A must visit place in Manali where you get to spend time in the woods. You get to pet beautiful little bunnies and take pictures. If you love the woods and the silence you can spend more than 30 minutes here. But if you don't you can just spend 15 minutes to enjoy the views and more oxygen.

You can take a gentle boat ride on. It is relaxing and pretty. If you love watching birds, you're in for a treat. There are many colorful birds here, flying around and chirping happily. Families with kids will love the playground area. There are swings, slides, and lots of space to run around and have fun. Though some of the equipment's are broken. You can also find quiet spots to sit and relax, maybe have a picnic with your friends or family. Van Vihar National Park is a great place to escape from the busy city life. There is an entry fee but it would be worth it for the time spent.

If you want to waste some quality time roaming around in a pleasant place full of trees surrounded by you. Then you can go for it, even if it is good for the photoshoot.

Great place for a history buff. Its a day trip from Bhopal. Tickets are 40/- pp but 35/- pp if paid online. Read through the history from the internet before coming here else hire a guide. You can get a guide from the entrance too to understand more about the monuments. There are stupas, monastery, temples, edicts and other smaller stupas of important Buddha's disciples. For those who are bringing their children, there is a light and sound show in the evening too.

Bhimbetka (An archaeological treasure) is a very good place to visit in monsoon because of its natural beauty. It is a UNESCO site because the rock paintings on these rock shelters is around 30,000 years back. These rocks are color absorbing rocks i.e. the paintings are alive till now. Its location is very beautiful, you can feel the forest here. I love their auditorium. They have Jungle Safari as well but it is only from October to February. You can enjoy it here with your family.

The rock paintings on the the rock shelters are thousands of years old and have stood the ravages and test of time.. thought need to really concentrate while looking at them.. it gives us a terrific picture of how these people lived due this time.. it’s very very well kept and the texture and composition of the rocks over time due to flow of water through them is marvelous.. you can easily spend 2 hours there.. do visit the Unesco world heritage site .. it has good walking path but better to wear comfortable shoes while visiting the total loop is around one and half kilometers long. There is no word to describe a national park, I came here after like 12 years and it is been a amazing development since. Thanks to the authorities. One mistake I made earlier is to try walking. It is not that you can't walk that long. Its this beautiful animals come and go within short time so you better have bit more mobility to get glimpse of them. Its better to rent a cycle which is best experience to ride this in this nice road or get pass for your vehicle I think Best time is before evening 4 to 5pm. Usually during this time animals like tiger return from ally to their keepouts and you may better chance to have glimpse of these animals. Although regardless of your sighting wild life, one trip near lake and greenery will be worthwhile.

This place is not managed well and there are very few animals which you can count on your figures. There are the places of some animals with their name but the animals are not there. The bicycles are also in the worst conditions and are not maintained. The only good thing is you can bring your vehicle by paying the amount while buying the tickets. Overall this could be a good place if managed and maintained properly and keeping animals in good condition.

This place is so close to nature, polution free. Must visit in the morning hours for better animal views from 9 am to 10 or 11 am. You could get electric bikes and bicycles in here as the distance is long. 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler entry is available, and only 2 people on one motorcycle are allowed. People do make passes over here for their daily morning walk, jogging, running, the reason for these activities are the environment and this place is so close to nature.

Cycling near Lake was awesome during evening. Sunrise and sunset is very beautiful near Lake area. People can bring their childrens to see tigers,leopard lion, turtle ,deer, snakes, birds and crocodile.there is one stage also where lots of kids activities are done to encourage interest among them for forest and wildlife. Separate toilets are also available there . Very well managed by forest staff ,they are genuinely working there day and night taking care of animals . people can take their own transport after paying on road near to lakes.

I had a fantastic experience at the VAN VIHAR NATIONAL PARK BHOPAL.The wide variety of animals was impressive, and the enclosures seemed spacious and well-maintained. You can either take your own vehicle and explore the roads amidst the National park or you can rent bicycles or you can go for their Safari. Animals which you can expect to witness Chital, leopard, tiger, neel gaay, various birds, peacocks etc

It's really a center of coloration from every state . It's maintained is excellent and if you need to see all properly It's take 4 to 4 hrs. But it's good to see.

The IGRMS is a anthropological museum that preserves links and research ideas about the origin and social relationship of human beings long ago. The entire museum is spread over an area of 200 acres of land and is very huge. The museum is close to the famous Demonstration Multipurpose School in Bhopal and also near the Upper Lake. So we accessed it through t he lake view road. The time I visited was during the ongoing open exhibitions in the museum. I went round the museum and also learned that the museum holds different types of exhibitions throughout the year. Indoor galleries, special exhibitions, periodic and temporary exhibitions, traveling and online exhibitions are few of them. The museum is very close to the Upper Lake, and therefore it attracts large number of visitors daily. It also contains a rich variety of ancient resources collected from every nook and corner of India. The museum has a large library where I found few of the best compilations that represented the history and evolution of the country. There is an indoor museum which depicts the life style of the people who lived long ago. From the collection of weapons they used food, utensils and clothes they wore, everything is preserved in the museum. There is also the dummy structure of the kinds of houses the ancient human beings used to live. The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is located on the Shamla Hills in Bhopal. So the view from the hill top to the entire city was picturesque. The lake also provides a good recreational area where I sat for a long time before returning back for the day. As traveling is what I do whenever I get some free time, I was truly impressed by the information I have gained from the museum visit.  I was truly happy that I made a good decision to bend my interest toward visiting one of the ancestral monuments of India.

This is truly a MUST VISIT in Bhopal, I loved every bit of it. Hats-off to the creativity and the hard work that has put in to make this place Most beautiful and amazing. I decided not to use my phone while walking through each halls on both the floors as i wanted to enjoy every art. I just could not close my eyes looking at them, it gives chills, spooky vibes, positivity and the happiness. So I took another ticket to capture some of beauty. I had a snack and coffee in the restaurant, it was very tasty. The shopping outlet has some amazing handmade painting that one can buy as souvenir. If you are a museum person then you should visit this museum without even a second thought. The Museum is located in the hill area, the ticket is 40₹ and 100₹ additional for cameras. Even for mobile photography, they do charge which I found very odd. To explore the museum you at least require an hour or so. The artwork inside the museum is extraordinary and marvellous. Some of the artworks are kind of tedious to understand and will blow your mind. The tribal part is also taken care of very beautifully, I almost liked every part of the museum which was very different from than rest of the museums I have ever visited.

Must see if you are from Bhopal or visiting. One of the best Museums I have been to and very well maintained. Photography is an extra RS 50 per camera. We loved all the exhibits and especially the description and mythological stories associated with everything which helped us understand more about the culture and tradition. One of the must-visit places in Bhopal. The exhibits are so painstakingly designed and built. Learned a lot of new things about different tribes of Central India. All the information can get a bit much, but I still appreciate the care put into this place. Absolutely beautiful.

Had been here a few times just to get amazed by knowing the way our tribes had been living. The museum has been designed very well and the attention to details is amazing nothing feels like a setup. Apart from a museum it also has a library for which you can enroll yourself. Also this place houses a theatre where you can enjoy amazing performances. Located on a small hillock it offers amazing views of the city. The temple premises are quite clean and peaceful. The temple closes in the afternoon between 12-4 pm. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. There is a nice museum nearby with lot of sculptures and other archaeological finds.

The place is different from what is shown in the picture. The temple is small and beautiful but it covered from three sides by buildings of samaj. A good place as a marriage hall. The idols are attractive and properly maintained and clean.

I was also impressed by the sense of peace and tranquility that I felt when I was standing in front of the mosque. Even though it was locked, I could feel the energy of the place. It's a marvelous piece of work and is a must visit in Bhopal town. It's known to be the biggest mosque in India. Built in 19th century by the then Bhopal ruler nawab Shah Jahan Begum. You can feel a tranquil atmosphere inside. Also the pillars and interior works in it is feast for eyes. Entry to the masjid is completely free of cost, but t the masjid was not at all much crowded even in the weekend. Don't know why tourists are not rushing to visit here.

A blink-and-you-miss-it stop on the highway between Bhopal and Sanchi. There are no signs until the Tropic of Cancer line itself. Look out for it on Google Maps and you can stop your car on the side of the road. Overall, a quiet peaceful place, hardly any people around, so no waiting. On the way to Sanchi we got an opportunity to see the Tropic of Cancer. We stayed there for a while to make our journey more memorable. We got some photographs clicked. According to the geographical point of view, Tropic of cancer passing through the highway and clearly marked on both sides of the road. This place has got some fruit carts for travelers to refresh. It was near the Toll Plaza, so vehicles were too random. One should watch before crossing the roads for their own safety.

There is no word to describe a national park, I came here after like 12 years and it is been a amazing development since. Thanks to the authorities. One mistake I made earlier is to try walking. It is not that you can't walk that long. Its this beautiful animals come and go within short time so you better have bit more mobility to get glimpse of them. Its better to rent a cycle which is best experience to ride this in this nice road or get pass for your vehicle I think Best time is before evening 4 to 5pm. Usually during this time animals like tiger return from ally to their keepouts and you may better chance to have glimpse of these animals. Although regardless of your sighting wild life, one trip near lake and greenery will be worthwhile.

This place is not managed well and there are very few animals which you can count on your figures. There are the places of some animals with their name but the animals are not there. The bicycles are also in the worst conditions and are not maintained. The only good thing is you can bring your vehicle by paying the amount while buying the tickets. Overall this could be a good place if managed and maintained properly and keeping animals in good condition.

This place is so close to nature, polution free. Must visit in the morning hours for better animal views from 9 am to 10 or 11 am. You could get electric bikes and bicycles in here as the distance is long. 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler entry is available, and only 2 people on one motorcycle are allowed. People do make passes over here for their daily morning walk, jogging, running, the reason for these activities are the environment and this place is so close to nature.

Cycling near Lake was awesome during evening. Sunrise and sunset is very beautiful near Lake area. People can bring their childrens to see tigers,leopard lion, turtle ,deer, snakes, birds and crocodile.there is one stage also where lots of kids activities are done to encourage interest among them for forest and wildlife. Separate toilets are also available there . Very well managed by forest staff ,they are genuinely working there day and night taking care of animals . people can take their own transport after paying on road near to lakes.

There are 2 courtyards present now. There is an artificial water fountain in the second courtyard. Overall a good place. Mostly permission is till 1st courtyard. They won't allow everyone to the interior of the building. The view is really nice to the upper lake.

Actually I went for Gauhar mahal for a photoshoot but they denied us entry. I went there for the first time. So i did the photoshoot near the outer edge of the Mahal. Giving 3 Stars for now since I haven't seen the Mahal from inside yet. Review might be updated in near future.

Visited here in 2017, its been 6 years and still one of the best Museums I have ever visited. The Portrayal of the statues and the tribal homes made inside remind me of Old times of my village that was so beautiful. Ambiance of the inside looked exactly like real. If you visit Bhopal it can be one of the places that you should visit.

If you want to take pictures 100/- per camera/phone is the charge, which is actually worth it as the place is photographic. A must visit place.
