Nice Place. This place holds a lot of historical importance. It's considered sacred for the people. For general visitors you get to see the central podium from a side queue. They have the sacred body of their Saint. The internal and external architecture is quite marvelous. Even if there was a queue it doesn't take much time for the visit. Parking on weekends or Christmas season is an issue. Overall a very good place and worth visiting if you are a History aficionado or a follower.

Much much better then Baga beach in terms of cleanliness. from here you can get a boat ride to see Dolphins, they charged us 350/- per person and it took around 45 minutes in going and back.

I stayed near the beach for more than two months. This beach is not a commercial beach like other famous beaches of Goa. That is what was greatest blessing for us . It was empty in the morning and evening as well. We use to see beautiful sunset when going for evening walk. Panji is beautiful city and it has blessing of back water and sea both.

Went for the experience of a floating casino. Got exactly that. Is it worth 3.5 - 4k per person? Not at all. There are 3 restaurants in total. One for all guests, one for premium guests and one for VIPs. The normal restaurant had live music and group dance performances. The ambience was nice but not extremely lavish as such. The buffet spread was okayish. Not worth the money really. The upper desk restaurant - Sky deck had live dance performances. It closes at 11 30pm. Mostly it feels like you're just in any other building.

Arguably the best one out of the lot. As far the ambience & vibe is concerned its top notch, music was fantastic & food was average. A bit expensive if you consider the entry fees, we had to pay 3.5k but you can recover the amount if you know how to play. Overall fantastic experience

I visited Delton Casino some months back and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lively. The casino games were exciting and kept me entertained for hours. However, the food was not up to par and left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would still highly recommend this casino cruise for anyone looking for a fun night out!

So, there are some really good things and also pretty bad things. I found the service of the staff to be fairly good. They are accommodating, and most importantly, the bar tenders will give you a drink, very quickly, without a wait. The boats to and from the mainland, are slow and not air conditioned. The food is nothing special, but it’s not bad, either. The poker room is great, except for the AC. Indians probably don’t care, but foreigners will notice that it isn’t that cool or cold. I was good initially, but started sweating a few hours later, when even Indians complained. I think the AC issues haven’t been fixed.

So it would be better if they create a separate waiting area for people not going to the casino floor. Sky bar has good starters and drinks option would suggest to spend more time there.

Good place to visit as an experience.. overall the staff was friendly. The entry was smooth, carry your age proof. The ticket depends on your liquor choices. If you don't drink then opt for the basic tickets. The Sky bar was good though the later you, there is less chance of getting a place to sit. The buffet dinner is ok but as the casino allows children it is mostly occupied by minors and aged people, thus making it difficult to get a seating place. So it would be better if they create a separate waiting area for people not going to the casino floor. Sky bar has good starters and drinks option would suggest to spend more time there.

Entertainment Part is good but You can easily in Goa of similar type. 4. Roof Top Resturant access can be closed any day and you just be confided to only one Floor for Food. And it was on the roadside so it was better to find a parking place for your vehicle then you can visit there and click pictures. It is perfect for photography. This is not a tourist attraction and there is absolutely nothing to do here, as a tourist, besides taking a picture of the facade from the street level. The church is only open during mass for the worshippers. Tourists are not welcome and not allowed inside. A strict and absurd dress code is requested and enforced even just for entering the courtyard, even when the church is closed. If you are a tourist on holiday, do not come here, as there is nothing to do here and you are not welcome; the church will probably be closed anyway unless there's mass happening.

Do walk around when you are there. Even without a guide you can give yourself a nice little tour around Portuguese quarter. The church is only open on certain days but there are lots of nice colourful buildings, squirrels running up and down palm trees, stairs with painted tiles and so on. It might be a good idea to stop at Tea Trunk for a nice authentic cup of tea with lactose free gelato.

You must be wearing 'respectful dress' to enter (e.g. no shorts or tank tops), but generally tourists are discouraged from entering, unless to pray. Expect the outside of the church to be very busy with people taking selfies, group shots etc.

The place is really unique and has its importance in History. As per Google and everywhere timings mentioned are till 6:30 PM. But the place is open till 5:00 PM only. It's far away place and many people were coming with the same issue and were quite disappointed with it. Information and Public transport is really a big issue in Goa.

A beautiful church to visit in Goa. We visited during new year time, heavy rush was there. We even waited for some time in queue to enter the church but it was all worth it 💯. (Note:- we also saw some guides outside the church. If we are willing to give them an amount like 200 or so, they will take us inside without even standing in queue and will give you a tour around church. Not sure if it's worth or not) One of a kind church with such a great history and beautiful views. Also we were fortunate enough to see the remains of Saint Francis Xavier. Ashlee beach is definitely like a private beach, very clean, a very good place to relax and chill. This beach is very less crowded and can find families most of the times. This beach has constant life guards patrolling. The seven art was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk. This safe for kids to place in sand.

This beach is one of the best in North Goa in my accord. The beach itself is extremely clean and well-maintained and clean and there is not a lot of crowds. There are several resorts and restaurants lined along this beach as well. Sunsets also look outstanding on this beach.

This could be a wonderful place but unfortunately neither the local authorities nor the hotels on the beach (that make lots of money from being located there) take care of the beach, especially in low season. There is trash everywhere and leftover oil from fishing boats is poured into the rivers that flow into the ocean and kills anything living there. It's incredibly sad to see that no one seems to care. Tourism is the main income for the area, but eventually people will be deterred from coming as Goa is turning into an ecological disaster..

While some may find them charming, their numbers can be overwhelming, especially if you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax without interruption.

Ashvem beach lies in between two of the most crowded beaches in North Goa namely Mandrem and Arambol. But unlike its neighbors, Ashvem receives comparatively very less footfall and hence it is a very peaceful beach to visit. Away from the noisy Goa, Ashvem offers peace and is easily accessible by roads. Clean surroundings, flat seabed and firm sand is what makes it suitable for a quick dip. It could get windy at times but it surely is a must visit if you are on the North side of Goa. Food and drinking options on the beach are limited and a bit on the expensive side. No public restrooms but the restaurants here allow tourists to access their washrooms if required. Overall it’s a very nice and cozy beach with a very peaceful vibe to it.

This place is located exact opposite to Basilica of Bom Jesus. You can walk in to the museum here with an entry of ₹10. Everything is maintained well here. Better not to click any photos inside the museum and the church hall to avoid scoldings from the lady sitting inside the church hall. This place has a restroom. It takes you about an hour to watch this museum.

Visited Saint Francisco Assis in Goa and was truly captivated by its serene atmosphere and rich history. The architecture is impressive, and the spiritual ambience is incredibly calming. A must-visit for those seeking a meaningful cultural experience in this beautiful region.

However, there are dress code guidelines; women are not permitted to enter if wearing shorts or sleeveless dresses, while men can wear shorts as long as they extend below the knees. These rules, though restrictive, aim to maintain the sanctity of the Church environment, contributing to the overall cultural and spiritual experience for visitors.

Convenient to park outside the main premises and simply explore the area on foot. You may want to visit this location during morning/noon hours. It closes really early in evening and the timing is not accurate. There are no ticket charges to visit this place. There is an archaeological survey museum within walkable distance of the church with nominal entry fee I suppose. Didn’t go inside, so cannot confirm the charges.

Visited this fort recently. Nice fort with all the history mentioned on its walls. The entrance is ₹50 and a mask is mandatory. Parking is free. We have to walk a little as the fort is at the top. The view is beautiful. Do visit early Eve to enjoy the view and the walk.

Reis Magos Fort is one of the best forts in Goa. It has picturesque views and the lush greenery is very attractive during the monsoons. It is a 20 minute walk uphill to view the fort completely. It is near Candolim, North Goa. We have to pay an entrance fee of Rs. 50 per person to enter the fort. The only drawback is that the sea shore near the parking area is not that clean. Apart from that, it is a must visit place during your time in North Goa.

Loved the spiritual feel on seeing the church. Though couldn't enter the church as it was closed by the time we reached we would feel positive vibes. Really a perfect picture place for instagram. The exit from the fort passes through the main stairs of the church,so in case you want to take the entrance ticket you have to take the lower pathway. Place is kept clean so please DON'T LITTER and also motivate others to keep the place nearby. Tour operators will approach you with their boat packages once they see you. Overall good experience

Small but beautiful 😍. Please note this place is not advisable for senior citizens or people who have issues with their knees or walking. The walking upto the fort is very steep and fairly long. In fact the very kind ticket lady herself saw my Mom and advised her to think 2ice before buying a ticket. And she was right it took a fair bit of energy to reach up. But the fort is very well maintained and sprawling with flowers and greenery. The view from the top is wonderful as well. It's one of the lesser known Forts in Goa.

Amazing fort at awesome location is one word for it. It is situated right next to the water body and plenty of parking also available. We went on a weekday hence it was not crowded at all. Lot spots inside for amazing pics.

You would "feel the history" if you knew the story of the fort and got up to its watch tower. This fort feels special, especially considering the vantage view when we reach up the tower. There is a climb up some steep paths but not strenuous. The adjacent display area talks about the history of Goa's independence.

One of the best forts you can see in Goa. It's really great and we will love it. It's very less crowded, neat that we will love. We can see the Nearby beach from the fort and it looks awesome. The two long steps look great and very nice. You can take a lot of photos here, the views and steps are really good for photo addicts. The history of the fort is mentioned in one of the rooms which is great and we will get knowledge. The staff is friendly and we can keep our bags at the ticket counter, which is very helpful.

Nice fort. Free parking. Entrance 50₹ even for foreigners the same. 25₹ for students. Very nice view from the fort. 3 halls of history and art + a nice small walk around the fort. You can see everything with reading about the history within 1-1.5 hours. Definitely worth the money. It‘s a small walk up the hill which we took in the hot sun. I would suggest coming early morning or early eve to avoid the hot sun since it’s a walk up the hill.

This fort traces its history all the way back to the 15th century and you can read about it when you visit the fort. Surrounded by beautiful trees and overlooking the sea, the fort offers a nice refuge to visitors even on hot afternoons due to its green cover. It's maintained well and still houses cannons that were used to protect its walls. I would definitely visit this fort again when I visit Goa next time.

Beautiful views from the Fort and a nice sea breeze. The Fort is kept clean and in good shape. It's a steep hill to go up or lots of stairs on the other side. Either way... It might be difficult for people with walking disabilities. We enjoyed a few hours strolling around and reading about the history. Well displayed. On the bottom of the Fort there are a few stalls selling food & drinks.

A very nice fort. Though small but lovely and well maintained with a beautiful view of the sea from top. Few of the canon stands have collapsed as it was bing supported by some weak wood. This needs some help to be out back in shape. The exit stairs are a little steep so be a little careful while getting down. They open at 9.30 sharp and tickets cost Rs.50 per person. Parking is provided opposite the fort. Cool drinks and small eats available at the small kiosks opposite the fort. A lovely church near the fort so that too can be on your visit plan. Best spot. Nice and calm! Pray and feel the positive energy within you. People who wear trouser and jeans are not allowed inside the temple, however you'll be given an over Towel to wear above your trousers before getting in. Do not litter.

Shantadurga temple is really beautiful. You will able to see mixture of Portuguese and Hindu culture in construction. Full dress is must, shorts are not allowed. But if you are wearing shorts, they will provide you "Lungi" to visit inside the temple.

A Tourist spot as well as Temple to worship in Goa. It won't take much time to if there is no rush. But, you have to make yourself silent and divine. Not so big temple too. Only a small area.

This is an amazing place to visit. Very calm and peaceful. We go here right around 11 and we're able to witness aarti. Please make sure to nit wear shorts or have something available to cover up your legs. Definitely worth the detour if you plan in visiting the Shahakari Spice Plantation!

One of the most clean silent and authentic temples seen in Goa. Three cheers to the management. Avoid wearing shorts and small clothes you won't get entry inside the temple. The vibes are really very positive and appreciate the cleanliness in the temple & around too. They have a separate gallery where you can purchase the sarees which were donated to maata Shantadurga.

Nice temple. They have dress code to enter in temple. Shorts/skirts/one piece till knee for girls etc not allowed. Women should be in full dress and men should wearing full pant or dhoti. Good things-temple is clean. Bad thing-But no where trash cans are kept. Parking space is problem. No proper parking. Road side is allowed only.

Beautiful !! Temple is located amidst lush greenary and as name suggests temple is calm and peaceful. Diety is very calm and beautiful too. Parking is bit difficult here and plenty of shoos are available to quench thirst and hunger.

Shri Shantadurga Saunsthan temple complex belongs to the Goud Saraswat Brahman Samaj located 30 km from Panjim at the foothill of Kavalem village in Ponda Taluka, Goa. The temple is dedicated to Shantadurga, the goddess who mediates between Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Purana talks of a battle between Shiva and Vishnu The battle was so fierce that the God Brahma prayed to Goddess Adishakti Parvati to intervene, which she did in the form of Shantadurga. Shantadurga placed Vishnu on her right hand and Shiva on her left hand and settled the fight. Shantadurga is holding two serpents - one in each hand, representing Vishnu and Shiva. The original temple at Quelossim (Keloshi) in Salcete was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1566. The goddess was shifted to Kavalem and worship was continued there. The site on which the original Temple of Shantadurga stood at Quelossim (Keloshi) is known as "Deoolbhata" and it is in the possession of the Shree Shantadurga Saunsthan Committee, Kavale. The current temple was constructed during the reign of Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj (maratha) of Satara during the period of the 17th century. It is a beautiful hindu temple with beautiful architecture and recommended to visit. Parking is free. Photography is not allowed inside the main temple.

A spectacular world in a ship. Asia’s largest gaming and entertainment destination. You need to buy tickets to be here. Online booking available. Tickets and a ferry, you are closer to this dream destination. Unlimited food and drinks while you play. A bit expensive, but for the experience its worth the price. Gets extremely crowded even in the weekdays around 10pm and on. Right time to peacefully experience is from 6pm to 9pm. Plan your day around this time and you wouldn’t regret. Know the rules and observe the games, before you play. Friendly well-trained staffs, and decent food and drinks.

Went for the experience of a floating casino. Got exactly that. Is it worth 3.5 - 4k per person? Not at all. There are 3 restaurants in total. One for all guests, one for premium guests and one for VIPs. The normal restaurant had live music and group dance performances. The ambience was nice but not extremely lavish as such. The buffet spread was okayish. Not worth the money really. The upper desk restaurant - Sky deck had live dance performances. It closes at 11 30pm. Mostly it feels like you're just in any other building.

Arguably the best one out of the lot. As far the ambience & vibe is concerned its top notch, music was fantastic & food was average. A bit expensive if you consider the entry fees, we had to pay 3.5k but you can recover the amount if you know how to play. Overall fantastic experience

Always book online as they give 10% discount so for one person it was 2700 and everything was included in that.. I will suggest that you go around 7 pm so that you can enjoy the skybar and then go to the casino for gaming. Don't hesitate to ask for rules as most of us go to the casino for the first time. Had a great experience here! We visited here for the entertainment section- it had amazing food - veg/non veg options. Alcohol will be served unlimited depending on the band you wear. It's a must visit place for a casino experience. Please don't visit this place with kids, I did see couple of kids and was little upset that parents get kids to such places and it's totally not needed for them to hear such loud music or see people drinking. They have ample staff which is a good part, all are friendly, quick with work and professional. Quick service and managed very well. I visited Delton Casino some months back and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lively. The casino games were exciting and kept me entertained for hours. However, the food was not up to par and left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would still highly recommend this casino cruise for anyone looking for a fun night out!

So, there are some really good things and also pretty bad things. I found the service of the staff to be fairly good. They are accommodating, and most importantly, the bar tenders will give you a drink, very quickly, without a wait. The boats to and from the mainland, are slow and not air conditioned. The food is nothing special, but it’s not bad, either. The poker room is great, except for the AC. Indians probably don’t care, but foreigners will notice that it isn’t that cool or cold. I was good initially, but started sweating a few hours later, when even Indians complained. I think the AC issues haven’t been fixed.

The kids room is available but the kids who are 10+ years are being allowed to stay alone over there, otherwise a lady whether a mom or some other female who is known has to be with a kid. And that's also on 1st come gets the access as there is limited space there. Kids can just access the kids room & restaurant area. For couples and friends I would really suggest, you will enjoy the bar life, cruise and casino life.

Entertainment Part is good but You can easily in Goa of similar type. 4. Roof Top Resturant access can be closed any day and you just be confided to only one Floor for Food. Overall, I will not recommend, in case you are going only for Food and Entertainment.

A beautiful ruin with all the ancient stories alive. The rooms for parish hall , convent etc everything is present. The excavation was really detailed. The maintenance is also too good as all the remaining parts are really clean and clear. This is one of the oldest church and compound in whole india. The area is also very beautiful. Must visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I visited this place with my friends on weekday. There was not much tourists at that time and we were able to roam around the campus freely. I loved the architecture of this place and this place takes you to past times. I got clicked some good vintage style photos near some of the ruins. I got to know from a local that this church is also part of the World Heritage Site and a song from Singham movie was also shot here.

This place is near by the Bom Basilica Church and there is no entry fees for this place but the entry is allowed till 5 pm . It's better to visit early as it is ruins and there isn't much shade so it can be pretty hot once noon. One can stroll through the ruins nad see the chapel at least what remains of it and take pictures of it. Do be aware not to sit or climb on any of the ruins as they are already in such delicate condition.

It is a really great place st Augustine tower it's really wonderful. It completely worth of visiting and you can take photos but you can't use any stand or anything . Personally in my view they are not preserving good most of the place where full of grass and Moss and other places where just opened and not covered. And other statue getting destroyed by the visitor's it can preserve more good but it still worth of time and it's really amazing

Its a beautiful place! Leas crowded as people have to walk for a bit from the church to see this place. The walking path is pretty clean and there is still some restoration work going on. The lawn inside is well maintained. There are no shops outside this place !

Also the bell of the Church later moved to the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. This place was also used in many Bollywood songs.

A beautiful small museum covering the history of Portugal colony and local goans chemistry with religion and occupation. The staff is very polite and helpful. Along the other attractions nearby, it must be visited, you can decide the amount of time based on your interest and availability.

The governments has restored this tower and chruch. Only walls and portion of chapel, you will find. But the tower is majestic. The place is greenish and well maintained.

One may call it’s a ruins of a church, but I call it a old church with a high tower on a hill. Still gives you peace and silence which one can expect from a church. It’s has a very big place of structures, few movies shot here. Drones flying not allowed here keep it in mind. No entry ticket.

The very old place of goa is st. Augustine tower. Now managed by the archeological department of India.

The church is designed by Italian architects , mimicking the st. Peter’s basilica of Rome. Belong to 15th century built by the Theatines. This church is a typical example of Corinthian architecture. You get to see the magnificence inside the church . Its free to visit the church but not the convent beside .

The best church with mind blowing Architecture. Very close to BOM Jesus church but very few people visit here. Very green nearby and we'll maintained.

Worth a quick visit after Basilica De Bom Jesus. It's a peaceful church 5-10 minutes walk from the main Basilica.

Another massive building in a quaint side street of Old Goa. Not many tourists around. The interior looks bigger than it actually is.

St. Cajetan Church, also known as the Church of Divine Providence, is a church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Goa and Daman located in Old Goa. The church was completed in 1661 and is part of the World Heritage Site, Churches and convents of Goa. The church is in the form of a Greek cross and has a large dome with Latin inscriptions from the Gospel of Matthew on its inside. The Corinthian style facade of the church has four granite statues of Saints Peter, Paul, John the Evangelist and Matthew. The church has seven altars, with the main altar dedicated to Our Lady of Providence. The main altar is based on the one at Church of San Nicolo, Verona, and was ordered in 1713 by the Theatines under the patronage of Cosimo III de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany. There are three altars on each side of the entrance, with the altar to Saint Cajetan is located on the right.

Beautiful architecture. Visitors parking is outside the gate premises.

This is another church within walking distance from the Se Cathedral. This one is also nice but less maintained than the other two and less crowded.

Co mocated with SE Cathedral, lovely church. Must visit. ASI work is ongoing but does not distirb the tourists.

Well maintained and well organised church and complex near Old Goa church (Bom Jesus Basilica). Beautifully carved in terms of Classical Architecture. It has surrounded by the designed landscape by good volumes of bushes. It has the ruins of palace on one side. This place is very calm and composed.
