This park is definitely one of the best - it is so large it can be overwhelming but I'd still encourage anyone to take their time, just maybe make a plan. There is a ton to see and a heavy emphasis on Mayan culture and flora/fauna. Some of the exhibit areas were really well done - the aviary reminded me totally of Jurassic Park. Nice expansive gift shop at the end - great for a leisurely browse if you like that sort of thing. Warning once inside the prices are HIGH.. we got a fruit drink type thing and it ended up being about $14 CAD. Would come back if I was in the area - tons to do and lots of nice places to chill out and relax, or go on more adventurous things if you want. One star off as I just can't get behind the dolphin enclosure areas.. just seems cruel and they swim around looking quite depressed until it is time to work. Not my favorite thing to see. TIPS: Wear comfy shoes Bring sunscreen Bring a change of clothes They have lockers for swimming activities Bring a water bottle (or a few)

A bit disappointing. The park looks pretty and is well maintained, but it's a bit boring and mediocre at best. Basically it's like a zoo where you can swim and pay for some extra activities. The information (both on the website and on the park) is limited and incomplete. The staff is not very helpful. At the river entrance the staff member told us all 3 routes are the same, but that doesn't seem to be true. There are some animals, but not enough to make it an interesting zoo. There are some performances, but you have to be lucky find one at the right time. There are some other sights, but nothing that impressed us much. The food was good. No complaints about that! Overall it feels overpriced and you will still have to pay extra for pretty much everything. We've been to much better theme parks and zoos. Tip if you go: taxis are cheaper and faster than the official bus.

Absolutely a beautiful and joyful experience. There is no way to do everything in one day. We had the Plus ticket which included lockers, buffet choice from one of several restaurants and other plus access and activities. We got lucky with the perfect weather and a time when it wasn't overly busy. There is a huge parking area and parking is included. Everything is clearly marked and clean. When you present or get your new tickets the way into the park is clear and there are many employees ready to help you along the way with any questions. There are several colored paths you can choose to follow on the sidewalks as well as marked "road" signs. Stop and look at the large map posted to orient yourself and look at all the things you can see and do. There are several small shows, sites, displays, interactions to choose from. It's not possible to do everything in one day. You can also pay for add-on activities or purchase an upgraded ticket that includes added activities. We didn't and we still had time only to see maybe 1/3rd of this beautiful place. If you're interested, read about how this place got developed. It's fascinating. My advice is that you pick the paths and activities you want to accomplish roughly with leeway to stop here and there along the way when something catches your eye. One thing - always carry water. The place is huge and it's hot and you need to hydrate. You can buy bottled water and refill it at several marked stations throughout the park. I am posting some photos but honesty they hardly do this place justice. Yes, it's pricey but for the cleanliness, quality, safety, variety and beauty of this place we found it highly worth it and plan on returning.

What an amazing experience from them picking us up at our resort, to explaining the park on our way there. It was crazy busy the day we went but we still had so much fun. The underground river swim was spectacular and there are attractions along the route. There are animal exhibits which were cool. Our package included the lunch buffet which was better than some of the restaurants we went to in Playa. It was a great experience and would do it again.

Stunning resort with plenty to do, although additional activities comes with an additional price tag. Paid extra to swim with the dolphins and do sea trek. Long day with lots of walking, good food selections available, show at the end (7-9pm) felt extremely long after being there for 12 hours, however entertaining and worth seeing. Transportation included, picked us up from the hotel and straight back no issues. Staff are kind and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you can keep up with all the walking!

I can't say enough about this place. There is so much to see and do for all ages. There is a lot of walking so I would suggest comfortable shoes and if you intend to do the water activities I would bring water shoes because the reefs are very sharp. They let you bring in your own food and drinks as well as your own snorkeling equipment. I would suggest doing this if you are on a budget because the food drinks and Equipment can get quite expensive. Another thing I would suggest is to make sure you take a lot of your own pictures. A waterproof camera would be a great idea. The picture packages are also quite expensive.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The show at the end is worth watching. You will NEVER regret visiting here!! It is a big park so if you Plan on visiting make sure you wear comfortable shoes. If you need a stroller for your little ones, they have areas to rent strollers for the day. This is and ALL DAY activity from 7ish AM until 9PM. There are two time slots for when ever you want to leave is you arrive via bus transportation it sit around 4PM and 9PM. Comment questions if you have any, I’ll gladly answer them!!

Visited this park on the last day of our vacation. This would be perfect for those folks with kids. It’s built mainly around 3 rivers that run through the park. If you are not planning to enter the river, then you might feel that the entrance fee is too expensive as the land activities are not that great. There’s an aviary and a butterfly pavilion which were nice. There was a horse show which was nice. The espectacular night show was amazing and beautiful performances by all the artists. Would definitely recommend staying for this show. Overall, the entrance fee seemed pricey for what the park offers.

Definitely a must see and an absolutely great experience! The underground river is a fun way to explore and travel, as there's checkpoints where you can stop if you want to leave early. It's a very big location, so definitely a lot of walking but it has different areas which are themed and offer different things to see. One of the best highlights and something you shouldn't miss is the show at the end, as they tell a great story about their past history and how their culture has evolved to what it is today.

Wonderfully fun! Get the photo package it is worth it! So many fun activities to do, unfortunately not enough time to do them all. Looking forward to another visit in the future. We went early to avoid the wait, but there was a huge line behind us by the time we had our activities booked. Go as early as possible and book your activities right away before they fill up!

This place was amazing. There is the underground river which is probably an hour? I don't know if went by really fast. Tons of beautiful sites to see, birds, ruins, monkeys. We had a blast on a day pass. I want to stay there sometime for several days just to get to really enjoy it.

What a fun experience! We chose to do two extra cost activities and swam with stingrays and nurse sharks. Awesome activities which allowed some hands-on time with the animals. Make sure you are changed into your swim wear before you show up for your appointed time. The aviary was incredible and filled with tons of birds. Side note, many employees spoke fluent English, which was incredibly helpful for us. Bring a waterproof phone case for your phone, cash, I.D. and receipts - they do sell them at the park. Bring coral safe sunscreen.

The night show is a must... it was really spectacular. The day activities are fun as well, especially seeing some special animals and fishes. The inclusive lunch is tasty. You will need more time to go through all activities available. However as a nature person, i would prefer just to see the night show and spend the day in the ocean instead of in a water park. If you have kids and teens, this place is perfect to spend entire day.

Loved this park and cannot wait to go back! It was adventure, culture and sooooo much to do. I definitely needed to stay for a few days but I went as part of a cruise excursions and it just wasn't enough time. My guide Javier was AMAZING! He's so kind and helpful. I love their idea for a picture package, but I wish that I would know where they would be so I can prep. Lots of my pictures were no good but still a phenomenal experience. Already planning a trip in the next few years to stay longer.

Loved this place! Really wasn’t sure what to expect before going but it’s a really huge theme park that you can easily get lost in. It’s massive. We spent all day there and I feel like we only scratched the surface of what there is to see and do. Make sure if you go, you make it a whole day and stick around for the big show at night. It was incredible. Little bit of music and dance from every region in Mexico with a lot of history. Going way back to Mayan times. I’d go again in a heartbeat and I’d also like to check out some of their other parks.

As an American tourist, I wasn't sure how my visit here would go but it seemed like everyone spoke Spanish and English fluently and were exceptionally helpful when trying to find the next best activity. I've never been anywhere like Xcaret and WOW they definitely deserve all the high praise they get. My husband and I really appreciated how easy everything was. Maps are plentiful along the paths, the paths are physically marked as the color they are on the map, and there are so many unique things to do here! Highly recommend the SeaTrek, also the dolphin experience if that's your kind of thing. FYI the photos from the Dolphin Experience are more expensive then I thought they would be, but we still splurged on it. Speaking of photos, the photo pass for the park is 100% worth it. They really streamlined the process of taking magical photos and it's really not THAT expensive for how many great shots you can get with just a scan of the wristband. Highly recommend this place and will hopefully be back to explore more of the park! If you can, try to get more then one day here, there are just way too many things to see and experience! PS: make sure you have a waterproof phone case, your swimsuit, and at least one change of clothes. Most activities involve getting wet or honestly it's just real humid so being able to change helps considerably.

Very clean and beautiful natural environment. The part where the birds are is very beautifully designed. Be sure to try the part where you can wear a mask and see the fish underwater. But if there were more colored fish, it would be more attractive.

For kids and adults, this place is absolutely amazing. Very well laid out, the kids' park is extremely safe & fun. Made me wist adults were allowed to use it. The buffet was awesome, and animals are super cool to see. The butterfly sanctuary is beautiful as well. All around, I highly recommend the as your go-to place if you have never been.

Simply amazing!!! This is such a beautiful place to visit. The unground river you can float in, I loved seeing the butterflies, the sea turtles and dolphins The buffet. I highly recommend visiting here if you are in the area. I also would recommend getting the plus pass. It will include the buffet.

One of the best attractions I’ve ever been to (and I’ve traveled extensively around the world). The best way I can describe is: if Dubai + Disneyland had the perfect child: organized, clean, entertaining for the whole family, and most importantly, with its own personality. You can easily spend the whole day there from opening to closing. The food was great (vegan tacos were surprisingly delicious) and there are (free) drinking water fountains everywhere🙏 Lots of clean bathrooms too! The night show is top notch, simply a must! The park is accessible to wheelchair users and disabilities such as hearing. I do have ethical issues with the activities involving swimming with dolphins and sharks but those are optional. Medical attention is quick and effective (my 75 year old father got low blood pressure and he has very pleased with the assistance).

Heard so much about this place and it is INCREDIBLY AMAZING!!! Our tour guide was so organized and we got in and just had an amazing time from the moment we laid our eyes on this gorgeous place. We had the buffet and it was so good, I tried a little bit of everything and just wish i could have eaten more! The swim in the cave was incredible, albeit my anxiety was a little high swimming with 2 little ones, but there are guides along the way and lifeguards throughout the way. The scenery was beautiful but the most amazing part was the show at the end and the delicious food we were served during the presentation. I would love to come back here because we didn't even see half the grounds even though we spent all day here. Definitely recommend!! We had a 1 year old, 3 year old and 15 year old who all had a great, great time!

I would definitely recommend if you come with kids and with a full tank of energy. This park is a 12+ hour day of activities. There is lots to do and to discover but also keep in mind that you will have to buy lunch and dinner, so keep lots of extra money for the day. Also, a lot or should I say most of the fun activities like in water walking and snorkeling are extra. So visiting this park will definitely keep you entertained but can also leave a hole in your pockets.

It was a very refreshing experience! A well maintained wildlife park. No funny smells (which is understandable if there was), fun exhibits, cute photo ops and cool activities to do! The final show was absolutely stunning! The lazy river however dint have tubes so it felt like a little bit of a work out. I would avoid if you don’t know how to swim because the support rope is discontinued in some areas. Im 5’3 and I couldn’t stand at any point. It does take all day to check out everything, so I suggest reaching the park early like around 9-10 AM. It definitely is a must visit! I highly recommend it! It can be a cute date idea and also a fun big group trip!

Very good theme park to visit, around 30 minutes away from Bahia Principe area. Getting in is very easy if you come early, around 5 minutes before it actually opens. The whole experience was very exotic and beautiful. Recommend the underground river first thing. Pretty dark at some times, and many of them to choose from, including one with ropes to swing from in the dark areas. Maps are easy to understand after that, with the whole park split into sections. Buffets are all around the place, in case you need a quick bite. Extra activities are about as expensive as Xel-Ha’s other activities, like the swimming with sharks. Mayan city exhibit features different natural and Mayan wonders. Truly a good place to end the day off. Beaches are nice, and snorkeling is very interesting, only it’s pretty popular, so you won’t see much fish in the crowded areas. Price is a bit expensive but acceptable, so just a nice place to go to on a day off.

Brought my twin 13yo kids for their first time on 3/14/24 and they had the best time! We arrived at 11am and regret not arriving earlier because there’s so much to do. I’d recommend that you do all the water activities first, enjoy the free buffet then walk around and explore. There’s a huge lazy river with multiple entrances so you can take different routes to the exit. It’s quite a long swim so be prepared. There’s also a zoo, aquarium, ruins and much more sight seeing to do. You can buy tickets in advance for a small discount off, but the best deal you’ll get is at the airport. You’ll have to attend a sales meeting at Xcaret hotel but their team is kind and you get a free buffet. I ended up buying the membership and would advise that if you’re going to buy then don’t take the first deal they offer you lol.

A great experience for the whole family. Float in the senotes, swim in the ocean, visit all the tropical birds, catch the best show at night, and splurge on dolphin experience. Bring some cash and a waterproof phone case for sure. Arrive early. We paid for the photo pass which made the experience more fun for sure!

This place is so much fun. Safe, clean, all inclusive environment. Awesome buffet menu & drink (juices) included. We want during the day and spend aprox 5 hours. Zip line was my favorite along with the semi underwater cave system.

This place was beyond what I could have imagined. The exciting outdoor water activities, the zip-lining, and even the food was amazingly delicious. I had a wonderful time here and it was my first time. I advise everyone to purchase the bracelet for pictures and also the buffet. Staff was very friendly and professional. Zip-lining staff was on their A-game from the beginning, not some, ALL OF THEM. They were courteous, professional and they never stressed when the people piled up. I was really astonished by how well this theme park ran. The amount of memories I created here will be one I can remember forever.

Highly Recommended!! My visit lasted around 5 hours, and I must say it was time well spent. There's ample parking, and getting tickets was a breeze. Food and drinks were included in the price of the ticket, which is a fantastic bonus. Additionally, lockers are available to store your items, making it convenient and worry-free. One piece of advice: make sure to walk with your water shoes!! If you forget them, don't worry; some are available for purchase onsite. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

Awesome park. The wait was minimal at two of the zip lines points. Time went by so fast because you're always moving, and before we knew it, it was lunchtime. The restaurant had a large selection of food and the best part, it was warm and delicious. And there are no words for the wait staff, I can only think of exceptional, and I still think it's not enough to describe these hard attentive workers. The same is said for the rest of the staff. The staff at the rides make you feel safe, always ensuring safety was carried out and ensuring that one was doing okay.

This place is for people who would love to enjoy and explore stalactite caves lit up by beautiful lighting and surrounded by water. Swim, walk or boat in these caves, the experience is wonderful. There are also activities like zip lining, Driving jeeps and water slides. Definitely a must do.

Xplor is a definite - most do when you are in Cancun! It was absolutely accelerating and full of adrenaline. The food was also really good with a vast of amazing food and choices of a full bar. You do climb a lot to go to each zip line. Overall had the most amazing time.

Visited with friends, had an amazing and fun time. Be aware that is crowded and there are long lines ouside of every activity. Great if you love zip lines and caves!! The underground waters are a must! Crystal clear and cold!! Food is great and they also offer lockers for your staff.

We visited this park at the end of September so we got experience this park to the fullest! There were little to no lines at any of the attractions here, we got to do every attraction at least twice. The entire park was so beautiful and amazing, I’m truly at a loss of words! - Buffet here was delicious. So many different items that were so amazing here so I cannot name them all, you just have to check it out and try them - The entire staff here was very helpful and friendly - Both zip lining courses were amazing - The ATV were an amazing experience. There’s two courses here, one of them is definitely way better than the other - The underwater caves left me at a loss of words. They were so beautiful - The hammock zip lining was cool. Nothing compared to the actual zip lining I’ll definitely be coming back to this park!

We spent a wonderful day!! Still in awe how well-managed everything is in the park. The stuff is always helpful, friendly and smiling at you. Whenever you go, you are always surrounded by the rainforest and beautiful scenery. The park is themed around caves and underground exploration. I have never before in my life had a swim or took a raft in the cave. So impressive! Tips wise: - bring your own water shoes - bring your own waterproof phone holder (700$ pesos in the park) - bring your own towels - go to the zip lines either the very first thing or the very last. It gets the most crowded around 10:00-10:30 am. - explore 2 routes with ATVs. The one with the departing station 1 and 2 is way cooler - try to buy the ticket in advance (at least 48 hours to get the discount) Underground expedition was a bit underwhelming. You just walk through the cave. If there is a queue, I would recommend doing other activities first like the raft and swimming. Unfortunately, during our visit TOBOGANXOTE (the water slide) was not open yet:(( Other than that, I would highly recommend spending the day with your family, friends or loved ones there.

Wow! So much fun! We were hooked with the images at the resort of zipping through flames, and surprised to see a theme park built around a cave system. Too awesome! We felt safe, plenty to see and do, food was good, and it was an overall great experience! Unique and I would recommend!

Amazing experience. They have lovely activities like driving into jungle, swim in river and walk throw caverns. As a tip book your entrance in advance with 7 or 21 days, you will get 10-15% discount and do it from Xcaret website is the cheapest way and buy swimming shoes before getting there you will need it.

This place was sooo fun...it was an amazing experience. I got there just after the park opened and was able to do every experience as well as eat. My favorite experience was the jeep ride but everything else came in second because it was hard to choose. If you do ziplining be prepared for a lot of walking and climbing. The buffet offered a variety of different food and drinks which all were good. You definitely want to have water shoes and if you bring your own sunscreen it has to be biodegradable, they'll check the Ingredients on it and if contains certain things they'll hold it for you (you pick it up when you leave) and give you packets of biodegradable sunscreen to use. They give you a locker to use which is a decent size and the key is on a wristband that can withstand all the activities. I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back and try the night experience!

A fabulous day for all the family at Xplor. A very well organised place which flows seamlessly from one activity to the next. Very helpful and nice staff, especially Raul in the restaurant who had exceptional customer service. You will receive locker keys (lockers are small) and helmets. Bring your own towels and sea shoes. All activities are fabulous, particularly the ATV's and zip lining. Great selection of food In the restaurant too.

Absolutely worthwhile experience! All the activities were fun but I especially liked the zip lining, as you go through many different courses and eventually land to a water area. I really liked that the had two areas where you can have refreshments and cookies, and the buffet restaurant too. Provided a nice resting area before going with the next activity. One thing to note, they have restrictions on the sunscreen you can use, so be wary of that as they will take it and hold on to it while you're there.

This is one of our favorite places when we come to the riviera maya! They have the best zip line circuit around and all the activities are well worth the admission price! Their buffet is the best we have had at any theme park and is included in the price. The park is very well planned out and i believe everything is posible to do in one day. Pretty soon the will have their next attraction ready to go, its a big slide that includes i believe 4 different slides

Spending a good day there, lots of activities and quality of the services and food was good. Dont trust the colour sign about the activities, it shows red (busy) but nobody was there or shows green (not busy) many people were there. They tried to manage the time but giving you the not accurate spending time on the line. Better to start from one and follow the rest. If its a busy day you need to full day 9-5PM to be able to finish all activities. Be sure to have water shoes and comfortable swimsuits.

Visited Xplor whilst on holiday in Cancun, I’d researched it prior to coming and we both knew we wanted to visit. We arrived through our transfer at 9 and was seen promptly, we were provided helmets & our locker key. Bring your own water shoes and waterproof phone case if you want to take photos. We did but saw they were selling water shoes for over $70 and phone cases for $50. As the park is go at your own pace we started with the zip lines, they were amazing, absolutely breath taking. My partner and I were able to go on them together too which was so much fun to do together. We then did the ATVs which were so much fun, the caves are magical. We then did all of the water activities, the rafts, the swim, and the underground expedition. Absolutely incredible. The swim through the waterfall was beautiful. The only one we didn’t enjoy so much was the rafts, a lot of people in front of us didn’t know how to use them and everyone was getting held up and bumped into. The lunch was also really good quality. You definitely work up an appetite so that was great, my partner was very happy. Our transfer didn’t come back until 4.30 but we were done with everything at around 2ish. It’s definitely worth it and we had such a memorable day out

A tip for future visitors: invest in the photo package at the entrance – it's a worry-free way to capture all your action-packed moments. It would be even better if they included the videos in the package rather than selling them as part of a higher tier. The lunch buffet was a delightful surprise – the food was amazing, and the staff across the park were not only wonderful but also incredibly helpful. We felt safe on every ride, adding to the overall positive experience. For future adventurers, I recommend starting your day with the exhilarating zip lines in the morning. Tackle all the circuits before moving on to the off-road amphibious vehicles. Opt for an early lunch, preferably before noon, to beat the crowds. Then, spend the remainder of the day enjoying the fantastic water activities. Xplor can be visit in one day for thrill-seekers, and with a bit of strategic planning, you're in for an unforgettable day of adventure!

The caves were awesome. The food at the buffet was fresh and very tasty. The hamock zip like was extremely fun, as well as all the other zip lines. The most fun we had was driving the amphibious buggies on two separate trails. It was well worth the money.

This place was awesome! We were on a cruise and we did an excursion to this park. The staff was friendly. The rides were fun and even though we were there for a short time everything was amazing. There were some sweet potato square pie bites that were life-changing and I'm sad that I'm never going to get to try those again.

This park was so amazing. It's worth the money. I recommend getting there early to be able to enjoy all the park has to offer. The food was great. The ziplines are really fun, I didn't think the were high adrenaline. More like very enjoyable. My favorite activity I think was the Underground Exploration. It combines different activities like walking swimming in the river, hike, obstacles, the slide was super fun. I recommed this park 100% next time I will do Xplor fuego.

One of the best excursions I have ever done! It was amazing. Daniele was a great guide. We were outfitted with life jackets, wet suits, helmets, and walking sticks. We had a place to store our stuff. It was an easy, short walk to cave entrance. The inside of the cave was so neat and interesting to learn about. I felt like an adventurer not a tourist. We had about 90 minutes inside and our own photographer. Afterwards, we were provided towels and changing time. We viewed our photos were we ate lunch. Would highly recommend.

Amazing experience. Everyone was so accommodating from beginning to end. Very informative tour guide. It really made us feel like we were a part of history. It is a strenuous excursion but we did have a person that was unsure of the passages and the tour guide helped her every step of the way. Very much worth the money for excursion. I did feel like the photos were expensive and should have a chance to get all the pics for a better price. Was only able to buy one pic as there were expensive in my opinion and then only sent through email. All in all a great excursion. Live A Great Story!

I love this place. A MUST see if you can. My favorite Virgin Voyage shore excursion. Our guide Mely and our photographer made the Maya experience very memorable for my family. The photos are worth every penny and 100% better than any photos a tourist would take.

Amazing experience. Worth the money paid. If you want to explore and listen to silence while floating in the darkness, then this is the place. A tour that will take you to the woods, caves, and rivers. Once you enter you will be welcomed with smiling faces. The tour guide, David, introduced us to the Mayan culture, and rich information about the nature of the cave and Mexico in general. His English language and his way of conveying the information were excellent. A professional photographer accompanied the group throughout the trip. Thank you Hector for the beautiful photos. The tour included dry cave, bike rides, rappelling, and wet cave tour (plus package). No cell phones allowed during the tour. What you need to bring: - Put on a Comfortable clothing and good quality shoes. - Swimsuit (can be worn underneath your clothing for convenience). - Wet shoes for the wet cave tour. If you wish you can borrow a pair from there, or buy your own for 15 US$. - Change of clothes. - Towels, or you can use the ones provided to you. - Money for tips and photos What is provided by the team: - safety helmets - Safety gloves - Life jacket - Wet suit - Towels - Lockers - Lunch buffet ✅ Positive - the whole experience is magnificent. - Time commitment - Facilities well maintained and clean - Staff are nice and expert. - The audio script during the dry cave tour. ❌ Negative: - I’m not sure that equipment are cleaned between users. Helmets were either dusty or wet. Gloves were wet and stinky. - Did not put on the wet suit, so I’m not sure about its status. - Lunch buffet was not appealing to me. Probably because so many groups have eaten before we did. Did not eat so don’t know about the taste. - Pictures are very expensive. 120 US$ for all photos, or 30 US$ for a single photo.

What a truly special experience. The first part of the tour was a beautiful walk in the dry caves. The geological formations looked so amazing and it was fascinating to know how old these formations were. The next part was more action packed with a fun 1 mile bike ride to a site where we rappelled down a cave and wade in some amazingly clear water. Then we had the main event, the underground waters. These cave systems are so amazing with their formations and the beautiful waters down there. There were some tiny catfish down there, along with some extremely small shrimp. Our guide David was the best giving us the tour and helping us out with anything we needed. Truly an unforgettable experience.

This place is phenomenal!!! I think our guide made it such an amazing experience. However, sadly, I can't remember her name. This place is for those seeking a little bit of adventure. When you meet at the location a van picks you up, and takes you to another area where the adventure begins. You start off walking inside the cave. You put some headphones on to hear about the caves. It's an interesting story. Once you are done with the walking, get ready to ride a bike to the next adventure. Your bike ride takes you to the repelling section. I was a little nervous, but it really wasn't that bad. Afterwards, you bike to the final adventure. You get into the water and follow the river that is inside the cave. Such an amazing experience. Please keep in mind that you cannot take your cellphone for safety reasons. They also sell the pictures. They are a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Super fun and very unique experience. Our 8 year old was nervous especially when the water got deep but our guide let him hold onto his back. The guide Fernando was knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun. Good energy! There was a buffet afterwards with options for everyone. (We appreciated there were vegetarian options!) I had read reviews that the road was a bit like a roller coaster and gave the kids gravol in anticipation. Was glad I did. It was a day we will always remember and was 100% worth it! So glad our family booked and got to experience this!

Excellent place to visit while you visit the Mayan Riviera! The tour takes about 3 hours and they take you deep inside caves/cenotes for a wonderful experience enjoying crystal clear water and cave formations. Water temperature is low but you will get used to it in minutes. They will lend you beach shoes but I recommend you to take your own. They serve food at the end included in your pay rate. Price wise is very good!! The trail is very rocky and uneven so keep in mind you have to be careful. I hope you enjoy it just as much as we did!!

These caves are magical and a must see if visiting southern Mexico. It is one of National Geographic's top 10 places in the world to visit. Our guide was amazing and we felt safe throughout our tour. We traversed through the cave at varying depths, which were mostly knee high. We were equipped with a wet suit, water shoes, a walking stick, a life jacket, and hard hat with a light (all provided on site). There was even a 5 year-old girl on our tour.

The BEST excursion! Beautiful scenery, amazing cavern and river. Our guide, Daniella, made it even better with all of his information about the rainforest. Will definitely go again!

Awesome place and must do 🇲🇽 We get inside with guide that explain us a lot about the creation of the cave and more and it was just really nice. At some point he told us to float inside the water and close our eyes, and then he just close all the flash lights so it will be pitch black. This was one of my best experiences ever and I highly recommend!!!! 🔥 You should definitely add this place to your list 👍 The only thing that bothered me is that they didn't let us go inside with our own cameras and the photos that the photographer took cost 100 dollars. Moreover, when I downloaded all the photos it was completely mess because they are striped of metadata so there is no timestamp in them 😔.

Highly recommend this underground river tour. It was really so interesting and so beautiful our guide Ari was really knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun with him. I didn’t feel scared and we were safe the whole time. I wasn’t really impressed with the lunch they served, but that’s really not why we went on this excursion. It was for the beauty of these underground rivers in Mexico i highly recommend this tour!! You could not bring your camera underground with you so of course so there’s no pictures of that in my review but at the end you could buy a package for $100 or each individual picture for 25 The package is pictures of you that she takes, and all the other pictures that she took down there so when you’re underground with your group and you see the photographer. maybe say “oh take a picture of this over here” because it’s all in the package but if there’s things you see that you want her to take a picture of I would recommend asking her “can you please take a picture of this for me?” but I wouldn’t spend too much time on that but if I’d known I would’ve had her take a picture of a couple really cool things that we saw. We saw a tiny bat hanging and it would have been great to get that pic! Yes, the price is expensive for the package but it’s a once in a lifetime memory and you’ll have no record of it. If you don’t get something … so you could get one picture or you can get the whole package which is what we decided to do.

This was truly an amazing experience. My husband and I booked this through our cruise line while we were docked in Cozumel. Our guide, Inna, was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to everyone in our group. They supply all of your gear, help you feel safe during the entire experience, and take great photos throughout the trip (available for purchase after the tour is over). They have lockers for your belongings, clean restrooms and changing/shower stalls. I would definitely do this again!

An unbelievable journey down an underwater river/cave system. It's worth every penny, totally recommend. I can't wait to go back gain on my next visit to Quintana Roo

Exploring Rio Secreto was hands down the highlight of our one week vacation. We love caves and we love being in the water, what a fantastic way to combine the two. The cave was impressive, with a variety of spectacular formations. We went swimming in a cave. Miguel was a wonderful guide, sharing information about the cave, engaging the group, and giving us information about the terrain. We were there with a group of 9 people, and we were with 6 others on the cave tour, I think all 9 of us would agree that this was one of our best experiences of the whole trip. My 7 year old son had a great experience and he enjoyed it a lot.

What an incredible experience!!!! I’ve been to the Yutican about a half dozen times, but this was the first time I had the opportunity for this tour. I’ve also toured/explored a few caves and cenotes in my life, but none compared to this adventure. The entire tour is spent below the earth exploring the first of three levels of this natural wonder. Our guide, Felipe, was not only knowledgeable, professional and fun but also clearly passionate about the earth and shared his deep respect for its wonders with us. The largest portion of time was spent exploring more open cave systems and shallow waters. When we got to the “turning” point Felipe educated us more in a large open pool area and then had us all shut off our lights for a short duration. The thick black silence was calming and serene but also drove home the point of how difficult cave exploration is. After this point, the waters became deeper and the access ways far more narrow and low. We swam and walked and climbed and ducked our way out. I loved it. The tour was everything I had dared to hope for.

We had the best time with Rio Secreto WILD! Mowgli took us on an all day very physically demanding adventure! He kept us laughing all day. Biking though the jungle was fantastic & the cave system was amazing! We loved feeling like the only ones there. (Not many are up for the biggest tour they offer) we loved it all! The buffet was yummy!

Israel was our tour guide. We absolutely loved our experience in the cave, and even our ferry ride over. We liked Israel a lot, we had an older couple with us, it's a lot of walking and climbing and more difficult for them, and he made sure to put them up front and help them, and go at their pace. We saw bats and fish and just had a great time. Thank you.

Beautiful caves, they take care of the park. Absolutely breathtaking water caves. Our guide Victor, was very knowledgeable and funny. Can be physically challenging, make sure you check what you sign up for as there are different activities. I had lunch here, food is very good. Make sure you bring money for pictures as you are not allowed to bring your phone in.

Rio Secreto provides a mesmerizing underground adventure, unveiling the hidden wonders of nature with captivating limestone formations and crystal-clear waters. The guided tour offers a unique and awe-inspiring experience. However, it's important to note that there's room for improvement in the cleanliness of tools, wetsuits, helmets, and the public restrooms in the reception area. A more meticulous approach to cleanliness would undoubtedly enhance the overall visitor experience.

Imelda was the most amazing tour guide! The culture and history were perfectly explained as we were immersed in it from our first encounter to the absolute very end. Our group was like a little family as we moved from activity to activity, encouraging one another and celebrating the victories of overcoming fears and new challenges. The bike ride was my second favorite activity coming in close being swimming in the caves. The repel and dry cave walk were also amazing. The Mayan house model and permission ceremony were both also very much interesting and we enjoyed them as well. Imelda, thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to experience your culture in such an intimate manner.

My wife and I went on a tour that included Tulum and Rio Secreto, and it was an amazing experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the staff was friendly. The drive to Tulum took about 45 minutes, and we spent 1.5 hours there with some free time in the market. At Rio Secreto, they provided lockers and all the necessary equipment. The adventure wasn’t too tough but required a bit of swimming. After the tour, we went to their restaurant, but the food was below average and cold. It might be better to eat back at your hotel. I had read comments about the photo prices, so I was prepared. I bought one photo for $30, but I skipped the rest, which would have cost $110. Overall, I would rate the experience 8.5/10

Playa del Carmen is to be chosen over Cancun. Though it is filled with tourists certain times of year, if you go out exploring of town there are some wonderful little experiences, sites, and people to enjoy. Walk the southern part of the beach and it is very secluded with virtually no wrinkled old grey fat people to disturb the natural beauty. On the northern part of the beach you may be invited by some friendly local fisherman having a bonfire on the beach to enjoy their recent catch. Definitely take the boat over to Cozumel and rent a motorcycle for the day!

A beautiful park located by the beach. It's bustling with people. There is impressive sculpture, and two different performances alternate regularly. Admission is free, but they may ask for a small donation. Whether you give money or not doesn't matter; the performances are worth watching. There are plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, a boat dock, beautiful beach, and more for sightseeing and enjoyment.

Great park to enjoy the morning vibes or afternoon walks. Lots of space and lots of tourist taking pictures. There are some shows but you just have to be on the lookout since there is not a schedule for them. Local food carta selling fresh fruits.

Nice beach compared to other spots that are very tiny and full of sea weed..this beach is maintained much better. Came early to beat crowds, limited spots of shade but there is some. Beach volleyball courts are there as well.

The environment is peaceful so much to do the views are nice totally recommended it also there's a lot of restaurants around to walk around

Great positive crowd and ambience. Good for a romantic walk down the beach. it gets crowded over the weekend but still is worth going once. And a kind of broad-walk where you have a n number of stores and the ambience around it feels so good. If you are around the area, recommend visiting the place for sure.

If you love mass tourism, this is the place to be! If you don't, better avoid it right away! There is everything you may expect from a restaurant mile over street artists & exhibited jaguar puppies to random drunk folks. Either way, it's crowded! Somehow it's something special to be surrounded by thousands of experiency-lusting foreigners, however, it has nothing to do with a Mexican experience at all.

Beautiful park. They have Mayan shows and activities. The Park is located close to where the Cozumel ferry is located. You have access to the busses near by that goes to other Mexican cities. Definitely recommended to families and everyone

Visited this in Playa del carmen. Its a beautiful sculpture. The beach area seemed crowded with lots of people. We also got to see the mexican traditional dance of the ‘flying men’, which we enjoyed. There’s lots of shops close by. Would recommend this place during your visit to playa del carmen.

That's a vista point of Playa del Carmen and a starting point of a famous walking street Quinta Avenida. Must visit place in PDC to make a scenic photo with a monument, shop for souvenirs and participate in activities during the evening shows.

This public square is full of people, beach volleyball players and local cultural activities. Recommended to visit in the evening.

It was amazing. More than I could have ever imagined. Watched 2 shows ate and drank amazing margaritas .. place worth visiting. Little more expensive than north side road but very welcoming. I spent the day, visited several places. Love it...

Very busy and entertaining during the day with things to do and see. Then at night it becomes very mellow. You just want to sit down with a cold drink and enjoy the breeze of the ocean 🎶 ✨️ 😌.

We stumbled upon the park after walk through the mall, paseo de Carmen. The beach here is nice just like the rest of the áreas. The park has very nice mermaid arch statue and there is a bar and restaurant nearby, right on the beach. A definite must-visit!

Wonderful area. Safe, beautiful and well policed. For the Jazz festival there were so many people, and it had such a good vibe. 10/10

This was great and fun trip! We loved it and enjoyed it! Strongly recommend doing this as an excursion if you are in Mexico! Our tour guide was great and the water felt amazing! This cenote is a MUST SEE! It is mystical and beautiful, and almost completely underground! The stalactites and stalagmites were magical (and musical!) The guide was very knowledgeable and fun, and definitely needed! I would highly recommend a visit here, and get the photo package!

Definitely one of the best cenotes or sinkholes, I highly recommend this experience!!! This requires you to pay for a tour, 800 pesos per person, it's totally worth it. You get to snorkel in the underground cenotes and have a nice time. If you get cold easily, get the wet suit, the water is nice, but 23-24°C , so you might not enjoy it if you can't handle it. I suggest you brought your own beach shoes.

Very nice facility with showers and lockers. Swimming in the cenote was incredible a must-do for anyone visiting. Swimming is easy even for Nam swimmers because they give you a water ski type life vest which allows you to Bob on the surface while you snorkel. The water was perfect temperature, clean and clear. The caves are visually stunning.

Jest amazing, a great experience Swimming and snorkeling through caves millions of years in creation. Words and pictures can't describe how they look and feel, but they are a must do when in the Yucatan. The amazing Mexican lunch afterward was one of the best lunches I have ever had, and I'm a chef. Favorite experience while staying in Playa! Our guide Emmie was professional, informative and patient with my initial apprehension entering these underground waterways. You’ll go into caves, there are bats around but they didn’t come near us and a few (blind) catfish, we didn’t run into anything else so I relaxed quickly. The tour has you walk, wade and swim through clean and silent caverns of mineral water with beautiful stone stalagmites hanging from above. It really was “otherworldly”. Def the unique peaceful nature immersion we were looking for while in Mexico

One of the top vacation experiences of my life and I've had many. I wish I had more time in the caves. Abel our tour guide was awesome and went out of his way to accommodate us. We called ahead of time and let them know we wouldn't arrive until 1 hour after they closed and he still waited for us. He is very knowledgeable about the cenote and used humor here and there to keep us entertained. Even though we were well past closing he gave us the VIP treatment and never rushed us out. The one hour and 40 minute tour went by in a blink. Not only was he our guide but our personal photographer...he took amazing pictures of us and the cenote as we were swimming in the water. What can i say about the cenote...amazingly breath taking...look at the pictures of the caves, it speaks volumes. Don't think about it, just do it, I promise, you won't regret it.

A little chaotic at first, could have been more organized in the beginning. Very beautiful place to visit and the staff was nice and knowledgeable. Shout out to Ceasar, our guide! Must have water shoes and goggles, they have some to borrow if you forget. Great experience!

Absolutely amazing experience!!! The water was cool but crystal clear. The deep parts did not seem deep at all. They give you life jackets and flashlights. They will have everyone turn them off at some point during the tour so you can see how dark the cave is and it's incredible! It's just outside Playa del Carmen by about 15 minutes and it's only $50 a person plus tip and tour is just over an hour long. The guides really do work hard and are very informative about the cenotes and give you a great in depth personal experience. I highly recommend this place.

Although I did not go in, I spent time checking it out before picking up friends. The entrance price is quite high considering there are many other cenotes to choose from. Not suitable for anyone with mild mobility issues, The mosquitoes were plenty and plenty hungry too. Taxi is the only way to get out there by public transport. The cost is anywhere from 600- 800 peso one way. Very expensive. My advice, skip it. Your tourist dollar can do much better.

I had the most incredible experience on this tour. I ended up getting a private tour with Bohish and Paolo. The information that was provided was outstanding. We went slow and I had so much time to explore and swim. I also got a quiet moment for some meditation. The team here is suberb and very friendly. One of the best tours hands down. This Cenote is breathtaking. I was in awe the whole time. Thank you for an incredible experience!

My family of seven liked it. The tour takes you through two caves and swimming through them. We visited on a Tuesday at 11:30 and waited 35 minutes for the next tour to start. We liked the personal history but my kids wanted to do more swimming. Life vest, goggles and water shoes are included. We spent about 2.5 hours there. No cell phones are allowed in the caves or swimming. They sell you the digital photo 1 photo (500 pesos). The staff was friendly, the bathrooms were clean and they accepted credit card.

My friend and I really enjoyed this place!! Highly recommend. They were very professional and organized from start to finish and we felt very comfortable there. The gear was great. At first we were worried about the size of the tour and how many people were with us (about 25), but our guide Angelo handled it beautifully and still made it feel like a private small group experience. He seamlessly switched between Spanish and English, which actually served as a great language learning experience. We also learned so much more than we expected about the cave system and its history. The tour was longer than expected and we went to several different rooms and caves. Very high value for our money. Angelo has a wonderful, welcoming, and personable attitude and we loved our tour with him! :) The caves were gorgeous.

Great experience I highly recommend:) Easy to take a taxi from playa del carmen. Used whatsapp to get taxis number to text when we were done with our tour too. They give you goggles, water shoes, and a life vest. I was pleasantly surprised how much of the tour you get to swim!! Lots of bats, spiders and saw monkeys too. Our guide shared a lot of geographic knowledge and touched on the Mayan cultural beliefs too! We had a blast! I recommend for those that wear glasses to wear contacts for the day, as I had a hard time with the goggles. Also, consider bookin online- there is an option if you book 3 days in advance it can include a pickup and drop. The taxi was $80usd round trip. They also charge an extra $50 for the pictures from the tour (no phone allowed). They arent the best pics, but worth it for the memories. Enjoy your experience!!!

The cave system is really neat. Itself, was a cool experience. The drop in stars is for how the place is run. Disorganized is an understatement. We had a great guide but he was alone with a group of probably 25 people, including many children. He was responsible for handing out equipment (shoes, goggles, life vests, locker keys), and also signing a paper waiver, while other guides that finished their tours walked around. We had to wait for every reservation in our group for their photo shoots at two locations in the tour. It took us 3 hours to do the tour, because moving 25 people and kids with one person providing direction in tight spaces is insane. They need to overhaul their reservation system so that you can see how many are reserved for the time slot you're booking. Otherwise, we would have went at 3pm that had a group of only 4 people.

We had a great time. They provided everything we needed. Julio our guide was very informative and professional. Different than any other tour. Not just, here is the cenote now swim. We spent most of our time underground. A bit spend but It was cool.

It is the best economically and safe way to get to Cozumel. The whole experience from buying the tickets right at the entrance and then boarding the ferry was easy and pleasant. The ride to and from Cozumel was a bit to bumpy but it all depends on the weather. They serve beverages and snacks on board. The ride is about 30-45min. The seats are comfortable and clean bathrooms.

One of the best ferry experiences ever. We opted for First Class, and it was an awesome experience. You can order a drink from the bar onboard, and they will bring it to you while you're sitting in a very comfortable seat enjoying the views. Going over to Cozumel was very rough (stormy day) but was fun rocking around. Coming back 2 days later was smooth sailing.

Make sure you know your times correctly. There are 2 different companies that leave from the same dock.. Wing jet and ultramarine. Don't fall for the scam artists trying to sell up on going to front of the line or other things.. Make sure you for proof that he's and employee which you will see them with a uniform

The ferry to Cozumel is fast and efficient! I suggest buying a one-way ticket as the return trip is every two hours. Also, make sure you buy a ticket from the ticket booth and not the locals that try to sell you a ticket secondhand. In case you forgot, anything for your trip to Cozumel, there is a store with diving supplies, bathing suits and towels, camera gear, and more. There are also a couple places to grab a drink after you pass through security.

Excellent service. Ferry is clean and beautiful, i travelled in business class. i have travelled from playa del carmen to cozumel and back as well from playa del carmen to isla de mujeres. Its always been great. the service is excellent. Snacks are served as well. Its easy to transport baggage as well. Highly recommend it.

The schedule is mainly on time. The fast craft is clean with comfortable seating. The AC always blows cold when inside just like the buses in Mexico. It's a busy route so there's always a queue when getting on board. If you're carrying diving gear bags, they will place them outside on the very front of the fast craft. So far, my diving gear hasn't walked away from me yet.

No complaints.. easy to buy, quick ride over and reason two-way fare at about 500 pesos per person

There's nothing to dislike about this ferry service. The live music mid deck is amazing, the people are fun and spirited, and the trip is often quite smooth and frankly unforgettable. We rode to Cozumel from Playa del Carmen and back on Ultramar and it's one of the best experiences we had on our trip. Especially coming back during sunset...the live music, fun people who were singing and laughing, the smell of the ocean, it was an adventure all it's own. The ferries are clean, seating is comfortable, and the personnel are friendly and helpful. I fell in love with Mexico as a nation during this trip...the ferry ride definitely contributed to the overall experience we had.

Ultramar had absolutely the best service and the fastest . Good sitting places and not so crowded. They have a Starbucks on Board and a separate Bar. Embarkation fast and quick.

Clean and easy to navigate. Buy tickets at the ferry for cheaper prices and don’t get scammed. I have ridden in 20+ times and have never had a bad experience. Cheaper if you are a resident, but they won’t ask you.

Sitting on the back deck with live local musicians was fabulous! Tho inside seating had air conditioning, which is a great option too!

Lovely ferry ride to Cozumel. Cool wind if you want to sit outside or A/C on the inside if it’s hot outside. You can order coffee, alcohol, and other drinks during the trip. The waters were rough but the ferry was not rocking side to side. It felt stable as we cruised over. If you buy online you’ll receive a QR Code and that is your ticket. I took the first ferry of the day @8am to Cozumel and I returned on the last ferry back @9pm. It was very easy to complete and the tickets are valid for 6 months. Very efficient, clean, and enjoyable!

I liked that I could buy the tickets online. I feel everyone in this town is trying to scam you somehow. I understand high prices due to high demand but I don't like long speeches to sell me something. so I'm happy this company has a page and prices open (on entrance there is people who do not let you get to the machines so it's better to buy online they sell them more expensive ) Thank you for the webpage! The difference between first class and normal class is your turn in the queue, your first class queue will go first in, then you can choose the seat you want. After first class queue has entered then it will follow the normal class. So it's similar to just arriving 30 minutes early to get a good place in the queue. I see many low stars complaining that they pay for first class and they didn't even got a seat. If you arrive right when the ferry is about to leave you will not get place because then the normal class has entered in the line and you'll need to go behind them. Even with first class you should arrive at least 10 min before time I really disliked the loud music they had, people screaming in your ear is not something you want to have on a relaxing trip. It was not loud music on my way back so it was perfect.

I did this boat ride the first week of February 2024 from playa del Carmen to cozumel ot was a nice 40 min boat ride i recommend it

Good service to get to Cozumel. Prices are reasonable and they have navy agents selling tickets to get the lines moving. We did purchase first class which had a faster que line to board for better seat selection. We did get to sit at the front of the boat to enjoy the views. It also had air conditioning if you really want it. But was nice to enjoy the 30 minute ride across the beautiful ocean to Cozumel and vice versa.

Boarding was fast, and easy. However, you need to get in there early, at least 30 minutes before to secure good seats. Seating is not assigned. There are first class tickets options. There is great entertainment and open bar in the second deck. Seats on the upper deck (open) go fast. On our way to Cozumel we rode the second deck. Upon the return trip we went to the upper deck. Enjoy the 40 minute ride.

It was alright, my 7 year old lost his marbles and enjoyed it so much! Hard to take pictures if your watching from the outside, meaning you have to spend just as much, if not more, than you paid for the experience to buy pictures! They severely over charge and take advantage of people. I wish they just sold the package with pictures rather than waiting outside the photo building to pic and gather your pictures. A bit of a waste of time, especially at a beautiful place.

Bait and switch. Offered our child a full dolphin package for half price mid way through the day for $55 usd. So definitely don't pay full price. They rushed us through payment and out with the group. Very lame dolphin experience. Half the group got to ride the dolphin which is the one thing our child wanted to experience. She was left out. Lame excuse after that there weren't any of those tickets left, even though there were groups getting in at the same time. Also don't pay for pictures ... you can get great ones from the viewing area. Worst of many dolphin experiences we've had.

Total Scam. Not only is the experience Super rushed but it’s $70 per person to be treated by rude staff and you don’t actually get to swim with the dolphins. We got yelled at because my husband who was in the spectator area (which they intentionally put very far to stop you from getting good shots) tried to take a picture of us in the water. The instructor yelled “not allowed” and cut off my son’s turn with the dolphin short and moved on to the next person. To make things worse they charge $200 dollars for pictures after we already paid a $600 park entrance fee and an additional $300 for the dolphin “swim” experience. Total time in the water was only 15 minutes not the 45 minutes advertised. The park itself is beautiful but go somewhere else for a proper dolphin experience.

Absolutely enjoyed being in Xcaret, and would visit again. We went for a swim with the dolphins, and really enjoyed getting a chance to swim along these amazing creatures. The park requires a bit of walking, and it can be slippery if it rains, so wear comfortable shoes, and bring a change of clothes just in case. I would not take a bus tour to get there, it left WAY too early, had way too many stops since it had to pick up other visitors who purchased the tour. It also leaves the park VERY late, and you won't get back to Cancun until after dark on a VERY uncomfortable and bumpy bus ride.

So desapointed , almost every activity has a cost. Not to mention that they told us that we'll have open bar for food between 12 and 17h . Not at all, you have to chose one restaurant and you got to eat one time , you can't go back either to the same or other restaurant. The installations are nice dough, but I wouldn't pay 180USD for that. I recommend XPlor, or Xavage, it's way better.

Great experience. Remember, in Mexico all prices are negotiable, even in XCaret, including tours and the photo packages.

Me and my wife enjoyed the park very much. When you go, expect a full day, especially if you order from Expedia. Expect to be picked up early in the morning, and the park closes at 9:30 at night. It will be a full day at the park, you can leave early at about 4:00 p.m. if you don't want to go to the show which starts at 7:30 p.m.. if you stay for the show, the show will be about for 2 hours, and it's the best show in Mexico, which gives you the history of how the Mayans came about leading into modern times today. And expect a spectacular ending. Make sure you bring your swimsuits. Take full advantage of all you eat buffets. They have several restaurants everywhere, in addition to gift shops and snack bars. They're all excellent. In addition to a lot of things that you can see and do. So enjoy yourself and have fun. Special note, if you're staying in the hotel and you catch the bus depending on the location the bus ride Maybe quite long. So you may want to bring some snacks for the bus ride. That's due to the ongoing construction they're trying to build up their infrastructure and make it more accessible to everybody. So enjoy and have fun.

This is a once in a lifetime experience and has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. The guides are super friendly and explained everything clearly to us. Once we got down to the enclosure, I could see the two dolphins we would be with, Om and Maya (sp?) sooooo cute! We got to know very briefly the anatomy and how to interact with them. Unfortunately the experienced is very rushed and the ride option is not even 10 seconds. However I am just so happy I got to experience this. We spent 30 minutes in total interacting with them but that includes everyone else taking their turn. The groups are small but need to be smaller to have a better experience. The photos are insanely priced. $200 for ten photos is daylight robbery in my opinion. I know the company don't agree but as a customer, this is my right of opinion. I purchased one photo that was more than enough for me as a souvenir. I suggest the packages are looked into further to reduce the costs.

Fabulous place. It is impossible to do it all in 1 day. It was very expensive but definitely worth it. The sea turtle conservation program is wonderful. Keep in mind it's a lot of walking, so plan your footwear accordingly. Also bring swimwear as there are several opportunities to get wet and cool off.

I, like many others, feel very cheated. We had a chance to do a similar experience with dolphins at our resort, and I regret greatly we didn't do that there. We would have paid $80 for the same thing + swimming with more than one dolphin, 1:1 in a big pool. Here, you pay $200+ a person and you have 15 min with one dolphin in a large group of strangers!! It's a total rip off. I only did it because it was our last day and I promised my daughter the experience. I really wish we did it at our resort instead, it would have been much cheaper and way more enjoyable and exclusive. I also feel ripped off because although they claim kids under 5 get in for free, you still have to pay $200 for them to get into the dolphin experience with you. My resort would have charged me only for my daughter because they were understanding that it was for her but she couldn't go by herself. It's unfair to make the parent pay when I honestly couldn't care less about being part of this, I only did it for my kid. I'm not even gonna mention the photos, because everyone already said how they rip you off on that. But besides that, it is so rude to make the guests stand there for close to 45 min drenched in water in an air conditioned space waiting for them to put the "offer" together. Especially when there are kids. It's simply not polite. Just sell the dolphin package with all photos for $350 to everyone and stop forcing them to waste time and possibly get sick. 👎👎 If you have a chance to do something similar at your resort or elsewhere, do it elsewhere! We trusted that we would have THE BEST experience at this park given its reputation, and we left "the best for last" and ended up extremely disappointed. Even my 4 year old was disappointed with this experience and she was so excited for it. Because she didn't get any one on one time with the dolphin, there were strangers all around in the group, it wasn't an "intimate" experience with a dolphin at all. It was a rip off. She asked me the moment we left after spending $400, when were we going to swim with dolphins "for real". 🤦‍♀️

The grounds are amazing! The food is excellent. You need two weeks to do everything. Room for the kids and a room for the adults. The service also excellent. AMER, LORENA, and ADRIAN gave excellent service. Room service a bit slow, food arrives Luke warm. We recommend to you and will return again.

They charge $110 per person, no matter the age. We came with a 3 and a 4 years old, with a promotion from our car rental. $50 to swim with dolphins. We showed up, had to pay extra $70, just touched the dolphins, didn't swim while other group did. They want $166 for a few pictures that we selected from the bunch or $230 for all pictures or $45 for one picture, printed. What? How can digital pictures cost $230? Just disappointed...dolphins were great tho, but that has nothing to do with the company.

The dolphin experience itself was great! My kids enjoyed it so much, but the prices for the pics are OUTRAGEOUS! I ended up paying $250 just for pics.

Nice church, welcoming to visitors, nice music... Very long sermon though, especially on a very hot day. Not a lot of air movement, no AC.

The Church is opened on Sundays, mass in Spanish is at 12pm. The chapel is on 5th avenue . They are two separate places.

Decided to take the family in town to go to Mass and do some shopping. Beautiful murals and holy images. Homily was excellent and the sound system was clear. I get the strong sense this parish has a large, faithful following, but we were there for 8pm Mass and Holy Hour. Father came out at the end to thank us for coming despite being from the US.

Lovely parish, welcoming atmosphere. Excellent choir 12pm The homily was not too long Wonderful authentic food for sale after Mass. Delicious and welcomed.

This was a fun time for all of us. It was like drama class in high school all over again. We definitely had a very fun interesting time with it. Edgar was very helpful and informative and a pleasure to deal with. Only one thing I'd suggest is to get some bigger nylon socks for us people with size 14 feet. Lol

We really did not expect such a strangely interesting gallery. I don't even know how to describe it. It's a very good feeling, it's like you're in several places at the same time😀. We'll definitely get together and the best recommendations👍

So much fun. Especially if you're sunburned and looking for San indoor activity. Priced just right at around $30 American each. Beautiful art to take great pictures in. We lucked out and a sort of guide was around to help take couples pictures. Tip him. He's super nice. A wonderful memory to have of this place. Definitely worth the time to see.

There is someone that will guide you through the exhibit and show you which angle/how you can take the pictures. There are so many different things. You will get all the illusion images you need since there are around 30-40 different stations. We went there later in the day before it closed so it was a very 1 on 1 personalized experience. And we even got a discount for paying cash. Highly recommended, hidden gem.

The 3D Museum was so much fun! Better than I expected or even anticipated. The hosts were kind and very accessible to guest. There are plenty of tips to help you capture the best pics, but I recommend if you see a background you love then ask for assistance to get the quality and unique photo you desire! I suggest you change your camera settings to 3:4 for the best 3D effects. My setting was for full photo and you don't capture the full awesomeness until you do 3:4. To avoid ruining your experience I only posted 3 of my favorite photos! Family or couple friendly!

It was an interesting smaller museum, can be done in under an hour if they are not to many people. You come some great 3d effects and some not so much. You will have some good pictures for Instagram, Facebook, or whatever you POST ON!!!

What a fantastic museum! Hector was kind enough to take some wonderfully fun pictures of us. We could stay as long as we wanted. Great time using our imaginations!

Wonderful experience. You can be creative with poses and interaction with each portrait. Many are faded, so will need to edit pictures if before they renew the scenery.

Very unique concept but it’s more of 2 rooms installed with art to take pictures with. It’s not a museum. For $110 USD we got 2 adult tickets and 1 child. We stayed less than 30 minutes after taking a few pictures. I will note that the staff were nice. It’s half priced on Sunday.

Amazing experience, not only was it a great way to get a break from the heat but also a nice way to enjoy more than just AC when stepping in off the strip, beautiful portraits and paintings with a cool visual twist, took over a hundred photos while in here, the staff was incredibly kind and even taught my wife and I how to properly take the photos for the full effect, extending that to taking some photos with both of us where we’d otherwise be unable to use our own phone and both be in it! 10/10 must see while in Playa

My girlfriend and I had the most wonderful experience at the 3D Museum of Wonders this week! The staff was amazing in helping us understand the concept by explaining the process and then leading us through a few of the poses and photo shots in order to capture the most incredible effects all throughout the gallery. Yesenia even went further by spending time with us and making our photos look so realistic and professional making the whole experience fun and fantastic…. She was so friendly, enthusiastic, and professional while giving us license to channel our childlike spirit throughout the entire photo shoot! We were so impressed by all the beautiful artwork and the technology that allowed us to step into world of so many famous masterpieces! Thank you so much 3D Museum of Wonders for giving us a most enjoyable and fun filled day in Playa del Carmen!

My 9 y/o son and I went and had a great time. They show you how to take the pictures and even took some for us so we could be in them together. It was very quite, not a lot of people( we went around 3ish on a Wednesday), the music was a nice level and air conditioning. If you or your kids have sensory issues this place is great to visit.

Beautiful spot with 2 cenotes and ziplines set up. One cenote is partially open, and the other is fully open. We saw fish and turtles in the water. There were 3 ziplines, with the third one being high above the canopy of the jungle. It was an amazing view and thrilling experience. The staff that worked here was careful and caring to ensure that we had a safe and enjoyable experience.

Went here for cavern diving. Beautiful place, more quiet and peaceful than many other cenotes nearby. Was beautiful, many collapses in the cavern and has lots of beautiful eroded limestone, but less good for light effects and stalagmites than some of the other cenotes. Easy dive, not too deep. Never that far from an opening, so probably good for newer divers nervous to do cavern diving. Rainbow effect by the rainbow cenotes was definitely a unique thing to see for divers though, would still suggest the trip as worth going.

What an amazing experience. To scuba in these caverns was a once a lift experience that everyone should check off the list. Huge advantage going this time of year was very few people in fact me and the dive master were the only ones in there. It added to the peacefulness of the dive. Amazing! Amazing! So far...my Favorite!!!! Loved the hammocks everywhere even in the little islands of round rock. All the plants, palms, ferns!!! Saw lots of fish in this one. Hand size. Looked like some kind of tetra! Loved their large fins!! Love the way everything evolves around nature!! Iguanas everywhere. Birds and raccoon looking animals!!! Love the way all things sharing!!!

This place is nice. Were weren’t coming to this place but decide to ask and said they had 3. And the prices were not high at all 250 pesos for Mexican residents and 350 pesos for us citizens I think. The cenotes were not big but were a decent size the good thing is not crowded. The water was really cold it was clear and beautiful u could see everything under there was one cenote were u could scuba dive u could see were they were coming out a cave underneath the water. They had another one but that was closed because it was dirty. And there was another they had it’s wasn’t the cleanest but the reason why it was opened were trees are all around the cenote so there leaves inside the water and some green stuff on the water that makes the water look not to nice as the other one we saw. U will see the difference but like I said the reason why. U could take drinks , food no alcohol. Not at the actual cenote theres a place were u could eat and leave ur stuff. They have no lockers so if u go u have to take ur valuable stuff with u. So if u have a phone or other things take someone and switch around to take care each others stuff. While u go to inside the water Other than that great experience and friendly staff.

Less popular sister of the next door Kantun Chi, smaller but still gorgeous. The ticket is also cheaper, but it has less cenotes so if it's the first one you're visiting and you have to pick one, go to the other one. There's one open cenote and a few underground ones. They rent life jackets at the entrance for an extra, but no snorkeling equipment due to covid. Fish here is unremarkable anyway, but I spotted a few adorable tiny turtles and fish that didn't particularly like me and convinced me that swimming wasn't the case that day. Lots of birds and obviously iguanas silently judging you from afar. WATER SHOES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It's **slippery**

Great place for swimming chilling and also cavern and cave dives.

I’ve been here with a guide to snorkel and spectate some cenotes. Was an amazing adventure as I didn’t know what to expect. Cenotes are basically naturally formed sinkholes and consist off only rainwater. All the cenotes in the whole area are connected through underground rivers and the water moves really slowly. The ones we’ve been snorkeling in were really different. One was in a cave and the view was limited, felt sometimes spooky. There was also a rope to escort you to the end off the cave if your not an excellent swimmer (including life vest for everyone). There is a really dark deep hole you can scuba dive through all the way to an another cenote somewhere in the park (12-20m deep and dark) The one on the pictures is partly open, partly in a cave. It’s around 15m deep and can be used to scuba dive as well. Not really exciting and the open area can get dirty sometimes because the moss and leafs in it. Overal good experience!

This is an excellent cenote for diving: easy (no narrow passages), shallow (you can go to 14m, but most is about 8-10m), and beautiful. Snorkeling is probably not too hot, and there is not much to do if you are not diving. Split your party, and leave the non divers on a beach, or at some attractions and enjoy!

They speak comforting words but it does not seem humane at all. The "lagoon" is basically a large pool, only 85% are born there contrary to what our concierge said. We bought a waterproof phone case at their shop that was not allowed to be used so we could spend almost $400 on their professional photographs ( we did not buy them). After we finished we waited 45 minutes for the next shuttle. The dolphins were beautiful though, the staff were very friendly. I would never go back and never recommend, my apologies!

This experience was one to remember. Jessica was the trainer that took care of us & she was amazing! She was easy to talk to, answered all questions, & got us super comfortable around the dolphins. We got to meet Yumil & Kazihil the dolphins. If you’re ever considering visiting Delphinus Riviera Maya, please do so! You will not regret it!

Very beautiful and calm environment. The dolphins are very well taken care of. I decided to do this last minute as my son was too nervous. After instruction from the employees there it put him at ease, and we had an amazing experience. Yes, they ask for additional money for photos after but they were actually really well done and great quality. Absolutely recommend!

Wow!! Scandalous prices for photos!! It cost $326 just for the photos... Shocking! Left the dolphin park feeling ripped-off. The excuses given where not associated to my family or the experience. First excuse: other dolphin parks are more expensive. Just because others are expensive doesn't mean you have to follow. Second Excuse: we donate money to other charities and programs for kids. You are not responsible for my morale decisions to help others out. I am well capable of making that decision for myself. If you do care about these programs, keep them apart and ask people to donate separately. Third excuse: We have a team of professional photographers with expensive equipment. How you wish to set yourself up professionally is your responsibility. I am sure your return of investment has been well met. Some of the negative reviews about the photos go years back. Fourth excuse: we had other packages to choose from. They WERE NOT CHEAP EITHER! either that or leave with nothing. And I am sure if I stayed longer I would have been given more! As a parent you try and give you kids the best experience possible. It was a costly memory. I felt these people believe if you have the money to pay to visit Riviera Maya and Dolphin parks well you have the money to pay extortionate prices for memories. I am speechless,,,😱

What an amazing experience for me my husband and two children. I liked the essential safety talk/video with the do's and do not's, which lasted 10/15mins. The foot push was out of this world!. My youngest is autistic and can not swim without touching the floor. There is a platform in the water to stand on for non swimmers to experience the dolphin, but any foot push / ride the fin is carried out in deeper water. Snorkeling with the dolphin's at the end of the session was a dream come true. The only con I couĺd address, was the cost of the pictures, it burnt a hole in our pocket. We'll worth every penny of memories thou. Ty. 😘

We booked the "Supreme Primax Experience" (that has 18 activities with dolphins) and a transfer. The pickup is excellent/handy and I can recommend it. When we showed our tickets to the cashier the first thing she asked was if we want to do a dolphin pull (you hold the dolphin and it drags you in the water) for an extra $25,- per person.We thought that this package had everything but this was not the case, we did not want to pay the extra $25 so we declined. The cashier kept pushing for a while and we did not like that.The dolphin swim itself was nice and they take the time for you to spend time with the dolphins.The thing that we did not liked was the many times that the dolphins had to do the same things (waving, turning around splash etc) over and over again. we did like the free swimming time, that was very nice. After we finished we were brought to an television screen were you can watch the photo's/film that they made of your swim. The prices they ask for this are ridiculous, for 12 photo's you pay around $265,- and for everything plus an photo-book you pay over $400,-. Due the prices of the photo's and the pushing from the cashier to take extra activities it looses the magic a bit and you realize that this is a money machine and you wonder if the dolphins are here in a good place. We did more dolphin swims around the globe and you can sense when a dolphin is really interacting with you, unfortunately we did not feel it this time and we think it is because they have to do to much all the time and are perhaps a little bit stressed.

Had a great experience with the dolphins. We learned a lot about dolphins and the conservation efforts. The staff were friendly and the trainers were very knowledgeable. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is they wanted to charge $200+ USD for 10 DIGITAL pictures. It felt way too steep, so we declined. We wanted pictures but could not justify the price. Would recommend to anyone, just be prepared and maybe have someone take their own pictures if they allow it.

There is a lot of sitting around (out of the water). It was about 30 minutes of watching videos on a screen before being able to get in the water. You cannot bring your phone for pictures. The cheapest photo package is one photo and it is more than $50USD. Edit: The owners response to my review stated we didn’t go to the photo area. We did. That’s how we reviewed our photos and were made aware of the prices. After we were done we had to wait in this pavilion (see picture) for 45 minutes before the Delphinus transport would take us back to the hotel. I assume so that you spend more time in their gift shop or photo area. Their exchange rate at their box office was not correct with the current exchange rate.

Such a rip off. The experience itself was expensive, especially since kids can't go without parents. They won't let you take your own camera, and then they wanted $309 USD just for our photos, which they do not tell you up front. I've never heard of such a thing! A single photo was $45, and none of the prices are what they say they will be in print -- everything is negotiated. My daughter needed to urgently go to the bathroom and missed some of the interactions, and they did not fill us in. There are supposed to be max 10 people per group, and ours had 11, so my little girl couldn't see at times from the platform, crowded behind everyone. Would not repeat this activity at this place.

I ran into issues and ask to speak to a management. Carlos the manager came and I stressed the issue to him. And right away he fixed the issue without my getting more upset nor letting him know that I was a travel agent tryna gain experience before recommending any of my clients there. Carlos was so nice and respectful. He went out his way to help us and make sure everything went well after the issue. Thank you so much Carlos for making this experience memorable and fun!!!!!!😃

Fantastic experience for all the family. We pre-booked the Supreme package x4 in advance of our visit which included an online booking discount. On the day the organisation couldn't have been smoother even with a slightly nervous member of the party. We received all the info required before the actual experience. The interaction with our dolphin 'Kissin' was amazing with all the activities highlighted in the package, which included over 15 mins of actual swimming with a mother and daughter pair afterwards. We spent a good hour in the water altogether. We all felt that the environment was very positive for the dolphins. The package for the pictures is expensive...but the pictures are fantastic. A highly recommended, one off experience! Lockers and towels provided. No cameras allowed.

Very expensive place. You go as a group u will touch a dolphin few times maybe in total for a 3 minutes (i was there for 35 minutes but most of the time they just tell you what to do there to stand and it goes to everyone in a group) and at the end the pictures is 300$ us ,one print picture is 45$ (no digital copy)us and you can't take a phone with you.

The trainers are very good with the dolphins. Went to this not expecting it to be as good as Discovery cove in Orlando. But it definitely was. Got plenty of time with the dolphins. For a fraction of the cost.

Great course very well maintained. I went in October and the weather was perfect. Plenty of sun and some wind. Some narrow holes but very forgiving and fun. Video attached to illustrate the course conditions and the narrow factor of some holes (take it easy on my swing). Pro tip: be on the lookout for the raccoon looking animals, and don’t put any food inside of your bag (or purse). Those things will hijack your cart and snatch your food! They stole my barely touched burrito on hole 8 or 9. If there’s food in a purse or bag, they’re taking that bag into the trees!

What an extraordinary place to play golf, greens, staff and the Rentals Titleist AP1's ppfff crazyy!!! This is the best course that anybody can play in Mexico!!!

We just got back from here. Golfed a total of 9 rounds over 6 days. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews. This was an excellent golf club/course. (It might have just been the timing of our visit). The staff are really nice and professional. The people in the starter/finishing area are very nice. They cleaned our clubs each day and we stored them at the course (which was a lot easier than lugging them around to and from our rooms). Cart came around around every 3 or 4 holes. The course was very well maintained and the greens rolled true. I would say this wasn’t that challenging of a course. It wasn’t so tight that it was punishing and water didn’t come into play that much. Length was good. If you do not keep it in play. You can sometimes find your ball but you have to hit it off the gravel, which might or might not be okay for the wear and tear of your clubs. You definitely need to keep your ball in play at this course. The jungle is often to thick to try to look for your ball. The course is right beside the shopping mall with really good tacos. You could walk there for lunch. If you’re planning on golfing a lot. There are 3 and 5 game packages. I didn’t know there was one, we would have only saved a bit anyways.

Specifically reviewing golf as did not stay on resort. Nice layout with lots of tee options (long off the back plates, which I left alone). Seriously undulating fairways and changes of elevation make it a real challenge especially as it’s heavily bunkered also. Some stunning holes that live long in the memory and make you want to come back…… but I won’t. Just too expensive for what it is. 18 holes $230. Club rental another $85 (average set of PXGs). First chose to buy a sleeve of TP5s in the shop ~ another $45 (can get a dozen at home for that). Backed out and bought cheaper alternative (and then some more “pre-loved” from one of the groundskeepers). $70 on taxi to get there and back as the resort won’t pick up a single player (will for 3 or 4 - ok I kinda get that)……. Another great memory in life. Staying at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso and had to throw some golf in. With being an on site course we were skeptical but wow. Reasonably priced. Great challenge course. Narrow and topography everywhere. If you golf like me make sure you bring plenty of balls. During play we’re had Lemur, peacock, and iguana everywhere. Got a bit warm as play went on but thankful for the beer cart being there when needed. Did I mention it’s included. If you enjoy golf it’s a must.

This is the nicest and hardest golf course I have ever played , the course is in spectacular shape , ball placement is key here ! Greens can be really tough! All in all it was a surreal experience !

We spent 7 nights at Iberostar Paraiso Beach resort. The all inclusive meals were pretty good, buffets are amazing, the Italian restaurant was horrible though. The pool was really busy and it was hard to find good spots most days. The pool bartenders are quite grumpy. The nightly entertainment was amazing, we really enjoyed the folk dancers, circus show, disco night and magic show. Nightly Bingo Bongo was pretty fun too. All in all it was a great trip and if it weren’t for the few negatives the resort could be 5 star.

Very nice course , extremely good condition , tough greens . Nice fareways but never flat shot . Be ready 😉 I was lucky enough to play the first holes under the rain !

Amazing course all around, conditions were great, greens were fantastic nd I would definitely play again. One of the better courses for sure.

Customer service is terrible.. I was trying to seat at the upper story sections but they kicked me out and I had to travel inside cabin getting dezy and wanted trough out because the smell... I came to see the Ocean and breath the air not the AC.. I am glad the there are more options...
