We enjoyed our time at the Gulfarium! It was extremely packed for a beautiful day and the entrance was a little confusing on where to go to see everything but once we got the hang of it it was quite enjoyable. The dolphin show was amazing. The sea lions were so funny! The store was full of all kinds of memorabilia from your trip. We highly recommend taking your kids to see this!

Pretty neat place to visit. Nice to see that they are expanding. The Sea Lion show was closed when we went so while that was a disappointment, they did give you 20% off the admission price. They also offer a military discount. They have a lady taking your picture when you first arrive and I think she should explain that it is so you can purchase them photo shopped into a variety of backgrounds. Was happy they offer food to buy. We would of liked to purchase a animal encounter but they only offered 2 different times and we would of had to stay hours until the 2nd time. Good place to take kids.

Admission was pricer than t I thought it would be, but honestly well worth it. Their dolphin show was awesome. They obviously care very much for the animals there. They even have a separate area for rescued turtles where you can see them getting care in their tanks. I think they do a lot to really drive home that we need to share the area and take care of the animals around us. I appreciated that a lot. There is a good variety of things to see here and you can plan on staying at least 3 hours if not more. Definitely stop by and support this place and what they do.

It’s a small size facility. They made it nice and interesting. Great for educational purposes and spend 1 hour and 30 minutes with your kid without much work. Their show was nice. I would recommend to bring a jacket if you come during a colder weather because most of the visit will be outside.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is unparalleled, nestled right by the ocean with breathtaking views of the beach. The dolphin show was an absolute highlight, leaving us in awe of these magnificent creatures. Sitting in the splash zone added an extra layer of excitement and fun to the experience. Our encounters with the Harbor Seals and Penguins were beyond memorable, offering a unique opportunity to interact closely with these incredible animals. The staff were friendly, also incredibly knowledgeable, enriching our visit with fascinating insights about the animals. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure!

This place was a nice experience. Fairly priced and took about an hour to get through, including the Sea Lion show which was fantastic! (Definitely our favorite part - we were not able to see a dolphin show due to arriving after the last show, but we were okay with that) Nice, relaxing and beautiful surroundings as well. The gift shop was pretty large and had a wide variety of souvenirs. Variety of animals as well.

We were told to give this aquarium a visit when we came down to Florida. I absolutely love aquariums that are rehabilitation/ rescue and release centers. It was a little pricey, but it wasn't too bad. The dolphin show was a must see and there were lots of animals out for viewing. A lot of it was outside which was super nice and we went in the off season so it wasn't crowded at all. I also liked the option they gave for donating, they provided links to Amazon lists to get medical and other supplies they need, which I definitely preferred over just sending money.

My child (age 7) and I had a WONDERFUL time this Tuesday! It’s a smaller more intimate experience. Definitely pick your seats early for shows if you want to be super close. Volume of show music & narration was good; not too loud but not too quiet. Bring ear protection just in case. Staff was super helpful and friendly! ADA access was more thought out than most places. Such a wide variety of species and tons of creative learning opportunities. Well shaded from sun which was a huge plus for our sensory processing. Just absolutely fabulous. The new dolphin cove is not open yet. Overall such a great leisurely experience. It was also located within a very short stroll to other places of interest.

This place is wonderful. I am typically anti-zoo type experiences but this place was very cool. The kids loved it and there was lots of shaded areas to relax on a hot day. We watched the sea lion show and it was amazing! We got to see a Sea Lion break dance. We arrived early and beat the crowds mostly but I would go anytime of day. You can cool off in the underground viewing area.

I went to the Gulfarium with my family and the experience was alright. When I walked in everything felt pretty rundown and a little dirty. Walking around the entire aquarium took about 45 minutes and was most definitely one of the smallest aquariums I have ever been too. On to the positive things, the workers seem to like their job and my family had a good time. Im not an animal expert but the animals look happy and well cared. The shows the aquarium had to offer were pretty cool, not Sea World level but it was still a nice and fun experience. Definitely stop by here on your next vacation.

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to the Gulfarium. It was very nice. The front of the Gulfarium was under construction so the curb appeal wasn't great when we pulled up, but the inside was very nice and professional. Our first stop was to see the sea aquarium with the shark. Out kids thought it was so cool to watch the shark swim by. The tank had a lot of fish and see life in it. There were also some smaller tanks with a lion fish, sea horses, and other animals. They also had a green python--my favorite snake. We went and walked around the outdoor exhibits where we say a large pool with a ton of sting rays. We sea a tank for sea turtles, African penguins, sea lions, otters, nuse sharks, and a bunch of turtles. We walked around the sand dune habitat and saw the biggest white pelicans I've ever seen. They were huge! There were also crocodiles, alligators, and big tortoises. Our kids favorite thing to see was the new space for the dolphins and their show. They had a very fun short show where the trainers had them demonstrate some of their awesome flips and tricks. We were very impressed. Overall, we were surprised by the size of the park. We thought it would be bigger. However, it was a really nice size for our 5 and 6 year old to walk around because it wasn't too much to walk and we were able to see everything and the dolphin show all before lunch.

It’s a nice aquarium to bring your kids, took us about 4 hours to get through everything and really going slow through it. There wasn’t as many people as I thought as the parking lot was packed full of vehicles. I will say they have some awesome fishtanks just wish they were cleaned more often and kinda look neglected but all in all not a bad experience the kids loved it

A great place for families with younger kids. The dolphin show was informative and fun to watch. The sea lion show was good also. There are turtles, sharks, sea fish, stingrays, alligators, and birs to see. A reptile area and a manatee exhibit if coming. Age 12 and up is $35 and I felt we got our money's worth. There are animal interactions you can pay extra for as well.

This place had a couple really fun entertaining shows. It was worth going at least once. I think of I had young kids I'd definitely take them here. Oh course it's not a Sea World, but the staff do a really good job with answering any questions & presenting the animals. We spent over 4 hours looking around & seeing shows. It was raining on & off when we went. Most of this place is open, but they do have a lot of areas that are covered.

Great dolphin show and we loved the exhibits of the fish, penguins, and sea otters. The staff were nice. The majority of the exhibits are outside, so make sure to wear appropriate clothing. The only exhibit inside are the small fishes. There was handicap seating for the dolphin show. They sell food and drinks, but their water fountain outside was not working according to the sign they placed on top of it.

Go early to avoid the crowds! It was just ok. For the price def not enough to keep ya busy for long. Felt bad for the captive animals but that's just my animal heart.... Dolphins were the best. If you watch the show from downstairs you can see a different perspective which was pretty neat!

We had our first Family Summer vacation to Florida and I was dying to visit the Gulfarium as I had heard many great things. Admission price is $$ what you typically pay at aquariums/zoos. We did not purchase our tickets in advance as we wanted to use a coupon we got at our hotel so there was maybe a 5-10 minute wait to purchase tickets and get inside. They do have an option to purchase tickets in advance online and it seems that might be your straight in with no wait ticket. Once inside we headed for the Dolphin show first and it was beautiful. I think the dolphin show was my favorite part aside from the location. You have beautiful views on top of beautiful views. The place is literally on Fort Walton Beach so you get the beautiful view of the beach while you’re admiring most of the animals. It’s an outdoor open air facility and the setup is very easy to navigate through and very well thought out. I was happy with my overall experience and would go again but the reason for my four stars is that I wasn’t wowed. Don’t get me wrong the views were astonishing but other than that I felt as if I was at the zoo back at home.

So much fun! All the animals are so spectacular to see! Beautiful views, amazing shows, quite a soulful place to be! I celebrated my birthday here and got to be a dolphin star and experience the dolphins first hand! Everyone is so positive and helpful!

This was a let down / though it has potential. 3 dolphins in a very small pool - and the main dolphin pool was closed. The brochure said dolphin oasis coming in 2023 - there are 10 days left and it’s not open yet. Touching pond had no fish to touch. Sting ray tank had just a handful of stingrays. The Gators and turtles and water fowl were pretty cool. Sea lion and dolphin shows were cute. Gift shop was great but overpriced. Lots of missing habitats of birds, reptiles, and small aquariums inside. Over needs some paint, more sea life, and hurry and open the dolphin oasis. Spent some good money to take my family of five and while they had an ok time k feel like we got a wish version of what could have been great . I would be open to go again after the oasis opens

Had a wonderful time seeing all the animals here. Food was wonderful as well. Visted on the 13th of February. Was a little cool but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. Would definitely love to visit when the weather is warmer. Will go back again.

We went for my son’s 1st birthday and we absolutely loved it. We watched the dolphin and sea lion show with just general admission and it was a blast. There’s plenty of things for kids to do. Including an area kids can touch starfish and shells in the water.

Worth a visit!! We had a great time watching the dolphin and sea lion shows! The penguins are adorable! They have sharks and even alligators! The shows were great!! Glass of many habits needs cleaning. It was under construction but the manatees will be a great addition! Note: we got there at 9:30 took our time, watched almost all shows and we were done by 1.

We go to the area annually and always stop at the Gulfarium. It’s a hit for our toddler and a great way to spend a few hours if you need a break from the beach. We go during off-season so it’s never been extremely crowded. We look forward to seeing the new expansion on our next visit!

We watched the dolphin, seal and sea lion shows with just general admission. It was a fantastic experience and day out with my older kids. All of the exhibits were clean and the animals well looked after. Support form the local sea life and preservation is also important, and reflected by the trainers and staff. Definitely worth it!

We love visiting the Gulfarium! This trip my 2 kids encountered a penguin and sea lion. They were fascinated with what they were taught about the animal and had fun with the animal they encountered! Thank you to the staff for making the entire trip and experience memorable! From the time we walked into the building until the time we walked out every staff member was helpful and fully engaged in needs of the guests and animals. We will be back to see the manatees!

Wonderful treasure of the Emerald Coast. We started visiting over 25 years ago, and they keep improving the facility and the exhibits for all to experience coastal sea life. While everything else around seems to be so commercialized, Gulfaruim remains true to its mission. Even in December, there was plenty to do and see. Really appreciated the generous discount for veterans and families on that day. Crowd was probably a bit larger than normal for the time of year, everyone was courteous and kind. Looking forward to upgraded facility in future visits.

Cute but small. The sea lion show made it worth it. The staff and the guy who led that show were really great. And of course the cute sea lions. The dolphin area was not open to see when we went. It’s right on the beach so the views are nice. Some of the animal exhibits look kinda old and dirty which is slightly depressing.

The sheer number of artifacts here is amazing. Everything from planes to guns to helicopters to bombs. And the stories behind them and their usage...! Amazing! It's a great family museum but also perfect for adults. I highly recommend it. Allow about 2-3 hours to really see everything .Wear comfy shoes. Definitely a family oriented museum.

Very educational museum, located on or around Eglin AF base. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. And very detailed in explaining everything in and about the museum. Kid friendly and a wonderful gift shop inside!

An amazing museum. The aircraft and artifacts are beautiful and pristine. The staff is very considerate and friendly. We enjoyed seeing the very first Ac130, and a lot of the more modern displayed inside. Plan on a few hours to enjoy it all.

My grandfather was a bomber pilot in Vietnam and has flown me around since I was a tot, so my love for flight runs through my blood. For my husband’s and my week-long vacation in Fort Walton we made sure to make this museum a stop. It was a fun afternoon reading up on the planes, bombs, and other fun facts. We enjoyed the videos that were playing and the restrooms are very clean. My husband especially liked the firearm display. This free museum was great.

Most of their aircraft are displayed outside but are still in very good condition. You can also get a lot closer to these than you can in other museums. They have a good range of fixed wing aircraft of the air force. They also have an excellent collection of aircraft armament, as the name would suggest. I would definitely go again!

A+++!! This is an awesome place to visit, even if you aren't an aircraft nut (I am, so it was even cooler for me.) The did a great job of organizing the aircraft and other displays and provided a lot of information about the specific aircraft on display. Most impressive part...it was free and the bathrooms were NICE! When do you ever get nice clean bathrooms at a free attraction?

Saw this Air Force museum off hwy. Wonderful experience. Has both indoor and outdoor plane, bomb and missile statures. I'm grateful for the free outdoor museum. The planes are breath taking. Massive and huge. Must see. Unsure if indoors need tickets. Great for kids and adults.

Beautiful museum even though we was only able to explore the outside since we came after hours. Really wished we had the opportunity to go inside but this was just a coincidence stop we made on the way to Tallahassee from Pensacola. Pretty sure inside the Museum would be more impressive. Definitely will have to make another trip down there to explore in depth of this awesome museum. Free to get inside the Museum but donation would be great to maintain these masterpiece. Plenty of history and amazing real Aircrafts, jets, missiles, ammunition, B52, helicopters, and many more to see in person. The SR-71 Blackbird and MOAB was the best. This is really a hidden gem for all military history and museum lovers.

A fun place to learn about past military and wars to military aircraft’s and weapons. This is a great place for family or for oneself to gain knowledge and see historical information. Place is free to visit but I would recommend donating even if a $10 for it’s well worth donating to an American establishment honoring and teaching our military past.

🤩 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is one of the best days I’ve ever had. I put off this visit, finally went today and it’s the highlight of my year. I spent 5 hours wandering and reading and SEEING all of the amazing USAF History. So many great displays and it’s a fantastic place to take kids to teach them the history of aviation and war. Thank you to all the amazing staff I met. So smart, and friendly!

This place is a super underestimated gem. First of all, we tried to go to the Pensacola National Naval Aviation Museum, but since a shooting in 2019, they've locked that place down pretty tight. Even as a veteran I couldn't get on board the base with my family to see a NATIONAL museum. So, we drove the opposite direction to see planes and I was IMPRESSED! Great selection of static aircraft outside. Tons of weapons, aircraft and ordnance on display inside! My son's a plane nerd and he absolutely loved it. Easy to visit. And amazing aircraft on display!

Overall a good aviation museum. A few good exhibits here. Great friendly staff and nice gift shop. Also if you are in the area the outside has a great walking trail. Would plan 1-3 hours here. The items could use a little better upkeep.

This place is just great!!!! All of my family really enjoyed both indoor and outdoor sections of this place and we were able to go as fast or slow as we wanted. 2 story inside with elevators. Great history here. Was very impressed like I said. Bring water and a snack and enjoy the outdoor area off in the back too. Certainly easy to miss this gem but with the other "National" museum being closed to the public due to the Navy's inability to properly vet foreign military forces, what options do we have?

Fantastic arrangement of historic aircraft! The B17 was enough for me, every thing else was a bonus. Each aircraft has a sign with statistical data next to them, as does everything on the grounds. I did NOT get to go inside the actual museum because I was there very early on a Sunday morning passing by. Beautiful display. As always, be respectful and do not touch the displays as tempting as it is.

Very nice! Gentlemen at the Reception Desk was literally brushing up on his already extensive knowledge in order to share a great experience. Detailed descriptions on each exhibit. Planes outside are great to walk around and view. Looking forward to the African American Military addition they have planned 😊💖

Took our 11 year old son and his 11 year old friend to this museum while on vacation in Fort Walton and they truly enjoyed it and so did Mom and me (dad). The boys were truly excited and never bored. We stayed about 90 minutes. Lots to see and learn about plus it's free. Don't forget to drop a few dollars in the donation boxes. Have fun and God Bless.

We spent 4 hrs here. There is so much to see. This museum is super great. Full of info and amazing planes on display. Staff was extra nice & welcoming. Free admission, but ask for a donation....which they deserve! Will definitely be back to visit again!!

This place is simply amazing for Air Force history, especially in the history of armament. They host ceremonies and retirements here and are also the new visitor entry center for the base. Any time I bring people to the pan handle I stop here with them. They have tons of aircraft outside and lots of munitions history inside. This is a must stop.

It's a really good place to learn about the US Army force. We spent 3 hours visiting that area. They have a great gift shop if you want to get souvenirs, so we did. It has been a really fun place to go.

Saw this on the way from the regional airport and decided to stop. Glad we did! They open up one of the aircraft once a month with former crew members volunteering to show you around. There are many aircraft on display including some experimental ones that didn't get to production - good look at our nation's engineering history. There's also an extensive collection of historic rifles, ones I've never seen at other military museums. So much to see! Plan accordingly.

What an awesome military museum. The price is free, they have over 1000 pieces of military equipment to look at. They have a second floor walkway to look down on the planes inside of the building. Anything from ww2 to present time period equipment they have a gift shop to buy Air Force/ military patches, small model planes etc

Very cool museum, COMPLETELY FREE, has a nice gift shop with fairly reasonable pricing for souvenirs. Highly recommended as a stop for anyone within 100 miles of Eglin!

If you love the air force, military, history or America, this place is awesome! So much to see and read about. The retired air craft are so cool to see up close. Highly recommend!

While the outside planes are a bit "weathered" over the time, it's still cool to see them up close. It would be amazing if they were repainted. The inside has nice, succinct signage and displays.

Great local pier. Cost $2 per person to walk to the pier kids 6 and under were free. $8 to fish off the pier. They did have discounts for certain things but didn’t take a picture(sorry). Got to see some sharks circling the pier! There was a dolphins cruising around. Also got to see a good sized sea turtle. Fishermen were pulling in some decent size catches that had the kids attention immediately. Great family walk through to spend an hour or two.

Bring your own pole and bait and you can fish for $8 plus tax. License included in the $8. I fished twice while on spring break but unfortunately only caught catfish - still a good time.

If your idea of beaching it, is actually fishing it. Then this is the place to come if you family want to get in the water, while you entertain yourself. Why? Because even though the pier is here, this is a very nice beach below and some facilities for changing your clothes next to that beach. I come here to take photographs of sunrises and sometimes, sunsets. I've arrived as early as an hour before sunrise and fishermen and women have already had their hooks in the water. To fish is $8, to just hang out on the pier is just $2. These are some of my best photographs from this spot as the sun has risen.

For 2 bucks you can walk the pier and see all types of sea life. Be careful of the guys fishing 🎣 they don't always look beforethe cast. We saw sharks 🦈, sea turtles, and dolphins 🐬. It was really cool. 100% worth it.

Came here to watch the sunset and sunrise on separate occasions. As a tourist I really enjoyed the views, the non-crowded beaches and the boardwalk. I would love to visit again in the future.

We came on Friday to fish for Spanish Mackerel and had the absolute best fishing day ever! We have fished several piers in several states on the Atlantic and Gulf, but this by far was the most beautiful water and most action we've ever had. The staff was great and we had no complaints. The crane named Fred was a trip, he has such an attitude and made us laugh a lot. He stole one of our mackerels off of the cleaning table. We will definitely be back!

Before you go. Make sure you keep up with your keys, cell phone etc. It's easy to loose something! But it's a great place to walk out over the Gulf. You can rent rods and buy bait and try your luck at fishing. Drink's and snacks are at the pier store on the Pier. After you fish or just watch you can walk back and enjoy eating at the local restaurants. You can also listen to bands playing next door. Worth seeing and enjoying the whitest beaches in the world. There are telescope's on the pier and fish cleaning places for the fisherman. At the end of the pier there are bathroom's! Important! Along the way there are some benches to sit and rest. You may get a chance to see the sharks. You can walk on the beach or go under the pier to get out of the sun. Great place for the family to enjoy and see the sites. You may see sharks at the end of the Pier and all kinds of fish being caught. There is a pavilion next door and the beaches are patroled by lifeguards and sheriff's office. Don't forget to make sure if you go swimming to watch out for the undertow it can take you underwater and also pull you out into deep water without any warning ⚠️ Please look at the flags as they fly ones of different colors that show you the kind of swimming hazard to expect. Be careful and enjoy! It's worth taking a little time out to just walk and see the Gulf. The beaches in the area are known for some of the whitest beaches in the world. So white that the sun will glare up and you can get sun burn under your umbrella so be careful. The beach, I was told is 98% quartz. That's why they are so white. Except when the seaweed shows up sometimes.

We just walked the Pier. Would have love to fish. $2 per person over 7 years old and the pass (stamp on your hand) is good for all day. 4 to 5 foot waves brought out the surfers so that was fun to watch and if course is one of the best spots for a sunset.

It was a nice pier. It did have nice views. But I'm not thrilled about having to pay to walk out. I can understand the fishing aspect. But not so much the pay to walk out. Then pay to buy other things out there. I personally didn't see the view to be all that great, but it wasn't bad. I actually liked the views back towards shore, being from a different perspective. Now I understand it's only $2. But truthfully I have seen a lot of great views of the ocean. But few charge you for it. Now don't get me wrong, it does have great views and is nice. It's not a waste of your time. I just wanted to add a different perspective than the same point of view that's posted in the reviews. I added a picture that shows the pier from a different angle than most pictures already posted in reviews.

Really nice pier area. We paid to walk only and price was all day access. We came back for sunset and it was amazing view.

Was a very nice well organized pier. For the small admission you can visit all day so that's really nice. We saw stingrays and a baby shark! Definitely a most go if you are in the area.

Awesome very wide pier with a great view of the beaches. We were fortunate to see a bunch of dolphins when we went. Many people come here to fish off the pier and they sell bait and possibly rent poles but there’s plenty of room to walk around and look at the beautiful views. It’s $2 to enter as a walker which is the best value you’ll find in the area.

It was a nice walk even though it was cloudy. There was a crane that came fully prepared to go fishing! 🤣 it was a little over $2 a person to walk including taxes and its an all day pass. Just watch out for all the fisherman!

A cool experience to walk up and down. But expensive for fishing (rental) when on vacation. After the bill was paid, the guy said, “not really catching much but catfish”. That was disappointing to hear. Went fishing anyway and was able to catch a few of the only fish in our area of the pier. Two Blue fish and A decent size pompano

Okaloosa Island Pier was nice. We didn't see dolphins, sharks, stingray like others have but there was lots of people fishing that day. The cost was only $2 a person to walk the pier.

My review for most part is based on golf course. It was scorching outside but each hole had a fan with mist to cool you down. Overall, I thought the course was amazing. One of the golf ball got lost in the sauce but an employee didn't mind fronting another ball. The inside has arcades and a VR area. Next door there is a shop that serves ices and candy. Much needed to cool down. I'm sure during the summer it gets packed quick. Definitely an adventure ✨️

Clean facility. Clean courses. Go kart track was nice size. The arcade part leaves more to desire but we went for the mini golf. They have a great small area for toddlers to play a quick 9 holes. Reasonably priced. Ice cream and yogurt shop attached was good.

We loved Wild willy. The go carts were a bit slow for my teens liking but they had fun. Also the golf was super fun. We loved all the games they had indoors. Definitely worth the money spent. Also super clean place and restrooms. Thank you to all the employees who work here. You are doing a great job.

This is a very nice putt putt golf facility. It is a bit pricey at $12 per person for 18 holes. It is generally well kept and the landscaping is fantastic. It would be helpful if they had staff check the course frequently for debris, there was quite a bit on many holes when we played.

We are locals and have not been here yet. We had some friends in from out of state and decided to take the kids here for the evening. Great place to have some fun! We enjoyed go carts, the arcade, put put golf and the climbing maze of ropes! Everyone had a great time, and we will be back!

Got a combo deal for the go-karts and bumper boats. The kids (ages 5-15) enjoyed it. I guess everybody was at the beach because it wasn't crowded at all for a Saturday!!

Great spot on Okaloosa Island with arcades, go carts, put put, frozen yogurt, ice cream, and so much more! If your looking to pass sometime I highly recommend stopping in to Wild Willys for some fun and games with the family!

Highly recommend the Dinosaur mini golf. We had so much fun and our toddler would've stayed all day if we allowed. The employees here really keep this place immaculately clean. As a mom of a toddler a business that keeps things clean does not go unnoticed. The arcade was surprisingly big for this building. We did just about every game and the only one not working was the dinosaur race/shooting sit-down game. The bathrooms were big and clean as well. We went in the off-season because we are locals so I can't comment on the Go Carts or obstacle course out front. Being local we are happy to have such a gem and we will absolutely be coming back.

Really good laser tag! Game seemed to last forever. The staff was extremely nice and helpful as well. Make sure to check out the ice-cream shop. It was the best we had our whole trip in Florida.

Such a fun place to go golfing and ride go carts! They also offer arcade, water bumpers, a trampoline. My three year old had a blast and he did the 18 hole course. We had a party of 6 on a Friday at 6 and there was not a wait. We had a lot of fun and the course was entertaining!

Place has many indoor & outdoor activities & arcades. However, it is VERY EXPENSIVE if you have a large family. Plan on a minimum of $100 per person. One thing they did not explain was that the arcade winnings are automatically added to the card swiped to play the game. Very convenient, like a casino, to handle winnings. However, each and has 2 different values. The dollar amount you load the card with to play the games and the winning ticket value, which can be used for more play as credits or "cashed in" for prizes. However, a newly loaded card with monetary credits will not show any ticket value for prizes until you play the arcade games & actually win tickets. To find out how much play credits are still on the card, you have to take it to the desk where you bought & loaded the card. The prize ticket counter can only tell you how much tickets you won & still have left. Example, we bought an indoor play card for $30. Played indoor activities like laser tag. Went to prize counter to see how much was left only to be shown that we had zero tickets (because we had not played any ticket winning arcade games. We still had money credits left on the card play either indoor activities or arcade games. So go to the right counters to discover credits & prize tickets. Winning tickets are added as credits so they can be used for more play or turned in for prizes. It was a bit confusing for us until we stated to cash in. I would give a higher rating on the variety of activities available. The only reason for 3 stars is because it can be very expensive and quite unaffordable for a large family. We are a family of 7. For all of us "play" or participate it was expensive compared to other amusement park day outings.

The mini-golf was really fun! Especially during the weekday, it wasn’t too crowded. The arcade though had so many machines not working I think almost every 4:1 was either inoperable or needed repair. Not sure about the price point how worth it because I went with a big group and we didn’t get the package with tickets. I can see taking littles here and they’d have a great time. The mini golf seems like a good value.

Came here for a birthday party. The birthday room and 3D movie was nice and fun. However, it's too loud and crowded so air wasn't so great. We had headache after been inside for less than 2 hours. Staff was friendly.

Decent sized arcade, super fun putt putt, the electric go karts were fast enough.

My kids had such a great time here! Mini golf, golf carts and the arcade were all fun. Not sure it was the owner, but he was so nice & kind and even gave my kids some extra time on the arcade games! All of the employees were friendly. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Fort Walton/Destin!

Great spot in Destin for putt putt! They had dinosaur and pirate themed courses with fair prices and a discount if you chose both. They were each 18-hole and well maintained with a variety of features on each. Our favourite feature were the animatronic dinosaurs and the mist fans that helped you cool off in the Florida heat. They also had a variety of indoor experiences and arcade games which are great for escaping the sun on a hot afternoon.

We had an incredible time here! It was nice and clean with a huge mixed game selection. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Destin. Next time I think we’ll purchase the $100 per person unlimited game play so we can play even more and ride the go karts.

What a fun way to spend the day! I used to love arcades, but somewhere along the way, I lost interest in them. Wild Willy’s rekindled that love! This place is great, and offers something for everyone. They not only have traditional arcade games, they also have laser tag, miniature golf, an outdoor tree top climbing area, bumper boats and a go kart track! Our party included people of all ages from 4 to 58; we all had a blast! There’s an indoor area with arcade games geared toward younger players, which is really nice. We played multiplayer games (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle), riding games(Motorcycle racing), VR games (Typhoon), skee ball, air hockey, and so many others. We also rode the go karts…twice! The arcade games require a card to play; pricing is available on their website. Just note that all attractions (go karts, laser tag, etc.) are purchased separately. Wild Willy’s is located on Okaloosa Island, so you’re very close to restaurants and the beach. There’s an ice cream shop, Yogo Mogos, that serves tasty treats. It’s located between the arcade and the go kart track. Our party was able to enjoy time together and make lasting memories! I hope you get a chance to try it out! Notable mentions: They do offer a military discount!

The museum houses interpretative exhibits depicting more than 12,000 years of Native American occupation. Thousands of artifacts of stone, bone, clay and shell are here, as well as one of the finest collections of prehistoric ceramics in the Southeastern United States. Exhibits also include artifacts from the European Explorers, local pirates, and early settlers. I would say it was a phenomenal experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Paid only like $5 to get in all 3 Sections. Take your time to appreciate its beauty. Staff was very friendly.

I’ve been to a lot of Indian mounds across the Southeastern United States & this is one of my favorites! Great for kids & adults! The museum had several interactive exhibits as well as a wide assortment of Indian relics & artifacts. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Also the gift shop has everything from post cards to research books. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent place to visit!! Very informative, kid friendly and fun place to explore! There was a place to make your own story with using the Indian symbols and the boys all loved it! Totally worth the money and and donation to help keep this place open! Also excited to come back next year on vacation to see what new exhibits they have! The scavenger hunt was also fun! Can’t say enough good things about this place!!

Great stop with a variety of local history of indigenous people and artifacts as well as early settlers. The friendly guide in the schoolhouse was really interesting and informative.

Friendly employees, knowledgeable. Interesting history on Natives and the original mounds found here. Old school house. Indian artifacts found in mound were interesting. Down side, very small so if someone buys tickets right behind you they are following you all along and makes you feel little rushed. Price, 5.00,is fine. But I've been to bigger places for free. But overall something different to do other than beach stuff.

This was a Gem to visit on me and my gfs last day vacation.. Definitely recommend for all ages the pirate and Indian history was fantastic love that they let you interact dress up as pirates and all cool!! The school house history was fantastic and the post office and such

We had planned on visiting the museum, but while we were waiting for the rest of our group, they rudely refused to let my toddler use the restroom, and tried to send us around the block. I was shocked at the lack of compassion for a little one about to wet himself. We decided to go elsewhere instead.

A fantastic little museum full of Native American history, and currently a pirate exhibit that's perfect for younger kids! Lovely staff, very kind and helpful! We visited with our luggage to kill time, and they let us leave our bags behind the counter which was so helpful!

There is a lot of history here!! Plus there's more than just the Indian mound there's an old-school 1800s post office and a Confederate Fort. So totally worth the journey It's a nice 30 to 45 minute learning experience about culture in America in Florida!

Very nice museum with a lot of information on native Americans from the area. Quite a few artifacts and a small gift shop area.

Came here on a Thursday morning and it got busy pretty quickly! The staff was great, they have a nice gift shop. We didn't go through the museum because we had to get back to our hotel but we did buy some cool stuff to support them, including a beautiful ring. The Mound was magical and felt like we stepped back in time just from simply looking at it. I love everything Native American and will always support anything I can.

I thought I was 1/8 Native American until 2 different DNA tests told me otherwise. One useless fact later.... this place is an unexpected delight in the middle of a concrete jungle. The artifacts have a distinct Incan vibe. The modern Freemason temple across the street from this historic temple indicates that there's more value to this location that is likely not fully understood by the average visitor. Hidden gem if you ask me. Be sure to support the site and locals through the gift shop.

Beautiful snowy white sand beach. Good restroom/changing facilities. Any day at the beach is a good day but white sand and blue water add up to perfect. Visit and enjoy!

We love going here for the beach. The Emerald Coast is just beautiful all along the panhandle. This location has restrooms, although not fancy at all. It usually has plenty of parking, except for a few busy weeks during the summer.

Love this beach for day trips. Free parking, clean bathrooms and great shops and restaurants in the area. They also have a neat little bin with sand toys to borrow.

Nice parking lot close to the beach. Was not busy at all when we stopped, very easy to find a parking spot. The beach is gorgeous with fine white sand and amazingly clear water

Amazing. Really. I've never seen a beach with such gorgeous emerald color. Compared to the Jersey Shore, this place seems ethereal. The sand is so white and feels like you're walking on mashed potatoes (not that I do that on my free time). There was plentiful parking at any time of day, it wasn't overcrowded, and there is no trash laying around. There's a couple standing showers where you can rise the sand off.

This place is awesome for morning walk and the evening sunset. People do came here for fishing and crab capture as well. One of our friend got a crab there. We saw a shoal of small fish in the evening. The bathrooms are clean and there is place for bath outside. The resources and place is well maintained. There are plenty of picnic spots for seating.

We went for sunrise service and it was amazing! It is a great park with plenty of parking. Clean restrooms and plenty of space to enjoy the emerald green waters.

Beautiful spot of pristine beachfront space. We came in town for a wedding and the bride and groom couldn't have gotten luckier to find a venue that suited their goals and guest list size better. The bathrooms were super clean and covered gazebo areas were a perfect fit. I couldn't find one piece of garbage in the sand on our entire walk. They do a great job of keeping up the area. Will definitely come back next time were in the area.

Restrooms and other areas are clean. Not too crowded. The beach itself is beautiful no trash and blue waters. Love that they have a borrow box by the front for the babies. A lifeguard is on duty. The only downside is parking is a little tricky. Still one of my favorite spots of all time.

Thoroughly enjoyed this park. I like meeting up with humans and their fur babies while searching for pretty shells 🤗and, I'm such a princess, I have to get the sand off my feet at the designated rinse off stations. Great place to visit if you have wheelchair bound folks.

The facilities are well maintained. This beach is clean and beautiful. It is very popular with tourists and within walking distance to restaurants and the aquarium. I recommend arriving early during the summer season as parking spots tend to fill up fast.

Great location on the beach. Lots of free parking. Several pavilions with picnic tables and sitting areas. Showers, bathrooms and changing rooms. Beautiful surroundings with many impressive sand dunes. You'll want to make a note of this place.

Excellent dog park with a dog beach, 2 enclosed areas that are separated for big dogs and little dogs who don’t like the more rambunctious group, and a dog wash station. The regulars are great and have really friendly dogs to help socialize. The park itself isn’t super clean and not great for kids as it’s a local homeless hangout but if you come during the day to the dog park I’ve always felt safe. The beach portion is on the bay side and is shallow for a long way out and I’ve never seen The water be rough there so dogs of all sizes and abilities can enjoy some water play.

As a tourist in the area I was looking for a nice dog park for my Cane Corso to go and enjoy some play time with me and cool off. This park was perfect. It offers a fenced off leash area for owners who are looking for that. What I loved was the open areas, all the shady trees, watching the ducks. Picnic tables were kinda gross…. Tooo much duck poo. Loki (my Cane Corso) and myself had a nice picnic on the grass, cooled our paws and toes off in the little lake, and enjoyed the shade. I did not go into the off leash fenced area but it looked nice with toys and some shade.

This park is really cool. On the water (beautiful sunsets) , boat ramp, playground, and picnic shelter. There's also a dog park and a beautiful newly constructed fishing dock. Lots to do!

Pleasant park. Educational signs about wildlife was enjoyable. The park is very large. Nice walkway along the beach. Has a dog park within the park. Which has a beach as well. So the dogs can play in the water. It's a fantastic place to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Love this park beautiful every park I go I walk around and pick up trash while my kids play. My kids loved it. Great place to take your kids. Sadly not far over the bridge the homeless like to sit. So if your in the area remember that and if you can help. Help if not don't look down on someone just because their life isn't going well. Also you don't know them so watch your babies. Nice park, not great drainage so deep puddles after a hard rain. Nice to launch boats. We enjoyed walking around the paths and the little fishing pier. Nice dog park separate from the launch area where dogs can swim. Check for water contamination notices and don't fish then or let your pets in the water.

We took a walk around the park and enjoyed the view of the water. We watched the dogs in the dog park making the most of the freedom to run and play.

Nice quaint little place to stop and launch a boat or kayak. There is a playground for the kids to play on and plenty of shade trees to relax in. There is a small pier to sit and enjoy or fish from. Handicap accessible with designated parking and restroom facilities on the premises. Dog friendly...just please pick up after your furbabies.

Very clean park with amazing views of the water. Family friendly with ample space to spend time with different members of the household. Safe kid area, separated from dog area. Enjoy pictures or a ferret on a leash!

The backdrop of this park is just magnificent. You can see straight across the water to Okaloosa Island. It’s so peaceful. Most of the dock and fishing piers were destroyed in Hurricane Sally which at this point was about 9 months ago and still hasn’t been replaced. The playground equipment has recently been updated and is pretty good, however there are already some broken swings and badly rusted chains and equipment. Homelessness has always been a huge issue at this park and the park about two miles away at the landing. Every pavilion is usually occupied by the homeless and their belongings. Overall we stop by here often. There is a short walking path with a cute little bridge which makes it a lovely spot to go and adore a sunset while having a relaxing walk before winding down for the evening. This park has potential. If it was any other town I’d give it three or two stars but honestly fort Walton beach I hold to a lower standard even though it has a special place in my heart.

Someone left their pizza box on the picnic table. It smelled so bad near the restrooms- I'm so glad no one had to use it! The swings need updated. They were very rusty. There was some trash on the ground where the kids were playing. My son loved the open space by the water to run and had so much fun climbing all over the playground. There was a sidewalk for people to walk around.

My boy loved playing on the beach! Definitely a day-cation more often as I only live 2 and 1/2 hrs away.

Once you walk in the smell of old musty smoke was a instant deterrent but did proceed and walk around, is a large area with a big variety but didn't see any prices that I would jump at, few things I did notice were actually priced over retail.

Cool store! Some deals are hidden you need to get in and find them. We did, I found a bowler and a coke clock! Both great deals!

Staff just sucks! The old ladys behind the counter are past shelf life, very sour attitudes, short, rude to say the least. Being a local there are plenty of friendly junk stores to visit in our wonderful little town.

Thought the place was closed down when we arrived. Clearly not maintained. Tried to not judge by the cover. Unfortunately, the inside wasn't any better. Mainly, the staff was extremely rude. We were interested in becoming vendors. After the way my family was treated, I wouldn't imagine putting my things there and encourage any more traffic. Hopefully we had bad timing on someone's bad day.

Great place filled with lots of possibilities. Some pricing is a bit high, but when vendors have a sale, you can find amazing treasures. I’ve bought several things from here over the past three years. Always, greeted with a smile and never have had any problems. I found a very rare vintage piece of Murano at this store for $20.00. Take your time and really look into what’s in each booth. We love shopping here.

A lot of random stuff to look at, but most of the people are very proud of their old junk and the prices seem a bit high. That said, this place has come in handy when searching for props or set-dressing for plays.

This place was different, it was full of just about everything u could imagine. The bad side is there is so much for such a small place, I felt it was cramped at times. The owner really needs to find something way bigger. We enjoyed ourselves but again it could have been better.

You can usually always find a treasure or two here. Some vendors are overpriced and some actually want to sell their items. We enjoy hunting here at times, but it's best to wait a few months in between visits so new items can be added to booths.

Sunday Market at Thai Temple! Cash only. Open Sundays from ~8:30/9 AM to when food runs out, which is ~1 PM. Recommend folks come by 11 AM to ensure they get everything they want since that's around when specific items start running out. Cash only - closest ATM is at the Six Brothers Food Store about a block away. Great food, great people!

We have been coming here for years since 2019 to be exact - this Sunday food market has never disappointed us , the best Thai tea & beef noodle around ! Pork on a stick is excellent too ! We love to take a moment in the temple afterwards & reflect ~so peaceful

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s still as great as ever. The pad Thai flavor changed a bit and doesn’t taste as authentic but the Thai noodle soup here is the best I’ve had. They changed the system so now you order everything at the front and they’ll call your number for your food. It’s much more efficient now because it used to be a long wait for some food items. Now you can wait for all of your food at once. No more farmers' markets.

Went last Sunday. Great good, friendly people both serving the food and the other patrons were friendly as well. Very family friendly with lots of joking and laughing going on.The grounds are lovely but please rememebr to be respectful. The meals are a fundraiser for the temple and I highly recommend a visit.

I’ve been going here for well over 10 years. This place is peaceful, nice, and has delicious food and vendors. I’ll admit it’s not quite the same since Covid which I hate to say has caused me to go less, but I still love this place so much! I miss the multitude of vendors with fruit and seasonings and dried peppers. One of my favorite places in the country. It’s one of the first places I go whenever I’m back in FL.

Very lovely. You can feel great peace coming from the Buddha Statues. Large are to sit in the shade. The flea market is 9am to 2pm on Sunday. We enjoyed the flea market. The food is awesome with generous portions. The monks are smiling always...

Even my cat loves the Thai Temple food! Sunday Thai Temple is our ritual. They no longer have the market here but it's still open for food.

Please come visit this place. We were pleasantly surprised when we visited here and found the lunch market they had going on. You exchange your cash for tokens that you can then use to buy food from any of the temple members. It's a wonderful experience and the food is amazing.

I have been a loyal customer here for 8 Yrs. I come almost every sunday with my family.The food is phenomenal, we will keep coming till the day we die. Thank you, Thai temple! Highly recommended to anyone!

They have Thai fruits and vegetables that are not at the local stores. Revised: 9/26/23 They stopped having Farmers Market in 2020. 😢 But they still have deep fried Thai chicken, which is normally sold out by 11 am. Also sticky rice n other cooked foods on Sundays. There will be a line.

The Indian Temple Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-3:00. The school house is open 10:30-2:30 Tuesday-Saturday. This is good info to have because Google says they open at 1. We went at 2:20 thinking we had plenty of time, and we were not able to go in the school house.

Really enjoyed the tour and traveling through time from the guides story. The elderly gentleman was friendly and kept us interested.

Informative, inexpensive local history. The volunteers had a lot of information to share about the schoolhouse and time period. The info posted throughout the Heritagrle Center was plentiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. Great stop if you enjoy learning some history.

A nice museum with knowledgeable staff. My family enjoyed the schoolhouse and post office best. The Indian museum has nice hands-on exhibits. It is a good experience for families at a good price! A tip- you begin the museum tour with the Indian Mound exhibits in the main building, however, we rushed into the schoolhouse first to get out of the rain and were allowed to pay at the end.

Went while on vacation. Had to wait to get in due to a class field trip present at the time. The mound is a replica and not as big as it should be. But that’s the only reason it loses a star. The museum itself is well laid out and informative. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. In particular, the woman working in the schoolhouse was fantastic. I hadn’t even planned on visiting the school and she made it the best part. Definitely a spot to kill an hour while learning something.

Hidden gem just east of the Brooks bridge on Okaloosa. With wide sidewalks for walking, swimming and fishing spots, a playground, boat ramp, restrooms, bosrdwalks,and several pavilions; there's something for everyone here. Heads up - the pavilions fill up very early. No pets allowed.

Beautiful park with tons of covered areas, grills and plenty of places to relax. Huge playground. Bathrooms are clean and it has one shower on the far side by the water. The boat ramp is well kept as well with its own bathroom. Perfect spot to sleep if you are truck camping/boondocking.

Quiet park with picnic tables close to the water and overhead shelter...grills available for use as well. First come first served! Boat ramp available with some folks lucky at fishing off the docks. Well maintained and clean restrooms. Shower head by the shore for rinsing after a quick swim. Nice addition to my list of favorite parks in the area. Will definitely escape here whenever I can. Bring lunch and stay a while!

Clean, family friendly park. There were a few short boardwalks to explore. There were several groups of people swimming in the ocean, which was much clearer water here than on the actual beaches nearby.

I want to say great things about this park, it has potential. nice playground and small quiet beach with a boat ramp. Ran across a few homeless appearing people using facility. they may have moved on. Folks please stop throwing your garbage everywhere. We are here on vacation and needed a good place to take a little one to play on a playground which was great. Place can use a good cleanup. it would get a 5 star

We like this park because you have play structures as well as water access. They have board walks to pick up and drop of boaters, a small shore line if you decided to set up for the day. Bathrooms are open for the public. The play structures are decent. I wish they would up grade that area a bit as it has been worn down from several storms. We recommend it as something different and a fun way to wear out the littles in the morning.

The Bayside rocks when the beach side is nasty or when there's red flags. A lot more wildlife. Good for snorkeling and finding hermit crabs, crabs, fish and today we had geese

Great spot to launch your boat or skis.... clean and easy ramp. Can be busy on weekends. Free launch. Bathrooms available and handicapped parking. Easy to get to crab island from here. We love this park. From a nice playground on one side to the shelters & wide beach in the bay side, there's something for everyone. Restrooms are convenient & there are lots of places to spread out & picnic.

Wow! What a FUN party!! Nonie does such a great job engaging the kids and holds a perfect balance between educating and entertaining. She kept 20 or more 6 year olds hooked through the entire presentation...no easy feat! They laughed, the parents laughed, it was awesome! It was a memorable experience for the kids to get to have the one on one encounters with such unique animals and reptiles! We used Nonie's Ark around 10 years ago for our boys birthdays when they were little, and her presentations are still just as entertaining and fun all these years later!! Definitely recommend her!

Ninie’s ark was amazing today at my daughter birthday party. She is a professional who knows how to entertain large group of kids and keep them interested. I never knew how brave my child is until she met Ninie’s animals. Highly recommend her services!

Wow! Above and beyond what I had expected! Nonie and her animals came to a party we had at the office and everyone (myself included) was captivated by her and the animals. The age range was from 2 into late 50s and everyone loved it. Nonie does a fantastic job of educating, holding the attention of her audience, and gaging the comfort level of both animals and kids. I was impressed and will definitely look for opportunities to have her come back. Thank you Nonie!

I took my Granddaughter to a summer program, once a week for six weeks Nonie taught the kids about nature, made a project and had a snack that went with the program. My Granddaughter loved it! Nonie's Ark was first discovered by my family at the Emerald Coast Science Center. Since then, we have been huge fans of hers. We even had her host a FANTASTIC birthday party for our animal loving daughter. She is fun, knowledgable, and entertaining. We ♡ Nonie's Ark!!

They have really nice plants this spring. If you know what really grows good here. I did notice some of the plants they sell are not suited for our climate and salty conditions around the water. Anyways a good selection all around...
