Beautiful trails with art all along the way. The Narcissus balls are mesmerizing. They reflect the sun and the clouds and the other balls with their reflections and on a windy day with high cirrus clouds it's like watching a movie. It changes and the changes as well. There are so many fun and whimsical pieces of art that the walk is a true treat. My favorite portrait in the gallery was Kindred Spirits. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the restaurant is well placed at the end of the gallery. All of the docents are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend, especially the trails.

A wonderful experience. The museum is really good and the temporary exposition of Diego Rivera is worthy. The trails are by far the best thing about it, you can walk around 3 - 4 miles in the forest and watching some curious sculptures, and if you have a bike you can go down special trails for them which looked thrilling

All respect to the Louvre and the British Museum, but this is the best museum I've ever visited. It has huge exhibit space with excellent permanent and temporary exhibits, miles of walking & biking trails, drop-in creative spaces for kids and adults, even live opera performances in random galleries. And Listening Forest was enthralling. I went through the whole thing 4 1/2 times.

This is a beautiful art museum. I love the outside walkway with the art pieces lining the path. This is where the Frank Lloyd Wright building is located. The giant sphere is really pretty as well. The skylight in the lobby is gorgeous and so is the ceiling by the restaurant. The building itself is massive and surreal. It's really neat to look at the building from the 4th floor glass patio. I didn't realize how big this museum was. We didn't have enough time to see all of it so, we will have to go back when we come back to Arkansas.

This place is amazing! An incredible collection of American art. And incredibly it’s free (except for certain exhibits). Definitely one of the best art museums in the country. The architecture of the place is worth seeing as well. I highly recommend waiting to see the Kusama infinity room. It’s an incredible piece of art and was the highlight of my visit. Almost decided not wait but so glad I did!

A lovely way to spend several hours. I was fortunate enough to visit when school had started so the galleries were not overcrowded. The buildings and surroundings are almost as wonderful as the art contained inside. Lots of staff to answer questions. Was able to get tickets to the Frank Loyd Wright house so I took that self-guided tour. South Stopped for a glass of wine in the restaurant and enjoyed the music at happy hour in beautiful surroundings. As I was leaving I noticed many locals out taking advantage of the many trails and walking areas around the museum. Could not be better!

Took my family there on quick educational get away. My oldest had written an essay about this place for school which prompted us to check it out. Well it did not disappoint. There were a lot of exhibits to tour and learn about. This is a big place so be prepared to do a lot of walking. Even still, it is worth the travel.

Nice place especially if you appreciate art! I'm more of a nature type of person and the hiking paths was more my style. The building and water surrounding was beautiful! Also it's the best price, free (some things you can pay for)!

It was fun to just go in and see different artists work. For one of the areas that I went through, in American history, there was landscape paintings. Those art pieces brought peace to me and took me to this state of mind that I was there in the moment watching this scene right in front of me. Once I moved towards modern art it definitely gave me new perspectives towards life. Definitely recommended this museum for those interested in both historic and modern arts.

I am a huge fan of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. I live locally, so I am blessed enough to check out the museum a few times per year. It is definitely at the top of my list for places to bring visiting family and friends. The trails around the museum are great for walking, biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoor art. The inside is equally interesting, especially because they are always moving things around and featuring new pieces. You never step into the same museum when you go to Crystal Bridges, because the art is a living thing that they don't stick in a spot to be forgotten or glossed over. Some pieces, naturally, are the foundation of their collection, but because everything around changes it is exciting and makes you look at the art in a new way. On a lighter note, you may even be inspired, as were my out of state friend and I, to try a new hairdo! Get out, have fun, and spend a day or two exploring this really special spot in Northwest Arkansas. Another major bonus? The museum has free admission so you can save your money for their restaurant or coffee bar on the main floor! Yum!

Enjoyed the museum a lot. When in the area again, I will visit. I would like to see more of the outside sculptures next time. Hopefully I will have a electric wheelchair so I can get around easier. I could only manage a small area but got some nice photos. The inside had so much to see you can't absorb it all in one visit.

I can't believe there would be a better venue for exhibiting artwork in the U.S. Just an amazing facility and grounds; well designed and maintained. There is an impressively wide collection of works that change and rotate on a regular basis. This recent trip was my second (the first was within a few years of opening), and I look forward to returning after renovations are completed in a few more years.

This is a world class museum. The structures themselves are architectural marvels laid into the landscape in brilliant and unique ways. Even the freaking dam underneath is innovative (take the free tour). On top of that the free collections that you can just go see anytime are fantastic and varied. There's a lot to walk around for or just sit and get comfortable. I haven't even gone to a pay exhibit yet, but will in the future. I can't really understand someone not visiting if they are anywhere in NW Arkansas. It's worth the trip, multiple times and people in the wider region should be taking advantage too.

The museum itself could be an amazing experience if you were not stared down by staff making sure you are wearing a mask. The coffee bistro is super cute. They had simple syrup! One of the employees his name was Kurt and he was cold and almost rude. I asked him if he thought the coffee was good,.he said, I can try it, if I don't like it I can get my money back. He said everyone has their opinion. That was not what I wanted to hear about the coffee from it's seller. His counterpart, she was so nice. We walked from one end to the other just to be told we couldn't take our coffee.onto the art museum part, and the outside viewing areas we not open. It was a disappointing trip for sure. Nothing could be shown there that would encourage me to go back.

I have been to Crystal Bridges about 10 times since it has opened. I have also been a member and gone to events there. Never had anything less than a stellar experience. The staff is great, the facilities modern and accessible. The main galleries always hold something new and the outdoor exhibits are magical. The museum is free but the paid installations are usually the best thing going on. Favorite visits lately include the Listening Forest & Diego Rivera.

We spent about 2-3 hours here and didn't even dent all that is to discover & explore at this amazing museum! The awesome art to see starts outside with the shining tree and the overall amazing architecture of the entire facility inside & the exterior grounds which was so well thought out & designed. Though this a museum of American art, I consider it a world class museum that is well worth any drive from any part of the USA! Absolutely Splendid!!

Crystal Bridges is a top notch museum located in Bentonville, Arkansas. Admission is always free for the main art galleries and they are definitely very interesting and thought provoking. I spent about 2 hours going through the museum at a quick pace, but you can spend more or less time depending on how much you stop to appreciate and read about the art. They do seem to have special events and they started a new live singer series - which was incredible!

Our girls loved it. Although I absolutely love the art, it was a nice day to be outside so we focused more on them. We will def go back there is still so much that we didn't get to see. Also, they were having a wedding.. and it was absolutely stunning! Got a glimpse of the bride as well, and she was very beautiful and elegant! Congrats! If you see this!

Oh my, I already want to go back next time I’m in the area! This place is hugge, inside and outside. So many exhibits and things to see here, could easily be here for 4-5 hrs at a time! General admission is free, you have to purchase tickets to view the current exhibition. I love that it is right in the middle of the “forest” with trails and greenery that you can see from inside while exploring the museum! Simply amazing ! Something for all ages as well ! Restaurant and cafe on premises, also saw some ppl eating a packed lunch in the dining area!

Great museum, wonderful painting collection. Beautiful trails. Free admission. Free parking lot. There were a few temporary exhibitions that it had a charge. Nice and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back.

Crystal Bridges is a perfect place to spend a winter day. Free admission. Nestled in the Ozark Mountains with trails all around. Went on a spontaneous trip for my brother’s birthday. The Human 1 exhibit and all types of unique art and culture spread around. Found parking on the bottom level stayed around 2-3 hours and enjoyed this wonderful Art Museum.

Went to see the Exquisite Creatures special exhibit and it was incredible! The museum staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the art is a lot of fun to wander around looking at and reading about. Can't wait to see what the expansion will look like later on!

Very nice museum with decent parking. Get their 20 minutes before opening if you want upper parking near the entrance and tickets to the Wright house. Great exhibits but is under construction for twice as much space. General admission is free but some events are paid tickets.

Wow for free!! I was sure what I'd find but this was a great stop, LOTS of walking required especially if you're going to checkout all of the exterior art in the park. Fun for the whole family with outdoor chess, checkers, and bag toss. Coffee shop with treats and gift shop full of art and books.

We had not been to this facility before. Only heard about it. The entire facility was simply amazing. The engineering to develop each building was a site to see. The walking paths were well planned and accented by sculptures. We especially enjoyed the Frank Lloyd Wright home. Inside the buildings the art collection rivaled anything you would see elsewhere in the US. The quality and variety along with the quantity makes this simply a must see. Staff was extremely helpful whenever we needed direction or explanation. This place is a must see for everyone. The Walton family deserves a huge thanks for sharing their resources with the world!

Amazing art museum with free general admission thanks to Walmart. We paid for the extra temporary Exquisite Creatures exhibit and it was incredible. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we will absolutely be back to see what new pieces they bring in. If your intown do not miss this gem of a museum.

This place more than exceeded our expectations! The Walton family has done so much for the community and Crystal Bridges is no exception. The displays of art were beautiful, the space well-decorated and inviting and the staff so friendly. For a free museum, it was so impressive. Beautiful, open spaces with windows, great for kids and adults alike! Thank you Alice Walton for your creative genius in bringing this to Bentonville!

Great experience, your able to learn the history of Wal-Mart and see how Sam Walton involved the company through out the years, and see Sam Waltons life story. The admission is free, and you get to create your own bee.

What an interesting place to see the first store and learn the history of Sam Walton and Walmart! The museum staff, Lisa and Barb were the most bubbly museum tour guides you could possibly imagine! They were dressed in hula skirts for the 40th anniversary of Sam dancing a hula on Wall Street and the ladies had everyone participating in the Walmart cheer! Fun stuff! Walmart stores and office buildings all over Bentonville, AR. The original, on a small street corner is under a big renovation, but took a photo anyway and we stopped at a very huge store in town and picked up a couple things.

It was interesting to see some history and highlights of the Walmart story but this was not much of a museum. I was a little disappointed. I recommend seeing it for yourself though.

Disappointed that the actual museum was not back open yet. The 'heritage lab" was underwhelming. We made the most of it and at least saw the original location.

Although this place is small, but packed with info. It displays the history of Walmart and sam’s club. Me. Sam Walton attitude of how he see things. It’s a free tour. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is currently under construction, so they moved it to down the street and fit everything in one room. If you have half and hour to spare, you should stop by. And the town is very cute to walk around too.

Neat museum! Worth going inside when you are in town to check out Walton's 5-10. Its free and has some neat artifacts from the early days of Walmart and Sam's Club. One thing that amazed me was the digital display showing the new Walmart's added each year since its beginning.

Interesting whether you shop at Walmart or not. Walmart is a brand you commonly see all over America, but I didn't know the details this museum offered. As you might expect, the exhibits are glowing and celebratory of their founder Sam Walton, including his office preserved behind glass, his pickup truck, and his wife's wedding dress. No matter how you feel about Walmart, seeing the full timeline from it's founder's birth to the present is a fascinating story of innovation, business, branding, and extraordinary success. There are surprises and nostalgia as you learn about Walmart trying to compete and keep up with changing times. Try some Grapette soda! Please note: The 5 & 10 storefront is the entrance to the museum. Inside the door you will find the gift shop and ticket desk.

Such a great informative museum!! My step-dad has worked for Sam's club for over 20 years and he enjoyed it! Their first time in Arkansas and I couldn't not take them to this cute museum!!

Visited the temporary location today. It was a nostalgic journey in time. Walmart is truly an iconic American establishment. Very cool!

The WalMart Museum is under renovation, it might take a year or so. But two blocks down the street, there is the Walmart Lab, a good size and interesting exhibition about this empire.

The location on this main street is already closed for renovation until 2024. Please visit the new temporary museum few blocks away until renovation. Expected to open by mid of 2024

A very interesting museum! The story began with the denial of lease renewal to the founder, to running a nationwide business and how humble he was attributing his success to his employees. It goes without saying that stories of 'Karens of the era' are equally intriguing. It is also fun to appreciate the products of the time. I was there in summertime when the cafe was selling a honey ice-cream.

Went there over Spring break! Absolutely enjoyed their hospitality! The front check in lady and guy were awesome! And the museum was definitely worth visiting! I felt so inspired to follow my dreams like Sam Walton!

While in town for the weekend visiting family we discovered this museum existed. We were not disappointed. The old town square where it is located is well maintained and the museum is curated nicely. Lot's to see! Worth the visit, especially since it is free. Our family most enjoyed the ice cream in the parlor and I enjoyed that the total cost for seven of us was only $10!

This place was very thoroughly stocked in artifacts of this region, and an extensive collections of sharpened tool points. We appreciated the hand held audio guides and short videos throughout. My kids 13 and 11 held interest for 1 and 1/2 hrs. We would have liked to learn more about present day (more recent) indigenous journeys and lifestyles. Specifically, the art on the stickers at the gift shop was very cool, and thought provoking with it’s comments. There’s clearly stories there. Also some hands on projects of napping or weaving or beading would have been fun in the big room. The facial shadow activity was very interesting! The staff was welcoming and gave some fun tips for finding arrowheads in the parking lot.

I enjoyed this place quite a bit, but I went with a group who had a few experienced in Native American History (free tour guides 😆). The museum had plenty to see and read about prehistory up to removal times, and a gift shop that contained current art and literature by and about Native American's. There was a few things for the children to do, like hunting for arrow heads, and an event area to do activities at give times. Contact for upcoming dates. They didn't charge an entry fee so it seemed fair to get a thing or two from the gift shop. Also there is a library inside that they were in the process of sorting, out at the time of my post, that can be used by students or whomever to research and study.

Whatever you have planned don’t miss this museum. It is absolutely amazing. We stayed for 2.5 hours and it flew by. There is an audio device for over 100 of the exhibits to enhance your visual experience. If you enjoy museums, this is a world class visit start to finish.

This place was impressive. The layout and displays were so well done, complete with individual handsets, to listen to specific information. They even had a gift shop! We loved it.

This Museum is a must see! A most exquisite and priceless collection of arrowheads, tools, pottery, clothing, headresses, photographs, and more. Allow yourself plenty of time to really dive into this collection and it's historical content. Obviously this was very well planned and executed through the pristine display of every item. Great for all ages to enjoy. The museum has free entrance, gift shop and clean restrooms. I would love to visit again when in the area. This small museum offers free audio phones for the exhibit. Many artifacts are presented, from numerous tribal nations, as well as various periods in indigenous histories in the Americas. Some of the artifacts are especially impressive, such as the clothing Native Americans sometimes fashioned from blankets and beads secured through trading with Europeans. People surprise me when they say they have never heard of this place. It’s free and they have AMAZING artifacts from all time periods. You also get to find an arrowhead in the rocks out front. The kids love that. The people that work there are very nice and knowledgeable, it’s got to take bigs and littles. I’ve enjoyed coming here the past 5 years and seeing what the kids have picked up on. They are learning more than you know. There is something for everyone. Enjoy! Don’t forget the gift shop! Admission is free so don’t leave without a souvenir.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Museum of Native American History. I didn't get to stay as long as I wanted to, but I will absolutely go back. There were so many items and the artistry is just amazing! I recommend this museum highly! Kids would love it, especially hunting for arrowheads outside. The gift shop is adorable with lots of stunning jewelry and fun little items. I had a great time and learned so much!

So much to see and very exciting to learn about my roots and other tribes. I ran into staff who were also native and we talked for a bit. The exhibits are amazing and give you big insights on how the native people lived around the country for thousands of years.

A great place to bring out of town guests! Employees were very nice and knowledgeable about the exhibits. A superb way to learn about native Americans and how they lived throughout history. Highly recommend the "arrowhead search" outside. We had an awesome time looking amongst the rocks and tepee for these treasures. Fifty cents each for each one you find. Nice little gift shop as well. Admission is free. Recommend!

VERY surprised at this wonderful museum. The fact that this place is free is amazing. Every single step you take is full of stories, images, artifacts, information, and videos. The size on the outside is incredibly deceiving. The audio self guided tour took us around 2 hours. So grateful this is here! Can’t believe it took us this long to visit. We look forward to bringing our out of town visitors soon. The only “downside” is how crowded our visit on the weekend was. Some times it was difficult to fully see artifacts in the glass because of the small areas being shoulder to shoulder at some points. It would have been much more enjoyable if we came during a weekday, we believe. But that doesn’t change the fact the experience was great overall.

There was so much to learn about the native American history over the years. Some of the original stone tools were just amazing to see. Do get the Audio narration device to listen about the various artifacts.

I didn’t realize what a gem of a museum this was until a week ago! Not only is there so much to learn but you get to dig for arrow heads outside! The kids loved it! We will be back!

Alittle West of I-49, just passed downtown Bentonville AR. What a great Native American History Museum to visit with a lot of local artifacts along with artifacts from around the world. Now they have a audio listening device you can take along with you as you walk through all the exhibits, punch in the numbers and hear more about what you’re looking at and skip over the ones you don’t. I highly recommend visiting this place as you’re in NWA, Bentonville Arkansas area.

Wonderful museum with excellent self paced information devices. Beautiful exhibits, balance of well known and other artists. Impeccably maintained and displayed. I could have stayed all day. Thanks for such a special experience.

Visited the Christmas Spirit on the Bentonville Square! It’s illuminated through New Years Eve and it's free. We loved it. Wonderful display with family fun.

Very nice downtown. Beautiful park in the center of town. Plenty of restaurants and stores. Open market today with tons of vendors. Many local artists and home grown items

Perfect place to spend a Saturday morning. Went for the farmers market. It wasn’t hard to find parking. Several options around the square. Felt safe walking as their were so many bikers and other walkers that cars weren’t much of an issue. It’s so pretty and is a fun place to sit and watch all that’s going on around. The farmers market was amazing and had a good variety between fresh produce, craft and home good venders, artists and food trucks. Really something for everyone. And that is all without mentioning the shops around the square!

Fun little town square surrounded by restaurants and boutique style shops. During the holidays there are Christmas lights and decorations, ice skating and horse carriage rides.

Most colorful location to visit in Arkansas during Christmas/Holiday timing. The pictures dont do justice and you have to experience while being there. Lot of food trucks,cafe are open in evening and the place is lively. Kids and family will have good time while being in here. Have an awesome visit.

I was able to take my son for the very first time to see the lighting of the Christmas lights. WOW is about all I can say. Everyone there was in a festive mood and tons of families enjoying what seemed like a million or more lights. I highly recommend it if you get a chance. It's a great way to kick off the holiday season for the entire family.

I go for BIG Sugar/gravel biking. The area is absolutely gorgeous and clean even with a big event in the square.. If u like bikes or MTB u will love this little area. Lots of different food options and cool museums as well. As far as I know it's dog friendly, I saw lots of folks with their dogs at the event.

Sad that they removed the historical statue, since, as George Santayana stated, "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." But, the new flower features around the fountain are gorgeous. The ice cream shop is closed, as is the Walmart museum, but there is a Spark Cafe food truck selling ice cream. The bands playing sound great and the atmosphere is friendly. Lovely area worth visiting.

I love Bentonville City square. There are always lots of people out. It's a great atmosphere with lots of great energy. We visited the farmer's market Saturday morning and came back for dinner that evening.

It's a small beautiful place. Very nice restaurants around this area. The library and wallmart museum is walkable distance. Very good cycle stores are near to this place but a little expensive. Ice cream cart is always there at bentonville City Square. Parking is free around this area.

The city puts considerable effort into bringing the square to life with regular events and maintaining it thru the season.

A cherry on top in NWA region. A sweet city centre area for a perfect family outing in good weathers. There are benches to rest, tons of shops and eateries surrounding. Weekends are usually packed with people, kids, dogs, live music and many more. I love Saturday morning farmers market here. Overall a nice place to visit if you are around.

We had an amazing time!!! We came on a Wednesday and got free admission which was super cool for such a well rounded experience! We could have spent days here. What a unique family experience! There is something for EVERY age! This is the place you want to visit in Bentonville AR.

This place is magical and worth every penny. Our group consisted of 3 - 12 years and they all found something they enjoyed. We are from KC and this rivals Science City and Wonderscope. Glad we visited, listened to the reviews and enjoyed this delightful place. Would recommend saving some money and reserving tickets ahead of time.

This is a great place to go to with the kids for a few hours. We got the yearly pass and it seemed like it would be worth it if you came at least 3 times. The staff are friendly and the premises are clean. Some of the exhibits are for older kids but our daughter loves playing on the outdoor play area and just walking around.

If you are visiting Northwest Arkansas, this is a 100% must-visit stop! The Amazeum continues to be one of the best children's museums in the country.There are always new exhibits, the staff are engaging, and it was easy for our kids (4 and 7 years old) to spend five or six hours without ever getting bored. If you're a member of another museum, check to see if you can get a discount or free admission to the Amazeum. We were able to get free admission and also show up at the member hour (9a) because of our memberships to the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock and the Mid-America Museum in Hot Springs. There are memberships all over the country that are affiliated with the Amazeum. Have a great time!

Seriously perfect place for kids! We started to go here since my son was 9 months old and I feel like he is finally getting to enjoy. (He's almost 3 now) For toddlers, they have under 2 zone which is a huge plus. Staffs are always nice and welcoming.

We have been to several children's museums with our kids, and I think the Amazeum is the best we have seen. It had a wide variety of activities that were interactive and educational in nature. The Hershey chocolate lab was entertaining and taught children about how chocolate is made and the various senses. I think this was a standout museum and should be used as a model for other children's museums as they think about what can be accomplished.

We had a lot fun as a family in this place. It offers assorted activities for curios and active minds. There are activities for all ages and fun for everyone. My toddler had a blast with the water section of the park. We will definitely go back to this park if we ever visit Arkansas again.

Highly recommend this place for kids of all ages. I was afraid my youngest would have nothing to do while his big brothers played, but there was plenty for him. And they have a little area next to the toddler area for nursing moms with a rocking chair, sink, and plug in if you happen to be an exclusive pumper. Thank you for thinking of us Amazeum! Side note: the Cafe doesn't sell snacks currently, but your can still bring food and sit at the tables.

One of the best place in Bentonville to visit with your kid. Yo enter here you have to accompany your kid , without kids no entry so make sure you are entering here with kids, we tried once but told that to enter we must have a kid with us. Awesome experience with our kid, he loves the place too much. They do have different activities for all the age groups and they also have some events going on on weekends as well as weekdays A must go place if you are visiting Bentonville.

Wednesday priceless nights. I brought my daughter to celebrate her birthday a few days early. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to return.

Kids love this place. Lots of different fun things to do. Nice play area outside as well. I love that some of the exhibits change so there is always something fun and new to do. My kids favorite part currently is the pretend grocery store.

There is so much to see & interact with. I brought my 9 yo & my 2 yo nephew & both stayed occupied and could stay longer. Bathrooms were clean & seemed like a great place to bring the kids for a low admission fee. We stopped at the gift store which had gift options for all ages

An excellent fun and educational place to keep kids busy for hours and hours. The exhibits were all very interactive and fun. I would think free Wednesday evenings are a great gift to the kids.

It was a fun place for young and old! We all learned something! The paper airplane launcher was a lot of fun. As a retired teacher I would have loved this in my science class. It takes out the variables of how you launch a paper airplane. With this device you can really compare distances without biases.

This is a neat place to take your kids. Mine were a little too old for a lot of the activities. It seems to be perfect for 7 and inner though. And not bad for only 12 bucks to get in. Gift shop was soooo expensive. It was a clean friendly environment.

Great rooms, restaurant, showers, and rooms are spacious. Great concept to have a museum and hotel in the same business. Parking was easy to find and plentiful as well. Outside of the bellhop opening the door for you, I wouldn't say any experience with the staff was great however not negative at the same time. The penguins and the beds(super comfy) were the highlights for sure.

I was very excited to visit 21C and couldn't have been more disappointed. Upon checking into my room, I couldn't believe the flickering and ultra-bright fluorescent lights. Aside from the mattress, everything else reflected a Walmart-like town and "Made in China" type of finishings. Little details like dripping faucets and terrible-stale snacks being delivered to my room constantly reminded me of mediocre consistency. The accommodations I am accustomed to in comparison to 21C were polarizing when you evaluate the prices being collected. Before coming here, I stayed at the Conrad in Tokyo, and after leaving here, I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Atlanta, which are two very nice Hilton franchised hotel brand. The 21C is over $400.00 USD a night, and inside the room, I would have had greater satisfaction staying in a modern La Quinta; I would even believe the care put into a middle-grade Flag hotel would have been more careful and attentive. I was so dissatisfied I asked to check out early and was told by management they would charge me for half a day since I did not provide 24-hour notice, even though my discontent was apparent. My concerns were dismissed with arrogance, and the 21C staff proceeded to the staff revering to the hotel as some sort of exclusive Ritz-Carlton-like, St. Regis, or Four Seasons-type hotel. In my opinion, the 21C could be the furniture aisle number in Walmart. From check-in, the ultra-impersonal masked woman set the tone for the staff. The door and valet guys couldn't be any more unhappy to open a door and didn't know how to give a proper greeting of the day that you would expect with any customs and courtesies or "manners." It didn't end at check-out, the front desk agent and manager patronized me about being "sorry" about my stay, leaving a day early, and insisting on charging me when I explicitly made it clear I was leaving "extremely" unhappy with my stay. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and traveled to over 70 countries, putting this hotel in my top 10 worst favorites. Topping the cake at check-out, the manager on duty practically antagonized me to write a bad review, and then implied she would resell my room after I left. If I said this hotel was a flop, it would be extending the politeness I was never offered at 21C. I give 1 star for the perfect location. You can deduct 1 star for the room finishing, deduct another star 1 for the service, and 1 more star for the cost. I would probably give this place a 2.5/5 rating and will be courteous enough to round up. If I had a time machine I would regret less flushing the money spent here down the toilet. If you are uncertain about staying here, book a room for 1 night, and then extend later if you are content. I would hate for anyone to relive my experience at the 21C and hope that never happens again.

I made a reservation to see an exhibit at Crystal Bridges and just felt this was the place to stay. Art heals. I wasn't disappointed. Unaware of the tree lighting ceremony near there, and not wanting a bunch of commotion, I was a little concerned. It was great though, really. See you again. I think it is mostly because there is no riff-raff, quiet, and done right. Thank you!

I was not aware of this brand of hotels before coming to Bentonville. After my stay here I will continue to seek out this brand. Love the penguins lurking around. Our room was super comfy and the staff was helpful. We also ate at the Hive and had a delicious cocktail and meal.

We had a wonderful waiter by the name of Jefferson! He was the very kind very knowledgeable and such a spirit. I will always remember him. The artwork is worth just going to see in The Hive. Such painstaking work that you must see! Thank you!!!

Your hotel has a big problem .Just waned to warn guests . I understand your position { which is very unpleasant } . To deny situation - good luck with that . But please don't lie -- I have about 20 bites , mostly on torso and actually lifted the shirt to snow to the clerk them . She did not leave the counter to count or to look closely. Please educate yourself and exterminator about bed bugs -- where they hide , when come out and mostly - how difficult to get rid of them . The review was the first in my long life , if I don't like something ,simple - don't go back . Only one reason = I don't want other guests experience the same . Only reason.

Big rooms. Big bathroom. Big shower. Room temperature easily managed and didn't have the constant noise of the fan turning on and off which is experienced in a lot of hotels. Water was immediately hot, perhaps a bit too hot but just required a bit more cold. Very friendly staff. Room service daily with fresh towels and restocking coffee pods for the nespresso, water bottles etc. Bed remade. Full service bar and restaurant on site. And it is a museum so there is that too.

We haven’t even checked out and I have to leave a review! If you’re wondering if the price is worth it, it is! The beds are insanely comfortable-like as in I slept 12 hour last night/nap today (hey we drove from Michigan give me a break) 🤣 The tub/shower combo was very nice, there is a black light in the bathroom for night (maybe partying), the best shampoo and conditioner ever and robes! The other furnishings are nice and comfortable. The hotel is right in town and right by bike/hiking path, splash park, we walked to dinner and around town every day/night. Super easy convenient parking. I’m not super into art, but we did check it out late at night and the displays were really well done. Can’t forget the wandering penguins haha. Oh and the metal water canisters in the room-love them-been refilling downstairs at their water filling station! Would stay here again!!!

We stayed at the 21C for our all-company gathering. The location of the 21C is terrific - right on the Bentonville town square. The service was great - the front desk team quickly took care of whatever our events team needed. The hotel is unique and artsy.

We had a very comfortable stay, especially thanks to the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, all our questions/requests were answered quickly. The cleaning service was perfection, every time we came back to the room it felt brand new. Would stay again and would recommend.

Really enjoyed our recent stay at 21c! The art installed throughout was perfect prelude to our visits to Crystal Bridges nearby. Love the Malin + Goetz toiletries too. The staff was very helpful and attentive with local suggestions for restaurants, etc. The downtown square is just a few steps away with great coffee, food, and even a neighborhood Walmart if you forgot anything. The Hive was delicious though we were disappointed to find that there wouldn’t be room service until dinner during our stay.

What a great experience. The restaurant was great too, although the Beehive theme was just too literal for such a classy place, i.e. think rainforest cafe decor, where a less literal artistic version of the hive would have been nicer. The museum part of the hotel was outstanding, and the wandering penguins were so fun. I liked it better than the Crystal Bridges!!!

I visited the museum for a private event. The service was exceptional. I started in the bar/restaurant and even though it was a really busy night, I got my drinks pretty quickly. The bartender was helpful in offering up a drink selection. The catered food was tasty and the atmosphere was elegant.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. The rooms were spacious, modern and quiet. Nice artwork all around. Would definitely stay here again.

Went for dinner only...bday celebration. The Hive is lovely, the penguins are adorable. Interesting art throughout the lobby area and conference rooms. Food was excellent. Service was mediocre; manager apologized for it and comp't appetizers and bday girl's entree and desserts. That was very nice!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Hotel staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and just right. The lime penguin waiting to greet us in 213 was affectionately named “Samuel” and we may or may not have penguinnapped a hall penguin we named “Penelope” to keep him company. And the art…it’s such a delight. Everywhere you look, there’s something beautiful to behold. Highly recommend the 21c Museum Hotel to anyone visiting Bentonville.

I have to start off by admitting I did not stay here, but this is my second visit just for the atmosphere. They always have a huge and interesting collection of modern and kitschy art. I mentioned to my wife that this is such a novel idea, offering art as a way of inviting guests to linger longer on the grounds. If you are in Bentonville, plan a visit.

I was in Bentonville on business for one night and so glad I stayed at this hotel. It was clean and my room was super comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable and my only complaint was the pillows. Maybe not a complaint per se but my fault as I'm allergic to down and should have asked for other pillows. Every staff member I encountered was super nice and helpful. I love the fact that it's actually a museum and there is really cool artwork everywhere. And how many hotels have you visited where there is a big green penguin in the elevator?!? It was pretty neat! I was in town for less than 24 hours so not much time to explore after a long travel day but it looks to be situated in a great location close to restaurants and bars. I will definitely be staying here again and hope to do a little more exploring of the area while I'm there.

Even though Jenna was not our waitress she went above and beyond to take care of us. She had a great personality and was sweet to the core. Loved her and our experience.

We spent a fabulous three nights. Almost every part of our stay was outstanding. Our room was big, bright, comfortable and quiet. The art around the hotel is fun and fabulous. We enjoyed the fitness facility. The nightcap vouchers were a nice touch. The location is so perfect for visiting downtown and Crystal Bridges. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do.

Girls trip to Crystal Bridges was topped off by our 2 night stay at the 21c. Beautiful hotel with art positioned throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The whimsical penguins throughout were so much fun. Unfortunately, our dining experience at The Hive was less than impressive. Food was very disappointing. Dry wheat toast cut into squares, served with a very bland hummus was just the beginning of a sub-par meal. Given the quality of the hotel, I expected much better. Most employees were friendly. Encountered a couple of people that were a little stand offish but once again it was in the restaurant.

We went to Bentonville with a group of friends to see Sting in concert and to visit our son at college. It just happened that Crystal Bridges had the Annie Leibovitz photo exhibit going at the same time as we were there. When we checked into the 21c hotel, there was a long line full of people from a tour bus. The hotel staff was excellent and checked everyone in so quickly and efficiently. We loved our room and we love this hotel! The artwork never disappoints and the hotel bar is so much fun. Also, we were treated to a complimentary nightly tasting of Angels Envy bourbon, which we enjoyed while walking around and perusing the hotel's spectacular artwork. When I got home, I realized that I had forgotten my Kindle in the hotel room. Housekeeping staff had turned it in to Lost and Found and the hotel shipped it to my home when I called. Such a fabulous stay! 5 stars - we will be back often!

Former home of Rep. Samuel West Peel now a museum and garden. Well worth the visit if you're in Bentonville. The Peel home & Andy Lynch Log Cabin tours are free and the gardens are beautiful! Penny in the cabin is a very sweet welcoming lady. She has tons of information ready to share.

My family and I have visited Peel Mansion several times. It is beautiful at all seasons. We visited during the day and enjoyed all the flowers during the spring and summer. We just went to the Peel Mansion’s Open After Hours Christmas Event. It was gorgeous at night. They had outdoor lighting and the house decorated for Christmas. One of the highlights is the Christmas tree wrapping up the staircase. The historical home and gardens were beautiful lit up at night! There were free photos with Santa, and even a food truck, Crackerjack NWA as there! Not to be missed at any time of year, there are guided tours, or audio tours. There is handicapped parking available, there are wheelchair accessible paved trails around the gardens. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp into the mansion. There is no elevator to the upstairs floor as it is a historical building.

Super interesting local house. As a northerner I always find southern houses interesting. This was built after the Civil War but still has civil war stories from the original owners. The tour guide was informative and answered our questions. The gardens are well kept and a great photo opt.

This is a lovely garden. We came to the garden a few weeks early because most of the flowers haven't bloomed yet, but there were a few types of flowers in full bloom. They have a really cute gift shop with a wide variety of items.

We rented the Peel Museum for a "celebration of life" event. Kaylee and the rest of the staff were easy to work with and very responsive. From the initial phone call to the walk through to the day of the event, Kaylee was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rental price is fair, especially considering the beautiful grounds and convenient location. I definitely recommend this location for a worry-free event.

Peel Museum is a nice stop. We took the tour, which is free. It was a very interesting tour. I'm glad it is now a museum and maintained well.

Historic Mansion saved by Mrs Walton and the Walton Foundation. Authentically restored with Peel family photos, history and artifacts of the era. Exceptionally knowledgeable tour guides for free 30 minute tours available every half hour.

We enjoyed a tour of the house led by Lauren, who conveyed its history through stories about its occupants. The rooms are filled with period furniture, household items, clothing, toys, and even custom wallpaper to evoke a feeling for the lives of the original owners. It is a treasure of its time, allowing you to briefly forget the huge Walmart and parking lot adjacent to this property. Look inside the separate gift shop, too, which is a historic log cabin moved to this site.

We visited in early March when there wasn't a great deal blooming yet. The grounds looked well-kept, and I'm sure they're lovely in the growing season. Our main interest is in the outdoor spaces, and the tour was going to take a while, so we didn't go inside the mansion. The location is a little odd, being practically in the parking lot of the Walmart. At least there's plenty of parking! No one asked us for any money so we didn't pay anything. Stopped here while passing through town. Did not have time to take the tour but want to check it out when we are in the area again. I bet the botanical garden is beautiful when the flowers are in full bloom!

Had a lovely visit here. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount of local history I learned , while of course learning about the Peel family in the process. The tour guides were all very polite and knowledgeable and helped the tour be the best it could be. Plus, free admission is a perk. Whole tour took around 45 minutes.

Beautiful Garden. Very long tour. The garden was beautiful and I can imagine it is really fantastic in the summer. It was easy to get to it by bike which is a great bonus. However, the tour was superficially nice. I found it lacking depth being far too long for what it was. The tour took over an hour and provided cursory information about the grounds and the family. Reference was made to Peel being a confederate but no details. Similarly, reference was made multiple times to the buildings that would house the "help." Does this mean that the help was slaves and former slaves? I wouldn't know because the tour didn't provide any information. I didn't want to ask questions as the tour was already over an hour long. If this was a slave owner's house I think some acknowledgment and honesty around the topic would be great. If he wasn't a slave owner then clarifying it would be beneficial as well. Rather than focusing on making Peel seem like some great figure it would be best to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly. I think it would also be great to learn more about the Black man to whom Peel left some belongings when he passed. It kind of read like they were lovers but it was unclear. There were some signs up that you could take a self-guided audio tour but this was not given to us as an option, instead, we were told we could only enter the building with a tour guide. I would much prefer to do this so that we could enjoy at our own pace. As a final side note, I do think that the tour guide should be more careful with the way they describe the house when it was abandoned. Saying that "transients took it over" with such a negative tone is strange when the house was abandoned. Surely it is a good thing that the house was providing someone shelter when no one else was using it.

I had a great file visiting here! I am a huge fan of history so it was great to hear about the history and artifacts of the Peel family. The time guide was knowledgeable and friendly..beautiful garden and great museum with a variety of things go look at and explore!

Absolutely wonderful example of early 19th century home and lifestyle of the "Rich & Famous". My only grip is they don't allow you to view the Ice House. The tour guide had cute stories and personality. The house is absolutely beautiful and so glad Sam listened to his wife and didn't turn this home into a parking lot. I hope they are always able to save this older treasures and future legacy's are able to look back with fond memories.

Really neat exhibit. You can get free tickets by going online to Crystal Bridges Museum website, but make sure to book at least several hours before when you want to go, because the tickets will be unavailable if you wait until right before. You'll get an electronic device to guide you through the tour of the house. You'll be done in under 20 minutes... It's really neat and will help you develop a greater appreciation for Frank Lloyd Wright's design, as well as MCM architecture.

If I can give more than 5- star I would. This is one of a rare masterpiece from Frank Lloyd wright. It used to locates in New Jersey and they moved to this town. The house is beautiful. You can get free tickets online via their website, and it will come with self guided tour and audio. You can also pay to get a tour guide with limited tickets. If you in to art or architectural, you will enjoy this place.

Gorgeous little house! Need timed entry ticket from Crystal Bridges. It's free as a self-guided audio tour. You can upgrade to the guided tour for $12 which I don't recommend as the audio tour is very thorough and easy to navigate. There is a ramp but the doorways and corridors are VERY narrow since this is a historic home, so it's not really fully wheelchair friendly in my opinion.

So blown away and unexpected to find this here. We came to bentonville for the biking and we were blown away by the amount of art and culture. Getting a tour of this house was certainly a memorable experience. So much though went into every detail. So much connection to outside , but also some quiet disconnect in the hallways and bedroom.

We always enjoy Frank Lloyd Wright house tours. Not fancy by today's standards, but they blend nature into homes quite nicely. Free, but get a time slot as soon as you get to the Crystal Bridges Museum.

Interesting architecture right off the trail. It's easy to get to and the signs make it easy to find. If you're a Frank Lloyd Wright fan it's a great place to stop. There are tons of sculptures and things to interact with all around.

It’s an amazing place. However, you must reserve tickets in advance and you can’t touch anything; you can only stand. Additionally, no photographs are allowed of any kind. The audio recordings through the device they give you really help you to appreciate the architecture.

House, gardens and walking paths are part of the legacy of Dr. Neil Compton. Parking lot and grounds are easy to access.

This is a nice garden for walking with kids. Also available with bike trails that include ramps for dirt bikes. There were multiple art works along the way to help you enjoy the trails. We encountered 4 deers just nibbling leaves along the trail. And seemed like they are used to people, because they were not afraid of us at all. The trail were well maintained and clean. Parking are free and convenient.

Beautiful garden. Quiet little bird sanctuary with a nice area for prom or senior pics. Next to Slaughter Pen trail that leads to the Crystal Bridge's area. Pleasant staff.

Amazing venue. All my guests loved the authentic mid-century vibe of the structure and the lush grounds surrounding it. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating during a very rainy setup. Highly recommend!

Some of the trail are getting over grown, but it's nice.

Compton Gardens and Arboretum is a great place to walk or bike in downtown Bentonville. It is named after the man who helped save the Buffalo National River. The gardens have information about Compton's life and his fight for the river. They have a printed scavenger hunt, where visitors can look for important points throughout the gardens.

A haven right by the square. Nice shady walk with seating. Not too big, but opens to longer trails and to the Crystal Bridges Museum. Beautiful greens, bridges, hydrangeas, cone flowers, trees, etc with many labeled. Just an enjoyable area to visit and mosey through.

Our church used the facilities for our Christmas Eve service and had an amazing experience. The booking process was so simple and easy AND the representative hosting our event from Compton Gardens was helpful & amazing. I would highly recommend booking Compton Gardens for your next event.

Very beautiful area great for biking and hiking. Several mountain bike trails, biking trails, and hiking trails off the Razorback Green Way. Start in Downtown Bentonville at the Compton Gardens trail head then walk down to the art trail which leads to Crystal Bridges Museum.

Absolutely amazing place. The grounds are so beautiful and well managed. An inspirational view created by an amazing man and a family legacy that I hope stands to show the world visitors in the area just what the Ozarks can do to a person. As a man comfortable with the act of birthing, it's no wonder why he got along with Mother Nature so well. Save the Buffalo!

Our visit was not enjoyable. The museum closed early because of a wedding. None of the light exhibits were working. The evening show was canceled because of bad weather that happened and ended hours earlier. We asked an associate why the light exhibits weren't working, he didn't know, but thought maybe August or September. The whole place has construction so perhaps that was the reason? Finally, some signs said the place closed at sunset, but the shuttle driver explained the shuttle would run until 10:30. Whole place very unorganized.

I love sitting here at night and watching the colors change. It's relaxing. A good meditation spot

Art. Whatever. I'm not cultured enough, I guess! It's an interesting light up giant soccer ball. There are benches you can recline on to watch the show. It's right off a large, free parking lot, so it is easy to get to. You can get to the rest of the museum campus with an easy walk from here.

Bring wine! Or you can be family friendly and skip the wine. That was or choice because we forgot the wine. The reclining benches are big enough for a family or a couple and a romantic date.

Mediocre food. Baby back ribs super dry, like they sat out all day.- they had to bring out fresher cooked ribs. The waitress was very helpful and did an excellent job.

Very cool spot. Comfortable benches to lounge on before or after visiting Crystal Bridges. Best early evening, all lit up.

Great place to check out. In the winter they have an ice rink and lights all around. Restaurants and trails are close by. There are restrooms inside. They seemed pretty clean for how busy everything was. Seems like a popular spot for young adults and kids alike.

We had so much fun at the splash pad! Our kids weren't that excited since there are no special features but I think we had more fun here than any other splash pad we've been to in a while. Totally recommend.

Get place for kids...They have water splash in the middle. kids and adults both will enjoy a lot...we visited here for the magic show happened and it was awesome. It's near downtown We went in the winters and ice skating is open for all age groups …had a lot of fun …kids friendly and a good place Overall a must visit place with your kiddos

In town with nephews and we drove over to Slaughter Pen trails. Between the varying terrain, set up similar to ski runs in that you've got Green (easy) Blue (challenging), Black (Extreme), and the features, this area made for an amazing time for the whole family. Every other rider was friendly and courteous; this felt like an amazing community to be apart of. From Slaughter Pen we were able to cycle to /from Bentonville and grab lunch. I cant wait to return; I dream about these trails!

Nice place for trails,evening walks,mountain bike trails and outdoor fitness activities . Trails are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced with special features including log rides, drops, jumps and a free ride area with table top jumps, bermed turns, and a wall ride. The Bentonville - Blowing Springs Tour is a ride featuring the Slaughter Pen trail system in Bentonville to the Blowing Springs trail system in Bella Vista. The ride is a mix of singletrack and paved bikeways through the beautiful forests of Northwest Arkansas.

I only dabble in mountain biking but this place seems to be the mecca of riding. Another great gift to the public to enjoy.

What a fun trail system!!! We like to park right behind Wrights BBQ 🍖 and go into trail from there. You can ride down to Crystal Bridges and ride under a huge steel spider that is super cool. We ride for a while then make our way back to downtown Bentonville where there is an endless supply of amazing patio restaurants to have an adult refresher after the trails. We absolutely love this town and highly recommend it if you like to have fun and be outside. Come enjoy this wonderful little town. It has big town amenities with a small town vibe.

Mountain bike heaven. It has all different trails for all different type riders. This place is no doubt one of the best in the region.

The Slaughter Pen Trails in Bentonville offer an incredible network for riders close to town. We went to Bentonville first time and we loved it. They have so many trails for different skills. You can see the signs before enter basic, intermediate, pro, etc. Amazing place for mountain bikers.

This is a lovely park to relax and walk, just take in the beauty. My family took our Christmas card photo here. The pergola/ fountain area is so pretty, it’s a popular photo op. There is a great children’s play area, a big dog park nearing completion, and of course bike trails!

Beautiful new park in Bentonville! The rock features and small and large dog areas are wonderful. Bentonville has the best parks and this one is no exception!

Love the views and the playground. It’s hard not to get lost in the sight seeing,there is so much more to see! Walking trails,playgrounds,and there is enough parking spaces to accommodate big or small crowds.

This park is peaceful and beautiful! Clean restrooms. My dog loved walking here and sniffing everything!

Love the new playground, it has fun stuff for all ages and also things you don't normally see like a seat swing and an actually pleasant percussion play section.

It was a busy day...Father's Day. Lots of dogs! Sculptures not maintained very well. Grounds looked immaculate.

Nice park, great dog parks that separate large and small dogs. Nice lake with great landscaping for walking. A drawback is that the playground is small.

Great open dog park with many things to explore. Very neat and clean. Play area looked fun as well.

I went to Orchards Park's Fourth of July fireworks celebration with my family. The park and the fireworks were wonderful. We also liked the food trucks. The concert was excellent as well. There were numerous places to sit for the concerts. They had portable restrooms. I really enjoyed the fireworks show.

This is a great little park. It's not very big, but there's usually not a ton of people there. So, your little one can run and play. It's connected to a dog park, soccer fields, and a walking trail (which is nice, too).

Our family went for the fourth of July event at Orchards park. It was definitely crowded for the event but such a beautiful park. They had restrooms and lots of room of fields for sports, seating areas for the concerts. Something I didn't notice was play equipment. Leaving the event with all the traffic wasn't the easiest or well conducted but I feel a normal day parking and getting around would be much simpler!

Beautiful park. Nice and clean. Had a picnic and kids played on the playground.

Memorial parks contain lots of paygrounds like wallyboll, basketball, football, and tennis court areas and small kids' play area as well. Near to Children's play area restroom also there . Very nice beautiful pond & creaks. We can use hammocks to trees near Memorial Park. Very good walking and cycle trial are there in this park .

Great park... has everything! Skateboard Park Public Pool Basketball Courts Baseball Fields You can walk around the park, grab a water at Neighborhood Market. Like many folks, take your lunch break in your car and people watch. There's also benches and picnic tables all along the sidewalk that goes around the park.

Very nice park with plenty of outdoor activities to do. Great park for the whole family.

My rating is for the playground and swing area. For what they have it is well kept; but, compared to other parks that we have been to, it was just okay. My daughter is young (just shy of two years old) so maybe an older kid would have more fun at this playground.

No orchids :( I dont know how a orchid even looks like. The playground was extensive with many play objects, very well kept, and provides a great place to spend an evening.

We enjoy coming to this park plenty of shade under the pavilion. Play area for big kids and small kids. There are also bathrooms on the other side of the pavilion.

Beautiful park! Lots of open space. Well maintained. Fun variety with ponds and streams. Playgrounds for the kiddos that are age appropriate and a standard pavilion for picnics.

First time to really stop and take a look around the park. Seems hard to believe that you can pass this place so many times and never take time to look at all the beauty of the park.

Memorial Park is the "local" field for us as travel ball takes you all over. The fields are in good shape & you will play in the rain until it becomes unsafe w/lightening. There are adequate stalls in the restroom for the ball field size, especially since there are always several games going on at once. Bleachers are covered but do not block the rain, just the shade. Umps are tough at times and can be frustrating to parents but that's ball. All in all a 5 as it's smooth sailing at this field.
