100% recommended! Perfect place to go and have a nice time with the kids. My kids ages 9 and 5 really enjoyed it. The fishes are appreciated very well and they look super happy. Interesting information displayed everywhere. The people who work and the volunteers are very friendly and they are always ready to answer the children's questions. We will come back every time we visit Florida. Thanks for such a good job!

This is a great place for any age to visit and learn more about the beloved Florida Sea Turtles. There is no admission fee. Actual research and rehabilitation happens on-site in cooperation with Florida Atlantic University. There is a beautiful walk that goes through a butterfly garden and stops along the Intracoastal waterway. It wasn't an overcrowded attraction but there was not a shortage of visitors. The Aquarium has a huge eel like I've never seen before. They even sell a stuffed version of this character in the gift shop. If you are local or visiting it's worth checking out on a beach day.

Amazing place to go on a day date. Very fun to explore! And it's free! You can spend a couple of hours there walking around and checking out the aquariums throughout the property. It has a nice smallish nature walk that leads to a small beach on the bay. Don't pass up on this place!

The park is such an amazing place. Clean, organized and well maintained area! Signage and maps are available around the park plus paper copy by the entrance. Associates are very nice and friendly! Will definitely recommend to visit!

Definitely worth a visit! Learn a lot about native Florida and sea turtles. Not a lot of parking due to construction plus the weekend. Restrooms very clean. Staff extremely attentive, welcoming. We loved doing the scavenger hunt. Our little one left with a surprise gift after finishing. Overall we had a great time. We spent approx. 1 hour there - two adults and 7 year old.

We can’t believe this place is free! So many fabulous learning opportunities for the kids. We enjoyed learning about so many sea creatures and seeing animals in rehabilitation. Great place to spend part of a day!

Gumbo Limbo is such a beautiful nature center. I have two kids (2 & 4) and they love it here. Beautiful sightings of butterflies 🦋, turtles 🐢, lots of fish 🐠, and sting ray too!!! There is a variety of things to see here. I believe it’s free access, but they do accept donations. This is a great activity whether it’s summer time, after school or something to do on the weekend with family. I love that it is stroller friendly, a huge plus! Bring your sunscreen and enjoy nature’s beauty!

Such a beautiful park, with an incredibly informative and kind staff. Completely worth the visit if you have the chance. Tons of baby hatchlings to see, rescue tortoises, and beautiful aquarium displays.

Nice little Center. Easy to navigate around for about 60-90 minutes tops. Good selection of fish and 2 turtles. Nice outside Butterfly area with no nets to restrict their activity. Construction seems to be taking up some parking. Best Part….FREE.

Wonderful place to visit. No cost. Butterfly garden and outside areas have mosquitoes so off could be helpful for a leisurely walk. Haha. They love me. They have a great rescue and treatment program for the sea turtles there.

This was a great experience. The parking lot isn’t huge, so depending on how busy it is, it can be a little tricky with parking. It’s free to get in, but they have a box and a gift shop to collect donations so they can operate. Great opportunity for kids and animal lovers. They rehab turtles from the area. Too cool. The staff were polite and knowledgeable. Just be sure to check their hours before showing up. Some parts may close earlier in the day depending on the day.

Absolutely superb experience at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center! Free admission (we weren’t sure when we first walked in, but the staff was incredibly attentive, patient, kind, and informative. This center not only provides education to visitors of all ages, but provides crucial services to help sea turtles survive and thrive! They have a hatching center that you can see down into; we came just before the expected hatching week; but can wait to go back so we can see FAU taking care of the turtles after they hatch. While this center is free, they encourage donations, we would highly recommend everyone donate at least some funds to help out their cause. If you don’t have cash, there are some convenient card donation machines in the gift shop. Lots to do and see, I would highly recommend a visit here.

Absolutely so much fun! Adults and children both can enjoy! They have huge, huge tanks with all sorts of fish that come straight up to the window and tanks with baby sea turtles that they are nursing and protecting. There's a cute little gift sho other I fell in love with. Everything from necklaces, bracelets, shark teeth, turtle trinkets, and more. I had an absolute ball coming here. Come support this place!

I happened to come by while an observation tower was being revamped and the rescue turtles were off site so I missed a bit. Other than that, the grounds are pretty. There are walking trails. There are daily programs so I got to see the fish being fed. Highly recommended.

Was a really nice place, lots of fish and animals to see, a nature walk with many plants. I will say it's hard to find a parking spot so you have to either get there early or drop off your crew and wait till one opens up. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly!

Another great place to visit by the beach! For the kiddos and teens and adults! All about sea turtle conservation!! See all the Turtles being cared for and those that could not be returned to the wild! Also a Butterfly Garden and boardwalk nature trail. Free admission, accept donations. Gift shop on site.

Great place to visit with kids, to learn about sea life and have fun for a couple of hours. The boardwalk is a great experience to get into the natural Floridian vegetation (don't know if you can call it a forest). The fish tanks are great because they have big windows where kids can enjoy the experience. I recommend to visit just before midday, because the feed the fishes at 12:30. The Florida Atlantic University have a lab there, where you can learn about the life circle of sea turtles. There is also a butterfly garden with a path where kids can run around (there are some mosquitos so be aware).

This was our 3rd visit here. The place is so beautiful! There’s so much nature and wildlife to see. We went early and were treated with several banana spiders, orb Weavers, crabs,woodpecker and a raccoon on the trail. The nature center itself is so well kept, beautiful sea life to enjoy. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. We learn so much every time.

This place is a free gem. A quick walk across A1A from the Atlantic Ocean. The aquatic nature center is Interesting and informative for kids, adults and seniors. Fish of all sizes and species are freely swimming in large aquarium tanks or pools. Small seahorses and other aquatic life are on display in an indoor lab. Students from the FAU School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS) are available to answer questions. It was a windy day when I visited, so there was no activity in the butterfly area.

This is one of my favorite places to spend some time with your loved ones or alone! There are many restaurants and stores, and the area looks beautiful! We ate at Max's Grille and the food was excellent, and the waiter was very polite and professional.

Very pretty! Lost of shops and restaurants. The park in the middle is just beautiful! Perfect for a family outing. And a plus is Mizner Park Amphitheater right there! People actually take chairs and listen for a FREE concert outside!

We were told when visiting Florida we need to see Mizner Park. The Christmas decorations along the street were beautiful and the place was very lively. Parking was easy to find and there are lots of restaurants/shops to visit while you are there. Highly recommend seeing this place especially during the Christmas season.

Mizner is the perfect place to walk around with your family or to meet for a date. You can window shop, play lawn chess, enjoy coffee and people watch, and have a delicious meal.

Our server was the nicest! Never rushed us and explained everything about the menu and drinks too. I tried both margaritas she suggested and I was blown away! Tasted real freshly made not too sweet and not too sower either just as I like them we will be back next time we visit that area. There are many restaurants and shops to browse and if it is raining there is a walk way protected / shaded 😁 plenty of free parking too.

What a great place for an out door concert. The park itself offers restaurants for dining before and after a show. Easy parking. Saw 3 Doors Down and it was epic. Sound was great. Great places to hang out after the show walking distance from the stage.

Mizner Park is in East Boca off of Federal hwy just north of Palmetto Park Rd between NE 3 and NE 5th It's an open air shopping, dining, and entertainment venue in Boca Raton, Florida. It’s known for its upscale stores, restaurants, and an outdoor amphitheater for live performances and events. Nice place to take a stroll, do a little shopping and have a bite to eat. You can take a cooking class at Sur La Table or have a drink at the outside bar at Max’s Grill. There’s also a movie theater and a bowling alley. They also have concerts at the amphitheater and of course you could view an exhibit at the Boca Museum. Beautiful architecture, it’s one of the highlights in Boca and should not be missed.

What a beautiful place to walk around. There are numerous restaurants to choose from, shopping; very nice shops and boutique, a liquor store, coffee shop, which you can sit outside, go sit by the relaxing fountain, there is a Free Parking garage. I personally have been going there as of recently to hangout at the American Social Bar-Restaurant for Music Events 12-5pm as I was there today ! I got to see Gucci Crew & Nyasia & DJ Johnny Quest 90’a day party 🎉

Mizner Park is a timeless gem reminiscent of Europe with fountains, cafes, outdoor dining, Boutiques. It is a great place to meet friends and bring a date with a large variety of restaurants. American, Asian, Italian, Seafood. IPIC movie theater is located in the south end of the plaza. Mizner Park is highly recommended. Definitely top notch. Metered parking and free parking in the parking garage.

Honestly not sure why there’s hype around this place and shocked at the reviews. The energy and people that tend to come with Mizner is so uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and entitled. A basic shopping center with WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE. It doesn’t matter what time of day you go there’s NEVER ANY PARKING, you have to pay when you do finally find parking, and it’s a nightmare to get in and out of. The general crowd this attracts…inconsiderate entitled humans with money and a lack of self-awareness and a huge lack of spatial awareness. You can barely even walk on the sidewalks and people do not move out of the way. They walk right into you without any awareness of others around. This place has always left me in a worse mood than when I arrived. The few times I have gone. I will no longer go here. Overrated and not good for your nervous system if you value your time and space.

The best Ever!!! What an incredible facility! From the 3 story climbing maze to the butterfly garden with little hiking trails to the awesome science interactive room! Oh and the carousal! It was so much fun with my 6 year old grandson and great niece and nephew! The structure is nicely covered from the sun. Be prepared to run around climb and slide! Parking is ample

Great park for kids! Huge outdoor play space with small sprinkler area. Cool indoor science area. Carousel was not working at the time. Shared covered picnic table (1) area to sit and take in a snack while beating the heat. Really lovely spot

It nice and beautiful park, but long wood labyrinth. In such a crowd, I lost sight of my fast toddler several times. I was so scared and after such big stress I took baby to home. In such a big place baby forgot everything when sees such interesting playground. If you have so active toddler as mine, better wait til baby turns 8-10 years.

Wow what a beautiful and peaceful park. Very nicely kept. This park has a bunch of activities for the little ones. Lots of science stuff to do. They even have a carousel which runs on weekends and a very nice three story playground. Baseball fields. Lots of places to walk. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are very clean. Basketball courts for adults and children. Picnic areas. NO SMOKING AT THIS PARK. NO PETS ALLOWED. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again. Thank you very much for checking in. Love this place for my 3 year old. Swings. Climbing frames splash pad! They have a little science museum there too with fun things for kids to interact with. They have a trail park which I love for a nice walk amongst nature, and they have a horse carousel. It’s the best place to take your kid for a couple of hours, but bring five dollar or one dollar bills to get coins for the horse carousel. 1 coin/ $1 per ride per kid

Sugar Sand Park is the perfect place for kids. The playground is massive and has cool interactive features. The park also has a splash pad, a carousel($1 per ride), and a science-themed play area. There’s something here for kids of all ages to enjoy, I highly recommend checking it out.

Awesome playground for kids, it’s huge one way in one way out so don’t panic if you lose sight of your kid, it gets crowded but still plenty of room to run around, there’s a carousel for tokens next to playground $1 per token per ride, bathrooms real close and clean, def plenty to do with your kids or family in this park, one of the better spots I’ve been too. Playground is innovative, areas for toddlers, young and older kids. Museum and free parking. Plenty of space for parents to sit, bring food and water.

TOP PLAYGROUND EVER!!!! Let’s cut to the chase…I have taken my now four-year-old to 175 different playgrounds, no joke. 175!!! This custom playground structure is THEE COOLEST, funnest, most amazing thing I have ever seen!!!! It’s like a three-story maze! You will lose your toddler in precisely 3.2 seconds! LoL There is a misting “splashpad” area in the center, a small kids train-themed area, a carousel, a kids museum, and much more on the playground grounds. This park is my NEW #1 playground ever. If you live within two hours of this park it is well worth the drive for you to spend the day here with your kids and family. Take a picnic, it’s an all day activity. BEST PLAYGROUND EVER!!!

Although my kids and I went during the early afternoon hours when the sun was burning bright, we all had a fun time. All of the slides and spinning activities were piping hot, but the fine mist and breeze at the splash pad made up for it. The carousel was down for maintenance while we were there and this park is free for all. The jungle gym area is designed for children up to 12.

We went to Sugar Sand Park for President’s Day weekend BBQ. They have Pavilion that you can reserved in advance for your event or you can go to the Picnic Area. That is first come first served. They are usually very clean. All those areas have trees around to provide good amount of shade. There are tables and benches. They also provided water hose for you to use. There are dumpsters for your garbage. We had a great time. They also have playgrounds for kids on the other side. That is a great park for friends and families gathering. We definitely recommend others. Atmosphere ———- (A) Clean / Organize —- (A) We gave them 9.8 out of 10 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

One of, if not the best, parks to visit. The place is huge. The playground is a child's dream come true. So many places to explore. Then when you're done, there's a science center with tons of experiences inside. All set up and ready for you to have fun. And learn. That is the best part. I brought some food and had a picnic on the ground with my family. They also have tables and chairs. It is a wonderful place to visit.

One of the best kids and family parks for recreation. This huge park includes areas for bbq, explorium science saloon, walking and explore trails, playground for kids, water park and many other funny activities. 300% recommended.

Sugar Sand is definitely one of the best kids playgrounds I have ever seen. It is so versatile and involving so you can easily loose couple of hours with your kid. The huge multi level structure is accomplished with swings, slides and many other tools I hardly can put names on. Another nice thing is a $1 carusell, which is incredibly atmospheric, love it and so my kid!

Best free park ever! There are two main play areas, so fun for little and bigger kids. The playground is stroller & wheel chair accessible but the playground equipment is not all accessible. There is a large maze type structure that kids and adults can navigate. There is a small water area in the center, just enough to cool off- not quite a splash bad. There are lots of areas to sit and tons of shade! There are bathrooms, which also have toddler size toilets/sinks. We stopped here on the way to Miami- since it’s right off of I-95. A great stop to break up a long road trip!! Honestly I would have paid to get in to this park! The only problem is keeping an eye on your kid since it’s so big and getting them to leave because it’s so much fun :) *editing to correct that there is an accessible way up the playground equipment, but you can’t get everywhere

Huge free playground with separated zones for toddlers and older kids, splash pad, carousel, museum!!! Kids fell in love. Bring food and water with you, there are plenty tables and seats. For carousel need cash to buy a token ($1 - one ride) or buy tokens at the reception inside of the building paying by cc. Free parking. There are a lot of kids and it’s super fun for all ages. Restrooms are inside the building.

This is one of the best free parks in Florida.  The kids loved it!  It has something for every age and is well spread out.  There's a mini splash pad and even cubbies outside to store your things.  Bring shoes because some of the playground gets hot during the day. Plenty of seating for parents and shaded areas to take a break.

Wow—this is an amazing venue. This “park” actually consists is several outdoor and indoor spaces: an interactive science exhibit, a garden, a nature trail, a few different playgrounds, a theater, courts/fields for your favorite sport, and a lovely carousel which costs just a token ($1) for adults to ride (but seeming free for 2 and under). Looking forward to returning. My favorite part was solving the H puzzle in the exhibit and being extremely impressed by the local high school artworks on display.

Great mall! Love coming here when I'm down in Boca. You have yourself trendy stores, great food places and restaurants, furniture stores, department stores, and luxury stores. The mall is beautiful in and out. I always feel bougie, comfortable, and clean when I come here. Just wish they would have more designer stores in the mall area like Balenciaga, Fendi, Dior, Burberry, etc in the mall part by LV and not in Saks or the other department stores.

Nice mall, a lot of the displays were out when I went Christmas shopping so I had absolutely no idea where I was going, but overall nice selection of stores. I was able to get all my shopping but the cards done there. I liked the opinions in the food court, everything from pizza to pretzels. A lot of security so it made me feel safe, extremely clean, whoever the janitorial staff is they need a raise. Would recommend!

Poor security!!! The door is very near the playground and there was a rock, holding the door open and two kids Were going around through there and around the other area throwing stuff at other kids and running away. Security was not available. I called the manager of securing a report of the issue, but also a rock in the area is it unsafe and it can be a weapon also the door even though I locked it the kids were able to open that again from the outside and that’s when the security guard happens to be coming to the door and caught then. No camera in that hallway… Hope this can help

This is a great mall! It is also really expensive! The mall has an Apple store that is wildly busy. The food court is usually busy and the Chick-fil-A is also usually slammed. They have a GameStop by the old Sears end of the mall. There are a lot of good restaurants. Capital Grill is the best amongst them. There is no inside mall entrance/ no mall access between capital grill and the mall. You can only get in from outside. This mall could really use some kids toy stores. I hope they put in a movie theatre where the Sears used to be. My wife says that it’s going to be more shopping though.

Its a wonderful time of the year to ge to be at Town Center. Lots of clients and sales, most especially in the shoe area. This place is rocking! Lines are long and could barely catch up with my group. While walking around. Saw (2) officers and (1) in Newman's. The place was clean and the interior was very festive. The parking lot is full and had to drive around 20 min. To find a good space. ******** Bocahhhhhh… Ooh lah lah. I have heard some say Town Center is second to Mizner Park. Oh well, in my humble “opinion”, I am updating my narrative of Town Center to 4 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟, (since I gave it 5 stars before) because I heard of an unfortunate incident at the *1. Parking Lot. Previously, I mentioned the need for safety for the clients with high end with purchases when exiting the mall. I see a police car which is a good start close to Sax 5th. This area is safe, in my opinion. However, I think the parking lot has to be beefed up further. I haven't been around the mall itself, but at least I found (1). Inside the mall, I saw a few security guards beside high end stores. I was impressed when I saw (1) "Loaded" imposig security on alert, which is a good move from Simon Properties. I hope they will add a few more of more imposing guards in the near future. This I believe is a good sign that they care for the shoppers. However, they must pay more attention outside. Safety is my #1 concern most especially when the holidays come around. 2. I have been coming here for several years and have seen delightful changes, like the exquisite transformation of the floor treatments & whimsical decors (ie. butterflies looked so heavenly!) The color scheme is magnificent and pleasing to the eyes. It really complements the high end stores, so appealing and lovely. It makes me want to stay the whole day shopping along. 3. Everywhere I went the scent was appealing. However, passing by "AS" & "VS", the area had an unusual scent? I may be wrong, but notice the air is turned off 30 min before the Mall closes? 4. Some stores are in need of minor updates since they present very high end products. Do stores close at the same time. There were some that closed early? Lastly, 5. Spending quality time with my parents makes it very memorable for us. We take a brisk walk at least for 30 minutes, clocking in at least 2 miles or less, and stroll down for hours. After that, we start shopping and have diner at the end. So for those who leave close by and are looking for something different, this place is the best place to be. Enjoy!

Love this mall. It has everything I could ask for in a mall. I also love that there’s always new stores coming in and out along with food places, this mall is also very clean. I will complain tho about the size. I truly wished that Boca Raton would have a bigger mall or another mall. Compared tô other countries there’s usually 2-4 story malls with movie theaters inside up tô grocery stores. Town center tho has (mostly) LOTS OF rich people (luxury and high-end)stores and the occasional food. I also really wish that there was another Starbucks or if they made it bigger because the lines will literally extend tô like an entire corridor 😭😭. But I definitely love the mall in general and there’s cute bathrooms and good pretty restaurants. Like the hidden mariposa in macys 😀 and the California pizza kitchen so good. Recommend if you live in Boca Raton. Every girl needs a mall 💝💝💝

Love shopping at Macy's. It's a great store. I was just there the other day just browsing and I found a really nice shirt that was on sale plus I had a coupon. The Staff is great; friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. They have some great buys when their is a sale. They are handicapped accessible, parking lot is big.

I live out of state and haven't been to a mall since prepandemic. Lovely and fun shopping experience.

Good sized mall, but not huge. Variety of popular stores. Well designed food court. Whether you're interested in shopping, eating or just being around others. This is a decent venue for everybody. Wifi could be better. More restroom facilities wouldn't hurt either. All in all, worth a look.

I was waiting for a drink for more that half hour at Starbucks and the girl that was delivering the drinks today (11/24/23) was really rude when I asked for my drink and ignored me until I decided to confront her and showed her my receipt that proved I was waiting for half hour and then she throw it away it in front of my face while she asked to prepare my drink! So many good department stores. Starbucks, right in the middle of the mall along with a lounge section. They pretty much have every store that you need. They’re just missing Zara.

Do not come to this mall. They allow unsupervised children children to run around like maniacs with carts that think it’s fine to hit elderly people. This mall will ignore your phone calls and say that they called you back have their insurance company not call you back and leave your elderly family member life ruined. Security, is a joke, and did nothing but lie about the situation. They were more interested in protecting their assets.

One of my favorite malls in South Florida. I’ve been shopping here for two decades and I’ve always found what I’m looking for. They have stayed current by opening new and trendy stores as brands emerge. The layout is shopper friendly and the outdoor area is well manicured.

The Town Center at Boca Raton is a great place to shop. They have every major brand here. Make sure that you reserve yourself a lot of time here because there are so many great shops so you will spend hours. The place is extremely clean and safe. It is definitely one of the best malls in Florida. They have EV and Tesla Parking in the garage area near Nordstom's. The Tesla is on the second floor and EV parking is on the first floor. There is an Apple Store, of course, that is extremely busy because the mall is so good. It is best to set up an appointment and if you have to wait then you are in a good place for that (SHOP!!!). I find the parking at the Nordstrom's/California Pizza entrance is the best and usually not busy. If the mall is real busy then the garage by Nordstrom's (with the EV and Tesla Chargers) always has space. There is actually a Police station in the mall in the Garage by the Tesla Chargers. This is place beyond safe. They have a great food court with a Chick-Fil-A and good vegetarian options. Security is nice and helpful. The place is really clean; including the bathrooms.

That place is gotten upscale and looks amazing. I worked there. I would say about twenty years ago, and i've been living not in florida for the last fifteen years, and being back at this mall wowed me. All the stores are high class and high-end, and I love it. We don't have stores like this where I live which is which is in NC.

A particular highlight that makes Red Reef Park truly memorable is its turtle nesting sites. If you're fortunate enough, you may witness a turtle laying its eggs. And if luck is truly on your side, you might even get to see the spectacle of these eggs hatching, with the newborn turtles embarking on their first journey towards the sea. To increase your chances of such a magical encounter, I recommend visiting early in the morning. Red Reef Park is not just a beach, but a mesmerizing natural spectacle that leaves you with lasting memories.

Place is beautiful. I think it’s a little overpriced. It was $50 a car on the weekend when all the places free beach access.

This park is easy to miss. There are secluded beaches and nature trails that make this place special. It's always kept clean and it's almost never crowded. It's per friendly, has plenty of bathrooms and showers. Definitely a great beach to spend a day in the sun.

Beautiful park and beach 🏖️ however $35 to enter and park is a bit pricey but it is worth it if you come early and get a bench and a bbq to grill. The bathrooms were clean and the outside showers to wash off the sand were great 👍

This is my "go to" beach park in Boca Raton FL. The beach is great and generally shallow which nice for school age kids. Multiple Lifeguard stations, barbeque pits, gazebos and cabañas for some serious fun and if thats not enough there is the Intercoastal section of the park on the west side of A1A for fishing, nature trails boat watching and more. The nature trail even connects to the Gumbo Limbo Nature center which houses FAU Marine Biology lab. So much to do in every direction. Did I mention Golf .... yes that too and it is all free just pay for the ample parking on either side of A1A.

Beautiful but every time we go either it's too windy to swim or like today bacteria they didn't let us go in. Park across the street in the golf course parking lot it's only 3 dollars an hour. Next time though I think Deerfield because it's better for swimming.

This beach was beautiful. Sand was so soft and plenty of beach to go around. Wanted to try to snorkel the reef but the waves were too big. Plenty of parking but it cost $25.00 for the day. A lot of picnic areas and grills. A cute little nature walk in front of the beach. Not a whole lot of wildlife unless you count the numerous spiders hanging across the trees lol. They are above head reach. Definitely found a new beach to relax at and hopefully get to snorkel.

Beautiful and awesome beach park combined with a golf course right on the beach! Now with an electric car charging station! Watch out for the iguanas that just want to get away from you! Beautiful beach and walk ways. Ok bathrooms and covered picnic tables with barbeque pits. Good parking and extra parking across the road.

This is one of my favorite beaches to visit. Its not too crowded and the park is beautiful! Affordable metered parking is across Ocean Blvd if you are alone or only with a couple people. But if you have enough people to share the cost, there is closer parking on the east side of the street for $35/day.

We came to go snorkeling at the reef, but we couldn’t find it easily. Nowhere is the reef location posted; not at the park and not on their website. Additionally parking cost $35 for the day, which is a bit much, especially when you have to leave because of thunderstorms. When we got in the water we went out way too far and the lifeguards called us back in. You are not allowed to go snorkeling past the buoys, even with a dive flag, which aren’t even allowed at the park (lifeguard informed us). We found out later that the best place to see the reef is within the buoys. There are two inner buoys, and if you follow the line between them, you will go over the reefs.

I love this beautiful and cozy place! Incredibly beautiful winding wooden paths along the beach, green spaces, gazebos and barbecue grills or just a family picnic, playgrounds and a large parking lot along the entire park, all accesses to the beach have stairs or access to the beach. I love taking pictures in this location ❤️

The place is amazing, the parking I paid a rate for the day,if you need to go out to have lunch, you need to keep the receipt to be able to go back to the parking without paying again. Same with the chairs… My nephew love it, it was an amazing day that we have in the beach.

It was my first time in this nice beach,and I didn't know how relaxing this place is. There were few people clean and warm water, I didn't see any seaweed. Excellent place to go and relax. I parked across the street ($3.00 an hour, 4hr limit).

Great Beach! I recommend to park on the left side ( you pay by the hour) rather than the official parking of this beach which is a daily price ( it was 35.00$ for a private car on a weekday. we paid $6 on the other side for 2 hours)

That's a beautiful beach and a shore. Very nice and peaceful. There's a pricey entrance fee but you can also pay by plate in the front parking lot. The officer is so nice and kind.

This is a beautiful beach. We came on a weekday afternoon in April and it was quiet. Very clean, bathrooms at the parking lot, lifeguards on duty all along the beach, and if you forgot your chairs or umbrella, rentals are available. Parking was pricey, but it’s beautiful here and you definitely get what you pay for.

Great place that you pay for parking with amenities. Nice, clean utilities with changing rooms, bathrooms, play parks, and a cool painted cove that leads to the beach with cabanas, chairs and umbrellas. $25 parking fee is totally worth it for the day!⛱

While the area is beautiful and well-kept, with one of the best playgrounds I've seen, parking is $50! Absolutely crazy. You can get here for free by walking the beach south from Spanish River Blvd and entering through some pretty cool tunnels that are painted with sea animals and beach related things.

Was trying to enjoy the open space of nature and couldn't even make it in because of the $50 entry fee. All we wanted to do was enjoy nature and to come across the gate and have them say it's $50 to enter.... Are you serious? It's cheaper to get into a national park. I'm sorry that's just outrageous. I'm all for paying to get into parks. I love to contribute to keep things going but $50 is crazy. I want this to be accessible to everyone and to charge that? Just crazy. Weekends/Holiday or not.

A wounderful park in Boca Raton Florida. Residents can purchase a yearly pass and non residents can pay by the day. Amenities include Cooking grills,picnic tables ,Pavillion ,playgrounds, access to beaches public shower and restrooms.

Beautiful park & beach. It is $35 for parking so I would plan to stay a while. You are allowed in and out until 8pm. It is absolutely worth it. Not overcrowded, clear water, plenty of parking. The showers are near the parking lot which is great to get all that sand off before getting in the car. My kids enjoyed the park. You could really spend a full day here. To the person who complained about seaweed, I didn't see much if any while I was there. There are signs posted that they are currently in the middle of sea turtle season which prohibits raking the beaches above the high tide line.

Awesome place, my kids loved the zip line! The park is relaxing and right across from the beautiful beach. The bathrooms are very clean. Awesome place to picnic with the family.

The park is amazing with a lot of place to park and have a lovely time with the family, have a nice playground for the kids, but pay $50,00 dollars I guess is too much.

Great park. Parking is large and there is plenty to do near the lot, picnic tables, grills, bathrooms, park, and showers. It is $25 to park at this park did realize that pulling in kinda high when we only planning on stay an hour make sure your going to spend the day there for that price. There is a tunnel that goes under the road so you don't have to cross traffic great for kids. It's a short walk to the beach. Their is umbrellas and chairs for rental. Overall experience was good.

Excellent place.if you come on week days is really empty, entrance to the park is only 20 dollars all day in secure open parking. you can cross to the beach thru this tunnels, really convenient bathrooms, they rent big umbrellas 100% recommended if you don’t want to spend much money, also. Sand is really nice and they clean the outside in case of the rain to keep the sand really clean. We even like it so much that we come back next following day to take white cloth pictures before the sunset

Love this place parking is great. They have very clean bathrooms and showers in near the parking lot so you can wash off and use the facilities. It’s great for a day at the beach.

I love this park. Great secure (under A1A) access to the beach with a long and peaceful beach. It is great for swimming or spending time with the family. Parking and car access is a little bit expensive but have good bathrooms and tables with a lot of shade to enjoy as well. Highly recommended. Update 2023-08-06 still best park in South Florida

Excellent, not a bad seat in the entire theatre. We saw Carousel and it was very well done. The cast was an excellent, what an incredible group of talented performers. If you're on an end, prepare to stand up for those in the middle as aisles are not terribly wide. But seats are quite comfortable, and hand rails abound. Food, drinks including soda, water, beer, and wine are available for purchase. Get there early to secure a seat in the lobby for a pleasant visit with other theatre goers. Enjoy!

Second time at The Wick and can't wait for the next one! Just came back from their Ascot immersive experience and lunch. Everything on point, no detail left unattended, not one hair out of place, delicious food, beautiful show, excellent service. Ms. Marilyn's stories, what a treat! And of course Kimberly's permanent presence and involvement is the cherry on top. Don't think about it, just go!

We just saw Fiddler on the Roof here last night, and it was incredible! So well done! The theater itself is beautiful, with great restroom facilities and a nice small bar. The seats were comfy, and the ushers were helpful. Also, the guys running the valet service were AWESOME. Even with the rain, they managed to get everyone's cars in no time at all. Huge kudos to them!!

Wonderful first experience. Have lived in the community for many years having every intention to attend a Wick Theatre production. Lively, toe tapping, uproarious humor, sentimental and fun. So nice to have such talent in our community. Will be back.... perhaps become a season's ticket holder!

Lovely small live theater with almost a homey feel! I visited over the Holidays to see Cinderella! It was wonderful! I highly recommend ! Valet parking for shows. There is a whole season of shows with a restaurant on site but I did not eat there. There is a costume museum which I will check out soon!

Wick theatre has a really Beautiful lobby. Staff is welcoming. Ushers are great and so helpful. Valet parking. Saw Fiddler On the Roof. It was absolutely incredible. Huge cast with magnificent voices. Tevya was a Stand out. The cast was first rate. Superb show. I laughed and cried. Ms. Wick was so gracious . Made my husband and I feel so appreciated She stood at the door saying good bye to every customers as we left the theatre and thanked us for coming.. Very special experience. Highly recommend going to the Wick Theater

There is no business like show business! The Wick Theater is an amazing place to see plays. I had the pleasure of seeing the final performance of The Milliondollar Quartet! You can also have dinner or brunch prior to the show. Yet another fine establishment for live entertainment in Boca Raton/Delray area. Be sure to buy season tickets to this first class venue!

Had a lovely time at the museum...such a wonderful selection of significant garments from the past. The restaurant served an elegant and delicious luncheon. The staff and service was exceptional. A very special and unique place in Boca Raton. I was really impressed with the museum and theater and learnt quite a bit from the knowledgable staff. This is a special place I will definitely be returning to again and again.

Love this amazing Wick Theatre and costume museum. Discovered The Wick and Costume World on a random chance to see Liberace show in 2017 and again for many shows. First time at the Wick Theater to see West Side Story just last night. Absolutely fabulous!! Then in addition to the play we had a cabaret after the show which was an added bonus. Also deserving was the piano player who was fantastic. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

What a great day yesterday at FAU, Boca seeing Laura and Barbara Bush. It’s even greater when First Lady of the United States remember you as a former Presidential advance representative for President G. W. Bush and President G. H. W. Bush. It was a pleasure serving the American people at the highest level of government in the Executive Branch from the age of 18-37.

FAU Stadium is home to the Boca Bowl! Great views from most seats, but food options are limited and pricey. Parking can be a hassle, especially for high-profile games, so plan to arrive early. Overall, FAU Stadium offers a great college football experience with a few minor drawbacks.

Had a great time here the game was a lot of fun and they had Tacos Al Carbon as one of the food options so that was awesome.

The home of the FAU Owls on the north end of Florida Atlantic University holds 30000 fans. The stadium boasts state of the art equipment and grounds. Every year the Boca Raton Bowl is played here. This year USF and Syracuse played. A premier lounge sponsored by Acura is located on the top floor. Plenty of Big screen TVs, free food and soft drinks and a cash bar. There’s also a nice view of the field from the windows.

Surprisingly, not typical stadium seating. A hollow poly urethane seat and back allowing a little flex. On the other hand, the speaker system was terrible. During the commencement address after the announcer said the 1st two words of a sentence, you couldn't understand anything thereafter. A 5🌟 star experience however the poor speaker system.. -1 star 🌟

A great college football stadium! Parking is easy and the walk is extremely close to wherever you park on campus. Go Owls!

Good stadium. Parking is too far away and you don’t really know where you’re allowed to park based on parking permit but overall it’s a good stadium. Seats are comfortable, concessions are reasonable, and you can tell it’s a newer stadium within the past 10 years.

I enjoy going to the stadium when they have a game playing or for any event. The stadium is beautiful. It's great to have something like this in your neighborhood. Check out The Avron aB. Fogelman sports museum if you can.

Of all the college football stadiums in Florida, this may be the best. Only the colleges that play in NFL stadiums (USF, Miami) have better gametime facilities for their home games. We visited here for the Boca Raton Bowl game and were impressed with Howard Schnellenberger field at FAU. Sideline seating was on benches with backrests and chairback seats, not bleachers. The structure was solid and didn't shake when fans stomped around. It was easy to move around and get to concession and rest room areas. My critique was that parking was disorganized and crowd control at the gate was lacking. Also concession lines were very long and beverages ran out by halftime.... No beer, then no bottled water. Thankfully it was a night game in December and there were no dehydration problems.

FAU Stadium is one of the most beautiful, family friendly sports venues in the entire state of Florida. It is a fairly new stadium with clean, comfortable seats and amenities. The sound system and lighting are top notch and we always have a blast dancing and cheering on the Owls Football team! There is a clear bag policy, which I appreciate as a parent!

We went for the tulane/fau football game, which my Tukane team won, and a good thing it was an overcast and windy day because it's a completely open Stadium it would have been very hot sitting in the seats. Good thing though we were on the west side, so we would have been in the shade for most of the game anyway. It was a comfortable Stadium, men's rooms were nice and they had a good selection of beer and food.

Nice little beach along the south jetty of the Boca Inlet. The beach is far enough north of the big condo line coming up from Broward County. Parking is by meter with a pay station that works dependably. There are a few free beach parking options in Palm Beach County. This isn't one of them. Strangely enough, the beach parking permits you buy online aren't good here. A life guard stand is prominent as you walk the boardwalk over the dune to the beach. The beach offers nice views of the jetty, boats navigating the inlet, and other pleasant beach scenery. Because this is closer to us than the free parking options, we use this beach on a regular basis.

The park is nice but the parking is to xpenced and half of the parking lot was reserved for the residents. The fishing spots are pretty much if you are looking to fill up a fish tank with some exotic fish is ok. Fishing in the yeti not that much action but it was fun..

Really great and not too busy beach. There was a lot of erosion, however. The time we went the waves were very large. It was a lot of fun!

One of the best and most beautiful spots in Boca raton. You can watch all the boats come in and out and there's even a pavilion with BBQ grills that you can rent for birthday parties and such. Great spot to come with your family and enjoy the whole day, the parking is expensive at $4 an hour.

I had been here before and it was really nice but yesterday it had to be one of the worst beach I had been too. City not cleaning it up. Weeds so high and smelly that the water was brown. Never seen this in florida before esp since we are in a very prestige place. Shame on the city as the guard told us its months since they cleaned up. Not to mention they were dumping some kind of sewage into the ocean to add salt to the wound.

A small park with good paid parking. It has two different parts to the park; a beach that is very small depending on the tide level and a large grass area with park benches. Short boardwalks take you from the parking lot to the beach. There is a small playground for children and a large pavilion that says “This is a reserved pavilion area, please use beach access.” A few people were in the pavilion so I guess it’s fine to use as long as it’s not reserved for a private group when you are there. This is the northern end of the beach so you could walk down the beach as far as you want to go and the beach will get larger further down. The waves were large and it’s fun watching boats going into and out of the inlet through the surf.

Sometimes a shift of plans opens an unexpected path to something better. My scheduled dive canceled, as they couldn’t fill the boat and financially justify the trip. I decided to head to the beach with my mask and snorkel for a swim. I arrived at South Inlet Park Beach in Boca Raton. Upon arrival, I noticed a jetty and thought … this should be teaming with tropical fish. I was correct. I swam along the rock wall, that sheltered the entrance to the canals, that led to the homes along a venetian style water boulevard. The sun shone bright, allowing good visibility, easy 30 ft, in the shallow, powder blue, waters this day in South Florida. The current and tides, were, gentle and ideal for snorkeling. I entered the water from the beach and swam effortless along the rocks, making my way along the slopping rock wall. My first thoughts, were; focused on how much activity bounced around these rocks. It was a shelter for schools of juvenile, stripped snapper, baby barracuda, tangs, dancing damsels and all sorts of finned creatures. As I came to the end of the jetty, where it pointed like a finger out to sea, I was suddenly engulfed in a moving school of cigar minnows or round scads. They raced nervously around me just arms-length. Quickly, the cause of their tension, was revealed. At first a few small, Tarpon fish raced below the herded school. Then there were larger ones, some easily weighing as much as I. All of them darting around from different angles and working, together, to corral these bait fish, before launching attacks into the schooling mound. I followed this, excitedly, sucking air from my snorkel in gulps, feeling, fortunate to have swam into this feeding phenomenon. The school moved further away from the rocks and I followed them and their carnivorous caravan into the open water. Soon large barracudas joined the hunt and the feeding frenzy continued. I didn’t see an actual strike, only the darting of these large fish into and out of the wall of swarming fish. After all this excitement I determined, my hour and a half, metered parking at the beach lot just wasn’t long enough. I exited the water, collected my stuff from the beach and marched back to feed the meter. I returned and went in for swim, round two. I entered at the same spot and began the journey along the rock wall of the jetties. I finned, calmly along the rocks, observing the different fish and their behavior. Currents and waves gently lifted me above the shallow rocks and set me back in place, before exploding in tiny bubbles on the rock wall. The fish scrambling, almost running into me and the bubbles tickling my body. The fish quickly resumed their activity, pecking and feeding on the algae clusters, that encrusted the rock wall, until the next wave disrupted them again. While observing all this activity, I suddenly saw a small barracuda, less than 2 ft, rise out of the rocks holding a scad fish in its mouth. I missed the strike but it had just happened. The barracuda, had the doomed fish midway between tail and head. The barracuda, seemed startled to discover me face to face with it. In that moment, it shook its head with force and the scad was now cut in two. The barracuda, quickly gobbled the tail end as the scad, the head end, bleeding and rudderless, finned hopelessly into the rocks followed by a hungry mob of fish. The natural world isn’t always kind but I find it consistently fascinating and wonderful. I wouldn’t have likely come across this on a dive … so a canceled excursion ended up a much more memorable experience ….

A great park just north of Deerfield beach. Plenty of shade in the park offers a respite from the heat. Lots of picnic areas for family gatherings. Well maintained boardwalks all throughout. Restrooms and showers are on premises. Beautiful views, and it's a short walk to the pier. Lots of restaurants nearby. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of people fishing on the jetty. Seems like the place to be on the weekends...

The best little treasure found in Boca! We love, love the big name water parks, but unfortunately they are far away from Boca. This little treasure trove was amazing! They have a playground for smaller children, a lazy river, two large slides, and a little stand to eat or drink if you need. A pavilion to cover yourself if you just need to sit and get out of the sun. I had a blast and so did my family.

This beautiful well maintained and managed state park is absolutely gorgeous! Towards the back of the park is our wonderful waterpark. We are just so thrilled to have such a beautiful surroundings here with tennis courts. Anything you can imagine in the state park and the prices aren’t too bad it’s a lot of fun I highly recommend it. There is complementary parking and the kids have a marvelous time in the adults as well.

Visited Today.The place was fun and clean around the water areas. The only place that was filthy were the restrooms. You can see and smell the filth. The concession stand was closed, no food for sale but coolers and food were allowed on this day. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Fun lazy river, tons of parking, not too crowded, not expensive, shallow play area with slides for small children or non swimmers, deep pool for adults and medium slides for everyone. Great place overall, only restrooms need a good cleaning to disinfect and deodorize.

The ninja course was a favorite for my kids. This park is not too big, so it's easy to watch multiple kids easier than at a rapids type park. We love it here! So much fun🎉 Very clean and pleasant! Lifeguards are always on duty at their posts and ready to help! Plenty of sun loungers for those who just want to relax! There is a toilet and tables for snacks! Entertaining water rides from the little ones to their parents! Any age will have fun here!

Excellent for kids 12 and under. Bring your own towels, food and drinks as the choices at the refreshment stand are limited.

A great affordable city water park for some family fun. We went on Ester Sunday and it wasn’t packed at all. Plenty of shade and chairs under huge umbrellas. Although some of the chairs needed a good cleaning. They do not have any private cabanas. It’s a first come first save basis. You will be sharing your space with others as the chairs are right next to each other. The park is small and caters more towards younger children. One of the best things about this park is that it has a lazy river! They also have a decent sized kiddy play area and two 40ft slides for the bigger children. A small concession stand was open that served water, icees, a few snacks and ice cream bars only. A vending machine is at the entrance with sodas and energy drinks. You are allowed to bring in your own food, so plan ahead. NOTE: I tried to order pizza for delivery but they do not deliver to that location, you have to go pick it up about a 5min drive away. This was Dominoes. The staff was very friendly. We had an unfortunate incident with another patron and they handled the situation very professionally. I would definitely go back here. It’s less chaotic than a bigger water park, not crowded, affordable and you can bring your own cooler with food and drinks.

I would like to give a 3.5 ratings if possible. Price: website price was different than when we went there during March break 2023 (see pics for 2023 prices). Staff: staff were nice, but not enough people working on a Saturday during busy time. There were enough lifeguards. Food: bring your own- not much option besides chips and cold drinks/ ice cream. Although, signs said no outside food, people had their coolers and brought their own. Cleanliness: lost most points for not enough cleanliness. Bathroom were in poor shape with soap dispensers empty, no bathroom issues and very dirty toilets. There’s only one restroom area by the front with no children wash stations.

This is a clean public park. Nothing to write home about but it was just an ok experience. Unfortunately the crowd can get a little chaotic and there’s constantly someone breaking the rules that ruin your experience and the lifeguards having to reprimand them really gets annoying. It’s not really a relaxing place so don’t go there if you’re trying to unwind. It’s a good place for family and younger people.

On the date of 9/25/2022, I had the pleasure of enjoying a sunrise and calm seas at South Beach Pavilion Park, located in Boca Raton, Florida. The has a large gazebo that overseas the ocean and a smaller gazebo to the southside of the park. The park is on the smaller side with a limited amount of parking and only a few picnic tables. There is a nice faculties center providing outdoor showers, restrooms and filtered water. For the kids there is a play area that's fenced around the perimeter.

People keep saying this beach was free… we paid $35 for parking!! that’s crazy!! And the parking lot wasn’t even that nice… the bathrooms were gross, and the beach was mediocre, you can find a much better beach and park for $10. Never waste your money to come here

For a public beach it is great they offer chair and umbrella rentals if you don't have your own and the attendantbis very helpful. There is a boardwalk through the mangroves and a kids playground. Washrooms and outdoor shower are available. Only a few parking spots close to the beach.

Awesome beach poor parking. Beautiful views. Watch out for huge spiders don't run into them however they don't do much. Ok bathrooms.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, the beach ,the park,the people were so nice,I loved it,what a great time I had,the beach is amazing, the atmosphere is family oriented, trust me you will love it

The worst beach experience ever and I’ve been to a lot of beaches. After paying $35 to park for Just a few hours left in the day - you walk through a beautiful park area. Then it opens up to nastiest most unkept beach I have ever seen. Seaweed stacked high part rotten and it stinks with bugs all over it. I know seaweed is part of the beach at times but for the cost you would think these beaches were maintained. Plus the beaches are separate entities, not operated by the same group so you can’t use your parking anywhere else. So 20 minutes for $35 and we went to the hotel pool. Too bad it won’t let me give 0 stars because that’s what they deserve.

Windy day had a lot of waves, high surf and red flags, so no good for water and sand blowing all over but the beach itself was nice consistent sand, with good facilities and parking at a reasonable rate in the parking lot.

I really like this beach, but as its the case with most beaches in South Florida right now, there is a lot of seaweed that gets left behind as the tide goes out. The beach isn't a very deep beach, and it's quite popular. So expect quite a few people throughout the day. I personally enjoy sunrise and sunset as the beach is quieter. There are lifeguard towers and lifeguards which make people feel safer. Parking at the beach is paid, and only allows for 1 hour, but there is a paid parking lot just to the north of the beach on A1A that shows you to be there longer. You can also find free parking (up to 4 hours) on the last block of Palmetto Rd before the A1A.

This is a great place to visit , on my visit it was 30 mph the wind, and it was look great front the bridge 🌉.. love it

This nature center has neat exhibit for kids to learn about local wildlife. The animals are well taken care of and they have a great bird feeder and mini pond that attracts a lot of wildlife just outside the center building.

Really nice park with lots to offer. If you like butterflies they got you covered as soon as you are walking in by the butterfly crossing. If you like birds , they got you covered before you start the trail. Lastly if you like trails they got you covered with a lovely elevated trail . It also has a tower over looking the treetops at one of the trail ends .

We almost didn't come here because my husband read that it was a very short walk. However, we are very glad we did. It was fun and memorable! We were immediately engaged by the stork walking around the lakefront by the parking lot. We actually didn't know what it was, but we found it later on inside the Center as one of the exhibits. After that, we immediately saw a whole bunch of turtles while looking over a footbridge. I'm not kidding you when I tell you we saw 10 turtles all at once. They kept swimming up to us and passing by. We were convinced they were looking for food, but We concluded that was not the case. The turtles were different from each other and were fascinating to watch. We spoke with some folks who had seen an alligator an hour before that. But, don't worry, you are well out of the way of the alligators. The walk was indeed short, less than a mile, but if you pay attention to the educational signs and look for the bits of nature that they describe, it is a fun and engaging time. We saw some cool native plants that grow in the trees and we learned about bald cypress trees and how they are deciduous and their roots pop up and are called knees. I've been around the block in these types of places, yet I've never known these little facts! The signs didn't talk about them, but I saw some spiders I've never seen before. I'm not a spider lover but I could not help but appreciate how amazing they were. After our walk we went inside the Exhibit Center and were pleasantly greated by a nice lady named Rona. From start to finish, we had a really great visit. As far as it being small, I kind of liked that fact. Sometimes you just want to have a little outing, perhaps with kids or perhaps you just want to get out of the house for a little while but not commit to a whole day. This is perfect.

We saw one small 3’ gator and a bunch of turtles congregating at the first section of the boardwalk. The rest of it has a lot of foliage and a bunch of cool spiders, don’t worry though as they aren’t blocking any paths. There is also a tall observation post here too!

A really nice walk and great sights from the observation deck. Well maintained and clean. Saw a lot of turtles and an alligator. Saw many birds also.

We visited the trail behind the center, kids saw an alligator and turtles; a nice nook of nature inside the city.

Love this little nature center inside the massive county park. We took elementary age kids and basically entertained them for free. My bargain hunting friends looking for daytime activities with kids will surely love this place. We spent just under two hours here. The indoor nature center has a few exhibits that were educational. A side room had story and picture books and crayons and pages to color. The nature walk in back of the building was the highlight tough, featuring an elevated boardwalk through the natural area. The boardwalk had viewing spots where we saw many turtles, fish, and birds. At the end, the boardwalk led to a three story observation tower that the kids loved to climb. The experience offered a glimpse of South Florida in its original natural state.

Excellent place to spend time with the little ones and to know about our beautiful Florida ecosystems! We had a blast visiting the Exhibition Hall, reading books in the Book Nook corner, and then walking along the elevated deck along Trees and wild animals. We had the great surprise to see an alligator swimming along with snap turtles.

Free. Can’t beat that. Cool turtles and tortoises. Alligators. Nature boardwalk. Friendly and informative staff. Huge park.

This is a delightful park that has a little bit of something for everyone. The center itself is a fun and interactive place for kids and adults to experience a small,taste of florida nature up close and personal. Their exhibit room is stunning and informative. They also have daily animal feedings :-) my kids adore this place!

I always like to walk on the trail which is so beautiful and so clean! Kids got to see a lot turtles and even one alligator! The butterfly garden is beautiful too where you can see different kinds of butterflies.

Had a wonderful time with my family. The kids really enjoyed it, As for I was concerned the kids didn't even wanna go home.

Best Science and Exploration place we have ever been. My 7yo loved it and said it was her favorite placer ever. It's free. They receive donations. It was crowded, but we did not feel it. It is also inside the Sugar Sand Park, so you have more things to do like a big playground and a carousel. Highly recommend it 👍 🙌🙌

Wow! This place is amazing!!! We went with kids ranging from 3 to 9 and they all had a blast and didn't want to leave. My 3 year old even tried to recreate some of the exhibits when we got home. They also have a beautiful garden that kids can water by themselves. I will go again and again.

Great place for kids! Surrounded by nature, and open areas. The carousel is beautiful and the play ground one of the best in south Florida. Have in mind that Carousel is open Friday to Sunday 10-2 pm.

Amazing little exploration corner for the kiddos. It's free but donations of $1, $5 or more is welcomed. So bring a few bucks with you to show your gratitude for all the fun your kiddos will have it is worth the drive and donation. You can make it an all day long thing or however long you want. Bring snacks and drink and if your kid is into water bring a bathing suit 😉. Happy summer ☀️!!

Free to attend and play. Even adults enjoyed the Explorium. The musical bench was a hit.

A great space for all family, you can find a large parking, playground , family pavilion with some grills, Basketball fields , Hockey fields , a 10 min pad deep inside of nature and science museum.

Sugar Sand Park and the children's science explorium is easily one of the best family places you can visit in Boca Raton. They have two rooms that have interactive exhibits that they alter from time to time both rooms are very unique one has a lot of physics and everything is touch and feel and sensory. Outside they have a beautiful butterfly garden that you can water as well as beautiful trails to walk on.

Adorable, tactile, and engaging. Its an amazing science center next to an amazing playground. My kids could spend all day bouncing between the two.

Incredible place for kids and adults. Lots to see and do and spend hours here. My girls 4yo and 2 yo thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a rainy day, so I plan on returning soon to enjoy the park, nature walk and carousel.

This place is awesome. Whenever we gat a chance I bring my daughter. We always have a great time. The science emporium is a lot of fun.

The Science Explorium inside Sugar Sand Park was a great activity to take the kids to on a hot summer day. It's indoors, air-conditioned, fun for pre-teens, educational, and best of all, FREE. There is a donation box at the entrance that is truly worthy of a few dollars, including from those who love bargains, like me. There are two main rooms inside that are the highlight with kids. The displays are fun, play-as-you-learn activities that keep the kids engaged for an hour or more. The kids couldn't get enough of the activity where scarves are transported through tubes through suction. The tubes are similar to what I have at home for my dryer vent exhaust. The place did get crowded as the afternoon wore on and more schools in the area were dismissed. Still, even with many kids in the limited space at the end of the afternoon, they all had a great time.

Great place to get children interested in science and how you apply it to real life situations. Very nice place inside the sugar sand park. Also have a great garden with flowers and butterflies, and a path to walk in the woods. Only down side is that the museum is very small, but children get very into the games and spend a while there.

What a wonderful place for all ages! They have all kinds of interesting stuff lots of interactive exhibits! My favorite is the Rocket across the top 5 4 3 2 1 Green light blast off!! It’s free with air conditioning and plenty of parking! Spend a day at the water playground and bring a picnic lunch! Really appreciate the outdoors and fresh air!

First time taking the kids, and they enjoyed every station. It was a Saturday so it was busy, but nothing crazy. The place was clean and everything was in working conditions.

Hello. I was recently in Melbourne, Florida on a business trip and took a few restful personal days in Boca Raton afterwards. I was able to attend and enjoy the concerts in performance that same weekend of November 19-21, 2021 at the Mizner Cultural Center. That weekend The Rocky Mountain High Experience starring Mr. Rick Schuler was on stage. The show was delightful and so much fun in every way!! Even as Rick performed many of the well known and beloved songs of John Denver, he also gave to his audiences even more of himself through the gift of his wonderful personal stories, experiences and own songs that made us laugh, smile and encouraged the hearts of all of us there. A concert well worth making the time to see!

I saw; "Men are frm Mars Women are from Venus" Very fuuny!! I had a great night. The venue is smaller than most which gives it a more intimate feel.

Show was great. Women who escorted to our seats were horrendous. So mean.

The service and the food was wonderful...Our server was very attentive although it was a busy Sunday night..she was always available...Recommend going to this restaurant...slpPalmBeach

Very cute! My little one had a blast playing dress up and pretend in the different sections they had, like the Vet station, Grocery store & Kitchen. *I also learned that they have art classes there too! It's a great little place, but could use a little funding to grow it a bit, as the rooms become a bit crammed when more than 1 child & parent enter. More funding could also help supply more interesting & newer attractions. What's there has definitely seen its days and are just bigger play sets like what you may have at home, but more variety and the addition of other children. Over all, was a nice experience and is luckily very close to home.

It's cute and has a lot for the kids to do considering it's small size. I can understand why some of the reviews say that a good cleaning is due. I didn't care for the third degree while using my reciprocal pass though. She looked at it and said they weren't a part of it, then flipped it over and said oh it says we are. Then questioned how long I had it and realized only a couple of weeks. That still want good enough for her so she insisted that I wait until she called her manager who was at the hospital with her daughter having a baby to get approval. Nice. My current and valid card wasn't good enough proof. Thanks. Don't worry, I probably won't come back.

We had a wonderful time here for several hours. The museum is a house and a great size for children to easily feel relaxed, with many interesting play areas.

We took our granddaughter to this museum, and it was so much more than what we expected. There is so much to do for kids to play with, and it is very enjoyable for the adults to see their children learn. There are several rooms with all kinds of tactile items to interact with. I don't want to give away too much, because I want people to be as surprised as we were when we got there. The story time and art classes with Miss Sima are the true highlight of the museum though. She is an amazing and patient teacher. She taught the children how to make pinwheels, and all the children were completely focused on her instruction, which is not always an easy thing to do with 3+ year olds. Lastly, they have a new area with stand and play water models where the kids can play with boats and watch how our water systems work. We will definitely go again. This is a place your children will never get tired of. Enjoy.

Cute cottage like structure with themed rooms. Ages 1-9 were entertained. Baby area was well equipped with foam climbing mats, and other hands on activities like a magnetic wall and soft musical toys. The outdoor featured a playground(bigger kids), a sand box, and water play area.

Excellent small and focused museum on Federal in Boca. Free parking. Learn about Boca Raton history, Florida during WWII, RADAR training, and IBM affiliation with Boca. Well worthwhile to visit 👍.

The history of Boca Raton is all here. Housed in a gorgeous, Addison Mizner created building. The staff is wonderful. I am definitely going back. Nice little gift shop too.

This museum is amazingly fantastic. Staffs there are so knowledgeable and kind. Doing some field trip here would be so fun for youngsters. Also the parking is great, a lot of spaces.

What a wonderful museum! We stumbled upon it while checking out small historical spots in the area. We spent about an hour and a half but could have spent more time easily. Anthony gave us a fantastic tour and was very personable. It was a lovely and conversational tour! We learned a lot and were surprised by the rich history of Boca Raton! It really gave us a lot of information that helped some of our other sight seeing endeavors to make sense and have context.

The workers are very nice and very knowledgeable about the history of Boca Raton. The attention to detail is very good. I would say this is not great for 5-7 year olds, but there are exhibits to touch and a cute mascot and scavenger hunt . Good place to go with older kids or adults and then catch lunch at Mizner.

Very nice small museum with tiny giftshop. Friendly staff. Wear a sweater. The temp inside is so cold you can almost see your breath. Enjoyed the displays. Would've appreciated more exhibits and info about the history of non-whites in the area throughout the growth of Boca Raton. My husband and I visited the museum on the first Saturday of the month when admission is free.

The Schmidt boca raton history museum number 1 parking is perfect right in front with beautiful trees surrounded it the architech of the building was exquisite! Went in the nice lady I think her name was Laurie she was very informative friendly I learned a plethora of information plus this is great for a little day date because you can just leave your car parked walk right across the street have some lunch and sight see 👀there was a lot of history on Mr Mizner and on Pearl city and IBM super cute! 🤗

Anthony gave us a very explanatory tour. We especially liked the IBM room, as my husband previously worked there and was able to make a connection. Each room is very nicely designed to tell about Boca Raton history. Highly recommended for visitors.
