Very nice and spacious. Ruins are preserved quite well and the views of the water and beach below are stunning. There are a few nicely cut out viewpoints for the ultimate photos. Oh! And many awesome iguanas posing for your photos and walking around minding their business. Great way to spend part of your day. ( there’s also guides around if you want the true historical tour )

Interesting stop as part of a tour. Suggest a hard pass unless you find viewing the ruins a must see. Non stop vendors enticing you to stop for pics with monkeys, iguanas, or parrots. Oh, and don't forget the excruciating heat. Bring water, a fan and a quick ride back.

This place is awesome. Step back in time to a different life. The tour guide’s are so knowledgeable and each one tells a little different story. The views are so beautiful. The beach was wonderful. We spent about an hour and a half walking around the ruins.

A small set of ruins set up high on cliffs that provide a beautiful and dramatic view of the gulf. Stairs down to the beach are inaccessible now though. Absolutely worth a visit you can walk the entire complex in about 45 minutes maybe an hour if crowded. Several large buildings are very impressive though you cannot go into anything everything is at a distance. It will take longer to get in though. You absolutely want a local driver or a tour as there are multiple entrances and the rules change on a whim. Also expect a search of your vehicle by armed security or army. We went via private vehicle with a local driver (shout out to Edgar) who navigated everything for us with no issues but would have been lost on our own even with decent Spanish. You purchase tickets at a small trailer and then take them to the entrance line. While they say credit cards are ok I recommend pesos or dollars. In my opinion you do not need a tour guide at the site. Everything has placards in Spanish and English and most of the guides were just repeating what they said. Many wonderful photo opportunities. Pack water and use the restroom before you arrive as it will be dreadful hot/humid and there are no concessions bathrooms or souvenir shops anywhere on site. There are beaches outside the ruins that you can access separately, and nearby on the main road is a large tourist area with restaurants and shops.

A lovely set of ruins but with a few drawback to the experience. The ruins are impressive and the site itself well maintained. If you have a guide they will explain the history and point out some of the interesting architectural delights that is part of the Mayan ruins. Some of the sculptures are well maintained. To keep everything well maintained, the key buildings are roped off (only the local lizards can pass). That goes double for the local beach which is beautiful but inaccessible. One of the main reasons is the rubbish that littered it so beware that you won't be able to bring plastic bottles into the site. There's not much shade so bring a hat but the tour we were on wasn't that long. Outside the site, you'll find they are building a nice pathway to the ruins and there may be a wait to gain access. Where the car park is you'll find also the usual tourist shops, an original Mayan Starbucks and Hagan Dazs. It's probably best to come with a tour group just from a transport perspective as it doesn't look very accessible to those without the local knowledge. Still the ruins are impressive and it's a good half day out. Just was expecting a little more.

Tulum was beautiful. We visited as part of a tour and we think that is the best way to go if you want to learn more about the history. It is a popular attraction. I recommend going as early as you can to avoid crowds. Also note that it’s very hot and a bit of a walk. So wear a hat and comfortable walking shoes - I did neither and that is my only regret.

Absolutely Fabulous, definitely a gorgeous historical site. If you care about the history I'd recommend reading up on it before visiting. The guides are well educated but they each decide which buildings and stories/histories to highlight so the more you know in advance the better. Bring plenty of water and an umbrella if possible. It was scorching in the beginning of our August visit. Requires about 15 of walking to get there and the grounds are not that big but wear comfy shoes. We were there for about an hour. Strongly suggest going and seeing the overlook of the Beach. The ground is uneven but it's easy as long as you don't have mobility issues.

Amazing place! Anyone who loves history, must come see this. Pay for the tour guide at the entrance. Every building, road, sign, picture, just about every stone has meaning behind it. It is just great to have someone tell you and story and meaning behind it.

I loved this place, which is very small, perfect to do two different activities in the rest of the day. My recommendation is to take a guided trip. You will understand and appreciate more the ruins if you know the maya history.

There are several things to consider, but those will depend whether you hired a tour previously or not, because there’s a parking fee, an access fee, and a tour guide (optional). I strongly recommend to use sunscreen, mosquito repelant, bring water and maybe an umbrella for those who burn easily.

We took the Tulum Express tour, and it was nice with direct hotel pick up and drop off. It was nice because we got to go and still have 1/2 the day. The view of the ocean and turquoise water is amazing!! We came early and it was already hot and didn't have to wait to get in, but as we left the line was almost a mile long to get in and was very warm. I recommend bringing lots of water, use the umbrella, and go early. It's worth the trip.

Very scenic. Crowded with street vendors at the parking lot entrance. Best with a guide for the facts on what you are looking. Federal property with tons of rules and authorizes on site enforcing them. Easy to stay on pathways and easy to navigate.

Great time. The tour of the ruins and the boat tour of the ruins was great. Advice: Don't bring plastic water bottles or you will have no water.

The place is spectacular... First there's a 500m walk before entrance you can choose to take the "train" (a bus jungle styled) for 25 pesos round way. Even arriving early in the morning there's a lot of people but it doesn't take much time to get in. Theres a temperature check before tickets, then tickets which is not too crowded since most people have it in advance, and then the ticket check and you're in. You should take the tour following you're left side all the time, since this one will take you up to the breathtaking ocean views and you'll get to explore the whole place. It says is stroller friendly, it is not. You can so a smaller tour if in wheelchair or with a stroller without getting up up near the ruins. Outside you can find souvenir shops, restaurants and shops, shops, shops. Also people with costumes and some art to take pictures with. A must visit when in Tulum !

To get the tickets 🎟️ you can buy them at the entrance for 85 pesos, there is also an option with a guide tour for 200 💸(I suggest that one - you avoid the long line). Purchase the water in the bookstore before to get in 💧you will need it. All the info ℹ️ an map 🗺️ can be found in the QR at the entrance. 🌂 Take a umbrella with you if possible to protect yourself from the sun ☀️. The ruins are next to the beach 🏖️ so the view is amazing. 🚶🏼‍♀️Near by you can access the Santa Fe Tulum beach 🌊 I got there walking from the ruins. Hope you find this useful ❤️

This place is amazing!! You really need a guided tour to explain all the history you are seeing! But it is a very long walk to get them and then a lot of walking inside so may not be great for anyone with children who can't walk all of that.

The view from the top of the plateau and the dramatic coastal landscape was more impressive than the ruins themselves. It’s worth a day trip from Cancun but I wouldn’t stay longer than a couple hours 👍

The ruins are gorgeous! If you're going to go into the park with a GoPro they will ask that you pay an additional fee to the park. I believe it was like 20 pesos or something? Not super expensive! I so highly recommend going here, it is breathtaking.

Great experience long wait to get in but they are making a lot of improvements. Hopefully, that will remedy the situation. I think the main problem was all people with tickers were in a very long line, and those without walked past us to go to the front to buy tickets, then just merging into the line in front of us.

Fantastic ruins of the Mayan people! Great tours are available that explain what each of the buildings are. More places are being excavated and the understanding of the culture keeps improving! I highly, recommend if you love learning about history

Definitely a very nice place to go. Located in a nice, cozy cove, this place is great to go to with a tour guide. Price is right on, and the wait is a bit hot but bearable. The whole experience, though, is very hot and warm. Additionally, they don’t allow plastic water bottles to cool off. Overall, very nice place to learn and explore Mayan history.

Archeological park definitely worth the visit. It should be around 530 Mexican pesos. You pay a surcharge if you want to use professional cameras. All around it is full of souvenir shops. The park is beautiful, as well as the ruins. The atmosphere recreated is really engaging. Better to go with a tour guide, or hire one on the spot.

This was an awesome adventure to vist this world renowned archaeological site. It is just a short ferry ride and then drive to Tulum. It is definitely worth seeing. Remember it is hot here most of the year so stay hydrated. The staff here are very nice and professional and there is plenty of shopping at the entrance to the site.

A must see site in the region. It takes about an hour to explore the ruins. Please be aware that plastic bottles are not allowed inside. There is very little shade. Please come prepared.

Amazing, beautiful and lovely to see! Not as accessible as it could be. Ticket sales are annoying. Arrive on site, pay to park if needed (probably same cost as a taxi from town to the site). Pay a national park fee at a side booth. Go through security entrance. Walk a ways. Pay for an entrance ticket. Walk a ways. Hand your ticket over. Walk a ways. Explore the grounds up and down several stairs and slopes. We went without a guide, pausing near tour groups to hear info as we wanted. Loved seeing the amazing turquoise waters below the cliff side citadel and iguanas everywhere.

Lovely Cenote with two areas to jump in the water. To explore more you need to dive or pay for a guided snorkel tour, the tour looks a bit overpriced and doesn’t have good reviews.

Such a great experience! Beautiful water with a swing to get into the water. Perfect temperature with some fish and the caves pockets had some baby bats too. Just an awesome way to spend a day!

Did Dos Ojos, Jaguar and Nicte-Ha, thought the second eye on Dos Ojos was the most amazing! The three cenote combo was 600p power person but totally with it. We did it by ourselves, which means we were limited on what we could see. NOT an issue on the second eye, first eye was more limited. Next time we would get a guide, but even without it was amazing.

I’ve been living here for longer time and I can tell you that visiting all of those cenotes in the camp it is definitely the best experience of this type.

Large park area with two cenotes (eye 1 and eye 2). Both are half open, go on a sunny day, the view of the sun rays hitting the water is just amazing. Eye 2 is bigger and more interesting. Entry ticket to both cenotes is 350 pesos (better to pay in pesos). Water is very fresh and cenotes are beautiful. You have changing rooms, showers and toilets available. For adventurous people, you can go diving with a guide. Or you can use your snorkel and enjoy. Life jacket is mandatory. We arrived around 9:30-10, there were only a few people, it started to get crowded when we left around noon. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Excellent experience. You can get a guide and go down under for $800 or just swim and explore for $400. We did the e explore and enjoyed fully.

Amazing place, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

One of the two e-ticket rides of Tulum. $350 MXN per person (pay in pesos as their exchange rate is bad and will save you $2 or $3 if you do so) includes a life vest and a wristband into the 2-eyes cenote. I wouldn't go on a weekend. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was fairly crowded. It is a short walk from the parking lot to the showers and bathrooms, and a short walk to eye 1 and eye 2. You can swim through a large portion of eye 2. Eye 2 was my favorite. Also, try to get a snorkel if you like snorkeling / bring one from home. It is absolutely fabulous.

Wasn’t very convinced by the pictures but so glad I went. Two beautiful cenotes, lovely experience overall. 1h - 1.5hrs in total. Water is beautiful, not cold, experience is straightforward. You only need a guide if you want to do some proper diving.

Both cenotes are good, the price was listed at 350 pesos on the website but once there we were told it was 400 per pesos for the basic entry, this includes you safety vest and that’s it. If you want a guided tour that will run you 800 pesos a person which includes the snorkel gear, fins and the guided tour, beware if you don’t have a car you will have to walk 3 kilometers to the cenote or if the taxi is available they will charge you 50 pesos per person, each way, all and all it was fun , but overpriced..not worth the 800 pesos we paid.

My first cenote scuba dive but I was overblown by the beauty of this place. We had bought a dive package from A' HA' Scuba Diving that included everything. As we arrived pretty early we had the first dive to ourselves and it was magical. Our guide took us slowly around and made sure we saw as much as we could. Water temp was around 25c and we were never below 10m of depth making this a great cenote for both beginner as much as more experienced divers.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. My wife and I loved every minute of it. Words cannot accurately describe it. Before you go, know that the cenotes are a couple of kilometers from the highway. You can get transport from there, but it's 50 pesos per person. My one criticism of the experience is that it should be made apparent that there really is no open air cenote. Some people have posted pics of open air cenotes, but that is NOT dos Ojos. It's another cenote down the road called Jaguar. If you don't do the guided tour I think your experience will be underwhelming. Some of the people in our group opted out of the tour due to physical limitations. Consequently their experience was not great. If you do the tour, it's 10/10. If not, you could find it just ok, or even a bit disappointing.

Great cenote dives. Just there could be more tables for divers to change / set up their gear. A rinsing station would be nice.

Definitely cool and worth seeing, although I wonder if similar experiences could be had cheaper. $400MXN per person for access to the site.

Good place to go for the beach it’s clean and A day bed with a table and umbrella will cost 300-500Pesos depending on the season the beach is pretty clean here but be wary of the restaurant they have a service fee added to your bill which takes the place of a tip but all the waiters will want a tip no tip bad service

Beautiful water and sand. The Go Snorkeling was beautiful with clear water. Got to hang for the day and walk to different beaches and the ruins from here.

Great experience!! Beautiful beach with so much to do

A really nice beach located north of the Hotel Zone in Tulum. Parking is first-come-first-serve along a narrow beach lane so unless you show up early you'll probably need to pay around 100 MXN plus tip to a beach club attendant to be able to park. The beach itself is gorgeous and free to enter, if you choose there are chairs and sun loungers you can rent from a beach club, they are 100-200 pesos per day. Drinks are very reasonable, and tasty. The pina colada was the best I had in Quintana Roo. The water is nice though some sargasso is present and you'll notice it but it's not bad at all. The beach is swept of sargasso on regular basis, but you'll still notice some in the sand. Came back here for three days in a row, I guess we liked it.

Completely filled with sargazo, no cleaning, horrible smell. No sign of paradise at all. This is Paraiso for the owners of hotels and beach clubs with the prices they give taking into account very poor condition of the sea and the beach. Shame!

We had an awesome time. Parking wasn’t too bad nor expensive, there was plenty of parking available. The line to get to the beach was long ~45 min in the car waiting. @the beach we were approached to do a private or group snorkeling session and we chose the private for $~135 USD, we have never snorkeled before and weren’t really given directions, just told to follow the guide but we caught on quickly. It was awesome to see the turtles and sting rays. I wish we had a GoPro but unfortunately we didn’t, but if you do you’ll get some great footage. The food was a really good price, we got a mixture which was filet mingnon, shrimp, lobster and veggies for ~$40 (that being said do NOT go to Parole restaurant they wanted $200 for a small lobster tail)

One of my favorite beaches in Tulum. Lots of restaurants to eat at and hang out at the beach. They offer parking, $200 pesos.

Nice beach but seaweed/sargassum makes it dirty and stinky. Riff in about 2 min by boat where you can find not colorful corals but swim with sea turtles and manta rays. No showers or changers at the beach

It is used to be a beautiful Caribbean beach around 5 years ago. Now it is spoiled with sargassum. Apart from nature problems, in beach clubs like everywhere in Tulum tourists are seen as bags with money. Everything is overpriced and they try to scam you all time. The beach can be accessed with your own car , by scooter or bike. Even though it is a state natural reserve they are only private parkings that charge you 250 or 300 pesos a day. If you come by taxi be prepared to pay a fortune to go back. There is no bus or any ither public transportation. You are left with no choice. From February and till end of summer it is full of sargassum and no one cares to clean it. It is a pity that all private beach clubs and hotels do not take care of the beach and just use nature to put their business. I hope people will realize it and stop going for locals finally to realize that they are in charge of providing conditions for tourist. Tons of sargassum do not even let you approach the water. Instead of cleaning it , they came up with idea of taking you 50 meters away from the shore by boat for you to be able to enter the water. Xpu ha beach is much nicer experience.

The best beach I’ve visited in the area. Even in winter season you can enjoying visit it. We were into a beach club with live music and amazing food but you can visit it for free. Just remember carry on your own drinks 🍺 and food 🥘 is a touristic place and for that reason the prices are highest.

Beautiful beach, we went twice during our trip. The walk up and down the beach is beautiful and you can see ruins from the water.

A really lovely beach but you need to wait in line for the queue to enter and pay for the “national park” that the beach sits under. The queue can take as long as 45 mins and they only take exact cash (no change given) or card. The amount is 60.50 pesos which is not a lot but the queue can be long. It’s not a beach you can just turn up to. Parking is also 150 pesos.

I really liked this beach club. Clean, attentive staff. The territory has everything you need for a great holiday. I recommend. The beach is clean without algae.

The beach is beautiful! The reason for three stars is that businesses have grabbed and exploited this beautiful area. Unfortunately, the local businesses charge to park your vehicle, and charge a minimum "consumption fee" to stay on "their" beach. Overall, prices are excessive for beverages and food!

Indeed a lovely beach. Located in the Tulum natural park is a semi wild beach with beautiful sand, shallow water and reef barrier good for snorkeling

Had a great time with the whole family. Kids loved the inflatables on the water and the food was yummy. Service was great!! Ask for Omar - so much fun and can’t wait to come back.

Overpriced, overcrowded, underwhelming: no changing rooms, you have to change clothes in a dirty toilet without shelves, no towels. Tourist trap. Go to Akumal, pay a fraction and see more. This here is just an empty cool pond.

MXN 500,- per person, MXN 250,- per child. MUST wear swimwest & shower (incl. hair) before swimming in the cenote. you can see turtles there. feel sorry for them bc of the overtourism which infects their habitat :-/ the ppl, who work there are very unfriendly and not helpful.

Beautiful cenote. Worth it for the wildlife alone! So many turtles and fish and bats and birds. We’re able to swim so close to the turtles. Beautiful. There was a line waiting when they opened. It’s a busy one so get there early. Open 8:10am-4:45pm 300 pesos or $15 USD Includes a life vest

Swimming with the turtles was more fun for adults and scared the little patooties around. The place is magical like you entered a different dimension! The entrance fee was very affordable too! We drove 2 hours from Cancun to Tulum and also paid a visit to this most talked-about Cenote.

At 500 pesos, very overpriced for what it is. We spend about 2 hours here, snorkeling, laying on the grass and taking some pictures. Beware that if you want to use their snorkeling equipment, you will need to leave your ID with them or a very big deposit. You can reach this place by bike from Tulum, the road is not that bad.

Amazing cenote with sump-turtles. Really beautiful place and great with an open space on top where we could enjoy the sun before going back in the cenote.

Really cool place, definitely recommend to go there. Entry cost 180 pesos, well worth the money. You can find turtles and "pedicure fish", it was quite busy when we got there by still really enjoyable. Bring your snorkelling stuff or you can rent them anyway there. Definitely do it:)

When you initially enter the road to get to Sac Actún, there is a road block where they will try to persuade you to visit Dos Ojos Cenote. You do not have to purchase this access to pass and this does not cover your entrance to Sac Actún!! We purchased our tickets directly from the guide at Sac Actún after passing this blockade. We chose this cenote based on the beautiful photos and reviews we saw online and it is 1000% worth it!! Our guide, Isa, was AMAZING!! He gave us all the insight to make our trip worth every penny!! He is a local guide so he is extremely knowledgeable about the cave system, age and any other questions you might have. I would also recommend that you use the wetsuit included with your access purchase (it’s very cold and you are down in the cave for extended time) and be sure to bring a waterproof cover for your phone!

Amazing experience, probably the highlight for our whole trip to Mexico. Water was much warmer than we expected, though we used wet suits. I read a lot of reviews before choosing this place and I did not regret it. Don't look at the photos, they don't tell the full story. The fun part starts when you swim / snorkel into the caves. 40 USD / 650 MXN per person for 1 hour tour.

Amazing! Beautiful cave cenote, with crystal clear waters and incredible rock formations (estalactites, estalagmites and marine fossils). Guided tour with groups of up to 10 people cost MX$650 or US$35 per person, and it lasts between 45 to 60 minutes. We got there early, and there’s a tolerance of 20 minutes for a group to form, the group leaves with the people who arrived in these 20 minutes (mine had only 5 people in total).

The most beautiful cenote we’ve visited in Tulum! It was a different world in here, seeing all the stalactites and stalagmites, underwater caves, it was really amazing. Our tour guide, Jose, knows his stuff and speaks very good English. Definitely a must visit!

This cenote is amazing. The best cenote we have been in and we have been to several. Don’t waste your time going to other cenotes. Our guide was great very knowledgeable about the history and the cenote. Very funny and entertaining as well as helpful. Worth every peso we spent. So beautiful.

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience, the highlight of our entire trip! For just $40 USD per person (card accepted) it was worth every penny. Going with a guide is a must, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re claustrophobic. The water is chilly, so make sure to wear the provided wet suit. The package includes snorkel gear, the suit, and a knowledgeable guide, making it an all-inclusive adventure. While transportation might be an additional cost (we chose to drive), the best part? You can bring your phone along and the guide will take incredible pictures of you, just make sure it’s safely encased in a waterproof cover! Please remember to bring cash to tip your guide! One of the most beautiful places our family has ever visited. 2 of our kids put this in their "top 3 but not number 2 or 3". Crystal clear water and breathtaking views. Highly recommend going all the way down the road to get to this. All the experience of Rio Secreto without all the commercialization.

We had an amazing experience here. I searched for lots of reviews and chose Sac Actun. The water was super clean which is an incredibly stunning emerald color and nice for refreshing. 11yrs my son said it was the most memorable thing in Mexico and good to know real geology. Highly recommend this place.

Such a great experience. We were afraid of swimming so Issa our tour guide, let us latch on to his life jacket and took us through the whole cavern!!! The new stalactites, bats, little fish everything was phenomenal.You can snorkel a bit too to check the Definitely take the life jackets and wet suit, since most of the cenote is underwater. The total cost is 650pesos/35$ per person as of April 2022. The experience and service value is way beyond the price.

An out of this world kind of experience! We did 10 cenotes and this one is definitely in our top 3! It was 650 pesos per person and it included the guide and the equipment! A very good price for what it is worth! The cenote is mostly enclosed, very wide, complexe, absolutely unique and stunningly beautiful! My boyfriend and I were there on a sunday afternoon on the last tour of the day and had the chance to have a guide only for us two! He was super nice and gave us precious knowledge about mayan culture and the cenote system in Yucatan! Thank you for the incredible experience!

We went on the hour tour with wet suit, lifejacket and snorkel provided. It's a bit pricier than other cenotes but this takes you into the caves. It was very cool and spooky at times! The guide was great. Bring a waterproof pouch or by one there and the guy will take photos of you during the tour

This was such a fun and great experience. One of the best cenotes I’ve been to so far. It’s roughly 7 km from the main road 307. The unfinished, rocky road makes you fell excited as you’ll find yourself in the heart of the wildlife. As of July 2023, the entry fee is 650 pesos per person, if you’re joining with a group. They also have a private tour option as well. The fee covers the equipment like wet suit, life jacket, snorkels. You can also buy a phone protector for 200 pesos, if you don’t have it already. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cave and its formation. This is a must-see location if you’re ever in Tulum.

One of the coolest Cenotes in the area! It’s past all the other Centoes at the end of an 3 mile dirt road. The setting is just magical! Our guide changed us $45 per person. He was very helpful and didn’t rush us, he let us take our time enjoying snorkeling the under water cavern system. The water was blue and clear! It was a unique experience very mystical! A treasure to find!

Not a tourist trap!! THIS is the genuine cenotes experience we were looking for! It’s not a simple swimming hole like a lot of the surrounding cenotes are - you are given wetsuits and life preservers and flashlights because you are guided deep into the caves. If you are afraid of bats (we love them) or if you get claustrophobic (we are not) or if you can’t swim (we can) this might not be the experience for you! But this was exactly what we were looking for. It’s an hour guided tour for $40USD which was the perfect length and a completely fair price in our opinion. We went around 2:45, later in the afternoon, so there was only 1 other couple with us on our guided tour. They genuinely want to preserve the natural formations of these caves so they take active measures to ensure it doesn’t become an overcrowded tourist destination. There are no restaurants or shops here for that reason. We’d recommend it to our friends and family!

This cenote was a unique experience and not like any other visit to a cave that I've done elsewhere. It really exceeded expectations, we had planned to visit Dos Otros but at the last minute a local suggested this instead. Very happy we switched plans. If you are a reasonable swimmer and don't have kids under 12 the longer trip is worth the extra time. The water isn't cold but you will be in it for 45+ minutes so if you want to enjoy it, then use the wetsuits provided. Of course there are other types of cenote which are fully or semi open, some of which have aquatic wildlife, if you don't like the idea of swimming in caves, but this is really beautiful and a truly special place. Bany was our guide, he was excellent and helped to guide us through the caves and added further light to the already partially lit caves, which allowed us to take some good photos and videos. We took a group tour at 650 pesos per person. There are much more expensive private tours which you could do. We were happy with our group but i can imagine it being less enjoyable with the wrong group.

If I could only give 6 stars once on google, this is where I would use it. I had high expectations, but they were far exceeded. I've seen a lot of places in the world (I think I've reached 50 countries) and this is definitely in the top 3. I wouldn't say number 1 lest others get upset :) If you are lucky enough to catch a small group, the experience will be even more impressive. When you arrive you're told you have to wait a bit for more people to come so you can form a bigger group, but the maximum waiting time is 20 minutes, during which time you can take photos, change, go for a shower etc. If no more tourists come, you'll only leave 2-3-5 or however many gathered in 20 minutes Don't miss this location! Everything is at the highest level: cenote, people, facilities

I'm glad I listened to the great reviews! This place is very magical. You can see many different depths underwater and above the water. The stalagmites and stalactites are amazing in their formations. You can see tree roots coming all the way through the ground into the caves to reach the water, it's amazing. There are bats the cave. The water isn't too cold with the wetsuits they provide, and they are very sanitary and professional. I let my keys with them, and everything was VERY SAFE. I can't believe that person left a review saying someone went into their car and took their credit card. I think they were just trying to deter business from this place. They're very honest and great people. I WEAR GLASSES and I was able to take them into the cave. My guide Carlos kept them for me when I put my snorkel mask on. You might want to bring some glasses cleaner with you for afterwards since they get wet.

We almost went to Cenote Dos Ojos but after a little more digging online, we came across Cenotes Sac Actun. Although it's a little further inland (and if you take a taxi you may want to arrange for them to wait for you - which it turns out they're very happy to do without that much added cost!), it is very worth it. You go on a wonderful cave tour (with life vests, wetsuit, and goggles included with your cost of $40 USD) that is mesmerizing with the most helpful/friendly guide. We did the public tour around 10:30 on a weekday and ended up in a lovely group of 6. *Note: There are some parts that get somewhat narrow and enclosed so if you are claustrophobic do be advised.

Very quiet and peaceful experience in a sacred place. Carlo was an excellent guide. He explained much of the history of the place and answered all of our questions. This is a cenote that is deep in the jungle and has a very non-commercial feel to it which makes it one of my favorites in the area. Entering with a guide is mandatory because of the complexity of the cave. Using the available wet suit is a good idea, too. No restaurant on the premises, but there are bathrooms and showers. Definitely not a party spot, so if you're looking to spend a day hanging out at a cenote this is not the one. You go in with a guide for about an hour and then you leave.

Do not pay for Dos Ojos at the gate. Tell them you are going to Sac Actun and they will let you pass. The road is a bit sketch but the tour is worth it. Beautiful snorkeling. Would recommend the wetsuit unless you are really warm blooded. Takes about 45 minutes to tour. They will rent you a cell phone case if you don’t have one.

Such a cool experience! We were lucky enough to do the extended tour and it was a trip highlight. It’s off the beaten path and past 5+ other cenotes. Keep going it’s worth it! You get paired with others, so be prepared for that, but we loved our group and had a fun time! It’s a beautiful and spiritual place.

Lovely spot  by the ocean. My husband and I came in to have breakfast around 11:45 am , We sat at a table and the server brought us a breakfast menu failing to mention anything about breakfast ending in 10 min. He let us browse the menú till exactly  12:01 he comes back for our order, after we ordered the server said it wasn't possible to order breakfast after 12. I asked if I could have ordered breakfast 3 minutes ago and he said I could have , yet he couldn't make an exeption over 2 minutes or ask us for our order any sooner,  not even coffee nor cappucinos we asked.. nope ! I asked about the buffet or whatever was standing in trays in the middle of the restaurant and he said it was barbecue but not yet available either. Then he just stood there and it felt to us we were being pressured to order order something else so we  decided to leave and drive to town. The server seemed happy to have us leave he made no effort to be accomodating even though we were the only patrons in the restaurant. I don't understand how having servers like this could be good for any business.

This was a great cenote to snorkel in because it connects to the sea and you see larger fish and crabs. I enjoyed swimming around and under the mangroves but was wary of the crocodile (yes it’s real!) The staff was friendly and had everything you needed to use.

Beautiful view and Good beach food. There is an upstairs area to dine as well. A little pricier than expected but not bad. hidden from the road. Just across the road from the cenote around the corner from the dive shop.

Mangrove cenote route for snorkeling and diving. Our friendly guide took us snorkeling through tunnels... Pointing out fish, a 🪸 fossil etc... Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Cenote! The rooms are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The staff is so kind and attentive! Antonia took great care of us, she is amazing!

Very nice and spacious. Ruins are preserved quite well and the views of the water and beach below are stunning. There are a few nicely cut out viewpoints for the ultimate photos. Oh! And many awesome iguanas posing for your photos and walking around minding their business. Great way to spend part of your day. ( there’s also guides around if you want the true historical tour )

Interesting stop as part of a tour. Suggest a hard pass unless you find viewing the ruins a must see. Non stop vendors enticing you to stop for pics with monkeys, iguanas, or parrots. Oh, and don't forget the excruciating heat. Bring water, a fan and a quick ride back.

Strategic coastal location aided trade and connections. Unique defensive walls and fortifications for protection of inhabitants.

This place is awesome. Step back in time to a different life. The tour guide’s are so knowledgeable and each one tells a little different story. The views are so beautiful. The beach was wonderful. We spent about an hour and a half walking around the ruins.

A small set of ruins set up high on cliffs that provide a beautiful and dramatic view of the gulf. Stairs down to the beach are inaccessible now though. Absolutely worth a visit you can walk the entire complex in about 45 minutes maybe an hour if crowded. Several large buildings are very impressive though you cannot go into anything everything is at a distance. It will take longer to get in though. You absolutely want a local driver or a tour as there are multiple entrances and the rules change on a whim. Also expect a search of your vehicle by armed security or army. We went via private vehicle with a local driver (shout out to Edgar) who navigated everything for us with no issues but would have been lost on our own even with decent Spanish. You purchase tickets at a small trailer and then take them to the entrance line. While they say credit cards are ok I recommend pesos or dollars. In my opinion you do not need a tour guide at the site. Everything has placards in Spanish and English and most of the guides were just repeating what they said. Many wonderful photo opportunities. Pack water and use the restroom before you arrive as it will be dreadful hot/humid and there are no concessions bathrooms or souvenir shops anywhere on site. There are beaches outside the ruins that you can access separately, and nearby on the main road is a large tourist area with restaurants and shops.

A lovely set of ruins but with a few drawback to the experience. The ruins are impressive and the site itself well maintained. If you have a guide they will explain the history and point out some of the interesting architectural delights that is part of the Mayan ruins. Some of the sculptures are well maintained. To keep everything well maintained, the key buildings are roped off (only the local lizards can pass). That goes double for the local beach which is beautiful but inaccessible. One of the main reasons is the rubbish that littered it so beware that you won't be able to bring plastic bottles into the site. There's not much shade so bring a hat but the tour we were on wasn't that long. Outside the site, you'll find they are building a nice pathway to the ruins and there may be a wait to gain access. Where the car park is you'll find also the usual tourist shops, an original Mayan Starbucks and Hagan Dazs. It's probably best to come with a tour group just from a transport perspective as it doesn't look very accessible to those without the local knowledge. Still the ruins are impressive and it's a good half day out. Just was expecting a little more.

Tulum was beautiful. We visited as part of a tour and we think that is the best way to go if you want to learn more about the history. It is a popular attraction. I recommend going as early as you can to avoid crowds. Also note that it’s very hot and a bit of a walk. So wear a hat and comfortable walking shoes - I did neither and that is my only regret.

Absolutely Fabulous, definitely a gorgeous historical site. If you care about the history I'd recommend reading up on it before visiting. The guides are well educated but they each decide which buildings and stories/histories to highlight so the more you know in advance the better. Bring plenty of water and an umbrella if possible. It was scorching in the beginning of our August visit. Requires about 15 of walking to get there and the grounds are not that big but wear comfy shoes. We were there for about an hour. Strongly suggest going and seeing the overlook of the Beach. The ground is uneven but it's easy as long as you don't have mobility issues.

Amazing place! Anyone who loves history, must come see this. Pay for the tour guide at the entrance. Every building, road, sign, picture, just about every stone has meaning behind it. It is just great to have someone tell you and story and meaning behind it.

I loved this place, which is very small, perfect to do two different activities in the rest of the day. My recommendation is to take a guided trip. You will understand and appreciate more the ruins if you know the maya history.

There are several things to consider, but those will depend whether you hired a tour previously or not, because there’s a parking fee, an access fee, and a tour guide (optional). I strongly recommend to use sunscreen, mosquito repelant, bring water and maybe an umbrella for those who burn easily.

We took the Tulum Express tour, and it was nice with direct hotel pick up and drop off. It was nice because we got to go and still have 1/2 the day. The view of the ocean and turquoise water is amazing!! We came early and it was already hot and didn't have to wait to get in, but as we left the line was almost a mile long to get in and was very warm. I recommend bringing lots of water, use the umbrella, and go early. It's worth the trip.

Very scenic. Crowded with street vendors at the parking lot entrance. Best with a guide for the facts on what you are looking. Federal property with tons of rules and authorizes on site enforcing them. Easy to stay on pathways and easy to navigate.

Great time. The tour of the ruins and the boat tour of the ruins was great. Advice: Don't bring plastic water bottles or you will have no water.

The place is spectacular... First there's a 500m walk before entrance you can choose to take the "train" (a bus jungle styled) for 25 pesos round way. Even arriving early in the morning there's a lot of people but it doesn't take much time to get in. Theres a temperature check before tickets, then tickets which is not too crowded since most people have it in advance, and then the ticket check and you're in. You should take the tour following you're left side all the time, since this one will take you up to the breathtaking ocean views and you'll get to explore the whole place. It says is stroller friendly, it is not. You can so a smaller tour if in wheelchair or with a stroller without getting up up near the ruins. Outside you can find souvenir shops, restaurants and shops, shops, shops. Also people with costumes and some art to take pictures with. A must visit when in Tulum !

To get the tickets 🎟️ you can buy them at the entrance for 85 pesos, there is also an option with a guide tour for 200 💸(I suggest that one - you avoid the long line). Purchase the water in the bookstore before to get in 💧you will need it. All the info ℹ️ an map 🗺️ can be found in the QR at the entrance. 🌂 Take a umbrella with you if possible to protect yourself from the sun ☀️. The ruins are next to the beach 🏖️ so the view is amazing. 🚶🏼‍♀️Near by you can access the Santa Fe Tulum beach 🌊 I got there walking from the ruins. Hope you find this useful ❤️

This place is amazing!! You really need a guided tour to explain all the history you are seeing! But it is a very long walk to get them and then a lot of walking inside so may not be great for anyone with children who can't walk all of that.

The view from the top of the plateau and the dramatic coastal landscape was more impressive than the ruins themselves. It’s worth a day trip from Cancun but I wouldn’t stay longer than a couple hours 👍

The ruins are gorgeous! If you're going to go into the park with a GoPro they will ask that you pay an additional fee to the park. I believe it was like 20 pesos or something? Not super expensive! I so highly recommend going here, it is breathtaking.

Great experience long wait to get in but they are making a lot of improvements. Hopefully, that will remedy the situation. I think the main problem was all people with tickers were in a very long line, and those without walked past us to go to the front to buy tickets, then just merging into the line in front of us.

Fantastic ruins of the Mayan people! Great tours are available that explain what each of the buildings are. More places are being excavated and the understanding of the culture keeps improving! I highly, recommend if you love learning about history

Definitely a very nice place to go. Located in a nice, cozy cove, this place is great to go to with a tour guide. Price is right on, and the wait is a bit hot but bearable. The whole experience, though, is very hot and warm. Additionally, they don’t allow plastic water bottles to cool off. Overall, very nice place to learn and explore Mayan history.

Archeological park definitely worth the visit. It should be around 530 Mexican pesos. You pay a surcharge if you want to use professional cameras. All around it is full of souvenir shops. The park is beautiful, as well as the ruins. The atmosphere recreated is really engaging. Better to go with a tour guide, or hire one on the spot.

This was an awesome adventure to vist this world renowned archaeological site. It is just a short ferry ride and then drive to Tulum. It is definitely worth seeing. Remember it is hot here most of the year so stay hydrated. The staff here are very nice and professional and there is plenty of shopping at the entrance to the site.

A must see site in the region. It takes about an hour to explore the ruins. Please be aware that plastic bottles are not allowed inside. There is very little shade. Please come prepared.

Amazing, beautiful and lovely to see! Not as accessible as it could be. Ticket sales are annoying. Arrive on site, pay to park if needed (probably same cost as a taxi from town to the site). Pay a national park fee at a side booth. Go through security entrance. Walk a ways. Pay for an entrance ticket. Walk a ways. Hand your ticket over. Walk a ways. Explore the grounds up and down several stairs and slopes. We went without a guide, pausing near tour groups to hear info as we wanted. Loved seeing the amazing turquoise waters below the cliff side citadel and iguanas everywhere.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It's like having your own private villa on the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's the first day of an 8 day vacation and I love it here.

Lovely escape from the hustle & bustle. Quiet, romantic, private oasis. The neighborhood provides tons of adult oriented activity if you can tear yourself from your private paradise. I especially loved how easy it was to order to the room, beach or pool. A+++

Nice quiet hotel. We found it very clean and well taking care of. It is not inexpensive like most of Tulum now. There is a small gym, swimming pool, roof deck, good access to the beach and two very good restaurants. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Just about Tulum itself, the beach had a lot of seaweed and we found the taxi to be more expensive than London and New York $20 US for one mile.

This place is an absolute gem! A quiet oasis in an otherwise bustling area of Tulum. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The service is quick and friendly and the food and drinks were delicious! The daily yoga classes are in a beautiful setting with instructors who make the classes accessible regardless of your level of fitness. Though there beach clubs on either side, we didn’t notice any noise on the property. We stayed in a junior suite/plunge pool room and our patio was literally steps from the beautiful white sand beach. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The spa service was wonderful and our room got a very thorough cleaning by Sofia each day!

What an amazing trip we had at this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel right on this beautiful beach. Definitely the best part of the beach hands down. We stayed in the room right on the beach and that was so lovely. We loved how low-key the hotel is. The staff is super sweet and helpful with everything that we asked. We especially loved our daily happy hours with our favorite bartenders Kenneth and Willy! They made our trip even more fun and special. Also the food is just delicious and super fresh! We can't wait to come back.

This hotel is impeccable. The staff is so kind and attentive and the food is incredible. They helped us with every need we had. The views from our room were incredible. The beach is private and quiet and calm. Tulum can get rowdy but this was a quiet little haven tucked in the hustle and bustle. Would absolutely stay again.

Location 📌 The Beach is located right in the middle of the hotels street. There are many restaurants and bars around, which is super convenient. No need to take a taxi, except if you want to go to El Pueblo or La Veleta. We did take bikes to go there but I wouldn't recommend it 😅 the road is not very nice and quite long. Room 😴 Our room was amazing: big and very confortable with a great bathtub 😍, a small terrace at the front, another one at the back and a hammock, sofa area and a private terrace with sunbeds and a private jacuzzi. Just perfect! ☀️ My only suggestion? A better isolation for the main sliding doors 😬 the sea was quite agitated and it made A LOT of noise inside at night, even with the doors closed. Food 🥑 Breakfast was either at Ziggy's or Fresco's: two dishes and drinks included. Fresco's had our preference, even if location was less nice than Ziggy's. Food was tasty, lots of options of dishes, smoothies, fresh juices,... Vegetarian options as well. Staff 🙏 We found people very nice, polite and helpful. Communications with the hotel is through WhatsApp and super efficient! They let us stay for a late check out without any additional charge, which was much appreciated 😌 Only downside was the cleaning lady who forgot many times to refill the room (minibar, coffee, incense, candles, bath salt, etc.). But again, this was quickly taken care of by the management. Any other comment? Getting proper bikes 🤣 Riding with a bike with breaks through the pedals, no lights and no gears was no fun (and often dangerous, tbh). Anyway, our experience was great and I strongly recommend this hotel for people looking for a quiet, relax place and premium service👍❤️

Room smelled like dirty water and the beach is so loud until midnight. Terrible EDM echoes across the entire strip. The pool looks untouched for weeks and the jacuzzi is cold with uncleared debris from the plants. The spa prices are ridiculous for a foreign hotel with no specialty therapist on staff. The restaurants serve overcooked and over salted western dishes. $45 for Rissoto not even in Italy would you expect this absurd price! Once you are here you are stuck- hotel transportation is 149 from the airport yet a quote to any excursion is the same one way! The room smells like old molded water and raccoons are at your door after 8pm. Extremely drunk and belligerent people crowd the streets with no sidewalks and shopping mimics the Vegas strip. I wanted to review this place on my social media but the first night and I'm already looking for a new place. Total disappointment.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Truly is paradise. I stayed in the junior suite and we were located literally on the beach. Having our own private pool was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque experience. The service is top notch, truly a 5 Star, everything you needed can be requested through your phone. Food, ambiance, location and service all perfect. Thank you for the most wonderful vacation.

Words cannot explain how great of an experience this was. The logistics were a breeze through Trip Adviser and we only spent $45 per person for a two hour private tour with a kick-a$$ tour guide, Raphael. He took us way back through the cenotes and showed us some very impressive spots. More extreme and exciting than I ever have imagined!

This place is a scam! We were looking for cenote caracole and they lied to us claiming that the name has changed now and they wanted to sell us access to other cenotes and tried to charge us double the price. Avoid this place at any cost!

This cenote 'The underwater ancient temple' was the highlight of our anniversary trip and lifes! We have been around and seen some natural wonders, but this takes a spot at the top. It is absolutely amazing if you want to avoid the crowds, get a true mayan local to guide you through and swim not only in a fairly open/high cealing space, but also go inside and deep into dark magical caves. You need to book online in advance as they do not sell tickets at the place. The two owners (actual explorers who found the cenote in 2002!) are a very concious pair dedicated to give back to the mayan community and keep exploring without commercializing massively their discoveries. It is breathtaking and humbling to do this experience with them as you connect with nature and understand the respect it deserves to be properly appreciated. Just one build: you have quite a lot of room to improve the UX of your website, especially the mobile experience. Although we booked and pay in 5 min, we didn't know what time/day we booked our tour and in general design and images could be far better considering the beautiful scenery you have to play with. Must say reviews were the deciding factor to choose this cenote keep on nurtering by continuining your authentic and truly mayan experience.

Go here, it is worth every penny!! If you're looking to Zipline use the guys that take you to this cenotes. They are fun, encouraging, good at their jobs, and feed you when your done!

SCAM ALERT!!! This business does not take you to the labnaha cenote anymore. It does not offer any of the services advertised on its website, such as tours, snorkeling, zip, lining, etc. It massively up charges you for what is actually a ticket to the operation next-door called Casa Tortuga, which is a tourist trap amusement park. It also will not give you your deposit back if you booked online. There’s just one extremely rude guy at the building who checks your reservation and then sends you next-door to a completely different establishment, which will also not take you to the Labnaha cenote.

Caves were awesome, and I would definitely he back.

**Look at the dates of the positive reviews** LabnaHa Eco Park does not exist. The reviews from years past may be accurate, but this is no longer the case. There are no tours of Labnaha cenote yet this company is still selling tours and sending you next door to a what’s effectively an amusement park. They up charge and tell you to walk 300m down to Casa Tortuga. They no longer take you into the LabnaHa cenote. When I asked for my money back so I could just go buy a ticket from Casa Tortuga (for 200MXN less), the owner became rude and agressive. DO NOT BOOK with these people.

This was an extraordinary day! The people are top notch...super super SUPER!!!!! HIGHLY reccomend.

It’s super fun, the staff was friendly, they explained everything about the dolphin, it’s expensive but we love it. The River so clean n clear, we can snorkeling n see a lot of fish, they have a lot active games in the park , food is great , drinks any soda u want. This park is so amazing , huge, a super fun. We play with dolphin, zip bikes, zipline, snorkeling, River lazy, jumping, cuz it’s so big so next time we will come back to see the hippo, walking under the water w the ray, dolphin ect.. I will be back, highly recommended for anyone

You definitely have to visit and explore Xel-Ha Park, of the Xcaret, at the the Riviera Maya's which has stunning natural aquarium, and spend on all-day trip if you visiting Mexico. Relaxing on Xel Ha's hidden beach, swimming in cenotes and lagoons, snorkeling, and spelunk in caves - will make your visit incredible and memorable. Activities are distant, so you'll spend time walking from one place to another . It is very well organized, and food is good for an all-inclusive.

Booked at the park when we arrived as a last-minute decision and it was a great experience! Only thing is that the photo packages are all super expensive, and they don't want to tell you that until the end when you look at the pictures.

Great fun for entire family. Important: buy your tickets in advance for the best deal. You won't need shoes or own towels. All food and drinks, including premium alcohol are included. The buffets offer impressive selection and surprisingly good quality. You will need 8 hours to experience the park. Enjoy!

We booked our Delphinus package through TUI which came with park tickets, we got the Interax package which last for 30 minutes with the dolphins. When we arrived at the park we upgraded to the Dolphin Ride as it was on promo for 23USD (£18) per person from 45USD (if i remember correctly). The overall experience was incredible, the dolphins was so well behaved and I genuinely loved every moment of it. The photo packages for the dolphins on the other hand was ridiculously expensive, we went for the middle package which included all photos (64 we got in total) which cost us 207USD (£165), the photo package cost more than what we paid to swim with the dolphins 😬 The park overall is stunning, all natural, jet packed with activities, just be aware that some activities such as Power Snorkelling, Air Bikes and a few others come with an additional charge, we was told that by booking through TUI we got 50% off the usual price too! There’s so many good photo spots around the park too! It’s just gorgeous! Just be aware of the iguanas cos they are EVERYWHERE!

Very interesting mix between all inclusive resort, activity park and ecological zoo. We enjoyed the overall experience and that it was so many things grouped into one but recognize it was a but pricey if you were looking for just one part of the experince.

The dolphin exhibit is a fan favorite to many people. You have a chance to interact with them up close and personal. This is a very nice park to come and enjoy a day full of fun with swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing. You need to move around this park because it's large and has many different locations and activities to do. With your purchase of ticket entrance, you also get to eat and drink. Alcohol drinks are included and you also have a few choices to choose from to sit and eat.

Very impressed! We were here during covid so there was probably 1/4 of the usual crowd on a Thursday. No waits for anything, except 10 mins for the slide on the light house. Probably the best you could ask for. Food and service were great. No complaints. All of the included entry price activities were plenty for a full day in the park. We did not feel the need to pay extra for other activities, but they are there if you want them.

The Bahia Principe Grand Tulum's swim-with-dolphins experience was truly captivating. The knowledgeable staff ensured a safe and enjoyable encounter. The entire family was involved in the experience and enjoyed swimming with the dolphins. Overall, it was a remarkable adventure that left us with cherished memories. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience to swim with dolphins. It was 109$ for 45 min experience and additional for all pictures which is amazing since one picture was 50$ and for all of them is 75$ per person and there are a lot of pictures . It was very fun an interacting. Something to remember for sure.

So heart breaking to see dolphins in such a small pool. They have three female dolphins (Nautica, Athena & another whose name I cant recall). There is minimal to no shade or any kind of enrichment toys. The show was thankfully only 5 minutes and the trainers just had them do a few tricks. The resort boosts huge elaborate pools for guests, ten times the size given to these poor dolphins. Obviously this resort makes millions, perhaps they could upgrade to a better facility for the three dolphins.

Everyone who goes there should reconsider their own human nature! Absolute cruelty to animals to satisfy the curiosity of humans and to have no regard for animal welfare!!! Absolute egoists and disgusting people who support this! Cruelty to animals at nature! Any justification to talk to specialists like you have offered is useless! Parents who take their children there for so-called "further education" or their own amusement and excuse or justify their behavior should think about what a broken world view they are teaching their children! Stealing natural space from living beings for your own pleasure! KARMA is all I say. Shame on you!!

The dolphins are kept in a tiny unnatural swimming pool. First thing in the morning, they are force fed vitamins with tubes as they get 0 nutrients from the dead fish they are given. The staff will tell you they are "rescue " dolphins. They are not. In fact, they are bought from the same hunters in Taiji Japan, who hunt and kill dolphins by the most brutal methods. The "pretty ones" are kept and sold to dolphinariums like the one at the Bahia. Now you know what your money is supporting. These are facts not my opinions.

We got there late so there were a lot of people in front of us. We couldn't see the dolphins. All the kids were allowed inside an area to have a clear view of the dolphins. My wife was worried that for 3 dolphins, there was not enough room/area of water for them to perform. But other than that, the dolphins are amazing performers. The reason I gave a 4 star because of the dolphins. Lol

Never went but our room overlooked. Pool is kept clean and trainers keep good care of dolphins. Saw a couple of paying guests in the pool and they get a great experience.

The 3 dolphins are kept in a way to small pool, that looks like a former hotel pool. The 30min show once a day is ok, but you do not see a lot as the dolphins really have no room to swim. The maintenance level lacks here as in the rest of the resort.

The pools these dolphins are in are much too small to provide quality of life for them. There is also no shade or enrichment for them. They are only there for tourist $$$. Anyone paying for interactions with them is supporting their continual low quality of life. I will not support even staying at the Bahia hotel here because of the dolphin treatment. Please know that paying to interact with captive dolphins ensures that dolphins will continually be captured from the wild and forced to live in these confined spaces. We can choose to make better choices and speak out for these animals.

Very nice beach, it has a public entrance and restaurants are quite expensive. Bring your own stuff if youre on budget.

Please do not support such a place! The habitat is smaller than some of the pools in the resort. I did not get up very close so I am not sure how deep it is but it did not look very deep. I did see the dolphins and they did not look too happy. Could you imagine being stuck in a small kiddie pool where you can hear and smell the ocean that is right next door and there is nothing you can do about it. They tote being an animal eco habitat and charge you a mandatory $10 fee towards the preservation then they keep two beautiful dolphins captive in a oversized bathtub, it's disgusting!

We had another great visit to Dolphinarius with Juan, Athena, Nautica and Atlantis. These dolphins are so special.

This is animal cruelty. Research more about it before you make an informed decision to support such cruelty. Visiting and supporting any animal away from their home or held in captivity is cruel. Animals should be observed from far away in their habitat. Roaming freely and going and coming whenever they want. This includes ‘sanctuary’s’, zoos and other kind of exploitation of animals. Wherever there is an exchange of money for seeing animals, you will know some sort of abuse is happening. Humans go through lengths to train animals into obedience so the animals show up and do what is told when paying visitors arrive because they get a guarantee of seeing them. I’m still shocked that we support zoos in this world for ‘conservation’ purposes. The animals would be better off living a short but free live, rather than a life in the same enclosure and environment ,away from home and surrounded by people every day. Some people claim to love birds and pets, but hold little

If you can get over the rudeness of the people managing this place (I think it's families owning the land), it's worth a visit. There are many monkeys so the chances of seeing them are high here. And multiple other animals, like spiders, butterflies etc. But even if they let you visit by yourself, you will definitely get lost so you need a guide. And this takes me back to the unpleasantness of the experience. First of all, prices aren't displayed anywhere so my guess is that they make the price by looking at the people visiting. They gave me an unreasonable price but I speak Spanish and pushed back and got a lower price, but the attitude of the man wasn't amazing. He yelled at one of the guys there to show us the place: let me introduce you to our guide. It had just rained, the ground was very slippery. He was walking way ahead of us, acting annoyed and unwelcoming and he was wearing flip flops - kudos to him because we risked falling multiple times - walking fast who knows how but disregarding the fact that we were struggling... the whole thing was rushed. He made noises to attract the monkeys, showed us all the animals and bugs on the way and without him we would have probably missed a lot (and gotten lost). Still, if you're around I'd give it a shot

Hay que hacer toda la ruta en bañador y sin nada más, únicamente el móvil si se tiene funda acuatica. Los chalecos y arneses están muy viejos. La bajada al cenote es por rapel de 12 metros y la subida es por una escala vieja de 12 metros de madera que no está en muy buenas condiciones. Tuvimos un percance serio y no había equipo de apoyo, un compañero estuvo colgando de un pie 5 minutos y cayó al cenote desde 10 metros porque tardaron con la ayuda ya que no hay nada cerca. Aparte de lo peligroso, el cenote es un círculo de unos tres metros y está a oscuras, no te dan linterna, ni máscara y tubo por lo que aparte de nadar no puedes ver nada. La tirolina tampoco tiene medidas de seguridad. Lo mejor de la ruta fue el paseo viendo los monos, pero no compensó el susto tan grande que vivimos. Definitely get the guide! We got Eloy, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. We saw many spider monkeys and even 4 howler monkeys. The experience is totally worthwhile. We paid 1000 pesos for 2 people with the guide.

Oh wow. Just indescribably beautiful. We did a guided tour, our guide was friendly and patience, full of great information and we saw the spider monkeys! The lagoon it's self is incredible. Make sure you have a swim, it's wonderful.

We originally wanted to go to the Monkey sanctuary closer to town, but after reading reviews, there are alot of extras for photos etc and it's not a natural setting. This monkey nature reserve was amazing!! Highly recommend having a guide so they can help you find the monkeys in the trees... we walked for a little while and found a whole bunch of them. It was so nice to watch them all climb and jump around with their baby's in their natural habitat. Highly recommend visiting!!

Always visit when we are in the area. 300 pesos to visit and 600 pesos for a guide for 2 people. It is worth getting a guide, they will find the monkeys and other animals. We did not do the canoe or zipline. The view of the lake is amazing.

Amazing experience to be had here. You have lots of tour options, but this place is special! Still occupied by the Mayan people, you can experience a piece of their culture. Francisco was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. He found ALL the monkeys for us and even took us to their watering cave. It was magical watching mommas with their babies attached. One monkey even popped down close to pose for me. The hike is breathtaking. Beautiful roots from the Ficus trees, moss and rocks. I loved seeing the huge caterpillars and grasshoppers. Francisco pointed out everything and told us a lot of the Mayan words. Before the hike began we were blessed by a Mayan shaman. It was great because we chose to go in the private cenote. Since the Mayans consider it sacred, it was important to be respectful. We went on a very cool zip line over the lagoon before canoeing to the side where the cenote is. It is a stunning Lagoon! Now, my favorite part of this experience was the private Cenote. We rappelled down a very small hole into darkness to snorkel with a flashlight. It was AMAZING! Don't miss this place if you're in the Riviera Maya

Beautiful fresh water lagoon, basically a cenote, with cristal clear water.

Really well maintained Mayan community best done with a guided tour. Our guide “Angel” translated in Maya their native language was very knowledgeable who mother and elders only speak Maya and not Spanish. They host night tours where you can see snakes and spiders. During our day tour we saw several spider monkeys in their natural habitats. They community of a couple people live in symbiosis with the nature and are very resourceful and self sufficient. Very friendly and highly recommended for an authentic jungle tour experience. Our guide also spoke perfect English as well as 4 other languages. By visiting and getting a to it your helping them maintain and keep their land whose being approached by larger resorts looking to turn the space into a tourist destination.

The best hours to visit Punta Laguna are 3pm and 4pm because the spider monkey families are meeting at the trees to get ready to sleep. The tour is very nice, a brisk walk through the forest where you can see the monkeys climbing the trees and learn about the flora and fauna in Yucatán. The guides are part of the community that protects this park and their knowledge is passed from generation to generation. There are plenty of activities to do and choose from, you can canoe in the lake, do a zip-line or just enjoy your hike while you enjoy nature.

such an incredible experience!!! peaceful space that’s well maintained and preserved by an intergenerational family. fair prices that go towards preservation of the environment, and well deserved given the passion and drive these folks have towards their community and the nature/animals they care for. the guides are knowledgeable and know the spider monkey families very well. plus swimming in the lagoons was a lovely treat! hidden gem that i recommend fully.

We enjoyed walking in the forest with an excellent local guide who told us many things we didn't know before! We saw a group of howler monkeys and many groups of spider monkeys. *We only had time for the walk in the forest but there are more things to do here!*

Recommended for all nature lovers. If you are like us and don't mind driving to see animals in their natural habitat instead of cages, then this is a place for you. Animals became active after 4-5pm. We came around 3:30pm and first spent 30 minutes walking with the guide looking for monkeys which were just sleeping on the trees. Then the movement started and they started cruising through the trees together. Mamas carrying the babies on their back, youngsters playing together. At the end it was really nice to dive into the lagoon to get refreshed. We paid 1300 MXN for the private tour of 3 people.

Want to see monkeys in nature (not a theme park or zoo)? Head to Punta Laguna! Less than 1hr drive from Tulum area, this nature reserve is well worth a visit. We arrived late afternoon, just as the spider monkeys appeared. We had a great local guide - his family had founded the nearby village - who was so knowledgeable about the nature and local area (and spoke great English). Just us and the monkeys. We then swam in the lagoon, which was had mostly to ourselves. Heaven! This place is not at all commercial or touristy and supports the local community. Bring cash as they don't accept card!! We didn't have enough cash with us so we couldn't pay for the zip line across the lagoon, or canoeing, or rappelling into the cenote activities but the fee other tourists we met there said it was great. I think it's 200 peso per person to enter the reserve. 400 peso for a guide to see the monkeys (not essential but worth it). And 800 peso per person if you want to do the zip line etc activity package. Great value and contributes to supporting the nature reserve. With more time, we may also have seen howler monkeys and other wildlife. Definitely a highlight!

This is a nature reserve where you can spent 2-3 hours in the forest to see some spider monkeys and learn more about them. The lagoon is beautiful, and there is a zip line there that you can take above the lagoon which provides a bit of excitement. The zip line was great fun and seemed well maintained. You need to row back across the lagoon with a kayak. Overall a good half a day can be spent here.

Super clear water and really quiet and calm. Just not a lot of places to lay down

We had a very nice time here. We arrived early and had the cenote all to ourselves. We even got to relax in the hammocks available there. The water was clear with lots of fish and even a peaceful turtle. I don't know what the blue velvety birds were, but they were gorgeous. It seems this cenote is the entry point to a very vast system of underwater caves. You are not allowed to wear sunscreen and have to pay an extra 25 pesos to bring in your ice box with food and drinks. There is no restaurant inside. Smoking is not allowed. The place got busy and noisy later, but we moved to the sister cenote Escondido on the other side of the road.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT come here. Like others mentioned, the "staff" are RUDE and hate tourists. One of the staff members physically ASSAULTED me, I had to get the police and national guard involved. Additionally, it does not look like a cenote, it looks like a SWAMP. I actually feel bad for the girl that works at the front, she seems to hate her life so much, and projects that onto every person she encounters (locals too). Save your money and go to GRAN CENOTE or CASA TORTUGA--they are beautiful and the staff are super nice there.

Water not as clear as expected. It seems the "outdoor" toilets which aren't flushable have contents that easily make way to the cenote.

Warning this Cenote is not the main entry into the Naharon system. The main line passes into a very silty restriction which was exited by touch, it is zero viz, complete black out. However the pool is warm, but green and the facilities are good. To enter the Naharon system go to Cenote Crystal on the way back to Tulum😀

I’ve traveled far across the globe and visited many different hotels in different countries, and I’m sad to say that this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had a hotel. I stayed here for a week. The don’t care about there guests and there is loud techno music playing day and night, both at the restaurant and at the beach. Even trough the night you can hear the music and people loudly in the room. They run a beach club for day visitors which is the reason for the music and which also means it’s super busy with people coming and going all day. At night they host private parties which goes on until 3 am in the morning. It would have been a nice place otherwise. Beautiful beach and ocean, and the waiters at the restaurant was very nice. Special gratitude to William and Antonio. But in the end this a place I’ll never return to.

A wonderful place for a romantic couples dinner. Excellent vibes, gorgeous view, and completely amazing service. We especially enjoyed Raphael and Omar. Red snapper was heavenly. Chocolate cake was enchanting, luring you into a "one more bite..." Bite after bite..... After bite. Valet parking, which is really nice!! Enjoy

Spent the day at the beach club at Ana y Jose and the drinks, food, and service were excellent. Although it was seaweed season (really sucks) the staff worked really hard to clean up a lot of it and I was still able to get in the water for a while. The service was attentive but not pushy. The food highlight on the day was the Emerald Ceviche which is super refreshing and tasty! Didn't stay at the hotel, but definitely recommend the beach club for a day of relaxing in the sun!

The staff makes the resort special. Paulina stops by every day to be sure everything is going great. We tell her we have no complaints. She is so good that she seems to anticipate what you might need. William one of the wait staff is full of personality and seems like an old friend. I wonder how the resort finds such great people. Our room seems to magically get cleaned without us ever seeing the cleaning staff. The restaurant on the beach is beyond great. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the views are special. The Tulum beach is where to go and this unpretentious resort is where to stay

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Horrible customer service. We tried to reschedule an already booked stay and they did absolutely nothing to help. They only want your money and do not respect you as a customer. No talk of a hotel voucher or even a partial refund. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this resort. So many other better options in Tulum so don’t fall trap!

I wanted a chill place to rest that didn’t have blaring music, and had a nice bed / atmosphere. This place delivered so much that we returned another time before leaving. Great food and service was on point. Has valet parking, beautiful beach club area - a premium experience. Thank you Jorge and Gustavo for the amazing service and local recommendations 🤍🥹 you made our time in Tulum that much better!

Fantastic spot on the beach! We stayed here for a birthday and it was very relaxing. There were lots of opportunities to go and find the crazy parties, but it was nice and relaxing when we got back to the room. Fernanda was fantastic and we can't wait to come back! Gracias!!

Great beach club. We didn’t want a party vibe like Tantra or Taboo, so this was perfect. The food was really good and they were accommodating when the weather didn’t cooperate and we wanted to move by the pool. Damien and Rafael were excellent!

A very nice place to stay, the breakfast is amazing, and all of the staff are attentive and kind. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. I would say that you are next to some very loud clubs so you might hear the faint sound of music in the distance at night.

Gorgeous resort with amazing food, quiet and relaxing. Don't be fooled by the continental breakfast included is fresh best l bread that's baked within an hour of being served. Fresh fruit, fresh squeeze oj. Clubs near by can be a bit loud but dies down around midnight.

Well what can I say about this beautiful hotel. We were here for 4 days after our honeymoon roude trip. We had initially booked a room with a garden view. After we told them that it was our honeymoon we got an upgrade to the luna de miel suite (honnymoon). A dream. We had a fruit basket in our room - just super nice. They have always surprised us. Sometimes a little chocolate or the other evening a bottle of Sparkling wine to toast our wedding. Just great and really attentive. The beach is beautiful and the service from the concierge was breathtaking. Everything you want is made possible (which is legal 😜). Highly recommend this hotel. The girls were just great . We treated ourselves to another massage on the day of departure. The price is a bit high but we thought it was definitely justified. Thank you very much for the great days ❣️💗❣️

Our first trip was in October 2023- we stayed here AFTER signing a contract to have our wedding on property. (crazy, I know) I was blown away from the start. First I want to make it clear that I did not stay at Ana y Jose. Rather, I made a reservation for the beach club, however I was not able to attend due to an emergency on the same day as my reservation! Mind you they closed at 7pm on the day of the reservation. I kindly asked for a refund or a honoring of my ticket for a different day while in Tulum and the Hotel/beach club replied “per no show, apply full penalty non-refundable.” And they asked me if I would like to buy another ticket for a different day instead of honoring my original purchase. In my experience, a good customer service gesture would be to at least honor my ticket for another day as I asked. The refund would also be a no brainer had someone had an emergency as I did and could not attend. The business itself looks beautiful and I love Tulum, just wish I didn’t have a sour experience with the Ana y Jose online staff. Make sure you definitely will show up to your reservation! They have no compassion for unexpected emergencies.

We've visited Ana y Jose twice on two trips to Tulum and have had great experiences both times. Neither were we guest of the hotel but instead of the beach club and have no complaints. Lovely and attentive staff, beautiful spot, great music/food/drink.

We paid for all inclusive. Customer Service was absolutely terrible and didn't accommodate/compensate for any of the issues that we had. The restaurant workers did not communicate very well with each other or us to understand our dietary needs and the food was not very good at all. They had extremely slow service and they were not consistent with the quality of food. They Charged us for a whole bottle of $2600 tequila from the mini bar in our room, when we only had two shots and they replaced it with a new bottle the next day when we planned to drink the rest. They refused to take any of it off our bill. All the alcohol there didn't even get us buzzed it most definitely was watered down. My boyfriend is vegan and we let them know before we arrived and made it very clear that we have diet restrictions which they acknowledged and said they would accommodate. At the restaurant they didn't seem to know what vegan was and one night they told us that they couldn't make anything vegan for my boyfriend and ended up giving us a terrible dish that took over an hour to make. He went to bed very hungry and it ruined our night and dampened the next day too. They tried to keep vegan options available after that and that was the only time they tried but still never compensated for the loss of food on that day. We waited hours for scooters to arrive that the hotel said they would get for us but they never got them. But when we went to go find some ourselves we found plenty of scooters for rent and our time and day was wasted. We are very frustrated with our experience and we feel ripped off and not accommodated.

We stopped by for an afternoon at the beach club. At the entrance was told it was a minimum spend of $500 pesos/ 50 USD each. The food and drinks were actually very delicious, especially the ceviche. The facilities are beautiful. We ended up spending more than the minimum for each person. 🚨🚨🚨BUT come bill time the waiter tried to tell us the minimum spend was actually way more and we did not spend enough per person to cover. It put a sour note on a very good day, as we were put in an awkward situation to negotiate. Then he told us, the tip was only cash and not card, as if he expected to tip after he tries to swindle us. Awkward. We were able to pay what we bought in food and drinks at the end (more than the minimum spend we were told at the door) but not after a few tense moments.🚨🚨🚨 It's a shame that happened, I would not expect this from such a nice and reputable hotel/beach club. If you go be aware and watch the bill.

Magical location. Quiet. No insane high volume music like other places. The guy who served us was so adorable and pro. We only came for a day at the beach. The bed is so comfortable and the food was extremely tasty. Totally recommend

Went there today early in the morning around 9:30 and basically had the place to ourselves, then more people arrived but it didn’t feel too crowded. Perfect for pretty much any size group- lots of space to chill and many tables. They also have food there for very reasonable prices. We got coffees, berry pie and tacos- everything was good! The entrance was 200 pesos per person. If you want to rent a life jacket/ snorkel it’s extra. We went to other cenotes and they were all amazing but this one had the nicest people working there and the best vibes!

Our driver recommended this Cenote as being a little off the tourist path and glad he did (shout out to Edgar) We could have spent all day here. The cenote is beautiful with clear fish filled water and beautiful views of the underwater caves. There are two platforms you can leap from. There is also a zip line you can fall from for 10 pesos. The surrounding area really blends with the jungle and has plenty of seating. Definitely rent a swim mask for 50 pesos or bring your own so you can really see everything. . There is a small restaurant and bar that serves local beer we recommend the Tulum beer. The staff is really helpful and friendly with many speaking English. There is also a safari tour we didn't try. Finally a nice little gift shop with good prices.

A place worth visiting, remember to pop in as early as possible. We checked in around 10am, and literally whole place was all but fir us two. Unbelievable clear and chilly water, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious served in cafe just next to cenote. Entry was 200 pesos, but worth it.

We went there yesterday and it was gorgeous! We paid 300 pesos for the admission. The cenote was impressive and not crowded at all. The pool area could improve, but overall the place is spectacular!

We had a great afternoon at this cenote. The service was friendly and helpful. We were there early afternoon mid week, and it was not crowded. It was almost empty when we got there. I saw the pool and could imagine kids would like it. But we were there for the cenote and did not want a covered one with a diving focus but rather open air and swimming focus, and this was fabulous. The smoothies were tasty, margarita was weak, and tacos weren't bad. We've had better in Tulum, but they were a nice lunch.

What an underground amazing experiences. This place was well planned and decorated. We were shuttled to the location and shuttled back. The people that rented the place was totally professional. I feel safe going to the location. The sound system that they install was absolutely amazing. The people that attended we were totally committed to the music and contributed to the over all experience.

Gorgeous cenote with excellent staff and plenty of space to spread out the site. If you get there right at opening you’ll have the place to yourself for at least an hour. Highly recommend cooling off with a passion fruit margarita at the bar with the swinging seats.

It's an okay place, the cenote is small, and I feel the price was kinda expensive for it. The worst part was definitely the service from the coffee place, they took over an hour to give me 2 coffees, and there was a guy who was really really rude when I asked him about it.

A charming and peaceful Cenote, very much liked by Mexican families! We had a fun afternoon, watching people jumping in from 2 -3 meters high and/or testing the zipline and plunging into the water. Nice service from the bar, all very friendly! We would go again.

We went to the car wash cenote today, but the water conditions weren’t good. The woman at the ticket counter recommended this cenote just 100 meters up the road. It’s a beautiful, well maintained facility and although the cenote is small, the water is beautiful and refreshing. They have a diverse menu and an extensive list of drinks available. I highly recommend. We had a great time. Super relaxing.

Very nice Cenote, water is Crystal Clear, there is a zip line to Jump into the water, there are bathrooms, pools and a lot of other services. A very beautiful place to enjoy nature

$MX300 entrance fee for foreigners, locals pay half. The cenote was rather small, with lots of Mexicans in it, there was a very friendly atmosphere. You can dive and life vests are not mandatory (but free if you need). A « safari » was also included but we didn’t do it, it’s probably nice for kids…

Friendly staff, water is clear and refreshing. You can rent a swimming mask, buy a swimming suit or towl, there are changing rooms and you can order food.

Beautiful cenote, the grounds were very well kept and there weren’t very many people. They also had a pool, coffee shop, gift shops, and restaurant. Additionally if you are interested in staying on site they have group housing and smaller apartments/rooms. They all looked very nice from the outside.

$20 bucks is wayyy too expensive for a run down tiny swim hole. Find another one. It's pretty but charging more than 5 or 10 dollars simply put a rip off. 2 home made sun beds and run down art work.

Kids loved the zip line, you do have to pay 10 pesos each time you jump. There are 2 different platforms to jump from. Two pools, one for Littles and one that's maybe 5' deep. The slide into the deeper pool wasn't working, kids were bummed.. the entry fee was 300 pesos per person.. a lot more than when we came 5 years ago. Food and drinks there, fast service.
