I got to see the very last Flamethrower Day show: the second unplanned showing because so many people showed up that they couldn't accept everyone for the posted show...or everyone left after the first unplanned show. We got about 30 total seconds of flamethrower action before they ran out of fuel, and you know what? That 30 seconds really was plenty! The heat off that...wow! The physical sensation of it sent me all the way back into the hanger, quite willing (as the photos show) to see it from behind a few people. WOW!! My partner, who admitted it was a hard-headed ego thing, like trying to muscle through the hot sauce that turns out to be too hot. It's not a 'bro' thing as much as a 'D*** I can do this!' thing if you ask him. Anyway he refused to step back from the hottest section (where the flames met targets) and wound up with what would have been a sunburn if it had been caused by the sun! I can't imagine being on the receiving end of that. Being unable to escape that extraordinary heat, being unable to escape at all. We were told that ultimately the victims of a flamethrower incident died of smoke inhalation, but my guess is you can't tell a whole lot about how the guys on the very first line of victims died. That was a LOT of heat, a LOT of fire. It made me really shocked, really sad. My images aren't going to show the museum as it was, since they're packing up and moving a great deal of the collection to other museums and, I was told, returning some of them to the military folks from whom they'd been on loan. Nearly everything at the museum that was held by the museum itself was up for sale, yes including some of the tanks! I got stuck at a display towards the front of the line through which we moved: the colored ribbons worn to denote different medals received, different ranks and honors bestowed. I kept thinking about how those little bits of insignia represent some of the proudest moments of men and women who might or might not still be alive. The medals were likely donated, some brought from elsewhere, and if any were on loan they would have been returned...but to have some of them for sale...just $12 for this piece of someone's life, a visual representation of someone's most poignant, terrible, proud, difficult, unimaginable, frightened, and/or extraordinary experiences. For sale, $12. The young woman with whom I spoke told me that any that weren't sold would likely go on to another museum, though she didn't know for sure. I wanted to bring them home like puppies, ignore the possibility that they were given to the museum because the person attached to the honorable actions & earned rewards was some form of awful in ways I could never know but perhaps his family did all too well. What kind of energy could be attached to that? Plus what was I even going to do with them, make a little shrine? We don't even have my partner's various insignia up anywhere, though in large part because of his own pain around them. Maybe these people with the orphaned stripes & stars felt similarly. Anyway, it's closing. We got to see the flamethrowers despite being there a bit late & numerous for the official "Last Show Ever". We were the Lastest Last Show. They ran out of fuel, which means to me they must have made it stretch early on and for the consideration, I am grateful. I'm sorry to say I'd never come when we planned to before there was this urgency. We had the dates on our calendar well in advance numerous times a year, but often we checked the planners to find out when it is only to discover it was the day before, or on a date we had to work, and we have been missing Flamethrower Day for three years or more. It was SO HOT! So much hotter than I ever expected! I wish I had been a better and more frequent visitor of the Tank Museum, and maybe they wouldn't have had to break it all up. Maybe they'd have had to anyway, but I feel like I could have done a little more personally to keep them local. Ah well, nothing to be done now.

On the way, i saw the museum sign and changed my way to here and happy to visit here. Lots of thing to see, if you are interested in military stuff. You should spend at least 3 hours to look at all things.

Awesome display of military armor and items from around the world! So sad it will be closing soon. If your interested in this kind of history you had better get there soon as they have started selling the items. I was told that they will close to the public sometime in September

This place is huge! It's much more than a tank museum. Military uniforms and hats from many countries and time periods, weapons, machine guns, gun sights, tank toys, artillery, and much more. Every collection is detailed and extensive. Very impressive military museum.

Great museum, lots of things to see and if you have the budget a nice selection of items to take home. If you visit in the summer it's going to get hot so be prepared.

This is a private run museum. It is located in a small town. The whole exhibit is located in a indoor place. Many tanks and cannons in exhibition. My son enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately the own told us that the museum is in the process of closing down. Pity! So if you want to visit, be hurry!

Way way more thorough and impressive than I imagined. We were both somber and elated, and of course PATRIOTIC!! The boss answered all our questions and gave us real perspective on the museum contents and its rightful place in history; which must be maintained and broadly experienced by USA citizens and others of all ages! Loved it!

This place blew me away! I had no idea it would be this extensive and with so many tanks and unexpected cool stuff like an alien craft from the movie "War of the Worlds". It went above and beyond my expectations. Nice clean gift shop, friendly staff, great reenacters that were so friendly and you could tell we're really loving doing it. The exhibits were displayed awesomely. They put so much work into it. They have an amazing field I think is for RC cars and tanks that I would love to see or try out. We were there for Flamethrower Day and, let me tell you, you cannot describe with words how hot it is when they shoot them. Definitely will be going back

This tank museum is amazing, with all types of different tanks, aircraft, cars, and other vehicles. There are also multiple different types of submarines and boats on display. There is a flea market portion of the museum, which I enjoyed as well as a separate portion to buy antique products, which was awesome! I highly recommend this museum for anybody who likes military history.

This place is huge! Well worth the trip. We tried to go for the Flamethrower Day but went on the wrong day. They have a pretty cool section of flea market items for sale as well. Great educational information here. NO AC in the facility so be aware of this before you go and prepare to sweat a bit and walk a lot.

This military museum is in the process of moving or closing. They still have many tanks and artillery items on display. And they have one of the biggest military uniform displays I've ever seen or heard of. If you are in the area go check it out before it's gone!

Paved paths for bikers, hikers, and horses. When my wife and I went it was muddy. The Dan river must over flow quite often. The path was paved, but covered with mud in many places. It goes along the river, passes The Danville Braves baseball stadium, the Veterans Memorial and goes under a highway. The concrete bridge had been washed away. We had to turn around. It is in a urban slightly run down area of Danville VA.

For being in Danville, it is pretty nice trail to take a walk on, pretty lengthy, by the river, can take pets on the trail. Very nice view of river. Especially in fall when leaves are different colors and falling, makes the trail great.

Poorly maintained trail system, although they've got the right idea. Mountain bike trail system is nice to have in a City park, but trails do nothing but double back on themselves. They really jammed some mileage into a tiny space. Tires and trash in all of the drainage areas.

Very interesting! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Had a great collection of items from the 1800s and lots of information about the history of Danville and the house the museum is located in.

Closed, we arrived about 15mins prior and since the hubby did 20yrs military, and is retired we would have had to pay $20 for the 2 of us to quickly look at a few Wendell Scott momentos, so we just went by his garage instead and enjoyed our time in Danville. History is awesome to see

I was excited to take some of my chickens out for the day I chose the science center specifically for their Harley Davidson exhibit. We got there around eleven and was done everything by 115. The exhibits are small but definitely interesting and fun. We did not do the dome movies. I was confused as when the Harley Davidson exhibit opened. I was told by an employee in the first building it was not open until two but then when I got into the second building it was open. Not sure why the employee did not now correct information she was giving out. The Harley exhibit was not what I expected but it was educational and a good place for pictures! My youngest chicken liked the area for five years old and under. Very well kept and clean. Will be returning for the butterflies in the summer.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the butterfly garden and the children's play area in the old train station. I do truly wish that they could get an upgrade to have an outdoor area like the Greensboro Science Center or even the Durham Life and Science Museum and indoor like Amazement Square. I think with the new attractions in the city, that they would want to offer some attractions that are more family friendly.

Me and the hubs went just to check it out and get out of the house. I knew it would be fairly small, but it's a bit smaller than I was expecting. Definitely a good place for maybe younger kids, but we definitely enjoyed the butterfly exhibit.

We traveled to the science center from NC specifically for the train exhibit for my son. It was definitely worth the drive. The train exhibit takes up a whole building with Thomas on one side and a big wooden train on the other for younger kids. The building also backs up to train tracks so we got to see a freight train going by. They also have a walk thru caboose outside. We didn't spend as much time in the other building that has the science stuff but we did enjoy the water section. We will be back to visit so we can go into the planetarium dome and the creativity lab. The staff are very friendly as well.

My wife and I share an interest in Science and Walking (and our EV). We decided to do the AVA walk in Danville and to visit the Science Central (affiliated with the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond); the fact of having a Fast Charging station for our EV adjacent to the Science Central was a definite Plus to our decision to visit. We did the walk, had a great lunch, then toured Science Central. It offers a wide range of experiences with a butterfly garden, a dome theatre, a large children's center in the restored train station building, and several exhibits centered on water (as is fitting for a historic river town). We thoroughly enjoyed the interactive exhibits at the center and really had to put on our thinking caps to try the puzzles in the family section. Of special interest was the pinball type exhibit where one literally "Tilts" the unit to score points whereas the original machines would lock up if "tilted" too much. With all of the interactive exhibits this place could entertain children for several hours. We had a wonderfully entertaining Day Trip from our home in the Richmond area.

Lots to see and do! The dune movie was fun too.

I took my little ones to the science center, and we had a blast! So many fun hands-on activities for the kids to do. My daughter especially loved building her own rocketship and race car. The playground area across the street was well maintained, and the train theme was really cool. It's fun for the big kids (adults), too! Will definitely go back next time we are in the area visiting family.

Went on a co-op field trip with my son. They kept them moving and kept them interested. Our group leader did great giving instructions to the kids and maintaining the program. There is a place for groups to eat so we all packed a snack or lunch. They keep the lunches, as they are not allowed near the displays but then at lunch time, they deliver everything right on time. They made sure the kids had regular bathroom breaks and there were water fountains throughout. Also, the gift shop is a gem. Not a lot of choices but the ones they have are very kindly priced. There were $.50 bouncy balls so no worries.

Friendly staff!!! Very helpful. Our son enjoyed the Thomas the Train exhibit. And loved the water area. He liked getting wet in the "rain".

We've been coming here since my son was 2 and a half--He just turned 5 today and we again came back for an equally amazing experience! Jeff (in the train area/front desk) is amazing! Visited my hometown today and didnt know they had a science center. Took my children who are 1 and 2 and my niece and nephew who are 12 and 9, they had so much fun. Fun for all ages im 36 and i even had fun...staff was nice and informative, i would say the only con was that we went on a day that field trips were happening and that was chaotic, so we choose to try to get ahead of the group so we can enjoy the rooms with out rushing and it all worked out.... i wish they could tell you online if a class is coming bc it really isnt fun when 20 kids are there running frantic...we went to the 5 and under rooms last which was chill clean and fun for my little ones...we will be visiting again soon my son loved thomas the train...

My family and I recently visited the Danville Science Center, and it exceeded all our expectations! This place was so much fun - the pictures don’t do it justice. My 9 year old and 13 year old had a blast (I did too!), despite my presumption that the exhibits might be too young for them. Pro tip: after playing in the rainfall maze, they can dry off in the hurricane simulator!

My 7 yr old son, his 6yr old cousin and her 3yr old sister all ask to go to the Danville science center, by name! It's that fun. Not to mention that we live an hour away, but have a membership to come here. The bottom floor is mostly dedicated to water, and there's a wind tunnel. The top floor is full of activities and the science behind them. The train station building has a play area for toddlers on one side and the other side has a cute little train display, along with changing exhibits. Definitely go when they have train days, as train enthusiasts from all over bring their trains to display. This really is a gem 💎💎💎

The water section was very interesting. A nice place to go for children and adults. Inexpensive and informative. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the water and movement exhibits, the dome movie was by far our favorite. We were disappointed that at 2pm on a wednesday the creators lab activity was for 8 and up. didn't really seem to make sense that at a time when generally older kids are at school that our group 7 kids who were six and under wasn't given an option. Considering that there is only two other floors outside of the movie it would've been nice to just have that one extra activity. it's well-maintained but was just a little less than what we are hoping for out of a day trip.

Easily accessible. Public restrooms. Charcoal grills at every shelter. Veterans Memorial Park is within, what a plus! 5 stars.

I went to this park with friends to take advantage of a really pretty March day. The grounds were clean. Picnic areas where we lunched were spotless. The Memorial is a must-see. There were several parked cars in a lower field where children enjoyed a playground. I dreaded going to the public restrooms but ended up surprised by how clean they looked. Lots of sports fields, trails, bike and running paths. Probably much more.

Amazing park!! Has a small, beginner friendly skatepark, amazing trails with a beautiful river. Has a playground, baseball field, a small baseball stadium of minor league, a soccer/football field, and beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend.

It is a very nice park with place for the kids to play and the fields for softball and soccer sre immaculate. It is a bit away from but too my service fog for short walk there too.

We love coming here my kids always have a blast! We go walking on trails, run wild on the playground, watch the Braves Baseball game. There's always something to do. It's also a great place to have birthday parties and family reunions!

Amazing Park! We loved walking through the memorial wall. It was absolutely breath taking. The Dan River bike trail also runs behind this park and they have bikes that you can rent using the Zagster app.

Nic easy atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I got a one of the ales - not bad but not overwhelmingly mindblowing. Price was marked around $5 so pretty good deal. I also got a hard seltzer, paid $20 cash and only got $8 back so my guess is that it's around $7. They're not open everyday nor are they open very late. 1st time here and they had a softball game going on on a Monday eve. There was a food truck outside but I didn't stop by to see what it was. Will come back again to give their other drinks a try.

Decent atmosphere, and the patrons are really friendly and make you feel more welcome than the guy running the show does. Especially how he treats some of the great musicians on open mike night. He definitely plays favorites among his entertainers, and will cut them off to get up and sing his songs, which I thought abhorrent. All in all, it was satisfactory

Great vibe! Food truck, live music, great people. We spent about 3 hours just relaxing here. Pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon mid-January but the staff was superior in care and attention to the important things. Great selection should you choose to imbibe and the staff was excellent at explaining all of the selections.

Loved finding this winery/brewery open in Danville on a Monday. Great customer service and a real family vibe. They have a huge indoor space for seating as well as a large outdoor space. It looks like they have bands come play there sometimes also. The Rosé wine I tried was clean and crisp with a good flavor profile but not too sweet. My spouse tried a beer tasting flight and loved all 4 of them. If we lived in the area this is definitely a place we would frequent. Dog friendly too!

What a great place with great ownership. The wines and brews are very well crafted with a little bit of something for everyone. The indoor space is huge and they have an outdoor patio option as well. The staff is superb and genuinely just nice hard working people. We had a great time and there was even an open mic night where anyone who wanted could sign up to sing there favorite tunes. All in all a very good feel vibe and extremely inclusive of everyone. Will being coming back when we’re in the area again! Cheers!!

Went in this store today, knew what I needed when I went in, but also wanted to browse just to see if maybe I wanted something else. From the second I walked in the door I had the owner follow me for a while and watched me like a Hawk. He said "Can I help you?" I said "No sir, im just browsing" He replies with "well that doesn't pay my bills." I blew it off, kept looking around. A woman employee comes up, follows and watches me for the remainder of my visit. Found exactly what I was after. However, I didn't buy because ive NEVER been treated this way in any store. I can only assume it's because I'm young. There were other shoppers, all older. They were not watched. If there were different owners I would have spent several hundreds there today. I seen several things I would have been interested in. Being stereotypical doesn't pay the bills, being nice to all customers pays the bills.

Very large space with lots of quality antiques. It is very crowded and there is a lot to see. The prices are exorbitant even for the quality of antiques available. The shopkeepers also hovered and made several comments about how we needed to purchase and not just look. While it was an impressive antique shop, the atmosphere is one that would make me not return. Definitely not a space friendly for those with mobility issues either.

Amazing collection of high quality furniture (mostly) and other collectables focused on the late 1700s to the early 1900s. Many of these were well documented and researched. The prices reflect the research: they know the value of what they have and I would not expect a "find" of some undervalued treasure. It would be a better store for finding the one of a kind item that you were willing to pay whatever it was worth for. For this, I would have given it a 4 star. I took a start off for the staff following us around the shop reminding us that "everything is for sale" and that this was "a store, not a museum."

The owner Robert is a disgustingly rude and horrible old man. WORST ONWER IVE EVER SEEN!!! I love antiques and antique shops, NOT this one! The prices are good but the owner will be extremely rude and if you’re younger than 55 do yourself a favor and just don’t go in. His late wife Lou, would have been very disappointed in the way he runs HER store. I have been told (by Robert) to cut my hair so I could see the items!! Also have been watched by Robert himself so i didn’t “steal everything” along with overhearing racist rhetoric!!!!! If you rent a booth here you should know that Robert is extremely limiting your sales with his constant deplorable behavior. GOOD SHOP!!! TERRIBLE OWNER. BEWARE!!!

I’ve visited Lou’s many times, only twice since they moved and the first time at the new place the owner was very rude but I blew it off and continued to shop. Today I go in with my spouse and just about anything we stopped to check out he had to ask if we wanted to buy, which got old really quick. Then he asked if we’re twins and we say no we’re not and he tells us well one of ya are uglier then the other. We blew it off and continued to shop then he tells an employee out loud to keep an eye on us a few times. At that point we were done being insulted and left, with prices that high on basic stuff just because it’s old it’s just not worth the harassment. If you’re younger than 50 you probably won’t be too welcomed.

The owner Robert is a racist and rude!! My fiancé and I visited this store about 1 month ago and spent close to $200. We love antique stores and enjoyed visiting last time so we went back today. My fiancé asked to use the bathroom and he said “we are not letting you people use the restroom”. I went to ask a lady who worked there and she said sure and was showing me the way to the bathroom and as we got to the bathroom Robert was standing there and told the lady I couldn’t use the bathroom. **Important to note that we both used the restroom at our last visit when we asked another lady whom was helping us!! Will never go back into this establishment. There is no place on Earth for Racism.

Owner is one rude SOB. If you don't want to buy something just say so with some degree of professionalism. Don't act like a stereotypical "Me-Generation" Boomer.

We were a bit reluctant to visit this Antiques Mall based on all the recent negative comments, but decided we had some time while visiting Danville, and we would see what all the negativity was all about. We found a packed-full store with friendly staff. Prices were to be expected. They did check in with us frequently as we shopped, but I didn’t see that as intrusive, just helpful. I saw several people making purchases and even negotiating with the owner in a reasonable way. We are in our mid 60s, but our son who lives in Danville is in his mid 30s and considers this HIS favorite antiques store. Our experience was pretty positive. Glad we stopped by. Give it a try!

I find it very puzzling that the reviews are saying the owner Robert is rude and racist as me and my girlfriend are an interracial couple and we had a great experience with Robert and the staff. Since we are from North Carolina and decided to take a trip up to Danville, we stumbled upon Lou’s Antique Mall during a drive around after discovering Langhorne House was closed, all I have to say is I’m glad I visited!

Danville has been real busy as of late refurbishing, renovating, building, and growing the community. The historic Tobacco District is beautiful, nostalgic, and generally pretty inviting, with all the happenings it now has going on. Ballad Brewing is located in one of the renovated Tobacco buildings and chock full of old-world charm. The giant, heavy barn doors, the original hardwood floors, the brick walls all bring a comfortable and friendly feeling. . My husband and I had a 'date day' exploring Danville one afternoon and it brought us to this place. We were there pretty early in the afternoon, the only two as they had just opened. The two barkeeps were super friendly, helpful, fun, and conversational. They gave us background info on many of the brews and told us of a few of the activities held there from time to time. Each month they have a different set of activities and things going on. . People also use them as a venue for celebrations like weddings and parties. And it's certainly an ideal place for a group of family and friends to spend time together.

I’ve been to many breweries in my years and as of late they have not delivered consistent beers. But then I entered Ballad and I was thrilled with each and every beer I tried! These guys got it right and their beers are awesome. Stop in play some shuffle board, corn hole or just sit outside and drink a great beer. You will not be disappointed.

Extremely friendly staff. The two male bartenders were awesome! Delicious beer in a beautiful historic building. No food on property but you can bring in your own. Great outside patio area and modern apparel and gifts. I certainly will visit when back in the area. Definitely recommend.

I come here on Thursdays with coworkers whenever I am in the area for their trivia night. Trivia used to be more difficult which was nice as it made you and the team think. Now they're a bit easier which took out some of the fun. Super casual vibe with plenty of seating (benches, comfy couches and chairs, bar seats) and good beer slection. You can order your meal and bring it here to eat in. They have a shuffleboard table, darts, a few arcade/pinball games.

We had an impromptu stop early on a Friday afternoon. Ballad was such a wonderful visit! Great space indoors and out, benches, tables, couches, cornhole, shuffleboard, pinball. I loved the whole atmosphere! Beautiful brick, old school distressed wood floors. Totally worth a stop if you are in the area!

The inside was amazing. Huge but cozy. Nice outdoor space too. The beer was excellent! Lots of styles. I can’t pick a favorite. In a great area of the city as well, the growing River District.

Their brewmaster is incredibly talented. So many good beers and in different styles all the time. I love it here.

The atmosphere here was pretty cool. Awesome space both indoors and out. My spouse enjoyed his beer and would've liked to stay and try another couple of options. However, they have absolutely ZERO gluten free options, so I was stuck drinking water. They don't offer wine, cider or seltzer. This is only the 2nd brewery we've ever run across in any state that doesn't have at least one gluten free option. They're missing an entire market and losing revenue because people like us won't stay if they don't have something for me to drink. Poor move. They are pet friendly though, so at least they have that going for them.

Mall says it opens up at 10am I waited until 10:05 to go inside. Only a few stores were open. Most still had the gates down and lights off. A huge waste of time!

Sad how the mall is like a ghost town now. Food court pretty much gone, unfortunately they closed the japanese place down when they had great food. The Chinese place should've been closed down over the Japanese, their food was so much better. The mall needs help revitalizing itself.

It’s a baby mall, not as many stores and selection as I would have hoped. Displeased as I wanted to shop. Didn’t find nothing I liked cause variety is smaller, cause the mall is a small mall! This mall is clean and people are polite. Not many people, it’s almost dead when it comes to people coming in and out. but it’s too small for me. Left unhappy!!!

I like this mall because I've lived in Danville my whole life and I'm just most comfortable with this mall but it has lots of down falls like most of the floor space is closed stores and the mall part itself excluding the open stores isn't the worlds cleanest but it's not to terrible dirty either, I'd say this mall definitely need a remodel and a plan

Just a heads up if you have an emotional support pet don’t even try to bring your pet because they won’t allow it even though my dog is registered as an emotional support animal. Don’t Waste your time going this mall. I have brought my dog to another mall and no problem.

Some good clothing stores. I was able to get a decent deal at Cato. There is not a lot of places to eat- (Chick-fil-A, pretzels, Chinese and cookies). If there was a few more places to eat the rating would have been higher

A nice mall. Not to many people there. It has a food court, Spencer's, hot topic, th and body works and a few other stores. It has 2 floors with stairs and escalators. Very clean and the floors are carpeted. Would recommend a visit here.

I really like this mall! It's clean and has nice decor, and I love the historic pictures! It just needs to add some more stores and restaurants.

Went to check the place out myself from reading some of the reviews and it’s true, the mall is slowly shutting down. It has potential and Danville has a lot of people in the area to go so I don’t get how it can get so low. Also, some of those prices in certain stores are ridiculous. Might as well bump most of it down, maybe they’ll get more business.

Really cool area of Danville in the process of being revitalized. I was here to access the Dan River trailhead. Definitely would go again and explore more.

This is a local treasure! A theater from 1943 that has been lovingly restored by a world renowned illusionist who fell in love with the crumbling theater and the old mill town that was her home. The most recent performance was the Moscow ballet presenting the timeless Nutcracker to a sold out crowd. Perfect combination of history and art. Well done!!

Attended Menopause the Musical at the North Theatre last night with 8 friends and had a magnificent time. The play was hysterically funny, the music and sound system outstanding and Wayne was there to greet everyone! Kudos to Wayne Alan for bringing such a great show to our smaller town. Would love to see again!

Went there recently on a trip home to visit family. The theater has been restored wonderfully to the period that I remember it from in the 60's. They are a big part of the revitalization of North Main Hill which I never thought I would see turned around in my life time. Please support the theater and what they are doing for Danville.

We went to a comedy show here with a magic a t & 3 stand up comedians... it was hilarious. Loved it to death. The short magic part was my favorite. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars was because we were parked in their parking lot and STILL managed to get hit by another car. It was a hit and run with no cameras. Not their fault but I would expect better security from this type of establishment.

It is ran by a kind man. The place was clean and they put on a wonderful show

Decent size park with good facilities. There is a single launch boat ramp that is free and ample parking. There’s also picnic pavilions and clean restrooms. The only problem here is it’s downwind from the sewage treatment facility. So your smell might actually smell like $%^#. Other than that it’s a great park.

What a great facility we have here in Danville!! Walking trails, horse riding trails, shelters for picnics and family gatherings, mountain bike trails, boat ramp and you can fish from the banks!!!

Awesome park. The trails are well mapped on Google Maps, and there are tons of digital wayspots if you play any of the Niantic games (Ingress, Pokemon Go, etc). Cell reception on the trails isn't great but it's ok. I have Verizon and had 1-2 bars of 4G. If you are having issues connecting, try restarting your phone. I didn't try the wifi, not sure how widespread that is. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. It was a little confusing finding where to start, but once I figured it out there were tons of trails to explore. Everything is very well-maintained. I will be back!

Lots of hiking trails and bike trails. Large walking/riding track. Soccer field. Nice little park tucked away out in no where.

Trails are a little overgrown but we found access to fishing spots easily a little modified terrain not close to waters edge but any bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work

I love this park, it has lots of trails, but beware of snakes.

If it wasn't for the washed out trail bridges I would've given this park a 5 star for biking. I really enjoyed the short paved uphill challenging bike trail that is located to the right of the park restrooms though. Fortunately, it was not affected by the flood. I highly advise that you check your brakes out before you make your way back because you'll definitely need them .

Some super fun mountain biking. Great single track. There are a few water crossings, lots of cobble size rock sections, mostly short climbs and flowing descents. We were able to do 9 miles in under 2 hours, lots of stopping and checking the map and a few missed turns. There is a bike wash too!

I went here to ride the mountain bike trails and they are really good! great signage and varied trails, mostly woodland but there are creek crossings and some open sections which as interest. While I was there I also rode the paved Dan river greenway up to Dan Daniel park which was very scenic alongside the river and through 'ghost tree island'.

Dirty and most of the machines in the game room are inop. Seriously, you guys should shut your doors and do a deep cleaning. I will not be bringing my kids back until then.

What a wonderful place to bring a family! My girls love coming here! It’s always super clean and all the houses are amazingly well maintained. The staff is wonderful! Every time we go in they greet my kids and make them feel welcome and special. Great variety of bounce houses for the girls to play on and work all that energy out

I love this place owners are great. My daughter has tons of fun. Its very affordable. Just 5$ for 3 and under and 8$ for 4 and up. They have great party deals also. Can't wait to have my daughters VIP party

This place is a great place to take your kids. 3 and under is $5. 4 and up is $10. Not just that the staff is very talented. Me and my family had the pleasure of watching one of the staff members restitch the bounce houses. She explained why it had to be done. She also explained that is regular maintenance for bounce houses. This happened on October 13th. It was an absolutely One of a Kind interaction on how things are done to maintain safety in this bounce house. It was absolutely fascinating for me and my children.

We really wanted this place to work for us since it’s the only place that can accommodate a decent sized birthday party. When you have children who celebrate winter birthdays, it’s tough since you can’t be outside. We felt like we needed to pour sanitizer over ourselves every 10 minutes, not to mention the poor shape of the bounce houses. One of my kids had a deep scrape on her back from a ripped piece of the big slide. Most of the game machines are outdated and work occasionally. I hope they put more effort into cleanliness and updates. It definitely has potential if they do.

The women who run this place are doing the best they can and are very nice. The clientele are ROUGH! The children are mean and the parents don’t watch them. My grandkids (ages 3, 5 and 7) said all the kids are bullies!! I don’t know if it’s this area or what. 🤷🏽‍♀️ As much as I loved the owners, I won’t be bringing my babies back here. 😞

This place is AMAZING. We visited with our two children and they had so much fun, we decided to plan our 8 year old's birthday party there. It ended up being such a great party. She said several times, "That was the best birthday party I've ever had." That's what every parent hopes to hear after each party planned. That their child had a good and memorable day. Now our youngest wants to have her next party there as well. Can't wait to make her day just as special. ❤

This is an excellent place, I had my son's first birthday party here they made my experience and his birthday party amazing. My kids love the screaming slide. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend this place.

Great place for kids to have fun and burn energy. We took our 6 year old Felix and he had a great time. The equipment is clean . The people are friendly.
