I went to Edison and Ford Winter Estates during a trip to Fort Myers. I took a guided tour which was approximately $30. Our tour guide who called himself an historian, provided a lot of good insights regarding the lives of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford and kept us engaged during the entire tour. It was approximately 100 degrees outside that day but he managed to keep us in the shades most of the tour. You're not allowed to go inside the homes but you can peek through the doors/windows. After the tours which was approximately an hour and a half, I went back inside the museum to visit some of the exhibits of Edison and Ford. I also visited the grounds which are well maintained and beautiful. I could have spent a whole day there.

I learned so much. It was like a trip back in time. The grounds, lab, and museum are well worth a visit. Just check the weather first. If there is thunder they close the grounds. The museum with all of the phonographs and Model Ts are still open during thunderstorms though. They will stamp your receipt so you can come back.

Gorgeous grounds .. fascinating friendship between Edison & Ford ..💡 🚗 Thoroughly enjoyed walking through the gardens & seeing inside the houses. Loved how we were able to take a self guided tour & see inside the homes. The houses 🏘 have 1/2 opened doors to allow for a wonderful view of the various areas of the inside of the homes. The gardens, houses, workshop & museums are meticulously kept. A very enjoyable experience & we learned a lot! Highly recommend!

Well worth the stop. It's always fun to visit places where wealthy industrialists from the 19th century vacationed. Both men were true pioneers from 1880s through their deaths in the 1930's and 1940's . Take your time use the app and do a self guided tour. It really well done.

Absolutely wonderful. It's like taking a walk through history. I would like to extend special thanks to one of the volunteers, named Steve. He seems very passionate about his job and made our tour that much more special (it was my first time in the U.S.). Highly recommended. Beautiful place. Greetings from Hungary!

Came here on the first day that they celebrated their holiday nights special event. Booked the guided tour and our tour guide did a fantastic job explaining all the information. It’s a very expansive estate at the same time the guide didn’t waste any time and we were able to finish the tour after an hour without issues. It is absolutely beautifully decorated and they aren’t normally open this late but it’s beautiful to see all the holiday lights being set up. It’s quite a unique experience. They also had some food vendors which we partook in a few treats since it was getting late and it was a replacement for dinner. Recommend buying guided tour tickets early as they do sell out pretty quickly.

I had a wonderful experience at this museum, which featured both outdoor and indoor exhibitions. Additionally, they offer two engaging activities for people of all ages, making it a delightful experience. The workers were extremely friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment. If you find yourself in Fort Myers, I highly recommend visiting this museum!

Went today with my wife. Had Bailey as our tour guide. We loved the experience. We got to see where Thomas Edison and Henry Ford spend summer months. Homes were amazing and the grounds were well maintained. The cost of the tour goes to property maintenance as we did see some lingering damage from Hurricane Ian. We have lived here three years and I am so glad we finally went. Perfect for locals and visitors to see a little piece of history right here in Ft Myers.

The Edison & Ford Winter Estates is a must see when near the Fort Meyers, FL area. It is truly an amazing iconic walk through the past. Not only the history but the museums with their stories. And all set on breathtaking views of waters and lovely gardens. The history of great people of the era that visited or stayed there is amazing to read about.

A great place to visit if you're in the Ft Myers area. We got a cool little " private" tour because only 4 of us had paid for the guided tour. Scott was so knowledgeable about every aspect of Edison's history. He was very impressive. There is a museum with Ford's cars and some of Edison's inventions. Across the road are their estates which sit on beautiful waterfront grounds. We learned a little about Ford, but the majority of the tour focused on Edison. There is a cute gift shop at the end of the tour.

On a recent first visit to Ft. Myers, I decided to check out this amazing place on the river. I never knew that Henry Ford and Thomas Edison were next door neighbors in their winter homes! Both men are legendary American icons. The grounds of the estate are gorgeous. Throughout the tour there were volunteers to explain and demonstrate things. I particularly liked Edison's office and home. They have a fantastic museum with an original model T. There is ample parking and the admission fee was reasonable. This is a must see!

Well maintained residency, location is near the water with great view. The parking is free. If you buy tickets online, you need to exchange them to waist bands at ticket office first. It is better to visit the museum first because it has so many first hand real things to see and read. Also the garden and the park adjacent to the ticket office are great, many nursery items for sale. Spent about 2.5 hrs today but could do more especially at the museum.

Fun experience with the family! Please note that if you are going on a reciprocal membership please be sure all reciprocal members names are on cards or you need to pay for those not named. Gardens were well maintained with really interesting specimens. I had no idea the extent that Edison and his assistants experimented with plants. Plan for the weather as most of the exhibits are outside. Gardens close in thunder alerts. You cannot walk through houses, but they have opened all the doorways to see in many of the rooms. Highlight of the gardens is the self guided audio tour. Short, entertaining, informational and well done! Museum is quite interesting and air conditioned :)

A great place to take a 3-hour break. They have guided tours and self-guided tours. The self-guided tours have follow-along references using your cell phone. Great for keeping your own pace. There were just as many children excited to see the Winter Estates as the adults. A few of my favorite highlights are in the images of the laboratory, the Ford, and the pier. At the end of your visit, cool down in the museum. And before you go, there is a seating area with some refreshing drinks in the shade. So neat to see what the inventing minds of our country had for their everyday use.

Don’t let the price which may seem high shy you away from this gem of a destination in Fort Myers. There are plenty of places to stop and admire the view and the beautiful grounds without a lot of noise or heavy people traffic. I spent 30 minutes on a bench under coconut trees just listening to birds and the waves of the river splashing against the shore. The app is full of great facts and content to make the self tour fully immersive. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful.

Very interesting exhibits, thought I knew quite a bit about Edison, but a lot of this was new. Interesting insights into his life and friends. The grounds were very nice as well, nicely maintained and interesting plantings.

I was in town for another event but spent the rest of the day here touring the grounds and museum. I absolutely enjoyed my visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a mini presentation on how to work the old phonograph devices that I enjoyed listening to. There's lots of small little walking trails on the grounds including one by the river that is very nice. You can't get lost and there are benches to sit everywhere. I enjoyed using the app to tell me about certain spots. I'm not much of a plant person but they have plants everywhere here. Some very pretty. I am a history nerd and this is a great place if you like history. I learned a lot.

If this is the type of history you enjoy, you'll probably like touring the grounds and poking your head into the homes, Edison's study, and the museum. The homes are underwhelming in my mind; period furniture that you'll see at just about any historical home/building of roughly the same era. That being said, it isn't totally my thing, so you might notice interesting differences. The grounds are pretty with a variety of plant life and a nice walk along the river. The museum is brief, but once again, interesting if this is your type of history. The laboratory adjacent to the museum was the not intriguing thing for me.

A must-see attraction when in the Fort Myers area. Took the guided tour and it was a great experience. Started with a 15-minute intro to Edison, Ford, and the history. The group (~12 persons) walked around with the guide and we stopped regularly to get more info about the buildings, plants and trees, history, etc.

We've lived in Fort Myers for a few years, yet this was the first time we were willing to dish out $30 to visit this place. We picked a good time, because the place is very beautiful when covered in Christmas lights. The Christmas trees decorated by local classrooms were particularly nice. The history and exhibits at the estate were interesting, but I'm not convinced worth the $30 entrance fee by themselves.

Wonderful visit. The guided tour is recommended if you want to ask questions or learn more in depth knowledge if the premises and their occupants. Didn't realize that the Edisons and Fords were good friends. Great gift shop with a number of books to choose from, great kids toys and handmade art pieces.

We went for Holiday Nights and loved it! They did such an amazing job decorating for the holidays. We loved learning about the estates and the families who lived there. There were plenty of docents around to answer questions and they were very knowledgeable. The interpretive signs were also very helpful. We had a laugh over the house rules. "Don't kill the black snakes under the porch. They are there for a reason!" And "Don't tell us about Palm Beach. We don't care." There were many photo ops throughout the estates. The gift shops had really nice things from snacks to books to Christmas ornaments.

We came on a Saturday evening for the Holiday Nights light show. It was such a cool experience. The houses had the top glass doors open. You could look into the rooms but could not enter. The gift shop was also open, and there were plants for purchase. The only thing we could not do was the museum as it had closed a couple hrs before we arrived. This is a family event, so bring the kids. The bathrooms were clean. There was music playing as well as snacks and drinks available for purchase. The Banyan trees are an amazing sight to see. The parking does fill up, but there is plenty of overflow parking available. I recommend to anyone looking to get into the holiday spirit.

This place is so beautiful. Every time you come you find something new. It’s so quiet and peaceful there are reading spots and overlooks with a view. I have seen baby gators, owls, snakes and so many other cool things. There aren’t any bugs and the canopy of the trees keeps you shaded and comfortable. The best place for a scenic walk with friends/family!

Free entry. $1 an hour to park. Very much worth the stop! Its a walk along a boardwalk through the Cypress slough. The preserve staff was very informative. We seen lots of wildlife, including an alligator and many birds.

Great place to visit, we were leaving the hotel to go to the airport and had a couple hours to burn. A little research brought me to 6 mile Cypress Slough. Once you arrive you park and pay $1 per hour, we did 2 hours. Its a beautiful walk along about 1.3 miles of boardwalk wandering through a marshy cypress forest. I can't explain how beautiful it was, you really need to see it for yourself if you are nature enthusiastic. We went in April and was quite wet as the host David stated. If you are lucky you will spot alot of wildlife. Once you get through the trail, head to the interpretation center which is a little museum and gift shop. Tip: there's also bathroom in the museum And also one by the trail entrance. Great way to end a very beautiful weekend at fort Myers Beach!

A scenic hike for all ages! The elevated walkway makes this hiking trail available for everyone. Strollers wheelchairs and fast walkers alike. Six Mike Cypress Slough offers many shaded viewing areas with benches for wildlife viewing as well as resting. Keep your binoculars handy for seeking out the hidden wildlife. Gators, birds, turtles and a few quick glimpses of otters were the attractions on this visit. The peaceful quiet of the area aids in the comfort of the wildlife that almost pose for their pictures. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes for a hike the entire family can enjoy.

This is an AMAZING place to visit. While surrounded by city life, it is hidden away enough to where you really feel detached from society. When you enter, it feels like you're walking through a different world entirely. If you go late afternoon or early morning, you will see an abundance of wildlife. Herons, alligators, owls, and so much more have been seen here. I hope you visit and get the chance to see the life that existed before humans settled the area!

Boardwalk is great. So well maintained. Loved it. Great for everyone. Birdwatchers, families, those just wanting to take a nature walk. Bring your camera or just make sure your phone is charged. Take some great photos. It's a slice of Florida at its best.

Beautiful little hiking trail that lasts about 30 minutes for good paced walking. Lots of mini gators! gorgeous herons, and many other birds in their natural habitat. Quiet and peaceful to say the least. Only $1 for parking for a great activity that not only that exerts energy, but gets you (and the kids!) to have a great hands on learning experience in biology!

Went with my family, which included 3 kids ages 4-9. The 1.2 mile walk took about 2 hours because of stops at different areas to see wildlife and points of interest. We all had a great time. I recommend it for 2 to 3 hours outside in a swamp environment where you can stretch your legs, give the kids some exercise and teach them something about nature, and if you're lucky see a snake and baby alligator (and maybe mama) in a safe manner on an elevated boardwalk.

Such a beautiful park that is well maintained and has such diverse wildlife. The boardwalk is exquisite. NO DOGS! Parking is $1/hour or $5/day, but I don't know if it's monitored. Lots of tables and benches. Lots of available parking when I went (mid day on a Wednesday), but could see how parking may be limited during peak times. They do have restroom facilities, but they appeared to be under construction when I was there (April 2022). They did have porta-potties that seemed to be well maintained. There are also guided tours, which we didn't attend, and an interpreter center, which we didn't check out. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Just pay for parking. It’s a unique environment for a hike. I didn’t notice any bug’s biting and I spent about 90 minutes walking the boardwalks after a quick rain shower. It wasn’t overly crowded and I was able to take my time and read the informational boards about the local wildlife and plants.

My cousins (Edna and Jo) took me to this hidden gem which provides a picturesque setting for nature enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility. As you enter Six Mile Cypress, you are immediately greeted by a lush canopy of towering cypress trees, creating a soothing and inviting ambiance. The well-maintained trails wind through the preserve, guiding you on a peaceful journey through the natural beauty of Southwest Florida. The diverse ecosystem within Six Mile Cypress is a paradise for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Throughout our visit, we encountered a variety of bird species, including herons, egrets, and ospreys, gracefully soaring overhead or perched along the water's edge. The preserve is also home to turtles, alligators, 🐊 snake 🐍 and other native wildlife, offering ample opportunities for observing and appreciating nature up close

It was a fun time for minimal cost. In fact, the only cost is the parking, which is $1 per hour. They have an elaborate boardwalk that leads around the grounds and offers varying nature and wildlife viewing. Fun for all ages.

Wow, what a beautiful preserve! The whole park is very clean and well kept up after, and they have a beautiful trail that takes you by many different ponds with lots of opportunities to see all the amazing wildlife. They have alligator, turtles, otters and so many cool birds just to name a few of the critters you might see. If you haven’t checked this place out, or you are thinking about it, you should. It’s well worth it.

Great place for an easy walk all on a boardwalk and to see some beautiful natural sites. Just over 1 mile if you walk the whole trail. Parking is a dollar an hour. The lots fills up by 10 am during high season, and the boardwalk gets busy. Try to get there early. Saw lots of birds and an otter. Staff is very friendly.

Such a great place for a walk with family to enjoy nature. There is a shorter trail and a longer one so if you want to take a short cut you can. The entire path is on a boardwalk with railings. There are plenty of benches and lookout points. Parking is by meter and there are picnic tables and a public restroom at the entrance.

Went for a walk, while I didn't see too many birds, those with keener eyes saw ten species (!). Lots of pretty fauna to take pictures of. Also, there was a presentation on gators and crocodiles that was very interesting! We learned a lot and it was a lot of fun.

We had a great time hiking and pícnicing at the preserve. Highlight was seeing an alligator come up on the dock to get some sun! Saw lots of birds, turtles and tropical plants. What a great fun FREE activity to do with kids! Only cost was parking.

Slough has very nice walking paths..elevated & wooden. A lot of shade, so it's still doable on a hot day. We only saw birds..no gators, otters or other unique wildlife, but still a nice walk. Would recommend taking bug spray.

I love coming here to get my mind off the mundane routine of it all. There's always parking and you never have to worry about overcrowding. Theres a variety of wildlife that you can get excited about. It's mostly birds, insects, and reptiles. So, if that excited you, even better! Overall, it's a great please to walk an easy path for a couple of dollars ( parking) and to see some interesting scenery.

This spot is a photography enthusiast's dream – one of my absolute favorites! Nestled on the prestigious Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, it offers regular sightings of alligators, a diverse array of wading birds and songbirds, not to mention a captivating mix of snakes and flora. Every visit promises a thrilling adventure as you explore the enchanting wonders of this nature boardwalk!

Beautiful natural piece of Cypress slew that contains a plethora of episiotic plants, lichens, Wild birds, turtles, gators, lizards, butterflies, fish, and much more to see if you are quiet and wait patiently. The boardwalks are well maintained and the Lookouts are volume is so that your party and others have the space to look out across the ponds and enjoy the scenery. Great facility that offers indoor and outdoor bathrooms and a visitor center with information.

This preserve is wonderful! A 1.2 mile loop that is teeming with life, right near the action! Did not see any alligators but saw turtles, herons, wood ducks, anhinga. Only pay for parking & donations are asked for (and well deserved!).

Wonderful time! Last experience before we headed to the airport to head back north (to the cold) and it did not disappoint. Lovely boardwalk path through the slough (pronounced slew per the very kind and informative greeter/guide) the kids loved the scavenger hunt and small prize they won. No alligator sightings but plenty of other wildlife with birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, plant life etc.

Fun, easy walk around the boardwalk. On a day where it isn't hot it's nice. We didn't see a ton of wildlife, but the walk through the woods is still nice. The only expense is $1 per hour parking.

I was looking for something to do while I waited to catch a flight back home. I googled parks near the airport and discovered this nature gem within 20 minutes of the airport. Parking is $1 per hour or $5 for a day pass. Unless you like to sit, listen, and watch, 2 hours is more than enough here. The boardwalk trail was easy to adventure. The paths are clearly marked with guide markers for you to know your where abouts. Photographers were capturing sneak pics of an owl. Alligators can be seen if you've got an eye for wildlife. Birds chirping and fish splashing are the sounds that fill this swampy trail. The trail is a short distanced trail, so no worries, it's not an overhaul hike that will leave you exhausted. Take a stroll if you have no fear, and you'll be surprised at what you spy with your little eyes 👀.

The information boards about the manatees were very Informative. Plenty of seating and shade for those taking their time along the walk. Very much enjoyed the music from the lady playing the hand pans in the pavilion.

What a lovely park. The workers are helpful and friendly. I like coming here because they have rentals for my family and friends to join in on the fun! They also have clean bathrooms that are fully stocked. You're able to go either up the river or out towards the bay for different experiences. The houses around there are nice to look at and up river there's a farm with cows! I frequent often.

The park is very small and picturesque, we went at around 9 in the morning and we saw many manatees poking their heads out and tails. I would recommend going there at opening time to see the manatees as they like it a little bit cooler and will surface more of their body at the temperature. The boardwalk was gorgeous, and very education for the little ones. They have bathrooms, playgrounds, and a butterfly garden. They also have kayaks you can rent and go around the mangrove forest being up close with the manatees. The parking was also very cheap with it being only 2/hr, and the place was definitely worth the time!

It is a beautiful area to paddle around. They have kayaks for rent, and you can bring your own and launch there. The parking was $5. We saw 3 manatees while we were paddling around in the early afternoon.

This was a surprise! We were looking for covered playgrounds to burn some energy while staying out of the sun. Before we even made it to the playground we took a walk through the mangroves, saw some manatees, hung out by the water, played on the boardwalk, and hung out with a (fake) alligator. Parking is a reasonable $2/hr. Parking is plentiful for the size of the park. There is a gift shop with snacks and reasonably clean restrooms. There are lots of walking trails, all gentle and easy. The highlight of the visit was the walk along the water, which had covered awnings every 50 yards or so which provided VERY comfortable manatee viewing areas on a hot 90F day. The water channel appears to be a power-plant cooling discharge...my guess is that manatees like the warmer water. I was chasing a 3 year old so I didn't have much time to learn (but the opportunity is there with lots of signage). We got to see a few manatees without a lot of waiting. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip...we're big animal people. What toddler parent isn't? There are boardwalks over the water through the mangroves that lead to a kayak launch area (it would be LOTS of fun to rent a kayak here...maybe when the kid is a little older), another manatee viewing area, and other locations within the park. The playgrounds are on the smaller side and better for kids under 4 probably. This was a great visit and will be a future stop. If you bring lunch, this could be a two hour visit. More if you rent a Kayak.

Great place to learn a thing or two about Floridas wildlife, kayak on the orange river, and, if it's winter time and the water is below 68°F, you probably will see manatees!!! It's very inexpensive to rent a kayak, the facilities are clean and functional, and the employees are kind and helpful. You really can't get lost and it's very safe! They also have a little gift shop with snacks and such. I definitely recommend! Have fun 😊

I visited the manatee park with high hopes of seeing these gentle giants, but unfortunately, there were none in sight. The park's size was smaller than expected, and the overall experience left me disappointed. Considering the absence of manatees, I doubt I'll be returning.

Great park! Parking was only $1 for an hour, and the kiosk closest to the gift shop accepts credit and debit cards. Plenty of spots to stop and view the manatees. We have visited the park in the past but were unable to spot any, but this trip we easily spotted many swimming around and coming up for air. There are some boardwalks and walking trails in the park to enjoy the area. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

We first went late in the day. We walked along the boardwalk & saw two manatees surface!! We went back the next day to rent kayaks. We rented for 2 hours & saw a ton of manatees! We saw several pods hanging out near the banks while we were out. Highly recommend going out in the kayaks (the tour sounds cool if you've got time!). The water there was very dark & murky, but we had no problems finding manatees. There were tons of them!!

What a nice park. I have been a lee county resident for 40 years and have never been to this park. I took my kids for a meet up with our homeschool group and it truly is a gem. We had fun looking for manatees and walking the small trail they have. We went and looked out over the water. We visited the small shop and got drinks. The kids played on the playgrounds and we walked around the entire park. I would recommend anyone visit this place. Definitely will be back. You pay for parking but it’s $5 for the entire day. You can also kayak, launch your own or rent one from the park.

I love this place! We used the public kayak launch, which isn’t too far a walk from the nearest car drop off point. It’s a cool mangrove area within the park, but this leads you out to the Orange River. They also offer kayak rentals here. We didn’t see any manatees, however we did see turtles, and lots of bird and fish. The current was not even noticeable as we headed east on the river but once we turned around a wind kicked up making the current pick up against us. Overall easy awesome paddle!

It was nice. I saw the rare atala butterflys. Not a single manatee, but it just wasn't the season. Sad i didn't get to see one on my vacation, lol.

Awesome Park, we visited on 12/28/2023. There were a dozen or more manatee swimming that day do beautiful site to see. They also offered kayaking with the manatee, which looked really cool, but we had other things to do. I'd highly recommend seeing this if you're in the area.

This was our second time at the Manatee Park! It’s such a great place to enjoy watching the Manatee and their baby’s, pluss sharks, and other fish close up between January and March. They have an area with butterfly’s, a snack bar, inside area with tons on back ground information about the Manatee, they sell refreshing snow cones, they have a Gift shop and if you want to see Sea Turtles, snakes etc you can go down the street in overflow parking and get a ride to visit the Florida Aquarium buildings where they rescue sick turtles etc and see them up close as they get rehabilitation and later get released back into the ocean. We had a great time and it’s Free!

Nice smaller park right on a canal and a smaller river. A shorter trail will take you along the canal and to the river. Unfortunately the river was extremely warm (92F, 33C) here in March, so it is too warm for manatees. So no animal sightings at all. There are restrooms and a gift shop.

A beautiful park with a butterfly garden, walking paths, kayak launch, two small playgrounds (no swings), and lots of nature. We did not see any manatees as we were there during a time where they have typically left back to the ocean. There is a gift shop open until 5pm and public restrooms.

Cheap fun for all. Paid for parking. A very nice and clean park. The manatees were so neat to watch. The gift shop was reasonably priced. We did not kayak due to it being a very windy day. The paths within the park were clean, smooth, and easy to get around. The butterfly garden was beautiful.

Went with my family to check out Florida wildlife, wasn’t disappointed! lot’s of manatees were in the canal and we could see there noses, tails, and bellies popping out of the water. Cool trees and nature paths to walk around, cute little gift shop as well. Highly recommend it Planing to visit again to spend more time

a wonderful place to take the family and kids for a day trip, or if you’re new to swfl. the manatees are gentle creatures, and you’re able to rent kayaks to ride alongside them in the water. there are trails to follow in nature and a fun park to distract the kids for a while so parents can take a breather

I love the variety of things this park offers. It has a small train museum with gift shop, a mile long mini train ride, walking with mother nature (and a bike trail I still have yet to walk), 2 small water parks/play area (1 currently under construction), 2 playgrounds (1 under construction), wide open spaces (for sports, parties, or whatever you can imagine), small lake for fishing or paddle board or those boats you pedal (self propelled), AND a Children's Garden with a Community Growing Garden. It's a $5 parking fee for all day, which helps develop and maintain the park but it is worth it. Train rides are $5/person, children under 3 are free, or buy a pass like me for $45 for 13 rides. It's a beautiful place for kids and adults. You can rent the boats and family bikes. I believe prices are reasonable starting at single riders (2 people) for $20, I saw the sign didn't really rent one yet. And during the holidays there's events with multitudes of other things to do. We can definitely spend all day there and never be bored.

Went here to do some walking with mom. Beautiful morning to get out, and it's a pretty park. There are some areas in the shade towards the back, but it's mostly in the sun now, thanks to past hurricanes. We walked about 2 miles, but also a great area to ride your bike around safely. Great area for the kids, there's a community garden and a children's garden, water play area for kids and pavilions for parties. It's $1 an hour to park or $5 for the day. Beautiful grounds to enjoy a walk.

Beautiful area! There are beautiful trails here. People are enjoying themselves all around. They have trails, a botanical garden, kayaking, fishing, playground, lake, train rides, bike rentals, and more! The whole park is beautiful. There is plenty of parking - need to pay to park. Enjoy! 🌴

Had a great time at this park. This was our first time here and I can't wait to go back! There's something for everyone to do here. The ice cream was delicious and we loved walking the trails. They had bicycles and boats you can rent. The splash pads weren't working due to the hurricane, but we are looking forward to when they get it fixed. The bathrooms were accessible and well kept. There are gardens there you can walk through. Unfortunately, we did not do that but will definitely do that next time we go!

Great find. Went here in late February. Our two year old loved the playground, the train ride, and his front seat on our surrey rental. Decent snack shop with hot food and ice cream. Beautiful lake to pedal or hike around. The train museum was a neat detour from the outdoor fun. Would recommend.

Lakes Park is a great place for families. We rented a Surrey and rode around the paved trails. It was a fun time and a good workout!

This park has something for everyone! I took my toddler grandson and we rode the little train which takes you through the park passing by miniature towns, over little bridges and water. The whistle blows and conductor was great and enthusiastic. Then to the snack bar for a treat and drink. There’s a real train on display, the engine. Lots of great playgrounds, one train themed, splash pads, walking/running paved paths, swings, restrooms and more. Also a great kids area and garden to explore. A perfect morning of fun and exercise in the great SWFL area! We’ll be back!

This park is great. The county could do better at concessions. Sadly the swan boats cost more per hour than a real boat. The maintenance people need improvement on social skills. My favorite part of this park is the train ticket staff and museum staff. In particular the member named Vickie was very kind to my wondering twins. Definitely a must visit. Maybe in the near future they will make a pet friendly area. Parking fee is not enforced..!?

I’m sorry to leave a negative review. We always enjoyed this place. Today I called to the park at 10.30’am to be sure the train rides and the museum were working. It rained but when we arrived before 1 pm the sun was shining again. We traveled 45 minutes and everything is closed. The lady assured me it was open until 2 pm. This is unfair and not justified.

Enjoyed a good day at Lakes Park biking with friends. The trails are nicely maintained and the scenery around the lake is quite pleasant. It’s a peaceful place for a casual outing and the biking paths are decent for a relaxed ride. It’s a decent spot for group activities or just to enjoy a bit of nature. Would recommend for a low-key day out. Wednesdays they have a farmers market that’s excellent to come back for!

It is a beautiful place to spend the day with family, friends or even by yourself. You can go walking biking or rent pedal boats in the lake. Great for parties playing soccer or any outdoor activities. Do not miss the trait ride! It is a must for me. So cute and fun!!!!!

Great walking park, with different trail options! Beautiful water areas, and the bridge walking path is lovely. Lots to see. And two playgrounds, one on either side of the bridge area. Must be good for bird watching, because a lot of people were out with binoculars. Also must be decent fishing because there were a number of fishers out. Could see tilapia, bass, and minnows in the water. Lots of people on a weekday, so I can't imagine what the weekends are like when it's nice out! The playgrounds are perfect for kids! And it's right next to the railroad museum, so you can stop there after with kids and pay $5 for a 15 minute ride! The farmers market here on Wednesday was also impressive! But very busy! Good luck finding a parking spot when it's busy 😅

My kids had a really good entire day in here. The place has a big playground area, very well maintained. We also went to the train museum and got into the train ride 2 times, is really a good experience, at the time each ticket cost $5, kids less than 5 years ride free. This ride is awarded in Christmas when they have a light show and so in hallowing. The park is huge, another part the kids enjoyed was getting in the inflatables area, 5 different inflatables, this cost $12 per children and last the entire day, bit overpriced for me, but kids loved. We had rapid foot in the cafeteria just across the museum, we had chicken tenders, fries and ice cream, the area for eat is outside next to the lake, awesome views but, be AWARE of the birds around, they pup in my kids fries 🥴. The park also have place to rent bikes and enjoy the ride with the entire family, you could walk if you prefer, you will see a lot of birds, turtles and fishes in the lake, never saw an alligator but you never know 😉. We stay from 11am to 3:30pm, and I’m really glad came here with the kids. I will recommend to others parents around.

Really nice park with so many different activities. Anything from a fitness trail with stations for pull ups, sit ups, etc. A shorter hiking trail with opportunities to see many birds, turtles, etc. Lakes for fishing. A narrow gauge train ride, and play grounds for the kids.

Gorgeous park with 2 playgrounds. Train rides for kids, if you want to do it as a 3-6 person family more then once by the 13 ticket pack. Park is $5 for full day or $1 per hour. There is a small food stand that makes burgers hot dogs and chicken fingers with fries. 2 spots to grab ice cream or rent bikes. Splash pad won't be open until probably the summer 2024. Great park!

Great sight lines. Fun pregame atmosphere with live band on the plaza with food trucks. Food is expensive yet most of it was well received. Sitting in the Green Monster keeps you in the shade. The stadium is not wraparound, so make sure to do the walk out to right field lawn and also all the way up to the top of the Green Monster (ask the security guard if you can grab a pick) - make sure to look behind the stadium from up there too, to see all the practice fields.

The ballpark is just OK. Really slow and long food lines and the game wasn’t even sold out. Craft beer options are very limited. Hammond Stadium a few minutes away is a much better experience.

Replica of their stadium provides the 'feel' of hometown baseball. Purchase tickets on-line or at the stadium. Parking was efficient. Traffic not bad. Some areas covered for those sun conscious. Varied food options. Cool yet sunny skies gave a lovely experience of spring training. Saw a hometown player bat several times along with a home run.

I went to a Red Sox versus Twins game on Sunday March 26th. I thought the park was very nice, and there's really not a bad seat in there. The game started at 1:00 and there was a decent amount of shade for about half of the seats in the stadium. I would not have wanted to been in the outfield bleachers, or in the seats beyond the left field wall, or a few other areas but generally it is a great ballpark for viewing. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but you just have to get there a little bit ahead of game time to ensure that you're going to see the first pitch. As is typical these days the only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of service and employee attitude. I went to a concession stand up up beyond the left field line, since they wouldn't let me enter with my own water bottle (hydro flask), and water was $4 a bottle. The other prices weren't bad, for instance for an Italian sausage with peppers and onions for $7.75, or a hot dog, but then you had to wait to get a drink and pay at the end of the line. If people wanted only food they still had to wait for people getting beers and drinks and it was extremely inefficient and time-consuming. Two people cooking in one person checking everyone out when the ratio should have been reversed. I will say that I'm 6'3" and the aisles were a little cramped. Be prepared to stand up and sit down every time someone wants into or out of your row. Fun day, good seats, slow food and drink both in the concession area and the vendors walking around.

Easy parking. Wonderful design allowing for shade and breeze. Love the Fenway park design and accurate dimensions. Looked forward to attending a game here for many years. Finally made it to see a young Team Jam ministry friend's son play in the Perfect Game 14u national select game. Probablly the most enjoyable and comfortable game experience Ive had in years. Last chance to be here was in 2013. Had to wait a while for this. Saw our young friend win the homerun derby too!

Great minor league stadium. Only down point is the way they have the good set up. More like a food truck area. Seats were narrower than most stadiums.

Fantastic park! Awesome staff! Had a great time watching my Sox win! We were with my Dad & finished off the night getting a golf cart ride to our car with a hilarious woman. She was a boss directing cars out of her way. 5 stars all around!

This is one of our favorite parks for spring training. The carnival atmosphere right outside the stadium is so exciting and unique! Food trucks, live music, batting cages for the kids, radar gun for the kids! Love the vibe at this park. We are Atlanta Braves fans and the visiting team players exit on the 3rd base side at the end of the game. They give autographs and talk with fans and kids!! Great stadium and venue!!!

Good fun in the sun! Food, drinks, and parking were all easy as can be. There isn’t a bad seat in the place. I’ve been to Fenway hundreds of times in my lifetime and this was a nice second choice if you’re looking for a fun ball field to visit. Be careful of fly balls along the pesky pole!

Very cool. Same as Fenway, except every seat in the stands is a great seat! Watching them play under the lights was amazing!

This was our first trip to JetBlue Park, and it won't be our last. It has a very retro feel, similar to Fenway, as it's clear it was designed to replicate. The outside surrounding the park was done really well, it has that street party feel like when you are in Boston. Most of the seats are in direct sunlight, so be prepared to get a lot of sun. We sat on the first base side 5 rows in, which was a fantastic view, but even the seats against the wall behind us looked great because of how small the park is. The scoreboards are operated manually like Fenway. Oh, we had the opportunity to get pictures with the 07 and 13 world series trophies, which were on display. The Ortiz picture I added was made of Legos. Parking is free, somewhat easy to navigate, but plan on being in a long line of traffic after the game since there is really only one way in and out for most of the vehicles. Cute town, but loved the experience. Go Sox!

Had a great time. Very clean. A ton of people to help you out. Be careful using a 3rd party service to get tickets, and then having them ready when you go to the gate. Make sure you follow the 3rd party steps so you are ready and your wife doesn't yell at you while you do it in line. I like how they have recreated the green monster. They even have someone keeping score manually.

Great ball park and very well maintained fields. Our fields for the tournament were the best. The grounds crew and facilities management did an amazing job of preparing and taking care of the fields throughout the tournament. I’m extremely grateful and thankful for my opportunity to play at this incredible ball park.

I got there so early I was 20th in line. I received my medium sized Hawaiian shirt. I virtually had the entire park to myself for the first hour I was there. I walked around and saw everything I wanted to. By game time the park was jam packed. The Red Sox won in late innings to beat the Philadelphia Phillies. I highly recommend. My ticket was very reasonable @ $36.00.

Don’t love the stadium design. Small electronic scoreboard makes it hard to see info, especially important at Spring Training with unfamiliar players. Concourses were extremely cramped and effectively outside the stadium disconnecting you completely from the game when going to restroom or seeking food. Food was actually pretty good. The mini big green monster is awesome.

We came down for a Red Sox-Yankees spring training game and were treated to a great blowout by the Sox! Lots of quality concession options and activities. I found the infrastructure to be of good quality, but the amenities not very well staffed or stocked. The concession stands were extremely, painfully slow, requiring several innings of standing, and there was no ketchup, barbecue sauce, or any condiments like that. A little more attention to detail would make this ballpark perfect.

Bottom line: you want to stay here. Great location, competitive rates. Convenient to restaurants, nightlife and attractions as well as being family-friendly and with quiet rooms. Very safe (courthouses on 3 sides). If you like fun, drinks or bingo, definitely settle in before Thursday night for the hotel restaurant-bar. No spoilers. Lovely, clean, modern rooms set amongst updated-where-needed historic architecture. Incredibly friendly staff, prompt housekeeping, cozy bed and linens. In ~3 decades, this 3-night stay was easily one of my best hotel experiences. Will be back.

Under renovation. Pool was closed fitness center etc. Poor customer service. Room was never cleaned. Elevator smells like smoke. There’s a drag queen night on Thursday nights that gets super loud and was unable to sleep. No vale parking with all the bars and restaurants parking is an overall challenge. I did not enjoy my stay at all. I hope my company books me else where when I return.

Good location, didn’t catch her name, but one of the front desk girls was great. Super friendly, gave great recommendations. The rest of the front desk had no personality. We stayed there as part of a wedding block. They’re under renovation, and there was no notice given that the pool and bars were closed (something we were excited about). When alerting the front desk to our disappointment, the response was ‘Oh, sorry’. For a few dollars more a night, we could have stayed at the brand new hotel downtown. The rooms were a outdated, but clean. The air conditioning unit sucked, and there was no mini fridge in the room. Wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here.

Terrific hotel, Terrific staff! I stayed here for the Fourth of July. The room was perfect, very clean and and a decent size. The view was excellent ( I booked the 6th floor balcony). You are well within walking distance to many restaurants and bars and very close to many attractions. I would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo in downtown Fort Myers!

The front desk ladies are so friendly! This is a cute hotel undergoing great renovations! Can’t wait to see the new furniture in place the next time we visit.

Loved the place. The front help are sweet and very helpful. Our room view was facing the city which was a nice view. The rooms are large and smelled Hella clean. Hottest running water possible and fairly quiet for it being downtown. Reason for four stars is due to the renovations being done leaving certain areas unattainable. Regardless, we would still recommend people to this hotel.

The unit is undergoing massive renovation but........the staff here is incredibly awesome! By far the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel. The rooms are super spacious comfortable beds and a view of downtown. The rate was discounted because of renovations. Overall the experience was fantastic.

The location is the only decent part of this hotel. The AC unit is incredibly loud, the TV is tiny, there is no mini refrigerator, the shower water smells, baseboards are filthy, room service is bizarre at best, the windows don’t open/nor is there a balcony in all but 4 rooms, the furniture is as cheap as it comes and don’t forget anything because the front desk lacks basic toiletries. The lobby bar is depressing and I’ve yet to see the rooftop bar open. Oh and there’s tons of tacky wall paper and curtains that desperately need to be washed.

Hotel is under pretty major remodel. And when they are finished it will probably be a great place but for this stay our room was VERY small, & unfinished, . Tile in bathroom was dirty & mold in the shower. Definitely not a room worth $200 a night. We have stayed in much nicer places for a lot less money. It is in a good location for the downtown, if that's what you are looking for.

We live in the neighboring County and come to Fort Myers at least once a month, first time at this hotel. It was a large room very clean and nice. The staff were friendly informative and happy to help. The hotel has a Rooftop Bar, pool and a nice workout area. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and other downtown events. Had a great stay for the money and location. Plan on doing it again.

The hotel is located in Historic Downtown Fort Myers. Which is about 10 minutes from Page Field and 20-25 minutes from the Fort Myers International. The beaches and Sanibel are 20 minutes to the west. The hotel had a boutique feel to it with remodeled rooms in a historic building. The hotel was undergoing some major renovations during my stay so the pool and fitness center were closed. Also, the rooftop bar and restaurant were closed. However, just outside the hotel there are tons of local small restaurants serving all meals. The staff was very kind and even let me use their microwave since there isn’t one in the room. The room was very clean and modern as was the bathroom. The bed was really soft as were the linens. The room has satellite TV and fast internet for streaming. The room however does not have a fridge and as mentioned above, no microwave. The location is unbeatable with many shops, restaurants, and the marina within a short walk.

Great way to catch some great baseball. This is the Minnesota Twins spring training facility. It’s $10.00 parking and game tickets are very affordable. We enjoyed a great game and had a great time.

Always lots of fun at a Mighty Mussels baseball game. Even more so when there's fireworks after the game on the Fourth of July.

What a beautiful, inviting Park! Staff were all amazing, too. One of my party needed special attention and everyone from vendors to EMTs was helpful and respectful. I loved our experience here.

It was our first time there at it was amazing watching the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox play. The stadium is beautiful.

Easy in and easy out! There is plenty of parking close to the entrance of the stadium. It was two for one hot dog and beer night. The hotdogs were surprisingly good. A meaty 1/4 pound all beef hot dog that was very tasty. There isn't a bad seat in this stadium and it was very clean. Our team lost but we witnessed some very good baseball being played.

My favorite sport is baseball using wooden bats back in the day I should have turned pro. The concession lines were long during the two different rain delay breaks. That night had the longest fireworks display ever on record during that beautiful July 3 celebration.

For an afternoon game (1pm.start) when it's really hot, section 204 is a good choice. Great field view and got coverage from sun up until top of seventh. Great ballpark. Arrive early as parking is a challenge.

Spring home of the Minnesota Twins. Nice complex (huge). Easy parking $10 on game day. Free on non - game days when going to watch workout. Not a bad seat in the house and lawn seating in leftfield as well as down rightfield line.

This stadium holds a multitude of events. The first time I had the pleasure to experience it was on Easter for their free Easter egg hunt. It was more of a field frenzy as the eggs were scattered across the field but the kids loved it and we got to enjoy a baseball ball game after. My second time to the stadium was for the National Day of Prayer with guest speaker Dr. Ben Carson. It was amazing as 2500 people showed. Lee county holds many free events to support and lift up the community and I’m grateful for this venue. They have multiple food counters across the stadium which helps with long lines. Alcohol is sold responsibly and a variety of drinks are also available. The food options are great and they even have a local BBQ food counter. There is something for everyone.

The park seems huge by Spring Training standards, with ample parking just out the main stadium and tons of great seating. In fact, the concourse allows for viewing the game at any angle all the way around the diamond, though some spots are actual ticketed seats. I would have hated it 5 stars...but I got some food poisoning from the bratzs I ate there for dinner. Great night, not a great morning.

Came to Saturday Yankee / Twins game. Bumper to bumper for 90 MINUTES to get in and parked. WHY ? Stadium needs to mange better. Offer shuttle buses...or something.😡

Went to see Spring Training. Very impressed with all the wiping down of railings and the amount of stands with hand sanitizer!! They are on top of their game. All workers wore mask and did so with a friendly attitude. When you are setting in a row of seats only your party is in that entire row. That is great covid prevention!! All of seats in your row are secured shut. Definitely 100% felt safe!

Had a nice time at the IMAG and thought the price was decent. They seem to be constructing a new area on the first floor so might return to see what they did there. I thought the interactive globe on the second floor was fun to look at. The animals seem well cared for and the ship in their big tank was really cool to look at.

My son absolutely loves this place! The lady doing the science experiment show did an amazing job! We got to pet a snake and the stingrays. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Fun virtual reality they have at certain times throughout the day.

Such a great place for my daughter. She loved the wildlife, the play area and the space/weather exhibit. My husband loved it as well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We are sad that the 3D movies weren't working. Hopefully next visit it will be.

This is such a fun, informative place. I went with a 12 & 7 year old. We all learned something. We enjoyed the exhibits. The shows are boring and I'd recommend an update with more kid friendly options. But it's still a great science center! You can see everything in a couple hours.

We needed somewhere to kill time in between checking out of our hotel and heading to the airport for our evening flight. We took our 2.5 year old here and we all had a great time! There was a lot to keep her entertained. She really liked seeing different animals and fish, and the hands on activity area.

Cute little “museum” with lots of play options for kids of all ages. It’s a bit older and some items were damaged and unusable but we still spent 4+ hours there and had a great time. The staff was great very friendly and welcoming. The animal show was fun and gave the opportunity to get up close and personal with some cute critters.

We had an amazing experience here! There is so much history and so many different things to do here. There is a huge room for kids play. They had things like balls that you could roll down different tracks and making your own roller coasters. They had a section for you to be your own news reporter, make a lightning storm, touch a cloud and find anywhere in the world using Google maps. My kids ages 2 and 10 as well as myself had a great time. They do have a cafe that you can order food from and eat outside at their picnic tables either in the shade or in the sun. Our favorite thing there were the whisper dishes that were found outside by the fish pond. Make sure you visit after you feed the fish in the turtles whisper through the ring and the sound will bounce off of the big satellite dishes behind it, it was super cool to play phone tag through them. They have a large theater that shows 3D movies, we were able to see two different movies the day we were there, and recommend titanosaur, both were absolutely great. They had a large section that showed the Old Town Fort Myers, it was cool to see the replicas and the history of the town. There was a large Sputnik room that gave history and also upon walking up to the building there is a 911 memorial that has a timeline of events. It was cool to walk with the kids and tell them what I remembered from that day. There is also a gift shop at the front of the store, of course you have to walk through it to buy your tickets and for entry! LOL. We recommend the hurricane simulator!!! All in all a great place to spend a day with the family.

Clean, beautiful and friendly staff. We used the ASTC pass from our membership and the employee made the experience fast and easy. Their exhibits are great especially since they have many hands on experiences.

A delightful little museum, I've been there a couple times now. It's about $20 for adults although they do have some discounted rates for EBT card holders. It's not a very big museum and most of what's displayed can all be seen in about 2 hours. They have some great hands on exhibits that kids will love. Super friendly staff. Honestly kids or no kids it's not a bad way to spend a couple hours on a hot SWFL day.

Spent $85 to take my kids here for Spring Break. Over HALF of the exhibits were “broken” and out of service, a good portion of exhibits were missing parts making them useless, and animals were missing from their exhibits. We were there for all of 20(ish) minutes and my children all agreed they were no longer interested. I questioned about getting a refund and I was told “there’s nothing we can do.” What a joke! I advise you call ahead and verify what all IS and IS NOT working/available to view. **FOR REFERENCE - GOOGLE REVIEW ONLY ALLOWS ME TO ADD THREE IMAGES**

I'm very disappointed. Multiple exhibits were not functional or not open. What was open was very limited, not a very large facility. Multiple areas were just in absolute dissarray. We drove 40 minutes to get here, and we spent maybe 30 minutes to do everything. Their snack house was very overpriced. For 3 "chicken fingers" cost $8. There is outdoor covered seating to eat, but due to rain, they weren't wiping anything down, so it was just sitting on the floor in a hallway to eat. The tickets are $15 a person, no matter the age, shouldn't be over $10 with how little there is to do. Would not recommend...

My toddler had an absolute blast! He's a curious kid and loved the water tank! Not horribly priced and worth it for the adventure and joy on his eyes. He loved the water table!!

Fun place for the kids and adults. Lots to learn and see and very hands on. Spent lots of time in the theater as they have many different showings both normal and some in 3D. Hands on aquarium right inside the entrance was pretty cool for us since we live in a landlocked state. Many things to learn about ocean life. Would definitely recommend.

Went with grandkids aged 2 & 5. They both had great fun with the older one able to get quite a lot out of the exhibits. Would definitely recommend.

It’s alright. Has a lot of potential. A lot of the exhibits are not in working order. A lot are run down, worn out, in disrepair. There isn’t much for very young children to do. I feel badly for stingrays who are meant to be pet. I feel as though an effort to cultivate live coral in the fish area should be made. There is a lot of room for improvement here.

It was interesting. Very small however - not many exhibits. I paid $10.00 to get in because the movies weren’t running and the touch tank was not installed. Normal price is $19.50.

New management has done a great job cleaning this place. Because it's September, it's still not season, a lot of empty booths or covered booths, but the ones open had attentive sales people and beautiful variety of things. Seems all the hot food booths were open and some of the bars ( yes, they serve alcohol now). 3 small produce booths open but once again, not really growing season. No band playing. Western Star shown here is owned by the management company.

A uniquely Floridian experience. Went in expecting to just look around and gawk at the locals, walked out with a medieval-style dress, Dark Crystal trading cards, Hawaiian shirts, and having eaten some classic American hot dogs. If you're LGBT+, Confederate, Trump-loving, new age, bald, stoner, nerd, nearsighted, whatever, you'll find your niche here. A must-do for foreign tourists.

Great place with free parking. They have a variety of vendors. You will find tools, clothes, toys, electronics, new and used stuff. They also have a bar for those who enjoy an ice cold beer or cold drinks. Music was playing and I could see people having a good time. A few good smelling food vendors as well. Not too hot and well covered for rainy days. Will be coming back to spend some more money.

This used to be one of the best flea markets ever. Unfortunately, the pandemic has taken a toll on all of them across the country. Still though, Flea Masters is a destination. that you have to do. Picked up a few things and always stop for a bite. There is a little place called Zen Deli which has Asian fare. They made a Vietnamese Sandwich (Banh Mi) that will blow your mind! Their Milk Teas are also top notch. You would expect the typical flea market culinary delights such as fried foods, burgers, dogs, etc. But to find Banh Mi in a flea market???? That's awesome. Plan time to sit a rest your feet, this is a huge market with long aisles, and a second building across the way. Plan to be there a while and see everything. I hope vendors return to how it was before the pandemic. Oh by the way, excellent job by the staff in fixing things up after the hurricane last year. Can hardly tell there was any damage.

A truly amazing flea market if you are anything like me you are looking for a flea market with vintage used things. Well this place will 100% scratch that itch! I found a little of everything that i am always on the hunt for. Comics, figures, retro gaming, sports memorabilia and much much more! They also have a bunch of cool Spots to eat at with in the shops. The place is HUGE bring some good shoes you are going to walk quite a bit. Oh and parking is free!

Can’t give much detail. It was hot, long walk… funnel cake was disgusting and very disappointing. I only went there after my brother sent a pic of all the anime figurines. If you happen to be into funko pop, S.H. Figuarts etc check this place out but definitely compare prices online then talk them down 😊

This place is huge! A lot of collections you can spend whole day here. There are multiple food court to fresh up. Tips: 1. Come hungry! So many good food and beverages choices! 2. Plan at least half day so you can browse comfortably.

What a random find. We found the flea market by looking at "things to do in Fort Myers" and I see why it was an option. It's random, it's huge, and it's a good way to kill an afternoon!

Fleamasters is a terrific place to spend your day! Bring the family! From clothes to toys, there is something for everyone. My family and I go frequently! They have video games, books, board games, pet supplies, kitchenware, shoes, hair salons, hats, jewelers, CBD, mystical shops, psychics, furniture, wall decor, lawn ornaments, fresh fruits and vegetables and so much more! The local food vendors have all been there for decades and serve up some delicious dishes! Go support our local community and spend the day getting your steps in a truly fun place to visit! A true Lee County staple! Many stores are veteran friendly!

It’s a good place to go, I gotta say. But they’re are a couple things that I feel should Be needed. 1. We need better air conditioning in there. It gets scorching hot in the building, and I hate being hot. 2. I feel there should be more restaurants and places to get food because there is really only Cuban food and burgers and yeah. It’s good to shop, I just feel it needs some improvement.

You can find a variety of new and old merchandise, antiques, sporting gear, apparel , crafts, etc. lots of area rugs. There is a good variety of food stations; everything from cotton candy to Japanese food, boba tea. Lots of places only accept cash, but there are ATMs. Plenty of clean Restrooms . scooters available to rent

Always love coming here. Big area, great shops. I always stop at the bar and get a drink. They have great food, everything your looking for. I'll update the photos everytime I go back. This is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. It's always busy and service dogs are well to go as well.

Huge! Food was overpriced, so I'd eat before or after. Vendors prices are also a little high as well, but there was an absolute ton of things to see. We all enjoyed it as a family.

Tons of booths. If you're looking for something to do on a rainy day, this place will keep you entertained for a while. Lots of walking. The food booths have quite the variety of food.

Interesting spot, there’s less vintage and genuine flea market items in comparison to the small businesses and stands, a bit messy as a setup, a few that are hard to find have a nice setup.

Great place for bargains and you can get just about anything there. Furniture, toiletries, fruits and vegetables, houseware, toys and a lot more. As well as a lot of food venues. Lots of free parking and so many friendly shop owners and workers. We also visited Zen Deli, which awesome. Great flavorful sandwiches. Recommended!

The 1-star rating is because the owner only responds to the 5-star reviews, rather than commenting on the fair critiques of the market from other visitors. The flea market is worth a visit. The yellow aisle is the best for used items, collectibles, and bargains. The Green aisle has the most overpriced items. The food choices were good, pizza, nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and more. Plus, specialty booths selling ice cream, pickles, brownies, nuts, and popcorn. The market does some nice events to support the community, like collecting can goods for families in need and free backpacks for kids. They need to fix the potholes leading in and out of the parking area.

Not a lot of shops or variety. The shops that were there seemed to be closing early instead of the 9pm on website so be sure to call ahead. Those who were open were very friendly and helpful. Love that even if rains will have coverage even though outside shops. Good layout.

We love this small but ample outlet. Great location and a nice little park for the kids to play. What I like the most is every retail store has public washrooms! This is such a brilliant idea!

Very quiet whilst visiting, however no real surprise as nothing special there. All shops to be fair were very clean, well maintained and laid out well. However the selections of shops really isn't all that. The prices I found were on the high side and found very few discounted prices in comparison to where I usually shop. It certainly isn't worth a standalone trip.

Good assortment of stores and clean public restrooms. Great little playground for the tots! Some little coin operated rides for the kiddos too!

Lot of choices. Wasn't crowded and there were some Island specific items.

Adidas, Nike & Under Armour all in the same place gets 5 stars every time. Great prices at Adidas.

Lots of places have shut down, so there are only about 10 ships still open. Very quiet and limited, so if you're only going for one place, then you may be lucky. None of the shops really had any great deals either (perhaps a sign of the times) but considering the lack of foot traffic they appear to have you would have thought they would do everything to make it appealing. End of the day, some good shops, outlet price for most of it, would possibly stop in if passing and I wanted a specific shop, otherwise wouldn't go out of my way.

Nice quiet beach. Pets aren't allowed. Has a kayak rental facility or you can launch your own. Easy access to open water. Gorgeous sunsets.

Great Driftwood and Wonderful Birds

A wonderful quieter beach without amenities. Better than a large public beach. More private and secluded feeling.

I moved to Florida in April and this was the second beach I went to and absolutely loved. It’s quiet and pretty shallow. You can walk many yards away from the shore and it could still be only at your knees. There’s always interesting sea life here, too, and shells. The beach line is skinny with the trees to your back but I like it that way. Makes more space between you and other people so you can basically have a private beach set up if you go a little in the trees.

Shallow beach perfect for small kiddos! Super close parking(if you get there early) $2 per hour parking, no bathrooms that i could see but its still nice if you’d like to spend a quick moment at the beach.

Not crowded at all, granted I did go on a Monday, as to avoid crowds of people. Very shallow, it does have a low tide/high tide. Beach was very clean. Waterless bathroom, kind of a porta-potty situation, there's no showers. The walk to the bathroom is a pretty long walk, other than that it was a nice beach.

Love it here, no Resorts, hotels, bars and restaurants. Just a beach..

A very good beach for small kids and a good choice for parents to enjoy a relaxing time. Shallow, calm and beautiful.

Very relaxing... alittle smelly due to the brackish water but a nice place. Be prepared to pay now for something that does not get serviced. There are no bathrooms, one garbage can one recycling can. Dogs are not allowed.

I don’t know what this beach looked like before the hurricane, but it was not swimmable when we were there. The water was murky and there was large debris visible in the beach and water. It is just fine for sunbathing. The trees behind the beach show lots of damage. Plenty of free parking along the road.

Happy to see Bunche open again! The mangroves and trees are damaged due to hurricane Ian but the sand and the water seem back to normal again! Amazing beach to watch the sun set over the Sanibel bridge!

Such a great seminar primitive beach. Hope they get they sign explaining the historical significance of the beach put back up. It disappeared during Ian.

Nice beach, great for fishing and collecting shells, and building sand castles! There is still some natural debris from the last hurricane, but they have cleared it out wonderfully. Be aware when bringing young children, that the bathrooms are down by the kayak rentals which seems to be about a quarter mile down the road.

The beach is still very torn up from the hurricane. In addition there was a red tide when we went, so thousands of dead rotting fish were on shore. Check for a red tide before you go. It's a good spot to watch the sunset. Free parking.

Great place for kids and adults! The virtual reality "ride" inside was one of my favorites. The restaurant and staff were great. Everyone is so friendly and helpful if you had any questions. Had the large, macho nachos and the spinach dip. Delicious! Did the rides and go karts outside. Well worth the trip! Will be back for the bowling!

FastTrax was somewhat of a let down for my son’s birthday today. He was really excited about the go karts, and unfortunately they were not as awesome as the reviews we’d read had mentioned. We purchased the Storm Family Race, so these were the typical karts we read reviews on, not the junior karts. It took FOREVER to get everyone loaded, and although we followed directions and arrived over 10 minutes early, we were waiting on some rude people who showed up right at the time they were scheduled to start the race (which by the way was 2:36pm - totally random). So once released, I started timing my family to see if the entire start to finish would last the entire 12 minutes we purchased. Not. Even. Close. At just over 8 minutes, they were done. The icing on the cake was that everyone’s karts kept slowing down. They were controlling the drivers, which is absolutely ridiculous. FastTrax only earned that second star I generously gave them because at the end of our visit, my sweet, gracious son told me he had a great time. But from this mom’s point of view, his day could have been SO much better off we had gone somewhere else.

Stopped in yesterday for our first time ever and boy was this place awesome! The place is very clean and well maintained. The pricing on everything was very fair, the drinks were a bit pricey but everything else was good. The food was extremely good, I had the Philly cheese steak and my son had the chicken tenders. The Philly was one of the best I have had in a long time and the chicken tenders were whole chicken breast and cooked to perfection. The rides were great for kids and even some for adults. The rides were priced very fair but the next time we go we will probably just buy the unlimited ride pass. The game room has an array of good games, and if you like redemption games you will be in hog heaven:) The go cart track is also a great setup. They have a younger kid and adult track which was awesome. I have a 10 year old that has been an inch to short for the last year that got to ride for the first time and he absolutely loved it. The carts are pretty fast too! The staff were all very friendly and responsive in every station around the entire place. The parking lot is easy to navigate and the bathrooms are well kept here. All in all if you are in the area this is a great place to check out!

We always visit here when we are in town. If you have smaller kids, it's a great price for what you get. Sometimes you have to wait for someone to come to a ride to operate it, but it's never long. The staff is friendly with kids, the arcade is great and they have a really good variety of food as well. The go karts are pretty fun for all ages too!

We had an enjoyable afternoon with our daughter. She played for a solid 3 hours on rides and in the arcade. The ride attendants were polite and helpful, except for one, who was distracted by his friends talking to him while he was operating a ride that my daughter was on. I asked him to pay attention to the controls that he was blindly operating and he returned his focus to the machinery. Mostly a place for very young kids, good way to burn half a day. Try to go when it's not too hot, there isn't a ton of shade.

Nice staff and decent rides for younger kids. Hours didn’t care for to much. Some days they were open from 4-9pm. I would prefer to have ride and play(arcade) packages. My kids got bored riding the same bunch of rides and wanted to go insides and play games. And they were to young to do the go cart and bumper boats.

Good place to take the kids. Go Cars are overpriced is 11:99 for a few minutes for a ride that's why the 4 stars. Machines inside are good and workers are so nice and helpful.

This place is great, I think it's best for kids around 4-16, but you can really capitalize on the place for kids of 4-8. They have a small place with lots of ride little kids will enjoy. My 4 and 6 year old loved racing their own go-karts, yup my 4 year old got to drive his own kart. .there was a learning curve, but it all worked out and he has a blast. Over all best 50 dollars I spent this whole vacation.

This place is amazing! It's reasonably priced, all the arcade games are new and half of them are the biggest I've ever seen! The food was really good and affordable. I had a few requests while there and customer service took care of me quickly and with a smile. They have a full bar ...and I mean BAR! All four of us had a BLAST! We are Florida residents and are going to buy the annual pass wrist band next time we visit

Had a truly fantastic experience here seeing "A Comedy of Tenors" in their main stage Arcade theater. My friend and I flew all the way down from Philly to see Bradley Dean in this show, and it was 100% worth it! We had lovely interactions with several staff and volunteers. It's also in a great location right there in downtown Ft. Myers, surrounded by plenty of cute shops and restaurants, all within walking distance.

Great Performance of Hank Williams Story. Not a bad sear in the house. Very attentive staff. Parking was free.

We just saw the Show Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. What a fabulous show. I will compare it with Million Dollar Quartet. It was the preview show so can’t imagine it getting better each performance. The entire cast was so professional and couldn't have been better. I have been to this theater several times and i must say this was the best. Thanks also to all the staff of the theater. Great job.

We had a wonderful time at The opening of RipCord...very well written and acted..Lots of laughs. We will make this a regular visit every year and have already purchased Ring of Fire.

I love seeing shows at Florida Rep! The main theatre has so much character. All the seats are great. The staff is always so friendly. And whether you're seeing a main show or an education show, it's such a high quality show! And the education department has so many ways for kids to get involved from backstage to acting on stage.

Saw a musical about Hank Williams. The cast was amazing. Not only could they act but they could sing and play instruments and sound just like Hill Billy music. This was a matinee which is great for senior citizens.

Being new to Fort Myers, I was not aware that there was a repertory theater here. My sister invited me to the Hank Williams show and we had a great time. A smaller more intimate theater with great acoustics.

Our 7 year old won tickets and a back stage tour through Festival of Trees to see the Buddy Holly show. It was one for the memory books! The talent was just as strong as some Broadway shows we’ve seen, the theatre was itself was great and the manager and his wife made it over the top! Our daughter was treated like royalty and still to this day, almost a year later, she talks about her experience with pride and dreams. Our entire family loves theatre and this performance had us all mesmerized. They know how to pick them, make them and find the talent for them! But besides that, this theatre sold me with their heart. Our experience was just spectacular and we highly recommend it for families. Talk the kids to theatre, they will love it! Ours are begging for more. Way to go Florida Rep, way to go!

Into the Breeches was excellent. The way the characters developed was amazing. The actors were superb. Plus it was good to be there for our first live play for several years. FL Rep plays never disappoint.

Excellent experience for four of us on a Saturday evening performance of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story!! Extremely talented cast for a really FUN show!! Great sound, lighting and set designs. Comfortable seats. Accessible. Nice, friendly, and attentive staff. Easy parking right across the street. We love this intimate theater in the heart of Downtown Fort Myers. April 2022 Excellent production and performances for Ring Of Fire, The Music of Johnny Cash!! Extremely talented cast. The location is accessible in most areas, but one must be able to transfer to a theater seat. It is a beautiful, historic building. Friendly staff and volunteers. We love this theater. April 2023

Excellent production of August Wilson's Fences in a classic old Fort Myers structure. Go for a meal at Firestone, before the play walk the streets and view the welded sheet metal sculptures of local characters in characteristic poses, or shop for the eclectic fashions across from the box office.

Hank Williams show was amazing. Standing ovation well deserved. Also saw Ring of Fire, so entertaining!!!

IMO, the audio is a little overmodulated in the cheap seats, especially during more than one singing or loud talking. Performance was excellent along with the venue. Just a slight criticism of the audio.

BB Mann is a great venue for our local arts lovers to take in touring Broadway productions, concerts, and more. I subscribed to their Broadway Series for years as my daughter was growing up, and we had many fantastic shows shared during their Sunday matinees!

My friend & I went to see Warren Haynes and his band Govt Mule at B.B. Mann Performing Arts Hall last Friday night and they absolutely burned the house down!! Voted the 24th Greatest guitarist in history by Rolling Stones magazine a few years ago Warren has fronted for The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead & Co., and performed with the likes of Eric Clapton, Peter Framton, The Black Crowes and many more world class guitarists throughout the world. It was a special treat to view him perform in such an intimate smaller venue like BB Mann.

This facility is great. My husband and I were there, recently, for a concert. As usual, the great service starts at the entrance where handbags are searched. Security staff was very friendly, even jovial! As we entered the hall, we were warmly greeted. We even received suggestions on snacks! While waiting in line for our beverages, one of the staff informed us that there was a second line that no one seemed to be aware of. I went to the head of the line, received our beverages, and headed to our seats super fast. As we entered the auditorium, again, the staff was very attentive and took us directly to our seats. Once the event was over, we exited the building and were told goodbye by several members of the staff and security. The staff directing traffic were even on top of their "game." From the time we started the car to the time we went through the traffic light, it was less than 2 minutes. That has never happened before. As you can tell, this was the best experience we have ever had at Barbara B. mann performing Arts Hall. Keep up the great service. Thank you BBMPAH!

Great show, we saw Hamilton. Very clean theater. We sat in the row VV which was almost as far back on the lower level as you can sit, but great view and sound. The only issue was that an usher sat behind us and was singing along OUT LOUD, and when there was something "political" said, she shouted out.." You got that right!". While I appreciate she loved the show, I didn't appreciate her singing over the cast and shouting out. Other than that 5⭐️and we would go back.

Lovely, intimate theatre. Not sure there's a bad view in there. Only complaint would be the seat sizes and leg room. Not much of it if you're of taller or plus size stature. Feels very airplane-ish.

Two reviews for the price of one! The BB Mann PAH is always great. Wonderful acoustics, great view of the stage from just about anywhere. My one small issue is that the drinks are a little pricy. But the parking is free, so that helps toboffset the drink prices. Yeah, I'm talking to you, Hertz Arena! As for Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, they were just tremendous. Hope they return to Ft. Myers soon!

Neat little theater, looks like good shows often are here. Tons of free parking on campus. A little congested after shows. Pretty large upper balcony section all with good view of stage. Staff and crew were friendly and lots of them. Beer and mixed drinks along with sodas and water, soft pretzels, etc. Typical theater pricing. Would go again. Normal seating, tight but thats to be expected.

First time to this place to see the Fab Four. The concert was good but this venue is a dump! I'm disabled and there are too few disabled parking spaces so even arriving 45 min early there were NO spaces left. The place wreaked because there was no air moving with 1,800 people in attendance! The only place air was moving was in the lobby. The men's restroom had only three urinals and three stalls for hundreds of men so the line was 50 deep! I have Crohns Disease and THANKFULLY I wasn't desperate for a stall that night! When leaving, it was very difficult to find our way out of the parking lot because there is no directional signage. On top of all that, the attendants were rude and the prices at the concessions were ridiculous!

People were talented in this Cirque but not like I knew Cirque Du Soleil This was like a free cruise ship show. The costumes weren’t good the acts were repetitive. I would not recommend this show. Barbara Mann also Doesn’t tell you that the bathrooms are under construction they are! Really far to go to bathrooms ! A bottle of water is $6 and this awful Show was $100 ! Waste of Time and money !

Awesome Venue located on the Campus of Florida Southwestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida. Absolutely beautiful layout, with multiple levels and semi-private boxes. Great Stage and Sound System, really no bad seats. Ladies need to be aware they absolutely limit the size and dimensions of your Purse / Pocket Book, so best to go small, or be forced to bring it back to your car. ( Don't argue with Security over this issue, or you might be prevented from entering. ) Inside, you can purchase drinks and alcoholic beverages and limited snacks. They offer plenty of free parking, but getting out after the show might take you 20-30 minutes. I suggest you park in the back of the Venue since they make everyone go out that way onto Cypress Lake, you will be in better position to get out much quicker. We have attended numerous events there and have always been impressed with the venue and staff. Highly recommended!!!

Great place to see a concert. Park around back side by VIP lot and get in and out easily. Great sound, comfortable seats.

Love this theater. Ushers are always so helpful and polite. The theater is beautiful and we've seen Post Modern Juke Box, My Fair Lady, Nick Offerman, Tig Notaro, Jagged Little.Pill, Hamilton and so much more. Lolly lolly lolly get your culture here.

Parking is easy in the plentiful. Getting into the building. Not a problem. My freshman stands are accessible. This is my first time here and we had seats in the mezzanine area for to kill a mockingbird. The sound was awful. I ended up getting out of my seat and going to the very top of the mezzanine area for the sound was a little bit better, but still not great. It was opening night so maybe they adjusted it for subsequent performances.

Nice venue, not too big or too small. Pretty good flow getting in & out of building & the parking lot. Jagged Little Pill was a great show. I wasn't sure if it was going to be heavy due to the subject matter, but it had humor woven through it & of course, the great songs!

Nice size theatre. Older with very steep steps in the upper balcony. People of limited mobility should avoid that area. Parking is ample. The acoustics are not as good as other theatres we’ve used for Broadway productions. Small bags only, and my empty water bottle was not permitted. Check the website, do not rely upon the knowledge of the security staff as I was given misinformation about water bottles. Indoor staff and box office peeps are great.

We went there to see Hamilton. It was an amazing show and I love the theater. It was very crowded though and hard to go to the bathroom during intermission. All in all, it’s on the water and it’s really fun to be there. Beautiful location and theater.

The theater has always been really nice. It's a smaller, more intimate space and is excellent for music or drama. I was there recently to see Richard Thomas in To Kill a Mockingbird, which was fantastic. I've been there for musical performances from Peter,Paul, and Mary to Art Garfunkel to Arlo Guthrie and more. It's an excellent small venue theater.

Went to see Hamilton. We were in the balcony and could easily see and hear everything. Seats are a bit tight if you are tall.

We saw Tina and it was Broadway worthy. The theater itself isn’t terribly comfortable. The seats are narrow and it’s very steep. There’s no bathroom on the third floor and the women’s was closed on the first floor. They started the second act before the bathrooms were cleared which was rude. The staff was pleasant, drinks were good, lobby is beautiful.

Saw a show there.I would suggest getting there at least 45 minutes to an hour early to avoid parking congestion. My wife did not bring a purse because it has to be the size of a postage stamp and clear and she wasn’t dealing with that. Chairs are hard plastic but were not as bad as the torturous ones they have on the floor at Hertz Arena. Sound was good, AC was fine and we enjoyed the show. Even got to watch two couples drop obscenities over who was sitting in the wrong seat. We came for the show and it was fun . Always good to relax on a Sunday night.

This was a great experience for the whole family. We picked it on a whim because we were already in town and the attraction we had targeted was closed. This turned out to be very fortunate for us because we found a gem here. The staff was all knowledgeable and eager to share. The attractions we're all well labeled and the mix of animals was wonderful. We spent roughly 4 hours with 3 children and they all had different favorites because of the diverse options. Overall I would highly recommend this for anyone with kids 4+. Reasonably priced way to trucks those kids into learning a little bit.

Fun place to take kids for a couple hours. The nature center museum part is small and dated… both the building and the exhibits. The outdoor exhibits are nice. The shining star and strength of this place is the planetarium where shows are included with the ticket. Our show guide was very knowledgeable about the stars and clearly passionate about it. The facility is better kept than the main buildings. Memberships are very reasonable and include worthwhile benefits. Worth a visit.

Very cool place! Definitely great for kids, but had fun as adults as well. On Saturday the schedule offers a Planetarium movie, followed by a live animal show, with another Planetarium movie that follows shortly afterwards. This was perfect for us, it allowed us to walk the grounds (not the trails) and see the butterfly garden and aviary as well. Touching the animals was my highlight, Spark Plug the snake was softer than expected!!

This place is amazing! Non profit... Surrounded by nature, just off the beaten path... Came for the PINK FLOYD LAZER SHOW...and IT ROCKED! The Wall.... Crystal clear sounds Deep bass Bright vivid colors Absolutely amazing !!! I'm coming back to volunteer !!

We recently visited Calusa Nature Center on a weekend afternoon. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to check out the Planetarium but the nature center was great. The lady at the front desk was very nice and, with there being no one else in the center at the moment, gave us a quick tour of the animals they care for. The weather turned before we could explore much outside but it gives us a reason to visit again. If you're in the area and looking for something to do, especially if you have young children, Calusa Nature Center is a great place to check out. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The awe of the cosmos, at an incredibly low price for the whole thing, $10 adult for museum-plus-planetarium all day. Discounts: seniors, military, Groupon, kids under 12. Pay at the museum. Large dome, seats 90, great surround sound and pretty new projector (2020, but didn't get used much the first year for obvious reasons), plus knowledgeable presenters. That low price is great because it brings the wonders of space and other full-surround experiences to everyone who lives here, however they can't afford new carpets or seating without a major fundraiser or angel donor who decides to show up. For an underfunded 501.c.3, this place is pretty wonderful. And they have a piece of Mars (mars-origin meteorite) you can touch! Two different shows on odd days and two more different shows on even days, so if you have sunburn or it rains for two days you can see all different shows. One special premiere night monthly (3rd Wednesday), and an astronomy club night on the first Thursday. Laser light shows every 3 months at this time. Speaker series also held here, 1st Wednesdays iirc. Benches in lobby in case you have to wait, but usually not a lot of waiting!

We have been here several times and it's always a blast. The animals are well cared for and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We did the haunted trail this year and they all did such a great job-- the kiddos got a good scare!

Amazing and fun place to bring the family. My two boys got to pet a snake and alligator and had a blast exploring everthying they offer. Staff was awesome and very welcoming, Max went over an above and made our visit that much more special. Thanks again.

Went to see Mesmerica at the planetarium. While the show was interesting and impressive, the seating made it not the experience I was hoping for. The seats are too close together and do not lean back so by the end of the show I really had a neckache. Also I am only 5/6 and my knees were up against the seat in front of me. Would have been much more enjoyable if I could have gotten comfortable. Fascinating show though.

Large nature area with plenty of activities - from walking through the trails to yoga to a holiday light show (beginning December 9th), to a small aviary center and to a beautiful planetarium…it’s a great place for adults and kids alike. No pets allowed. No bikes. Free parking. Pay for entrance to planetarium and activities.

Learned so much! The planetarium was a great way to spend the afternoon. One of five places in the US that you can touch a rock from Mars. Other highlights include a meteorite display and the planetarium shows. Be sure to ask questions. Dr. Preston is a wealth of information.

They are in the middle of getting new seating which is amazing in the summer! It was awesome with the James Hood experience; with all the geometric shapes, lights, relaxing gamma waves type of experience!

Well worth bringing the family to, lots of lights, pretty cool thing they’ve got going on here.

I love this place. It's like another world from what is outside with the traffic and chain stores. Lots of trails, a museum, live animals, planetarium, gift shop, picnic tables. Nice, helpful staff. Varied programming (they have a play on now) and even occasional road trips. Not just for kids! Ten dollar entry and thirty-five dollar individual membership.

Fun place to spend the afternoon, and a good place for kids ages 4-12 or so. The museum is underwhelming, but the butterfly enclosure is cool, and you can get up close and personal with some very large birds. The planetarium is awesome -- I touched a piece of Mars!
