This place is good to time spend, and learn about our history. If you want to go there then take care to your bikes in parking for helmets and your luggage, speakers and standard is not allowed in fort. You can carry on the camera take a separate ticket for your camera. Understanding you can take a guide just for 500 or 1000 and 1500 rs. We are from Thane/Mumbai and this was my first visit to Hyderabad and to the Golconda fort. We had a really thrilling and wonderful experience at the site. Firstly, the day luckily was amply breezy, so architecturally beautiful and the scenic beauty was evident as we climbed to the top, nearly 700 plus steps. The site has been kept clean and the caves and rooms provide a cool shade for the brief pauses as one climbs to the top. It really is a photographer's delight!!

Good place for a few hours outing. Bring water with you else it will be hard to find on the way up. Most of the areas are well maintained. Parking and wheelchair access is there but not ideal for wheelchair use. Great view of the city from the top. Go during the afternoon for better pictures. Though morning and noon will be less crowded.

This is one marvellous fort. We had taken a guide which had costed us around 1K. The guide was the one which made the tour worth it. Knowing all the history and various architectural marvel was really great. One should definitely book a guide. Overall a must visit. P.S. book your tickets online to save 5 rupees per head.

Nice place to visit if you are in Hyderabad. The evening light and sound show is under repair hence we couldn't watch it. This happens in evening 6:30. Make sure you check it's website before planning for this show. Fort is big and has good history. Make sure you either read book or better take a tourist guide along. There are places where even if you whisper the sound travels more than a kilometre. Very thoughtful how in history people actually used knowledge of science which we just read and never use. Simple concepts but executed in perfection. You do not have washrooms here. So take care.

I visited this fantastic place for the first time in my life. The whole place is really good and the view from the top is non- forgettable. One small problem is the pungent smell on the top of the fort.yiu can see the whole city from this place. Get your water bottles before climbing, because sometimes shops are close inside the fort and they have only two shops at the height.

A must visit place to visit due to its historical significance. You should visit the fort in day time and avoid entering it after 4pm as the fort closes at 5.30pm in the evening. You will need around 2 to 3 hours and keep some food handy with you, you will not get anything except drinking water at the fort. It is recommended to visit during the second half of the day and then continue with a sound and light show at the fort to know its rich cultural history.

Most of these palaces and mosques are in ruins now, but still depict the magnificence of this place. If you are in Hyderabad, then you mustn't miss this place. There is a light and sound show in the evening. You can take the light and sound show tickets at around 5.30 PM. Paid parking is available, and parking fee is Rs. 50/-. Entry fee for this fort is Rs. 25/- per head and free for children. Also they only take cash for tickets, UPI or card payment not available, also they expect exact ticket amount, so one need to carry exact change.

Wow what an ancient fort to come to in India, absolutely full of rich history. I highly recommend to come and take a guide tour with more information. The entry ticket is 25₹ and you require at least 2 to 3 hours to explore the Fort completely. To understand the Fort and its history in detail you may hire a guide. The Fort and area are very well maintained but ruined by the so-called tourists by throw plastics everywhere. The Fort area is very big and requires hiking to reach the top, be enough hydrated and carry a water bottle along with you. The best time to visit is either morning or post 4 to avoid the sunburns. I love visiting the Forts as I feel the history in each and every corner of it. Inside the Fort, you will find many photogenic corners. Elderly with knee or leg pain stay away as you cannot return as it a one way stair once started will have to go to the top . Once on top will have to return as well . The view from the top is magnificent. And is worth all the efforts . The surrounding is packed with shops and sellers . There is a tea shop do get tea from there and the famous Hyderabad biscuits . There is a mix biscuits box which has all the flavors . They do t allow bags so either don’t take bags or sacs else keep it as the deposit station for 20 rs an hour . It’s a no vehicle done do have to park a bit far and then walk .

I’m reliably informed that weekends are particularly busy, and given the number of people on the mid-week day I visited, I’d encourage you to avoid them too, but it’s well worth battling the crowds to get into the center of the action. There are so many market sellers, although none are too pushy, live performances, and a generally friendly vibe. The history is great; there are so many good photo opportunities and a real insight into the local culture. Highly recommended.

One of the places not to be missed while in Hyderabad. It is most beautiful at night. We were not able to go inside, but the light up was so beautiful, it was worth it. The area around Charminar is a very busy shopping place. Main business being jewellery and bangles. The bangle stores will dazzle you with their bright display pieces. The monument still needs better handling. You can easily visit the place using public buses, or other transport based on your preference.

A beautiful place that acts as a Time Machine. I felt transported hundreds of years back as I stood admiring the breath-taking view of the Charminar. The bazaar surrounding the structure is vibrant and offer unique traditional items and an unbelievably affordable price. The roads are narrow and too crowded. But surprisingly I felt good about the crowd! Bargaining skills are highly valued here and one can get great discounts with good bargaining. I wish there was a bit more cleanliness here considering he fact that it is the icon of Hyderabad. Be prepared to face heavy traffic as you approach the minar due to narrow roads. I would recommend coming in an auto or two-wheeler to get the best experience. Also, be aware of pickpockets and thieves. The market is amazingly vibrant, so make sure to explore the various bangles and artificers that are on display. Overall, a great place and a must visit!

Visited A Star Place recently and the experience left me with mixed feelings. Worth a visit if you are on a trip to Hyderabad - it is around 1 1/2 hours drive from City Centre. Gives an idea as to how films are made and sets are constructed. Need to either reach by around 9 am or stay there in one of the hotels inside the previous evening as you need a full day to see everything. Even a full day is a bit rushed. Best to pick up tickets ('Studio Tour' is good enough) online, go to the centre point (Eureka), attend the opening ceremony at 9.45 am, proceed to Studio Tour/Eco Tour (must do), have lunch, then go for the shows. Don't miss the Wild West Stunt Show! Lights, Camera, Action is interesting too. Rest of the shows are average, especially for someone who has been to other studios/sets elsewhere. Food within RFC is average or even below average. RFC can make the experience better by putting up their detailed e-brochure, program and map on their website. Their email IDs and contact numbers on the website are unresponsive and this is an issue they should address. They should also plant more trees! Overall, it is a nice experience while on a Hyderabad trip but considering the resources, the management can do so much more to make it a 'must see before I die' experience.

Awesome place to hangout with friends or family. I visited in carnival season. Amazing sets. So beautiful. Full day trip with all sets and adventure park . Zip line, Arrow shooting, rain dancing, and many more games. You can book online and definitely skip the hectic queue.they are having their own shiny red buses inside to travel from one set to other. Food and water available inside. Very clean washrooms .kids have their own playing area with some rides and a great entertainment show with jinn , wonderful staff will show beautiful play to your child and will make them laugh. Last, you can enjoy many rides in their amusement area and enjoy snacks over there.

Fantastic experience. Car parking is near to ticket counter. Smooth entry and no waiting for bus. It takes about 15 minutes to actual Film City from ticket counter. Thereafter everything is arranged and organised so well that it becomes a day to remember. The volunteers are polite and helpful guiding the tourists all day long. Besides many film sets, there are plenty of parks and they are maintained impeccably. The cleanliness all around is outstanding and kudos to all who maintain it. The shows are all good and try not to miss them. Small food kiosks are available at every site and reasonably priced. Washrooms are very very clean. Moreover, drinking water is available at every place and one need not carry water bottles. The free rides offered in park are awesome. Moving around in customized red buses is special. Top class! I was surprised that we have places like this in India. Very well organized right from the time you enter the parking. All the shows were superb. If you don't want to miss anything, reach there early - it takes one full day. Towards the end there is butterfly park and collection of beautiful birds - they even have Ostriches. Cafeterias are clean and food is okay. When you reach, don't forget to take the bus tour first, that way you will know how much you are actually going to see and you can plan your time spent at each attraction properly. A must visit place. The ticket rates are extremely reasonable. In fact, towards the end, I heard so many people say the tickets are priced so low considering what they have on offer. Totally worth it!!!

A full on entertainment. Must place to visit for all age groups. The longer you stay the better it is. Tough to cover in one day. There are movie sets, parks, gardens, actions, dance sequences, horror house, food joints and full of adventure. Area wise it’s very big but there are buses from the pick up point which takes you inside.

It is a very good place for people who have seen the movies and love to explore the sets. Overall it is not worth the ticket price. All the items here are overpriced. The items in the adventure park are also way too costly. And the complementary ones are of no use. The food is good. The bus system is also a bit wierd. The buses only leave when there is a significant amount of crowd in the bus. But otherwise it was a good experience.

Must visit while in Hyderabad. Located around 60 kms from main Hyderabad city. Spread over 1600 acres. They have buses from the parking area to the film city and back. Multiple buses are in service. Full day tickets, morning or evening session tickets are available. Very well organized and staff are always helpful and advice where to go after every show. The usual waiting time is 15 to 20 minutes for the shows. Multiple food stalls are available everywhere in the film city. Food is costlier compared to hotels but still cheaper than malls. Buses are available from point to point and are always available. Need at least a full day to cover all the places. The important thing is people will start getting tired by 4 pm since we need to walk a bit within the studios even though buses are there.

If you are going to Hyderabad and not visiting "Ramoji Film City" then you should think 2Wice. So being an Indian we all have lots of influence of Indian Cinema Directly or indirectly on our life's through music, comedy, films, stories or any other way. So Ramjoji gives us the insight what goings on the other sides of the screen and how they shows us larger then life characters, scenes, actions. Its worth the price for sure. You need a whole day to explore and you should start early with the opening ceremony and you should stay till closing ceremony. Staff puts lots of efforts for sure to make sure we are having fun in a cinematic style. Few things which they lack or its not worth is the food they sell inside. Had very bad experience with this. Being so pricy they don't deliver the kind so service you expect and even the food quality is not that great. Specially buffets are not watched for the hygiene or the cleanliness. It's a must visit for everyone to see the world's largest film studio. Management is doing a good job, they keep providing the helpful information to see and help all the way from beginning to end. Drinking water and toilet facilities available at every place whereever you are going to need. It's once in a lifetime experience. There are lots of things to see and experience in one day , difficult to see cover everything in one day, still you can manage to see all if you will hurry. Food is expensive inside though , they should keep it reasonable, lots of people are coming here everyday .

One of the most entertaining places in Hyderabad for both adults and kids. There are different movie sets along with railway station, airport, shopping areas, some of the Indian and world famous monuments, many gardens, birds park with variety of interesting birds, butterfly and bonsai gardens, many different plants and flower gardens, restaurants, kids related entertainment and shows like Spirit of Ramoji, Action Show, Movie Making, Space Yatra, Rain Dance etc. It took us almost 9 hours to see most of the places. The Star Experience package was great.

Good place for family entertainment. Please book tickets in advance. You can either opt for full day trip or even a night stay where they have 3 different hotels available within premises. Provide food(lunch) and high tea both of which were upto the mark. Lots of places to visit. Dance show, stunt show, movie making show, botanical gardens, shooting sets, bahubali set, airplane and train setup, kids entertainment area and finally rides & musical show. Absolute fun.

The most beautiful and well maintained and most cleanest temple. It is on the top of the hill. Need to use approx 200 stairs. But steps are not so big. Convenient for old age people also. There is lift also. Cameras not allowed inside. View from temple are amazing especially in rainy season.

One of the best temple in Hyderabad, it is lord balaji temple, It is on top of hill, so you need to take approximately 200stairs, But steps are not so big so it’s convenient for old age people, There is a lift. Hussain Sagar Lake in walking distance. The place was a bit crowded during the weekend but it's worth going.

I visited first the Birla temple of God Venkateshwar.The temple was just Wow...😍✨it is fully build with marbles i have got to hear that it Is made with so much of tons of marble. Beautiful Baaji Temple on a small hill adjacent to Hussain Sagar & behind New Hyderabad Secretariat. Idols in the temple are very Devine. There is a lift available for Senior Citizens to reach temple top instead of walking through stairs. At night we can view the chain of lights of the Necklace Roads around Hussain Sagar Lake. As camera not allowed we couldn't take photos of it from temple top.

The temple is on a hill and doesn't allow taking photos inside. It has lots of stairs, which might be tough for older folks. But it's totally worth it because Lord Balaji is there. Plus, you get an awesome view of the city from the top, which is really cool. Overall, it's a great experience!

It is one of the best museums I have ever visited. It is a huge one and can get your whole day to see it all. I will recommend buying tickets in advance from BMS especially on weekends. There are plenty of collections of almost everything which you can think of for museums. The paintings are eye-catching. There are also some monuments which are pleasing to the eyes and also many of them are from foreign country cultures. I will definitely recommend a visit there.

One of the big museums in India. Variety of collections of old-age India kept here. You need to buy tickets before entering. One of the best things is that Soldier Clock at the time of 12 o'clock. Western block & Eastern Block, two parts are there. It needs 3-4 hours to visit the whole museum.

The place is great for history and art enthusiasts. It was full packed down on Saturday when I visited. People come with full families. There are so many attractions in the museum. We waited for the musical clock but it was not that worth it. But, the elephant tusk section is really good, though. Metal section is also really good. It's way way better than the museum at Chowmahalla Palace. The cafeteria is okay, you will get everything but would have to pay good money. Not enough space, it was total chaos at the cafeteria. Although, there is a restaurant, it was outside the main museum building. Visit on a weekday if you want to explore peacefully but I have heard, its mostly crowded everyday.

A museum that is really nicely kept up. Rs 50 for adults and Rs 20 for youngsters gets you a ticket. It's reasonable that they charge 50 rupees for each mobile. The museum houses unique collections of art and collectibles from around the world 🌎. The museum is set out neatly, with each level has a different set of rooms.

This is probably the best museum I have visited in India. We visited during Christmas break and the place was full. There was a long line for tickets which took about 20 minutes. It is possible to buy tickets online which I recommend if you go during public holidays. The museum is pretty big and the collections are fantastic. I found the Asian collection and also the literature collection to be very impressive. There are other rare collections like a carpet collection which might interest some people. If you like art, don't miss this museum.

For more details, the authority offers an app for an audio enabled guided tour. I haven't tried the same, but someone availed that the facility can comment on how helpful it is. Do not forget to sit on the chairs in front of the famous manual musical clock to capture the hourly chimes. Ivory room, clock room, and the double faced sculpture Mephistopheles & Margaretta are must watch.

A very well maintained museum. The ticket prices are very less just Rs 50 for adults and Rs 20 for children. They are charging 50 rs per mobile which I feel is fine. The museum is well organized with different rooms on a separate level. The main attraction is the veiled Rebecca and Cuckoo clock. They have provided a floor map on each ticket which is kind of helpful. They have a food court which has a lot of food items and it is required since one can spend the whole day in this museum. For kids there is a lot of learning going through each room and I can see the excitement in the kids faces. The museum houses unique collections of art and collectibles from around the world.

Located near MG Road metro,this place is a gem of Hyderabad. Entry fee is 50 rs, but will recommend to spend another 50 bucks for camera ticket as mobile phones are not allowed inside. The museum boosts of one of the greatest collections of the world. The place demands minimum 3-4 hours if you want to at least just visit every part of the museum. The museum has collection from different parts of the world. Veiled Rebbeca and singing clock are the two most sought after attractions of the museum. Overall verdict - definitely recommended.

Good place to visit. All the artifact's are stored nicely. Musical clock is the major attraction. Lift facility should be provided for senior citizens and disabled people. Food court to be improved. More seating to be added and counters should also be added at least on holidays. Over all good place to visit.

Certainly a great place for kids and adults to get a peak into the history. To think that this collection is by a single person is simply amazing. The place is nicely maintained, food courts have good tasty food reasonably priced.

It's a massive museum having different artifacts from different regions. I really loved the place and feel good to know about our history. There are several sections such as french, Japanese, Chinese and of course Indian history. I would suggest booking tickets online. Overall the experience was good

Great museum with such a wide collection of exhibits and paintings. Even the architecture is beautiful and the entry fee is also very affordable with it being 50rs. The one drawback is for each phone or camera you have to pay extra to take inside. The canteen is good too. Overall a good space with such a unique collection and well maintained.

Museum of good collection. Situated in center of city near to Charminar and Nehru Zoological park. China clay vases bronze statues European paintings and musical clock are the main attraction. Spend a whole day then you can watch it completely.

Ive been visiting this place on and off since I was a kid. Always mesmerized by the collection held here. Although, this particular time it was a bit disappointing to see the state of the building. Perhaps some care can be shown to modernize the display cases specially on the ground floor to really show how impressive this collection is. The pieces are beyond impressive but presentation let's them down a little bit.

Such a huge and vast museum. So many things to see many historical things are kept here. Parking charges for bikes are 20 rupees and entry tickets for Indian adults - 50, child - 20 and for mobile and camera they charge 50 also. I think that's ok. The mobile ticket will get access to use the audio guide for the museum and I think that's a good integration and it makes the ticket worth it and justify the pricing. In this huge museum you have to pay for everything even for the washroom. Online tickets are a little complicated. Otherwise everything goes smoothly.

The museum has such a beautiful collection, which unfortunately contrasts with the state of the building it is hosted in. The place is not kept clean and is rundown. On a normal day, the museum is very overcrowded, to the point it is difficult to enjoy the beautiful displays. There is a cafeteria that feels unhygienic and lacks things like a Coke Zero. As for tickets, there is no online booking, quite some queues to get tickets on arrival, and you need to buy separate “phone tickets” if you wish to take pictures. The main attraction is an old English clock. Beautiful museum, but didn’t really enjoy the day there.

Beautiful well maintained historic artifacts. I loved the brass room, glass room. Dresses worn in those times. A beautiful very old clock chime was the pinnacle of my visit...about 100 sat in utter silence for the hourly chime and then a thunderous applause of the audience.

The entire lake is surrounded by fun activities and refreshments. It a boiling pot of Indian culture, with people of diverse origins sharing a place. The tourist destinations include a bunch of very well maintained parks and gardens, religious sites and amusement parks. Keeping in mind the necessity of maintaining a well-rounded decorum for the young people, there is the sanjeevaiah children's park only allowing children inside. The flowers all around the lake are impressively maintained by the authority. The ghats are mostly dirty though, but anyways you can have a good time taking walks and enjoying the sunset.

It's most impressive at night when the statue's lights are turned on. Tankbund road on hussain sagar lake is good for morning walkers, senior citizens to spend time in the morning hours. In the evening families visit the tank bund with their kids and spend time in the lawns of the tank bund , have snacks and enjoy the view of Hussain Sagar lake. Tank Bund has been a major tourist destination as well as a popular local attraction after recent beautification by the Government. This is a popular spot for people who want to unwind.

TankBund is a place where you can enjoy the view if only you visit early in the morning. With years there has been a decent improvement in cleanliness to seating arrangement. The water is serene but not completely clean. Hyderabad needs a lot of improvement in regard to cleanliness and throwing of waste. People throw here and there even after seeing the trash buckets. There should be a law passed for this specifically - maybe there can be a change in regard to cleanliness. Otherwise you can enjoy the fresh air and have a calm family time.

I went in morning, and boating was not started. I enjoyed the moment of pride which I felt after seeing our Indian flag. Wonderful.

Hussain Sagar was built across a tributary of the Musi river in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. The lake was named after Hussain Shah Wali, who was the Master of Architecture in the Kingdom. It is an artificial lake that holds water perennially fed by canals from Musi river. Hussain Sagar was the main source of water supply to Hyderabad before Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar were built on river Musi. The Buddha statue was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighing 450 tons. It was carved by 200 sculptors for two years. The statue was transported to Hyderabad in November 1988. After initial problems, the statue was erected on 12 April 1992 on a red lotus pedestal.

A beautiful place to visit at night and boating is a must do stuff. The view is so nice. But don't expect that you can sit nearby the lake and enjoy it while putting your legs in it. Boundaries are all over the lake and also the water is kinda black, not clean enough but it doesn't stink at all. A must visit place

This is a residence converted to Museum by the Nizams of the Hyderabad State. The place is good one time visit to see our history. The chandeliers are beauty to eyes, Back side of the palace is green and fine picnic spot. Vintage cars are the must to see. Overall good place to hang out with friends and family. For tickets: keep cash handy. Parking : we went in weekend and it was fully packed inside for parking. No parking spot outside. You might have to spend some time here to park.

There’s a canteen available with limited food options, separate washrooms for men & women. Better to visit in weekdays (heavy crowds on weekends). Couldn’t find any tour guide for an explanation but there’s lot of information available next to the item/place/antiques. As there’s lot of walking around, better to carry water bottles. .

The beautiful palace is located near the Charminar. The entry ticket is Rs.100 per person. The place is very neat and clean and there is no rush. You can see the whole place in about 2 hours. They also have a vintage cars collection along with motorcycles. The armory is also impressive and also has some old currency and soldier's uniform and one can get much knowledge about the history. The palace is of the royal family of Hyderabad. Very impressive paintings over there. It is worth a visit there.

Canteen for snacks is available. Wheel chair accessibility is available but to see the palace need to climb stairs which may not be possible.

Rich, Elegant, Detailed, Royal, Stunning. It is a great place to spend time in the city. The entry fee is Rs.100 per person, but it is worth the spend. There is a museum shop where you could buy silk clothes, books etc. You could also take Royal pictures of yourself (Costumes provided) at the palace for Rs.100. There is ample parking space, place to sit and relax. The design of the palace was so detailed and intricate. The Royal belongings were well preserved and a treat to the eyes as the observer could see the entire life and imagine it.

A massive eighteenth century palace of Nizams of Hyderabad spread in 12 acres was well maintained & conserved. Large courtyards & ceremonial halls were impressive. Belgian chandeliers & beautiful marbles were amazing. We took picture in Royal dress, it was wonderful. A good collection of vintage cars was outstanding. Cleanliness of the palace was noteworthy.

Absolutely beautiful place. One of the most good looking palaces I've been to and so well maintained inside. The staff from the lady handling the washroom to the security guards around, everyone is so courteous and warm. The area has lots of palaces and places to see around. The car collection is also a must see because its absolutely fascinating how there are cars more than 100 years old. Must visit in hydrebad!!

This palace belonged to the Nizams and was opened to the public as a museum in the early 2000s. It is surrounded by narrow crowded roads and encroached by modern houses all around. The place has the main palace, a garden and courtyard kind of thing in the front, a clock tower and smaller mahals around it. The main palace has the darbar with beautiful chandeliers, rooms with the description of the history of Hyderabad and the Nizam Lineage. Also, there are rooms with old currency, seals, crockery, royal arms, army attires, etc. There is a beautiful garden at the back also with a small fountain/pond. Some of the mahals were closed or under renovation. Was disappointed as I couldn't see the Vintage cars. Overall, it is a good place to spend a couple of hours. Entry is 100rs per person, and you also have to pay 50rs if you want to click photos on the phone(but no one checks this). Beware of the parking lot supervisor. They try to extract more parking fees than the actual.

It's a beautiful building complex with 4 courtyards surrounded by heritage palaces. It's a museum hosting some beautiful cutlery, silver work, wooden antiques, artillery, vintage cars, etc. The highlight of the place is the Darbar filled with beautiful detailing work. Entry free is Rs100 for Indians and Rs400 for Foreign Nationals. There's a small canteen where you can buy snacks, cold drinks or coffee/tea.

Amazing and huge palace with lots of exhibits, even including a few vintage cars on display. Everything is maintained very well. It takes at least 1.5-2 hours to finish the entire tour at a leisurely pace. They also have a small stall where you can wear special outfits and take photos for a fee.

Wonderful zoo spanning over 200 acres , they try to maintain well but sometimes lag due to public non-cooperation, animals are fed well and are in good shape. The infrastructure and canteen facilities can be improved a bit. Best time to visit is early in the morning when the environment is calm but you can expect more crowd coming after 12 PM. PROS: prime location , environment and neatness , fares. Cons: Limited product's in canteen , lack of proper maintenance of washrooms.

The place is so big it is ridiculous. It never knew about the Safari inside. it came as a happy surprise. Actually it is the highlight of the zoo. Also the deer park is breathtaking. The elephants were very shy though but it's okay it was afternoon when we went there. It was an amazing experience. Worth my time. Although the Hyena enclosure should be redesigned it was almost open for the animal to get out and start eating people which is only entertaining in films.

Great place for kids. A must getaway for nature lovers. It has got all noted animals. BOV, Boating, Toy train, Safari, AC bus safari are the means of travel inside Park. You can also walk all along. Sign boards are helpful. Try this if you got time of an hour to a day. You won’t regret.

I liked this place for spending time with family , friends. Here all type of animals were not available(lion,tiger, birds,peacock, giraffe, snakes, tortoise,rabbit ,elephant are available). Infrastructure is good. They are maintaining well. Inside park you can travel by train or vehicle(they are providing with cost). If you wanna visit with family or friends for spending time it is good place for that.

Nehru Zoological Park (also known as Zoo Park) is a zoo located near Mir Alam Tank in Bahadurpura, Telangana, India. It is one of the most visited destinations in Hyderabad. Great experience for kids and adults too. There are very few zoo nowadays that are maintained and organized in a structured way. Very well maintained and organized. The electric vehicles are also managed appropriately. I really liked that they have strictly banned plastic inside the zoo. The zoo is huge and it's better to roam it in parts. A day it's at least required to visit this zoo.

The place is well-maintained, a nice place to visit with young kids and younger adults. It is always a welcome place that accentuates the enthusiasm within their thought processes. People who visit the place should also be responsible for the cleanliness of the place, but it isn't the case with many of the visitors. Hiking the entrance price might be one of the ways to avoid such people entering the premises.

Very beautiful place to visit as early visits. I have already visited 7 times earlier. Nice place yo bring kids,they will enjoy it 👌. Food stalls also increased. Drinking water available with good taste and quality. Best place for weekend times. Maintainance is very good. But the map is not clear as mentioned as many enclosures are under repair or construction. Number of animals also decreased. Overall experience is above average.

I had a good time at the zoo. It is quite large and may take 4-5 hours to complete if walking. Arriving early will provide parking space, as latecomers might have a long walk back to their cars. Weekdays are the best time to visit. The zoo features a wide variety of birds and animals. We didn't have the energy for the safari tour due to long que. It's a good place to spend some time with nature. Also the management can be improved, it took us time to figure out the order and map placements are also kept in an odd place.

There are two points I would like to let you know about the Zoological park. One is the animals here are healthy and they follow strict care it seems. And the other thing is for the safari ride, there is no proper management system. You need to wait for hours even if you've booked your tickets online and you exactly know how it would be in our country when waiting in queue. All the people will push us and make us more frustrated, that thing annoys a person who went to enjoy the ride. I highly request the management or the government or the sponsorship members to kindly rectify this issue. When the public walk-in is more and this is a place where everyone wants to enjoy the moments things like these will ruin the overall experience. Rectifying this issue will be of a high help. And secondly, the care and space provided for animals could be improved, there is no proper space for them to walk and feel free. Either necessary improvements in geographical area wise can be made for the betterment in the future. We always need to take more care and pay close attention to these wild animals as they are becoming extinct due to various illegal activities across the world. I really hope I can see a slight change in the future.

Huge zoological park with variety of animals and birds. Nocturnal house is also good, but a separate entry fees to be paid. There are facilities for electric vehicle ride / road train ride to cover the zoo. Toy train is also an attraction. There were no apes/monkeys when we visited and only 2 tortoise, which could be added. Definitely worth the price of 70 on weekdays and 80 on weekends, and good place to take kids to. There are 2 food courts that offer both veg and non veg options, one could be found halfway through the zoo , and the other near the exit.

Very nice place to visit but the only problem is to crowded place and not much to eat between. Also if you prefer to walk then please check for road map you might miss some crucial animals and you might have to revisit to see them again.One of the best place for kids to enjoy. This Zoo park is maintaining good cleaning atmosphere. They banned plastic items which is appreciated. They are ensure clean the place as well. Kids enjoyed a lot here. Visited Bengal Tiger, Lion, Hippopotamus, fox, , specially butterfly garden is very nice Used Battery operated vehicle inside the zoo. It is convenient for the people who have kids. They ride the vehicle with low speed and explained about places. Overall it was good place for spending time with family. Big park but very poorly maintained. Not as per the hype. Most of the cages were empty and dirty. Grass area was also not maintained for sitting. Covid awareness is decent. Good thing is that they do not allow plastics. Car parking is good, costs 50 rupees for 4 wheelers. Entry fee is also decent. If maintained properly, it would be a great place for picnic.

Nehru zoological park is a must visit place in Hyderabad, in fact it’s a best place to visit with kids and family where you can have a nice chill pill picnic as well as have a breathtaking experience of watching all sort of animals and reptiles which you have never seen with naked eyes before. I would say The Nehru zoo is one of the 5 best places you can visit in Hyderabad. It's a great place to spend a day with family/friends. Watching wonderful animals up close is an incredible experience. The park is neat and clean. There are garden areas designated for picnic/simply relaxing. The big predator cats, The nocturnal park, The fossil park, The reptile park are amazing. Not to miss are also the Elephants, Giraffe, Rhino, Hippo and the Ostrich! If you're lucky, you'll see the white tigers swimming!! A Perfect place to spend a day especially in winter season. Plan your trip anyday except on Mondays as the park remains closed that day for maintenance. Also make sure you don't carry any plastic bags or containers or bottles as they are strictly not allowed. You can carry cloth/paper bags, steel boxes/containers for food and water.

Very big and nice zoo. They've organised each and every section whether it be reptiles, birds, wild animals, very nicely. It's so big and they have food stalls in the zoo so that you don't feel hungry and even if you don't take anything to eat you can always eat something inside. I saw a giraffe for the very first time in this zoo ;)

A must visit place in Hyderabad. Well maintained. Electric vehicles and toy trains are available. As the zoo is spread over a very large area, it is recommended to use electric vehicles, especially for senior citizens. Recommended to opt for the Non-AC Safari bus, because the waiting time was very very long for the AC bus, during my visit. Better to carry your own food. Booking of all tickets, including Safari, can be made online in advance. One can find different species of Animals, Mammals, Birds, etc. One full day will be good, to cover the entire zoo. Plastic carry bags are not allowed inside the zoo.

Beautiful place to relax on the weekends. 1. It took 2-3 hours to roam and visit all the sites as well as safari 2. For couples it may take 4-5 hours taking a slow walk, pictures and relaxing. 3. For families with kids, it would be enjoyable for the whole day. I prefer advanced online tickets to avoid queues as well as prefer walking rather than battery vehicles, if you can walk. For kids, the toy train ride for 20-30 mins may be worth trying. Overall a worth day. There is also a cloak room where we can keep our trolleys and bags. If you carry a laptop better lock it in trolleys or lock your backpack 🎒.

Good place to visit with family and kids. Always crowded. Entry fee is around Rs.80 per adults and around Rs.50 for kids. But the worst part is, you need to pay additional amount for certain enclosures. You can book the electric vehicles and the train ride for additional cost. It is well maintained but there are very limited animals and birds are available to watch compared to other zoo parks in the country. You can go for a safari in the bus where you can watch few animals like tigers, white tiger, lions, bear and few other animals very closely.

I visited this place recently with my friends. There were a variety of birds we saw and then elephants,deer,rabbits, then we saw jaguar which just came out from its den. We waited for more time to see the lion but it didn't come out at least once from its den and it is roaring from inside its den. we also got a doubt that whether it is the lion which is roaring or the speaker😆.Just kidding.... We also saw hippopotamus 🦛.I am seeing this animal for the first time, it's skin is so thick like rug..no...more than it. And...I thought that I will be able to see many animals but no, only elephant,jaguar,hippo.. I have seen.

We visited the zoo in the afternoon. Surprisingly, the atmosphere was pleasant and calming, and the well-maintained park offered three sightseeing options: toy train, battery vehicle, or walking. Offline ticket counters were available at the entry gate. We opted for the jungle safari, exploring restricted zones with open lion, tiger, and bear. The safari was thrilling, but be prepared to wait for ac bus . Our experience at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad was enjoyable.😊

Well maintained park. Recommended to use battery operated vehicles they provide because the park covers a vast area. Some points we couldn't visit because of time constraints. Safari is also recommended. We got to see lions, tigers, spotted deer, bears etc. but spotting these wild animals is not guaranteed. Drinking water facilities everywhere. Must include in your itinerary.

Temple located near ORR Hyderabad. Also called as Visa temple. Getting there will take 1hour from city. Parking fee is 20rs. During weekends, its heavily crowded. It is better to go in weekdays ~4pm reopening time than weekends. For wish, it is said to do pradakshinam (walk around) for 11 rounds. After wish is attained, devotees walk for 108 rounds.

A nice place to get out of the city atmosphere. Weekday rush is quite low. Ample of parking space for cars. Shop keepers help you in parking vehicle. Later, we end up buying coconuts/flowers with them. Post covid, there is no pradakshina concept inside the premises. So, I’m not sure how the visa god takes 11/108 pradakshinas now! What we heard was, we need to it around the temple for a big pradakshina. That would be almost 4 old pradakshinas for one. As TTD didn’t takeover, there is no concept of hundi but a person collects money for temple betterment. Manjira water supply to city starts from here. That’s a scenic view to look out for!

Surely one of the famous Balaji temple 🙏 People believe that who ever visits the temple & offer 11 pradakshanalu will get their visa approved easily by god's grace After their visa approval they have to visit the temple again & offer 108 pradakshanalu After COVID the temple authority made a rule that u can do 1 pradakshina outside the temple which is equal to 11 pradakshanalu inside the temple & 11 pradakshanalu which is equal to 108 pradakshanalu inside the temple So your choice whether to do inside or outside the temple & in weekends pradakshanalu is not allowed inside the temple keeping in mind the rush of devotees on that days In weekdays u can do pradakshanalu upto 6.30 pm ,if some left no worries, remaining can be done outside 😊 U can see lots of students doing it Outside the temple u can get seasonalfresh fruits & there are lots of shops too There are small hotels so no worries abt food But better to reach as early as possible to avoid rush 🙂

You get peace and beautiful atmosphere and realise that this a good place for spiritual activities, there were good cafeteria were Indian food (meals)are available for reasonable prices, we can find many shops after darshan like key chains,dolls, hand threads, fancy items,eatable items prasadam items many more with very reasonable prices! Divine experience for sure. Try to reach by your own vehicle or pre-booked vehicle from Hyderabad . Reach early morning or early evening by 4.00pm where crowd will be less. Ample parking is available and on weekdays. You can do Parikrama from inside the temple itself on weekends you need to do outside the temple. Limited buses are available from Hyderabad.

We were here on Sunday and the crowd was less as we reached here by 8.30 AM. Try to come as early as possible as the temple gets open by 6 AM in the morning. Parikrama is allowed inside the temple only from Monday to Thursday and on Friday, sat and Sunday you have to do parikrama outside. It becomes very hot as time passes by and it will be tough to do the parikrama. Come early if you want to do the parikrama on weekends. There are a lot of shops around the temple from where you can eat and you can also do window shopping.

Been to Sri Chilkur Balaji Temple on 23-12-2023 , it is an auspicious day of baikunth Ekadashi . Expected huge crowd. As the buses are free for ladies,, a huge crowd of women’s flowed. The temple community has arranged it very organised manner. Each and every one get opportunity to see the diety 🙏.Out of all “ Govinda “ chanting by all makes the temple premises so mesmerising. Govinda Govinda … still it is resounding in my ears . My daughters all felt so good . The best Birthday ever .

The temple itself is nice, but as soon as you enter, a few people aggressively push you to buy coconuts and Pooja items. However, the prices are quite high. Once inside, the atmosphere is pleasant. Additionally, many people visit the temple seeking visa approvals, placing their trust in the god. This adds to the atmosphere of faith within the temple.

Blessed to visit the Chilkur Balaji temple which is also known as visa Balaji. The temple and surrounding place is very developed now as compared to my last visit in 2020. Everything is good except the commercial shopkeeper and parking space management, they just try to loot everyone. Some officials or govt should look at this issue.

During his tenure, he spent large sums to erect several statues of people from the region's political and religious history. During his visit to New York, he saw the Statue of Liberty and was inspired by the efforts to restore it. He said "I wanted something like that great place to visit... That would have been my contribution to society."[1] Rama Rao chose to depict Gautama Buddha because "he was a humanitarian who told the whole truth to the people. It is our pride."[1] After a long search, he found a solid white granite rock near Raigiri, Bhuvanagiri (Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district) on a mountainside 46 km outside Hyderabad. In October 1985 NTR inaugurated work on structure. For over a year, hundreds of labourers helped the temple architect and builder S.M.Ganapathi Sthapati create the statue. After five years and the expenditure of US$3 million,[1] the statue stood at 58 feet (18 m) and weighed 350 tons, making it the world's tallest monolithic statue of the Buddha.[2] A concrete platform measuring 15 feet (4.6 m), now referred to as the "Rock of Gibraltar,"[3] was constructed in the middle of Hussain Sagar to aid in erecting the statue. The roads of the city were also widened for this purpose.[1] This statue is located at Lumbini Park in the Hussain Sagar Island can be reached by boat in 15 minutes.[4] The statue is near to Lakdi-Ka-Pul, Khairatabad and Assembly Hyderabad metro stations.

It is a beautiful white statue that gets lit up by night. There are passenger boats available for Rs. 50/- per person, that takes us across to the Buddha statue site. Passengers can disembark there and look around the statue. The place has been adorned with lights and fountains to make it more appealing. You can also look and click around the lake front. Evenings are light breezy and make for a wonderful evening. Please note- you have to first get a ticket for R.20/- to enter Lumbini Park (the actual site) and then get the tickets for your boating from a counter therein. There are passenger boats, speedboats, dancing boats..... There are eateries around the area. So go ahead, enjoy!!

Get a boat ticket for 50 rupees to visit this statue, and once you get on the boat you can have a good ride in the lake to the statue. Statue is good, there is nothing much to do near statue other than to take photos. After some time you can return in the boat to the same entry place back .

Better option to get the ticket is to scan the QR code at entrance through google lens and pay the ticket because ticket counter guys don't have change for even Rs 100/-.... Worst thing is no shoulder bags allowed and don't know how secure is the claok room... Cloak room looks poor👎 and the attitude of security personal also 👎.. . So whoever visit this place, Please dont bring your shoulder bag... Carry a small bag if needed with you... Lumbini Park is not at all worth for Rs 20 especially the claok room.......Giving 2 stars for Buddha Statue...

Once you reach the location of the statue, you will undoubtedly be enveloped by a delightful atmosphere. However, the journey to the destination via boat can be a bit overwhelming due to the substantial crowds. Even on a weekday, when my companions and I visited, there was a significant influx of local people eager to explore the site. Nevertheless, the breathtaking view of the nearby secretariat building was truly awe-inspiring. I highly recommend visiting this place in the evening, after sunset, as the illuminated lights on the Buddha Statue create a mesmerizing spectacle that should not be missed.

Awesome boat ride to the statue.. pls take the 50 rupees ticket and go to this amazing place! There are other boats like speed boat, dance boat which costs 350 and 550 something but they won’t take you here. This 50 rupee boat ride was really good, especially in the evening times with the lights! The city view from the middle of the lake looked so good! There are bots until 9:30 and closes at 10:30pm. So, we enjoyed and had good time there!

Entry fees for all 20/- and after entering u if u want to go to Buddha status then u have to take ticket starting from 50/- per head and u can get a boat having nearly 50 seats...it will take u to the buddha statue then will bring u to the park.... Bring water bottle from outside inside everything is very expensive.

This place is located near the secretariat, surrounding this there are many tourist spots there. It seems the statue is made of a single stone and it's in the middle of the lake..... As usual first you have to take an entry ticket for the park and inside the park you have to take tickets separately for all activities..... To reach the Buddha's statue there are many various boat services, one is cheaper like 50 per ride..... Remaining all family boats and speed boats, dancing boats are all not worth the money and celebration boats are also available here.

The statue is absolutely a great piece of art. As it's only a single stone it looks great . The place is mostly crowded and there are various places around where you can get a boat for around 50-200rs PP return ticket. The worst part is it's in the middle of a pond which smells extreme and you can't avoid it.

If you want to see the amazing view of this place you must visit this place at night with Hussain Sagar light show this place looks extraordinary. When I saw that I felt speechless. Even if you visit in days then this will also be worth it because of the blessings of His Holiness Dalai Lama. He stabilised the foundation stone of the statue in the middle of hussian Sagar beside you can go the place by merchandised ferries, speed boat and by family ferries also. If you are in a group and if you have the budget then you must rent the family ferries that will be a great experience. Otherwise you can enjoy your site seeing merchandised ferries. Some nearby places are lumbini park, ambedkar statue and telengana State text book headquarters and many more things.

Lumbini park entry ticket is 20 rupees and another 50 rupees for a boat ride to the Buddha statue for adults. Minimum two hours is a good time to visit this location.

It is a good place to visit with family, and a kids' play zone is also available. My suggestion is to visit only nights. It is a good place for shopping. But you will find the same goods in 200-300 rupees lower price in other markets. I love this park. I’ve been in better appointed parks without broken-down boating parks and half the areas closed down but this place is loved and cared for by those who are there and that comes across. It’s also a quiet space in a busy area with a generic market (not a patch on Charminar) but it’s a great place to stroll through and just be alone with your thoughts for a while

This is one of the best and most underrated places in Hyderabad. When I first came to Hyderabad, I never thought about visiting Shilparamam. However, my parents suggested it, and it turned out to be awesome. It's huge and has many things to explore. You can see a pond, beautiful huts where you can take numerous pictures, a bird park with a variety of birds, and many shops where you can buy antique items and much more. I highly recommend visiting this place; it's truly a hidden gem in the city. We really enjoyed this place. The ticket price is only 60 INR, which is nothing compared to the experience this place offers. It's a must-visit if you want to spend quality time with your family. The variety of activities and attractions available make it well worth the visit, and the affordable ticket price makes it accessible to everyone. I highly recommend this place for a fun and memorable family outing.
