Finally! I didn't have to be stuck in traffic in the summer to visit! I walked the Marginal Way trail from Stearns Rd, which isn't very far. Enjoyable short walk around the Cove and across the bridge. Nice views of the ocean 🌊 and the fishing 🎣 vessels. I'm not certain how much parking 🅿️ is, but, space is limited and there is a parking 🅿️ meter to pay. Public restrooms available. Restaurants and shoppes to check out. I only visited a cafe since my time was limited. Go off season, end 🔚 of April, to avoid the crowds and go early.

Perkins Cove is a charming place to come shop for beautiful give, delicious food and nice people to talk to. They have a bridge the goes to the other side of a neighborhood, they will honk the horn from the boat coming in and whoever was on the draw bridge must open the bridge to let the boat cone through. It was beautiful to see the as well. We are visiting from Oregon, and been to Perkins Cove quite a few years ago and just love it here in Ogunquit, Maine. I bought a beautiful ring and earrings from Out of the Blue, Husband bought clam chowder just a place to get lovely items in the stores.

Incredible street. Definitely worth visiting then hitting the food and walking the Marginal Way.

Google Maps takes you to a private resort with no public access to the beach. You are going to have better success reaching the beach 🏖️ using Ogunquit Public Beach. If you walk from the public access, you might be able to get close to the spot where Google Maps says the beach is. Ogunquit Beach is great 👍! It connects to Footbridge Beach, which is also a great beach ⛱️. The tide 🌊 can be very high and space can disappear. Even on a warm day in February, there was a good crowd there. I like to visit even though the parking 🅿️ is expensive 🫰.

Absolutely gorgeous. Great for kids since there is a bay side that is shallow without the waves. Very soft white sand. Really clean. Parking is hard though so walking or the trolley is best.

Great super long beach! Water is cold (duh!), but everything else is topnotch. Parking right next to with public restrooms. Great place to visit in January/February, too!

Beautiful beach, quiet, and amazing place to visit.

Visited the beach & Marginal Way on Sunday 2pm just before Memorial Day. Very crowded. I learnt through reviews to park at police station 20 Cottage road but it’s a small carpark and so full. We drove around and all carparks near Marginal Way were full. We found a big carpark next to Ogunquit Beach. It still has some parking available. Fee is $7 per hour. The restroom is there too.

Best beach out there. Beautiful, clear water. Plenty of parking, restrooms, a few shops and places to eat as well.

I’ve visited in both the Summer and Fall and loved it on both occasions. It’s dog friendly after September 9 and my dog loved the beach!

This beach is humongous! Even on the hottest beach day, there’s plenty of room! The sand is great and the beach is clean. The adjacent Ogunquit River also has a beach. Limited public parking on site. Best beach on the coast.

The beach is beautiful. Surfers and a walk around the waterfront that will take your breath away.

I love this beach in the winter as much as the summer! Huge area when tide is low. Not much space for beaching when high tide. Amazing for walking. Lots of parking. Public bathrooms too! Close to center of town. Lots of shops around.

Amazing beach. We travel a lot and we compare this one to Mayflower Beach in Cape Cod. Of course, water is cold so ocean water activities are limited, but this is Maine, so not subtracting one star for that. Absolutely bring inflatable for kids or teens to go up and down the river. When tide is going in, the river water is flowing in and kids can ride all the way from mouth of the river at ocean, under bridge, to sand flats, get out in right, then walk through parking lots back. When tide is going our, the flow reverses and they can ride back from last the bridge into the ocean. It’s a lot of fun for them! The beach is HUGE when tide is out. Almost too large haha looooong walk to the ocean, but gorgeous! Be there by 9 AM to find parking. We were on a cool not hot day, Saturday, partly clouded, but Labor Day weekend and we took one of the last 5 remaining spots at 9:20 AM. Beach is wonderful. Bring inflatables for the River. Subtracting one star as it is not possible to get out on main road after you are done with the beach. There are multiple converging roads and no street light. Traffic is at stand still and some have stop sight and others don’t, however, people ignore stop sign because otherwise they will never get out, and that intersection looks like the worst one I have ever seen with all cars in the middle of it congested driving in different directions.

Ogunquit Beach is an absolute gem by the sea. With its pristine sandy shores and crystal-clear waters, it offers a breathtaking coastal experience. Great show!! Excellent performance. I will definitely buy tickets earlier next time, though, to get lower seats with a less obstructed view. We were up in row W, and could not see the floor of the stage. The performers moved around enough to catch some of the performance, but it did involve a little bit of "bobbing and weaving".

I visited inside the tent that is set up outside for performances. It was huge and looked sturdy. Two bars were set up to serve 🍷🍻 drinks and snacks. A gift shop was inside. Parking 🅿️ lot was set up for vehicles going south ⬇️ or north ⬆️. I attended a performance of "Young Frankenstein" with Sally "Gloria Stivic" Struthures. I would grade it an A. The stage was huge with a very loud 🔊 sound system. They have a good lighting system. Bring your facemask, seat cushion and a debit/credit 💳 card for the bars. No cash allowed for payment. Bring a blanket in the fall. It can get chilly. I recommend a visit!

What a great venue! It’s so small that every seat is a good one. I’m a born and raised New Yorker and this honestly felt just like a Broadway show — the production of “Beautiful” had an amazing set, music, and dancing. This truly blew my expectations out of the water and I would love to see another show here. Keep in mind that leaving is a pain (you park in organized rows and can’t leave until everyone in front of you does) but it was fine. Bathrooms are in a separate building (fancy portapotties). Overall, feels like a piece of Broadway in Maine!

I went to see Beautiful while staying in Wells. A good show considering it's a live theater in the middle of nowhere. This show was low budget and would have produced more realistic characters if the actors would have played the instruments instead of faking it. The parking setup is unusual but efficient. There are two additional bars outside with portable restrooms. The seats are okay but not the most comfortable I've had at a live theater show. However, it is a small town so overall an enjoyable evening of entertainment.

WOW 🤩 This is a MUST-DO!!! If you are in the area, don’t miss out. We even brought our 3 daughters and they LOVED it!! The performance was SO good😍 The service was great, get there early and grab some snacks and drinks!

My boyfriend and I attended Mystic Pizza. This was by far one of the most impressive musicals - the way the cast and staff were able to incorporate such great songs into the movie, on stage. The staff at the theatre was amazing - they were accommodative and welcoming in every way. They walked us to our seats in the front row of the huge, covered, outdoor amphitheater. The place is so great, we'll be back again for Young Frankenstein in just a couple weeks. Thank you for the Hospitality.

Another night to remember at the Ogunquit Playhouse! We highly recommend this theater. We have seen various musicals and plays here and it's always a fantastic experience. "On Your Feet" was a special production with lively dancing and music; it was incredible to learn about the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan. We didn't want the show to end and we were all on our feet and dancing by the end of the show. We appreciate the onsite parking at the theater, the amazing staff team, the brilliant & modern stage sets, the sponsors, the good A.C., and the concessions and popcorn. Well I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard about the play house and driven by it many times over the years. Finally friends had decided that tickets would be bought and our group of 7 would go. It was fantastic. Loved,loved the performance of "KINKY BOOTS". This musical was absolutely amazingly fantastic. You were just swept up into the great singing ,the vocal performances excellent, just excellent. The message in the story line so true. At times your on the verge of crying and then you laughing and then your amazed. I highly recommend this show. I've been to a few plays over the years and believe me their are many that were very good but once was enough and some I wish I had not gone to ,but this performance of KINKY BOOTS I would go and see again,and again, and again . I highly recommend see it if you can . Pictures below.

We have enjoyed numerous shows at the Ogunquit Playhouse. They showcase great talent! The staff is helpful and friendly. The seats are comfortable and have a good view. The restroom was clean, but there's always a line. People in general were friendly and play was good. The only issue is when someone tall sits in front of you, not able to see over them, and there's not enough of a slant to make a difference when someone bigger sits in front of you. The parking can be an issue if you're impatient because you're packed in a line, all going one way and you can't move till the people in front or around you move.

Absolutely LOVE attending shows here. Highlight of my yearly visit. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly. Attended Carole King's Beautiful. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! LOVED IT!!! You'll shed a tear or two!!

The outdoor sculpture garden was the highlight for us. The museum is situated next to the water, it's a very picturesque location.

Beautiful works of art. Nice mix of traditional and modern. Not too many kids come to this museum, but when they do, the staff treats them like royalty. The landscaping around the museum is a work of art itself. And as a bonus, the museum is set in a spectacular setting by the cove which used to be an artist colony.

Absolute gem of an art museum, featuring local artists and a beautiful garden/grounds. Bonus points for the amazing ocean view from the lobby, and for the walkout to see the other side of Perkins Cove!

I like visiting art museums so when I was in the area, I decided to check this one out. It's not all that large, but there were some intriguing art pieces inside the museum, but it's the sculpture garden that really caught my interest. I'd definitely recommend a stop in if you're nearby as the stroll through the garden to see the sculptures and since it's situated right by the ocean, well the view just might encourage the artist in you.

A gem of an American art museum. A small but impressive collection of some fine paintings and the most beautiful location perched above the rocks and Atlantic Ocean. My mom took us there as kids and I can’t be in the area without stopping in to see what’s on display.

A bright spot on a gloomy day! Small but impressive, with art from both the past and current century. The docents were incredibly knowledgeable about both art and local history. The garden and view are wonderful.

This is a real gem of a museum. I'm a great fan of Maine art. This has many treasures and a fascinating history and puts on wonderful Summer exhibits. Make it a point to visit yearly.

Very nice place for afternoon lunch, reception, or event. Even if you're not a huge art enthusiasts, the front and rear yard gardens make a stop here worthwhile. Perfect place for a an evening jazz fundraising soiree

Not sure why I have never visited this art museum before. Such a great place to spend some time and rest in this crazy world we live in currently. Inside you will find some amazing artwork, much of it local in nature. Outside makes for a beautiful exploration which includes some spectacular ocean views. This museum proves, you don't have to be huge to be special or worth a visit.

Location and value! Rooms are updated and very clean. Walking distance to a beautiful family friendly beach saved us $25/day in parking fees. This end of the beach is less crowded too. Several outdoor spaces with ample comfortable seating plus grills and picnic tables. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Even though it’s on the road traffic noise wasn’t an issue for sleeping. Beds are comfortable and rooms have extra towels, fridge and microwave. Nothing to complain about here and I’ve already recommended it to friends.

We loved our second visit to The Footbridge Motel. This time we brought our puppy, Mary and had an amazing time. The room was great and the owners so accommodating. The pool area feels like a spa, so relaxing. We will be back!

The room had a good sized fridge with a separate freezer and was nicely decorated. The owners were friendly. The pool was clean and the pool area has beautiful flowers and beachy garden decor. The outdoor furniture is very nice. You can walk to the beach and a few restaurants. We brought our dog.. There was enough space in the room to set up a crate for him. We would stay here again.

Scott and Mark’s Footbridge Beach Motel and Cottage is such a quintessential gem in Ogunquit, Maine! The room was very cozy, spacious and super clean. The location is in walking distance to lots of good restaurants, shops, beach and more! Scott and Mark are so welcoming and accommodating. We had a late arrival and they made it easy for us to check into our room. It was our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back to stay here again! I would highly recommend if your planning a trip to Ogunquit. Definitely book with Scott and Mark, you won’t regret it, such great people and very professional. We discovered Footbridge motel last year. We will NEVER stay at another place in Maine! The rooms are perfect, the owners....well I'd love to take them home...this motel is more like a resort. Looking Forward to our return! And...if you love your dogs....stay here!

Always the perfect getaway. The weather, thankfully, was perfect for the last weekend in July. The pool, staff, location and accommodations cannot be beat! The hosts Mark and Scott are great, easy to talk to and super helpful. The pool is so amazing, clean, and relaxing. The footbridge beach is a short walk from the room and no need to pay to park. We look forward to staying there licated next to some delicious foodie spots, all within walking distance. Cheers and we'll be back next summer!

I loved it here. Coming from Nee Jersey we know beach and this place was amazing. The beach was a short walk and the sand was like white powder. The owners are so nice and the rooms are like mini apartments. I felt so taken care of. We came for a family funeral and they made our stay so enjoyable given the circumstances. We had a wonderful time at The Footbridge Beach! It was such a nice place to bring our dog on the trip. The room was neat, clean and exactly what we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the proprietors were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it !

The Footbridge Beach Motel is a great find. The room had 2 comfortable doubles, microwave, and fridge. The bathroom looks brand new. There is a huge supply of towels available in the room. Everything is up to date and very clean. The location is great. The beach is a short walk down the street. The center of town is a mile down the Main Street. Once we parked our car at the motel we never took it out until we left. The owners check on you by text after your first night to see id they could assist us. It was a great place. I would strongly recommend this gem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Footbridge Motel. The accommodations, decor, and grounds were so homey and exceeded our expectations. We loved the area and will be back soon. Mark and Scott are excellent hosts.

Great stay-- wonderful balance of welcoming and attentive while making autonomy and privacy achievable! Super about dog friendly accommodation requests and kindly offered us dog towels in the rain. Room was spacious and our bed was quite comfortable. Will definitely return.

My wife and I have stayed here twice...both times in Room 10. Fantastic place, great location, friendly service, pet friendly...what else can I say? The Footbridge is maybe a 5 min walk from the beach...surrounded by at least 3 places that are a quick walk for food. No complaints. We can't wait to return. Thank you!

We stayed in room #12 at Footbridge Beach Motel for 2 nights in August. I need to preface my comments with this: I am "obsessed" with clean spaces, no bugs (I was worried this being a motel), quiet and good service/amenities. The Footbridge Beach Motel is one, if not the cleanest more serene place I've been at. Kudos to housekeeping, because I checked everywhere, and it was spotless. The room isn't the biggest, but it has everything you need and the bed is super comfortable (making it difficult to want to get up in the morning to do the 10 min. walk to the beach). The beach itself is nice. The owners are respond quickly, clear, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay in in the Ogunquit area.

We stayed in Room 18 on Aug 3-6, 2023. It was a bit of a last minute trip so accommodations were limited due to high season. The room was on the second floor, it was decorated with a costal vibe and had two full size beds, a small fridge/freezer which came in handy. Check in was great and informative. The grounds were beautiful, plants and flowers at every turn. Plenty of cozy places to sit and the pool area looked welcoming, but we opted for the beach. There is a well stocked coffee room that was a welcome addition. We would absolutely stay here again! Since the Footbridge Beach Lot fills up fast, my husband and I loaded up our truck with all our beach gear and cooler and he went down early, paid and parked and walked back (maybe 10 minute) and when we were ready we walked down and had all our belongings ready, right by the walking bridge.

What an amazing place to stay! We worked remotely and went to the beach. We booked for a week with our dogs. It was a truly great experience. We were in room 9 and it was cute and comfortable. It fit both crates. Marc and Scott were great hosts! They gave us great recommendations to eat and where run our dogs. We hardly used our car. walked into town, restaurants and to the beach. The beach was under 10 mins walk. We already recommended to our family & friends and would come back again! Marc + Scott, thank you for an amazing experience!

We stayed at Footbridge Beach Motel as we had a family event in the area. The room was spacious and clean with a great beach decor. The bed was very comfortable. There is a great fridge and microwave in the room. Outside the room is a nice table and 2 chairs. The motel has an ice machine, a Keurig machine and filtered water machine. We walked to the beach and came back to enjoy the fabulous pool. The landscaping all around the property is simply stunning. The location is convenient to everything! We will be back!

Words cannot express how much I loved my stay at the Footbridge Beach Motel!! The room was so comfortable and serene. We even brought our Pup along with us and she absolutely loved the stay! The owners are incredibly nice and were able to accommodate our later-than-normal check in time. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Some gorgeous and unique art in all mediums with reasonable prices. I went for the metal art and ended up bringing home the cutest metal cat. They even had a 6 foot giraffe that I would have loved to own. Beautiful glass boxes that are perfect for gifts along with ceramics, jewelry, gorgeous blow glass and so much more.

Was greeted by a guy who quickly turned us around and told us to go back outside with our coffee. He was rude and wouldn’t let me leave my coffee and walk around. They definitely lost my business. Buy directly from the artist’s instead of shopping here.

Inventory in place is always interesting however change over of items ages slowly. Have purchased many unique items over the past few years however interaction with staff is inconsistent. Will continue to visit both KPT and Ogunquitt seeking treasures for our homes.

This store has amazing work from many different artists. Just don't ask who they are!! I was planning to purchase a glass sculpture, and I asked who the artist was. Apparently, it is a huge faux pas to ask for any information about the art you are looking to buy! I was met with a sneer, and a look of disgust. "They are from Canada." He then abruptly turned and walked into the back room, muttering, "we never post our artists." Came back, let me know the name, and as I thanked him, I was met with a very terse "yeah." The takeaway here is that if you are wearing jeans and a hoodie on a rainy, cool day, don't go in here! If you don't actually look like you have the money to buy things here, I guess you must not. (Spoiler: I do. And it's really sketchy to not credit the artists). So now, instead of patronizing a small local business, I'm going directly to the artist. Thanks for the etiquette lesson... I guess? Edited following reply: how absolute DARE I use my phone to jot down the name of the artist that I was interested in learning more about!! Would a pad and paper been more acceptable to you? Also, you brought up the first rude employee... I decided to give her a pass, as she appeared to be working at the jewelry area, and might know more about that part of the store. But... I have literally gotten better service at a Walmart asking where the vaccuum cleaners are located. Since she didn't volunteer the information, I asked someone else. I hope the artists that sell their pieces in your store know about your reluctance to credit them for their work!

Such an amazing store. So many fascinating pieces to look at with a wide price range so there’s something for everyone. The women working were the sweetest and knew about each artist’s background. Worth taking the time to really explore all that they offer.

We stopped at the Memorial Library during our stay. The Librarians were very nice and informative. The library and its history are remarkable. They allowed us to sign out a couple of books to read during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting and chatting. It's a gem - and lovely that visitors are welcome to check out books. A beautiful little library with a very friendly and helpful librarian. For those on vacation, they have interesting books for sale. Worth a 15 minute stop.

First I really like libraries and second I REALLY dig this little Library. It's origin story, it's unique design and it's a great for the area. Which is also very historic and like rich trunk full of stories, that I have just barely discovered. I will return many times for a full review and more story-hunting.

We stopped by Ogunquit's Library during a short trip to southern Maine to study as my significant other and I are both in grad school. Though a bit small, there were adequate and comfortable areas to study. The library recently took on new management with excellent ideas to transform some of the more antiquated features and volumes of the library. We were shocked that the library does not feature a public computer, a vital tool for the growth of our children or for researching purposes for students and professionals alike. I highly recommend the library obtain at least two workstations for this purpose. Overall, the library was a great place to stop for a quick study break while traveling. The manager is extremely professional and courteous to patrons. I would definitely stop again on my next trip through Ogunquit.

Update your hours please. I drove here from a neighboring town on Sunday becuase you advertised that you were open. Very frustrated to get there and find a closed sign in the door and an even smaller Sunday tag taped to the sign to indicate you were closed Sundays as well. Thanks

Beautiful glass art works. The range of glassworks is quite extraordinary from table top pieces, to wall pieces to floor pieces. They also have nice jewelry pieces including designs with movement which is nice. Don’t bother going in unless you have a lot of disposable income.

If you are looking for unique high quality jewelry at a reasonable price, you must visit Panache. We love this place and drive from CT a few times a year to check out their inventory. New and interesting items each time we visit- never leave empty handed. The owners are excellent - extremely knowledgeable, helpful in finding the perfect item, stand behind their products and an overall pleasure to work with. This is a must visit gallery.

My artist sister introduced my husband and me to Panache several years ago when she lived in Maine. Since then, she has moved to SC so we don’t visit Maine as often as when she lived there. Despite living in Michigan, it is my “go to” place for unique pieces—both custom and existing pieces. If I need a new piece and we aren’t planning a trip to Maine, I call Doreen/Rhonda. They are accommodating and responsive—even FaceTiming so we can see pieces. In the past three months, I have purchased three beautiful pieces (1 custom and 2 existing) that way! Love this place!!!!!

Been to this store a few times. Went recently and got the same rude treatment as the last two times. They don’t like browsing and are very aggressive if you want to spend more than 5 minutes in the store. If you look at something for more than 2 minutes, the owner will try to make a “deal” for you to buy it before leaving. I wanted to think about. $3600 purchase over lunch with my wife but, when hearing that, the owner immediately went to the door to escort us out. Very disappointing. We were planning on coming back but after lunch but decided that we wouldn’t give these people our money. It’s a shame because we wanted to support one of the artists. I’m a business owner. If I treated my clients this way, I wouldn’t have a business. I won’t go back here again.

I know glass artists and have dealt with both galleries and the artists. These folks are the worst I've seen. Rude, nasty, snobby. Would not tell me the names of the artists who did the pieces, unless you bought the piece. What are they trying to hide? Overwhelmingly, artists will not undercut their galleries. To think I could get a name of a piece I like and go directly to the artist and get a better price, doesn't happen. My wife wanted to dispose of a piece of tissue and they told her no, we have no receptacle and that she should walk down the block. That, after the thought I might actually buy something. Total turnoff, with extreme attitude. Bypass this place and do yourself a favor, though the artwork is very nice. Not worth the nasty experience, especially when they stand to make a decent return if you buy something , and for what, I haven't a clue.

I can't say a negative thing about the place. The pieces were all unique, exquisite and certainly were worth the prices listed. A knowledgeable sales staff, and they took the time to give us information, prices and inquire as to the decor in which pieces would go.... and all without hovering, being pushy. I was just in the store 12/5 and witnessed a terrible display between the owner and a customer. The customer had purchased a BRAND NEW ITEM 3 days ago, she got home and it did it work, she had obviously called and spoken to the owner to let him know about the situation and he said he would replace with a display item. When she saw the display item, it was very dusty as it had been out for sometime and understandably she did not want it. The store clerk had to call the owner to verify this and the owner refused to give her a refund! This is a terrible practice! I understand being a small business but you need to stand behind your product! My family and I who were about to purchase several items walked out… honestly will never be back knowing he treats his customers so poorly.

The owner is literally the nicest person I've ever met. He is kind and welcoming. And his store is amazing and unique. Beautiful ornaments, snow globes , cardinals , jewelry , sugar skulls , Halloween stuff , bat stuff , witch stuff , Art , exc...

Disregard any of the negative reviews. This place is a wonderful shop, full of Christmas ornaments, a great selection for Halloween, and some other assorted antiques/jewelry. The owner, Rusty, is a pleasure to talk with. It's warm and inviting, and literally packed to the ceiling with Christmas. We've been in Ogunquit for 4 days, and have been there every day so far. On our way there today for a last stop to pick up some more holiday cheer, which we all need in this stormy climate of 2020.

My favorite place in Perkins Cove. If you love Christmas, you will love this shop. I want everything in there. The owner, Rusty, is very nice and welcoming. He also has beautiful antique jewelry and gifts.

My wife and I were excited to go to the Leavitt and have a delicious meal. They did not disappoint! Food was fantastic! Well seasoned and balanced. The cocktails were excellent as well. We were able to sit out front and enjoy the world going by. I highly recommend!

Enjoyed the entertaining show! Staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks had a different twist and were Divine. The first time I have been there and was not disappointed. Look forward to trying more food and beverage options the next time I go.

I took my Wife and 7 year old son to Agunquit for dinner and to walk around. Agunquit, ME is one of the best places on earth. It just so happens the Leavitt Theatre was showing a Star Wars marathon FREE ADMISSION. We ended getting a table and ordering lobster rolls and grilled cheese for the kid. This place is awesome. I could walk around that just looking at the art and movie posters hanging on the walls. There are very few places as cool as this that are still around. The staff was fantastic. My family loved it. I can’t wait to go back

I attended an event here this past weekend and thought both the venue and staff were phenomenal. They were helpful, kind, and the snack counter staff were always so friendly. I adored the fact they used actual butter, and I loved I could hop across the hall for an adult drink to go with it. The hot spiked cider was a whole experience! Despite the crowd, everything was always super clean, and the theater just had so much charm. MANY thanks to our hosts, you're the best! ❤️

we went for the first time by chance ,a band was bringing in their equipment so we struck up a conversation with them. Next thing I know I am walking in with them a guitar amp in my hands. the staff was excellent as was the theatre . Two bars one upstairs and one down stairs with a good selection and reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back.

I popped in to check out the Leavitt after catching a show at the Ogunquit Playhouse and the combination of the aesthetic vibe of the old school movie house with the quality of the drinks was enough to leave me very impressed. I asked on a whim if they could make me an Espresso Martini and they delivered me (to my surprise and delight) a beautifully crafted Espresso Martini complete with Boozy Whipped Cream Foam topping. Fantastic! Can't wait to go back.

On Thursday 8/10 We had gone to a so called taco restaurant that had a very long wait and I had asked the hostess who was very kind if there was any other place that might not be so busy and she recommended the Leavitt Theater. This was also a place that my son had looked up prior in regard to going and checking the place out because they have shows and movies. So we went there we sat outside at a table and we were greeted by someone we thought was a waiter, but it ended up being the owner, and he was extremely nice and very helpful. After he gave us advice and took our drink order we were greeted by a waiter. He was very very nice and helpful as well. Menu was small yet that is a good thing because it’s easier to choose. Food was delicious. It started raining and the owner and waiter immediately moved us under the archway. Would also like to compliment the counter woman. She was always smiling and gladly sold my son some candy. Great experience. Unique Restaurant/Bar/Comedy Club/Theater all rolled into one.

Historic silent movie theater of Ogunquit. OMG, the smash burger! Top five best burgers I've ever had, hmm, maybe top three. Phenomenal food, location, atmosphere, historical significance. A shout out to MAX - My wife, friends and I had a lovely evening. Thank you for putting in the work, the effort of maintaining such a unique experience. We'll be back in May!

My husband and I popped in just to check out the old theater our way out of Ogunquit last night and wound up staying to listen to a wonderful jazz trio while The Terror (Jack Nicholson's worst performance, ever, but also a movie we own) played in the background. It was a perfect end to a truly lovely day on our first visit to Maine.

We had an absolutely delightful experience! Wonderful diner and drinks while enjoying a Classic movie (Casablanca) at the beautiful Leavittt Theatre. The staff is very attentive, the food was very very good and a fantastic bar. Looking forward to this Friday’s show to close out our weeks vacation. Don’t overlook this little gem!

Great little theatre with a Bar/Cafe that had a nice food menu. They are opened late which is a big plus!

As far as dog parks go, this is the tops. Lots of parking along side the road. Usually, the most well-behaved and playful dogs. Pleasant and outgoing owners. Happy people with happy dogs will have a great time.

This dog park is excellent. It has plenty of trees and shade for the dogs to play. Water is accessible for dogs to drink and a kiddie pool for them to play in. Highly recommend.

All dogs and people were extremely friendly. Area was clean. Lots of shade, toys and seating areas. My girls had a blast today with their new found friends! We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful, small dog park. It's immaculately maintained and always has super nice, welcoming dogs and people. There are also trails around too that are great. We love going here!

Great dog park, its large with mulch. Some chairs and water for the dogs. There's a smaller section attached, maybe for smaller dogs. Lots of tennis balls available. Some parking.

We don't live in the area and visited the dog park to let our dog stretch her legs and burn off some energy after a few hours in the car. We found it to be very clean, spacious, and shady. It was separated into two sections - one general area, and one just for small dogs. Our dog is scared of big dogs and there were several, so we kept her in the small dog area but she was the only one. A very nice woman who had a large and a small dog both playing in the general area let her small dog into the small dog area so mine would have a playmate which we thought was very nice. We'd go back next time we pass through Ogunquit which is a few times a year.

Dave has been doing this as long as anyone and his lobsters are second to none. I drive Uber and Lyft and I had a passenger who wanted to pick up lobsters in town so we went to Beach Plum. Not only was the price right, but my rider said it was "the best lobster she has ever had". That pretty much says it all

Wife and I stopped in during our trip to the area from Kansas. The service was great, the conversation while our lobsters cooked was fun and the lobsters were excellent. Best place for lobsters in the area. This will be our go to anytime we are in the area!

The boss was surprised when I told them my name with an Asian face. Yes, I'm a Google Local Guide who gives credits and recommendations for good foods. Two delicious steamed big lobsters brought me and my wife both the good memory of Maine and the taste of East Coast. The simple but friendly service is what we experienced today. The business like this deserves success.

Amazing! Went on 4th of July so lobster 🦞 options were limited. Got 1 lb lobsters( the only available ones). They were supposed fresh, soft and delicious. They do not give garlic butter

Amazing service, helpful, and made you feel at home. Felt like a true seafood market and the lobster was tasty, not to mention the price point was one of the best you can get for fresh lobster (even compared to the grocery store)!

Just walk up and place an order and in about 15 minutes your clams and/or lobsters are ready! Fresh and delicious! Very good bargain!

The best lobster and clams at East Coast, only steam. The place is small, eat outside at a very peculiar patio, super clean. No restrooms. Costumer service was fantastic (by owners ) Excellent price.

Great cost, a fraction of what you'll pay at the local restaurants. Great quality, friendly staff, great location. Bare bones, just lobster and classic, get them live and cook yourself or have them cook them for a small additional fee, still far below the area restaurants.

This was an awesome multi-seller antique shop that for decades was a favorite stop whenever we visited Ogunquit. Alas, as we discovered in summer 2023, apparently it burned down in September 2022 and plans are to rebuild, but just host new general retail spaces, nothing vintage or similar to what was there. RIP Blacksmiths Mall, you will be missed!

Good place to stop for collectable shopping. This place has a nice selection of items to look at and possibly buy? The place is clean and well stocked. Why buy new when you can get better by buying vintage. Check it out.

They have something for everyone's taste! Huge place, tons of antiques and collectables at great prices. The staff is wonderful and they are very family oriented... something you dont see much anymore unfortunately. It is an absolute favorite place to go every time we are here in Ogunquit Maine.

Review Date 8-22-2019 Was a dedicated customer. Told they were open till 5pm. 4:41pm woman turning off lights told me to leave. Very Abrupt - very Rude!! She Was very unwelcoming. Scott.

I received pretty poor customer service here. I was snapped at for asking a pricing question and then laughed at by the staff shortly before I left the store. I couldn't recommend this place any less. However if you do find yourself here, it's as reasonably priced as could be expected.

This is a beautiful little museum, depicting modern day history of Ogunquit, and featuring changing art exhibits. The grounds are lovely. I would like to see some mention of the indigenous people who inhabited the area and named it, being so important to the heritage of the area. Glad I visited this little gem right in the center of town.

This could be a very interesting museum. However, the woman in charge is very rude! We asked if the museum was open and she said “what does the sign say outside the door.” What a welcome! We were two minutes from our motel room, but when we stayed a while and asked to use the restroom she accused us of stopping to use the restroom. The video two men were watching had a woman undressing clear to the nude! Not sure what has to do with the town history. I would not go back.

We went to this museum expecting to learn about the Indigenous people and history. Unfortunately the history here is really only anglo-saxon. That being said, it was a great little place to stop by. The host was kind and very knowledgeable. There are tons of reference books inside if you love history and are looking for some genealogy information as well. So long as you know what to expect, this is worth a visit.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We attended a wedding ceremony that was held in the public grass area and the museum curators were extremely rude and unhelpful. Word of caution, even after hours the two parking spaces available at the museum are off limits and they will stand over you like hawks till you move your vehicle, even if you have handicap tags. One of the curators is nice but the gray-haired woman will yell at you for anything. And don’t expect to ask to use the bathroom. At the ceremony we had some guest that needed to use the restroom and she offered a porta-potty at the end of the park trail. When we mentioned the porta-potty was gone she suggested we go walk across the parking lot, around the corner and ask the use the restroom at the police station. She returned to her phone call and ignored us the rest of the time. It’s such a shame because the location is such a beautiful place to hold a ceremony but the museum employees ruin the atmosphere and just add unnecessary stress to an already stressful day. They were even rude to the rental staff that was delivery the chairs. My recommendation would to look eleswhere before coming here unless you are looking for added drama on your wedding day.

A treasure trove of Ogunquit history well documented with displays in a historic restored house. A must visit!

It was incredible! As always! We loved the ghost tour, it has become a family tradition and we go every year!
