We stayed in Colter bay before heading up to Yellowstone. Absolutely beautiful mountain range with Iconic peaks. We hiked and caught a ferry across the lake to see the falls. Don't miss out on that it's worth it! Then we headed down to mormon row. We skipped into Jackson to catch a concert and eat. The facilities were great and the convenient accessibility to the park was greatly appreciated.

Hey if you're in the area with a trad rack and a rope, would HIGHLY recommend climbing this classic beauty! Exum ridge, the most common route, is seriously classic although can get slightly tricky with routefinding. Either way, a day hike or a backpacking trip, is very enjoyable although be safe and keep an eye on the weather!

Great National Park, a lot of nature, no internet. Beautiful views, you'll be able to ride bike, hike and discover hidden places inside de park.You will found also amazing lakes. It has a connection to the Yellowstone national park as well

One of most beautiful mountain ranges I've ever laid eyes on!! Although very remote it is absolutely worth the trip!! My wife and I have been several times now and it never ceases to amaze!!

Beautiful National Park. Not overcrowded. Amazing view of the Teton mountain. Great hikes. There is also a bike line. Jackson Lake Lodge hotel has the best view of the Grand Teton.

Absolute must if you are in Jackson, Wyoming! Would recommend hiring a 4 wheel drive car as there’s about 1.5 miles of off roading/pot holes to drive through. Park entry is $35 or $80 for a yearly membership card to all national parks. Jenny lake is recommended (pics below) it’s was an incredible view! The pictures don’t do it justice. Also if you want to see bears ask the park ranger at the entrance and they let you know the spots to go!

The mountains here are what every kid draws in a picture. Peaking scraggly mountains that butt right up to a prairie. I've been here a few times in each time is his breathtaking is the last. I recommend doing as many hikes as you can to as many lakes as you can be cause each one is full of new mountain reflections.

This has to be one of the most beautiful places in the United States! We haven't been able to see it during the summer time but the winter was amazing! It was super clean too. Make sure if you go you have to go watch the sunrise and sunset. Only wish is we were able to see more wildlife we only saw a few deer, sheep and moose but it was still a great adventure.

This is an enchanting area as it can be. It was amazingly beautiful. The lake was crystal clear and the mountains, well, just amazing!

The mountain and the lake are so peaceful here. Even every day they are all stand in the same place. But every time I watch at them still feel so different. The view of points, from the north, south, western and eastern, let them varied per day. The clouds, sun, sky, animals, weather make them outstanding per day. The cold, hot, warm, chill make them feel so different per day. The sorrow, joy, afraid and anger make them special per day. Even I want to go home some times, the view makes me stay. Respect the nature and every person I met here. Really enjoy my seasonal employee days here.

Loved the views, but in case this matters to anyone else: the trail had rocks sticking up/out from the dirt, so I spent most (at least the first half) of the hike looking down at where I was walking. This was in the late summer, so no snow cover. I was definitely out of shape, so towards the waterfall where the incline increased, I was out of breath and had to stop for a minute every so often :) The falls were gorgeous! But I'd probably rather take the ferry ride over next time, even if I'm in better physical fitness. the little "village" at the start (Jenny lake visitors center) was great. Also, at the end of our hike, we took off our shoes and waded in the water, it felt great!

This is one of the most scenic trail heads in all of the Tetons. We love coming out here multiple times!

We really enjoyed our Scenic River Cruise with Triangle X Ranch! Scheduled the 5 pm tour so we could catch some beautiful sunset views of the Tetons. Our raft had 6 people total and made for lively conversation! Dan, our guide, exercised the utmost in skills and safety all while telling interesting stories about Grand Teton National Park’s history, wildlife, and other various activities to experience while visiting. He even spotted a moose, beaver, and river otter for us! We absolutely recommend this relaxing cruise down the beautiful Snake River.

S and I booked this trip as part of our one week in Yellowstone and surrounding area. Our float guide and driver were both personable and knowledgeable! We had 10 people on the tour, all were pleasant. Scenery was stunning, as everyone's pics verify. We saw 4 bald eagles in the two hours ... one of them taking a splash bath in the river. And then amazingly, two moose(s?) drinking from the river within 100 yards of our pull-out. Great time, heartily recommend.

The scheduling and signing of waivers were all on line and easy. Instructions were clear about where to meet the crew. There were about 32 people that went, but the rafts were not packed (about 8 people per raft). Everything was on time and organized. We even got help putting on the life vests which are provided. I felt totally safe the entire float. It was so beautiful and was the highlight of our Montana/Wyoming trip. This is well worth the money!

A perfect way to start or end the day along the Snake River! We took the last float of the day and it was the absolute highlight of our trip. The company from start to finish was first class, focusing first on safety and then on their incredible expertise of the river and area. Our guide Jim was great in answering all our questions, sharing his stories, spotting wildlife and his knowledge of the area. So glad we added this tour at the last minute. So worth it.

The Float and the float guide (Jack) were a great experience, but pass on the dinner it's not worth the money. The float is very relaxing our guide did an excellent job guiding the tour on a windy day and still spotting lots of wildlife. We did the evening dinner float and the food was not good at all, the chicken breast was burned to a literal black crisp and was inedible, the other offerings were steak, salad, green beans, some diced fried potatoes, and a cookie--none of it standout and certainly not worth the extra money charged for dinner. Take the float, don't invest in the dinner and save the money to tip the guide.

We had the most amazing time! We met new people and our guide Nick, was awesome. He was friendly and the eye of an Eagle. Which he spotted 2. Also a moose and her calf laying at the water’s edge. A beaver and his amazing wood working skills. Pictures that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for a experience our family will be taking about for a lifetime. Bill

Amazing views of Teton mountain range! Definitely worth the money. Takes about 2-3 hrs to go down the river. Guides very educated so you learn a lot along the way. Guides navigate through the river very well and didn't get wet at all

What a wonderful trip! Worth every penny. Mike was our guide and he did a fabulous job . We saw so many animals. We saw a moose in the water, a bald Eagle, lots of pronghorns, about 5 busy beavers, common mergansers, and many more lovely creatures. The water was perfect and the 5:00 trip was the best time to go. We had such a great time our son and daughter-in-law booked a trip for this evening.

A must do if you don't do river rafting in Jackson. Beautiful scenery and fine for young kids as well. Highly recommend! Our guide Alex was amazing!

This was a highlight of our trip to Grand Teton. The views from the river are views you can’t see anywhere where else. Our guide Ethan was very knowledgeable and friendly. He spotted many wildlife for us. The dinner was the best meal we had during our visit. The steak was cooked perfectly!! I highly recommend this experience!!

What a spectacular float trip we had with Triangle X ranch. Jack was a wonderful guide giving us details about the River, the Tetons and the wildlife! We saw a bill moose with very big “paddles” as Jack called the antlers 😀! We also saw osprey fishing the river with 2 different bald eagles watching from the trees. I think I took 200 pictures of the Tetons. Thank you for a wonderful adventure!!

Wonderful experience! Great views of the Tetons from the Snake. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and pointed out several eagles and moose that were lounging on the riverbank. Our guide maneuvered the raft very well and was very cognizant of safety issues. Would highly recommend!

This trip was amazing! It was an alternative way to see the Tetons. There were no crowds. It was so peaceful and we had front row seats to some of the most beautiful scenery on the earth. Our guide, Jack, was great. He maneuvered the river perfectly and gave us interesting facts along the way. We were blessed to have a moose in the river directly in front of us. It was so awesome to be so close to him and watch him get to shore and get out of the river. The whole trip was an experience I will never forget. I highly recommend this trip! It is so worth it!

My wife and I had a wonderful couple of hours on our scenic raft trip with Turner down the Snake River. We met in Moose for a brief drive upriver to the launch site, and after a short safety briefing and getting into lifejackets, we climbed aboard with our 11 other riders and guide. My first question was quickly answered. We didn't get wet at all. It was a peaceful, leisurely, lovely float for the next 10 miles. Our guide Turner did an outstanding job keeping us in the flow of the water while describing our surroundings. He could spin the raft with ease, allowing for personal pictures with the Teton peaks in the background. He answered every question asked and spotted bald eagles for us to see. Definitely a couple of the best hours spent on our month long vacation. We had such a great time, we had to later stop at the IX Ranch to pick up some swag. Well done to everyone at Triangle X! Well worth our time and expense!

We did the 10 mile float trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The scenery was very beautiful with beginning to show its fall colors! Enjoyed this very much and would highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We had an amazing time on our float trip. Our guide was awesome in navigating a bit of bad weather we had with wind and rain. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, it made for an amazing trip down the river seeing 2 moose, 3 bald eagles and lots of other wildlife. Our guide answered all of our questions and had a ton of knowledge of the park, animals and the Tetons. We would highly recommend Triangle X Ranch for your float trip!

Awesome spot to check out when visiting the Grand Tetons! Lots of history here, and the Park Ranger there (Grace, if I remember correctly) was extremely helpful at planning things to see in the Tetons before winter sets in a week.

Clean and informative of what you will be seeing while touring the Tetons. Gift shop had a lot of nice pieces and variety for memorabilia. You can also get your annual passes there for the parks. Bathrooms were very clean.

The Jenny Lake Area was very crowded on this weekday, so we stopped instead at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center, (open 9-5) which had a better parking situation, and very nice restrooms. The rangers were helpful and there is a good selection of park souvenirs. They also offer weather information, which was very helpful. The building is an attractive modern style with a courtyard, where rangers will do scheduled programming and ranger led tours begin. Once you purchase the park pass, entrance here is free.

A nice museum inside. History of the region, tools used on display and different animal fur you can touch. Kids seen to have a great time. You can fill your water bottle for free here and there are lots of rangers to ask questions. There's also wifi, it's slow but guess that's not the main reason to be here. Lovely building with a great view of the mountains.

What a view from that spot!!! We even saw some deer. Also restrooms are clean. No cost to go in the visitor center. You can buy the pass, buy souvenirs and buy permits for boating, kayaking or canoeing. Gift shop there is expensive in my opinion.

While very interesting and giving a look at the area, they could do much more with the exhibits. To many words not enough pictures. The movie was very good and worth the price of admission...free. Seeing the little chaplet was also interesting.

This is a very nice visitor center. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was plenty of people to help you. It is up-to-date and modern restrooms are clean and they had a some great display.

This is a beautiful and modern visitor's center with huge ceilings and lot's of windows so that you can see the Grand Tetons! I love snowcapped peaks, so I was really excited to come here. The exhibits are actually really interesting. You can feel the fur of several animals and I was surprised by how coarse some of the hair is. Bathrooms are clean and water is available for your bottle refills. They have a movie that plays multiple times a day. We bought our annual National Park Pass here, which saved time at the entrance. The gift shop was packed!

Craig Thomas Discovery and visitor center the park is a little further back from the parking area. I feel like it’s a little hidden. You’ll have to walk up to the building in the other side. The building is clean and in good condition, lots of fun thing to look at and buy also. Lots of information.

Absolutely beautiful place! This area is one of the most gorgeous sites in the world. It offers stunning views but amazing hiking as well that accommodates any level. Cascade Canyon is a very tranquil place. Jenny Lake is always really crowded so best to come early.

Military/Veterans make sure to get your free pass to all national parks so you can your family can save the $35 to enter. A great park overshadowed by its more popular brother north of it. Definitely more of a hiking park than a sightseeing one. Most of the picturesque views require at least some hiking instead of just parking and a brisk walk like other parks.

What an incredible park! The mountain range is absolutely stunning! Sunrise should be spent at Schwabacher Trail and Jenny Lake is a must visit. Check in on the boat shuttle at Jenny Lake before planning some trails around the area. There's plenty of moose at Moose Junction and you'll catch a bear or two at sundown! Take a nice drive or bike ride down the scenic road near Jenny Lake.

It’s a gorgeous park, but I highly recommend any visitors to try to go during the weekday. The weekend is crowded, which dims the joy of being outdoors. The road ways are straightforward and easy to follow.

One of our top national parks. It’s also a short drive from our RV Park “The Park at Swan Valley”. So many great hikes around Jenny Lake. We hiked round trip to the falls and didn’t do the ferry. Our 3 1/2 yr old walked most of the way on that hike

Beautiful country. Great camping. Nice people. Amazing mountains. There is a fee to enter the main park, but I had an America the Beautiful pass that got me in. So I'm not sure what the fee is. I think $10 per car.

I believe it is a 35 dollar cost to enter the park unless you have a national park pass. The park is just beautiful. The mountains are stunning. There was not a spot we went to that was not stunning. Saw some deer and elk having some breakfast on the side of the road. Jenny Lake is as stunning as the mountains. I highly recommend spending some time admiring the beauty of this national park

Just a beautiful park. The views are mesmerizing and unforgettable. We were there on a clear day and the sun was out. Just an overall surreal experience. You must go to Mormon Row and see the backdrop that some of the earlier settlers enjoyed.

This is a must visit if you are into the great outdoors. We camped here for 4 nights and loved it. While fly fishing, we Caught trout right out of the river next to the camp. Moose and deer galore. Teton Village and Jenny lake were amazing. A short drive to Yellowstone.

All I can say is it is magical in the winter. The mountains are majestic! The wildlife is amazing. I went snowshoeing with a Ranger and loved it. I would highly recommend visiting any time of year.

Wonderful place. Nice trails, great views. Will be crowded in the summer so be ready if you stick to popular trails. Cell service is spotty at best, but expected in a NP. You will love this place.

We loved this National Park! Wish we could have spent more time here! We visited in mid-June and the weather was great. We enjoyed using our stand up paddle board at String Lake (make sure you get the proper inspection first!), and we very much appreciated the miles of paved bike paths that we were able to safely ride along with our two young kids in their bike trailer. Can't wait to return when they're older to try some of the incredible hikes!

Loved, loved, loved it! So beautiful! Highly recommend everyone to find a way to get here. Jennie Lake is crystal clear and irresistible, bring your bathing suit. There is a boat shuttle across the lake that takes you to a waterfall. Unfortunately we did not go. Nice Visiting Center, Gift Shop and plenty of bathrooms. Picnic areas are nice and lots of pull offs.

Beautiful views! The trails are great. The lakes are clear and pretty. The mountains are gorgeous. There are shorter, easier trails for kiddos and longer trails for adults. Inspiration point was a view worth the hike.

It’s adjacent National park to Yellowstone stone National park and has its own magnificent nature of mountains and grass land which inhabits elk, moose, bison and many more wild animals. It has very great view. Don’t miss to visit the Jenny lake hike and Jackson hole village.

I’ve been hiking these mountains since I was a kid. One of the most beautiful places to visit, and if you can avoid the touristy seasons by going in September or October it’s even better. Highly recommend the Cascade Canyon hikes all the way up to Hurricane Pass, or coming from the Idaho side and visiting Table Mountain. Not easy hikes but backpacking in Alaska Basin was also an awesome experience.

Spectacular majestic snow capped mountains. Hiking around Jenny Lake and up to Inspiration Point was lovely! I experienced the freshest air I've ever breathed in the Tetons. I love this park!

Grand Teton had some gorgeous places. I photographed a destination wedding here and it turned out gorgeous. Here are a few spots we took photos... mountians lakes and lots of other things to see and explore.

Last year my wife and I went to the Teton mountains, we had planned this trip in 2022 and it just so happened to be my 50th. anniversary of visiting the park for the first time as a teenager. The Tetons are my most favorite mountain range ever since that 1973 family vacation and I named my first dog a Wolf/Husky hybrid after those mountains. It was a 14 day trip as we took our time going out there and spending a week in the park. We also did the Lake Solitude hike as well. Wyoming is one of my favorite states, I guess there's a bit of Cowboy in me. We'll eventually go out west again and maybe go through the park just to get another fix of the splendid grandeur.

Grand Teton National Park is a winter wonderland not to be missed. Snow-capped peaks, frozen lakes, We only did Jenny lake and Taggert lake. I loved the serene forests that create a magical scene. Enjoy activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, my friend and I hiked 15 miles total, dress cozy. The night sky is also mesmerizing, we didn’t see any wildlife and it wasn’t as crowded, but I can’t wait to see the park at a different time a year.

One of the most majestic places on this planet and also one of the most underrated national parks in the US simply because it's next to Yellowstone. A few tips for visitors: 1) Summer is a good time to visit but it's very crowded. Late fall to early winter is the best time because you have less crowds but roads are still open and you see lots of undisturbed wildlife. 2) Lodging gets expensive in spring and summer so book ahead. Jackson Hole is expensive so you can try the nearby small towns.

Great view from higher up. You can't see the full Teton range from the top, but you might be able to with a short hike from the next stop down.

Beautiful easy drive to the top. The bonus was seeing a mama bear and her 3 cubs. She walked near our truck and went up into the woods. Then around the corner we saw a fox with a critter in its mouth. Well worth the drive to the top.

ABSOLUTELY stunning. Beautiful drive. Follow the signage that says "NO TRAILERS". Definitely some hair pin turns and tight squeeze places to pass each other but totally worth it.

A must visit. From the main road it's about 15 minutes up to the summit, I think highest point that one can drive in the park. We saw it close to sunset and views are spectacular from there. There a few paths with different viewpoints.. Check out some of my photos.

Little hard to drive but view is magnificent. We went on a rainy day but I can imagine how amazing it is!

You must go here. Grand Teton is perhaps the most photogenic National Park. This viewpoint allows you to see an almost 360 degree view of the surrounding area, with a couple of viewpoints to see the Tetons from elevation. The Snake River and Bridger-Teton National Forest are below you as well. A short drive to the top presents a great place for a picnic or a few minutes of awe.

Has restroom facilities. Nice views. Beautiful wildflowers. Busy with tourists. A bit hazy. Needed low gears for steep road.

Worth the drive up! Beautiful viewpoint. We didn't do any hiking up here, just stopped to take pics.

There’s a winding narrow five mile drive up to two view points. The first is quite small and crowded, it’s best to continue on to the top, where there is more parking. A short walk up a paved path to the overlook rewards you with stunning views of the valley below. I thought the view was neat but I wouldn’t do the drive again. Too many people driving too fast and veering into the middle on turns. I was driving a little Honda and I was constantly being pushed to the very edge of the road. Also it clearly says no large vehicles or RVs and we had a rental motorhome almost run us off into the bushes. But, like I said, the view at the top is stunning.

This was one of the best views we had! If you have the time, do it! There are 2 pullout areas. The first is near the cell tower. There is another one further up the road. Views are slightly different from each perspective.

We went there by mistake. We thought this is the Jackson Point Overlook. However, the view is great. When we were there, it was raining very hard. There is a VZ signal tower there, I was surprised to have strong signal. The view of the Jackson Lake is blocked by trees. You should go for the Jackson Point Overlook.

This is a well maintained road to the summit with beautiful scenery. We rode our e-bikes up and back down this road. Very easy and vehicles are courteous. There are 2 different places to stop to see the views, which are incredible. The first stop has trails to see the views. They are easy and short. The second stop is paved and a short walk to the top. Highly recommend this drive. Very pretty!

Definitely worth the drive to the summit of Signal Mountain when driving through Grand Teton. I'd reccommend stopping at both turn out points, and spending a few minutes at each admiring the views. It's not a far walk to the look out points from the road, and the views are well worth the detour!

Beautiful scenery, and plenty of wildlife during my visit in the winter. During my visit (January) the road to the barn was actually closed, but the walking trail still accessible. Moose and mule deer are plentiful, and this is a must stop if you are in the area.

Spectacular views on Mormon Row in Wyoming- a short drive from Grand Teton National Park or downtown Jackson Hole with the historic T. A. Moulton Barn you can tour and views as far as the eye can see.

A must see when you are visiting the grand tetons. Not only is this spot historic, but its also the most photographed barn in the US. Its such a beautiful view!

Whether your just traveling through, looking to snap a quick family portrait, or saying I do, it would be hard to find a more popular spot to stop in Jackson Hole. TA Moulton Barn on Mormon Row has become an iconic symbol of the west and it's popularity only continues to grow. One of the places you have to stop at when visiting the Tetons. Sure this barn has been photographed by just about everyone, but there is still something to be said about stopping here and catching a photo of your own.

Historic site, reasonably well preserved and has been an attraction and picture symbol for grand Teton national park. A wooden barn with angular roof on the backdrop of snow capped mountains makes for a perfect frame. There are bunch of ground squirrels "uintee" to keep you company while you take many shots. There is no perimeter for visitors maybe there should be. Also hardly any written board or plack to indicate the history/info of the place. We were met by a kind park official who provided some info but more sustainable info should be there.

There are two barns- one Mormon Row. Settlers John and the other TA Moulton Barn. Both are fairly popular and not too far from each other. TA Moulton is a little more popular with more professional photographers. We arrived fairly early at 7AM and there were people already there. The good thing is that everyone is pretty much super respectful of each other. So I would highly recommend not getting too close to the barn b/c you will be in other people's shots. But the barn itself is really cool and the Grand Tetons behind it offer beautiful pictures. Btw, the barn has become the symbol of Jackson.

Was a cloudy day but even if clear it wasn't really worth the drive to see.

Such an awesome sight to see!! Was blown away and in awe of the whole Grand Teton experience. Definitely gonna have to get back over there and do a lot more exploring. If you're in the area, take the drive and see this barn. You'll probably be there with several other tourists, but it's still worth it.

Love visiting this place over the summer several times this year. It’s a spectacular view of the Teton mountain range in Grand Teton National Park along with many other places within the park. I found a group of individuals sharing their story of how those early pioneers lived and struggled. They had a lot of activities going on. The kids were playing games and dressing up. We even learned how to build a cabin and made some rope. We had fun with the buck saw cutting a huge log. This place is a must see. Thanks for doing this. Hopefully we can come back

It's one of the photographed places in the Teton and maybe the most famous barn house in North America. It's a beauty in peacefulness, especially during the winter times there are no tourists and you can enjoy the scenery for yourself.

One of the most photographed locations in the Tetons! And for good reason. The vast landscape is absolutely stunning with its autumn colors. We encountered several professional photographers at this site. It also wasn’t that crowded surprisingly. Definitely a sight you don’t want to miss while visiting the Tetons. I’ve only seen this place in screensavers until now!

The barn is as beautiful as I had imagined. Very interesting to hear the history of the barn. Can only imagine how these settlers lived in this beautiful area, if only for a relatively brief time.

Words can't explain the imagery here. The backdrop of the Tetons with the barn is magnificent. Those are the most beautiful mountains I've seen and the historic barn/area is such an added bonus. A must see if in the area

Beautiful lake with beautiful views of the mountains you can enjoy when you go swimming. Easily accessible from the nearby campsites and lodging. Plenty of space along the shore makes it easy to find an uncrowded spot. There's also a restaurant close by for a nice post-swim bite.

Great place to visit in different seasons. A place you can yell and get your stress off your chest.

Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park is so beautiful.

Gorgeous!! This is one of the most stunning places in the Tetons. We spent half a day enjoying the clear water, the landscape, everything was amazing.

After seeing whether predictions we planned for 1 day grand teton tour. Went to Jackson lake sun was still out everything was fine. We took a ferry to hidden falls and inspiration point. While coming back either we can take a trail or ferry. Once you reach other part of lake there is a small trail. Air is so fresh around that place. Suddenly it started raining when we went.Each view point is spectacular and refreshing.

I've been fishing and enjoying the beauty of Jackson Lake for 30-plus years. A delight in so many ways!

I went ice fishing today on Jackson lake right at the base of mount Moran. The ice is around 4feet thick. What a beautiful sight. It is breathtaking. What a beautiful place I live. I went back Ice fishing one more time last Saturday, April 20 just before the ice disappears into the deep blue lake. What a successful and beautiful day it was. Once again it’s like no place on earth.

We took a break while traveling south through Yellowstone and stopped along the road at Jackson Lake. Set out two lawn chairs and didn’t get tired of the vista of mountains and river. So calm, serene and peaceful!

What a pretty site to behold. Driving past I had to stop for a few pictures of the wild flowers and mountains in the background. Stop and check it out. Jackson Lake is in Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming. This natural lake was enlarged by the construction of the Jackson Lake Dam, which was originally built in 1911, enlarged in 1916 and rebuilt by 1989. As part of the Minidoka Project the top 33 ft of the lake is used by farmers in Idaho for irrigation purposes under water rights legislation that was enacted prior to the establishment of Grand Teton National Park. The lake is the remnant of large glacial gouging from the neighboring Teton Range to the west and the Yellowstone Plateau to the north. The lake is primarily fed by the Snake River, which flows in from the north, and empties at Jackson Lake Dam. Jackson Lake is one of the largest high altitude lakes in the United States, at an elevation of 6,772 ft above sea level. The lake is up to 15 miles long, 7 mi wide and 438 ft deep. Inspiration point hike combined with the Hidden falls hike is a must do thing inside the Grand Tetons national park. For the trailhead you need to travel by car to the Jenny lake visitor center inside the park. This lake is so calm and has a pristine blue color especially early in the morning thats instantly relaxing. From here there are two options. You can take a boat shuttle to the other end of the lake and start the hike or else take a trail around the lake ( which adds an additional 3 miles to your total hike) to reach the same point at the other end of the lake. We reached before the first boat service started for the day and so we chose to take the trail to reach the diametrically opposite side of the lake from the visitor center. This portion of the trail is fairly flat and easy. Once you reach the other end of the lake, we went along the trail that took us to the Inspiration point where you can get beautiful panoramic views of the Tetons ranges behind you as well as the Jenny lake in front. There are nice spots to sit and relax here as well. We continued further where the trail takes you deep into the Teton ranges. This was really gorgeous and I really enjoyed it. The trail to the Inspiration point is moderately difficult especially because it gets narrow in certain sections and also because it has steps quick forces you to lift your legs for each stride. Also there are switchbacks which combined with the steps can easily make one tired. However there can be mild breezes that blow your way which is very refreshing. On the way back we went to the hidden falls which was beautiful and the water was the right temperature ( not too cold not too hot). After the hike, we took the ferry back ( there is option to just take one way ticket for the ferry) to the visitor center. Once you get out of the Jenny lake visitor center, it joins a scenic drive loop road around the park where you can get majestic views of the Grand Tetons ranges. The two places we stopped to get the best photographs were the mountain lookout and the cascade look out. Be careful inside the parks and also on the hikes since this is bear nation and you are most likely to find them especially if you are hiking early in the morning.

An wonderful, magical place to visit. Lives up to the name of inspiration point. We just went to the lake lookout because it was heavily raining that day. The fog just made it even more beautiful to the eyes. Wonderful place to take pictures and have fun. Plenty of green was there as well. Mesmerizing view of the lake, cloud and mountain were making a perfect ingredient for the ‘INSPARATION POINT’. This place is little off the regular hiking trail however should eb a must visit if you are the nature lover. There might be wild life there as well, however as it was raining, so we were not that lucky. The lake shore is around 100 feet away from parking spot, no hike or trail required. The roads towards the inspiration point is narrow and one lane, please be careful of driving just like any other point. If you are on wheelchair , it is accessible however lots of loose gravels , be careful. It could be a good picnic spot if you have your lunch packed and enjoy the lake front. Interestingly this place is just back of the lodge where you can probably access through the lodge , having a rest room as well and a restaurant.

The view here is spectacular! Well worth the boat ride and short hike. Get there as early as you can to beat the crowd.

We took the boat ride over, hiked to hidden falls then up the inspiration points then to cascade canyon. The hike is beautiful and I would rate it easy-moderate, not much shade so wear a hat and lots of sunscreen! We came mid day and it wasn’t too crowded.

I would not qualify this as a challenging hike as others have posted, but your personal fitness will affect your ability to do this hike. It is rocky and requires stable footwear with a cushioned footed. The crowds are insane. Just hike it already as the ferry line gets backed up quick and by the time you rode across, you could have been there and nearly back again. We hiked the entire Lake Trail before coming up here and continuing on to Cascade Canyon. This was a scenic view. Good, and worth the effort if you're here. The views in Cascade Canyon are even better though, so push on if you are able.

One of the easiest and shortest trails in Grand Teton for a great payoff. It's just a short mile hike from the boat dock on Jenny Lake to get up to the point. It is very well groomed bit the last quarter mile does get a bit tougher and does step up in elevation. Whether you hike around Jenny Lake or take the boat across it is definitely worth it.

My husband and I snowshoed all the way to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point yesterday. Unfortunately, because the snow covered most of the trails and we came out on the first day it opened, we were unable to find the Jenny Lake Trailhead from the South entrance that hugs the left side of the lake. Instead we took the trail that looks like the black dotted line more on the left on the AllTrails map (the Western leg of the Hidden Falls loop trail). We followed the tracks of other snowshoes. It takes you up the mountain to incredible views of the lake along the way. Just be aware that at one point, you’re essentially walking across a double black diamond slope over 3-4 feet of snow. After seeing the falls and Inspiration Point, we tried to find the trail that hugs the lake on our way back South (we decided not the do the whole loop around Jenny Lake since it was going to rain), but found bear tracks and decided to turn around and go back the same way we came from. It was difficult to hike this with snowshoes, so it would be incredibly challenging to attempt this without at this time. The bridges that cross the river were also covered in 4 feet of snow.

Stunning views. You’ll think you’ve gone to the top - you haven’t. Once you go to the rock staircase you’ll see a sign for inspiration point. It’s definitely worth it. We saw a mama moose and her baby!

This is a moderate hike, a lot of up hill and at some point a smaller set of staircase towards the end that is fairly close to the cliff. So if you are afraid of heights this may not be for you. There are about 2x you may think you reached the top that still has nice views of the lake. It is so satisfying to reach the top so go for it!

Built in 1925, this little church is full of history. They still have Sunday services. I love the view. Very easy drive from Jackson, and would recommend this to all. Parking is easy for vans , cars, even rvs. I don't believe there is a restroom there though.

Historic chapel that felt like entering a time machine. There’s a bell you can ring and you can really feel how important a place like this must have been to the local community.

The Chapel of The Transfiguration is a beautiful log chapel near Moose, within Grand Teton National Park. It was built in 1925 so settlers wouldn’t have to travel all the way into Jackson for church services. With no cars or bridges, and terrible roads, that would have been a harrowing endeavor. Instead of a stained glass window behind the altar, a large window frames magnificent Grand Teton. The chapel is open for prayer and quiet reflection.

Another picturesque spot! Boy if this was your view from church all the time, then they would have a full house every Sunday. Thankfully, we were there in between tour buses as it is a popular spot for guided tours. The pictures really do not do it justice as to the massive Tetons in the background. Amazing!

This is a beautiful little church. The building itself is quite simple inside and out, but God provides His own glory. The picture window at the front of the sanctuary brings the glory of the Tetons right into the room. We were not there when a public worship service was happening so I cannot comment on that or one the theology of this church.

A great stop at the entrance of Grand Teton park. The scenery in winter was beautiful and the path despite being under deep snow, was fun and interesting. The view is excellent on the mountain peaks.

It’s a tiny chapel but very lovely. It has a very good view of Mount Teton peak. This place seems popular because you can see those tourist buses come one by one.

Very cool experience to walk inside this old church with a beautiful, stunning view of the Grand Tetons.

A historic 1925 Episcopal Church. The land donated by Maude Nobles who lived close by and owned Menors Ferry. They still have worship services on Sunday in the summer. Beautiful view of the mountain.

Went to catch the sunrise on a Sunday morning in September. The good spots fill up pretty quick, and there's limited parking, so you'll want to get there like half an hour before actual sunrise. There are a couple of restoration areas but people weren't paying heed to it. Wish there was a ranger with the authority to stop them. The views are pretty good! Going to the end is just a quarter mile walk and I would recommend it for the different angles and viewpoints. Most people just get to the start which is the main viewing area.

If you are into photography and getting beautiful pictures of reflections of the surrounding area and Teton mountains then this is a must stop location to get out and take the short hike to get those shots, best to do early in the morning before winds pick up and cause ripples on top of the water. The road is easily accessible by cars. No dogs allowed except in parking lot or on road but not trails. Trail is easy for all types of hikers. Enjoy great scenery and views of wildlife. Good spot for bird watching. Carry bear spray as there is always a chance for a bear encounter. Take a lunch with you for a nice picnic with family or that special someone. Rangers do patrol the area to make sure everyone is safe and following the rules as well as answering any and all questions about the area and wildlife.

An absolute gem!! Either visit very early - at dawn to witness the stunning sunrise - or also during later afternoon time like here on my picts from August 2019. Sooo incredibly lucky to have been able to observe a moose for a very long time. Loved every second of it!! ❤️

Beautiful throughout the day but especially in the wee hours of the morning! Was lucky enough to see some moose on an early morning. Trails are clear and easy to maneuver through. Parking can get crowded during sunrise so try to come early, find a peaceful seat, and enjoy the show

Beautiful site for watching the mountains and bird watching. Only about a quarter mile hike on flat trails to the Beaver pond where there are benches and areas to sit and take in the marvelous views.

Schwabacher Landing is one of the most beautiful spots in the Jackson Hole area and by far one of our favorites to visit through the summer and fall months. The combo of mountains views and being close to the water make this spot hard to beat if you only have time to stop off at a few places while you're visiting town. A fantastic spot for photos at sunrise or sunset. At sunrise you'll find the Tetons lit with soft morning light. At sunset, the clouds behind the Tetons are on display. This trip we didn't have great weather, but did come out with a few nice photos.

Mesmerizing view of the snow clad mountain. And the reflection. What can I say. Must visit and definitely in the morning hours. Evening hours are also great, but sun on the east side makes a bid difference in the reflection. So worth the morning visit.

I was able to capture some beautiful pictures of the majestic Teton Mountains and capture the texture of the surrounding landscape. I was able to capture a stunning reflection of the Tetons at sunrise when the Snake River was still. I saw a 3 moose crossing the river as well.

This is a nice stop outside the park. The drive to it isn’t particularly smooth but any vehicle can manage it. The view is amazing, just like anywhere else in the area. If you have time, make this little detour.

If you visit GTNP, this is definitely an attraction point. You can easy to get the reflection of the Grand Teton Mountains and the blue sky on the peaceful water.

Absolutely beautiful Tetons and their reflection in the Snake river. If you want to stretch your legs and walk/run alongside Tetons and Snake river, there's a trial to do that. We were also lucky enough to see elk and bison. Don't miss this during sunrise/sunset.

I absolutely love this spot. So many beautiful and amazing views to take in, and more importantly, photograph. The peacefulness, serenity, reflections in the water, the incredible grandeur of the Tetons, and of course, the wildlife (when it does make an appearance 😅🤣) make this an absolute must stop any and every time I visit GTNP. It’s truly one of my top favorite places in the whole world. There is limited parking, so getting there early for sunset and sunrise is advised. During regular daytime hours though, you should have no problems getting a parking spot. There is also a restroom onsite as well. Bring big spray during the summer months. It’s outside the actual park itself, so no fee required. If you’re ever at GTNP, definitely check out this spot at least once for a sunrise or sunset!

Well known best location for sunrise. We got up at 5am and drove here from Jackson Hole. Watch the sign on left side of route 191 because it is easy to miss. We got a big big surprise ... after we turned to small road, a male moose was standing on the road! We are so exited to take photo till he walked away. Hope we didn't disturb him. At 5:51am, Sunrise was beautiful and lights on the mountains were splendid.

The name "Schwabacher Landing" in Grand Teton National Park originates from John S. "Jack" Schwabacher, a German immigrant. This scenic location is renowned for its stunning vistas of the Teton Range and Snake River, attracting photographers and nature enthusiasts. There's a pleasant short hike offering a fantastic view of the Grand Tetons reflecting on the river. Additionally, the parking area provides restroom facilities for visitors' convenience.

One of the best, underrated, stops on your Grand Teatons tour. The hike is nice and easy, along the river. You are likely to bump into a Moose, and for sure into tons of blue butterflies 🦋! Be sure to have insect repellant ready, as always in Yellowstone area.

Fun family experience. The show was very entertaining. Food was good, not great, but still worth the overall price with the show. Our kids had the ribs and chicken. Hubby and I had the steak and beef/chicken combo. We all agreed the ribs tasted the best. The biscuits served before the show were delicious! Glad we checked this out while visiting Jackson Hole.

Really great experience. Enjoyed the atmosphere and culture around all of that. Sad to see that is could be torn down so that houses can be built on the land. Huge hit to the area.

If you get a chance to go you better do it and unfortunately this is the last year for this dinner show. I'll make it happen multiple times this summer because not only is the food excellent but the music, comedy, singing and harmonies are even better and its a rare occasion I can smile, laugh or be emotional for an entire show every time I see it. The guys are incredibly talented and entertaining. They will be missed as I feel this type of quality, family oriented entertainment is dying in today's world. Places like Branson, MO still have some great family performers but that's not in our backyard! 😢

The whole experience was fantastic. The ranch has a great atmosphere with friendly people and well maintained grounds. The food was delicious and served in true chuck wagon form. The music by the Bar J Wranglers was superb mixed with fun dose of humor. Great time for the whole family.

I have loved going to see The Bar J Wranglers throughout the years. The music, food, entertainment, and environment can't be beat! Even though the the tickets are a little pricey, you're paying for the food, and entertainment...and you can go back for seconds if you would like. Unfortunately this is their last season. So if you want to see them, call to make a reservation!

A must-do when visiting Jaskson Hole. The entertainment is fun for all ages and the food is good. There is even a train for the younger kids to ride. Probably the only thing you may need to know is that if you do have younger children the show does run a bit late into the evening. Overall, great experience!

We've loved coming here for years (my husband and I came with our families when we were teens and now we've been bringing our kids a handful of times - who are now teens)!!! The evening is reasonably priced for dinner and a show. Good food, organized, well explained & quick lines (the last time we went out was 90%capacity and they got the entire crowd through the food line in just under 20min) They put on a delightful show! They work hard to have original jokes and stories. We love their voices and their instrument playing is phenomenal!!!!

Such an amazing experience. Large helpings of food, plenty of coffee and lemonade. This is their last season doing this, so get your tickets and support them. You won't see entertainment like this ever again.

Beautiful lake and well worth the visit when visiting the park. Not a rough hike, just tough finding a parking spot. Plenty of shade for breaks. The water was opaque and butterflies were everywhere!

The most special alpine lake for summer dips or winter backcountry skiing. So special that my fiancé proposed here!!

I didn't remember much of the hike and lake from when I was younger, but it was the perfect hike for my small family. The trail follows the creek and there many a places to stop and take photos (aka rest) as necessary. One stop is the bridge on your way up. I have two photos, but Grand Teton Peak is at the top of the cascade - beautiful! Wear sunscreen, even though there seems to be plenty of shady spots to stop under, the elevation makes it a little easier to burn. Take a change of clothes so you can jump in and cool off during the dog days of summer. We didn't hike to Bradley Lake, but wish we did. As others have mentioned, hike to Bradley Lake first and be a little easier?

Nice hike. Beautiful views. Using the Taggart Lake Trailhead, I combined Taggart Lake, Bradley Lake, Surprise Lake, Amphitheater Lakes and Delta Lake - all of them into a 15.3 mile out and back hike. According to my Garmin, I've 5,000 ft of total elevation gain. Other than early rain and wet bushes along the trail, it was awesome!

It was an adventurous hike. We were a group of five. We started our hike when the sun is almost down. It was 1.6 mile hike each way which took almost 40-45 minutes. We took bear spray with us. When we reach to the lake we were the last person on the lake and no one’s were there. Such a serenity and calmness!!! The beauty of the Tetons from this lake was really mesmerizing!! If you are visiting Grand Teton NP I would tell you shouldn’t miss this hike and the great great views…. ⛰🏔🏔

Easy hike. Pictures can't capture the full beauty of the lake reflecting the peaks. I've never seen fresh water this clear.

We hit a spectacular day - cool with a big blue sky. This hike is so worth it - different terrain, spectacular scenery and lake.
