Such a great experience, I spend whole two days over there. If you wanna feel real fun you have to bet, I didn’t bet too much, but few dollars just for fun is ok. You can enjoy in the parks, drink and eat so many different types of food. I bought few cool souvenirs so it remains me to this cool place.

This was our second trip to Saratoga. We are on a mission to visit every major racetrack, especially the ones where Chad, Todd, and Brad race. It was a beautiful day and we got autographs and met all the trainers including Chad Brown, Linda Rice, and Jenna Antonucci. We made sure to stop by the Big Red Spring. It was disgusting, I didn't expect it to be carbonated. It tasted like carbonated metal water, RJ said it was "ok". We were told that it's an acquired taste and that it's good luck so down the hatch it went before we placed all our bets! We pretty much broke even at the end of the day so maybe it helped us a little bit, at least we weren't in the negative. Saratoga is our favorite racetrack by far. The grounds are beautiful and they have plenty of drinks and concessions all over the property. It’s always a beautiful day at Saratoga!

Saratoga Racetrack is an exciting place to visit. Racing occurs 7 weeks only. You can attend races daily, watch horses warm up, have breakfast at the Track, take a Tram ride to Clare Court to watch horses exercise to name a few activities. Food is available, parking on site for a fee. Downtown area close by. Lots of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

Saratoga is absolutely Gorgeous!!!! The races were, to say the least, EXCITING and FUN, and a wonderful place to vacation with friends and family and try your luck on the horses!!! Delicious restaurants and late night bars! We met some of the nicest people also. Sure bet on a good time for all❤️❤️❤️

If you don't like gambling don't go here. But even if you do like gambling I would suggest you limit yourself to a few dollars, certainly don't borrow money to bet here. The place is filled with rich people who seem to want to compete with each other in the display of their wealth. The horses seem to be very good and I have heard they race them here.

Easy to get in, regardless of time of day. You may have to park extremely far if you’re looking for free parking. Food options are limited to mostly warm food which on a hot day may not be desirable. Otherwise fun to watch horses race and plenty of places to stand.

Had a fabulous time! I was a bit disappointed that more people didn't "dress for the races", but it in no way diminished the fun of being there. Everyone was nice and friendly. They even have salads vs all the other fast food options normally available.

We loved the track and the grounds overall, the thing we had issues with was the 3 days in the turf terrace clubhouse. The view was spectacular, but there wasn't any room to move around. The tables were so packed together you were constantly bumping the person behind you when you tried to get up from the table, and if you were on the inside of the table, everyone had to get up and walk into the narrow aisle to let you out. It was like they crammed an extra table in each row of the seating areas. The food was decent, service was okay. Other than the over packed clubhouse, Saratoga is the one of the best tracks we've ever been to.

Great experience, I recommend doing this at least once in your life. Concession stands a great. They have so many different types of foods. I recommend reserving a table in advance in case it does rain. At least you're under some cover. The whole experience is awesome and watch the horses trot around as they warm up and you could pretty much go anywhere on the grounds. It's very laid back.

Very beautiful, enjoyed the races and walking around the grounds! Food and cocktails were surprisingly good, though a little pricey. Seats in the grand stand were comfortable and worth the additional price

Awesome location! Beautiful horses and lots of good food and drink. Recommend to make a dinner reservation well in advance if you want a nice place. General admission does not include assigned seats, but you can buy assigned seats for about $50 per person and get them underneath in case it rains.

Saratoga is a vibe of its own. The experience is enjoyable and there is something there for everyone from food to shopping to picnic tables! It pays to bring your cooler of water on the family days and your fancy hat on date days! Horses are beautiful, not my form of entertainment to watch animals run for human pleasure, but the crowd and ambiance is the draw!

Saratoga Race Course is a fun place to spend a couple hours or an entire day. One may picnic on the grounds, enjoy races from the clubhouse grandstand and roam around the area in between races. You may bring in your own food and beverages or purchase them from one of several vendors on site. The best part is seeing the magnificent thoroughbreds and the excitement of the races.

Going to the horse races in fun. You can get into the stands early and watch the jockeys exercise the horses. We also took a guided tour of the grounds. Very informative. You have to leave around 9 or so then the track officially opens for the day around 10. During this time we went across the street to the racing hall of fame museum. By the time we got finished there the track was open and full of people having a great time.

when you hear you are going tasting and to bring a cup, the last thing you think of is water. We showed up at a large beautiful park. The buildings on this complex look like the old Greek education centers. The buildings are red stone with awesome looking arches that give the illusion that they go on forever. This park has a number of different springs all with different flavors. History says it is believed that the limestone bedrock cracked and allowed the water to come up in different places through different minerals setting up their unique tastes. The Iroquois natives believed that the water had natural healing properties which was later passed down to the European settlers. Most of the water is naturally carbonated but there are at least 2 that are not if you don't like that sort of thing (like me!!!) Walking around it makes you think about how much you take water for granted. I turn on the faucet and water comes out. But that is not the way that it was for people 100 years ago. They had to search for water and know that it was healthy to drink. These special waters with their high mineral contents kill bacteria and make the water safe to drink (let's not talk about the tastes!!!). Wondering from spring to spring is like a thirsty treasure hunt, never knowing what you get until you taste it! This is an adventure that has to be tried at least once. To be on the hunt for that most basic of substances, water.

Beautiful place to come with family, dogs, alone. Trails for running, biking, and walking, places to picnic, gorgeous architecture, celebrate events. There's a creek, mineral spring geyser, just a great way to spend time out in nature.

Lived here 10 years ago for a little over a year and had no idea what this place really was. While visiting decided to actually walk around and was extremely pleased with the beauty of the park! The paths around are fantastic and offer incredible views, beware the trails can get extremely muddy. The perfect place for quiet reflection and just to enjoy the nature. Very cool to see the different springs and the way the mineral rich waters have changed the landscape. If you've got a free hour or so would recommend it!

Beautiful park in Saratoga. Park offers many different activities. Lots of walking trails and springs to see! Very cool spot to stop at as you make your way up north! Pet friendly, lots of parking, and clean restrooms. Small entry fee but worth it as park and facilities are kept very clean.

Mineral springs tasting is major part of the experience. Taking free tour at environmental center is highly recommended since guide explains what mineral content to expect from each spring. You can get some sort of hiking in Ferndell section of the park with some beautiful views of hemlocks.

Last night I wanted to Saratoga to see the grateful Dead for the last time. Last year touring it was really crowded. Took us 45 minutes to an hour to get parking and we waited in line over an hour or better. Missed 45 minutes of the first set but once we got inside they put on an excellent show. Really enjoyed myself. Very crowded and think of the sold out 40,000 or better a crowd that size. I think they need to get a little bit more staff and get their act together. Get people through the lines. I don't miss the show after spending a lot of money for the ticket and getting there

Surreally beautiful. The spring water bubbling up and out is a wild thing to witness. Some of the springs are natural water completely clean tasting, others infused with natural compounds add flavors of high iron and salt with heavy sulfuric odor. This is a beautiful place protected as a natural park removed from commercial exploitation and rightfully so.

Came here in the winter. Lots of things to see, specially the water springs. You can plan a whole day to visit here. Its better to park down by Polaris spring then it’s easier to reach to most of the spring without long hike. Spring water taste like lemonade and it’s really good.

First visit to NY. The reviews looked good so decided to visit. Definitely wasn't disappointed. The park is excellent for walking especially on a bright sunny day in February. Got to visit the spring in the centre of the park. Would highly recommend a visit. I'm sure the park looks even better in the summer but still looks good on a day where there is snow on the ground.

Beautiful park with lawn and pavilion seating. We bought our tickets online and enjoyed it so much we went to a second concert 3 weeks later. Highly recommend pavilion seats as we had thunderstorms at the last concert. Pavilion seating has its own restrooms, food and beverages.

Such a beautiful park with so much to see and explore, especially in the fall! I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a nice place to enjoy a picnic or if you're just looking to go for a scenic walk or hike.

They have some very great taste in water at this park. Filled up to 7 gallon containers to bring back to Niagara Falls. We will definitely be back in this park and we will definitely get some more water.

We found this stunning grove on a -1 F February day. Trekked to all corners aided by sunshine&daydreams. The park became a living de Chirico painting in grayscale.

Victoria Pool was great. Get there when it opens as there’s already a line by 10 AM & it can be tricky to get a chair. $8 cash or card. They have a cool book case with options to read if you don’t have anything. A bar with food outside, very convenient. The water is lovely. Gets a little dirty (overstuffed trash, bathrooms) by end of day but altogether a great swim with spring water and easy parking. Would definitely go back!

We only seen the exterior and did not went inside. Hall of Springs is a wedding destination. There were spas, golf, automobile museum show casing Bond cars, beautiful trails, children park.

This is an amazing space. I have to visit again when I have more time to explore. Looking at the space I tried to imagine all the people here conjugating for a spa. Left me a little puzzled.

This is a wonderful park with many places to sit for a picnic with the family. Statues, Spit and Spat, the Canfield Casino and Museum, and War Memorial are wonderful to experience in any season.

Wonderful park to chill at in warmer weather. Various fountains with both fresh and spring water. Beautiful statues, water, pavilions & paths. Great location for some lovely photo backdrops.

A lovely place, very pretty, quiet when I went, and a place I'd love to visit again. We tried out the different spring waters here. I wouldn't recommend it too much, the water at the state park just down the road is what you're looking for. All great nonetheless!

The day we were in Saratoga Springs it rained non stop. Despite the rain we still went to the park to see it. The ducks were amusing. The park is very nice with beautiful vantage points along the path. We did try the water from the 2 fountains. Can’t say I’m a fan of the flavor, but it was interesting to see.

We visited in spring and the park was incredibly lush, and well kept. There was a unique vibe about it on a Sunday. Kids can feed the ducks, safe spaces to run and there are some of Saratoga’s famous springs surrounding the park.

Congress Park is always a perfect experience. This evening was extra special because it was my birthday. We had spent the evening at a restaurant in Saratoga springs, and then enjoyed a walk in the park. I love that there are so many things to look at, including beautiful fountains and the amazingly historically preserved carousel. Spencer Trask and his family are basically the founding family for Saratoga. There is a lovely statue dedicated to their prolific giving and generous spirit. As we left the park we saw what looked like a flash mob dancing and singing. What it turned out to be was a proposal! It was an amazing experience that happens quite often in this park. It's a perfect location for those kinds of memories. The weather was perfect so it was an amazing walk in the park and a perfect moon for a perfect ending to a perfect evening with my perfect love of my life. Happy Birthday to me! I'm a very lucky person.

Date of visit: Saturday July 8th Gorgeous park with a Carousel Our first stop in Saratoga Springs was to the Visitor information centre (across the street from Congress Park), and the lovely ladies there advised us to check out the Park. We checked it out right away. The park is gorgeous, well landscaped, beautiful gated entrance. The park has a lovely walking trail to explore it all. There are a number of sculptures, ponds, and a creek running through it. The main attraction is the Spring water fountains that many tourists come to to try the natural spring water that the city is famous for. There is a carousel within the park that was carved by Marcus Charles Illinois. As avid lovers of carousels, we wanted to take a ride, but the carousel is cash only and we didn’t have any cash on us. Plan to bring cash if you visit so you can ride the carousel. The Italian Gardens at one end are beautiful and have a number of statues. There are bird houses throughout the park. This is a gorgeous first stop when you visit Saratoga, but don’t forget to check out the Saratoga Springs History Museum on property as well. This park would also be a great location to enjoy a picnic lunch. There is parking inside the park – but it is limited and very tightly monitored. If you park in a spot that is not authorized you will get a ticket within minutes of parking.

Such a beautiful park with rich history, it makes for the perfect early morning walk or afternoon stroll. I definitely recommend taking a rest on one of the many benches in the park so you can relax and take in all the beauty it has to offer!

Great place to sit and rest the legs after walking the main strip in Saratoga Springs. What a happy home for a flock of black ducks! The fountains offer plentiful habitat for these waterfowl, but they seem to enjoy human company more than you would expect. One duck was very interested in my camera! If you’re into close encounters with the avian kind, this is the place to be.

What a lovely park. Right off Broadway, beautiful and peaceful. Lots of cute baby ducks! I even saw a yellow one zoomin hard in that pond & a couple I met said there are never yellow ones! Lots of mineral water spring fountains to check out, a carousel, benches, etc. Meander over to Caroline street for a drink after :) just lovely at dusk!

We’re so lucky to have grown up here and have such a phenomenal venue to see various artist perform live. We have seen so many top music acts as well as the New York City Ballet and Philadelphia philharmonic. The facility has been upgraded over the years to where now one can purchase super yummy food, wonderful alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, fantastic coffee, high quality ice cream and pop corn. The lavatories to relieve one Self have been upgraded tremendously as well. And there is a good amount of security to make sure things don’t get crazy like they did years ago. I can not recommend this facility highly enough.

Saw a great show from the first row of the balcony. Fantastic venue for a show…took a walk on the lawn to see what the perspective was from the General Admission seats & large video screens detail the stage(which can still be seen from the lawn area)….packed crowd. Saw the Cold War Kids open up for Tears for Fears & loved it! Definitely recommend this venue, which is connected to a state park with an automobile museum, a pool, golf course, & park.

Went down for the Phish flood show. It was amazing. Showed up Friday and was raining non-stop until the show. Had general admission tickets, everything was just super wet but it is what it is. Had an amazing time on the yard. Good people everywhere. Saturday night got there early and made a direct path to general admission down by the fence. Had a super amazing spot right in the corner. Staff was super friendly. Waiting staff wanted to sell you drinks and whatever else you needed. The staff that worked there were amazing too. Watching them deal with the people was funny at times. The old ladies were so nice and friendly. Can't wait for another show.

Nice venue. We sat near the stage and it was really cool. The sound seemed better up near the lawn, but you can't beat the view and the shade of the seats. It has a nice park with good food vendors and cocktails, and a nice Pavillion with seats for the show

Large venue with quality sound and good seating. The only negative thing to say is regarding lawn seats. You have no view of the stage and need to wait until dark to view monitors. A good selection of beverages that come at a cost. This was the first time I was seated in the balcony row A. I had a full view and loved my latest experience there with the Outlaw Music Festival 🎶

We had so much fun here. This place is beautiful!!!!! Had a few strange encounters walking around the trails and parking lots surrounding the venue, but just be aware of what's happening around you, and you will be fine. The venue is very unique!!! Lawn was extremely over sold!!!! Venue employees here were a major pain as far as getting us all parked Friday night/ Saturday morning for Dead and Co shakedown. Like I said for other venues. You can't claim you didn't know we were coming. BIG THANK YOU to the local pd for telling the Live Nation employee guarding the gate at 2am to f-off, and let us all in. Once we all got in, it was an absolutely awesome few days. Thank you for having us all.

It was a great concert venue! Love the open space! Seats were comfortable, and ushers were helpful. Staff at concession stands were friendly and helpful as well. Security was a bit of a pain, because I was told that my small purse was too big to bring in. But later on, I saw people with bigger bags and purses on the premises. Parking was a mess. I little more help with visual aid to show where people need to go depending on what parking permit they have would be helpful. I wasted quite a bit of time waiting in line when I didn't need to be. But overall, the evening was spectacular, and a great venue for performances!

Went there for the Dead and Company concert on June 18th 2023. The place was beautiful. Was not what I was expecting for a concert venue. It was set in a state park and was like a giant college campus with buildings and open grass areas. Very nice. Then the actual concert venue is inside the park. And it seemed very new like it was upgraded. So. We had VIP tickets and that gave us access to the VIP entrance and lounge & parking. But we walked around the whole area and saw everything. Nice woodsy setting. Streams along trails that go from parking area to parking area. Lounge was great had never been in a VIP lounge before and it was great. 65$ for 2 drinks though, so be prepared. But nice bathrooms etc. That’s what wife was happy about. So we made our way to the seats they were VIP box seats so we had a waitress(which blew my mind) and was like 20 rows from the stage. But they seemed to not enforce the no one in the isles like other venues I’ve been to in the past. People were just pushing forward in the isles which I’m sure they weren’t even supposed to be in the area. And our box had like 6/8 seats in it but people kept coming in and just standing there causing us to be cramped and awkward. Usually in the past the security is tight on that stuff and just seemed to be overlooked for some reason. Seemed like they had over sold the concert cause the lawn area was jammed with loads of people glad I wasn’t on the lawn. But was a great experience and beautiful place.

Great venue... highly impressed with our seats in section 11. DMB never disappoints either.. The parking situation was well managed and despite the thousands of vehicles present, the flow of traffic was efficient and well run. Lots of employees and attendants available to help guide and direct patrons. Can't wait to go back!

Would absolutely come back here for a concert. Everything from security, to vendors, to ushers were like a well oiled machine. We sat in seats near stage but I could see how even the lawn was excellent seats. They have little seating areas away from the crowds. The drink options were fun and shareable. My favorite part was that the womens bathroom never had more than a few minute wait as they had an attendant calling out open stall numbers and handing out paper towels for hand drying. I've never been to a venue where the bathroom was not torture for women. So much to do in the area that was fun to do you could come up a few days before or stay after the concert.

Absolutely lovely place to spend time in for a concert… acoustics are sound! Overwhelmingly good vibes for this Band however over sold lawn tickets made it impossible to feel upfront… thx god for White Boards! Lol

SPAC is the greatest venue to see and hear live music. Set in Saratoga State Park, the views and trees and landscape is beautiful. I have probably seen over 50 concerts over the past 50 years, ranging from the philharmonic to the nyc ballet to rock bands including Sting, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Train, Govt Mule, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons and many many more. The Lawn Pass is the best ticket around, and once in a while, I splurge for an indoor ticket. Looking forward to Guns and Roses Sept 1, 2023.

Really fantastic concert venue. Sound is great, which is what you would expect for an amphitheatre. Staff is very welcoming and nice. They serve liquid death as water, which is always a plus. Lots of food options too. SPAC is a great venue that should emulated more across North America!

SPAC is a phenomenal place to watch any concert. Great venue with solid accommodations. Definitely gives you a feeling of a very intimate experience.

Nice, clean venue with great sound. I'd give it 5 stars, but the lawn is a little steep. It felt like I was standing on a roof while enjoying the show. Other than that, it was a good time. There's plenty of bathrooms and vending throughout the venue, and good selections for foods and drinks.

Beautiful venue, great sound, only downside is the obstruction of view but it’s because of the upper pavilion. Design flaw, but makes up for it in sound and ambiance. Truly beautiful place and have shared many good times with friends here.

The venue, crowd, and staff were very lovely. Had lawn seats both nights. The view of the stage was a bit obstructed in certain areas, best spot would possibly be middle of the lawn areas. Bringing your own lawn seats was allowed. Parking was nice as well easy in and out. Bring a grill some food and just hang out for a bit before the show. Would go back again. (Traveled from Illinois)

Good times. Unique and beautiful grounds. If you enjoy the artist greatly, spring for inside seats. Grounds, morphed greatly over the years. Can rent chairs. Clean bathrooms and extra porta-johns. Fun food options. Lots of choices. Some vendor tents will keep you occupied in the early hours. Very open. Screens could definitely be bigger. Lawn can be steep. If wet, drainage could use a little help so watch out for puddles. Could use some gravel fill. Either leave early or pay for premier parking. Or cool out waiting to get out.

Such a beautiful, serene place to visit. I love the history of this property, and I love that this space is available to visit (for free!) where you can relax and enjoy the gardens. If you want a guided garden tour, it's $10 per person and the proceeds goes directly back to the org maintaining the gardens, which are comprised of volunteers. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about Yaddo and the property's rich history and loves answering questions 😀 Some tips: bring your preferred bug repellant if visiting in the summer, don't wear sandals (😑) since there are no paved paths. The only thing that I hope can be improved in the future is handicap access. Wheelchairs or motorized carts would have a difficult time here.

Gardens open promptly at 11 and there’s a small parking area to access them. The rose garden is lovely with fountains, and when I was there the fountains and pools at the rock garden were empty. Still a lovely little stop- only took about 20 minutes to see the whole thing.

The gardens we saw, were beautiful. The "your guide" was knowledgeable, but tried too hard to be funny, and just came off as annoying instead. We went for an event labeled as"Haunted Yaddo Gardens" tour, and there really wasn't anything very "haunted" or "spooky" about it. IMO, just a way to try to drum up money, during the Halloween season, since it was a $10 admission fee. Then, after mentioning a few benefactors, and how a few people had left the Corporation money and houses in their wills, she wasn't hesitant to tell everyone that donations were always greatly appreciated, as the tour was ending. Also, the coordination of the parking situation, was VERY poorly handled. I might go for a tour of the gardens during the Summer, because they ARE beautiful, but that is about the only draw that I can see.

Nice quiet place to visit ...open to the public. This is an excellent place to go to take pics, or visit the rose gardens and think about victorian times

Beautiful flowers, walking paths, and fountain. Free to park and visit. I love that they are dog friendly! Great place to visit and bring your kids.

It was very early in the spring. The locals said winter lasted until just last week. I would like to come back when the roses are in their splender.

What used to be something meant to be enjoyed by the public has turned into a place that continuously shuts you out. The hours are slashed, tours are not offered and there is little to no communication as to why. Way to thank the public that has supported and admired the gardens for so many years.

Exceeded our expectations. Thought it would be a quick visit but we ended up spending 3 hours here. Beautiful and interactive facility full of beautiful art, trophies, and memorabilia. Super helpful and friendly staff, too! Highly recommend.

The National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame is a great museum that documents the history and thrill of horse racing in the United States. It is located in Saratoga because Saratoga has the oldest horse racing track in the nation. The museum consists of a few galleries and each one has unique artifacts and memorabilia. It should appeal to both a major horse racing fan and those who have only a slight interest in it. The museum’s movie on the thrill of horse racing is a must see. The film is narrated by Bob Costas and will give a feel for what you’re about to see in the museum. Be sure to see the Triple Crown Trophy near the front of the museum. Go through the starting gate they have and learn about the early history of horse racing in the US. Perhaps, some of the most unique displays are the chairs and scales they used for weighing jockeys. Along with this jockey silks from throughout the history of horse racing are along the walls. Also, the origin of the horse racing “purse” is explained. Currently, they have an exhibit on Triple Crown winner Secretariat. Lots to see in this display. A statue of Secretariat can be seen in the middle of the museum as well. Outside of the museum is a well put together display of jockey statues. The gift shop is well stocked and you can go there without purchasing a ticket to the museum. Not sure if the museum has more attendance during the racing season, but during the offseason only a few people were there. Stop by to see the museum when visiting Saratoga.

I'm not a big horse race guy but I totally enjoyed it and went 2x so far. The movie was very cool. Staff was awesome and so nice. My 2 boys 9 and 15 both also had a good experience. I say on average will be a 2hr time.

Fantastic experience right across from the Saratoga Springs race track! In depth displays, tons of awards and trophies. Lots to see. I loved all the statues of jockeys with their silks.

A really nicely done museum of all things thoroughbred horse racing. Admission for adults is $30 but they offer discounts to students, teachers, military, and others which the folks at the box office let us know about without even asking. There is a ~15min video that you really should not skip. The presentation of the video is interesting and the content was engaging. As for the museum itself, lots of thoroughbred racing memorabilia, sculptures, and plenty of interactive displays. It's relatively small but they pack quite a bit in there. You could rush through it in less than an hour, but if you take your time you can easily spend 2-3 hours

This museum is were you go while you're waiting for the horse tract to open. You will learn pretty much everything you need to know about the Saratoga track and horse racing that is worth knowing.

We all loved talking with Bill, he was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. It was our first time to visit the museum and it was very impressive. The Hall of Fame movie room was awesome, and after the show they had interactive screens where you could look up anything about any horse, jockey, trainer or anyone else that was nominated to the hall of fame.

This was my favorite museum in Saratoga! The movie theater is amazing. You have to see the 16 minute film! It’s an experience not to be missed. The museum staff are all very helpful, engaging, and friendly. They will guide you around if you would like. I even saw one helping to jump a visitors car in the lot. Outside the museum is a beautiful little garden with fountain. There’s also a neat row of jockey statues. Inside the museum you will see the history from colonial days to the present. There’s even a kids, hands on, area for playing where they can groom a horse, wear racing silks and ride a pretend horse and more. The museum is around the corner from the training grounds for the track where you can watch them practice early in the morning.

Great museum. I wish the Hall of Fame section had more, but chalk full of information and provides a wealth of info on the rich history of horse racing on the US going all the way back to colonial times. When I went, they had an extra exhibit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Secretariat's triple crown win, which was enjoyable. Overall, I recommend stopping down, especially if you are going to visit the track, which is just a short walk away!

Great museum honoring horse racing legends and its history. Very helpful and friendly staffs. Located across from Saratoga Race Track. Very easy to find and to get to. Lots of exhibits of history of racing. The hall of fame has a great short film. A lot of hands on displays and areas for kids. Great place for families with kids! A must stop when visiting Saratoga Springs.

I was in town visiting the sites and just came here on a whim. I went in knowing nothing about horse racing. This place was a highlight of my trip. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Bill was the best at explaining and making sure I didn't miss anything. The new film and theater presentation was top notch! I was so impressed. I've never seen any of the trophies before and was cool to see the different types including the various triple crowns! Bill also gave me some cool info on the racecourse and the upcoming events. I have a new found respect and understanding for the sport and it's history. Thanks guys.

I have no interest in horse racing, but after visiting this Museum during their kids' day I must say I am very impressed! The museum is bright and cheerful, with attractive exhibits that are of interest to kids and adults alike. The building's architecture assists with the enjoyment of the exhibits. There is an entire kids area devoted to horseplay, so to speak :-) but there are also dedicated days where kids visit for free, they have crafts and snacks, and you can even meet a real life horse! I enjoyed my time here and will be visiting again.

This museum is amazing. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. They let me in the building a little early when I biked there in the rain! The race riding simulator was fantastic-- the closest most of us will ever get to being a jockey in a race!! Their collection is awesome too. If you're at all a fan of horses or racing this is a must see. Loved seeing all the photos of the trainers, grooms, jockeys doing it all for the love of the horse.

Car enthusiasts dream! Right now they have a James Bond exhibit. It was great! There are cars from many different Bond movies and the screens near the car tell you about it and show a clip of the car in the movie! Even the kids with us were entertained! They have a wide variety of Bond cars including an underwater car, submarine, crashed cars, and more. Upstairs is there permanent collection which has a wide array from race cars to a model T Ford. The building is historic. It was the bottling plant for some of Saratoga’s spring water. They give the history in the museum.

I have visited this museum so many times over the years. Great exhibits that are added to all the time. I love cars and the docents are more than willing to answer any questions I might have. The James Bond show was wonderful to see.

Great little auto museum inside Saratoga Springs State Park. Plenty of parking. Has an EV charging station. Has rotating special exhibits and history of New York State racing. Few exhibit halls are being updated/renovated. A good short pit stop for families with young kids or car buffs. NARM affiliated. Would recommend this place!

AWESOME!!! This was a beautifully clean, informative and fun little museum. Very interesting even for non-car enthusiasts! The building was in amazing condition and had so many little details that made the experience so cool. Cannot believe how clean it was. Very nice staff. Wish there was more in the gift shop to buy, didn't see anything that caught my eye! The 80's theme cars displayed this season were paired with 80's music thought-out the floor! 100% worth a stop!

The experience blew me out of the water! I couldn't believe that they managed to bring the James Bond exhibit all the way too Saratoga, it was the coolest display ever!

Great expositions of cars from different generations and places. It was an extremely positive experience learning the stories behind car manufacturing and making the racing cars. The Ferrari exposition was on the current view.

It was better than expected. They seem to change their theme every 6 months but was definitely a good experience for someone that loves cars. I went to the Porsche RS collection showing which is only 1 of 3, this one being owned by Steven Harris. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We visited last week, and thought it was cool, but overpriced. It's $12 per person which felt like a lot for such a small museum. The cars were nice to look at but overall we only spent less than an hour there, and we looked at everything and read every plaque. We went to a car museum in Norwich NY, and for the same price, it had 10x the amount of cars and took hours to walk through. We did enjoy the 80s exhibit they currently had though!

Quite entertaining collection of Bond movie autos spanning several decades. Cars wrecked on movie set are displayed as is. Was quite surprised how many cars were sacrificed to movies production. Now, steep price of $20 per ticket for this small 2 story museum is the reason for only 4 stars.

Stopped here on a renew recent visit to the area and the James Bond display was incredible. The museum is hosting the Bond in Motion display which was showcasing some of the movie cars from the series throughout the years. This display has cars going back to the early movies with Sean Connery as well as the newest ones with Daniel Craig. The museum itself is also very well done with a second-floor having various types of race cars from all over the world as well as the local area. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed, a hidden gem!

This is a nice little - nearly unknown - museum in Saratoga Springs, with a pretty incredible James Bond exhibit ongoing. It was pretty impressive to see such a unique exhibit in this small town museum with so many cars from the actual movies. It’s worth a trip if you like Bond movies.

Fun place to spend a couple of hours enjoying the beautiful cars in this interesting museum. The museum showcased the cars in the James Bond films. It also had many other cars from historical cars like the initial Ford Model T to race cars.

A interesting auto museum in the old bottling plant located in the fabulous Saratoga park. A nice but small permanent collection on display. Its major focus is on curated exhibitions. My recent visit was for James Bond related vehicles. One of its best features is the informed and friendly docents .

Bond exhibit is incredible! Especially as someone who grew up on all the old movies; the small quarters of the museum allow for such close access to the vehicles. Also, upstairs is always a surprise and blast, can’t wait to see what’s after the Bond exhibit!

A very nice museum. We went for the first time today to view the James Bond exhibit. Bond was well done and a nice walk down memory lane.If you’re a James Bond fan it’s worth a visit to see the exhibit.

Everything was good here. From the very onset the post and beam interior to the beautiful deck and surrounding grounds proved to be matched only by the diverse menu and amazing flights. Our favorite wine was a red Saratoga, and the beer flights were on point. We expected lackluster food but the food was exceptional. The service was good, staff genuine and responsive. This would be an excellent spot for an event or pre wedding rehearsal dinner.

I’ve been many times. But the last was a bizarre experience when I was questioned on my way out by a patron possible owner… about my experience. And then confronted by the bar server about my experience. There was less than ten guests at the time we arrived and were served. It was very slow still for service. I still really didn’t have any concerns. But when I left an apparent patron possible owner kept questioning me about my experience. And in the parking lot the server asked me if I had a bad experience?? I told her no…??? She stated she didn’t receive a tip.??? Omg… I didn’t pay the bill… I gave her some cash out of my bag. Bought appetizer, a wine flight, and a beer. Also purchased two bottles of wine. 78 plus $ bill. I was told by my significant other he tipped on the order not the purchase which would be separate. So embarrassing… I have no word. I rent out of a spa and I would never embarrass a guest like that. We usually stop annually I don’t know that I will return. These younger generations don’t treat customers adequately…

Made reservations for a birthday a month in advance. The morning of, I called to update the amount of people attending and to let them know some would be late (res was for 10 people at 1pm). Woman who answered the phone said that’s no problem at all. We get there a few minutes late (one person with my party showed up on time and they wouldn’t seat her..) we get sat… at 1:30, the server approaches the table to tell us the kitchen is closing within minutes due to a wedding and the bar closes at 2:30.. needless to say I was a bit upset as the restaurant should have communicated that WAY before 1:30pm the day of. And then the server had an attitude because we were upset. It was very rushed and the situation was handled very poorly. Had I known about the wedding, I would’ve booked the reservation elsewhere. Food was great. Drinks were great. Service was horrible.

Had an amazing brunch today with my friend at Saratoga Winery. The vibes were immaculate. I actually said “wow” while eating my Swedish meatball Benny three times it was that good. We shared the mimosa flight and every single flavor was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

The winery was fantastic. The outdoor seating was beautiful as were the rest of the grounds. The wait staff, particularly Brady, were very informative and friendly. We tried a flight of the sweet wine and a flight of the cocktails. I had no complaints with either. We also ordered a pizza which could've had a few more minutes in the oven, but would gladly go back here if we were in the area again. Be careful if you're using an iPhone to navigate here because I don't think they have the right address listed.

Went here on a Thursday night. Gin-gle juice was phenomenal. Our waitress was attentive. We got the cheese board with meat which was delicious. I would recommend getting this if you go. Great meal to split for 2. We then got the pistachio cheesecake for dessert. It was good but lacked pistachio flavor. Overall I would return.

We came here for my best friends bachelorette and the staff was wonderful! We all loved our food and thought it was priced reasonably for the area. The different drink flights were super cute too.

This past weekend my daughter and her husband were married at the Saratoga Winery and everything was amazing! The owners Annie and Andrew were so kind and gracious. Kameryn did an awesome job coordinating everything and the entire staff worked with us to ensure every detail was just the way Amanda and Derek wanted it. The food was amazing and they accommodated all of our food allergies! The venue is fabulous, it has rustic charm that makes everyone feel comfortable immediately. We can't thank everyone at the Saratoga Winery enough for making this day so special for Amanda and Derek as well as their family and friends!

We had a great experience here today. Great hummus, veggies and pita bread, along with thin crust wood fired pizza. The wine and beer flights were a nice variety. The place was hopping!

This place was highly recommended to us from local! We appreciated a broad brunch menu and attentive and friendly service from our waitress. We skipped the wine and had Bloody Mary's and had salad, egg skillet and a pizza - all were good to average. Ambiance was nice at the high tables, plenty of others were enjoying mimosas or wine flights. We look forward to returning when we can enjoy the outdoors!

We stopped here on a weekend trip and got a seat at the bar! It was very busy so reservations are probably a good idea. The pre selected wine flights were delicious and the charcuterie was on point! Everyone was so friendly too! They did close early for a wedding so look into that if you’re going summer/fall.

I went here for a ladies brunch with my family. The server, Matt, was wonderful. He was patient and attentive. The drinks were great and so was the food. The falafel nachos were interesting and delicious. We will most likely be back again.

My husband and I got married this past weekend at the winery and I can’t say enough good things! Annie and Andrew were more than accommodating. Kameryn and the rest of the staff were the best and made our wedding so easy, so special, and so fun! I would recommend having your wedding here anytime of year! They will take the best care of you and your guests!

Great brunch spot! Great food and service, suggest reservations on busy days. Our family has been here many times over the years, never disappointed. It's a bit pricey but well worth it.

The people here, including the historian, were gracious, knowledgeable, and, more importantly, had maps, a rarity in this age. Nothing can replace a good map. Online is good, but it can not show direction part its screen or comfortably convey the breadth of a long trip. A screen map can not be used for real estate acquisition use either. We use maps when we need to. Get as many as you can. In a decade, they will likely no longer exist.

Took the 90-minute walking tour this morning that started from the visitor center and ended up at a nearby casino. It is about a quarter of a mile walking tour. Our guide, Judy, was fantastic. She is a retired history teacher and knew the history of Saratago Springs extremely well. Taste the mineral water from a spring that has been in operation for 200 years. Enjoy the game rooms of a casino that operated during the mid-1800s.

Very helpful staff located right on the main hub of town . We did the 90 minute walking tour which takes you through the park and museum. It was very informative , the guide was very knowledgeable, and the park is very nice to walk through.

Spent the night on business in Saratoga Springs. What a surprise when in the morning I went for coffee. What a beautiful little town. Stopped by the visitor center looking for postcards. The woman behind the desk was Soo nice. She sent me to a little store named impressions. Everyone here is soo nice and kind. I am definitely coming back!

It's a very nice and clean place to stop by to get info about the area. There is a 15-min video with highlights, though it could use an upgrade to higher definition. The staff was very friendly. It's a little tricky to find the small parking lot for visitor center: enter from a tiny driveway behind the visitor center right off Congress St, next to a USPS mailbox.

Conveniently located on Broadway, right across the street from Congress Park, the Visitor's Center is a great stop to familiarize yourself with the area. There are many free brochures and maps, and friendly staff who are very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question about Saratoga Springs. There is a multimedia presentation, gift items, and historical museum pieces as well. Don't be surprised if you are handed paper cups and invited to sample the mineral springs in Congress Park across the street! It's very impressive that the city has provided such a valuable resource for visitors and residents alike!

A small museum but packed with information. The building itself has an interesting history. The exhibits are well laid out and engaging. The tour was informative and the docent clearly has a passion for dance which showed. We started much longer than we expected and enjoyed every second. Bonus was we came on a Tuesday which was free. Highly recommend going if you're in the area.

Hosted my daughter's wedding 10/21/2017 at the museum! Ceremony in the gorgeous foyer, cocktails in the solarium and tented reception in the Courtyard! Jo was so helpful recommending Nicole's Catering and Clifton Park Rentals for tent, lighting, and farm tables! The wedding was over the moon beautiful..guests were raving over the food and ambience...and Jo helped us put it all together. Couldn't be happier...Thank you Jo!

Went for a friend's birthday party and the staff did a nice little craft project with them before they went upstairs to play. The room was a nice size and set up perfectly for preschool age children. Upstairs lots to do for all of the kids and families.

I brought my 3 year old daughter here recently and we had a blast! The museum is housed in a large 2-story building, and there are so many hands-on and roleplaying activities available to engage young minds. Our favorite place to play was the pretend market/post office upstairs! There's also a pretend bank, schoolhouse, and diner--Seriously such a fun place where kids can spend hours roleplaying! They also have fun short workshops available at certain times that introduce scientific topics to the little ones. Overall you could spend hours in this place and still come back later and find something to do! We'll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time with my almost 3 year old. The exhibits are great! We went from 1-4 and he had a wonderful time exploring every exhibit and meeting other kids. The front desk staff is fantastic. There was a little bit of a wait because they close for lunch and there's an influx of people around 1 when they reopen, plus there was a birthday party going on. Apparently local libraries have memberships to museums - we're going to check it out because it's $20 for an adult admission.

Great museum that seems new. Everything was clean and In working order. It was $10 for kids and adults to enter. There are 2 sessions. One is 9-12 pm and then 1-4 pm. Staff were really helpful and interactive with the kids. There are building rooms on the first floor for different age groups. One had construction item with bolts, nuts, and washers to create with wood. The other had many play stations set up at tables with things like sorting, magnetic tiles, and puzzles. Upstairs is the main play area with tons of exhibits with different themes like a farm, treehouse, and ice cream parlor. There are also two learning rooms with projects that have staff to assist. This place is great for kids ages 1 to 10 or 11. It’s housed in an old bath building which is neat.

This is not a museum, lol. It's an indoor play space, a fairly nice one with a variety of "locations" like a forest, old time diner, schoolhouse, etc. That being said, the toys are old and kinda piecemeal. The locations feel empty and in need of a makeover or additional props. There are also a weird number of employees, like at least four or five, when I don't see a real need for more than two or three at a time. $8 a person is a lot for the entrance fee, thought you can stay all day and it's a good place for your kids to have some creative play. If you are library members, you can get in for free with the Clifton Park library pass. There is a unisex bathroom and wheelchair accessibility. It's in a fun part of Saratoga Springs, with walkable restaurants and cool old houses to stroll past.

This museum is tiny. And I am not even sure it constitutes as a museum. While there is some knowledgeable information provided, I feel it is more of a play place with knowledge sprinkled in for good measure. That said, the activities here can be fun. The flashing lights of the fire engine, the "make your own sundae" shop - sponsored by who else but Stewart's, and the occasional things in the STEM rooms make it what it is for my little guy. Seeing how we are about 40 minutes away from this place it is not likely we will ever justify getting a membership; there is simply not that much variety to keep our kid entertained enough. However for the occasional trip it is worth it. Just be warned, again, this place is tiny. It gets full real quick and then it can become a competition of who gets to play with what and when. Also, the lack of room makes it seem that one is always in the way or on top of each other. This may not be a problem for some, but those with social anxiety, like myself, or those with kids who may not do well with others it might be best to look elsewhere.

We loved there. It was very fun and good for children. There was a lot of science and deep information inside. And a lot of things they wanted to experience. I loved every detail inside. Everything was very fine and child-friendly. You will definitely enjoy this experience.

Great place! We went on a Saturday morning and within an hour it was packed but it was still fun! A little costly to go to watch your kid explore frequently BUT we will be getting a membership next time since we plan to go often. This place has everything for your child to explore and work their fine and gross motor skills. It's also a great place for your child to learn to interact with others if you're a stay at home parent or homeschool your kids!

I couldn't be more impressed with this treasure if I wanted to! Kudos for an amazing space, with tons of interactive play and tiny sized imagination adventures. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved it and so did we! We'll be back with the other grands as well!

This place is clean, neat and has so many activities to do. They’re always having arts and craft classes for kids and on your way out there are some old books and toys they no longer need so children who do can take them. Definitely a 10/10. Staff are friendly too.

We moved away a few years ago, so we visited today while visiting family and we really had a great time! My first time at the new location and really sad we can't visit more often! Even while busy it wasn't overly congested inside. The fire section is awesome, my son could've done that all day! The only negative is that there seems to be a bug problem...LOTS of (what I think are) seed bugs. Brown and crawling around in some of the areas. My son doesn't like bugs at all so it ruined some of the spaces.

Perfect for kids of age 18 months and above. Our toddler absolutely loved the fire truck! We have already visited 4-5 times in last 2 months.

Oh my we went to the children's museum at Saratoga today for our son's second birthday and we all had such a wonderful time. My father (Grandpa) had never been to a children's museum and he was in awe. My wife and I are visiting from out of state and this children's museum is cream of the crop. We've visited many over the years and Saratoga's takes the cake. This is such a clean and well run children's museum it was amazing we would highly recommend it to anyone in the area or visiting. Our son barely scratched the surface in the two plus hours we were there before nap time. We will be back many times into the future. Tip of the hat to the hard working staff who work there and make sure it is a memorable experience for our little ones. Thank you all for what you do.

It was a tremendous learning experience. My friend and I intend to return to learn more that we weren't able to cover in our first visit. The staff was outgoing and well-versed in all areas. It was a very pleasant museum experience and I highly recommend it!

This is one of my favorite museums in our area. I am passionate about our veterans and this museum is always paying tribute to them. Recently I was there and toured through the Vietnam War section with Garth LLoyd, a Vietnam vet himself. The staff is very helpful, the exhibits are periodically rotated, the exhibits cover many wars, highlights Saratoga, and this museum is free - I hope you go.

I didn't actually go inside because I was unvaccinated at the time. They do require mask for unvacs, but I greatly enjoyed looking at the outside of the building and the two items they have displayed. The brickwork really is wonderful

Went there for the American Revolutionary War exhibits and enjoyed every exhibit for a the wars and conflicts. Very informative and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a visit !

Perfect expositions throughout history. Good collection of artifacts. Well-designed apace. Kind and helpful docents.

The New York State Military Museum presents a great collection of military artifacts and exhibits! The museum displays artifacts from every war that the US has been in. They have so much to see and there is no charge to get in. Each war is presented in very good detail. American weapons and clothing are displayed from every war, and there are also enemy uniforms and artifacts displayed. Panels also tell the stories of individual soldiers in each war who were from NY State. There were even Medals of Honor given to different soldiers that were on display. Each war display exhibit seemed to have some object I had never seen before. From the Vietnam War display were VC communication tools and Ho Chi Minh sandals. From the Korean War, a prosthetic hand. From the early Cold War a Civil Defense Sanitation Kit that was meant for use by many people for several weeks in an underground bomb shelter. Perhaps the most unique artifact was Elmer Ellsworth’s Civil War uniform. Ellsworth is often considered the first casualty of the war for the Union. He was shot and killed after he removed a Confederate flag from a hotel near Washington DC. Each war display section will have something that is hard to find somewhere or simply cannot be found anywhere else. Not all of the museum focuses strictly on military weaponry. There are excellent displays of propaganda from WW1 WW2. Medical kits from different wars are also presented. Since war is such an encompassing event for a society, they are able to display much information on how American civilians played a role in winning wars for their nation. If you are really into history you can spend a great deal of time at this museum. For most you can probably see everything in a little under two hours. The volunteers and staff do a really nice job at this museum and can help you with nearly anything. This is a museum you can’t miss!

Great place to visit. Learn about military history as it relates to New York State. And as they will tell you, it's the only free museum in Saratoga Springs.

Incredible. I had really no expectations about this museum, and was blown away. Completely unexpected level of exhibits. And the best part. Free! I was happy to donate, but free to the public is a welcome surprise. Super personal exhibits That have retained the details, and humanity of the very people whom donated. Spent at least an hour and a half to see everything.

This was really interesting and informative. Lots of detailed exhibits and plenty to see and learn. Even had a fun little scavenger hunts for the kiddos and a prize at the end for them. All around a great experience.

The museum hosts a very comprehensive range of exhibits spanning the countries history of military enagagements and does an excellent job of summarizing the broadstrokes of American military conflicts while also focusing on New York's role in such conflicts. One could dedicate an entire visit to a particular section of the museum with plenty more to return to see. There are helpful guides available to answer questions and admission is free.

The Saratoga Springs History is the history of everything in Saratoga. From prehistory to the present the museum presents three floors of Saratoga Springs history! The museum is located in the historic Canfield Casino. After you purchase your ticket you will walk through the well stocked gift shop and then into the museum. Exhibits on the first floor include an early “ice casket,” Native American artifacts, an early waterpipe, rocks from the Springs, and items from the Canfield Casino. After going through the first floor you can go up to the second. On the second floor are some very interesting displays on the history of hotels in Saratoga. Many people don’t know that at one time Saratoga had the world’s largest hotels. Artifacts from the hotel era include furniture from the Grand Union Hotel and United States Hotel.There is another room on the history of the “springs” in Saratoga Springs. Finally, there is another room that is kept in the style of the Canfield Casino. The room here gives info on people who opened the Casino, ran the Casino, and famous guests of the casino. There is also a display on the founders of the world famous Saratoga Horse Racing Track. The third floor also puts together many interesting exhibits. One room has an actual courtroom for the city of Saratoga. There is another room on the history of the “springs” in Saratoga Springs. Portrait art made by a Saratoga Springs artist from the 19th century is also on display. Finally, more Native American artifacts are on display. The museum truly captures everything “Health, History, and Horses!” Parking for the museum is free and you can usually park in front of the museum in Congress Park. The staff at the museum is friendly. This is a can’t miss for locals and a great stop for those visiting Saratoga.

Saratoga Springs History Museum is a delightful setting for learning the history of Saratoga Springs. There are three floors explaining how the Springs were discovered and their use. Worth a visit. Gift shop.

This is a gem right in the middle of Saratoga. If you can, definitely start with a guided tour then go at your own pace to see the exhibits, 3 floors chock full of interesting local history. The ball room that the tour guide showed us was incredible. So many stained glass windows (be sure to find your birth month in the ones on the ceiling!) and intricate details make this a must see part of the museum. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time here, because the signage for the exhibits is very detailed and if you're like me, you just have to read it all. Be aware parking is limitied.

The city known for Horse racing, and a history of gambling, became a mecca for the rich and elite to come to Saratoga. The museum has artefacts from many areas – industry, architecture, hotels, gambling, and the spring water that the town is known for. The museum is located in an historic building in the heart of the Congress Park. The building used to house one of the original casinos from the town’s hey day. The building is also an old manor house – and each room in the museum houses a new exhibit.

Three floors of fun, very unique Mourning display, great history and learned alot about Saratoga. Children under 12 free.

Awesome late victorian gilded age museum. A step through time and full of curiousities. The tour is worth taking.

So much history to see and read about, we did the guided tour and we were amazed with how knowledgeable our tour guide was, he did an exceptional job! Such a beautiful building that has so much to show. If your a history buff I definitely recommend stopping by!

We wanted to skip the noon heat, so we just came to check this out. For an Indian where the historical counts go back to 100 AD, when I see places showcasing the vanity of white gentleman's club from the 1800s, I am not impressed. Waste of time, unless you want to skip the heat outside. On the ground floor, by the gift shop, you'll see only 2 panels worth of actual history on the geology and native culture of this town. After that, the whole building is a glorified tribute to the gentleman's club for men to drink, gamble, and have women in the dining area ready when they "needed them."I guess after all the high testosterone gambling, horse racing, and "deal making" that happened in this building, men need women for the final outlet of all that male energy! (The tour will give you details of the gentleman's club) The building is now also a very resonably priced wedding venue. After all that gambling history, I guess it's only appropriate that people get married here now. The museum is also a good reminder of how human vanity and overexploitation of natural resources (i.e., the springs) have severely shrunk them from their abandunt glory 200 yrs ago. Good lessons to learn, even from a place like this one!

Visited this museum earlier today with some friends… Very relaxed lots to see and learn, and a really friendly guide to help provide the context for what we were seeing. Certainly recommend stopping by here and I would recommend planning an hour.

Oh the history! This museum is pretty simple to walk through and you can easily read (and hear) some of the events that happened in this former gambling casino. At the entrance to the museum you will see to your right the ballroom that is reserved for events like weddings and etc. To the left you will be greeted by the museum host who will charge the entrance fee and will explain and overall of the museum, then you can start your self-guided tour along the 3-levels of history inside the building.

It was a very historical museum. Even though it was a weekend, it was a calm, peaceful environment. There were interesting products in the gift shop. However, there was no tour guide service. Or we were not informed about a guide. It would definitely be more beneficial to visit with a guide. But I recommend going either way.👍

Many great exhibits, changes frequently, friendly staff and I love that it is free. I visit several times a year and spend about 2 hours there. I wish that there wasn't so m,uch empty space inside, I feel like there could be more art to enjoy.

Been taking my kids here since I had to carry them through the museum, but went today and found out they’re segregating Healthy people and not allowing them to view the art unless they’re vaccinated. I thought Skidmore had a science department, if you follow the science you know that natural immunity is as good if not better than the vaccination which we know now doesn’t work. Very sad for all the students and the community for being forced to put a drug in them just to view art and attend school. Funny that Skidmore advertises how extremely healthy the food is in their cafeteria. Now they say they’re socialists but they’re forcing you to get a vaccination from capitalist companies, the hypocrisy flows heavy here! Hopefully future artists and donors will cut off funding and not show their art at this factory for wokeness! Shame on all involved!

Great little modern art museum. On the beautiful Skidmore college campus by the athletic fields. Free!

Loved the special exhibit of Paula Wilson's work, and I enjoyed the other exhibits and the general atmosphere as well.

Family events are fun and the staff do their best to engage with children. My kids loved the focus of Space this time around and enjoy the art activities. Just make sure to show up a bit earlier because of limited supplies. They did their best with no prior knowledge of how many people actually wanted to partake. It was a great experience all around definitely doing so again .

The Tang Teaching museum was amazing. We were lucky enough to get a full tour from our friend and client. The moment you enter the space it is inviting. The exhibitions are carefully curated and fit the museum space perfectly. There is no unused space, there is even an elevator exhibition The architect Antoine Predock made sure that the space fit the vision for the space.

A great educational museum that hosts a monthly Family Day open to the public. They're also open on Tuesdays, which is a great plus.

FLEX just opened at the Tang. It's provocative - how do we define strength? What is beauty? What is the connection between the body and art? Definitely worth at least one long visit and much reflection.

It's free and takes 60-90 minutes to get through all of the art depending on if you read all of the wall descriptions. When I was there there was nobody else in the art exhibit and all of the monitors were able and willing to talk to us about the pieces of art in question which made it very fun, interactive, like it was a personal tour. Honestly I will be going back every time they have a new display. The special exhibit was fantastic, the people pleasant, and art beautiful.

We had a great time at a birthday for our 27 y/o daughter. The small group guidance was very nice. The location was easy to get to with parking across the street. I would say the price was a little steep but understand how material costs have skyrocketed over the last few years. A similar 2019 experience in San Diego was significantly cheaper. Overall, we would do it again and recommend it for friends and family.

Fun studio with really cute and creative paintings. Leaders are great teachers and help guide you to painting something you love. Nice selection of candy, snacks, drinks and alcoholic beverages. Most non-alcoholic items were $3. Everything you need is included: paint, brushes, canvas, etc.

It was a lot of fun! The instructor was great as well!

I loved this activity! Drank my bottle of Moscoto and painted a great canvas for Halloween 🎃 Instructor was friendly and very helpful.

We love Paint and Sip! Most recently, we held our daughters birthday party there for a unique winter experience and everything from scheduling and coordinating with Mandy to the actual event with Katelyn was seamless. They helped to organize food delivery, planned fun little side events to keep the littles occupied and even were able to face paint in between painting and dancing. We will look forward to coming back again soon!

I attended a paint and sip event at this studio and had an amazing time. We painted the Northern Lights. I'm not an artist but our instructor was kind, patient and encouraging. The location is also super convenient--I was able to grab a quick bite at a restaurant nearby beforehand. I look forward to attending again!

I am sorry to say that this location in lacking in all sorts of ways. We were all excited to go and paint “Dancing in the Rain”. We were not greeted upon entering. The instructor was not enthusiastic, descriptive and was very slow at moving to the next segment of painting. The instructor was not centered in the room so it was hard to see what he was painting. The paint was not good; it was thin. The paintbrushes were overly used and dirty. There is no sink readily available for patrons to use for washing hands or changing brush water. The class was from 7 to 9 pm and we were only 2/3 of the way through at 9:10 pm. This paint and sip experience was very disappointing.

Such a cool place! There’s something on the walls anywhere you look!! So many beautiful pieces to see and buy! Our class was fun and easy to follow with our teacher, Casey. She was so friendly and energetic!!

This was a bit of a rip off. We got there, parking tough in Saratoga. We get set up, after paying more $$ for bad wine. Staff Mary stood up, help up wine glass and said "paint lines like trees from bottom up then use your imagination" The attendees had to make her repeat as we could not see or hear her. She got back up and held up a small canvas and painted a black line with same instructions! We asked for real wine glass to drink our bad wine from but were told no, saving for next class lol. So the 6 of us ( $240 plus drinks) made the best of it , which one should always do. No one checked on us the whole time. WE were still painting when they announced it was time to get going toward home as they had another class coming in. Insult to injury ! It's OK. Friends and family joined and next time we will just gather at one of our own houses. DO NOT RECOMMEND

My friends and I came here for a birthday celebration and had an absolute blast. Ali did a phenomenal job at keeping us entertained and engaged in creating our paintings. Highly recommend! Give this girl a raise!

Took a class with my husband on NYE. Instructor was fun, music was great, experience was a perfect date night. Highly recommend.

No art skills? No problem! The instructors are very friendly and helpful as they walk you through making your own painting, and the results are likely to be better than you thought you could do. I saw some truly stunning art created at my class! The atmosphere at Paint and Sip is fun and welcoming, even for kids — I brought my 8-year-old, and she had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and we always believe in supporting your local businesses. We were very proud to see so many hard working, creative people throughout the market. We tried the man who makes all the spices and flavorings they were great, can't forget about small batch Lake George moonshine either, also a fan of the soaps. We didn't get a chance to see all of the vendors upstairs but we'll be back for sure!!!

I love going to the winter farmers market, since it is located inside the Wilton mall it really gives you a good place to go but stay warm. So many shops whether you pick from foods, both raw and prepared, dog treats or even painted items there is a little bit of something for everyone. When we go on Saturday we pick out a meat and then head to the jerky place for a great spice rub for it. Never disappointed! Update : I dislike the venders being so inconsistent

Love Saratoga farmers market. So many good things...some of my favs being jerky meats, dips, dog treats and maple candy. Many great independent small businesses.

Every single vendor I have talked to/bought from are from here are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Would recommend going even if just to look around.

Super friendly and lots of stands and choices. Nothing but the freshest food and produce and all very fairly priced. Seemed like everyone took credit cards as well which was upper convenient!

There's always something new here. The mushroom stand has awesome mushrooms. Several food stands. I recommend the Mexican food stand. The soap stand was doing well. We picked up a bottle of bourbon too.

This is one of the best Farmers' Markets I've been to. Prices were a bit high at many of the vendors but that didn't seem to hinder people from buying everything from Apples to Zinas. Prepared foods are fantastic. Go there hungry.

A great mix of vendors, and it was probably a good thing I had a limited amount of cash on me the other Sat. (Just a heads up it seemed to be heavier on the cash only stalls.) Pre-ordered from Daily Fresh, and food was amazing like always and shown in the pictures (everything except the naan that is store bought). Tip given when I picked up was if not eating within 2 days, to put it in the freezer. Enjoy!

There's a guy selling apple moonshine made from spring water. A proper farm distiller. Try a sample. Best tasting apple booze I've had. Had orange also, but my taste buds were dead after the apple.

With the price of food going up it's getting really hard to eat healthy however this farmers market has quite a lot to choose from besides vegetables they have take away food wine spirits. Plus it was a nice day and a great walk.
