World's Largest Lobster (exhibit), right here at Rotary Park in Shediac, New Brunswick !!! Kids love to climb atop. Glad we stopped here on the way to Confederation Bridge for Prince Edward Island from Moncton, NB. Parking gets full easily. That speak volumes of its popularity. Challenging to find spot for bigger vehicles.

Fun place to stop. A few shops, a lobster roll place, and beautiful views. We must have visited during off season because the shops were closed but still fun to see the lobster statue.

God place for upto had an hour. Click picture with/on giant lobster statue. There are washrooms on site. A few antique and art shops and stalls from local artists. Nearby there are famous restaurants where you buy or eat lobster.

Great place for the kids to play and have fun for a while. It was not too crowded at that time and we got a whole bunch of photos. The restaurants nearby did not seem to be open or we were late. Construction is going on currently so give yourself an extra 10 mins driving time.

A really fantastic sculpture, very realistic with lots of detail and great for getting selfies, especially with the steps added to get to the top. This was a must see on our trip, Shediac is the lobster capital only the world after all! Even if you are just driving through to get to P.E.I, it’s worth a stop to take a look and snap some pictures. We were out of season but from what we understand lots of shops and food places are open in the summer.

Coming from the province that loves large out of this world attractions, I had to stop at this one. It is very detailed and realistic and is actually pretty darn big. The lobster is up on a pedestal with a fisherman in front of him.

There's a touch tank in the visitor center there. Highly recommend going. Was absolutely amazing to learn about the lobsters and how they reproduce. Lots of fun and a little shops. Highly recommend coming here for some quick stop the people are super kind and the area was super nice I had no idea that there was an aquarium in touch tank inside the building. Definitely worth an ask and going on the tour

Loved it! Probably the biggest lobster I will ever try to eat (I did not succeed). Great place to take pictures with it and show off to people who couldn't. The captain was the silent type and for some reason kept looking at the birds. Came early May before the season opened and we basically were alone. For sure would visit it again another time!

Beautiful beautiful! The lobster was so realistic! A real piece of art. Also the shops were so cute we bought lots of souvenir and had ice cream and lobster rolls. My mom got sick so we did not do the museum tour but next time!

I'm a fan of the giant lobster. Everyone who wanted a photo stood in an orderly queue and was respectful of each other. It's worth a stop for the photo op folks!

The gift shops are full of everything! Can get food there too. Around the lobster was busy so you do have to wait until you can get a picture if you don't want anyone else in it. There is alot of parking but it was full when we went during the week. There is also the lobster museum that offers tours in English and French, they do a presentation and there are touch tanks.

Great place to stop. We just wanted a picture with the lobster but we ended up taking the Homarus tour. $12/adult $8/child, totally worth it. We learned a lot about lobsters, and even got to touch them. The hands on touch tanks were a huge hit. Kids help crabs, start fish and sea urchins. The little shops are cute and reasonably priced as well.

Temporary issue - The bridge linking downtown and the Visitors Information Centre where we could also see the Giant Lobster was turned into a one way street as construction took place on the bridge. We opted to park downtown in the Home Hardware parking lot and walked across the bridge. Crossing on foot took us about 15 minutes from where we parked. It would have been challenging to cross with a stroller, wheelchair, or if one was elderly. These visitors’ attractions are by the water which boasts great views of the river and the bay. You can sit on the grass and watch fisherman test their luck at fishing; pulling up their crate time and time over. The colourful buildings were not all filled with merchants when we were there but the ones that were will be worth your effort. The new-looking Visitors Information Centre has bathrooms, some artsy things for sale, and an exhibition/museum which you pay to get into. We stopped into the large gift shop, La Boutique du Doré, and were not disappointed- we found many local gifts and memorabilia to bring back home which was all reasonably priced. The lady working the shop that day was very kind - she pointed out that one of the t-shirts we had picked out had a defect in it and was being sold as-is. We had not noticed the inconsistency of the stitches. She told us she totally understood if we didn’t want it and not to feel bad. We put that shirt back but bought a whole bunch of other things. We noticed that the selection of sizes was sparse which may have been because we were there towards the end of the vacation season. Of course we had to visit the largest lobster for a quick photo opp - they built stairs into the base of the very large display to allow you to climb up for better effect. There are some picnic tables available to rest at or enjoy a quick lunch — that is if you don’t mind the frequent fairly loud construction noises. A very nice way to spend time admiring local artisans’ work.

Drop everything you’re doing and get a lobster roll from the purple shack! The girls working there are really unfriendly. At first it was because we thought they’d never seen Asians in their lives, but we realised that wasn’t true; they were just as unfriendly to the white tourists. Doesn’t matter which girls they are, we came here twice and had the same experience. The lobster rolls make up for it though. They are a good price at $11.45 each, but SO TASTY and the bun was fresh and buttery.

An excellent welcome center by the water. Large lobster statue for fun pics and shops with local products and snacks/drinks. Views of the water are nice.

Spent 20 minutes walking around, looking for this store. I found many signs pointing to it, but I just ended up circling around the mall instead! Impossible to find.

Very interesting place the beautiful women that were there were kind gentle and very informative. My wife and I had a wonderful experience bought several local handcrafted items. The only issue and it's not an issue it was a little bit difficult to navigate where exactly it was. But boy we were very happy we found it. Never hurts to ask for directions

My lovely wife Pat and I dropped by this place on our way to the beach. We knew this drive-in was closed but thought we'd stop by since we've never been and were in the area anyhow. We both liked how spacious the parking area is and noted, as I believe all drive-ins are now, sound comes through ones vehicle radio. I expect the sound is only as good as ones radio system. Plenty of trees around the area supplying lots of fresh air. Movie screen is humongous, clean and flat. The confections and bathroom areas are quite large and we both look forward to checking them out when this place is up and running. I will update this post once we've been able to attend one of their movie nights. Wonderful location.

Shediac drive in, only one in the area. What can I say - the location is right of the highway so super convenient to get in and out, the business is family owned so you are supporting locally, the prices are fantastic so it's great for families. The grounds are well maintained, but the bathrooms need to be updated\cleaned better. On site food is comparable to the actual movie theaters so pricing and quality are great. Sunday night on a rainy day so we were 1 of 7 cars haha. Even in the rain, the picture was clear and great quality. Thanks for a great night out :D

What a great experience! We watched the movies from the RV. We were camping at Ocean Surf and pulled out of our spot to drive less than 1km to Neptune Drive-in. I bet not a lot of people have experienced the drive-in from their RV ☺

Was a nice experience. Bathrooms are older but clean just keep an eye on the toilet paper make sure there's some there lol. You can see the screen from most places. If you get there just before the movie and have to be in the back not the best view but not bad to watch the movie. Two movies for 25.00 its good price. Most time it's one kid movie and one grown up movie. Will go back.

Our first time there and it is a nice little one, plenty of parking space staff is awesome and so friendly. Easy to get there and the screen is great in perfect shape and well cared for, the radio station for the movie is great clear and no static and super clear. Excellent place can not wait to go again.

This place is a pretty fun experience, I highly recommend it at least once. In terms of value, very high. You pay for your carload, not per person, and, the prices are always good (and typically for 2 movies!). Visual quality is actually pretty good considering - definitely high definition. Audio is about as good as your cars, but, the transmission was solid. Food/canteen is okay, prices aren't the most cheap, but, selection is pretty decent. All in all, good experience! If it's a nice night, rolling down the windows or sitting outside works very well (just bring some bug spray).

My son bought himself and his girlfriend matching bucket hats. I've been looking for something like this forever. They are reversible as well. Under $15, reversible... 2 hats in one. Tie dye with a plain side... grooviest hat I've seen in a long time! We just went in for hats. No kayaking (this time). Great service with lots of smiles on both sides of the cash. ;)

These guys were great!! Awesome spot to go with a nice little river close by to explore. Great spot to take the kids. Would definitely recommend this spot. It’s great even if the weather is a bit overcast, as the water was pretty warm.

Great experience and had fun. Unfortunately the guy with long hair that shows customers how to paddle and kayak was rude in front of customers. The water currents were strong on the way back, and it was almost impossible to paddle back to the shore. A guy that was on his boat helped us return by holding a rope. The guy wanted to tell the worker that they shouldn't send customers that far out when the currents are strong. The worker got very angry and was swearing in front of a bunch of customers.

I love South Cove Campground. The shower and bathroom facility finishings are first class and kept very clean. The tent sites are cozy and lots of sites for trailers. For me, being near Main Street is convenient for coffee, meals etc. The very large deck and seating is a plus for live music and potlucks. And a few minutes away is the warmest ocean water, a must to enjoy.

They ripped me off 50$, location for tents is basically next to a restaurent parking lot, no privacy.

Our Family Reunion this year (2022) was held at South Cove. We organized a Golf Tournament also. The facilities were perfect and the staff was friendly and help us put it all together. We ordered food from the nearby Pizza place. All in all, it was very enjoyable and everyone had fun. Julia Gautreau

Nice short Par 3 golf course. The banks at most holes makes it you don't want to land on the wrong side of the green.

It's one of the worst camper grounds we have stayed at. It is over crowded, it has no pool, the sites are not kept up. There is no room to back in your trailer. There is barely room to park your truck. The price goes up with all amenities . The wifi is sketchy at best. And its on the expensive side. Will not be back

We chose this RV Park for it's centralized location to drive everywhere for our vacation like PEI and surrounding Shediac and Dieppe. It's nicely located behind Main street so you can walk to restaurants and other areas. The lot was nice and big for our Motorhome as we pull a car behind us. The site was well maintained, clean and everything in working order. Staff was extremely friendly at check in, so much that we changed our stay from 4 to 5 nights. The construction noise never really bothered us as it didn't start until 7:00 am which is the legal time as per bylaw. My only hiccup and complaint is the rudeness of some of the seasonal people staying here. One morning early while sitting outside enjoying a coffee a seasonal gentleman from 2 rows over walked his dog right across our lot to do it's business right beside our firepit, then proceeded to walk around the back of our motorhome to check our license plate, all the while standing beside my company car to read the lettering on it. Comes back from around our RV to walk right past us back to his own lot, not a word. Not cool. The following afternoon another set of seasonals biking up and down each row chatting with their neighbours cut right across our lot as we are sitting at the picnic table. Again not cool. We have been seasonals elsewhere, follow the rules etc., and always show the same repsect for transients or seasonals. Here they are rude and act like it's their private property.

Friends have a trailer in South Cove Camping. It is a very well kept campground and quiet. It is one of many Campgrounds in the Shediac, Parlee Beach area of New Brunswick. I don't know about the Golf part as I was there to visit friends for a Birthday Party. I am not a camper but feel a nice pool would add to the quality of the park on those days when you don't feel like driving to the beach.

Due to some sort of miscommunication, people parked in the spot we had reserved had to move. Which, for us, wouldn't have been a problem except that we had to wait in our truck with the a/c running (we have dogs and it was hot) for an hour and a half past the checkin time of 2:00. They were upset (keep in mind they showed up 3 weeks prior with NO reservation) and really took their time about moving. I have to say the office was quite nice, but why was this being dealt with so late in the day? Why wasn't it mentioned to the people the day before? What if they had left for the day, then what? We did have a nice pull through site that was quite spacious but we weren't happy with having to waste our time at all.

A perfect short diversion, and it was even open on Sunday. It's a small building but has a nice selection of artifacts from different eras and about different aspects of the rail system I enjoyed reading about the drivers, passengers, and other aspects of the rail system. Definitely worth a visit!

We happened by this place by accident on date night. Turned out to be one of the best! It took some time to get our dinner but the place was just full of neat little things to look at. Lots of spiritual stuff. The music was along the lines of eastern meditation. Really food vibes. The food was fresh and made by scratch. The owner was down to earth and cool to talk with about her stuff for sale. We will come back. I recommend this place if you want to try something different that isn't way out there.

This is a gem! Ancient Roots Bistro remains our favourite place, after a 2-week trip through Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in July 2019. The ambiance is unique and charming, and the food delicious. If you have an interest in wellness, if you like eclectic spaces with odd collections of interesting and beautiful things, if you like unpretentious, fresh, wholesome food - don't miss Ancient Roots Bistro when in Shediac!

It was delicious, everything is homemade. The service was excellent. I surely recommend it.
