It's worthwhile to visit this place. You can spend 2-3 hours here depending on how interested you are in aircraft and Canadian aeronautics history. Kids can also have some fun as they get to sit in the cockpit of real fighter planes and if you are 12 and above they have a flight simulator as well.

Girlfriend took me here for a visit. It was a great experience overall. It's beautiful and a true staple of real world history. The volunteer guides are also great and provide you with a great deal of knowledge and expertise. The older gentleman, Mr. Alex, in particular was great and really enthusiastic to share his knowledge of the place and the history attached to it. They even let you sit on some of the planes and when the weather is good, you can fly in them.

It's quite fun for everyone. Kids really enjoyed it, and so did I, but kids need more interactive stuff for kids to do and be more interested and aware of the history of these beautiful planes and the magnificent people and what this country has done for the people. also more information about all the planes, like guides telling people about what aircraft they are admiring and information about it. I found that alot of staff were just standing around or sitting around talking to each other and not actually doing anything like answering questions.

This has been the most amazing experience I’ve ever been to in Canada. Every single person that works there interacted with nothing with positivity and love and care about the place and also educated. I won hundred percent recommend this place but also to bring your kids to teach them. Thank you for an amazing tour and I cannot wait to go back again.

This place is always fun. Lots of classic planes and the staff are friendly and always willing to provide information. We have never done it, but they also offer paid flights on classic aircraft which would be awesome. There is a good selection of classic warplanes and training aircraft. Well curated with lots of info on displays. The Lancaster is so impressive up close.

This is one of the absolute best things to do in Hamilton. It's a fascinating look at the aviation technologies and hardware throughout the RCAF history, and to be able to get a good look and information about the planes. The staff is VERY knowledgeble and also very friendly. You can book flights on some of the historic planes, but we chose not to. Also on dry days there are some other planes outside the building, we missed out as we were visiting during a downpour. A great place to take kids too.

Probably one of my favourite places to visit; I go often alone just cause I’m fascinated. Last time; they had vintage wheels and wings, which was super fun! Definitely recommend checking this place out; there’s so much to see at the museum as well!

Excellent! We were met at the entrance by Mr. Tony Houghton, a volunteer at the Museum who guided us around the Museum for a couple of hours. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The boys, aged 4 and 8, enjoyed his attention to take them on a private tour of numerous planes where they could sit in the cockpits; and, he provided them with interesting and fun facts about the planes. We also enjoyed our lunch at the Museum’s Runway Cafe. The Museum is well-kept, the volunteer staff is courteous and the historic planes a must-see! We recommend this as a great place to bring kids of all ages, especially on a rainy day.

Nice museum a bit smaller than expected. The gift shop is pretty good, there’s a runway cafe you can eat and if you’re lucky you may get to see planes taking off / landing. The key part of the museum is you get to sit in the cockpit of about 3 planes… that’s pretty cool.

It’s a lovely museum. I would say for plane enthusiasts and those interested in the history of Canada’s war efforts, this place is amazing. The staff are doing a great job restoring the old planes and the guides are very knowledgeable. For the average person it’s worth a visit.

This place is next level. It went beyond expectations. Service was so good everyone was so polite and welcoming. It has a great history pilot was so experienced they explained everything in detail. My son enjoyed this place very much he use to point aeroplanes in sky, he was excited to sit in one. Overall we had a great family time together here. In summer we are going for a ride in one of the plains. Enjoy your visit.

The Canadian Warplanes Heritage museum is a fantastic place to go to. Seeing these vintage aircraft on display is amazing. The hangar is full of Canadian military aviation history that everyone should go and see. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and have lots of stories about the history of these aircraft. The hangar is very clean and you can even go for a ride in one of their vintage aircraft. You can jump into the pilot seat of some display aircraft, look at the avionics instruments, learn about aircraft technology, like engines/ ejection seats/ armament, and see how museum staff and volunteers are restoring these vintage aircraft back into an airworthy condition. You may like seeing the beautiful art pinups girls or wacky characters that was painted on the aircraft's nose to boost morale of airmen and airwomen who served in Canada's armed forces. I loved going here and you will too. If you like my reviews, videos or photos let your thumb soar high in the sky.

A truly outstanding area, so unique and rich with history. There is something special about this museum, the volunteers who work here are full with enthusiasm about the planes. This is a fantastic learning experience for all tourists or enthusiasts in the local area. I definitely recommend this place. Big thanks to Rick and the Scottish gentleman (sorry, I didn’t get his name) who educated me on the history on the lancaster plane and many others. Amazing.

Amazing museum, a must visit! And they are extremely sweet and helpful. They give u ana amazing tour and tell h stories of how the planes went through the war and were rebuilt. The cafe too is really nice good portions very wel priced. Lastly you also get to sit in 3 of the planes. It’s a very cool experience! And they have a flight simulator too. Must go with kids.

You will enjoy your time here if you like airplanes and history. You will learn a lot from these airplanes. Some are still air worthy and some are just for display. You can also go up to the cockpit of certain airplanes. If you really like to experience flying with these vintage airplanes, you can buy a flight from 20-60 minutes depending on the aircraft. Check their website for details. Don't forget to check their gift shop on your way out.

My son and I visited in June 2023 and absolutely loved it! Great staff and a beautiful collection of aircraft inside and outside. Well stocked gift shop. Going again soon! I'm a ham but nobody was in the radio room, maybe next time!

I visited this museum with my 20 month old who's into planes. He loved watching them. And I personally loved learning a lot about Canadian planes. It's a fascinating place with friendly staff.

It's always fun visiting the Warplane Heritage Museum on a rainy day. They have loads of aircraft used by the Canadian military from World War II and later. If you're lucky, you can see the engineers working on the aircraft, you can walk around the hangar, step aboard a few of the planes, and in the spring to autumn months even pay for a flight on one of the classic aircraft. They have a cafe onsite if you're hungry, and also flight simulators if you are interested. Great for young children.

Our kid would love to provide his review on his amazing experience on Saturday , Feb 17 ( over the Family Day Weekend ) at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum . I visited Canadian Warplane Heritage museum during the Family Day weekend in 2024. The place was busy and lots of families were visiting. They had lots of things to do and a ton of planes . The gift shop was near the entrance and was very big . There was quite a few build up airplane models to choose from . I picked an F-119 model. There was an astronaut session followed by autograph line up . The various country flags displayed at this centre denoted the countries participated in receiving training in flying. I came across a model of a plane showcasing how and where it carry’s its missiles on the plane. Also, I got a chance to hop onto a passenger plane which on warmer weathers takes flight. I saw the cockpit . It had loads of navigation related set ups . This plane takes a round of Niagara Falls at 35,000 ft height . There was also a giant inflatable planetarium . It took me on a ride to the moon also explains how the craters are formed and every few million years lava arises from inside of the moon . Overall the experience was really good . The only issue was parking was full and we parked in the over flow parking area. The staff were very nice and explained how the planes worked . Kuddos to the team for organizing such an exciting experience . If you are 12 years and above you could also take part - Flyzone at Canadian Warplane Heritage museum . I look forward to this next year as well !!

I recently visited the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were immersed in the rich history of Canada's aviation contributions during WWII. The highlight of the visit was definitely having a tour guide. Their passionate storytelling brought the planes to life and moved us emotionally with tales of bravery and sacrifice. Learning about the restoration efforts behind each plane added another layer of appreciation for the museum's dedication to preserving history. Without a doubt, this museum is a must-see for anyone interested in aviation or WWII history. Highly recommended!

My scout group spent the night during the museum’s Night-Op event and had a blast. Well restored and maintained war planes; knowledgeable and passionate volunteers and staff made the visit fun and educational. Plenty of free parking.

Such a fun and informative museum. This Museum featuring dozens of Canadian military planes, plus aviation exhibits & flight simulators. The planes are beautifully restored. The exhibits are excellent, so much history, and so many great personal stories. A good experience for any age. Every single person that works there, interacted with nothing with positivity and love and care about the place and also educated.

What an incredible piece of history! Filled with accurate artifacts and furniture from the 1800s, the once largest house in Canada is sure to be a History-Loving-Tourists dream stop. Very affordable hour long guided tours with tour guides who have immense knowledge for even the toughest of history questions. Dozens of rooms to visit and endless sites to see. Be sure to go take a peek at the Kitchen Garden in the back as well, where they still garden with time period accuracy. A wonderful place to stop!

Awesome place to visit in both summer and winter. There are multiple hour long tours running all day. The house is beautiful, full of history and when you get to the servant quarters they give you a small treat to have (short bread). Lovely gardens and a military museum which is great for children to have fun in their discovery room. The gift shop is excellent with local goods for all types of people.

This is an interesting place to visit. There are so many rooms to see and history to think about. The only reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because the group is pretty big for the size of most of the rooms. For us, we had this group of 5 who thought it was their own personal tour. So they would take their time looking at the rooms and taking pictures while the rest of us would have to wait. Then the tour guide would start explaining the room before everyone was in. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Well worth the time effort drive and cost. Cameron showed us around the magnificent castle and he was dressed in clothes of the 1830s. The Castle is in excellent condition inside and out. A fine lady was dressed in the clothes of the same period cooking some excellent food of this period in history in the basement, which we were allowed to sample. A very important place that every Canadian and American needs to visit.

If you live nearby Hamilton, this is such a nice and interesting stop. You will need just to go to the Museum, around 1 hour and half. When you park, go directly to the Gift House and from there, they will check you in and you will start the tour at your arranged time. Our Tour Guide, Sapphire, was sooooo cheerful, knowledgeable and passionate that made our experience a great one. I visited with my elderly mother and I was delighted to see that there were enough chairs to seat between rooms. Be aware, that there are a couple of stairs that might be uncomfortable for an elderly person but I think this doesn’t mean it will disrupt your experience of the tour. Great experience in this “mini- Casa Loma” 😎 You can also access for free the military museum.

Their guided tour is amazing. It's every 20 minutes or so. The cute gift shop has water fountains and washrooms (for all) which are very much needed in hot days in the summer.

Dundurn Castle is so worth the visit (and only about $15/person)! The tour lasts about 1 hour. Parking is free. You'll have to book tickets online — but you might also be able to walk in and book in person (if it's not a busy day). You can also see (online) how many others have already booked for each tour guide sessions. We went at 2pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. Parking was easy. Our tour guide (Michael) was excellent! When we went, they also had a "cook" that gave us small shortbread squares. The castle itself feels like a big, old mansion — rather than a "castle". But it's still fascinating.

Absolutely amazing experience with a tour guide booked in advance, we're able to travel back in those times when Hamilton just started to emerge and establish as a newly built community. Having a tour guide at this place is absolutely necessary as you're going to learn a lot of facts and history, as well as all the questions answered. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to provide the best experience.

We did not enter the castle as it was late. The grounds were steeped in history and were breathtaking. The huge expanse of the sky, the lake down below, the rolling grasses, all made for a picturesque place to spend a day. We will surely visit again to explore the castle.

Great place for history lover to visit. You would understand how things worked back then and technically it was built before Canada became a country officially so it will give you a different perspective about life back then. Overall a great historical site and tour guide was really helpful.

Lots of history! Take a walk into the past and learn about this historic relic through the evolution of Canada. Well preserved, clean and original, I felt transported into the past. This is a guided tour but You get to tour the kitchen garden and military museum for free by yourself. The park is a beautiful place to picnic with family

We had the amazing opportunity of shooting some pictures for a wedding here. The castle’s neoclassical architecture and layout was absolutely beautiful and made for some stunning photos which the couple were pleased with. Would definitely recommend shooting here as a photographer for any wedding or engagement photos, it’s well worth the drive even if you live an hour or 2 out.

I visited here yesterday, I haven't been here since I was a kid in school. The tour I went on was great, the young woman guiding the tour was very informative, and answered everyone's questions. All the rooms were very nice, and displayed like they were frozen in time. I learned alot of new things about the history of the Castle, and the family associated with it. All the staff here were very friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend going here to learn some hamilton history, and it's a great tour.

Great experience, and I definitely remember visiting when in Hamilton. Only guided tours are allowed, so you can't go into the Castle on your own. But worth it. The tour takes about an hour and 20 mins. Very fun. We had a wonderful guide. The Castle has an interesting history, and lots of character. Our group was small, which I learned later we were lucky to have. Our friends had 12 in their group, and they said it was too crowded. We had 8, including 3 kids. Perfect size. I recommend checking if the kitchen is open, because it generally is and you get to taste some yummy things prepared in the Castle kitchen from old recipes. We all enjoyed the tour. I honestly recommend it.

Great day trip for family. Affordable tour that includes a kitchen demo. Staff are in period attire . Military museum and interesting kitchen garden that lets you smell and taste some fruits and herbs. Kids had fun playing in the military room and trying military clothes on the first floor. Great location for photoshoots. Saw some doing engagement shoots.

Wow! We went for a tour at Christmas and it was lovely to see it decorated. Much nicer than some of the estates I've toured in England. The basement was very impressive and the guide was great. Great gift shop with local crafts. Weird hours but worth making it work - give yourself atleast two hours. Will go back in summer to enjoy the grounds and garden.

Pretty cool place to tour. Not sure it is a "castle", more like McNabb's Mansion, but so be it. Fascinating to see how the wealthy lived so far back, almost 200 years now. Big place, so many rooms, nothing terribly large. Great staff, the guides really know their stuff and make it easy to understand and see how people would have lived. Fascinating family, didn't know that he was a pre-confederation equivalent of Prime Minister, and his daughter is an ancestor of Queen Camilla. Stuff you don't learn in school!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for a day picnic in summers, watching the season change in fall and winters too. Perfect spot for clicking memorable pictures, weddings and even first dates. It's a popular location for film shoots, particularly hallmark movies. This place has my heart.

A beautiful place, went here after hours just to hike the Dumdurn park and castle loop. Just under 3k and took about 30 minutes. The outside of the castle and surrounding building were beautiful.

Great History and brilliant architecture. During Christmas time the Castle is even grander. We went on the first day of Victorian Christmas in the month of November when it is a free tour. Rest of the times it's a paid tour.

Really impressive on the tour guide and the costumed staff gives a vivid picture of the world where a well-known family lived in 19 centuries. You may easily find historical traces of those modern housing facilities we use today such as toilets, bath tubs and even cabling system for internal communication.

My family isn't generally interested in war history but I thought this would be a nice educational way to spend an afternoon. It was a great experience! Youth under 17 free, a little under$5 for adults, free parking! It was an interesting tour, self guided but many staff located throughout ship to answer questions and share additional facts. There is also a small museum and gift shop. It was fun to climb ladders and see how the people would have lived in the ships. Located in a beautiful setting a well.

Great visit. Very inexpensive for entry fee. Tour is self directed but very easy to follow along. Great kids activity book to have them enjoy the visit too. Paid for the add-on guided tour and enjoyed learning about the ship’s armaments. Definitely recommend the tour for adults and families.

If you are into naval ships and it’s history this place is for you. We spend around one and half hours on the ship, the staff was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Canadian Navy, as some of them had served in Navy. Over all nice day activity.

Great place to visit. At the time of my visit covid restrictions were in place so some areas of the ship were off limits but it was still well worth the trip. You can get a real appreciation for the hardships our navy went threw in WWII and Korea. There are numerous friendly knowledgeable staff positioned around the ship to explain the history and features of the ship. Admission is ridiculously inexpensive and there is a nice gift / souvinir shop.

We love going here. It is an amazing part of Canadian history. Staff are friendly and provide lots of info. Staff are stationed throughout the ship to answer questions. The ship is well maintained and has info posters throughout. There is also a small park area for some shade. Lots of parking. Also has a museum and gift shop on site.

Absolutely fascinating place to visit. It's like stepping back in time. This WW2 vessel is the last of its kind. You can tour the ship on your own or have a guided tour. Do yourself a favor and visit this National Historic Site, you won't be disappointed.

I visited during the time HMCS Harry DeWolf spent docked along side Haida, so this is where the photos are from. If you are interested in Naval ships or history, this is a great way to spend a day. There is lots to learn about the ship, and its history.

The tour was amazing. Very informative. Actual military personnel giving details of the different areas on the ship. Some areas difficult for a person with mobility issues. Would differently recommend it to all Canadians to take the adventure. Great history lesson, Loved it!!

I was waiting for last two years to visit this historical place. Very well maintained, staff was very friendly and helpful to provide you information if you have any questions. There were volunteers who actually served for country and worked on actual working ship in navy who have gave us detailed guided engine tour. We wondered and amaze with the history of the ship and it was definitely worth to spend time here. Make sure you come with flexible clothing because there is lots of small area to go up and down with the standing ladders. Make sure about head and foot because of the low areas and bumps on the floor.

I honestly came to the Haida on a whim and the blue attraction sign on the highway. I didn't know what to expect and ended up having a great time. There's a lot of history here and it was great to be able to actually climb aboard. You have access to quite a lot of the ship, just mind your head and feet. And expect to climb a ladder or two. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Admission was all of$4.25. I took the go train down so I can't comment on parking.

Was the perfect Father's Day activity. There were some places blocked off, but the joy of seeing my husband back on her after 28 years was special. It has been worked on and kept up. Info plaques and little extras like plastic food made visuals interesting for new eyes. The staff were always chatty and asking if there were any questions they could answer. It's a must see. The mini museum/gift shop was also nice to visit.

Faith, service, courage, and honor are the tenants that the Canadian Navy holds dear. Each year thousands of brave men and women dedicate their lives to serving under this maritime service branch. Scratching your head wondering what things to do in honor of the Navy? I’m not typically one for museums and ships… but this was an incredible visit that blew me away. The museum Ship is laid out with tons of displays, some interactive, historical facts and exhibits and provides a chance to really explore the labyrinths of this vessel. The volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly, as they provide guidance on how to best experience the museum. I HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for something to do while in Hamilton. I highly recommend to visit with the family and childrens. Parking is free

A great way to get a concept of what a real ship is like. There's staff along the way to help answer questions. Was lucky to have been able to tour on Canada Day and see the 40MM boffin guns both fire. Blanks of course. They were fired at 2pm. Didn't ask if this is a regular thing but if you go on Canada Day in the future you can likely see the guns firing.

An overdue due visit to a great piece of Canadian Naval history. Great stories from some of the knowledgeable and friendly guides. It was a beautiful day to watch the guns fire and participate in the 80th anniversary celebration. It's great because it's outdoor and indoor and you can either do guided tours or walk around and explore on your own. Thank you!

Great area for a walk around and take a tour of the ship.

If you are in the area it’s definitely worth a visit. I was at the Royal Botanical garden and it started raining so I decided to visit! The staff was super helpful and if you are lucky you might even get to meet veterans and navy personnel. I’m 6’7 and had no problem walking around but you need to be aware that some spaces are small and not easy off access.

Beautiful waterfall, probably the biggest that Hamilton has to offer. You need to reserve a parking spot, so plan accordingly. Has a big park for kids to play, it also has a covered area for picnic.

Nice little waterfall in Hamilton Ontario. Reservations are required to access the conservation area. This location is not great for strollers but a short walk kids. We were able to see the falls from the top.

It's a nice little clean park with a waterfall and couple of bridges. Pricey entrance fee for this place. There is another waterfall (Tew Falls) and Dundas Peak about 15-20 min walk from here.

Took the “hush hush” route to the base and it was so worth it. Good flow, even during drought conditions. Beautiful views in the gorge while trekking to and from the falls.

The signs there were too confusing to read, can't even tell where you are and which way to go. Nice fall views, but can't even get close to see the fall. The trail is pretty short, can finish in 40min is you walk relatively fast.

It's a beautiful fall, but not worth the cost of entry and parking. The receptionist said that there is no way to go at the bottom of the fall from conservation area.

Entry ticket is almost $10 per person to this falls. It’s better to have a reservation for parking beforehand. It’s a good picnic spot. The falls is great though.

Nice and easy trails. Could not get good pictures of the fall colours because the line of sight was blocked, however the waterfall was amazing.

We got in a fabulous 10k challenging hike from Cascades Park in Dundas to both Sydenham and Webster's falls and back. The water wasn't the only thing falling on these trails.😀 🫣 With the high water levels, the trail was almost washed out in places with several trees down along our path. Parts of the trail were very narrow adjacent to some pretty major drops. Other areas were muddy, rocky and very slippery. 3 of us fell but fortunately weren't hurt too badly but the spectacular waterfalls the end of the trail were worth it!!

Absolutely Scenic waterfalls; Movie-like bridges Enjoyable trail; Good to take lots of memorable photos of nature! Full of butterflies in July, and of course flies that don't mind biting you 😉 Loved the whole experience!

$16 parking fee. Not really worth it. More of a park setting. Surrounding trails were better so value for money not so much

Beautiful and largest waterfall in Hamilton. You need to reserve a spot in advance to enjoy Webster Falls from May to November. Reservations are available for two-hour. On-site parking is limited to those with an online reservation only. (Strict fines in place for parking in prohibited areas.) So reserve your spot before planning a visit to this fall. But nowadays there is no access to the bottom of fall. There is just one small trail nearby. Walking on cobblestone bridge that crosses Spencer Creek. Not much to do or see here. $30 for 15 mins walk around the fenced falls and bridge is expensive. It was great in the past, but now everything is fenced and separate reservation is required to visit Tew Falls and Dundas Peak. Overall not worth the fees.

I paid 15.50 for a ticket at the gate. The gate would not open when scanning the ticket "invalid ticket" I purchased it from the box 2 inches to the left. I think not. The button for help wasn't any. The people on the other side did not open the gate they tried. It didn't work and then cut the call short. Mind you other people were in the park. They were leaving. There were no hours posted (we went at 4pm) and it happily took my money. I'm frustrated at Spencers gorge.

Beautiful spot to go in either the spring, summer or fall - would not recommend in the winter (no maintenance). This used to be a place you could go freely, wasn’t overly packed, and parking was cheap. Now - you have to make reservations, I believe they tell you it’s a 2-3 hour time slot and then you’re risking a ticket, it’s pricey for parking, and pretty crowded. However I do recommend this spot for photoshoots during weekday days (less busy), and the scenery makes for great photo ops!

This place offers an amazing opportunity to reconnect with nature and give the peace within. There are many hiking trails surrounded by vibrant vegetation. There is so much to explore that I felt like I wasn't prepared for it, I definitely recommend bringing fresh water and some snacks and don't forget to pickup your garbage.

great views and well kept trails. The loop took us an hour to walk at a calm pace with stops so its easy for many to do. Also having porta potty's on site is helpful.

The view was nice as long you knew where to take the photo, the directions to lead you to any Waterfall hikes was just awful, many were confused and didn't know where to look... I had trouble in finding this very Waterfall with a few friends...we managed to find a good spot to take photos only because we got recommended by other photographers that there was a good spot to take photos but you would have to risk and climb over the fences which says do not climb. We toke the risk but it was worth it. Ideally I wouldn't recommend people who have no experience in climbing down a cliff to do it... Because it could be dangerous

The forecast today called for moderate rain. I wanted to cancel my reservation but it was too late (You have to cancel at least 48hours before). So glad I was unable to cancel though. It had rained earlier in the day but there was no rain when we got there. The weather man is not always right. The Tew falls side trail is a moderately challenging hike. Lots of steep climbs at some points and because it rained, parts of the trail were quite slippery but overall it was a lovely hike which took us about 2 hours out and back. The high points of the trail are the Tew falls and Dundas peak lookout. Not much else beyond that. Things to note: 1. The Tew falls trail does not take you to the bottom of Tew falls. Getting there is via a different trail which is unmarked. 2. You need a reservation which gives you a 2 hour window. For 1 person you pay $26. 3. Portable restrooms are only available at the Harvest road end of the trail where the parking lot is.

We drove nearly 3 hours to see the falls. Tews falls is beautiful. Websters falls is further down the road and was also really nice. Almost every Porta potty was pretty gross with urine on the seats but that's to be expected, so not a bad idea to bring a pack of sanitary wipes with you for that purpose.

We visited Tew falls today.. And it’s not as it seems on google😅.. The trail to Dundas peak is beautiful though.. Lots of trees and nice scenic lookouts. Beware of mosquitoes 🦟😁Overall, it was nice three hours spent😊

Beautiful scenic walk beside the river to the Webster falls. In early April there were some early signs of spring flowers and greenery. It was only a little bit muddy. Can't wait to see it in other seasons. Enjoyed the historical elements of the walk and seeing all the evidence of some very busy beavers along the riverside!

Amazing experience. My kids loved it. Paid 31 cad for 2 kids and 2 adults. Hiking for around 2 hrs back to your car.

Nice short hike with some scenic overlooks. The trails are well maintained, and maps are included with admission. Toilet facilities are portapotties with hand sanitizer. Reservations not necessary except on certain holiday weekends that are listed on their website.

Best place to visiting for an evening walk. Sunset adds to the beauty of this place. It’s sad to see that the beach is closed here it could have been the cherry on top. Still a lot of action going around like kayaks, jet ski, fishing , cycling , jogging and more.

Nice, big park with some lovely water views. Pretty sure you could fish here. It's also very close to West Harbour GO station, which is convenient. There are public restrooms, but those are only open May-Nov, just FYI. There are also a few tents not too far from the park entrance - assuming there are people living in those on a semi-permanent basis, which makes the area feel a little sketchy.

If you’re looking for a park that offers everything! Look no more 😅. It is huge park with lots of picnic tables, a small beach, nearby playground, washrooms, ice cream truck, and more. Perfect for photo sessions. I would recommend visiting this and the adjacent park (Pier 4 Park), which is only a walking distance.

Excellent place to stroll along with your family and friends. Great walk with beautiful scenery. Lots of parking,great views of the boats in the water and the long waterfront trail create lots of scenic views. Nature and birds gazing at its best.

Cute park. It’s pretty small but the views are nice, plenty benches/picnic tables/rocks to sit for a while or picnic. They have food trucks sometimes too. Since such a big portion of the park is facing west, it’s a great place to catch the sunset.

We love walking our dog here. Lots of big open grass fields, water access, trails and restaurants to get refreshments and food. A beautiful place to bring family and spend time outside.

huge outdoor park. there’s paths for walking, running, jogging and biking. you’ll see people walking their dogs as well. great place to spend with family and friends. lots of events happen here during the summer. lots of parking space. one downside is that the public washrooms are filthy and gross. no upkeep whatsoever so keep that in mind. there is a tiny hutches nearby and usually one or two food trucks out but those are always overpriced. down by pier 4 i believe is where you’ll find william’s cafe and an ice cream shop as well as more green space and a skate park. great area for boating and being by the waters.

Most amazing place to do almost anything. Room for bikers, rollerbladers, and runners to enjoy a view while doing what they love. Lots of room for picnics and outings.

This park is beautiful and had a really good time with my family. We initially came here to have a barbecue and weren’t aware if we were allowed or not. So I asked a police officer and he said “Today is a beautiful day, go live a little”. After hearing that, we started barbecuing and no one stopped us or told us we couldn’t. This park also has lots of room to play certain things, we played badminton and frisbee and it was really enjoyable. The views of the lake were gorgeous and highly recommend to stay here for sunset. We also got caught in an intense thunderstorm which was definitely an experience

Bayfront Park in Hamilton is an absolute gem. The stunning waterfront views create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The well-maintained trails are perfect for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride. With its picnic areas and playgrounds, it's an ideal spot for families to enjoy quality time together. Highly recommended!

Visited during the late winter season. Minimum winter maintenance but really enjoyed the walk on the trail. Plenty of free parking is available. Suitable for a picnics by the lake. Will definitely be coming back in the summer.

What a view on a sunny day. As spring is coming we went to this park and enjoyed a lot. View was so mesmerizing. Along with trail lake is there which makes it perfect. A good place for friends get together and kid’s play. Ample space for kids to enjoy food and can have fun activities. Carry your own food to spend some time. A good place for jogging as well. I didn’t see toilets near by but yes car parking is available.

Great spot for festival or just to hangout! Especially on a nice summer day. There are a lot of picnic tables scattered around which is great.

Beautiful park, I am sure it is very scenic in every season. It is a very lovely location to spend time with family and to walk your dog. There is ample space for picnics in summer. It has a very large parking area. In summer, 1 of the parking lot is allotted to people with boats . I visited on a cool winter day and was enthralled by the birds poised on the frozen lake.

Beautiful views, friendly people and goose. Bike riding by rental is possible. Good to run by lakeside but cold after November. The wind is strong.

A serene Sunday evening walk and our first visit to this park. Loved the ambience. However would urge the picnic goers to dump their waste sensibly. It is our responsibility to keep the parks clean and hygienic for the kids. Such a lovely place with such great views. Please keep it that way.

Bayfront Park Hamilton is a great place to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. It has something for everyone, whether you like walking, cycling boating, or skating. You can explore the park and the Waterfront Trail and see the lake and the harbour. The park is also a great place to relax and have a picnic especially during summer. I highly recommend it

Great place to go for an adventurous hike. There is paid parking, but not too bad. You can easily get to the Punch Bowl Cross and lookout area. If you're feeling a longer hike, you can take the trail down the hill to get to the bottom of the Punch Bowl - obviously, dependent on time of year, water level, etc.

The Hamilton area is kind of an elephant grave yard for the most part, but places like this are awesome and special. The parking rate is kind of rigid given it's $7.50 for the day with no other options. There is a view point parking area further along the road if just stopping by for a short time is the goal. The waterfall / gorge area is pretty unique and quite a small adventure if inclined to explore the bottom. The giant lit up cross is ugly and looks really out of place, but some may like it. Please be careful near the top.

It’s a nice area to walk and enjoy the view of the Lake Ontario from above the mountains, but you cannot get close to the falls and it’s fenced off. You will pay $7.5 parking fee and you can only walk for 1.2 km. Or you can park your car in the limited parking spots and use the map given and go for a walk, but you won’t have the amazing view of the lake.

a beautiful view of the multi-colored rock layers, but now there is no waterfall. Might have to watch another season. there is an observation deck on the city and the lake. the lower part of the trail is open, but it makes no sense to go there without a waterfall. parking is paid, I don’t see the point in paying because there is no waterfall. should be at this timeis free.

Not 100% bad but is not like showing on the website pictures. No waterfalls. If you are lucky enough to find the trail, it can be a nice walking in nature. Parking is expensive and should be on the other side of the road too.

Really pretty during the summer, when it’s sunny out and if there’s water. A lot of the times it’ll be dry It can be difficult to get down there for some people I’d assume. The only real way to get down safely is walking at the side of the road, left side of the waterfall until you find an open path. That leads to the waterfalls bottom Also gotta pay for parking. Besides that, it’s pretty great

We came here to see the waterfalls with our family. There is also a nice view over Hamilton and the area. However, in 10 minutes, there is nothing to do. Parking is small, so it fills up quickly. You need to pay $8 for parking per car (not bad even if you stay 10-15 minutes) if you don't want to risk getting a $250 ticket. Overall ok but if you drive all the way from Toronto to see this, think of something else to fill your day.

An hour’s drive from Etobicoke leads you to Albion Falls. Hamilton houses several waterfalls in close vicinity and this fall though can’t be accessed closely is viewed better from two lookout points. Ample parking facilities. If time permits visit nearby falls too. Enjoy the small trail adjoining the falls site of half an hour to and fro. Though it doesn’t takes you to any falls, the exit at Devil’s cup bowl is interesting. Enjoy.

See the pic. That's all you can see, from that distance. Police present there. Not allowed to go beyond the view point. You get this or similar view from other points of the trail. The rating is as a tourist spot and not about mother nature's beautiful creations! Parking is limited but easily available as anyone who comes there just to view the falls (and not go for a hike) won't spend more than 5 min there.

This is a cute nature trail in Hamilton. There is parking at 3 locations along the trail. The falls are a short 5-15 minute walk from parking (depending where you park). It can get quite busy on weekends in the summer so make sure you come earlier to find parking, or come in the evening to watch the sun set from the escarpment!

We visited Albion Falls on a weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Despite it being a weekend, the place wasn’t crowded, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The observation deck provided a fantastic vantage point to watch the falls in all their glory. It’s a great place to spend some time, especially if you're looking to relax and take in the beauty of nature. The area was neat and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, there was ample parking available, which made the visit hassle-free right from the start. Highly recommend Albion Falls for anyone looking for a serene and beautiful spot to unwind.

Beautiful fall. Please be aware that access to fall has been closed from 2017 after multiple injuries and deaths near the fall. The pictures of the falls where people are near the falls are very old and the route to the falls are now closed for safety reasons. You can enjoy the view from lookout point and Parking is limited. It is a beautiful waterfall, and in summer & autumn, I believe it would look much more mesmerizing than it looked for us in spring. There is no public access to the base of waterfall, so one has to be content with views from viewing platform. You can park, in the parking lot, right at top of the fall and from there have a side view of the fall. Also, don’t forget to walk 2-3 minutes along the road to the lovers leap view point for the frontal view of the fall. There are many hiking trails around, which will finally take you down in the valley where the rive from the fall flows. For our hiking trip, the river crossing was the highlight of the day.

Fun trail with beautiful scenic outlooks of Albion Falls and Buttermilk Falls. Be aware if you bring young children, there are steep drops at some points on the trail with no fencing.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get too close to the waterfall and were only able to look at it from a distance. I must say it is still worth a visit if you are in the area and want a little break.

It’s a nice fall, but I think the season matters! We saw a smaller size fall from far. Good thing is parking available next to the look out, and almost no walking necessary. Very accessible for kids. We enjoyed the nice weather and greeneries around, there are some trail to walk more.

Was a nice quick stop and easy to see. Really nice waterfall just wish there was a way to get closer that was obviously not too dangerous or wouldn't get you into any trouble. Pretty big waterfall with a nice flow and I was able to find parking close by with no problem. I would for sure recommend you make the quick stop and are in passing. Especially if you enjoy seeing waterfalls!

Beautiful waterfall. Excellent views from the platforms at Albion lookout and from the Lover's Leap viewing area. Walking trails are suitable for all ages with terrific views of the falls and the gorge.

Gorgeous falls just wish others didn’t ruin it to go down and see it. Would be nice to see closer but still very beautiful. Need some lights on it at night like Niagara and it would be complete. Pictures say nothing to how it looks in person.

This spot is an absolute haven right now! Despite our arrival coinciding with less-than-perfect weather – all foggy and moody – we had a blast exploring the trail alongside the river and falls. Imagine the magic during summer! You've got to experience it yourself!

This place is great, and it's also close to other waterfalls if you're looking to see a bunch in one day. The falls are beautiful, and seeing 👀 them with the fall colors on the leaves 🍃 make it magical ✨️. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and we'll be back again.

Had hiked earlier (at Eramosa Karst Conservation Area) with a friend who is local (she lives 10 minutes away--so jealous!) to the area and she wanted to show me the lookout point. It was getting too late for us to spend another hour hiking here so we took in the view of the falls instead-- an absolutely beautiful sight and framed by the fall foliage. Will have to return to this spot for a hike.

Beautiful falls, with nice overlook points. Amazing autumn foliage in the background made for a wonderful view! There are hiking trails that I’m sure will eventually take you down to the base of the falls. It was good enough for me to see from on top tho.

Views, waterfalls and hikes are amazing! But beware during winter that there are no washrooms and trails can be super icy and not maintained despite still charging over $15 for parking

Go to Hilton Falls area instead, there is such more to do and beauty. At Tews Falls, the falls are completely dry (a sad sign of times), the hike is nice inside the forest hence, well, OK, and you are walking up to a point to see the train go by (which will not be a great photo on your cell phone). Try one of the many many other options in the area, and look beyond the Tews hype. You'll be delighted. (If you are a local, do go to Tews of course.)

Beautiful place to hike. On the way one can see the fall and can get an exposure to nature for sure. Place to have a good experience with friends. It’s a long track to explore. Signs are available to guide the way up and down. Just have to pay parking tickets. Would definitely enjoy it as summer activity. Quite picturesque

Nice waterfall with easy trail for Dundas peak. Just surprised that you have to pay 30 dollars for 2 parents with a child for 2 hours time slot. It's almost double compared any other Conservation area. In Provincial parks, you pay 15-20 for all day and it's included picnic areas, washrooms and way more hiking options. Here is only 3 ugly blue plastic, temporary washrooms and parking. And of cause "renovation " that recently was done by City of Hamilton - looks bad, unconsisted (found 6 (!) diffirent types of fencing) and uncompleted.

Tew Falls is well worth the drive from Toronto. This area is well kept with great trails and viewing platforms. There is a $35 entre fee but it is worth the money

Similar to the Fall next to it, advance ticket booking in 2-3 weeks is recommended for Fall, where you would get the best view. In winter, the and conveniently the only day it snowed when I visited, the tracks are not maintained and hiking to this place is not recommended, despite a short 5 min walk. The view is average and you have a lookout at a good height to capture some pictures.

Beautiful with the winter ice. We went last week and December parking requires no reservation and was $15. It costs more in the summer (an extra $5 per person) and you will need a reservation. There is a nice little hiking loop to Dundas Peak. It took us about an hour, plodding through the snow. I only gave 4 stars because of the cost. The falls in the area all charge quite a bit and some have a one hour limit, so seeing a few in a day will add up.

Pretty but not easily visible, particularly if there hasn't been much rain. Spring melt time or after a good rain are the best times to see the water flowing. It's very busy with people on the weekends and you still need to get parking reservations which sucks. Be aware since authorities know this, and they ticket a lot. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the falls, but it's really worth the extra walk to the 5 star Dundas Peak overlook.

Really awesome waterfall, especially during the winter as it does not freeze over. Definitely worth the hike here; you can enter the park through the parking lot (paid) or hike here through the Dundas Peak trail (that may take up to an hour one way). There's several look out points, two of which have platforms set up.

Gorgeous waterfall, and very close to the parking lot. Reservations are required on long weekends and you can only book one a day ahead. We didn't plan it, so reservations were closed already. Luckily, there were some parking spots and they allowed us to enter for a $31 fee. Unfortunately, the snack bar was closed and in general its only falls and a trail, no other facilities. So if you need a picnic table - better to consider the Christie Lake conservation area.

Nice place to visit. Shorter hike, few good views. Trail conditions are good. Nice cloudy day.Overlook falls nice. 1.2 miles to end peak, pretty easy hike, a little up and down, but mostly flat. Went in July.

Just a 10 minute long hike to get to see the highest waterfall in the city of Waterfalls! The lookout point at Dundas peak is such a stunner. Don’t miss out on the hike to Dundas peak from the Waterfalls. Cons: They charge you a $30 fee for two people including the reservation fee which is quite high as compared to other gorge hikes!

Great scenic view during fall season! The waterfall has different views at different seasons too. Make sure to purchase ticket online ahead of time during fall, as it is required and they don’t sell ticket at the gate.

Tiffany Falls are a must visit in each season. They completely freeze during the Winter and are lovely to visit; you can actually walk on the frozen stream. Recently visited them during Summer and they are as pretty. Definitely a must visit for anyone wanting to spend a few hours in nature. Lots of trails around. Parking is limited but can find parking around the area within a km radius.

10 walks from parking to the fall. $11 for parking. A very nice short trail which isn’t too steep. My mom has knee issues but still able to walk to the fall. I saw some people with strollers.

My visit to Tiffany Falls was delightful. The small parking area next to Wilson St E was convenient, albeit requiring a fee of 11 CAD paid through a machine at the path's entrance. The path itself was clean and well-maintained, offering a pleasant walk. It took around 10 minutes to reach the falls, passing through two bridges along the way. The air was fresh, and the scenery was beautiful, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Tiffany Falls is a great destination for nature lovers looking to enjoy some tranquility and natural beauty."

Great spot for pictures. Small hike, maybe 5-10min to the falls. We went early Saturday morning around 9am so it wasn't busy, maybe like 5 people at the time. But definitely would be a busy place later in the day. Paid parking is $11

5 minutes walk to reach the falls from the parking lot, slippery and icy yesterday February 20, 2024. We have spikes so we navigated easy, falls was half frozen. The falls is all by ourselves we enjoyed the scenery and the tranquility of the place. Paid 11 dollars for parking and there is a machine that accepts credit or debit, no cash. No washroom in the area we parked.

Short walk along a creek leading to a waterfall. It is quite peaceful and not physically challenging. The trail was muddy due to the wet conditions so I would recommend going on a dry day. For those who prefer a short walk, this trail will satisfy. I prefer something more challenging and longer but enjoyed the beauty and peaceful sound of the waterfall and surrounding woods. You do have to pay to park and there are only a few spots.

Truly an enjoyable experience to visit this falls located in Hamilton. The trail was a brief one leading to the falls. But the bridge along the way made for some memorable photos. The falls were small but in the landscape with the view was a beautiful sight. Had a great time visiting the area.

Went last Friday when it was not crowded.. just a few people.. a good small walk with young kids.. beautiful view of the falls and can take petty pictures

Just a short walk and well worth it. Strongly recommend bringing shoes you can take off. Once you get close to the falls, there's a small pond to enjoy. This is definitely a good place to do pictures. Or bring your loved ones great for kids. On a scale of 1 to 5 I would say that this is a 1 category 1. Extremely easy to navigate. Local municipality sure took their time to make this a nice place.

Short walk from parking lot. About 1/2km total (there and back). Well maintained bridges and viewing platform. The waterfall is stunning and with the exposed rock face surrounding them it's even better. It's on the Bruce trail and counts as a side trail. Must pay for parking.

This conservation area is truly beautiful, and was our favorite one of the weekend. The waterfall was also our favorite one, but we didn't get to see them all. It was amazing and we would love to go again 💯. The leaves 🍃 were perfect, and the falls were even better, especially with the conservation area. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! It's worth the small walk in an amazing place. Do it!

It's an OK spot, nice waterfall but the parking is pretty crowded. Btw, parking is CAD11, and tbh it's not worth the price. However, if you paid for the parking, it makes sense to visit Sherman Falls and Canterbury Falls as well. The entrance to this out-and-back trail starts across from the Tiffany Falls parking exit and is approx a 1,5 hr walk.

Nice and beautiful fall with short hike of around 10 mins. Looks great with fall colors. Parking is a bit pricey, 11$ for an hour parking.

This is a nice short trail to get to the falls. You can get in the water or stand close to the falls and feel the mist. The water level was low, so we sat on the log at the Base of the falls. Only $11. Parking fee to enjoy this beautiful area. We spent around 1 hour there, next time we will take a lunch. Remember if you pack it in take out your garbage please

It really is a nice quick stop for all you waterfall lovers! Plus within the area there are a few other waterfalls within walking distance or if you prefer you can drive over to other parking lots near the other trailheads. This water fall has the same name as my younger sister so always cool to kinda bring that person to front of mind. For sure photo worthy and a good time at no cost!

Gage park is such a lovely place in the city for all ages. Playgrounds and splash pad for the kids. Lots of room for sports and events. So many people out for walks or just a great place to have lunch in some nature. The free greenhouse is also a great place to see some beautiful flowers and take some stunning photos. Take a walk, run, ride or just sit by the iconic fountain at gage park.

Was at the park a couple of weeks ago for the Spring Bulb show at the greenhouse. I so appreciated and enjoyed the sights and senses of spring there! Wished then I can just bottled all of that to take them home with me!!! It seems there’s also a fall mums show, which is quite fantastic based on the pictures i saw of previous years. Definitely will need to remember to check it out. The tropical greenhouse was a delight to be in. Especially while the outside was windy and cold. Quite surprised though to see many homeless in the downtown areas but also many tents are in the park and near the greenhouse as well.

What a beautiful park! Unfortunately, We can’t review the Green House, and I would like to mention a few things. It’s os very green and lively. Very well maintained, everything was blooming and fruiting over there! And if you pay close attention, little birdies are hiding between the bushes - just adorable. Not to mention three sassy turtles hanging out in one rock! Great place to visit.

Absolutely beautiful place to breathe fresh air, see some fruits, and learn a lot from the signs posted. The tiny quails that live there are such a delight. I recommend this place to anyone, it is free!!! Expect to spend 1/2 hr here if you're super quick but I could see an hour being spent here. Benches and even tables with chairs are there if you wanted to read or sit.

A great place to spend the whole day with family and friends. A nice playground with swing area, splash pad, picnic table and whole wide ground to do tons of activities. They have free parking lot, washroom, a big stage for any concerts. A conservatory is in within the park that closes on 5 pm.

one of the most beautiful local parks. kept very clean for the most part, so spacious so you can take a longer walk if you wanted. Beautiful in all seasons and has many cool features like a rose garden and green house. i also like all the accessible pathways. Slowly getting taken up by tents in some areas so you might have to be careful alone at night. but during the day it’s so beautiful

It was well maintained but was bit crowded (Weekend Morning). Iconic fountain is always a delight to look at but you will see some homeless guys hanging out around the fountain as there are electrical sockets they use to charge their phones. (Not complaining, May god help them live better)

Great park, usually busy on a nice day. Holds lots of events throughout the year including the Friends Festival in August. Love going to the greenhouse for the mum and spring bulb show, definitely worth it! Beautiful rose garden and grounds too. Just be aware that this is not the best place to linger late at night or alone at night, there have been some sketchy things that have happened here.

Always here for their local events. Attended Festival of Friends this past August Long weekend and I must say this was one of the best festivals I’ve attended in a long time. Great music, great vendors and a top notch midway with rides and games for people of all ages.

Accidentally found this place, and it's so beautiful! The tropical greenhouse is a breath of fresh air and even has a corner with a take that you can work while enjoying the beauty. They even gave you the option of taking a tree home to plant for free. There are so many fun things to do with your family. The splash pad and playground are perfect for toddlers. It is next to the main road, so just be extra vigilant. Sufficient parking and more provided during their events. The rose garden is stunning! There is so much more to say, but i think you should see it for yourself.

Gage park is huge as far as city parks go. Alot to see and do here. Lots of free parking close to the green house. Perfect place to take an afternoon walk. Lots of people and dogs. They also have a playground and a fountain.

With the convenience of living down the street from it I am there twice a day with my dog, the wide Open Spaces to chase squirrels and plenty of trees to sniff. The fountain in just fantastic ! And the greenhouse is beyond beautiful . I believe that this place would truly benefit with a gated area for dogs so we can have them off leash and let them run without worry, only thing that I think could improve is to have more garbage cans throughout the park. I find there's plenty of them in the summer but as soon as fall comes around 75% of them are gone.

We took out mother here for the Spring Ride Bulb Show and we all absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful place. It was a bit crowded but we did go during March Break They had a market section where you can buy flowers, paint your own little pot, farmers markets etc. Will definitely ne making this an annual visit! The Greenhouse was beautiful as well.

Went here for the train to see it all lit up.. always best to get there early.. for anything & to watch out for ByLaw.. to make sure you are able to park or ask the homeowner(s) if u can park.. even offer them some money for parking.. always a good turn out at Gage Park for whatever events they put on!

Travelled to the park to watch the solar eclipse as it was a beautiful location. Great park with loads of activities to be a part of as well as a large area for the public to enjoy. The only downside is that the outdoor restrooms (possible other amenities) are only open during the warmer months.

Not sure why it took 9 years living in Hami, for me to visit AGH. It was absolutely a mind-blowing experience for me. Went there on Thursday, it was free and my eyes, my heart are still smiling from all the beautiful, amazing art I saw there, totally recommend and will definitely return for the longest ever work in progress aka the VW bus. Truly impressive. I learned a lot

I do not remember which day of the week I went but apparently one day of the week is free for everybody. So that was a very pleasant surprise. I was working on an exhibition review and I needed some inspiration so it was an impromptu visit and I I found some great finds at the gift shop. The staff is great as well. Over all an inspiring, educational and a very pleasant experience.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that it has been at least 15 years since last visiting AGH. So much missed opportunity. So glad we finally made an effort to stop in. Taking advantage of free admission available on Thursdays we spent several hours exploring the three exhibitions currently on level one (Wonder, میں اپنی ماں کی بیٹی ہوں ….. I am my mother’s daughter and Breathing in China: Art, Ethics, and Environment). We also spent considerable time on level two looking through the permanent collection. What a privilege to see so many works by exceptional Canadian artists such as Norval Morriseau, Emily Carr, Alex Colville, Lawren Harris, and more. Looking forward to our next (much sooner) trip to the gallery.

The museum has a guided tour, which is cool. I took the guided one for an hour, and it was packed with info. If you're not into guided stuff, you can wander around on your own. They've got some really interesting art pieces. Just a heads up, parking isn't free.

Beautiful art exhibits! Loved the Maud Lewis and Poppa Wilson exhibits! Really well maintained and well organized! Also Kim Adams, Bruegel-Bosch bus exhibit is a must watch!

A wonderful place to take visiting friends and family or poke around on your own. There is always something new. It is definitely a mature space but they occasionally host events for youngsters. Curation is some of the best in the country and has driven so many sub-movements in the city and beyond. Be sure to check out the entire gallery as everything is worth your while. From Norval Morrisseau to your new favourite (who you’ve never heard of). Plus the gift shop and purchasing gallery is amazing too!!

First, I didn't realize it was in such a weird area... Downtown Hamilton, but entrance is in the alley or parking structure, with homeless people sleeping right by the walkway. Very bizarre and had a bad vibe. Parking was like $4 or so. But once you are in, the place is clean, open and very cool. We were able to tour a couple exhibits that were open. Mostly modern art, but had a few halls with 19th century paintings, which were of course great. Ticket prices are a bit high for what they offer; the museum is not big at all. However, we decided not to worry and just enjoy it. We did have a great time.

I had never been to the AGH as a patron; only there as a performer, many years ago. I brought my mom while she was visiting from out of town, as we are both art lovers. The exhibits were so well put together, and a delight waiting around every corner. I plan on making this a more regular visit from now on. Some of the most inspired and beautiful collections I've ever seen, of local and international artists, alike. It's also very kid friendly, with areas and exhibits geared towards child interaction. A perfectly beautiful day! I just wish I'd budgeted more time for our visit, as there was so much to see! Definitely something for everyone. Enjoy.

I had such a wonderful experience at the AGH! The front desk staff were super nice when I said it was my first time visiting and gave me the rundown of the gallery. The permanent pieces are gorgeous and I was beyond happy to see multiple Lawren Harris and Emily Carr paintings there! In my own city! The gift shop is also stocked with so many books. I can’t wait to visit again :)

A beautiful Gallery with some amazing pieces. We visited on a Sunday to look at their latest gallery centered around Indigenous beading in art and it was absolutely spectacular. I would recommend paying this place a visit if you have a good appreciation for the arts.

Absolutely incredible experience! Came in for a visit on a Thursday (free admission day) it was not too busy at all, no wait times and no large crowds. There is a great deal of art to explore; tons of local, Indigenous, and Canadian artists to appreciate! Overall an amazing experience, would definitely recommend to anyone in the area that has some free time; a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours of your day! :)

A wonderful place to visit any time of year to immerse yourself in wonderful art and exhibits. Tons of local and Canadian pieces. Plenty of underground parking and walking distance to the downtown core. Gift Shop on site with plenty of things to buy. There was no lineup when we visited and the kids really enjoyed it!

I photographed Cori + Chris' wedding here recently and can't wait to return! The team went above and beyond to ensure my couple had an amazing time, and I enjoyed using aspects of the venue for creative portraits with the couple. As well, having Sheraton Hamilton across the street provided an efficient spot for getting ready photos followed by a short walk to the venue. Check out the AGH for your wedding day, and don't overlook the cool hallway lighting - great potential for creative wedding photographs if you lean into it!!

Great venue for a show. Smaller than your newer stadiums, which gave it a much more intimate feeling. Friendly staff at all the concessions and not too crowded. Price for booze is the same as everywhere else.

First Ontario place arena is awesome. Every time I've went there I've had a great experience when you're looking for your section. It's very simple and the layout is not really that big so it's easy to find anything you need. Can't wait to go back.

Great place to see a concert. Plenty of parking and great restaurants nearby for a pre-show meal. The facilities and washrooms are immaculate! So much more relaxed than going to see a show in Toronto!

Descent venue. They made us wait in the line to come in for an extra 20 minutes and it was colllddd. But the staff were organized and the concert was great. I wish they hadn't taken the lids for the water bottles we ordered. I would have been nice to not have to chug it before the show.

Great arena and great staff. was there for a Toronto Rock vs Philadelphia lacrosse game. It's convenience location. Great selection of food and beers. And everything is reasonably priced, not like Toronto. We had a great time

Pretty good location for events and concerts etc. concession selections are average and the seating and viewing is pretty good. Traffic in and around the area does pile up on event days and parking could be better. We went to see Monster Jam here with the kiddos and it was a well organized event and pretty good venue for it overall.

Cute venue, but needs some work. Needs to be more assessable throughout for disabilities. The seating could be better, probably the least comfortable seating I've ever sat on. However I like that this is close, they have great entertainment and parking nearby. Disney on ice was great! 4 stars, just needs some updating!

Great place for concerts hockey games your typical arena. Seen lots of shows there and came out happy every time. Depending on concert they can use 3/4 1/2 or even 1/4 of the arena sounds pretty good to me.

Have seen so many events here. It’s a good place to watch any event! Cheaper than rogers center Last event was a Toronto rock Lacrosse game. They hammered the team they played. We had seats in a executive suite and it was good!!

Great place, seats are conformable, easy access, clear aisle, row, seat instructions written. The gate/queue in front of Shawarma Royale is for VIP (for most of the concerts), the other entrance is for all. Parking available at cheapest $2.50/$5.00 at Queen St & Napier St. Don't fall for parking near Starbucks as they charge $30.00

Pricing was reasonable on the food. The bathrooms were clean as well. If you are 5’10 or taller, the higher-up seats may not be the best for you. The seats closer have more legroom.

I went to see Blackpink for the Born pink world tour on November 7 2022, I really enjoyed the show very much and the experience was amazing

Not great for people who have a hard time with stairs. If there was an elevator somewhere, i sure couldn't find it. When the building was packed for the cirque de soleil show and the washrooms were backed up forever they wouldnt let my elderly aunt use the washroom in the roped off section (even though she REALLY had to go and i practically begged them) they need to think these things through and allow as many washrooms as possible be open for shows. We walked around and found only 2 and they had insane lineups.

Went to see Cirque Du Soleil here and over all, not a bad experience. The show was great. The food was very expensive but was tasty. The floor was sticky though. Not sure why.

Inside was beautiful. Very clean. They really need to work on the after the venue parking issue. We waited 40 mins to get out of the underground parking lot. The new QR code to Pat was exciting until we realized our phones didn't have service down there. We all had to pay at the gate and there was only 1 person working the gate. We won't be parking there for any other events.

EDIT: Returned to Disney on Ice after a year! Bought the character experience again and had an even BETTER meet and greet with Mirabel than last year! Elsa was great too! Mirabel acknowledged when she waved to us, she excitedly yelled “HIIII” to me as soon as she saw my Disneybound outfit of her, and when I went to meet her, she told me that she had been waiting for me and admitted that she has been eyeing my outfit, which made me feel really special! I decorated a canvas with Mirabel stickers and had her sign it. She has an amazing signature and it turned out so well! She even asked me for a hug twice which enhanced that special feeling! The show was amazing, and I even bought a Mirabel plush doll to add to my Mirabel collection! I had so much fun and I cannot wait for the next show to attend to! Went to go see Disney on Ice, Frozen and Encanto back in March! Had an AMAZING experience, I bought VIP add ons which was basically a meet and greet and photo opportunity with both Elsa and Mirabel, I bought the tickets 6 months in advance as a precaution since both Elsa and Mirabel are extremely popular characters in high demand (but I found out that VIP tickets do usually sell out the week of their shows). The month of the show was also my cousin’s birthday month, so meeting her favourite Disney characters was apart of her birthday gift (and with me being absolutely OBSESSED with Mirabel). We were both dressed up as Mirabel (me disneybounding as her instead of wearing a costume of her) Once we got there, it was very cute and felt very personalized. Elsa came out first (she was in her blue frozen dress from the first movie), she was very regal, beautiful and kind, and was willing to hold my cousin’s hand for the photo so she would feel less shy. Mirabel was the BEST part. She was super bubbly and sweet, and oh my gosh she gives the most amazing hugs! We did a hugging pose together and stayed back so that Mirabel could sign some autographs (for character experiences they are trained on how to do signatures just like the ones at Disney World/Disneyland so it’s a good idea to photo print a picture of the character(s) you or your child are expecting to meet with a sharpie because it’s so memorable and definitely a magical memory). I also gifted Mirabel an Encanto pop it fidget with Mirabel’s face on it, and judging by the tight hug she gave me, I think she loved it! Overall, the character experience was a 10/10! The costumes, wigs and accessories were so closely resembled to the ones at the Disney parks and the lookalikes were very accurate to how they look in the movie, same with their voice impressions and mannerisms, great job FELD! As for the show, we got seats in the 100s section and had an amazing view, both shows were great, and I absolutely loved the tricks Mirabel and Isabela did in “What Else Can I Do” song performance. I bought a Moana doll too since she wasn’t in my collection of Disney princess plush dolls. One of the best parts was the Mirabel performer smiling and waving right at me! It felt super special because I don’t usually get noticed by the skaters and I wasn’t sitting front row either! So that definitely made my day. I really hope another Frozen and Encanto show comes back here soon as I would definitely watch it again with front rows this time and FOR SURE do the character experience a second time. Mirabel is my biggest comfort character and got me through tough times when I was feeling down. Overall, best Disney on Ice experience I had in years. I never got the chance to do VIP in my childhood, so this definitely made me feel like a kid again, and best of all, I got to share it with my favourite cousin! Getting VIP is HIGHLY recommended and will make your child so happy!

I went on a Saturday. The village homes and shops only open on Sunday but there was still plenty to see while walking by the old building and hiking the trails. The old shops and locomotive made for a very picturesque walk. Lots of parking and the washrooms were open and clean. There are 3 trails, each between 1-2km, flat and wide paths. The majority of the trails go through meadows but there are some denser forested patches as well that had some nice fall colours already starting. It's a good spot if you want to do a bit of trails and see the old village as both don't take very much time to do.

Had a great family outing for Maple Syrup Time! Stopped in at Ironwood to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast. Fed a group of 10 for $50. Excellent and friendly staff. This place is a gem.

I would definitely recommend you to see a very important museum for Canadian history. And the volunteers working there were very helpful. I was honored to know him. We went with my wife and daughter and we liked it very much。It is a small but useful museum. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.

Excellent experience at the Westfield Heritage Village, Maple Syrup tour. Volunteers are the key element to keeping such an educational and fun environment for all of us. The two demonstrations were interesting. We tasted freshly made syrup and bought a few goodies from the sugar shack. Highly recommended.

Westfield Heritage Village is a beautiful way to spend a fall weekend. It should definitely be on everyone's autumn bucket list. Great for families, a first date. We had a lovely time showed up kidless for the Halloween party but had a wonderful spooky time ( we didn't realize there was an event). The staff and volunteers are amazing. Picturesque 🍁🍁 call ahead for parking reservation just in case .

My family and I truly live this place. Over the years we have had many great experiences. From pancake breakfast for maple syrup fest to the fairy forest event. We are hoping to get to the halloween pumpkin festival this year. A truly fun place with a real great staff. They are very knowledgeable on all the trades and traditions of the past. Even though we have gone there so many times, we still always find something new and fun to experience there. Well worth the trip. Keep up the good work.

Christina and Sandra were wonderful to work with, throughout the 2-year process of actualizing our wedding day and the challenges that came along. The venue is absolutely stunning, definitely a hidden gem, and I would highly recommend visiting during regular times throughout the year for the history, education, and charm. We went yesterday for March break/Easter event. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. Wagon ride about 8 minutes. The whole ambiance was lovely and informative about Canadian heritage and how they lived. Maple syrup sample was delicious. The trail to sugar shack has facts about maple syrup. Presentations were informative and fun. Also maple syrup process

Great place for a school trip. The interpreters are great, they dress the part and know their stuff. We’ve been here for three end of the year trips. Highly recommended.

This is a must visit place for all history lovers.. Great effort put together by the team to recreate the ambience and atmosphere all around you which will surely take you through a time journey. Amazing story telling and great presentation of the past will make you believe that every bit of it is real and as if they are living the same life like it used to be in the 1900s or 1800's. Enjoy the beauty of nature while walking through the trails and don't forget to taste the original, fresh, hot maple syrup on your way. Restaurant is also there to serve you hot fresh breakfast items. Overall it will definitely going to be a day we'll spend with friends and families.

Really nice heritage village! It is very well maintained and the people working there have endless knowledge and are so happy to share it. Easy walk and there is also a bird scavenger hunt. The gift shop is great!! Lots of selection and also cold beverages.. would definitely recommend.

Revisited Westfield after years of wanting to visit again, I went as a child with school and really wanted to bring my kids to see. Loved going through all the old houses and revisiting history. The only downfall was most of the houses weren't open, I remember as a kid sitting in the church and just memorizing how small it was compared to churches nowadays. The house was open but couldn't go upstairs, which was a bit disappointing as I wanted to show my kids how they used to sleep back then. Loved tasting the maple syrup, my kids really enjoyed themselves. They range between the ages of 9-4. We will definitely go back again once my youngest is older.

Lovely water park. It was enjoyed by all. Clean & well maintained. Heavily staff with lifeguards. Felt safe & well looked after. Plenty to play on. Standard expensive eats. Bring your own lunch.

Giving a shoutout to john he is outstanding But mostly because he Is so caring and always asks if I’m ok . He makes the experience better for me and I really appreciate how he is so nice because i get made fun of because I have a disability and my energy but it makes me so happy to know someone appreciate me and my energy especially he is there for me . thanks for hiring such a lovely and amazing employee

The water park is fantastically located at the end of the Red Hill Expressway and makes it easily accessible from just about any direction in Ontario. Parking is okay but isn't paved. The park allows for visitors to bring their own food and drink into the park, which is fantastic when you are a family of 5. Food is available on site and food trucks are parked out front too. The watersides are okay, and the tube slides are their best feature... but the blue one is a bit dangerous. Or so the paramedics told us (*Aug 5th incident*) The wave pool is great but it is very quickly overcrowded. The lazy river is wonderfully heated and slow moving. We did not explore the little squirts section, but it looks like a fantastic splash pad

Beautiful beaches near Lake shores at Hamilton and Stoney Creek on. Beautiful beaches and places to visit in summer times, to enjoy with families and kids specially in summer times.

Lovely place to have fun with family and friends! Buying tickets online cost a little less than at the gate and parking is free (yay!) Love the lazy river and the water slides. Food is allowed so you can bring your own picnic/meals and enjoy. There are also places to buy snacks and drinks. There are some food trucks located right in front of the entrance too (corn, hot dogs, etc)

Excellent for all ages. Two families went together to celebrate a 10th birthday! Wave pool was SO MUCH FUN! Lazy river was relaxing. Life preservers are provided... mandatory for kids 10 and under. Water slides were exciting! Only took 3 photo all day lol

Love this place, great layout, short wait times, easy access from HWY. Not much break from the sun so bring a hat, umbrella for shade. Love the fact that you can bring your own food and drinks (no glass or alcohol). Also I would recommend a seasons pass if you have a family of 4. Unfortunately in my case I only have one child so the fourth pass has to be assigned to one single person! Wish they where more flexible on this rule, especially if you have a blended family, in the case where not all the same kids will be attending.

🎊Hot fun in the summertime🎉and that it was. We decided to grab some after 4pm tickets to slip and slide and float as it was on the grandkids' summer bucket list. Their Mom and I frequented this place during her childhood and now we were sharing new memories with them. Outside of the astro turf missing, the place felt the same. It was extremely crowded but doable. We wore our bathing suits as I have never found the change/washrooms to be clean ( maybe when it first opened) We enjoyed the lazy river once again and delighted in holding each other under the various 'waterfalls.' The kids were so excited about the waves as we headed for the deep end( all accomplished swimmers) but anyone under the age of 11 must wear a lifejacket. The water seemed unusually warm 🤔 but still cooled us off. The lineups finally died down on the slides and the younger folk stepped up to the challenge. Now, mind you, I would have gone down but sadly got some sunscreen in my one eye and it was burning and very uncomfortable. I did visit the first aid area and a young gal gave me access to an eye flush bottle which provided relief. She put it back in the stand and am hoping she sterilized it once I left 😳 All in all, it was a trip down memory lane, a fun time had by all and we felt refreshed ( altho covered in chlorine) once we left. Now I am not sure if this is connected at all, but I did come down with a sore throat and cough the next day? I am sure they test the waters and do everything they can to keep it clean, but ya never know.

A lot of fun for kids and adults. Not too crowded during the weekdays in August. Save 2 dollars when you buy tickets online! The lazy river is so relaxing!

Today was our very first visit. The wave pool was an absolute blast for the entire family. The lazy river was very relaxing! They added some extra sprinklers in it, to make is more fun! The kids zone was amazing for the Littles. They had slides and sprinklers, an overall large area for families. The many waterslides were very popular for adults and kids. Food, drinks and cold treats were also available. Picnic tables galore for familes to sit and set up shop. This park was amazing, and we will definitely be back.

Very beautiful place to spend hot summer days. Water, sun and fun😅 There are free life savers vests. Free beach chairs. First come first served. Don’t expect food to buy. I had cinnamon cakes and it was dissapointing. The green gras it is so welcoming you. The roses along the water alley very charming and believe me antistress🤓. If you don’t have a summer pass the entrance for the day split in from 8am till 4 pm $29/adult and $14.99 /per child. After 4 pm half per child and $14.99/ per adult.

Beautifully designed football pitch. Grounds are very clean, well maintained and surprisingly new ish in the heart of downtown. Facility is premium. I used the limited parking across the street but it’s seems underground parking is available (not sure about this).

Came for the solar eclipse event in 2024 and loved it. Lovely stadium and staff, great views...I'll forever remember this stadium for the time I had one of the great experiences of my life.

Awesome to see Canada soccer team!!!!... The Tim Hortons Field is a good place to enjoy an incredible soccer match!!! Easy and organize access to the stadium. We are going to Qatar!!!

Great place to catch a Hamilton Tigercats game. The stadium is bright and well laid out and easy to get in and out of. They need a few more elevators or escalators for us older fans who might have some trouble walking way high up to the stands. Other than that, a great experience.

CFL football is a lot of fun. This stadium provides a great atmosphere. The fans are friendly and all the concessions were exceptional without being overpriced.

Went there for the first time on Eclipse Day. The stadium is very well kept. Especially considering it’s outdoors. You know when you sit on a park picnic table with crusties and stuff on it? And you kind of feel a bit gross? Well this is not that. Thanks for a great Eclipse day experience Tim Hortons Field crew!

Surprisingly nice little stadium in the heart of a Hamilton neighborhood. Sightlines to the field are fantastic and everything is very clearly new and modern. Big upgrade over the old stadium. Traffic in the neighborhood is a bit chaotic on game day, but there are big lots nearby you can park at that are a very short walk away.

First time visiting this stadium and I had a great experience. The only down fall is that it was very inconvenient to get up for drinks, food and washrooms due to limited space. When we intiatally got there, the group sitting next to us sighed when they had to get up as they were eating so that we could walk to our seats which was a little uncomfortable. Any time we wanted to get up from our seats (including intermission) everyone in the aisle had to get up so we could walk through. It would be nice to have a little more space in each aisle for people to walk through comfortably.

Great stadium. But limited parking which was so darn frustrating. Hrrrrrrrr. By the time we find parking on somebody's LAWN we miss half the game.

Came for the home opener. The staff were friendly like always. Felt like the weather was going to keep many of the fans away, but the stadium filled up fast My husband and I had one pepperoni and one cheese. The pizza...it was okay. It was not worth the money, but it did the job.

The first time I've seen a football since the renovations. This is a very nice stadium with lots of paid parking ($20) all around, a 5 minute walk to the stadium (it doesn't appear that residents provide parking on their lawns, driveways anymore. Food options inside are somewhat minimal but excellent quality and price for a sporting event. Our double burger and fries were excellent (hand formed patties).

Greycup event!! I love this stadium as it is home to the tiger cats but doesn't matter what you're where your seating, all seating is great. It just lacks a lot of wheelchair places to sit. Eat and Drink before you arrive because the prices are 😲 Better off till getting or buying from the carts outside. HOOTS

Went here for the Grey Cup and it was a fantastic experience. Not only was it a great game, but the food was great! There was lots of security and paramedics, I felt very safe and if I needed help it would not have been hard to find. The food was better quality than I expected, and they had surprisingly good vegetarian options (Jackfruit BBQ Poutine was decent, and all the gravy was vegetarian as well). The only thing was the sound system definitely could have been better, and their merch options were extremelyyy lacking. They didn’t have any sports merch for either of the teams that were playing which was incredibly disappointing, definitely a missed opportunity on the venues part. Overall very safe and fun experience.

‘T-was my first time watching a CFL game. I-think there are no bad seats for this venue. C-oncessions had plenty of food selections. A-lso the washrooms were surprisingly clean. ‘T-was a close and an entertaining game for the football fans 🐱 🔨 S-taff and security did great too.

Great atmosphere, exceptional views from the seats, bathrooms are well maintained, stadium is cashless and the concessions seem fairly priced.

Great stadium to watch the TiCats or Grey Cup! Great views from the suites and the half time show with Greenday was amazing! Staff was friendly and attentive. If you can ever check out a game here do it.
