One of the best beaches to snorkel in Aruba. You will pass the big red anchor on your way to Baby Beach. Large area to snorkel with reefs and fish in only 10-15 feet deep water. Bar and restaurant is there.

Great beach to go for the day, rent a beach canopy by the water at for the day at a very reasonable rate. Bring a cooler and lots of sunscreen. The water is great to wade in, and the rocks give great protection from the ocean waves around. You can probably walk a few hundred meters out and never go over your head for an average height man.

Beautiful beach! Get there early to get a palapa. Guys that rent the sun shades do not take credit cards, so be sure to bring plenty of cash. We were told $70.00 for a sun shade and two chase lounge chairs.

A less crowded beach with some of the clearest water in the Caribbean! It is worth the extra trek to come down to this local beach. Baby Beach doesn’t get the same attention of her northern/western friends; but that’s a good thing! Rum Reef is an amazing establishment with stunning views, amazing service, and delicious food! 100% worth the drive even if you are the most causal of tourists and not an ISLAND BOI. So the drive is about 40 min from eagle beach maybe 45 min from hotel Zone give or take 10 mins depending on traffic. Many traffic circles learn how to use them and you will be a pro. At the end of the trip roads bumpy and there’s some donkeys on the road in the same place by the big anchor. You know what they say about the big anchor! When you are almost there after the village with the bumpy road and non painted speed bumps there’s a port o potty that’s the only place to take a Chuck-e-cheese at this beach, unless you buy something from the restaurants at both ends. Parking is plentiful even if it’s busy. Checks out the low wake area front left for some warm water. Very mild currents and no waves TOTAL VIBE ALERt!!! Tip of the day for my fair skinned brothers and sisters, because we are so close to the equator consider going heavier than spf50 we burned so easy. Total vibe great place czek it out

Nicest Beach there if u don't mind some rougher surroundings. Some people may focus on the refinery in the background but hey... oil doesn't come from the skies. For 60 bucks u get 2 chairs and a little cabana. If you think that's expensive for a day or a few hours at a tropical beach with white sand and turquoise water but u pay 40 bucks to park at six flags then just stay home

Love! Love! Love! This beach. Fantastic beach for families and for non swimmers. It’s very shallow and calm. There is a restaurant on site and ample parking available. It’s about a 30 min drive from Noord so I suggest you get a rental if plan on coming to this beach. It’s worth the drive!

One of my favorite beaches in Aruba! It does get quite busy so plan to arrive in the morning. There is parking available if you are driving down. I have seen buses and taxis drop off visitors. You can rent lounge chairs and cabana (shelter). There is a couple of restaurants to go to if you did not bring any food with you. Burger and fries was something I had and it was tasty. The price was $13 taxes in for those who wanted to have an idea of it. They do have happy hour and sell beers in a small bucket of ice (they do hold your licence if you want to take it with you to the beach so it encourages you to return the bucket and empties).

If you are in Aruba, you must make the trek to Baby Beach. Trees provide much-needed shade. Find a spot and get cozy. Washrooms for paying customers or pay the 2 dollars. Ice cream was delish! Walk along the shore to the left hand side. You won't regret it. Snorkeling is great around that area, too. Really pretty.

This is the best beach on the island. It’s remote, the water is extremely calm and there’s a variety of fish that you can see while snorkeling. There’s a restaurant with restrooms and a parking lot as well. Get here soon because there’s a resort being built which might impact its beauty.

Great place to go snorkeling, the water is crystal clear! You’ll want to get here early in the day to get a spot, this popular snorkeling hole gets busy real fast! They do have food available for purchase but you will be paying tourist prices for it. Best to pack a lunch!

First of all Susan was and is the most responsive person who really takes the time to ensure you make the right decision and get the right dive for what you are looking for. I tried connecting with multiple diving centers in Aruba and most were not responsive or did not respond to a simply inquiry. Susan was super responsive over email and even over the phone when we were completing the final details. I was looking for shore dives as I wanted to explore the reefs mainly in Aruba and we went to Rocky beach, we did two dives and explored the north and south side. Saw two scorpion fishes resting on top of each other, unfortunately took a second for the camera to restart and by that time they had separated, but still beautiful. Also saw two lizard fishes and several eels. I was very impressed by the reef, was in great shape, that's benefit of the location of Aruba, it is away from the destructive path of hurricanes. Overall great reef!

Awesome dive experience and customer service. I had a very late minute reservation (30 hours) and they were able to fully accommodate my group of 5 on a Sunday. Sue was extremely responsive, I emailed them at around 10 PM and I had a response my 730 AM. From our guide Eric, to Sue running everything and fully explaining all their safety protocols before we started. To the Captain keeping us safe and making an occasional joke everything was perfect. I don't usually write Google reviews but Jad's is excellent! JP was amazing, so easy to communicate with and very responsive. They helped arrange a private lesson for me to recertify while my husband did his discovery dive. Eric was a knowledgeable and patient teacher. He also took and shared several photos of us! We also rented our car from them, which was seamless. It was an easy arrival and they even met me earlier than planned for my departure. To top things off, Eric was instrumental in helping me retrieve my wallet after I left it at a local restaurant. The team at Jad's really goes out of their way to accommodate you. Great place to take photos. We like to explore and it was great to see San Nicolas on the way. We stopped got great photos and after we came upon a group of donkeys, one of which came to our car window. After we drove in a beach and saw a group of goats grazing. Great scenery.

To all the sailors lost at sea. Passing this landmark you have to stop and think, then take pictures. Background is pretty amazing too. Kitesurfing can be seen on nearby Grape Field or continue to the right to get to Baby Beach & Rogers Beach where you can swim.

Amazing Sunrise views. I would post more pictures but I don't want to ruin it for you. They should put a shop or 2 there and promote the views more around the Island but I don't think they would as the Prison is pretty much in full view to the north. We wish we walked down further towards the ocean but as The Anchor is the only thing in the area we didn't really want to leave the car.

Rodger’s beach is a hidden gem. Located near the crowded Baby beach, you enjoy the same beautiful pristine Aruban water. First beach in Aruba where we had the water all to ourselves. There’s a small run down bar that’s abandoned that can be used for some shade. Local’s say the previous owner has an interesting backstory. Next time you visit ask a local about Rodger’s bar. There’s a small pier perfect to jump into the water. Just be careful not to accidentally jump on a turtle. This area is a scuba paradise. A lot of fish and turtles to view in the water.

This beach is a representation of our human footprint on Mother Earth. To have a gorgeous body of water juxtapose with an industrial monster, such as a refinery, is a poetic symbol of the how we continue to spoil our world. On the contrary, there is an uncertain beauty that you can’t deny when you take your first glance. Personally, I would not advise swimming here due to the closer proximity to the refinery.

If you want a less known Beach that feels private, this is a great place. A few palm shacks lend shade and you can park right along the edge. The water is calm and the sandy slopes make it great for swimming. Despite lot of sea grass and moderate depth, the snorkeling was poor given the absence of fish and severe limited visibility. The neighboring refinery gives an ominous feeling to this otherwise lovely Beach. Walk over to Jads Dive Center / beach bar for snacks or keep going for the bustling Baby Beach (which offers better snorkeling).

Beautiful soft sandy beach with clear water. We came on the weekend and there was someone with a giant speaker on their car DJ’ing on the beach. It was a fun atmosphere. We visited again on a weekday and it was much more quiet.

Beautiful beach, very local, no facilities, very relaxing. Bring your own chairs, go for a swim, chill for a bit. Unfortunately, there are no washrooms on site so we don't stay too long. But it is much quieter than nearby, over populated beaches. Perfect for those who want more solitude.

The Lighthouse isn't a traditional one, but this place is really best for a little hike along the coast to view the gorgeous scenery. Lots of crashing waves and small little lizards 🦎 scurring around. Beautiful scenery with the oil refinery on the opposite side for juxtaposition. There is a little parking available. Best to wear tennis shoes, but flip flops will do if you take it easy.

The best part is honestly not even the lighthouse; rusted box metal thing at the peak of the beach area. It's the view beyond it, the off-road rocks down to the crashing waves. It's a great little hiking location to get close to the deep ocean waves.

Nice little hike in the heat and on cactus. 😫😅The view is amazing but beware of where you step. Our soles were thick and we were staying on the trail but somehow we got pricked through our shoes anyway. Be sure to bring some tweezers or pliers otherwise your hiking adventure will be brought to an abrupt end.

We drove over randomly from Baby Beach just to see more, and the waves here are amazing to watch from above! We loved walking around to the overlooks, and also spotted a couple of deer running around the cliff edge. The road isn't too bad up to the lighthouse, but also the lighthouse is not a beautiful one to take pictures of - the coast is the sight to see here.

The southern tip of the island is breathtaking! The landscape is so different then anywhere I have ever been. There isn't much there and it's secluded but there is plenty to explore. Well I did not see this lighthouse until I looked at my photos and saw it was blocked off my view by the weather station located to the north of it. Anyhow, I was more entranced by the surrounding area and the ocean cliff view. The terrain consists of very rough igneous rock, mostly lava rock, so be careful treading on them. Also avoid the strewn out cacti as you try to get you views further north of the location. Your legs will definitely get a workout here. There are two main views here: both are impressive. The aforementioned cliff view of waves breaking against the precipice to the west is a spectacle to behold. To the north, which does some traversing the rough ground, has a more grander view of the waves crash into a rocky tidal plain. With the windmills in the distance, it really is a tranquil sight. Also the place is very windy, just be aware of that.

My wife and I were told that the Museum of Industry was the only museum open in San Nicolas by the Visitor Center attendant on Monday. We had a very informative tour and the manager answered all of my ridiculous questions with grace and patience. Clean bathroom, refreshing air conditioning. Worth the $5 entrance if you're wandering around looking at murals on a hot day. I particularly loved the upstairs stories shared by old timers. Very unique experience.

Small but beautiful and friendly museum that shows in 5 steps the economic and industrial development of Aruba and how it was to live in it. On the second floor a great video installation where you become part of a (15 to 20 minutes) conversation, testimonials, of people who lived it. Highly recommended. Open on weekdays from 9 to 6 and on Saturday from 10 to 2.

This museum is set inside an old water tank which is just the start of the fantastic and superb tour... It's 5 entry fee that can be paid with cash or card. The museum is carefully and well set out for a historical/ chronological walk through Aruba's history which is a quite interesting story of prosperous ups and to me suspicious downs. It gives a beautiful display of the diversity and harmony that exists on the island. My tour was conducted by an extremely knowledgeable and polite guide ( I have no idea why his name slips me) who was answered all questions with enthusiasm. The tour ends in a theatre like room for tales from Arubans of older times I think the museum is a must see! We simply took a bus down from Oranjestad 2.50 and walked about 5 minutes in an easterly direction! You can see the tour from the bus park.

After hearing interesting stories of the museum of industry I thought it was about time to pay it a visit. We made it a 5 galls Sanicolas visit my island kind of day. Entering the water tower felt like old met new. We were greeted by Edward who gave us a private tour. He knew a lot for sure, he took us back in time when Aruba as a tiny island was making a name for itself. He was very passionate about his work, was interactive with the group, answered our questions and we learned a lot of our island. They had beautiful pictures, old tools, maps and a nice timeline in the story! All by all, a very interesting museum, lots of valuable information, with a modern touch situated in a very beautiful old building. Worth the visit!

It's a MUST see for all tourists and visitors of Aruba! Far away of high rise and low rise hotel area you'll get the pure Aruba feeling. San Nicolaas is a beautiful city which a lot of impressive house paintings! The museum it self is separated into two floors, downstairs you'll get detailed information about the different types of industry, which have influenced Aruba until today. Upstairs you'll get into a circular cinema with different TVs, where you'll hear six people and their stories about the development of Aruba. Make sure to change your seats during the presentation, to get the feeling of being face to face with them. After the tour through the museum, we had a very interesting and informative talk with one of the people, who work there, about our impression of Aruba and how we thought about Aruba, before we came here! Very nice, small museum in a monument. If you read everything, it'll take around 30 minutes. I'd only wish to see more elaboration on new developments in the industries and updates on the green goals. The guides are very friendly and jovial. Be mindful that at this time, they are not open every day (Tue-Thu, 9-3) and you have to pay cash for the tickets inside the museum. There are ATMs in walking distance. Tip: Combine the museum visit with a self-guided tour of the beautiful murals (find route at the Aruba Visitor Center nearby the museum) and grab a bite to eat at the Nicolaas Store.

An ATV is recommended for this area, but since we only had a small car, we just took a short ride out here to check out the view. There were tons of goats near the cliff that we got to see run straight up to the top. This is a beautiful area. Lots of wind, so there were constantly kite boarders in the water, which were very fun to watch.

Walked on the shore from Boca Grande to Grapefruit Beach. The sand has a massive amount of garbage. The waves are rough. If you look out toward the sea the water is beautiful and majestic. The garbage is heart breaking. Makes me realize that the populated beaches in Aruba must be cleaned up regularly from the plastic and junk that floats ashore.

Very quiet and secluded. Not sure why this place isn't more popular. Nice barrier reef keeps the shore waves to a minimum for young kids. You just need to find the right section of beach that has minimal waves and minimal junk washed up. If you are in a regular car don't go off the hard pack road, the sand can get very soft.

There’s more to Aruba than its turquoise beaches; San Nicolas’ phenomenal street art scene is not to be missed! The inspiring Tito Bolivar has transformed this town by organizing an annual art fair that attracts world class muralists and mosaic artists. His Artisa Gallery also holds workshops to mentor local talent. The best way to appreciate these murals is to take the guided Aurba Murals Tour. I did this while on a girls’ trip for a friend’s birthday. We learned a ton about urban art and interesting Aruba history. It's an interactive experience. The stories behind the artwork bring them to life. There are also 3-D works and an amazing phone app that actually animates some of the murals! I enjoyed seeing the more authentic, less touristy side of Aruba. There's also Baby Beach, the Red Anchor Memorial and bungalows with beautiful doors.
