Just so beautiful and inspirational. Amazingly detailed both up and downstairs. Incredibly knowledgeable staff of prior and current service. It’s like walking through 3D, live-motion Naval history research. So unbelievably modernized for a museum. No wait whatsoever. Not crowded. Free. Sharp images on screens, clean both in and outside (including restrooms), and just overall an amazing experience.

Fantastic place to visit. The museum is awesome. Be prepared to spend several hours here. So much to see. We just so happened to be at the museum at the right time. The Blue Angels had practice while we were there. It was awesome seeing them fly. Loved the whole experience.

Pretty nice. It was a fun place for my friends & I. Lots of naval planes to see. Very clean & Very organized. We went to the Café and got food and it was pretty good. Also no wait at all! Just be mindful that the prices in the gift shop are a little high. But, admission is free anyways so it’s not that bad. Overall it’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, I really enjoyed it and I hope you do too.

This was a wonderful museum to attend. You do have to go through the initial base gates but it is my understanding this is allowed for everyone (I went with some one with a retired military ID so did not test this). We spent over 2 hours at this museum and did not cover everything. There is a lot of history to see and read, not just the air craft. They also have a historical movie to see. There are people on hand if you gave questions and of course a gift shop. Keep in mind if you go there are 2 buildings at the time of this review. Hanger 1 is found exiting the back part of the initial museum.

This place is fantastic. We love the old planes and we watched the blue angels earlier here. Your kids would love coming here. They have all kinds of interesting information and they have old reels that you can watch. You have to go to this museum. Free to get in also

I’ve gone here twice since moving here and still haven’t seen all there is to see. We bring family here every time they come to visit! There’s a diner inside, as well as some flight simulations. The front desk and guides are all very helpful and knowledgeable. My kids love coming here!

Yes a definite WOW! We are a military family and looked forward to our visit and it went way above and beyond our expectations. Be prepared to spend the day! The kids loved loved loved it! The cafe is available, the movie theater, and also the gift store. The store had a great variety of items - shirts, hats, toys, gift items, and novelty items. The displays were amazing. Do note some features have a cost but the entry was free with a donation option at the Blue Angels. We watched the “Blue Angels” and then then the pilots came for an Autograph session at the Museum. It was a fabulous day. We will definitely be back.

Amazing! I had no idea what to expect but this is a must see. It's free to get in and there a ton of planes to see with hands on stuff for the kids and great historical information all over. I could easily spend all day here reading information and seeing the planes. There is a simulator that my kids did. That cost money but great experience. 5 stars! Thanks for the experience.

My son had the Best Birthday Party ever! He loves the Blue Angels and His favorite movie Top Gun. So we decided to get a Blue Angel Uniform and some extra supplies. Our orders arrived after a few days and it was just perfect! We also received an extra item. Thank you so much guys. We will be taking our kid to the Museum next year ❤️

What a great experience. The museum was very informative and interesting. The displays were awesome and maintained very well. It took a couple of hours at least to really get through most of the displays and watch videos. As an adult I really enjoyed myself.

My husband and I have been here on vacation for the past week now and let me tell you, this place was our favorite thing of the whole trip!! We absolutely loved the Naval Aviation Museum!! It was so neat seeing all the different planes from WW1 to present. Our tour guide, David I believe was his name, did a fabulous job! He absolutely new his stuff and I just enjoyed hearing him speak about everything in the museum! Also getting to see the blue angels fly was absolutely spectacular!! Everything about this place made me appreciate those who serve our country that much more!

This place is great I’ve been going here for years and will visit again in the future. Covid making it harder to get it, but if you get to know a few locals this normally isn’t an issue. The museum is great and how many times over the years I’ve ran into someone volunteering and it turning into a 15 minute conversation about one of the displays telling a story from their life. I’ve meet nothing, but the best here. The shows always bring a crowd and it’s worth it, but also it’s definitely worth stopping on an off day to get the true experience of this wonderful place.

Wow!!! We came on the day it was open to the public this past weekend and WOW! What a gem! We spent the entire day there (with 3 young kids) and could have stayed longer. The leveled scavenger hunts for the kids were a super nice touch and impressed this teacher! Please consider opening back up to the public more often. We loved it!!

You gotta make 4 days available to see everything. Super interactive displays, friendly helpful staff and more to see and do for beyond the eyes can see. Full size airplanes on display. Many huge models of Navel ships. Wow, gotta put this place on your bucket list. Also, part of the home to the Blue Angles. Meet and greet on the tarmac behind the museum on live practice days. Most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Check their schedule for training days to be sure. Oh best part. Parking and admission to the museum is FREE. You will have to enter NAS Pensacola so be sure to have your ID. Check the website.

I visited this place as a child over 30 years ago and wow, has come a long way. I expected my children to be bored, but they have done quite well with making sure there are plenty of interactive attractions to go along with the viewing of life sized peices historical Naval aviation. Admission is free, though there are "tip containers" scattered across the museum. They have a couple different simulators and they also have movies that all cost money. I feel they are reasonably priced since admission is free. There is restaurant and a snack bar. A little high priced for the quality in my opinion but it serves the purpose of giving you food for as much time as you could potentially spend here. We spent about 3 hours here and we didn't watch any of the movies that you can buy tickets to. If you are someone who is really passionate about this kind of thing and want to experience all of it, get here when the doors open and plan to spend 4-5 hours. And that is on a less busy day. The exhibits are top notch. They have full sized jets and planes plus very detailed replicas of different aircraft carriers. The WWII exhibit has it's own section and is an absolute must see if you love this part of US history. Worth a trip to Pensacola just for this, in my opinion. Overall, great museum and recommend every one check it out if in the area.

This is an amazing museum! There are many wonderful displays ranging from WW1 to the present day. Parking and entrance are both free. It is a must see while in Pensacola!

We had a great time visiting this place!! It has grown over the years to include way more exhibits of planes, carriers, NASA, etc. It's so interesting to see the history of the military. There are flying simulators you can pay to do as well, a movie you can watch, etc. There is a little Cafe to get drinks and snacks and a nice gift shop! It's a terrific place to take kids!!

My kids are 7, 8, 9 & 3. They had an absolute BLAST getting hands on with so many planes! Taking them to this museum was one of the best Saturdays we've had in a really long time! I'm so glad it's Open to the Public Now!!! I hadn't been since I was a kid and I forgot how much fun it was!

This is one of the most interesting museums I have been to. We only had half a day so need to go back. It is so well done with all the planes and the aircraft carriers and the displays. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

This is a great museum. Get there early to see everything. Well maintained aircrafts and able to get up close. They have excellent tour guides too. This place is a win/win.

This is by far the best military aviation museum I've visited over the years! The displays are very well laid out, and the aircraft are real ones that have been in action in the fleet. It has very impressive galleries as well that provides the historical context of the various stages of development of naval aviation from the beginning of flight until the present day. Best of all, it's free.

What an amazing museum. So many aircraft to look at. Wonderful stories to learn. Really enjoyed the life size dioramas that truly set the tone and make you feel like you have stepped back in time. A must see! The Blue Angels have weekly training sessions that something you shouldn’t miss.

Steve Judd gave our tour. He did an amazing job. It lasted about two hours. He was super interactive with the crowd. He asked about retired military in the crowd and any current pilots. I loved all the information he gave. I really enjoyed that he wore a microphone and little speaker. It made it so much easier to hear him. Anyone interested in the Navy, Blue Angels, and USA history would really enjoy this museum. I think we could spend two days reading everything, watching every movie, doing every interactive simulator. We will definitely be back again. Admission is free. Some things like the movie and simulators cost. They have a neat little cafe too.

Great experience. You should plan for an entire day to get the best out of your trip. There are so many different things to see that are worth your time. Most of the exhibits are exposed for you to touch and take pictures. They also have a restaurant that is good for the family to get a bite and continue your tour. Admission is FREE. Parking is FREE. Wow! What a hidden gem - and it is FREE (although the movie and simulators are at a cost). So much fun and so much packed into a small foot print! Coming from a Navy family, where my dad worked in the planes, in a blimp and more, it was especially touching for me. My husband and I both loved it, and so did our 4 year old grandson - so definitely fun for all ages.

Wow! This was a spur of the moment visit while in the area, but there a ton to see! The guide said it takes 2 days to see it all, I only got to see a bit of what there is to offer in an afternoon. Very expansive and cool exhibits with friendly staff. On a side note if there’s a Blue Angles practice going on, get there absolutely as early as possible. They were at capacity in the morning, so couldn’t get in and traffic gets beyond ridiculous!

What a jewel to find. It's right across the Pensacola lighthouse. We got there about 30 minutes to closing.. lol.. so we did a very quick tour. We met one of the guys who works there, and he gave us a quick overview of the place. My dad, who's a WWII veteran, would have definitely marveled at this place. I definitely recommend getting there in time to enjoy the whole experience.

We visit as many military museums as possible when we travel. The National Naval Aviation Museum exceeded our expectations! Free admission. Expect to spend at least 2 hours! There are stairs, but also an elevator for those who need the extra help. Hands-on activities for children and short videos to help experience and understand the history of the time period. For those in Pensacola this is a MUST SEE!

Enjoyed the visit with my girls (2 daughters and niece). Happened to get lucky and witness a flight school graduation, which was pretty awesome and unexpected. These officers were representing true American spirit, and from what I can remember, not a single one was from the same hometown, a true melting pot of America in this group. The museum itself has a unique bond between future and history this way by having Graduation ceremony surrounded by all the history while presenting the future of Naval aviation. I sincerely hope the families understand the importance of everything surrounding them and that they were able to take the time and enjoy the time, take some memories home of not only the present but of immersing themselves into the past.

Really enjoyable family oriented. So much history of the navy and our country. Lots of planes helicopters bombs. Old stores the pilots would go and the prices of the food and candy. Old houses they lived in. I highly recommend going here if you’re in the pensacola area. Big museum. Several activities.

Accessible on the Navy Base once you clear security. If you are a fan of Lighthouses this is worth your time. Plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. There is an admission charge but it was well worth it. Self guided tour with lots to see. Some nice historical items. And then there's the Lighthouse itself. 177 steps will get you to the top and it's well worth it, not only to see the light which is on 24-7 but the views are super. There is also a nice gift shop and you can purchase a Brick, which we did, or one of the 177 Steps. In the area give it a visit and say hello to Alexandria in the gift shop, Great Gal *Also the Navy Air Museum and Fort are near the Lighthouse.

Absolutely loved the visit. So neat to climb all 177 steps to the top, even though my legs felt like rubber afterwards 🤣. The history behind the lighthouse keeper and their wives and children was cool to see. Definitely recommend the tour. I want to go back for the night time haunted tours on my next visit.

There are 166 steps up to one of the BEST views in Pensacola! Not for the weak of heart or legs, and you must be at least 44" tall. The museum is equally engaging, with facts and artifacts that leave you amazed. You could spend 2+ hours in exploration or zip up to the top of the lighthouse and back again, as we did. The entrance station is a nifty gift shop as well.

We love this historic lighthouse. It's a real treasure. Bring the whole family. Ticket are around $15 for 12 and up. Be prepared to walk up 180 steps to the top. What a view!

The 177 climb was so work it because the view is breathtaking.The museum is a great place to go after to get cool air. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They give you a safety brief before you go up! The gift shop is also really cool. Around they also have little helpers for kids to get more engaged. Entry for military was $6 per person and there was barely any wait. You can also see the Naval Museum from the top!!

Wear shoes with a back, or you'll be going up and down barefoot! Only enter at West gate. Beautiful view and great pics. 177 steps is a good little hike!

Nice little museum at the base of the lighthouse which was very informative. The climb to the top of the lighthouse was warm and humid (late July) but well worth it if you are willing and able! You will be asked to take your shoes off for the climb up and down if they don't have a closed backs (crocs with a strap were fine).

Such a fun thing to make yourself get out of the house. The climb was a little hot and tiring but if you bring water and wear proper shoes the climb isn't terrible. When we went it was very windy so it was a bit scary at the top but it was really fun.

Family recommended the Light House if you have a disability, I don’t recommend it. There is 177 stairs and yes your legs will feel like Jell-O. It’s worth it if you’re healthy enough to go up the steps there’s a lot of history in the museum you can see old rooms. I looks like it’s well-maintained. I did donate money and I recommend you also donate.

It is a nice historical and functional lighthouse, there is also the museum which has a lot of information about the history of the site and the armed forces. The staff are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions. There is also a beach right across the, perfect to relax after visiting the lighthouse.

We visited on a rainy-windy December day. The guide at the top of the lighthouse was very knowledgeable. We arrived as the light just came on. Beautiful prism. Beautiful view from the top. 177 steps to the top with sturdy handrail. The museum was decorated for Christmas throughout which was fun.

You can only get here if you are in the military or on a tour bus! I took the took bus, and it was a great experience! Book ahead of time! Super friendly driver! Worth the visit! Highly recommend! Walk down to the beach area too! Beautiful views and it’s a quiet walk! On the lighthouse, it is 177 steps but there is several areas to stop and take a break, only one hand rail on one side! Still worth it! The view at the top is amazing!

Absolutely beautiful place to take a trip to! The lighthouse grounds has lots of fun and interesting things to see and learn about. The actual lighthouse stairs are a good exercise (roughly 200 stairs), but once you reach the top you will have wonderful views of the bay and you might even be able to see the Blue Angels practice if you go early enough.

Our Pensacola Lighthouse adventure was nothing short of awe-inspiring! Climbing 177 steps to the top revealed a panoramic view of the Gulf Coast that was well worth the $6.50 fee. The grounds were immaculate, and the historic charm of the lighthouse was preserved flawlessly. We had the pleasure of meeting Diane, a dedicated volunteer from the lighthouse society, who generously shared her wealth of knowledge about the area. The recently replaced LED bulb, casting its beam up to 8 miles, is a modern marvel and made for a fascinating detail. From the top, Diane pointed out Fort Pickens on a nearby island, a National Monument managed by the National Parks Service. The proximity to our campground made the visit even more convenient. The Light keepers house, adorned with interesting displays, and the well-curated gift shop added layers to the historical experience. Diane's insights didn't end with the lighthouse; she recommended some fantastic local eateries and must-visit spots, including the Flora-Bama for a taste of fresh seafood. Our next stop is the National Naval Aviation Museum, and we're excited to share the military history we'll uncover, thanks to insights from a seasoned veteran volunteer. I really enjoyed my visit to the Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum during my hike today! The staff volunteers are amazing and very informative about the Lighthouse history. I highly recommend taking a peek inside the Keepers Quarters next door to the Lighthouse. Enjoy your visit!

Really neat and the view from the top is so pretty. Just make sure you are wearing closed toe shoes, not sandles or flip flops. The 177 fancy cast iron steps to the top and then back down are rough in bare feet! Doable as I've now done it twice but I'd recommend shoes. Last ticket to climb to the top is sold 20 minutes before closing so plan to get there with time to spare.

The stairs are beastly to climb, and sort of scary, but you MUST try it! The view is unforgettable… such a cool piece of history! Kids have to be a certain height, and you cannot carry them on the stairs for safety reasons. You also need shoes with backs on them, no flip flops, etc… also for safety reasons. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and helpful.

It was a great experience. The stairs are definitely different than the other lighthouses I've visited that they are winding and only have hand rails on the inside of the stairs. There's no place to stop on the way up or down, and because there's no hand rails on the outside, it's kind of tricky when there's people coming up and down at the same time. We made it all the way up and down with no problem.

The only way to access the lighthouse is by entering the naval base. Be prepared to show ID, answer questions, and possibly roll windows down or have your car searched. They are also strict on parking hours, so plan accordingly. The lighthouse itself was in good condition and an easy climb. It was a bit challenging to move to the center as others climbed down the lighthouse since there was no center railing, and the stairs were narrow. We ascended into the clouds, though I suspect the view from the top would be nice on a clear day. The museum had nice displays and exhibits. There was a short trail behind the lighthouse with access to the beach, though swimming isn't allowed.

Very cool. Must be in relatively good shape to climb the 177 steps to the top. The steps are 9", not 6" that are modern steps. But sights from top are breath taking.

Great staff. Even though it is a small place, the history behind is very interesting. Everything is explain in the posters. Also whn you climb the stairs of the light house, the staff is very concerned about your safety and safety of others. One thing marked out of my bucket list

The museum is quick but cool and informative, there's plenty of good views and public beaches within a couple miles of the base and tons of great food places too.

Didn’t plan on visiting, but noticed this on the way to the aviation museum and decided to stop. Very cool historical building with an amazing view! However, the climb up is no joke. More people coming and going than I cared for and it’s legitimately a dangerous climb to the top, it’s not for everyone. Definitely recommend if you’re not afraid of heights, but do wish they would limit the number of people up at a time. There were around 20 people at the top when I was there and that’s way too many for a very tight space. It’s a great stop, but better with low crowds.

Absolutely worth a visit. If you're vacationing in the area and need a rainy day activity, or you need to get the kids out of the sun, this is a great option. Can't beat the price (free). I always thought this would be a collection of dusty, musty, and rusty scattered around an old hanger. I was completely wrong. A sparkling collection in an enormous modern facility. Not just aircraft on display. Great for history buffs. As an Army veteran I hate to admit that the Navy has done a fantastic job here

Dont miss this! Free viewing of the amazing Blue Angels. Check the practice schedule and get there early to get a seat up on the bleachers for best views. Then check out the museum. A real treat for any aviation fan.

Pensacola Naval Air Station or "Pensacola" as it is known, is the home of the Blue Angles and the National Naval Aviation Museum. The museum features 150 aircraft and spacecraft plus simulators and an iMax theater. Come see the Blue Angels practice, check out the simulators, and see the exhibits. This is a great experience. There is often a practice airshow on Fridays from spring through fall that is often open to the public. Check ahead as schedules frequently change. Final note is that this is a real, working air station. This review is only about the two parts most open to the public.

Went to visit Fort Barrancas on the base what a surprise. A Bastion on the Bluffs overlooking the entrance to Pensacola Bay. Fort Barrancas stands as a monument to the legacy of America’s early homeland defense. Built with 6 million bricks, on the backs of slaves with walls 4 feet thick and 20 feet high, Fort Barrancas was completed in 1844 and remains an example of military engineering and a marvel of human ingenuity. This is a site not to be missed right now the base is open to DoD and VIHA card holders but could open again soon to the general public.

We visited the NAS Pensacola just a few weeks ago, and we truly enjoyed our visit to this northern Florida military base. Obviously, visitors generally must have a valid military identification card to get on the Naval base. Since we are a retired military family, we visit the NAS Pensacola base in Pensacola, Florida two-three times a year. All of the facilities are highly maintained and the base is always very clean.

Very polite servicemen working here at the airshow. Lots of good food lots of good direction for parking and getting out, overall very proud to be an American, and very proud of our United States Navy

Great experience bringing my husband and son here tonight! We won 3-2 with the end of the 9th being a nail biter! So much fun. If you haven't experienced a game, it's a must.

Nice waterfront and fishing extension. The gymnastics gymnasium and climbing park is a solid addition as well. Not many multi-use parks have something that round out their use. As that does in off hours like when I visited. Large enough radius to run laps evenly. A lot of good features here. Well structured civil architecture overall.

We took our niece and nephew here while visiting and had a great time. This park is very family oriented. Our seats were Great under the cover left of home plate The food was good as well as the view. The Staff also were all great. The Wahoos won! 11- 3

One of the best minor league parks in the country. Beautiful view of Pensacola bay. Almost always a nice breeze coming in off of the water. Evening games will always have the audience in the shade along the first base side. Reasonable prices on food and extremely friendly staff.

We always enjoy coming to the Maritime park. There's a fitness court by the kids park, that comes with an app and gives an amazing full body workout, that can be done in less than 1 hour. The kids park it's self is great. It's high up so when you look out you can see Pensacola Bay, which is absolutely a beautiful sight everyday. From the walkway, you can see the Naval ship "Jacklyn" and also walk around to the amphitheater. All in all its a nice place to visit if you have a family and even better than its downtown close to great restaurants and shops.

The Blue Wahoos is hands down the best park to visit! They helped my family with a stepparent adoption announcement with my husband and son and it was seriously the best experience! Donna Kirby, they are so lucky to have you!!! Amazing experience for a baseball loving family!

The stadium is 5000+ seats. It's a really nice stadium, food and beverage options are great; both the stadium points of sale and the food tents. I have been to other stadiums with a wider degree of seating/table options which I missed here, but I had a great/comfortable time in the evening summer air all the same.

Absolutely love going to games at the Blue Wahoo's. Everyone at the game makes you feel at home. The customer service is second to none and I have been to 25 stadiums. From Brandon in the front office, to Hugh who works our section and David who works the section in front of ours are always there to ask what they can do for us. Always a great time at the ballpark with this team. Great family fun nights. Great job team.

If you ever want to see a great baseball game you need to come see the Blue Wahoo's play ball. They are really good. The stadium they have is outstanding. With all the activity they have going on you can find something for you or the whole family to do. Their fireworks are outstanding. I have never saw the kind of fireworks that they did when I was there! They were so colorful, explosives, bright, and beautiful!!

What could be better on a Friday night than baseball at the beach? This park has it all-great location, upscaled ball park fare, frosty local beers, and superb minor league baseball. Nothing better.

We had a wonderful time at the Wahoos game! If you ever want to see a great baseball game you need to come see the Blue Wahoo's play ball. The stadium they have is outstanding. With all the activity they have going on you can find something for you or the whole family to do! Must do!!

Enjoyed the final regular season game. All the traditional ballpark food, snacks and drinks available as well as local varieties. Nice to watch the Wahoos close the season with a win. Fun jam-packed during the game and between innings. Nice tributes and recognition opportunities weaved in. Pleasantly surprised with a Sunday afternoon Blue Angels homecoming flyover 💙💛

Sit on row L or M down LF side for good view of the bay. Avoid fireworks nights for short concession lines. Pensacola did it right. Great stadium to watch a game.

Very nice stadium for watching minor league baseball. Easy to get to the entry gate, and small enough to not get lost. Decent, but not extensive, food selection, and those stalls are all credit only, no cash allowed. I'm not a big fan, but this is good for me a few times a year. Party deck is good for groups.

I went to a music festival at the Hollow World Music Fest. Great day of music, food, and drinks. Don't really have much to say about the stadium, but the facilities men that supported this place were amazing. They policed the are every 10 minutes, maybe, and the trash cans were constantly being emptied. The restrooms 🚻 were cleaned OFTEN, and every time I visited them, they were just cleaned. These men were quite possibly the hardest working facilities guys I have ever seen. The day was great, the food and drinks were great and the facilities were great. I'm sure any event you participate in at this venue will be pleasurable.

This quiet, sleepy fort location is packed with a a lot of history. To appreciate its history, make sure to read all the placards that tells the stories. When read, it brings to life the battles and the power of the artillery relics used in the battles.

Another fantastic historic American fort to bring the family to. It's safe and has a lot of neat places to explore. Make sure everyone who's an adult brings an ID. It's inside the Naval Base.

Amazing experience! These tour guides and Ranger were so friendly and knowledgeable! It makes you feel like you were there in history🥰

We arrived at 3:30 pm and it closed down at 4 pm so we just got a nice little taste of the Fort. The ranger was terrific. He swore in the kids as junior rangers when they finished the required activities, even as he was doing his job of shooing everyone out.

Beautifully maintained fort that you can roam for hours if you choose. The history of this area is unique and worth learning about. Highly recommend stopping here and talking with the employees. The 10 minute video was a great introduction and the fort did not disappoint. Thanks for a wonderful stop on my vacation!

Small but very well done, the National Park Service has done a bang up job making an old fort into a beautiful area to wander, enjoy the sunshine, wander the long corridors inside the fortifications, and receive a good education about how European conflicts as well as the American Civil War were part of the history of this area. Because of the beautiful open areas and underground tunnels, there's a bit for everyone, including those who like to watch jets and Navy trainer aircraft fly by. If you like history, be sure to spend time to read the various boards in the small but we'll organized visitor center.

As you might know by now, I love going to visit historic forts. This is inside the Naval Air Station. This one is an amazing fort, from its location to the role it played in history. I would say this is a must fort to visit. I would recommend you watch the 12-minute video they have available before you had out to see this historic place. Everything you will see will have a meaning, and you will then begin to imagine how things happened. What a beauty of a place. You really need to take some time when you are there. This is a place where you can't rush it. If you like these types of historic places, you will enjoy everything from the walls to the hallways to the design. I Know I am uploading pictures that might cause you to wonder why those pictures. Well, when you go there, you will say, oh I see why. I would come back here just because I think this is a cool place to visit.

Fantastic National Park location. You can explore most of this fort on your own and also get a great view of Fort Pickens across Pensacola Bay. The ranger tour is available on the weekends and is well worth it to learn the how the fort was constructed and its history. Highly recommend the Advanced Readout tour if you are more adventurous. This second site (not far from the visitor center) is only accessible with the ranger tour and takes you through the abandoned structure complete with dark passageways and potential encounters with bats, snakes and other local fauna. Not suitable for young children. The fort is located on the Naval Air Station, so you will need to pass through a checkpoint and show ID to get to the fort. There is limited RV parking at the visitor center, so you may want to call ahead and ensure that there is space to park if you are driving a larger rig. The Junior Ranger program for this site is part of the larger Gulf Islands National Seashore booklet, but there are a couple of activities based on exploring the fort or walking on the .5 mile woodland nature trail near the visitor center.

48 miles long and it’s beautifull !

Although it was a dreary day with intermittent rain my kids were begging to go for a visit with all the new activities provided. The staff was amazing. They helped us get the kids on the rides they wanted to experience and did it with wonderful customer service and smiles. I thanked the employees letting them know I appreciated them all and they were saints braving the weather for us and each one of them responded if y'all are happy and having a good time it's worth it! We will definitely be back and appreciate all that made our Saturday a fabulous time!

The kids really had fun. Just enough rides to not get bored. The only con is that they need better light at night. The areas far from the building were dark and gloomy. LeD lights would be perfect! Other than that, no complaints. The food was too expensive for my 6 kids. We didn't do the arcade bc I couldn't get them off the go karts lol.

Had such a blast with family here!!! They have go karting, mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games. Go karting was definitely our favorite and the weather was so nice when we visited. They have a really cool pirate theme going on with neat displays. They also have carnival-type rides that are great for little kids! I highly recommend visiting with friends or family, it wasn't packed and the employees were friendly. We will definitely be visiting again in the future, thank you to the staff for making it a fun family night for us!

All day wristbands are totally worth it. We was able to continue running around the park all day. Did not eat there. The amount for food was a bit much for 6 kids.

Wow we got there on a Sunday and the water park was closed, but the rest was open and we practically had our very own park attendants going from ride to ride with us. No lines, no waiting for anything and the employees were very attentive, kind and friendly. Our family had a ball!

Ride side was abandoned- sidewalks overgrown. I didn’t see but one adult working and it was the maintenance guy- who happened to be manning the grill. The food was overpriced even for a park. The slides were dirty with slime- and weeds everywhere/ including in the water. Seems like it’s very poorly managed. Not really worth it unless you plan to slide all day

Been planning this adventure for a while family was here visiting, grandsons 15yh birthday -3 kids Total- Bought the tickets weeks in advance. Got there- and it looked run down, unmaintained, went in the cashier said life gaurds didnt show up, no call/no show- only a few ppl to run the park.The lazy river & all kids pads were closed- the gilrill was not opened either- mind you your not allowed to bring coolers in the park- so how do you stay hydrated in over 100 degree weather!?!? The kids were able to go down 2 water slides- all that was opened, they went down a couple times before they closed the slides for good and opened the lazy river. The 15, 11 & 6 yr old was not wanting to get in the lazy river nor were the rest of due to the water being so murky, dirty and moldy. Everything was over grown, nothing was maintained, trash everywhere, so much dirt in all the water rides- Spoke with the manager - expressed my concerns- he said the life guards went to another function- on a busy weekend -Saturday. Obviously there is maintenance issues, staffing issues We left after an hour & went to some place else... Was not an idea place to go to celebrate a 15th Birthday or any birthday. Huge disappointment!

Paid for a combination rides and water park. About 50% of the attractions were closed. This should be relayed to the customers "before" paying for admissions! We left in less than an hour.

I used to work at this place. It's a decent park to spend an afternoon. However, it is maintained by the bare minimum of staff who can't keep up with all the maintenance of an actual amusement park. Granted, the staff who do work here are always very kind and helpful. Just know that everyone is doing their best.

Our second time here and this place has gone down hill. Half of the arcade games do not work. We were fortunate to enjoy March Madness promotion; however, they ran out of pizza and we had to wait almost 2 hours to get it. It was surprisingly empty during Spring Break 2024. They need a total overhaul of everything!

Came here on a slow night where they only had about 3 workers running all of the rides (since it wasn’t busy enough for them to have anymore). All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially Joseph. He was more than willing to help and open rides just for my 2 kids to ride. Goofy golf and laser tag were extremely fun as well. It’s a smaller park but the prices are decent considering everything thats included in the wristband price. We’ll definitely be back!

We went for the day. Had a good time. Was worth the price. This isn't a huge place, there were no lines. They open at noon and close at 5pm. Good place for little kids. They have 6 or 7 big slides. The lazy river was not open when we were there, if you are taking teenagers they will probably get board after 3 hours. We did have a good day and yes we will be back. If you have little ones buy the season pass it pays it self off by the second time you use it.

We had the best time! We rented a cabana, but the cost was well worth it, just to have some shade (too expensive OUCH!) I had three kids (6, 10, 12) with me and they ran all over the park the whole day. This park is a lot smaller than the larger beach water parks, but there was barely a wait for the slides and plenty for the kids to do. I mostly enjoyed dips in the lazy river and checked in on the kids. Food was great but a little overpriced. ($20 large pizza) It’s a waterpark, you have to expect that. From what I remember, there were only one slide out of order. They did have a “situation” in the bathroom and it smelled really bad. We spent the whole day and it was never addressed. Also, toilet paper was not well stocked. I don’t know if this was just a situation or an every day thing, but it was really awful. Make sure you wear your shoes in to the bathroom. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this park over the big beach parks due to the park entry cost and short wait times for the slides.

4 out of 8 rides down, one shut down while we were waiting in line, you have to find an attendant that has an attitude to start the rides, the food is expensive and takes extremely long, they didn't have enough golf balls for mini golf and the nicest employees were the ladies working in the snack stand. Not worth the time or money, needs alot of upgrades and better management.

This is a nice little place if you have kids. The people are nice. They give you food at the entrance to feed the birds. They teach you how to feed as well so that the birds don’t bite us. There are multiple macaw birds in the cages. They also have some peacocks which walk around freely. Overall, this was a nice experience.

We had a 6 yo visiting and found him using his binoculars out in our back yard listening and looking for birds. He was strumming a guitar on his tablet because he heard birds liked that. So we took him to Uncle Sandy’s. He loved the peacock and played for him. He was too short to feed the caged birds but he kept playing for them. The volunteer was great educating all of us on the birds. What a great experience to see all the exotic birds up close instead of on Instagram. It’s a smaller park but it was fun. Other families were visiting as well

This place is pretty neat! Three people who work there are super friendly and smiling and funny. My daughters and I had a great time. Is more than affordable. The birds are loud and it's clear which ones are ok to feed and which ones might try to nip a finger. Very up close and personal experience. Albino peacock was beautiful. Thanks Sandy for helping my little girl feed Snowy! You made her day. We will be coming back

What an awesome place! We stumbled upon this place while searching for something to do with our kiddoes. We were not disappointed! My husband and I enjoyed it just as much as our little ones. The staff was incredibly friendly and the birds are very loved. I believe our absolute favorite was the free roaming peacocks.

Amazing time for a low cost! Fed many types of birds, including peacocks, macaws, and emus! The volunteers were very friendly. Also, this place is NOT like a professional zoo and not like a corporate ran place. It may look a little run down. However, I think it adds to the charm. It's truly a hidden gem!

My wife and I only intended to volunteer long enough to learn how to care for large birds, in anticipation of getting a Cockatoo. However, we fell in love with Uncle Sandy's, the birds, and the other volunteers. We have been coming back regularly for the last 4 years, even after we adopted our first large bird (coincidentally not a Cockatoo). If you're looking for an interactive and educational experience that won't break your budget, Uncle Sandy's should be at the top of your list of places to visit. Uncle Sandy's is a nonprofit organization, so your entry fee and all donations go directly to the birds there. Uncle Sandy's is the best kept secret destination in Pensacola.

We loved it. Absolutely beautiful birds that you can feed with the supplied food. Almost 150 exotic birds in multiple cages. The attendant was very friendly and educational. A must see if you are in the area.

This is great place to visit with friends! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and love to have a great time. They even teach you how to feed the birds, which makes for a very memorable time. Thank you so much Uncle Sandy's Macaw Bird Park for a wonderful experience!

Awesome unique experience! Macaws were gorgeous to see and interact with. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. The peacocks and emu were especially loved by the kids. :)

My family and I loved it here! It's amazing what they do for these birds, and as long as you listen to instructions, feeding the birds is so much fun and fulfilling. We all fell in love with Lulu the cockatoo. The bug spray was much appreciated.

Lots of beautiful birds. Admission is 5$ for adults , they give you food to feed the birds with. The emus are alot of fun to feed and their little roars are amazing. A couple of the birds are super talkative and like interacting. Staff is super friendly as well.

We really like this place. It's so easy to get to right off of nine mile, it's not too expensive, and there are so many birds to see, feed, and talk to. There are beautiful macaws and other birds. Our kids absolutely love visiting here. It doesn't take a lot of time to walk around and you know that your money is going to a good cause helping to rescue and care for beautiful birds.

We absolutely loved this place. It’s so cute and the vibe is chill. So many birds to look at and they were all beautiful. It was a little rustic looking when pulling up but do not let the looks fool you. This place is amazing. Definitely recommend adding this to your things to do list.

amazing place! very cheap admission and the owner is a super cool guy. SO MANY birds to see including parrots, emus, peacocks, and cockatoos! they were all sweethearts and I will definitely be coming back. (the pictures I took do not do this place any justice, was very encapsulated in the birds and didn’t get great photos)

When we arrived at Uncle Sandy’s I was like I don’t know about this. But we went in anyways and boy sure glad we did. We were able to feed a lot of the birds with the food provided. They all look like they are well cared for and have plenty of things to keep them occupied. Got to see the peafowl which was my main priority and ended up with some beautiful pictures. Will come back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend

Stopped by this place after conveniently passing by and Im so glad I did. The small admission was worth it and the warm welcome was well appreciated. There were plenty of birds there and some even talked. I was given peanuts and noodles for feeding. If you’re thinking about visiting, check it out. CASHONLY

This was our third time visiting. We go every time we come down to Pensacola. Our favorite to visit is lulu who loves to dance to music. We look forward to coming back in the fall.

Very friendly volunteers there. You walk around the multiple enclosures and can feed them. They mark the ones that like to bite with red stars so you know what to look for. Definitely worth checking out!

I was not sure what to expect when we pull onto the parking area. Almost decided to leave but decided to go in anyway. For a $5 entry fee, it was well worth it. You won’t be disappointed and some of the birds may even talk to you! Enjoy and have fun.

This place is a hidden gem! You get to feed macaws and other birds! There are also peacocks and an emu. The birds also talk! The admission is only $5 for adults!

Nice beach, plenty of shells and waves. The kids enjoyed their time in the water. Not crowded and very spaced out. Would recommend this location to and out of town family visiting the area.

Gorgeous beach, not many people or buildings, dune grass on one side and ocean on the other. You really can’t tell you’re near a populated area. Outdoor showers, on site toilets, great place to walk and look at the ocean.

I would give 5 stars easily if all of the bathroom facilities were functional. Right now it just has porta-johns. Only the west entrance was open. The beach here is fantastic. This was our go to beach on Perdido Key. You don't have to deal with the condo private properties restricting you to the tidal area. It was never overly busy, and it only costs $3 to park. Outdoor showers are functional.

I gotta say it’s a wonderful place for a getaway day, weekend or week. The sandy beaches are incredible. The sunny weather is not just nice, it’s spectacular. Walk the beach, fish some too, have a cold beverage, they have them for you. Enjoy all there is, and never forget. Perdido Key is for fun, come on down and get you some. (Please like my review.)

Very nice beach. Was surprised there were so few people for it being spring break. It's kept free off trash, has adequate parking and well kept restrooms/rinse stations.

Small state park with beach access. Across the street is a trail that can be hiked or biked. Trail is 4.5 miles round trip and is fairly easy. No pets animals allowed

What a beautiful park and surrounding ocean front! The Ranger looked super cool with his ranger hat and uniform on, and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful about the park and local area. Thank you so much! 5 billion stars!

Bathrooms were closed so had porta potties in parking lot. Little overwhelming on 90 degree day! But the beach is beautiful and water was perfect. Little steep drop off on entering water. Tons of shells everywhere.

Love love loved it! Clean beach and not to crowded. (August) clean shower areas and nice big bathrooms. Water was calm with some marine life. Great for snorkeling.

We are local to the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast! Visiting the Fort and the park is always a treat. It’s a great place to watch the Blue Angels practice as well. If you like to camp I highly recommend their campgrounds, but check vehicle height restrictions prior to booking. We treasure this beautiful sanctuary and it is a must see for anyone that can make the trip! We buy a Gulf Islands Park annual pass and use it to visit several other areas, including Johnson’s Beach.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Florida in my humble opinion. Get the weekly pass when you first arrive. Saw all sorts of sea creatures while we were there. Rays, crabs, dolphins and a wide array of fish.

Beautiful drive around the property. Had to be the most stunning beaches I have ever seen. The fort it’s self was a ton of fun to explore, lots of tunnels and passage ways to explore.

This is an absolute must in Pensacola. All throughout the day you will see wildlife and a prestine beach stretching for miles with clear water. The park does not allow dogs on the beach.

This beautiful beach and National Seashore is right up there with our most favorite place, Ocracoke Island, also National seashore along the Outer Banks of NC. I love the sunsets on the Gulf here at Fort Pickens and the white sand and clear, calmer water. My husband misses the Atlantic waves he loves to ride, but he loves it here, too!

Wonderfull place the see the Blue Angels in the sky. Great Beach, plenty of wild life. You have to check out the Fort. A Must Stop !!!

Can’t say enough about the Fort Pickens area of Gulf Islands NS. Outstanding beaches. Very clean, well maintained. Fort Pickens, excellent historical landmark. Water quality, it was insanely clear while we were visiting. Wildlife, we saw a bald eagle, dolphins, numerous other bird species, fish, crabs, sting rays, at every turn wildlife! Bicycling, I brought my bike and got to ride, tarmac in the park isn’t the smoothest but gorgeous views and cars within the park respectful. When we return we plan to camp, bring our outdoor gear for fishing, kayaking, etc & take advantage of this gem on the gulf coast.

The fort is well worth the $25 entrance fee, the beautiful beaches are icing on top. Please please get the app and do the walking tour, it's well set up and makes the experience so much better. The kids had a blast exploring, and I'd narrate the tour so they actually learned about what they were looking at.

The Gulf Islands National Seashore - Ft Pickens area is pretty cool to see. It was a hot September and the fort had areas to keep you cool. Bring plenty of water as their is only 2 places to buy drinks if you plan to spend several hours to see the historic buildings. You can see the Pensacola lighthouse from the fort. There is a fee to enter the area.

LOVE GINS! If you are a beach lover, bird watcher, and you want to be off the beaten path, this is the beach for you. Great clean facilities, nature trails, sunsets, sunrises. The ocean is clean, emerald green, clear water. The campgrounds are well run and taken care of. I love the history of Fort Pickens. It's a 5 star place all the way! Highly recommended

We really enjoyed exploring the fort and the beach. The trails were fun too.

It was awesome. The man at the gate was very friendly. The beaches were awesome not near as crowded as some of the public areas.

Never have been here before until today we had some food to feed the ducks and had are dog walking with us as well very peaceful and relaxing a hidden gem in Pensacola

The park itself has a multitude of different memorials, with a central pond being the main focal point. There is lots of nearby community rejuvenation, making the park feel much safer during the day than it once did. This is a good place to pay respects, have a picnic, go for a walk, or just reflect. There are temporary bathrooms. Parking can get full during peak times.

Absolutely love this park. Covers most war eras. Plenty of parking. Sidewalk trail around the park. Porta potty available. The water fountain in the pond is a nice touch. Ducks in the pond. Information Center with brochures and a QR code. Benches around the exhibits.

Veterans Memorial is a tribute to those who have served their country and gone on before us. This day was the dedication of two new bronze sculptures created by Randy New representing many years of marine and service from our dedicated military. From the helicopter to the beautiful bronze statues, the walk through the park is a wonderful experience with the quiet lake and fountain to the wall of names. Truly a place to visit in Pensacola.

What a nice memorial park. Very well maintained, clean & pretty. The artwork & monuments to honor veterans of all military services for the last 100 years is respectful & tastefully presented. Definitely worth the stop. Saw a family picnic along the well manicured lake shore watching the water spray of the fountain, water fowl & other birds. Then across the street by the waterfront was a memorial for missing children. A jewel by the waterfront.

We stopped in here because we had some time before our flight home. I’m so glad we did! What a beautiful park. So well done, so informative and referent. It’s obvious that Pensacola honors the men and women that have served our country.

Probably the best veterans park I've ever seen. Easy in and out parking. Beautiful pond and grounds around it. Not too small and not very big. Beautiful bronzes around the southeast side.

This park is absolutely amazing! I'm not even in the military and I got emotional walking around. Each memorial is well made and well taken care of. The wall is incredible! All those names will never be forgotten. The small lake in the middle is peaceful and filled with ducks. Gorgeous scenery with deep emotional impact. 10/10 would recommend

It was an absolutely amazing experience!! It is a memorial that true has its spot up there with the national memorials I’ve been too. The monuments and memorials cover all the major wars. They have a revolutionary minuteman minute. The Son’s of the American Revolution were involved in this one. The engraved WWI memorial was very elegant, it is showing some age though. Wall South was very touching. Then I visited the Purple Heart monument. It was well done. I continued into the Korean War display it was excellent and had tablets inscribed with the different heroes of the war. Next as I was walking I ran into Stan. He was cleaning up the ground of a newly installed monument. He began a friendly conversation about the park. I learned he was a veteran, but additionally how much he does to make this park run. Their is a whole crew of guys keeping this wonderfully maintained. It’s really hard to believe it’s going on thirty years old. They take extreme care of all the monuments. I also visited the Gold Star family memorial. Stan shared several excellent stories about his time with Woody Williams while the ground was broke and during fundraising!

Really enjoy this park for many reasons. I am a retired military member and love the enrichment of the several different types of memorials that have been erected in honoring our thousands of service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Many different wars are shown throughout the park of many conflicts our men and women have have fought to keep our country free. I also like that the park has concrete pathways so that elderly and handicap people can stroll and enjoy the park as well. Many different types of people come to visit this park to enjoy its presentation and remembrance of our fallen. These include joggers, exercising type walkers sight see'ers as well as dog walkers to mention a few. Very warm and enjoyable place to visit.

Absolutely beautiful memorial, all soldiers of all wars

Definitely worth stopping and walking around. Seeing all of the names really makes you appreciate our military. There is a pond full of ducks and turtles, military statues, and beautiful plants. If you cross the hwy, there is a nice view of the water.

Really great memorial. Everything from the Revolutionary War Minutemen to the Global War on Terror is represented. Each exhibit is presented with such detail, it’s very well displayed and laid out. Especially loved the eagle gripping the World Trade Center piece that began the War on Terror. The Purple Heart, Vietnam, WWI, WWII and Korean War Memorial were great also. The clock in the center is great. Whole thing is top notch and great way to honor those who have sacrificed.

They only carry the local snowbird newspaper and are funded by my Tdt taxes. They give me evil stares when I pick up brochures for my air bnb. The pensacola beach visitors center is run by friendlier more knowledgeable volunteers and have many more local events. I wish they ran this location too.

First time for my family to experience the Blue Angels and our first time in Florida as well. We were late by a min but were very grateful that they allowed us to change our tickets to the next day so we didn't have to miss out on this experience. Every one of your staff was friendly and kind and we will definitely be going on this cruise again next year!! Thank you for helping to make our trip a great one!

What an awesome experience. If you're a tourist, local, or just looking for something to do one evening check this out... We went on the sunset cruise. Got to see the Blues, Dolphins and an amazing sunset. Worth every penny and a great addition to Pensacola.

Wanted to do a family boat ride on a beach trip and not spend too much money. The ferry ride was great. We did the sunset cruise. Lasted 1.5 hours. Very nice boat and the crew was very friendly. Also had a bar and the drinks were very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed it.

We went on the taxi to see the Blue Angels practice. They had an air-conditioned area to sit and they had snacks. You could go outside around the edge or go upstairs to the open. A bathroom was provided on board. I would recommend this excursion.

This was my first trip. I went with my bestie and her friend and daughter. We had a great time everyone on the upper deck sang happy birthday to the 3 people celebrating their birthdays.The drinks were great the view left me speechless it was so beautiful I had fun running around taking everyone photos. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a peaceful sunset cruise. The crew is amazing the price is reasonable. I can't wait to come back to go again.

They serve beer and wine. Limited snacks. If you want to be on the top deck get in line early they have a passenger limit on the upper deck however there really isn't a bad spot on the boat if you are going to see anything. Friendly crew. Clean restrooms. Cool way to see the blue angels from the bay.

Wonderful opportunity to do something a little different while family was visiting. What a wonderful experience. Purchasing tickets on line was a simple process. Snacks and beverages were included. A cash bar was available. The sunset did not disappoint. I didn't see any dolphins, but maybe next time... and there will definitely be a next time.

Wow, a spectacular and remarkable trip! It was so beautiful and romantic! I would highly recommend this sunset cruise!! The staff and crew are very friendly and helpful!

It was great seeing all the different works of painted art! The only thing wheelchair accessible is the parking lot that's full of cracked graffiti painted asphalt and a good view of the bridge. There's a boat launch from the parking lot and a tiny area of beach (like family of 4 sized). If you have the mobility to climb a steep grass hill you can view the painted railroad at the top of the bridge and the surrounding waterways. The lower terrain under the railroad is made of grass that leads to larger sized gravel and rocks that are also painted. Very beautiful.

A must see! Bring some spray paint and leave your mark before you leave nice way to say goodbye before heading back home

It is a underpass on a busy road for railroad tracks. It's interesting to see all the graffiti. I'm sure it can be hard to find a place to park. If you're a graffiti artist and you want to do it legally it's probably a great place to go

Good spot to either spend with family chill with your significant other romantically.. Beautiful view sunrise and sun set .. also if your tired and low on money does allow moderate over night parking..

Lots of beautiful graffiti. Rocks, train truss, fenced walkway on the other side of the underpass. All painted. The parking lot is also used for boat launch. If you walk across the tracks to the other side of the water there's even more. Looks like homeless people live on the other side so go during daylight. A few spray cans laying around but not as many as I figured. Locks on the fenced walk trail as tribute. Watch out for traffic while looking around. People don't slow down.

This bridge has been her for ever, back in high school I tagged it myself, that’s 1988! To see it still thriving warmed my heart. The area is much more clean from way back when! There is a padlock fence too a new addition from back then. The park that was there is nice and clean too, trees and bushes are trimmed and neat. A great experience and walk down memory lane for me.

Very touching for me. I feel this is as important to see as Paisley Park if you’re a big Prince fan. Bring something to draw/write your own message.

I used to enjoy going here more than I do now. Graffiti Bridge used to have the most beautiful graffiti and was quite an attraction. These days it looks like a bunch of middle and high school kids snuck out at night to graffiti. I miss the really neat stuff that used to be there. You used to never know what to expect, but now you do (a bunch of random words scattered across the concrete with cheap spray paint).

Very cool bridge to check out during your stay in Pensacola. We walked along the railroad tracks to the other side. BE CAREFUL!!! A local told us while it is rare, some people do get hit on the bridge!

We saw it on TV and wanted to know where it's located. We ran up on it. My wife is a true parrot head and loves Jimmy Buffett. Great job to the artist who did it.

Funky & fun spot. Some great murals mixed in with colorful graffiti. Lots of little walking paths to explore. Boat launch in the parking lot & fishing spot. Fun place to explore.

I always drove by but never had a chance to stop until couple weeks ago. If you can read the history in Google about this bridge it will be great before you visit. Local artists constantly update the grafitty, good place for pictures, there's free parking. Only thing I didn't like there's clearly a homeless camp under the bridge more towards the little gazebo facing the water view. Besides that is cool thing to do.

This spot is beautiful and you can come back everyday and the scenery will change. Be careful of the vehicles because the road under the bridge is in use but it was a fun little stop on our trip, even my 3.5 year old enjoyed looking!

Glad to see they have a designated place people can go and paint how they are feeling instead of doing it on the building's and other things. Me and my daughter enjoyed seeing it. Made a special trip to see it on our way from Florida back to Texas. Giving it 3 stars only because there are some inappropriate things written on it.

THE 17TH AVENUE RAILROAD TRESTLE BRIDGE was built in 1888. A local Pensacola landmark, people have been painting the bridge for generations and the paintings change daily. This is a great place to start your day with a sunrise picture.

They NOW CHARGE PARKING.. I didn't see where to pay and there are no lines or even safety features.. the meter lman sits there and doesn't even warn you he just is issuing tickets. My son says it is $5. I will probably be issued a citation soon he seen me get out and ran straight to my car and wrote a ticket.. no warning.. NO WARNING AT HE never showed me a sign. There are not any signs saying paid parking ANYWHERE.. SO I will update when I learn my citation amount. I will not be going back there at all.

This is definitely a 5 Star attraction of Pensacola as it is free and on the way between Pensacola Beach and Pensacola, you can even leave your own mark on the bridge. Sometimes it gets a little trashed but it is kept clean by Ocean Hour Florida and for their numbers they do a great job.

Cool spot for pictures! The bridge sits on a road overpass and across a small river. I saw boats come and go under the bridge and it’s a nice view. The road underneath the bridge is quite busy so not a very secluded area. The area itself had a lot of debris and trash surrounding it, so be careful if you’re biking, walking, and visiting with pets.
