We had such an amazing experience! Very professional, very safe, very exciting! Our guides were awesome: Sara, Cody and and Kelly were so so good and really added to the experience. A special bonus was that Cody spoke Spanish with some members of my party what speak English as a second language! Five stars! Would definitely recommend! Coming back with my kids!

We absolutely loved our experience at CLIMB Works Keana Farms Zipline! It was our first time ever zip lining and we were not disappointed. Our guides were Abby, Jackson, Q, & Brooklyn and they were amazing and fun. We felt safe the whole time and had a terrific experience! And we also got to try their farm grown tomatoes and macadamia nuts! Beautiful north shore of Oahua with views of the mountains and ocean!

My family of 6 was on vacation for two weeks in Hawaii and we decided to do the zip lining tour. We started on a practice line, which was nice to show the kids in our group what to expect during the tour. All 3 tour guides were awesome and made us feel comfortable. Our 9 year old was a little scared at the beginning, but they kept her calm and helped her the entire time. We learned a lot throughout the tour of the history of Hawaii and what is all grown on the farm. I believe her name was Hannah, she was great, she knew all of our names and got to know each one of us throughout the tour. Another guide was Riley, he was great as well. I almost got stuck on the line, but I made it to the brake for him to pull me in! The other guide (I don't remember his name) but he was hilarious and was the lead guide it seemed. A lot of the kids got stuck due to the high winds and he went out over 10 times to get the kids to the other side, but he would flip and walk with his feet! He was hilarious! The whole group worked well together and it seemed like we were just a group of friends hanging out, enjoying the day and going zip lining! If we ever return to Hawaii, we'll definitely be back! We also found out that they have another location in Tennessee that we may check out next summer!

The crew (Adam, Brad, and Emily) were absolutely amazing and all deserve raises immediately! They were entertaining and engaging, full of facts and history, and worked hard to make our experience safe and fun. They even gave us tips for eating afterwards and we found some amazing food afterwards. We 100% recommend everyone visiting Oahu do this adventure!

Totally amazing experience. Adam, Daisy and Halle were kind, knowledgeable and enabled both a safe and fun adventure! The views from the top towers are incredible. Zip lines are combined with bridges and belay mechanisms to take you from platform to platform. You traverse the mountain side and cross forests and farm fields on the journey. There is also a bunch of cool island and Hawaii history mixed in along the way. Definitely look forward to coming back on a return visit to Oahu!

My family and I zip lined for the first time recently with CLIMB Works. Our guides Emma, Mokie and Grant were very personable and great fun. They patiently went over the safety protocols with us at the start and we felt safe throughout. After the first couple of jumps we were very comfortable, even zip lining upside down by the end! Fantastic scenery, long rides, nothing too strenuous and just the right amount of time. Would definitely do it again and request the same guides. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend making this part of your trip on Oahu.... Dave, Jennings (spell?) and Kai were more than welcoming, helpful, interactive. They truly enjoy their roles in slinging complete strangers down the magnificent zip lines. The experience was a significant high light of our trip. The entire team at Keana Farms works to ensure their guests truly enjoy their experience, are comfortable, and educated during the tour. We were even running late due to the crazy traffic on Route 83 heading North, we were lucky to have made it just in time. Don't give Google maps the benefit of a doubt. Between beach traffic and construction it will take you over an hour from Honolulu. But once you're there the North Shore has several Food Truck stops, markets and Lanikai Beach is great beach to spot a Sea Turtle.... But do all that after your Zipline Tour! Thank you CLIMB Works, definitely worth the venture!

The crew made this trip all the more special. My 10 year old son and I had a blast. I've been zip lining multiple times but after a bad experience in Costa Rica, I swore I would never go again. I'm so glad I did because this is my best experience yet! The lines were amazing! I really enjoyed the farm as well. There are water stations along the way which I really appreciated. The photos I purchased were just ok, I recommend bringing a camera if you want better pictures. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome awesome time there with our 3 guys. They kept us laughing with their stories and jokes. Our group was pretty small so it was easy to have fun and get to know each other. We weren't able to do the longest zip line due to weather. That is okay though we still had a blast and would do it again

The zip line adventure was such a special experience to share with our family visiting us here on Oahu. We had kids ranging from 7 to 11 years old and four adults who all had a blast. Right away we were whisked off on an ATV off road experience to the top of the course. It was a nerve racking to start in the highest zip lines since it was our first time zip lining. And our 7 year old didn’t make it all the way across. But he was secure and quickly retrieved by the attentive staff. The staff helped us overcome our fears and have lots of fun. The views were incredible and the course was very adventurous. The entire tour was about 3 hrs. It is suited for a more adventurous group. Also there are very cool picnic tables outside that would’ve been fun to bring a packed lunch to enjoy after.

Thanks to TikTok we can came across this super cool zip-line company. My friend and I had the best time ever and it will always be very memorable. When we arrived the check in was super fast and the guy at the desk was nice and welcoming. After, we received our gear and our instructors Alyssa, Duke, and Jason (aka Rod, Ricky, Richard ) helped us by securing them on. The instructors were all very nice and cool. They were all very engaging and with their senses of humor it made any anxious person feel very calm. They also were very good at informing my group and I about the rules and guidelines which made everyone feel very safe. One our instructors Duke gave us a quick history lesson on the Shaka and other signs on the way to the various zip lines. The views on the zip line were to die for and you got to see all the ranges of Oahu’s beauty. I would 10/10 recommended this to anyone who visits Oahu. 🤙🏽🤙🏽

This is truly a hidden gem that is a must do on your next trip to Oahu! I can’t say enough good things about CLIMB Works at Keana Farms, in the North Shore area. The crew was incredible and exhibit the true spirit of Aloha. Denim, Kiley and Brett did a fantastic job at keeping us safe while putting our minds at ease and actually took the time and put the effort into getting to know each of the adventurers in our pack individually. The views were truly incredible. I would venture to say that this is the best and most unique zip line on the entire island! They don’t advertise heavily, which I kinda love. It is integrated on a local farm with wind turbines on site, which really added to the experience…knowing that you are supporting a green company and local sustainable farm community.

We had so much fun today. Luke, Sarah and Kelly were awesome guides. ATV ride was fun (wish it was a little longer) and all the zip lines were great. They made us all feel safe! My little guy turned 7 a few days ago and all the guides were so good to him. And they remembered all our names! Beautiful spot, lovely views, great experience. Only thing is that for $1000 for our family, wish we would have gotten one complimentary picture.

Magnificent experience!! This is the most liked experience during our trip to HI. The website was very informative, very well laid out with answers to most questions. The staff, Ezra, Ike and Keda were genuinely friendly and truly enjoyed their job - they loved to entertain, courteous, trustworthy, and gave great pointers on how to further enjoy the zip line safely. The location was breathtaking filled with trees, plants, view of the ocean and just enough breeze to cool us down. The experience was not rushed, we had enough time to catch our breath and move on to the next line. The drive from Waikiki to North Shore was worth it, although it took about 1 hour, the drive took us away from the tourists to spectacular view of the mountains and ocean. It was worth the time and resources. Want to zipline - go for it and Climb Works is worth it!!!

What better place to zipline for the first time but in North Shore Oahu!!! This was definitely one of the highlights of our Hawaiian trip!! My 11 year old daughter loved every minute of it and so did her parents!! Never did I feel scared or nervous. It was such a fun, exhilarating, and unforgettable experience! Our guides were extremely helpful and kind and the scenery was breathtaking! We would all do this again without hesitation. Highly recommend!!!

We took the early morning zipline and it was great. The tour guides were fun and friendly and made our experience very enjoyable. The views from the top zip lines were amazing. I highly recommend this stop while visiting the island. I would recommend going early to avoid a bigger group. While there are normally 12 in a group, we only had four people in our group and got through the course very quickly.

What a fun morning! We really enjoyed our day of ziplining. The atv ride to the top was fun. Our guides were awesome. Thank you Q, Adam and Emma. Be sure to ask them for recommendations on places to eat or visit. We definitely will be coming back again on our next visit to Oahu.

Awesome experience with the Zipline. There are a total of 8 ziplines ranging longest, fastest. The crew made the whole thing special and also lively. There are quizzes along the way. Overall it takes 3 hours for the whole experience. they let you do the flips on some lines. We got delayed a bit and they called us and also made sure we joined the line on time. The kids enjoyed it. In fact kids did awesome then the adults. There are picnic areas to sit in. So suggest bringing the food and enjoying the area. There are good places to take good pictures. There are water cans available all along the way.

By far the best zip line!!! Everything about my experience was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and seemed to love their jobs. The views were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this zip line company and will definitely book again on my next trip to Oahu.

If you're the type that always thought a Zipline tour would be fun, but are too nervous to do it....this is where you want to go. The guides are super fun and really help you feel relaxed about doing it. Safety measures are all taken care of for you, so all you have to do is let them clip you on and then hold on to a couple little handles and fly. This was my first time, and by one of the last few runs, they had me comfortable enough to flip upside down even. Good number of lines, amazing views, great hosts, feel safe, etc. Check this place out!

This zip line experience was my and my wife's first, and it was the most exciting and exhilarating experience we have ever had! We went Thursday, March 7 with the 11:20 group. Amber and her two big brothers, Tatum and Randy, were absolutely awesome! They were a blast! They also cared about our safety and united our group into one cohesive family who encouraged us and celebrated our achievements. Didn't see a single turtle. Just a bunch of tourists swimming in a walled in beach. It is a beautiful beach, but every beach on O'ahu is and there are much better ones than this.

What an beautiful place. Stayed here few years ago and came back to check it out for our next stay . There has been some renovations that make the place look awesome. Staff where very friendly and welcoming.

Rob was really cool clean secluded not too many people very nice getaway. If you would like to visit the North Shore hundred percent recommend anyone who wants to go to a quiet place.

We didn’t see any turtles but the snorkeling here is still pretty great. There is parking for the public on the right just before you get to the resort’s covered entrance/ pull-around.

Four stars because we didn't see any turtles... Lovely beach, though, with crowded parking. It's a resort area, so can be busy and parking can be a hassle. We drove from Honolulu and didn't feel it was worth the traffic.

A lovely place to go walk around. We unfortunately ended up getting caught in the rain and they're very much was no shade so we were soaked by the time we made it back to the car which is my only complaint but definitely scenic and magical. Favorite place on the island but DAMN the price increases (at the Resort) post Covid-19 are just ludicrous! Luckily, there are registered & licensed AirBNB's within the Turtle Bay master plan. We stayed on the 9th hole for half the price of the Resort and had a fully stocked condo on our hands.

Great beach. Unfortunately I didn't see turtles but the beach was lovely. The place very organised with parking lot and signs and not just a stopping point on the road like the other beaches. The ground under the water is rocky so you should wear shoes. There are washrooms and restaurant at the beach.

As a beach compared to the rest of the world it's paradise. As a beach on Oahu i have to say this was just ok. We didn't see any turtles the day we were there and the snorkeling was just OK. We went to do many beaches with better snorkeling and sand the rest of our vacation. The beach sand was somewhat rough. The public parking was great. The Turtle Bay hotel grounds were very nice.

Had the best time on our Honeymoon. Suit was hugh with fluffy robes and a bathroom you could have a party in. View was perfect. Location beautiful! Service and staff impeccable. Worth every penny. Our guide was amazing! My wife and I ended up being the only ones in our group which made it extra special. We stayed at the resort for part of our honeymoon. The horses were well trained. It was my wife's first time riding a horse and she did great. We got breathtaking views along the ocean and even saw a couple sea turtles and whales! Our guide snapped some photos for us too. Highly recommend if you are in the area! This was one of the most affordable excursions we did in Hawaii.

We cannot say enough about our experience! Out of all the activities we did during our stay, this was by far our favorite. Both Phoebe and Tina, our guides provided stories, history and were so friendly. Our horses were also amazing. Thank you for the best experience!

Amazing pony experience! My kids, 5 and 3, had their first pony ride ever. They've been scared to try it before now and had such a fun and nice time here at the Turtle Bay stables. Ali was an amazing guide and so good with the pony and the kids.

Our girls loved the ~2 hour horse experience (roughly an hour of basic horse care and an hourlong coastal ride). Other touristy stuff we’ve done on Oahu seemed to come with a bunch of pressure to spend more $$ on extras and this was none of that, just low key and unassuming. Operator named Tina did great with the kids.

The horses are so calm it makes me wonder if they’re having a good time. I think they probably are? It’s a nice temperature, they have water and food and shade and the trainers are nice. You can walk right up and safely pet their adorable noses to your heart’s content. The riding experience is equally lovely and easy.

This was a great experience! Something I have always wanted to do and to be able to do so on the island of Oahu was beyond measure! The horse ride through the woods and along the coastline is simply breath taking. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is a hidden 💎 gem. Definitely recommend riding with Stables at Turtle Bay.

Turtle Bay 🐢 resort is the most Amazing place to swim in the ocean , amazing Beach 🏖️, tan, golf, eat and just completely disconnect from the Internet. The horseback riding was a plus too. Coming back soon!

We had a lovely, windy, surf-sprayed ride. I have been an avid rider for years but my friend hadn’t been on horseback in many years. They found perfect horses for us (although Ben took advantage and gobbled all the sweet grass he could get to!), and we both enjoyed our semi-private (only because we were the only ones riding at the time) tour to the Pillbox. Vera is a wonderful guide and took photos for us. Super fun. Will do it again next time I’m on Oahu. And as a bonus, the most amazing Ahi melt sandwich at Lei Lei’s after capped off a wonderful morning.

RODE Ben for my birthday this year. As an equine professional for over 40 years I appreciate all it takes to maintain a string of trail horses. My personal guide was Vera for my one hour individual ride. Worth every penny to be near such a pristine coastline on a horse. Wish all my horse friends could be with me. This is a rare opportunity to ride. Take advantage of it. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience and one of the most beautiful trails we have ridden. Most of the ride is along the coast and guide knowledge is always key to us. Ali and Vera were wonderful and the facility was nice. Highly recommend this experience while on the island.

This was such a great experience. We did a sunset horseback ride and it was perfect. My youngest was 7 and a little scared, the director was able to get her on the horse and comfortable in 5 minutes and the confidence she had after that was just incredible. The horses are very well cared for, and clearly enjoy their job. There's sugar cane along the trail, so they like to help themselves along the walk. 😀 My kids still talk about this ride and we can't wait to come back and do it again.

My husband and I had a great time here on our private trail ride! Our guide Tina was very friendly, fun, and informative. She let us make the most of the ride since we both have previous riding experience...not your typical ranch trail ride. We got to trot and canter through some absolutely beautiful scenery. The horses we rode, Leo and Cali were both very pleasant to ride and well-trained. All the horses we saw here looked healthy and well taken care of, which is important to me. Definitely recommend this place if you find yourself on Oahu!

I visited Kahuku Farms for the first time last week with a couple of friends. I had a wonderful time there. The experience I had there was one that I have been searching for since coming to Hawaii. It is chill, the workers are kind, and there is an overall calm at the farm. Amazing staff and wonderful place. The food can be pricey but you are paying for quality and freshness. I ordered a smoothie and it was great.

Amazing lunch spot! If you are visiting Oahu, make sure to stop by this place. We went there three times in a week. We tried different smoothies and food every single time and we were not disappointed.

Great spot to stop and grab a bite. I highly suggest ordering online before your arrival. This makes for an almost seamless transaction and pick up. The food was incredible we got the pizza and Açaí bowl with extra lilikoi and crumbles. Currently there are no tables to dine in but we were able to find a nice spot on the grass. Prices were great for such a niche spot on the North Shore.

One of my favourite places to eat in all of Hawaii. An absolute must not miss, this was the best papaya I have ever had in my life, the ice cream was a perfect accompaniment to it. The acai bowl was the only one I have ever had that I actually enjoyed. Avoid the coffee, it was a little weak

Kahuku Farms Cafe is a great roadside pit stop. The use of fresh farm ingredients in their dishes is evident, making every bite a burst of flavor. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the diverse and delicious options available. The scenic surroundings add to the overall charm. Their quick service makes it a must-visit for farm-to-table enthusiasts! 🌱🍴

It's a very good place to grab some delicious healthy food on your way to Northshore. They have very good vegetarian options with some very good smoothies

Our farm tour was ran by one of the owners. They are a family business, and it was very interesting and educational to hear how they started their farm business. Our farm tour included tasting some fresh picked fruit. Their bananas and papayas were some of the sweetest fruits we've tasted! The tour guide/owner was also patient enough to answer all of our questions. He even offered to take some photos for us. The cafe was also delicious, and their garden was immaculate. Highly recommend having lunch here. Their pizza and açai bowl were our top picks. One of the best açai bowls on the island!

Such a great little spot! We came here our first trip to Oahu years ago and had to come back on our next visit! Make sure you get the grilled banana bread with ice cream. It’s the best! The açaí bowl with lilikoi butter was also incredible! We also got the chicken Caesar salad and veggie pizza. Both were great. You really can’t go wrong here!

The grand tour and lunch at the cafe was a highlight of our trip!! Our entire group loved learning about the farm! Tasting cacao and papaya from the tree - incredible! Such a hospitable family doing fantastic things! Can't recommend enough!

Great place to stop for lunch. I got the Farm Pizza & Side Salad & added chicken. Their balsamic dressing was so good.. fruity & tangy. Then got plantation iced tea to drink . It tasted so good & fresh. The environment was relaxing. Enjoyed looking out at their farm and listening to music while enjoying my lunch. I like that ingredients are locally sourced . After we were done eating we walked around the farm . Definitely stop here if you drive by!

This is the perfect place to get a drink to keep cool while I watch my husband and work friends work on top turbines nearby. A couple of days ago, they took off blades and the roof of one to remove the engine. That way, they could work on the engine. Today, they are replacing the engine. Then, putting the blades back on and the roof. So they can get this one wind turbine back up and running. Thank you

Quick and amazing service. I tried the acai bowl (absolutely amazing cannot get it off my mind) grilled banana bread, ice cream and a coffee drink. I also highly recommend the butter mochi, I only had one due to getting quite a bit of food but next time ordering at least a dozen!! Everything was so FRESH and tasty. Very organized and love that they call your order number over the speaker and which spot to grab your order. Wish they had more outdoor seating!

100% best place to eat on North Shore. My family and I tried basically everything on the menu and you can’t go wrong. So fun as well to sit the back and enjoy the beautiful garden and sunshine. Overall 10/10 experience.

This is a really cool place. The general vibe was relaxing and cool. Very inviting. We had the panini sandwich(added grilled chicken), cheese pizzas, and the Açaí Bowl(wish it had coconut). Everything had really good flavor. Would recommend a stop here if you are close by.

This is a bucket list item for sure! Capt. Scott picked us up at the hotel and gave us an informational short ride to the launch location. Mike and Samantha took great care of us from the start. There were so many turtles! We gently paddled out to several spots where turtles hang out. Learning about the turtles and the local history was awesome. The bay is protected by a reef so there are no waves to worry about and sharks can't get in which is always reassuring. What a peaceful way to spend your morning.

Had the best time on the turtle kayaking tour. We were able to see a lot of turtles and enjoy the water. Both tour guides were very nice and friendly and shared a lot of turtle facts. Already looking forward to coming back. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely amazing experience to see the turtles without all the hassle down near Honolulu. The turtles here are not scared of the kayaks (which cannot be said for all the snorkelers). The guide counted 22 turtles on our adventure, but I am pretty sure I saw a handful more that she did t even count. I expected to see one or two turtles but we saw soooooo many. One even came up for air right in front of our kayak (inches from my face). Mahalo to Scott and his amazing team. Definitely something we will do again when we come back!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our guides Mike and Scott were phenomenal, providing a perfect mix of information and humor. We saw about 20 sea turtles during our tour. Mike was kind enough to take and send along a number of great pictures from our visit which was an unexpected and much appreciated bonus. I can not recommend Shaka Kayaks highly enough. A+++

Just went on this tour while staying at Turtle Bay. What an awesome way to start the day! Door-to-door service from the front desk, and they really thought of everything (there’s even a hose-down stop on the way back). The emphasis of this tour is definitely on turtle-spotting (we saw many!) and not on kayaking, but I found there was just enough paddling involved to feel like I earned my breakfast ;) The guides were super patient, knowledgeable, engaged and informative. The bay is just stunning and very secluded. I would definitely do this tour again! P.S. they’re very good with minding the time - I managed to squeeze this in on my last day and I was back at the resort in time to check out and catch my next flight!

Last month, Scott and his crew took us out on a kayaking adventure in a calm bay on the North Shore of Oahu. My family and I had a ton of fun. First off, we saw a lot of turtles - 18, IIRC. In addition, Scott is very knowledgeable about the turtles in that area and shared a lot of neat tidbits about them. Highly recommended! PS Scott also does bird watching tours in the area. Unfortunately, the timing didn't work out. Otherwise, I would have joined him on that as well. Thanks!

Hike along the horse trail at Turtle Bay Stables and see stunning views of Kawela Bay and Turtle Bay on your way to one of the island's Pill Boxes.

Great place to rent mountain bikes and get on the trails right from their front door. Friendly staff were very helpful with directions and flexible on our rental time.

The rental experience and bikes were fine but beware,trails are poorly marked. The trails you do find are multi purpose, either shared with horseback riders or golfers. The horse trails are all sand. We were riding with 2 kids,so either trail option was dangerous. In the future I would look for bike rentals with dedicated paved paths for biking.

Zach and the crew are very friendly, helpful and informative. The pricing for gear, bikes and all they have to offer is very reasonable. You won't go broke trying to have a good time. If we ever make it back to the area, we'll come back to the adventure center.

The trails offer plenty of diversity for multiple walking, hiking and biking levels as well as awesome scenic views! The rental bikes are rough due to consistent use and could use ALOT more attention.

An adventure that excites the mind, body and spirit! Learning to do something new is a boost in itself. By the end of the tour, you may get confident enough to do a few spins in locations where the guide gives you the thumbs up to safely take it up a notch. If you've already done Segway tours before, then maybe you have not done them in a Hawaiian place that offers fascinating geographical and cultural insights. Our guide was great at giving us the historical significance of our surroundings. Breathtaking scenery is at it's best! We were able to take a small hike off of the machines to connect with the spiritual energy of the northern most point of the island of Oahu. Hawaiians have a word for this amazing feeling. It's called mana. You really feel the life force energy in this powerful and scenic place! The staff and scheduling was extremely hospitable and gregarious. Love this place. I will tell everyone about it when they ask me what is there to do in Hawaii besides hiking and swimming. The Hele Huli Adventure Center of course!

So the pricing is totally what you expect from a place like this, however, after about 10 minutes the mask I rented kept getting water in it. I spent extra to get a full face mask to avoid this exact problem. I went back and the gentleman at the counter who check for any rips in mask. It appeared to be fine, just not compatible with my head/face shape. He advised he too has problems with that type of mask leaking with his head shape. I asked for a partial return of any sort as I was unable to use this rental. He advised he could let me try a different mask but that's it. As we had already established, it wasn't the mask, but my incompatibility with it so it would be a waste of my time. Super disappointed he didn't care that I spent nearly $40 for absolutely nothing. Poor customer service

I'll start by saying that I didn't rent anything here, but just by looking at their prices I can tell you that they're more than double what almost everyone else is charging on the North Shore. If you can you're definitely better off going to one of the places further west towards the main beaches were there is more competition.

Will not be returning. Credit card machine went down while it was processing my tee time transaction. Cashier rebooted the system and ran my card again, which created a duplicate charge. They alerted me that this might happen and to contact them if it did. Called the pro shop. Person I spoke with said the head pro wasn't available and asked me to call back, rather than take my number down and call me. Still haven't been able to reach them. Sent an email to the pro shop twice, haven't received any response in over a week. Had to file a dispute with my bank to get the charge reversed. The Palmer course and facilities were nice, but the customer service related to the issue I experienced has been non-existent.

My daughter did make a wish trip to Hawaii...waited 2 years for travel wishes due to covid restrictions. Her biggest thing was she wanted to golf with her dad. Got there for a 2:15 tee time, they had her on the driving range for 1.5 hours, and then there was no time to play 9 holes. Gave her a hat and sent her on her way. Huge waste of her last day on the island. Hopefully the foundation can get a refund as that was definitely not what they paid for.

Great resort course. Rental clubs were good quality. Pace of play was good. Played the Palmer course and it was in good shape. Only one hole is on the ocean (has a great view) on that course. Fazio course was closed/didn’t look like it had been open in months.

I played on the Palmer course. The second course is closed. The clubhouse is small but effective. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Special shout out to Roger who manages the range and tee times. I told him I was new to golf and not that great, and he gave me some spare balls and set me up on the red tees. Great communication as someone was being placed behind me on the back 9. This can often be intimidating for new golfers but Roger made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. The couple I was meant to be paired with cancelled so I was playing by myself which was ok. Lovely, very well maintained course. It is a 5 minute golf cart ride to the first tee and range, so allow good time for that. Really lovely scenery. As someone pointed out, only two holes have ocean views, but others have hill views and trees. There is no break between the front and back 9. There is a beverage cart that comes around - I've seen them on Instagram before but never in real life so I just waved her on. 😂 Heaps of challenges. Lost a couple of balls to the water, and I've become more confident with my bunker shots. The only drawback was they course mowing/maintenance during play. One hole had me inhaling some SOx and NOx. Hopefully they swap out to electric soon which will be less stinky and less noisy. Merch from the clubhouse isn't cheap - $100+ for a sports polo with the course's logo. All in all, a great day.

I booked this golf course on it's precieved beauty, layout, and good condition. It was none of the above. The layout was about as boring as it gets especially on the front 9. Back had potential but course conditions where well lacking. They charge $200 a round and I have played $30 muni's in better condition. The most frustrating thing came when hole after hole the greens were in absolutely terrible condition (see attached photos). I hit a lot of greens in regulation and could not capitalize because the greens were so bad. I wish I would have read other reviews before playing, so many better courses on the island for less. Do yourself a favor and avoid the drive and Turtle Bay golf, complete disappointment.

Amazing course, and fantastic staff and service. Played a round in January 2023 on our honeymoon and had a blast. Course was in fantastic condition and very well maintained. Was also blown away by the restuarant attached to the club house. One of the best meals we had in Oahu, no jokes. I hope to return again one day, until then I'll just have to continue dreaming!

Fantastic course, I will say. Much more challenging that I had presumed. The price, akin to everything in the Turtle Bay Resort, was disappointing. Golf for myself was pricey, including a discount. After asking what a friend had paid when we were out on the course, I nearly fell out of the golf cart. $383 for 18 holes of golf seemed excessive to me. (That did include rentals and cart) Otherwise I found it to be a great course. Staff excellent, Groundswork was ok. Driving range was excellent as well. It may be that I am just not accustomed to pricey golf. I might just be used to other prices, like Royal Hawaiian’s or anything that we have on the East Coast. Either way. Pricey.

Great course! Friendly staff! Rental clubs are very nice, but a bit expensive. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about because the couse was in great condition, no complaints at all. The 17th green has an amazing view of the ocean, but that's really it. There are two courses, we played the Palmer course.

Gorgeous extremely well maintained course! I’m new to golf so I can’t tell you difficulty level but it’s an amazing place to play a round, 17th hole is truly special! Great staff and you must check out the resort itself, it’s been fully renovated and feels more like a 5 star than a 4 star!

Played the Palmer course yesterday. Conditions where decent not great, buts it’s summer and the lack of rain will do that. Greens and fairways where in excellent condition. Tees and the two bunkers I found need help. Front 9 is wide open while the back 9 winds thru the reserve and is the better of the two 9’s. 17 green is the only hole actually on the ocean. I always enjoy my round here and will come back a few times during the year.

Great course especially with their 3-day package. Cart’s GPS comes in very handy for first-timers...but best to seek some tips from starters before teeing off. Course is a monster from the tips (especially the par 3’s). #turtlebaygolf

$900 for 4 to play. 1 refreshment cart passed by in 18 holes. Water fountains non functional. Mediocre greens. Only 1 hole had a view of the ocean. The highlight was seeing the albatrosses. Not worth the money.

Holy Moly!!! This was an incredible experience. A must do when visiting the island. Definitely do the Magnum PI doors off experience. I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. Tyler our pilot was great. Not only did he pilot the helicopter but also gave us a very detailed tour. Bring a light jacket and wear pants if you can, it gets chilly up there. They do have jackets to loan if you forget.

Do this if you can. It was a beautiful, fun, and exciting way to see the island. Go "doors off" for the best experience. Our pilot, Jacob, was amazing.

Took the North Shore tour and we were amazed! The beauty of the island itself is great, but the staff and our pilot were what made it so enjoyable. Friendly, helpful, patient, are just some of the words that describe how professional and good these folks are at their jobs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Plane ticket to Hawaii? $900 Helicopter Tour of Oahu? $400 Blowing chunks over Pearl Harbor? Priceless. (0/10 recommend for those with weak stomachs and/or anxiety. Views were amazing but I bout lost it in the air. Pilot very rad.)

We actually screwed up at our pickup destination, and they were so kind as to reschedule us first thing the next morning, as it was completely my mistake. They were very friendly. Very knowledgeable about the area, and I felt completely safe in the open doors helicopter! It was an amazing experience!

What a fantastic experience! I got engaged using Paradise Helicopters Tours and they were so easy to work with. They were discrete and professional. I felt taken care of by flying with them. I will be honest, flying in a helicopter is scarier than I thought, but the pilot remained calm throughout the entire ride and knew exactly when bumps would occur. He made sure to calmly explain everything to us and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Also, it is the helicopter from Magnum PI which was cool. Having no doors added to the excitement and then being able to land in Kualoa Ranch (where they filmed Jurassic Park) just added to the whole thing. Definitely fly with them! Thank you again!

This was an incredible experience. I was scared the entire time, very scared. My 2 daughters were not at all, and they loved every second of it. It was an absolutely beautiful experience and I'm so grateful that my first helicopter ride ws here. Our rides were right on time and everyone was informative and helpful.

This was something we just had to try before our vacation ended, and even though we only had a 20 minute flight - it didn't disappoint. The office staff and pilot were friendly and helpful, and the views were simply amazing. After a week of clouds and rain, to see the mountains and the beaches from above was the highlight of my vacation. Well worth what we paid.

I have always wanted to do this. We did it second day of our trip and it really set the tone for our Hawaii adventure. One correction, the wreck pointed out is the Utah, not the Oklahoma. We want to come back and do a volcanoes trip with Paradise. Thank you so much!!!

Be careful!!! The location is not here. It’s more then one hour drive. When they charged me, they said it’s not refundable and cancelled. Then they sent me an email with the address that is at the south. When I called back, they are very unreasonable. They just said the address is on my email. But, it’s not refundable!!! When I mentioned the point, they hung me up. How rude they are!!! This is only unpleasant experience we had at Hawaii. Shame on them!!!

I took three private lessons with Mike at Laniakea Beach on the North Shore and had so much fun! I would absolutely recommend him as a surf instructor. He was very kind, knowledgeable, friendly, patient and encouraging. I have previously taken a few intro surf lessons before but still felt intimidated surfing alone without an instructor. After the lessons, I feel much more confident about going out surfing by myself. What stood out from other surf lessons was that beyond just getting passively pushed into waves, we practiced reading the waves and wind, pick good waves and catching them at the right spot, surviving when huge waves comes, doing some turns. I picked up many practical skills beyond the pop up that I didn’t get from my previous surfing lessons elsewhere. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and I’m already itching to get back into the water again!

Charly and Heri were our surf instructors. We are a family of 4, 2 adults 2 teenagers, first time surfers. They really tried to get us prepared on the land before taking us out. Although there were reefs all along where we surfed they tried to keep us focused and safe the whole time in the water. It was so much fun. The amount of time in the experience was perfect, as surfing can be so draining. We were all so tired but loved our experience. It also helped that everyone in our group were supportive of each other and rooting each other on. Thanks guys!!

My wife and I had an amazing time learning to surf with Charlie at Hans Hedemann Surf School. From start to finish their staff was awesome getting us set up with a custom package (couples 3 day lesson) and were super flexible with us on timing once we got there. In the water Charlie got us on waves and had us standing up and surfing on our first day. From there we learned a lot during our days there we even ended up adding an extra day before it came time to go home. We cannot thank the school or Charlie enough for giving us the surfing bug we really had an amazing time.

Awesome Experience! My family of 4 had an amazing experience at Turtle Bay on Oahu! We are 48, 46, 13 and 12 years of age. All 4 of us went surfing. Our instructors Noah and Jack were incredible! They took our safety as priority and were totally fun to be around. We highly recommend this experience! Mahalo! -Big Nick, Little Nick, Debby and Sam.

We stayed for 4 nights at Turtle Bay and this was the highlight of our wonderful trip. We booked the Ohana ( family) package for a dad and 3 daughters (15,11,10) whom have never surfed before. Our main instructor was Jamie , and he was just great. He explained how to get up on the board in 5 steps. We practiced a couple of times on land then took the boards out. The surfing area is right next to the resort and my wife had a great view to watch us from the pool area. Jamie would help each of us wait for the right wave and tell us when to start paddling and when to stand up , and occasionally give us a push. To my amazement, we all were able to stand up and actually surf for 5-20 seconds. The area seemed very safe and they gave us good instructions on how to fall and avoid the reef. Jamie had a helper, Kiovo, who was also great. He waited closer to the shore to make sure my daughters were ok and got headed back to the breaks safely. At the end , we got a shirt and CD with great action pictures. I have never posted a review on anything before, but this activity greatly exceeded my expectations.

Terrific surf lessons. Local instructor was funny, polite, knowledgable and an all round nice guy. Took very good care of us. We learned and we did some surfing. Great location and a must if you're in the area. A+

Fantastic resort with a recently renovated common area, including 3 great pools (family, kids and adult). Guess rooms have not been renovated yet as far as I can tell, but are still comfortably appointed. I would've given 5 stars, except that the hotel unfortunately has had issues with their hot water, and anytime we wanted to take a shower/bath it would take a solid 10 minutes for the water to warm up.

Gorgeous resort. Staff is extremely pleasant, helpful and attentive. Hard to find fault. If I have any hesitation it is the cost of food at the resort, particularly in the Club. We added the Club access to our Bungalow rate and I would not do this again. Otherwise the experience was perfect.

This is perhaps the nicest resort hotel I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at a some really great ones. The open air lobby and vibe is the icing on the cake and sets the mood for a perfect vacation. The are so many activities on campus you only need to leave if you want to. Food is good as well. We will be back for sure.

This resort is absolutely gorgeous! We brought out two boys here for a family vacation, from the moment we arrived to service was excellent. Checking into our room was a quick and easy process, I love that they give bracelets instead of key cards, it made it so much easier. We stayed in an ocean front suite and I’m happy to say it was truly ocean front. The room was modern, the view was truly amazing. We’ve stayed at other hotels and had “ocean view” rooms they aren’t always a true ocean view. We loved the access to the beach, we spent most of our time down there enjoying the waves and sun. We dined at all the restaurants on the property, we loved the breakfast and dinner at Alaia, breakfast is pretty expensive, but the views can be beat. All and all, our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to return.

Awesome hotel! Loved the stay, all the TB workers were kind and friendly. Room was always cleaned just right. Pool was so nice! Special thanks to Austin from the Sales department for going above and beyond and making our stay memorable. Great employee, hang onto him- management material for sure! Golf was spectacular, only wish I could have played more! Only complaint was that room services dishes stayed on the floor in the hallway for over 24 hours. If you're going to Oahu, don't stay in Honolulu, go to the North Shore and stay at Turtle Bay.

In short, this is a 10/10. Rooms: clean, comfortable and quiet Location: if you’re looking for a more quiet and proper vacation, this is your spot. It’s got a relaxed vibe and not really a party scene. Restaurants: all of them were fantastic. The poke nachos at the front desk are amazing. And even the pool restaurant/bar meals are surprisingly good. Staff: the staff actually like working there and it shows up with how they serve you. A few of the bartenders we talked to had worked there for +15 years!! Views: breathtaking. From the front lobby to the room, you have to pinch yourself to make sure you’re awake Beaches: that may be the only disappointment, as there are better beaches a few coves down and in Waimea Gym: plenty of exercise equipment and space to do almost anything you need. Also, if you’re a runner, definitely jog the trail down the coast. You’ll run past some amazing views Extras: there is constantly things going on at the resort (surf classes, painting lessons, etc), so there is a little something for everyone It’s expensive but if you can save for it, it’s worth the money.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days for our honeymoon last week. The room was very updated and the view was amazing. However, that’s really where my compliments can stop. For the price, we expected people to be friendly and helpful. There was one woman the whole time who helped us get a $200 shuttle back to the airport. When we checked in, the man was kind but in a rush because the computers were at risk of crashing. Then at the bar, one drink is $25! I’m sorry, we are not cheap but that’s absurd. One night at sunset bar, we did not even receive silverware or napkins after waiting for quite some time. It is also very hard to get around and when we asked the concierge for local things to do, she told us we can hang out by the pool. Lastly, breakfast was included in our package yet when we checked out, it ranged from $23-45, to which they told us it’s only included to a limit (which we were never told). Overall, not how we wanted to start our honeymoon after traveling 13 hours to be there. We went on to stay on Kauai at a Hyatt and that was sooo much better.

Had a great time here. Our room was updated and looked very modern, spacious, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool area was fun for both adults and kids. The kids really enjoyed the little water slides the pool had to offer. The adults enjoyed the cocktails and food at the bar ;) The staff and servers were very friendly, however the staff near the pool (I'm guessing in charge of the pool area) would constantly ask us, as we passed by, to show our wrist bands. It felt very uncomfortable and weird, but I know we weren't being single out, because they were doing that to almost everyone! I just hope they train their staff to be a little smarter and maybe ease up on frequently asked to show our wrist bands. You've asked me 4 times now, you should know I'm staying here! Regardless of that blip, we really enjoyed our stay and all the amenities this place had to offer.

Turtle Bay was the perfect place to relax at the end of our busy trip. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We added the Club Lounge to our stay and it was the best thing we did. It made our stay very comfortable and Roxanne who greets you daily on arrival was an absolute delight. She was friendly, professional and always happy to help with information about the area. The trails around the property are great for walking and we were lucky enough to see seals and turtles during our stay. The only slight negative is that the adults only pool area is very small with little seating or shade and is located directly next to the kids water slides so is quite noisy. The family pools are very busy so the water by the afternoon is quite dirty and not nice to swim in. We would definitely come back here again on our next visit!

Loved our stay at this resort! The views from the room and pool deck are stunning. Great view of sunsets each night. Live music at both the outdoor and indoor bar each evening. Staff was incredible, from the housekeeping staff to the wait staff and even random employees we would encounter throughout the stay. Drinks and food are definitely pricey (although very good!) so for most meals we found many great food trucks and stands that didn't disappoint and were within 15 minutes drive both east and west.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and spacious, great pools, and nice beaches. The hotel is secluded and you can spend the afternoon exploring the grounds by foot. We hiked to the banyan tree, coves, the pillbox, the stables, etc. We brought snorkels and snorkeled 2 mornings in the small cove right by the hotel. Both days we saw sea turtles underwater!

Our stay at Turtle Bay Resort was fantastic. We enjoyed everything about it. We loved our view from our balcony. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean waves. We had great fun doing the Lei making class and learning to play the Ukulele. I was on a mobility scooter and got around the resort with ease even down to the beach. There were a lot of people there, but it did not seem crowded. We felt like we made new friends. The employees went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Everyone at this resort was so wonderful and kind!! We haven’t been able to take a vacation in a long time and this resort staff really made our week special. Awesome service, excellent food, and the girls at the concierge desk are so kind and lovely. Thank you for a great time and for the beautiful shell necklace that I will cherish <3

My husband and I stayed here for our tenth anniversary post renovation and this place is GORGEOUS. There are so many activities, experiences, and dining options! The entire staff on site has been outstanding and made our stay so enjoyable. I do want to mention Anya, specifically, who is a bartender between two (that we know of) dining locations. She's WONDERFUL. She gave us so many recommendations, was super friendly and personable, and even humored some of our sillier requests. We absolutely adore her and her shining customer service.

We stayed in a condo at the resort. Turtle Bay is stunningly beautiful, so well maintained. Service impeccable. Beaches perfection. Family loved it. One afternoon, my son and I spent the afternoon wondering around the property and had a great time shopping, taking photos, watching the waves and talking about so many important things while enjoying the view and facility. This is a great place to be. Will be back for sure!

Having been here back in 2019 the resort has made quite a few upgrades to the look and feel of the place. The lobby has undergone a total transformation that really makes this place feel like an exclusive resort. Think Four Seasons or Ritz. Love what they did to the place. The location, as before, is always breath taking. Construction is still happening but doesn't seem to be obtrusive. It was nice to re-visit the location after so many years and see that they are very much invested in making improvements.

We had an almost perfect vacation at Turtle Bay. The hotel was recently renovated and everything looks brand new and fancy. The rooms are very comfortable and have amazing views of the Bay. The pool area is beautiful and works for both adults and kids (my son had a blast in the slides). There's plenty to walk around and to do in the resort, like horse riding, riding bikes and playing pickle ball. There were two flaws during our stay though: the room was not well cleaned when we arrived and the attendant/service on the beach kiosk was not very helpful and polite with us.

The views from the room were amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is a big deal for my wife and the sheets, bathroom, and all amenities were clean and well cared for. The dining on the resort was about what you expect on a resort and priced accordingly. We golfed and the course was in great shape and a fun challenge(most our group was 3-8 handicaps). Pools were great and the activities provided were more than we even had time for. Surfing, horseback, pickle-ball, snorkeling, helicopter tours. We were worried about feeling isolated if we wanted to go into a town but that quickly went away we were close to Waimea Bay and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Highly recommend for relaxing trip or if you want activities to do in your resort.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location! Well worth it. Rooms were large, well laid out and appointed, nice seating on the balcony. People were friendly and helpful. Can’t beat the sunset views! Pools and beach were fantastic hangouts. Very laid back, relaxed vibe. A world away from the frenzy of Honolulu.

We were looking for the ultimate relaxing experience and found it at Turtle Bay! Stayed in the bungalows which was the perfect choice as we were mere steps from the ocean and enjoyed plenty of time on our private patio enjoying the ocean sounds along with the pristine grounds. Outstanding service complemented the scenery and it made our stay a perfect "10". Will definitely come back and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

This place is pure serenity. I always hate to leave the hospitality, care, and comfort of this gem on the North Shore. There is a healing power in hearing the powerful waves during sleep and seeing such a beautifully kept ground with its native flora. The food was delicious, the amenities top notch, and the accommodations lovely. Recent renovations have made it so upscale and its retention of the aloha spirit makes it a true oasis.

Okay, just to get this straight and you should know up front that this place is not cheap. Also understand that the service you get here is nothing less than 100%. People here definitely love their job and it shows everywhere you go, everywhere you look, and everybody you talk to. If you can afford to stay here I would definitely do so. It's probably on par with any Disney resort and possibly cheaper. I know for sure that it's 100% better. This side of the island is much better than the South side where Waikiki and Honolulu are. I give this place a 100% recommendation.

This is a great retreat from city life and a true 5-star experience. They offer so many amazing activities, such as necklace flower making, ukulele intro lessons, biking, snorkeling, and much more. Contact their concierge to inquire about free and paid activities. I would highly recommend having a car if you plan on being there for a week or more, as you may want to explore the island. Expect a one-hour drive each way between the resort and Honolulu. The food does get better as you head towards Honolulu. I enjoyed the snorkeling as well, and my kids enjoyed catching their own fresh coconuts.

My wife and I returned here for six nights last week. Our previous stay was during renovations in 2022. The location, property and views are all excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous. We will return again. On the downside, I always try to opt out of constant review requests. They kept coming despite my opt out request. Finally, the before and after communications left a lot to be desired. The resort never responded to my questions before I arrived at the resort. I was told I would get an email of my zero balance statement and this never occurred (even after numerous requests).

Peaua was awesome and super sweet waited on me and son at the hot tub. The best poke bowl ever. Her baby is due around both my son and I birthday. Jordan was another awesome person at the breakfast buffet. He was also super nice about helping us later with the bus routes. I liked how his aloha spirit came out naturally and gave us great tips about the area and fresh produce.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villas. It was nice being able to have 1 unit large enough for all our family to enjoy together. Our only issue was the AC we called 3 times and it was fixed in half the unit but one unit never worked properly which made 2 of the bedrooms always too warm. Thankfully they had ceiling fans but still they should have been more comfortable. The resort is wonderful and we enjoyed the location as well being away from the congestion of Waikiki was nice.

beautiful, quiet resort on the North Shore. Oahu w/out all of the business & touristy-ness of Honolulu. Apparently has been recently remodeled (?) and certainly looks and feels that way. The various activities offered - surf lessons, cowboy luau, night snorkeling, surf w/pups, were all fabulous and well organized. the grounds were immaculate and stunning. kinda like staying at a botanical garden. Stayed in the Bungalows - Gorgeous. Concierge was just fabulous - so helpful and responsive. an amazing stay in an amazing location.

My wife and I recently had a stay at Turtle Bay Resort, and the one adjective that rises to the top: Exceptional. We stayed in a bungalow, and the room, amenities, design and proximity to the water were just amazing. The Ocean Club Lounge and private pool also added incredible value to the overall experience. The staff, food, and attention to detail made our stay truly world class. We have travelled extensively for both business and leisure, and this stay ranks in the top five of any destination we've visited in the world. Thank you for making this visit with family truly remarkable.

Trip of a lifetime for our family of four at Turtle Bay Resort. From the time we pulled into valet and were met enthusiastically by the valet, Tony. He immediately shared his favorite surf spot with my 13-year-old when he saw his board, and the positive energy just continued radiating throughout the check in process. The treasure chest at check in was a huge hit with my daughter. Housekeeping was INCREDIBLY hospitable as we made our way to our room, and the room itself was straight out of a magazine. The small touches like the postcards with Hawaiian words, the beautifully curated resort experience guide, and the recyclable refillable water bottles were top notch. One of the most memorable and beautiful hotels I have ever traveled to and experienced.

Did not stay at the resort, but at the condo complex within the property. Really beautiful property and the best part was the trail system in either direction which connected the place to other less visited beaches. Attended a wedding here, the lobby area was beautiful, the wedding ceremony was in an awesome location. The food was very good also

We stayed at Turtle Bay Resort primarily so I could play golf at the course. I've done a separate review there. The North Shore offers something different to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It's definitely worth staying here even though the room rate is expensive. The rooms are well appointed. There are a few bits that could be improved like the shower head and some finishing. We also had issues with the air con turning off in the middle of the night which affected our sleep. The views from our room were awesome. The beach is great for families and snorkeling. The pools are great. Honestly, a standout.There's a family friendly pool and adult pool. They look into the North Shore waves. Cocktails are served at the pool, and they're good. One minor critique would be to simplify the pricing of the cocktails. The food offering could be improved. We loved the cocktails at the lobby restaurant but the food wasn't great. The service was extremely slow for food. Same for the poolside restaurant. They're also expensive for what you get. Service was good. Staff are lovely. They must be well treated as many have been there for awhile and are friendly. The full fledged restaurant was amazing. Great service and best pork chops I've ever had. The resort texts you if you're enjoying your stay, and we replied no but there was no follow-up. We did have an issue with an item going missing from the pool. It was an honest to god innocent mistake, and it was resolved after a manager got involved. We absolutely would stay here again, but we'd need to figure out a game plan about food and the air con.

Many thanks for the beautiful week at turtle Bay. The bungalows were the perfect place to stay, and we were specially happy to have adjacent rooms for ourselves and our two children.(Really adults at 19 & 22!) We were grateful that the concierge Acted graciously when we complained about the presence of a child at the adults, only pool near our room. It was a difficult thing to bring up and we were treated with respect. The location of this resort is spectacular with the ocean out the window when we woke up every morning, beautifully planted, Great activities we especially liked the farm tour I have to be honest: I found that since my last visit to turtle Bay about 8 years ago, the carpets and linens. All the fabric elements of the room seemed a bit worn. I wonder if if it is due for a refurbishing. I hate to complain at all, as it is such a spectacular Experience to be there. Maid service in the room was terrific Complied quickly and easily with my requests. Same goes first waiter. Service by the pools and in the restaurant food was great. Goes without saying we will return to turtle Bay as soon as possible. It’s a long flight from New York, but well worth it.

I was threatened by the landowner for meditating on the corner of the public road (next to my house). He shined a police flashlight on me as I sat silently, not disturbing anyone, nor anywhere near his property. I thought he was a police officer so I waved, he didn't move, so I got up and waved all the way to his truck. I told him he was scaring me, and he said, "Oh I'm scaring you? I can scare you a lot more lady. This is my property." I told him I was living down the road (and I have been for months) and he said, "No, you're renting." I asked his name, told him mine, repeated that we were neighbors, and he said, "I can scare you." And drove off at pace. There was a giant Trump banner on this house when we moved in. Put your money where you want. This is not Aloha spirit. Don't support these people.

Absolutely amazed by the skilled craftsmanship of this family of master carvers! If you’re looking for quality handmade local art to decorate your home with and/or take with you as an authentic souvenir from your trip to Oahu, you will find it in this shop. It’s worth the long (and beautiful!) drive to North Shore to see the artwork of fourth- and fifth-generation master carvers in the Naeata family. Realistic wood carvings of sea turtles, humpback whales, manta rays, and more hang alongside large tikis of Hawaiian gods. Additionally, there are beautifully crafted wooden bowls and dishes as well as carved jewelry such as bone fishhooks and whale tail necklaces with shell inlay. This family is working hard to keep this art alive and are currently training the next generation of young carvers. Buy local art to support local artisans and families and own an authentic piece of Hawaiian art! Made in Oahu, made in Hawaii!

If you're looking for hand carved, one-of-a-kind authentic Tiki's and amazing sea life carvings this is the place. More importantly, the Naeata's are an amazing family; kind, caring, and friendly. I can't wait to get back and see there work, and find a reason to take something else home with me.

Fantastic hand carving artisans, some of the best I've seen and doesn't have the bad produced look or feel. They also have something for every price point, so it's still a good place to check out even on a budget.

While my wife and I were driving on the Kamehameha Highway along the northern section of O'ahu, Hawaii (31 Aug 2018) I saw a large wood carving outside a shop so we stopped. After looking at the wood carvings that were standing outside we went inside for a look. A few minutes later we met the owner plus he is the master carver that created these fantastic pieces of art Tonu Naeata. He explained to us some of the types of wood used in the making of some of these elaborate designs. His two sons Sini and Hamani are also artists and they have all traveled around the world to make large carvings for other customers like in front of a hotel or company. I asked him if it was ok with him to let me shoot pictures while he continued to explain the various types of Tiki figures and what they mean. He also explained how they create some of the pendants which are carved from whale bone (not ivory). We talked to Tono for about 45 minutes and picked out a few pieces of his work that we wanted, wish I had more room in my suitcase! So if you want an original hand made piece of art then you need to make a trip here and also have a talk with Tono a very interesting and friendly guy.

It’s on the map, on the website, and there are signs outside; however, the door was locked and there was no answer when knocking. Kind of drove up on a Saturday, specifically to go to this gallery and found nothing. Very unimpressive.
