I've been to a lot of hot springs and this one is my favorite! Especially in the fall, I love being surrounded by all of the changing colors. 5 dragonflies landed on me the last time I went in fall, it was magical 😍🍁It's stunning year-round, I love the location in the wilderness. I just wish the road to it was more accessible and not 4x4 only in winter. The view of the stars is amazing at night! I actually feel very comfortable getting naked here at night because they keep the lighting low, so nobody can see too much of each other. It feels safe and comfortable. I love that the pools are deep and each has a little bit different temperature. I wish they had more formal accommodations, I would stay here all the time!!

This is the hot spring of choice for adults in Steamboat Springs. (The other one is more of a kid-friendly spot with a slide and such.) Strawberry Park is nestled in a natural canyon, with a series of pools artistically constructed of stone walls. It is beautiful and the pool temperatures are lovely, plus you can swim in the COLD creek for a bracing contrast if you like. (Try it!) Amenities are minimal, so bring your own towel and (non-glass) water bottle. Service was also minimal, but the online reservation system worked fine and it doesn't matter much if the guy taking cash for entry isn't a social butterfly. Will definitely return next time we're in the area.

First time visit to the hot springs, with family. We weren't interested in the clothing optional scene nor stumbling around on rocks after dark, so we booked a 4-6 time slot. It was a very hot summer day so we were questioning the sanity of this, but it ended up being very nice. The range of pool temperatures let us move between hot and cool. Lots of people were in the lower cool (not cold) pool, switching to occasional dips in one of the hotter pools. The upper cold pool (unheated mountain stream water) was VERY brisk; only a few die hards ventured in there even on a hot day The mountain canyon setting was also much more pleasant than the sweltering temps in town. The pools have moss growing on the rocks, which is slippery. Enter and exit carefully and use the hand rails and you will be ok. The dark colored moss also makes it very hard to see the bottom and the rock steps. Water shoes are nice to have so you don't kick a rock with bare toes while fumbling around for a step. Reservations are necessary; you book one of the two hour time slots. Two hours was plenty of time for us. Services are minimal...bring your own towels. They do have a cooler with bottled water for sale where you check in. As others have pointed out, parking is limited, though it was never full when we were there. 'Shift change' is at the two hour reservation starting times, if you want to claim chairs watch for people from the prior time slot packing up to leave.

This place is gorgeous, clean and wonderful to visit. I went in the early fall, so it was not crowded, and I was able to get a reservation on a weekday and a reservation on a weekend. Also, because I went in the fall, I didn’t have to deal with the snow. If I was going when it was snowing out, I would definitely take the shuttle. There’s information on their website. I don’t have any photos to post because I’m not the type of person that goes into a hot tub situation and starts snapping photos. Frankly, I think that’s rude and please don’t. However, it’s as beautiful as the website to depicts & probably more so.

To enjoy this place for the first time, go during daylight hours. There is nothing on the website about it being pitch black and icy once the sun sets (we visited in November). There is zero lighting and it's incredibly slippery. The pools felt nice, but we couldn't enjoy the natural setting. Perhaps an evening visit is best if you've already been and know where to go. There's a very basic changing room with a curtain. No instructions upon arrival, basically good luck! I was really looking forward to this hot spring experience for my birthday, but was seriously disappointed. Please update your website with this information!

What a cool experience. Took a shuttle bus and definitely experienced the full offerings of the springs. Beautiful views and nice relaxing environment. Went at the 4:45 pm time slot. I would definitely return. This place is cash only but don’t really offer a lot of this for purchase. You can bring in your own towels or rent what you need.

Absolutely amazing place. The ambiance especially at night with the stars is beautiful. It is quite the drive and am not sure if we would feel comfortable during the snowy months to make it out. They offer a shuttle option for a fee and I would recommend that!

A unique experience staying at this place: I lucked out and stayed in Cabin #4 for the weekend. We had after hours access to the thermal hot springs where the sky was dark enough to see constellations galore and shooting stars pass by. The cabin bed was surprisingly comfy and our window looked over the river. The heaters had a hard time warming up the little room so we limited how often we opened the door. The grill outside was great to cook breakfast and the wooden seats were also solid. We kept our food inside with us and I believe we were visited (more so raided) by little mice who nibbled on some food but I never saw them with my own eyes. A unique aspect about this cabin is that you bring your own bed linens and towels, which is super sustainable; this place also runs on solar energy which I am happy to hear! The showers were a bit of a let down. The water from the sink ran HOT but the showers gave off a wimpy lukewarm stream. The shower floors could've been cleaner but I've seen way worse. The rest of the bathroom was in relatively good shape and the design of the bathroom was attractive. I would come back a little reluctantly in the Winter since the shower water wasn't cutting it for me, but I would come back in the Summer since the temp doesn't matter that much at that time or Fall when the Aspens change leaves. The mice obviously should be something to address ( whether by providing a food box OR suggesting to guests to keep their food in their cars) but it's also a legit old log cabin so it's natural to encounter critters. It's definitely like an established campground except that you have heat and a comfy bed to keep you sleeping happily through the night. Thank you for having us! I would recommend this place with the cautions that I mentioned above.

A very unique hot spring experience! We came right after dark and luckily the couple we came with had came the night before so they could navigate us through the dark. There is a path reasonably lit but when you go off that path the light is very scarce. There are two pools we went in, one which was extremely hot and the other which was comfortably warm for a long period of time. They also had a cool pool that we did not go into. After a certain point in the evening the crowd seemed to turn so we headed home after hours of enjoying the springs. We will definitely be back again and maybe shoot for late afternoon and sunset.

Beautiful hot springs, with a creek running through it. Hot springs water comes out of the ground at 145 and the pools are about 107. The creek is 45 degrees if you are brave enough to swim across. I did once and at 74 years old that was enough for me. Nice changing room, massage service available and all the pools have a great view. Lots of young people there as well as some my age. It was 20 dollars and reservations reccomend as there is not a great deal of parking at the site. We didn't have reservations and had no problem getting in. I will definitely go back.

I visited the hot springs yesterday 8/27 and it is a lovely place. However I really want to warn others about the danger of entering and exiting the pools. I slipped and fell two separate times and the second time I injured my back. I am laid up in bed and if my back is truly injured I will be considering legal action. It would be very easy to hit the head on the stone steps and have even worse injuries. There are no signs, no warning of the slick algae on the stairs, there are no rubber mats, there are very few railings. I am afraid someone older will be seriously injured and I am writing this review to warn others. Be very careful and use the limited rails as much as you can to enter and exit. It is very upsetting to me that very minimal precautions like rubber mats could eliminate this dangerous hazard. I feel frustrated and sad that this happened to me and I want to do something about it. Be safe, be careful. Also as others have mentioned, person at the front was rude and demanding, it would be nice to have a friendly kind face as the front of your business. Also no one is around in the pool area to check on guests or make sure everyone is safe and well. Would not expect such lax service and dangers at a very busy business in America. For five people and one child we paid $140 including a couple bottles of water. I expect safety and friendly customer service for the price. Maybe this is too much to ask for.

Overall I loved it. Awesome environment and everything. 3 different pools at different temperatures. The only complaint I really have is the lack of lighting. Once it gets dark they have no lights that come on, so you're basically in pitch black walking around when you get out of the springs, and there are rocky steps everywhere. You have to go extremely slow in order to not trip and break your ankles. Also I didn't realize this was a thing before I went there, but apparently it's clothing optional. Oh also the shower facilities were nice. They keep it nice and toasty in there, and the floor is even heated.

This is definitely my favorite hot springs that I've been to in Colorado. This wonderful natural hot springs nestled in the mountains of the surrounding Steamboat Springs area is both picturesque and spectacular in many ways. Come for the hot springs, massages, lodging, or all the above and enjoy the beauty this part of the state offers. Online reservation only, cash only and off grid with little to no cell signal, requiring 4x4 or AWD, as well as high clearance. Highly recommended for a remote getaway or to soak post-skiing.

What an awesome experience! At the last minute my wife found this spring online and was able to book the last available reservation, and thank god she did! It was the perfect way to relax and unwind after skiing all morning. Awesome location at the end of a windy road in the middle of the mountains. On a 20 degree day in December, this water did not fall short of the “hot” variety. They have multiple pools, each allowing the water to cool down naturally to different temperatures, so you can jump around and heat up or cool off as desired. One important recommendation, which we did not have the foresight to do…. BRING A TOWEL AND DRY CLOTHES YOU CAN PUT ON EASILY! We made the mistake of not doing that, and getting out of the water and dried off in the 20 degree shade was quite the spectacle.

The staff at this establishment are shockingly unprofessional, rude, and deeply prejudiced. It's baffling to me how these individuals retain their positions and why anyone would consider this place great. The only redeeming feature of this location is the view, but even that can be found elsewhere in Colorado without the added discomfort. Instead of enjoying the landscape, you're forced to contend with a filthy river masquerading as a "pool." The water resembles nothing more than a polluted river, akin to swimming in the Colorado or Platte River, except it's unnaturally heated. In contrast, professional pools like those at Glennwood Springs, Indian Springs, and Old Town Hot Springs boast warm, clean, and sanitized water. Swimming here is not only unpleasant but potentially hazardous. I sustained severe cuts on the bottom of my feet, likely from the sharp rocks on the bottom because this is not a swimming pool, it's literally like the bottom of any river in the mountain. Additionally, accessibility is severely lacking, with only stairs available. This poses a significant challenge for individuals with mobility issues or health concerns like bad knees, wheelchair, or high blood pressure because it's all incline or decline on a dirt road, there is no sidewalk. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a more reputable destination, like Old Town Hot Springs. Don't take my word for it; just compare the pictures online like google. While Old Town Hot Springs offers pristine waters, Strawberry's Springs presents an alarming scene of algae-ridden waterfalls. Furthermore, be prepared for muddy dirt roads, adding to the overall unpleasant experience. In conclusion, avoid this place at all costs. It's simply not worth the three-hour drive or the discomfort of navigating its inadequacies.

I used to love this place. Its still beautiful, lodging is good, springs are amazing. But they've dragged the pool reservation and mask madness out far enough. There is now no scientific reason to go into complete panic that a group of people might sit outside in a group of 7 as opposed to 6. There is no scientific reason to lose our minds at the thought of folks going maskless outside at a remote mountain campground. For a more pro-science business, check out Old Town Hot Springs in Steamboat. No reservation required, no one losing their minds that you aren't on a list. Much nicer staff, too.

Went out to Winter Park to visit a friend and had planned to visit Strawberry Hot springs. I had been in the summer and was excited to see it in the winter. We booked a reservation for 6 o’clock and quickly realized we wouldn’t make it in time (it was a 2 hour drive there) and the next available reservation time was booked. I called and spoke to Russ, who said we would still be accommodated and our two hour time slot would start whenever we were able to arrive. He also proceeded to tell us that they’ve been getting horrible reviews online and they wanted to turn that around so they’d be understanding of our poor time management. We quickly threw towels in a bag we had been using earlier in the day on the mountain and headed out. Upon arriving, we paid for our slot and had our bag searched (alcohol and outside food are not allowed). We completely forgot about the pint in the bottom and expected this employee to just ask us to take it to the car. Instead, he was incredibly rude told us to take our money back and get out. Not only was the manner of the situation handled poorly, the employee was downright rude and not even willing to let us explain and remove the alcohol from the area so we could enjoy the springs. Customer service like this is what drives business away & if you’re going to employ those who don’t enjoy their job, then you’re going to continue to have horrible reviews.

Magical! We went when it was 10 degrees outside and it felt great to be in the different temperature pools. I preferred the warm bath feeling pool to the really hot sections. Many people were doing polar swims in the cold pool and it was pretty cold the 30 seconds I tried it. The setting it beautiful and you won’t regret visiting. Cash only. Changing rooms and restrooms. Bring your own towels and probably some slippers to not get your winter boots wet.

This place is awesome, I have been maybe 7-10 times in the past couple years. It’s a magical location, so cool with the stream right by the springs! Super cool when it’s cold out! The stars!! But, went yesterday and it was completely packed. To where you could barely move in the pools. I’m all about capitalism but something is lost when you are jammed like sardines into a can in the hot springs. Don’t go on busy days maybe?

I have been coming for literally over 40 years. They’ve let some things go and not quite as well taken care of as it once was at such a unique place. I have never been where there is anything else like it. Definitely don’t want the kids there after dark, very adult. Go reset your metabolism and rejoice in the beauty. That is the natural contrast to the river. I’ve always loved the cold plunge and then back into the heat again.

This place is incredible. Rob and Paul were so friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The pools are perfectly maintained to still feel extremely natural. Campsites are spacious and well maintained with very nice grill, picnic table, and raised wooden platform. The scenery is beautiful, and this little paradise is something VERY special. I can’t wait for my next trip here. BE WARNED: Chipmunks are brazen. Bears about. I would highly advise the hike up that hill to put your food in your car at dark.

This place is a must when visiting Steamboat Springs. Be prepared to change in the cold during the winter in open enclosures that are made of rock. The change areas remind me of the Flintstones. Pack easy on/off water shoes to wear while moving from pool to pool or to the change area. Don't forget your chains during the winter months as the drive is hilly with narrow roads and muddy areas closer to the springs.

I visited with a friend who was visiting from out of town. One of the best parts of our trip exploring Colorado in the winter. Definitely need a four wheel drive. Don’t forget to bring cash for the entrance fee. I went during the day which I recommend especially for first timers. You will not be disappointed the drive up is stunning lots of wildlife. Be careful the last few miles the road is narrow and traffic runs both ways on that narrow road. If I remember correctly they do a bag check on the way in and I don’t think you can bring food in. I came with my suit on because the change area is not very private.

I brought my husband here for his birthday. I would definitely recommend booking at least 2 months ahead for a cabin. What an amazing experience. We stayed in the train caboose. It did have a shower, toilet, pull out bed, linens and kitchenette and a loft like area to shove unwanted guests that you don't want to hang out with.. What I loved most was we got to stay until midnight instead of 10pm and got the whole hot springs to ourselves. Clothing optional as well, so if that bothers you stay home. There are 5-6 hot springs pools. Some are very warm and some are like warm bath water. If you are brave enough there is a cool area for an ice bath experience. Its cold but worth the adrenaline. I'm not sure what everyone was talking about regarding a cranky old man ruining the experience in the reviews. Everyone was so kind and welcoming.

I have been to 3 different hotsprings before coming to this one and this one was by far the best. We went for the 8pm to 10pm slot on 4/13/24.We did reserve online before arriving as recommended on their website so I would definitely do that. Clothing is optional after 8pm and it's very dark by the pools so you don't have to worry about seeing anything you don't want to. Also it is cash only at $20 a person so bring cash!! Highly recommend this place.!!!

This is a natural hot spring. There are apparently a few rooms to rent but it's not a hotel and few guests stay in the rooms - I've never tried them. You don't come here for the rooms or service (shuttle service is great though). It's all about the natural beauty and unique experience and they still have that. The changing areas can get hectic - wear easy but warm clothing. Clean bathrooms but they're a bit of a walk.

This place is so cool. The hot springs were perfect after a day on the slopes. And beyond just the hot springs, there's a creek that runs right by it that you can jump into to cool off. It's quite the temperature change with the springs being above 100°F and the creek around 40°F. Highly recommend booking a shuttle to the location, as the road to it in the winter is restricted to vehicles with 4 wheel drive and/or tires with chains.

We did an evening soak on our trip over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend! It was a wonderfully therapeutic and spiritual experience even at -13 degrees! We highly recommend it! Couple of tips: wear your swimsuit under your clothes for ease of entering the pools. The pools are clothing optional, but it is very dark, so we never really saw too much or felt uncomfortable even though we opted to wear bathing suits. It’s is not lit very well. So be prepared for that. It’s also very slippery when it’s as cold as it was when we were there. So you may consider some kind of non-slip swim shoe. Also a word of caution: I don’t recommend bringing anything valuable. My debit card was stolen out of my coat pocket while we were in the pools. I had to cancel it as soon as I realized it. Luckily I noticed it early on. You will need to pay admission if you don’t book a shuttle and they do have water and snacks for purchase. I didn't see any lockers, and the changing room and bathrooms are a little bit of a walk from the pools, so plan accordingly. Overall it was a great experience and we would do it again!

Perfect outdoor hot springs experience. The bathroom is pretty clean too! Would recommend getting there before sunset, the road can be hard to drive if you’re not used to the area

Swampy, muddy, and discriminatory. This location lacks any semblance of cleanliness. The journey up the rugged terrain, punctuated by massive potholes, poses a risk to any vehicle, even those equipped with 4-wheel drive. Despite the presence of phone lines and electricity, an ATM is notably absent, as confirmed by a staff member. Be sure to bring cash for transactions. Speaking of staff, individuals may face criticism and harassment based on their weight or ethnicity. In my experience, despite a line of people both ahead and behind me, only my bag was singled out for inspection by a skinny, tall white employee with a goatee. When questioned, he unjustly asserted, "This is private property, and you can leave!" In response, I had to remind him of his obligation to involve the police if necessary, which he failed to do, likely realizing his error. Prepare for a hostile environment if you are overweight, a minority, or both, particularly near the water where selective enforcement and harassment may occur. Furthermore, the water itself is disgustingly polluted and covered in algae. What may seem picturesque in photographs is tarnished by a thick layer of algae, making every surface dangerously slippery. Sharp pebbles and boulders litter the riverbed, hidden beneath the algae-coated water. Restrooms are inconveniently distant from the water, and the return journey involves navigating a dirt road without sidewalks. The pollution is so severe that I woke up the next day with a sizable blemish under my hairline. For a superior experience, I highly recommend Old Town Hot Springs. It offers cleanliness without algae, dirt, or dust, along with friendly staff and smooth roads devoid of prejudice or harassment.

Location is definitely an adventure but it’s nothing you can’t handle just come prepared if you are visiting in the winter. The springs are nice and beautiful feels like you are in a movie or a dream especially in the winter time. The train caboose room/cabin is definitely fun and a unique experience would definitely 10/10 recommend. Staff is fun and friendly just listen to their rules and be polite. The whole experience was unique and unbelievable and would definitely recommend to anyone. Will be back yearly

We went midday and had a great time. Our three kids loved the different pools. Restrooms were clean, towels available for rent. Definitely enjoyed this stop on our trip!

This place is amazing! Always has been a place to go growing up and now going back the fall is still beautiful. Very refreshing to feel the coolness of the water, putting your feet into the water below the bridge is a must. There are sweet little chipmunks around too. Very friendly. Nice hiking trails and bring something to drink too because it's warm.

Absolutely awesome! Our special needs Daughter loved to throw a stone or two in the river over the historic Bridge. Amazing views from both the top and bottom. It's ever so worth the short hike through the mountain view trails.

We took the trail to the uranium mine. It was an excellent choice. The trail is Rocky and steep in places, especially in the beginning, but levels out significantly about 2/5 the way in. There's a good view of the falls at that point too. The vegetation changes past half, and was a delight in early September with the start of autumn. The mine entrance itself is gated off and nothing special. It took us about 90 minutes round trip, stopping for pictures and a sit down snack by the mine. The view from the mine was very good as well.

we spent a nice morning hiking around the Fish Creek trail. The trail to the lower falls is very accessible for most people! It is flat and paved. If you’d like, you can take a short walk downhill to a nice bridge that will give you a nice view from down below the falls. It is a $5 entrance fee to get to this hike.

Fish Creek Falls, Steamboat CO. 06/28 Best time to visit is early in the morning. You get the place to yourself, it's amazing, easy little hike with a big payout. Kid and family friendly.

Such a beautiful place! Even this early in the year. The trees are all still in winter mode, and there was snow in patches here and there... The lower path was closed due to the amount of snow (didn't stop several people from going there). The falls were gorgeous and full! Lots of melt going on right now! Beautiful little Glacier Lillies and a few petite gnomes someone seeded in some nooks! Great, gentle walk, too!

This place is beautiful. We went there because Hubby is in a scooter and we wanted an accessible trail. It turned out that it was perfect for the scooter. If you are in a wheelchair and pushing someone, the trail to the picnic area I think is too hard to try and push uphill. The path to the falls would be fine. Don't miss this spot, it is absolutely worth driving too.

Very peaceful place. Nice drive up. Trails are easy for fit people. If you're fat, like me, just take your time. Carefully walk up inclines backward for an easier climb. You'll enjoy it.

Why wouldn't you visit a 200 foot waterfall? There are some very nice trails for those who would like to see the falls without significant effort or for some reason, can't get to the base. If you want a more moderate hike, go to the base of the lower falls. For a three hour strenuous hike, you can go about 2 miles to the upper falls. It spectacular but arduous. Bring plenty of water and snacks!

Absolutely beautiful place! The trailer edge is a bit more steep than I feel comfortable letting my kids walk near but aside from that it was clean, not packed, and peaceful to visit

What a memorable and beautiful snow hike. Perfect for anyone who isn’t very fit but they want to get an easy hiking experience.

There was a small entry fee at the gate ($5?), which provided access to both upper and lower falls parking. Toilet houses both at trail head, and out on the trail at one point. There are a combination of paved cement, blacktop, and dirt trails for a variety of experience levels. The falls however if the most phenomenal part and can be viewed in under 0.5 miles of gentle walking (upper falls) on paved trails. The trip to the lower falls has some steeper inclines, dirt and rock laden paths, which would not be handicap accessible, but if you can handle it, the views are incomparable. From the lower falls you can access even more challenging routes if you opt to pursue.

A gorgeous stop whenever I visit Da Boat. A nice paved path to the viewing point, easy walk. The trail down to the bridge is gravel and a moderate level. I think those with difficulty walking can do it and take it slow. But spectacular views from the view point, you are just up close and personable by the bridge (bummer it was closed for us!) Great scenery all around and especially lucky with all the green trees! Beautiful pictures to be had anywhere in the park!

A beautiful trail that is a top outing in Steamboat. Easy, short walk to bottom.of falls. accessible to almost anyone. but continue past the falls and trail is steady 8 to 12 % grade and footing not great. lots of rocks and roots. pretty shady most of the 2 miles to the top of falls. another 2 miles to lake.

Beautiful and easy hike (there is wheelchair path, but I personally didn't look for it). Gorgeous falls, and you can actually get to the water just below falls if you want to. I would definitely return.

Beautiful falls located in a stunning forest. Several trails to choose from ranked easy to difficult. The easy path was paved. Picnic tables and bench rests throughout park. Parking is minimal. Self-pay posts for entry fees ($5).

Fantastic ski resort nestled way back in the Rocky Mountains. Always plenty of snow and lots to choose from regardless of whether you are a bunny, slope, beginner or double black, diamond skier, you will find it here. Plenty of air, B&Bs surrounding the resort and places to eat. If it’s lessons you want they have that as well. This was the first ski resort that I have ever been to, and loved it so much that we moved to Colorado and tried all the other resorts, but still came back to the boat.

I was just here at the end of February and beginning of March and it was AWESOME! The snow was actually pretty nice and soft, the runs were nice and long and had an AMAZING view of the mountains, and the chairlift lines were actually not too long. The ski school instructors also all seemed very supportive and kind to their students.

If you are an experienced skier, this is the place to go! They have a great variety of intermediate and above runs. Not as big as other places like Copper, but still good. If you are a beginner, know there is a limited amount of beginner runs and many are traverse style runs that are more narrow, road like than wide open green runs you can spread out on. That was my only disappointment for my kids. The beginner runs at steamboat didn't hold a candle to the wide open, long greens at so many other resorts where the kids can really work their turns across an entire run. The beginner lift area is again a relatively small, narrow set of runs. That said, the instructors are top notch, so even if you do come know the kids will have amazing instructors. The only other downside I noticed when compared to other resorts is the lift signage. Very hard to tell what lift you are coming up to until you are pretty much in the lift line, unlike others where the name is prominent and large on the lift canopy.

We enjoyed the last "Happy Hour" gondola ride for the season to the top with live music. There is a nice easy hiking trail. Food and drinks available also.

Absolutely great mountain to ski/snowboard. It's one of the best in the country. There's a 3000 foot elevation change from the base of the ski resort to the peak. Try to avoid coming on a holiday weekend, because it was jam packed. There are lots of different places to take a break on the slopes, most of which have food and a bar (but very expensive). If you have the money, it's totally worth it. Also, if you plan to stay more than just a couple of days, getting the ikon pass might be worth your while.

Top ski resort. There are plenty of skiing options for all skill levels. There are hardly any wait lines at the lifts. Very friendly staff all over the mountain. Good ski resort dining options. Very expensive tickets at peak season, close to $300 a person.

Steamboat is the gold standard for US ski resorts. It has enough altitude and location to get great snow and has a massively developed resort to ensure there are hills for all levels of skiing. This is known as Ski Town USA for a reason. The hill is a short free bus ride from anywhere, there are plenty of hotels to choose from, and the vibe is incredible. If you have an Icon pass the this is a must. My favorite ski hill

Great Ski Resort!! It felt like a private mountain. Not crowded on January. Family friendly and all the gondolas are almost brand new. Excellent facilities and lunch areas to hang out and eat. Many many routes to choose depending on your level.

Returned to Steamboat for the first time in about 25 years, and it was just as great this time as it was back then. This is an outstanding resort for intermediate / advanced level skiers as well as for skiers who love skiing in the trees. Steamboat is known for its amazing tree skiing, and it doesn't disappoint. This resort does lack in expert terrain, and the expert terrain it does have is kind of a pain to get to. You need to ride two lifts to access all of Steamboat's toughest runs, so keep that in mind if you're looking at this resort and want to primarily ski on expert terrain.

Steamboat provided a wonderful Colorado ski experience. It was busy when we were there but Steamboat excels at efficiently getting people on the gondola or chairlift and up the mountain. Some resorts don’t seem to train staff on this like Steamboat does. All of the workers were so nice and seemed happy to be there. It was also quick and efficient to check in your skis at the end of the day at the base so you don’t have to carry them with you back to your condo. The overall “vibe” was fun and friendly both on the mountain and at the base. Plenty of areas to sit and warm up on the mountain, or take a seat by one of the outdoor fireplaces at the base. The skiing was a good fit for everyone in our group from beginner to expert adult skiers. The resort is situated in the adorable town of Steamboat Springs, which isn’t too large but does have all of the necessities.

Love the view in the 2nd Floor of the Cafe-Bar. The server was nice, but they had the capuchino machine out of service in the opening day.

Had such a wonderful experience here. Snow was great and the facility is fantastic. New gondola is a wow! Met such a great Ambassador named Wolf, super nice and gave us helpful advise on where to go. He even told us where to spot Powder the Mtn Dog! Yes, please! Thank you all!

Beautiful town, great mountain and a special shout out to every single employee we encountered. Very pleasant, helpful and just a delight. Fantastic restaurants and bars. The 4 stars (instead of 5) are due to the overcrowded lift lines and the HIGH cost of everything. Travel tip: (wish we had known) If you want to experience the Stawberry Hot Springs you need to make a reservation 1-2 MONTHS in advance. Also I would recommend flying in on a Sat. Get some very cheap (and actually FREE on Sunday) practice runs in at the ski training mountain in Howelsen park Then ski Steamboat on Mon, Tuesday when it's not so busy.

First-timer here at the boat. Lot's of mountain for all skill levels and some wide open spaces in case it gets crowded, you can still blaze your own path undisturbed. 3 hours from Denver with clear roads and no traffic. Well worth the drive.

This was my first time here at Steamboat. This mountain is a blast we had perfect weather for 3 days in a row. The trees 🎄 did not disappoint, we crushed them! I highly recommend this mountain! 👍 The town is cool 😎 too. Lastly, the airport is about a half hour.

Been coming here for 40 years! This resort is Colorado at its best. Deep powder days are always had and the mountain staff are cheerful and glad to see you back in town!

Absolutely in love with this place, 23 lifts and more than 170 trails. Steamboat is so beautiful. I recommend to stop by the Info Center to get a maps. Do some research of what trails you want to ride before hopping on lifts. There are two free parking lots (Meadow parking and upper Knoll parking). Knoll parking gets full really early especially during peak season. Meadow parking offers free shuttle from the parking to the ski resort. There are bus red line and blue line are available for people to travel from Meadow parking to the resort.

This ski resort is amazing, with fantastic views, amenities, and restaurants. The resort was within a 10 minute walk of the lodge we stayed at. The resort has plenty of gear rentals, and we did private lessons the first day since my sister and I had never skiied before. Our instructor Ella was so kind and gave us the confidence to work our way up to harder and longer slopes! By the third day we could do a 3 mile slope! There are gondolas and lifts, which is very nice. Your ski pass is also good for non-consecutive days, so if you need a day to rest over your trip you can. There are hot coco stations and fireplaces around the resort to recharge! There's also ice skating!

Great mix of both groomed and deep powdery snow! Love the gondolas!!! And the fellas who load your gear!!! What an amazing experience. Will definitely try to use my 4 remaining allotted days. So happy I finally came to check it out!!

The Yampa River Botanic Park is a hidden gemstone in Steamboat. It's a great way to see wildlife and learn about Colorado's native plants. It takes about 60-90 minutes to see everything in the park and the best part is that it is free to enter. A minimal donation is recommended and there are secure vending machines throughout the park if you would like to pay with cash or card. The donations help with the upkeep of the park and keeping it accessible and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Best deal in town. We hit it a little past peak, but it was still quite impressive. I could see how it could be a quiet place of zen on a Sunday morning. It was larger than I expected, so it was unfortunate that we didn't have the time to spend to see it all. Plenty of parking, but a bit of a walk from there, and no restrooms that we saw. Although there are some located near the ball fields.

Entered this very beautiful botanical park from our walk off of the Yampa River Core Trail. Very whimsical place with wonderful flagstone paths, Peter's pond, whispering brooks, and metal statues. Enjoyed wandering through the different neighborhoods with native colorful flowers, cotton wood /aspen trees, and rock gardens. Benches located throughout park to sit, visit and admire the water lilies or Emerald mountain. They also have an Osprey Eagle nest observation area - during the summer you might see a family of these magnificient birds nesting their young. Will definitely revisit this relaxing park in the future.

We love hiking when we’re in Steamboat, and walking along the Yampa May not be a strenuous activity, but it certainly is relaxing to take in the sights. The Botanical garden is a must see; it’s free and quite breathtaking right off the river path. They have restrooms as well, which makes for a nice family spot to take a break.

What a hidden gem! It's a beautifully curated small botanic park right along the river. You can bike right up to the beautiful gates. Absolutely worth a visit if you are looking for a stroll in Steamboat Springs.

This was our first stop when arriving in Steamboat. It was perfect to stretch and walk after being in the car all morning. It's not as large as the map makes it seem, like you might not have time to walk it, but we did, easily. It was very serene! We enjoyed all the different scents of flowers, trees, and plants. I found a few interesting ones I would like to put in at home. Donations are needed to keep it going. Dogs aren't allowed so maybe bring a cat!

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous there was plenty of room for people to hangout and chill. The cards were very informative on the plant species and the water features were beautiful. You can definitely tell that people try and work very hard to keep a place so beautiful for the public. I recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone even if nature is not your thing.

This beautiful preserve is just off the highway, but feels like a place miles away from bustle and noise. Parking is a short distance from the park, but the path to the park is level and well maintained. Inside you’ll find winding paths, gorgeous flowers and trees, fountains, and sculptures. The park is free and maintained in part by volunteers. There is a donation box for those who would like to contribute to park upkeep.

Beautiful community garden - amazing variety of wild flowers and carefully kept gardens. The crevice garden is particularly cool!

I always make sure to stop by Yampa River Botanic park whenever I’m in Steamboat. This place is absolutely magical. The gardeners have done an amazing job curating this space. I would recommend at least 2-3 hours here. It’s a great place for a picnic and admission is free!

Ventured out to this beautiful garden today to watch Beth Blaskovich play piano. We walked around after and the gardens are so well kept. It’s a nice stroll of non stop birds, little animals, beautiful trees and flowers. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

I have visited Steamboat springs a number of times, but this was my first time visiting Botanic park. It helped that we visited when Colorado is blooming, whether in gardens or wildflowers. This place is delightful, well laid out. It invites you to visit the nooks and cranies, with a pleasant surprise hidden, more likely in plain view; but you just couldn't see it till you turn the corner. It has areas to spend time with family, benches with flowers and landscaped flower beds galore.

Absolutely Amazing. Beautiful summer day with live music. Apple Pie Order played a morning concert on the green. The Botanicals were fabulous and everyone was very kind and friendly. I uploaded a few photos, but I honestly took over hundred images.

Visiting late in the season, but still beautiful. Very well maintained. Many benches to sit and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness.

As others have said here: terrible customer service. Avoid this place. I had a bad experience there a few days ago where I encountered what was for me an unprecedented amount of friction in doing a return. Laziness? Incompetence? Anything to hold onto $20? You decide. I went to return something my brother bought, and an older gentleman informed me that it was not possible without the credit card used to make the purchase. I didn't have my brother's card on me. He couldn't put it back on the card or give me cash, but he suggested I look around for something else I want and do an exchange. Inconvenient for sure, but I suppose not unheard of. A younger male employee asked me if it was purchased as a gift, and I told him that I don't know. He then asked in a condescending tone, "So, you bought this and you don't know if you made it a gift purchase?" I reminded him that I didn't buy it. I left and shortly returned with the credit card number in hand. The older employee again told me me that it was impossible without the actual card because it needed to be swiped. I said that surely there must be a way to just enter in a card number -- what if a card's magstripe is degraded or the card reader is acting up? He finally relented and said that it was indeed possible, but that it sure would be inconvenient for me because I'd have to give him "a whole lot of personal information". He again tried to get me to just do an exchange instead. I declined. He made an honest effort for a while but was unable to figure out how to work the point-of-sale, so a female employee helped. The "personal information" I had to give was equivalent to what you'd provide when making an order from any online retailer. Credit card and billing info -- very routine.. When she too was unable to get me to make an exchange and finally got down to business, it only took a few minutes. But not without another jab at the end: "Well, that was the hardest we've had to work to refund $20. An exchange would have been a lot easier, don't you think?" She seriously said that. I told them to have a nice day as I left, but they didn't return the custom. Hilarious.

So I went to go buy a flask... my card wouldn't swipe, the guy goes, do you have another card or cash? No I don't. Well do you wanna run to the ATM?? No I don't, can you not manually type the card numbers in? I can. But I'm not gonna take the time to do it, we are about to get a rush... Ended up leaving without the flask. Terrible customer service. There were 2 cashiers, and I'm sure the manager was somewhere in the store.

This place is the bomb! You forgot it at home - they have it here. Prices are pretty typical resort prices - but hey, it's vacation right?! Lady that helped me was cool and friendly.

Great management and the staff are amazing! Best souvenir shop in Steamboat Springs for all the family and friends.

What a great place to watch local hockey, bring the family, and just relax . Everything is clean and well-maintained. Only just wish the snacks were vendable and accessible. Both times I’ve been here no one was at the desk and I couldn’t get the snack. So bring your own snacks I guess.

The city removed public access to helmets. I'm not sure why they would make the ice skating experience more dangerous. It would be nice if they would provide the option of free helmets to save lives.

The family did the bumper cars on ice. It was a lot of fun. The workers were very accommodating. We would come back again.

Kids and adults had so much fun doing the ice bumper cars. Those of us who didn't participate had fun watching from the bleachers and taking pictures. Short lived but totally worth it for our group.

My group was skeptical about coming here, but it was the FUNNEST thing we did on our entire trip! We did the ice bumper cars. The place was deserted in the middle of the day, it was AWESOME. It was worth every penny, everyone in our group agreed! We played tag, raced each other, and tried to see who could spin the fastest. You can ice skate AND do the bumper cars for 20 minutes for just $20, and they have jackets there- but I would totally wear an extra sweater and bring an extra jacket because it was seriously cold in there. I mean, it's an ice arena, so you should expect that. A great way to beat the heat in the summer!

Went with the family to do the bumper ice boats. It was a great time and an easy way to keep everyone busy and entertained for an hour. Appropriate for most, ages 8-65. Younger kids may have trouble driving, but they allow a parent or older sibling to be in the car to help. Older folks may note like the bumping. The cars can bump hard at times, so heads up.

It was fun, though be sure you check the online calendar for the times they are OPEN TO PUBLIC. We rented all our gear only to have the place shut down around us less than an hour later because they had to prep for high school hockey practice. The ice skating and bumper cars share the ice space, divided by cones, traditional hockey arena size. They have the little walkers for the kids to use when skating. A little snack bar up front.

Super friendly staff! Kids loved it! Prices were very reasonable! We will be going back tomorrow, it was that much fun for the kids!

Are you an adult who is questioning if the bumper skating will be a fun activity worth the money? DO IT. Not sure how many other times I’d have the chance to try this in life, and I’m so glad I did!

This was my 2nd visit and I brought friends and family. I like it, it is $6 for non residents. I think it is worth it. They do make you wear masks.

If you like history, then this is a must stop. It won't take you long to go through. It cost me $6. For its size, it was packed full of wonderful information, maps, pictures, and artifacts. You will get a great perspective of how this past of the country came to be. If you go on a Thursday you can meet Suzanne... what a delightful person to have as the person who introduced us to the museum...Don't miss this!

I have worked here for a few years, I love everything about it!

We came for the unique history but we stayed for the antique hair wreaths. Really interesting background about the valley and resort. And upstairs you can listen to one of the Powder River Gang members chat about how he doesn't like to be touched. I get it. I mean, ask first if you can cop a touch, right? Overall a great place that the community rightly and proudly supports.

Very interesting. Has history of early settlers. Ski history. I always enjoy old photos from 1900's. We spent an hour or so. Be sure to.go upstairs, rifles and an amazing bear trap. Early kitchen stove was something!

I thought they have done a wonderful job of displaying and sharing the local history and the life of early settlers. There is a little room for kids to explore hands on and my young children loved it. The museum was tough but enjoyable with my almost 3 year old, but not great for younger kids. We were glad we went.

Perfect for the family!! We had smaller children and the Ski resort prices were outrageous so we opted for the locals spot! There's plenty for all levels of skiers. Even a slide hill. Our kids enjoyed it everyday! Very short walk to the parking lot!

Went for ski free Sunday and it was such a nice local ski hill. The vibe is definitely that of a close knit community of folks who love being there making it run and enjoying it. Snack bar had tons of food and drinks, and they have guys you can rent out as well. The trails are plenty of fun to hone your skills and generally have a blast. Gorgeous views to boot. I got to ride the new lift on it's first day in operation, so that was a cool bonus. Definitely worth a visit to get a piece of the history of skiing in the US AND put down some laps!

Nice place to visit. Tubing was fun and reasonable. Enjoyed that it used to be not over crowded here and my daughter was able to teach my grandson how to snowboard. Food is ok. A warmed up hot dog in the microwave and chips.

If you are staying in Steamboat Springs don't miss this gem for skiing. The skiing is wonderful. The staff is outstanding and it is a wonderful buy. We did the warming huts which allowed our group to store our equipment and get warm when we needed a break. There is plenty free parking and you can't beat the price of a lift ticket.

Great hill for learning! We took our 3 kids on a Sunday free day, and they had a great time. We didn't even use any of the lifts yet. We look forward to going back and trying more of the terrain.

So glad I could this place to snowboard at. Pocketbook friendly and less crowded. I came here before for tubing down the hill but have now experienced the snowboarding part of it too. They have a small snack shack at the bottom of the hill. The first time we came for tubing, there was a storm that came through with snow and lightning and we took shelter in the lodge/Cafe. Not as long or as many routes to choose from, but they have some challenging slopes and other activities such as the slalom that can be done here. There are also cute mini cabins that you can rent out to have your own private area to store your belongings or eat nd take breaks from the slopes. Very friendly service here both times we have visited.

Interesting to see ski area. I bet when it's in action with skiers using the jumps and is covered in snow would be a site to see or actually participate on it.

Such a great place to learn to ski! Brought my son and my fiance whose first time it was going skiing. The staff was friendly, prices are affordable and the tubing was awesome also! Can’t wait to come back!

Personally, I had more fun here than I did at Steamboat. (And it was free on Sunday!)

This was a great experience for my kids (9 ask 12). Free skiing on Sundays was a great way to be welcomed to Steamboat. We had just arrived in town and picked up gear. It was so easy to park. We spent 3 days skiing here and accommodated all skill levels. It was a perfect size for us. The other days costs about $50/day. We even saw an international downhill competition here one night.

Very beautiful scenery! What part of the Rockies isn’t. We camped at summit lake campground and one other place. It was nice to fish in a few lakes. We did some hiking on the Continental divide and saw some great mountain peaks.

Just like in the movies! Campgrounds we’re awesome, and the mountains were so different than ones I’ve ever seen!

May 24 2021 most roads were clear. Road100 became impassable following from Buffalo park north.Lots of fun !

Beautiful forest to explore, parts quite easy to access in a 2WD and you can hike from there. Absolutely worth the visit if you’re in the Steamboat area.

One of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Rockies is a popular hiking destination in the Route National Forest/ Mt. Zirkel Wilderness. Gilpin Lake lies just below theContinental Divide on the “Zirkel Circle” hiking trail accessed from Slavonia trail head in the Elk River Valley. I have visited here numerous times and always am certain that is the most beautiful natural lake that I have seen. Other great hikes in the area take one to Mica Lake, Gold Creek Lake, Three Island Lake, Jonah Lake, Fishhook, and Summit Lake. All are great day hike destinations in the Route National Forest.

Hiked the Mica Lake trail this past July was a wonderful experience Lots of solitude on the way up and had the Lake to myself. Would recommend an early start no later than 8 am to avoid other parties as I hit three parties on the way down between 12-1

Lots of hidden beautiful spots throughout this forest, some of our favorite of all around Colorado...You can always count on finding a good place to make camp, if you look at things in just the right way in order to spot the Hidden Spots along the highways and the byways and the meadows and the hollows, the mountain you are crossing and then the one that surely follows...and if you feel the Soul of this Land it may just touch your Heart and take your hand. Then perhaps Rest your self after the journey of mile upon mile so then to Go with Peace and always find your Peace and share that Peace as well as a Smile! And don't forget to Spread Some Love of your own, because even in the smallest and unlikeliest and weirdest ways in the calm and quiet quirky corners of the blossoming "googluniverse" such as this you can maybe bring some of that Love which You Do the Special and Beautiful Way That You Know You Can Do. And Five Stars For Every Forest! ♡♡♡♡♡

Amazing trip from Sep 10-13. Enjoyed the fresh snow, babbling brooks, and majestic peaks that make up the wilderness.

Love the hike! You’ll see lots of wild flowers along the way. There are several river crossings but you can stay dry if you use the log bridge. There’s several waterfalls that vary in size and the trail is mostly along the river. It might get a little challenging to some because it get steep uphill close to Gold Creek Lake but it’s so worth it.

This was one of my first long backpacking trips and it is still one of my favorites. Lake Katherine is one of the clearest lakes that I have seen and the whole hike is amazing definitely consider coming here. You wot regret it.

Beautiful warm fall weather with changing colors

We had a great stay with Steamboat Lodging Company! Our condo was excellent, the service was great (especially the shuttle drivers- thank you!), and the one small maintenance issue we had was addressed quickly. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Snowflower 311 with Steamboat Lodging Company in late July and I can't say enough about this company. They were in touch with us before, during, and after the stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. Check in and out was seamless and very easy. The condo felt very clean & updated and also had nice towels, sheets, beds, kitchen amenities, etc. We've stayed at other places and with other companies in Steamboat and won't do that again after staying with Steamboat Lodging Company. Their team is top-notch and my family will only book with them in the future!

Our crew really enjoyed this three level townhouse that was cozy and perfect for our group that wanted their own level to sleep. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook. The location was ideal when we didn’t want to cook - fantastic restaurants just a step away. The great room was a perfect hangout and the kitchen nook was generous in size to fit our entire group and two guests. Steamboat Lodging was very accommodating to us. We highly recommend this place and friendly rental agency!

Twe stayed at the Gondola house in steamboat and it was perfect for our vacation. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms as we were traveling with some people from my sons soccer team. The management company was friendly, helpful, and even left snacks and a good luck message for the boys in the team. Everything was perfect.

Very nice and rustic setting, in a peaceful and tranquil location. Very damp smell upon check in throughout entire house. Windows where closed and fans where set up, which just circulated the dampness inside the house. The next surprise happened in the morning after check in, when we realized that there was no hot running water in the unit. Technician was on hand quickly to fix it, after we had all taken cold showers. The next surprise was cooking in the unit. Once we prepared all food that we wanted to cook on day 2, we discovered that there was not sufficient gas coming trough the gas line, i.e. the gas flame was way too small to cook on it. Again, the technician came relatively quickly to try to fix the issue, which took several hours. Things like bad small, hot water, no gas need to be addressed before check in and not during. The next surprise came when we looked at the forest right behind the terrace and we found that there was trash on the ground which was probably from previous tenants. This could have been an amazing weekend getaway, would these issues have been addressed by the management company in advance of our stay, not during, which turned into a very disruptive and disappointing stay.

Our first trip to Steamboat Springs was amazing, and we picked the most incredible place to stay in Downtown. Cannot say enough goods things about the place, starting with the great communication and detail instructions that made check in a breeze. The unit is fantastic, including a well equipped kitchen with pots and pans you're not afraid to use (unlike most places), a full size washer and dryer, a comfy bed and plenty of room to relax. Throw in a reserved parking spot in a secure garage - what more do you need? The location is perfect in downtown Steamboat - with great food, drinks and shopping just steps away. Can't wait to return - thanks much!

The house was amazing and we loved the number of bedrooms with king size beds! The shuttle service far exceeded expectations! The response for the couple of things that needed servicing also far exceeded expectations; with same day repairs! We cannot thank you enough! We would definitely use Steamboat Lodging Company every time we can.

The house we stayed in was really great! It was new, well kept, and had everything we needed. Also, the shuttle was convenient and a great service/amenity that took us to the mountain, into town, and to run a few errands. And all of the drivers were extremely nice, respectful, and gave us helpful tips. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

Howelsen Place A 302 in downtown Steamboat is just right! Loved the size and how clean it was. Excellent quality towels and sheets. Very comfortable! Will be back for sure. Thank you Steamboat Lodging Company. You made it all very easy!

What a hidden gem. Right off of Lincoln but if you're not looking for it you'll miss it. It wasn't too humid today so the boardwalk walk was pleasant. I can imagine it being miserable with bugs on a hot sticky day (the boardwalk is built over wetlands on the edge of the Yampa river).

A beautiful, peaceful, and stroller-friendly trail to take in the scenery.

Accessible beauty This is a great pulloff from the Yampa River Core Trail - this gravel & boardwalk path meanders through the wetlands along the River. Even one pushing a stroller or using a wheelchair can feel miles away from the nearby parking lot. Park benches strategically placed for rest or meditation as you slow down to observe the scenery & wildlife. Only downer is that there is no restroom in the area

The boardwalk is an elevated path through the wetlands along the Yampa River. There are a few river overlooks. Today I saw trout spawning and Osprey and Belted Kingfishers catching fish. You can ride your bike on the boardwalk. There's a shelter at the beginning of the boardwalk.

Great beer. Nice mountain views. The rooftop area is nice. Liked all the beers we had. Really loved the birthday cake stout and guava sour. My husband loved his IPA flight. Would definitely come back. The staff was so friendly and helpful when picking out beers

Beautiful facility these guys have here in Steamboat. Beer menu is solid and if I weren't in a hurry I'd probably find a few I would like much better than the two I tried, but still getting five stars.

Hands down, a MUST VISIT when in Steamboat. Easily one of my top favorite breweries in Colorado. I love this place. Nice selection of GOOD beer for every persons palate. Large seating inside, picnic tables and large area on the patio, plus seating upstairs. Will always be back every time I visit Da Boat! Thanks for making excellent beer!

Casual brewery with sunshine & the best beers in Steamboat Springs. No kitchen but pizza place attached. Pizza was way dripping oil, but I think it was a one-off by the looks of other peoples pizza.

I enjoy stopping by here when we’re in town. It’s a fun industrial brewery that allows dogs! Great beer, and expanding because the patrons love it. The patio is great in the summer and the new roof deck is a cool addition for this growing business. I love that there’s a pizza place next door to get food as well.

Great brewery in Steamboat serving a variety of microbrews, ranging from IPAs to stouts to sours. Really enjoyed the Chowder hazy IPA as well the hoochie mama sour. Friendly staff

Great brewery and super kid friendly (had root beers for the boys so we could all relax with a "beer" after our hiking this morning). Beautiful open air place, super chill, and the pizza next door smelled pretty amazing!

In the opinion of someone that enjoys a “tasteful beer” this is the best, be it a little out from main tourists area, a hidden gem of what craft brewing is and should be. Does not serve food, no problem, connected access to a pizza restaurant order your food and it will be delivered. The tap room has ample seating with the brewing and canning at the rear, in winter dress accordingly.

Visited a couple of days ago mid week/day. They were not too busy, tried a selection of beers which were great and well balanced.

DEFINITELY worth a stop. A Brewery without the elitist feel. Amazing beer, good food from nearby restaurants, intelligent conversation with other enthusiasts We've been here before, this time we stopped before even checking into the resort. Love every visit. Find a fave every time.

What an amazing experience! Maureen and Pete took great care of our international group, 5 of whom had never even held a gun before. We had safety instruction first and then hit the range... everyone had a successful morning! We had 3 days of activities in steamboat and this was hands down everyone's favorite activity!

Wow... what an experience!!! Maureen was not only the host but an incredibly experienced instructor. Our time of abt 3 hours was educational and exciting at the same time. The property is like no other 360° views of amazing mountain tops. Maureen thank you again for Sharing your land and knowledge w/ us New Yorkers ... see you next year !! M, V & C

We came here for part of a Bachelor Party and enjoyed every minute of it! The views are amazing and the SC course was fantastic. Lots of fun! Thank you Maureen for the awesome experience and great hospitality!

We spent the afternoon with Maureen learning how to shoot as well as gun safety. It was the highlight of our trip! The views were beautiful, we learned a lot, and had a great time!! We will definitely be back anytime we return to Steamboat. Thank you Maureen!

It was my first time & I never thought I’d be able to shoot a clay but I was able to with Maureen’s instruction! It was so fun, she’s a great teacher!

Maureen- you rock!!! We had a great time there. Maureen was our teacher for shotgun-skeet shooting. Ive been shooting for years but was rusty and she got me back up to speed and my wife who had never shot anything before learned a lot, had a great time and now can't wait to go bird hunting LOL. it was a great time and I'd recommend it to anyone, couples, kids , anyone. she knows her stuff and has such a great way of teaching that you just have a ball. We were in Steamboat for a week and did much of the typical tourist things but by far, me and my wife had the most fun there. I only wish we did it earlier so we could have done it again before we left. Don't put it off, go there! you will enjoy it for sure.

This was pricey and the staff was not very friendly. The course was fine but nothing special. We rented out the local ice skating ring for over an hour which included ice skating and ice bumper boats for considerably less money than miniature golf. The local rodeo was a lot of fun and less for dinner and the rodeo. I suggest doing those instead.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and it was a great place to have some family fun. The water balls were so funny - I couldn't stop laughing and I wasn't even participating in this one. The maze was super fun - definitely something different to do.

The kids had a blast! Very happy with the Groupon deal we got for this location. Some of the games and activities are aging but overall the kids had a blast.

This place is so much fun!!! My kids, 4 and 1 and a half, love the mini golf and gold panning. I had a blast doing the mini golf with other adults too. Definitely recommend.

We played miniature golf and enjoyed being there. The course was challenging but not too difficult.

The maze was very tricky and fun, it was easy to get turned around. The mini golf course was very creative and challenging with hilly terrain.

We had a lot of fun on our down day in Steamboat Springs. The family loved the mini golf course and the kids had a great time in the maze. We'll definitely go back when we visit this town again. 5/5 would recommend.

I liked this place. The mini golf and maze are the best! Everything that we played here was fun, but I have to take off 1 star because the equipment is getting dated. This basketball shot (called shoot and spray. You get sprayed with water if you lose against someone.) was fun, when it was working properly. Overall, this is a fun place. A little pricey for the age of the equipment, but still fun.

We had such a great time here on our vacay…we did the mini golf which was super fun and the greens were very well maintained. And we did the gemstone panning. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but my boys (ages 7, 11, and 13) LOVED it. They all wanted to go back and do it again the next day! Thank you guys!

The golf course was surprisingly tough but a fun challenge. The staff is friendly (always a plus). The maze looks like a blast for kids

We literally spent the entire day here. Our family had an absolute blast!! From the mini golf, pinning for gems, running the maze 3x, the water fight and basketball hoop competition with a surprise ending. The day pass was way more than worth it!!! Love this place!
