Absolutely enjoyed and left so inspired. You can do the whole place in less than an hour if you're short on time, or linger as long as you wish. I went on a very hot day, 100 plus, and they were very kind. They have a drinking fountain where you can fill up your water bottle with filtered cold water, and clean restrooms are inside the bookstore. Parking is so easy. You will learn a lot. It still feels like a quiet desert residence....like when I was a kid.....before all the construction in the region. Preserved like a time capsule, a great experience.

Great visit in this beautiful location! Recommend guided tour.. we couldn't make the reservation in time so we went with the audio tour instead. So many gorgeous things about this property although the kitchen and dining room are no longer there. Also, we weren't given access to sleep quarters and didn't see any washrooms that may have been used. Gift shop was full of wonderful objects.

We are big Frank Lloyd Wright fans. He was such a colorful visionary. We have been on tours to 5 other homes he designed. This one is so exquisite in how it seamlessly blends with the beauty of the desert. Glenn, our guide, was super in bringing its history to life. The tour is worth the fee and time to enjoy.

Martha was a very fun, knowledgeable and energetic tour guide! Very cool to see the property. I just wish we could have seen more than the main rooms. So many private areas that were not open to the public but have me wondering what the heck is in there?!

Do not hesitate to visit Taliesin West. It is an absolute ‘must see’ for young and old, design students, inquiring minds, history buffs and more. A unique view into the mind of Frank Lloyd Wright and his students, turning a baron piece of land into an amazing architectural wonder. Get there early. I had been wanting to tour Taliesin West for a while, so when friends visited, it was the perfect time. We took the self-guided audio tour, which was perfect. You hit the start button and never think about it again! The hour tour was comprehensive and was fun! Go if you have the chance!

For fans of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, this is a great place to visit and admire his genius. It is a serene place, but I can imagine the difficulty in visiting this place during the hot weather. Fortunately, the early April weather was perfect in Scottsdale, and I had an amazing audio tour of Taliesin West.

This is the winter home of Frank Lloyd Wright. Tour tickets are $49 for seniors. You have to buy them in advance on the internet. A tour guide takes you around the property, both inside and outside the buildings, for about 90 minutes. We found it interesting, but probably more suited for people who already know a fair amount about Frank Lloyd Wright and want to see his property. They have a nice gift shop and plenty of parking. Be aware that you will be standing outside in the sun, on and off during the tour.

We are glad we added this place to our itinerary. We have seen Franklin Lloyd Wright’s Falling Waters in PA so we thought we can skip visiting this place. Totally different experience. Same theme of organically blending the landscape with the design of the home. Better tour setup than in PA. I like the audio/phone and self paced touring.

Wow. You’re in for a treat! Exploring Taliesin West is truly an experience. More than an interesting building, the whole campus provides an ever-shifting aesthetic as the tour provides interesting information and clear directions. It was quite warm in mid-May, but the views were spectacular. If you have any interest in architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright, or art in general, you absolutely must visit. The self-guided tour is one hour, and it is worth every minute. I hope this makes your list if you are in the area!

An exemplary architectural site by Mr. Wright. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. It was a little difficult to find, but well worth it. The price was reasonable, staff were friendly and helpful. The gift shop was laid out nicely and had a wide variety of items and affordable items to purchase for memorabilia. 10/10 would recommend for anyone.

Amazing place, just go! The winter home of Frank Lloyd Wright is just incredible! The entire original 600 acres that the house sits on is still intact. Mostly all original since Frank and his wife lived there. The place is lovingly maintained. It's a must see! Martha our tour guide was the best!

This place is incredible! Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius with the way he combined inside and outside. Everything flows and is absolutely gorgeous while doing so. I really love that his talent and interests extend to interior design and decoration. The audio tour is perfect. I preferred this method so I could go at my own pace. Nice gift shop where I was able to refill my water bottle, buy a magnet (my go-to souvenir), a gorgeous gold-foil puzzle of "City by the Sea" (another FLW design), and a couple kids' books about shapes for my niece.

It's one thing to see Frank Lloyd Wright's work in photographs and books, but being able to experience the site yourself is an incredible experience. The audio tour can be a bit long-winded at times, but the detail and context it adds are more than worth it, and I have to imagine the guided tours are even better. The structures themselves are simple and elegant, a great example of Wright's vision of organic architecture, and the original and period furnishing help to fill out the vision for Taliesin West. The caretakers on site are friendly and knowledgeable as well. Well worth the time and expense to stop by if you're near Phoenix, and worth a trip if you're not.

Beautiful space, short interesting audio tour. You can enjoy it without any prior knowledge of Frank Loyd Wright. If you’re a fan, or interested in space planning, design, construction, craftsmanship, or art you will enjoy it. Find a friend, bring your spouse, take a teenager, make your co-worker step away their desk, skip the conference for an hour, or guarantee your first date leads to a second date. Go. But get your tickets ahead of time.

Oh, how I love Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture. This was a winter camp for him, his family and students. Originally no glass and canvas tops. They would roll up the canvas and store when they were gone back to Taliesin. I took so many photos. The walking audio tour was perfect and I could take my time as I walked through. My favorite buy in the gift shop was a stone to write on with water. Of course it would dry and disappear. "The art of creating and letting go". This is a highlight to my trip to Phoenix.

On our first trip through the Phoenix area we didn't visit Taliesin but on our way back out west we had time to kill so we took the $39 plunge and booked a tour! Oh my gosh, I'm so glad we did!! What an amazing, stunningly gorgeous work of art Frank Lloyd Wright created. It was a studio, home and camp all in one and is a true example of his brilliance! We did the self guided tour and were able to wander at leisure which is our style. Each and every space was created with nature and with intention. From the entryways to the roofline, there is meaning in everything. Learning so much about something we knew nothing about or that it even existed was the best part! It's peaceful, historical and magical all at the same time. Super friendly folks around to answer all your questions and an amazing gift shop with very unique artwork, books and souvenirs.

The self-paced audio tour was great. We spent about an hour on the tour, which was very informative and detailed. Great mix of history and details about the materials and structures. Highly recommend a visit here. Definitely adult-oriented, so not much for kids. Gift shop is wonderful, too.

My husband and I enjoyed the in-depth guided tour of this Frank Lloyd Wright property. Getting to see how difficult it was to create the home and work spaces for the staff of designers was eye opening. It was built in a barren desert, taking 10 years to complete. Beautiful use of natural materials. The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

We did the audio tour and it was fantastic! The whole space is gorgeous, and getting to hear some of the stories in Mr. Wright’s own words is illuminating. I fully intend to return for one of the guided tours because it’s worth taking it all in many times and in multiple ways. Note that there are shallow stairs but also plenty of accessible ramps. There are some uneven surfaces (fine gravel in particular) and low ceilings (about 6 feet in some areas).

Beautiful! I loved how educational it was, really cool 3d movie about monarchs! (Don't know if that changes throughout the year). Beautiful plants, loves the koi garden in the middle of the butterfly area, they also had 2 small chickens!! cool reptile area, wish the gift shop had a little more geared to adults, but not taking points off for that, they did have some stuff.

Relaxing and exciting! So glad we stopped by while in town. We bought tickets at the window, only $30 per person and spent about 2 hours there. Soooo many beautiful butterflies flying right by you surrounded by lovely flowers & plants. They even have birds, chickens, reptiles, insects and a small aquarium! The staff was friendly, they have a small Cafe with snacks & drinks & a small gift shop. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth bringing the kids to or just going adults. Staff was friendly.

What a great experience! If you love butterflies or enjoy taking nature pictures, ensure you go here. They have a temperature controlled greenhouse style room with over three thousand butterflies flying around. There are also plenty of other reptiles and fish to see. Fun for the entire family!

Very good experience. Nice 15 minute 3D movie on the Monarch butterfly. Got to walk around at your own pace looking at all the butterflies. Be careful where you step so you don't get one on the bottom of your shoe. There is also an amphibian exhibit area and small reptile area for the same price. I think it was worth the $24 entry fee. Better price than the other exhibits in the Arizona Boardwalk.

Butterfly Wonderland was an amazing experience and beautiful photo opportunities were everywhere. As an adult, I loved it and can't wait to return. Caution to those with kids though - make sure they can handle the butterflies flying around them and possibly landing on them. I've never seen so many kids freak out, scream, and cry - including my 8 & 9 year-old niece and nephew. I told them what to expect, they were excited, but it just wasn't for them. Spent some time indoors at the mini aquarium and reptile exhibit. Unfortunately, it was a pricey disappointment, hence the four stars. $150 dollars for four adults and two kids and we were only there for 30 minutes due to the freak outs. When I go again, it will definitely be on my own.

Better than I expected!! It was almost magical. I definitely recommend if you need to relax and need to smile. If you can go during the week when kids are in school so its not as busy. There are also other attractions then just the butterflies.

Truly a wonderland - visiting this butterfly garden is a wonderful experience that fills you with peace and joy. There's something so serene and exhilarating to be amidst these little flitting gorgeous creatures. The butterflies are not shy, they come out and grace the visitors with their presence by landing on the oddest places - making for lovely pictures. You can admire the beauty and diversity of these delicate insects, and learn about their life cycle and habitats. At this butterfly garden I felt connected with nature and really felt at peace.

This was absolutely amazing! It's worth the money, especially if it's a slow day and there are less people. Butterflies will land on you, and there are some amazing photo opportunities. BE AWARE WHERE YOU WALK!!! We saw a couple people step on butterflies that landed on the ground. I had a wonderful time. I use a cane and it was easy for me to maneuver around where I needed to go. It was really hot and humid in the conservatory, but that wasn't a bother when you walk around and find the AC. I will definitely be going back if I can! The reptiles and fish were really cool to see as well.

I love it here. It's absolutely breathtaking to see all the different species of beautiful butterflies and having them fly around you and land on you! There isn't one part I dislike. It's great for kids, families and even solo trips. I like going on my own and just taking my time in there. Highly recommended.

We went for a field trip for our school. I've never been before and was in awe of how beautiful this place is. It is so clean and well kept and the butterflies and all the little things you get to see and experience is amazing. I want to especially thank Dee and Autumn who made sure we were taken care of. Dee made accommodations for us and I can't thank her enough. The kids LOVED it and I truly felt like I was looking through the eyes of a child because it was such an amazing experience.

I took my girlfriend here on a date and this place was amazing! They bring you into a theater and show you an informational video on butterflies. Once that ends you get to go into the butterfly habitat which is absolutely beautiful. It’s really nice because they play some peaceful music and you can walk around and look at all of the butterflies.There are so many types of butterflies here and some of them even land on you. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Absolutely beautiful! Was a total blast being able to walk around with butterflies! The staff was so amazing! They also have a section of reptiles, insects, and aquatic life! Absolutely a blast and worth the money!

We were gifted tickets for my husband, myself and my two daughter. It was a very small exhibit and I wouldn’t be able to justify the cost, particularly for a family. It was cool for a few minute walk through. I wouldn’t pay more than $10/person. The butterfly area itself was very very warm and hard to stay in for more than a few minutes. The aquarium is a much better way to spend your money.

I was told by a few locals that this place wasn’t worth it but the butterfly conservation work they do, and the educational videos they show prior to your entry are great! You learn about the monarch migration pattern and it’s amazing. Then coming to the butterfly conservatory, the space is huge and beautiful. It has sooo many different butterfly species, and if you’re wearing lighter colors or hats, they land on you. There is a cafe and they have different events. I’m not in town for long so I couldn’t attend but it’s a must see! Largest butterfly conservatory in the states!

AWESOME TIME! GREAT EXPERIENCE! AMAZING PHOTOS! My family really enjoyed this place. We went with some friends that have never been here before, This place seriously mistreated me during covid because they were the "mask" police—following me from the butterfly area and into their cafeteria to tell me to put on a mask even as I ordered food from them. I was upset and stopped going. It's been almost 4 years—and I forgive them. They didn't know any better and they were scared. I was inconsiderate and rude for not respecting their rules on their property, even though those rules were not in effect when I bought my yearly pass. It's good to forgive and it's also good to accept my part in it.

Very cool! I like that you can basically spend as much time as you want to once you get inside. This would be fun in the wintertime too as it’s very tropical feeling in the sanctuary. It was very interesting to learn about the butterfly life cycle and Monarch journey. Observing the chrysalis & freshly hatched butterflies & moths really makes you wonder! You can save some money by purchasing tickets in advance online but it’s not a big deal if you don’t.

We chose to go early on a Sunday. Still pretty packed. I highly suggest buying your tickets online to save time. We did not watch the video that they show before you go into the exhibit. It was a beautiful experience and to be able to have the butterflies land on you was perfect! It is very humid in there so bring water. There is a reptile exhibit and a small aquarium as well! We did try the cafe inside and the pretzel and slushy was so good and refreshing!

We went here on a whim towards the end of the week, and WOW what a cool place! Our group was enthralled with all of the butterflies, bees, and fish. We could have stayed here for hours! Definitely wear bright colors or something floral and you will have butterflies land on you. When we went it wasn't too crowded, so it seems like the best time to go would be the middle of the day if you can swing it. Dress appropriately because it was quite hot and humid in the greenhouse. We were impressed as the employees were all very knowledgeable and we truly learned so much about the life cycle of a butterfly and how they fit into our ecosystem. Very educational and fun for all ages. There were also two really great small exhibits you could enter for free that were run by the neighboring aquarium with fish, a shark, reptiles, frogs, snakes, and more! SO cool!

Definitely a great experience Everytime, this one is one of the best butterfly experiences we been to, lots of butterflies flying around and it's surreal. I always thought that butterflies fly aimlessly and just basically flying without any meaningful control...but seeing them fly here changed that, they do have control and they fly in formations etc. I really enjoy this exhibit a lot! I will go back soon!

I Loved this place ... the inside of the aviary is gorgeous filled with plants and flowers, a large koi pond in the middle, and of course butterflies . There are stairs and ramps. A few things. IF YOU ARE MILITARY LIKE MYSELF AND ONLY GOING TO SEE THE BUTTERFLIES BUY YOUR TICKETS IN PERSON THEY DO NOT GIVE A DISCOUNT ONLINE. it's VERY hot/humid inside here if you are doing multiple attractions I would do this last cause you will sweat. I recommend you wear loose fitting light material clothing, no layers or jackets. I would bring a cloth to wipe your face and water. If you have high blood pressure and take medication for it make sure you are with a friend so you don't pass out as the heat/humidity lowers your blood pressure coupled with your medication can take it too low. I take high blood pressure medicine and felt light headed a few times while Inside. They allow you to leave and come back as much as you want ... so take breaks! They have chickens inside for clean up which is a healthy natural way to take care of the mess. SO be kind to them ... some people were upset about the butterfly bodies or the butterflies on their way out but not all the way dead being eaten and said mean things about the chickens and were trying to shoo them away meanly. They keep the habitat clean and keep the smell down. They are working for your comfort. Butterflies don't live long and the place would be a filthy stinky mess without the chickens.

Loved our visit. Wonderful place. Really enjoyed it. Great, helpful staff. The place was truly beautiful. Had a few butterfly land on us. Got to see them catch some newly emerged ones to release. There was one group that wasn't paying attention and stepped on a butterfly. That made my little one sad, but hope next time they give people more fyi on things before letting them enter.

Fun time for the family at a reasonable price. The mini train sets are amazing.the Halloween experience was great for the entire family. Scary enough for little ones and children alike. Saw so many great costumes and had an enjoyable time on the train ride. Spooky train ride I should say. Even during regular business hours the place has a great park for kids to run around and tire themselves out at.of you haven't been check them out you will have a blast!

Great place for kids and families to unwind and have fun. Keep in mind that weekend afternoons will be crowded. The park usually has many events and they are advertised on banners in advance around the park. If you enjoy museums or historic looking buildings you'll enjoy this place as well. They have a snack shop, ice cream and gift shop. If you want a bigger or more filling bite to eat there is a path under the road that goes to the plaza across the street which has restaurants. The train ride is fun to bring your kids on. The kids get really involved in waving to everyone and listening to the train whistle. It's also very reasonably priced at the moment $3.00 a ticket for an about 10 min ride. You definetely need to go there once to at least see what it has to offer.

Super cute place to take children of all ages. They have several little things that can tend to everyone’s general “likes” regarding what this park offers. Definitely safe and I highly recommend for small children. Tickets are $3 per person to ride the train and is charged separately from the carousel. Train has a fairly decent ride time. It is HOT, maybe don’t go during peak summer hours.

Even after reading so many positive reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by this park. It was beautiful, clean and had such a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. The rides were fun and a great length. The museum model trains were very impressive. You could easily spend several hours there without spending any money. The kids didn't want to leave.

This park is nice for 2 to 3 visits. It's big, so there is plenty of space to walk and play. The old west play area is cute and fun for kids. The play structures are a bit run down and poorly maintained, and the trains themselves have yet to be opened when we have gone. This is overdue, but I do want to share now in hopes that whoever is decorating this year, considers the age to which the event is marketed to: We went to the Halloween paid event in 2022. It was a family event, marketed as "spooky fun" for young children. However, the decorations were definitely not child appropriate! It was scary even for some adults (including me!), and many were covering their young children's eyes. As you can image (see photos), there were a lot of very scared and crying kids and angry parents, including us. My kids, 5 and 8, had nightmares for days.

Well if you're into the trains of any scale ho or any scale at all this is the place to be. a great place to teach your kids of how trains work and be able to understand them at the same time be able to have a great picnic play in the park throw the football around play on the different jungle gyms that they have that are very extensive. They also have a model train area as well as gifts and gift shop. The staff has always the knowledge available to be able to answer my questions when I'm there. They pay attention to detail. The place is clean and neat. Well kept up and I will definitely return here.

This is an amazing place! I especially appreciate the models room! You can still see people at work building stuff! Very interactive and fun to explore. You can easily spend a few hours there and have not seen it all. "It's never too late to have a happy childhood!" I feel like a giant peering through the town of awesome-ville and her people. Visit the Park early in the morning to avoid the heat. The holidays light is awesome, too! The train ride is cool! The playground is awesome! Don't forget to visit the store for some delicious ice cream. People working there are nice, professional, and friendly! Thank you so much for this awesome place!

This is beautiful place to go. You will see trains. You will get chance to go inside vintage trains. You can purchase ticket to ride small train ride. Also there is train museum of hundreds of miniature trains running on tracks. Setup was beautiful.

This was our first visit, and it did not disappoint! Multiple playgrounds for kids, and multiple restrooms. There are also drinking fountains and at least one has a water bottle refill spot. The museum parts and the models are so fun and there are a million details to enjoy! Plus, who doesn't like carousel and train rides? Highly recommend for all ages!

Was great ! Even if you don't like trains. Plenty of picnic areas for your family. Super clean restrooms. I was about to leave when I noticed a building, I was so amazed ! It was the highlight of the park to me. They pretty much had every scale of train sets there inside of the building. That was the highlight of the park for me !!! Definitely go check it out !!!

I feel like what I read about this place did NOT do it justice! You can walk through a Pullman passenger train, see three HUGE model train setups that are interactive where the kids can wave to make trains go. It was absolutely incredible! The have a playground and a small play jail. The train loop was pretty large, but the train itself is just benches, but only $3/person. We spent about 2 hours here but could have easily spent 3-4.

Free entrance to the park area, a great playground, another wagon play area, wow! Add in a carousel that costs $3 per ride, and a cool train ride for $3 a ride (that goes around the whole park and has a fun section with Christmas decorations) and you got an awesome place! Our daughter loved it, she didn’t want to leave the playground she was having so much fun. The train and carousel was also a big hit! Their gift shop had very reasonable prices and we got a conductor hat that our daughter loved wearing. It was fairly crowded considering it was a Monday, but I can see why!

Must-visit park and attraction if you have young kids and are staying in the area! $3/ride for the carousel or train, which is awesome. You can also buy a day pass or book of tickets to save a little $. Train seems to have seasonal themes based on the time of year. It's quite a fun ride and both kids and adults seem to love it. There are several unique playgrounds and park areas so lots of room to play and roam. Little snack shop with ice cream and such. There is also a train museum, which we didn't make it to. On a weekday, this park was busy in the morning until after lunch and then it was super quiet for the afternoon. Keep in mind that the rides run more frequently during busier times. You can easily spend a day here!

Great trail. It is beautiful and scenic. I agree with other reviews that it is best to go before 10:00. We did the 4 1/2 mile hike and when we finished it was really busy at around 12:00 pm. My husband and 16 year old daughter liked it as well. We went in March. It would definitely be more intense in the heat.

Came here one evening for a photoshoot, and had to come back the next day for a hike! I can't recommend this place enough. Absolutely stunning during golden hour, and lots of trails of varying difficulties, so there's something for everyone.

Beautiful, accessible and well marked. This trail has it all! If you want to do a gentle walk or a hike. Depending on the time of the day you can catch a beautiful sunset. I highly highly recommend this trail.

First time hiking at this place. Excellent experience. There are knowledgeable staff(?volunteers) at the entrance to recommend which trail to take based on what you’re looking for that day. The couple ahead of us had a stroller, so she recommended a flat path for them. For us, we wanted a moderate climb, so she recommended the gateway loop. Their assessment of the trail was spot on - it was moderate difficulty with some steeper parts but no hands-and-knees climbing. We are rookies and were able to do it without any dramas, but definitely bring water with. The trail was 4.5 miles and took us around 2.5 hours with stopping for the views and water. The trail felt safe but still a moderate challenge. Some loose gravel here and there but nothing crazy. The one thing is that is was a bit busy, as it was a Saturday, but nothing too crowded. Views were excellent and well worth the journey up. The facilities are good - there are bathrooms at the trail head and places to fill up water. The map was clear and the trail is very well marked. I highly recommend.

A fabulous first hike for us! The 4.4 miles loop was a good challenge and provided beautiful views. The staff were extremely helpful and kind! We will be back!

We hired this trail for a bachelorette party with a group of 10 girls. We visited at the beginning of March. The temperature at 10 in the morning was about 55 degrees. The sun was shining, and there was a little wind, and once we got moving it was very comfortable conditions. The trail we chose ended up being about 1.8 miles and ended us in the parking lot. There was a volunteer right when we got inside and he offered to take a group photo for us in front of a very large cactus! It was the perfect setting! All of the volunteers we ran into were very friendly and knowledgeable about the preserve. We had another volunteer offer to take a group photo of us and that was very awesome! There were parts of the trail that were rocky and some parts that were steep, not too steep for people not to be able to tackle though. I highly recommend this for any type of group or even individually. The sites and scenery are breathtaking and I went back by myself for a sunset and it was beautiful. There is a public restroom at the entrance also!

Wonderful loop trail. Plenty of parking available even though we did have to scout for a bit to find an open slot. It was free and open to the public. The trail was 4.5 miles total with a slight incline on half of the trail. Be aware that there are loose rocks as well. Thought it was a lovely hike. Bathrooms we're well maintained and had water fountains to fill up your bottle

Excellent place to visit!! We visited the trail in late December and had a great time with the family. This trail offers great views, easy trail options, along with fantastic volunteers to point you in the right direction. On site facilities offer filtered water, bathrooms, and plenty of information to help you get where you want to go. We even saw a road runner on our walk back from Saguaro loop, the kids loved it!

Great place for a hike. Morning warmed up quickly in April, so would recommend an early AM hike. Friendly staff greeted us and provided us a map/ info with suggested trails as we had never been. Good place for birding in morning. Restrooms and water. Lots of free parking.

I met my friend and her daughter on the trail to watch the partial solar eclipse. The trail was very busy for a Monday due to the additional Basketball Final 4 travelers and everyone was very friendly. A couple of women kindly shared their eclipse glasses with us and we continued to share them with people on the trail as well. After the eclipse we hiked one of the shorter trails. There is a trail for every ability.

Great place to go hiking!! If you want details, I highly recommend checking it out on AllTrails! The Gateway Loop is a great one with amazing views. There is also a small loop for families with kids looking for something a little easier. What we love about the Gateway Trailhead is that there are a ton of hikes for people of all ages and abilities that start from this spot.

VISITED MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2024; AN HOUR BEFORE DARK We have been visiting AZ for a number of years. And in the past we would go to Papago or Camelback Mountain. This time we ventured out of our usual… I truly enjoyed this trailhead. You did feel like you were hiking up a mountain. As you start, you walk over a short footbridge to the trails. Although, it was cloudy, we still got some great pics. It was a lovely way to end the day!

Very scenic and very crowded trail. The Gateway Loop Trail connects with other trails that are of different lengths and difficult. Dogs are allowed but have to be leashed. Best done in the winter, fall and spring as there is not much shade and summer Temps are too hot.

Great, moderately challenging trail. No wonder it's so popular. Clean and well maintained trailhead washroom facility & water access.

Beautiful scenery and an even better hiking trail! Not to challenging if a hike, the elevation changes are always the most challenging part in my opinion. Glad we went earlier in the morning when it was nice and cool. I’d imagine it gets quite hot. Beautiful landscape and more Cacti than you can count! So much diverse wildlife! love how they have educational tidbits as you walk!

Beautiful hike! The trail is very walkable. About four miles, but most of it isn’t very steep. The views are stunning and you feel like you’re in the desert. If you don’t want to see other people I’d recommend going early.

My time at Pinnacle Peak Park was incredible. The hiking trail was well-marked, and the views at the top were breathtaking. It's a great place to connect with nature and get some exercise. Plus, the desert landscape is stunning. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves the outdoors!

Perfect hike! Just the right level of difficulty for beginner to slightly more advanced - we saw every level of hikers along the way. The views are outstanding with several amazing outlook/rest stops along the way. The trail is one way out/back. Clean bathrooms and water available at trailhead. Great park guides there as well.

Good hike, nice views out is an out and back trail. Depending on fitness level it would be a easy/moderate hike. You are in the sun so plan accordingly with water.

What an amazing hike, especially accessible if you are staying at the Four Seasons Resort. This is a very easy hike accessible to most who are interested in a walk uphill. There is much Beauty to see especially when the cacti are in bloom! Keep a lookout for hidden lizards and other wildlife while hiking through this park.

Gorgeous! Clean washrooms. Great places to sit at the bottom of the trail and watch people climbing up and down. My friends really enjoyed their hike to the top and back down: a very busy trail. For me (I have mobility issues and don't hike) it was easy to do a bit of the bottom of the trail (wide and fairly flat) and view all the saguaro cactus and other desert vegetation. If you are lucky, you may see some mule deer: I did!

Really enjoyed my hike at Pinnacle Peak Trail, Scottsdale, AZ today. The total distance is just under 4 miles out and back. I started mid morning when the temp had already reached 90 degrees... By the time I got back to the car ~ 2,5 hrs later, I was *fn exhausted! Note: it's a well maintained trail, with a great view of a beautiful desert terrain. Also there are distance signs every quarter mile so that you know how far you've hiked. Highly recommend Pinnacle Peak Trail for an easy/moderate hike.

Beautiful hiking trail. Close to the city but it feels like you're far out in town. Amazing view of the valley! Fantastic cacti shapes. We hiked in the fall, nice and cool. They close early during this time. It opens at 6:45 AM and closes at 5:30 PM. It takes half an hour from the visitor center to the highest point. Or it depends on your hiking speed. Easy to hike!⛰️🥾🌵🏜️

So many sick fish in the aquatic tunnel it was upsetting. Their heads were wasting away. Also quite a few big fish in tanks too small to thrive. Its great to learn about species but they should be in biotope tanks that provide space that is large enough so they aren't in a prison. Couldn't find my way out by the theater. The exit was inconspicuous behind a half closed curtain and a stroller sign, just looks like a storage space. The staff were incredible, they were really friendly, informative, and clearly passionate about their job -5 Stars for them! I'm super happy the dolphins are no longer there in captivity. Its fantastic to see the VR option. You should retire the touch tanks and make simulations. No living thing likes to be poked and proded all day. I would 5 stars for larger enclosures and quarantine tanks for sick fish.

I've been to some really large aquariums with almost too much to see, this place is on the medium size I'd say, definitely able to see everything in a timely manner. My son had a blast. The stingrays were one of his favorite things, being able to touch them is always an interactive joy. My one and only gripe was the temperature. We went just as it was starting to heat up outside, unfortunately the top section you start at was really hot. It seemed to cool down more as you went downstairs. But if you're looking for a place to cool down and get out of the heat maybe take these facts into consideration... Otherwise staff were great and exhibits were done well. The rotating aquarium was a surprise and I got a kick out of that! Definitely worth checking out the bathroom! 5 stars if it weren't blazing hot upstairs, and maybe it was just seasonal?

What a great & family-friendly aquarium. The layout is excellent, affording the maximum number of people a great view of so many exhibits! The girls loved the otters, penguins, sloths, butterflies, and sharks. There is so much to see and do, I don't think you can possibly experience it all in just one weekend. The butterflies are not to be missed, I definitely recommend adding that to your ticket, it's so worth it. We rode the undersea adventure ride and really enjoyed the individual talks by the marine biologist caretakers. There is plenty to do, see, and eat, and it is perfect for families.

Was some much fun with lots, to see. There are a few interactive things for the kids. They have a few experience on the weekend, so if you would like to dive with some string rays or hang with some penguins, make sure you go on the week. This was a little bummer as we went on a Friday, and these were not available. They end the hole thing with a fun ride like exhibited. Staff was amazing as the power had gone out during our ride, and let us come back in to finish when the power came back on. We spent just o er 3 hours enjoying everything.

Super expensive ($150 total just to enter for 2 adults and 1 child) but it is pretty great. The bathroom has a view into the aquarium which is very cool. The exhibits were very well done and the aquarium is spacious enough so you're not shoulder to shoulder. Plenty of interactive experiences and places to stop for food and drinks in the middle. The spinning room is included in the ticket price which was a nice surprise. The animals are so beautiful to watch. Facility is clean and staff was nice. Overall a good experience despite the high cost.

What a fantastic place! We drove all of the way from Tucson to come here and it was well worth it. The exhibits are pretty phenomenal, and they have a very good variety of animal species to view. They even have some birds and reptiles. The different species of jelly fish were amazing! We went during the week so it wasn’t crowded at all, and we could really take our time because of that. We spent a few hours here, with young children, and they were extremely excited and happy the entire time. The touch pool and Stingray touch tank were very fun for the kids, and kids at heart. The escalator was shut down unfortunately, and right when we were about to join the rotating exhibit they had to shut it down for awhile. Thankfully, they did let us walk through the exhibits anyway so we didn’t miss anything. The staff was super friendly all around. I would love to come back and experience the penguin encounter, and put on a wet suit for the large tank experience. If you can go on a day, where it’s not going to be packed with people, I definitely suggest you do that. At least for your first visit. I think it’s a big part of why we got to see and experience everything so pleasantly. I can’t wait to come back here!

Went to the first annual fish and sips. Had a great time! Very relaxing and enjoyable. They had a person playing the violin in a quiet area with tables and chairs and tea lights. Loved it. Everything was closed outside of the aquarium though. Would have liked it more if other places were open.

I won't give a perfect score on this because I think the pricing is unnecessarily high. For any child 2-12 the price is $31.95. For adults the price is $41.95 for adults. An adult is anyone over the age of 18. Why would I pay adult pricing for my 13yr old and then also be charged for my 2-4 year old who won't remember the trip in 2 weeks time? Kids don't start truly and deeply forming memories until 4-7 years old AND kids are not adults until they are 18 by state law. Why make it harder than it needs to be for families to be able to afford to take their kids out of the house and do something educational? Pricing aside the aquarium is nice. They have a great variety of sea life to look at and they did a great job on their displays. It was definitely very crowded at the twilight session and that did affect the overall experience. The stingray petting area people were shoulder to shoulder. The water play table people were standing shoulder to shoulder. If we could afford to take all of our children during day time hours I imagine it would have been a slightly more enjoyable trip.

OdySea Aquarium is fun for the ENTIRE family! It is worth every penny! They have a variety of different ticket packages and love that they offer discount tickets @ $31.45/person after 4:30pm (they close at 7pm). I definitely recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time. The experience is phenomenal- both educational, relaxing, awe- inspiring, all of the above! Visiting on a weekday after 4:30pm is your best bet to miss the crowds… it thankfully wasn’t too busy on our last visit but the place certainly gets packed! They have a variety of other attractions in the area as well- Butterfly Wonderland, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Laser Tag. We did not partake in any of these extra on our visit but they do offer bundle packages if you are into it! This is a great place to take family if they are visiting from out of town or an enjoyable way to stay cool in the afternoon and keep the kids busy. Don’t forget to check out their award winning bathrooms! Seriously, they’re insane!

Much bigger and more expensive than other aquariums I've been to. Well laid out with kids kept in mind. We could have spent all day at the sting rays. Don't miss the octopus, absolutely awesome.

Went to the Aquarium with my family that includes 8 and 11 year old boys and they LOVED it. The kids couldn’t stop running from tank to tank. Odysea has some VERY cool species that I have never seen before that I enjoyed a lot even as an adult. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they had a few exhibits closed to the public including the touch pool. Also the escalators were down so we didn’t get to descend through the glass tank tunnel and had to wind our way through office space to get between the levels. Nothing that could have been done about this on their end I’m sure, but it did take away from the overall experience. Either way I highly recommend going. And it is cheaper if you go after 4:00.

We were simply out of fun things to do this weekend and decided to try the Museum of Illusions at the OdySea Aquarium. Not a bad exhibit and worth the experience. This was our first time at this facility. It's totally a really nice and well thought out space, but it's definitely underdeveloped. This place could be so much more than just candy and ice cream shops. As an adult, there's not much to entice me to return. If you have little ones, there's lots to stimulate their little minds, including the aquarium. I wish there were just a bit more attractions here. I think with the right investors or planning committee, this place could be an incredible destination for families and people of all ages.

I took my preschool class here on a field trip and they loved every minute of it. We weren't able to get a guided tour, but the introduction by one of the staff was excellent and funny. Both touch pools were open during our visit which made our experience even better. I would recommend visiting the restroom at the entrance before going upstairs. There is a window into an aquarium instead of a mirror so you can watch the animals swim by as you say your hands. Definitely worth the trip.

Wow this probably one of my favorite aquariums that I visited. It has super friendly staff and very interactive. Some of the interactive displays were touching the Russian sturgeons and see crustaceans. They also offer virtual reality experiences in the odyssey voyager tour. I would definitely come back in the future.

Entry is really expensive but my toddlers had an amazing time. Each aquarium was well maintained and it didn't have a bad odor. Not going to lie I got so excited to see the penguins so adorable 🥰

This aquarium is amazing! It is a great family experience from young to old. We spent about 4 hrs here but definitely could have stayed longer. It is a unique aquarium experience with interactive attractions. Will definitely go back.

This is an Awesome Aquarium. I have been to a few others, but nothing compares to OdySea Aquarium. My only complaint is the price, but honestly it's worth it if it's your first time. There are a ton of cool exhibits. And there are a bunch if sweet looking fish. The employees are friendly and helpful. Tod is great, he's very knowledgeable about the fish and very willing to tell you about them. 10/10 would recommend.

Great place for a family outing, but it is quite pricey, $45/adult & $35/child (2-12). Not sure if the weekends have a lot more shows going on, but we were only able to catch one show at the end of our visit. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and there was a lot to see!

Lots of different marine wildlife to view here. They have VR movies you can watch, a Starbucks inside and stingrays you can touch. Lots of things for the kids to do. Lots of amazing fish to see. They have alligators and sharks to see. They have a mobile fish tank ride that you can see some really stunning marine creatures in the different tanks that you spin and see. They also have Penguins! You can watch through a glass tunnel to see fish swimming all around you as well! Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

This place is absolutely worth the money. We are from Seattle and this aquarium puts ours to shame. We kept thinking we were at the end but the exhibits kept coming! The rotating aquarium was one of the highlights along with touching the sting rays. My kids loved this.

This is a great aquarium for kids and adults. First stop, entrance bathrooms! You’ll love seeing the sharks up close! The aquarium itself has a significant number of "touch the animal" exhibits for the kids to do, I went on a kinder field trip and they had a blast. They have excellent education scattered throughout. The facilities, grounds, and staff are attentive, sweet and accommodating.

This aquarium was awesome. You could see sharks from the bathroom. It was new and clean and well kept. The staff members were knowledgeable and very kind. They had these amazing fish globes hanging from the ceiling in the entrance and a 360 degree revolving theater that showed all of the major aquariums. There were penguins and a sloth and a toucan. We were able to touch rays in an exhibit. It was a lovely way to spend a day.

Fantastic experience for all ages. Largest selection of marine animals in all of Arizona. They have interactive exhibits to touch sting ray and other fish. Also after 430pm all tickets are 30% off making it much more affordable. I highly recommend this aquarium, you'll have a great time

Took our 6 year old grandson and he loved it. We spent about 3 hours there. He particularly loved touching the baby stingrays and watching the larger ones in the big tanks.

I loved this place... it's a loop ... you can not go back in if you miss things ... make sure you take your time on each attraction. Think BEFORE you get onto ANY escalator if you are done with the space you are in. If not dont board it and go back and look at stuff. Please stop at the bathroom in the lobby BEFORE you get on the first escalator. The bathroom had a picture window to the shark tank at the sinks and is very cool and you can't come back to look later. They have a Starbucks inside the second section which was nice I got a drink and took a break there. They have a spinning room with seats 💺 do that before you get on the second escalator.

Such an amazing time at the aquarium with the family. I think this aquarium is must see if you are visiting the area. Fun and interactive. The kids loved petting the rays and seeing all the different aquatic life. Oh, be sure to check out the restrooms by the entrance. Best restrooms ever. LOL

It’s 30 min from old town and the shuttles don’t start till 4 everyday. The staff try to swindle every check! Be sure to confirm all of your charges there! The pool was pretty dirty. It’s salt water. The rooms are gorgeous. The sheets and towel are horrible! The spa was great! Food was surprisingly awesome but again… everything but the cafe didn’t open till 4. Overall is was good but not enough to return. I just felt like the general agenda there was to screw you over every chance they got vs actual hospitality.

Can not wait to go back! Pools are large and comfortable. The rooms are very nice, ( not huge) but then again I was in a Deluxe room with pool view....lots of food choices, casino is huge and lots of fun. Only downfall drinks are not complimentary.

This is my first time coming to this location. I planned a little stay-cation with my wife and got a deluxe room. Once we arrived we checked in and went straight to the room, in the room we were on the 9th floor with a great view and the room was very clean and neat!! The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are quiet and it has a great shower!!. Went down to enjoy the pool, got some drinks and later that night did some gambling. Over all we both had a great time and can not wait to go back!!

I absolutely love that this is a smoke free casino!! Keep it that way please and you will always get five stars from me!! This place is always good to me!! If you're staying in the Phoenix area and don't want to be downtown, this is excellent option! Rooms are nice. Casino is awesome. Pool is the best in town!!

My group had the most memorable experience. We spent the whole day there! Got our massages in the AM then relaxed in the hot tub and pools in the evening time. They have bars near the pools too so that was nice to be able to have drink options so close. Our massages all went well and we left feeling super refreshed. My favorite part was taking a shower with the views! So much fun.

Very nice resort. We went to check out the decorations & found a beautiful area with native items. Some were amazing & the photos & pictures were wonderful. One set of native people was done to were they looked like the photos were antiques. The artistry of all the items on display are hard to describe, but they were breathtaking and beautiful. We ate at the Blue Coyote Cafe, food was amazing. We were informed that every thing is made fresh and you could tell it was freshly made. Many things to choose from, we had a hard time deciding what to get. The grilled cheese with bacon & fries was delicious, we also got the two eggs meal which also come with hash browns. Another person got the Asian noodle dish, we couldn't stop talking about how good everything tasted and shared samples with each other. Definitely a place we will visit again. Views are beautiful from the back window area looking to the mountains.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. the rooms were super super clean. I should know because I've worked in housekeeping. housekeeping went above and beyond. they showed me how to drain the tub as it's not the usual drain stopper. the shower and tub in our room was amazing. The restaurant/ cafe was amazing. staff was so kind and help me order the best on the menu. see picture of breakfast under 20 dollars 😱.

We stayed here for a quick night! One thing to note, the resort and the resort amphitheater are not at the same location, so if you're seeing a show there, don't make the same mistake we made and stay 30 miles away by accident. Aside from that, we had an utterly wonderful time here. Decent gaming floor, loved the Blue Coyote Cafe (make sure you look for the picture behind the reception desk of the coyote with a hot dog). Floors could have been cleaner. There were dirty cups and bags of trash along the hallways that weren't picked up the whole time we were there. Loved our room. The mattresses were so comfortable to sleep on. Excellent Aircon. The pool looked super fun and I wish we had time to check it out!

Great place to go when you have some extra money. The recently added sections where the Poker room and buffet used to be are really nice, and the slots in those new areas seem to pay out well. I only wish they would bring back the $5 buy in Blackjack tables.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was so happy with our stay. Service was very good all staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and beautiful. Views here are amazing! We can’t wait to go back!

nice place. Hotel rooms were good but I don't like a rain shower head much. The water didn't get cool for my other family members in the shower. it was either hot or super hot. the ocean seafood restaurant was pretty good. the Mexican food was decent as well. the players card does not offer much in terms of benefits vs places like MGM. like most casinos in this area you have to pay for drinks even when gambling which to me just rubs me wrong. If you ask the Pit Boss to buy you around though you might get lucky though.

I have no complaints about this resort. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and professional. Our room had pool and mountain views and it was so nice to open up the windows to the view in the morning. The showers have waterfall heads and are spacious, no bench seat though. They have employees driving golf carts around the large parking lots to pick you up and take you to the front if you have long walks. The place as a whole just has a fun mood and energy as a whole and definitely has my husband and I excited to come back in the future. I will be recommending this place to those I know!

Junior suite over looking the golf course and pool with an oversized balcony served amazing views for sunset and to wake up to. The renovated poker room is the best I’ve ever been to. The drinks are a bit high with beers at $8 (even when gambling), but still highly recommend a visit.

We went for the casino action and had a blast. Me and the crew stayed a few hours on the blackjack table with some amazing dealers. Everyone of the dealers had outstanding personalities and even coached a little knowledge for the table rooks. Definitely be back! Thanks again!!!

The front desk clerk was cordial, efficient and kind. The room was very clean. They had a beautiful soaking tub. Wished we had a longer visit. We will plan it better next time to stay longer to enjoy the amenities. Unfortunately, we were only there one night. I am looking forward to returning to enjoy the hotel amenities!

The rooms are nicely appointed and provide a comfortable place to rest after a long day of exploring. The service here is top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay. One of my favorite things about this place is the variety of food options available, ranging from casual bites to more upscale dining experiences. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, making it accessible for a variety of budgets. Getting here is easy, and there is ample parking available, which is always a plus. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Nice local resort. Enjoyed the live music in Friday night and the food at the restaurants. Prices weren't that out of line. The gaming however was a bust. The machines eat $20s as an appetizer. It loves $100 too. No joy I must say just watching your money go down the drain. It doesn't matter how colorful the machine is..

Casino is nice. Like clean, well lit, and lots of nearby people if you need assistance. I really cannot underline how *nice* this place is. Does not have that grungy feel like in other places. We play roulette and it was bumping on a Saturday night, but we found a machine that served 25 people at a time making craps, roulette and black jack at the same time. Min bet was 25¢ so right priced for some fun.

To start, it was super easy to get in an out of. Parking was fine. We went on a weekend where there was a pool party. A bit bizarre to me that people staying at the resort had to pay an additional cost to attend the pool party (the pool was limited access to people only with tickets) Next was the service. We were given a $25 voucher to redeem for the casino and we went to redeem it. We won an additional $10 from a scratcher as well!! The First Lady who helped us was so kind. We had to go back for additional help and the Second Lady was very condescending towards us and her coworkers. I wish I got her name. The whole experience was great. Close by everything we wanted to do including the aquarium and TopGolf!

If you want to get away and get a little vibe of the casino life in Phoenix, this is where you go located in Scottsdale not too far from Old Town. I really love this place. I came here because there was a U.S.A social gathering. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, but we were able to experience the food the service happiness to singing. It was just a great good time definitely a four-star visit.

I was winning hit payouts after payouts! Had hand pays adding up to 10,000 for the day . I stayed in the room for a rate of $135. The next day lost all my money. The room to book again was going to be $300. Tip to any professional gambler. Don’t stay the next day if u win they will get there money back

Location is great. The golf course is fantastic. I love the food. My favorite thing about the room was the shower and the bathtub. The bathtub will fill up in under a minute with hot water and is big enough for a tall guy like me. These guys did it, right

Spent a night in the RV lot here and all staff were fantastic. We had a gentleman walk us to the gift shop where you purchase your registration for the night. Which is where we met Viviana, who helped us around. Walked us to the different locations we needed to go to get checked in and gave us a rundown of the place. She was so kind and patient! Thank, Viviana for helping us out!

This resort is absolutely stunning. The pool areas are so nice. We had a ground floor so we could just walk right out to the pool from our deck area, very secluded area. The food there was so good. Room service was awesome, but expensive. The casino was fun. Machines are a bit tight. But lots of variety to choose from, same goes with the tables. If you’re ever planning a trip to a casino check out Arizona Casino.

Talking Stick was very expensive for us, but wanted to stay where the show was. We were not let down!! Every single staff member was polite and helpful! The rooms were clean and quiet. I actually won money off and on all day! We ate at The Blue Coyote Cantina and the food was excellent! Our waitress, Olivia, was friendly and helpful! We ordered coffee and muffins at The Black Fig in the morning, and everything was great! I can't recommend this venue enough! What an amazing experience!!

Booked a king bed with a scenic view, got two queens with a view of the construction and parking garage. Check in staff was rude to me ( probably because I’m heavily tattooed).. not sure Was charged a bunch of random fees after paying for the room. Ate at the restaurant orange sky Staff was super nice but food tasted like overpriced glorified hospital food, no flavor. Ended up not eating it Went to the casino, bartenders were rude and made my partner feel like an inconvenience Spent a bunch of money, and this was the first casino I didn’t win anything at all. Just felt like I was being scammed. Checked out yesterday and got charged for something randomly today… we didn’t order room service, we cleaned the room so I’m confused as to why I’m being charged more. I called and the lady who answered transferred me to automated line, said I have to email and should hear back in 24 hours… this is supposed to be a upscale resort but I had a motel 6 experience… this is unacceptable. Reviews and online conversations can have a big impact on business as we all know… maybe shape up the way your establishment is ran

I play here every year in a golf tournament for the Arizona Wireless Association. The 2 courses are nice and greens roll fast. It's always a good time. People are friendly. They remodel the casino main building often. Always new & up to date as far as aesthetics. They have some nice resturants, and a good vibe. I live in the valley, so I frequent the casino and enjoy myself when I visit.

Great Casino but why is there no soap dispensary to clean hands in the casino area? it would be nice to have some around the casino to clean hands. All the other casino's have them as you exit. Also, there is no restrooms. on the west side area with the new slots and poker room. Have to walk quite a ways to the other side of the casino to use a restroom

Nice place with great hotel rooms. Simple dining and retail opportunities are a little limited. Very nice upscale dining is more available. Golf courses are well maintained and very playable. Not all that challenging, however, and maybe a little pricey compared to other courses in the area that offer more intriguing design.

Know this... I've noticed that the machines are loser on Thursday or at least I win on Thursday's and lose on Fridays. Great atmosphere. When you get a players card for the first time they load it with $25.00! Downside is that you have to pay for your drinks even if you're playing and they are a minimum of $9.00...

Love Scottdale mall during the week. There are not many people. The people are all friendly. It feels really clean and I saw you can bring dogs inside the mall. I love every time we get to visit this mall. It's a really nice treat. Plus all the expensive designer stores are really cool to see in person. Makes you feel really special for a day. :)

This mall has everything from high end fashion to much more affordably priced stores. There is a wider range of entertainment style stores and the food court has some pretty great options. You will have to prepare for a lot of walking if you want to run through the entire mall as it is pretty huge with 3 main floors. I love the sports stores located on the 3rd floor because it has all kinds of great gift ideas for any sports lover. Great location and has a huge parking garage. There are many malls but not many in Phoenix that can quite match the quality and options that Scottsdale Fashion Square has.

We loved the Moonlit Cinema experience. They have corn hull and snacks available for purchase right on the roof. It's a super fun event for friends or family, you can hear the movie, but the headphones are also super comfortable. It was a little chilly, so we will bring more blankets next time. But if you park on level 6 of the parking garage, you don't even need to go into the mall. They scan your ticket right up on the roof.

Little expensive but enjoyable place. I had been to the mall with my 4 year old kid daughter and husband. We had a great time. Loved the food in Panda express, shopping in Macy's was so delightful. Mall is well maintained and kid friendly too. I would definitely visit the mall again rather than going to some other place with less scope of enjoyment. Rest rooms were little crowded and couldn't accomodate the people, hence there was a long queue. Over-all, great fun place to hangout with friends and family!!

This mall is wonderful! I stopped in here with some friends to kill some time, walk around, and find some quick eats. It was super clean, has some great high end stores, and is really open and bright. Def want to come back in the future to do some more shopping.

Great mall with plenty of stores and a wide selection of options in each store. It's a well kept mall. Not great for strollers or people with kids due to the amount of stairs and added wait for elevators. Outside of that, no complaints.

In an era of dying malls, this is a one that still stands tall. I came here at 10:30 am for an 11:00 am reservation at wonderspaces and was surprised at how dead the mall was, then by the time we left the exhibit (noonish) the place exploded and there were people everywhere. Really awesome to see! I especially enjoyed window shopping at all the boutique watch stores. Fun spot!

I don't shop here often but it is really clean . I was there on a Friday evening around eight not crowded at all I was on a mission .I was going to the Gucci store to pick up a present for my granddaughters birthday they were awesome. Did a little site seeing from there enjoyed myself I'm sure I will be back.

A rare, beautiful indoor mall that’s still buzzing with excitement, good restaurants, high end stores, and plenty of comfortable seating through out if your traveling with a non shopper. Parking is insane but they have valet in several areas and I’d recommend it! We come every year on Black Friday, what can I say it’s a tradition shopping all day and eating at the Nordstrom cafe is a must! Not an early bird no worries most stores kept the sale price all weekend. It really is a beautiful mall and has lots of high end stores…Bonus it’s decorated for Christmas this time of year!

Scottsdale Fashion Square has always been a good place for me to go and get fashion inspiration, as well as do a wee bit of shopping from time to time. At the time of this review, Scottsdale Fashion Square is still amidst some renovation, but is currently open for business. The main entrance is currently a bit more accessible than it has been for the past few months, and most of the renovations going on inside aren't too in the way for shoppers to go about their day. All in all, a fair location, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished renovations as well.

LOVED this mall. I came specifically to check out the new Christian Louboutin store which is very nice. There's a good mix of luxury and everyday stores - also noticed that many of the upscale stores have velevet ropes (plus security) to thwart the smash and grab crowd . They have a beautiful Apple store. Also an Industrious co-working space strategically located right next to Apple. Other trendy things include a bitcoin ATM and Forward which is one of those primary care membership services.

Enjoyed the mall, 3 levels, lots of stores and great high end shopping experience. I didn’t like the food choices though, wish they had more food options. We saw the new Lucid store and got a chance to test drive this amazing car! Overall, a fun place to hang out!

Best Mall in phoenix. Fashion Square in Scottsdale is a retail gem that truly deserves all the hype it gets. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the luxurious atmosphere and an impressive array of stores.

Place is the bomb if you want to get dressed up and walk around like you're one of the upper class! Harkins Theaters so classy they actually have a bar where you can pay $8 for a draft beer and they even have Dom Perignon Champagne! You pay a dollar more for the movie Admission then you would at some of the lower class neighborhoods! They also have underground parking which was really nice in the summer! I'm talking about the mall here with escalators and elevators on three levels not a hotel!

This is one of the best malls. It’s beautiful and has a lot of fancy stores and affordable stores together. The best stores are lush, forever 21, bath and body works. They also have Gucci store and other stores that you just go in to look around at lol. 3 story tall mall. Crowd is mostly classy or at least taking care of themselves. Not too many kids or babies.

So this is the first time I visited the mall. Basically we were visiting Arizona and we had a stopover at Scottsdale for overnight stay at the Hilton hotel, which I have reviewed separately. Coming back to the mall. This is a great place. It has lots of options. It has a lot of high stores credits huge they have valet parking as well as free parking available on the backside of the wall. It is open till 10 PM. I believe it is because of the holiday hours , overall we enjoyed the ambience. There are also a lot of unique art stores where you can buy articles from around the world. We are buying a few things oral nice experience. Unfortunately I could not click any photographs, so I have nothing to share.

So if you shop HIGH END STUFF this is your place!!! If you are a middle class citizen making middle class wages this is not the place to shop. It's a great place to people watch and get a good walk in. It's 3 floors of High End shops and a great food court.

Every store you could ever need! Huge mall. Great food court but not enough seating... It was like a survival game to get a table. There were quite a few high end stores as well. You could easily spend hours here.

Went to the Harkins theater here last night. Friends took me to a movie for my birthday and turns out it was on the top of the parking garage outdoors beautiful weather was great staff is very friendly and all the drinks snacks everything you need. Nice rows of lounge chairs and headphones so you can hear the movie nice and clear, recommend it to anybody who likes being outdoors. It's that time a year and rooftop movies have started again.. Be sure to get your seat

I cant wait to see what it'll become. I recently moved across the street and have watched the facelift daily since. The lux wing and restaurants are something straight out of the Mediterranean. Rarely have I seen such luxury and quality maintained in the US. I wish they'd have more late night options aswell as a few more midrange restaurants. Overall a great place to hang out.

I liked this place. It’s well organizer. Employees are very helpful. An employee spent a half of hour with me explaining various things about clothes and weapons in the Wild West. The exhibitions ere well presented with texts explaining everything. The staff was very helpful in any request I loved Curtis exhibition. The museum shop has a good collection of art pottery that can be bought there. There are plenty of parking places nearby. I recommend this place

This is a great museum with a number of artifacts related to western and Native American history. They are expanding and adding new exhibits in 2024. We spend a couple of hours there and had a great time. The museum technicians are very informative and friendly.

The museum is amazing!!! They give everyone a sheriff's badge sticker to wear for your visit. Everyone was fantastic and multiple currators stopped to tell people interesting facts and stories! The pictures and pottery on display were awesome to see. The history is fantastic and they have an additional art gallery on the second floor!

Amazing museum for western history fans. Focusing on Native people and cowboys. A lot of beautiful American Indian art and educational pieces. Very Interesting cowboy displays. A lot of fantastic sculptures. Just a little bit of everything. And very reasonable entry fee. I could go on and on. We found this by "mistake' and it was a highlight of our trip even though we were there for an Eagles victory over the Cardinals 😁. This is a must see. Get ready for a picture bombardment. I couldn't take enough!

It was definitely worth visiting. For parking, there's street parking or you can park in the Parking Corral. I spent about 3 hours here taking my time to read through all the signs. There was just so much to see. They have jewelry displays in the front, and then a gallery dedicated to Andy Warhol and his paintings. From there, there are some exhibits on ancient and modern pottery. After that there is a huge and I mean huge collection of Western artifacts. I love how there are helpful interpretive signs throughout and also laminated sheets near each glass display so you can distinguish what each item is. The shelves were towered to the brim with so many cool relics, and I really enjoyed seeing the fake backdrops that made you feel that you were actually in an old western town. Nearby was another gallery for a photographer. There are also TVs on that give you a glimpse into the artist lives. And the docents working at the museum are just super helpful and welcoming. Upstairs there is a gallery and artifacts from the Native American times. There is so much to see and do. Had a blast!!

This is a good museum with history of the American West. There are many works of art and artifacts, including paintings, sculptures made of bronze as well as wooden sculptures, saddles, spurs, guns, rifles, pistols, holsters, chaps, Native American pottery, clothing, jewelry and much more. There is also a gift shop. The building is very clean and is a beautiful building with giant cactus outside. There is a free underground parking garage.

Western art is not the highest on my list of things to see, but I am kicking myself for not discovering this museum until now. I have a whole new appreciation for the genre. The exhibitions are fantastic. Looking forward to future visits.

This museum has a treasure of art from the American West, Canada and Mexico. There's more than we could see in two hours and look forward to returning. Lots of oil on canvas paintings, saddles, western guns and belts. pottery and much more . A featured exhibit on our visit was Edward S. Curtis and there was much to read and discover from his work. The building itself is fascinating for build and design both inside and exterior (including a weeping wall that collects rainwater from the roof).

Great collection of Native American & and South Western memorabilia. Displays are clean & easy to read/follow without a guide. They did offer a guided tour.

Visited with my children for a field trip. What a magnificent experience!! The staff is very patient, creative and engaging. The museum exhibits and artwork are captivating and the children enjoyed every second.

I Love this museum. A must go to if you are visiting Scottsdale. To see Andy Warhols Geronimo. John Coleman's bronze statues and Hopi pottery that's 500 years old. Wow. Bring your out of town guest.

Cannot explain how wonderful this museum is! Rich western history paired with art. The museum is two levels with an outdoor exhibit as well. There are stairs and an elevator for those who need assistance to the second floor. Allow *at least* an hour. There are a few hands-on activities for kids including a scavenger hunt if they are interested. Found in Old Town Scottsdale.

My husband wanted to visit for his birthday. He loves western culture. The museum exceeded his expectations by far. We actually spent almost 3 hours there. I loved the sculptures the most! Everyone working at the museum were so friendly, helpful, and nice.

A very well put together museum. If you are interested in the indigenous and Western culture/history and wonderful artwork, this is the place you could easily spent a whole day at.

This was such a hit and miss experience. The museum has lots of interesting artefacts, but it simply fails to tell a cohesive story. we left after one hour, feeling we saw a lot but learned almost nothing. I think that arranging the exhibits chronologically or by culture would have helped to understand the larger picture.

Don't miss this. Take lots of time to take in this wonderful museum. The facility itself guides you from theme to theme throughout. Lots of statues, saddles, and memorabilia from the West.

There is certainly some interesting paintings and relics from the old west. $28 per adult was not worth the price of admission.

I recently visited Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West, and it was amazing! The museum is all about the history of the American West, and it's done really well. They have cool stuff like art and old things from the Wild West. The building looks fancy but still feels cozy and welcoming. You can learn about Native Americans and cowboys, and it's interesting. The museum tells stories about how the West was a long time ago. It's not too big, so you can see everything without getting tired. If you're curious about the Wild West, this museum is the place to go.

Today was the Scottsdale Stadium, which I think is one of the older baseball parks used for Spring Training. Although spotlessly clean with friendly & helpful staff, there is an sense of age about it and lacks a modern sensibility to it. I was also surprised, based on ticket prices, to see bleachers instead of stadium seats! The field itself was lovely and the fans treat each other well.

First time here for a spring training game, what a great venue! The stadium was clean and well staffed in the stands, around the stadium and at the concessions. No on-site parking, but relatively close. Close to Old Town Scottsdale.

Nice ball park and easy to get around. Thought there would more room on the lawn. Next time I go I definitely know to get seats. Giants Baseball Baby ⚾️!

This is a wonderful stadium and great place to see some spring training baseball. We arrived early to get parking, which was a bit easier then we had anticipated. Entrance to ballpark was easy, with multiple Entrance points. A great selection of food and beverages (pricey but what you'd expect). good team store.

One of the best stadiums for spring training, in all of Arizona The facility itself is home to the San Francisco Giants, and sits right in the heart of downtown Scottsdale In a traditional year, the Giants will play about 15 games in Scottsdale, and 15 on the road. The games are traditionally spread out through late February and March. The stadium itself is extremely well kept, and manicured perfectly. The stadium, has also installed new netting on the sidelines, to protect fans from getting hit by foul balls. There are a wide variety of seating options, and plenty of space to spread out. The GA section, in the outfield, is great for families with kids. It is essentially a giant grassy field, bring a blanket or a towel and have a great day with a picnic in the outfield Tickets usually start around $10 for general admission, and go up to about 250 the closer you will be to field. The stadium has a Four Peaks location, which is always busy but, offers visitors a taste of one of the best local breweries in AZ. If you want to stay out of the sun, make sure to sit along the first base side. Lastly, the stadium is a huge party spot on Friday and Saturdays. If you have never been, you need to go once to experience it. The stadium also has a San Francisco Giants team shop. It is open throughout the year, just check for the dates and times.

Great stadium for spring training. It's a perfect size and they're literally no bad seats. I definitely recommend sitting under the misters on the bleachers in the shade though it can get pretty hot.

Spring trading baseball! Son and I had a great day at the park. Staff is friendly and helpful. Getting in was a breeze but parking was rough. Food is good with prices being fair and not outrageously over priced. Though I don’t drink, you can still expect to pay about $15 for a beer. We’ll be back next year!

Great old school ballpark. Prices for food and beverages are VERY high. Spring Training games are best to attend Mon-Thurs. as Weekends tend to be more party atmosphere than taking in a game. Arrive an hour or more early and parking is a breeze in the Scottsdale Court/jail parking lot...AND FREE!

We came to see the SF Giants play in the Cactus League Spring Training. Stadium is very nice. There are lots of consession stands but you are also allowed to bring in your own food and factory closed drinks in plastic containers. Employees are very friendly and helpful.

Nice park, but not the best. No kids play area. Seats down the line were bad. If you can't sit behind the dugout or closer, just sit in the grass. But still, spring training is great.

So fun to see spring training. This was my first time, but my husband has gone many times. We got rained out, but it was still so much fun.

Great ballpark! Coke sponsored in case you are a coke or pepsi person. Easy to get to. The most choice of food is in the center.

Giants spring training is always fun in Scottsdale. The stadium is well located and the staff friendly. Something I enjoy far more now attending with a toddler. The park next to city hall is the perfect place to let our little one burn off some energy after setting through a long game. Only down is that the floats are gone.

Ball park is OK. Extremely limited parking, long lines for restrooms and concessions. Seating is very tight.

The enchanted maze was great. Lots of people and my son loved having a lighted non alcoholic drink. Great hot chocolate as well and cool shops to stop and shop at as well.

Wait a wonderful ballpark. Wide open spaces to walk around. Excellent team store. Plenty of food and friendly atmosphere. The seat views are spectacular and you can sit in the outfield grass and catch a game and sun at the same time. Highly recommend putting this on your Cactus League list of ballparks to see!

Really impressive facility and a great place to visit when there’s spring training! Expected higher priced food and drinks inside but it tastes good while watching the game. Clean restrooms and seating. Looking forward to be back soon!

Cool experience last season. Saw D-backs vs dodgers spring training. The field is great. Spring training games are awesome. Took row 10 behind home plate. Great deal for the seats. Probably won't see Kershaw that close up again in my life.

Great field, great atmosphere. I really enjoyed this place ton of different food a ton of different drinks good quality people the event staff was amazing welcoming oh and I plan on going to another spring training game next week and the week after. I would recommend valet parking it's just so much easier! Valet parking $40 inviting a spot in the lot is $15 with valet parking you don't have to worry about anything highly recommend it

We've been going to the Street Eats food truck festival for the last 4 years. And each time we've had a blast. There's music constantly playing. I promise you will find something that you'll like to eat or drink here. From corndogs to tacos, lemonade to cocktails in a can. This year we brought our own chairs and they came in handy. Even though it's still cool weather Az still has a strong sun. So we kept moving our chairs following the shade. If you haven't been here try it out next year. You'll have a great time.

After reading the reviews, my expectations were low. Surprisingly, it wasn't a terrible time. We spent just over 2 hours walking both the lit area and visiting the shops. Water will cost you $5 and soda $6-$7.50. Food is basically $20 for anything. Some shops are very overpriced, and others are reasonable. The lights are pretty, and there are a few different displays to see. The skating is an additional charge and it was very busy. There is a very cool ice bar, but that also costs additional ($40). I think the most disappointing thing was that we bought our tickets early and when we wanted to buy another ticket the night before, the ticket price had dropped almost $10. Somehow we were penalized for buying tickets ahead of time.

Such a beautiful spring training facility. Nothing better than a nice warm day, cold beverage & our Dbacks on the field! Win or lose. Such a family fun environment, a great team shop, food options, etc. If you've never been to this stadium I highly recommend you check it out. You will not be disappointed

We came for the Christmas light celebration. Definitely worth checking out. You can buy your tickets ahead of time and avoid the lines. There are absolutely millions and millions of lights. There is a maze for kids and family to follow where you try and find all the reindeer. They have all different types of food and drinks. Definitely worth coming and seeing and checking out the lights.

Gorgeous facility. Landscaping on the Rockies side is second to none. Fields are immaculate. Interior is uncomplicated, easy to find one's way around ... And the staff is super nice. Even Rockies personnel are courteous, something not always found at this level. Thanks to all for the hospitality and tour. Good luck to everyone :)

Went here recently for a dbacks spring training game vs the Rockies. Native Arizonian but my first time going. Was a great experience! Ticket prices were good and great views. Easy to get into and park. Relaxing and fun atmosphere (for a baseball game). Would highly recommend checking it out!!

I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon, watching baseball at a first class facility. The staff were all polite and accommodating and making you feel special. The facility was clean and organized in the openness was fantastic. The food court options were great, and they were beverages galore.

Great atmosphere and huge spring training facility. In my opinion if the cubs have their own stadium the d-backs shouldn’t have to share one either but oh well. Great game and left very happy especially with the Corbin Carroll autograph!

Great day at the ballpark. New netting separates the field from the stands this year so access to the players is almost impossible. If you are taking children for autographs or photos, get there early to get the players as they come out to warm up.

Great venue to see baseball. Tickets are pricey. Seats are good. Plenty of bath rooms. Best place to see spring training baseball. Staff was beyond nice and generally happy to have you at venue. Plenty of parking all purchases are made with credit or debit cards. Not the largest place but all seats or unobstructed.

Great hike. Decent workout but not overwhelming. The flowers were incredible 4/1/23. Good parking and very well marked. Definitely one of the best hikes near Phoenix.

There is a parking gate that closes after sunset, but it automatically opens if you're exiting. Fantastic place to catch the sunset. Hike is 1,200 feet cumulative elevation gain over 2 miles (one-way), so it's fairly steep but nothing crazy. Since it's so short I'd call this a moderate hike. Plenty of rocks to scramble or climb! And there were even ropes left hanging from the thumb when I was there. The trail is superbly maintained. Kudos to the City of Scottsdale or whoever is responsible. Very well signed. Impressive bathroom facility at the trailhead. Etc.

Best hike ever... quite the ways to get to but that makes it desolate and I love it. So much nicer than cramped trails like PP.

Very good 2.2 mile hike. I would say that it's a moderate difficulty, but to some people it could be on the challenging side. Only one or two small boulders. Took me just over two hours to go out and back. Very good signage.

Great hike, I wouldn’t call it easy though. Took us almost 2 hours to get to the top and back to our car.

Nice easy hike. Perfect 72 degree weather. Bring water. Restrooms are available.

Did this trail last September, I am not even a hiker but found it easy to trek. My wife on the other hand, slipped on the gravel while descending, broke her ankle, and had to be lifted out by helicopter, She is an overachiever. I really enjoyed the scenery so much different than Florida, very calming and serene, looking forward to a rematch, minus all the medics and rides to hospital!! For the record wife had surgery to repair damage and now has a plate and 7 screws, and is doing fantastic!!! We also really enjoy coming to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, awesome people, great food, and lots to see and do!!

Free admission. The museum is not very big but alot of history in the races. The cars that were displayed were awesome. We're from Michigan and Roger Penske is a hero in our state. He has done so much for southeast Michigan. Been a fan of his ever since I can remember. He's a generous and hard working man. It was interesting to see 2 of the cars that he raced. Small Cafe upstairs with some sandwiches and salads and pop. We enjoyed it very much 😀

Amazing museum of auto racing. Penske has a long and storied history with Indy, Grand Prix, and NASCAR. Many cars and upstairs is the trophy display. It is located at Penske car dealerships so if you like luxury cars or just want to see what a 3 million dollar Bugatti looks like it's fun.

As a lifelong Mark Donohue fan, it was great seeing his photo upon entry. I think Mr. Penske is probably one of our modern day 'Captain of Industry'. Men like him could really straighten out this country!

Hidden in plain sight the Penske Racing Museum is nestled in between the high end auto dealerships of the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, etc. Fantastic racing history. Actual Indy car, Nascar and F1 race cars both old and new. Surprisingly impressed. You can also tour the adjacent car dealerships. All for free.

Super neat, fairly small, but it was free. I always enjoy seeing info on my Home Town Unsers!

This is a small display of cars, perhaps about 15 to 20 of them that Penske had involvement in. As such, a worthwhile place to visit if you are in the area, especially since it is free. I especially enjoyed seeing Mark Donahue's F1 and Indy winning cars, though I wished there was a 917-30 and Indy Eagle. Also, I thought the PC5 was a Mclaren repainted, but learned otherwise. Walking through the high end car showrooms nearby was an experience in itself. One used Maserati was on sale but still over 6 figures;)!

Amazing free museum. If you (or someone with you) like race cars, you need to visit this museum. Race cars, trophies 🏆🏆🏆, historical photos. Not overpriced Cafe upstairs. From upstairs interesting view on dealerships.

Calling this a museum is very misleading. There are only about 12 cars to see with very minimal information regarding them. This is more of an extended showroom of the car dealerships it is sandwiched between. Don’t expect to learn any information or have many photo ops, this is just a place to kill some time while you’re waiting to get your car serviced. They have a second floor but it was closed today. However, I was told all that is up there are trophies. The attendant at the front desk was very polite and the entry cost is free but aside from that it’s hard to find many positives. Some really awesome cars, however very little information about them, just the quick specs.

A fun place to visit for the entire family. Great selection of race cars. The connected high-end dealerships were also fun to look at the inventory on the showroom floor.

Excellent museum to see some history of Penske racing. Lots of history related to Indy and NASCAR racing and some very cool cars. Best of all it was free. It’s located at the Penske Auto Plaza so there are a lot of nice exotic cars for sale there as well and to drool over.

Went out to have a look around the Museum ... Pat game me a personal tour with stacks of information and stories, very impressive.

Took my 6 year old Grandson when they came to visit from Colorado. He is obsessed with Formula One cars. He was so excited to see them up close. It's open free to the public. He was so disappointed that there was not a gift store so we could find something he didn't already have. They are very hard to find as a toy with a driver. We the Adults enjoyed looking at all the new cars on the lots!

If you love auto racing of any kind this place is worth a visit. Tucked in a Penske dealership. There are plenty of open wheeled and NASCARs to see. With tons of trophies up stairs. Even has a row of original Indianapolis Motor Speedway bricks.

Fun free museum for car and racing lovers. I'm not either of these things but still enjoyed the history and the photos. The little boys and adult boys loved it. We will have to return on a weekday when the upstairs cafe is open as it looks like they have miniature car models to view. We also just missed the 3rd Saturday of the month coffee and cars that ended at 10.

Free exhibit. Great place to see Formula 1 cars.

For an Aussie it was great seeing Scott McLaughlin's 2018 championship winning car. It sure looked tidier than when he finished the post race burnout. Also cool seeing Will Power's car and the rest of the Penske collection.

Arizona Registry of Historical places. What an extremely interesting place to visit. The concrete domed buildings were cool today while 90 degrees out. Work shop areas are visible for both metal foundry and ceramic kiln. Retail area is full of all types of wind chimes.

Fabulous little secret in the Phoenix area. Just WOW and the fact that Paolo Soleri built this amazing place where the artisans lived back in the late 50s and 60s is mind boggling.

Upon landing in Phoenix recently, we were greeted by friends of ours from way back who now live near the Cosanti studio; they had a wonderful wind chime for us to remember our trip by. Imagine their surprise when I told them I was familiar with Cosanti bells. We later stopped by the studio before heading to Sedona and beyond. Unfortunately, our timing was off, so we were unable to watch them pouring bronze bells (go in the morning if you want to watch them making bells); but the staff was very happy to talk to us and answer any/all questions we had. Tours are offered free; donations are encouraged. One of the first things we did upon returning home was to order a Cosanti wall bracket for our bell. They shipped it immediately - we had it within three days, clear across the country. And, our wind chime now hangs on our back deck - reminding us of our wonderful trip to the desert southwest and the incredible National Parks just north of Phoenix. By the way, who has a gift for guests coming into town? Very thoughtful friends, that's who! And, we absolutely LOVE our Cosanti bell.
