Another beautiful Minnesota State Park! Great spot for a day trip! It was very busy but it was also a great fall day when we went. The waterfalls were beautiful! We walked the road over to the other section of the park where the bison are kept. There is a nice walking trail around the bison enclosure. We ended up walking almost 8 miles. Dog friendly trails. Worth checking out!

Such a quaint and beautiful place for a quick walk. The weather was pleasant despite it being early spring. Was expecting cold winds but thankfully the day was pleasant which heightened the experience. The walk down the falls was easy making it fun for kids as well as the elderly. A must visit place if you're looking for something close to the twin cities with less crowds.

Great example of an amazing park for a smaller space. Great day use area with very unique scenery. The river valley is beautiful with uncommon rock formation for this part of MN. Nice paved trails and some decent hiking/biking for a smaller area. Campground is well treed and fairly spread out. Plus they have a bison enclosure. The area around the park is very scenic, Great park especially for spring and fall colors.

The campsites were some of the most spacious we've experienced, and private. The buffalo were a neat experience, and the waterfall was gorgeous. The kids enjoyed swimming and playing in the water at the base of the waterfall, which is a bit of a trek down to with littles. The state hike was gorgeous, and not very long, which was nice for the kids. A stroller is probably doable on the trail. This state park has a lot to see and do!

Beautiful views, great bison viewing and waterfall. Busy with a lot of people, and there’s not many trails. Most of the people are around the waterfalls but there’s still a decent amount of traffic in the bison viewing area. There is a scenic overlook to the intact prairie a short drive up from the bison area with a historic mill on it. There are native prairie plants throughout the park, which is good to look for monarchs.

Tremendous waterfall and fun hike. Lovely walk with freshly misted sprinkles from the falls. Hike isn't the easiest and more challenging for some; if water levels too high path may be covered to get to falls base. By the stairs leading down to the falls base is a sign that says the trek is 70 steps down and 70 steps up. It is 0.15mi from top of the stairs to base of waterfall. Enjoy the trip!

This was a great park even if only for a day! Sadly we haven't stayed here yet for camping, but we did go to the falls and took a hike. All and all we spent roughly, 5 hours here along with a 3hr (round trip) drive from the Minneapolis. They don't have a ton of trails as it's a smaller state park in comparison, but we did ~7 miles of hiking while we're were there, so depending on your perspective, this could be a little or a lot. We walked 5 miles around the Buffalo enclosure which was a pretty flat east walk with lots of places to rest. The kiddos enjoyed the hike and while we had lots of water it was warmer (87°F), so they were a little warm by the end. My kids are 6-8 and we go on longer walks frequently so this maybe some context to consider with your own. They have a Buffalo drive through and while the kids were really excited about that, it was what we spent the least time while we're were there on. We spent about 10 minutes and once we saw the Buffalo for a while they were less interested. We did however spend a good amount of time near the waterfalls and along the river playing in the water. As a parent fyi, lots of good picture opportunities with the kids here and they really wanted to camp here sometime. There were also a couple other places near by in St Peter to go hiking as well including 7mile park. All and all, I have a solid recommendation for Minneopa as a day trip place for kids and hikers alike. I'll add more when we camp.

What a great park! We camped, and everything is within a short walking distance. We went to see the bison twice while on our trip. If you have a park pass, you can go in as much as you would like. There is an old mill to check out, and I recommend doing so. The view is amazing.

This is a really beautiful spot, really nice native plant diversity avg wildlife. I went there on some really hot days and still had a good time. The waterfall was nice in spite of the drought. Saw some Sunchoke which was really pretty

Went to see the bison first, and that was lucky because that part closes earlier than the rest of the park. It was cool to see them for a few minutes anyway. We went to the waterfall side next. The falls and creek were pretty low and mostly frozen, with just a trickle behind the ice. The trail rails could use some maintenance

We stayed here in group camp 4. I recommend group site 1 (closest to vault toilets) and also 4, but it's the furthest away from the parking lot. They provide 2 wheeled carts. The firewood was $8/bundle and was claimed to be kiln dried, but some pieces were wet. The water fall was down to a trickle. Some trails by there were closed. We walked around the bision enclosure (took us about 2 hours), but driving through the area allowed you to get much closer to the Bison.

This park was nice. We stayed camping and the site we had was spacious and seclude it seemed. Going in to see the bison was cool and the double waterfall is a must see. But it was also packed with people. If you are camping wait it out and then you can get it basically to yourself.

It's a smaller park, but worth the visit if you're in the area. It has picnic tables, a covered spot to reserve for get togethers. It's beautiful, but not at its full potential when I was here due to the falls being at a trickle due to lack of rain. The hiking trails and the falls would be that much better if it was going at more than a trickle.

Such a WONDERFUL holiday lights display! A real treat to go through for all ages! Not a bad drive from the Twin Cities, either. There are even real reindeer on display. 🦌 So nice!! I highly recommend... Be sure to go through twice and cue your radio to 90.1 fm! 😉🎄✨

I wish more towns and cities had a Sibley Park! There are walking trails, a pond, farm animals, a calming garden, gazebos, memorials, a great sunset view over the river, and within the same walk you can pet a sheep, take the kids to the playground, and play Punk Rock Softball. It's also the best place in town for playing Pokemon Go.

The park was decorated beautifully with tons and tons of lights. I'm up from Florida and have seen photos of past years when my family members have gone. It's even more incredible in person. I'd definitely go through it again and again. Outstanding job Kiwanis !!! One of the top 3 Christmas 🎄 light displays I've ever seen.

We visited the park for the lights this weekend. We were all amazed! The lights were gorgeous! So many lights! A great place to bring the kids. We chose to walk as the drive through line was ridiculously long. The only downside was the lack of concessions. 1 concession building that was so packed we skipped it. A must visit if you love Christmas lights!!

This is an amazing little gem of a park that is concealed within city limits and likely unknown by many of the locals even Im sure. Come here for your fix for wildlife, your hiking trails, your kids to burn off steam, or maybe to get hitched to the gal or guy in your life! Its been here since 1887 and the views are splendid. So if you visit Mankto make a day of Sibley Park. You will thank me after you come here and Im willing to bet that you too will want to come back again to explore even more....

Awesome lights for Christmas. It's a bit of a wait but worth it! No fee, donations welcomed.

Holds the Kiwanis Lights every Christmas. Definitely worth stopping to walk through or at the least drive through. Has a great play area for the kids, animals for the kids to see, and close to the river. Has bathrooms available with flush toilets. Lots of room for events or to play a soccer game. Check it out anytime of the year!

Nice playground, barn type animals to feed, pavilions, walking path. Well cared for. No food or drink around the animals, hand washing areas. Also exercise equipment. No pets allowed.

Never been there during daytime. But Kiwanis light show is amazing and that made us feel the park should be pretty awesome too with all the tall trees throughout! Loved the little barn they had and the animals we can see in there. We saw reindeer! We loved parking the car in the middle of the park and enjoying the trees and lights for a while having some food. Great for families, friends or even for dates. The Kiwanis Christmas lights are free so that makes it all the more value to drive all the way there and to enjoy!

This park is really nice. Have lots of good memories from when my daughter was younger. We'd walk around looking at the animals. Feed the animals. Then we'd play in the playground. It's awesome that they have the Christmas 🎄 decorations and the whole park is lit up with Christmas lights. I definitely recommend Sibley Park !!!

The Kiwanis lights at Sibley Park never disappoint! It's fun to go in the middle of the week with no wait time, you can drive through multiple times, it's just so magical! Well worth it to get out of the car to take a picture with the big tree in the middle, then you can also grab some mini donuts and hot chocolate for the rest of the drive around the park.

Pretty cool place for kids. My 3 year old niece had a blast. I was kind of annoyed by the corporate influence with the cement exhibit. Let’s teach kids valuable lessons like nature and science, not how to work for a company their entire lives.

We made a day trip as this museum is not close to us and it was very much worth the drive. A lot of variety for a smaller footprint museum. We are hoping to go back again next year. My 4 year old did not want to leave he was having such a good time.

We LOVE CMSM! My son is 18mo and we've been going since he was 9 months old. They change and edit their main attractions somewhat frequently while also providing a great deal of consistency that let my son become more confident and comfortable there over the past 9 months. We are never bored and I can guarantee that we will be members for a long time to come!

Wow. Gorgeous play area for kids. Many hands on activities, such as controlling an excavator.

This place was fun, clean, and organized and the staff was exceptional. It was a great experience for both my 7 year old and my 2 year old.

3 days in a row during Christmas break and there's still a ton of stuff we haven't gotten to! Season pass was a GREAT investment!

My three year old loved it, and I loved watching how much fun he was having. They have a variety of fun play and learning stations including farming, construction, kitchens, wildlife, woodworking and more. It is kept pretty clean with employees actively working to keep it organized. Great place for an indoor afternoon activity for toddlers.

Children’s museum is a wonderful experience. I have 4 children, so each child has their own interests and I feel safe enough to let them roam within eyeshot, and nearly entire museum is within eyeshot when you know where your child is.

The Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota is a must visit location for families in the Mankato area. The museum was filled with a large variety of activities for children of all ages but would be best for ages 2-8. A majority of the activities had a lesson component that adults could teach the children. My son loved the magna-tiles, ice fishing and grocery store. We got there as soon as they opened on a Saturday but it got really busy by 10:30am. Would recommend early morning to avoid the crowds.

So many fun things for kids of all ages to do. It is small enough where you can have an eye on your kiddos, but big enough where there is a diverse amount to keep them busy. We love spending time here, and will continue to keep our membership active as long as our kids are little. Thanks for providing such a wonderful atmosphere to spend our time at!

Our grandchildren beg to go here! They played nonstop for an hour and a half. We packed their lunch. Their ages are 8 and 6. Very educational place and very clean. We love taking them there.

It was our first time at a Children's museum and we had a lot of fun. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait. We can't wait to go again.

Really pretty even in the winter. Good variation of trails, some offering a few steep inclines and ~200ft of elevation change. Little to no cell service (Verizon) beyond the trail heads.

Really nice maintained trails! I wish there were more signs with what the trails were. Would help out as you get further in. Some bathrooms and buildings are there. Should be able to start a fire.

Absolutely GORGEOUS park!! The trails, bridges, landscape and rock formations are incredible. My daughter wanted one of her senior picture sessions there, and the park was beautiful and perfect for that.

This is a large park, over 600 acres and has miles of wooded hiking trails as well as equestrian trails. Shelters, grills, volleyball courts are first come first serve. Ample room to throw frisbee, baseball, etc. Lots of scenic views and 7 mile creek is quite pretty and relaxing as well as a natural spring fed trout stream with angling opportunities. Lots of room, shelters, scenic views, trails and a pretty trout stream makes this park certainly deserving of 4 stars. No entry fee required.

Beautiful park. Trails for walking or horse riding. Lots of room to have a cook out with your friends and family. If you like hiking or just a simple walk, you will like the trails and the overall scenery. The trails not simply flat, there is change in the elevation. Seven Mile Creek runs through the park; It is normally a highlight as one gets to hear the rushing water. On this visit, the creek was fairly dry. Great place I would go back.

One of my absolute favorites in the Mankato area. There are 10 different trails to walk of varying difficulty so depending on how you're feeling, you can pick an easier or more difficult one. Tons of different wildlife to see, and ample fishing along the creek during the wetter seasons. If you've never been, I'd HIGHLY recommend checking it out at any time of the year, but especially in the fall as the trees change color.

Lots of fun. The kids got to ride their bikes, play at both parks, facilities and everything was clean. Nice and peaceful.

The creek is really rocky so you’ll want water shoes. Trails are well kept and the have multiple pavilions and parks. Great spots for picnics or get togethers! Volley ball net is always fun too!

Sharing the mountain biking experience, not the skiing experience. We went here from 3 hours away during the week and not the weekend, so it's practically dead. It's nice and easy that you can pay for your entry with PayPal if you don't have cash. Only a porta-potty for mtb riders. Can't speak to the shop since it was closed. The lifts are not available, not just because it was a weekday. I think they only run in winter. Would be awesome if it did, but I understand there's not enough riders. Maybe someday. It has many trails for all levels of riders. Could use more maps/signs throughout...hate pulling out a phone to look. Definitely could use some maintenance of the trails. Fallen branches and trees...this place definitely has potential.

I have cross country skied before, but not downhill. For the first time this past week I went and did a lesson with Ethan and he was absolutely fantastic at showing how to do some of the basic skills for downhill. This included moving perpendicular up the hill, skating, how to snowshoe/pizza, and we even went down the bunny hill a few times. This made me feel much more comfortable skiing and made it feel like going down a hill with XC! Just had to change my foot moments a little different. For sure a great time and I can't wait to go again. Their map shows some of the easier, intermediate, and black diamond hills. Rentals were about $30 and $8 for a helmet. Lift ticket depends on weekend or weekday (about $30-55). Chalet inside is nice and is a good place to have lunch after going up and down a bunch of times. They have fair options and the quality is more like a school lunch feeling. However, it wasn't bad at all.

Great place to get out and ski! 19 runs to choose from, it's where I learned to ski and I get out there 3 times a week. Great mountain biking too. Can't say enough about this local treasure.

Super fun tubing! The concessions left a bit to be desired, but we will definitely come back!

Been going here since I was little. Prices have been unacceptable for so many years but this year it has been the worst. Bought my pass for $550 only to be able to use it for maybe two months. Also weren't given any buddy passes for not buying my pass early enough. Staff as been nothing but awful and distasteful for years but this year has been the worst. Their treatment to customers has been horrible. I was yelled at to pick up skis that weren't mine because the guy on the four wheeler couldn't get through (as if it's my job to clean up a mess that isn't mine when i'm paying to be there). The woman in the ticket booth has been nothing but snarky and unhelpful to not only me but park people as well. Do not give them any business if you can. Many other hills will treat you with respect and give you a good time for a better price.

Came to Mt. Kato for my first time skiing (with my experienced skier wife) and it was a blast. Mid day on a Monday with no one on the trails or lifts made for a far more enjoyable/less stressful for a new skiier. One amazing feature here versus other ski mountains we looked into was the $10 adult first timer lesson. My coach Annabella was calm, professional and extremely helpful. She laid a great foundation for the rest of my day that went great. We will be back again for sure!

Woman in the rental area was very rude and would not let my friend switch out the rental board he was using. The original board was not sliding on the snow, and I knew it wasn’t the conditions because my board and everyone else’s boards were working just fine. After finally giving us a different board after being VERY rude and arguing with me constantly, the new board worked SOOO much better and my friend had a great first snowboarding experience! I don’t remember her name, but she was older, maybe middle aged and she was not nice at all. I am very disappointed in her customer service and our college ski club will not be returning.

I was so excited for this place but my experience was ruined for many reasons. First of all, the lessons did teach people how to ski, but I was falling and while doing the lessons and I didn't get help, our instructor just kept moving on without me.after that I took a break to get some food, it's really good but really expensive, 3 chicken strips for 8$! And the lady inpayed my money to was really nice. But then this employee who worked here made my day worse, by yelling at me for putting my ski on wrong, but didn't help at all. I felt upset with myself and started crying, feeling embarrassed. I also got story's from my friends that other employees were rude and unhelpful to mainly children. Overall I will never come here again

My family has been pass holders for years. After this year, we will never go here again. The management is beyond rude, the pass holder prices outrageous, the women's bathroom is a travesty, and the snow conditions completely unacceptable. Save your money. Go somewhere else where your business is appreciated. There is no effort to get the hill open in a timely fashion at the beginning of the season (it's been that way for years) and they rate at which they blow snow is ridiculous. They charge full price with only a few runs open and make no effort to take customer's concerns seriously. Visitors to the area: Do yourself a favor and pick a different hill. You will be sorely disappointed at Mount Kato. Mankato residents: Spend the gas money and go somewhere else.

This was a great hill to spend a few days getting comfortable with skiing. Friendly staff, not too crowded, we had a good time. Conditions were great and the runs were well groomed.

I've been shopping here since the mall was brand new. It's actually aged fairly good except for the floor tile - they need to remove the tile and put some sort of finish on it. It would make the mall feel less dated.

This mall is dead . Many store are leaving and move out . Many business lose hundreds thousands of dollars and move out. Due to high rent and increased rent and no traffic. Very sad the mall manager Paul , he doesn’t care . I move out lost 200k but I so much happier now . I hope anyone whom read this review beware and stay away from this mall. They will increasingly your rent till you move out . I paid $6900 per month for 950 square foot space per month .the worse of all rent increases $7200 per month on my last 3 years they told me rent will be up $7500 per month then every years afterwards is another 300 insurance . That will put my rent to $7800 , $8100 for my last year there this is for the space of 950 square foot the lease is super long they have they probably deal with my lease attorney behind my back my attorney sold me out . I sold the business for dirt cheap and move . Many tenants take millions dollars lost . Due to no traffic, the mall look dead most time . Specially in winter . Barely see anyone go shopping . General growth own this mall at the time I was there. But the office is run by Paul and his gang.

I did try food court and new EL GORDO and it was great food. Big portions fresh prepared food good hot sauce. Service was really nice,polite and friendly.

It's a mall with a nice Target and a movie theater attached. The food court has a carousel, which makes it a nice place to do kids birthday parties if you have a crowd. Several stores to buy clothes and shoes. The occasional knick knack shop. A Barnes and Noble right across from a large Shields (where you can request free samples of fudge in the entry) with a play area for little kids to run around between them is another highlight for those with little kids. Lots of folks enjoy going there just to walk around for exercise in the winter months. Several decent restaurants nearby.

We visited the target 🎯 at this shopping mall. I was looking for a lock for my kid locker, 3 of their employees(boys)didn’t know where those were. They kept sending me in different directions. After walking around the store for 35mins two other employees(girls)walked around two aisle and helped me locate those items.

Absolutely amazing experience, there are a lot of places to go for shopping, food, and best of all, there is kid entertainment- a whole secluded area, an arcade you can just walk in and out in quarters, a carousel, and more! I have four brothers and usually they are entertained the whole time. As far as cleanliness, not as amazing, but nobody is perfect! Definitely a place to visit and enjoy as a whole family!

Fun mall. It is conpletely walkable. Great parking. Movie theater, video game arcade, food court, carnival carosel for kids in the front of the mall. It has lota or clothes, art, electronics, books, sporting good stores like SCHEELS. The mall is a lot of fun for friends, family and singles out for a saturday afternoon. There is something for everyone. The food is reasonably priced and so are the gift shops. My favorite place to go is EARTH BOUND, a magical, new age, vintage clothes, art, statues, crystal rocks, incense, aromas. Highly recommended if stuck in Mankato and you dont know what else do to! Go to the Mall and help support the local economy and workers!

Always clean when we visit. Employees are friendly. There are a variety of stores. Be sure to check out the pop up stores and stores that are short term throughout the year. The Renaissance Glass store is one of the coolest, although this year, they are only there from mid November to early January.

In addition to all the stores you'll ever need for finding whatever it is your looking for (plus some!), The River Hills Mall has a full size carousel in the food court, rideable electric animals for both kids and adults, stroller carts to rent for the littles and lots more!

Pretty standard run of the mill mall. Aisles and stored were clean. Friendly people... but I am very much wondering why the Halloween store at the end of the meal was condemned. Not good and I feel kind of bad for the company that rented it from the mall to make money during the short holiday window and got screwed.

Beats online shopping. The mall is open and filled with active stores. It is a clean and well maintained. Variety of stores for almost any need. Didn't have many people on a warm August day. Plenty of parking.

Best Art exhibit space in southern Minnesota. They have Friendly Warm display area's along with a gift shop with attractive artistic items for purchase.

I've been wanting to visit the Carnegie Art Center for months. After finally getting a chance to view exhibits there this past week, I was amazed at the wonderful quality of visual art the three exhibited artists shared. Truly amazing work. I wish I could find time to volunteer here so that open hours may be a wider range to share the experience more!

The art exhibit here was cool! It was free to get in, and you can also purchase some of the art on display. I give it four stars because it was a little on the smaller end. But that doesn't mean it's not worth a visit!

The Geraldine Tostenson exhibit was magnificent. Once in a lifetime opportunity to witness this master's work

At nearby frentz art center area poets club monthly potluck and meeting, less than ten present. Good company, sharing, treats, coffee crock pot selections, etc. Panel pleasant but discussion not memorable. Room was chilly and am still wary of loose handrails outside. Parking lot compacted, turning to ice. Happy to see art exhibition still on display. One member brought interesting book containing numerous side by side comparison translations of poems through ages. Bitter Feb still reigns outside but plenty of Sat activities in town. Kids poetry session unattended. As for the "kaleidoscope" exhibition at Carnegie, lots of glass and quilts. In and out visit I would rate well below usual quality.

Some of the art was dark, some may say offensive but the majority of the work was wonderful and well thought out. I would definitely recommend you see and be your own judge..

Read the books and go visit this most adorable museum consisting of two houses of two main characters in the book series. It is so worth it! Great staff, wonderful tour!

If you enjoyed the Betsy-Tacy books, you will enjoy the tour of the house that Maud Hart Lovelace grew up in. The tour guide was very informative.

Umm residents that I came with was not HC accessible just one house that it I felt bad for the walkers cant get around much But for me I enjoyed it. It was fun to see the children liking it too.

I think they are open mostly by appointment. But, our scheduled private tour was very interesting due to the slice of life from the late 19th century they have curated. Fans of Maud Hart Lovelace's Betsy-Tracy books will be thrilled with the artifacts and beautifully restored homes of the eponymous characters.

I finally got to visit Betsy and Tacy’s house last month, and it was better than I could have imagined! Their hours are a little restricted, so I did the private tour, which was a very affordable $35. That let us see both houses, the gift shop, all the memorabilia, and included a tour guide who was amazing. She showed us around for a full 90 minutes and had so many amazing stories. She’s actually met Maud Hart Lovelace! I’m so thankful these houses were restored and preserve the setting from these iconic children’s books.

I visited here in August of 2018. I have never read the books, nor do I know much of the history associated with the books and the city of Mankato (My girlfriend has been a life long fan of the author and books). However, I must say that that the tour of the houses were very informative and very interesting. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made every attempt to convey the differences between life back then and modern life today. The tour itself was about an hour long, covers both houses, and only costs $5.00. There's additional areas of interest nearby that provide context to some of the stories. Some places are simple places near the homes, some are memorials at nearby parks, another is library, and there's plenty of artwork through the city that ate definitely worth a stop. Overall, I am very impressed with the Betsy-Tacy Society and their enthusiasm, their humor, and passion for preserving history and it's accuracy. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

If you haven't been here in a bit, they have a new display. I think my favorites are the Mankato Brewery mechanical drawings and the old Sears catalog you can look through. The superheterodyne radio was top though.

This place is, hands down, without a doubt or half a moment's hesitation, the veritable Hope Diamond atop Mankato's shining diadem of hidden gems. Someday I hope to be able to afford admission to the bigger permanent exhibition hall upstairs. But even the temporary free admission exhibits downstairs are enough to make a visit well worth anybody's time who feels anything like a semblance of actually belonging to this place: Blue Earth County, in the US State of Minnesota, at the outer, southern bank of the slow (if not quite lazy) Minnesota River just downstream from its confluence with the faster and more turbulent Blue Earth River, where the two rivers conjoined into one flow Northward toward St Peter (intended to be Minnesota's Capitol before St Paul was chosen, instead) on the North American Continent just like the Rhine does at Köln on the European Subcontinent.

They have great displays and shoe you all about how the main street in Mankato used to look like. They did an excellent job with telling the history of the area. I enjoyed the minature model of the area and finding different things in it. I would recommend going if you are interested in learning about the history of Mankato. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They answered questions that I had.

Very nice display of Merian Anderson prints. She was a special person of whom I got to know in past years and I have many of her artist prints.

Enjoyed the art displays very worth the admission. We'll done.

This was a worthy tour. The house has been staged/preserved to the 1904 timeline when it was completely renovated. Our tour guide could have been a bit more knowledgeable, but she did fine, maybe was relatively new.

A history to learn around mankato. Ask how the person died and whats the story behind it. A beautiful old place still looks so good.

This tour was phenomenal! Our guide (Trevor) was so knowledgeable, and the fun facts he provided about the house were unique and interesting. It was completely worth the $7 entry fee. Definitely exceeded our expectations. If you’re a history buff, you won’t regret visiting!!

Unfortunately we were not able to get in. We went on a Thursday afternoon and they were closed. Parking was difficult to find. Be sure to check the website for the hours of operation because I think it's only weekends or by appointment. Outside of the house was gorgeous and there were several landscapers working when we stopped. Grounds are very pretty too...set in a residential neighborhood.

One of the best tours I have ever been on. The staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable. They asked us great questions and made you think. I learned a lot from the tour. I highly suggest going to visit this if you are in the area!

This place happens to be a downtown arts center in a beautiful old church. My most recent visit was to poetry club meeting lumped into a recent review of gallery in nearby former Carnegie library.

So glad we have a local symphony orchestra that's top notch!

I don't like it

It’s free and fun for the whole family. You just have to give a donation. You either walk around or drive through. There’s plenty of parking in the park. Bundle up if you plan to walk around because it can get really cold and you wouldn’t be able to enjoy or finish your stroll. The lights are beautiful. There’s a train ride which is fun for all ages. The details of the decorations is great except for the lights hanging on trees is kind of messy and doesn’t seem to complement the whole scenario. But overall, it’s wonderful!

Tremendous light show, simple but very well done; and included displays from many organizations. And all for a donation - bravo! A must see during the Christmas holiday season.

Free admission. Lights. Playground. Bathrooms (long wait). Earming house with concession. Family fun. My teenagers loved the workout area.

I have been involved with TRCA for 8 years. They truly understand the value that Art offers the world. It is an immaculately run organization that works to support artists. In this time of self-centered greed, an unselfish place of love and understanding is paramount to the betterment of society.

Twin rivers is a non profit that supports the local arts. One can apply for grants here. There is a space dedicated for artists exhibitions. The office for Mankato Symphony are even in this building.

Great events. Supportive of an awesome art community.

Beautiful wooded setting and gorgeous covered patio that overlooks the vineyard. Very scenic.. The wines show professional winemaking ability. Staff is very friendly. The wines seem to have a similar sweet/dry scale. My friend and I got two flights so we tried all but one of the wines. There are cheeses, local salami, and snacking mixes available. No on site kitchen. Wonderful restrooms. You can really tell it's family owned.

Wines are delicious and well made. Beautiful scenery and great Sunday music. Worth the trip from TC.

My family loves to spend time on the patio (Such a beautiful setting!) We enjoy the live music and events they host during the summer. Best part is the warm, welcoming staff!

Had an amazing time! Our tasting started us off. We chose the Frontenac to have with the cheese we brought. The deck was wonderful and the view was even better. Don't forget the host Charlie...he's a dog BTW.

I had to taste the the whites I had in order to discern any difference. My pallet was wanting a variety since semi dry is not the only type I enjoy. Javens, you have shown your ability to make real wine from real grapes. Venture out of the semi dry into the realm towards dry and sweet to appeal to more customers.

I love going here for so many reasons. Such a great family, and a very personal experience. The best wines in the area, plus a family atmosphere. Yes, there are other wineries in the area, but they can be snobby and have rude staff (not mentioning names) or the wines are too fruity and have a bland experience (not mentioning names). Javen's is the ideal place in every way. My personal favorite is frontinac red, while my wife prefers new traditions. Javen's has grown beyond the competition through determination and strong moral convictions. I love the wines and admire this family run business for there perserverence and dedication to quality while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

I Love, Love this Winery. It's very close to where I grew up so whenever I go to Javens Family Vineyard & Winery I am sure to run into old neighbors, friends and family. The wine is spectacular. My favorite is the Four Vines. The winery itself is tucked in at the bottom of a beautiful scenic river valley near the Le Sueur River. I highly recommend this place for relaxing with friends and enjoying some Minnesota's finest wine.

Just opened this summer They have a very nice selection of wines from dry reds to sweet white wines

Grand stand seating is tight and the fold out stadium seats are uncomfortable. I'd rather sit on a wood bench. The Northwoods league is great baseball though.

Wonderful view from the CB Ledger Lounge. Hospitality was outstanding. Easy parking and huge overflow parking lot only 1 block from main gate. Professional league baseball at home town prices.

I love watching my oldest son play at ISG field. I am praying that the Bethany Baseball team has another Amazing season! Can't wait to be there to support them. 🙏

Great ball park! The stands are positioned so you have shade from the late afternoon sun. Parking is very close and easy.
