Amazing as always, probably my 10th time visiting the orphanage. Always fun and educational. Get there early for a good spot. Currently only one showing per day, it used to be two. So the crowds get big. Wonderful to see a rescued rhino on this visit

Such an amazing place, considering the work they do on behalf of orphaned baby elephants. The elephants are simply beyond adorable. It’s so fun, watching the babies play in mud and with each other and to pet them as they walk past. Also, while they enjoy playing in the muddy water, they can splash spectators with the muddy water, as they did the people standing around me (I had faster reflexes…lol)…such fun. Definitely a must -do activity.

A must visit for children or adults. David Sheldrick trust are doing a commendable work rescuing helpless elephants and rhinos. Book your visit in advance as the viewing time window and strictly one hour 11am- 12noon. Only limited number of spectators are allowed in so as not to stress out the animals. They way these babies understand cues and admonishes from the attendants like little kids is just adorable. They give you stories of each rescue and let you sponsor the orphans and send you regular updates on them. They give you time to ask questions at the end of viewing. It's a lovely place to be.

You better book early enough just to avoid inconveniences at the gate. You wont be allowed to in without booking. Awesome place to learn about orphan elephants and how to take part in conservation. You can pay entrance fees to National park and use the same ticket at the shelter.

Such a unique experience! The baby elephants are all orphans and have a backstory that they guides will tell you. The reintroduction that this facility does is amazing and great for the environment. Watch out when they get in the mud pit, they love spraying muddy water at people!

Really nice experience. Baby elephants are super cute. They come in 2 groups of almost 20 elephants. In the meantime the head keeper tells the story of the nursery as well the story of each baby elephant. Total duration of one hour, 30 minutes per group. Totally recommend to everyone visiting Nairobi.

Ellies!!! My favorite humans. Very interesting to see all the baby elephants. It was so much fun watching elephants run to get their bottles of milk. Also very knowledgeable tour on an hour of visiting them ! A must go place in Nairobi

An educational and preservation center, where the focus is on the baby elephants well-being. Do not expect a “circus show”, but some real eye opening experience. The baby elephants are presented for only 1 hour each day, during this time you can observe them feeding and playing. I appreciated the lead caregiver explaining the history of each baby elephant: where was found, in which condition, what happened to its mother, how it evolved in the nursery and of course its name.

Wonderful, so lovely. The baby elephants were so playful and happy. It was such a delight to learn about these animals individually and how they have been rescued.

Super cute! Impossible to get this close to baby elephants this close on game tours so absolutely worth a visit. We always plan to arrive 5mins before showtime and make our way to the far side as the viewing area by the main entrance is often congested. The elephants enter through the trees on the far side, so every viewing spot is a great one.

Such a memorable experience at the elephant orphanage. The guides were very interactive with the elephants which was nice to watch. We got to pet a few baby elephants and took loads of photos.

Happy I got to visit the center! Elephants are so cute and got to see them up close with a baby rhino as well. Lovely watching them overly excited drinking the milk and playing around. Great job the staff is doing there protecting them, healing them before they are back to their natural habitat. Try to be close to the gate when you arrive so that you have no one in front of you once inside and be able to touch the elephants ☺️

This experience is perfect for all ages! The giraffes are so kind and very humorous. You will enjoy getting slimy warm tongues all over your hand, and the giraffes love posing for pictures! I would totally recommend this excursion.

What wonderfulness this place is to teach and learn about these gracefully stunning animals. They had ten fine Giraffes who all seemed very happy to munch half a coconuts feed from our hands. Breeding and maintaining a small herd in great facilities. Lovely shop too full of things, including one of the best chess sets I've ever seen. Come here and get up close to some charming gentle giants. Look out for the warthogs, too! If you are into sustainable biodiversity and conservation, then you must visit.

It was an amazing place to visit, although not very big. It can take around an hour. The very best part is hand-feeding the giraffes, an amazing activity. There is also a small museum, in which we received a nice explanation.

It was such a fantastic experience. Giraffes are so adorable and beautiful. We can feed them and I really enjoyed interacting with them in a calm nature. When entering, nobody is allowed to take plastic bottles inside which can be retrieved. Great initiative for preserving the environment.

Loved the fact that there are guides present at all times because people tend to push limits with animals, the centre has well marked systems in place from entrance to exit and are very well organized. The giraffes are magestic and can be friendly once they warm up to you, you can also spot warthogs below I enjoyed my visit. Will definitely pay them a visit again.

It was a nice experience to feed the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre. However, the experience was just about a few minutes long. They had a place where they gave us some history about the place. Also, what I liked is they had several places where we could wash our hands with soap, making the experience very hygienic too.

An amazing experience. I was first in st 0900 and best as no one else so all giraffes came to me to feed. I stayed 3 hours and not rushed to leave. Loved it. Nature trail well worth walking too.bso allow another hour

It's a nice place. For Non Kenyan residents, the entry fees is 696 Kenyan Shillings. At the entrance, they use to provide food of Giraffes in a coconut shell which we need to feed to Giraffes with our Hands. You can click pictures with Giraffes. It is really a fun place.

A lovely place to visit while in Nairobi. The place is family friendly and has ample parking space. They also have a restaurant and a small gift shop. Being a giraffe centre one can also learn about the various giraffe species, take pictures with the giraffe and feed them. Please make sure to also get a kiss with a giraffe while there. Highly recommend the place for a day visit.

This is a nice place located at the edge of the Nairobi. The place is a bit far and it takes around 40 minutes to get there. The place has a display of the history of the centre and has some exhibits. There are also large jigsaws of giraffes for young explorers. The main activity is to feed the giraffes. The place takes care of hygiene of animals and humans alike. 30-45 minutes is the recommended time to stay. There is also a small restaurant and a souvenir shop here. Recommended to visit

It's fun to go for a while to see the giraffes and be able to feed them. They close at 5:00 p.m. it is better to go in the morning because the giraffes are hungrier even though they eat all day. the place is next to the giraffe hotel. the tickets are purchased in the same place before you enter

A great experience for the family, feeding the giraffes up on a walkway so you are right up at their height. Probably only an hours activity, would definitely recommend.

We came excited to feed and take photos with the giraffes. It was fun to feed them and take photos. A must see for kids and adults who love giraffes. There were baby giraffes too ! It doesn’t take more than half an hour to go through the park. There is a museum section that you can learn about the history of giraffe center. There is another raised boardwalk section that you can feed giraffes and take photos. The area has lots of security, is clean and well maintained. There is also a small stand to have food and drink when you are done. Multiple wash stations are available to wash your hands. There could be more improvements in terms of maybe having more activities for kids. Maybe a section to have a giraffe centered playground. As we were leaving we saw a trail that was open to the public across the center and we went it for about five minutes. We didn’t complete the trail though. We didn’t know how long it would take and there were no signs describing how long it would take.

The giraffes are so cute and photogenic. park is accessible and the staff is friendly. My only issue is that there was no indication that the park doesn't accept cash until you get there. I might have missed it but as a foreigner I only had cash on me but the nice local ladies helped me out. Super thankful to them. Great experience nonetheless ❤️

We got to learn about Giraffes and also feed them with grass pellets and cereal pellets. It was a really cool experience. It was also great to see school kids come in to learn about giraffes. You can buy tickets at the entrance and there is a little coffee shop and gift shop at the exit

Come early to avoid the crowd. No need to book beforehand just turn up and pay by card at the counter. You have to wash your hands before feeding them. They are well taken care of and staff were very friendly. They also present an informative session about the giraffes which is interesting. A must do in Nairobi!!

I don't know... I feel like I expected more than. Just a walk around, seeing and feeding giraffes. Guides placed around the museum section with pictures and info would be great to better explain to visitors all the initiatives the organization is undertaking/has undertaken.

A good place for info on Giraffe @ Centre . The entry fees are to be paid by e-money which most non resident Kenyans visiting it would find difficult. Suggest-The centre to charge some extra bobs for cash entry fees. The work to create awareness is appreciable!Good place to spend an hour or so!

Worth a visit. You can pay the tickets either with credit card or M-PESA. Cash is not allowed (corruption). Going inside you have to do the security check, wash your hands, pay your tickets and go thru the ticket check. Please note, liquids or bottles are not allowed to bring with you. They must be given away at the security check. Once you’re inside, you will get a small cup of food to feed the giraffes. You can also see a small museum or educational center to discover more about the giraffes. The area contains also a small restaurant and a gift shop.

The park will surely present a pleasant experience if you know when to go. It is advisable to first inquire on when the best time to visit the park is as the main attraction of animals such as lions can be hard to find at times. Lastly I would highly recommend a guide as they know where certain animals can be found and crucially when.

Conveniently located Right in the heart of the city. So for those of you visiting Nairobi for a short period, this is the park you need to visit. Check migration dates etc before you venture out so that you aren’t disappointed. I was quite intrigued but he ivory graveyard and the governments efforts to curb poaching by. Truly commendable. Was so happy to see two lions as well. Thankfully they had just eaten, so were resting and we got a fairly close up shot of them. You definitely need a local guide/driver to take you in or else you’d be happy hire lost. Yes it’s a trifle expensive for non-residents

I just love the fact that it is right in the city!!! So you can just take a cab and go. You see the animals very close. Even though the park is huge you have 99% chance to see them all! What more to ask!!! Really a must visit if you are in Nairobi.

Nature is beautiful. Had an awesome experience here during an evening game drive. It was my first experiencing the wild and it was pretty interesting. Entrance was seamless, and was able to use a private car which made it even more fun. The most experience that capped it was the beautiful sunset. So beautiful!!!

This is definitely a national treasure and should be on the world map! It was an amazing experience! We set out early early and apparently that’s the best time. We saw lions, zebras, buffalos, a giraffe , antelopes and even almost caught a hunt by some lions. Our driver was super amazing and really helpful. That really added to making it super pleasant

It took 3-4 hrs to see the national park and animal orphanage. A wild animal habitat next to the modernized Nairobi. We couldn't see lions, but other animals were easy to spotted. Great place to visit next to the city and so relaxing and appreciate the nature.

If you have a bit of time to spare, visit this park! The number of animals you can see here is astonishing considering how close it is to the city. We took a half day tour and found all of the animals we were hoping to see. Lions, black and white rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, impala, eland, masai giraffe and much more. I also counted over 50 different species of birds including white-backed vulture and secretary bird. Two species I hoped to see.

Definitely not the most picturesque park in Kenya, but a great option very close to the city. Your best opportunity to see rhinoceros as they can be very hard to spot in the other national parks. The park is a nice introduction to Safari.

Very cool to be located conveniently in Nairobi. Good chance of seeing some good animals if you don’t have much time to spend in Nairobi. Overall I think it’s worth the effort to visit. Highly recommend booking a trip here. Pretty neat park and overall good experience.

The only national park in the middle of a city!! It was so amazing seeing quite a number of animals even the rare species like Cheetah, ostriches, rhinos, gazelles those that you do not see very often in just one hour. Very easy to drive though on a rainy season you need a four wheel for it kinda gets slippery. Had such an amazing time there with friends. Lions are so close up for good photography. Quite herds of antelopes and giraffes not forgetting the beautiful scenery of the city from a far.🥰

The good thing about that it is located in the center so you don't need to drive miles away to see some animals specially if you dont have enough time and they have many animals in side the park.....my recommendation is to be patient and don't make the drive rush you to exit and keep finding and tracking the animal..enjoy :)

Magical time I had here, just less than an hour from the city centre. Went for the safari in the morning was a great choice - to feel the breeze while enjoying the sunrise with the wildlife animals around. Took the 4x4 with James as our driver - he was an excellent driver and guide!

Lovely! We decided to treat the kids to a breakfast picnic at the park, followed by a self-drive game drive. The park roads have been freshly graded since our last visit so the drive was much more enjoyable. The animals were also quite in plenty. Best time though is early morning or late afternoon when most predators are out and about. We are planning another one soon... #TembeaKenya

This time was the first time to go safari and it was so good. I’ve been there at the morning so could see the most beautiful sunrise I’ve ever seen. Also, there were so many kind of animals in there than o expected so I was so excited and could have fan. I highly recommend this safari

I visited this park in September, 2915. I still have a lot of pictures. Just wanted to share with you guys. This safari is about 100+ square kilometers. Tremendous amount of wild live. Need to spend a whole day there. Make sure your car/truck does not breakdown inside the park. It is scary to have that thought cross your mind. Definitely recommended.

It's always amazing to visit the Nairobi National Park, though it's my fourth visit, I always feel like visiting for the first time. This time arround citing the big cat with their kill was a great experience.

A nice experience but despite being out in the “safari” for several hours we did not see very many animals, at least not as many as expected. Be sure to book your ticket online prior to arriving at the park. You cannot pay at the entrance. Cell service is terrible at the park. Even on their WiFi.

Wow! So close to the city! Unbelievable drive through the park! Saw rhinos, giraffes, zebras, lions, baboons, Cape buffalo and many soft skin animals.

A must visit country in life. Beautiful landscape with zero pollution and many many adventurous tourist safari parks.

The park as a way to fill in a day between flights and wow was it worth it! Our first national park but was a bit hesitant as it was so close to the town but we were not disappointed. We did have some issues paying the entrance fee as their credit card machine was not working and apparently often has issues. Lucky for us, our guide paid with his own card and we paid him the cash directly As soon as we went through the gates we saw animals almost immediately! The city skyline behind was just mind blowing If you have been to the Serengeti or any of the other great parks, this isn't spectacular, however we did see Rhinos , buffaloes. If we need to look at the beauty at the National Park will see that more needs to be done for the animals to make them more attractive. It would be easier to track animals for easy spotting. Sometimes we drove aimlessly for minutes. Looked like it was waste of time and the zoo would probably be the best bet. Getting to see the animals in their natural state is exciting. so it as great to tick that one off so early Worth the visit it. We saw lions and Buffalo.

Many people skip this place for better known areas of Kenya, but it's well worth a visit. There are so many animals. We saw over 20 rhinos today, many zebras, giraffes, warthogs and different bird species.

The guide Alan did a fantastic job in telling the history and story of Karen. The home has been kept in very good condition. Great place to come with young children ad the grounds has enough space to run around. Coffee shop is being opened soon, although we didn't know if it's by private company or the museum it self.

History at the palm of a hand, is probably appreciated a bit more if you watch " Out of Africa" first. Disappointingly no animals on site, regardless a "must-see " if you are in Nairobi. My advice would be to get a local Sim card with Safaricom and get Mpesa, it's such a popular payment method in Kenya, that it will make your stay MUCH easier. Have a good time.

Absolutely loved it! Seen Out of Africa about 10 times and a visit to Karen Blixen's home was on my bucket list. Well looked after by a personal tour guide.

It is a nice place with lots of history...the museum itself is the house Karen Blixen lived in so going there is getting a glimpse into her life and how she lived; what utensils and other home articles were available to the elite that time...her story is an interesting though sad one a little. There is also a small nature forest for those who love to go on nature trails and the field is beautiful for chilling on your shukas and picnic baskets

Very nice excursion from Nairobi. Our guide Ivy was phenomenal and we really enjoyed her perfect recollection of the history of the property.

Visiting the Karen Bluxen Museum took me to the set and plot of Out of Africa film. Also as this is the site of her home it made it feel vivid. Her presence and impact to the people in Kenya will continue to carry a major legacy.

The Karen Blixen Museum was a delightful experience. Prior to my visit, I had no knowledge of Karen Blixen, but the guide provided fascinating insights into her time in Kenya. Exploring her house and learning about her travels was both inspiring and beautiful. The scenery added to the charm, and with friendly staff, the one-hour visit was thoroughly enjoyable. Now, I'm eager to watch the movie and read the book!

this heritage site is the house of the famous author who are loved by all over the world people. It has a value to visit there if you're in Kenya. Additionally, you can find some wild animals like these photos.

It was quite a pleasant surprise. Compared to other tourist places, the exhibition and its surroundings are much better maintained. The guide was extremely informative, he knew everything about the place and its inhabitants. It really made me want to re-read the book.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Karen Blixen Museum and it was a lovely experience. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, providing us with a great insight into the life and work of the famous author. The museum itself was well-maintained and offered a glimpse into the past with its authentic furnishings and decor. One of the highlights was the coffee, which was delicious and refreshing. Overall, it was a great visit and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in history, literature, or culture.

This is the setting for the movie Out of Africa The historical Manor where author Karen Blixen once stayed is now a museum The lovely building and surrounding lawn is still very well maintained

It’s interesting to visit as a Dane, and it is amazing how much impact Karen Blixen have had on the area, given the relative short stay. The artifact in the house consists mainly of props from the film “ out of Africa “ and that’s a bit disappointing.

If you are a fan of the movie 'Out of Africa', it is a must-visit place in Nairobi. The museum used to be home for Karen, also the film location back in 1900s. It was such disappointing not to be able to take any pictures inside the museum though. Souvenir shop is very small. But garden itself is very pleasant to sit down and have sunbathing. Be aware that you need either Mpesa or e-citizen to enter.

A guide will provide you with the history of the farm and how it has changed over the years. The costumes from the movie are on display. No photos are allowed within the house.

One of the best ways to spend a day in nairobi. Was a pleasant surprise. We were there for 3.5hours but it still felt rushed. We had an awesome time. Its clean, modern and oh so rich. There’s culture, history, an aquarium, a snake/reptile park, a nature walk and a cafe. You have an option to take a guide (a must for our next visit). The staff all around are excellent and the charges extremely reasonable. Was pleasantly surprised at how many people were visiting. My personal favorites were the snake park and the banking history. Very wide variety of snakes.

Worth your time and money. Artifacts are well kept and maintained. A lot to learn about the history of Kenya. But the museum should come up with rules to regulate the school going children from making too much noise and jumping all over. Would advise going on a weekend or when the school's are closed.

Amazing experience. Favourite part was Joy’s art collection, unbelievable. Reasonable pricing. If you want to go through details, prepare for at least 3 hours and more (30min) for the Snake Park and Aquarium.

I very much enjoyed visiting Nairobi National Museum and the Snake Park. I was amazed by the African bird exhibit and the literally thousands of birds they had on display. A wealth of information for African wildlife fans. The central back and currency section was fascinating also. I hadn't realized how much foreign influence there was in Kenya and their banking system. The snake park was interesting and lots of variety of venomous and non-venomous snakes on display. The red spitting cobra seemed the most interested in us and say upright most of the time we were near that display. Also several turtles and crocodiles on display. The only thing I felt disappointed with was the much bigger cost for non-residents. It's common here in Kenya, but the difference for citizens and non-residents is steep. But not so much as the national parks here. 🤣

The place to go if you wanna discover more about the history of Kenya and some of the animals within. The snake park too is an awesome place to visit, especially if you wanna unlearn some myths about snakes. There's beautiful aquarius with beautiful fish too...

Grab a guide and enjoy the rich history you will learn about at this museum. It's a great place to learn about the people & history of Kenya as well as wildlife. I recommend the snake tour as well. There are very knowledgable and entertaining guides that enhance the experience.

Nice museum to learn about the history of Kenya. They also have display of all animals and birds you see in Africa, a good way to learn about different species. There's a scale park as well, although we didn't visit that. Overall a good place to stop if you have a couple hrs.

A very rich history of Kenya and well labelled items. Even without a guide you are able to read and follow all that is placed in there. It's clean and habitable and well maintained

The museum was a great experience (especially on a raining day in Nairobi). Our residence permits for us into the museum and snake park for 600. Museum offered a wide range of history and artwork representing Kenya’s culture, wildlife and political history. The snake park was a great addition where you can see reptiles and tropical fish. For the fullest experience I would allocate 1-2 hours for the museum and 30-60 minutes for snake park. Great for all ages and very family friendly with helpful staff and tour guide options.

Despite visiting on a Saturday which is one of their busy days still felt very comfortable as it is quite big and spacious so ddnt feel crowded at all in most of the sections. Spent about an hr and a half (which was definitely worth it). Lots to see and is very family friendly

Good to see but the guides could be better. They volunteer for tips so felt like my guide just rushed me through so I'd learn more by reading on my own. Still there are interesting things to see and definitely should be on your museum list.

I wasn't sure how good an experience the museum would be. But I really liked it. Especially because we got a free guide to take us around and explain to us the animal, humankind, and Kenyan history. I learned a lot about Kenya during this museum visit. We tipped the guide for his volunteer service.

The place is fun being around but I'd advice tourists who are non citizens to get a citizen to buy them tickets as they use e-citizen app. It's a nice place to learn about the early government and our Kenyan history .

An awesome guide who was knowledgeable and patient with our large and wandering group😊. He was thorough and concise and shared his country’s rich history with energy and pride! The temporary exhibition of a young, talented, and self-taught artist was icing on the cake!! It was a great day of learning about the rich history of this great country!

What a wonderful museum! I highly encourage a visit to this location. There's so much to see and learn. Our tour guide at the Snake House was fantastic. She was well knowledged, relatable, and a great story teller. Go to the museum on you trip.

Great museum with a thorough history of Kenya. An incredibly large collection of birds and wildlife found in Kenya as well. It is a great rainy day activity for family of all ages. If you can, I recommend buying tickets ahead of time using the evisa website. There are guides available, for cash, once you arrive at the museum which I recommend. The official, written descriptions are infrequent, so a guide really makes the experience.

This museum has a variety of collections all related to Kenyan history and wildlife. I was particularly amazed by the bird collection and the skulls in the “Cradle of human kind gallery”. Well worth a visit. I only had 1.5 hours and felt too rushed. I think I could have spent double that. Buy your ticket online as they don’t accept cash.

We had a delightful afternoon in the museum. I have been to world famous museums like the Smithsonian’s in the USA, and I’d rank this up there with them. It has good displays on the evolution, natural history and Kenya’s national history. All 3 displays were fascinating, factual yet insightful. We received a tour from museum volunteer Griffin and he was splendid at explaining and answering our questions. We are an inquisitive family.

Great escape from hectic Nairobi. This side was my favourite - quiet, beautiful and calm. But you can cross the road into the other bit - just remember to keep your receipt when you buy your ticket. Gets muddy after rain so boots recommended. Oh and no plastic water bottles allowed in the reserve!

What a fantastic experience. Enjoyed a peaceful morning walk with fresh air and all the beautiful trees. On the main path, it took me just over an hour. Looking forward to my next walking adventure

Such serenity!!!! It is not crowded as the other side of Karura. It is fully forested so the walk is under the canopy... well-defined paths and lots of space for nature to just be! If you're a nature lover, this is a must visit.

Always my preferred trail. So quiet, with great views of nature. Currently very hot as there are limited shady paths although this is not usually the case. Hopeful for the rains

The forgotten love child when it comes to the Karura gates. Featuring a café, bike rental shop, and an obstacle course to boot; Sigiria does not disappoint. Oh and did I mention the dogs? It’s a little slice of heaven. Give it a visit if you can.

This serene forest is a perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a peaceful escape. Its lush canopy provides a cool, shaded haven where people gather to hike, have picnics, and reconnect with nature. The tranquil atmosphere and the gentle rustling of leaves create an ideal setting for relaxation and outdoor activities.

Very ideal for a casual walk, a hike, a jog. There is sufficient security provided by the Kenya Forest Service wardens. That said, there is provision for one to tag along their pet like dogs and conquer the hike trail. One thing is for sure; this place provides the aura of relaxation and peace. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those that like to immerse themselves in the ambience of nature, this is the place to be. I did not see one but I bet this place is a good ground for Yoga enthusiasts. Birding and photography also has a place here. If you like everything botanical, most of the trees are labelled and you can gain insight of the local species of trees here. Highly recommended place.

100% recommend Karura forest for jogging, running, walking, picnics, chilling, meditating, sleeping, resting. It's nature at its best and breathing in the fresh forest air is healing to the soul!

One of my favourite places to go and walk or ride my bike. This side is smaller than the other side but generally less busy. If you want to escape the hecticness of the city, this is the place to come.

Best Park in the city. Its less crowded compared to the main forest, and the 10k trail is scenic and serene. The trails are well maintained, Rent a bike and enjoy the ambience.

Well-maintained place. I had a chance to visit the rooftop with friends. The charges are Ksh. 200 per head. The views of Nairobi from the rooftop are breath taking. We even managed to see planes taking off and landing in Wilson Airport. The air at the top is clean and soothing.

It is a fascinating place especially for school trips in primary school..like come see the tallest building in Nairobi cbd as they used to put it. It hosted the recent Mater Heart Run for 2022,it was spacious and security was tight at the entrance. The event was fully packed, the emcees of the show were entertaining for kids and teenagers and adults as well.

Probably one of the places you must visit during your stay in Nairobi. The view is good, price for foreigners is a bit high, but OK. What I didn't like is organization of exhibition itself. There are no evident signs where to go and the exit to the platform seems a bit dangerous. The view is amazing.

The atmosphere is beautiful and old world Kenya. The food was magnificent and the service was top notch. We had a wonderful lunch here and hope to go back soon.

It was good being able to tick my bucket list activities this day. The place is not far from the road: one can walk from the bus stop terminus: the arrows are very helpful. Prices are: kshs 200 adults kshs 150 children under 12 I.e Kenyans. It was nice seeing the crocodiles being fed at the scheduled feeding times: we witnessed the 4.30pm feeding time. Kids friendly and kids are able to see a replica of what they see on likes of natgeo. The place looked deserted at some places: hopefully they are able to revive and use all the space that's available and have more for us to see. Washrooms were not easily accessible: ones found near the boat riding place were locked. Boat riding was very nice: calm and refreshing

Nice place with a variety of things to do and see. Enjoyed the boat ride alot 😘archery, crocodiles, tortoises, and ostriches. Adult trampoline also available which I found to be amazing, and also kids park.

Mamba village was probably one of the best picnic spots back in the day, but has really gone down since I last visited. There are still a few positives; bandas are available. You can barbecue to your heart's content, but bring your own grill. Boating, fishing, horse riding are still options. All in all, the place needs an upgrade. But you can still have a fun time with family.

I feel like the place should be revamped, renovated and improved just like giraffe centre. Mamba village has really deteriorated over the years

Went to Mamba Village for an event...you guysssss we had to pay for entrance to the Village separately from the event tickets. That was wild to me 😂😂 And then we had to pay Kes 100/- or Kes 200/- for every game / ride that the kids played 😂😂. Like WTH? The grounds were separate from the actual crocodile farm which disappointed my daughter quite a bit. The food was great but the overall experience was not great. Can absolutely do better.

If you are interested in seeing crocodiles, tortoise and ostriches within Nairobi,this is the place! Feeding of crocodiles happens at 4:30pm. The place has a good atmosphere for a picnic (you can bring your own food and sit next to the small waterbody on site). Going by the art pieces on the walls & walkways,deserted amenities like the restaurant & club, play equipment, mamba village is no longer what it used to be. Perhaps a reminder that seasons come and go! When down,the only way to go is up :) Mamba village's light will shine... someday!

We pass by this place once a week just to take our minds off things. My children love coming here bits amazing for adults too. The ambience here is just so relaxing you want to keep revisiting it. It's a great way to spend the weekend a must place to visit it. Plus the staff our so friendly.

Nice place, so many crocodiles, tortoises and ostriches also present. Fishing is allowed, boat rides are available. There's however no restaurant, washrooms are extremely dirty. The place looks underutilised and not well kept overall. Can do so much better.

Online they have posted very nice photos. What you see is not what you get. The crocodiles are less than 20 and the 3 ostrich only. Very poor service and when I complained there was no reaction, was just being told there are crocodiles and ostrich and fish. I saw no fish. It was a waste of time and money. I would not advise anyone Who is not ready for a big disappointment to go. This place is a big joke. I would not recommend the place even to my worst enemy.

I wouldn't recommend it completely. It is very sad the place has run down and is in ruins. Looks abandoned and like a ghost town. Staff are trying the very best to make sure guests are comfortable but the environment makes it difficult to enjoy or even relax. This is a complete disaster. Art Gallery shops closed and dust settled indicates it has been closed for so long. During my visit some I observed school kids playing in bouncing castle, enjoying horse rides and being offered boat rides. Perhaps they were the only happy people at the facility. The cashier didn't have change but when I asked to pay using Card he found change somehow. Alot needs to be done to change the place. It still has potential but alot of things need to be done. For now it's a big NO for me and a huge disappointment.

The place looks abandoned. Atleast when i visited it which is shortly after writing this review. There is a lot of crocodiles. Some are huge too. You can also see ostriches and if you're lucky get to hold their eggs. There are activities which include horse riding which go for KSH 200, boat riding, and archery 🎯. While I was there, the prices ranged from KSH 200 for resident adults and KSH 1000 for non-residents. You can also do fishing. However, the atmosphere is a bit boring, the place is a wreck, most of the buildings are abandoned, some structures are damaged and dirty.

Exactly across De La Salle school is the Mamba village. To reach there you need to go through a cobble stoned road which is demanding for the vehicles. In the village you get to see crocodiles, turtles and ostriches, plus you can have a picnic there or take a boat ride. In general a beautiful and peaceful place. Personally I had a difficulty leaving the place as my uber drivers were cancelling. As I said the road is in bad condition. Still, this shouldn't deter you from going.

Only for hikers worth the money and can witness all the 7 hills. Drop the car in entry fee gate and go for walk it takes about 5 hours to cover all and return.

It is located on the outskirts of ngong town. The entrance fee is 232 per person for citizens. You are allowed to carry snacks and drinks into the area if you are there to have a picnic. The hike is very enjoyable and the views are breathtaking. If you decide to hike all 7 hills there is a gate on the other side so you don't have to hike back for an exit. However the second exit is on the side of Kiserian. You can take a bike from there back to Kiserian town then take one back to town or go to Ngong town from there. The downside is that there are no directions especially past the 7th hill you can walk for a sometime feeling lost

Great place for hiking! This mountain has lots of sports activity however due to corona some of them suspended. From the main gate un to the place called Kompass restaurant it will take you two hours walking but you can still continue up to the other end of the mountain if you like. The scenery and landscape give you a pleasant feeling. This hill has wind mills, the noose of the fans make you scary, at some point you feel that it is about to fall on you 😀 but do not scare ! Better go with your picnic gears, water and food.

Great place for a mildly challenging hike with clean air and great views. Just make sure you have enough water, proper gear, and have sunscreen applied.

Ngong Hills forest (Ngong means knuckles in the Maasai language) covers an area of 3077 hectares with a spine of seven ranges covering 11.5km. It consists a 12-kilometer section from the Kenya Forest Services barrier to Corner Baridi. It is located 40km southwest of Nairobi city. As you walk towards the trails, you see the wind park with dozens of towering windmills. To hike with ease, you need warm clothing in cold climate as temperatures can drop to dangerous levels, and light shoes with good threads. You can also purchase a walking stick from the local vendors for as little as 50 shillings. Notable places in Ngong hills include Chief Olonanan Ole Batian gravesite (was an outstanding Maasai and leader, African chief and a prophet/visionary, during the second half of the 19th, and the first decade of the 20th centuries), the solitary grave of Denys Finch Hatton, marked by an obelisk and garden, located on the eastern slopes of the Ngong Hills, overlooking the Nairobi National Park and Ziplining at Kompass which charges Ksh 1,000 per head. Oher than a hotel, there are also snacks and jewellery and ornamentation vendors in random spots along the trails. To get to Ngong hills from Nairobi CBD you use Ngong road and branch at Ngong town junction near the matatu terminus and branch right after a few meters up road for about a kilometer. If using public means, from Nairobi CBD, Board a Ngong Matatu near railways. Once you alight at Ngong town, board a boda boda for only ksh. 100 - 150 and they will drop you at the KFS barricade where you pay. If from Rongai and environs, board any matatu going to Kiserian via Magadi road. From Kiserian, board a Ngong matatu where you will board a bodaboda to your destination. The entrance charges are ksh. 232 for adults and ksh. 58 for kids. Ngong Hills opening hours are from 8:00 am and closing at 5:00 pm.

Perfect hiking trails for beginner and expert hikers. It provides a scenery of the great rift valley.

Really nice scenery, cool weather and activities be careful with your belongings though. Things might have changed but there was a time (during COVID) that local boys hang out there for other businesses other than viewing of good scenery.

I’m going against the grain here. This mall/shopping center is massive and many people have recommended it. It has a lot to offer and I can see how this would be a good hangout for those with little kids. The various play areas, the bowling alley, VR and trampoline park makes it a great location for children. The restaurants are diverse and you can find pretty much anything you want. I gave this 3 stars because if you want to get lost…very lost, this is the perfect place for you! This place is a proper maize! There is no signage outside or inside. And finding a virtual map online is impossible. I can see how those accustomed to this chaos are fine with it’s a it is. But for new people, or visitors…this is not my first choice. There are plenty of other shopping centers that are much easier to navigate.

This stands to be my favorite mall ever since I was a kid(I really do miss the water slides). As an adult now I have come to love the feel of the mall it’s just enough for me to have meetings bring kids for a fun time and for date nights! A fave restaurant is The Local Grill!

Very nice mall with lots of restaurants and shops. Definitely a place to visit. Not because of history, but it’s an interesting place with areas kind of “outside”. Cityfeeling inside a mall. Definitely a place to visit for dinner or just coffee. Big Carrefour with all you need. Several atm’s. Easy access. Norwegian embassy is just around the corner. We enjoyed our afternoon at the Village Market, having dinner at Zeytoon, Lebanese restaurant.

My experiences at Village Market have always been pleasant, so much so that I always find a reason to go back. From the friendly people who frequent the mall, cleanliness, general respectful behavior from guards and mall staff, etc., is enough to keep anyone coming back. But, if this isn’t enough for you, be assured you’ll find your pick of shopping items at the mall. Great antique stores ,cultural home decor, assorted fashion items, beautiful jewelry. Exotic cuisine, cafes, and more. Despite being a gem, it’s never brim full during the weekdays (a better time to visit in my opinion)but it can look packed over the weekend. If you’re eating then, do get a reservation beforehand. Generally, it’s a space you’re least likely gonna leave displeased with your experience. I highly recommend

Nice mall with great variety of shops and restaurants. Clean and lot of safety measures. Free WiFi, helpful and friendly stuff. Can get very busy during the weekend and takes time to get away by car/uber. Also quite hectic to navigate through the mall when you are there for the first time.

Not a bad mall. Be better if it had a LC Waikiki though. The recent upgrades certainly make the pace look great. This shouldn’t be a bad point but it feels more of a mall for food than anything else. So many restaurants to choose from.

This is a very big shopping mall with a wide range of shops. One cannot miss whatever you are looking for. I got my visa photo at the Village Photo Shop within the mall. It's really convenient to get to. Just a quick one minute walk from the bus stop across Limuru Road.

VM. Popular since I was a child and still going strong. From supermarkets and hotels to Formula 1 driving simulators a hospital. All round a good place to visit and explore. Ample parking. Abundant restaurant choices.

It was lovely. It was a great bonding experience with my peers and getting one with nature🏞️. I enjoyed the cheerful sounds of joy from different families and groups of teen enjoying themselves or having birthday parties. One of my favorite places in Nairobi so far. Do you want just to chill, are you looking for a place to spend time with your loved one, or you just want to have quiet time and read a catching book without disturbance. This is your best place. Full of trees and amazing and you can even study them or go jogging. Have fun at this place… and when you reach there please come back and tell me what you thought of the place.

Such an amazing place to visit, it's such a quiet and soothing environment, the scent of some trees is just so wow, enough space for jogging,picnics,walks and reading and they also have a tree nursery where you can purchase tree seedlings.

A beautiful park, tucked away in the ever bustling Nairobi city. It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. There was a 65 shillings fee to be paid at the gate before entering the park. There are various fees listed on the booth, especially for those wanting to do photo shoots etc. The park was nice and cool, I was meeting someone here and I found where they were sitting with ease. There are a few benches scattered around, as well as ice cream carts to buy a treat. It would be an ideal place to hold a picnic or just go there to quietly enjoy a book. It feels rather safe and there are washrooms towards the entrance. I can’t wait to visit again

Beautifully manicured and also with a natural feel. Plenty of tracks, paved or dirt. Plenty of areas to sit on a bench, log, tree stump or on the grass, as a group or solo. Lots of shade. Happy vibes on the weekends. Toilets available. Most affordable park fees I have experienced at 65ksh.

The Aboratum nature walk in Nairobi is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature trail is located just a few minutes' drive from the city center and is perfect for nature lovers, bird watchers, and anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The walk spans over 5 kilometers and is nestled in a forested area that is home to a variety of flora and fauna. The path can be narrowed at times, requiring some maneuvering, but is generally well-maintained. The walk is easy to navigate, with tree signage indicating different trail routes, making it perfect for hikers of different skill sets. The Absoratum forest is a breathtaking sight to behold, with towering trees that create a canopy that filters the sunlight beautifully. The trail’s serene atmosphere and natural beauty make it a fantastic place to unwind and find inner peace. As a bird watcher, I was thrilled to spot several species of birds in the forest, including the African pied wagtail, African harrier hawk, and olive sunbird. The walk is not just a feast for the eyes but also the ears, with birdsongs filling the air, making for a truly immersive experience. Overall, the Aboratum nature walk is a must-visit when in Nairobi and a fantastic place to enjoy nature's beauty. The trail offers a delightful escape from the busy Nairobi city, with a serene environment to relax and unwind. So, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Nairobi.

I went for a solo walk and I never felt any safer. This park is easily accessible from Westlands via the kileleshwa road on foot, personal car or psv and also in town if you use the YMCA side. Although the entrance fee has increased to KES 110 it is still quite affordable. If you compare it with other park fees, this is probably the most affordable. You pay via mpesa as opposed to Ecitizen which is a relief honestly. This park is very well organised. There are arrows guiding you onto different paths with markings of the distance on each path. The paths range from very short, to medium walks. There are also some paths with a bit of steep climbing to really get a good workout. If you also want to just relax on the grass or chairs and read a book, this is also an option. Given there are plenty of people who use this park for prayers and can thus get loud, there are still plenty of quite spaces especially near the bamboo trees. There are a few monkeys as well. If you want to make a family day out of it, there is a kids play area with swings and slides. That particularly area is huge and can definitely accommodate more games such as badminton if you have the rackets, hula hooping... one can get creative. I think this park is ideal for walkers, joggers, book club meetings, group games like treasure hunts and such, dates because it isn't isolated, yoga in the park and such activities. I really enjoyed my walks here. It is also very clean. I definitely recommend the park. There is a plant nursery not sure if one can buy plants or not. Would be a wonderful way to contribute to the park for upkeep and all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Nairobi Arboretum is a serene environment with beautiful naturally green trees and with running or walking tracks. Also it has got relaxation seats with a 360 view of the forest trees. Real enjoyable place.

Very nice place for walking and relaxing . But the guard wont let you to take plastic bottle of water into park. Also they give money for camera and I think it's not necessary to take camera. I haven't seen any monkey

Very cool place to chill, jog or run. You can take your family for a picnic, kids can run around and play. Ball games and cycling is however not allowed. For citizens over 11 years old, the entrance fee is KES 65 only which is paid via M-Pesa. Cash is not accepted. There are long trails, and pavements. You don't have to wear hiking boots as long you stick to the pavements. However if you want to go through the woods I would suggest bringing some good boots. You can also get ice cream in here for KES 50 only. If you don't want that, you can also bring your own food.

Ok, but I expected something more than casual park. To be honest, there's no difference between European parks and it's even worse, no water, almost no animals. Buying ticket experience is terrible and slow 🤷

Great place ,first time there, and it's nice..... if you are looking for a quiet place ,that's the right place for you sometimes there may be a lot of people, quiet ,clean, no dirt, no plastics are allowed....

I want to start with why I gave it 3 stars. The reason behind it is because they ask a huge price difference between locals and tourists. They also require you to throw away all the plastic bottles that you have with you. Even though you have other plastic stuff with you, they only care about bottles. The park has some wild animals. But the main point of it would say is the picnic area. Of course, there are some really nice pathways that you can go and roam around, but not actually get lost.

Very relaxing green environment for walks,picnic, jogging and events, always carry your reusable water bottle,plastic bottles not allowed, entry fee is around 150-200 There are monkeys but didn’t get a picture of them.

I will give this place a five ⭐ because it is the best for outdoor activities with family, friends and relatives. The environment is clean 🫧 and the place is also suitable for solo nature trails.

I had such a wonderful experience. The Arboretum is perfect for a nice walk or workout at anytime of the day. Cost varies per foreigner or citizen but it is affordable. They don't let you come in with plastic containers so bring a personal water bottle for liquids if you need to bring one or feel free to buy from the local vendors in the area.

This is a great place to reconnect back with nature, hold events or just sleep under the shade. As for outdoor worship and praise...it's the best.

Awesome place to go and check out all the engines. The exhibition itself and information on the history is very basic and limited, but some interesting photos and documents. Once you get outside though, they let you climb around on all the engines and have free rein to explore so it's great fun and really worth a quick visit for an hour or two.

The Kenya Railway Museum is an awesome and very informative place to visit, and at only 200/-... Affordable. It has a history bit where train models as well as furniture and accessories used during the colonial era are placed. There is also a guide on hand to offer information. The train "relics" that are outside are marvels to say the least, and massive. There is also an art shop where one can purchase or request for customized art pieces. Make a point of visiting it, and marvel at Kenya's rail history.

First time visiting this museum. I entered through the TUK side and the walk to the museum was a really nice one. There are nicely lined trees and a well maintained walk way with graffiti walls. I was informed that the work was done by the artists that used to be in the small independent art workshop in the museum. They are not related though. I do not know anything about trains nor am I particularly interested in them but I still wanted to visit. Payments are made through e-citizen. There are three rooms with various models of trains, ships, old technology and the history of the railway. I thought it strange that both the current SGR and the old railway both faced interesting obstacles. One was man eating lions and the other was strange weather phenomenon( rumours... But very ear catching rumours either way🤔). There was also a very old calculating device that looked like a lot of work and I would be quite interested to know how it works. Some of the things on display were quite interesting and I had a few ohhh... moments. The last place is outside where the trains are. Unless you have a guide or have a very keen interest in trains, you will just be looking at old trains. I felt that more could be done here. Some trains are quite worn out on the inside as well. Since I don't know anything about trains nor am I particularly interested in trains, I cannot say much about this section. There is an art gallery as you enter the train section. They display art by various artists and they do have a sip and paint. If art is your thing, you can check them out.

What an amazing place if you are a railway aficionado! Extremely well maintained. The locomotives and heritage coaches take you to a totally different world. Alas their gift shop did not have anything worthwhile except from Tshirts and caps. Full marks to Kenyan Railways for ensuring that this place continues to be well maintained and tourist friendly.

Entry is 200bob for an adult Kenyan Resident. It's easier to access it through shell petrol station, however you can access the place through technical university of Kenya, quite a nice walk (in my opinion).

The Kenya Railways Museum is where art meets history. There's a lot to see and to learn as you go about your tour. The ambience is historic, clean and great to walk in the footsteps of those who came before us. It's a great place for a solo date and spending time with Kenyan history. There's great set options for railway themed photoshoots. You've got to love it.

This museum is tucked away behind Rubis petrol station off Uhuru Highway & Haile Selassie Avenue. It's reasonably priced and has a lot of unknown historical knowledge about the creation of the East African railway. We had a very knowledgeable & friendly guide called Michael who explained how the railway idea began all the way through to the present time. There were plenty of pictures, articles, models, old & new artefacts to see & any questions regarding the process & progress of the creation of the railway were answered. The actual locomotives & carriages once used in service & even movies are on display in the yard. There is also an art gallery on site.

Nice place to visit for an afternoon you are within the capital of Nairobi. The museum has rich exhibits from east Africa's rail history since the early nineteen hundreds. Outside are various locomotive engines and some passenger wagons that were used then. They are well kept and maintained for future generations to View. I highly recommend this visit very interesting and amazing. You will learn more about the Kenya railway. Very interesting and would highly recommend!!

Another testimony to the incompetence of Kenya’s museum system. The once impressive main attractions are rotting away without any care given to them and the staff is unable to explain even the basic function of a steam train. Inside the exhibit the newer parts remain partly built, as basic tools are missing as we were explained. The children’s railway, which could be great fun for little visitors, has not seen any maintenance in years, is overgrown and completely inoperable. Even the cheap entry is not worth it, especially as the museum staff seems to not care at all about anything here.

A nice place to pass your afternoon and learn a thing or two about trains and their evolution.

Good to say you've been there at least once but there's not much to do.. During the day the weather is nice but it gets very windy and cold in the late evening into nightfall so carry warm clothing! If going for an individual tour, it could be nice but if you are going for an event.. you need to be well prepared! In the rainy season, you're better off going in gumboots because the mud will ruin your shoes. On the other side of the tracks there are mini boulders so you need to wear comfy closed shoes to avoid any injuries cause the ground is heavily uneven! For bigger events you need to be prepared especially ladies. There's barely any tissue so carry your own. Toilet paper is controlled by a man that yells at you for taking more than 2 squares of the toilet paper. If you want more, he will demand you "buy him a soda" for his generosity. There was barely any running water in both washrooms so carry enough wet wipes and sanitizer.

The security is tight up in this centre. It’s located is a very busy fast pace area. Drivers be wilding out, it’s like they don’t see pedestrians. The centre was very clean and plenty to purchase from. The only hiccup I ran across was the machines to pay weren’t working. Which was a big inconvenience since Im not from the country.

It’s nice for a very small mall. Most prices are quite high though and selection is limited. But if you are in a crunch and need to get it nearby and fast this is the place to go to. It has several restaurants too if you need a quick meal. We ate at ArtCafe once. See my other review. The place has a small parking garage. Which is convenient. And security guards are friendly.

Ok the place is expensive but really nice the product and shops are well arranged 😂 personally id recommend gikomba but the place is aesthetic which most people like so yeah if you are a spend thrift go to yaya center😂✌️

One of the older malls in Nairobi. Convenient location and good assortment of stores. Parking is easy but a bit tight for larger vehicles. My Land Cruiser could not fit well.in standard parking spot. Escalators seem to always be out of commission. Management can do better here. Finding shops can be a bit difficult due to layout. The age of the mall is showing a bit. However a great.place to meet and have business meetings. Location location location!!!

It was one of the most high-end shopping experiences I've ever had in Nairobi! The shops and services available make it a litteral one-stop shopping destination. There is even a kids' play area on the top floor of the parking garage accessible by the covered bridge spanning from the food court. Got my wife an amazing Puma purse that I could never get in the States from Deichmann's. Also, all the food court restaurants had servers to make it a dine in experience. My host had never had Indian cuisine, so we ate from Cinnamon's menu and had the butter chicken and the curry fish. Awesome food, friendly service as she answered all my friends' questions (in his native tongue lol) and great prices! 👌🏾

Honestly in my own opinion this is the most equipped shopping mall in Nairobi. Has 99.9% of everything you are looking in Nairobi if you get lost there's a help desk u can always go back there and ask for assistance or shop direction which is rilly helpful. Am a mall person so I spent like more than 7hrs this shows how much there is to do in the mall. I can explain everything here all I can say this is the most versatile mall in Nairobi trust you me, is not pricy as u would think being in the high end areas truth be told java is the same , artcafee, healthy yu, Nairobi sport House, chandarana food store, miniso, bata, goodlife chemist,vivo , swarovsky jewellers, maasai market with all African attires etc Banks are also available branches n atms Mall not busy but all equipt for all round shopping honest this is the most versatile mall around and prices are the same considering the area is located at this gonna be my go to mall 👌🇰🇪

Yaya is expensive to be at as they expect you to pay 50 for parking even if it was for a minute or two and on top of that there was water in the basement parking. The mall doesn't have many options to choose from and is quite small. So don't ever come here unless you have to go animet for school clothes.

A decent collection of snakes, some lizard's, and tortases. An older building that shows it's age. Worth a visit if you're at the national museum.

I did not have very high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised. Purchased a joint ticket with the museum on E-citizen. It is not a very big park, but this allows you to read about each snake in the park. They also have a small aquarium, and a few other reptiles. The guys at the park were super friendly and I got to hold two different snakes, a tortoise, a crocodile plus a little baby one as well as chameleons. First time being peed on by a snake so will definitely remember this visit. You can also get a guide and they are very knowledgeable and eager to share. The location is great since there are so many other things to do as well. It is not ideal for animals to be caged up and I did feel really sad for them. It was shocking to learn how solitary most of these species are. Overally, an afternoon well spent.

It's okay. Not too many snakes but there's enough. Both poisonous and constrictors. There's also turtles around and crocodiles There's also an aquarium. You can also hold a snake, probably a Python without paying extra. Good place to chill if you like snakes.

The first time we came to the snake park we weren't impressed, it seemed a little boring. However, we thought we'd try again and this time we got a guide to show us round. The experience was so much better, as he was very knowledgeable and explained all about the snakes and animals. The highlight was my son getting to hold a snake! Would definitely recommend getting a guide if you visit.

The place was great. I had a young gentleman who was giving some great facts about the snakes voluntarily. Although we went off to do our tour individually... The fishes in the Aquarium have the information covered. I was not sure why.. Overall, great visit, learning place too...

Nice little park, it’s better to buy the ticket with the museum ticket, (KSH 1500 for both). There are many snakes in the building, all of them in containers so it’s a bit sad, most of the reptiles aren’t moving which is understandable. Lots of vipers and mambas, they have a black mamba as well. There are some alligators and a lot of turtles. The fish section is fine with some eels and exotic fish. The entire visit took 20 mins.

Perfect place to visit in kenya , i paid a visit with my cousin and the experience was awesome. Calm and welcoming customers service . It's a zone of reptiles where by snakes 🐍 are majority, also aquatic weren't left behind. Looking forward to pay a visit with the family once again.

The Snake Park at the National Museum of Kenya in Nairobi was a nice addition to the museum. It was right in the premise. It gave some detailed accounts of various kinds of poisonous snakes that live in Kenya and Africa. The volunteer guide again was very helpful and made the visit very interesting. We tipped him at the end of our visit.

Wonderful learning experience for me. I held two snakes!!! THAT WAS LITERALLY THE MOST EXCITING PART. A SNAKE !!!You guys !!! Go visit though they have a marine aquarium , saw a star fish, they also have a 'fresh water' aquarium, various types of snakes and crocodiles, tortoise and what seemed like a fresh water turtle whose named I don't remember.

Fantastic place. It’s not just about snakes

If you are visiting Snake Park, it is in the Nairobi National Museum. You have to log in to ecitizen to make payment, which takes a while. However, you can pay in advance if you are working on a planned schedule. I recommend the combined ticket which costs Ksh 300 per person and you get to tour the gallery and the Snake park which on their own costs Ksh 200 each. You will get to see tortoise, turtle, and crocodile as well. There are two restraunts in the museum for you to eat from. You get to access a lot of information in the gallery on Kenyan history, animals, culture, economy as well as human history with different artefacts on display. You can also purchase art from the art gallery.

It's such an amazing place to be.... NYC environment easily accessible and there's enough parking n security.... This is where wild,nature n Humans get to Bond👍u get to see the Big 5 n also other wild animals... different types of Birds I mean it's a great place to visit... Entrance Charges are very minimal

Interesting little park with different animals from Kenya. There is a lot of information about flora and fauna and the best thing for the children is a free-roaming young giraffe which can be fed and petted.

This visit is a must. Wonderful to understand why they are there and what they do. The Animals looked very well taken care of. My heart Was stolen by the lit rhyno, those bloody hyenas and his tail :( . Thank you for educating us.

Wow what a wonderful place. Seeing so many wild creatures just hanging out and doing their thing.... peaceful wild and beautiful. Love the contrast of the park and the city scape off in the distance. How many cities can boast to having a national park in their boundary

Amazing. There were 21 orphaned elephants when I went, and 2 black rhinos. We arrived early, so we did have to wait (maybe 15 min? 10 min early + 5 to open gate). You absolutely need to get confirmation of booking beforehand. Highly recommend after an early morning Safari. The team at the orphanage were very knowledgeable and gave very good information about the animals.

Good area to learn about nature and wildlife, the safari walk is a must do, much better than the orphanage, if you must choose one. But both are good.

One thing I love about Nairobi national park is the roads, you don't need a 4 wheel drive to drive on them, even a small two wheel vehicle will do. Those who will read this, this is what I do, you can always contact me when in Kenya or Nairobi for a ride or a tour drive.
