Absolutely incredible and exquisite exhibits. Everything is laid out so well you can easily travel from one section to the next, with a smooth transition in-between. The cases are spaciously laid out as to not be overwhelming. This creates a good flowing atmosphere that keeps you moving and staring at the next item. There's a nice cafeteria that you can eat at, but hold on to your tickets. You'll need them to get back into the museum. The attendants are wonderful. The place is neat, tidy, and just fun. Definitely take your kids here, your wife, everyone will have something to look at here!

My family loved this walk through history. So much more than cars! We spent hours here and could have spent so much more. A must see if you ever make it to the Detroit area. Went on a Wednesday. It wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to enjoy it without feeling hampered by too many people.

This is a great place to visit! There is so much to do and see one day is certainly not enough. If you are in the area I would certainly recommend stopping by. If you want to see it all without any rush I would recommend at least 1.5 days (assuming you take one full day). Make sure to look into the membership if visiting more than one day! The museum is mostly wheelchair accessible and they also rent wheelchairs if needed.

The Henry Ford museum is definitely my favourite museum in Detroit. It displays a lot of history from the very beginning of motoring up to the present time. My favourite displays would be the United States presidents cars. Followed closely by the 1941 Allegheny Locomotive one of the largest steam powered Locomotives ever built. Very interesting to see also Henry Ford's kitchen bench engine, that's how it all started. There is so much to see in this museum not just cars. You can spend a whole day here enjoying yourself. I highly recommend a visit to this museum.

My visit to the museum was a great experience. The highlight for me was the impressive selection of cars, including those used by presidents. The exhibit showcased a diverse range of vehicles, adding a unique and fascinating dimension to the visit. The overall atmosphere and variety made it a memorable exploration into history culture.

I’ll definitely recommend to visit this museum in Detroit. It’s so huge and you can find here a lot of different things. History of United States. Progress of different directions such as railways, cars, planes, different manual productions. They also recommend factory tour and if you get museum and factory you’ll get discount. We didn’t have enough time and went through museum only. We got tickets in the spot and were not actually even planning to go there and it was Friday so I believe you can have tickets at the door any time. Enjoy and bring your kids there are a lot of interactive elements.

So much to do, so much to see. I spent about 3 hours here and still could go for many more. It's not just about Ford history itself but about the broader history of the world. A great variety of cars on display and other exhibits are worth the time and money to spend on it. I also took a short 30 minute free tour and it was great.

This was perhaps the best place that I've visited in a long time!! It was like a kid let loose in a candy shop. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The history behind every piece in that museum is insane, the lady at the front greeting once we entered the actual part of the museum was really really good. She gave a brief on what to expect and where. This place will take a full day to tour if you want to look and read everything. Maybe two. I would definitely visit this place again. Definitely recommended for every single age.

Incredible the history of Ford! It's a huge museum with lots to see. We didn't see everything as I think it would take a few days. The old locomotives were a highlight for me, as well as the cars. The presidential cars was very cool to see. I'm not a huge fan of racing but I have to admit it was very interesting yo learn about racers as athletes and seeing some powerful racing cars over the years. Another highlight was the mathematics, airplanes, and furnishings. The doll houses were incredibly beautiful and detailed. The Walt Disney costumes were also very cool to see up close. If you love fabric and costumes, I highly recommend to see the exhibit. It is only for a short while though. The food was good, some variety of sandwiches, snack food and entree meal. The ladies who work there were wonderful, very funny, and very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience and hope to go back to see what I missed!

You can easily spend the whole day here if you’re into museums. There are two nice cafes inside so you can take a break if you want. The exhibits are well maintained, but the entry fee was expensive compared to other places similar to this museum. If you want a tour of the factory, you will need to go there on a working day.

Not a car museum, but there are cars. This is an American History museum primarily... more Smithsonian-like. I have to say it's one of the best museums I've ever visited. It really is amazing what our forefathers were able to accomplish to build America. Highly recommended. Kid friendly!

Visitor from the UK wowed by this magnificent mueseum. Great variety of exhibits, but one of my favourite sections was the history of cars of all type . There was food and drink available at a couple of locations within the museum. Staff were very helpful, and all I all a memorable day buy, I will have to come back one day to catch up on anything I may have missed . Enjoy..

This was our first Holiday Night's at the Ford. It was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend it for anyone, but dress appropriately. The fireworks are shot off near the baseball field. It was a great time.

I shared a couple pictures of my highlights of this trip. It's a pretty nice place to visit. They are lacking some restaurants or places to get some real food. I visited here about 50 years ago when I was a kid and we went to a nice Italian restaurant and had spaghetti dinner. That appears to be missing in the museum now. Their displays are awesome with a lot of history of our area and Past Times. I recommend it!

This was a really awesome place to spend the day with the family. We loved looking around at all the cars, planes, and machinery this place has on display. So much to see and do while being here; especially when you get to the race cars. We all had so much fun; kids and adults alike. I recommend buying your tickets online in advance. It was quite easy to do and saved us time once we arrived at the museum. We will need to come back to see the rest of the things we didn't get to spend as much time with.

Kids had fun! We ran into a volunteer who was on break but very cheerful and conversational. It was cool to see the museum sections.... we were there for about 3 hours and only saw 2/3s of the exhibits (at kid speed). You could spend multiple days here. We got a tip to bring lunch, so didn't eat at any of the places there. Kids favorite things were the pit stop crew hands on activity, going inside the locomotive, and seeing the barnstormer planes. Adults found the JFK limo more significant than the littles.

So much to see in the museum. It will take you half a day to read through everything and walk through all the exhibit. Even a quick walk through needs about 3 hours. You learn so much on automotive, manufacturing, American history and culture, aerospace and Glass ! Love all the massive locomotive engines and massive power generator. They are just massive and beautiful. Train museum is usually outside but it was nice that Henry Ford manage to put these massive engines indoor It is a must go stop if you are in town

An excellent museum with interesting exhibits for everyone. Far from "just a car museum," it has exhibits focused on aviation, the industrial revolution, the civil rights movement, trains, and lots more. My only regret is that we only scheduled one day to visit the museum and the Greenfield Village, whereas two days would have been the minimum in retrospect.

Beautiful time had by all. Incredible collection allowing a walk through history. The staff had interesting information and stories to share about the period and life of those during that time. We have a membership. I would suggest a day for Henry Ford Museum and a day for Greenfield Village if you're not from this area. After that, you can choose if you need additional visits.

This is certainly the go-to museum in Detroit. It showcases American innovations and progress over the century, not just car-focused. You could spend at least 2 hours in the museum alone. There’s a rotating exhibit space that brings new things in to keep it fresh for returning visitors. There’s plenty to see and do, with sections on agriculture, furniture and housing, car racing, automobile production, aviation, locomotives, and more. The village portion of the grounds can add about 5 hours to your visit so come prepared!

There was also a really cute miniature car set displayed, and a place where you could play a car simulator! Spectacular! You need a full day to enjoy and bring your jacket after Oct 31st!! The train usually closes at the end of October, but the Model T drive around the village is worth the money. They also have a bus, that's a great way to hear about the village. They have a horse-drawn carriage as well!! The factory tour is fantastic, with limited photography options, but it is well worth it. The museum is vast, and if you live here, that year pass is the way to go! Visitors take advantage of the different passes according to ride availability. You almost can't get through the museum and village unless you plan for the whole day!! A must-see for sure!

You could literally spend days here. It’s so unique and one of a kind. I came here every weekend as a kid in the 80s and it’s fascinating to see what is still here and what has changed. Even if you could care less about cars or trains or planes this place positions them in a way that integrates them into the progression of life in America and the impact that cars (good and bad) and the social and historical context surrounding that impact. I took my teenagers and thought they would be begging to leave but I had to drag them out at closing time. Just go.

This was the first time my 4 year old son was at the Ford Museum. He loves anything trains and they have the biggest ones in the world. Not my words but my sons. We also went because there was a Paw Patrol exhibit that he is very into at the moment. He had a great time exploring the activities within the area. I would say he enjoyed the time, but some of the stuff he was too young to know why it was there or the history about it.

Went to The Henry Ford Museum with my girlfriend recently. This museum is awesome! We walked through the displays for hours and enjoyed traveling back in time to see history in person. It was a fascinating visit and the exhibits are user friendly and interactive in many cases. We want to come back again and also visit Greenfield Village when it opens up in the spring! Did not expect an all round museum here! I thought it was a Ford cars showcase but here is a full innovative museum containing not just fancy cars but the history and evolution of automobile! The presidential cars is surely a highlight here, but there are more to explore! Price is 30 dollars per adult and 9 for parking. Be aware the google navigation is not the most accurate location for the ticket office and entrance. Go straight to the clock tower!

What a great museum. This is my second visit. I was able to bring my wife this trip (she’s a huge history buff). This museum has something for everyone. I’m a pilot and I collect cars so I’m obviously attracted to the car and airplane collection! Only downside was the village being closed. Guess we need to make another trip!

Great experience! It's a Ford museum, but not just about Ford. Cool display of historic cars including some rare ones. So many things to see and time just flies by when in there. Would highly recommend!

Love the museum, have been a member for years! I particularly love the new racing exhibit with the racing simulators! Today we were there looking at it as a possible wedding venue, and I have to say the staff is absolutely top notch. Easy to work with, prompt with excellent follow up! The materials on there own were a little confusing but when they laid them out it was very easy to understand/ budget. Lovett hall was absolutely breathtaking, and is currently at the top of our list!

Definitely a great place to spend the day and appreciate all the ingenuity and leadership inventing and building such renown vehicles etc. I mean just some of the machining techniques and precision applications are impressive to say the least. You can literally spend all day here, they do have food and restaurants , which is a great thing.

Stopped by just to kill some time while in the Detroit area and was blown away. This is a world class museum that does an exceptional job of displaying and interpreting the history of the Industrial Revolution and how it has affected the human experience. You will spend hours here!

The wife and I had an great time during our time in the museum. A very massive museum. It would take someone at least three days if you stopped to read every placqured that would be there on every piece of equipment. Really enjoyed the history era about everyday life and the items that was used from the 1900' to 2020. The era took me back to my days of being a kid and re-visiting that era of 1980. Again its a very informative museum.

February 2024 - came here with family and friends. We had a good time with the paw patrol exhibit. A lot to see here and listen to. They have some new things since we have last visited. Race car game and they updated that area with some other things to do. Kids loved the automobile section. They added a plume market and a restaurant inside. You can buy wine from what I heard from two mom's. They have a nice gift shop and a lot of neat things to see.

If you like pioneer villages, well let me tell you, this is the Disney World of pioneer villages! It's so big, we couldn't do it all, will have to return someday. We rode the model t and carousel and train and they were so fun. Almost all the houses were staffed with knowledgeable people to explain stuff and answer questions. We had a frozen custard and it was scrumptious. Loved the crafting demonstrations. All the employees are dressed in period clothing and are so nice. Just a fantastic place. Hope to return someday.

This was a nice piece of the Henry Ford Museum/Theme Park, it is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy a day outside. Teach your kids some great American history, eat ice cream and take them for a ride in a model T. Everyone was so nice and seems like a lot of the staff have a piece of history tied to this place. I would definitely recommend a visit here while in Detroit.

The coolest museum I’ve ever been to. I love the living history and the array of buildings they have to offer. I wish more artists were at work in the crafts district. But for $40 per person I wish it didn’t cost extra to ride the train. Worth the price? Yes. But wow it’s expensive. Make sure you schedule a full day for this park! Also it’s hard to find the ticket booth. When you enter the park, go to the building on the left. They should have a sign

A really great museum in the form of an old world village. There is glass blowing, print pressing, blacksmithing, pottery and so many more shops and things to see. Highly recommended.

Really nice place to spend a day walking around during nice weather. Lots of historical buildings that are reassembled onsite brick by brick. This includes Henry Ford's childhood house, the Wright brothers' workshop, Edgar Alan Poe's house and much more. Also got to ride around in an original working well-maintained Model-T cars with a chauffeur driving around the park, which is almost 100 years old. Really cool place to check out! The only problem may be finding parking. I'd plan on coming earlier during the day to make sure you get a spot closer to the entrance.

We have visited the village twice now and it is still amazing. Where else can you go and see the home where the Webster American Dictionary was finished, the bike shop where the first airplane was designed and built, and the laboratory where the light bulb was perfected. We splurged this year for the Christmas meal at the Eagle Tavern. I highly recommend it. It was a delicious seasonal meal with great entertainment. I'm so glad that we purchased our tickets in October. Holiday Noah's was even better than ever. We were able to to enjoy the Village all night due to the mild weather. Of course a trip is not complete without roasted chestnuts and a cup of cocoa.

Greenfield Village was an amazing experience we went to Greenfield Village but also to the Henry Ford Museum I took my daughter with me who's very much into learning about history and we enjoyed ourselves. All of the exhibits in the museum where really interesting and just seeing the evolution of cars and even the art pieces it was just really a great experience. Even the area that was dealing with black history was super informative I had never seen the actual bus that Rosa Parks was arrested from (and they had that actual bus) great experience for my kids. The Greenfield Village area with people dressed in the clothes that they wore back in during those times was really cool to see the cars that they drove in we rode on the train that was powered by coal... that was a really cool experience. Seeing how certain things were made like the Pottery area or area where they made the pottery and the guide told us about how it was made and what they used to actually decorate the pottery after it's been fired and glazed. Really cool and really good information. We got to see them actually blow glass they showed the actual method in which they used to create glass sculptures and things like that. It was really hot but it was really cool to watch... great experience overall! Definitely want to come back and take nieces and nephews and my other kids with me the next time that I go.

Attended the Christmas event they offered. We stopped by the Mini Donut Truck inside the park. After consuming the mini donuts, I got the worst food poisoning I’ve probably had in my life. I’m assuming the donuts might have been undercooked, as they had a huge line and most likely wanted to get orders out quick. The village had a few Christmas attractions, but it felt like it wasn’t as eventful as the Halloween one per se. Overall, I would give them another chance to see the village but maybe avoid the mini donuts this time.

Very nice museum and a lot to see. Easy to spend a full day and simply get lost in history. I had a great day and look forward to come again.

It was fun. I think it's a bit pricey and there wasn't much reenactment. It was good information and a good history lesson. Kids enjoyed it while being good exercise. Glass blowing was awesome.

Absolutely loved it. Total package is a little pricey and food price is pretty ridiculous but we loved it. So much history in one place. Ford purchased and relocated historic homes to those 80 acre lot. Beautiful location with Model T for hire that will give you rides around the town as well as a carousel and a steam train.

Love learning about history and it is an awesome place to learn and see what life was like back then. Henry Ford didn't want us to forget our history. My boys loved it too will definitely go back.

This place is a definite must see! I can not recommend it enough for all those history buffs out there. Most of the buildings are staffed with actors who are very knowledgeable about the history of the village and are eager to share their knowledge with you. Don’t forget to buy tickets for rides on a model t, the train, and the carrousel. Be prepared for a lot of walking. Bring strollers and wagons for the littles.

Interesting open-air history museum founded by Henry Ford with houses of famous Americans that were moved to this location. OK, that feels a little off that you take someones history and make it your own. However I really enjoyed this museum and it was really well preserved and museums inside the museums. It is really difficult to have a museum (open-air) with many houses that were actually build there.

Super cool place with lots to see and do. They're going for a period correct feel and they did a pretty good job. My only regret is only scheduling one day on our RV trip to visit Greenfield and the Henry Ford Museum. We could have easily spent a day (or more) on each one and not been bored for a second.

We went for the Halloween Event and had a great time, despite a bit of "witchy weather". The kids in the family had a total blast, and the staff were fantastic. Helpful, great with kids, patient, kind. All around super enjoyable.

Can't recommend this place enough. World class museum. Outdoor activities at Greenfield Village are educational and enjoyable. It's great to visit during an off time because it's not as busy, but, Saturdays in the summer have much more interaction at the park - historical baseball games, farmers working, musicians playing, etc. I'd recommend checking the calendar of events for more! Kids play area is great.

This is a good place to stop and learn about the people that made modern automotive transportation possible. The staff was extremely friendly and will tell you its not a car museum. It a great place if you like reading the signs. I wouldn't recommend this for small children. I had a couple extra hours to burn and this was well worth it for me. There were only a few cars in the museum. I was able to see most of it in two hours.

A fantastic gem for those who love all things automotive. Great historic details and background on the giants who built the industry, and those who lead it today. Well worth the visit!

We were told its not necessarily a car focused hall, as much as they focus on the people who have innovated the automotive industry. Very small but; filled with interesting knowledge on the auto makers.

If you're any age or level of automotive enthusiasm, the Automotive Hall of Fame is a must see. The entry fee is cheap, and the entire presentation is absolutely beautiful. Our docent was named Tony Cafaro, and he was a true professional. Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable. He literally took time to make sure we understood everything we looked at. People like that are hard to come by, and it added to our enjoyment. I would recommend visiting the Hall of Fame if you're anywhere near there. You won't be disappointed!

Very nice museum! full of biographic information from the pioneers of the automobile industry! a must for visitors that want to know more about the people who made and change the industry.

I drove 39 miles to go to the Automotive Hall of Fame. I checked the website for hours before I left. It said they were open Thursdays between 10-6. On Thursday 12/29/22 I arrived at 10:30 and they were not open. I called the number from the front window and no one would answer. The front window had the same hours as the website. Luckily the Henry Ford Musem was open and my drive was not a waste, although my son, daughter and I had been looking forward to seeing the Hall of Fame Museum. When we left Henry Ford around 2PM the Hall of Fame was open but we were out of time. I will not make this drive again unless I have tickets in hand and I know someone will be there to open the door. Very disappointed.

If You are an automotive fan and wish to know a little more about the people's dedication to industry please visit this place. Unfortunately, I had a very short time to read everything but this is an important check point for me as automotive engineer

First time visiting very interesting would highly recommend. The lady that we purchased our tickets from at the main entrance was extremely informative and helpful made for such a nice experience. They are not opened every day, so check their website to make sure they’re open on the day you’re planning to go. Another added bonus was free EV charging at the front.

A very nice gallery that explains the life and the minds of some extraordinary people arround the globe that have had great success in the automotive industry. Good museum for People that want to read about great Engineering minds.

We went for free. Got my monies worth. I love cars but this is not my cup of tea. As others have stated it is a person museum not an automotive museum.

A great experience for the automotive industry lover! There's so much information about the "behind the scenes" people that I never realized. Did you know the inventor of the cruise control was blind?? A very informative look at the industry for someone either in or going into the business.

Incredibly fascinating place. They don't have many cars in the musuem, the musuem is mainly about the people that changed the auto industry. You can get a free guided tour that's about a hour long and if you can get it, I would highly recommend it.

I visited this museum with my husband and mother-in-law on Sat. Jan. 6, 2024. We spent two hours there and did not even see all of it - we never got to the lower level or finished the second floor. There were only a few other people in the museum with us so we had lots of space. We learned so much. There is so much interesting information. The first floor had great displays highlighting the history of Arab music, the development of writing, numbers, buildings, science discoveries and the three monotheistic religions. On the second floor, they have a changing map over the steps that shows you the early history of Arab nations, what countries are now considered Arab, associated, as well as North African. This was very helpful. There are lots of interesting displays on this floor highlighting Arab Americans and their contributions in music, business, charity, science, humanities, etc. (you must walk away from this museum able to list at least five famous Arab Americans if you could not before you went), then more on Arab cooking, Arab immigration to the United States, the problematic stereotyping of Arab Americans in the media, Arab Americans standing up, etc. Most of it is static displays that you have to read but they had some audio and video depictions. I would highly recommend this museum for anyone interested in learning more about Arab Americans and plan to go back to see more. I did have some trouble with the small size and amount of text in the displays as I spent much of the two hours just reading.

I got the chance to be one of the instructors for their wonderful photography programs “ Sura” for this year which gave me the chance to give back to the little ones. I wish they have more advertising budget for the plenty events that’s goin on on their plate that enriches the community Love working with you guys!

Went with my 8 year old son. As an Arab American I was happy to take my son to a museum that represents him and his background. We go to a lot of museums that represent other cultures and backgrounds and it was nice to go to one that we can relate to. I learned a lot about the first Arab Immigrants to the USA.

Very educational and absolutely loved the art exhibit. The paintings were really neat and the main floor architecture is beautiful. Must go, a lot of history we were not aware of. Highly recommended. It’s a small museum so 2 hrs is good time.

I went for the 1st time yesterday and it was amazing! The artwork, the various items people brought with them when they moved to the U.S., and the rooftop garden were some of the highlights. Also, our tour guide (Dave) was awesome. He was knowledgeable and engaging. I hope to make a return visit.

This mall is very very big and doesn’t look like you’re expecting much from the outside but once you walk in it is totally different. It’s so nice and clean and very very spacious. I give it a 10 out of 10. A lot of stores and places to go.

We really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good in the food court and we got my daughter exactly what she wanted for the upcoming summer months!! We will definitely be back.

This mall is decent. JCPenney and Macy’s keep this mall going in my opinion. They have a Golds Gym and a good selection of other stores. Very clean and spacious. Not the most aesthetically pleasing but serves its purpose. You can choose from a few different food spots at the Food Court. Shoes , clothes, and entertainment at the AMC Movie Theater.

A big mall with many stores to shop from. A fitness gym, and a large food court with plugs to charge our mobile phones. But that movie theater next door is gone. So that incentive to come to this mall has been reduced to being a passing through curiosity. Or just some employees place of employment.

This was my first time going to this mall in Detroit. It's one of the nicest malls I've ever been in. It was quite empty for a Sunday afternoon. It's very clean inside. There are not too many options for food in the food court, but whatever is there is good. A few stores have closed down, but overall, it was very nice.

I buy most all of my suits there. They're stylish and make a statement. They will always make certain you leave with a proper folded pocket hanky and a perfectly tied double Windsor knot in your tie.

While nowhere as busy as years ago there is still a reason it keeps chugging along. No longer as sprawling as it once was it is still nearly filled with all kinds of stores. They also help each other out, if you can't find something they will point you to another store to try. I went in looking for headbands, each store recommended me to try another until I found two. Friendly staff and clean as well.

Nice environment at Fairlane Mall, had a particular amazing experience at Lovely Home Scents in front of Aldo Shoes. These people have the best quality body oils I’ve used in my 55 years of age; My wife and I are very pleased! We’ll definitely be back.

Women with children . Be aware!!. When you take your children to the bathroom especially at the food court there are predators waiting for you to send your children by themselves. One man came in the women's bathroom cause he thought my son was by himself but I was standing there . He couldn't see me because the wall was blocking me...Ladies and men with kids PLEASE BE AWARE. STAY SAFE!!

Beautifully built. Awesome food court. You have to go early before "the crowd" comes out, and when they do, it gets questionable, lol. I'll visit again.

It was ok. Allot of nice stores but for disabled people it's kind of hard to get around. I use a walker and they have elevators in the middle of the mall but that's it. They have ramps set up to go around in the rest of the mall but let this be a warning the ramps are very hard to navigate, very steep up and down and long. I had to ride my brakes going down very hard. it was painful to go down or up the hills, going up walking is very hard on your body due to the height of the ramps All in all it's a nice man but not very handicapped friendly. I was in allot of pain for only being there for 30 minutes or so. O couldn't do anything else the rest of the day from the pain and exhaustion.

Enjoyed myself with myself at Fairlane Mall. Finally found these boots in my size! Yes, Double Digits!! Go early when their are only a few people. I don't frequent malls, but happy I did that day. 😊🥰

Went to a & w drive thru. The cod sandwich was excellent. As always the onion rings are the best. Girl not real friendly at the window but the young man who asked me to pull my car up and wait for my food was very nice. He brought my food out with a smile.

Great place with plenty of things to do. Definitely love taking the whole family. You can find almost anything to do. If you're having troubles finding anything, there are plenty of people to help point you in the right direction. Love going there and will keep going as long as my legs keep working!!!

Beautiful layout Handicap and stroller friendly Bunch of different brands and local shops including macys and JC penny Food court is decent with halal food option also available Restrooms 🚻 are mostly clean but rude people don’t leave any chance to mess em up Water coolers are placed for customers convenience. Definitely a good shopping place for Dearborn residents. One thing this mall is missing a play area for kids.

This review is meant to demonstrate my deepest of appreciation toward maintenance worker, Ms. Robin. I had not visited the Town Center in quite sometime. Over 3 years to be exact! Therefore, I could not figure out where to find a unique clothing store for 2 year olds. Thank you Ms. Robin, for taking the time to direct me to my destination. As a child, I used to love visiting this mall. However, as I grew up, I realized that the mall was not up to the standards that I expected. In fact, I found it to be one of the most unpleasant malls I've ever been to. The stores were often deserted and the condition of the mall was quite unsanitary. Unfortunately, the people who frequented the mall seemed to reflect the same negative attitude that permeated the mall. All in all, it was quite disappointing to see my once-favorite mall in such a state.

Doesn't have the same feel it use to have. Still plenty of shopping options as well as a reasonably priced massage parlor. The lash place is gone and the starters. The occasional group scuffle doesn't help the attraction of it but i am starting to see alot more families shopping together which should help bring that comfortable feeling back.

Fairlane Mall is iconic. I was only able to find one item I wanted because I waited for the last minute to shop. A Detroit Lions cap. I was disappointed with the open and closing hours. I think Fairlane is about to succumb to the same pitfalls as the former Northland and Eastland Malls. However, I still like Fairlane. They have plenty of stores to choose from that might suit your needs. I will revisit them. Oh yeah because they may be going out of business soon I saw some great price cut deals at various stores up to 70% off. It might be worth it to check it out while you still can if you can make the time. Happy shopping yall.

even though the house is closed for renovations I always love walking around the gardens, estate and the trails it's absolutely gorgeous each time! I wish I could have visited more this summer but it's beautiful in all the seasons. definitely worth a visit. (my pictures were taken 2 weeks ago I can only imagine how beautiful the changing trees look now)

This is my favorite place in Dearborn. Although the home itself is closed due to restoration, the grounds are open to the public. When will restoration be complete? No one knows. It's a secret 🤫

This place is huge, love bringing the kids to see all the flowers, wildlife, and ponds. The trails run great distances. I don't know if they closed this part of the path but when we were kids we could walk the back paths all the way to henry ford college. I let the kids run around smelling all the flowers. Good way to burn some time, usually stay for about an hour or two.

The estate was amazing! Beautiful gardens to walk through. Rouge river running through the back. Couple of ponds. Some areas were in need of restoration but the property and house were beautiful! Highly recommend checking it out! Great for families or as a romantic walk for a couple 💚💚💯💯💯

This has been a FAVORITE place of mine for decades. Quite telling of our times to have so much of the property closed due to renovation. Cést la vie. Still had a GREAT time with my Friend who moved out West years ago. Sarge certainly LOVES his freedom as a Service Dog In Training (SDIT)... Security Patrol tried hating on us and told us "Folks aren't allowed to take dogs into that area..." but we were leaving so I didn't bother to explain... You know what I have to say: "Just smile and wave, Boys! Just smile and wave!" (ADA has got OUR backs!)

A very important piece of history to the Dearborn Detroit area. The grounds are very well maintained and are beautiful. They truly transport you back to Henry and Clara Ford’s time. The architecture of the home is modeled Scottish baronial style and is very unique. It would be great to see the inside of the home, but it is not possible as they have been doing renovations/restorations for a while now. It is 350 acres, and you have the most magnificent view of the River Rouge. Also, if you look around, you will see Mrs. Ford’s rock garden; the new garage being built; and the rose garden!

Fair Lane is a peek behind one of the 20th Century’s industrial giants home life. This sprawling estate was his home for decades. His inventions born at this site, family life and you gather he had an appreciation for innovative architecture. This access was limited as there were renovations ongoing as of February 2023. Also, bicycles and dogs are not permitted.

This is a hidden gem in Dearborn. Amazing during lilac season , the whole place smells heavenly. The flip side is that they close at 6pm and by 5.50pm, they start going around telling people to wrap up. Early June, the rose garden comes in full bloom. The roses have different kinds of fragrances, this is the first I've noticed so far. There are a variety of summer blooms planted. They have a fern garden too. Very tranquil place to stroll and have a picnic. Tables are provided.

Where to start? The place is simple gorgeous. Lovely gardens. Lovely view to the Rouge River. Amazing architecture of the house. I loved it. I spent almost two hours just walking around. I could not get inside... I wanted to see the interior. I wonder if there are some guided tours.... However, I give this place 5 stars. Specially during Spring/Summer. Absolutely gorgeous.

Review is only for the grounds as the house was closed for renovations. Parking is free and no charge to walk the grounds. No pets allowed (pets are allowed at son’s estate grounds, FYI). Quiet and peaceful, nice for walk along river and grounds. Just have to compete for weddings and other photography sessions. Check website prior to going as they do close the grounds as well for events sometimes.

My fav place to just walk around and enjoy nature, if you're quiet and lucky you'll see some cute little critters walking around.

My husband (who is Muslim) and I (a Christian) visited the Mosque on our trip to Detroit. This is one of the most peaceful and absolutely gorgeous buildings I have ever visited. Everyone we saw greeted us with a friendly hello, even though I obviously did not “fit in” with my non traditional loose headscarf. The history room was also very informative and interesting as well.

Beautiful mosque and community in Dearborn. I came to this place during Ramadan and it was truly a spiritually uplifting experience. The mosque itself is open concept and designed very well. The interior architecture as well as external is phenomenal, as you can appreciate the calligraphy and structure of the whole building. The community itself is very well connected with one another, as this was a nice place of gathering. This mosque is very clean and well maintained, which includes the stations for wudu and interior floors. There are ample amounts of Quran available for reading, as well as large amounts of prayer space for both women and men. I look forward to coming back here in the near future!

A beautiful masjid for Muslims to pray, attend lectures and kids to play around. It’s huge with an amazing hall that is use for praying purposes. People are great and welcoming and will say salam alekum as you walk in and around.

It's a masjid. It did it's job, I went in and prayed. I didn't realize until I was done that it is a Shia Masjid.

I recently visited the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Michigan on Eid. It was a beautiful and welcoming place, with a strong sense of community and respect for all. The architecture was impressive, and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. I was struck by the commitment to promoting understanding and tolerance, and felt honored to be a part of the celebration. Overall, my visit to the Islamic Center of America was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the Muslim community in Michigan.

They let women pray with men together but when it's their own wives they get mad at them probably because they might start looking or glancing at other men they find more attractive than their husband. It's whatever though never going back in there unless it's a special occasion, Shias in the west is much more different than Iranis, they try to push the political agenda of Ali being the Caliphate, leader or whatever INTO the studies and teachings of the religion. I have never seen a major Irani "SHIA" mosques or Islamic centers where they let both genders pray together.

I stopped by for a short visit to see the largest mosque in America It’s a beautiful structure and people are really kind and helpful!

Ma Sha Allah Tabarak allah. May Allah reward immensely everyone who shares in this mosque. The mosque very well designed and you can see the beauty of Islamic architecture. It’s very clean and neat , the prayer hall is very large, the facilities are numerous, the parking lot is large, and you can easily find a parking for your car. Location of the Mosque at Ford Rd. making easy to find it. The staff are friendly and greeting everyone regardless what his religion.

The staff and attendees were extremely gracious in giving us a tour and sharing knowledge with us. They provided us with scarves to cover our heads as we entered the worship space. It was my first time entering a mosque, and a very memorable cultural experience.

Very impressive looking from outside, but I was a bit taken back by the fence in the entire perimeter of the building. Also all the surveillance cámaras all around the building and other buildings near by. Its that feeling you get, like for a second you are in a different country.

I went here on a Field trip with Dearborn Schools. It was a learning experience for the students. It remanded me of a very smaller version of what the Greenfield Village offers. They have a home set up of what it looked like many many years ago and it gave the students a first hand view of things. They even got to learn about the different types of crops they grew as well as how to make butter! The final moment of the trip was a little history on a variety of artifact they had in the basement of the museum. They also got to expierence first hand what it was like to go to school in the past as well. Great insight for our students to learn about.

A great place to stop in and learn about Dearborn’s history. The archivist upstairs is incredibly helpful if you have a research interest. Definitely worth stopping in.

Very interesting history, especially islamic immigrants to Dearborn and also the early use of the building as an armory for storing gunpowder in the late 1800s.

Really enjoyed a great fieldtrip here. Gem of Dearborn. Patient, friendly, & knowledgeable staff. Perfect place for visiting with schoolmates or family. Can't wait to go again. Was very interactive with the kids.

A small place but with helpful staff that will tell all about the history of Dearborn! They're very friendly and will try their best to answer your questions. The gift shop is also amazing to pick up a souvenir or two to even deck out your own home!

We’ve toured both locations with a private tour each time at both sites. Such great history my daughter and I learned about Michigan, the early settlers and of Henry Ford and his legacy.

We had our wedding afterglow at Dearborn Brewing and it was perfect!! The staff were so enthusiastic, helpful, and fun! The drinks were great, we got so many compliments. The space was intimate and we were able to rent it out just for our group. We also were able to bring in catering food. It was a great night and we are so thankful to the folks at Dearborn Brewing!

If you want a fantastic craft beer, look no further! This is one of my husband and my very favorite places to grab a good beer. The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Had a great time visiting brewery and meeting the owners John & Sheila and their head brewer Alex who makes great tasting craft beer! We're so glad to hear they now offer canned options to order and pick up! We love bragging about our visit to this local gem!

You know, it's a shame that more people don't know about the great beers crafted at this little brewery. Everything they brew here is excellent and robust with flavor, rippled with delicious undertones and examples of a fine degree of ingredients and fermentation. I love the Death By Chocolate Porter as well as the traditional staple, the 10w40. Next time you stop at The Henry Ford museum and Greenfield Village, be sure to set some time aside for this Dearborn treasure.

I think this is a pretty new place and they had a limited variety of 6-7 beers but most things were solid. I wouldn’t call it a beer snob’s destination but it had a nice family friendly/neighborhood atmosphere and very helpful staff. Hit the spot after a long day

I’ve been here twice now, and it’s been a cozy, friendly place each time. The location is nice and close to restaurants, and the beers are great. I especially like the Death By Chocolate Porter and the Falling Walnut Brown. I’ll have to sample some of their other brews when I’m back in the area.

Stopped in, first time here, for a couple beers. The brews were good and the 5:30 to 6:00 happy hour with $5 beers that were normally 6.50 or even 7.50 was awesome. Ended up having 3 for the price of 2 normally. An enjoyable microbrewery.

We had fun on our first time walking. I wish we were able to walk more, but there was a sign that said side walk closed in the middle of our trail so we had to turn back. We didnt mind it the walk we just wish we could have seen the loop around.

Rouge Gateway Trailhead is a nice nature escape for walkers, rollerbladers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Teasing along the banks of the Rouge River there is a resurgent wildlife in the area. People will find all sorts of birds, raccoons, deer and vermin about. The path takes you by Henry and Clara Ford’s home, UM Dearborn Campus, and Henry Ford Community College. This trail works well for people wanting a longer run or bike into the Hines Park system and has decent parking at its start off Michigan Ave.

Nice trails in the middle of a city. You can walk all the way to UM campus and Henry Ford mansion. Better atmosphere during summer and fall. By the way there are quite a bit of trash build up on the banks of the river and beginning of the trails, Dearborn is close to Detroit.

Great trail that's kind of hidden off Michigan Ave. It's fun to just find a random trail and see where it takes you. I was able to get close to the Henry Ford estate but not on the grounds. It's been closed long before covid for some reason. If you venture around their is a path that will dump you on Hines Drive.

Such a wonderful place to explore. From Michigan Ave. to Hines Drive. Well light in the evenings by the HF college campus. The walks through the woods are clear with nice spaces to seek out in the woods.

It's very hard to get kids outdoors these days. This trail is one of the very best I've come across by far! All it took was one time on the trail, and we have been hooked. Not only is it pretty long, so it's great for exploring. But also, full of wildlife! This trail isn't as full of humans, and right off of Michigan Ave. 10/10 stars Anyone looking for a great wildlife trail, this is the place for you!

A good walk but trail closed 1/2 way along. This made it half as long as it was supposed to be. Good that they didn’t close it 1/4 of the way since it would have been even shorter.

This is a great space for meetings and wvent.s. where is a little Cafe on premise as well as a gift shop. This is a stones throw from Greenfield Village. There is ample parking here and electric chargers for your electric or hybrid vehicles.

For an auditorium owned by a corporation for its employees it isn't bad. Just keep in mind its here for learning not entertainment, regardless if they are using better than average audio and video equipment. Would be cool if it was a full on theatre like Fox downtown Detroit, with a decent stage, back stage, and balcony. Could take learning and presentations to a whole new level.

Visit The Hive to experience one of the many signiture specialty lattes and order bistro style sandwiches from the menu or schedule one from their mobile ordering site! This site offers large collaborative spaces and rentable rooms to accomodate small intimate gatherings on up to 250 in a large theatre.

Very nice and across from Henry Ford museum. They seemed to be having a problem with the lights when I was there. They would flicker on occasion. Well kept and spacious.

I have been to two Ford sponsored events the FXC. Very nice facility and all of the employees that work there are extremely nice. Lots of parking and BEV chargers are available.

Visited as a Ford supplier to a quality workshop, the facilities are pretty, cleaning, neat and functionally top technology and design

I’ve been driving by this church for some time now, finally I made it inside to see Jesus and let me tell you how beautiful he was, all glory to God. Must come here for mass one of these days.

Beautiful historic church, the architecture is amazing throughout. They also have holy water for the home, so take a container when you visit.

I am from Brazil and during my visit to Detroit for professional reasons I enjoyed visiting this wonderful church and also to attend a Sunday mass. It was a great day!

I have come here on & off since I was little. Love the old church feel. Absolutely beautiful stained glass windows, wooden doors. Beautiful marble. Just watch for hidden steps here & there. Never change sacred heart!!! They also have a school K-8 attached.
