Its a joke, not worth your 300 pesos a person, to get onle a sandwich with canned tuna, and a microwave portion spaghetti, promisse you plated snacks, noone of them are snacks, i eat snack all night long in toril e ery day for a week a full belly with 300 pesos, there is nothing to see there, better go jack ridge or in the mountainview area, and buy your nice philippine food on the road. Swimming in a swimming pool butterfly garden or flower Garden, non of them, the other a tivities is separayed to be paid for, if they are there and not on lunch while you came, dont waste your time!! A white chicken in a cage called the white siamese pigeon is one of the jokes .

Rooms: booked and stayed at log cabin, shangrila, and camellia. Camellia is ok, log cabin and shang are old. Big rats surprised us when we came back from an adventure. Rats under the bed, you can hear them scratching the whole night. Hot and cold showers not working, even after their maintenance crew “repaired” them. Kitchen exhaust has already retired from this lifetime. Tiny sofa at log cabin which can accommodate supposedly 12 pax. Shuttle service: drivers should be called pilots, they wanna fly their old retired shuttle service cars. Crew: friendly and accommodating, difficulty of speaking in tagalog which we don’t mind, but considering that it’s pricey rates and highly rated reviews from paid vloggers, meh. Ceremony and reception for wedding: can be up for debate, some like nature themed, some dont. Any event with more than 100 pax, not ideal. The outdoors of course can accommodate but once you enter their function hall, nope, 150 is too crowded for a planned intimate reception.

We stayed in mountain villa 1 for 2 nights and 3 days. It was an amazing stay..the kids enjoyed all the activities that we had. The tour guide for our day tour was so lively and even help us in taking our family pictures. The rooms don't have any AC but it's fine since the room was already cold, cutlery, refrigerator, microwave were also provided so u can store and reheat your food. The toilet/bathroom was so nice coz it has a landscape inside only the downside of it was the floor was always wet, there's a hot water too which was so helpful during morning showers. There was no butterflies in the garden but it was understandable coz it was affected during covid. 3 days was really not enough to discover all the places in eden. Staff were all friendly.. peacocks come just outside our doors in the morning and late afternoon so the kids loved it alot ..

Great for nature tripping. There lunch is buffet so eat all you can at Php 600.00 only.

Entrance fee is quite high specially if you come late in the afternoon and there is no show anymore, and the butterfly house which is included in the price won't show anything anymore after dusk. But anyway was nice to see some other animals as well too. And fortunately they was a nice fire show outside the park in the village which staff of the park announced also and advice to go there.

Some people will be upset about the small enclosures for some of the animals, but, remember, it's a small island and the animals looked healthy. We missed the educational show which was presented in English. I went with several children and they loved it. They need more environmental education, and being able to see animals and learn more about them is the best place to start.

Love the place and its animals, especially the crocodile which has lots of group size. We also witness the animal presentation which we have participated in the events. The place also has crocodile and ostrich ice cream, with the added of a coffee from a civet animal. Very informative and family friendly place to visit.

Like a mini zoo. With scheduled shows good for family with kids. The entrance fee also let's you access the nearby butterfly park. Entrance fee for both parks is 399. Not too well maintained though. But we all enjoyed the different animals enclosed there. They also have petting zones and photo zones.

The place has improved in the last 5 years. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes you can enjoy. Esthetic and creative designs to attract visitors and stay. There is a little themed park for kids and adventurous individuals who like rides. This one on the images is taken at Paramount. It's one of the places you can visit here. Very cozy and comfy for celebrations.

This is not just a regular Crocodile Farm but a friendly zoo! A must visit place around Davao for your young once even adults! The only thing that concerns me is that I hope they have larger enclosures for the lions and birds. But overall I Love the show which they showcase different talents of different animals kudos to the zookeeper's!

Some will say it's a must visit, others will disagree - but if you are visiting Davao with kids (especially those who are interested with animals) this is a definite must visit! The animals in the park are well taken cared of, as you will see that they do not act stressed nor are they unrully in their cages. Also, they are not malnourished like in other zoo/parks. Overall, it is a great experience for me and my family.

One of my favorite Zoo's on planet Earth. The show they have in the afternoon is a must watch if you miss the show you're missing out! They have the oldest crocodile on earth as well 😁.

The Davao Crocodile Park and Zoo still remains to be a must destination when in Davao. Both children and adults would learn about the life cycle of farm-bred crocodiles, its uses and its contribution to the environment. The park also serves as the home of the largest captive crocodile named Pangil. For those who have not seen tigers, lions, other reptiles, monkeys and orangutans, Burmese python snakes, different bird species like peacocks, hornbill and parrots, visiting the zoo would be an educational experience. Their animal show also features the natural behavior of the animals and not force them to do things that are not innate to them. In this way, we respect them and give importance to their roles here on earth.

Our family had a great time at the location, especially the animal show.Some animals are balding (perhaps from old age), and there are some empty cages. Although the place is clean, animal odors should be expected. It's also wise to pack drinking water because the price inside is doubled. But all in all, I had a great experience.

Huge number of crocodiles as well as others and few you can feed. Feel kind of bad about the tigers and Lions since they don't have a lot of space.

A fun tourist spot in Davao, but the animals displayed are not all that impressive. It's good that we can feed some of the animals but they should have full time staff watching the visitors. Some were petting the rabbits a little too roughly and some would even try catching the fish in the koi pond. The animals must be protected from too much petting.

The two stars are as follows and hopefully PEC will address it for the sake of the preservation and proliferation of the Phiilippine eagles. 1. We feel the eagles does not have enough space/enclosure for them to fly around. 2. The raptors in the Raptor garden specifically are obviously chained to their perches but the chains are so short. They need to fly around just like us humans needing to walk. Very sad to see 3. The crocodile enclosure is the same, too small. 4. The place needs uplifting 5. There is no tours to explain and stop visitors from being too noisy. 6. The plants needs watering 7. The structures like cabanas needs repairs PEC has a lot to offer and and a very beautiful place, just like everything it needs attention and care. We know funding will always be the case and we hope the government can step in to save our eagles.

I was only expecting to see eagles. Didn’t expect to experience a short tour and walk around this park of the undisturbed nature. The environment have lots of big giant plants ; you can imagine the natural nutrient these plants gets 😆. They have quite a number of eagles too. Their tour guide is also fantastic! His explanation through the whole route makes it even more interesting.

It would have been a 5 star if they have at least bird shows or an up-close experience with the eagles with the guidance of the care takers.. The eagles are too high up in their cage and we cannot appreciate them more because they are just standing..wishing there were a lot of volunteers to accommodate the guests during the tour around the area.. anyway it was nice to see the eagles..

It's nice to see a center dedicated to preserve the Philippine Eagle. Other than that, they also have a lot more different types of birds and animals: eagles, owls, monkeys, and alligator. The price for having a guide that will tour you is different from without one which is more expensive but very informative. They tell you about the stories of the birds and also fun facts about them. In fact, the model for the eagle in the new P1000 bill is in this center who is named Viggo (last 2 pictures). Overall, a very fun and interactive experience - the prices are a bit high but the funds go to taking care of the animals.

This place is truly wonderful and is doing an excellent job in conserving the Philippine Eagle. They also have other animals aside from eagle.

The one place I know you can see the endangered Philippine eagle. They are so big and known as a monkey killer. Surprisingly big in person and they have many to see here. They have a captive breeding program to increase the population because they are critically endangered. Each bird has a story and a sponsor. The center also has other types of eagles, hawks, owls even crocodile and monkeys. Entrance is 150php per person and a volunteer guide will show you around. You cannot walk about freely. This place is definitely towards the top of my list of things to do in Davao.

Learnt a lot in the tour about Philippines' biodiversity. This place is not just about the Philippine Eagle but also the rich animals that this country can offer. I have lived in rural areas for a good amount of time but was not able to appreciate it much until I got to see the wildlife itself. These birds and the others in here are something that should be protected and cared. The Philippine Eagle Centre is doing a work we should all be grateful of.

After a year in Davao it is my first time to go to this place and its because of the vaccine.But anyway, the place is well maintained and clean. Even their restrooms are clean. Kudos to the City of Davao and hope many tourist can visit this place.

Davao People's Park is a place where you can relax, do some exercises, and some students practice their dance activities at school, do jogging, and many more. A must go place if you want to visit Davao City. The park has no entrance fee.

Its fun before pandemic. My children love it there. But its not yet open for kids because of Covid. We're waiting for the opening hope its soon coming.

Unique park with a lot of great art/statues. Perfect place to hide from the hot sun! Bring your own drinks though.

My favorite jogging walking and running place while in Davao City. Well- maintained and clean and very safe. The big old trees and the plants where able to keep the area cool. Very family oriented place and there is always a guard/Police near the entrance area to keep your mind at peace.

It's a relaxing place within the downtown, mostly visited by young couples dating. There's a durian-shaped building, a fish pond, and benches under the trees.

People's Park has always been one of the go-to places in Davao City. It's a perfect place for jogging every morning, just to unwind, and enjoy the fresh air and sceneries. This year, with the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing, the Red Cross Davao, in partnership with the City Government of Davao, has made use of the park to provide people with easy and free vaccination services every weekends.

Went here last May. The park is in the heart of the city which is nice. There's a lot to see here. We had fun!

People's Park Davao is so relaxing. It has tall big trees within the area.. The people gets inside to exercise, walking, running and small and big groups are doing aerobics and zumba.. Or just talk and sit a while. Others Young and old just sit in the benches and feel the vibes by listening to the music..after a while of taking pictures for souvenirs.. The locales and tourists are enjoying this place : a MINI FOREST in the middle of the city. And ABOVE all its FREE! TRULY A PEOPLE'S PARK!🤩

We visited for the day and it was well worth it! The gardens are so well maintained and beautiful. The butterflies were great to see. The chocolate factory was very educational (we had never seen cocoa trees before!) And the chocolate tasted lovely! We got the snack package which was a delicious sandwich with banana chips.

Very friendly and acoommodating stuff. We have a request to the Manager and she automatically understood our situation and she gave our request. Very clean and a good place to get the kids off from their gadgets. The bird show is well organized and they added a good twist on it. The animals are well fed meaning the resort take care of them well.

They are very polite and welcoming to every guest. The place is naturally maintained. But the payment? I find it very expensive . For a day tour 499 weekdays 799 every weekend that includes chicken sandwich and water just for a snack. 599 weekdays 899 weekends with lunch included, water as well. The place is far from metro Davao. The place is relaxing but again it's expensive.

Came here to tour the grounds, so there's no room rating. The place a bit dated and dilapidated, but the few places we checked out were interesting. The chocolate museum was neat, though wished they'd let us see the chocolate making process instead of just the history of chocolate. They have an animal petting section though kind of sad looking. The bird feeding area was fun though. They have a butterfly sanctuary, though only 2 species of butterfly were seen. They have some impressive koi.

Tried their buffet for Chinese New Year and it was great! Loved, loved, loved the chocolate Museum tour and sampling different levels of chocolate darkness. It's a great place to take kids for an outdoor stroll.

One of the most fabulous Resort I have visited. You're literally in the middle of nature, vibrant and pure. The place is quiet and serene (at least off season), with a little river running on one side. The staff is attentive and accomodating to customer's needs. The only reproach I would do is that there are too many caged animals, just there for entertaining humans, and the food has no cruelty free alternatives. If you want to stand out, it's time to upgrade to these standards. This would in turn attract more Western visitors. A overall unforgettable experience.

If you do not stay overnight, the place is better visited in the morning to enjoy all the attractions. The place is very nice and well-maintained. The animals are mostly birds and those found in farms. The main go-to in the resort is their chocolate factory. Chocolates there are the best.

Came in for a day tour with a batch of 12 people and paid 699/head including a set lunch with dessert. Food was good and enough to keep us full for the tour. Went to the butterfly dome first and had some interactions with the butterflies then went to the chocolate factory which was nice. We had a go with the chocolate making which was quite interesting and you get to keep the ones you made as well in a neat box. Finally we went to the petting zoo but because of the rain we weren't able to see a lot of animals but the bird feeding was really fun! Spent like maybe an hour playing with birds and taking nice photos!

Went for a day tour plus lunch buffet. The receptionist needs a lot of retraining. We sent an email to book for daytour plus buffet and ended up booking on a wrong name despite using the actual name on the email plus the correct details. We instead send a representative to to book the tour and ended up not being booked when we showed up on the actual date despite paying 50%. Good thing we had the receipt. Otherwise, money would have been lost. Food in the buffet were acceptable. I bought 2 loaves of bread in the cafe. But staff in the cafeteria took 10-15 minutes to get the loaves, which we can see clearly ready to be sell. Staff are just finger pointing whose going to get it in the bakery. Too many staff chitchating and not doing anything. Not really acceptable. Please retrain staff on how to properly behave while workinng in hospitality. Staff in the exhibits were fantastic nonetheless.

Stayed here overnight on a weekday and I would say it was a very peaceful, relaxing, and nice stay. The staff were awesome anf helpful, food was great, very charming at night as well when the temperature has calmed down. Do try out their massage service! It was so relaxing! You can take a taxi from downtown Davao City which would take around an hour depending on traffic. But once you get there its really quiet and peaceful.

It is clean, well organized, a bit pricey for what you get. I enjoyed the butterflies and the birds the most. They do a nice job blending tropical jungle with paved roads to walk

The weekend lunch buffet is very worth it! From the service and the quality of the foods. They offer a 10 buffet station with a wide dining area. The Resort is quiet big so prepare your legs for a long walk in different parks inside the resort. They also have accomodation if you want to stay longer. Im pretty sure we will comeback soon 😊

Been here way back years ago.When my nanny thing of my younger cousin's field trip happened. We went to a swimming pool and it was good. It is very spacious. The views and the nature feeling, very relaxing, the bird show, the animals inside. Just months ago, my sister-in-law went here too. She said that it was a good a good stay indeed! Her stay is related to their nature kind of work/job. So, they stayed and slept also. The service is nice.

I'm so happy we visited. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The food was awesomely tasteful. They even have a dance presentation during the lunch buffet and a live musical performance. We also enjoyed the mini bird show with their awesome Eagles! Highly recommended! Entrance for all Attraction + Lunch Buffet = 899 / Person.

Location is far from the city, almost an hour private ride. We went for day tour and buffet. Buffet food taste is good. Chocolates are definitely must try. Great for nature tours

This is a wonderful collection of gardens and natural beauty with a few treats thrown in such as butterfly domes, animals, aviaries and a delightful Chocolate Museum. The rooms, at the far end of the campus along a creek are elegant and very comfortable. There are a few dining options, from cafe style to upscale (oddly the upscale dining options is called Koi Cafe). The main purpose of this place seems to be for day-visits and day events. They have several meeting halls and look to be able to host multiple groups of 50-100 people or maybe more. An ideal day trip for families. A great place for a weekend family reunion. But their Villas also make for a nice romantic getaway for couples. The weakest link in the operation is trained and skilled staff. Over all a great Davao mid-week getaway, and great weekend day trip with kids.

We've been here for the true Malagos Garden Experience. The staff are very helpful in guiding you throughout the resort. A free van service is also ready to give you a ride when your feet are tired of walking around. Enjoy pleasant nature walks with the family. You can watch birds by the birdwatching view deck. Don't forget to bring your binocs. Visit the Malagos Museum for additional knowledge on cocoa history and cocoa farm-to-table processes. The bird shows are truly a must-watch and you can have a chance to interact with the birds of Malagos. Don't miss out on the bird show at 10 am every weekend. Regarding the buffet, make sure to eat well and healthy. Don't miss out on the food especially those made from their prized chocolates and cheeses. I could truly sense that the choco tablea cake was made with their dark unsweetened cocoa.

Honestly, was a bit of a letdown for our family. We only did a day visit, but were underwhelmed in the quality of entertainment/amenities. Seems like it needed a lot of repair and fixing up. The best part was probably the bird feeding dome. The price was just not worth it for us. Weekday was 540 per person

This is my kids' magical place and we're so happy to spend our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year at Malagos. Core memories indeed. We love that everything is so thoughtfully organized and that all the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional all at the same time!

Not exactly an ideal stopover place. They only have one option: a package price for BOTH meal and tour. We just wanted to eat there for lunch, but you cannot just choose the lunch but also had to pay for a tour which we did not want. So we ended up going somewhere else.

A nice experience to have. This is the only bone museum in Southeast Asia. You will learn not only about the bones but you'll soon realize how important it is to care for the environment and be a responsible human. The place offers a tour guide who eagerly explained the bones of the animals. It is amazing to note that some of those animals on display died because of human errors and greediness. Overall, I recommend this place to tourists and students. Oh! They have discounts for kids, students and senior citizens too..

We went into Downtown Davao City and found this very interesting museum! The Bone Museum! We went there right after lunchtime and had the place to ourselves for a wonderful private tour which they provided at not extra cost! The staff are wonderful, helpful and kind! We learned lots of interesting information about a number of skeletons and bones related to the Philippines and all around the world! They had a display from my home state, Alaska! Well worth a look and a great place to bring the kids! Prices were very reasonable and they have Senior discounts.

What this place lacks in size it makes up for the variety and number of bone exhibits it has. It feels like any other museum you normally would visit however the guides are fantastic. They are quite knowledgeable and are making a seemingly boring exhibit into a fun and educational one. One of a kind experience in Davao and definitely must do.

A very fun, interesting, and informative experience. They have a large variety and collection of bones, bugs, butterflies, and even gemstones. It was fascinating to see these real bones of foreign animals which you would never encounter in the Philippines. The guide/tour was accomodating and had expertise in explaining the origin, facts, and even questions we had about the bones in the museum. It was an unexpected place and I never knew about it until I visited. The location was hard to get into because of the cramped streets though they do have a parking area for guests. Overall, totally worth it.

It's one man's passion for educating people about the environment. The building is tucked away in a busy residential neighborhood with narrow roads. There are three floors of displays, with a few clever jokes and mythological creatures hidden among a large collection of osteological specimens. The top floor has an impressive display of specimens fron the sea.

It's very interesting. They have a huge collection of animal bones from dog bones to even whale bones. What I loved about my visit was the museum staff actually gives a tour of the place and really gives you very interesting tidbits and facts about the bones in their collection. There is an entrance fee of 250 pesos but it's pretty fair I would say

Educational and one of a kind! Staffs were really dedicated and do their best to accommodate tourists and guests. Fee was reasonable around 250.00. Souvenirs are inside the museum. Good for families and learners at heart. Luckily just we are to leave, the owner arrived!! Woahh

Amazed by the fossils and animal bones featured in this museum. It somehow awares us to take care of the environment and be also responsible with all the things that surrounds us in order to protect especially our wildlife. The museum guide is good in explaining each of the exhibit displays.

✅Should have been a 5 star rating, but unfortunately we have to park in a parking space near VXI and have to walk from there due to the construction of the road, no motorcycle or car can go in the museum. The walk is just a few minute walk, but I don’t recommend this place to visit for people who come with senior citizen or PWD because its not safe. See the first video for reference. I know its not the establishment’s fault, but it would have been better if they put a bigger signage. We got lost on our way there, sayang ang time namin paikot2x sa maze. We went there this month, MARCH 2023 and I dont know when will the construction end. ✅Entrance as of March 2023 is 250 per head ✅There is a tour guide (Jewel) who is very informative and very accommodating, kudos! ✅My son enjoyed the tour so much, esp when he saw the dino bones. Unfortunately, he knows what a replica is and he got a lil bit disappointed. 😂 He loves dinosaurs and he was perplexed why there is a dino bone here in the Philippines (that was before he knew it was a replica) ✅The tour was bitter sweet because we realized how the humans are killing our mother earth. But it was also a teacheable moment for our 8 year old and the next generations to come - to take care of our environment by just simply not throwing plastic on the ocean, using biodegradable materials, not using leather products, not buying ivory products basta daghan! Humans are evil 😒

The location is not easily accessible. It's in the middle of residential area. The smell is suffocating but other than these, my experience was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, calm, courteous, friendly and the collections are amazing. The museum really had vast collection but we were told that there's a lot more currently not on displayed. I hope they can find a bigger home for the bones and more accessible to the public.

Brilliant little museum It's located in a narrow backstreet of Davao, but the street itself is interesting and full of tuktuks, fruit and meat stands. It's an experience in itself. The museum staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and the tour was excellent. The museum had heaps of bones. That's for sure. Worth a visit. Also they sell civet coffee for cheap (compared to kultura)

Finally made it to the largest bone museum in Asia. Can't believe it took me this long, being a born and raised Davaoeña! The tour was incredibly educational, thanks to a knowledgeable guide. Dr. Darrell Blatchley, the owner, was gracious in sharing stories and plans about the museum. Definitely worth a visit!

Great place for kids and kids at heart. The museum has 3 floors to explore they showcase bones and remains of different kinds of animals from land, sea, and air. They close their doors at 5 pm. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who allowed us to have a picture of the yellow snake. It was a fun-filled activity and our kids loved it.

Great place to bring kids to learn the cricle of life, while spreading awareness the harm of human trash can cost our sea and the effect in marine life, which I hope makes us more responsible with trash and not to throw then by the sea. also bonus I got the privilege to meet the founder/owner of the D'Bone Collection & Museum who gave souvenirs to the kids which was really nice!

Fascinating display. I loved how the displays tried to increase the awareness of ocean going wildlife's sensitivity to garbage in the water. They would often display the debris that had been found inside the animal that killed it. Emphasizing how little floating garbage it takes to kill a creature.

This museum has 3 floors. the first one is small and just a small preview, before you go to the second much bigger one. 250php per person is a ticket, and you have your own personal guide. My guide today was amazing. Girl was able to say so much about everything there and so many interesting facts about animals that I never knew about. Same you will be able to get background obout some of the animals, how did they die, and you will be probably very suprised! Please visit this museum if you have a chance, and after you leave the museum, have everything that they will tell you for a long time in your head. Keep the pollution in the world to minimum from your side, as human impacts on the animals' world is huge! The smallest trash in the ocean could kill a big majestic creature. Be good to the world and keep animals safe!

This museum is very educational for all ages! I highly recommend visiting this place together with your family and friends. A tour guide will assist and discuss all there is to learn in this museum.

Incredible value for only 250 pesos! Tour guide is included with admission. Our guide Jawa was super friendly and knowledgeable! We joined her tour a bit late. After it had concluded, she was kind enough to go back and explain a few exhibits that we missed at the beginning. Impressive stuff 👍 The third floor was a bit warm but overall not a big deal. Highly recommended!

Food was decent and the guided tour was nice and interesting about the history of the tunnel

The tunnel experience is quite short but historically informative. If I remember it correctly, the place had the right to have the tunnel view for abour 350 meters unfortunately the other part of the tunnels are already owned by other people and establishments thus, the whole 7 kilometer tunnel base can no longer be explorer by tourists.

This tunnel is situated in Davao City's Hillcrest Subdivision along Diversion Road. The tour guide's entrance fee is 50 pesos. I'm impressed by how well the employees cared for both the 150-meter-long tunnel's historical relics and the tunnel itself. The tour guide appeared to be reading from a script because she spoke so quickly. Food is reasonable for its price. They also have a pool for kids to enjoy and a room if you want to stay longer.

Very much enjoyed my visit to the tunnel and had an excellent meal of Beef Curry when I was at the restaurant. Friendly helpful staff made my visit very pleasant. Thank you! Recommended for Filipino foods

Learnt a lot about the history of my hometown Davao City. Thank you to our tour guide (I forgot the name, so sorry!) she was very informative and answered any questions we had. The tunnel was only 150 metres but they had to close the rest off. The tunnel was actually originally 7km long! But now some parts are owned by private land owners etc. The staff ensured your safety all throughout the tour as well. There’s actually a resort within the compound and a restaurant that cooked really great Filipino food.

There is only a 150 meter of tour. It is sad to know that these is a long tunnel spanning of 7kms. But due to privatization and lack of sense of other land owners they did not unitedly develop it so that future generations could learn from the past. You would be amazed by the history of it but much is still wanted to explore if you are really into history. Entrance is 150.

The tunnel was shorter than i expected at 100m but the guide was very educational on its history and preservation. The cave is also actively growing stalactites!

It was a very informative visit. Even though it's just a short walk inside the tunnel, it's still interesting to see how people had to survive during those times.

Get a small taste of living in a war tunnel. The Japanese dug in here for years trying to fend off the incoming Americans. Only a few hundred meters out of the 7 km are available to visit, but for 50pesos it's worth it. The restaurant is beautiful too, good food.

Japanese tunnel is a big part of our Philippine history. You can always research everything you want to know about the place. In less than 10 minutes your tour will be over . This history is well preserved by the private owners. The entrance fee is affordable so its worth it. Getting inside is very interesting. A tour guide will inform you about its history. How the filipinos were treated by the japanese during those times when japanese soldiers conquered the Philippines. The japanese tunnel serves as the hiding place of the japanese soldiers and inside they have a small cell where they they imprisoned their captures who are filipinos. Water inside the tunnel runs freely as it was their source of water . Until now the spring water still exist. Beyond unimaginable how the filipinos suffered during the world war in 1945 and onwards till the war ended. This place is very important to see for ourselves especially we the filipinos to reminisce and have an idea on the experiences of our ancestors in their sufferings during world war. Additional knowledge of our history and being in the actual place where it happened is quite astonishing. Youll know the meaning of heros and whos deserving to be called one. I have goosebumps and really feel sorry to the filipinos whom the japanese captured and imprisoned in 4x4 feet cell that occupies 4 to 6 prisoners. They can only stand or sit . It breaks my heart to think how those filipinos manage to survived if they did.. lets pray for their souls.

If you're claustrophobic, this is not for you. Air can get think inside. It's not much of a highlight but can be included in sidetrips. We were inside when the earthquake hit last November 17th. Enter at your own risk ;)

Its definitely worth to witness the Japanese tunnel in real time...pray for the souls of our ancestors who was captured by the Japanese soldiers and became slaved to dug the tunnel made of solid rock..

A historical place and a very worthy place to visit especially both for young and old. A good educational experience as the tunnel guide was well verse in narrating how the tunnel was dugged, the things that happened in the area during the Japanese occupation and how the gold bars were discovered. According to the guide, the tunnel length was about 7 kilometers, where 8 tons of gold bars were retrieved. We also saw rooms within the tunnel and statues of some Japanese soldiers with the fabricated gold bars that depict a dramatic scene about the tunnel during World War II.

This Museum was previously located in a Old Structure. It moved to a newer building, and smaller too. Exhibit is only at the 1st floor. You can finish with this stop in just 5 minutes or less, unless you would stare at each item for a minute which will take you around 50 minutes. The Lady at the Museum if you can call it a museum said that they will be moving to another place. Hope it will be better than this. Staff here are friendly though.

This museum will show you the history of the province. It will introduce you of how it started as a small town up until how the livelihood progressed to a successful province we called now as Davao. You'll be accompanied by a guide all throughout the tour. Lot of tribes happened to live there back in the old days. The displays inside the museum, from vintage photos up to the real costumes worn by those tribes gave me chill. I liked the simplicity of this museum. There's no need for modern technoz to emphasize it's worth. The displays are enough to amaze me.. it feeds me the message naturally. The staffs were all approachable and accommodating too! *Taking picture is not really allowed in there; but there's few areas on which they let you take photos with.

They only have 50 items in their temporary museum. The staff were accommodating. It's always nice to know more about your heritage.

Enjoyed my visit. I was greeted by a friendly student intern who toured me around and explained the various exhibits. She gladly answered my questions too. The museum was not big but it was enough for me to learn many things about Davao and made me appreciate it more. Can't take pictures of the exhibits inside but can take pictures of the art exhibit.

Museo Dabawenyo is just a small museum but is full of history. The admission is FREE plus there is a guided tour with the guide explaining about every single thing being exhibited in there. One thing is for sure after every visit, you will learn something. It is very fit for everyone to check out the place especially those who are there for a visit.

Rating it mid as my visit happened to be maintenance day. The museum is really small and the second floor was closed. Due to it, you only get to see little of the museum. Even when it is little, you get to learn a lot as there is a tour guide available, especially during times with many visitors. This museum also allows you to touch its displays (except paintings).

Me and my family went here for our Davao history. The place is small but packed of very informative and interactive activity, and the best part is its free. Although their collection is small but, I really like it since they are open for public to connects Davao's rich culture. I just do wish the local goverment have a grant for their Vision and Mission. Small but interesting museum covering local history with artefacts.

This museum showcases the history and cultural heritage of Davao City. Entrance is free, or you can hire a guide. It may not have a lot of exhibits, but it is definitely an interesting history lesson.

Lots of variety here, with some of the food vendors jumping onto global trends (like single source, local chocolate) and some stable and good Filipino chains (Taps is great and cheap)... disappointed with the bibingka (not much salted egg, no cheese, and standard boxed white cake texture) with others being surprising (cocoa nibs is a great addition to halo-halo, by the way!) The live music is always great. Not tons of parking, but it wasn't nearly as busy as it had been (2017)...

Need more shops/restos to bring this once lively place back to life. Still, a great place to visit for some good food and a nice quick stroll.

Matina Town Square is one of the best hangout place in Davao City. They have live bands and good food at a very reasonable price. Take time to relax and have a good time with your friends over drinks, snack, and a lot of good stories. Parking is good, and it's safe. The army and police presence is great and they are all friendly! Comfort rooms are good and you have a lot of options from coffee to anything you can imagine.

A lot of shops / restaurant are closed, probably due to pandemic, doesn't look as good as it was before. Still have some ope' space area with music and food court

I recently stayed at this location, and I must say it's a fantastic place. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. Moreover, its proximity to cafes, restaurants, and a gasoline station makes it an ideal choice for travelers. I highly recommend this place, and I would rate it five stars for its exceptional service, which surpasses that of other establishments.

Matina Town Square is slowly rebuilding its reputation as the go-to party place for Davaoenos by adding more restaurants, bars and establishments within the property. I have not been to this place in awhile so it was a nice surprise when we went there the other day and found out that there was a new restaurant that is reminiscent of the one in Makati. So far, I have only visited two establishments and I hope to explore this place more in the next couple of days.

We were at the Matina Town Square for lunch. I had a sumptuous meal at Rokaru Express, a japanese restaurant. It was a great experience although it was a quick drop-by. Usually the place starts to fill in the afternoon, I was told. It was great to find good food for lunch in this place.

Nice place for a night cap and food trip...different food stalls with good music and drinks, police officers roam around the area so you'll feel safe. Great for family and Barkada bonding

Love going to Matina Town Square. It's the perfect place to chill, have some beer and unwind. It also has a convenience store if you need to get some stuff. It has food options both for vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters. I love to listen to live bands and they have one each day of the week. One will feel secure entering and staying as it has guards and task force roaming around and checking the premises. The bathroom/restroom though is so-so. One time I went in and there was no TP (toilet paper) and no soap in the dispenser. Regardless, it looks clean.

I was there when this place was born... some bars set up in the same compound with a live band playing. Went home with muddy shoes after slushing our way from one table to the other. There was a time when you walked in Taboan and you recognize a lot of people. Still remains as a water hole for beer thirsty camels and hungry chupacabras. Especially on Friday nights and weekends or holidays. Vast options here from exotic pulutan to the best halo-halo in town. Definitely a good place to bring visitors and chillax.

My local mall. A great place for convenience shopping. Groceries, clothing, tech, hardware, and filipino favourite restaurant chains. I really like browsing the local start-up shops on the first floor.

Nice SM Mall, easy to get around and has everything you need to make shopping easy and con CB convenient...also has a jeepney thermal on site and special event space outside adjacent to the food court.

For me, it is the biggest mall in Davao so far, and it's much much wider .Lots of restaurants. And BIG parking lots. Has BDO bank inside.. fountain every hour.Thier food court is wider, but there's more room for improvement.not enough choices for a meal. They have viking and starbucks, 711 and etc.

It was my first time visiting this location and it was huge, impressive and I enjoyed shopping as I saw all the stores in Canada in this location. Easy parking. They have all kinds of branded stores, starbucks, food court, and all you need items.

SM lanang Davao City is a place where you can bring your family, friends, and couples. Many restaurants, store clothes to shop, Grocery Market, and many more.

The Mall is very spacious and lots of options. Sm never fails to amaze in their interior and seasonal decorations in different events. Kudos to the team behind on the interior design although its a very huge canvas to do. I hope they maintain the cleanliness in the restroom and outside public areas. and i hope they will add some balcony or pathway in the leftside of the mall (near the elevator going to smx convention center).

First time going here. Like any other SM malls, it's modern and lively.

These were all the pics I've got here. My family's go-to mall, since 20 minutes away lang siya from home. ✓ The Mall is near to condos, hotels, and a Hospital. ✓ A typical mall, but I really love their interior and exterior, simple yet elegant. ✓ Secured, guards at every store. 📍My favourite part is the Northwing ground - where they held events like food fest, and artist's concerts, like Ruel's, recently lang.

It is probably the most famous church in Davao. It is the ecclesiastical seat of the Archdiocese of Davao. This cathedral has a lot of history. The first version of this cathedral was bombed and had a Neo-Gothic architecture. The church is very big with a unique architecture made from concrete. The interior is a big contrast from the outside with it being modern with a large and extremely beautiful altar. The mass I attended was good being presided by the auxillary Bishop of Davao. The San Pedro Cathedral was probably one of the biggest highlights for me visiting Davao. Note that there is pretty much no parking for the church.

A great solemn place with the heart of Davao City. There is a security personnel which makes more comfortable and safe. No pack bags allowed to enter inside. I love this place

Very solemn church. After mass, the priest called and blessed the birthday celebrants for the day, and the church goers sang a birthday song for them. For security, there were officers at the gate inspecting the bags of the visitors.

We started our travel with a prayer here at San Pedro Cathedral. Well ventilated church. Very okay to visit even summer.

Always visiting churches whenever I travel and I liked that it's a weekday that I went here so the calmness and quietness helped.

The cathedral is a massive work of art and policemen are scattered in the area safeguarding the visitors and the place. Its also close to nearby parks such as osmena park, rizal park, city hall of davo and a few walk going to bangkerohan market.

San Pedro Metropolitan Cathedral is located at San Pedro St., Poblacion, Davao. It is one of the oldest church and is considered as a history landmark in Davao. The spot is accessible to commercial establishments like banks, restaurants, inns and the like. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have visited in the Philippines.

This is a Cathedral located in Davao City. It has an interesting architecture on the outside. Made largely of concrete it gives a modern look when being viewed on the exterior. The concrete gives that cold vibe to the design, but as soon as you go inside you will see the warm lights surrounding the interior and the wooden seats that face the central altar. Interesting to note also, the cathedral is facing the city government buildings. When you want to go around San Pedro street to look for interesting contemporary architecture, don't forget to stop by San Pedro Cathedral.

Saint Peter's Metropolitan Cathedral, also known as San Pedro Cathedral or Davao Cathedral, is the ecclesiastical seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Davao. An earlier church, said to be in the Neo-Gothic style, was built on the same site as the current cathedral in 1847. In the 1960s, due to its small size, the Diocese of Davao sought funds to enlarge the church to resemble an ark, hence the pointed front with a cross. A separate bell tower was also built. The cathedral has witnessed two bombing incidents: an incident in 1981 that killed 17 people, and one in 1993 that killed seven people.

Ideal place to take your pals on a gastronomic trip. You can eat, get a massage, and go shopping all at once at Roxas Night Market. Since the authorities are very strict, I recommend not wearing jackets or backpacks when visiting Roxas Night Market. After you've finished eating, you can take a walk  and try the open-air soothing massage for a reasonable charge. Alternatively, go on a shopping spree where you may buy trendy outfits, souvenirs, phone accessories, pieces of jewelry, ukay-ukay shoes, and clothes. Such a cool spot! Servers are very respectful. Can be quite overwhelming and sensory overload as there’s a lot of people close by and most servers are trying to get you to buy their food as well as smoke from the bbq sometimes clouds your vision. Good prices on all items. Very thankful for the security and police presence it makes you feel safe. They have almost anything you want for a reasonable price.

This is the Divisoria in Davao. There are lots of yummy street foods, especially the grilled seafood. There are different desserts as well. Souvenirs can be found as well. Place is clean and will feel secure since there are policemen surrounding the area.

It's my First time since the pandemic, unfortunately few stalls are opened. We've undergone a full security check. They won't allow you if you're wearing a jacket/overcoat. You need to remove it before entering. Sometimes there will be huge lines so be early. Food was good & cheap. Chicken skin & fish balls are my fav. Our day ended with a mango, charcoal flavoured icecreams. Will visit again.

Still one of the best places to go on a food trip, even if you're on a budget, with your best buddies, family, loved ones! We suggest leaving your backpacks (if you're bringing one, you would be required to hold it in front of you which I guess, is too great of an experience). Best to keep your important stuffs in a small body bag. Wearing of jacket or overcoat can be done on a different place other than here. Besides, you'd really appreciate wearing light clothing especially as you stay longer here. Once you're in, it's all worth it! Food (grilled, desserts, you name it!) and beverage are cheap and satisfying. Eat till you drop, and then you can shop! Fashion finds, souvenirs, are on the haul. Be at ease with friendly police personnel guarding and guiding the locals and tourists alike.

First time visiting Roxas Night Market and had an interesting time. Plenty of good food and drink choices as well as other goods. I tried chicken livers on a skewer and they were good. I plan on going again before my trip is over.

When you visit Roxas Night Market be sure not to bring backpacks and don't wear jackets or coats because authorities are very strict with the safety of everyone. It is absolutely not allowed inside roxas night market and even in close proximity to the area.

Should have been 1 star only but the security personnel were very nice to my mom by letting her sit in a chair when she got exhausted. Other than that, the food choices were not great. Everyone was selling exactly the same thing. Would have been better had there been hot soup or noodles or other delicacies. The non-food items were mostly phone accessories with some souvenirs about Davao. No interesting clothes, bags nor shoes. It’s not very interesting at all. This place can be skipped if you’re a tourist with tight schedule.

A famous avenue where food stalls, ukay stalls and stores of clothes and shoes are being installed. This is the place where you can buy foods like Pastil, Barbecues, juices, Ice creams with unique flavor " Black Charcoal" and etc. This place are the go-to of employees and workers, students, and groups of friends who want to hangout and eat together.

Roxas night market has a lot of everything.. mainly clothes cellphone accessories and food. Crowded but not crazy. Security is good, people are nice. Food options are limited but what you'd expect for a night market

A large market with a wide selection of food and drinks. If you order food, you can enjoy it at a table. The food isn't expensive, and they offer various combinations, especially if you want to try something new and unique to your country. You're in the right place. A bit further, there is also a clothing market and other items. They can even offer you a massage! I definitely recommend visiting this place, eat well for a good price, and you'll surely take away a great experience

Roxas night market is very different from before. The place is now clean and organized. Entering the market you will need to submit yourself for security inspections. The food is good and delicious, you have a lot of selections from Seafood, Meat, Vegetables, and Desserts. I have a good experience, well recommended.

We arrived late in the night and were told that the night market closes at 11pm. Also backpacks are not allowed inside. I was allowed after bag check because it was my first time to visit and I'm not a Davao resident. So many food stalls and clothing stalls. There was also a massage area. Fun to go around. We ended up at a Durian stall and had our craving satisfied. We had 5 varieties and they were all good! It was a good experience

Lots of things to buy.. from clothes to food. Street food was interesting but i wasn’t that adventurous to try, although some stalls were pretty decent. I only tried the ice cream and it was good!! Definitely a must try.

Expensive food (if you're looking for cheaper group dining options). Some ala carte servings could help mitigate the price, though.

Tight security. Once you go in, you can't go back na sa entrance area. Exit is at the far end pa. Lots of stalls but mostly the same lang yung binebenta. You just have to choose kung saan masarap.

Loved Mt. Apo. My climb of the year! (December 10-12, 2022) I want to go back to this mountain in the future and take the same trail again which is the Sta Cruz Trail (circuit). At the time of our hike was amazing due to nice weather. Thank you Lord for the clearing. The organizers (i-Trekkers) were very accommodating and caring to us and they'd made us laugh all the time. Overall, it was fun and unforgettable experience in hiking Mt. Apo. 🧡❤️

Top of the Philippines! Winds are getting stronger here so ya'll better crouch when it slaps hard! Sure, its tiring to climb as you face many different terrains, boulders and winds that can push ya'll but hey, congratulations yall finally reach the summit! Take nothing but a memorable pictures and videos and leave nothing but footprints! Enjoy the time while staying here because its gonna be a long way to hike down back to the path where you climb. I was a newbie back then, unaware of the things concerning hiking/mountaineering, I was with Osmond and Lisa, also newbies, we were really unprepared, but though it was really tiring - (6 hours of hiking to get to the campsite and 3 hours more to get to the summit), it’s one of the best experiences I had. Hiking the highest peak in the Philippines is a one of a kind experience. We were able to go thru different terrains. It was tiring yet a fun filled adventure!

Once of a lifetime experience. Although being a novice climber, the guide and porter are always helpful and patient with us all throughout the journey. I recommend to visit the local tourism office if you are planning to go.

The highest summit in the country. Very beautiful scenery. It has differently unique sites. The boulder area is very challenging yet astounding. The summit has 360degree view of neighboring summits in Mindanao. Lake Venado is an enchanting water that gives a wonderful reflection of the summit. Different trails have different challenges. A really fulfilling experience!

Beautiful and challenging mountain. Went in late April. Rained a little bit but overall it was great. The summit view was beautiful. Campsite could do better with some improvements e.g. water source and sanitation

This Mall is very nice and cheap, I've been shopping relatively here because my favorite mall is Abreeza and I like it here however, whenever I want to use my card and Gcash to pay, the cashier crew would recommend paying in cash because it might be delayed for them to receive the payment and if they could not receive any payment they will swipe the card or let me scan the Gcash again and again which is something I don't like since I have encountered the same situation previously, they kept swiping my card multiple times because they didn't receive any payments and when I checked my online mobile banking it has been charged a couple of times!

Always loved this place. They have items and sections that you can't find in other malls. They have a craft shop and textile section (I only know one other mall that has a textile section). Gmarket is my all time fave because of the variety of products. They started stocking up on foreign imports which is awesome. Their international aisle, is full of items that can help you cook something authentic in your kitchen. I just really love everything this mall.

Everytime we come home to Davao, we always make a stop here even if there were several malls already open. It brings back a lot memories, it's very nostalgic. My son has been singing the song "Come one, come all, come to GMall" even after were back to US. Although, some shops have come and gone, the original GMall atmosphere is still there. Hopefully, when we go home in a few years, it would still be there.

They have a variety of items to choose from. However, some are really "old" stock (you can definitely tell because of its quality and style) but it's priced the same with other "new arrivals". Even though the place is really spacious, it is still crowded. Lines are also long because only a few cashiers are available. The sales staff are not that friendly. They don't really entertain questions even though they are not doing anything at the moment 😅😅😅 Location is also very accessible since it's located in the downtown area of Davao. Restrooms are clean and well maintained.

This Gaisano mall is huge than any other gaisano I've visited so far. Plenty of shops inside. Accessible and bit crowded.

Funky vibe, great deals to be had if you want to look. Excellent tech selection. Rooftop club, coffee shop and restaurant are very cool. Supermarket on the basement level is big, busy, lots of checkouts and huge selection of items

Gaisano Mall have a lot of stores for different needs. They are also cheaper compared to other malls.

Really enjoyed being in here. There's a lot of space and stores to choose from.

Not as what it was before. There are certain spots in this mall that aren't well ventilated. Even their Jollibee fast food here is as hot as outside temp.. Too bad for a big mall to have very lousy ventilation.

a one-stop shop mall located downtown. from grocery shopping, retail stores, various cafes, cinema, etc. one can also enjoy roof deck strolling and dining. ample parking spaces, can easily commute (taxi, van, jeepneys). lots of neighboring businesses and schools.

I love the parking area most. Your vehicle is protected from the burning sunlight. There are a lot of cheap products as well in their Department Store.

Probably my favorite mall if I'm just killing time, want to get some exercise while in air conditioning, or need to pick up some socks, food, or whatever. Probably the largest mall here in Davao, several floors. Moderately clean, although somewhat dated, and the layout of the escalators make no sense. You go from the ground floor to the 2nd, you have to walk around to take the escalator to the 3rd, then walk around to go to the 4th. It's like they intentionally make you walk past shops this way, which is NOT customer friendly. Still, a good "middle income" mall with a good variety of stores for everyone. Grocery store is also very good, lot of western products, although it varies wildly from week to week.

There is a parking area. Lots of shops. You can withdraw money inside from the ATM. Visit Gstore, you can get good clothes for affordable prices. Go to the top view, sit there and have a good time with your friends and family. There is a lot more 😃😃😃

Got to visit here on April 22, 2023 "Toy Expo 2023" there's a lot of Anime Figurines and Cosplayer (especially the minecraft one) I had a good time here and recommend you to go here on the next Cosplay events!
