Perfect for families and friends to hang out catch the views and see some surfing as well. Food is decent but sure it could be better off the pier and cheaper. However you can miss the views especially sunrise

Westgate Pier is a wonderful experience. The pier has various restaurants, bars, and gift shops. Eat and drink overlooking the beach ⛱️ and ocean. Excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Nice beach vibes! Play on the sand and ocean and enjoy good food. I highly recommend Westgate Pier as a vacation destination. 🤗😊😃👍

Best day ever! Weather was great! Sat at the bar &grill quickly, waiter got our drinks fast (although we asked for light ice.. still great) , food came quick and tasted awesome! A bit on the pricy side, but for a date with the hubby, it was worth it! We had the crab and shrimp dip. The bowl of clams, and the coconut shrimp. It totaled about 54 before taxes so like I said, not too bad for where we were. I totally recommend!

It’s a nice pier to go to. We went during Memorial Day weekend. Fairly busy. Lots of food options on the pier. Restrooms on the pier as well. You can also watch the surfers by the pier. Good views of Kennedy Space Center from the pier Coaches..

Those who try to enter the pier after 7pm will be held to wait for an hour before allowed entry. There was a long line. I have no idea why. We had been there earlier in the day with easy entry.

Very nice pier. Free parking. A few gift shops. A couple of restaurants. First one is in an open area of the pier but covered. A great view of the beach, looking south.

A few dining options and a small gift shop. Parking lot is pay to enter. Food and drinks are reasonable at the restaurant but are often crowded on the weekend and have slower service. This summer the seaweed on the Florida coast is out of control. The fun of playing in the ocean and on the beach is greatly diminished by the quantity it rough seaweed.

The pier is home to many memories for a lot of locals and visitors alike. Once it was just a pier, unruly and full of fishermen and kids. It has in recent years been "gentrified" into what I might call a "family-fun-food experience." The food is much improved in 2023, and the Hawaiian ice shop has expanded and is a big draw. There are...hold on, let me count...3 or 4 bars, all under the same management and dependant on weather. The tiki hut at the end, the outside in the wall with tables around, and the one that's been there since the old days, under a roof but open to the elements after the ramp It's changed a lot over the years, but the changes make it an easy place to relax. Very rarely are there "drunks" making a scene. There are no televisions (mercifully, please never change that) so loud game days happen elsewhere. And a large percentage of the customers are just passing through on their way to a cruise or other Florida fun. The staff is all well trained and unlike many (many) other local places, they all seem happy to be there. At least they are professional and don't air kitchen/bar complaints and gossip. They know the locals, very many by name. Myself included. As a person living locally I walk there about three times a week to absorb other people's vacation positivity. I have met many interesting people and had many conversations with people I will never see again, but that's the transient nature of a destination beach town. It's the charm of the Pier. P.S. I've lost a couple of pairs of glasses to the strong winds out there, so batten down the hatches!

My Husband and I visited Cocoa Beach Pier with our boys during Spring Break 2023 to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We had such a good time and the most perfect weather from sunrise to the evening when we finally left. Parking fee was reasonable for the day. It seemed like a magical place because everyone we met there also were happy and enjoying themselves. We will definitely come back. Although we didn’t go to the Tiki bar, because we brought a picnic, we did venture up and around the store to get a higher view. I miss this place already!

Nice pier with a few places to eat and shop. Kept clean and has nice benches if your not eating or drinking. Plenty of security which is good. 4 stars because it’s more crowded then most places.

Access to the pier is free but you will pay for parking. There are a few restaurants located at the entrance to the pier and along the pier itself. The tables along the pier are first-come first-serve dedicated to the restaurants and there were only a couple of benches where the general public could sit. There is a super cute tiki bar at the very end of the pier.

I like all the improvements they have made over the years. Fun place for families. Surfing 🏄‍♂️ 🌊 🏄‍♀️ the waves. Excellent restaurants with delicious meals and drinks at reasonable prices. A must-see on your travel list. 🤗😊

This was a beautiful pier. Our issue was that the security guard was extremely rude! To not only us, but we observed him being rude to others too. No Bueno. Also was frustrated that they closed the bar super early because "nobody was there", in their words. Disappointing. All of the shops were closed too. Would've loved to have spent more time here, but... oh well.

Cocoa Beach is short drive and a nice getaway from the typical Orlando family vacation. The pier is a nice spot to watch surfers, volleyball or rockets launching from Cape Canaveral. Has some gift shops a couple bars and places to grab some food.

Pier has a lot to offer, restaurants, gift shops, benches to sit and watch the waves, surf lessons and just great place to take a walk. Enjoy.

What a wonderful oceanfront park situated on "I Dream of Jeannie Lane" between Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach on A1A . There is public beach access via a wood boardwalk. The 1,000’ boardwalk itself is amazing The park offers restroom facilities with outdoor showers, 3 pavilions with grills and picnic tables, 6 dune crossovers, and playground on the north side. On the south end there is a fenced in doggie park where you can let your pet run free and play. The palm lined parking lot is free. What a great place to spend an afternoon, have a picnic and spend some time on the beach. "Did I mention its free".

Really beautiful entryway to the beach. Free parking as well since it's a public park, there's also a dog park located at the entrance of this park! It's really beautiful here and most of the time not very crowded especially during the week. It also has kind of a trail tucked in the back and has covered picnic tables along the walkway it's really cool and you could view the rocket launches here.

Nice scenic beach park. Free parking with an overflow lot (which was beginning to fill before noon on a Wednesday in late March). Proper restroom and shower facilities. Plenty of room to spread out once on the beach. Worth the drive from Orlando but get there early if you do.

Beautiful park. Ocean view is perfect. Nice walk ways made from 8x8 pressure treated main posts and composite deck boards . There are atleast two parking lots. There is a dog park here also. There is at least one restroom but think there is more.

Love this place. It can be hard to find parking, but there are 2 parking lots so a space will pop up between the two. The park can get crowded, but not overcrowded. Decently clean beach too. And last time we were there, we had a little buddy throwing sand on our blanket 😂

Plenty of free parking. There’s a public bathroom and showers to rinse off before getting into your car. Beautiful views, short walk from parking lot to beach. Definitely worth it to check out this beautiful park.

Nice access to the beach area. There are bathrooms, a boardwalk, with a gazebo, decent amount of parking at one end there's a dog park- fenced in area. There's also a nature trail maybe half an acre all on boardwalks. The gazebos are less reclusive now, they redid All of the boards on the boardwalks about 2 years ago.

Excellent place to access Cocoa Beach. Parking is great, facilities for washroom and changing need some care and upkeep or cleaning daily and frequently. Great beach chair and umbrella rentals thx to Marcus! Wonderful time

I still remember the day I met my husband on this beach. The stars shine so bright here just before dawn and it’s the greatest sunrise view. I love coming here when I need some space or a swim, it’s therapeutic and relaxing. It’s honestly the best park/beach in cocoa beach.

I went here on a Saturday before noon. There was still some parking available. All parking is free here. There are bathrooms, water fountain, area to spray /shower off the sand outside. There were plenty of lifeguards on duty today. The beach itself was clean and easily accessible with the wooden walkway from the parking lot. Waves were low today. Not too crowded. There was an option to rent a couple of chairs with umbrella for $30 for the whole day. I offered him $20 for an hour and he agreed. They also have other rentals such as boogie boards, etc. There was a mobile beach cart selling ice cream that went through. Very nice beach.

Ample public parking, free showers and restrooms, a short walk across beautiful boardwalks to get to the beach. The beach had chairs and umbrellas available for rent, but there was plenty of space to spread out your towel/blanket. I was here on a Saturday afternoon and I was very surprised that we were still able to find parking!

Thought it was great! We went a few times just to hang out and also surf. The waves were good that day. It does get a bit crowded (even in Feb), so go early for a parking spot and a nice spot on the beach.

We were staying in Orlando, but craving a beach. The drive was an easy, stress free hour. The parking lot was full by the time we arrived (1 PM) but waited a few minutes and got a handicap spot as someone was leaving. I was concerned that my husband wouldn't be able to get to the beach due to his handicap, so I walked down and asked the lifeguards for help. They cheerfully offered to drive him down to a nice spot on the beach! I arranged for an umbrella, and he was all set up by the time I wheeled our cooler and beach bag down to meet him. I took a dip in the ocean and it was delightful. It is only waist deep for several yards out, and a light surf. Bathrooms are clean and close to the handicap parking. The lifeguards drove my husband back up to our car when we were ready to leave. On the way out of Cocoa Beach, we witnessed a launch at Cape Canaveral! Perfect ending to a perfect day!

Hey guys! I just had the most incredible time at Lori Wilson Park in Florida! Let me tell you, this place is an absolute gem. The beach sunsets here are absolutely stunning, and the fresh sea water is just perfect for a refreshing swim. Oh, and did I mention the amazing view of the lunching rockets? Clean Restrooms. Free parking. Easy beach access. Great choice for short visit. I only wish I had planned a longer visit. There's more to do there than I thought.

Free parking. Clean bathrooms. Not overly crowded. Peaceful. We rented chairs and an umbrella from Island Watercraft Beach Rentals. (I think his name was Skyler? He was very professional and really friendly.) Enjoyable, affordable outing.

We were here on a rainy evening so the beach was pretty empty and perfect. The boardwalk down to the beach is really nice. There are some benches and picnic areas on the boardwalk as well.

This museum is absolutely a gem in Cocoa Beach. During our visit we got to hear from Jack all about raptors (my daughter's favorite dinosaur) and their different types. He was extremely knowledgeable and we very much enjoyed our time listening to him and his vast knowledge. This is a very cool place and is actually so much bigger than you expect it to be. Absolutely worth it. I highly recommend to anyone visiting or local.

We stopped here on a whim while we were on travel. They closed in 9 minutes but we really wanted to check it out. We entered and were warmly welcomed - lots of people were still in the store. We went through the large gift shop quickly to ensure we finished before close. We didn’t feel pressured at all to get out by staff. Beautiful gems, bones and fossils all over. It was so neat ! My mom purchased a goblet and staff were so nice and kind getting us a box for it. Would return another time to check out museum.

This museum was very cool. It had a lot more than what I ever expected. It's a great place to bring kids or anyone into history and especially dinosaurs. Keep in mind it's not a huge museum. But it's fun and worth checking out. Plenty to see and read about. The store was a museum itself. So much to look at and want to buy! It's free to look around the store but you have to pay a small entrance fee for the museum.

They have a very cool gift shop but also can be extremely pricey (fossils and what not). The museum itself is still enjoyable. Not really the best for kids but if you bring them don't expect to stay long in the museum (they will just want the game room) if you are interested in reading the history you will enjoy this. Overall we enjoyed the experience but the game room/reptile room kinda saved it. Maybe some repairs to the game but the games are free with admission to the room.

Truthfully enjoyed our time in the museum, just know it will take about an hour to calmly see everything. There is a good amount of fossils and artifacts to look at - including dinosaurs, Egypt, minerals, and more! The store itself, which is free to walk around in, is full of the same to browse and purchase. The staff is friendly and will provide you with fun facts/answers to any questions; they even showed us cool minerals to touch and see. It was a nice visit!

The dinosaur store is also a museum! The gift shop at the entrance is huge and has so many beautiful rocks, gems, jewelry, toys, just so much to look at. The museum offers two different experiences. We only did the adventure zone, where all of the arcade games are set to free play, there is a small exhibit of reptiles, and a “theater” set up. It also looks like there’s a gem mining exhibit on this side as well. The pricing offers an entrance to one exhibit or the other, which is the fossil/history actual museum part, or both. I found that helpful because we didn’t have the time to go through the whole museum but still wanted to get to experience some part of it. This place is super cool for anyone interested in history or dinosaurs or reptiles, and for anyone needing a unique gift!

A hidden gem in the heart of Cocoa Beach, Fl. I have lived in the area for years and have driven past this place hundreds of times. I always thought that it was just a store selling geodes and fossils. I finally stopped in this place the other day and I am kicking myself for not stopping here sooner. It is fascinating and there is a lot to it for first-time visitors. According to their website, the store first opened in November 1996. They started designing exhibits for museums and other locations. They liked doing it so much and wanted to share it with their community so, in 2006 they designed a non-profit museum right into the design for the new Dinosaur Store. The NEW Dinosaur Store and Adventure Zone opened on the first floor in March 2009, and the Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures opened on the second and third floors in April 2017. It is fascinating. There are 3 floors to the entire site. The first floor is a store and other adventures. The second floor is the dinosaur exhibits and the third floor is dedicated to ancient civilizations. The prices are about $12/person to see the upper 2 floors. The exhibits are top quality and truly are the best I have seen in any museum. I spent about hours looking at all the different pieces from various periods. It was fascinating, beautiful, and amazing. I highly recommend this place to any visitor in the area. Enjoy.

The museum was fantastic, the only negative I hate with it was the lack of benches on the top floor, due to medical conditions. Other than that, everything was super clean, and exciting to see. We even enjoyed the adventure zone with my young nice and nephew and the games were pretty fun even for adults.

I’m actually surprised how much we enjoyed this place! 3 floors of fun. The gift shop on the first floor was huge and so many items to see. We took the museum tour in the 2nd and 3rd floor. It was only $26.00 for two adults. It’s surprising how well this is put together with great displays and even sound effects. We did the Wizard of Oz museum for more the twice the price and it’s nothing compared to this. We’re not even huge dinosaur fans and still loved it! We purchased some really great items from the store. This is a true gem to the area!

We had a great time at the museum at this place. Excellent exhibits, great tour guide. The shop is also fantastic and they have tons of fossils and cool souvenirs. It’s a great place for a rainy day.

Fun AND informative. Not to mention the gift shop has all sorts of awesome collectables, things for adults and children. The museum portion itself is larger than I imagined, with lots of interesting finds including natural and replica items. Great place to take dinosaur loving kids (and adults!). Gentlemen there gave us a great discussion about velociraptors vs T-Rex type animals, debunking some common misconceptions that are often replicated in today's media. I highly recommend checking it out! And of course it's right by downtown and the beaches, so you can make a fun trip of it.

My 4yr old daughter and I visited here for the first time. I've lived in the area almost my whole life and has never been. I was extremely impressed with our experience. We did the museum tour along with the adventure area which has games for kids of all ages to enjoy. The museum part has two stories on the second and third floors. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of detail. The 3rd floor has exhibits of ancient cultures from the Olmec to ancient Egypt including a full rendition of King Tut's tomb. The 2nd floor takes you through all the different dynastic periods. Again it's beautifully done, quite larger than I expected. There are so many things to look at and learn about we were there in the museum for 2 hours and I could have easily stayed for 2 more. Then back on the 1st floor the adventure zone I believe they call it has a array of games that are perfect for all ages. Also they have live snakes, turtles, frogs, lizards and 2 large alligators. Of course there's the store which is available for anyone to check out free of charge. There's something for everyone, they have an extensive selection of beautiful crystals, fossils, even dinosaur teeth & bones. Of course toys for the kids, lots of learning activities, books or just silly little things. Overall it was the perfect activity to do on an extremely hot August afternoon or for a rainy day. I can't recommend it enough!

This dinosaur museum / shop is awesome for kids. There’s several floors and lots to look at so it keeps them busy! Plus there’s an awesome gift shop with so many different options to chose from and even a little arcade with unique games you wouldn’t normally see.

Great place for anyone who wants to learn about dinosaurs and fossils, Earth evolution, ancient cultures (China, Central America, Egypt), rocks & minerals... Amazing collections of real artifacts and the reconstitutions were so detailed with beautiful painted backgrounds. We were in awe as much as our young children!!

So much fun! We got to dig for stones , and kids love to do that (check if is open or request) having a tour guide for the 2nd floor was amazing and he is so funny!!

I was like a kid in a candy store!! This place is SOOOO cool!! I'm about to be 37yo, and at the age of 3yo I was telling everyone, "I wanna be a paleontologist!" I have never outgrown my love for dinosaurs, and my wonderful hubby knew that this would be an adventure that was close to my heart! I thought the gift shop was the whole thing, and was walking around looking at all of the amazing things wide-eyed 😍 and then my hubby asked me, "are you ready to go through the museum?" And I was like, "you mean there's more??" He laughed and said, "yes, this is just the gift shop!" 1000/10 recommend for ALL ages!! I can't wait to bring my 5yo nephew here as well as my 72yo dad!

Great place!! The gift shop is free to enter, however they may charge you to leave. The museum upstairs is a separate charge but is well worth it for anyone who is into dinosaurs, young and young at heart. There is so much to look at, so many little details that you may have to go back a second time to look around some more.

Show up shortly after they opened so was able to grab a table right away. Definitely a super cool place to sit out over the water for drinks and food. It was windy but not very bad. Not a place to be when the winds are super high. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Drinks and food came out super quick after ordering. Food was just ok but the prices were reasonably. Drinks were where it was at, very good. Food options were from the restaurant in the middle of the pier.

I wanted seafood and I wanted a view. This location had both. Enjoyed a quiet Tuesday night watching the sunset, a cruise ship leaving Port and being rocked by the large waves rolling to shore. Between the sushi and the poke bowl, I chose the Point Break Roll. I found out the sake drinks are not available at the Riki Tiki Taven but enjoyed the Gin Cooler and a Titos with Soda and Lime. It was definitely breezy and cooler over the water. Other guests opted to not to stay on the pier, especially after the sun went down.

This is such a fun place to enjoy a drink or some food with an ocean view. The staff was super helpful, and very kind. (They had some great suggestions for non alcoholic drink options) the food was fantastic (coconut shrimp), and the birds are so fascinating to watch. It's an amazing spot, and for a tourist area the prices are honestly really fair.

Food & drinks were delicious and the view was fabulous! Our server was efficient and friendly, even gave us the extra bit of specialty drink that would have overflowed our cups. Yum! Great place to chill and watch the surfers. Several tables with umbrellas if not already under the tiki roof. Located at the end of the pier. Parking lot right there is $15.

Hello my friends! Here is another review for you! This is a very nice place at the pier of Cocoa Beach in FL! I was there with my wife, and it was a very beautiful day! They have pretty good burgers that we had. It was pretty nice, and it was very delicious. The waiter was smiling and he had a great attitude.! I recommend this place everybody!

A little late but it’s a gloomy in Toronto and I was thinking how I’d love to be at this place today! 😎 My hubby and I were here in March. After biking down the strip of Cocoa Beach, our stop at the Riki Tiki Tavern (at the end of the pier) was the highlight of the day! It’s a super chill, good vibes only tavern serving delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks. Perfect for lunch or dinner after enjoying a beach day with friends or surfing the waves. ☀️🏄‍♀️🌊 Pros: Amazing location, open air bar, great atmosphere with the tavern located at the end of the pier. Excellent views of the beach, surfers, and looking out at the ocean as far as the eye can see! Service was fast and the servers were friendly and easy going. Food was absolutely fantastic! Large portions, cooked perfectly. The grouper sandwich was the best fish sandwich I’ve had in my life! Drinks were also 5 star! Cons: If I had to pick one thing, the tavern doesn’t have restrooms immediately attached. You do have to go back down the pier to find them but I prefer this since it keeps fowl odours and sounds away from where you eat. Flushing toilets would kill the vibe. LOL There is seating at the start of the pier also, so there are options to be closer to restrooms for those with young children or those who prefer it. To note, this is not a fancy place. It’s a very down to earth, relax, beach vibes, GVO bar and restaurant. I would hang out here all day if I lived nearby. Great for families, students, adults, work groups. Just awesome! Would highly recommend!

Our server was quick and efficient on a busy Saturday. Good atmosphere with great views of the beach. Drinks were ok and did not have much alcohol in them.

Beautiful views! Prompt service. Very busy when I was there. 7pm on a Friday night and Saturday night. I also sat at the inner bar to...pictures included of that too. There are 2 bars. One shop. One ice cream stand it the front by parking lot. Plus ins for Cars. Plenty of seating. Awesome Ocean breezes, sound of waves crashing and good drinks. I didnt order food. I recomend going just for the scenery.

Very nice Pier restaurant. Its a $15 parking. That includes the beach entrance. Before you hit the restaurant there is a gift shop. The restaurant is split inside and out. In the back you have the Tiki Bar overlooking the ocean (beautiful view). I didnt give it a 5 star because the food wasn't anything great. Its average and nothing fancy. The price is very reasonable for the serving they give. The service was fantastic and staff were very friendly. One thing I really gotta give credit tho the bathroom was SUPERB! It was very clean!!!

Yes! By far my favorite restaurant visit of our entire vacation! I was a little worried from the reviews but I seriously see no reason why this restaurant got anything less than 5 stars. It opens at 11 and I recommend being there exactly at 11 on the weekend. We got there at 11:08 and were seated promptly but just one table over from what I wanted. It was busy! But still our table was great! Server greeted us immediately and got our drinks fast. The strawberry daiquiri was one of the best daiquiris I’ve ever had. SO good! We ordered the waygu burger and it was delicious. Our kids ate every bit of their food too. The views were to die for and we saw dolphins while eating too! Kid’s menu is not listed but they have one and it was delicious! They can also make any frozen drink a virgin drink and my boys LOVED their piña coladas! All in all myself and my family give it a 10/10!

Relaxed Vibes, awesome service and good food. First time exploring Cocoa Beach and happy we decided to try Tikki Tavern. Definitely a place to try while in town.

Visited here with a friend just for a drink. We got a great spot at the end which meant we could just stare out into the ocean, feel the breeze and soak in the sea air. We ordered a cocktail each. I had the Miami vice which was delicious! Would definitely return.

We visited in the early evening for a drink before dinner. It was very crowded but we managed to get a table after a short wait. Very cool atmosphere. Watch the waves roll under you! It took awhile to grab the bartenders attention to get drinks. They were very talkative with some locals but overall the service was good and we enjoyed our drinks!

Very nice location to experience sunset by the bay. The food was great! Awesome service too. I loved their Piñacolada. My husband and I did really have a fantastic night at the place. It’s a must to try out.

I rarely post reviews, but I was wowed by this place! Both the food and especially the service was spectacular. I always come to pier restaurants with low expectations, but this place is awesome. We had a party of 8 and ordered a variety of food, and it was all very good, especially the sushi, sashimi, nigri, and rolls. Gina was outstanding as a keeper at a busy bar. We'll be back for sure

For 2 people we ended up paying $73 before tip for two main meals, an extra side, one smoothie, and two beers. We ordered 2 drafts beers and a Strawberry/Passionfruit virgin smoothie (REALLY good) to start. for our meals we had the pork butt mac and cheese with onion rings on it and a crab cake sandwich. The mac and cheese was very creamy and delicious, but it was a little pricey at $16 given the portion was a little small. but overall the food was great. Their menu is the same as Pier 62 (even said pier 62 at the bottom) Given that it's January and the off season we had no trouble getting a table. Service was good. We were lucky enough to see dolphins playing in the surf while eating, which wS a nice treat. We definitely will bring visiting guests here, but will warn them of the price.

We had a fantastic meal before leaving Orlando/Cocoa Beach, thanks to a recommendation from our Airbnb co-host. It truly lived up to its reputation! My son opted for the Mac n cheese, and I indulged in the lobster rolls – both were exceptional choices! I was pleasantly surprised by the rich, creamy homemade mac and cheese, while the lobster rolls were simply divine, generously filled with buttery goodness and even more than the usual garlic bread. And let's not forget about the fries – they were a unique and delightful addition to the meal! The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to refill our drinks, provide extra napkins, or suggest desserts. Although there was indoor dining available, my son and I opted for the outdoor seating, which offered a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere for our evening.

The 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the prices. I've been visiting this bar since I was barely drinking age (when it was called Mai Tiki) It's been redone lovely so that there's much more space to sit. It's no longer a bar hut- but an actual bar & grill. It's the best spot on the beach. I always feel like I'm on vacation when I spend time here. It's been way too long! I Love this place & can't wait to visit again! ❤️

Great stop for our random choice of where to eat lunch. We ordered the seasoned shrimp with their garlic parm pasta salad as the side and a sweet chili dipping sauce along with their Cuban Club style inspired sandwich with the beer battered fries. Everything was very appealing visually and delicious to the tastebuds. Came out hot and every bite was enjoyed. You will have an incredible view of the ocean and all that comes with that. The local birds want to help you with your meal also, but will stay their distance as long as you don’t feed them. They are a very humorous part of the experience. We ordered two drinks that were very tasty. A great choice of places to stop and we will go back.

Clean and calm. Went in the late morning expecting a crowd but was pleasantly surprised when there wasn't one. Great views and the birds (and people) were friendly.

Took my kids here for summer break, was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the convenience of showers and nearby parking. Will definitely be back soon!

1st time here. We came after shopping at Ron Jon and had to get some pictures of the beach. We visited on a Friday afternoon in November, and the beach wasn’t busy at all. We were able to grab some sea shells easily while here. Definitely recommend. Great resting place if travel down Florida.

Beautiful but be cautious of the flags flying. The day we went the purple flag was up, and hundreds of Portuguese man o war jellyfish were blown in on the beach! Wear shoes!

Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach is a great spot for public beach access for a day trip from Orlando. It’s an easy drive and perfect spot to get your beach fix. - Only an hour from Orlando - The Beach offers 300+ paid public parking spots, picnic tables, restrooms, showers, and a lifeguard stand. - Walking distance from restaurants & RonJon if you’re renting boards. - Sand. Surf. Sun. Fun. Need I say more? 🌊

Great place to spend the day. The park has restrooms and picnic área. You can also buy drinks and snacks. The beach is lovely but there are strong rip currents, watch out for kids alone as it might be dangerous.

Great pay-to-play beach park, right where SR 520 dead-ends at the Atlantic Ocean. $5/hr or $20/day per car as of this posting. Full facilities (restrooms, showers, etc), dozens of covered picnic tables, lifeguards most days, and a front row seat to world-famous Cocoa Beach! As an added bonus, there are a couple of local dive restaurants literally right in the parking lot: Sandbar (the better of the 2) and Capt J's (with better views).

Terrible app has been installed for parking. We're regular visitors to Florida and Cocoa Beach and have experienced several payment methods over the years with success,but this new one at Shepherds Park is awful! App down loads everything works up until confirm payment. Says's try again as there's a connection issue'. Several people,mostly tourists, were experiencing the same problem. Many drove off in distress and upset,fearing a fine if they stayed too long. I found a friendly American who had successfully paid his parking by giving him the cash as he then paid it for me on the app. On speaking to the parking inspector, they acknowledged tourists are struggling to use the app successfully ( British,Irish,Germans,French, Italians) to park to use and enjoy the beach. Several Americans are struggling with the app payment, too! Please change the payment system.... Local businesses must be suffering a loss of trade....

Beautiful beach within easy walking distance of the parking lot. Restrooms were clean and nearby. Limited number of covered picnic tables. Within walking distance of RonJon Surf Shop, Keylime Pie Company and 7-Eleven. Lifeguards on duty. Would be a great location to watch a rocket launch. Parking is $25 for the day and you have to pay through the app.

I work on the beach for a Beach Rental company, couldn't make it through my day without Shepard Park. Bathrooms, vending, life guards.

Perfect getaway for a day, if you are looking to spend the day at the beach, without a lot of people, this is the place. The parking was 5$ and hour or 20$ all day, restrooms available and very comfortable area, also clean. Also the Ron Jon surf shop it’s near by, it’s I think one of the biggest shop.

Park your car and enjoy Cocoa Beach. There is paid parking, outdoor showers 🚿 and restrooms 🚻 , and a nice boardwalk. Umbrella 🌂 and chair 💺 rentals are available. Have fun on the beach ⛱️ and use sunscreen, because the Florida sun 🌞 ☀️ 🌤 is hot 🔥 🥵! As a local, I highly recommend this place for fun in the sun 🌞. 🤗😊😃

Perhaps the single best thing about this particular library is that it doesn't seem to be inundated with the homeless, as affects so many others up and down Brevard County. Let's hope it stays that way.

This is such a beautiful library! Beautiful murals at the entrance. But my favorite spot is their room for second hand books on sale ♥ I often find treasures to take home. And today I did, bought 6 books second hand ♥

Great set on the walk, fantastic smiling people attending and lot of resources and activities, check their website. Also Publix computer, printing at affordable prices and parking. I have found a used book area very cheap.

Staff is Very Helpful. The activities from learning a language, to painting, to Silver Sneakers, to Yoga, etc was impressive.

Finding good novels for sale at 25¢ each is fantastic!! This library also has a wonderful children's area with hands on activities and story hours! Recently freshly painted, it's a welcoming, relaxing place to enjoy the newspaper or use one of their many computers.

In terrible shape, as it's neglected by its overseers. Bathrooms are locked, and the water fountain is basically pond water. You can't get anywhere near the lip of the bowl because 60% of it is piecing away from what was already a weak repair job. Unfortunately, there is nothing else in the area to ride anymore due to the rockledge and merritt island parks closing. It's a shame.

Wow just reading the park rules is a bummer. There are free public skateparks all over the state that allow all wheels in the parks. How are anything but a skateboard an issue? Blades, scooters, and bikes are a small percentage of users at the open to all parks. No issues at my local. Was going to travel up and down the east coast with the family, but not going stay in Cocoa Beach if I'm not allowed in this park. So much for helping your local economy. It's almost 2023, and closed minded parks still exist.

Lived 5 min from this park for 2 years. Loved it , although the hours are my only complaint as I’m a morning guy and enjoy the low weekday crowds and Monday - Friday they don’t open til 3:30 Pm! So I just went to Satellite beach skate park those Days. The park it self though is 5 stars.

Great place to skate. My son loves it because the shape of the bowl. Very easy to air out. Plus there is another section to practice your street skills. Best of all, It's free!

We love our community nights and the local participation! Would like for the city to finish the bathroom remodel but baby steps.

Love this park i grew up skating it. Only problem is the city does not hire professionals to do repairs. Everytime they repair something its just a temporary bandaid. Also alot of parents bring their little kids here and dont teach them skatepark etiquette so watch out for 4 y/os dropping in on you constantly.

Now a free park. Pretty nice, not too crowded. Pretty sure I won't be going upside-down on that bowl!

Awesome skatepark I have to say top 3 in Brevard County hands down. The bowl is amzing with a huge capsule as well. Also has a little street style area as well.

Loved it. Relaxing atmosphere. Great crowd of beginners and expert skaters.

Reopened to a very pleasant, informative view of Cocoa Beach surf history and legends. ------------------------------- We found out they were closed for changing exhibition and staff uncertain of its reopening. Also note it is located inside the smallest Ron Jon's beach rentals building.

This is not your typical museum but more like an exhibit however we knew this based on the reviews from here. I'm not a HUGE surfer kind of person but I do enjoy reading and learning about stuff. This is located inside the Ron Jon Rental shop, the staff was kind and asked right away if we needed help and pointed us to the direction of the museum. There are cool historic surf boards and pics of historical surfers and pictures. Again, I don't follow these people's careers but it was really nice to read how young these guys and girls were and how history was made in local cocoa Beach and seeing how small the surf boards were. Overall we had a great time reading through history, learning about them and letting the Florida thunderstorms pass. It was all good. There's probably more that can be done there to make it better but overall for it being free and by donation only, it was great.

It was cool to check out and see the boards of some famous surfing celebrities. It is only one room, but decent sized. We did not read the reviews beforehand, so we were slightly underwhelmed. Still nicely displayed, and we'll kept. Might be worth poking your head in to this exhibit if you are already in the area. It is free.

Definitely not worth the 30 min drive I made, calling this a "museum" is a helluva stretch. Just a few random boards, framed photos but no context. Mostly an empty room. The staff in the store wasn't particularly friendly either.

This place is amazing and really worth your time if you appreciate the history of florida surfing. It is not a very big place but it holds some very good historical pieces. If you dont have any understanding of florida surfing history or appreciation for surfing in florida it will seem like an empty room to you. It is not what most people would think of as a museum but there is some interesting and meaningful things they have on display.

It's closed for remodeling. We were told by employee that it's a small room with some pictures however they're painting the walls and updating everything and that there is no definite date as to when it will be open. I say call ahead. (Five star because anything surfing is awesome!)

Love this place. Considering our tax money should cover all of it's Operating and Repair expenses and Salaries, you would think it would be open All Day Saturday and Sunday for us to enjoy. Wondering why since there isn't any issues with collecting all of our tax money. That is when people would love to use it with our families. Thank you!

I've been here dozens of times now to swim laps. They have a pretty good schedule of hours where you can sign up to reserve a lane ahead of time as well as just drop in. Sometimes you have to compete with the swim team taking up some lanes but they usually have a couple extra. I've only ever had to share a lane once. The changing room is pretty bare. But they have toilets and showers and that's what matters. No lockers or anything for storing your stuff. The staff is pretty friendly and answers questions well. Might be worth paying for a monthly pass rather than just a day pass--but tons of options. I've seen come for open swim with kids and things but I'm not sure the experience they had with that.

So I walked up and was happy to know they take card now since I forgot my cash. They let me know before I paid the pool slide was going to be closed. First the girl told me because it’s so hot and the life guards don’t want to stand up there. I then asked if there was anyway they could turn it on and watch them from bottom. Then I was told that actually the slide is broken anyway. The splash pad was off and there was just a few people swimming in the lanes. Very dead. I paid $25 for non resident for 4 people which I thought was too pricey. We then were told the kids needed to do a swim lesson to make sure they were equipped enough to not have to wear a life vest. We were very hot in 100 degree blazing weather but we went through with it begrudgingly. You have to take a swim test each child has to tread water with face above water for a full minute, swim across pool and show they can float on their back for a certain amount of time. Finally we are done and can get into some shade under umbrella my two boys jump in and my daughter who I knew was unable to tread water like that at 3 opted out of test for life vest. She got into pool with that on and I sat under umbrella at table about 5 feet from the pool edge. I then had a girl worker approach me and tell me I’m not allowed to be more then 3 feet away from her while she’s in the pool. I told her she has her swimmer on and I’m watching her. She kept saying its policy and pointed to the front. I said its extremely hot and I would be more comfortable watching her from under some shade. She told me it’s policy and another worker was quick to involved about the policy. There was three life guards also sitting around the pool. So anyway I had my daughter get out and to be close by. I asked if they could turn on the splash pad for us. The girl told me she would turn it on and it will take a minute for it to start. We head over to the baby pool, my daughter and I where the mushroom waterfall is. The pool head bird feathers all through it and lots of dirt. We stood with our feet on the edge to wait for splash pad. A worker came up and said we were not allowed to do that either. I went over with this worker what thing we can do and can’t do again because it was exhausting. And hot. No diving boards, slide 3 feet with daughter, no big part of pool but can be with her in pool only in shallow area. No lanes. We head over to splash pad area and wait since she said it would take a minute. We waited for maybe five minutes and decided to go to shallow part of pool together because it wasn’t turning on. The pool was not refreshing because it’s very warm. I immediately notice the filth in the water in here now and I’m really grossed out. The sides of the pool on the tiles of the walls that are out of the water have black grim built up so thick it’s disgusting. You can see where people have crawled out and maybe slid a foot on it on accident and it’s left imprints from wiping off the scum. The entrance and exit I thought at first were a bunch of bubbles just floating there until I realized it’s actually more disgusting grim or scum build up in the water so bad but has been pushed to the outer limits of pool from people swimming. I am thinking why did I just drive all the way here and pay 25 dollars??! I thought we would all have a blast. We have been here a handful of times in the years of being here and it was nothing like it used to be. How can they not even clean the pools? Things are run down and broken and staff is uptight and overbearing. Will never go again. And I would never recommend it anymore like I used to.

Says heated pool and it’s freezing , located next to a sewage plant. Biggest waste of money and worse my daughter had a frown on her face. This place literally stinks and is $100 short of going under lol. If this is government owned then this city must be hurting bad.

Love the size! I teach Aqua Zumba out there every Saturday morning at 10 am. They offer swim lessons, lap swimming, and additional Aquatic classes. Come join in!!!

The office staff is a bit preoccupied with gossiping but the lifeguards are always on alert and the swim instructor, Carol, is fabulous. She is very attentive and encouraging with the kids under her tutelage.

My favorite public pool in Brevard. Slide. Splash pad. Diving board and many lifeguards. Have an overview of entire pool all the time and can see what the kids are doing. Shaded lounge area with chairs.

Don’t bother coming here with children. We came here to use the kiddie pool and practice our son’s swimming (so he doesn’t forget while our pool is under renovation). Everything looks old and is falling apart at the seams. Turns out the kiddie pool is open only ONE MORNING a week (Saturday). Should you come any other time, you are told your kids can use only the shallow end and nothing else in the entire facility. Oh but wait, your kids CAN’T EVEN SWIM in the shallow end without a puddle jumper. That’s right, you can’t even teach your child to swim here. What a sad abomination of a an ‘aquatic center’ this is.

Kayak tours and more! Great location to kayak around Cocoa Beach

Free parking. Clean restrooms. Sand was difficult to walk in. Big beach area. Saw a beach ranger patrol the area once in the five hours. Area maintained well.

Go to the left of the entrance and it's a dog friendly beach! My pups had the BEST TIME exploring the waves and meeting other pups. So fun highly recommend. So it's dog friendly before 10am and after 4pm daily, no parking fee.

Beautiful beach! It wasn't as crowded as other beach locations nearby. Not as much parking space. The water was beautiful and people were swimming. In spite if that, today, the shore was covered in Portuguese man o' war jellyfish.

Perfect spot to watch the sun rise! Limited parking but if you get there early it's just a quick walk to the open beach! My puppies loved it here and the beach area is very well maintained. Many folks patrol the area watching for new sea turtle nests and to make sure the current nests are not disturbed.

Nice and clean beach. If you are going in winter, keep a light jacket because it gets very windy in evening. We had a great time.

This beach access was close to our Airbnb. Free parking was nice but having a bathroom is even better. Great place to see the 🌅. Wasn't ever crowded again which was very nice.

This is a wonderful Brevard County park in Cocoa Beach. From this beach access and north to 4th St S., dogs are allowed on the beach during certain hours. The hours are from 6am to 10am and 5pm to 7pm during standard time, and until 9pm during daylight savings time. The only negative comment I have is that the shower that is there to rinse off the sand is not good - the water pressure is not good enough to wash off the sand.

Nice park, plenty of parking. Tree canopied walkway to the beach. Off the beaten path so not too busy. At the south end of the dog friendly beach.

Very nice community theater who goes all out to put on plays for all ages and of all types. I was there with the family to watch a production of Moana that was done as part of their summer kids program

Great local playhouse! We enjoyed an evening out with friends for a passionately performed Rocky Horror Picture Show. The vibe is fabulous and the performers were great. We highly recommend a visit to this venue. Check their schedule and buy tickets to the next show. There's not a bad seat in the house.

This is a great community theatre - where the community is truly a family. From improv to NEW "fractured" fairy tales to the classics... the talent, dedication, and just plain fun keeps us coming back again and again!

A modern version of my very favorite Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Very well done to the cast and crew!

Went to see Lee Hardin last night and he was very good! Unfortunately, his opener held the mic so close to his mouth, we had a difficult time understanding him. Last but not least the lady in front of me had her cell phone on the entire time and causing a distraction. We moved to the seats behind us. Would love to see more comedy shows. Bathroom was clean, friendly staff, overall had a very nice time.

This is always a wonderful experience. Comfortable seating and staff is always happy to help in any way. I have never been disappointed by the whole experience each time I come.

Wow, what a performance. We had a wonderful entertaining evening enjoying a musical-play delivered by some talented actors/actresses. The title of this play was called "Once Upon A Mattress." The story was filled with lots of laughter and muse. The stage delivery, costumes and theatre set-up was truly amazing in that of a Broadway Show. Thanks to each of the performers for supplying us with such a fun watchful performance. Yes, we would recommend seeing this musical before it ends. We also look forward to attending other events in the future.

It was so awesome to get back to the Playhouse! It's been a year since my husband and I had a great date night. And what a show to come back to. Absolutely amazing! Another great performance by all. So missed this and look forward to having date nights again. Thank you!

I saw Agnes Of God on Sunday. It was a powerful performance! I highly recommend it! This little playhouse has incredible talent. I have never left a show without having been totally swept away in the wonder of the places actors on a stage can take you.

My husband and I attended the Reader’s Theater “From the Script to the Stand” on March 9th. Friends had filled us in on what to expect but we weren’t prepared for how awesome this experience would be. The simplicity of the actors, all dressed in black, standing behind music stands with no other distractions made it easy for the audience to become submerged in the story line. Some of the scripts had us concentrating on the subtle meanings of the story while others broke our hearts. The discussion after each act included the audience, which was a unique experience for us. We sincerely hope that the Surfside Playhouse and the director, Nancy Matican-Bock, will have more “From the Script to the Stand” in the future.

Terrific small theater. Just saw once upon a mattress and thoroughly enjoyed it. The stage was very impressive, as were the costumes. Had a little difficulty hearing sometimes, but not enough to lose the string.

The venue was wonderful. The Rich Weirdoes? The cast and crew were engaged and clearly enjoyed what they do, which made it entertaining. Still, there's a line that lies between "artistic expression" and "obnoxious" that I'm sure is different for everyone. Rocky Horror Picture Show would have been better when I was 12 and thought it was funny to shout obscenities. It got a little tiresome. Maybe it's me. Maybe I should avoid these shows now.

Surfside playhouse is a gem! Amazing talent, creative director. Also the small changes they are making inside look great! Went to see one upon a mattress, another great musical hit! Kept me engaged the whole time.
