Its was amazing experience. There are six islands to explore their culture. Lots of activities and shows which takes full day. We were exhausted but it was fun. Last but not the least canoe experience completes the real Hawaiian experience. We also watched the Ha show which is mind blowing. Definitely recommend this place for visit. Make sure you download the app or have map and plan your day in advance. Guided tour is recommended for family. Food options are at the main entrance and some are inside.

It is absolutely worth the trip. Loved the comedy, the jokes, and the information on the islands. How they sailed island to island, how they still use the same style boats, and students learn to make replicas, sail them, and donate them. Informative while entertaining. I love that they are supporting students from all over the place. Had the buffet, was delicious, I've got stomach issues, and nothing there bothered my stomach. At every show, people were enjoying the performers. You can tell the performers enjoyed what they do, and everyone I talked to was polite, smiling, and very accommodating. It's not a museum. It's informative entertainment. And with every penny..

This is a wonderful place for families to visit while I’m Hawaii. Very educational & fun hands on experiences for adults & children alike. You MUST see “ The HA “Breath of life” show. It was so amazing!! Students from all over & local dancers are extremely enthusiastic & entertaining!! We went to the center in the day& then back at night for the show. Also the area of food court is great place! 119$ each for Cultural Center & Night show … well worth it !!

I have always wanted to bring my family to the Polynesian Cultural Center so this was a greatoment for all of us. The place looks different from what I remember 18yrs ago more compact lots of newer buildings crowding in open spaces and more food trucks. The Night was completely different but the way the story connects all the islands is wonderful. I love the energy and effort the students put into their performance they did outstanding. All in all it's one of the best places I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to meet culture, people and learn from them but Mostly also support a great course that allows students to earn while they study abroad.

The grounds are beautiful and our tour guide was so sweet the whole day! She is a local college student but originally from California and recently studied in Brazil. She was so nice and even offered to take our pics over and over. Such a good time. She asked us what activities we were most interested in and made sure we were able to do them. James at the Luau was amazing! He went above and beyond servicing us. I wish others got to experience his joy but I’m so happy we were able to! Such a sweet kind soul and made the luau worthwhile.

Visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center was an incredible experience. The shows and exhibits were beautifully curated, offering a perfect blend of education and entertainment. I was especially impressed with the punctuality, organization, and efficient management throughout the center, making everything run smoothly. It's also fantastic how they support graduate students. Overall, it was a five-star experience that was both enriching and delightful. Highly recommend for an insightful and engaging day out!

This place is beautiful. The stories told by the performers are interesting and educational. The performances are breathtaking and fun. It is really a full day experience. Don't short change yourself and leave early. If you can do the luau there I would recommend that so you don't have to leave at 6pm. Don't forget the ukulele lessons!

Great place to emerge into the Polynesian cultures and learn about each island culture and language. Definitely a fun and family friendly place to be at. A big plus is that they let you come back for 3 additional days for free so you can see and do other activities. I recommend you pay for the fire dance Hā (Breath of Life) and the Luau for the full experience. Friendly reminder to be there when they open at 1230 so you can spend more time/see more things at the center.

Great family experience. We came as couple for the first time. All the activities were awesome 👏. The cultural presentations were very informative and entertaining. The workers are very friendly and helpful. We bought Go City pass for saving which included 47 places to visit in Oahu island 🏝️

This was an awesome experience! This was worth the price, especially if you are interested in learning about different Polynesian cultures. All the presentations were interesting and pretty entertaining. The buffet and the late show sent this experience over the top! This has to be at the top of your list when visiting Hawaii.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is an absolute must-visit when you’re in the area. To make the most of your experience, I highly recommend getting a guide. They are incredibly beneficial because they know how to pace things out and are eager to customize your visit based on your preferences. It’s a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the rich cultures of the Pacific. During our visit, we had the opportunity to explore and experience all of the cultures, except for one, which I didn’t mind at all. We arrived at around 12:30 PM and decided to participate in the luau, a decision we absolutely don’t regret. The food was a culinary delight with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The luau experience included the iconic fresh flower lei, and the buffet-style dining was a feast for the senses. After indulging in the luau, we stayed for the evening show. While it was entertaining, we did find it a tad lengthy. Perhaps shortening the show could be considered, but this might also have been influenced by the full day we spent exploring the cultural center. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center, and I personally plan to return if I have the opportunity to visit again. It’s a place that truly allows you to appreciate and celebrate the rich diversity of Polynesian cultures.

Would give it five stars but $187 for TWO tickets is a bit overpriced. But I would still go again. Everything was impeccably clean and absolutely beautiful. A very nice touch was having employees stationed every so often directing people and answering questions. The shows are definitely worth waiting around for because they are very well done and just take your breath away.... You definitely want to get here early, it's a lot to take in and see. I definitely got the feel of a theme park rather than a culture center though. Overall we were blown away by everything in the park....top notch friendly staff everywhere. BRAVO

This was my favorite thing we did on our trip. It was fun to learn about the different cultures and countries. We loved having our own tour guide, the boat ride, the luau and buffet dinner, and the Breathe of Life Fire Show. Your ticket gets you into the PCC to go see anything you may have missed in the villages for a second day. Wish we had an extra day to go back.

Such a great experience! So much to see and do. Plan to spend time at each of the different islands. You can easily spend a couple days here. The Lu'au was fantastic! The food was excellent and the show was very entertaining. Also, if you're a vegetarian, there is still plenty to choose from. Ask your attendant and they will give you a card listing all the vegetarian options. The Breath of Ha performance was amazing! Well worth the price of admission alone.

At first was a bit skeptical after seeing the price but once inside it is a very impressive site. You are taken to various Polynesian lands to learn about the indigenous cultures. Among the islands represented is Samoa, Fiji, Hawaiian Island, New Zealand as well as couple others. There is lot of hands off demonstration from basket weaving to Poi tasting. There is many staff at each place to answer questions. All islands have shows of various kinds. We were most impressed with Samoa and it tree climbing and fire dances. The various programs do an excellent job at increasing awareness of the each cultures uniqueness and origin. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and friendly. The staff is very attentive. There are many things to engage young and old. Well worth a visit but it would take at least a full day to get all there is offered seen. There prices once inside is very fair, such as cold bottled water for $1.50 and lots of bottle filling stations. Park is immaculate. Parking is free. Clearly well managed.

My husband and I had so much fun here. We’re glad we chose to spend a day at the Polynesian Cultural Center during our Honeymoon. We bought tickets for their shuttle service and Ha (Breath of Life) show. Our bus driver was nice and talked to us about Hawaiian history, random facts, and dining recommendations on the way to the center. We enjoyed all the shows and interactive activities as well as the food. The employees’ demeanor stood out as everyone seemed happy to work there and was very attentive. The show at the end of the night was incredible. Great experience overall. :)

Had such a good time. I was afraid my 12 year old son would get bored because it was a somewhat educational center but he had a great time! We paid for the highest package which included the luau and Ha show. We just wanted front row seating and splurge since it was our first time in Hawaii. We didn't know until we got there that we had our own personal tour guide. It was amazing. She took us to see key parts of each island and I'm glad I didn't have to worry about planning what activities to do next; she did it all for us. Definitely worth it for a vacation!

It was fantastic experience ever in Hawaii. I strongly recommend this site. If you go to Hawaii trip, you have to reserve the ticket in advance your travel. The weather was fantastic. We choose the buffet tour. It was really nice. There are so many food are there. My family members was satisfied with that answer that we saw a fantastic performance we realize that Hawaii’s history.

An amazing experience! We went all out and had our own private tour for the day. It was well worth it. We were pampered and felt very special. We learned so much and made incredible memories.

Tons to see and do here; a great deal of cultural displays and activities, broken up and presented by Island nations. The performers and activity guides are really committed to delivering an authentic experience. For anyone traveling from Honolulu, DON'T take a cab or Uber, or try and rely on the shuttle. Do yourself a favor and rent a car for the day. It's over an hour away from Waikiki Beach.

I really enjoyed being able to experience Hawaiian culture. All of the staff were kind and staff from each country helped me, so I was able to get to know them more deeply. I feel that the culture of the Polynesian Islands should be valued. I would like to go again with my family.

I visited the Polynesian Cultural Center back in 2017 with my parents and again few days ago for Honeymoon! It’s a great place to visit both for family trip and honeymoon! So much to see with good vibes! We loved our guide Clabs :) also the Luau was amazing, the buffet is to die for!!!

It was one of the best days we had on our vacation!!! While the ticket prices may scare some people off, the tickets are good for 3 days!! So no need to do everything all in one day:) we did get the cheapest tickets just because we had our kids with us and we had been before and didn't need a guided tour or any extra stuff. You can upgrade your tickets later if you want:) - visiting all the islands was great! All the islands had shows, games and lots of fun activities to do! I was kind of worried my kids would get bored or tired, but they really loved everything and the interaction they got from the people. Everything was so clean, people were polite and kind, respectful and it was just a happy place! We will be back! The food trucks outside of the center are amazing!!! The Malasada donuts were so good along with the Korean BBQ food truck! You have to try them!:)

My wife and I did the 1.5 hour scenic tour, and it was beautiful! Our wrangler, Gabi, was excellent, and she shared some good stories and conversations along the way. The 1.5 hour scenic tour is perfect for people like me who have little to no experience with horses. My wife grew up with horses, so it was a little easy for her; however, she still loved the experience. The free petting zoo was a nice added bonus as well! Overall, Gunstock Ranch was a great experience.

Best sunset ride ever!! Alice was so nice, so professional, and my horse Patriot was an absolute dream! The ride itself was amazing too - the perfect length, beautiful views, lots of great things to see (baby cows, wild pigs, beautiful trees and flowers, and of course the sunset!!) - a wonderful wonderful ride. We had an incredible experience. I made reservations for 3 keiki pony rides, the kids had a BLAST, the horses were very sweet. Ms. Addie was our "trail guide" and she was just perfect. So kind, knowledgeable about the ranch, and great with our kids. After their pony ride the kids were able to brush and feed the ponies. There's also a small petting zoo and bunnies. 10/10 recommend to all your friends

We had the most wonderful time on the 2 hour sweetheart tour! Ben, our tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about the area. Lunch was surprisingly amazing too! Seriously the best experience, we will for sure be back and hoping we get Ben as our tour guide again!! Love this place! We also absolutely LOVED the petting zoo. Overall the perfect experience all around!

I loved going horseback riding here. My horse was wonderful. The three guides were great but I can only remember Caleb's name. He was nice. He interacted with my group a lot and made us feel welcomed. I wish I would've had more time to go for an advanced tour.

Emma was an excellent guide and kept the pace easy for my wife. It was a beautiful morning. The horses are well cared for and responsive. Emma shared the history of Gunstock Ranch and we even learned about some of the vegetation growing on the ranch.

Our family had a lot of fun with our 1 hour ride. I wish we would have booked a longer ride. Our horses were friendly, calm and so pretty! The views during the ride are great and the staff are all so nice! We will definitely book through Gunstock Ranch if we are back on Oahu again. Recommending to our family and friends as well!

It's a beautiful place with beloved horses, dogs and more. The riding is easy, horses well trained (also for those not yet familiar). I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the hour-long horseback riding adventure at Gunstock Ranch in Oahu, and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. The scenery surrounding the ranch was breathtaking, with lush greenery and stunning views of the ocean. The horses themselves were not only well-trained but also incredibly lovable, adding an extra layer of joy to the ride. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing, and I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 for customer service and overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Gunstock Ranch to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure on the beautiful island of Oahu.

We had a wonderful time doing the private sweetheart ride with a picnic lunch at the top. I was impressed with the amount of food provided for the lunch. Our wrangler Ashley was awesome, she had some great stories about the history of the land and Hawaii in general. Our horses were beautiful and well behaved, and the guide horse Maisy had quite the personality!

Phenomenal experience. Super friendly people and great horses. The views are unbeatable. My daughter rides horses in Texas and desperately wanted to do a mommy-daughter trail ride with me on our vacation in Hawaii. I booked the “sweetheart” ride for us. The morning of the ride, our car rental reservation got lost and we were running late to get from Waikiki to the North Shore as I scrambled to find a car. I called the ranch and let them know we would be about 30 mins late and they were very accommodating. Huge relief because we thought we would have to cancel! Since it was a 2 hour event, they allowed us to ride for over an hour then take our food and drinks with us afterwards. It all worked out! We were so worried we would miss the entire ride, but the Gunstock Ranch team came through and made it happen. We are so grateful and impressed. My daughter, who was born on Oahu, wants to move back someday and work for Gunstock Ranch and their 50+ gorgeous horses ❤️ Thank you to our wranglers, Ocean and Brooke, for a wonderful time and excellent photos!

I recently visited Gunstock Ranch and had an amazing experience on their 1.5 hour horseback ride. The guides, Lillian and Mateo, were fantastic. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure that everyone in the group felt comfortable on their horses. The horses themselves were well trained and followed the trail with ease. While we were waiting for our ride, we had the opportunity to visit their free petting zoo. It was a wonderful addition to our experience. The animals were all well taken care of, and it was a fun way to pass the time. One of the goats even jumped on my back when I knelt down to pet it! Overall, I highly recommend Gunstock Ranch. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, their guides and horses will ensure that you have a great time.

We had the best time at Gunstock Ranch! This is our third time, and every time we go, it is filled with so much joy! We had the best cowboys, Mateo and Bryce, who took my two year old daughter and her grandma on a beautiful ride. The men were kind, funny, and very knowledgeable. Our horses, Mango and Nelly, were so gentle and sweet! We rode, fed, and brushed the horses. We had the best morning, and the ride was a joyful scenic route! You should 100% do this with your family!

Short version: If you’re are on the fence about going here, don’t be. The experience is well worth the money and you’ll leave with a huge smile on your face. The horses were great, the staff was better and we loved every moment. Wow. What can I say but WOW? My husband and I are new to the Hawaii and so far this is one of the best experiences we’ve had in our travels. First the staff is perfect. I have zero complaints. Our guide was named Isa and she really knows her stuff! I was continuously impressed by her knowledge of the plant life and the local history of ranch and even the island. She was very pleasant to speak to. My husband and I got to ride Raider and Skeeter. The horses were well mannered, well trained, and easy to ride. The trails we went on were gorgeous. Everywhere we went was beautiful and had a deep history that Isa (again, she was wonderful) filled us in on. The fish dish my husband ordered for our sunset dinner was delicious. I got the pasta and we ended sharing but I definitely liked his food more than mine 😂 We will be coming back!

Love the way the ranch looks and operates, our guides Addie & Apache (please give him a rice crispy treat from us) were incredible. My husband booked a sunset dinner ride for our anniversary and we couldn’t have had a better time. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our guide, Lexi, was the absolute best! Very friendly, informative, and shared great conversation. Anela provided the food right before we got there. Everything was well planned and executed. The views are beautiful and the animals are the sweetest! Would go again!

My husband and I did the sweetheart experience with advanced riding. We absolutely loved it! The horses were amazing and responsive. We had Aspen and Connor along with us and they both were great. Easy to talk to, relaxed and very knowledgeable with horses and the history of the ranch along with the nature of the area. The picnic was pretty cute and provided us with lots of food and drinks! We recommend anyone thinking of doing advance riding to make sure you're comfortable with horses, balance and heights.

Unforgettable experience! Tyler was a great tour guide and we throughly enjoyed our private sunset trail ride with a cozy picnic dinner by the fire… we even had smores! They’re all very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The horses are very well trained. You can feel how much everyone truly enjoys being there. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a true ranch experience from start to finish. They also have a small petting zoo area! Also thank you to Mango, Denali and Freddy for the great ride! We had a nice time on our on hour trail ride with my 2 teen daughters. I paid for my 2.5 year old son to ride a pony and he screamed in terror and refused to get on. Of course when I asked him if he wanted to he said yes. They, of course wouldn’t refund us. Which is sad since we were on a Make a Wish foundation sponsored trip for my ill daughter with limited funding. This would be my only complaint. They should consider changing this for small children as I’m sure this happens very often. They just keep the money and nothing in exchange. Update: I received a notice shortly after submitting my review that a refund was submitted which I truly appreciate. The woman I spoke with shortly after our ride said she did reach out to management and they told her no. I’m not sure who changed their mind but thank you.

Breath taking views. A great short pit stop for a perfect photo op! Parking space is pretty limited though so be prepared for that. But trust me, it's worth the stop if you want to be amazed with mother nature and her beauty.

We listened to an audio tour guide who said to turn into this residential neighborhood. At first it had some concerns but I followed directions and was pleased to find this wonderful view. All I could do was imagine living there and watching the sunsets every night... Enjoyed the time I had

Gorgeous. I don't know how people find this place, but it's a hidden gem. All it is is a natural hole in a rock formation, but it's very picturesque. If you can find it, I would recommend it. There are only about 8 parking spaces, but most people are only there a few minutes to take pics then leave.

Jutting eastward into the pacific blue, this rugged stretch of land is reached best by foot as vehicle parking is limited at best. There is a shopping center at the origin of the road that takes you to the point. A family of fishers were there the first time we went out. The walk onto the point was coarse so proper footwear is a must. Sneakers. No sandals or flipflops if you want sure footing and you do want sure footing. Watching the surf break and looking onto the stoney outcroppings makes for a worthwhile visit. Take care walking along the roadway to and from. Most motorists were very cordial to those of us on foot. Parking was the chief shortcoming to this beautiful spot. 15-30 minutes is what most visitors spend here.

This was a beautiful spot to find and take pictures at! Parking is scarce & a little difficult since it's just a small look-out point but it was worth stopping at. There are areas that you can get splashed or sea-misted and areas you can Sea the little tide pools. I definitely recommend wearing a hiking shoe or grippy water shoe as the rock you walk on is very rough. The little rock island you can see past the point is a cool sight as well!

Beautiful lookout, not recommended for jumping this is a relentless and strong current at certain times of the day. Unless you are an advanced swimmer and have correct footwear would not recommend, ensure you have someone watching if you are thinking of jumping. Current is susceptible of slamming you onto rocks injuries are bound to happen if not careful.

We stopped here for photos after church. Made the perfect ending of our adventure out. Then on Saturday January 20 2024 my husband took me back here to watch the sunrise. After the sun was fully risen the whales started breaching the little one completely the big one only surfaced a little. It was amazing to see and I'm truly blessed and thankful God woke me up to witness his amazing creations and artwork in the sky.

Great place to walk out and just enjoy. Rocks are sharp in areas, so recommend shoes, not bare feet. Interesting rock formations. Not super crowded, so makes for a nice To sit and enjoy.

I drove all around Oahu but this was my favorite stop. Its a really dramatic seascape that surrounds you. Huge waves crash against the cliffs, and through a unique window rock. Mountains off in another distance. It's in a subdivision so limited parking, but worth a visit to contemplate the power of Mother Nature.

Nice views of the ocean and rock features. Clear water view. You can take some great pano shots with mountains and ocean in the background. Can get windy. There are no services here, and it's located at the end of a neighborhood street. Parking is limited and tight.

Great viewing spot. Not great parking but we'll worth it if you can find a spot. Just off the main road but your photo album will thank you

This isn't a magnificent national or state park, but for no cost and the convenience of access, (no hiking required) it's a must see if you happen to be on the north shore of Oahu. There's a very nice sea arch, which, if on another island you'd have to drive miles to get to. The waves crashing on the rocks is just a beautiful and exciting sight to watch.

Very beautiful location! There was a scene from Forgetting Sarah Marshall filmed here. Parking lot is small, you may have to park down the street in the residential area.

If you are passing by the North Shore this point is definitely worth seeing. This are gives an incredible view of the surrounding shoreline and beaches. There is also a cave here to check out and some awesome cliff jumping. Parking can be difficult here. There are limited spaces but I believe you are also able to park along the road.

Beautiful lookout. No beach access. Very little parking on residential street. Maybe 6 places? But people don't stay for long.

Lāʻie Point State Wayside is a must stop and see point of interest in a beautiful setting on Oahu. A short drive off the main highway takes about 5 minutes to get to the Lāʻie Point State Wayside. Once at the Lāʻie Point State Wayside, park and take a short walk around, and you will see some of the most beautiful, pristine, and interesting ocean views and rock formations. Nice picturesque ocean front wayside stop. Parking can get tricky, especially on the weekends. Nice expansive views of the Oahu coastline. A good interpretive area that gives visitors insights to the legends and culture of the area. Worth the detour off the main highway.

This is the BEST SHOW I EVER SAW IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. It is SO spectacular. Amazing. It is beautiful, funny, sad, the dancers are amazing, such a beautiful story and I loved that it represented all the polynesian cultures. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT. SO WORTH IT. Please note that you cannot that any videos or pictures but then you can really live the experience 100%.

Spectaculare! This show blew my mind, it was simply amazing and emotional. Every single performer/Musician ist full of passion, energy, power and love of the polynesian cultures. Energetic, beautiful dancing and singing as a live performance with nice show Elements such as fire. A must see!

This is a nice show. I went here while visiting Hawaii and was satisfied with my experience. This show is about two people who fall in love and have a child, and it’s divided into multiple scenes, one for each main Polynesian island. Each scene features a traditional dance from the island it’s named after. These dances are large, elaborate, and very well choreographed. There are also multiple parts where it’s completely dark and fire twirlers throw batons with fire on each end to each other. The ending of the show was great. I gave this show five stars because it has a great ending, great dances, good plot, and excellent fire twirlers. The narration of the story is in Hawaiian, but the show was so good that I was still invested in its plot and on the edge of my seat despite not understanding what they were saying.

This show was better than ANY Broadway Production!! You have GOT to see this! Dont Miss it! Wear your mask, and cell phones off (no pictures or video).

Beautiful show- so worth the price of tickets 😍 We paid for the Gateway Buffet- so many choices from Veggies, chicken, seafood, pork and many desserts! 😋 And the villages were so fun. The ladies who taught us how to play the Ukulele were a blast! 10 out of 10- would do it again!

This show was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Breathtaking performances, moving story. I was in awe. The performers are incredibly talented and their endurance during this high-energy show was remarkable. I often get bored during musicals, but this was engaging from start to finish. One of my favorite things from my week long vacation.

The amazing and talented people who put on this production do it all. Lights, ambiance in the amazing theatre and engaging the audience of ALL AGES. Our 6 year old begged to go again as soon as the show finished, and I didn't blame her at all!

One of the best live shows I've ever seen in my entire life. Roaring with non-stop action and leaving thunderous feelings inside me. My Son flew me out from North Carolina to Hawai'i while he was based there in 2018 for my birthday and Christmas and we came to the Cultural Center, viewed the park, the shows, the Luau and Hā Breath of Life, and I must say, it was the greatest experience of my life... If you came to Charlotte, NC, I'd come every time and bring my friends. I posted it on my Facebook and now it's coming up as my memories and when I see it, it makes me cry because it was such a joyous time for me. Hā Breath of Life changed my life and it will never be forgotten ❤

Fantastic show displaying all the different Polynesian cultures. It uses the same themes as the hourly shows at the different islands at PCC. The stage is not elevated, so even at row 1, you would not have to sit below the stage floor.

This show was at 7:30-9PM. Last event at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Your seat is reserved on your ticket. It's outside so it can get a little hot. It's a story about a prince and his journey through life, don't want to spoil too much. They have numerous dance performances and fire torches being thrown at the end. After the first 30 min, there is a break and they sell ice cream sundae for $5. It had stunning visual and I enjoyed the show. A great way to end the night.

On this holiday, I’ve seen Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Hamilton and this. When I saw Hamilton, I thought, this is the best show I’ve seen in my life. Ha Breath of Life was something else and has dethroned Hamilton. The performance, special effects, skill was beyond anything I expected (and I was going in with high expectations!). This show is a cultural explosion and it’s so beautiful to see the culture so strong and celebrated. If you’re going to the Polynesian Cultural Centre, you HAVE to watch this show.

The Ha Breath of Life snow was amazing! We sat front row for my son who can’t see very well let me tell you... I’m sooo glad that we did. Best seats in the house! Before the show they have ate attendants that bring around sherbet rice cream with fruit for $5. Some might say it’s a total tourist trap, but it actually made for a really good pre-show cool down. The stage roof is the sky while the stadium is covered so you can still feel the warmth from inside. The storyline & performances were very well represented & danced. I’m from Polynesia and they represented my culture very well in my opinion. After the show they allow you come on stage to greet & take photos with the dancers! We thought it was pretty neat. Thank you for a great show PCC! We enjoyed it and would love to see the show again when we return! Aloha! 🌺

We just bought the basic ticket with no tour guide to go around the village and i am so glad i include the Buffett and the show (hā breath of life) you went that far anyways might as well get the full experience!

Found out the Visitors Center on the Temple grounds has a short movie on the history of Laie and surrounding area. So Inspiring! Very Peaceful Place. Love love loved our experience here. The history and beauty of the temple was awesome to learn and see. The sister missionaries were friendly and helpful. We watched some beautiful presentations of our Savior and got to see a unique replica of the inside of the temple. Loved the presentations, what a beautiful and spiritual place to visit!

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. I loved my experience at this temple on vacation! The sister missionaries were so kind and helpful and had a lot of really interesting information regarding the temple that I never knew! It was a great experience listening to the Christus presentation as well as a couple of short form movie presentations in the theater room.

Everything about was wonderful! I invite all those who REALLY wanna step inside this holy temple one day, member of the church or not, to learn more about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to understand it. The visitor centre right next to it is filled with wonderful and enthusiastic sister missionaries READY to answer your questions! Be ready to learn ! You’re welcome ;)

Stopped by late only 20 mins with the tram tour from Polynesian culture center. Looks like a very nice and peaceful church. The nuns are so friendly

Hawaii's most beautiful man-made landscape is located here. There is a huge garden with a beautiful palm tree avenue and friendly people. It is close to the Polynesian Cultural Center, so I recommend visiting it together. However, if you have any prejudices against the Mormon Church, please do not go.

This temple is on the way to the north shore. It is very visible and not hard to find. It is beautiful. You can walk the peaceful ground with lovely flowers and sculptures. With a view all the way to temple beach, and the ocean. They have missionary "guides", that can help you navigate through the history of the temple, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a must stop just so you can enjoy a few moments of peace in an otherwise hectic and chaotic world.

A beautiful building to visit in Oahu! Built in the early 1900's. The entrance is breathtaking and the visitor's center informational and free. A great Sunday stroll!Everyone was very friendly. Even saw a mongoose skitter across the sidewalk!

Whilst it looks like it can be wheelchair accessible, unfortunately the gates were all locked when I was there. I was with two ladies from the Church of the Latter Day Saints that is right next door, but they weren't able to get in using the roads/ramps either. It looked like stairs were the only option.

Nice picture spot, friendly visitor center near the parking lot/entrance, inside of temple itself is reserved for sacred worship but can explore the gardens/fountains/visitor center and enjoy the beauty 🌺

Beautiful and serene, inviting and awe inspiring, spiritual and meditative. Where else can you find this? If you are in Hawai’i, or get to visit, I would highly recommend making the time to visit and see this wonderful place of worship.

Most beautiful garden in Hawaii. Incredible peace and beauty, with its cascading pools, balance, symmetry, and ancient banyan tree (in the back). The Temple itself tells the story of the Bible and Restoration with the art on each of the four sides. The grounds actually start at the ocean a mile away. Learn about Jesus Christ and the happiness the Gospel brings from the missionaries, who speak several languages.

Very impressive temple. It's majesty and prominence are unparalleled. Not overly large, but it stands out against the backdrop of green mountains well. The entire campus is beautiful and peaceful.

It’s a wonderful place to explore Mormonism! Sister Paji and Sister Cahoon spent much time with me explaining Mormonism to me and answering my questions. The view is splendid! Temple on the top is the house of God for saints to worship God; Chapel on the right is a meetinghouse for services which are open to the public. The clear greenish water originating from the mother in the picture before the temple who pours her water of love onto her children flows down the pools, suggestively down the road, crossing the street to the temple’s garden and then into the open ocean, spreading it out on earth. What an awesome metaphor of philanthropist!

Highly recommend 'Active Oahu Tours' to book a Kayak for your next adventure. We booked a Kayak to take over to Mokoli'i Island for an afternoon adventure from the Kualoa Regional Park. Dax was extremely helpful, he was in contact with us the morning of our booking and told us exactly where he would meet us. After meeting him he gave us some great information on how to get out to the island and get back safely. They were easily contactable and one of the best companies we've dealt with on Oahu.

We had a great experience with renting a tandem kayak from this company. We really got our money’s worth - $76 for a full day’s rental with all the accessories and delivery included. They helped us strap the boat to the roof of our rental, which gave us the freedom to run two trips in one day. We did Kaneohe sandbar in the morning and Chinaman’s Hat later in the afternoon. The sandbar involved some tricky paddling, watch out for the current. It helps if you keep less weight in your boat. Paddling to Chinaman’s hat was pretty easy though. If you plan to hike to the top or around the edge, make sure you bring good shoes and be prepared for some thorny bushwhacking. We had an incredible day overall and we’d do it all over again!

Great experience working with Active Oahu!! Plans changed unexpectedly last minute but they were able to accommodate and offer us another kayaking option!! They provided everything we needed to have a safe fun trip as well as everything we needed to load the kayaks on to our rental car!! Would definitely use them again if we ever find ourselves on Oahu!

Everything went great! We picked up the snorkel gear right on time and the instructions were easy to follow. The gear was clean and we got lots of extras included in our rental. The guide was very familiar with the area and informed us of all the best spots. Due to travel and traffic we were a little late returning the gear. That was no issue we were able to return everything and the guide waited patiently for our return. His communication and knowledge of the island was perfect! Will definitely be back to rent soon!!

Rob show us how to use the kayaks, and willing to go at whatever pace suited us. Throughout the tour, he shared information and stories about the area and the wildlife around us. It was so much better to have someone guide us rather than just getting in kayaks and being on our own. Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to be back again!

Had a great time on the self guided tour. The scenery around the Ahupua'a o Kahana State Park makes for an awesome experience. Active Oahu will meet you near by and help you load up your equipment for transport to the park. It's unfortunate the state park does not let the company operate within the park, so you have a short mile drive to the park. They do not offer solo kayaks, so keep that in mind, but absolutely worth the experience if you are solo or not. Paddling south into the park is great as it has narrow path ways and great scenic views. Current can get strong and the pathway can be narrow, so use a bit of caution when turning around. Completely worth it and the girl that met me (sorry I forgot your name!) had good advice and some suggestions on other activities.

we had so much fun exploring the island on our kayaks. The Kaneohe sandbar was epic the views were stunning. On our way out to the sandbar we saw a huge coral reef that we could get out and snorkel around to see beautiful turtles and sea life. once on the sandbar the water was crystal clear and it was the perfect level to play around and have fun and take awesome photos in the middle of the ocean. on our way back we saw manta rays in a school floating around playing. We were so amazed when we ran into a big group of turtles of about 7 to 10 the size of a prehistoric creature. My experience with the workers dropping off my kayak was top notch. I highly recommend this company the next time you're out on the island and share it with your friends.

We weren’t able to kayak due to weather, but Active Oahu Tours fully refunded the cost. They communicated in advance about the weather and cared about our safety. Dax and Brad were great to work with, they were very responsive and easy to talk to. If we’re ever back in Hawaii we will make sure to book with this company again due to their outstanding customer service :)

We rented kayaks and SUPs from Active Oahu Tours and were super happy with our experience. The communication was outstanding...they sent confirmation emails, texts, reminders, and very clear instructions about the meeting place. Dax helped us with our gear and gave us a quick overview, and then we were off on our own. Rental prices were reasonable, and we were able to book our gear just two days in advance. We rented two kayaks to paddle to Chinamans hat. The kayaks were dropped off at a convenient location, right at the beach, so we didn’t have to transport any gear. I would highly recommend this for a fun, easy rental experience.

Such a good shop, staff is amazing ( thanks Mark!) they fit the kayak on every sort of car, even convertible. And in top of that , gave us incredible recommendations for our afternoon. The kayak ride to the island was really good we had the island for ourselves

Awesome experience! The guys there were so nice and helpful! I'd definitely recommend doing this only bad side, Hawaii has an insane about of homeless people.like literally laying on the streets,very sad to see.

We had the benefit of having Rob give us a guided tour. He was knowledgeable and made the day so much fun! The owner of this business is very kind and accommodating. We rented 2 paddle boards at 3pm and were renting for 4 hours. However, they were going to close at 5pm. The owner said we could return them later than the closing time. He was very flexible and waited for us, and I could tell that he was passionate about his customers having a great time in Hawaii with his equipment. What a stand up guy.

Needed an infant life jacket last minute and these guys came to the rescue. Fast and friendly service. Item was in great condition and we did a quick fit on my child before we left to ensure we got the right one. Will definitely use them again if we need to!

Fatu was great. It was just the four of us on the tour. It was really awesome to paddle at night and have the entire park to ourselves. Would do this one again!

This was the most fantastic experience, our guide was super friendly and hilarious when taking us around. He shared some wonderful legends of Maui, forever grateful to have been able to hear them from him. Definitely recommend to everyone, first time paddle-boarding and it was easy!

The late night lunar legends paddle tour was an awesome experience! We had a chance to hear cultural stories, and information on the land around us. Guides Fatu and Si did a great job of keeping everyone comfortable and entertained. We had lots of fun surprises and experiences, which made this a great way to end the night. Definitely would recommend this tour, very relaxing and fun for the whole family.

Late night lunar legends paddle tour - Really great as a small group and the rest of the park is deserted! Looking at the pictures for this I was slightly concerned one of us would end up falling in but no one did! Smallish group (10?) with a guided tour throughout the village with no one else about (after hours in the dark). Had atmospheric lighting and our guide was sharing stories and comedic tails! Very relaxed and one can either stand up or continue paddle boarding kneeling down. I would recommend turning up with your swim gear on as although the evening weather was warm you didn't want your clothes to get wet if you did fall in. And the water wasn't that warm! The whole area is very large with lots of other activities/food trucks (although a bit expensive) available. It is worth spending some time here during the daytime and then taking part in the nigh kayak to finish off. Overall it was a great time and lots of fun. Recommended.

We had a blast. We brought our kids and they loved stand up paddle boarding through the Polynesian Cultural Center at night while hearing legends of Maui and learning about the Polynesian culture. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience for an evening. You get the choice between paddleboards or kayaks (although kayaks limited), and get about 1.5 hours of traveling around and learning about Polynesian culture. I learned a ton and really enjoyed Fatu's stories about the demigod Maui. You also have a performance that is Olympic level quality (depending on your tour guide, maybe?). I won't go into details because I don't wanna spoil it for potential customers. The only bummer was we went on a Wednesday so the Polynesian Cultural Center was closed. So we didn't get to see the rest of the exhibits. So plan your trip for anytime but Wednesdays and make it a whole day event!

Awesome way to explore the traditions and cultures of the Polynesian islands. It was a excellent family friendly night activity for locals and tourists alike. Our tour guide Jeremy is the man. He was very knowledgeable and truly embraced the aloha spirit. Two big thumbs up for this activity/tour.

We had Baska as our guide and our family of 5 was the only group on the tour. It was such a special time paddleboarding through while it was it was empty. We loved hearing all the legends and had such a great time. Definitely would say this is a must do!!!

I really wanted to love this tour. I had such high expectations from other reviews and pictures online but it really fell short :( there was not enough lighting for the 9pm tour! I REALLY wish I had booked the 7:30 and that’s on me but the 9pm really did not seem worth the $100 (not including taxes and tip!!) 😢 anywhere on island that rents paddle boards for 20-$40 has better views. Unfortunately unless you drive to the PCC during the day and spend more time there during the day you really cannot enjoy any views that late and the tour itself was nothing special, no offense to our tour guide I was just expecting more of an experience for that price.

We love this experience! We have gone 3x and give it 5 stars but this last time our guide Alex said because of the 60th celebration she skipped our favorite part (why we signed up) to lay quietly on our board and star gaze. She first said it was bc of the weather but it was perfect for star gazing. We would recommend making sure they include this part as it is fabulous & why we kept coming back.We only had 4 people & started a little late bc the group ahead had 12 pol. Alex was very nice and a good storyteller. we had a nice group! We just really missed our favorite part.

Fun night and okay for kids. It's a little scary for little ones but my son loved every minute! Paddleboarding definitely takes some experience but kayaking is relaxing. Great stories and Futo and Aliana were amazing. He made the whole experience! Would go back again!

My wife and I had an amazing experience paddle boarding with Fatu. We learned a lot amidst the beauty of the trees and waterway.

I was really looking forward to this experience, but it was not what we were expecting, especially for the cost. We had a group of 6 and all did Kayaks. Our tour guide was Fatu, he was great at telling stories and we did learn a lot, but our group was just too big. We had 15 people and we were either being bumped into by someone or hitting the side. It also did not help when others were pushing our kayaks into the wall (I had a child with me) but nothing was said to the couple. I think if they made it less crowded, it would of been better.

We had a wonderful time at Lunar Legends! Our guide Fatu was so knowledgeable, funny, and talented. We would stop and as he told us stories of each island and it felt like we were all sitting around a campfire. One of my favorite things to do in Oahu!

This excursion honestly exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Fatu, was a joy to be around. Great stories in a relaxed environment (in addition to a surpriseat the end). Would highly recommend!

My husband and I booked this on a whim & we’re so glad we did! We had Pascal (I think that’s how you spell it) as our guide and he was wonderful. He made all of us feel like one big Ohana & even led us in a guided meditation where we laid on our boards and looked up at the night sky. The woven grass & flower crowns at the end were a bonus! Make sure you do bring a change of clothes & a towel because there are some waterfalls to go under & if you mess up you’re getting soaked!

Lots of options to but here. There are souvenirs galore. Also there are several different shops to choose from. If you are hungry, there are plenty of options. They range from a food truck that serves hot dogs in some crazy ways to a restaurant called Rounders that has a bakery in it. But the real gem is getting the buffet that they have there after 1630 (4:30 pm). There is so much variety at the buffet that you won't be able to eat it all.

Touristy gift shops, including a ukulele store & museum. I was so excited to see a fruit stand because I wanted to try a coconut drink but they were unfortunately out. We originally went to this marketplace because I was under the impression it would really be decorated and they would have holiday themed stuff, but I didn't think they did anything that was described on Oahu's calendar site: "It will be a weekend full of holiday festivities and wonderful displays of lights and decorations." Did not buy any tickets for the Polynesian Center so I can't comment on that, but this is still a good place to stop if you are looking for a souvenir, food or restroom break.

We had a layover to Hawaii so we decided to visit the Strip! This was our first stop and this hotel is beautiful! Marble floors, vaulted ceilings, statues everywhere! They had this live flower exhibit that smelled and looked amazing!Pure elegance!

I came here for the Polynesian Cultural Center as which I think most people do. But this is a nice market. Different shops and food places to choose from. But I definitely recommend you get tickets to check out the Polynesian Cultural Center it's an all-day event!

Haven't been here in over 8 yrs. It has changed so much it's amazing. I'm glad they brought the marketplace out for all to enjoy. It's beautiful!!

Adjacent and on the left side of Polynesian Cultural Center. There are plenty of parking spaces for cars, especially few "working" EV charging stations from ChargePoint. It has souvenir shops, restaurants, snacks, drinks for visitors to hang around. There are restrooms. It is a good place for a quick stop during a trip to North Shore.

We were here for most of the day, very nice and clean. There's a lot of stands for souvenirs and some stores. There's a buffett onsite and omg it's delicious 😋

This is a nice marketplace. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This marketplace adjoins the Polynesian Cultural Center, so vendors here cater to tourists. There are multiple food trucks, such as a crepe truck, kiwi style fish and chips truck, BBQ truck, sushi truck, and burger truck. There’s a large open air building with vendors selling arts and crafts, and there’s a stand to get temporary tattoos. I gave this marketplace five stars because it has nice vendors and good food trucks. I had fish and chips from the Kiwi style fish and chips truck that were exquisite.

It's right next door to the Polynesian cultural center and they had cute shops and places to grab a bite to eat. I bought my chicken there. I just love the Hawaiian chickens. They give the island a lot more character and they're so colorful.

Located adjacent to the Polynesian Cultural Center grounds on the northeast side. A good place to shop & eat and just walk around. The marketplace is well run, clean & presentable. Shops, vendors, food trucks and the Pounders Restaurant are strategically set up to make the customers visit enjoyable. Even if it rains, people can easily find shelter. Souvenir and food prices are reasonable and comparable to other marketplaces on the island. Staff at each establishment provide excellent customer service. We visited several times and enjoyed each visit.

Had so many fun souvenirs and it was such a great atmosphere. I wish we could go back to spend some more time there, but we are on the wrong side of the island. It is a wonderful companion to the Polynesian Cultural Center. There was just so much to do here, it was hard to fit everything in.

Although Hilton hotel sucks we stay @ Ilikai hotel this place is worth a visit fantastic Scenery and lots of nice stores

Nice variety of food from sit down restaurants to food trucks. Live music. Theme decor is well done. Spacious for wandering and watching the show. Lots of great shops as well.

Put it this way, my boy wanted to come back. Sunset here was beautiful. Keep in mind you don't actually see the sun set on this side of the island but thre cloud colors were magical.

This place was a blast for my young family. Good for swimming and catching some mild yet still fun shore breaks. On the right day you can still get barreled. I spotted one jellyfish floating on top of the water but that’s it. We spent quite a bit of time there when taking a break from the bigger wave spots and never got stung. I only mention that because numerous folks say to stay away because of the jellyfish. Just be aware and keep your eyes peeled and you should be good. Will definitely return!

Amazing place for family and friends. If you are looking for perfectly place to relax and enjoy your family and friends. This place can be very good for you and friends. Clean is important for me. And this place is very clean. This was the fishing place a long time ago. My first time on this place , no restrooms. There’s is a parking spots . No a lot shade.

Another beauty on the northeastern side of Oahu. Easy to find along Kamehameha Hwy in the town of La’ie. No amenities just a beautiful, serene unspoiled beach. It was a windy day when we visited so the waves were high.

This is the beach where the famous Hukelua Hawaiian dance came from. Huke-pull and lau-net. It was a big fishing event that envolved the locals of Laie, whole families would participate decades ago. The waves here can be high during high tide, during low tide great for the toddlers. Extremely small waves

Hey, this is a historic place where Polynesian Cultural Center actually started 60 years ago. You can find a small statue that explains the history of this place. A beautiful and clean beach. It has a public shower but no public restroom. Waves are lower here, so you bring your kids and play. It has a free but limited parking lot.

Great, small waves for boogie boarding with children, even littles. No restrooms. No tables. Just warm water and sand. Best, free entertainment! Take drinking water and salty snacks. There is a shower to clean off sand before getting in your car afterwards. 🩷

Great long hike. Super recommended. Need to get a permit via email, don’t go to the office, it is closed. See attached picture for where the hiking trail starts. Loved the scenery and different paths we walked on. A bit muddy, be at peace with it. Go do it, now!!

I’ll start by saying I am a novice hiker and also this was my first time in Oahu. When we first arrived arrived to the trail area was very confusing. Lots of signs that indicate private property and No clear signs of where to park and you can barely see where the beginning of the trail is. The sign for trail did say that you need a permit which is free if you visit Hawaii reserves inc. 5 minute drive from the trail and is not really enforced so I don’t know why they required it. They also give you a “map” which is kind of vague. You have to park at a school field on the neighborhood and walk towards the trail. The map says is 3 miles. However, is more like 6.5 miles each way. There is basically no signage and the private property owners to get to the trail do have big dogs running around free so be aware of that. Once you get on the trail the views are amazing one of a kind. Different terrains, lots of hills, a lot of isolation the views of the mountains and valleys and the natural tunnels the trees make are wonderful. As you go up the hike is challenging but rewarding. We almost gave up when we ran into certain obstacles and thought we had taken the wrong path but we finally saw 2 other hikers and they told us to keep going. Once you get to the area near the falls the path gets really narrow and going down to the falls there is rope and trees to help with a very slippery and narrow descend. The waterfalls are a big pay off. There wasn’t anyone around so you really get to enjoy it and take it all in. The way down is easier and it took us about 5.5 hours to do the entire hike. Overall is an amazing experience but I do wish there was more signs to indicate you are going the right way since is a tough hike. So take water and very comfortable shoes and enjoy the adventure.

It's private property. Get permission and park at Laie Park and not at the trailhead, don't be the ones to ruin it for others. Took me just a few minutes to do the permit. It's 4 miles from the parking lot to Laie Falls and another 2.5 miles to Laie Summit. Took us 2hrs to the falls, 1.5hrs from falls to summit. 1 hr from summit back to falls, 1.5hrs back from falls to Laie Park. It's not a sketchy hike. I did most of it barefoot and it was downpouring rain for the first hour of the hike. The final 50 yards to the falls are a little steep but not unsafe- just go slow. The summit hike was very overgrown the last 45mins. It kinda sucked but it was fun -trail is very easy to follow. Don't let other reviews deter you, you'll see it's not a big deal. If you're ever on a hike and you get uncomfortable -just turn around......

2/3 of the trail is Great for jogging. Preparation: Make sure to obtain the permission to enter since it's a private property. It can be done via a phone posted in Laie Shopping center nearby or in person there. Wear some hiking running shoes. Don't go if it's wet or rain is coming. A Start point from Laie park. There is a public parking lot. Most of the trail goes through the forest with nice shade, occasional views and absolutely no people. I didn't make it to the end since at 2/3 of the trail uphill the path gets way to narrow for running. Pretty adequate elevation - it was comfortable. Make sure to turn left up to the Hill (not towrds the house on the left) when you see a blue sign saying permission required.

The beauty in this hike is the entire journey. The falls are gorgeous also, just not the best part of the hike. It’s a great intermediate hike to even go jogging at. Highly recommend it and don’t listen to the people saying it’s sketchy! The first couple pictures are about where the hike begins. There is a house on the right with random signs. The gate is to the left of the house and it will be about .75 miles of pavement. You will pass random construction projects on the sides.. don’t let this discourage you. The hike starts where you can see my wife standing below. From then on it’s gorgeous. It’s also a very popular location for local mountain bike trails. It’s highly traveled and well maintained. A truly beautiful taste of what the north shore has to offer!!

The view throughout the hike was wonderful. Parking was confusing, we didn't know where to park so we just parked in front of the trail head which starts at a yellow cattle gate behind some fields. We only passed 5 people on our hike. We happened to go the day after a flood warning so the trail was very muddy and some parts were slippery. The falls are about 20 mins after you enter the second tunnel of red trees. The falls were really refreshing to swim in but the bottom is made up of rocks covered in moss so it was slippery as well. The hike to the falls from the trail head is 8 miles. It took us, a group of 5 who don't go hiking often, 3 hours to get there and just under 2 to get back. Be cautious when on the climb down to the falls if it recently rained it will be slippery and it is mostly rocks. Overall the hike was beautiful and enjoyable just plan on a 5 hour hike.

This hike started out to be amazing with all the views and wild flowers, but slowly turned into dense overgrowth.. we didn't make it to the waterfall, but came really close to it (we think.. 3 miles in) Oh well maybe next time!

Prepare to get muddy if it's rained, and watch your step towards the top. Very scenic and diverse, and the waterfall at the top was cherry. Stay safe and have fun!

Can I give Shane and Adventure Tours 10 stars?! Talk about tailor-made pace and sights, impromptu surprises, and even a stop to get some Indian snacks to cater to individual cuisine preferences. I saw the great reviews and booked accordingly, but I could NOT have predicted just how happy and heartwarming this trip would be. Shane felt like part of the family and really treated us all with such care and managed to pack in SO much - from waterfalls to snorkeling to blowholes to hiking, not to mention ALL of the amazing facts about history and native Hawaiian cultural practices. I can keep going, but I just you so much for a really beautiful and inspiring memory that brought our family even closer and kept us laughing and smiling all day :)

The Molokini / Turtle Town snorkeling tour was awesome! We had so much fun, and we would totally do it again!

Great crew, nice, accommodating. It was great little trip out past Ko Olina. The snorkeling was good, food was good. Recommend getting the fish food or following someone who does!

Shane is unbelievably amazing. He is a knowledgable and easygoing tour guide who puts a lot of love and attention into his tours. He designed a customized adventure packed day for us: Cliff jumping, standup paddle boarding, ocean view hiking and waterfalls. Snacks and water were provided throughout the day, as well as, an amazing local lunch. I cannot rave enough about Shane. Booking with Shane was the best part of our trip to Hawaii. He even gave us some insider info on some beautiful locations to explore during the remainder of our time in Hawaii. I highly recommend him and will definitely be back soon for more adventures!

My family and I had the absolute best time with Adventure Tours Hawaii. Our guide knew all of the secret spots to take us to including a hidden waterfall surrounded by the lushest landscape that truly looked like something out of Jurassic Park where we could cliff jump. My Adventure Tours Hawaii trip was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations as I got to see the true Oahu on a recent vacation with my girlfriend. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about both the areas on Oahu that we were visiting and general Hawaiian history. On our adventure, we took a SUP tour in the jungle, found a secluded beach, and visited the legendary Pali pass lookout - all with our guide, Shane. If you're looking for a fun, safe and unique tour of Oahu, then look no further. Something that really impressed me was that Shane setup the administration of our custom trip well before I left the mainland - taking care of many of the details and billing beforehand so I was able to visit the island worry-free about the upcoming tour. The experience was exactly what I was looking for. Professional. Unforgettable. True Oahu.

This is my 2nd Adventure Tour with Shane. And yet he managed to out do the last! Shane is very accommodating and very sincere at what he does. If you're looking to see the island and looking for an adventure Shane is the guy you want to see! Our day started off with hiking thru the jungle to see waterfalls, snorkelling with turtles and ended with stand up paddle boarding. Couldn't have asked for a better day to experience Hawaii and see what it has to offer. A definite must to book a tour while in Hawaii!!!!

We have just completed a 3 week trip in America, and Shane's Day tour of Oahu was our favourite day from the entire trip. Prior to our trip I emailed Shane to explain our trip was a secret that our Family didn't know about, he was fantastic with the entire secret and booked everything separately, separate invoices and separate itineraries to keep the secret. We worked back and forward with Shane for a few months and customized a tour to what we wanted to see (and it was absolutely perfect). Shane is very prompt and professional in replying to emails and it was such a breeze to organize our tour. At the last minute my partner had to return home and was not able to do the tour with us, I emailed Shane and explained the situation and he gave us a refund for my partners spot no questions asked. It made our unfortunate situation a little more pleasant. Shane picked us up from our hotel at 10am on the dot as promised. He gave us a quick run down of the day and we were off. We saw everything that we had asked to see and some more. Shane supplies lunch, drinks and snacks. Lunch was absolutely incredible Chef Dave does an amazing job on lunch. My favourite part of the day was stand up paddleboarding at sunset, it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Shane takes you snorkeling to such a beautiful place and we were lucky enough to have near perfect visibility and so lucky to have the turtles swimming less than a metre away. The entire day was just incredible I 100% recommend this trip to anyone. You would not ever be disappointed.

My husband and I booked a tour with Shane whilst staying in Waikiki. We looked at various other tours including larger group tours that were slightly cheaper, however they are very restrictive as to what you see, how long you are there etc. Shane was great, he asked us what we liked and what we wanted to see and tailored the whole day to meet our needs. Not only did we see a huge amount of the island, Shane was informative and really went above and beyond to make sure we hit a variety of great spots at great times. The weather was cloudy and rainy with some sunshine but Shane kept an eye out on the weather and adjusted the plan where necessary to get the best out of our day. It was a highlight of our trip. Shane is a great guy and we would definitely recommend doing a tour with him! A private tour is a great way to see what you want to see and get one on one information and time to ask questions. An amazing trip!

Sure, it's small. But it's a local theater, that's close by and student friendly. The tickets are cheap and the theater is nice, not old or ratty at all. You can get your snacks and your popcorn, so all is good. The staff are super nice as well. My family really enjoy going to this theater.

I love the simple old town feel of the theater! I had previously left a review about the butterless popcorn but wanted to update it as I realize that they offer real butter as opposed to butter flavor. If you add salt and layer the butter it's even better than the big chain offerings. Just wanted to correct the error from my previous review.

Another reviewer says bad things about this place. That person hates sunshine, puppies and everything good. Laie Cinemas is what going to the movies was like before megagoogleplexes: a couple little screens in a little neighborhood shopping center. The theatres are long and narrow, and the screens higher up the wall. Sound and image quality are excellent. Popcorn was great. If you're on the North Shore and want to see a movie, this is the place to go.

I enjoy taking my kids to Laie Palms Cinemas. It has a small town, relaxed feeling to it. I think the smaller screens and theaters are refreshing. The new owners have done a great job getting the screens and audio updated. Driving from town with my kids on the to watch a movie and eat a burger at 7 Brothers would be a perfect family Saturday getaway.

Movies are current and never R rated. Popcorn is good. And the price is the cheapest anywhere. Great place and great owners, who have done a good job remodeling it. They let me propose to my wife there with a fake movie trailer. Laie Palms is awesome.

BEST POPCORN ON THE ISLAND #NufSaid The family who runs it also have wonderful people skills and are so friendly. The movie selection is good (not always perfect, but no theater is) and the location is great. I consider it to be a sin if you come to Oahu and don't watch a movie here... even if it is just to try the popcorn!

This theater is small, but fun. I go with friends to the movies all the time! I love that they discount for students. Really a great theater and have never had any problems... Until yesterday. I went to pick up pre-sale tickets to the Star Wars movie. The cashier was about to sell me 2 tickets at the student discount when a man (college aged) walked over and promptly told the cashier "We don't discount pre-sale tickets." She had already taken my money, but it was fine. I would pay the difference. Jokingly I said, "Aw man, you just ruined my night" to which the man replied, "Well if $4 ruins your night, maybe you shouldn't be coming to the movies." Man. Terrible customer service. I don't fault the company at all, but this kid needs an attitude change. That's not how you get people to return to your theater. Yes, I am a broke college student and sometimes a few dollars does makes a difference, so don't call me out on that because you don't know my financial situation. Funny thing was, I was buying tickets for my roommate, it wasn't even my money. Really do love this theater and haven't had a bad experience until now. The cashier was really kind and I could tell she felt totally uncomfortable by his comment made. Sorry I had to give anything other than a 5 star review. Thanks Laie Palms Cinemas!

Nice up and down hike with some cool ridges allowing lovely views. Mostly in the forested shade so great on a sunny day. Will get muddy with rain. Small river crossing at the start (dry December 2017).

Definitely not a novice experience! Plan to do some hiking through Hau’ula Homesteads just to get to the trail head - and once you’ve found the trail, anticipate narrow paths, boulder problems, ambiguous trail directions, overgrowth, mosquitoes, and a metric heckload of super steep switchbacks! The view at the top of the front ridge is worth it. Just make sure you’ve got the stamina and water to make it through the remaining 2/3 of the trail, or you’ll end up backtracking, like I did my first time through. FYI, you will NOT have cell reception when you’re on the trail, so make sure of your directions before you head out. And as some others have mentioned, if it’s been very rainy, watch your footing - the first bit of uphill trail can be super slippey. I definitely wiped out on the way back down!

Not for beginners! Yes we did not see a soul, and yes you experience a tremendous amount of Hawaiian flora and fauna, and yes the overlook of the town and the ocean is beautiful. But wow I feel a little mislead by all the reviews. My girlfriend and I both found this very challenging, and downright scary in a lot of parts. It seems like the entire trail is off camber. A ton of it is about a foot wide with a huge drop beside it. We encountered one spot where a huge mudslide had basically washed out the trail on an extremely vertical side of the mountain. You're hanging on for dear life to roots and anything you can find, praying the mud doesn't give way! We love to hike, but we would never do this trail again. If you have any fear of heights and you're not a seasoned hiker I'd steer clear of this beast.

Good workout. Took me about two hours to cover about four miles at a steady pace. A little slick at the bottom and a couple stream crossings but I managed to stay dry. October 2018.

Tahitian Treasures has lovely Tahitian clothing, pareos, jewelry, bags, and souvenirs, and the proprietress enjoys chatting with her customers and explaining the origins and cultural significance of items in her shop.

This shop has some interesting shells from Tahiti such as the green turban shell. I like their pareos and monoi oil as well.

Great bang for buck, and a wonderful experience! You enter the luau to the beat of the drummer and receive a lei. Then, professional photos are taken for each couple or group. There is free time at the craft fair, which offers you local arts and foods to buy as souvenirs and mementos or gifts for friends. There were many vegetarian options at the buffet and meat options were delicious. The drinks were hard pours at the beginning and softened as the evening wore on with cutoff before the end of the show to encourage a safe journey home. The luau dancers were fantastic and told a cohesive story also outlined in the luau pamphlet. The fire dancers were mesmerizing! Had a blast and would absolutely recommend!

We had amazing time out on the ranch and it was mainly because of our two tour guides! Anthony and Kai were so knowledgeable. The educated us on the land, its history, the films and where they were shot, and the Hawaiian culture plus they had some funny photos ideas to take with the props along the way. Their great outlooks on life were also a cherry on top for us. We would highly recommend this tour with those two! Thank you both again!

The booking with Hawaii tours was exceptional. The agent, Terry, kept me well informed and ensured that upon my arrival to the site, there would not be any questions about the experience on my behalf. The horseback riding tour itself was bar none one of the best experiences in my life. From the amazing staff, the guide Justice included, the breathtaking views of the landscapes, to the even tempered horses that provided very minimal guiding for the entirety of the trail, I could not recommend a better excursion!!

Hawaii Tours gave wonderful tour to me and my 11 year old son. Blake did a fantastic job. He was entertaining and very knowledgeable. We went on the Complete Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Tour. The USS Missouri, Bowfin Submarine and Aviation Museum were our favorites.

Abby and Emma were amazing. They were very knowledgeable of whales and were fun girls so they kept the vibe of the boat ride strong. Emma gave very particular instructions that were very easy to understand and grasp to keep us safely riding the boat and snorkeling. Not to mention we had a blast snorkeling while seeing great coral and fish. Also, the views of the whales were out of this world. I strongly recommend Sea Maui.

We had an amazing float down the canals in Kauai. This was our first time and my daughter and I had a blast! The water was refreshing and all the guides and drivers we fantastic. Lunch was wonderful and the scenery, incredible. I would highly recommend this excursion!

We booked our honeymoon through Hawaii Tours and couldn't have been more pleased! We were able to pick and choose what activities we wanted to do while we were visiting, and Dora took care of the rest. She booked our flights, transportation, tours, etc. and provided us with a detailed itinerary of each day complete with confirmation numbers, phone numbers, pickup locations, and anything else we could have needed. She set up a phone call the day before we left on our trip to go over the itinerary to make sure we knew what to expect. Dora also texted us daily to remind us of our upcoming events, which was extremely helpful because the days went by so fast since we were packed with activities. We did the Luxury Road to Hana tour with Scottie. It was an absolute wonderful tour. Scottie is informative, thorough, fun, and he takes fantastic pics for you. Excellent tour around the Big Island. Our tour guide Aaron was awesome. He was great at explaining what we were seeing as we went from spot to spot and at answering any questions we had. We lucked out and had a smaller group which was perfect as Aaron made sure to take us around to things that were not necessarily on the itinerary. From seeing the volcano craters, lava tubes, black sand beaches and the waterfalls near Hilo and making stops at Paradise Meadow Farms for the best Macadamia Nuts, trip was lead perfectly. If you go on this you will not be disappointed and I hope that you will get the pleasure of having Aaron as your guide. Aaron if you read this thank you again and I truly hope all is well with your family.

This tour was worth every penny! I loved the fact that we were able to change the itinerary and custom make it. Our guide Uncle Sam was just the nicest and very informative along the way. His island knowledge helped us avoid the traffic and ensure a quick trip from point to point! The food trucks he recommended were the best!! The only downfall is when the tour ended!! We didn’t want to go, we had so much fun!! My two kids 10 and 11 enjoyed talking with our guide.

We did the Pearl Harbour and tour of Oahu on Monday 28/08/23 with Will. What a wonderful tour guide. Being from Australia we weren’t aware of the full history of the islands and he went through in great detail about the history. Will was very informative and entertaining throughout the entire tour. Absolutely phenomenal experience with this tour service. From booking through the completion of the tour was top notch. We had so much fun on the River Tubing excursion! It was a family excursion of different ages. Our guide Sierra was amazing! Funny & very patient with all of us.

What an amazing day we had. We were taken into the beautiful old sugarcane plantation, do a hike and look at some beautiful waterfalls and to be able to swim in one was awesome. Our guide Taro was so amazing. He took us to a beautiful place to have lunch overseeing the black Sand Beach. I would highly recommend doing this tour.

Our tour was Captain Bob’s snorkeling experience! We opted for transportation there and back from our hotel which I highly recommend if you do not have a car. The boat was on the smaller size and there were quite a number of people. However, everything was organized and we never felt left out. The crew was amazing, attentive, and knowledgeable. The sandbar was spectacular and the pop up reef was too! We were able to see multiple turtles as well as swim close to them!! The food was simple, hamburgers and such, but it hit the spot and I even went in for seconds. Highly recommend this experience! You will not forget it!

Justin communicated with us on pick up time, location and was prompt. He informed tour guests that flew in for the tour about different parts of the big island. Knew were to go at volcano national park, showed everyone personal video of the September eruption and was spot on about travel times. Informed everyone about good shops and places to eat in downtown. Got to sneak in some extra visits during the trip and seen some sea turtles at the black sand beach. This was a must do tour in Maui. It was nothing short of amazing. Kalia was our tour guide. He arrived an half an hour before scheduled and was waiting when we arrived . He introduced himself and for the next 9 hours, we became family! We connected as if we were experiencing Maui through his viewpoint. The sights along the tour will leave you speechless. Thank you Hawaiian Tour for making this our time with the Tour to Hana a highlight of vacation.
