On 26/01/2024, a lot of crowd showed up as is expected on a public holidays! The temple management was completely expecting the same, was prepared for everything. Yet the rush was too much to handle as it took more n more time to do proper felicitation. Lovely place! I would love to visit again someday. Hopefully on a weekday with less of a crowd.

Beautiful temple in Pune City. Many people visit here on a daily basis to seek blessings. We visited on a Sunday and went here early, still many people were already in the queue. The management is good and they handle the crowd quite nicely. Do visit but come here as early as possible.

On one of my weekend, on the way to ma na pa to swargate we saw a side road towards temple, so we decided to visit the temple, on the spot. The temple is very nice. There are two temples one is Lord Ganesha, with another is of Lord Shiva, looks one of the oldest temple. Both the temples are well maintained, but the complex from outside is not maintained. The river just beside the temple is very clean shops of modak are there. And they provide free storage space for your luggage there and shoe storage space is also provided by the temple. The area in front of the temple is on the main road so it is rarely crowded but always crowded on weekends.

The most famous fort for its historic significance as well as the easy travel there in the city of Pune. It’s visited on the daily by a lot of people as a part of their exercise. Sadly the whole fort is now covered with vendors selling food and chips and what not. There is no management for litter here which is disappointing. The climb is fairly easy but there is easy access till the top by cars or local drivers who take you there. You have to climb the stairs and walk a little to roam around after that.

You can get local food as well ad packed stuff on top. There are 4-5 points that you can cover. Overall something nice to do if you have a day to spare and are in the area.

Great experience.... The trip is one of the best for me.. Complete foggy surroundings with rains in between, Just make it perfect for trek.... I visited it on Monday... Moderate public with good light. Drive carefully through the ghat and walk carefully during the trek.. Take a snap of the map at the beginning for a better experience, though there are proper guiding hordings in the way.... Just make sure you leave the place early so that you reach down early before night. Try to start trek as early as possible. Food is available sufficiently. Parking is no issue. Take some cash with you as sometimes the network doesn't work properly.

First trek in my life. I went with a group of 35-40 people so I had amazing company overall and a lot of experts to guide me because I was a complete noob. Such a serene experience going up, we were guided by a bunch of cute little puppies until the way to the top. I'd recommend a good pair of trekking shoes with good friction and support so that you won't slip there. Be careful while climbing because there were definitely some weak spots throughout. Good rural Maharashtrian breakfast up top, amazing experience overall.

Trek was fun and there were many rest stops along the way. The fort itself was very beautiful. One thing was that if you stopped walking people would come up to you and ask to come to their stalls for eating. The food was also good up there. There is also a jeep service which you can take. 10/10 would recommend.

The Sinhagad fort is perched on top of the mountains with incredible views. In the monsoon season, there would uncountable waterfalls. Sinhagad fort is popular with trekkers going on 2-day trips including climbs and meals. I'm sure it's a really scenic trek with a good a workout.

Massive fort area perched atop a nearby hill overlooking Pune and the Khadakwasla Dam. Recommend if you need a break from the hustle and bustle and want to dive into history. There are spectacular views of the landscape you can grab from all sides, check the photos.

Nice place to plan an adventure day.. Two options are available to reach the fort. First by trekking and second by the road. At the fort, you can do a lot of sightseeing. For foodies, great local options are available. The only concern points are.. If you visit by own 4 wheeler, you might be facing a parking problem on a crowded day. And the second is.. Housekeeping in the area can be improved. If you are planning a trip for the first time, better plan a whole day. Really you can spend a complete day over there and still you will feel there is so much to do.

Nice early morning drive from Pune city to Sinhagad :D it is scenic and very cold!! Once the sunrises, the temperature is normal :) the views before sunrise are hazy. It’s not extremely beautiful but still a good getaway to see some greenery and the horizon. Lots of snacks and tea and tiffin available everywhere

1. Better not to go in summer. Always try to visit in monsoon. Carry water, wear hat and go in the early morning 🌄 if you are going in summer days. 2. You've bike and car parking at the top of the hill. Sometimes it's difficult to find the parking. Still you've lot to trek even though you're parking vehicle at the top of the hill as it's very large landscape. 3. You'll find food shops at the top of hills. 4. Paid washrooms 🚻 are available but it's very dirty. I think it's not being maintained properly. 5. You'll find temples, samadhi, nice scenery, good trail for trekking. 6. Ticket required at the entrance of singarh forest area.

A calm place. Good to be visited at evenings. Great if you are accompanied by someone. It will be superb to go with friends for a casual hangout. Nice wind and atmosphere. Nothing much to see there.just the ruins present. The story line is nice if you dig deep. Its really interesting to read the panels and evenly on Google if you search. Great experience for a casual time pass as I had to spend an hour or two it was really nice place to be at.

Its a nice place to visit alone, or with family/friends. People who are more interested in history will enjoy this place a lot. I liked that almost at every place, there is a small board with the information on it about that particular place, but at some places it's broken, they should fix it. I don't know why but the washrooms were shut, I hope this is not the case every time. Don't forget to take an umbrella with you as it's an open place and under direct sun, one can get tired very soon. And keep you token (ticket) safe as if you lost it, you have to pay fine of 100/- 😅

Unless you know the story and relate to it, or you have someone to explain there is no point in entering inside. The vaada is all broken and only ruins remains.. The most grand thing there is the grand gate which is visible from outside also. Park your vehicle in the parking only .

You have to leave by 6 as they have a light show which starts at 7 that has separate ticketing. The place is very peaceful. It was very hot when i visited. A calm place. Good to be visited at evenings. Great if you are accompanied by someone. It will be superb to go with friends for a casual hangout. Nice wind and atmosphere. Nothing much to see there.just the ruins present. The story line is nice if you dig deep. Its really interesting to read the panels and evenly on Google if you search. Great experience for a casual time pass as I had to spend an hour or two it was really nice place to be at.

This historic fort is located in the city. You can easily visit if you are in Pune. 25₹ entry fess. No washrooms inside. Lots of food places outside of it.

Well parking here is chaotic. Usually on weekends rush would be there. Keep change while going to book tickets. They usually don’t go with Digital one as well. Place is well maintained at few places. You can see people having picnics and all. Surrounded by temples this place is so goood. The view from top is beautiful.

One of the biggest reason to come to Pune was to visit this historic place. My experience was very good even though I went there in summer as temperature was very hot. I will definitely visit during monsoon to see the charm. The structure is very good and very well maintained but many fountains were closed may be because we went there in noon. For entry, you need to scan the QR where Rs 25 will be charged. You have ample amount of parking.

Good place for a one time visit. Entry ticket is priced at 25\- for adults and free for kids. They have a view point in the 1st floor of the fort. Try to avoid visiting in the afternoon time as its too hot and the place has limited trees. Parking space is limited too. There are some good restaurants nearby.

This place has a rich chapter in Maratha Empire history. Most of the structures are destroyed now. But the remains are beautiful. But I feel like this place could have been maintained better. Security guards are very less. The ticket collection system could have been made way better. Management issues are there within the staff whenever there's a big crowd. Ticket prices are as follows, below 15 years Indian nationals don't need tickets. For above 15 years Indian nationals have to pay 25 rupees. Foreign nationals need to pay 300 rupees.

If you are in pune and wants to something historical. This Is the place for you. They promote it as most haunted place but nothing like that. You can explore the place in like 2 hours. Awesome food outside this waiting for you. NOTE: Carry a water bottle with you.

A must visit historical monument, the great seat of Peshwas, in the center of the Pune city. Many people suggested me that there is nothing to see here, but contrary to those suggestions, I found it very interesting. It still gives a glimpse of the life of those who lived here.

A good location to go. If one does not have much time to go, this location, which is in the middle of the city, might be added to the itinerary. A glimpse of the huge Peshawas is provided by the fort. The palace inside was destroyed by fire a long time ago, therefore the interiors don't have much to offer. Although one may navigate, one should exercise caution when doing so with children because there are no safety obstacles. There is plenty of room to expand the inside garden and improve the visitor experience. It is best to visit this location in the early morning or early evening as there are no shelters and it is an open area.The shop shuts at approximately 5.30 p.m.

Thw place was historical except the fact that it is surrounded by roads all around so you can expect it to be more crowded everywhere. Many fountains in the fort were not operated and the place looked a little dull when i visited (in April)I liked the place not only for it's beauty but for the way it's built, quite unique and curious.

I felt wonderful. Parking is the biggest problem here because I had to wait for almost an hour to park my car.

Its a great old heritage fort that was once tried to burned and kept on burning for a whole week. It was the capital of the peshwas, it’s a great spot for family visit you can come and visited the great architectural miracle of the 18th century it is located near the PMC Metro station and there are many spots to eat near it also

Peaceful. Enough parking space forntwo wheeler. If one to wash their feet before entering the temple, they have got one on the left side of the entrance. Offices are present outside temple for devotees to choose the offerings to the god. Specify footwear stand is also there. Request to use the same. Because people leave their footwear all around. People should also be quite inside the temple unfortunately it was found lodly speaking around.

This is one of the best South Indian temples in Pune. I love how it has retained an antique touch to the temple and has not revamped everything by making it modern. It is similar a temple complex as many gods idols are there. It is spacious. It is a peaceful place to go, sit and meditate and have peace of mind apart from getting darshan of the God Himself.

Partial to Iyengar community. But the temple was built with money from all community. Archakas are young and arrogant. No consideration for senior citizens. I booked for sahasranamam archana. Paid money. Told me to come in long queue.. Knowing their attitude, I didn't want to go for archana. They insisted that, Along with prasadam, I must go for sahasranamam. If you are Iyengar, you are treated well. Please have darshan and pray. That's fine. .That is enough

Darshan Museum is a must visit place. It's beautiful inside and I can see that a lot of hard work has been put into creating this museum. Visiting this place is free of cost. However, it is advisable to call there before visiting.

Darshan Museum, Sadhu Vaswani Road, Pune 😁 Multimedia museum with light and sound show on the spiritual teachings of Sadhu Vaswani, huge building of 10,000 sft and infrastructure, free entry, show duration around 45 minutes. I liked the 3D multimedia appearance of characters on stage, saw this technology for the first time.

It's something very amazing and different, as u walk through the life of Sadu Vasvani u will also c how modern technology is used to keep him alive through Audio Visual aid. Mesmerizing 3D holographic experience. No any entry or watching fee. Staff/Devotees are very polite and helpful. Very clean and neatly maintained. Need 1 and half hour to watch all different 8 parts. Last show begins at 5 PM.

Although the experience was not "life changing" as advertised, the 1.5 hours multi-room multi-media show was top notch using state of the art technologies. We haven't heard about the stories before and sure enjoyed it a lot.

The only minor inconvenience is that if you're arriving by car, you'll need to park in a parking area quite far from the temple itself. Blessed at ISKON temple. Recently visited to template. Place is very good with clean and very good collections of books. Saturday Sunday place was crowned and it's close time 1.00 AM to 4.00 PM Pay and park facilities was available but parking place was not good. Overall place was good.

We also had food at the restaurant touching the temple and the food was both tasty and good quality. Availability of parking is also appreciated but lack of directions made it difficult for car owners to find the right parking space. It was confusing

Cow feeding experience was very soothing. Lift for people who cannot take many stairs is also very appreciable thing to add to the temple. Food outside temple was also great. Absolutely beautiful temple..I had gone here for visiting Balaji temple and to my pleasant surprise the Balaji temple's entry is from inside of Lord Krishna's temple. Had a golden chance to be blessed by both the Bhagawans. Iskon temple Kondhwa is very silent and cool during weekdays so if you want peaceful darshan visit on weekends. The fragrance of the rose plants in the outskirts of the temple is very pleasing. The Prasad Shira was just Rs.30 and was very tasty. I also had a Govinda supreme pizza from canteen and it was loaded with goodies.. Very clean and hygienic..

Beautifully built and maintained temple. They should not allow people to click image of the idol, they should be strict about this. There are economical book stores and gift shops inside where you get good stuff. People are kind there. There is a Balaji temple also in the same premises.

It's one of the popular and worth the hype kind of one day monsoon gateaway near Mumbai. Basically a ghat which has a series of waterfalls (small and big) enroute to Pune/Ahmednagar from Murbad/Kalyan. You can park your vehicle aside on the road and enjoy the scenic picturesque beauty. Also there are multiple photography points to caputure the beautiful landscape of clouds covering the mountains in valley. There are multiple shops for Maggi and Tea/Coffee. To stayover there are multiple resorts nearby and network over here can be an issue so please carry cash. Best time to visit is during monsoon and one may start early in the morning to avoid crowd. It might be a dissappointment if it's sunny so better to check weather forecast before heading out to this place.

Must visit place in monsoon. A place is covered by mountains from all 4 sides. There are lot of small stripes of waterfall down from the mountain which creates beautiful scenes. There are lot pf monkeys also, Unharmful though.

This is located on the route from Kalyan to Ahmednagar, little after Murbad. Please note this road is only 2 lanes through out, one carriage way each side. Superb place. Amazing ghat road. No traffic like the Mumbai - Pune route. Travelled in Dec... this place would be heaven on earth in the rainy season. The roads have been great for most part. There are 3 or 4 points where you can wait and take pictures. Clearly marked out, has some parking space and amazing views. You can get maggie / lemon sharbat / tea here. Before and after the ghat there are enough restaurants.

Anyone could fall in love with the amazing views of malshej ghat. Although to reach there it's quite difficult and risky specially in rainy season traveling by road gets more difficult. But with precautions and safety, the nature lovers can come and enjoy this beautiful views of mother nature in all angles. You get to see the roads to heaven which surrounds itself with a greenary of mountains, small waterfalls, rivers throughout the malshej. From tourism management we have photo points everywhere throughout malshej to click pictures and enjoy the best view from best points. also we can have a snacks at top hill point with varities of Maggie, bajji, chai etc.

Great place for one day trip, best time to visit rainy season and winter season, but be careful while driving, roads are risky and be aware of wild animals, best thing to try masala Maggi and boiled corn

Best ghat to visit in any time of year. But it's best when you visit in Mansoon season. A curvy roads and small tiny tunnel in ghat. A nature lover as well as riders both can enjoy the view as well as driving. This ghat connect kalyan to ahmednagar, pune, aurangabad.

Ghat is amazing and also preserved by government of Maharashtra. Cops are available everywhere and everytime. Although it's a good place for those who love mountains but also with traffic. Weekends can be chaotic.

This is a must place to visit in monsoon possibly with your own vehicle. But make sure before visiting that the Ghat is not closed due to landslides. We have visited number of times, but again visited on 1st July-2023. The climate was pleasant, excitement starts the moment you cross Murbad. Taking halt on ghat at various places to enjoy waterfalls and getting wet in it is a common activity. Eating street foods like Bhajias, Maggi, Omelette, corn with tea adds feather to the cap. Final destination is MTDC resort point and having lunch etc at Flamingo Restaurant. We were walking in the clouds and visibility was nothing beyond 15/20 feet. If there are no clouds, you can see a reverse waterfall from here. Overall a experience not to be missed. Precautions: Do not carry any alcoholic beverages, there is always a Police check and alcohol is not allowed. Be careful when you go under waterfalls and or enter springs as stones are slippery.

Road on ghat are a treat for drivers and riders. Good view esply during rainy and winter season. Roads need to be in good conditions, but its better than my previous visit.

Monsoon is the best season to visit this place. This Ghat is full of fresh nature.While going ,you will come across many waterfalls.After a certain point it becomes little riskier to go up hence it is advisable to ask local people or police.

Must visit place for nature lovers. All Your fantasies of waterfalls will be met. There is no long Trek to waterfalls as some even drop literally on the road itself cleaning the vehicle for free. Sundays are really crowded. My advice is to avoid it. All kinds of waterfalls are present. There is even a reverse waterfall where due to heavy wind water never reaches the ground but is swept away by wind. Truly mesmerizing scene to watch if you have never seen one before. Some waterfalls have steel barbed wires stopping any stones from falling. My advice is to go to such waterfalls to get wet and enjoy the water. Parking is not an issue for both cars and bikes. A large number of restaurants are available. Roadside eateries selling tea, Maggie, corn and whatnot are plenty in number that too at a very reasonable price. You can't count the total number of waterfalls as there are really too many of them in all shapes and sizes. Kids , old and young everyone will enjoy.

Really need to understand our traditions and this place is definitely makes it happen. However, ticket prices (100rs) are on higher side and on top for mobile photography 100rs extra is too much. But they are maintaining well and deserve at least for ticket prices. It has 3 floors to explore and has reasonable ventilation with washroom facility. One of the place in Pune which is not to be missed.

Loved it, very clean, not much crowded. Houses artifact from all over India of different century. By far, this is one of the best mueseum in Pune. Getting parking is difficult as its peth area with narrow lanes. Has clean bathroom. Multiple floors dedicated to stone, wooden, ivory, fabric and one floor for Mastani Mahal. One can also buy souvenir such as books, canvas paintings, fridge magnets, books and cds. Sign boards are placed everywhere for easy navigation inside premises.

Best museum! In this museum you will see 18th & 19th century's art, jwellery, clothes, painting, buddha murti, Ganesh Murti, sword, shield, lots of things kept in this museum. This museum content 3 level from ground floor to last floor you will get idea of many more things of 18th and 19century

Nice museum. It's well maintained. The museum has 3 floors. You can see all things such as old utensils, clothes, artifacts, ornaments, decorative doors, windows, war equipments etc during the Maratha and Peshwa era. The ticket price is Rs. 100 for adults and Ra. 30 for children. They take an additional Rs. 100 charges for photography. We like the museum.

It is a very nice place to visit. If you visit the museum of Raja Kelkar, you will be amazed. Very old, antic and rare collections are there. It is very well organised and managed by the authority. It is divided in A and B wings. You can buy tickets at counter. You will have to pay charges for mobile photography. Lift is there to go upstairs. You can get very good collection of old Idols, Furniture, Ornaments, Cloths, Musical instruments etc. Must visit.

The area doesn't look huge. It's located in a narrow lane where parking is an issue. But forget all that. Once you step inside you'll discover a whole world of amazing idols, historic objects, ancient paintings, musical instruments and much much more. It closes at 5.30 pm and the ticket is Rs 100/- for adults. We reached around 4.00 pm and had one hour time with us. We thought we'll easily see it all, but by 5.00 pm we realised we had to rush through the last 3 sections and needed 30 more minutes to fully see and appreciate the amazing collection by Raja Dinkar Kelkar. A must visit!

Raja Dinkar Museum is an amazing place to visit while you are in Pune. It gives a detailed information about the heritage, culture, music about the city and state of Maharashtra. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Parking space is not available. Be careful while you park the vehicle in any of the nearby place. Entry ticket Price is Rs 100/ adult. Rs 100/camera to use the mobile phone or camera. Ticket Price are very affordable and justified once you have a look around the well maintained premises.

I have seen the items which was used in 18th & 19th century. Appreciated for Alignment of the items is such a way that it can easily see for everyone. My suggestion is for ticket rates are too high for person as well as for photo mobile. If charge nominal rates, then it will be beneficial for everyone to see the museum. I would recommend to see the museum and learn the things that our previous generation was used.

You would love to visit the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum. They stored many historical items which are displayed for everyone but you must pay a minimal entry fee to enjoy those.

It's a very well-curated museum. There's no air conditioning. No parking as well. Ticket for Indians is Rs.100 pp. No phone recording or photography allowed. The museum is almost empty at any time of the day. More than a museum it's just a building with artifacts. There is no specific activity for visitors or guided tours or pamphlets. This museum needs to hire a curator to make it mindful.

This biggest Japanese lawn is extraordinarily nicely-developed and prepared with bushes and flowering plant life. site visitors can see the garden panorama. visitors are not allowed to walk on the lawn. The lawn may be very stunning and easy and has a herbal glide of water from the canal which keeps the water of ponds easy. Waterfall, ponds, artificial hillocks, and the woodland will become a massive appeal of Okayama lawn. while taking pictures and selfies on the bridges you may see exclusive varieties of vivid purple, orange-colored fishes Entry ticket fee is rs. 5 for all above 3 yr old. There are 3 distinct parks inside big compound. 2 of them have rs. 5 entry fee while kids play area is free to enter. Timing: 6-11 am, 4-8 pm. Tickets not issued before 30 min of closing. Very nice place to hangout with friends & family. Garden is beautifully designed having lots of space to sit & have fun. I felt there must be flowers to enhance the beauty of garden. There is sufficient space for parking & note that dogs & pet animals are not allowed inside the garden..There is no accessibility for wheel chair as well..no snack point so bring out your own.

It is a really nice place to spend some quality time with loved ones. I have visited this place for the very first time. It is really eye catching and i am sure You'll not regret it. I wanted to spend some more time, but due to the limited time I had to go. However, i did enjoy and i also saw rainbow and it was really epic. I'll go there again soon. The timings are morning 6 to 10 and in evening 4 to 8. You need to pay 5 ₹for each.

Wonderful garden, very well maintained, nice to walk around and enjoy with family & friends. It’s nice for refreshing walk in lush green garden with water stream around to feel cool. You’re not allowed to sit or walk in lawns nor allowed to take any food items inside to have picnic but there are seat out benches in between to rest.

One of the most beautiful gardens in India I will say. So peaceful and beautiful to look at. Garden is very big. Whole structure is well designed. There is a small hill also which gives a fantastic view of this garden. Best part is the place made where you can sit and put your feet in flowing water.

It's made like Japanese Gardens. It's very beautiful and a perfectly proportioned garden. If you want peace and very calm place, this is the best place you can visit. A small hill and bridges built on the stream make it fun for kids to run around. Beautiful scenic locations to click pictures and build wonderful memories. It is open in the mornings and evenings. Evening is the best time to visit. Best for few hour picnics. Located in a crowded location and off a busy road.

Visited this place on a Sunday in the evening around 5 pm. Be prepared for a long queue if you are planning to visit during this time. The place was heavily crowded, yet you can find some corners in the garden which is less crowded. Although it is mentioned not to walk on lawns, you will find plenty of people walking on the lawn. There are lady cops who keep patrolling and asking visitors to step out of the lawns. Overall a good place to spend some time. The entry fee is just Rs 5. You will find a lot of zones to take good pictures. I think if you are coming to Pune and have some time to kill, then you should surely visit this place.

I love going to Okayama Garden for peaceful walks and chats. It's our favorite spot for cute photo sessions because every corner offers a new and beautiful background for pictures. The garden is well-maintained and really photogenic. Just a heads up, it can get crowded on weekends, and it's open from 8 AM to 11am then from 4 PM to 8 PM. Remember not to walk on the grass as it's not allowed, and you can't bring food into the garden either. Despite these rules, it's still a perfect place to spend time and enjoy nature.

Only thing which I felt is the entry fees should be around 50 rupees ( currently its 5 rupees ) because public which is entering is not following rules. Kids were playing in water and that was too bad. Otherwise everything is good.

I loved this garden. I went there in the morning and the fresh air, the sunlight made it perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing. But it's very crowded in the evenings, tho!

Small but totally worth it. Saw some really huge snakes. Saw both white tiger and yellow tiger roaming playing unlike seeing them sleeping in most of the zoos. Even the leopards were running around. Loved it. Slightly lesser birds in zoo.

Good option for kids for 2 hrs, but need major maintenance. Animals are limited, tiger, lion, deers, snakes and white tiger. Need to walk a lot. Better take electric vehicle ticket if want to avoid walking.

Large zoo spread across having area of 130 acres . Lake is located in zoo area . Ticket for adults 40 ₹ per person and 10 ₹ per child above 3 years . Electric carts are available at same price ticket which needs to be purchased separately inside. 4 carts are available which can be crowded at times . Cart timings are from 10 to 5 pm . Cart ride takes 30-40 minutes . You can visit snake park located in zoo . It has different 🐍 snake species, turtles 🐢 tortoise and crocodile 🐊.Other enclosures houses deer 🦌, Sambhar ,nilgai , sloth 🐻 bear , Indian giant 🐿️ squirrel, wild 🐈 cat , leopard 😺 cat , peacock 🦚 , vultures, elephant 🐘 , lion 🦁, white tiger 🐯 and many more. There are washroom in zoo area . Parking available on street or at nearby parking lot . Snack stalls outside zoo . All tickets can be purchased in cash only no online payment modes which needs to be added. You must have atleast 2-3 hours to see zoo .

Nice place to visit.. Visiting early in the morning (9:30) is recommended as Animals prefer to be in sheds during afternoon time due to heat! You can carry food inside too.. You can find the toilets inside;however carry your own hand wash/paper soap.

Awesome small trip destination. But go early in the morning on these days so all animals can see near you. Whenever you go then ply go first to see Tiger and Lion then only visit the snake side. They arrange electric carts for roaming within the zoo. Timing for Zoo is 9.30 to 5.30.

One of the best zoological park in the country. Must visit with family and kids. The snake part was the great attraction there, different species of snakes one can observe. Overall it's a great park to visit. You will see many animals there viz tiger, lion, elephant, leopard, wolf, snakes, birds etc. Weekdays are with less crowd, on weekend it is heavy crowded. Tickets you can there on the counter itself. One must not carry plastic water bottles or they will charge you with extra money.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting a vibrant and captivating zoo that left me in awe. The zoo housed a myriad of animals, including both **venomous and non-venomous snakes**, showcasing their intricate beauty and fascinating behavior. Reptiles like **crocodiles, alligators, and tortoises** gracefully inhabited their enclosures, while **vultures, peacocks, owls, and kites** showcased their majestic feathers. The presence of diverse cat varieties, such as the elusive **jungle cat**, added to the allure of the zoo, alongside the adorable **mountain squirrels** and the mighty **sloth bears**. The photogenic **leopards and tigers** stole the show, captivating visitors with their majestic presence. The zoo also boasted residents like **wolves, jackals, elephants**, and a plethora of other fascinating creatures, making it a truly remarkable and memorable experience.

Visited after almost many years and the place is far better and clean.Saw every other animal mentioned in map including lion,wolf,tiger and leopard. 🦁🐯🦊🦌🐯 I visited during morning and almost all wild animal were seen playing later they went to rest during afternoon. Nice place where children can see the animals which they have never seen in real. Please carry cash as they didn't had google pay option when i visited also they have car to travel inside which cost 40₹ per person, this ticket counter also needed cash or else you have to walk to much. If you carry water bottle you have to give deposit of ₹10 per bottle which you will get back when you show the bottles while going Out. Please try to come early else you will not get the parking in parking station.

I have visited this place on Saturday at 10.30 AM, fortunately there was no rush at all at the ticket counter. I would suggest to go early in the morning to avoid queue for tickets. Parking is besides the bus stop which is prior to the zoo park. The ticket is just 40 rs for adults. You get so many animals and snakes to see inside this zoo at such a low cost. If you see the entire zoo by walking then it takes around 2hrs to cover, but there are benches placed where you can take a rest. If you are young then I would suggest to go by walking so you get enough time to see the animals as per your ease. Overall a very nice place to visit with your kids.

It was a great experience. Got to see many wild animals in real. Very good place especially for the kids, every parent must their kids to this amazing place. Seeing tiger in real was just an mesmerizing moment for me. E bus service is also available or else you can simply walk and explore the place.

Diverse Wildlife can be seen here and the park is quite big so bringing friends and families along with kids is ideal as well. The navigation inside the parks can be improved as it is a big park so directions at every corner can be helpful as most of the park is under construction/renovation.

The park is constantly being upgraded. But right now the park is very well managed. It is a long journey from snake park to elephants. They have started electric vehicles for public convenience. You have to take a ticket first. I suggest taking a ticket as soon as you enter the park

Hello friends, during my recent visit to Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, I had a wonderful experience. First, I bought the tickets, which cost Rs.30/person. Upon entering the park, I noticed that it was filled with lush greenery. My first stop was the snake enclosure, where I observed various types of snakes such as Naag, Dhamin, Cobra's, and more. All these snakes were safely placed inside glass boxes, allowing visitors to have a close look at them while being protected. Afterward, I proceeded to explore the diverse range of animals and birds in the park. Although the number of birds was relatively low, there was a wide variety of animals. I had the opportunity to observe tigers, elephants, foxes, and many more animals up close. The entire visit lasted approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. For convenient mobility within the park, cars are available for transportation. Overall, my experience at Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park was incredibly amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an enjoyable time. So, I invite you to come and visit the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park located in Katraj, Pune.

Nice place to visit with family. Kids will love to watch the cute animals. Must visit place for kids. Bus option is also available to roam inside the premises of zoo. Personal electric vehicle can also be hired.

Great place to spend time with family and kids. Lots of animals. We were lucky enough to see the Lion, Bengal tiger and whiter tiger. Battery operated vehicles are available for 40 es each. And it takes approx 40-50 minutes to complete the visit. Plastics are not allowed inside. Washroom and water facilities are available but you should take food items with you or else can buy from outside.

The Zoo is great. We recommend that you first visit the main zoo and keep the snake park at last. Carry lots of fluids and food. The animals are great the sad part is the elephants were chained. Sharing a few photos.

Great place to spend Sundays! This actual zoo offers a variety of animals to watch. Children would love it, as they can see lots of wild animals roaming freely in their cage areas. The animals have plenty of space to stay happily. The ticket cost for adults is ₹40, and there is an option to book tickets online on their website, eliminating the need to stand in a queue for purchasing tickets.

Good Park to visit on weekends. We can see lots of Animals including Lion and Tiger. You can spend a full day with family here. There was a long queue for tickets. They offer paid bus service for internal rides which should be bought at the ticket counter only. There was no canteen or hotel inside the park. They have paid parking available but it's getting very hard. You have to park a car in the opposite paid parking lot. Must visit this park once.

The day we visited was republic day so the crowd was much more than usual, besides that it is just nice strolling around here, looking at animals and relaxing for a bit. As the zoo is quite huge, you will surely need to walk a lot, so be prepared for it (estimated walk: min 5 km). If you cannot, there is availability of electric vehicle, which gives you a nice tour, but I really recommend you to buckle up and explore. You'll be amazed how awesome the tiger and the lion looks especially! Recommended if you're curious, not for you if you hate walking great 7.3/10

A really nice place to come with friends, family or even a date. When it comes to zoos I always prefer to look at how the animals are treated rather than the experience as a visitor. I remember some turtles were kept in some pretty dirty tanks which was not nice to see. A lot of the other animals were kept in seemingly good conditions. As a visitor, it was definitely a good time. The zoo offers a look at a variety of different animals and offers a lot of knowledge on them all which was an interesting read. The highlights are definitely the big cats like the lion and tigers. Hearing a lion growl was one of the best real life experiences, you could feel it in your soul. Definitely visit this place on a weekday, it gets very full on weekends. I wish I could rate it a 4 but just because of some of the conditions of the tanks for the reptiles, I can't give it more than a three.

Great tourist attraction, right in the middle of the city. The reptile arena & Snake park is the best part of the zoo. Other animals like lion, tiger & elephants are kept in separate enclaves at some distance to each other. It was a wonderful experience. The entire zoo can be covered in 2 hours. Battery operated vehicles, driven by the zoo staff, are available for a nominal charge. Carry water in your own home bottles, there's an additional deposit if you have plastic disposables. The management has taken great efforts to maintain cleanliness & discipline. Great for children and family groups.

The enclosure of lion and tigers is very small, the enclosure of deer had no grass, and just dry leaves. 22 out of the 46animals mentioned in their map are “proposed animals”. There are very few boards inside the zoo. The area lacks greenery and had soo much polluted air due to the ongoing construction in the zoo. Snake park is good with many species and information boards. Overall 2/5, the ticket is too cheap (₹40 for adults) so it is value for money.

Still lot of renovation work going on. Tiger, Leopard and Lion are preserved here. Elephant also there at the end. Good collection of Snake exist at Snake Park. Best part is Drinking water and Toilet facilities available throughout the zoo. .

If you love animals then you must go to the zoo once with your family. The zoo is very big so go after having breakfast because inside you will only get the washroom and drinking water. To go inside, you will have to pay Rs 40 and a separate charge will have to be paid for taking photos with a photography camera. My traveling experience was very good. 🙂
