A bridge unlike any other in the world. It's a landmark that must be visited when traveling to Curaçao, even if you just walk across it. It's a very well maintained bridge that is still in use today. Instead of a draw bridge, it turns sideways.

It’s a nice place surrounded with bars and restaurants. It’s worth going both, day and night as the sight it’s totally different. If you have plenty of time, you can wait until it opens to let a ship cross it.

Old but picturesque. Is a must visit in Curaçao. Perfect spot for the colourful houses and sunset pictures. Is a bit shaky. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. The bridge itself is nothing special but is the views what matter here

Really liked the experience, we also learned on the spot that the bridge moves every so often to allow boats to pass. It was a bit scary just seeing the bridge move. I think they should put a sign especially it being a tourist area, for persons just updating us that the bridge opens ever so often to eliminate that panic moment. Really beautiful city though

Short walk across this wood deck, floating bridge. Have fun figuring out how it swings away. Genius. You have less than 30 seconds from when the bell rings to the gates closing and being stuck on the bridge. When the bridge is swung open, a free ferry takes people across.

Wonderful bridge, especially at night with the lights. Was able to see how it opens like a door to allow shipping to pass through the harbour. When open, there's a ferry to take people back and forth.

The Queen Emma Bridge is a pontoon bridge across St. Anna Bay in Curaçao. It connects the Punda and Otrobanda quarters of the capital city, Willemstad. The bridge is hinged and opens regularly to enable the passage of oceangoing vessels. On the opposite end from the hinge is a small shelter where an operator controls two diesel engines turning propellers. The propellers are mounted perpendicular to the length of the bridge and allow it to swing parallel to the shore. The process only takes a few minutes to complete.

Easy Stroll across. Not very rocky as some floating bridges can be. The night lights gives this bridge a much more unique look. Very impressive if you happen to be around when the bridge opens to allow ships in and out.

Pontoon bridge aka floating bridge, uses floats or shallow-draft boats to support deck for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Curious thing about Queen Emma Bridge that it opens to allow water traffic! It looks beautiful not only in daylight but in night as well. Must visit place if you happen to around downtown area, try to schedule your visit during bridge opening time to enjoy more.

I feel lucky to have been able to get to see the bridge open and the entire process. I’ve been to Curaçao before on a cruise. It’s quite fascinating, the mechanics of it all.

Very popular and well known site. It’s a floating bridge, so it moves while walking on it. When boats and ships have to pass, the bridge moves using diesel engine. A fun experience if you are on the bridge while that happens. Lots of street vendors sit near the bridge. Lot more cheaper to buy souvenirs from them. In the downtown side of the bridge, there’s the famous heart lock art statue. If you want to put a lock on it, before sure to take one from home, very hard to buy one nearby.

Beautiful experience and lots to see in the area. The bridge really does move back and forth. The lights make it an exciting experience. The heart of locks was cool to see. If you go bring a lock to attach to the hearts.

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE... When i crossed this bridge the first time, i noticed nothing unusual about it, in fact, it was adorned with KLM airlines flags across the entire space, had huge arches, and certainly did not appear MOBILE at all... but presto, after i crossed the bridge and went shopping, i came back to NO BRIDGE... i thought i'd lost my mind; i was certain i had crossed RIGHT THERE... but in fact, the bridge completely moves like a windshield wiper across a car window, and clicks in place when its ready to be crossed... LOUD bells ring consistently for at least a few minutes, as nearby humans wait with anticipation to jump on the rejoined bridge, and walk back across... quite a constructed marvel...

Arguably one of the most beautiful attractions I have ever seen. The architecture is one compared to none. The colors, the vibrancy, the design is definitely a sight to behold. Getting to cross the bridge is also a fun experience. Definitely a must see whenever in Curacao

I find it fascinating to observe the bridge in motion and enjoy walking on it—it's quite enjoyable. The Christmas decorations illuminate beautifully in the night. The bridge is well-maintained, and it's possible to stay on it during swings. Constructed with wood and steel, it also offers a complimentary ferry option when not in operation.

It's the most amazing bridge ever 😀 it's a floating bridge that moves when it needs to pass ships or smaller boats into the channel. If you're lucky, maybe you will get the opportunity to see it moving while you are on the top like we did. If it happens, you have to wait for it to open and fully close before moving out, but it is a unique opportunity to see this revolutionary technology.

This is a very special bridge that opens partially, so boats can enter and exit the harbor while people walk across it. It is powered by a shaft engine that is pretty loud when it starts up.... A bell starts ringing to let you know that the bridge is opening... THE DIFFERENCE Here IS IF YOU ARE ON THE BRIDGE WHEN IT IS OPENING.... YOU ARE ON IT FOR THE RIDE AS THE BRIDGE SWINGS OPEN AND CLOSED. The entire process only taking a few minutes of your time. Don't worry it's FREE lol Only a few government cars/ trucks went over this bridge ... It's really a foot bridge.

Funny bridge - sometimes it can swing from side to side on waves and it is fun to run on the bridge when it starts opening. Several times I was running through it when I was late for the bus :) When the bridge is open you can use free ferry that is located just next to the bridge

This is a fun free attraction in Curacao. It is about 20 minutes from start to finish if you decide to stay on the bridge while it swings open. Very cool.

A little slice of heaven here. After a long day of exploring, this was our last stop. We truly loved ending our day here. It's such a little perfect spot for swimming and reflecting. 💙💙💙💙 *No restroom facility

Wonderful little beach, very scenic, and well protected from wind and waves. If you come early enough, you'll have it all for yourself. There is a little food stand on the right side of the beach, the ladies who run it cook quite well, they are cheerful and friendly, and they even bring food and drinks to your lounger. It is a much better alternative to an overcrowded Grand Knip, there is no cruise ship crowd, and the cars are nearby, so there is less chance they will be broken in.

Very cozy little beach where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. We fist went to the Grote Knip nearby where the water is even more stunning but it was very crowded, so we decided to go to the Kleine Knip instead which is more secluded and less packed. The sand is quite nice and you can do a lot of snorkeling around the cliffs to see fish and turtles. Our highlight where the two pigs at the beach!

Gorgeous beach! 2 chairs and an umbrella for $15 for the day. The snorkeling is decent (I have high snorkel expectations though). Healthy coral and some fish -- not as many fish as I would have thought. You can snorkel down both sides of the cliffs. The left side had slightly more coral. Visibility was good on both sides. This was probably our favorite beach visit on Curacao. Truly beautiful.

Very beautiful, you can either lay down with your towel or rent a bed and umbrella. There are picknick tables and you can bring your own food and drink and barbecue. There are no facilities and no bathrooms

The most beautiful beach on the island and some great snorkeling to be done here -- the best by far! There are no amenities at all here except for umbrella and lounge chair rental. The combo rental (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) will be 25 ANG but you can use your voucher at the nearby Grote Knip beach with gas more amenities but has less charms. You're really missing out if you don't visit this beach while you are on the island. It was also pretty empty when we were there around midday.

One of the best beaches we visited during our trip. Not very big and it was very busy at all. We splurged and rented the beach chairs and umbrella (25 naf). The chairs are well spaced out, so you are bumping shoulders with your beach neighbors. After visiting 10 other beaches in the area, this beach had the best snorkeling along the right side of the bay, with lots of love coral. Very Sandy bottom, with lots of fish to see. Highly recommend!

One of the most private, intimate, and stunning beaches in the Caribbean. Simply magnificent.

My favourite beach on the island. A little cove with turquoise calm water. Nice areas to do some snorkeling with plenty of fishes. Picnic tables, sun umbrellas and beach chairs along the beach. A women is serving some fresh drinks and beers. She also can do some French fries. Just love it!

Beautiful white sand beach in Westpunt area of Curaçao with typical clear aqua marine crystal clear water. Great for snorkelling 🤿 on the right side of the cliffs. You will see more coral and fish than the other west side beaches. No entrance fee; can rent loungers and umbrella but also can bring your own or use towel. Quieter and less crowded than Grote Knip. If you do rent chairs you can also use ticket at Grote Knip for chairs. Grote Knip is a 2 min drive on connecting road.

Excellent beach to swim and snorkle!!

Very nice place to swim or snorkel with one or two of the 17 dolphins. It’s quite touristic, photos cost 40 USD extra but are of good quality. Just the sharks have much too little space

What an amazing experience, always wished to swim with dauphins. The Dolphin Academy in Curaco was an exceptional facility to make it happen. If you are visiting you’ve wanted to do this don’t let the chance slip by. You won’t regret it, our experience was a little extra special as we were the only two in our group as we got to spend the entire half hour alone with Roxy and Anne. Was very interesting to learn that the dolphins get to return to the sea occasionally but they always come back with the team.

Our family of 8 started our day at the aquarium-including our newest grandbaby. The entire staff was fun, professional and helpful. The dolphins were amazing. Highly recommend. With 4 Families - we bought the digital package, so everyone could do what they wanted with the very fun photos. 5Stars

Such an incredibly majestic experience! I am pleased to know that raising dolphins in captivity is no longer allowed and that these 2 we experienced our dive with, Caiyo and Pasku (2 teenage dolphin males) are the last. However, as a childhood dream of mine to come true I don't think I could have had a better experience. It appeared obvious they loved their trainer, George and he made sure they spent time with each of the 4 of us on the dive. We got face to face with them and petted them. Watching them flip, turn, and gracefully swim among us was beyond words. They do love the camera, so stay close to someone with one to get more attention. We got a video of our dive for $80 which is totally worth it (very well done by the photographer and all pics provided are from him) and recommended it so you can truly enjoy the time with them. We were down there for about 25 minutes. I also have to give a shout out to George, our dive leader (the other George, not the dolphin trainer, although he was fantastic). He is so thorough and helpful making sure we knew what to do and most importantly, emphasized the main importance of NOT kicking the reef. This was difficult at times given we're hanging out right in the middle of it trying to pet them, but making a point to control your buoyancy is crucial (as well as not stir up the sand for visibility). I really hope this message continues to be emphasized with EVERY dive as I'm not seeing most dive leaders stress this importance of protecting the reef, nor mentioning it to divers after they've battered the reef with their fins, sticks, and crawling all over it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember this as a diver and dive leaders, etc., drive home this message. By not doing so it's a lost opportunity to educate and remind people of the importance of the reef for marine ecology AND our own survival. It is a privilege to be able to dive and experience the world below. Don't ruin it, please :)

Dolphin Academy deserves more than 5 stars. The staff were fun, informative, and very obviously care for the dolphins. They love their job. The Dolphin snorkel was a magical time. It felt natural like the dolphins at least wanted to participate. I was very pleased they weren’t towing us around the lagoon we were swimming with them and interacting with them. Tela, about 26, was my favorite and she seemed to like me. Thanks to Junior, the trainer. I could spend days there. Can’t wait to come back and do the scuba dolphin adventure next. 💙❤️🐬🇨🇼

This was the most incredible experience . My 10 and 12 yo daughters absolutely loved it. The trainers don’t rush you but guide the time in the most fun way. Our dolphins were Annie and Roxette! Highly recommend !!!!!!

I have never been to Sea World as I was not sure if the dolphins there live an acceptable life. Therefore, it was also not easily decided to visit the Dolphin Academy. It made a change for me to hear that the dolphins in Curaçao regularly swim in the open sea. So I allowed myself the dream of touching dolphins during a swim myself. It is not a cheap experience and you are not allowed to take your own pictures during that swim, but for me it was a dream that became true. I think this place is one of the best options to enjoy this experience outside the wilderness. I hope the team will continuously take care that the animals receive the best possible treatment and as close to nature as possible. Bucket list item accomplished! We loved every minute of swimming with the dolphins and our instructor, Noel was amazing! We also enjoyed the exhibits and shows at the aquarium!

Wow, we had such an amazing experience! We did the dolphin encounter at the end of January 2024, and it was incredible. I've done a full dolphin swim somewhere else that wasn't as much fun because it was a big group and we only got a little time with the dolphins. But here, we were on a platform with just four people, on dolphin, and one trainer for a good 20 minutes. We got to pet the dolphin all over, get a kiss and a handshake, and be thoroughly splashed! Giving a dolphin a bellyrub is a fantastic experience. Big kudos to the park and the staff for a well-run experience.

We had a dolphin snorkel. You must know how to swim, life jacket wasn’t allowed. We were explained what to expect and what to do/not to do. Then we were allowed into the water. First we had a dolphin kiss, holding hands, then we were snorkelling around the area with a dolphin next to us, and “petting” it on the side. It was making noises all the time, really cool to hear. Had some jump presentation which we were able to watch under and above the water. I had a GoPro and took a few cool pics and videos, but they also take your photos from above the water and I highly recommend to get them, great quality. For one it was $40USD, for 2 just a few bucks more and for each additional person in your group few bucks more, etc.

I did the snorkel dolphin swim and it was fantastic! I pretty much had my own dolphin for 30 mins (it felt longer!). The employees were all nice!

This was an absolute dream come true. It was a birthday gift from my mom for my 18th birthday. I took the 8:30 slot and I would recommend that time since it was not very crowded. It was myself and a couple with two dolphins. I mostly had one dolphin all to myself which was really cool. My two instructors while I wish I had their names were an absolute joy to work with. I cannot stress how friendly, kind and just absolutely amazing their staff was to me. I was afraid of not being able to hold up in the water even though I am an experienced swimmer so the instructor advised me to go in the water and test it out and they would keep the life vest at hand, just incase I wanna you it, by which I did. The dolphins were soo gentle and sweet and the experience with them was unlike anything and one I recommended everyone to do. I did the dolphin swim and don’t regret it one bit. Afterwards I purchased all my photos for $40 and a frame for $5. Overall, it is an experience of a lifetime and one I would cherish for the future days to come. I would love to do it again and once again all props go to Dolphin Academy Curaçao for such an amazing experience. Before I go, one final tip would be to book online and fill out the waiver form online, it’s quicker and faster when you do that so you go straight into the briefing and dolphin swim.

I had an wonderful experience at The Dolphin Academy! I booked a dolphin swim experience to celebrate my birthday and entire process of getting checked in was quick and easy. Pretty much everyone speaks Dutch, but all the staff I interacted with were very kind and spoke English as well and made sure I was informed and accommodated. I can swim, but I felt more comfortable with a life jacket, which was provided at my request. The dolphin handlers were knowledgeable and the dolphins are gentle, intelligent, and seem to be very well loved and taken care of! Cell phones aren’t allowed in the water, but there was a photographer who captured the experience and I was able to purchase all of my photos for $40 USD. We had plenty of time to swim and interact with the dolphins, and afterwards showers are available to you. With the purchase of the experience you have all day access to the aquarium, which was nice because they have several shows and demonstrations throughout the day. All in all, I had an incredible time and I can’t recommend the Dolphin Academy enough!

The dolphin encounter was perfect for my two children. They loved it. It was $114 per person. It was a little expensive but we do one activity per trip and this was such an amazing experience for them. The reason I gave it 4* is because the location for the encounter is such that we cannot take photos and so are forced to purchase photos from them, which is fine, but they’re quite expensive so it’s not possible to realistically buy all. The digital package is all or nothing. You can’t buy just the few pictures that you like. The experience itself was a little pricey but made some beautiful memories.

We booked online in advance the snorkel experience highly recommended as this is a popular activity. The check in and instructions went smooth and super clear. The snorkel dolphin experience was amazing, we have learned a lot by interacting with the dolphins and we had fun. The trainers treat the dolphins with respect and you can see they are enjoying the activity as well. We bought all the photos from the activity and definitely worth it.

Interesting sights to see. After paying an entrance fee (cash and credit card accepted) you are given a map indicating places of interest that are reachable by car and or foot trails. Car trails are not paved but dirt roads. SUVs are not necessary but may only slightly make the ride more comfortable than a sedan. This is a popular attraction and it's best to do early in the morning when the park opens to avoid the heat. Comfortable sneakers are advisable for this adventure.

What an amazing park. Seeing waves crashing into cliffs is sight to behold. They didn’t have credit card machine working and wanted extra dollar for the map (big negative for me). Luckily you don’t need the map. Definitely worth a visit when you come to this island.

The westpoint of Curaçao island, is a dry, rocky, volcanic reserve. Sort of pretty, but not too spectacular. Be sure to visit when there is a firm wind, your visit will be more spectacular...

Amazing views, the force of the water is incredible. Driving is a bit bumpy but wasn't a problem even for me as rather inexperienced driver with a small car. I'd recommend good shoes.

Excellent park experience here. The cave was the coolest part. The underground deck is right at sea-level. The trails are well maintained as are the platforms. $17.50 Nafl plus $1 for the map. It's for a good cause.

When you're in Curaçao this is a must visit, the park has several nice area's you can visit after paying an entrance fee. All viewpoints are amazing and my personal favorit is Boka Pistol. It's possible to hike through the park but you have to be in good condition as it's a rough and long hike. Alternatively you can go to each viewpoint by car but this is also a very rough ride and you need a good sized car or Jeep to drive on these "roads" spectecular views await you.

Amazing views on the Atlantic Ocean. Bring water, when walking the trail, there is no shade and will be very hot mid day. Best to visit in the morning or afternoon.

Shete Boka National Park on the desolate coral coast of northeastern Curaçao is popular among motorized daytripping tourists. A short trail leads to Boka Tabla with an inlet and small cave. A ravine breaks through the coastal coral cliffs which are battered by Caribbean waves.

So cool Make sure to see the mermaid cave and of course the pistol. The walk through the valley to get to the natural bridge is extremely hot and the steps are not that easy

Beautiful scenery. Easy to walk paths. Extremely hot as there is NO shade. Take water and wear a hat, seriously. Highly recommend.

Fascinating to watch the powerful waves especially at Boka Pistol. The cave was also a highlight - mesmerising to watch and listen the waves inside the cave. Go early if you want to hike the trails as it gets very hot by noon. You can also drive to each boka, plus a short walk to see the natural bridge.

Beautiful outlandish landscape with a couple of cool boka's that thrust the seawater in the ocean. You can drive the park with your car or like us you can walk around. Its impressive to see the water smash into the coast on this side of the island. You can pay the entrance fee with a credit card.

Gorgeous views of the cliffs and rough sea! It is mesmerising! You pay entry (17.50 naf), and there are parking spots throughout the park, so you don't need to walk too much. Don't expect anything else. There are no cafes.

Beautiful and rugged national park on the quiet side of Curacao. Enjoy the wind, waves, coves, and nature of this lovely park. You can drive around to the various parking lots, or you can hike the trails.

A little bit of a drive, so more than a taxi ride. Well worth the visit. Be prepared with solid, closed toe shoes as the terrain is rough. Several very nice, short hikes to see some great views. The surf exploding out ot the 'key', a cave that you can go in and experience the waves, and a nice hike to a natural bridge.

Exploring this natural park was a delight, with the highlight being the awe-inspiring Boka Pistol. Among all the attractions, this one stands out as the most spectacular. The waves relentlessly crash against the rocky shore, creating magnificent splashes, providing an ideal setting for capturing photos and recording the raw natural beauty. However, beyond the breathtaking Boka Pistol, the other amenities were less impressive. It's essential to wear sturdy shoes for hiking, as the ground is composed of hard, painful dead corals – definitely not flip-flop friendly terrain. Besides observing the powerful sea meeting the rocks, there are no additional attractions to engage with. Nonetheless, the sheer grandeur of Boka Pistol makes the visit worthwhile for nature enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts alike.

Amazing place however the narrow dirt roads are hard to navigate amongst thorny bushes. We unfortunately didn't complete it in a rented car because we were afraid of getting the car scratched all over. Beautiful scenery with waves crashing on to the rocks. Missed the turtle grounds 🥲

Amazing national park along the Atlantic northern shore of Curacao. Very reasonable entrance fee with lots to explore. Pistol Boka is the highlight with a large geyser effect when the waves come in. But there is also a cave to experience as well as goats and other wildlife along with a view of the only mountain in Curacao

Awesome spot showing the rugged north coast and the power of the sea. Bring lots of water as there is no shade anywhere and it gets very hot. We chose to walk the trail rather than drive. No problem as long as you're prepared.

I would give it 5 stars if they had more friendly employees and better sinage. One employee was very rude and agressive towards my husband about using the restroom. There are no signs as where to park and if you park in the wrong area you get yelled at. The main entrance parking has very little parking for cars and you risk getting run over by tour busses in that parking area. They need to have better sinage for parking and let people know they can drive to other areas of the park where there is ample parking. The cost is a bit high, $15 per person US. The restrooms were free though so maybe that's why the higher price? There is no place to buy water/cold drinks so make sure you bring plenty. Not a lot of shade either so plan accordingly. The landscape and blow holes were beautiful and we did enjoy exploring the park.

We enjoyed our safe downtown shopping trip to the Fort. Lunch, dinner or snacks available. Nice photo opportunities if you walk up any of the available original stone steps. Miscellaneous souvenir shops are also located in the Fort.

A very mixed bucket. A grab and go with nothing but drinks to grab, a outdoor bar where the barkeep seemed a little buzzed and took a sip of a drink before bringing it to the table and needing 20 minutes to address us though there was oy one other table with people. I will not name the place as I will go back and give them a second chance to see if that was a extreme outlier as the server seemed to have a relationship with that other group and they seemed to have fun. Steak and ribs upstairs is a mixed bucket by itself. First time I was there was outstanding, second time was unfortunately only ok. All in all it is the cruise landing strip and I lower my expectations for these kind of places. But you can have some great views

The aesthetic was so unique- an outdoor mall inside an old fort. There were several excellent food options including a pancake cafe, an ice cream shoppe and a finer dining establishment. There were stores with high end jewelry, handcrafted jewelry, clothing, and gorgeous Delftware, among other things. It's definitely worth a visit.

Loved the local shops and atmosphere of the village. Enjoyed the day and people.

Amazing shopping experience. The fort is an amazing piece of history. You can visit the top of the fort as there are stairs. The whole visit lasts 10 minutes or so, but it is worth it as you can see the ocean and the ships docked. In the ground level there are many amazing stores. The Renaissance hotel is right there. This is an upscale area and one of the top shopping areas in the island.

Very nice "mall" in the historical fort, but most of the restaurants are overpriced. Don't spend your money here. Climb up the stairs and enjoy the view of the iconic Handelskaade.

If you had told me about this, I would have scoffed. A 19th-century fort turned into a modern entertainment complex?! Won't work. Terrible idea. Historical preservation travesty. But it does work, and it is a brilliant (and well-executed) idea, and it is the epitome of not just preserving but showcasing a historical treasure. This is the first and last place that you will visit from the Willemstad cruise terminal, and it is well worth exploration on both ends of your adventure in Curaçao!

Fantastic area for all things to do; dining, shopping, sightseeing, relaxing, photos and lodging at the Renaissance Hotel and Casino. Conveniently located to the Queens Bridge, Punda, Otrobanda and the Cruise Ports.

Great place to check out. This is a fun historical site put to good use. There’s a handful of shops and different restaurants all around the inside of the area. Depending on the day, sometimes there is live music in the center. We enjoyed coffee and sausage pastries from Douwe Egberts Cafe and dined at the pancake sensation a few times. There is a lot of beautiful artwork around the fort, which makes for great photos. Nice seating areas with shade are perfect to get out of the sun.

Repurpose an ancient fort and make it a tourist hot spot was smart thinking! Great selection of restaurants and shops here. Nice pic areas to grab that selfie or take vacation snaps. Don's ice cream shop is a definite must do here, too. Try the Pub Crawl ice cream....it is out of this world yummy.

It is a great place to chill, eat, shop, and have an amazing time. You can appreciate the artistic nature of the mall. With so much to do, you can never be bored.

Excellent views and fun little walking tour. Okay shopping options - would definitely recommend touring,shopping,eating just limited amount of options.

Amazing dining and shopping extravaganza in an old fort. Multiple floors to freely walk around.

Rif fort contains a mall with popular shops (mostly American based), a cinema and for instance Star Bucks. Most of the restaurants are settled within the walls of Rif Fort. Rif fort is on the UNESCO world heritage list. You may take a look upstairs, where you can walk on the fortwalls.

Just a short walk from cruise ship nice shops and restaurants. Atmosphere great with steel caribbean drummer there as well.

A favorite must see to shop, relax and enjoy a beverage or something tasty. The historic fort is well cared for. It dates from 1828. The relaxing Plaza is Breezy and inviting. Great shops.

Looking to take a break from the beaches and want to know more about the island, you could do some splunking at the Hato caves. But be advised that the only way that you're going to be able to enter the caves is with a guide. This is a negative as it depends who is your guide. Our guide was very enthusiastic on the tour. There isn't much to see in the caves as it's a small cave. Most of the cave is curated as there are lights and a walkway in the cave. Aside from a cave, there's a small trail for a walk where you can see the exterior of the cave and the fauna and animals surrounding the cave. All in all, this too was a good break from the beaches. But I wouldn't focus your trip on visiting these caves.

I went with my family and friends to Hato Cave in the beautiful island of Curacoe 🏝️ and had a beautiful time. The sight of the cave is incredible. It just so happened that my sister’s and I outfits blend perfectly with the surroundings and our pics turned out great. One tip of advice wear comfortable shoes 👟. Although I had my flats, I managed. Hope you enjoy the pics.

A lovely place to visit with lots of wildlife and cacti on display. There is a steep climb up 49 steps to get inside the caves and then the paths within the caves are a bit uneven and have ups and downs. Our tour guide was informative and funny, teaching us all about the history, bats, stalagmite and stalactite. The inside of the caves are very humid and hot - so bring water and dress cool. No photography allowed until the very end - which your guide will show you.

This was a nice break from the average high intensity excursion. You had to make your way up a few steep steps to get in and the cave was very hot. While they had fans inside, it was still scorching in July. We did this excursion matched with a beach trip on our July 2022 Carnival cruise. While it was nice, it was not as exciting as our other excursions. It was a small cave and we only spent a limited time in. They had multiple groups in and out so you had to wait to move from cavern to cavern. We've done other caves before. Our guide was nice and informative but, if you're really into caves, this may not be the trip for you.

Our tour guide was great! Made sure to do English and Spanish! Explained history, was very knowledgeable! Beautiful view at the entrance of the cave. No photos are allowed inside the caves except in one area and you're given plenty of time to take photos there.

You will need to drive a little bit from the ship port to get this location. We took a Celebrity ship excursion, so everything was included. Hato Caves doesn't seem like much when you arrive until you walk through the archway. It is a small cave system, so the tour isn't long - about 20 minutes. To get to the cave, you will need to take some steep stairs. The view at the top though is worth the climb. Just be aware of this, but the cave is HOT since it is above sea level. They had plenty of fans throughout, so it wasn't too bad. The guide was wonderful as not only did you learn about the cave system, but also some of the history of the island. They do limit where and when you can take pictures. Don't be too disappointed as when you can take the photos, they are in great locations. You can check out mine to give you an example of what you will see. Oh, if you are scared of BATS, then you may want to skip the tour. They have a colony of fruit bats that live in the cave. You can see them occasionally flying around inside. There is an Indian Trail to walk and a Cactus Garden to admire. Because we were on a tour, we didn't get the chance to see it. They have a small shop where you can get some things like food and drink. It was a really hot day when we came, so we got some water. They have plenty of places to sit and some photo ops right near there. I was also surprised by the local wildlife. I saw several native birds and a lizard. I wish I got my phone out faster as I missed the birds.

The caves exceeded my expectations. The no pictures rules was likely to keep everyone together but felt oppressive. Affordable entertainment. Would have been nice to have ice cream available as it was quite warm inside the caves. The guide was hard to understand and needed to be genuine not rehearsed.

Hato caves, had I never been to other caves/caverns might have been more interesting. However it pales in comparison to those other caves. The guide was very pleasant and somewhat informative and pointed out a few interesting areas. Now having been once, I do not feel that I would be inclined to go again.

A friend of mine host an event at the cave tonight! Wow! What a cool place to explore or host an event! I can completely see this place can be an amazing place to get married! The cave is incredible! Very unique and quite big! The outside surrounding is wonderful! Gorgeous trees, a landscape, and a nice atmosphere! Recommended this place and Invite the Curacao event!

Very nice tour guide -- Liam (or was it Leon?) was funny and informative. They have tour options every full hour in Dutch, Spanish and English and each language group gets their own guide. The tour costs $10 per person, which we felt was ok. The caves and formations are pretty amazing and you get to learn a lot about their history and the vegetation inside it, including bats. Just note it gets really hot inside, too!

Amazing experience! We loved Hato Caves and booked a shore excursion through Norweigan that involved a bus ride to the Hato Caves. Once you get there, they have a trail with plaques to follow to see some natural plants and some indigenous people carvings. They also sell snacks, beer, water, and other drinks. The cave itself is awesome and a must-see on the island. The tour takes 4t minutes, and the tour guides are great about talking about the caves history and keeping everyone engaged, but that doesn't take much since the caves are amazing.

This is a good tour to take. My guide was very informative. There are bats in the cave so if you're scared I don't suggest it. It was very hot and humid that day so prepare for that. You can only take pics at certain places inside. If you have free time walk around the outside for some good pics and pics of iguanas.

Hato Caves was a great first stop on our vacation, since it's a unique spot near the airport. We weren't renting a car, so we decided to walk. Their website claimed it was a 12-minute walk, which wasn't the case from the main (west) entrance, but might have been if we'd taken the other (east) entrance instead. With only backpacks and a we-walk-everywhere attitude, we thought it was doable, but we wouldn't recommend it with rolling suitcases. Once we arrived, the staff at the caves were super nice. In addition to selling us tickets for the tour, they patiently answered our questions about their hours and let us leave our luggage behind the bar during our tour, and they didn't lock up and leave until we assured them that we had a driver coming to meet us. (The bar closes when the last tour leaves at 3pm, but the staff waits until 3:30 or 4pm to lock up, so people can enjoy the grounds after their 30-40 minute cave tour.). The caves themselves were smallish but pretty, though sadly photos were only allowed in one spot (the "window chamber", with natural light from a hole in the roof). In other rooms, we enjoyed seeing the cool limestone formations, algae-stained rocks, freshwater pools, and long-nose fruit bats. We had a great guide (Daisy), who pointed out all of those features and more - like soot-stained chambers showing that escaped slaves once hid there - in Spanish, English and Dutch. At one point, he turned off the lights so we could see how pitch-black most chambers are in their natural state. After the tour, we enjoyed birdwatching on their Indian Trail (though we were apparently too distracted to see any pre-colonial artifacts). At US$10pp, it felt like a good value to us.

The caves were very cool. It was a nice attraction to attend while on the island. It was cool to see and learn about the caves and I know they were once underground. It was difficult at times to hear the guide, especially if touring with a big group. The walk around the area was nice after to check out all the plant life. Inside the caves pictures and videos were only allowed in specific areas. Oh and we got to see a cool view of a bat nest.

We went to Hato Caves based on a local recommendation. We got the tour and enjoyed the unique setting. Was not a long stay, but was fun for our family to see more of Curacao and the formations created long ago.

Nice Caves, with the entrance 60 meters above sea level. Guided tour by knowledgeable guide. Takes about 35 minutes, as cave system is not very deep.

A short, 30-minute guided tour will take you through a small portion of this beautiful cave. Photography, even without flash, is not allowed anywhere except for one sunlit chamber. Rock formations abound, and you might even see a few bats!

These were great limestone caves where you descend a lot of steps to enter. The steps though wet in most areas are not slippery. I would recommend that you were shoes or trainers that cover your toes and not flip flops or sandals. The caves are quite extensive with plenty of height and lighted walkways triggered by motion sensors. There is an area with bats in the cave and you can take pictures but not using a flashlight. Some areas have some indigenous paintings that go back many hundreds of years which are quite interesting. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Pretty amazing! It’s worth a visit. We arrived a few minutes before opening to avoid lines and get on a smaller group. It worked and we got a private tour which helps because it’s hot and humid inside.

We did the Animal Encounters at Curaçao Sea Aquarium, this is absolutely the best snorkelling experience we ever had!!! The Aquarium is small, but the activities are great! The dolphin training demonstration was fun, the action feeding/underwater observatory was very cool, and the animal encounters is a must do activity!!! We swam with so many fishes, and the best part was feeding the sharks and the small fishes around us! They have a photographer following you, and Kevin did a wonderful job!!!

Very interesting zoo. You can go swimming with the fish or go in the bottom level of the ship if you want to stay dry and look at the fish. You can feed the flamingos and take pictures There is a dolphin show witch was very impressive and there are shark feedings.

What a fantastic experience! What is great in their story, besides all the fun with dolphins and all the beautiful things to be seen, is the dedication to preservation of endangered species, such as the queen conch. Bravo for you!

Loved the setting, right on the Caribbean Sea. Friendly, helpful staff. Liked how long they let each person interact with the wildlife, feeding the flamingos, or touching the stingrays. Great dolphin show. Not a very big place, but lots to do! Definitely got our money’s worth! Would return.

It was a decent experience, but not for what it was worth. The Dolphin show was basic, it was $165 just to get in the water and pet the dolphins. $200 and something to actually get all the way in the water with and swim, pet, and feed the dolphins. $10 for a kiss from the dolphin. However, It was free for my 2yr old to get in, but my Husband and I were $50 each just to walk around. The Food prices were super high (expected) and choices were limited. The fish/animal variety and the touch exhibit were very simple and limited. And some of the fish were near death. In all honesty Sea World and or the Ga Aquarium is a much better experience. Especially to go half way around the world to visit on vacation. I will not be attending again if and when I return to Aruba.

Wonderful family time spent here. Sharks, turtles, dolphins, stingrays and lots of other fish and sea creatures to see and some to interact with. The flamingo feeding was fun for the kids and a highlight, as was the stingray feeding. The staff is great and really good with the kids. Lots of additional things you can do like the dolphin experience. You'll have fun just with the basic entrance without blowing the bank.

The dolphin show and encouter is worth all the money!!! Staff is super friendly, they keep on inviting turists to the different activities that take place throughout the day. The pictures from the dolphin encounter a quite pricy, give the fact that you've already paid quite a lot for the encounter. The aquarium itself is not much, but worth a visit while waiting for the dolphin show.

Unforgetable experience here. This is the only place i would watch a dolphin show since they are in their own habitat, and did the shark feeding experience which the kids loved!

A small aquarium that doesn't take long to visit. Has static displays, videos, viewing of the fish "up close and personal" and a dolphin show. Well worth a 1/2 day of of your time. Check times to make sure you get all the shows.

Great aquarium to visit. The only issue I had was that some of the tanks probably needed to be cleaned! Besides that I enjoyed my visit. They had so many animals!

Had a wonderful time. Definitely do the sea lens with that private behind the scenes tour. You’ll get to see all the educational programs they’re a part of and meet the animals behind the scenes. They have everything from dolphins to sea turtles, flamingos, urchins, conch, sharks, and more. The Italian sandwich was really tasty too. Definitely get one. And was the cheapest meal we had on the trip.

Me and my husband came in on a cruise ship. We were so excited to learn there was an aquarium there so we booked the animal encounter experience. It was absolutely fabulous. We had the best time ever. So many went to the dolphin encounter it was crowded. But it was just the 2 of us at the animal encounter so we loved that. We got to have a very friendly large female stingray swim right over our legs. And touch some very large tarpon. But the absolute best was feeding the sharks. It was an experience we will never forget. Our guide through the whole experience was Zerich and he was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful and a wealth of knowledge. He loves his job and it really shows. He went above and bet for us as well as another guest who had a little boy who wasn’t old enough to do the experience due to park rules but he found a way to include him in the above water feeding and got him a sharks tooth since the kid was very much into sharks. You don’t find very many people like that nowadays.

Great for the family!! It seems small upon entering but there’s a lot to do. Feeding the flamingos 🦩 and take an awesome pictures with them, the dolphin show, encounters with the dolphins, swimming with dolphins, the dolphin kiss, you can snorkel, there’s also a tunnel you can climb down to see the animals under water. The aquarium tank displays aren’t a wow factor but the activities make it 💯!! Will say everything it clean even the bathrooms. The staff is super nice!! A++ on customer service!! They have two gift shops but personally I thought the prices were a little over priced 🤷🏻‍♀️. They also have a small food court i had an iced vanilla latte… it was amazing! Really hit the spot!! They have water, juice, coffee, soft drinks, pastries, chips candy sandwiches etc. Overall a great visit we really enjoyed ourselves.

This is a cool place to visit. Definitely go the ocean lens experience. You can chose 15 or 30 minutes. Go for the 30. It's worth it. You can get into the water with some of the fish if you want. They also do therapy for handycaped children with the dolphins

The place was crowded which was expected as it was tons of tourist and small children. But i was expecting more, maybe more exhibits and more interactive tools. The only thing i liked was the sea lens which you pay seperate from admission. We also did the dolphin kiss which was a fun and fast experience.

Great activity for families and kids! There are plenty of short events along the day (dolphins or shark feedings, etc) which makes the place dynamic. We learn a lot of the different species and the marines life. Getting there by taxi is easy (20$ from downtown). There is a small restaurant for food. The place was not crowded at all, although we went while there was no cruise ship in town.

It's a very good museum to learn of our collective history, specifically the horrific slave trade and conditions. We chose a self guided tour and spent a good amount of time going through all the buildings. I recommend at least an hour for this museum. It's heavy but necessary. Walkable from the cruise port.

Impressive museum on black history and the horrible and shameful trade of enslaved humans between Africa, Europe and America. It felt gut wrenching to read impressions about how enslaved humans were treated and under which conditions they were recruited, transported and sold. The museum has a range of artifacts as replicas of parts of ships and various other items. Would recommend going here to understand more of the local history of the island and it's inhabitants.

Kura Hulanda Museum, takes you back in to the times where civilization started. Hundreds of Artifacts of thousands of years of antiquity, gives you a glimpse of how the human race developed, lived, shared and communicated among themselves and with other species. The progression of the human race in the ages past until our days. If you are visiting Curaçao, this Museum is a must seen for historians and those who want know the history of the human race. You will definitely be definitely impressed. I always recommend this place to my guests who ask about museums on Curaçao.

Interesting little museum on the history of slavery in Curacao and beyond. The main attraction is the basement of the ship where slaves were transported. The rest of the museum is a bit on the boring side.

A must see when in Curaçao. It shows you the history of the people of the island, the African and black people, the different tribes, and the slavery and it's atrocities. Quite interesting. It is nice to take a guide tour ($3 pp) to learn more. Otherwise there is a lot of information on signs. There is a restaurant near the entrance. And there is the Hulanda Village with nice little shops and restaurants. Walk around the village for lots of street art.

This is a must see Museum.....Willemstad, Curacao. It tells of the forced relocation of Africans from Africa to the Americas and Caribbean by the Europeans in the 17th and 18th Centuries. Also, at this museum, one can see timeless artifacts.

Let's start by saying this.... If you are of African Decent you will find this museum hard to complete and very very emotional. This national gem Is carefully and masterfully curated to showcase a history that is constantly pushed to be forgotten. Relics from the Middle East, Africa, American History, History of the Island of Curacao and more are beautifully displayed with lots of historical information to read along the way. The items displayed will break your heart, leave you in disgust and angry at a global history that Is filled with cruelty and shame. At the same time you can bask in the brilliant culture that has been discovered of a people who once lived a life of pride, art, architecture and grace. This museum for me was one I planned on visiting but left me in a small corner shedding tears. It was amazing but touching and once again extremely emotional. I was grateful for the opportunity to learn more and experience a historic exhibition. I am grateful to the staff and curators for creating such an amazing interactive and informative well organized, well preserved, outstanding space to display the history of people who came before me who endured more than anyone can imagine and suffered more than anyone on this planet. This museum is a harsh reminder of how beautiful humans can be and how disgustingly cruel many have been throughout history and continue to be until this day. This place truly exemplified the great quote "In this great future you cannot forget your past" -Bob Marley

A great and authentic museum where everything is very close to the visitors (are the artefacts preserved well in this hot-dry climate?). Booking a tour in advance is highly recommend!!!

This my 2nd time visiting Curaçao. I decided to look up things to do in the area near the Cruise Port. We did the self guided tour for $20 for 2ppl. The artifacts and descriptions were very informative. I deep look into the slave trade.

Highly recommend this museum! They’ve done a fantastic job covering the entire history of slavery from ancient times through present day. They also have incredible ancient artifacts and cultural pieces.

Absolutely great information and artifacts. The real history of Curacao is not pretty but it is very important. So many beautiful items to see and lots to learn. Heart-renching!

Super well detailed inside of the museum, with an amazing timeline oriented route. About the Trans Atlantic Slave trade, but also about Various African tribe cultures Very well preserved items. And as an descendant of a Afro-Curaçaose an emotional informative experience and very touching.

We were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to visit the outside of the promenade, even though our time was limited due to the early arrival of a cruise. Despite not being able to explore every corner, we were treated to a stunning sight. The beauty of the promenade's exterior was truly captivating, leaving us in awe of its architectural grandeur. Additionally, we were fortunate enough to have a knowledgeable guide who shared the most captivating stories, adding a layer of depth and intrigue to our visit. We are thankful for the chance to experience even a glimpse of the promenade's beauty and history.

The experience itself was very heavy and emotional. The museum lacks reverence for the cultures that the stolen artifacts originated. The white colonizing founder of the museum is centered which perpetuates the pain of the reason for the museum. The memorabilia to purchase totally lacks relevance to the actual museum exhibit. All of those artifacts should be returned to their rightful cultures. The restaurant outside the museum is delicious.

I absolutely recommend getting the guided tour! Very informative and touching museum in beautiful surroundings.

Historical, eye opening, shocking, and very interesting learning experience of the island and its history! You can do a solo or guided tour. We did the solo tour and we learned so much as it is user friendly to follow along the historical trail in the museum. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was 12$ US per person to enter. I highly recommend to visit the museum to learn more about the islands history.

Highly recommended, 10 usd the entrance, and I suggest you pay the extra $3 for the tour guide as well. It is not a light or amusing experience, but absolutely important to understand and know about.

Slavery exhibition extraordinary and dark. African culture exhibition best I have ever seen. Includes Benin Bronzes which are superb (were they original? I have no idea but are worth a visit).

The most relaxing beach club that I visited in Curacao. I made my reservation for a day bed well in advance and was seated right in the front on a bed that was reserved specifically for me with my name on it! The beach was beautiful. There were plenty of water sports available from vendors like jet skis and I forget the name of the other one, but I'll post a pic. I enjoyed the ribs there as well as watching the sunset. I also had dinner at the restaurant there and the food was really good. The only down side is that the canopy for the beach bed is so low that I was literally bumping my head all day lol.. but I highly recommend this beach, just be careful lol

This was simply not what we expected. That's neither good nor bad. The beach however is overcrowded and not relaxed like the beaches at Westpunt. The 3 star rating reflects the beach alone. This is a resort facility for tourists who do NOT stay in real resorts. For example, of you stay at the Marriott or similar, it comes with a private beach, restaurants, cafes, sunchairs, etc.... If you stay at Airbnb or cheaper inland hotels, Jan Thiel gives you access to the resort experience at a smaller fee... Minor entry fee $3 or so per person, then fees for the sun chairs and of course anything you consume....

This place used to be great before covid. Now, it is more of a tourist trap. There are better beaches that don't make you pay for admission or rent beach chairs. I believe it's after 5pm that you can get in without admission.

Very nice place to see the sunset and have a pizza (it is very great). The marine life is very nice and you have plenty of it in there. The entrance is payed and you cannot go with your own food and drinks. Also, you can rent snorkel and fins with scuba-do diving center.

Jan Thiel is a contrived beach environment that is basically a sandbox with restaurants, bars, volleyball court, infinity pool and sunbathing area. If you are beach purist, nature lover, snorkeler/diver/swimmer, backpacker than this is NOT the beach for you. However it is a great place to have a drink or dinner and watch the sun set!

It is very small, but clean, safe, family friendly and beautiful. There are many activities offered here. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of sand space or running space. Otherwise, it is a great place to visit.

Great beach but if you are unlucky you have the noise of an annoying jetski with a hooverboard the whole day. It's disturbing and dangerous so close to swimming kids.

Beautiful beach, but crowded and noisy. It’s a great beach if you are here to party, but not for lounging around. We were saying it’s a great <<ex on the beach>> beach. VERY beautiful, quite “marginaal”

With a small entrace fee ($3.50 pp) the place have plenty of parking. It is beside the Papagayo Hotel. Have many beach chairs, palapas, restaurants, bars and even icecream spot. There is a small artificial beach where you can entre the water, but it is a big Bay area for swimming and snorkeling.

Okay place. The snorkel was average and the shipwreck was nice. The visibility was not the best. The beach is man made but the infrastructure is awesome if you can afford it, but for me it was expensive which reduces the glamour of the place. Having to pay to enter and then for a chair sucked... They did have showers though

It’s a nice bay with plenty of food options on offer. If you want a quieter corner, go to Koko’s. Generally a nice beach but slightly overcrowded.

Mambo Beach is THE tourist beach in Curacao. It's very busy with a lot of shops and beach view bars where you can sit and people watch and drink. If you have kids this is a good place to bring them because there's a protective barrier between the beach and the sea.

Lovely place with lots to do. Nice beach area. The bar on the beach can get busy pretty quickly but they did have people walking around taking orders, however they only take credit cards. The bar top takes cash too.

Mambo beach is a great place to dine, enjoy the beach and relax in the sun. I would recommend Boca's restaurant as it is one of the better restaurants and their attention is excellent. They also have really huge lobsters if you're up for a delicious Paella!

Great beach with apple chairs that are free to use except for the sectioned off places where the tour buses drop off their guests. Many restaurants to choose from both upstairs and on the beach. Nice little break water that keeps the waves off the shore, so it's a very safe place to snorkel and swim. My husband saw a few colorful fish while snorkeling next to the jetty. There are plenty of spots in the shade, but during busier times, they are difficult to find one.

Nice area right off the beach with lots of shops and restaurants. The beach was pretty crowded. There was a stage for concerts. Walking distance to Princess Casino. You can get a taxi here or some tour buses stop here. The shops have air conditioning which was nice.

It is good place to catch up with all the different cuisine of the world. Enjoy and appease your taste buds. The beach is very close and evenings are very pleasant. One can have good mouth watering food while enjoying a senic view of the beach and cool breeze to sooth you. Best time of the week would be either a Saturday or a Sunday. One must go there by early evening say by 4 or 5Pm and then swim in the beach and by early evening choose from a variety of cuisine and occupy a vintage point to enjoy your food with a view of the sea and pleasant cool breeze to end your day . Go there at least once and you will find a reason to go there more often. Waiting to see you there....

Absolutely gorgeous beach. Loved the beach boulevard area- there were so many options to choose from food/drink/beach wise. Great shops. Very clean area. Plenty of taxis available, large parking lot for those driving.

Something for everyone. Great spot for restaurants, souvenir shopping, sun bathing and safe snorkelling for kids and families. It's a few dollars on the weekend to access beach, but nominal. Cabanas are not free but worth the price as they provide you a couple big bottles of water on ice and better service, and a bit of shade. Also close to the Sea Aquarium.

Small entertainment district just ~15 min and a $20 USD taxi ride away from the Willemstad cruise terminal. Plenty of shops, eateries, and (most-importantly) beach bars (I highly recommend Chill Beach Bar and Grill at the very end of the beach at Lions Dive and Beach Resort) on Curaçao's famous Mambo Beach.

Mambo Beach Boulevard turned out to be an absolute delight and a highlight of my trip to Curaçao. It's much more than just a picturesque beach boulevard, it’s the epitome of island leisure blended with lively ambience. The clear turquoise waters took my breath away, setting up the mood for a perfect beach day! Complete with soft golden sands that felt therapeutic beneath my feet, Mambo lived up to its hype. But even after sunset is when this place really starts buzzing. The vibrant night scene offers something for everyone from hip clubs and trendy boutiques to delectable eateries. Every corner bursting with energy yet balanced beautifully amid its tranquil surroundings! Lastly but most importantly - the people here are their own special kind of wonderful. Great spot to visit day or night. WEDNESDAY night after 11pm the party happens. If you're not into late night partying, try it anytime day or night. You can definitely catch a beautiful sunset from plenty of AWESOME 👌🏽 Restaurants.

Beautiful "downtown" area. Looks of shops, restaurants and cool street murals. You don't have to look too far to see the art work, but I recommend taking the time to walk down all the side streets and alleys - lots of great artists on display

A beautiful place to visit in Curaçao it displays the traditional architecture from the Netherlands, it's colorful. You can enjoy a nice walk, have fun crossing the suspended bridge. Take a ferry boat. Have a meal. There's also a lot of options to get souvenirs

The ferry Havendienst 2, seen here on Handelskade in Punda, Willemstad, Curaçao, provides a free passenger service across Sint Anna Bay when the Queen Emma Bridge is open to allow a ship to pass.

So much better than on the pictures, its history meets heritage, meets culture, meets architecture. And its real, and well kept. One time opportunity to walk into a real ( not fake) postcard. Experience it for yourself. Besides viewing and strolling around and taking pictures, enjoy the different cafés and terrace with an astounding view on the harbour.

Had a great time, bought one of each ( we love the chocolate, the blue is so strong but tasty!) the tour was nice. We also purchased a few other items they produce there, like a polar pain reducer menthol liquid which my father in law enjoys.

This is a great option for a quick tour to learn about the island and the liqueur. It is pretty interesting and it's short and sweet. Depending on the tour you buy, you can try some drinks at the end, take advantage of the gift shop. You can't go to the island without doing this tour!

It was an amazing opportunity to witness firsthand the production process of the renowned liquor this country is known for. Watching the skilled craftsmen at work through the windows was truly fascinating. And the best part? The generous sampling they offer! The liquor tasted exceptional. 🥃 I only wish I could have brought home more to savor. Highly recommend a visit for anyone looking to appreciate the artistry and taste of this exceptional liquor.

This was our favorite treasure to find on the island. Eli gave us a magnificent tour and the hospitality of the staff is unmatched. Wonderfully shaded patios to have a drink, and so much culture and history in one place. We came back day after day just to relax and enjoy drinks, the birds, butterflies, and small iguanas roaming the grounds. This IS the hidden gem of the island.

Waren hier am 09.11.2023 für eine Führung, welche wir jedoch leider um 10 Minuten verpasst haben (diese starten zu ausgewählten Uhrzeiten immer zur vollen Stunde) und aufgrund der Mittagspause hätten zwei Stunden warten müssen. Der Mann an der Kasse war jedoch sehr freundlich und bot uns an, die Ausstellung auch ohne Guide ohne Eintrittskosten zu besuchen, was wir dann auch taten. Dort haben wir uns dann die Schautafeln zu der Geschichte des Likors durchgelesen. Reicht eigentlich auch, um sich einen groben Überblick zu verschaffen. Den Guide und seine kleine Gruppe trafen wir dann noch in der Ausstellung, welcher leicht verständliches Englisch sowie Spanisch sprach. Am Schluss wurde ebenfalls an einem Stand dann in kleinen Probe-Bechern Curacao Likör ausgeschenkt, jedoch war leider nicht der berühmte, Blaue mit dabei. In dem sehr schönen Souvenir-Shop haben wir dann aber trotzdem eine Flasche mitgenommen, wenn wir schon mal hier waren. Erstaunlich ist, dass die (große) Flasche Blue Curacao überall wo wir auf der Insel schauten, exakt das selbe kostet - 28 US-Dollar. Ein kurzer Besuch ist die Distille auf jeden Fall wert. Place is amazing and welcoming. Our tour guide Eli knew EVERYTHING about the process of making this most delicious liquors. Do yourself a favor and take a cab from the ports.

The tour is maybe 10-15 minutes long and you're able to taste the various liqueurs. There's a gift shop with various flavours of the liqueurs for sale. Cocktails are available. May be more interesting to persons who are very interested in alcohol and processes in making it. Interesting enough experience but not something I'd necessarily do a second time.

This review is for the cocktail class at the Liqueur Distillery: This was such a fun and unique experience during our visit to Curaçao! We didn’t know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised with how personal/individualized the cocktail class was for each participant. The bartender really took her time with each participant/couple. Sol and Sarah, our class instructor and tour guide, had wonderful energy; They did an outstanding job representing the distillery. I highly recommend booking the cocktail class if you’re visiting the area!

This was a great place to learn about the history of the “blue curaçao” liquor that everyone knows. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and did the tour in 2 different languages since the other people in our group didn’t speak English. The free samples were fun to try. We tried an orange colored orange liquor, tamarind liquor, and chocolate liquor. We loved the chocolate so much we bought a bottle to take home. Then at the end of the tour our guide gave us a cocktail menu to choose a drink from, and served us a round of drinks that was included in the “basic” tour. The drinks were really good, and they did not skimp on the booze. We were so happy with them, we decided to stay and have another drink after. I’m not sure if you can just go back in without paying for the tour again, but if so, I would happily go back to try some more of their signature cocktails.

Little distillery but amazing product. If you want to taste what a cloud could tast try the Tamarin Curacao. Did you know that that all the colorful Curacao are just alimentary food colorant? Be carefully if you drive after the visit because you will not be able to stop after only one drink.

I didn't like the price. I basically paid for 2 drinks made with the Liqueur for $25. Not to take away from the guide, but you could Wiki the process and be fine with the info you get online. The drinks are pretty decent so if you want to go as a tour and make new friends, that might work for you.

My visit to Curacao Liqueur Distillery surely made me realise the amount of history and heritage being preserved for future generations to come. If someone wants to know a lot about Curacao while having a bite or taking a sip, I'll surely recommend them to visit the Liqueur Distillery. There's even a restaurant and bar along with a souvenir shop on the compound.

Great history of the island and the distillery. There's a gift shop where you can buy alcohol or some of their Refresher spray, which is amazing. It's also a bar where you can buy drinks to refresh yourself.

We stopped here on a tour of the city as part of our cruise. The tour only let us stay for 15 minutes. I could have hung out for a few more. They had some great samples, a Coffee Bar, and Ice Cream. The museum was put together well and very interesting.

The best central beach in curacao if you want to snorkel, swim and relax and also with restaurant and bar, always clean bathrooms, beautiful beach with white sand and clear water, admission is $12 per person including chair and umbrella ticket. I recommend it.

Nice and tidy beach, blue water, fine sand and service at your table. You can order food and drinks using a QR-code and it will be brought to your rental bed. Entry fee is 15Naf per person, but is including a rental bed.

Incredible natural beach. We saw sea turtle eggs hatch and got to experience a once in a lifetime event 🥹 The survive of this whole golf resort gated residential place was the best in the island. The restaurants and the bars are perfect. If you visit Curaçao I advise this beach and whole hotel / resort / residential.

We had a fantastic family experience at Blue Bay Resort in Curaçao. The beach and snorkeling opportunities were highlights, with vibrant fish just off the shore. The pools were enjoyable and pleasantly uncrowded. However, the only downside was dealing with no-see-ums on the balcony, so be sure to pack bug spray for a more comfortable stay. Overall, a solid 4-star rating if no bugs 5 star.

For Just $12.00 you get entrance and beach chairs. As soon as you walk pasta the gate you get astonished by this wonderful and protected Bay with turquoise clear water and white sand. There are plenty of chairs and palapas. There are clean bathrooms and shower. You have a nice Restaurant with a Great variety of dishes, from breakfast to Lunch and a complete bar. The snorkeling is good and right off shore. Definitively a must.

I noticed others mentioning the $12 fee for entrance. After 4 pm you can enter at no cost. Just indicate at the gate that you are going to the beach, and show your ID. Go after 4pm and enjoy the sunset and some nice coctails for about $9.
