Great ancient castle with big walking grounds around! The self guided tour is available and really educational. There are some very narrow steps on the top of the castle so make sure to wear comfortable shoes to be able to climb up. Not really for people with walking disabilities as it is tricky to climb up on very steep and narrow steps.

Great place for a day out. The grounds has a nice castle with some interesting rooms and information. A legendary kissing stone at the top of the castle. A beautiful mansion and various types of gardens beautifully landscaped and a nice lake you can walk around. The place also has a nice lunch place located in the old stables. We visited at the end of the holiday period so no long waits, I can image that in the holiday period it can get very busy with extensive waiting times. Buying tickets in advance would then most likely be better.there is limited amount of parking space on the premises.

If it weren't for my mom wanting to kiss the Blarney Stone, I would have missed out on visiting this popular tourist destination. I now see why it's so popular. The grounds are amazing with lovely gardens and walking trails. You can easily spend several hours here. While I didn't kiss the stone, my mother did. The gentlemen assisting those kissing the stone were most helpful. We visited in mid-May during the week around 10:30am. There was little to no wait. After exploring, I highly recommend the Coach House Cafe, which is on the grounds. The tomato basil soup and toastie were delicious. Be aware of the birds. They will steal your food in a heartbeat.

If you can, spend more time than anticipated. The gardens, the castle and the surrounding area deserves at least a half day if not more. It is a well taken care of castle and the gardens are beautiful! kissing the stone was … a little difficult to do to be honest. It’s further from the edge than it looks and you definitely need to be in shape to get on and off the castle ledge. It’s is however really great to see and if you can, try to kiss the stone.

A great day out. Plenty to see and do. We were fortunate that in June we did not wait long to kiss the stone. Sadly the weather was not great but did not dampen our spirits. Food and cake in the cafes was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean and the car park charges were reasonable. Definitely worth a return visit.

Excellent place to visit! I could have spent at least the whole day there. There was a lot more than just the castle. The line to kiss the Blarney stone was 1.5 hours long. We didn't even get inside the tower. Still worth it. The heavily wooded stuff near the Witch's stuff was my favorite part.

Host for stone of blarney - everyone visiting this place is mostly coming for the stone. Castle itself has nothing to see except empty rooms which once were part of the castle. Inside castle is empty - no floor or any other sign of interior - even roof is missing. If your here definitely take look in top of it around gardens which makes this place worth visiting.

Despite the poor weather our visit was great. Fascinating castle and lots of information about the history. The grounds and gardens are beautiful with two rivers crossing . The views from the ramparts are stunning and if you are brave enough to kiss the stone you can have a certificate to prove it. It's seriously scary so be warned!!

Blarney Castle and Gardens. It is a really great location worth your kind attention. A castle with a magic stone surrounded by a bunch of different gardens ranging from prehistoric ferns to gardens with poisonous plants and carnivorous plants. The entrance costs 22 euros. Large parking lot with very attractive rates. You have to leave before 1700 to avoid a fine.

This place was stunning. There is SO much more to Blarney Castle than the stone. You can easily spend an entire day here exploring the grounds. The druid caves are mystical, the gardens are gorgeous, the castle itself is huge and wild. I wasn't going to go to Blarney, because I thought the stone was a very touristy thing to do. But I went, and I am 1000% glad that I did.

We visited on Wednesday. The garden was quiet and not crowded, and we enjoyed a picnic with a packed lunch. The garden is very large and has a variety of plants. And it was well cared for. This is one of the must do places when you visit Ireland. I did not like the 2.5 hour wait to get to the Blarney Stone, so I was not able to kiss it, but I really enjoyed my time. The grounds are massive. Lots of green gardens and amazing gardens. There is lots to do and you can spend hours here and still not see everything.

Blarney Castle and gardens are worth visiting. You can easily spend hours in here if you're a fan of gardens and walking! There are multiple gardens that you can visit with different themes. The castle itself is nice, but the line up to get to the top can be long and time consuming due to the fact that it's only one lane from beginning to end and it's the same lane to kiss the magical rock on top of the castle! Watch your head if you get to the Castle's rooms as some of them don't have high ceiling.

Really nice location. Recommend to go for a whole day trip so you can look at everything. This was really nice because you can get involved in free activities/ experiences. Kissing the stone, wishing steps, climbing the castle and poison garden were main things that I really enjoyed. The whole vibe of this place was really nice. Staff here were lovely and even the tourists were always happy to help. Café was decent price and overall a cute experience. I went to both gift shops. Really nice place to buy gifts as tourists. Erin’s Gift Shop had the Ireland quarter zip and items I haven’t seen in other gift shops in cork. Tickets were ~€20 per person and you get given a map on arrival with more details/history on the castle.

The castle was beautiful, although we didn't have the opportunity to go inside due to the long line. The opportunity to kiss the Blarney Stone requires a one-way trip up through the castle. Very nice castle and huge park. A lot of different things you can see: kiss the stone, climb old stairs, visit a horse graveyard, and so on. Garden with poisoned plants. Even on a rainy day it is well worth the trip. The good thing also is you don't have the crowds to contend with. The gardens are just getting started. Steps and doorways need your attention. Don't be looking around while you are walking. Stop and look around and pay attention to where you step when walking. I'm glad they assisted while kissing the Blarney stone.

We visited the Blarney castle on an excursion from our cruise ship. We only had enough time to stand in line to kiss the Blarney Stone, but it was worth the wait. We almost skipped this place after reading the guide books. Glad we didn’t listen as we were among the first ones in as soon as it opened. We headed straight to the castle which allowed us to get the Blarney Stone kiss in without any issues or waiting whatsoever. Post receiving the gift of gab, we strolled the grounds and found ourselves really enjoying the gardens and grounds. Plan about two to three hours to do this place right. Added bonus is that the ice cream in the gift shop near the stables is not only super reasonable but delicious!

A truly enchanting location. We were blown away by the sheer beauty and impressive nature of the grounds. The castle itself was so awesome to walk through and explore. The views were gorgeous and there was also very interesting historical information inside. We went on a Friday around 2 and there was nobody there it was perfect! My only regret is not getting there sooner as the castle closes at 5:30. We were able to get almost everything in but we needed about 1 more hour to truly explore the gardens to the full. The gardens were spectacular in their beauty. I especially liked the fern garden but be careful to not accidentally brush a poisonous plant! I hear the lines can get pretty long to get into the castle so maybe avoid going on the weekend if you can.

Nice place full of variety. The almond croissant was absolutely delicious! I wish I could have taken one home. The pizza was fresh and made to order. I personally enjoy the greasy pizza style so if you do not, then do not get it. The sweaters were amazing. So soft compared to some places in the states and they were made right here in Ireland. Their a bit expensive but if you set out with a plan to buy something handmade, then your still winning! I enjoyed the experience!

As always a lovely visit, group loved it. Largest Irish Store in the world sure what else would you want. Staff very helpful and friendly and there is parking onsite. Lovely Restaurant, Bar and a Hotel onside also. Short Walk to Blarney Village and a walkway to Blarney Castle where u can kiss the Blarney stone. Give yourself plenty of time to experience everything Blarney has to offer. This place can get very busy when there is a cruise ship in at cobh as its a day trip destination for the cruise passengers

Lovely tea for 2 in a beautiful location. The hotel is an old stone structure that provides a nice amd warm feeling. The tea experience itself is nice, you get sandwiches and different kind of desserts. The toilets are also super clean.

Blarney Woollen Mills - great tourist stop! Lots of parking, public washrooms, and there are a few restaurants/ cafes all accessible from the same parking lot. The woollen mills storefront has clothing, linens you name it - if you’re looking for a keepsake from your trip to Ireland, this is your place. I did find this location is a hotspot for tourist busses so prepare to wait in line if you visit mid day or during the lunch rush.

It's a giant Irish shop with a little bit of everything. It's just down the street from the blarney castle. There a lovely cafe or if you prefer a pub right outside the doors. They ship your purchases to the states for free. My sister purchased several wool throws and they shipped them for her

Great site. Well managed grounds. Great crowd control. We were there first thing in the morning. Minimal to no waiting. Staff was excellent and helpful. Lots of safety measures in place, like handrails, ropes to hold on to. Not for the faint of heart. Very Narrow stairs,steep climb, close tight fitting stairwell. Historically so. Wonderful views from the top. Well maintained paths and trails around the site. Clean bathrooms.

Most beautifully presented place with a huge range of Irish products without the twiddly Dee. The range of good quality woollen ware is extensive as well as other clothing and homeware and crystal also. Wow! I can't express how amazing this hamper is! My friends were excited when they saw it too, couldnt believe it!.... I was freaking out after another company canceled my order last minute! Im from New York and i dont know anything about Cork just besides my friends living there 😆 ... and I saw Erin's Hampers in a Instagram's ad, so I went to the website and saw how close they were! I decided to have dinner at Blair Inn based on all the wonderful reviews that I've seen here. However, my impression of the food was not so wonderful. The fisherman's pie did not look like a pie to me at all; it rather looked like a soup with mashed potatoes in it (just look at the picture), and the taste was nothing to write home about. Stuffed pork loin was way overcooked; the meat was so dry that only the sauce was helping to swallow each piece. The service, on the other hand, was good and attentive.

A friendly greeting as we arrived set the scene for a cozy dinner for our two families. Our drinks order was prompt and the food is simply the best in the area. From the crisp pork belly, to the mussel and monk fish zarzuella and the wood fired pizzas, hats off to the chef. Our children had margarita pizzas, the thin crispy bases made the Italian way went down a treat. All in all excellent value for money and food that one foodie can rave about! Well done to the team at Blair Inn!

Couldn’t be happier! What a nice place and atmosphere. The food was exquised and service likewise. Went there because a friend recommended their Irish stew, but unfortunately they are not making it anymore. I had a divine fish pie instead. I will surely come back!

Blarney is a village just outside the city of Cork, in southwestern Ireland. Its 15th-century Blarney Castle is home to the legendary Blarney Stone, said to give the "gift of the gab" to those who kiss it. Extensive parkland surrounding the castle features a network of trails, themed gardens and the large, turreted Blarney House. A 19th-century building in the village centre houses the former Blarney Woollen Mills.
