Had a great time at the African Safari wildlife Park! It really is a unique experience and you get to feed the animals right from your car! The price of admission is expensive! But you are paying for the up close experience that you do not get at a zoo. They also have a small walk through section with some additional animals and birds Your ticket is good for all day. So you can drive through the safari again if you like! However, I am taking off a star because I did not know this until at the end of the safari and I have dumped some of the animal feed so it would not go to waste! If this was more clear, I would have either bought additional food or saved some of it to go through again. It really is an amazing experience. Especially when the giraffe uses their tongue to grip the mulberry leaves. This is not something I will do often because of the cost, but may come again based on who I might be traveling with.

Awesome experience! 2yr old loved feeding the giraffes. Buy the special Mulberry leaves for $5 in giraffe area. The other animals were large and somewhat intimidating. Yet, they knew what to do. Just some of the long horns were scary. Touring the walking paths had so many opportunities to take pics ...pics w dinosaurs, pics w animals. With a snack bar and a store everything is fun. We bought food with quarters to feed the fish. We petted a snake during the live animal show. We rode a camel. $10pp Then the aviary Lots to do...our toddler loved it Until the tornado sirens..long story

Nice place, animals all seemed healthy and well cared for. The camel stole two cups from me 😆 and the zebras weren't impressed with anything we had to offer but that's no big deal. We had two cups of food and two cups of lettuce and it was sufficient but we definitely rationed it along the way.

OMG!!! Best spur of the moment stop ever!!! So much fun!!! Please do yourself a favor, stop here!! We laughed so hard and had so much fun!!! We will definitely be back the next time in the area! More fun for me than Cedar Point! Thank you for such a great experience!!

Suck a cool experience! Even our 5 months old had a great time. I highly recommend to any animal lover or parent. Our fear was that our car would be scratched but it was not. The employees here were so nice and helpful. Overall a great experience and a perfect family day!

The kids loved this experience! Ages 2 through 6 and they all really enjoyed the drive-thru portion. It was cold so we weren't able to see any animals outside. Can't wait to take them back!

A self-drive through park with dozens of types of animals roaming freely. You're given a large cup of animal feed at the beginning of the drive, then they wait for you to drive up. They'll come right to your windows to beg. Alpacas, deer, longhorns, even bison come up to beg. In fenced areas are antelope, zebras, giraffe. Also a walking tour of smaller animals, gift shop, etc. More feed can be purchased too. If you get surrounded and can't drive, wranglers on golf carts will disperse the herds. Overall a lot of fun and I would recommend it highly for all ages. And if you leave your windows open, they will stick their heads in for food. Fine for Alpacas and deer, not so much with longhorns and bison!

We had a wonderful time! The dinosaur exhibit was fun to look at as we followed the paths to see the live animals. After we walked through the park, then we drove through and fed the animals. They come right up to the car so you can feed them!

I have been here in the past. If you haven't been here in a while you need to check it out. My grandsons had a blast. Once you pay for admission you can drive through all day. The animals are all willing to greet you with their open mouths. You may want to bring an older car because you will get slobbered on. Many great picture opportunities. If you leave your windows open you will get big heads into your space so be prepared. They will get up close and personal. The walking part with live action dinosaurs is fantastic. Many real animals to see and interact with also. Who doesn't like a real pig race? Cheer on your favorite pig! So much to see and do you have to see it. Use Groupon to save some money 🤑!

This is a cool place. Make sure you financially prepare yourself for the sticker shock. Quite expensive, especially when they get paid to feed their animals. You have to pay to get in, then if you want to feed any animals, you have to buy their food and feed them. I should have thought about that when I was young. Smart.. all in all, my kid loved it and was happy, so I was happy.

I loved this place so much I drove through it a second time. The staff was amazing the park was very clean and all of the animals were amazing to see up close and personal. I definitely recommend getting the carrots to feed their beautiful bison. Be careful because they drollllll. Lol I look forward to my next trip out in this direction. Thanks to the staff for maintaining this park and keeping it a safe space for everyone to enjoy.

We loved this place. So many different animals to encounter. We almost had too many animals wanting to eat on the safari. 😂 My son's favorite parts were the camel ride and feeding the little birds. Everything was clean and well maintained. It's as awesome as I remember it from going as a kid.

The walk through park left a lot to be desired and there was no soap in the bathrooms the whole time we were there. However, the drive through safari was an awesome experience, but I would not recommend doing it with a new car their horns will probably scratch it a time or two

A very cool zoo, how many positive emotions I and my children had, such beautiful, cute and kind animals, which you can pet, feed with your own hands (food can be purchased at the cash register). Cute deer, big giraffes, beautiful zebras, serious antelopes, funny llamas, big and kind bison, as well as incredible parrots that you can hold in your hands, cute rabbits, respectable turtles. There is also a shop with nice souvenirs to remember, a cafe where you can eat delicious ice cream, toilets, playground, various dinosaur decorations. It's just great here, I recommend it)

Easy to navigate. Had no issues. Something the people selling tickets could change is how they word some things. I was told no round trip tickets for vehicles. I wanted to take a motorcycle. This was the first time I have ever used it and. Saw very few cars returning the day I went. I would have been able to take the bike if they had told me I could do a one way there and one way back just to be sure I was in line early enough if I wanted to make it for sure. I also saw the brand new boat while boarding

Fast and easy ride to the island. Everyone was so nice. The views of Lake Erie were wonderful. What a great start to a fun couple of days. HINTS: There is a lot of parking, but it keeps getting further and further from the ferry dock. You can drop off your luggage and peeps at the ferry and then go park. It is also a decent walk to the boat, so be ready. Biggest things, be patient, and have FUN!

My first time on the ferry was cool until we was coming back from Put in Bay and the ferry was rocking a little more harder than when we came over. Not sure if it was because of the wind or less cars on the bottom but I was scared. The way they load and unload the vehicles i was truly impressed. I was glad to experience this.. Other than that staff was nice I like it. The whole set up was nice. Very cool idea. I will try one more time.

The ferry ride to the island and back was the most pleasant part of the day for us. We had never been to the islands before and we weren't quite sure what to expect. We gained quite a bit of knowledge from our recon trip.👍👍😁

My family and I LOVE Miller Ferry. If you are going to Put-in-Bay, we highly recommend taking Miller Ferry. You can take your car (which can be super convenient) or just walk on and get a golf cart when you get off on the island. And the employees there are super friendly and helpful. I used to go to the island a lot for business, and I can tell you the best part of every meeting there, was the trip to the island on Miller Ferry. It's a great way to get to Put-in-Bay.

Such a great experience. Highly recommend using this Ferry system over to the island. You can either sit inside , or outside in the sun or shade. If your handicapped they allow you to stay on bottom level so you can enjoy the ride as well. They are true professionals loading and unloading cars.

Awesome ferry experience, with a short trip on a clean boat with nice Staff. The ferry is efficient, on time, and popular for travel to and from South Bass Island. A one way trip is approximately 20 minutes with spectacular views of passing watercraft. The free parking lots fill up fast for the late morning trips, and surrounding private lots are about $10 for the day. There were only two vehicles on our return trip and therefore plenty of room to move about and see Lake Erie.

Great experience with the Miller Ferry. Easy loading and on time departure! If it leaves at 9 am, you will miss the boat at 9:01. Smooth, safe ride. Plenty of golf carts on the island when you dock. Highly recommend!

Decided to take a day trip to Put In Bay so we used this ferry. Price wasn't bad for round trip for 2 people. Was $36 in total. Got over to the Island in under 20 minutes.

This was the first time me and the young one experienced a ferry. The Miller ferry set the bar high for us! The prices were great, we took our vehicle over to the island so we could bring all of our travel stuff with us. Loading and unloading was always quick and safe. We can’t wait to go again!

Many scheduled trips daily so you don't have to worry about missing a ride to the Islands. The ferry is punctual and the people are very nice. Clean restrooms and spectacular views if you do need to wait.

Wedding Review!: We held our wedding on the Jet Express in September, and it was the best decision we could have made. While this is obviously not a typical wedding venue, it was so unique that we were willing to throw caution to the wind and do something very non-traditional. We expected with that there would be many hurdles, and that was NOT the case at all. It was the best day ever, and that is in large part to the whole Jet Express staff that was so attentive and helpful throughout the process through to day-of. Our family and friends continue to talk about our wedding being the most unique and fun wedding they have ever attended! We just wish we could do it all over again (and again, and again)! Thank you to Chase and the whole Jet Express team for all of your hard work and great attitudes!

Very quick ride, regardless of the weather, take a sweatshirt or long sleeve for the ride back if you're going to sit in the open areas. Great experience to get to put-in-bay.

This is your ferry option if you want to be dropped downtown on the far side of the island. It's a longer ride than Miller but still pleasant with lots of comfortable outside seating. Most of the staff seem to be young, but there were no issues specifically arising from that. There's also a comfortable bar on the mainland side to hang out at while you wait, just as there's one on the island, so that helps while away the minutes.

Best way to get over to Put n Bay Tops speed is 44 mph Make sure you bring a brush

Great experience. The ticket sellers were friendly and efficient. The buildimg was nice and well kept. It was great to have the Musician there to keep us entertained while we waited for our boat ride. The crew were very friendly and helpful when boarding and unloading. The ride over to the island was the perfect speed. Very relaxing and scenic. Riding back at sunset was something great to witness. Since we don't own a boat, this was such an awesome way for my Family to experience the fun of Put-in-Bay, and not have the worry of anything else. Top notch all the way around

I got to say I've only been on a few boats this size but this was by far my favorite it was a wonderful ride it was a bit expensive but we all enjoyed it very much.

Perfect location from our condo, this is the best way to get onto Put In Bay. The route puts you on the north part of the island where everything is located. With the speed and where it takes you, the price is 100% worth it, especially if you're staying there.

Of your planning on traveling to put in bay island I would strongly recommend this form of travel! Very comfortable! Reasonably priced. And they also have a military discount.

Jet Express ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Transportation : Ferry Port Clinton, Ohio to Put-in-Bay, Ohio USA ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sylvia 3-star = average As of June 2021, everyone can ride and enjoy. Jet Express offers a 30minute passenger ride out to the island of Put-In-Bay. There are 3 decks: top outside, middle both in and outside and bottom inside. For those who are staying for a night or for the summer, there are luggage carts the crew uses to carry your bags on board. For mid-week trips, you can get a better price and add on a golf cart to get around. The hop-on-off tourist train also stops at the dock. You’ll need some way to get around, unless you’re staying right in the downtown area, which is where the Port Clinton ferry will drop you off. The ferry is a little pricier than the other from the mainland but it offers seats for everyone vs. standing room and bringing your car. Plan on paying for parking another $12/day; the entrance isn’t across the street it is on the far side from the building, plan on driving around the block if this is your first visit. The best thing about the ferry is even with a return time RSVP, you can change it if your plans keep you on the island longer. The ferry schedules run from 8:30am until 11pm or later. Nothing for purchase on board but you can drink dockside at Port Clinton. Bathrooms were clean on board and at each dock. Comfortable journey and courteous staff.

So much fun! I have not been on a boat for years. You could feel yourself bubble around, hear and feel the waves hit the side of the boat. Water all around and no land. The ride was only about 24 minutes and they were on time at the dock. The first level of the boat is completely wheelchair-accessible!

Great museum with lots to look at and lots of history! Worth the price for sure which was only $10 a person for military families. Facility is pet friendly which is great for those traveling with theirs! We got to see the B-25 fly on the air which is definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Lots of walking though so be prepared! The diner wasn’t open when we went due to short staffing. The staff was great and knowledgeable about t everything!

Very disappointed! We tried to visit on August 24, 2023. However, even though we drove through heavy rain to get to "blue sky" Port Clinton, the museum was closed due to inclement weather. While we were in Port Clinton we drove a little further and ate outdoors at a great restaurant with a great view of Lake Erie. I have included a picture from the restaurant view of the lake. Sorry about the on star, but it was very disappointing since we came from the Cleveland area and met friends from the Toledo area to spend a day together.

This place is incredibly rich in history and full of really cool airplanes and cars and specialty vehicles you wont find anywhere else. I've never seen historic planes and trucks in such perfect condition. The staff was really nice and informative. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon. And the gift shop is awesome. GO SEE IT!!

Possibly the best Aviation I've seen. The coolest thing about this place is the people who work and volunteer there. You can hear the pride as the docents work the guests. Another is that, as you look at the toys on display, know that they are (almost) all fully functional and excersized regularly.

Fantastic little aviation museum. Lots of restoration projects in progress. Great 1950’s historic diner ‘The Tin Goose’ was fun to eat at.

Not only interesting, but expertly displayed. We didn't just see planes and historical artifacts, they also have antique cars. There are volunteers throughout to answer questions. We also got to see a PT boat under restoration. They have a well stocked gift shop.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this Museum is and the quality and variety of their collection. Should not be missed.

Awesome place to experience! So much history...both static and "living". Excellent displays and information. The vehicles are amazing to see. The Diner on premises also is amazing! Great menu and food! My favorite place to go and visit, and be a part of!

We had a fantastic visit to the museum this weekend. The Pearl Harbor diorama was worth the visit by itself. We got to get an upclose look at PT 728 being refurbished. Make this a one tank trip, it's worth it.

We had a very good time and it was so informative! Find Todd...he is a great wealth of information and super helpful! Lots of history and presented very well. I loved the dioramas and seeing the planes up close. If I knew how cool the diner was, we wouldn't have eaten before going. Don't miss it!

The Liberty Aviation Museum is a non-profit aviation museum located in Port Clinton, Ohio, United States. The museum was founded in 1976 and is dedicated to preserving and displaying aircraft, vehicles, and artifacts related to aviation history. The museum's collection includes over 50 aircraft, including a 1928 Ford 5-AT Tri-motor, a 1943 B-25 Mitchell bomber, and a 1944 TBM Avenger torpedo bomber. The museum also has a collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, and boats.

Nice museum to visit. Great classic car collection, war memorabilia, miniature collection and lots of other odds and ends, not just aviation. Nice little restaurant inside but it is only open limited hours so if you want to stop in there check the hours. It's not just open when the museum is, even though it's attached. Two separate buildings to visit with lots to look at. A nice little place with a very reasonable admission.

My daughter and I absolutely loved the water park and safari! We had an amazing time feeding the animals, especially Macy the giraffe. The water park wasn't crowded at all, so we got to go on the slides as much as we wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative were the life guards. They were pretty rude and they seemed annoyed that we stayed until the water park closed. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you have young children.

I recently visited The Watering Hole and Waterpark, and they offered a good mix of fun for the family. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with the safari experience; feeding the animals was the highlight of her day. Additionally, the go-karts added an exciting touch to our visit. However, there were a couple of areas that could use improvement. The water in the waterpark was frigid, making it challenging to enjoy for extended periods. Furthermore, the snack and adult bars could benefit from a more comprehensive selection. Regardless, the overall experience was positive, and we'd consider returning. Recommended for families looking for diverse entertainment in one place!

Nice little area but personally think overpriced for not a lot to do.. Safari and the little zoo was nice.. Staff very uncaring..

So much to do that we couldn't get it all done and were there 5 hours! The safari ride is lame if you live in a farm and takes forever to get through bc they let kids feed them... Don't waste ur time unless u find goats and cows interesting lol. The rest of it was great tho!! Food is expensive and I found a deal for tickets on Groupon otherwise this would have been insanely expensive to take the FAM to!

Great time. Friendly staff. Lots of variety. Not spread out, walking from one thing to another was not bad. The safari was fun. They went out of their way to make sure kids had a good time. Get the Groupon deal and save a nice chunk of change.

Only thing open right now is the "zoo" and put put golf. For what it was I liked it. Felt more like a petting zoo lol but my 3 yr old loved it. The feed buckets were small but they actually had a lot in them. Staff was very nice. Thanks ladies!!

The waterpark wasn’t too bad, the pool had a lot of hair and grass in it, which was really gross but that was just one of the pools. My two-year-old and eight year-old had a really good time in the main water attraction. The staff isn’t inviting and definitely lacking professionalism and a customer service, in all honesty it does matter when it comes to customers experiences. They will check your bags upon entrance in absolutely no water is allowed to be in you have to drink from the dirty fountain or buy a bottle of water for three dollars. Because they are strict on this they jack all of their prices up at their concession stand, the portions are small and low polity. I was really disappointed in the variety and quality of the food and beverages, the lemonade was disgusting. My daughter wouldn’t even drink. It was so sour and just left a horrible taste in your mouth. They didn’t have some of the items on the menu available either. The go kart track and bumper boat path is pretty short too. The only reason I would go back is because the main play area had water low enough that it was safe for my two year old.

Very nice for any age! Water slides, a small pool (and swim up bar), lazy river, bumper boats, mini golf, go carts and a drive thru safari!! Buckets of food for the wagon ride and petting zoo are available, 1/$15, 2/$25 Groupon runs these tickets for the best price!

We were fortunate enough to schedule and experience the sloth encounter with 5 month old Fez. He’s absolutely cuddly adorable! Rachel, our zookeeper, was incredible! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and we could tell she truly cares about the animals. Thank you, Rachel, for a great experience!

1st time visitor! My family of 6 had a blast! The zoo animals were so cool to see up close, but we loved the huge go-kart track the most! Bumper boats and putt putt are always a good time too :)

We had a excellent time. Park clean and friendly staff. My only complaint is the food prices here are really pricey. I realize everyone needs to make money, but with the current prices, don't plan on feeding a family.

Water was absolutely Freezing. None of us wanted to get in. Went around on the lazy river twice and that was it. The best part about this park hands down is the petting zoo and the staff. Very friendly and informative.

So much to do! A petting zoo, a drive through safari, mini golf, bumper boats, arcade, go carts and water park (the water was really cold though, so glad it was a hot day)! Easily spent all day there with the Mega Pass. Plan to return.

A very nice little park area where you can look out onto Lake Erie, maybe go fishing, boating, or maybe just take a nice walk, like I did. The parking lot over there is quite big, so you could do laps around that alone! There are also picnic benches and a pavilion so you can bring your food over there. There's a playground, as well, so your kids can play over there. I've been coming up here to Catawba for many years now, as I have family up here, and I am staying up here as I write this. I recommend this park 100%. :)

It's a nice breezy spot on a harsh summer day. Mostly just a boat dock and a shelter with picnic tables. Couple interesting rocks to be found if that's your life's leisure space. Lots of dead fish. (Not sure what that says about fish quality or the water health of Lake Erie.) Of all the times and years I spent walking the California coastline, didn't see so many dead fish in one spot.

Boat ramp with plenty of free parking. There is a shelter for picnics. The shore is lined with stones and provides an excellent view of Lake Erie, but there is no swimming. The park has a modern restroom.

A small day use state park that is mostly used for launching boats. But there is a very large pier to fish off of and a pavilion that can be rented out. The pavilion is very large and could accommodate a large group. There is a rocky beach next to the pavilion. I don't believe you are allowed to swim... but it provides an excellent spot for walking along the water and taking pictures. There is a small playground close by and plenty of picnic tables located in the shade of the numerous trees. There is also a well maintained restroom close to the picnic tables. Although this is primarily a boat launch park, the playground and picnic tables will provide a nice break on a hot day. And finally, the parking area a very large to allow for many boat trailers to park in!

We had such fun, just driving around. Beautiful sights. Out of season, so no lines of cars.

My wife and I decided to go on a weekend getaway to the shores of Lake Erie and the first place we stopped was Catawba Island State Park. The sun was warm and a pleasant breeze danced with the gentle waves as it caressed the waters surface. We found ourselves mesmerized by the rolling waves as they splashed against the shore. We also found it interesting watching various sized boats as the skipped across the lake. All in all it has been a pleasant day.

Awesome boat launch and ample parking for vehicle / trailer combo. Plenty of space to stage b4 the launch and prep boat. Clean restrooms. Will visit again.

One of the most beautiful sunsets in my life🥰😍😌really nice area with picnic tables in the shade and across the road near the beach. There is also a little room for smaller fishing boats to come back and take off with a wide pier you can walk or sit admiring the view

Perfect places spend a day if you just want to get away from big crowds. Get away from a lot of people. Plenty picnic benches too. Sit at parking's easy. It's a good little getaway you looking for that?

If your in the area. It's a beautiful little stop. There a little beach with sand and water you can swim or fish. There a little peir to walk out on. Great for photos and relaxing. Or to eat a nice little packed lunch.

This was a very beautiful area to relax and enjoy a book or any relaxing activity you enjoy.

Very cute lighthouse. I almost missed it because in my minds eye I thought it was going to be a large lighthouse. Enjoyed my walk on the beach, reading the history and taking photos of the lighthouse and the Light-keepers

Although it was cold, it really beautiful! Would definitely come back in the summer time!

We have seen the little lighthouse in Port Clinton several times, but this was the first time it was open. It was neat to be able to see the glass at the top. There is a beach here and you can go into the water. A short walk over, and you can take pictures of the Lake Erie Love Sign or walk down the pier. Across the street from the beach area is a fantastic playground.

Super cute. There are tours from Memorial Day to Labor Day on Saturday’s I think, purchase advance tickets, per a sign on the lighthouse. It’s a stones throw from the parking lot so if you have wheelchairs, canes, it’s a nice quick, paved walk. There is also beach access. We giggled because we saw people in inner tubes, they looked really far out, they stood up and the water was half way to their knees. There are picnic tables and shade. 👍🏼 It’s a great place if there are lots of age groups in your party.

Nice little park if you're looking for a quick walk along the lake. Lighthouse I was anticipating something larger.

If you are ever in Port Clinton, Ohio, stop at the lighthouse and beach. Well kept park, clean beach and a great spot to walk. Trails are maintained and you can walk out to a point in Lake Erie. Watch the boats! Free parking, no admission charge. Just a short walk to downtown.

Beautiful Scenery!! Although it was very chilly the view was outstanding!! If you love the water so worth the trip! Charter boats was moving steadily. Plan to go back this summer can’t wait to fish!!

I love this place! My husband and I Eloped here on 07/01/22. It’s extremely clean and well kept. lots of places to sit and spread out. I love the dedicated benches. Its never to crowded and it honestly was the perfect little place for us to share our love in front of God and a few friends. You can see the Jet Express go in and out all day. If You want to tour the lighthouse its open on Saturday a few hours and admission is 3 dollars. Perfect to take the little ones because its not a lot of stairs. The boat keeper is the sweetest man and has original artwork for sale of the lighthouse. Dont miss this stop its worth it!

Absolutely beautiful view! We went when it was cold out but the beach looks like an awesome place to swim and the Lighthouse is an absolute must see. Hope to come back during tour times to learn a bit more about it.

Well.. first impressions are like the light house is little small or maybe i hoped it would be a big tower. Nice little park for a walk, beach access area and the bid watching trail inside it. I've visited during the early summer and the park wasn't crowded at all. I was actually surprised on it. The beach area was clean, nice and the benches close to the beach was a huge plus just to dry ourself. I just felt that the beach access area was small but that would be a big concern when the area is crowded. I'll recommend this place and will visit again.

This place easily deserves all 5 stars. Such an impressive visitors center with all the exhibits and information available. Spoke with the girls working the desk about making sure the hours get corrected on the Google page, it was reading closed, but they in fact open on Saturday from 9am - 2pm. I was able to get some more information about future trips to the area. The restroom facilities was nice and clean. Glad I didn't miss out on this even though it stated closed and I stopped to check.

Friendly helpful staff that will answer all your questions about what places are the best to visit in the area. Very clean inside around displays and well kept, clean public restrooms. Lake Erie Shores and Islands will have a current calendar of events in the area so you can know exactly what is happening. You can pick up a travel guide or brochures from any area attractions while inside, or order a travel guide from their website. The building and parking lot are handicap accessible and plenty of parking available right outside the building. Easy to find location that is right off a main road. Highly recommend stopping and checking it out!

I always stop here on my way to the Lake Erie area. Each year they publish a visitors guide the contains a discount coupon for area vendors and attractions. The staff of the Visitor Center are knowledgeable and friendly. Inside the center are clean restrooms, attractions, maps and activities for young and old. You won't regret stopping here!

A location with fishing boats (head boats for half-day trips most prominent), tackle for Lake Erie fishing, and bait. I went on a half-day walleye trip where the crew worked hard and most customers caught fish (I caught 2 keeper walleye). For a person making their first Lake Erie trip there could be more guidance on tackle to bring, although bait was provided. One of the boats on their web page was actually located 40 miles away, which may be self-evident to locals but could be clearer for out-of-towners.

Walked in said "it's my first time here. What's the scoop?" The worker told me everything I needed to know and more. He asked what boat I had and told me where safe spots to fish would be for the current conditions. Overall, very polite, knowledgeable, and caring staff.

this is a good boat to fish with the cost is not bad the crew work hard to keep you on the fish i have fished private charters and not done this good we had a great experience i highly recommend them.

Great tackle shop friendly service have what you need

My Dad and I have been going out on these head boats for a couple years and it is a pretty good time. We came out for fathers day weekend and they had a special on for fathers day, discounted price per person and free bait. The captain and mate we had were good and were working hard to net everyone's fish. We plan on coming back for years to come.

We came all the way from Austin Texas to try out Catawba Island Brew. Beer is best around. They have a strong following in central Texas because of the perfect Northern Ohio h2o used to brew. The staff are knowledgeable and nice.

Stopped in for a quick beer over the weekend, and had to give this place 5 stars just for the service alone. I wish I caught the bartender's name on Saturday evening, but she was so friendly and hospitable, even helped us try out some new styles that we've never had before. It was also great to find their pumpkin ale still available-I get sick of Christmas Ales very easily! Can't wait to stop by again in the summertime and have some fun.

Great spot to kick back and relax with some good company while having a drink. I have been coming here for years and never have had a bad experience. They are dog friendly too! Summer time is the best because they have a spacious outdoor space with a few yard games to play. They do have food trucks in the summer, and believe they allow food to be brought in.

Kudos to the staff on thier customer service. I had part of a six that had fermentation issues back in late 2020. This was my most recent trip back from Georgia to visit family in Sandusky. Long story short they made good on the bad batch and then some. Again much thanks to the staff on thier service efforts, see you'll next year.

This place is amazing! My wife and I got to experience it this evening as we were visiting on our anniversary. The atmosphere is beautiful, so well done and inviting! The food was so good! We ordered the nachos and the siren sounder burger and fries, very delicious! The beer was also good! Just a lovely place with well organized service. Very definitely want to come back and bring friends with us.

Awesome place! Came here to watch the eclipse and they did not disappoint. Every beer was excellent and the employees were all extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely be back to revisit my first eclipse!

The food & beer was excellent. My family got a pizza, perch tacos, and smash burger and there were no complaints. I got the fish tacos and it was one of the best that I've ever had! Not overly breaded and the fish was very flaky and flavorful. We loved being able to play a board game while we were waiting for our food (which didn't take long). The scenery was wonderful too and our two kids who were cooped up in a car for 2 hours liked being able to run around a bit before we headed to our hotel. We had to order and look at the menu through our phones, which was somewhat inconvenient but maybe that's just a new trend for restaurants that we just need to get used to. The food came out quick, even with this new method. Overall, we loved it!

This is a very beautiful and relaxing setting They put a lot of thought into the design of this place. Sampled one of their hard ciders was very pleased with it. Although we've just eaten elsewhere the food that was being served to everyone else around looked absolutely delicious. They also had live entertainment this day and the guy was very good. Will definitely be back.

This place is stunning!!! Easily the most beautiful brewery I’ve ever been to. The beer was great with quite the variety for all beer drinkers. I got the fellas to go here for early afternoon for a bachelor party. Service was great. Everyone loved their food. Would recommend getting the caprese for the table.

Superb beers and guest mead, every one of the 7 we tried. Excellent and beautifully landscaped patio. Well worth the visit. Saw a few bald eagles, pelicans, vultures and crows alongside a goldfinch pair and some crows.

Absolutely my favorite brewery. Beer is great, anything I’ve ever ordered is delicious, the buildings and grounds are amazing, I love the QR code food order system it’s super easy to use and all the people who gave it bad reviews clearly have issues using their phone. The outside beer serve yourself beer trailer is awesome, you just get as much or little as you want, it’s basically a do it yourself flight and then get a full one of the one you like.

Drove to the area from Philly and we will look for a local brewery to our vacation spot so we landed here. This is definitely worth a stop. The beers were all excellent though the cream ale had a bit too much berry so the cream was lost. The gose was outstanding. The food was delicious. We tried the shrimp, veggie tacos, and perch tacos (Lake Perch) and all of it was well done.

Twin Oast is a hidden gem for Northern Ohio breweries! Highly recommend stopping by in all seasons. Brews are consistently high quality and the atmosphere is relaxing and connected with surrounding landscape and orchards, farm land. Marblehead is so much better with a stop by Twin Oast!

Omg! What an awesome brewery with delicious food.. definitely lots of vegetarian options and loved everything about this place has to offer! I’d recommend it everyone passing by port Clinton to visit it.

We drove down from Michigan to view the Solar Eclipse. Twin Oast was a perfect location. They were very prepared for large crowds, have a fantastic venue with plenty of seating and multiple fire pits.

This place is amazing! The beer, the food, the ambiance and outside sitting areas. It’s worth the trip. The Yam ale & Shipwreck porter were our favorites. The pizza, fried pickles and Brussel sprouts were amazing. We’ll be back!

One of the most beautiful breweries I have ever been to. So many beautiful seating choices inside and out. Some even have gas fire pits. They do offer board and card games that can be played anywhere on the property. Lots of beer choices. I am not a beer lover but I really enjoyed the hard cider. I was slightly disappointed in the pizza but it was still great. I can't think of a better place to have any kind of Celebration or just to hang out with friends. There's also a music venue on site. If I lived around this area I would be here all the time.

This place is unbelievably gorgeous. I was in awe of the setting. Just beautiful. The food was very good as well. The only reason for 4 stars is that there did not appear to be any wait staff outside. We had to go get our drinks and food. A tad pricey for self service but the environment is just incredible!

This place has an awesome ambiance! It’s huge & view is nice. We went at dusk & it was packed, but a friendly table shared their space with us. Very nice staff as well who were helpful with ordering & freaky fast! Food was delicious too. We shared Bangers & Kraut & Buffalo Chicken Salad & a Charcuterie Board. We enjoyed hanging out & watching the crowd too.

First time at Lakeview Park. We were there for the Arts in the Park festival. Well maintained. Great play area for kids. Nice shade & great breeze coming off the lake. Seems like a good venue for events. 👍👍👍👍 👍

Decent park when it's not being used by tweakers or dirt bags sitting in their cars acting as lookouts for the absolutely overrun by drug addicts, dealers and drug tourist neighborhood. They put up a clean front but every single one of the residents that stays year round are heavy, heavy users. The place stinks 15 hours a day. Oh, and I wouldn't rent the Airbnbs for your families over the summer. They are used by traffickers all off season and are likely incredibly toxic. Definitely not suitable for kids. It's too bad. Would be great otherwise. The police won't be bothered. Hellish, but you know, so is everywhere Ohio.

The park is good. There is a playground for kids. It’s open from dawn till dusk. There are so many cute squirrels there. My kids love visiting this park.

Nice little walk up and down the shore. Some wild life to see. I found a snake while I was watching a gaggle of geese.

Nice park for Port Clinton. There is ample parking with a nice shelter house, basketball court, playground for the kids, and is located right across from the beach. There is also public restrooms and a shower to rinse off with. Usually gets pretty busy during nice days.

We went to the beach across the street, crossed the seaweed that hides a rocky surface, to the sand bar, and back again. The restrooms were clean, and the park offered an outdoor foot/body shower to rinse the residual sand off.

Nice, clean beach and view of Lake Erie. Can go pretty far out and have the water be no deeper than waist or chest high (depending on your age). Free parking available.

What a fantastic playground right on Lake Erie. Went and played with our granddaughter and the playground was very interactive and challenging. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent park with a great playground. The playground is new, has a safe turf ground covering, and interactive equipment. The park is also ADA compliant, with ample parking. A basketball court and even a few pavilions compliment the new playground. Great for young kids. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Sept, 3rd, 2018 - Lake Erie is wonderful to visit for a day, but I've been to better beaches. The beach at Lakeview Park is pretty clean, up to water edge. Entering the water is quite treacherous because of the many rocks, some very large, and some very sharp. A friend suffered a minor wound to his left foot from a sharp rock. Once beyond the rocks, there are 3 very shallow sand bars making swimming a chore. You must walk quite a distance out to enjoy a swim. I still always love Lake Erie, but wish local municipalities would maintain this beach by raking and removing the dangerous rocks. The food from the snack bar at Lake View Park was a 4 out of 10.....bring your own food. Regardless of my complaints, I will visit Lakeview again next year.

Very helpful. Very nice people. I have blue hair. Most older people around p.c. are very judgmental. The lady that runs the pace did not seem like that at all. She helped me with what I needed and welcomed me back.

The volunteer staff was very welcoming. They have a surprisingly large amount of historical items for being located in such a small building. Paintings, old boats, guns, swords, and more. This is a nice stop to learn about local history.

Everyone should take a little time to check out our new museum here in town.A very nice new building. Full of PortClinton &Lake Erie history. A must see!

For a small museum, it is filled with interesting items. It had a great selection of well written histories of the area.

Wow! A very unexpectedly detailed and designed museum with knowledgeable volunteers. Offers a informative history of the island with outstanding displays. Wish we had visited it sooner!

What a lovely place, in an old church, many artifacts laid out in a cohesive time line. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, if history of small communities interests you, this could be a fun stop. It's not very big, as it's a small community, but entertaining none the less.

A very excellent experience.....if you appreciate anything about history and want to share it with your kids or grandkids this is a place you do not want to miss....people need to understand the past to see the future....we think life is a challenge today go here and see what our forefathers endured...everone there are very cordial and willing to answer any questions you may have.....we are going to bring the rest of the grandchildren here on our next visit to Catawba

My daughter and I absolutely loved the water park and safari! We had an amazing time feeding the animals, especially Macy the giraffe. The water park wasn't crowded at all, so we got to go on the slides as much as we wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative were the life guards. They were pretty rude and they seemed annoyed that we stayed until the water park closed. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you have young children.

I recently visited The Watering Hole and Waterpark, and they offered a good mix of fun for the family. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with the safari experience; feeding the animals was the highlight of her day. Additionally, the go-karts added an exciting touch to our visit. However, there were a couple of areas that could use improvement. The water in the waterpark was frigid, making it challenging to enjoy for extended periods. Furthermore, the snack and adult bars could benefit from a more comprehensive selection. Regardless, the overall experience was positive, and we'd consider returning. Recommended for families looking for diverse entertainment in one place!

Nice little area but personally think overpriced for not a lot to do.. Safari and the little zoo was nice.. Staff very uncaring..

So much to do that we couldn't get it all done and were there 5 hours! The safari ride is lame if you live in a farm and takes forever to get through bc they let kids feed them... Don't waste ur time unless u find goats and cows interesting lol. The rest of it was great tho!! Food is expensive and I found a deal for tickets on Groupon otherwise this would have been insanely expensive to take the FAM to!

Great time. Friendly staff. Lots of variety. Not spread out, walking from one thing to another was not bad. The safari was fun. They went out of their way to make sure kids had a good time. Get the Groupon deal and save a nice chunk of change.

Only thing open right now is the "zoo" and put put golf. For what it was I liked it. Felt more like a petting zoo lol but my 3 yr old loved it. The feed buckets were small but they actually had a lot in them. Staff was very nice. Thanks ladies!!

The waterpark wasn’t too bad, the pool had a lot of hair and grass in it, which was really gross but that was just one of the pools. My two-year-old and eight year-old had a really good time in the main water attraction. The staff isn’t inviting and definitely lacking professionalism and a customer service, in all honesty it does matter when it comes to customers experiences. They will check your bags upon entrance in absolutely no water is allowed to be in you have to drink from the dirty fountain or buy a bottle of water for three dollars. Because they are strict on this they jack all of their prices up at their concession stand, the portions are small and low polity. I was really disappointed in the variety and quality of the food and beverages, the lemonade was disgusting. My daughter wouldn’t even drink. It was so sour and just left a horrible taste in your mouth. They didn’t have some of the items on the menu available either. The go kart track and bumper boat path is pretty short too. The only reason I would go back is because the main play area had water low enough that it was safe for my two year old.

Very nice for any age! Water slides, a small pool (and swim up bar), lazy river, bumper boats, mini golf, go carts and a drive thru safari!! Buckets of food for the wagon ride and petting zoo are available, 1/$15, 2/$25 Groupon runs these tickets for the best price!

We were fortunate enough to schedule and experience the sloth encounter with 5 month old Fez. He’s absolutely cuddly adorable! Rachel, our zookeeper, was incredible! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and we could tell she truly cares about the animals. Thank you, Rachel, for a great experience!

1st time visitor! My family of 6 had a blast! The zoo animals were so cool to see up close, but we loved the huge go-kart track the most! Bumper boats and putt putt are always a good time too :)

We had a excellent time. Park clean and friendly staff. My only complaint is the food prices here are really pricey. I realize everyone needs to make money, but with the current prices, don't plan on feeding a family.

Water was absolutely Freezing. None of us wanted to get in. Went around on the lazy river twice and that was it. The best part about this park hands down is the petting zoo and the staff. Very friendly and informative.

So much to do! A petting zoo, a drive through safari, mini golf, bumper boats, arcade, go carts and water park (the water was really cold though, so glad it was a hot day)! Easily spent all day there with the Mega Pass. Plan to return.
