My 7 year old son had this on his summer bucket list so we drove 6 hours to get here. It was well worth the drive. The size of the place is mind staggering. A very well organized and engaging museum of science, culture, history, and an endless amount of learning opportunities for young and old alike. Surprising you around every corner. Keeping children engaged in large and small hands on spots from the 1 st floor to the fourth. I cannot recommend this great gem of a museum enough. If you can drive and know a child who will accompany you, make plans now to visit. You won’t be sorry!

Nice museum but not the top. I would expect more for smaller children. You start your tour among the dinosaurs and end up on carrousel. I would say it is more for older kids as there is a part dedicated to Greece and also inspirational stories of Anne Frank, Ruby, etc. This is very well done with useful information. I mean, definitely the best part. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and nice. The outdoor part was unfortunately closed due to heatwave.

This place is very nice! A lot of walking, so make sure you have on comfortable shoes. I love their different exhibits; the kid history and Greece were my favorites. I appreciate all of the hand sanitizing wipes and liquids that they have placed around the museum. The outdoor sports center was FUNNNN! My boys loved being able to play all the sports. Make sure your kids are wearing closed toe shoes. The place was spotless, even the cafeteria and bathrooms. I appreciated the free parking. The only con is that the food place closes pretty early, so if you plan to eat there, arrive before 2:30. If you are visiting from out of town and plan to go to the zoo and children’s museum, purchase the Indy Pass to save. You can visit both within 24 hours if you purchase the day pass. We arrived at the CM at 11:30 am, then made sure we arrived at the zoo by 10/30-11 am the next day.

Went there on president day. The place was packed. All the children were enjoying themselves and actively participated in various activities. This is a well organized and beautiful place. All the parents should take their children there for a pleasant outing.

We had a spectacular time!! Garage and Lot Parking is free. Park on 3rd level for easy skywalk access. Take 4-5 quarters for single use lockers. Plan to spend the entire open time there! It blew by and we got to do everything without rushing. You can bring your own food!

What a great place to take kids. Very clean and well maintained facilities. The Ryan White exhibit got me all chocked up. They allow reentry all day so bring a cooler. The outdoor experience was great too, with tons of space to run and play.

We had a great day at the museum It was a bit busy .The kids still enjoyed it. They really liked the dino area..Would like to go back during the week when its not to busy. The tickets were 34. Each and snacks were $10. for each kid.We didn't know you could take your lunch in ,will do that next time.

We had a great time. I did think it would be more engaging for the kids. There was a lot to learn, as expected for a museum. But, not a lot of FUN engaging activities as I expected. The kids did enjoy themselves. We had to wait over an hour to get into the Minecraft exhibit. It is new so we kind of expected that. Definitely buy tickets online!!

- Love this museum. It’s huge! - There are so many activities to do for kids and I like the way they also incorporated activities for adults as well. My favorite was the interactive music. I didn’t upload pics because I do not want to post people’s faces without permission. - I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. There was a long line when we arrived - not sure how fast the in-line purchase was though. - The bathrooms were not clean. I used one. But there was enough toilet paper and paper towel. - There are some sitting areas. I’ll recommend for parents with infants or others who may need it.

I grew up going to this museum and love bringing my 4 kids (ages 10 to 4). They love exploring different parts and the new exhibits. It is always clean, wonderfully nice staff and great play areas for all ages. The museum is always updating exhibits for the best experience and has so many fun random programs in each exhibit you can participate in! Plus, they have amazing safety measures if you ever need to use them. They will shut down the entire museum if you have lost your kid. They won't let anyone in or out and have all staff come out to search. (Not that I know this from personal experience 🙃) The family pass is worth the money. Even a day pass is worth it! You won't need to do anything else for the rest of the day! Plus, you can bring in your own food if you plan to stay during lunch.

LOVED THIS MUSEUM It is the best children museum I have ever been to. The outdoor area with all the sports experience was out of the world. We enjoyed golf, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, racing... it was amazing. The indoor area had so many interesting exhibits, including minecraft and pop art. We went when the museum opened. We left when the museum closed.

An awesome experience here. First with my kids, and now with my grandkids. Over time I have seen the admission price increase, but try to imagine the upkeep of all the displays, and it becomes understandable. There are way too many exhibits here to describe. Plan on spending hours here and having a great time. If you wish to save some money, eat at home and come here with a full belly.

Worth every penny. Tip : order tickets online at least a week in advance. I am a non resident so no extra discount. There is something to interest every age even adults. The Dinosaur exhibit was one of our highlights of the visit. There is literally something to do or see on every floor. The outdoor sports area was a marvel. You could easily spend hours here. It’s impossible to experience everything in one day. I’d love to get a season pass , we need to visit 2x more before the year is over.

This place is amazing! We took our daughter here and she loved it! The exhibits are diverse, interactive and very well done. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. There is just a ton to do. We spent several hours and didn’t see everything. They also have a very nice outdoor area with a lot to do. If you’re in the area, this is a must see if you have kids.

So much fun! Doesn't matter what your age is. I personally, haven't been here since grade school and seeing the trains brings back so many great memories. I loved to be able to share the experience with my family. All the exhibits were fantastic. My boys were thrilled to ditch school for a family - educational field trip!

Great place for fun, education, culture, and art. Great for kids. I really appreciated the kid-friendly exhibits that are low to the ground, and the kid-friendly bathrooms. The main downside is, since it's so popular, it can be packed and noisy. I mean, it was hard to talk to the person next to me, and at times I couldn't think straight. It's so huge, we didn't even do all the indoor stuff in one day.

We had a great time at The Children's Museum. Our 7-year-old loved the Sports Legends area, especially the paddle cars and treehouse. And he also really enjoyed the play areas on the third and fourth floors. The food selection is also great for adults and kids. 😁

It was so much fun and lots to do. We were there for about 5 hours and still didn’t get to see and do everything. Our favorite was the dinosaur exhibit in the beginning. It was very very busy and crowded but that was to be expected. Only complaint is that something different needs to happen to the food court. It was such a cluster and so crazy. Either needs a different system or add more restaurants. But I highly recommend everyone to visit. It’s great for all ages.

Hands down best children’s museum I’ve ever been too! My toddler and child enjoyed themselves so much they couldn’t stop talking about it in the car! The outdoor sports was mega fun and the museum inside was full of kid friendly activities and a toddler safe space it was perfect!

I’m going to give this place 5 stars. For one, nostalgia, I used to love going there as a child. I was able to bring my son back here about 30 years later and the updates, along with some of the nostalgia, didn’t disappoint. I will say that after about 11-12 years old, it only becomes worth it to see the new exhibits that come out a few times a year. We went to it recently and had a great time, but the NASA/Space area is the only standard thing my son was really interested in. Unfortunately, a couple of the activities were broken, which I’ve noticed in past visits also. I believe they are funded by donations and memberships and not sure if they receive subsidies, but overall they do a great job. The dinosaur exhibit is a must see for anyone and the sport area is a great new addition that wasn’t there when I was young, but that’s only open in the warmer weather. Add on: The winter fest snowball fight is a good concept, but they need to have different times for different age groups and they need to expand the play area. As you can see, it’s a giant cluster. Still fun, although more focused on 8 and under.

We've been here several times and it gets better every time! Between my and my bro in law's family there are four kids between 3 and 6 and they absolutely love it! I often think I want to visit here without them! The interactive dino coloring mural wall is always must see! And you can't ignore the giant dinosaurs you see busting through the walls on the drive up. The exhibits are engaging for all ages and if you go on the right day, it won't be too busy and you can jam around as you please! Don't forget the sports area off the main area and play with all the interactive games! Coach David was awesome!

We had an ok time. It was super crowded! So much so you could barely maneuver around between exhibits. Made it so the kids couldn’t get up to see stuff. We never made it through the half of the museum before they closed. That’s how packed it was. There should be a limit on how many tickets they sale each day so families can really enjoy the day. A few years ago, I had the privilege of visiting the museum. While the main exhibits remain the same, they are still worth your time and attention. Recently, I went on a day trip to the museum and found that it was extremely hot inside, and there were a lot of people there. This seemed to make some of the visitors irritable. Even so, it was still a worthwhile experience!

Wonderful place to visit and had lots for little kids to do! I especially loved the dinosaur exhibit and the kids play scape was a huge hit! The “inside out” temporary exhibit was super cute, and very creative.

Lots of bathrooms!! Very clean, great deal for the kids. Just an all around good experience, truly. The outdoor space and sports activities are super cool. They have to redesign the tree though so folks can go up and down, but I was thoroughly impressed with it all.

The place is certainly big and if you're tight with time, it's recommended to plan your visit in advance. There's always something for the kids to do, to play, or to have hands-on experience. Definitely designed with kids in mind. The outdoor sports center was a hit with the kids. They loved it!

I was expecting "the biggest children's museum in the world" to be way more fascinating. It is okay, with some interesting things, but nothing out of the ordinary. I felt it was missing some more activities that the kids could do to learn something. The outside playground was really nice and the kids enjoyed it a lot.

Phenomenal museum particularly the outdoor fields of sports - basketball, tennis, hockey, football, mini golf etc. the sports are customized for all ages. My kids spent half the day there. The indoor exhibits were pretty good particularly the dinosaur area. Being a children's museum, the only thing I'd say that could be improved is more tactile activities for the younger kids.

Though I'm not a racing enthusiast, I still thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Speedway Museum! We added the Kiss The Bricks tour to our day and it was well worth it. It was very informational and gave a great look into the track itself. The staff was some of the nicest I have ever interacted with at a museum. Right, when we walked in we were greeted and they helped us plan out our day to fit our interests. They truly made the experience even better!

The museum was very well laid out. I enjoyed looking at the cars, the winner wall and the other things in the displays. We chose to take the tour too and really enjoyed seeing some of the 'race day' behind the scenes areas up close. Our tour guides were fun and knowledgeable and I learned all sorts if interesting trivia. Frankly, not a fan, but still overall enjoyable.

I came here right before the remodel for the first time. I had a great experience and prices were cheap. The building was very clean and organized. We bought the tour bus tickets and got to kiss the bricks and take photos with pagoda from the track. The tour guide was very nice. We also went to the gift shop. They had a very wide variety of items that were fairly inexpensive

Excellent hands on experience of the most famous racetrack in the world. Took a bus tour of the track (unfortunately only at 20 MPH), got to kiss the bricks. Took a tour of the museum. They say every car starts up and runs. You can try to break a speed record in their video game race game (free). Price breaks on active military, veterans and seniors.

Great tour of the facility. We did the tram tour with 3 kids and it entertained them too. The museum has plenty of old cars to look at and examine. The information about the history is amazing! Ferrari’s were on the track the day we where there and sounded amazing.

I thought that I was not a big fun of auto racing until we visited this museum. I bought tickets in advance, just wanted to entertain my boys. When we came to museum we were offered an extra guided tour to the racetrack, Victory Podium and the iconic Pagoda. After visiting Victory Lane. We traveled to the top of the Pagoda for a breathtaking view of the Speedway and the surrounding downtown skyline. The museum is full of vintage cars, trophies, photographs, fine art, and other artifacts. So fascinating.

While temporarily closed, they are still doing tours when available. Took a great tour of the pagoda and got to see views of the track I’ve never seen before. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly answering all my questions. Seemed to be well organized even though they just changed locations due to closure of museum.

Enjoyed my visit at the Indianapolis Speedway Museum! Not really into the Indy 500, but wanted to stop anyway. It was really interesting to see the exhibit and cars of past years winners.

Even if you're not a racing enthusiast, you'll enjoy this stop. We added the tour to our package and it was well worth the additional charge. The guide was great, shared his life experiences as a Indy 500 fan which made the tour much more informative. Only item which couldn't be included was the speedway lap because it was in use by Chevy running Corvette test trials. Museum has many of the past winning cars and an interactive area with racing simulators.

Awesome experience if you are a race car fan. The toure around the track was really good. Lot of things to do. Plan to spend at least 2 hrs. It would still be a rush.

Had a great time visiting. Take a moment to get into a real Indy race car, plus a free 4-lap virtual qualifier was a good time. The main exhibit is smaller compared to similar (vintage) we have been in around the US, but it was still a great stop to make

Way cool! If you even remotely like cars this is a spot to go. They have cars from almost every era. The staff are friendly and plenty of things to see and do. They had neat simulators to try when I visited, super fun! The tour was informative and interactive, was told all the cars here function as well regardless of the date. They host team builder events too. Was definitely worth the visit.

A neat tour about the history of the speedway. You can take an on-track tour of the race course. They let you out at the starting line and give you a chance to "kiss the bricks" and take photos. Inside the museum has many displays that tell about the history of the speedway. There are many cars on display that won previous races as well.

If you are any kind of a race fan this is one of the most iconic tracks in the world! Unfortunately the museum is closed but we took the tour and visited the gift shop. Our tour guides were great and made the tour even more fun. We got to visit the winners podium and suites. There also happen to be a test of the new electric Hummers going on so we did get to see some of that. Overall great experience and I hope to come back for a race day and when the museum reopens.

What a fun experience! Definitely recommend the Kiss the Bricks tour! Buy tickets in advance! Give yourself a few hours to spend at the IMS! On the KtB tour, they take you on a 45 minute narrated tour around the 2.5 mile track and provide you with a wealth of history along the way! Once you arrive at the bricks (finish line), you’re allowed to exit the bus and take photographs, and even kiss the bricks like the tradition is for the winner of the Indy 500! The museum is awesome too! Many of the vehicles used to race are on display. There are interactive exhibits as well! At the end, there is a large gift shop with tons of items to purchase. We definitely recommend doing this tour if you’re ever anywhere near Indy or Speedway!

I came into the tour and museum with basically zero racing knowledge. I learned quite a bit about the history of racing and particularly the history of the Indy 500. I found it fun and informative and felt that the staff rolled out the red carpet for our group (we were there with the FFA during National Convention week).

The IMS Museum of "old" was a must visit for any motorsports fan, history buff, or Indiana native. It has always had cool up close displays of Indy 500 winning race cars, & cool Pace Cars from the Brickyard 400 & 500. I had to visit 1 last time before the remodel & can't wait to see the updated Museum in 2025! The staff has always been very friendly & knowledgeable about the displays.

While the museum closed on Nov 5, 2023 for renovations which will take 18 months to complete, they will still be offering tours of the race track, which was a highlight of our visit. You can even walk across the finish line and kiss the fabled bricks.

Overall it was an enjoyable trip for our family of four. When we arrived we had to park in the south lot and take a shuttle to the main entrance. This was fine, but it could use more signage as a out of town guest in an industrial area. Entry was easy (we bought tickets in advance), and staff were friendly. Exhibits were well marked, and the dolphin show was a lot of fun for kids and adults. The area by the cafe was shaded and nice to take a break to eat in. The plains area was nicely laid out with lots if room for the animals. Additionally, the entire zoo has a very clear linear path, which makes it easy to navigate. We were let down by the orangutan exhibit, only seeing a single one. The cost of admission, with parking, was just over $100, so not a cheap day. Overall, a little pricey, but our kids did have a good day.

I love the Indianapolis Zoo. I grew up in Indianapolis and I hadn't been to the zoo in a long long time. We live in Wisconsin now and I wanted my wife and kid to experience how awesome it is. So we stopped here for a 4 hour visit. It didn't disappoint. It got better since I was there when I was probably about 12 years old. My wife commented on how clean and well kept the grounds are. The exhibits are well thought out and have gotten better over time. It didn't even look like the Zoo aged at all. A definite must see when in Indy.

I've been a zoo member for the past 4 years, and it's truly a great place to visit! It's always clean, mostly all the staff are incredibly nice and they're starting to add more member benefits as well so that's a plus! I've really enjoyed the updates to the zoo and can't wait to see what else will come!

My first time I went here was during the eclipse. The whole Zoo was an absolute blast and they even let everyone out so they could watch the eclipse too. All the animals were super active too, which is nice. All the animal chats they had too were super informative. I also enjoyed all the different “areas” they had. Like walking with the kangaroos, the whole desert climate, the chimpanzee areas they’re making, everything.

One of my favorite zoos I’ve been too. Definitely try and time it for an animal showing, SOOO worth it! The trainers are experts with their species and the show is phenomenal and short enough that you won’t get bored or tired. The exhibits are spacious and considerate for each species, try and time it for an overcast day so the animals are more active. Definitely bring water or money for a vending machine. The bird rooms are also one of the best stops, for sure check it out after you stop to feed the giraffes! Lots of interactive opportunities and a great variety of species. Definitely worth the drive from Purdue!

Nice. Not overwhelming huge..but big enough...about 3 to 4 hours to see everything.... Lots of parking...and handicap spaces.. Lots of helpful friendly employees. Loved the dolphin show.. And a demonstration of macaws..beautiful birds.. Lots of big animals...elephants, giraffe, zebra, tiger, lion, cheetah... Variety of colorful birds...and reptiles.. Very nicely laid out..use a map....lots of restrooms...very clean and maintained.. Several choices of getting something to eat or drink stands..and outdoor tables with umbrellas..some inside eating too. Not included in your entrance price..is a mini roller coaster. A gondola ride over the orangutan outdoor enclosure...also fantastic view of the city skyline..its quite a high ride..but goes slowly. And a train around the zoo...(my opinion...i wouldn't waste my extra $$ to to ride it...just went by the back lot..zoo maintenance..weeds....didn't see any animals..just a train ride) And a carousel for the kids.. Overall..quite an enjoyable day.. And gift shop..

The zoo was beautiful .The atmosphere very calm relaxing feeling. Getting greeted at the entrance with a smile and good morning. The only thing I didn’t like was that everything you purchased had to be with a credit card from the beginning to the end . Than again it was my first time coming here I should of checked. Other than that everything was perfect we were there on a Friday from 10:30 to 4:00pm.

This was another great zoo! We love our zoos, and this one did not disappoint. The dolphin meet and greet was worth every penny and definitely an experience you should do with the children or even your adult self, not everyday you can go behind the scenes of the dolphins! The animals looked well taken care of and mostly active. All around, just a beautiful, well maintained zoo.

11/9/23- we went to renew our membership, which I recommend. If we didn't have one this would be an expensive visit without many of the animals out. I'm at work when my family comes to spend the day and today I had a good time with the animals that were there to see. I recommend stopping by the Oceans and learn all about the different fish. They have a section to pet sharks and sting rays. It's a cool experience and if you tell the employees you're new there they take time to tell you about all their names and ages. If you miss the Dolphin 🐬 show like we did, go below to watch them. It was more fun to watch from there. If you're buying a one time ticket make sure you're early and get ready to be disappointed. Lots of animals are put away for the winter. I'll update next time I go.

Great zoo, lots of nice animals to see. I wish the penny smasher machines were all up and running. That tiger gets really up close. Still had some animals hidden away because it's not "in season" yet, but I'd bet after Memorial Day that the place is much more exciting and fun with everything on and running. But we had a fun time and if we find ourselves back in Indy we'll definitely make it a point to visit again. The train ride is not for the larger folk, I got squished in fairly well just to ride with my kid.

Everything was clean and not very crowded. Animals were all really active and looked healthy! No concession places were open, but maybe that’s because it was during the week? Overall a fun experience for the family! Tip: Get the zoo pass! It covers parking and admission + guests!

Took the kids (8/11/15) in the afternoon starting about 2 pm. The zoo was decently crowded, but manageable. We really enjoy zoo's you can get through under 3 hours and this one was perfect. Since it was pretty warm, we got through it in a little over two hours. They have a lot of key animals most would really enjoy seeing. +Good size and layout +Under 3 hour to see everything (not read everything :) ) +Ray and Shark (dog) petting +They have most all the animals people want to see +Easy ticket and entry process +Butterfly Garden -Overall a decently expensive thing to do, but well worth if you've saved up -It was hot, but from Texas it was manageable

Very fun place! Lots to see! Kids love the petting experiences with giraffes, sharks and rays! Unfortunately they removed their playground area and splash area which was really disappointing. There are rides you can purchase tickets for but in addition to any pass or ticket. Still worth the trip!

The new re-design and gardens are BEAUTIFUL!! The chimpanzee walkway opening in May 2024 will be extraordinary!! The Halloween decorations and all the extras were just awesome, but we wish more of the animals could be on display. Our family can't wait for Christmas at the Zoo with all the lights!! Definitely a place we enjoy!!

Always beautiful, clean, and well cared for! Every single trip is better than the last. This was our very first Zoo Boo experience, and it was wonderful! The amount of love and care that goes into decorating this zoo is amazing. The Halloween decorations were so creative and placed all over the zoo for magic and fun around every corner.

We planned a trip to Indiana and went to the zoo. Before going, I read the reviews on here and felt a bit like I would be disappointed when I got there but I came on here to say DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! We had a fantastic time, all the employees we met were nice and caring. The dolphin show and meet and greet was amazing! Getting to touch the dolphins and learn about their rescue was lovely. Almost all of the animals were on exhibit. I believe only 3 were not. This is a large zoo with plenty to see! We were there from noon to 7pm and enjoyed every bit of it. I highly highly recommend going to this Zoo. Much better than the one here in Tennessee especially when it comes to their interactive exhibits. Feeding and touching birds, kangaroos, sharks and stingrays. 10/10 would go again!

It was real early in the season when we went so a lot of things were still closed from Winter. Best time to go is late spring or the summer. Despite still being chilly, many animals were out and about, even a few baby animals were in the enclosures! I got to see the dolphin show, and it was definitely something I'd like to see again down the road.

Great zoo. Very unique enclosures for the animals. A lot of walk thru exhibits that are included in your general admission ticket. I've been to a couple of zoos around the country and I would say this one makes the list on my top5. It might not be a huge zoo but it makes up for it because of the unique interactions you can have in some of the exhibits.

Really enjoyed our time here. Exhibits were closer to visitors than any other zoo I’ve ever been to. I personally enjoyed the butterfly habitat as it was large and FULL of butterflies. They do have a small train and rollercoaster which sets this zoo apart!

Great zoo. Decent variety of animals, staff was really nice and some really nice interactive exhibits. You can pet sting rays and sharks, walk with kangaroos and butterflies and mingle with flamingos. We had a great time for our Total Eclipse Visit! I would like to add that I thought their "first come first serve" idea for the Eclipse Day was good, although opening up the online ticket purchases at 8:30 without notice that it was going to happen left a bad taste in my mouth. I am imagining people that got there early, waited in line and could have not gotten in due to online sales (which half the people couldn't even get the site to actually work anyways). Did not affect us as we were first in line, but it felt a bit dirty.

A very nice zoo. I do recommend buying tickets in advance online. The admission price is more at the gate, and the parking is an additional charge. I will try to go again in the spring or summer as the zoo keepers are working on the gardens, and spring is just beginning. My group had lunch, and the smash burgers were everyone's favorite. We also spent a lot of time at the shark touch tank and in the butterfly garden.

Although smaller than other zoos in the midwest, compared to, say, Columbus or Cleveland, Indianapolis Zoo still has a great variety of animals and animal habitats. The star of the show are the dolphins though. The dolphin area is huge, considering how relatively small the zoo is, and the dolphin show is absolutely amazing. The trainers are true experts and run a fantastic show.

Beautiful stadium! Went for Gencon gaming convention. Got to play boardgames on the field. The place is amazing. Clean, comfortable. I would love to see a food ball game here some day. If you get a chance to visit, do it!

Traveled here for the NFL Combine recently. I was very impressed with the facilities, staff, and overall cleanliness. It was easy to navigate and felt safe. I actually found great free street parking within walking distance but there was lots of parking and the overall layout of the stadium makes sense. Sometimes these large scale events don’t have the proper logistics behind them but this was seamless! The concession stands were reasonably priced and standard stadium fare.

Beautiful facility! Convenient to just about everything. Plenty of hotels and food within easy walking distance. We found the section numbering to be a bit challenging, so pay attention and give yourself time. Craft beer selection could be better. Of course, everything is expensive.

Had a blast watching the B1G championship. Staff was friendly, it was easy to navigate, and concessions were reasonably priced for a football game. Sections are positioned so that even the upper sections still feel close to the field. My only complaint is that my team lost.

Great stadium! It replaced one of the smallest stadiums in the NFL when it opened in 2008. The Colts wanted a new modern stadium built in downtown Indianapolis that featured the same amenities found in new NFL stadiums. In December 2004, the Colts and the City of Indianapolis agreed to construct a new $720 million stadium for the team. The Colts contributed $100 million toward construction with the remaining amount coming from the State of Indiana and the City of Indianapolis. On September 20, 2005 construction began on the stadium, adjacent to the RCA Dome. In March 2006, Lucas Oil Products bought the naming rights to the stadium for $120 million over 20 years.

It’s been a bit since I’ve been back. But the experience was great. View and atmosphere was amazing first time sitting on this side of the football field and the seats were still great. But I do hate the prices of drinks I feel like they are a little much. Food is so so I feel like this could be improved as many football stadiums and baseball stadiums I’ve gone to this is one kind of disappointments me on food. But overall the cleanliness of bathrooms and stadium was great and the staff was great.

Haven't been here in 12 years. It's an amazing stadium, and now they have the PeytonManningstatue up front. Definitely stop by if you're a fan.

Attended Colts Titans game back in October. Beautiful stadium, especially with the roof open. Some issues getting in with purses, only bc website did not mention new rules about small bag sizes or clear bags only allowed now so we had to make an extra trip back to the car. We were concerned about this so we had tried to check online first but saw no mention of any restrictions on purses. The game was great and staff was friendly.

One of the best stadiums I’ve been to. Tailgating was fun, the fans were cool. I liked how easily it was for the Uber to drop us off and pick us up. Actually getting into the stadium was easy especially for a playoff game. Drinks and food… they were stadium prices so nothing special. Overall it was a fun experience

We had an awesome time at ffa national convention today. We want to the first session. The speaker was amazing. She was funny and had many amazing ideas!

What a wonderful stadium! Very large and nicely built inside and out. Food was okay but I rather eat nearby for the same price which was my only gripe. Attended Gen Con and this place did not disappoint hosting such a big event. Looking forward to coming back again!

Visited for Drum Corps International Prelim competition. The venue changes entry and exit from time to time, and this year was no exception, but it was nice to see more of the concourse. Bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained by staff this year, and they were very kind and helpful if needed. Food lines moved pretty quickly for the food they were putting out during the "dinner intermission". Huge props to the staff and managers making it happen for everyone to be fed! The only issue I had is that staff didn't seem to be making sure people weren't moving around during the performances. I'm not sure if they knew that shouldn't be happening or not, but the staff behind me were talking loudly most of the day, and not really stopping anyone from moving around. I mostly only notice as someone who visits yearly. Overall, a great visit, and I know I'll be back next year for Drum Corps :-)

Visited Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts vs Rams game last Sunday. The stadium's open design was genuinely impressive, and there was a surprising amount of activities inside. The game was good, even though the Colts couldn't clinch a win. Worth the experience if you're considering a visit.

This stadium is GORGEOUS!!! Large spacious and roomy for seating. Home of the Colts, the atmosphere hits you as soon as you walk in the front door! There is great signage to get you to your seats, plenty of restrooms available, and lots of options for food and beverages. Also, lots of racing things incorporated (Indy 500) into the stadium. Overall, I love this place and would definitely go back 😁

As a Michigan fan it was always my goal to make it here for the big ten championship. After 3 straight championships and two visits I can say it was well worth the wait. The city and surrounding areas are beautiful and welcoming to any visitor. Can’t wait to come back!

I surprised my husband with a tour and we had a great time. Patty was so sweet and lead our tour perfectly. I personally appreciated the accommodation made for my husband as the fear of heights cropped up when we reached the huge escalator leading to the bud light party area. We learned so much and had a nice time! Reasonably priced!!!!

Came here for the Bands of America because my stepdaughter was performing in it. I get that they don't want you to interfere with the performance during when the bands are playing. So, during a performance, you can't sit down at your seat, you have to want in-between performances too. But I was literally on the stairs, not interfering with no one. I just wanted to see the North Carolina Marching Machine, and some volunteer told me I couldn't be there. Why? There's no one's behind me, I'm not in the way. If it wasn't for that. I would have given 5 stars. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience here. And our band made top 10!!

State of the art stadium that holds Colts home games, Big Ten championship games, NFL Draft combines as well as other events like NCAA Basketball Final Fours, Super Bowls, concerts, etc. We were able to see what this was possible during our guided tour. Lots of open space, cool little Lucas Oil products on the 2nd floor and honestly it just looks like there isn't a horrible seat in the building. Nice to see all parts of the stadium, even where they keep the kegs of beer. Curious to see how traffic is after home games, you feed into downtown when you leave.

Went there with my kiddos for robotics this place had parking and food and overall great time. Everything is very well labeled and the seats were comfortable as we were there from 8am till 7 pm almost.

Awesome stadium to watch cool events and the states football team the Colts. Great view no matter how high you sit though there are some seats that have obstructed views. The stadium also has a retractable roof and window that lets in fresh air and can close in case of bad weather. It doesn't open much even if it is a nice day but it does open randomly on some weeks to let some fresh air and daylight into the stadium. The stadium is easy to navigate and there are restrooms and food/drink areas all over the stadium. Overall great place to see events

I went for the very first time on December 31st, 2023. It was a great experience. First, the architecture on the outside was gorgeous. It fits the city very well with the style and shape, but its sheer size makes the city seem to be there for the stadium and not vise versa. The interior was equally impressive with vehicles on the inside such as motorcycle, tractor, a race car and more. I loved the spacious hallways. It did not feel super crowded even close to full capacity. Screens at both ends for everyone to see easily and every seat is a good view with how it was built. Now, the experience was fantastic. The first thing you encounter upon entering the stadium is receiving a flashing necklace (horshoe) and glasses (2024). 10/10. The announcers were fun, and the entertainment for the crowd via voice and big screen was both funny and had competitive banter. The food was okay, bbq wings were dry and overcooked a little. The cheesteak was good, but the bun was stale. The service was very good throughout and all employees were super friendly. Fans were fantastic! My favorite surprise was the toddler race during the game. As a Chiefs fan, who has been to Soldier Field, U.S Bank Stadium and Lucas Oil Stadium for the first time this season, The Colts definitely did things the best with the Vikings very close second. I would love to go back sometime and experience even more of the stadium I may not have seen.

What an awesome museum! I was visiting out of town from Raleigh North Carolina and was super impressed! We saw the MONET show and stopped in to the clothing showcase also. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The show was spectacular and shouldn't be missed even if you aren't into art it was such a wonderful presentation and to feel like you were in the picture was unbelievable! There were children chasing butterflies on the floor and wandering streets. I can't say enough good things about the show and all the many shows on the other floors AND then there are the grounds! Wow! So much to do and see and a paragraph doesn't begin to describe it! I will be back!

We truly enjoyed the art exhibit. We were visiting from out of town. It was a great choice for spending time with our 19-year-old niece and her friend, her Dad (50), my husband and I (60s). We also enjoyed the garden and refreshments available. It was a great option for us because we were able to discuss the art, we love world history and we enjoy plants, too. This was relaxing but not boring. We will return.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The exhibits are exquisite. A fun educational experience my family loved from mom in law to 10 year old child. I very much recommend a visit.

First time visiting the Newfields and what a great experience! The place is huge, clean and all staff are so nice. The gardens are beautiful! Tons of flowers to see, small gardens and really nice and clean areas. I can’t wait to visit the Halloween and Christmas expo!! Their Café is very good too!! Portions are very generous and great prices. The caramel cheesecake was AMAZING!

I had an enjoyable afternoon at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. There is a good variety of exhibits and periods and styles covered. The design exhibit is very interesting. I loved the Robert Indiana sculpture that gets you outside and when you enter. Recommended!

This is a wonderful museum with gorgeous grounds, the Lilly mansion is a must visit if open, when we went it was decked out for spooky season. The walk was beautiful and the grounds well kept. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend visiting in multiple seasons.

It's a great place to spend time with my kids and grandkids. The staff is always wonderful! There is something for everyone, whether it's enjoying art, walking the grounds, participating in a workshop or artistic activity it's always enjoyable. I definitely recommend a family membership 😉

I visited in December around 7:30p. Parking was limited but organized. The walking path was wide enough to handle the amount of people there. The lights were beautiful and there were so many of them. Always neat to go through the mansion to be reminded of the history of Newfields. I did not experience the food and drink but nice that it is offered. Looking forward to returning.

Winter Lights at Newfields is such a great time! Fun filled time for the family. My Mom and Step Dad were here visiting for Christmas and we took them to see the lights and they loved it. I'm a member of Newfields and love everything they offer. Tonight was the best weather to go, it was 60°. I give the people who put up the lights Mad Props for doing that! If you have not been you need to get there and see the lights!

My boyfriend and I took a day trip to see the Van gogh experience but ended up stating for so much more. They have amazing art from local artists as well as design fixtures. I got some good inspiration 😌

What an experience. While the museum part was interesting and entertaining, there's nothing much that standout. The highlight is The Lume. The immersive experience was worth every penny and it was very claming and entertaining. We were there for Van Gogh Live and that was mesmerizing. If you haven't gone there yet, make some time and make it. You'll thank me later!

We did the Harvest Nights tour. Great for little ones. No strollers in the Lilly Mansion. Strollers park outside of the rear entry door.

Fabulous event. Thank you to our dear friend #DrKimberlyDarlingForniss for allowing us to be a guest in her annual family visit. The entire display was spectacular. The use of the Three D Glasses, carmel popcorn and Christmas lights on a miniature scale for each guest was fabulous. The hot chocolate 🍫 was very well made and came in at a perfect time. The Lilly Mansions are breathtaking and very well preserved and maintained. Photos do not do the show justice.

This museum was excellent. I've been a member at Crystal Bridges, the Art Institute Chicago, and the Philadelphia Art Museum...and I think I enjoyed this experience as much as any. The Van Gogh underside was incredible, but there were so many extras (staff and elementary student art exhibits, a design lab, interactive displays with visual media, drawing stations for kids and adults, a piano for guests to play, and more). Then, the trails around the garden add an additional element. I can't wait to return.

I've gone to a handful of Indianapolis Indians games over the past several years. I went to their game last night against the Louisville Bats. I do have a few complaints though. What happened to the stand that used to sell tacos/walking tacos/taco bowls? It used to be in the concourse first level by the first base side of the field. The taco stand was my favorite food and the lines were always long to get the food from the stand. They don't enforce nor search bags anymore (like their websites says). I saw people bring in huge military like camelbak bags without them being searched. They make their grounds crew wear masks while they work on the field but their other employees in the concourses don't even have to (even though they are around thousands of people). They don't give out plastic lids or straws for drinks due to environmental issues. They allow plastic caps for bottles though. Helpful hint everyone bring your lids and straws yourself.

Was a great experience. It was my 1st time at the ball field. However; if you have trouble walking its very hard getting to seats, it's a long walk! The handicapped parking was a joke! Especially, if there's more than 1 event going on in the area (canal, museums, zoo, and hotels all in that area)! There was no handicapped available and parking garage was charging $30! Not really affordable...But the staff was polite. Food prices were at expected range but tastes great. Fireworks were fun! We had section 119 row b seats 17 and 18! We saw many baseballs handed to the kids! Nice celebrations and activities during the game too!

Victory Field could possibly be one of the best minor league ballparks to watch a baseball game in. All seats have a great view. Everyone I meet is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Prices are not too terribly high and the backdrop of the city is absolutely stunning! There is nothing to complain about unless you happen to have terrible weather while you're there. 5 ✨'s!!

Cheap tickets ($15) for a decent standard of baseball, perfect for a tourist. Ticket office were super helpful for finding the right seats. Good beer and loads of food choice. Careful of the sun as we got very burnt!! GO INDIANS!!!

I love the field. Games are usually pretty good, food options are awesome, plenty of restrooms, fair prices for a ball field and it's never real crowded, so it's great to take a group or coworkers. Food is really good, I had the chicken sandwich which comes with cheese and bacon already on it, a huge plus.

Great time and great experience at Victory Field. Decided to try and hit up all the minor league teams that are close to me living in Ohio. Hit up a Thursday night game, and happened to be a bark at the park night. Great deals on beers, $3 domestic drafts. It was definitely needed on a scorcher of a night. The Indians pulled off a walk off in the 9th....and the Victory Bell got rang!!

There's really NOTHING bad you can say about this ballpark. The views are amazing no matter what side you sit on. Fun for all ages. I will say in April it's best to bundle up cause those winds will swirl and it can get pretty chilly

This baseball park is LEGIT. MC Hammer couldn't touch this place. The team is good, the game is quick moving with the new rules, and the seats are of such a good quality, the players are able to hear you from the stands. I made the 3rd base coach turn around when I yelled, "Mustache Power!" That batter did hit well that time, so in my book, it stuck. I also got Park's autograph after the game. That was pretty cool. The players are super nice.

Not a baseball fan but my family and I really enjoyed our night on the lawn at Victory Field in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. We brought our own picnic. There were affordable food options available. Plenty of parking nearby. The Friday night fireworks were a blast!

The Indianapolis Indians call this place home and it's a great minor league stadium. The location couldn't be better because there are plenty of hotels and parking garages nearby. The stadium itself was very clean and reasonably priced for food and drinks. We enjoyed the game and the fireworks afterwards. Thank you for a great day at the ballpark!

Victory Field provides the quintessential ball park experience. There are so many ways to enjoy this place for so many people. I've languished on the lawn, chattered in the stands, and soaked up the experience in the suites. All of these choices are awesome. Love the pro shop, the vendors, the food and drinks absolutely all top-notch. Win or lose, we always win with such a brilliant venue. "GO INDIANS!!!"

Place is really nice! Wish I would of got a job there but due to some explainable misdemeanors I didn't get the job! 💔 They should give you a chance especially when you have numerous experience in everything they do there! Also ESPECIALLY since I don't have ANY felonies!!! I'm a hard reliable & dedicated worker & the manager Shannon even wanted me but unfortunately they won't get to experience that due to the headquarters in Philadelphia. I'm the type of person that NEVER calls off & asks to pick up more shifts or help WHENEVER they need it because I'm always available & don't have any children & I have goals I want to reach. But I have to keep my head high & take my some where else! I wish I could of helped grow the company even more but God bless! 🙏🏼

I attended the 9-9-2023 game at 6:35 p.m. and it was a disaster due to the extreme noise coming into the stadium from the outdoor concert from across the road. I bought 10 seats in Section 107 rows S & T right behind 3rd base for my family (some family drove 3 hours to get here from South Bend, IN) who were celebrating 3 birthdays and we couldn't hear the person sitting next to us. The concert noise literally gave me a headache and I had to go stand in the grass above the center field fence to get some relief. I will not be back at a baseball game when there's anything going on across the street in the park ! Typically we have a great time at Victory Field but not this time.

This place is so clean! It's full of life even in March. Ducks and various birds mingle with butterflies and early spring flowers. The sculpture garden is an added benefit, as are the various waterfalls that can be sat at while you contemplate our oneness with nature. Probably the cleanest park and canal I have ever seen in.

Great place to see the skyline, and I really enjoyed the individual Indiana counties artwork.

Met a nice couple there! Had to leave before I could give them the artwork they said that they wanted, will be back in the same spot on Monday!

Love visiting the canal on St. Patrick's Day and my dogs love to watch the ducks! Saw a gorgeous white one today. Kept clean and relaxing.

Such an amazing place , very nice views , nice environment and gr8 place for a walk , run or ride. You can rent a bike , pedal or a kayak with reasonable prices Lots of restaurants and coffee shops available along the canal Many cultural centers are available too

The canal is very pretty, at least in most places near the downtown center of Indianapolis.

It was a nice walk but there was nothing going on. No food options or activities. I expected more to do and locations to get food. It was April and it looks like the attractions don't open until May so that was disappointing.

Great place to walk around. It's very scenic and there are several places to visit our you can rent a paddle boat and ride on the canal. Also a great place for photos. So many colors and textures make it good for family photos or senior pictures.

Had a really good time in the museum. Very insightful with many wonderful exhibits. Very friendly and courteous staff. Also very interactive with not only the exhibits upstairs but also in the lower level where it's more Hands-On for younger patrons of the museum.

I've been here a couple of times, and it's pretty neat. It's one of those odd places that you find from time to time that don't quite fit in with their location. A museum that has absolutely nothing to do with Indiana, right smack dab in the middle of Indiana. But, I'll still enjoy it anyway! It is nice not having to travel out west to see something like this. Lots of interesting pieces, ranging from the 1800s to modern times (within the past few years). It's a good idea to make sure you have several hours to wander around, especially if you're someone who likes to read all the placards. The parking is pretty spendy, so if you are local, and there's a decent chance you'll return within a year, buying the membership is pretty much a no-brainer.

The popular Indian’s from all over the world is here dancing and it’s so beautiful to watch them. Me, and my two sisters are having a great Friday night and my sister had surprised me and my other sister with tickets to this wonderful night out.

The museum was very cool. They had lots of wonderful art. The children's area was surprisingly large and very fun. The seasonal train exhibit was very well made and beautiful.

It's been a while since we've visited The Eiteljorg Museum. We decided to come because my 2yr old loves trains & the Jingle Rails exhibit was open. It was very nice. The kids also enjoyed the Canal Level exhibit. I personally, love to see all of the artwork. However, the kids (2yrs-12yrs) don't seem to enjoy it much. I'd recommend The Eiteljorg Museum for an adult outing or for kids interested in art.

Beautiful artwork throughout. The facility is gorgeous, and the thoughtful arrangements of the exhibits is tasteful. Simple, interesting and sophisticated. The stories of the people and the beauty of the art make this a great place to spend a morning. I am glad we visited this museum.

A very nice museum and must visit if you come to Indianapolis

Jingle Rails is an amazing holiday experience. A unique view of Indianapolis and other states and miniatures, surrounded by amazing model trains.

The museum is fascinating ESPECIALLY for the Native American floor! I found this museum on Google while trying to find fun things to do in IN… I really wish more places throughout the US dedicate more exhibitions to Native and the Indigenous communities that exist throughout North America. I learned soo much about their cultures and their history. And am eager to learn more…

Our first trip to this museum and we all loved it! Definitely more of a look and don't touch kind of museum. I also asked about kid classes upfront, but they had never heard of that type of thing. We homeschool and many places offer a once a month or every other week classes to get a little more in depth and hands on with the material. Generally they are an extra charge, but usually $10-$15 a class. So I would be interested in these type of classes at the Eiteljorg, or offering suggestions on types they could do.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The staff was rather stalkerish. I'm a Black woman with 10 tattoos. Nine of them were visible. I guess I stood out. Nonetheless they were very friendly and helpful. The display rooms are very deceptive in size. Just when you think you're at the end another nook and cranny pops up for you to explore. Whoever designed the second floor was also a master of deception. Rooms that look tiny open up when you turn the corner. I was happily exhausted by the time my phone died and I could no longer take pictures. There's a very interesting film playing that you have to listen to. It's different native people speaking about the art they create. I will return to this museum. If you love beautiful native art and history and you're in Indianapolis check them out.

The model train display was the best I've ever seen. I recommend you take the free guided tour.

We went to the Eiteljorg Museum today; it's about Native American Indian history and crafts. I was very excited about going, but it was a major let down when we got there. It was nothing but pictures and statues, and a lot of walking around without much to see. Now don't get me wrong, I'm very interested in Indians, because I'm part Cherokee also, but the museum was very sparse...a lot of the rooms were fairly empty. I will say there was several areas set up with things to do for the kids, in each area, and that kept our grandson occupied. They also had a children's area for them to be entertained, on the lower level. **I might go back someday if they get more to look at.** We did get in for FREE and we didn't have to pay for parking either, BUT, that was because we checked out the museum member card from our local library. I wouldn't have been very happy if we had paid for this trip! Be prepared to spend some hefty cash if you go, because we got our grandson a gift from the gift shop, a smallish Lego set with a big book of different things to build, and it was $25.00 + tax. They did have a lot of things to sell, and I believe it's almost all authentic Native American items, so that will make it pricey. We ate in the Cafe, and for me, my husband, and our grandson, it was over $47.00!

I wish I could rate this a 10! It was amazing. So much war history in such a beautiful building. We've traveled and seen a lot of historical sites, but this is my favorite, by far. A great opportunity for kids to "see" the past and for adults to remember. Don't miss out.

This is a beautiful memorial. I went here while visiting Indianapolis and was satisfied with my experience. This memorial was built to honor veterans, and it has a museum about the history of veterans and the sacrifices they made. This museum is on top of a large pedestal, and the memorial has several distinct architectural details. There’s also a great view of the Indianapolis skyline from this memorial. I gave this memorial five stars because it’s architecturally beautiful.

The building is huge and beautiful from outside. It was closed when we visited here, so we didn't have a chance to go inside. I think this is a great place to learn history. It's a good photo taking spot and the surroundings are pretty especially in spring.

This really is an excellent stop. There are a lot of nice stops in Indy. We've passed over this several times. It is well worth the time. Well worth. Set aside at least 90 minutes. Maybe more, but 90 minutes at least. There is a lot of good stuff. The propaganda posters from the 2 world wars is the best. The post 9-11 stuff, especially post Afghanistan, the worst. Not that it was bad, but the display doesn't match the outcome. Not the soldiers' fault. They did their job.

This museum takes you through all the wars in chronological order. It's amazing the amount of memorabilia that's here and many items we haven't seen before (and we've been to a few war museums!). The shrine upstairs is absolutely stunning!! Even though there is a lot of Indiana information, it was still worth seeing being from a different state! Set up very nicely and we enjoyed it immensely!

I took the family to breakfast in downtown Indianapolis. We were walking on the canal and decided to warm up in the sunlight when we found ourselves at the steps of the Indiana war memorial and museum. We enjoyed everything about the experience. From the moment we entered we were greeted by a friendly employee who answered our questions. We dove in and had no idea what to expect. We were all surprised with the quality and quantity of amazing memorabilia, artifacts, an actual pieces of history. I was able to show my son every uniform camouflage I wore in the US Army. I was also able to show him every unit patch I wore. For crying out loud, there is a AH-1 Huey Cobra on the Vietnam war era! Everything about our visit was a success. You are the gold standard of museums, and in Indiana fashion, rivals the Seoul South Korea War Museum in I-tae Wan.

Absolutely amazing!! I was totally humbled by this war history and tribute to our soldiers. The place has a unique reverence that is palpable. The upper sanctuary with the alter was so big and ornately built. The pilars the size of redwoods and the flag in the room must be more than 50 feet tall. I'm so glad I went. The auditorium was beautiful and felt more like a chapel. I sat there for quite a while, just taking in the spirit of the place.

Went today for my first time. Not only is it free, but it was extremely impressive. Been to a lot of military museums, and not only is the place a absolutely beautiful piece of architecture, but the muesem set up, and artifacts where alot more then I honestly expected!

I loved the monument and the museum inside. It’s full of history and color. Entrance is free so there are no excuses.

MUST see! A truly unique and enormous hidden gem in downtown Indianapolis; you will be in awe of this spectacular building! Great place to visit, learn about the history, to see the dedication to the United States military along with its accomplishments and sacrifices. Makes you feel proud to be a Hoosier and an American!

Our group of veterans came in from the Ortho Indy V.A. YMCA Pain Clinic. We had a wonderful time wandering through the different displays and sharing stories of our past. We were very proud to see representation for all branches of service and each campaign! God bless!

The museum was impressively designed from architecture to all the exhibits they have on display. They were very informative and I appreciate it more because it’s free for anyone to see.

Beautiful, they had interesting exhibits & it was very well curated for a free mueseum. The memorial section was unexpected but looked & felt very moving. Also recommended walking the stairs outside the building for the view.

The outside architecture is fantastic. Inside it is quiet and reverent. The top level is absolutely quiet and beautiful. It is a good memorial to those who passed in service of the country.

This was EXTRAORDINARY! This should be your TOP PRIORITY when traveling to Indianapolis. We spent several hours in here and there was no one there except staff members. The architecture was absolutely stunning (be sure to check out the central auditorium). The museum exhibits are wonderful. Be SURE to climb the stairs to see the Shrine Room which is absolutely stunning!

This was an amazing experience. It was way better then we expected. It had amazing architecture in the top room. They had a lot of information and very cool exhibits. They were also improving some of the exhibits. You could probably spend close to two hours in here. Best part is it is free.

What a beautiful place to visit. I was sad to only be able to get to some parts of the museum that were handicapped accessible, but the parts we saw were incredible. I love all of the marble and historical architecture. There are, sadly, many areas that need strong upkeep. The elevator isn't functional and I noted several areas that had significant water damage. Fortunately, there were areas I could visit on the main level and in half of the lower level (including a super cool helicopter...a cobra, I believe my husband said...because of stair lifts. Overall, a really lovely and free place to visit and remember our past and those who have fought for our freedom.

I was totally blown away at this place. Such a remarkable building, huge and stunning. I could rave and rave. If you are considering stopping here, it's a absolute must. And it's a lot of stairs to walk, but wait til you see the upstairs, your mind will be blown. If you love history, and our nations past, you'll love this place. And, another kicker, is it's free to the public with a donation box.

In town for a water polo tourney. Didn’t know Indianapolis had this place. I’ve already talked to other families to make a special trip back here. The 2 old timers in “radio controls” for the Battleship were great!

This was my first time here. We spent about an hour and a half or so... could have definitely stayed longer. My school aged children found it interesting also.

I was here over for an Imagine dragons Concert. It was a great place. I would have given it a 5 star but the place wasn’t organized to handle the crowd. We waited outside for almost an hour before we were let in and seated. The security checks were fast but to get into the arena there was only a single point of entry which made it take forever. Apart from getting to the seat and getting out hassle i had a pretty amazing time at the Concert. Definitely recommend going here for a game or a concert or a show. I can’t wait to go back for my next myself ! 🙌

Very impressed with the facility and it's size. Beautiful vibrant colors all throughout the building. Went went for a Lakers and Pacer game and had the best time. We weren't aware that there was a parking garage across from the stadium so we paid for parking in a lot a few blocks away. Be informed that there is plenty of walking to get to your seats but they do have elevators and escalators. Plenty of places for food and drinks throughout the venue and several hotels located near Incase you're staying overnight.

We sat in the top row for our first NBA game. It was quite a hike up, and we didn't venture down until it was over. But this is a super nice arena! We watched the Lakers and Pacers warm up from the lower level pregame. The staff was all friendly and welcoming. We didn't buy any concessions, but there was a nice selection, including fancy shakes. It was a quick drive from Cincy and parking was easy in the adjacent garage.

I went to see Imagine Dragons here last night. It was absolutely beautiful and hands down the most amazing concert I've ever been to. The security is quick with getting people screened, checked and in the venue and ticket scanners are too. We didn't take no time to get in. The bathrooms weren't dirty or over crowded and same with vending. They kept it clean and Imagine Dragons made it home for a few hours. An Epic night 🥰

The concert itself was great but this place is NOT handicapped friendly in any way!!! The seating is way too tight. If your knees don’t bend right you are out of luck! It is all stairs and the few escalators they had weren’t working and the couple of elevators were constantly maxed out. Seriously it is a very uncomfortable place and makes it hard to enjoy whatever you are going there to see.

Nice arena and facilities. I always enjoy going to events there. Great location downtown.

I saw Steve Miller Band and the Eagles here on 10/09, and it was amazing! Great music! Great fans! The staff was amazing! It's credit cards only, no cash! However, they have plenty of machines to turn in your cash to get a card to use at Gainbridge Fieldhouse however it can be used at other locations downtown. Have a lot of cellphone charging stations that you can secure your phone and / or take a charging block with you tob your seat. So it's a very mobile friendly! Very nice and clean establishment!

We had a great time at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Indiana High School Athletic Association Girls Basketball State Championship. The arena was very clean and well lit. We had floor seats close to the action, and could still see the Megatron above. Due to the high school game, some concession services were suspended. Restrooms were large and clean. There was lots of access to food and entertainment downtown after the game.

Long waits in lines while lots of vendor stations sit empty. Seems things could have run more efficiently, but may have been staffing issues. Getting in and out of the stadium was a very easy process. Stadium seemed cleaner or slightly cleaner than I would have expected. We definitely will be back here again.

Cole Swindell & Thomas Rhett concert- very good. Seats Section 12, row 20 (upper), seats 5 & 6, good view, and very easy in and out.

Came in for Pacers - Jazz on 2/13/2022. The arena was such a fun place to be. Well maintained, beautiful facility. As a Jazz fan we received no hard feelings or anything and were given great hospitality. The walkway across to the parking garage was extremely convenient. The acoustics in the arena were superb. Really a top quality venue with top quality staff and security. We’ll be back next season.

I had never been to an event at Gainbridge fieldhouse before and I was really impressed with the cleanliness and aesthetics of the facility. We saw the Eagles and we had a fantastic time! We look forward to returning in the future!

Great environment for any event. We went for PBR rodeo 2024. Easy parking at nearby garage. Lots to do around the Fieldhouse. Easy entry, very clean, and lots of food options once inside. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.

Gainbridge is a nice arena. One piece of advice don't sit in section 9. While thats all my fault for selecting the seats this is probably par for all stadiums. Seats were behind the goal and just right above the first floor so the goal was impeding the view. Aside from the goal everything was great, the NBA experience was great. Rik Smits was talking around, the NBA store had plenty of sizes of every all star gear you could imagine. Very impressed with the NBA and Indianapolis

Eagerly anticipating our next event at Gainbridge – the Winter Jam experience was absolutely phenomenal!

A great basketball venue but also hosts several other events. It has pretty steep seating which helps make the view from upper balcony seats better. The photo is from section 12 at a recent Pacers game.

First time going to a NBA game and it was great! Came down to the last shot and was nice to see the Pacers win at home! Many different bars and food spots to choose from throughout the arena. Such a great time and view!

Amazing venue for a concert!! When you enter for seating you go downstairs like it's been dug into the ground! Plenty of seating, music was amazing!! No echo noise!! Would definitely go again

Great venue for a concert, or sporting event. Seems to be well laid out, with several restroom facilities easily accessible. We saw the Eagles concert here, and sound was fabulous! Side note ~ the Hyatt hotel is right across a small street if you need overnight accommodations 👍

You can spend a whole day here and not run out of things to do! Plenty of family friendly exhibits. Great for kids. A variety of exhibits from mastodons to motor cars, historical figures, Indiana celebrities, native Americans, Black history and more. We enjoyed our lunch in the cafe. The prices are a little higher, so you may want to eat before you come if you are feeding a family. I highly recommend this museum.

The Indiana State Museum is well designed ...on three main floors... And showcased beautifully. The Museum is a 'Teaching and Learning' Museum with a plot and storyline... to follow. The descriptions are 'smart' ...and well thought out... Overall very insightful ...'focused on the true identity of Indiana... 'Touches a lot of bases all equally important to the State. Parking is available at the White River State Parking Garage ...enter on W. Washington Street... A very nice museum and well worth your visit. Allow at least 3 hrs to cover all aspects and signboards. You'll learn something new.

was here over eclipse weekend and was impressed by the variety of exhibits, including interactive, stem and art focused galleries. good place to spend a few hours. minimal food options but that’s fine.

We had a great time and staff very friendly. Worth the time. We went for a walk on the white river state park after that and it was gorgeous.

All new experience for our family! We usually got to the Children's Museum but my oldest Granddaughter is now 12 and wanted to show her some more Adult Art! Very enjoyable and they had experiences for all ages! We will be back!

The museum isn’t very big but it’s good for couple hours visit. The nature section and the vintage car section have good collections. There is an origami section where they have many tools to make your own paper craft. That was pretty fun!

What a great place to learn, listen touch, and feel Indiana. I enjoyed interacting with displays instead of just reading something on a sign. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon. Pro Tip: make sure you try the food at the Cafe, the food is amazing

I had so much fun with my 3yr old niece! She loved the animal and the prehistoric exhibit. In case your little one is distracted or not interested in an exhibit, they have plenty of children's activity tables throughout the museum. Great time for the whole family!

Went specifically for the “Woven Together” exhibit and abstract art. Displays were well organized. All staff I encountered were pleasant and knowledgeable.

Spent a fun afternoon in the Indiana History Museum before watching a movie at the IMAX. The bottom floor had a number of interesting fossil and animal exhibits while higher floors contained more recent human history. I particularly liked learning about the stone carvers in Bedford and all the geological dig sites in the state. Fun place to explore for a couple of hours. Would recommend for kids and history enthusiasts.

I loved this museum! The first-floor exhibits were a lot of fun and encouraged playing with your senses. The historical exhibits were interesting and laid out well. I also enjoyed the natural history section. You can play "spot the animal" as there's usually a sign with the animal nearby.

This museum is rarely busy and that’s a shame. It’s incredibly fun, interesting, and cool. They have a ton of interactive activities for kiddos. It’s substantially less overwhelming and stimulating compared to the children’s museum.

We drove in from Cincinnati, to catch the 15/70mm film version of Oppenheimer. First time visiting the Museum, and it was impressive and efficient. Tickets and communication prior to the film was great, with helpful tips regarding parking locations, and the recommendation to arrive early due to no trailers. The screen is epic in size, and worth the trip.

Great place to spend a day. It has three levels. Lots of vintage cars. So if you love cars and history of cars you would definitely love it. Before visiting this I didn’t know Indiana had so many car companies. The natural history part is not rich enough but worth visiting. The museum also has a IMAX theater inside it. A small beautiful lake surrounds the museum and you can walk around it.

This is a really big museum. Lots of cool displays. All well presented. You need 4-5 hours to see it all. Very educational

Went as a chaperone for my daughter's 3rd and 4th grade split class field trip in March 2023. It was great. Our group had a blast! It was a lot of exhibits and activities to do! We were able to do an 🏞️ outdoor activity drawing right by the river that flows through. We got to see geese floating around! I posted a pic of the "friendly goose" nosying around checking us out! The only thing that I didn't really care for was that a lot of the activities and exhibits or shut down while we were there. Also a negative was there was a man who was running and activity / exhibit. He had these really big telescopes and you were able to look through them and see what it was like to look through them. One of the children didn't completely follow his instructions of what to do and he snapped at her. So I voiced my opinion and let it be known that I didn't appreciate him speaking to her that way. I have never been to the Indiana State Museum before today and I am glad I finally went, it was fun for the whole family there is something for all ages. I really liked the prehistoric history of Indiana and my kids enjoyed learning about the important things that Hoosiers had done through the years. There was a food court that was nice and a cool gift shop. We took the train ride on the third floor for the Christmas special and my kids thought that was fun. If you use the parking garage ask about a discount from the ticket desk.

Our visit to the Indiana State Museum was incredible! We visited after lunch on a Friday, and it wasn't too busy at all. We parked at the White River State Parking Garage (located at 650 West Washington St.). We brought our parking ticket into the museum to get the discount on parking (parking was $4 total). We also got $1 off each ticket by buying our tickets online. From science to mastadons to cultural history to cars to everybody famous from Indiana to limestone information- there was so much to learn about Indiana in this museum. We spent a little over 2 hours here, but we definitely could have stayed longer if we weren't on a schedule. Their gift shop also had all the Indiana souvenirs you would want. Highly recommend!!

The place to learn the history of Indiana State with many kinds of interactive activities to experience. I love the part of sharing a story of your shoes and speaking your county masterpieces on the museum wall outside. I also went to the exhibition of 'towers of tomorrow with LEGO bricks.'

Underground parking helped avoid the effects of winter weather. The central corridors had a number of seasonal (Christmas) displays and activities. The exhibit areas had detailed displays covering regions of the state along with the peoples, animals and geology in it. If you are interested in details, you can spend plenty of time satisfying your curiosity here.

We had only 90 minutes to spend here, so we headed straight for the Lego exhibit on the top floor. Wait till you see the world's tallest buildings - Lego style! Next to each building is information on the building and the build itself, i.e., number of legos, hours to create, any special challenges. The exhibit even includes a hands-on space to build your own Lego creation.

Loved the Santa's workshop "Celebration Crossing" and the ride-on train "Snowfall Express" through a magical forest of animals and moving winter scenes! I would highly recommend going next year. It was not too busy when we went on Christmas eve. We rode the train 4 times!!

Stunning historic place! The scenic view of Indianapolis downtown is one of its kind. It is open and free to the public. No restrooms. No wheelchair accessible. There are 2 ways to go up, through the 300 steps or the elevator (max 4 people per ride). Kids friendly. It's free to the public!! And it's beautiful 😍 Definitely a must-go.

First time in Indianapolis. In the morning, we were going to Monument, and the elevator was out of order. It was sweaty fun to go all way up and down. I did my legs day for sure. And it's made my trip more fun than I expected.

It's in the middle of monument circle in downtown Indianapolis. It's a great monument. You can also climb to the top. If you take elevator, it $3 for an adult. I think children under 5 is free. There's a staff at the entrance. You can ask them. It's free if you use the stairs. I came here with my friends and we used the stairs to climb and it was fun especially with your friends.

This place is aesthetic! So many people love going downtown during the weekend just to sit at the circle. It is pretty chill and you get to meet amazing people. People singing, dancing, many eating and car meets as well. It is also a place that several individuals go to distressed and I think that is pretty amazing. On top of that, the circle center Christmas light during December is heartwarming! We Hoosiers absolutely love it!

Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting Indianapolis for a first time. It is way taller than you would think and has beautiful sculpture work. It is surrounded by small businesses and nice stops. Lots of cool events around the area as well.

I was totally impressed by downtown Indianapolis. What a big and beautiful downtown this place has. Soldier Monument and Monument Circle are beautiful, artistic attractions that many cities only wish they had.

I really liked the architecture and craftsmanship that went into building this monument. It’s also a beautiful place to sit on the steps, eat lunch, and just people watch. We went to the observation tower which is no joke. We didn’t want to pay to take the elevator so we went up the stairs for free. We were being very cheap that day. There are 330 steps but it can get very narrow. If you decide to take the elevator it’s about $3 for an adult. To get to the observation level, you still have to go up 49 steps even after taking an elevator. There is also a gift shop that is open on Sun-Thurs. The observation level is very small, so I would not recommend it for those that are wheelchair bound or if you’re on the obese side. It’s difficult to see from my pictures but the observation level is not open air, there are glass windows all around.

Such a beautiful historical monument. The lights around it at night are stunning. Hope to see it again in warmer weather when the fountain is in use. Also would like to see how it looks in daylight.

Definitely a must see for anyone visiting or living in Indianapolis. A moving monument on par with something you would find in Washington DC. A great way to honor our American heroes.

One of the absolutely most beautiful monuments in the world. The architecture and design behind this is amazing. Plus the combination with the water makes it a must see. There is a museum as well, unfortunately it is closed for remodeling. There are some picnic tables in which to sit and enjoy the place as well. The whole design around the circle makes this place a destination.

Great distinction for an evening stroll. Indianapolis is very walkable so get out and see it. The monument and fountain are beautiful. The whole circle is full of restaurants, bars, and stores. Nice areas to sit and enjoy take out.

Very neat monument. Incredible detail on the sculpting and masonry. Looks awesome in the winter, apparently. The only thing I wish that was changed about this is that it should be entirely a park around it. Currently it is just a road (which is comprised of old brick). There's one segment that has turned into a turf 'lawn', and people seemed to love it. Would be awesome if there were more public pedestrian space around it, because it's so neat.

This is a very nice and beautiful monument. I love the architecture and the craftsmanship that went into building this. Even though there was a little bit of construction and some of the area was blocked off, you're still able to get really good photos from different angles of the monument. It is definitely worth visiting this when you are in indianapolis.

Enjoyed seeing this. Pretty cool. The buildings look like they are moving & a great tribute to our soldiers. As well as our country. There is construction going on. But still able to see move around. At Christmas I herd downtown is beautiful.

This is a very beautiful architectural monument. It does have elevator to go on top and view the Indianapolis downtown. Great place to hangout. We visited this place on Sunday and the street parking for free.

I went to visit on Sunday, a group of 9 boys came up to say that they liked my shoes, since I didn't pay attention to them, they beat me up, they took them from me and left, the police arrived an hour later, they were still nearby and the Witnesses pointed them out but the police did not arrest anyone. It is a very unsafe place

As an Army vet, love anything showing love to the military past and present. Elevator was down, so the daughter and I did the twenty stories up to the top. Legs still hurt.

This was so cool! I've visited during the winter.. but had no clue there was an elevator to the top! The views were amazing, & on this particular day, we got to ride the elevator for free ( donations accepted). The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable! The elevator was definitely a claustrophobic nightmare... but I survived lol

It was fine. The monument itself is nice, but we went for the "tree lighting" and it was slightly underwhelming. Waited an hour and a half, through the ceremony (which was a host and some music, live and recorded), for them to just switch on the lights. With a buildup like that, I expected something more. Not really worth the effort. I've been to a lot of small town festivals or lighting ceremonies that were more fun, especially if you have kids.

We went on a weekday , after dinner hour. This place looked good & surprisingly quiet . If you are planning to visit Indy , pay a visit here .

Went for the Big Ten Fan Fest. There was plenty of room and it was easy to navigate. It was also connected to the skywalk, so we didn’t need to go out in the cold. Overall, it’s a nice space!

Easy to navigate from hotel and neighboring eateries. Well planned interiors for crowd movement. Adequate space for informational displays and retailers. Some refreshments available with Apple Pay. Clean bathrooms were handy and remained opened throughout entire event. The sound booth system could be improved as the audio-visual portion never quite synced; much louder than needed most of the time. Overall Indiana Convention Center provided comfortable, clean and well organized accommodations.

What an amazing experience at Gen Con inside this convention center. The place is very large to accommodate lots of activities. Many rooms for exclusive vendor content. Thrilled to have been here on the weekend and looking forward to returning next year. On a side note this event was very well organized when it came to line ups and will calls. It was a smooth process and be sure to get there early!

Huge, did I say, huge? Man, once you get there you'll have to walk another mile to get to where you are going, wear comfy shoes. Clean, restrooms where always clean also

It is a beautifully constructed facility. There is a tunnel that allows you to walk indoors without being subjected to the elements. Also, there is an indoor mall with many stores, food court, and family style dining. I attended the COGIC annual AIM conference to support my beloved Bishop Hudson of the Powerhouse International Assemblies. He shook up the town with his apostolic anointing.

We thoroughly enjoy going to GenCon here every year. The hall is usually clean and kept at a good temperature. The staff keeps up and are knowledgeable and kind.

Went for the 2024 ComicCon. Enjoyed the vendors, that is what I like to go for. I have no opinion on the guest actors/panels they do. They could have worked better on the registration, it seemed like it was a last thought. The year before had better plan with that.

Spent the day here for Comic Con in Indy, and was very happy with the venue, and the event itself. We were there for a total of 5 hours, and could have spent more time exploring if it wasn't for a tuckered out kiddo. Plenty of space, even with a lot of people there it was pretty easy to keep your distance from others. Tons of room for the booths which were nicely laid out. Definitely will come back for future events!

Very Large indoor facilities were a bit to get use to yet the directional & large signs overhead as well as those standing on the hallway floors where very helpful finding your way. Visiting now for the 2nd time with the NTEA National Work Truck Show as it was productive and enjoyable. Love the shuttle buses and free parking from the zoo...another great service. Overall Good experience, Highly Recommended.

It is very easy to navigate. It is very clean and well laid out. Went to Horror Hound, and it was amazing. No matter how many people were there, you didn't feel cramped or closed in on. I'm definitely going back next year!

Attended a fan convention at the Indiana Convention Center over the weekend. Location is excellent, and the center is connected to various hotels and the stadium via sky bridge which is also very nice. Signage is adequate. The center itself is well kept and very large. There are plenty of parking garages within walking distance. Concessions are very high priced for what you get.

The Indiana Convention Center earns a solid 5-star rating for its well-designed facilities and accommodating atmosphere. From hosting events to attending them, the venue offers ample space and modern amenities. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Its downtown location adds to the convenience, making it easily accessible. While very good, a few minor areas could see improvement. Nevertheless, the Indiana Convention Center is a reliable choice for a variety of events, making it a strong 5-star venue. Oh and this place is huge so bring your walking shoes!

My family and I went here for Brick Fest Live. It was very easy, via the Sky Bridge, to enter the Indiana Convention Center from the parking garage. From there it was easy to find the Exhibition Hall where Brick Fest Live was taking place. Once we got there there was an orderly line to enter, and once we were inside we loved every minute of Brick Fest Live. Although massive the Indiana Convention Center is very easy to navigate.

I have come here for two years in a row during the summer... It's always a nice place to relax and take pictures. Good atmosphere and tons of activities going on to get involved with. Recommend as a nice place to relax and possibly have a picnic :)

We had a lot of fun watching the solar eclipse in the park! Friendly crowd and a great atmosphere! I just regret that we didn’t have more time to see Indianapolis.

Went to see H.E.R. and it was amazing! I wish there were more food trucks options but it was a fun, bright and loud show. Everything you can ask for in a concert. I didn't like the fact that they had to hold your bag for $5 but I guess I can understand.

A very cute intersection of city and nature. There’s a little waterfall, I saw a huge white-tailed bird, dragonflies, geese. There’s a more naturey trek just over the bridge. There’s lots of grass, tables, and benches to camp out but I found a huge boulder to have lunch 10/10 would recommend!

Had a difficult time getting my tickets to transfer, or show up on my phone, or something... was scared we were going to miss the show. But we had 2 angels working as staff help us, one at the gate who kindly tried her best, then passed us on to the girl at the box office who got us our tickets & into the show. Both were friendly, patient & extremely helpful with something that was SO not their problem. Angels..... truly.
