This place is beautiful, if INSANELY busy. But what I do not appreciate is the fact that it isn’t patrolled by any security I could find. I looked for someone to talk to about this man and his unleashed dog (who did trip someone right before I started recording). No dogs should be unleashed in public places except dog parks, but especially not super busy shopping centers! I am medically fragile and TERRIFIED of dogs because, friendly or not, one jump dislocated my hip and is the reason I am parking in handicap parking still. Please leash dogs people, and, Assembly Row, where do people go to when they need support? I just left and didn’t shop because I didn’t feel and was not safe, but that’s not fair to me. This person should know better, and unleashed dots do NOT belong here.

Cute area, very festive looking during Christmas and NY! Next to the T (Assembly), many options for food and drink, many options for shopping - clothes, home decor - you name it. You could easily spend a whole day here. The ground floors are mostly shops and above those are newly constructed apartments - I suppose it must be super fancy living there!!

Assembly Row is very nice. There are plenty of shops to purchase clothing sneakers and food scattered around the area, as well as food trucks. Plenty of variety. I noticed that only one place (lucky strike 1st strike) I think one of those names but it's like Dave&Busters and awesome as well but there is only 1 place to go like that there. No other kind of entertainment that I could find. Lovely scenery my the river large grass area and kids park. I can see myself just hanging out in the grass by the river on a sunny day enjoy a few snacks purchased from around the area. Would highly recommend visiting at least one time. Great new addition to the area. The only reason I give it 4 stars 🌟 I feel they need to add more entertainment like escape rooms obstacle course rooms some other form of interactive attractions in the location.

Beautiful modern mall with a fair amount of parking for the Boston area. Near to public transit and and a large paid parking lot although some large stores have their own free lots. Expect to walk a lot but you will have your choice of stores dining or a movie

I like Assembly Row. It has great stores. It's easy on the eyes because everything is new & maintained. There's a little bit of parking. That being said, I don't understand the layout/ concept for New England - it's essentially an outdoor mall. Add snow and ice and freezing cold temps & wind and it loses it's appeal.

Very pretty place , good quality stores as well as outlet, prices are good and there’s a reasonable number of places to eat and rest, marina is nice , assembly subway station on orange line, fast to get from downtown state station.

Pleasantly surprised by the development in this area / mall, shops, cafes, eateries, and business district. A fair amount of construction going around but all-in-all a happening place for sure!

1 of my favorite places. Lots of really delicious food choices and always adding more. Plenty of entertainment and abundant parking, which is also really cheap. Every time I go back something new has opened up. Easy to walk around since everything is in a block format.

It’s a far travel depending on where you are coming from. Typically come here for paint nite at the muse paint bar. Love going there. They have quite a few shops and restaurants. Atmosphere is always nice and never too crowded.

Great theater! The staff is really nice, maybe a tad bit distracted at times but hey, young people. Clean everything, great quality audio visual and I'm pretty sure every theater on site has comfortable reclining seats!

It's so claustrophobic. They have squeezed so many skyscrapers in a small space. The food and shopping are good but parking is tough and if you plan to be there over 3 hours, you have to pay to park. There are better places to go such as Lynnfield or Burlington.

I remember going to this movie theater as a little girl . I sat up in the balcony and saw pippi longstockings in the '70s it was one of my best childhood memories the movie theater has not changed much! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie we saw!

Great venue and experience. It is a small place inside, so be wary when the house is full, but the snack bar and options are plentiful. The floor is sticky, so be prepared to have a bit of a tough time while getting to your seats.

Fantastic new venue! Above the movie theater. Nicely appointed with long bar at back with some quiet seating, then the main floor with some tables around the sides and lotsa standing room, then a step down towards the front for a dance floor in front of stage. Saw the Hot 8 Brass Band and they were awesome!!

Feb 2024 The environment is very nice, the style is kept from the original architecture so it has history I personally enjoyed that. Enjoyed an interesting film with pop corn and added some kettle corn flavor. They have a self serve water station- so cute.

My favorite theater to go to, the charm, the prices, and the quality of both new and old movies they put out in amazing. I love their mini pop up series of older movies that you cant watch in theaters anymore. Only place around you get to do that for so cheap. Love it.

Wonderful small venue in a classic new england small town theater. Intimate and small enough that even the back rows are close enough to feel like you are in the front row.

This is a beautiful theater but they desperately need to renovate the balcony to incorporate a design to account for stage visibility. Currently, if you have anyone even vaguely tall in front of you, you will miss anything that happens in the front half of the stage. You can see from my video what the view was like, and we were the front row of an ELEVATED area. Multiple theater goers complained about this as well so I know I’m not alone with this issue.

Cool theatre for small, independent films. Watched a movie there for the first time tonight, How to Rob, and it was great!! They depend on volunteers to make events happen so do support your local artists and businesses!

Lovely theater. It's not very large but the atmosphere was pleasant. Hated that there was no parking for the event nearby but that's just the area I suppose.

Great local, independent cinema located at Davis Square. My preferred choice to watch 70mm screenings of movies ( I have watched 3 of them so far here : Dunkirk, Oppenheimer and 2001: A Space Odyssey). Tickets are relatively cheap as well. It is also conveniently located near a parking lot right down the street which is pretty cheap. Street parking is also available. Walking distance from plenty of restaurants and bars for pre or post movie food/drink options.

I went to see Oppenheimer in 70mm in the main theater room in mid-August 2023. PRO: - The theater had a beautiful vintage design, which was a refreshing change from the flat and conservative design of most chain theaters. - The staff was friendly. - The temperature and seating in the main room were good. IMPROVEMENTS: - There was no water fountain, though I expect this was an intentional choice to drive concession sales.

Well! If you are look for opera and old school like of theatre this is the place to go. Low old school seating, magnificent screen. All I could image was history that were created here. We came to watch Oppenheimer in their 70mm theatre. Seating is first come. Got ample of seats to choose from. Would recommend one visit to this theatre for the experience. Snacks & drinks are available.

I love the Somerville theatre! Really great programming and always a fun time at the movies. My only gripe is they sometimes have live events and if you're just there to see a film some of the sound bleeds through. Only an occasional issue though!

It was an experience for lifetime to watch Oppenheimer on a 109 year old theater in 70 mm screen. Beautiful management, clean and convenient. Also affordable tickets for all.

The theater is nice, but EVERY time I go there, the older, bearded guy at the counter is rude AF before I've even had a chance to open my mouth. He doesn't belong in a customer facing role, and he probably needs some anger management. Way to spoil a good time, buddy.

The show we saw was first come first serve in regards to seating. Totally fine, except the seats in the back half of the balcony section had terrible visibility to the stage. Not to mention the seats were SNUG and very uncomfortable. I get that this is a historic building and theater, but I think some updating to the seating situation to provide more comfort and visibility to all patrons is warranted.

Mar2024: Enjoyed the vibes and local beer I heard was good. They have this cool machine to make your own non alcoholic beverage. And the live music was nice as well with food spots to eat from if hungry. Took us forever to locate this spot but eventually we made it.

Simply the best. Zero Meridian is a favorite, but honestly I like the large majority of what ends up on tap. Incredibly welcoming team, great atmosphere, and fabulous food options available. I am so thankful to have them in the neighborhood!

Went there on a friday, and when I got there it was nice and quiet. They open at 5 so at around 6:30 the place was much fuller and the venezuelan food area was also full. The beer was great, and the fact they have food right there is amazing. The food was spectacular, I cannot say enough good things about it. The overall experience was great, the volume of the music was great also. It allows you to have an actual engaged conversation with the person you go with. Overall 10/10 experience.

Great place! We came when there was a live jazz show that was really good. There is a wide range of tasty beers, and the food is delicious. There's a really cool vibe. Also, it's a huge place with different events on each side of the brewery. Will definitely come back!

Nice spot to go with friends. It’s a large space that has pop up like restaurants as well. The ceilings are high. The beer is good. There is an odd Bevi machine. The tasting flights are preset and don’t allow for substitutions. It feels kind of darkly lit.

Great brewery with some really unique beers. Very friendly staff. The bartender was amazing and gave us a lot of information about the beers. They are right next to a venezuelan place if you want food that you can order with your beer.

Great place to kill some time and enjoy some good beer. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoying talking with the chocolate shop owner as well. Fun games, interesting art, and overall a nice vibe. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town!

10/10 beer and 10/10 covid safety! this place had great outdoor seating which was six feet apart as you can see in the photos and had great covid precautions from the waiters, waitresses, and all of the staff. Everyone was wearing masks and I felt very safe. There are walk-up tables available as seen in the 2nd photo however there are only three and they do not have heaters so I would recommend making a reservation if you can.

Loved the old Dedham location. The movie theater venue was quite appropriate to house unspeakably bad art as we all feared some art student would make an indie film starring all of the subjects captured in the paintings and sculptures.

Note the museum is inside the brewery, it’s a bit loud and more of a bar/restaurant so you might not get a “museum” experience. It’s definitely nice if you have some drinks and snacks. The art is goofy and I appreciate that they don’t take it too seriously. It’s a nice an addition if you’re already going to the brewery or restaurant inside.

It's not at this location anymore. And they don't have a new location yet. I don't want to give stars but this app doesn't let me write this review without doing that. Never saw the museum, but I did interact with a really cool dude at the movie box office (the museum used to be in the basement of a movie theater). So he's worthy of a couple of stars. He did tell me that all the bad art is on their website. TL;DR Disappointed that the museum wasn't there, happily to meet the cool dude at the theater who told me the theater wasn't there anymore.

I'm a told this is where the permanent installation of the MOBA artwork will be. About 2 dozen pieces on display at the brewery. Very interesting pieces with their own charm. Overall a pleasant experience and definitely recommended.

Small room beneath the Somerville Theater. You can get in either by requesting free tickets online, or with any movie ticket. It's literally just one room, full of paintings. Most are just kind of weird, not like comically bad. It's an interesting way to spend a rainy day, or kill time if you're already at the theater, but it'll only take like 15-30 min of your time.

Nothing bad about this museum! It's awesome. I used to go all the time when I lived in RI. Also noticed that it's in the Zillionaires Board Game.here's the card

It’s at the Dorchester brewery which has a friendly staff and many specialty drinks on tap. Many interesting choices by the artists but they tried hard

This is a nice little museum to explore. It's not very big in my opinion but it has a wide variety of pieces for the size. There's definitely some art that would intrigue any visitor touring the site. Note that the museum is inside a brewery, so bring ID if you want to order any alcoholic beverages while you're visiting. The food here is great as well from everything myself and the members in my party tried. I got the dumpster fries with pulled chicken and it was very good.

So if you're looking for a proper museum-going experience then this is not the place for you. The Museum of Bad Art is located inside the Dorchester Brewing Company and is less of a gallery and more of various terrible pieces hung up around the entire floor of the taproom (which, in my opinion, makes it more unserious, funny, and therefore, better). I generally had a great time there looking around while getting drinks with my coworkers. The vibe is fun and vibrant. I think its a great place to check out as a conversation starter/casual activity while getting food and drinks.

This is an uproariously funny museum thanks to both the unique art collection and the excellent write-ups about each piece. We had a fabulous time. The museum was formerly in Somerville and is now in a brewery in south Boston. The food and people in the brewery were great also.

I loved it. There's like 2 and 1/2 bars in there? I think the point is to get you numb enough to enjoy the bad art? Have you ever known someone who liked really cheesy horror movies? Or just movies that were so bad they were kinda funny? Well that's how this museum is. The descriptions are really what makes it; they're so funny. This photo was just 1 of my favs!

Inside the Dorchester Brewing Company. It was very interesting seeing the artwork hanging around, even upstairs leading to the rooftop seating. It's free to go in and look. After your done, you can get something to eat at M&M BBQ right inside the place. Or grab a beer, right from the Dorchester Brewing Company bar. I did both. I'm not a beer drinking girl, but the Bartender helped me by offering a fruity beer. He gave me a sample, and it was very good. So I made it a slushy by adding the lemonade they had in the slush machine to the fruity beer. I was impressed!

Bantam is tucked into a warehouse on a back road behind a Target. Once you step inside though, you're greeted by the brewery classic high ceilings and open space with hard wood standing height tables. The bar has over half a dozen ciders on tap, and you can get single pours for $6.50 or flights of 5 tastes for $12. They give you the flights one sample at a time, so you have a second to try each one before getting the next. Due mostly to its location, it's not a crowded spot. There's plenty of space and a really good atmosphere. Bantam appears to be one of Somerville's better-kept secrets.

Great atmosphere, the ciders were amazing and the variety of flavors is great! Super chill place, good music and has a homely vibe. Prices are super convenient and if you order a flight, you can try up to 5 different kinds of cider! I loved the americain and soul power 😍, the Turkish has an interesting flavor as well! Super recommended for a nice evening with your friends!

Spectacular, just spectacular. Our group of 10 was welcomed immediately and we had the best bartender Alyssa. Her and Mr. Beard were awesome in explaining all the ciders and how they are made. All the while never keeping our glasses empty. The ciders are all very different and excellent in their own ways depending on what you like. Our group is still talking about this place as one of the highlights of our trip

This place is awesome. Their cider is out of the world, they have a bunch of different types and they're all great. They have some really unique flavors and you wouldn't ever guess a cider could taste like they do (I mean that in the best of ways) - they get incredible flavors. Even people who don't typically like ciders will for sure find a few they will like. I'd also recommend visiting their taproom for a flight, they have a cool spot and set up.

Terrific cidery! I’ve been here twice, and both times it was delightful. I did a tasting both times with different offerings that they had that seemed to be VERY local (read: you couldn’t get it anywhere but their taproom!) and have always been so impressed by the quality of their cider. The service here is also pretty great! The bartenders are definitely experts in cider and know exactly what to suggest if you describe the flavors that you like. They’re quick with service, but not pushy which I appreciated. Tips: There are no chairs really, so be prepared to stand. Also, you can bring your own food in but it’s more of a snack place - definitely not the place I’d order a pizza to.

I first heard of their ciders a little over 6 months ago and I was immediately hooked on their flagship cider Wunderkind. I never had a cider like that in my life before and I felt like I was definitely missing out! Then I found out that they were opening a tasting room less than 10 minute walk from where I live shortly after. Fast forward it to a few months after my first encounter of their ciders, I now have been to their location more than a few times and I enjoy their tasting room for the selection and how personable the place is. Also their staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining what the each cider is like. Another thing that I can not forget to mention is that the ladies who own the place are just so awesome, they are willing to take their time to make sure that everyone that is visiting their tasting room is taken care of at all times. They are very friendly as well. For a limited time, if you get a flight of ciders, you also get to keep your awesome glass (which you can bring back to use at later times to get discounted price on full pours). All in all, Bantam Cider is just pure awesomeness. I love this place so much!

Our friend presented her one woman show there ...great choices Definitely would travel up to Davis Square again,especially with free parking on Sunday. They want almost daily shows...can see it happening.

Tiny underground theater with fun and original shows - great for an intimate black-box with a small audience.

This theater is tiny, but I actually really appreciated the intimate atmosphere. My spouse and I drove 12 hours to see The Penumbra Podcast: Live and we were beyond excited to sit so close to the actors. It made the entire thing so much more special somehow. Also, shout out to the entire Rockwell staff; y'all were so polite and helpful.

Good stretch of park by the river,has cycling and jogging path. Plenty benches to relax and set up picnic in the area. It can be loud on the opposite side to the river due to continuous traffic.

One of my favorite places to go for walks it’s so nice and quiet and theirs a lot of diversity in the trees which is one of my favorite things about this place so if you’re into that this is the place!

A perfect spot to catch the sunset. It's easily accessible, no tall buildings nearby to block the view. Get to a clearing and you'll be rewarded with spectacular views. There's even a watch tower but definitely not necessary. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the summer but it's great right now in April.

Beautiful trails along the Mystic River. Of course, it's still loud (car noise) but at least the views are great. We saw two hawks up close, and one had his lunch that it had just caught. That was a cool moment.

I love coming here. It’s a great place for a walk, for a run or even to bike. There’s a rowing team that lets you learn how row in the river. Usually every time I am there, there’s plenty parking available. Just remember that the park closes at dusk, before that, it’s a great place a workout or just some time alone near the water (don’t swim though).

The path is wide , hilly, and flat. The doggys can play in open grassy areas, and the views at the waterfront are great!

I was impressed. A big green clean park. A lot of bike trails, walking trails near the river. Green cut grass. Even an interactive vertical xelophone for the kids.

Nice place to walk your dog, walking path connects as far as Wegmans and Assembly Row on the other side. Best place to park to access the paths.

I was here for a high school cross country meet. A large area, for this event parking was tight, but wouldn't think it would be a problem otherwise. I was only in an area where the race was being held, but there are a lot of walkways some along the Mystic River.

Great parks and even greater views - this place makes for a perfect outing. They also have ducks and swans!

Clip Art IPA with Mosaic and Cashmere felt like an IPA with a warm hug - texturely rich and warm as opposed to bright citrus, and slightly "spicy". The back alley was lively, if you can't find a seat indoors but don't mind standing around in nice weather then it's a great choice.

One of the best breweries in Boston with the coolest vibe. The beers are super fresh and they have such a great variety between IPAs, lagers, porters & sours. Super friendly bartenders and a beautiful, spacious patio which is perfect for the warmer months. Plus they have great coffee!

Coffee AND a brewery?! What could be better? Both were excellent, as was the service. We enjoyed a chat with the brewer and learned a lot about the space. Definitely worth a visit!

A small joint that is close to places that serves food and has a diverse selection of beers on tap. I’ve been here 3-4 times now and it’s been wonderful just about every single time. I think as far as high quality beer in a chill setting that also sometimes has live music outside you can’t really go wrong here. If they filled growlers it would be 5 stars for me. I’ll probably be back

Remnant has turned into a daycare center, children screaming every 30 seconds while paying adults are trying to enjoy their beers. Beer is good but can’t be enjoyed with children running around and screaming in your ear. Witnessed several paying customers have to stand while children that did not buy anything took up chairs.

The beer is always fresh and creative with a rotating collection of IPAs, pale ales, dark beers, and occasional sours for all sorts of palates. Given that it's in Bow Market, it's great that you can buy food from any of the spots and bring it into the brewery to make the meal of your choosing. Plus, that patio out by the second bar is killer when the weather is right.

They opened in May of 2018. I was the first person to seat on one of the bar stools. they have a delicious beer and very friendly staff. There is outside sitting which is just wonderful considering the fact that it is hidden away spot on Bow Street. Beautiful brand new Brewery. Must come visit in the Somerville area.

We've been patrons of Remnant since shortly after they (and Bow Market) opened in 2018. Over that time, they've consistently offered a great rotating selection of tasty beers brewed in house, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere both indoors and on the back patio. They also offer good espresso and various other nonalcoholic beverages (like kombucha and teas). For food, there are plenty of options around Bow to order and carry in.

Snagged a table at Remnant Brewing after sitting outside at a fire pit at Bow Market. Cool vibes inside, and I appreciate the variety of beers even though I didn't love the options I tried. Would try Remnant again if I were in the area on my next Boston visit.

Cool vibe, very good beer. The sour is really nice! I recommend the combination of taking pizza from Hot Box and sitting in Remant patio with beer, super fun!

Friendly tap room with great locally brewed craft beer. Interesting varieties and really nice use of yeast and hops to make well-made ales. Outdoor seating with a food court outside. Worth the visit to Union Square in Somerville!

Great brewery with a fairly small selection on tap, but always a well curated one. The space at Bow Market isn’t huge but there’s usually a spot open. The bartenders are very friendly and kind. They don’t serve food but you can order food from any place literally steps away and eat it there. The trivia on Monday nights is really fun and well thought out!

Just such a calming atmosphere and pleasant people.

A very, very interesting space! I'll definitely visit this place again. I didn't know it was here. Love the way the space is used, it's a single room but the way the exhibit is displayed takes advantage of the open concept with large signage boards. Good for about half an hour of your time and if you want to stumble upon more knowledge of Somerville you didn't know

Small museum, but intimate setting which never fails to offer engrossing programming -- whether it's an exhibit, speaker talk, panel discussion or community event. Highly recommend becoming a member to stay current as well as support a local treasure!

A small gallery space- saw everything in under an hour. Lovely museum staff and powerful exhibit. The Triple Decker Ecology exhibit is a great mix of art, info, and historical artifacts.

Went there for a visual/acoustic event. It was a very visually busy place. For someone with attention issues, I was incapable of keeping my eyes still- they would constantly rove around because there are so much to see.

Absolutely one of a kind. It is like nothing else I have ever seen. Simply stunning to walk into art that surrounds you and moves you while listening to classical music performed by Francesco Cipoletta.
