Great family fun! Unique creations made from gems. Mining was a hit with our family! To get into the store was free, of course. However, there are various rates to go gem mining. It just depends on how many people and what type of mining you want to do. We chose the "family dream deal" which was around $108.

If I could give 20 stars, I would. I loved every second we spent here! They have goats and chickens. You can feed the goats, and they're so gentle and sweet. The buckets we did had tons of cool gems, definitely worth the money. The store inside has TONS of beautiful gems. Our experience was made 1000 times better because of the awesome customer service. Joe was super helpful and so nice. He took the time to explain the mining process, and offered to identify any rocks we had had questions about.

Fantastic experience from the kids up to us as adults! Staff was excellent and helpful. What we found in our tub was nothing short of incredible and memory making worthy. If you are able we definitely advise getting the 30 gallon tub!! The store inside is wonderful as well! Nice little activity area and goats to feed as well.

5-star fun in Hendersonville NC! Get the green value bucket vice individual buckets. One adult can scoop into the panning trays and keep 3 kids entertained for 30-45 minutes. Tons of “gems” from the family size bucket. 5-star, friendly staff. We’ll visit again in our next visit.

Awesome selection of crystals! Very affordable bucket mining prospecting for the family and kids! They have Goats you can feed and peacocks out back! They even have a small obstacle course too with a small river flow coming through. Very cool and unique place to stop by while your in the area or Asheville area.

My family and I have visited Elijah Mtn multiple times over the past 5 years and every visit has been just as remarkable as the first. Since our last visit in 2021, they’ve expanded a great deal. This visit, aside from our traditional bucket digging, we fed goats and admired so many different species of beautiful birds. It’s a wonderful spot for a day full of fun and experiences, there’s tons of picnic tables scattered throughout for families to enjoy and watch their kids play from. There’s a brewery now! I could spend all day there and still want to return the next. It’s a MUST visit! Today will always be particularly memorable. Thank you Sherbet, your help was beyond impactful and healing. As someone who cares for all animals and rescues as much as I can, I am always worried about going to a place that has animals and how the up keep is for the animals. As soon as I saw your animals, I knew that they were very well cared for and loved. Everything was clean, lots of room for them. Had water and food. It made me so happy to see them happy. My kids also had a wonderful at the wooden play area.

We absolutely loved Elijah Mountain gem mine! We have a big family and the everyone had the best time. We had four kids and used a Groupon. Each kid was able to get a zip lock bag full of gems with just one bucket. They each got a few things from the $1 treasure island. The prices here are great and the people that work here are so welcoming and friendly. We were able to feed the goats and play outside. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time in Hendersonville but not our first time gem mining. We've been to two other places in NC and these were absolutely the largest gems we've come across. It was fun to explore the gems and the staff was engaging and fun to chat with. Would definitely recommend.

We spent $165 for a huge tub and found so much fun soothing for rocks and gems. We found several big geodes. Cute gift shop had so much to offer. Cute joy pond inside. There was a cute playground outside and a lil petting farm goat peakcock pheasant and chickens

This gift shop and mining place was very beautiful and nicely arranged and decorated! A lot to see! Prices for mining was a little more expensive than Pisgah gem mining, which is right down the road but it's a more upscale place and has other things to do for the kids, (a playground area.) We didn't do gem mining there but instead, we mined at Pisgah and shopped here at Elijah mtn.

We are so glad we happened to come across a large road sign advertising for this place! Reece and Joe were so knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and friendly. We had promised our oldest the We were going to take her to a gem mine since little sis had been a mo th earlier with their class to another mine. We really didn't feel like driving over an hour to go to our normal spot. My wife searched and found this place. We didn't know what to expect but went for it. We get there and my girls loved it. They loved everything. The mining was great. They have awesome gems. We got the $40 bucket and walked away with some incredible finds. The obstacle course was fun and the goats were cool. My girls loved every minute we were there. I HIGHLY recommend this place and we will be back soon.

We had such a great time at Elijah mountain gem mining! We did the family package for our 4 little miners. It was definitely worth it! They all collected over 50 gems each! Plus lots of smaller ones on top of that! Staff is so kind and helpful. Cocoa bar is top notch and a great deal! Gift shop was phenomenal and plenty of fantastic deals for all the little geologists!

What a cute spot! I brought the toddler I nanny for here today and he loved it! The goats are the friendliest I’ve ever met and there’s a beautiful peacock here as well. Plenty of picnic tables and a natural playground for older children. Looks like they’re constructing some walking trails/other things and I can’t wait to see what’s to come! Will be back

Great gem mine experience and good value for everything you get. My friend and I split the Green Giant bucket and we are satisfied with our loot. Cracking the geode was really fun too! Keep in mind that this place can get crowded so you may need to come early for parking.

This place has several gym mini g stations. There is a playground and animal feeding and petting locations. The store has a lot to look at. Overall prices are good and can handle a lot of kids. Gyms in every pale for the kids to keep.

#4 family friendly thing to do in the world! $16 was fun for my daughter and she loved her gems and the experience of rinsing them off. And the balance playground was a super hit with kids! Best for kids four and up. Lots of gifts to buy and a favorite would be the magnetic balls.

Great activity for kids. Indoor and outdoor gem mining area. There are great fossils and the gems are good quality and price.

My sister booked a private tour & tasting followed by a dinner for my bachelorette party weekend. Dave welcomed us with open arms and treated us like royalty! It was truly a special experience! The wine and the tour was amazing and the dinner was fabulous! The service was wonderful and this was definitely the highlight of our trip!! Such a great spot!!!

We loved the chilled out atmosphere of this vineyard. Beautiful area to enjoy a glass of wine, a flight or a tasting experience. The outside sitting area that overlooks the vineyard/highway was amazing. Open areas or covered seating are available. There is a nice gift shop outside or in the tasting room. There is a restaurant on the property but we did not try it.

The Husband and I decided to visit for my birthday. It was a perfect day trip staycation. We selected the award winning wine flight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was engaging and welcoming. Brooke provided exceptional recommendations and made sure our experience was joyful. Also, the food was delicious, you can't go wrong with the menu options.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating! He even went to the trouble of writing us a list of local restaurants to try out! The wines were very good in my opinion. Mild flavored options that would pair well with meals and not overpower your entree. Relaxing atmosphere. Nothing pretentious or “putting on airs” as one reviewer stated. This was a welcoming and inviting staff and the customers were a varied group. I would love to come back if I’m the area!

Lovely location and atmosphere! When we went it was November and they had beautiful Christmas decor! The wine was great, lots of options from sweet to dry and very knowledgeable sommeliers.

I don't pretend to be a wine expert but this was definitely some of the best wine I've ever had. If I drink wine, I typically go with a red so the red flight was amazing for me. What really made this place worth the visit, for me, was the beautiful piece of land it sits on. Came in the evening and got to experience the lighting at sunset 🤩. Will have to come back and try the restaurant!

Really excited to have found this spot. Came here on my birthday for a wine tasting and food. We really enjoyed the warmed Brie with fig. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. All of the staff were kind and informative. They offered to turn on the heaters for us when we wanted to sit outside. Great views of the vineyards. This place is hard to beat. Definitely a must see in Asheville 😊

We had a great visit here. The weather was perfect the day we came. We arrived just after 12 pm. The setup is a bar inside where you can order tastings, wine, and food. You get a number, and a food runner brings your food out to you. There are covered tables both high and low tops, and the ones not covered have umbrellas if you needed or wanted shade. You can see the beautiful mountain in the back as well as the grape vines. To the right is the tasting room where you can also do tastings for a more one on one experience. My friend and I tried a flight for a tasting. My favorite was the Sugah. Delicious! I rarely drink alcohol, but my friend is the wine queen and I could drink a lot of that wine! We ordered the goat cheese fritters and WOW!!!! Amazing! We’ve literally talked about them every day since lol. We also had the flatbread which wasn’t impressive. It was very doughy for a flat bread, had a lot of sauce and there wasn’t cheese covering it. For me, my slices were also quite garlicky. I wouldn’t recommend that. There was a free wine tour at 2 pm. It was interesting, and the story about the winery is pretty cool. There was live music, and they had a fire pit although I’m not sure when it was used last bc we could see spider webs going across the rocks. The restrooms were clean and nice. Great overall experience. I will definitely be back. I can’t imagine what this place looks like more towards spring when the grapes are on the vines.

This was our first time here. This winery is so beautiful! You order at the inside bar selections of wine and food (full menu) and they bring the food outside to you. If you sit inside they have wait service. The weather was beautiful so everyone was outside. On the patio they had people playing music which was a welcomed treat. They also have a different tasting room on site, so much seating outside and a beautiful property. We will definitely be back to this winery next time we are in Hendersonville.

It was a Saturday & music started at noon with 4-5 bachelorette parties coming & going. And the breeze and temperature were perfect - not only for the grapes, but for the patrons. Wine sampling was fun & decided to buy a bottle of Merlot as this was best for our palette’s. And ordered a couple appetizers. Food was very nice. Trout dip was smoky. Brie was excellent. ADA compliant restrooms & anyone with wheelchair will have great time here too.

Beautiful setting (the wild flower meadow was amazing, both visually and ecologically) but the venue was a little more commercialized than I like for this area and the wine was so/so. The live music was a nice touch though!

Fabulous wine selection, the food is so delicious, I beat my husband at connect four.... awesome winery. The street noise was a bit of a bummer but not constant....nothing that music wouldn't drown out. Wonderful experience.

I took this photo a few years ago, notice how dark the wine is. It was very rich, smooth, velvet and lots of tannins. They changed winemakers or something because now none of their wines get close to that. They are all light compared to that. It just taste like a completely different winery now and from top shelf and premium to mediocre. I hope they go back to what made it great before.

My sister and I stopped here along our winery tour today and loved the homey-like feel of this family owned winery. The wine is very affordable and the vibe is laid back. If you are looking for a quick winery to go to on a Saturday, I would highly recommend this place. 😉☺️🍷

Not your traditionally made cider. Love that is made in small batches! The flight was perfect for trying the different options and we were happy to take a bottle for home. Staff was great! The weather was beautiful and they had wifi. Was a nice place to relax and be able to send a few work emails.

Great wine, efficient bar staff. They do test-tube flights which are 1-oz pours that come in, you guessed it, test tubes. I loved the Vidal Blanc, the Red & White, and Chestnut Gap. Sundays they have live music in the afternoons, so get there before 2 if you want a table. Behaved doggos are allowed inside and in the back. Get the pimento & hummus plate from the food truck in the back. That hummus is SO good.

Lovely as can be for a day out. We didn't buy any bottles which is rare for us, but we still thought the tasting was fun. I will say as a wine enthusiast that I have never seen the test tube method but did think it was fun and a smart delivery system. Lovely view of the vineyard.

Today I am giving Saint Paul’s a 1 star review. My husband and I come all the way from Clemson, SC every year for our anniversary. We always come on this same weekend. This year was the first time that we’ve had a bad experience. We waited a while for a table which is to be expected. Once we got to a table we waited about 20 minutes and then my husband got up and went inside to ask the server if we could order inside since we’d been waiting awhile, she was very rude and sent him away and told him to wait to be served at the table. We waited a little longer than flagged down a server. Finally we were served. The wine was warm and the server seemed pissy that we were ordering. Then my husband went inside again to try to pay so we could just get out of there and the server was rude once again. We came down the road to another winery and don’t think we’ll be back to Saint Paul’s. Very sad to be writing this review as we loved Saint Paul’s.

Let me first say that the wines are absolutely delicious, both the whites and the reds. The red Queen and white Carolina Peach knocked our socks off so we had to take home a bottle of each. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The availability of a variety of cheeses, meats and crackers at very reasonable prices along with free plates, napkins and knives was a a nice surprise. While the venue is OK, everything I already mentioned makes it a must do for your winery tours!

The space was very nice and had a very loving room like feel. The service was really good and accommodating. I wasn’t extremely impressed with the wine. But the prices were fair and still worth 5 stars to me.

I’m not much of a wine drinker but I stopped in anyway to try. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the different wines and I actually enjoyed them all! It’s a very chill and inviting atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Quaint, cozy winery with a great selection of exceptional wines and wine tasting options for semi-sweet to dry wines with a staff fav option. Nestled in the Smokey Mountains. Fell in love with the views AND several wines! The staff were super helpful & courteous. Live music & winery tours on site. Dog friendly, so we'll be going back with our pups in tow soon! Also had a food truck with great options to warm one up on a winter day. Love it when we stumble on little gems like this!

I was out in the sunshine on an unplanned drive when I saw the sign for St. Paul Mountan Vineyard. So I turned! I came away with 3 bottles of deliciousness, a membership and the best part? I met Anne!! This place is magical!

This winery was phenomenal! The staff were friendly and helpful. They were just like family. The recommendations for the hard ciders and the brandies were spot on. I highly recommend this venue for wine connoisseurs.

Lovely Orchard & such. Gift shop, apple samples, apples, pumpkins, bakery items and drinks (excellent Mountain Glacier drink: apple cider slushy with soft serve ice-cream and ape cookie crumbles). Many activities don't run until the weekends (apple cannon, corn maze, cow train, u-picks, etc.). Awesome grounds and Mountain views.

What a fun and delicious place. The apple turnovers were excellent, and the cookies were great. I loved that you could sample the many varieties of apples before you decided which to buy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable.

Cute space! They have lots of fall decor, apples and baked goods. Especially like the cider donuts and caramel apple oatmeal cookies. They do not do u-pick or pick your own here but they are pretty busy. Lines move quickly

Amazing u-pick apple farm! So beautiful and the staff was so nice! We had a great time picking honey crisps and hanging out in the big barn. There's a gift shop/fruit shop, and a little restaurant side selling some delicious looking desserts and drinks. They also had local honey. Highly recommended!

Doughnuts are a must. Large selection of the freshest apples and all the apple extras you need.

We just left here and we're confused about why our neighbors recommend this place. There is no U Pick, you pick them out of crates which was super disappointing for us. The mountain glacier (shown in the photo) was refreshing and delicious and the grounds were beautiful and clean. Id skip the donuts sandwich as it is all frozen making it hard to eat and impossible to enjoy. Soft serve should be soft....

Spent a day on October 23rd 2023 at granddad’s orchard. Bought 10 pounds of fresh delicious apples for $14. Unfortunately they didn’t have any honey crisp apples and also they did not have you pick option. 😔Otherwise it’s a nice place to hangout and enjoy! Beautiful lake, corn maze, pumpkin patch, sunflowers field, lavender field and more!!

Apple day! Family tradition to pile in the car and go up to Grandad's for the day. Everyone has said most everything here already. Apple fudge and apple dumplings are my favorites! Don't forget a big bag of juicy apples to enjoy. And they have fermented apple cider too. Just a fun fall day 🍎

Very cool place with lots to offer. Corn maze, Apple picking, apple cannons, puMpkin patch, mini tractor ride, cider donuts and apple cider. It’s extremely busy though and you will have to wait in lots of lines. I don’t think I would personally go back. I’d be curious to see if there are lesser known orchards or I would recommend going on a weekday if it is open!

A wonderful destination to put on your list. Pet and kid friendly so basically a family friendly atmosphere that has something for everyone. The variety of apples is excellent; fresh, delicious and very well priced for different sizes. The staff was professional, friendly and always stocking the shelves. The negative: lines can get long for the apple canon, cow train and bakery but I would complain about. The bakery is worth the wait. Ignore any reviews of 3 star or less... This place is worth supporting and visiting.

Good time as usual. Great place to pick a pumpkin and some apples. There is a big selection of apples and apple treats. The ice cream and slushy are my favorites. The corn maze is fun too. Fairly simple so you won't get lost for long. And dog friendly (assuming you have a well behaved and friendly dog). My pups love all the sights and smells as well as attention from strangers. Lots of places for cute pictures.

Grandad's Apple farm is a beautiful ride from Simpsonville into NC. It's about an hour away up into the mountains with gorgeous views especially during Fall. The farm is a good size with a corn maze, a pumpkin patch where you can take some great pictures, a large pond where you can shoot apples from a canon and a small sunflower field. They have a big barn where they sell tons of bagged apples and other goodies like apple cider donuts, yum! Each activity has a price but it's not too expensive, I think the corn maze was $5.00 per person. The parking is free and they have porta potties available. It's a great place to take the kids and enjoy the day!

The drive up to Grandad's Apple farm is so pretty! You're driving up the mountain into NC and the views are beautiful especially in the Fall! We took a drive to check out the farm and we weren't disappointed, it's a nice farm with a fun corn maze, a cute pumpkin patch where you can take great pictures, a small sunflower field, they also have a large pond where you can shoot apples from a canon and plenty of spaces to sit and relax. They sell many varieties of apples and they have a barn where they sell yummy donuts and other treats. You have to pay for each activity but it's not too expensive, I think the corn maze was $5.00 per person. We went on the weekend and it was crowded but not terrible. The parking is free and they have porta potties available. It's a cute place to bring the kids and it's in a beautiful setting.

Apples are affordable, delicious and fresh. Donuts are also really good! That being said, the attractions are very mediocre. Corn maze left a lot to be desired. Apple cannon and train ride are closed on the weekdays. For kids there is space to run around, but don’t expect a lot of activities to keep them busy.

Grandad's was fantastic! We got there fairly early, which was a good idea because by the time we left, the place was packed! (There was plenty of parking, though.) They've got things for the whole family! There's the Cow Train to run the kids around the property, a Corn Maze to explore, and you've got to try the Apple Cannon. My son nailed Sasquatch on his first shot! We had a few samples, devoured a package of apple donuts, enjoyed some cider. What a great morning!

This place is amazing. The grounds are huge. The views of the mountains magnificent. Get there early, as the checkout gets very long. All kinds of apples in big bins, pumpkins in every size. Wishing they had more checkouts, as the lines were too long to wait to buy. Next visit I'll go extra early.

Amazing collection. Great people volunteering there, I wish we had more time to look around more and talk faceting. They offer classes and other services. Seems like a really great group to get involved with

Really neat place. I was impressed with the different geodes I saw. They were so beautiful. The fluorescent light exhibit and demonstration was really cool too! The admission is free, and the street parking is free for the first 30 mins, but you have to use your phone to link your tag to the parking zone. I don’t want to share too many pictures so I don’t spoil it for anyone, but I would recommend coming here if you’re in the area. The staff was very kind and helpful. I could sit and stare at some of these pieces for a while. Good thing they don’t have seating 😂

Ok, thought this was going to be just a quick stop. Spent the next hour with the volunteers teaching the grandkids the wonders of the displays. They all went home with different rock. Awesome place to stop by if the have a chance.

Rocks are cool! Lots to look at. You can buy a geode and they will break it open. No admission fee just donations. Very nice people.

Very fun experience. We went here on vacation to Hendersonville. We enjoyed seeing all the minerals and fossils on display. I've always been a big fan of geology. The coolest thing we saw was a pain "mineral" made from paint on the floors of the Ford factory. This place is really enjoyable, and it's free. But make a donation though!

I enjoyed this small but very educational museum. The admission is FREE but they accept donations. There are awesome displays of different gems, crystals, fossils, petrified wood, shark teeth and fluorescent gems. You can purchase geodes and split them right there! Absolutely stunning collection on display.

I would highly suggest anyone visit this museum if they have any interest at all in rocks and minerals or fossils! This has been my go-to stop for a rock and mineral shopping haul for two years since I finally discovered its existence (long overdue)! The volunteers are always so friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and passionate about the exhibits and they are very kind about helping you with any purchases you make while at the museum. There are so many things to see here although the museum is small so please don’t be discouraged by the appearance of the room when you first enter! Take in everything! Each piece is incredible in its own right and they really take pride in everything they display. Also… you cannot beat the prices here. I LOVE buying way too many rocks and minerals for my own good because I know I’m getting an absolute steal. So take the trip, take a chance, whatever you need to do, it’s worth it to go into this museum!!!

I will get photos for this review soon but I have been in this place many times and to be honest they really need some people in there to entertain but I will say one thing is that Hendersonville has gotten super dipernpopilar so I will say good luck finding a parking space!

This is an awesome "hidden gem" in downtown Hendersonville. The volunteers here were so friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much during our short visit. The highlight for me as a lifelong dinosaur lover was their skull cast of an adult Tyrannosaurus Rex.

What a great experience! Apple Festival crowds and they still did a great job! Cant wait to come back and do it again. The staff were excellent and happy to help/explain everything. Geode splitting is the best!

Nice museum. It was free to enter. My son loved the fossils and gemstones they had displayed. We were able to see them opening a geode for another customer. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend it to those who like gemstones and fossils.

Absolutely one of the best playhouses I've been to. And of course I've been to New York Broadway and all over the world and I always enjoy the Flat Rock Playhouse. Top-notch actors and incredible crew that put together some fabulous plays there

We saw the Disney's Little Mermaid at this location. The theater is very nice and the play was well done. It is likely that we will return here to see other presentations.

Awesome compact playhouse bringing quality shows to this beautiful city of Hendersonville NC. The seating wraps around the performance area bringing the players up close to the audience. IMHO an experience to be remembered and repeated often, rebooked already!

I like that the stage is low down with the seats so the actors are close to you instead of being up high far away and hard to see. I wish that they had more seats so prices on certain plays were cheaper but overall a great place.

Great show. The 6 year old Grand-Twins got to see their first live theatre, "The Little Mermaid".

My granddaughter and I loved the show today! We saw The Little Merrmaid and all the characters did it proud.

If you want to be entertained, the flat rock playhouse is the place to go. Every time I go to the playhouse I have enjoyed tremendously. I plan on going to more shows.

Such a lovely spot. The playground and jumping pillow were more than adequate for entertaining my toddler and well maintained. The shop had lots of fun knick knacks, food items and bakery goods, and of course, fresh produce and apples. Prices were fair and on par with other areas. We had a really great morning at Justus Orchard and will definitely be back

We LOVE to go Apple Picking at Justus Orchard. We look forward to the Apple Cider Doughnuts and the warm Apple Cider every year. It’s a Family Tradition that we started Five years ago and will continue for a long time.

The blackberries from Justice are the Best!! We travel an hour every year to pick some! You won’t find nicer employees anywhere! Beautiful view too!

This is our "go-to" spot for apple picking because there is so much to do and the staff is always amazing! This trip we picked some Gala, Fuji and the best Golden Delicious I've ever eaten. The kids had a great time! 🍏🍎

Amazing property. They have pretty much everything. Even a petting zoo and 2 apple Cannons. My kids had a blast and so did we. Make sure you try a fried apple pie because its the best we've ever had.

We had a great time apple picking with our pups! The orchard overlooks the mountain and smelled so sweet. The staff was friendly and even let us borrow a water bowl for our dogs. They have a bakery that sells delicious pastries. We highly recommend the churros! The prices for picking and pastries were very fair. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Justus Orchard is a family owned and operated orchard with plenty of room for the kiddos to run. Their prices were competitive to the other orchards and definitely a more affordable place for those on a budget. Bonus points for not having a wild crowd even with a giant tour bus of people there and their lines moved quick.

Super fun place to visit, especially during the season of fall where the leaves are changing. There is plenty for families to do there and dogs are allowed on leash which we loved.

What a wonderful experience! We drove about 2.5 hours to come visit. We were told that Justus apple cider donuts and Apple cider are the best around. It was SO WORTH the trip. The layout was easy to navigate with kids. Baskets and wagons were available to use which made apple picking much easier. There was quite the variety of apples available as well as jams, jellies, syrups, cider, cookbooks, and so much more. Prices were more than reasonable. The donuts are out of this world as was the apple cider slushies! Made fresh daily since the donuts we had were still warm. The playground was awesome and huge!! My kids had an absolute blast and I appreciated the tables and shade. We will definitely be back next season and this will become our annual fall break day trip!

This is an awesome place to have apple picking. It's a large country style farm. They have many varieties of apples. Early fuji is one of our favorites. They also have vineyards, small playgrounds for kids, apple products, and bakery shop. Kids will love this place, so as adults.

It was our first time visiting this orchard late September and we had a lot of fun! Couldn’t pick any apples but we got some prepackaged and they were delicious! Apple slushy was refreshing and the apple donuts were good. Will probably come back next year!

We had a great time! The apple desserts were delicious. The apple picking process was great. Everyone in our group (ages 5-73) was happy and satisfied with the experience! 🍎🍏🍎

My family has made wonderful memories at this orchard for many years and we love it. The orchard is beautiful and scenic, the donuts and slushies are tasty, and the apples are wonderful. But we so enjoy the family who owns it. They have poured their heart and soul into the place and it shows. The big playground is also great for the kids!

Beautiful drive to a beautiful orchard. We had a great time picking apples! Haven't done it since I was young. The kids loved the playground and we loved being able to bring a picnic lunch and eat at the tables provided. Beautiful property. Great prices. Will be back!

We had a really fun time, it was a little bit chaotic and busy with not much direction on what to do. You can go inside and pay at the register to pick your own or buy 1/4, 1/2, and full pecks of many varieties of apples that have been pre picked. There is a playground with a big jumping air pillow, and a snack bar with cider donuts, fritters, churros, ice cream, cider icees and ice cream. Lots of picnic tables to enjoy your treats. Just a great day out with the family!

Spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon picking our own apples. We brought three dogs with us, who enjoyed walking, and lying in the shade while we picked our apples. Parking was so easy with the direction of the attendants. Every guest was so nice, sharing their cart, and.knowledge of what each row had and where to go. We took some great photos of the dogs and on our way out got some delicious doughnuts!

I love going apple picking and over the years have been to many orchards this has been by far my favorite orchard ever! We went back in Oct and it was packed. Even though it was busy everything ran smoothly. The pricing for the apples was the best I've paid in the area(obviously prices are subject to change).Everything was very well organized and easy to navigate. All the staff was sooo friendly and helpful. There were sooo many varieties of apples to choose from and no shortage despite it being later in the season (unlike some orchards that run out early). The apple canon, tractor ride were fun. The apple cider donuts were delish. They also had sunflower and pumpkin fields. If you're trying to pick an orchard this is the one. Also it's centrally located near Hendersonville which is worth the detour, and not a long drive from Asheville either.

Today was our first time picking apples. We had a blast. After doing a lot of research, we chose Stepp’s Orchard and we are so glad we did. It was not so overly commercialized but had all the fun activities that you would expect of an apple orchard. Because we went late in the season, the variety was limited but that didn’t stop us from getting all that we wanted. And the price was quite reasonable. If you have never been or looking for a new place to go…..Stepp’s is it!!!!!

Great farm. Fun, and fairly priced, cornmaze. The shop was fantastic, we bought all kinds of jams, butters and sauces for a picnic. The pumpkin and apple cider donuts were delicious, and we washed them down in their spacious gazebo with frozen apple slushies. They have other activities as well, so check their schedule. Friendly staff. Plenty of bathrooms. Large barn.

Amazing!!!! Did not initially plan on going to Stepps but -after trying to visit another orchard and leaving due to the chaos and amount of people- we saw a road sign advertising Stepp’s and decided to give it a go. SO GLAD WE DID. Orchards we’re amazing with so much variety and delicious options, the bounce area was awesome for the kids, the kettle corn was addictive and the apple cannon had the kids and husbands enthralled! Parking was organized, getting boxes as organized, staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place, as previous folks mentioned the apple cider donuts are tremendously good, the kettle corn is perfect. The apple jelly we bought is delish but the apple salsa-- very sweet-- so if you don't like sweet salsa ( I personally don't) them I don't recommend it. Apple butter and preserves -- we haven't opened yet! The bathroom is inside and very clean. Lots of family activities to do. Here's the one thing that was not good...they had like 3 very young employees who seemed to know NOTHING and were not helpful at all...when I asked the girl who checked me out for a bag, it took her an insane amount of time to put like 4 things in a bag, very irritating--the other workers with some age were helpful and knowledgeable but it seems like the young ones weren't trained!

Went on the first Sunday afternoon in October with family. They gave us a wheelbarrow & we headed for the pumpkin patch. My nearly 5 year old grandson thought we were picking up every pumpkin we saw! He had fun, we just had to unload a few here & there when he wasn't looking. We cut fresh sunflowers & zinnias, had apple cider slushies, & picked apples. Oliver's favorite thing was the apple cannon! He hit the targets a couple times. We enjoyed being there for about 3 hours. Only 2 things were it was sooo hot that day, & the prices were high. Like Apple Festival prices for snacks & slushies. They gave us a plastic container as a vase for the flowers we would cut. It was an average size for a bouquet, but it cost $16. We wanted to see Sugar & Cinnamon, the 2 donkeys, but were too hot & tired. They also had a trampoline area under an open shed that Oliver wanted to do, but we figured it would be too expensive. Otherwise, a very pretty place.

It was our first time and it was very fun,cute, nice and very clean, organized. We got lots of apples, the kettle corn popcorn is amazing perfectly sweet and salty. Took a ride around the land and it was beautiful. We enjoyed it very much.

This Apple Orchard is great! They have Apple, Pumpkin and Sunflower picking. It was very crowded today, but we were able to find parking and all the lines were moving fast. Of course we bought apple donuts and an apple slushy! The donuts and slushy were amazing. We found seating out back on the rocking chairs to enjoy our snack. We do not have young children anymore, but I noticed that this Orchard has so many fun activities for kids. Everyone young or old were enjoying themselves at this farm! A great day visiting.

We have gone to Stepp’s for many years. Weekends are super busy in September but it is also when more of the activities are open. It isn’t a cheap outing, but is great memories for my two kids (9 and 11 this year). They love the corn maze which is open all days. Plenty of rows to pick. The pick your own flowers is a nice addition. The field were beautiful. Would love to be able to pay by the stem. Weekend activities include the jump pad, apple cannons, and wagon rides. Plan on a being there a couple hours.

The most well run, friendly and maintained apple orchard I’ve ever been to (including those in Upstate NY)! The orchard is absolutely gorgeous! Not only can you pick apples but you can pick grapes & flowers as well! Their cider donuts, kettle corn and slushy were all excellent! There’s a BBQ food truck available & covered picnic area. The apple cannons were our favorite! Thank you! Oh, and dogs are allowed if humans pick up after them!

Nice apple orchard in the mountains. They have a barn stop and shop to get all your goodies. First time we stopped by and we enjoyed our apple picking. We got the half basket for $18 and was able to pick our own apples. Varieties available were pink lady, granny Smith, Rome, Arkansas Black. We got a few of everything. This is a plus! They don't limit you to only a box of one kind. You can mix it. They also allow you to do your own picking so you don't feel pressured and get to enjoy some quality time with family/friends and take photos! The view was astonishing and enjoyed meeting a few farm animals as well.

Well maintained orchard. Nice to actually pick pumpkins off the vine. Slushies and donuts are good. Wish there was more to the kids play area, and small maze was closed, but they liked the bounce area. Only downside is the price per person for every activity really adds up.

Fantastic farm. $18 for middle size box of you pick apples. Loved picking my own apples. Huge area, lots of things to do, will come again.

We had a wonderful time with our 2 year old. A full days worth of fun - she kept playing and playing. The staff was kind and helpful.

We came in about an hour before closing. They charged us full price for a day pass which was absurd, and even make you pay for infants?! My baby isn't even a month old! My two kids (under 5) were done playing in 30 minutes. There's not much to do besides the grocery shopping. The infant area (where you play with baby dolls) is bare minimum, most of the firetrucks buttons don't work, I posted a picture of the train set. There is one narrow slide to go down. We were not thrilled whatsoever, especially after paying $40+ for an hour. We came a few years ago and it was great, but it has definitely gone downhill. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Spartanburg or Rutherfordton..much more to do. We can have fun for hours at the other ones.

We miss you Hands On! When we finally started doing things out post covid it closed for renovations, but I’m so excited to see that it is growing! In the past this was a weekly routine and an easy walk from the library. The staff was always kind and welcoming and it was a great space for kids to play, learn, be creative, and interact with peers. So much gratitude that this place was a part of my little ones childhood.

If you have younger kids, this place is great! Just okay for older, ages 8-10. Pretty small. I felt like for how small it is, there were too many exhibits that were either not ready or broken and in need of repair. Great if you like to build with Legos or blocks.

My Son Had a wonderful time, there are many fun things to do, he really enjoyed the grocery store, the fishing pond, Lego races, the slide etc etc. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.

We came here just after opening during the week, which was perfect for our kids (5 and 3.5) to have mostly free play all over the center. They both had a blast, we spent about 1.5 hours in there. I’d say 95% of the exhibits were up and running smoothly.

I used to live near Charlotte, so maybe my expectations may be a bit high, but I will say this is the most entertainment I can find for my 4 year old in the area. It's rather small, but she's able to enjoy it for a good 2 hours so that's a win in my book. Nice staff, clean place, and supposedly they're supposed to be reopening soon with new exhibits so that's good.

My son (2) had a great time there and I can see having to pay $10 for his experience. However, charging for our 2 month old daughter, come on! A 2 month old isnt able to engage in the exhibits. I can see charging for children old enough to move around and can enjoy your museum.

I took my 3 year old here for her birthday. Lots of hands-on displays for her to play and interact with. Even my 7 year old enjoyed it. Being a weekday, it was fairly empty. There were probably around 7 or 8 families there. There were a few displays and exhibits that were closed or didn't work. Tickets are $10 per person.

This place is wonderful for kids on rainy days or in colder weather. They truly mean hands on. From the moment you walk in there are nothing but fun activities throughout. I might suggest getting there early when things are a little bit more organized. We went in and our kids were instantly enamored. There is a water table and jackets to put on, but I suggest not wearing long sleeves or packaging an additional shirt to change into. Hendersonville at its finest and the staff are always around.

Fun, quick fun for my 5 year old son! We spent about an hour and a half there & he was busy enjoying all the different activities!

So much to experience! Our kids are 5, 8 and 10 and we spent a solid 2 hours chasing them around and watching them try out everything today. A lot of the exhibits were meant for younger children but my 10 year old still enjoyed the craft room and theater room. Great time!

I was pleasantly surprised with how great of a job this Children's Museum does. Our kids loved it. We spend two hours there and we could have spent many more. Lots to do and big enough that it never feels particularly crowded in any one spot. All toys and displays are clean and high quality. We really enjoyed it and will be back!

Pricing is a bit odd. They charge for newborn babies. But $10/person isn’t bad. Some of these kids museums are charging $30 a person if you’re not getting the annual pass so still not the worst…..

Neat little place but I thought the pricing was a little much. It’s for children to play but it is 10 dollars for kids and 10 dollars for adults. We were also charged 4 dollars for my 4 week old baby to enter. So 24 dollars all for my 4 year old daughter to play. Nowhere for adults to sit. Benches against walls would be nice for adults to be able to sit down.

Henderson County Historic Court Museum is THE place to explore local history, artifacts, southern architecture, and more. Some interesting notes: 🍎 Hendersonville, (AKA: Hendo) NC is a top producer of apples in the USA 🐖 The area's largest pig weighed in at over 2400 pounds 📖 Documents (US Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc) are viewable on display outside the museum and general admission is free (donations acceptable).

What an interesting museum! Lots of items to look at, past n present. You can see the layout of the old courthouse while looking at the items in there. People should really visit this museum, it was awesome, oh n it's free to get in!!

Golden dome! The kids chant every time we drive past, nice museum, small kids might want to bring a step stool as all the displays are too tall. Lots of local history and they host great events downtown. Thanks y’all.

Quiet but nice museum. A lot of history packed into this place. Duplos and train table to keep the youngest busy. The train room is a nice touch showing the area of train routes.

Very well kept and organized displays. Located in the heart of the Main Street shops. It has a must see Military history section.

This is a cool place. When you walk in don't get too intimidated by the guard. Yeah, she's an older lady, but she ain't messing around. I'm pretty sure she was a Tier One Operator at one time. It's self guided, great history experience.

Who would of thought there would be such a awesome aquarium hidden in the mountains! Lots of cool Turtles and Fish to see and a great staff ready to answer questions. My kids loved it. There is a touch and feel tank that you can hold a number of aquatic animals. Make sure to see the shark tank feeding.

This lab is Amazing!! The staff are very nice, helpful and engaging. We visited to see the famous pregnant stingray Charlotte & she was really cute. It’s amazing to witness her journey. We enjoyed the other displays; the axolotl salamander, baby box turtles, bearded dragon & tortoise. We are already planning our next visit!

Fantastic place for a field trip! My preschool had the best time. It was an engaging, educational, hands on learning experience that was fantastic. Ms. Brenda, the owner, is so knowledgeable and great with the kids. She kept their attention and we had a smooth flowing itinerary already created for us. Thank you so much! We stopped by on a Saturday, and the adults and kids had a great time. They feed the animals at 1:30, so plan to be there during that time. All the staff members were very kind and answered all our questions. This place is more than just an aquarium - check out their website for all their offerings.

Loved, loved, loved this place! From the African tortoises they were feeding outside to the many types of turtles and mini sharks and urchins the 2 lovely little ladies who let us pet them! Grant , our self appointed guide, gave us a wealth of information and. was so passionate about what he was doing there. Would highly recommend you stop there. They also had someone carving a pumpkin underwater in a tank!! Go there!

I am a student who wanted to learn about Marine Biology for a job assignment in class, this was the only aquarium I could find that was even a little close to me. What I got, however, was an experience I could only describe as excellent. While this place is a bit on the small side, the staff are welcoming, warm, and are clearly passionate about what they do. This place definitely deserves more attention than it gets and would recommend anyone looking for a short, but memorable experience to go here.

The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. They will answer any question you have about the animals they have. If I own this place I would ask for donations instead of an entry fee. You are in and out unless you ask questions it's very small.

Alright, let's dive right in! I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Shark-Lab by Team ECCO in Hendersonville, NC. This place is a hidden gem, a treasure trove of marine biology education. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by Brenda, the founder. Her passion for educating young people about marine biology is palpable and truly inspiring. The Shark-Lab is not just an aquarium, it's a place where curiosity is kindled and knowledge is shared. It's a place where you can feel the dedication and commitment to marine education. Brenda and her team are doing an incredible job of bringing the ocean to the mountains. So, if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by. You'll leave with a greater appreciation for our oceans and the creatures that inhabit them. Don't forget to check out my photos of the Shark-Lab and share your thoughts!

It was so cool to see charlotte in person! I had no idea this was the famous stingray until we walked in and they said “so I’m sure you’ve been following us”… I actually freaked out. It was a great experience, checking out the bearded dragons, seeing the tortoises, and the aquatic show. Definitely worth a visit!

I am giving two stars bc 7$ is pushing it for a small room of fish tanks, some turtles and a bearded dragon you can touch. There's not much there, and I didn't see one shark. If there's only 20 mins left there's no discount, that also applies if you have to use the bathroom--they don't have one so you have to go somewhere else, but no worries the place is so small you can take it in pretty quick. Probably better for small children. I would say this is less like an aquarium and more like a fish store without prices. I'm on a mission to visit ALL Aquariums but this one hardly qualifies.

Though small, this place is fascinating. Be sure to be there at 1:30 for the various feedings, including baby sharks! They also let you touch various reptiles. They have a variety of fish and other reptiles.

I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about this place at first. But like they say, "don't judge a book by its cover." This place was absolutely phenomenal. The staff are all very very educated and well versed on the animals there in the aquarium. The owner is also very educated, friendly and very involved with continuing education for herself and her staff. This truly is a hidden gem!!!

the most magical, wonderful, sea creatures who are lovingly cared for by the most knowledgeable, fun, and interesting folks! the entire experience was delightful. :-) best field trip EVER! i highly recommend. And in Hendersonville, of all places!

The trains are neat and they've obviously put a lot of time and energy into making them. There's some that you can even vary the speed of. Of course, the whole place was staffed by older men who really really like trains, but that just means you might learn more than you intended to. The fact that a lot of the displays were connected (from one room to the next via tunnels) was really neat and entertained the little one. Probably spent about 45 min here total with half of that being in the old train car outside.

Amazing model train exhibits. Detailed replicas of nearby towns. One room even has day to night simulations! Plenty of experts happy to show you around.

Spectacular place and a real gem!! Helpful folks were able to help me with research questions, but they’re super fun and we’re so welcoming to everyone who came in. Admission is free but I would encourage anyone who visits to leave a donation to make sure they continue to keep this great place going for many more people to enjoy. For train lovers this is a must-see.

This is the coolest place ever for kids of all ages… whether you’re 2yo or 82 you will certainly feel like you’re in a new and special place like no other. The people are most friendly and welcoming. Must see.

No matter what your age, you have to stop in and see all the trains at the old depot in Hendersonville. The people behind these displays, and all the hard work, should be commended for creating such a real and wonderous environment. Big or small, old or young, highly recommend a stop, and chat up all the knowledgeable folks there.

The model railroad was awesome!!! It's a great hobby not just for kids. If you go to Hendersonville stop and take a look the guys that run the trains are great and knowledgeable.

Love this place! Great place to bring the kids before going apple picking. It's free, but donations are encouraged. There are models of Eastern NC towns where the trains go through. It's really neat.

The park and assets here are bountiful and plentiful. The only thing that would make this park better would be more parking around the baseball fields. It gets fairly busy during baseball season. Other than that, there is more than enough room in this park to spend time to your heart's desire.

Beautiful park! I came for the discgolf but I reccomend for all athletics - Tennis, baseball/softball, basketball. The course was challenging but not impossible. A ton of "tree gap holes" but manageable. I played horribly, but my local friends said their average "good round" score is anywhere from -5 (very best) to about +5 (worst in party)

My go-to Park for dog walking. I love this family-friendly Park that is large enough to usually find an out-of-the-way spot from others to spend outdoor time with my dog. I appreciate relaxing, looking at nature and also the flowers at the Cooperative Extension.

Jackson Park has an AMAZING NEW handicap / wheelchair accessible playground and wheelchair swing!! This place is revolutionary for the area and brings a beautiful attraction to the area! Killer swings, slides, merry go rounds that have a seat and is flush with the ground for special needs. This place made my heart melt :):)

It's a big beautiful park with lots of open space and all kinds of activities. We enjoyed walking the trails.

The new kids play ground is great. My granddaughter enjoyed everything about it. The bathrooms was open this time instead of saying closed for the seasoned. It's dog friendly, just have to clean up after them.the disc golf course is fun.

Big park with plenty to do. BBQ areas. Tennis courts, frisbee golf, basketball courts, hiking trails and more. Also has good clean, well maintained restrooms.

A very nice park. Very large with great bike trails. We took a walk into the forest. There is a nice path to follow. The frisbee golf course goes into the woods.

A must stop if you're in the area! We had a blast and we will absolutely be back again the next time we're in town. Philip was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful while we were there. The entry is free but do consider a donation while you are there. We need more great resources like this in the world.

Cute place off the beaten path hidden in a neighborhood. Admission is free, but donations are welcome as that is what keeps the museum open. The gentleman who first greeted us was very funny, helpful, and informative. I could see and hear another man getting a thorough tour and explanation. All aircraft with the exception of one has flown and could fly again. Very cool. This is the first air museum I have been in where I have seen oil trays with sentiments coming out of the aircraft. It makes it quite real feeling. If you’re in the area, I would recommend a stop here.

The museum is neat and great for older children and adults BUT I would not list it as being a kid attraction. I took my two toddlers to the museum after seeing photos online of kids sitting in planes outside and mini props thinking my airplane loving kiddos would really enjoy the attraction. When we arrive we are told the one rule is not to touch the airplanes. There was one airplane we could touch but the other 98% of the attraction was not kid friendly. A really great place, just wish the depiction online would have been more accurate description on how kid-friendly the site is.

Such an awesome little hidden gem. The planes they have are awesome. Not to mention the history tied to the items on display. The curator, Peter, was such a delight. He had so many stories to share with myself and my two boys.

It’s small (comparably), but you easily miss some rich displays if you fixate on the planes. It has plenty of historical info amongst the displays. Add the hospitality of the volunteers and this place will occupy you much longer than you’d think. They don’t even try to push you into a donation. Would bring someone over on a repeat trip.

Not too out of the way if in the area. Single hanger with a lot in it. Several WW1 replicas among others. The real cool bit is the research library. Free to get in but check for hours as they are very limited since it is operated by volunteer staff. Consider donating and/or purchasing from the gift shop to support the museum.

Always enjoy coming here. Some of the animals were not there so disappointed but overall it is always a good trip. Bears needed water.

This is the museum I most wish I lived close to... but I get ahead of myself. It's small, but don't let that fool you. This place is jam packed with planes, gliders, models, memorabilia, and fascinating stories. The hangar is lovingly maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers. They are ridiculously knowledgeable and hospitable, and their passion about airplanes (past and present) is infectious. I could spend hours just listening to their stories. It's easy to lose track of time taking it all in. There's plenty of well-restored and maintained aircraft, including a Sportfire (a functional, home-designed replica of a WWII Spitfire) and a 1970s autogyro that you can climb inside if you'd like. They also have an impressive library of airplane-related books that I'd love to explore further if only I were local. Admission is free, but I highly recommend donating so they can keep running (and maybe even expanding 🛩️). 12/10 stars 😉 Definitely going back.

My 4 1/2 year old grandson loves anything mechanical, so I knew he would love this place. A whole hangar of planes, replica planes, vintage equipment, photos, pilot uniforms, etc. Many of the planes you are allowed to get inside. He loved sitting in the fighter plane replica with the top closed, so he could get the real experience! He looked around the cockpit, grabbed the stick, and said "this is GOOD!" The volunteer on duty was very knowledgeable and pleasant and answered all our questions. The museum is free to visit with donations, which we were happy to give. An interesting and fun place for kids and adults.

Great place to visit! The guy in charge of the museum gave a wonderful tour. Very educational. This museum has a great presentation and information of aviation from past to present day. We enjoyed reading the pilot’s account of the day that the Challenger exploded from the Eastern Airlines pilot point of view.

Lots to see here. Lots of documentation of the varied exhibits. Nice recognition of some historically unrecognized groups - red tail squadron and WASPs.

Great, free museum that is a real hidden gem.

Staff were super friendly! I learned a lot about each plane, and was even allowed to take a picture in one of them! Truly more fun than I thought it would be. I also learned you can donate on their website! I love that admission is free, but it is helpful that we can donate. Definitely going to come back.

Fun stop on the way to western NC wineries. Great rainy day excursion, get ready to spend the entire day if you want to see all this warehouse has to offer. Take a step back in time around every corner.

Hours of good antique browsing. I saw things here I’ve never seen before! To me, it’s as good as a museum. Prices are definitely retail; you might have a hard time reselling anything if you’re a thrifter. But if you’re a decorator, there are amazing statement pieces everywhere.

Great store! HUGE. Some great deals. Friendly staff. And they have a STORE CAT named Lucy! She’s a sweetheart. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town. Totally delighted with my purchases today!

Huge! Amazing! One of the best I have seen up and down the east. If they don’t have it then you don’t need it. Prices are about average or a little above average. A must stop and see. Very friendly staff and there is free coffee.

Wow!!! Huge store full of anything and everything you could ever want. We love the shop kitty too. This place is so big that we got lost a couple times. We joked that this is like a horror story like we'd run into someone who never found their way out. If you're building a house, stop here to look for bar units and architectural pieces. Bring a big truck to haul home all your finds!

What a great store! First of all, it is HUGE!!! two stories with over 25,000 square feet on each floor. The antiques were a little over priced, but it was really cool to look through everything. No matter what you're looking for, I'm sure they have it. Lots of antique furniture, art, toys, tools. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

My fiancé, and I originally came here because the name of it reminded us of Rick and Morty Mr. Needful so he felt the need to go. We get there and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was amazing, the prices were fair, and they had this adorable cat, and I fell in love with her! You can wander around that place for hours and not get bored and still somehow see things that you missed. It’s huge and totally worth going to! My fiancé and I got a good couple of things and it really wasn’t that pricey most everything there is very reasonably priced (for the most part) I completely recommend that you go here if you really like antiques and random items, and I will definitely be returning in the future!! The pictures are of what we got!! $80 in all just about!!

Beautiful interior and many things to look at, almost too many! Prices were a bit much, and we didn't find anything we liked, but we did find a darling cat who we lovingly named "Clarice". We frequently looked for her and gave her elderly body many pats.

I love the store, but the last two times I've picked up Chinese food for evening dinner it is old. Most likely left over from lunch. It's so old, we couldn't eat it.

Went into this Ingles with a group of friends. We went up to the chinese food section of the deli and each got chicken. A kind lady greeted us and gave us our pints of chicken. We made our way to the self check-out, and paid for our food. (We threw away our receipts before leaving, because we sure weren't going to be returning the chicken we planned on eating) The self checkout attendant was checking their phone. An older woman working the deli watched us eat our food and depart from the store. She had the audacity assume we had stolen the food and eaten it without paying for it. (Mind you, Ingles food is dirt cheap, and who is stealing food and then eating it on premises?????) She followed us outside with a manger, and caused a whole scene in the parking lot. We were left having to show online bank statements to the manager, who wasn't apologetic, and simply walked back inside after we presented him with proof. This is genuine insanity. I understand how things may have appeared, but there is a security team in place, and they can check the cameras before confronting anybody for "theft". I hope the deli employee is lectured on their role within the store. $12 an hour is not a high enough wage to be interacting with individuals that you perceive to be crooks.

I've never had such great customer service before until now! Abby went out of her way to help me find formula for my baby and held it for me so I could make the 2 hour drive up there from concord nc. She was very personal able and kind! If this store wasn't so far away from me I'd shop there all the time!

On a visit to area. Found the store clean and well stocked. Noticed prices were less for items I purchased than in stores at home.

I cannot say enough about these stores! There are six in Henderson County alone. The stores are new, large and spacious. The shelves are well stocked, with a large variety of products. The Deli serves a variety of hot dishes at reasonable prices. The bakery has lots of fresh baked items and my husband loves their chocolate covered donuts! Between the wonderful employees and great prices, you can't beat this chain of stores.

This Ingles is very dingy and dirty, we were quite surprised having used the other Ingles on Spartanburg HWY. I ordered the fried fish like I do every Friday and it was so nasty and tough. Literally it was fish Jerky and inedible. It was like chewing fish leather! They were also a $1.00 more at $7.49 vs the other Ingles who has amazing fish on Friday for $6.49. The deli manager should be fired for letting food like this sit out and then be served to customers at 6:30 pm on a Friday evening. If we lived close I would have actually taken this to a manager to show what they are serving as "Food". The problem with most Ingles is management never does anything or tries to fix anything in any way.

Seems to be pretty well stocked compared to some other stores. Good prices and attentive employees.

Shop here almost daily after work. Needs for my family, my home, my pets. They are a fantastic store and local business. I love the deli and the staffing. They're among the most friendly and helpful 'retail' workers that can be found anywhere.

This is the worse store to go in they always have guys working late afternoon and they are always standing around talking and ignoring customers and playing on their phones and having drinks at the registers , tonight did it while my son went over to ask for the manager to ask if they had a product in stock the 2 guys at a register started talking about my son they didn’t know I was with him I yelled over to tell them that’s my son and stop talking about him then on the way out my son said to them don’t talk about me to each other tell me what your problem is then the one guy in the brown shirt laughed like it was a joke then I seen the assistant manager on the way out the door and told him the issue with them so let’s see if he takes care of that also they allow JACOB to wear his name tag upside down I will follow up with the mgr then corporate office they need to get there employees straight

We have had decent experience at the deli but the last time we went was absolutely awful. Not only did they take 30 minutes to make 4 subs. They were all smashed and soggy within minutes of them being finished. One of the workers also didn’t put on gloves before he touched the food. Also the self checkout employees were so busy running around with the their friends at the store we had to wait forever for them to come back to fix the unit before we could continue.

The manager, Phillip was just very kind and helpful to me when I was having an issue with my card. I really appreciate that! I was there with my fussy toddler and am grateful for his help. He made the situation a lot less stressful! Everyone at this store is always very kind! 💕

Grabbed gas. Usually the best price around and you can save more if you shop there and use their reward card.

Casher was ti busy looking at her phone to check me out. Charged me for 3 items, and I only had 2. Didn't notice until I got back to my job . Guess I'm out $6.00
