Definitely a must see if in the area! The view is beautiful! The outdoor swap meet is okay, lots of stuff you really don't need but could waste money on. They do have real leather sandals for men, women, and children which are nice. Lots of knockoff handbags but depending on where you live you can probably but them closer to home. La Bufadora is not somewhere you will spend hours at unless you stop at a bar to eat and drink. You can only look at the blow hole and ocean for so long! There is an area to take a picture with the large Ensenada sign which is neat but again won't take much time.

One of great natural wonders of Mexico. I took a trip down here, it was quite further than I expected but not so bad. You park a little bit away and then walk through all the shops and then at the end of the way walk is the natural wonder. There are some huge sprays but it happens every 10 minutes or so. Overall nice to see but I probably would not go back there again.

I loved seeing the ocean at LA Bufadora. It looked so peaceful and calm. The geyser at LA Bufadora was cool to see and experience. It was neat seeing water shoot out of the ocean like that. I was able to purchase affordable souvenirs there as well. They have over 100 vendors, great food, and drinks. People there are very friendly.

Great views all around The bathroom could use a little work. We even hike down to three different sections of rocks and water at the ocean level for a truly impressive immersive feeling. Be sure fly your drone at this location 😏😊😎🌄🌅📹🚁💨

This place is a natural phenomenon. La Bufadora is often considered a marine geyser. However, it does not have a thermal source or cause, as geysers do. In this case, the spout of sea water is the result of air, trapped in a sea cave, exploding upwards. The legend regarding La Bufadora is that a whale became trapped in the rocky point and blew water to attract its pod’s attention. Eventually, the whale turned to stone, staying there forever. If you're in the area, it's a must-see. There are plenty of restaurants and knick knack shops around.

Beautiful! I made a point to leave before it got dark because of the drive for myself but I am happy with the experience and shopping and snacks. Definitely if you’re in the Ensenada area I would recommend driving down just to see the views and experience the people. Thank you!

Must see place. The view is breathtaking. Such a beautiful sight of the majestic Pacific Ocean! The drive is not bad and the vendors are so nice. Be ware you could be spending lots of money trying the food but it’s totally worth it!

Very nice place to visit. The weather is perfect. If you have small kids make sure you have a stroller for them. They do have restaurants there. Fun for the whole family 👪.

Went on a Tuesday in July and there were no crowds. After you park, there are dozens of small shops selling a variety of Mexican curios and souvenirs. Be sure to stop by the leather and wood engraving shop, where artist Arturo Martinez will engrave a bracelet or other memento for you (inexpensive, too). Then walk down to the famous La Bufadora and watch the crowds marvel at the natural blowhole. Water around the area is a beautiful turquoise blue.

Great place for souvenirs if you are willing to haggle for them. Scenery was also very neat. Be prepared to get wet if you go to the end where the main attraction is

Good place to visit. There are a ton of local shops that are available and they can be persuasive. Just keep in mind to bargain. There is an Ensenada logo as well over there. Coming to the blow hole the experience is good. It really depends on the tides how much the water blows out. Overall a one time experience

It is such a beautiful natural phenomenon. Beautiful coastline to take pictures, and the water looks so refreshing! If you're lucky, you might see some grey whales mating or giving birth. If you get the chance to go, it will not disappoint. Also has about 200 shops in the marketplace you can go to to pick up all your little souvenirs!

Spectacular place once you make it through the gauntlet of concessionaires. They were actually fun and I ended up with a margarita, cinnamony things and a Kansas City Chiefs Pancho that I really needed. 😉

We got there fairly early. So it wasn't too crowded. Be ready for all the shopkeepers to come out and aggressively sell their items. It's their livelihood, so understandable. Once you told them no thank you, they left you alone. The blow hole was very active the day visited.

Only three in the world and the largest one is in Ensenada BC. Beautiful place to visit while in Ensenada BC. You need to wait to get the best shot . I was lucky to see the one but not able to capture as you only have fractions of seconds to capture. Lots of cruise crowd go there and there is a big market while going and coming back from parking. Make sure you take your time to check all shops before buying as shop owners will try to catch your attention as soon as you start walking. Almost all shops are selling the same products and you can do your best bargain, so take your time and visit as many shops as you can before buying. Some shop owners are very rude as well but just ignore and move on. Few very good food shops for Pina colada, tequila and Churros.. there is family restaurant next to parking which make fresh tortillas for taco and it's nice.

Went here on carnival cruise. Lots of vendors trying to sell you stuff. Food stands kept giving out free samples like Costco. Blowhole was cool but crowded. Lots of things to do. Lots of fake designer stuff.

On the day we went it was super exciting. Lots of action with the ocean.. tide was extra high. People were getting soaked! Lots of shopping, lots of food, free tastes in the streets! Bathrooms were 😊👍. Way better than some here in California. Parking was close by and not expensive. It's a great day out with the family.

We drove here to view the free attraction. It was beautiful and fun. A great quick stop to experience the blowhole. Be prepared however, parking was 50 pesos and the bathrooms cost between 10-15 pesos to use. Lots of vendors selling souvenirs, alcohol, food etc.

One of the very best wineries in Valle de Guadalupe. Monte Xanic is a great place to enjoy wine tasting. The venue is beautiful and you can find yourself spending much time there. Our favorite wine is the Gran Ricardo. So delicious and it has the very best name out there. There is also a restaurant at the location that sits next to a small lake. Go on out there and see why the Gran Ricardo wine is so delicious.

Fantastic bottle service with a view of the pond. Some of the best wines in Valle, specifically calling out their award winning Sav Blanc. They do not offer tastings at the pond area, you can get tastings up in the main building with a reservation.

Loved the winery. It's a beautiful property and our guide Abril was great. You do need a reservation though. Tried to come here a year ago and was turned away at the gate. This time we had a reservation and tried some very good to great wines, for a tour of the winery, and were able to enjoy time just hanging out there. At the end they let us keep our wine glasses. The Gran Ricardo wine has some hype to it; tried it and it is worth it. Ended up taking a bottle home.

Beautiful view and great atmosphere. The staff was nice and knowledgeable about the wines. I wish they had small plates/appetizers options during wine tasting. There is a restaurant but reservation is needed. We asked for appetizers, which they didn’t have, but they were able to provide bread and pesto. Thank you!

The best winery we visited in Ensenada! This place is great, the quality of the wines and the amazing scenery makes this place a must visit while in Ensenada. We bought like 6 bottles to bring back home. Our favorite was the cab and the Sauvignon!

The best wine, service and experience in Valle de Guadalupe! Nicolas our tour guide was so kind, fun and friendly, he took the time to explain every little detail to us. The wines we tried were out of this world, if they were sold in Canada we would drink them everyday! We ordered the best charcuterie board I've ever had! I 100% recommend visiting this winery (and you'll definitely want to bring a jacket with you!)

What an incredible place. Monte Xanic was our favorite winery we visited in the area by far. Not only was the wine superb, and the views stunning, but our tour guide / wine tasting “guru” -Sara, really knew her stuff. She truly knew how to describe wine in a way that made us want to buy all of the bottles in the winery. The wine in an of itself though tasted delicious all the way down the line (I think we tried all of the ones on the tasting menu, plus the ones they served by the glass - ha!!) it’s also really cool to note that this winery was truly started by Mexicans for Mexicans which made it feel like a truly “Mexican wine” experience which I think is what we wanted to go for when we came to the area. We highly recommend this winery and we will definitely be back. Thanks Sara for being the perfect guide! Next time we come back, I hope you’re managing the place!! 😊

Service was outstanding in this winery, we had a great time and view. The wines were so great and so the cold dishes. Very kind staff. We had an amazing time here taking pictures, drinking and overall having a nice relaxing weekend. We did a reservation so our place was higher and more special. Overall great experience and would love to be coming back!

The tour was shorter than expected, but Alejandro made it feel as if we spent an entire, splendid day at Monte Xanic. Between the wine, history and environment you’re guaranteed a great time. Worth every moment and of time and money. We will be back soon!

Great service! The Xecue wine tasting was good (4 different wines; nice red wine). The venue was cozy and nice. They close a bit later than other wineries (7 pm). The cheese table was amazing. A must in Valle.

This place is getting too expensive! We came from Sonoma, Napa and the Russian River and brought some winemakers from the same area to visit. They did not even acknowledge us and we could not believe the prices for the littlest amount of wine we tasted. This winery made enough of a name now they don’t care about keeping their reputation plus racked the costs more expensive than Sonoma:

I went during Jan 12th weekend, so an off season, and was happy to find that although I did a reservation, I probably did not need one since it was not packed and had plenty of open seating & plenty of parking. Their view of the vineyards was very calming and pretty, and the server was friendly and attentive. Their steak was amazing, I would definitely come back just for that. Their sliders were also a good little appetizer but can def be a meal for one person if not shared. The road to get there was a dirt one and probably not well lit at night, but during the day when the sun is setting it's beautiful. The wines were very citrus based and was not the traditional red, white, or rose. This I think would be a great place if you are are willing/like to taste wines that are not "traditional" and looking for something new.

Indoor or outdoor seating options. Service was a bit impersonal here and wines for me were just so-so. Although, I didn’t do the “premium“ wine tasting option. Cheeseboard included a good variety. Lovely tasting room and outdoor area.

I'm a beer man, specially because any wine give me acid reflow, but I must say that this place is awesome and the wines really good. Acid reflow NONE, taste 100% good. Regarding food, I loved everything, the Jak Sliders, fish tacos, fried squid, etc.. all was amazing. 100% recommended!!!!

We arrived when they opened and was greeted by their friendly winery dog (pancho). Our dog and Pancho got along great so 5 stars for having a cutie like Pancho there, making this very dog friendly. Our server was Armando who was great although we had a slight misunderstanding. I had wanted to try the premium tasting (9 tastings) which i planned to share with my husband but instead he thought we wanted the young wine tasting. It was still a good experience but not my favorite as far as wine. Ambiance was very pretty and although it was raining the day we were there I can imagine on a warm sunny day this place is absolutely beautiful to enjoy. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Had a great time here tasting the wines. Since there were two of us we opted for both the regular and premium flights of wine tasting. Reasonably priced food with a limited menu. Lots of space to sit inside or outside over looking the valley. Ended up spending around 1.5hrs here- nice and relaxed. Thanks to Angel for the service and explaining the wines to us.

Vinos Xecue – enchanting & unforgettable We were looking for a new vineyard to try along the Wine Route at Valle de Guadalupe and found Vino Xucue was highly rated and looked lovely with a fully 360 degree experience we were looking for: and we were not disappointed. Martin was our sommelier and he took incredible care of us, speaking English so that most of our group could follow along. We ordered small bites that were simply indulgent: each bite was hand crafted onsite and tasted phenomenal. We weren’t rushed and took our time enjoying the 5-lable tasting. We wandered the grounds and soaked in the incredible scenery along the valley, the rolling hills filled with vineyards and punctuated with lavender to make the whole experience something out of a storybook. Martin took the time to help some in our party who had never before done a tasting, which was really helpful for me (not a novice but nowhere close to a pro). The wines were delicious, made all the more flavorful as learned the notes beforehand so our palates could get the cheat code. Even though there are so many wineries left to discover on The Wine Route in Ensenada, we would definitely return to Vino Xecue because the experience was simply unforgettable.

We had an amazing wine tasting at Xecue. Armando Garcia gave us wonderful service and did a great job explaining the wines and the Xecue language which they are helping preserve the history and culture in Valle. We loved the wines and live music and amazing views of Valle. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a reservation and arrived 15 min early. We were greeted by Armando (our sommelier - who was AMAZING) and we initially sat outside overlooking the vineyard. Beautiful and peaceful views. For the wine tasting, we came inside as it was chilly. There are 3 options you can choose from. 9 varieties white and red, 5 white varieties or 3 white, 2 red varieties. I have to say that Armando was absolutely lovely and attended us extremely well. He made it a wonderful experience and I do plan on returning. The wines were very nice and we went home with 2 bottles, one of Reserva and one Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a wonderful building with glass walls which allow you to appreciate the vineyard, valley and mountain view even from inside. I can highly recommend selecting this vineyard as one to visit when you are in the area. If you get Armando, he will be sure that you have a lovely time. Thank you!

I'm so glad to let everybody know that they are reopen to tours once again. Only thing to consider it is you have to make an appointment to guarantee your chance if you don't have time to wait. Great place and great people will always come back for a good relaxing time.

One of the biggest in the Valley but worth checking out, the wine was very tasty and the staff were very lovely.

Great tour and wine tasting. I really enjoyed being able to see and taste the grapes right off the vines, see the fermenting barrels and learn about the process of making wines. The tasting was informative as well and included cheese and breads to snack on.

I went Jan 12th weekend and there was about a 20 min wait for the tour to start but they run I think every 30 min. They have a cute mid sized wine bottle you can take pictures with and a nice little outside patio with a bar to be at while you wait for the tour. The tour itself is VERY informative, our tour guide Isaac was very informative and very friendly. When you purchase a tour ticket you also get a wine glass, keychain, and your choice of wine flight (prices vary but I highly recommend the cheapest one - great quality for the price). I went during an off season so I did not have to make a reservation and the tour was very personalized. The wine was GREAT and they were generous with their portions, they have a lot of different varieties here and was very reasonably priced! I would definitely come again and this was my favorite place to visit during my whole trip in Valle de Guadalupe.

Really nice winery. They have a very large operation and we enjoyed the tour that they provided. Fernanda was an excellent tour guide. The wine we tasted was also very delicious as well. I enjoyed their gift shop and purchased a really nice dominos set made out of wine barrels.

Definitely recommend taking a toor at this winery. The tour was well worth it. The wine tasting is included. They have parking and restrooms. They charge $70 pesos to get in. Great information from history, production,and to understand more about wine tasting .Well organized and at the end they have a nice art gallery from local artists.

El Museo de Vino is a great museum on the history of wine, first from Georgia (Europe) and then the history of wine making in Baja California. Very informative, lots to learn and see about the earliest production of wine around the world. Also, lots of art - paintings and ceramic pieces with and without a wine theme. Spent two hours here and it was worth it.

I really liked to visit the museum The building is good on the second floor there is a huge room where my little one was able to walk around and see the grapevine. Definitely I want to go back on summer time. The only thing was the elevator was not working and with a stroller was very difficult to go to the 2nd floor and then the exit door on the second floor were not working either so we have to go up and down and then up again with the stroller.

Great facilities in a privileged location. Nice decoration that riches the experience of the wine origin, elaboration, and tasting. Nice cafeteria with gourmet dishes.

It's a great place to find out how Mexican wine country began. Plenty of old artifacts from vineyards and plenty of information about the soil, grapes, and the vineyards in the area. The museum has jaw dropping views of the vineyard behind it. The museum would be a great venue for big art events or private parties with their second floor event space. Inexpensive entrance fee, you can add wine tasting to your ticket. Worth a visit to geek out. Oh, everything is in Spanish. Visit with a Spanish speaking friend or maybe it's time to learn a second language.

Nice museum, very clean, but small and you have to pay to get in. It can easily be toured in an hour. So if you're nearby, visiting the wineries, this can be a nice little stop to take a short break and get a few photos.

This place was packed on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The vibes are great. The food was delicious and the cocktails were also good. This was our third vinicola of the day so we wanted to take a break from drinking. This vinicola has great views so it's a great place to take your dates or spend your anniversary

If you want great views and/or come in a big group you will love this location but aside from the view nothing special here. Our waitress was kind but having to get up every time for our tasting was a hassle and the young lady pouring the tasting was short and dry which left no room to ask questions. Our entire group did not like any of the wines in our “mixta” tasting and were very disappointed. Aside from this, Decantos just felt very touristy and not intimate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Decantos Vinicola! The views from their location are stellar. We had a couple of glasses of wine each, and we purchased one of theirs pizzas. The wines were excellent, and the pizza was above average. Prices were very fair.

Decantos was a great wine tasting experience! We shared two tastings (4 whites and 4 reds, I believe) and then joined the (free) tour at 3:00 which lasted around 45 minutes. We got to go underground to where the wine is pressed and stored. The majority of those joining the tour were Spanish speakers so the guide did most of the presentation in Spanish but made sure to catch up with us at each spot to re-explain in English, which was so thoughtful!

Here is a great place to have a great wine and pizza. I advice to order a full bottle of wine which is around 400-500 pesos and it's great for 5-6 glasses of wine and a wheel cheese (rueda de quesos) *I'm not sure how it's called in English. But a bunch of treats to take along with your wine. Great views!!

Very hip and trendy. Tried to make a reservation, but they never replied to my email. There was nothing available in the shade outside so we had to sit in a very noisy, cool inside. It was … fine. Good people watching. Outside would have been lovely. Great views. Wine was excellent. When I went to purchase my Nebbiolo, I realized my four wine tasting didn’t even begin to scratch the surface of how many varietals they had!

Wines were exquisite. The charcuterie board has an assortment of cheeses dates and sausage along with warm bread. It's definitely a must to try. The staff is very knowledgeable in regards to the wines. And offered great recommendations. I did the mixta wine testing I bought 2 wine bottles, my friend bought 4 and sister bought 2. We will definitely be back. Oh and the view, gorgeous.

Took a family trip down to Ensénada to celebrate Memorial Day and also as an early birthday trip for myself. Never been wine tasting in Mexico but the misses keeps talking about it, so here was my change. This was the final local on our multi stop tour and we were delighted by the experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and what wines worked best with our food selection. All the staff was masked up and kept a solid distance to meet Covid-19 guidelines for the venue. The location has great views of the wine valley and several spots for a photo opt or two. Definitely will come back again.

My favorite winery in the Guadalupe valley, maybe in the world. Their tour is incredible and highlights their unique methods. Our guide during the tour and tasting was Octavio, ask for him if he's available. He's so passionate about what they are doing, fluent in English and Spanish and so helpful anytime we had questions about anything. Incredible experience.

Great place for a view of the Valle. The wine and service and grounds are excellent. Wine tasting is available but the best value is to pick out a bottle and drink it outside soaking up the views. All their wines are good! They also don't get fussy if you don't have a reservation. It's a perfect place to drop in, tune out and enjoy the wine is with a first class view.

The tour was the weirdest thing I experienced in a long time. They let you watch a random advertisement video and listen to some words in spanish in the next room. Wine is tasty tho and Diego a nice person.

My wife and I stopped by to taste some olive oil and wines. The property overlooks the valley with a great view. We had an excellent tasting with Frank. His knowledge of the long history of Santo Thomas back to the founder over 100 years ago was very impressive and interesting. You find yourself slowing down and enjoying his stories over wine and olives. Do yourself a favor and stop by this winery to learn the history of baja wines. It's impressive what the founders went through to bring over European vines to Baja.

It has a great view and a big wine selection. But that is all I would say is good about this place. The people that work here won't give you the tasting experience you will get at other places. The people are rude and this is seen on their low attendance. I would recommend other ones over this one.

I would have loved to stay longer in this place, the vineyard is beautiful, we made a reservation to eat, our dishes and drinks were delicious, but we had more activities planned and we couldn't stay that long to see the whole place, I hope to return soon.

Nice winery in a good location. I came to do some wine tasting and had a cheese board. I really enjoyed most wines except the pink, wasn't very fresh tasting, a bit dry for me. The cheese board was good and had a good variety on it , to go with the wine. I didn't reserve , so was offered a bad table, and it was so hot. Honestly I feel like they need better shade for there tables and some fans or something to help on really hot days. The view they have is really nice. I did buy a wine bottle, and have to say there prices are decent. Will definitely recommend, but if say it's better if you come when sun goes down.

Las Nubes Winery is a hidden gem in Mexico's wine country that deserves recognition. From delightful wines to breathtaking scenery, exceptional service, this winery offers an all encompassing experience.

Atmosphere and the view are incredible. I love sitting here and relax with a nice glass of wine. Staffs are wonderful. The only thing is I wish they keep the wine at room temperature instead of chilled.

5 stars for the wine tasting, 3 stars for the food truck. The lady that attended us at the wine tasting explained us everything about the wines. She was very friendly, the wines were really good and the price is definitely reasonable for the amount of glasses. Highly recommended. We then moved to the food truck but the service was very slow and not as good as at the wine tasting. The quality of the food was also a little disappointing.

We found this place accidentally on a Wednesday and enjoyed a wine tasting and tour of the interesting cellars, decided to stay for lunch in the lovely setting. The lunch was good, our party of 4 included vegetarians and we all found something we liked. The facilities seem to be enlarging as investment is pouring into the Valle.

Top notch winery, outstanding reds, friendly staff, very nice winery tour & tasting. Wines are a bit overpriced.

Perfect finale to our visit to Ensenada. On our way back north, stopped here for very good food, a tour of the wine-making process, and wine-tasting. Lupita our guide speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable, and is so nice. We bought two of the bottles we tasted.

Gorgeous and super large venue with several different spaces inside and outside, that for sure. The wines are hit or miss. Some were amazing and others were not so much. Our whole group did reds so I have no idea about the whites and chose not to do a tour. There are food options available if you need a bite. Our group enjoyed the cheeseboard.

The view is beautiful! They have many tours, even a helicopter tour. The drinks are great. The food not so great unfortunately, it was overpriced and not much flavor... If you like fine wine or other drinks, i recommend. But If you're hungry, maybe get a salad or pasta.

Had a great time visiting, the brief tour and tasting offered in both Spanish or English was good. Everyone we interacted with at the property was really friendly and welcoming. The wine was very good and would most definitely recommend and be back!

Incredible service provided by Valerie. She was friendly and gave us a lot of information during our tour of the underground cellars. Just a heads up - their website does not work. I booked a tour ahead of time via their website but when we arrived we were told that they never received it because of the website. Also if you were like me and came starving- just be aware the restaurant does not open till 1 pm.

3.5 stars. Good, not great. This review is for wine and food. We bought a bottle of their 2013 Zinfandel. It was okay, better with food. Maybe a bit corked. Personally, I wouldn't buy it again. We also shared a glass of their 2B blend (Sauv Blanc/Viognier), which had a flavorful taste. For lunch we started with the aguachile de camaron. Plentiful, spicy and tasty. We also shared their hamburger, which was delicious, but many of the steak fries were under cooked. Service was okay. The winery rep was kind, walked us to our table and explained a bit of the zin. Our restaurant server (whoever that was) was simply non - existent. Not sure what the cost of a tasting is, but this place has bottle pricing that rivals Napa, without the pedigree.

We came for the cart ride, but didn’t have reservations, so instead did the cava tour. Tours were offered in either English or Spanish. The winery has a beautiful below ground space both for wine making and tasting rooms (which we couldn’t use due to Covid). Our tasting was held following the tour on the front patio. Our guide was knowledge and able to answer all of our questions! I didn’t find a wine I loved enough to take home, but we had a fun experience!

The wine is very good. And with a good price. They have live music on weekends. This busy weekend I made a reservation, we had a great table and great time with our friends listening to Grosso Voce

The big deal here is sitting under a huge tree behind the property that’s set up for tastings. Not worth it if you don’t sit under the tree. Few shaded areas. Not much that’s attractive to the property other than the tree. Wine was fine though wouldn’t buy a bottle.

One of our favorite wineries in VdG. Every single one of their selections is amazing. Strongly recommended.

In this vineyard we taste the Magoni reserve “flag”, which includes an aperitif, a glass of: Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Syrah and Nebbiolo, the patio area is beautiful, they have some trees that provide a lot of shade, they have a store at the entrance, I think this winery has affordable prices, if you come on weekends there is live music.

Enjoyed our visit. The winery is relatively small, but has a very nice outdoor area under a huge oak tree where you can enjoy their wines. Reasonable prices to taste. We liked a couple of the wines we tried, but others were just ok. I would come back.

We had so much fun at the Magoni Winery. We had a fun wine tasting with a beautiful cheese and bread board. We kept our glasses to remind us of the warm January day, sitting under the giant tree, tasting wine and eating delectables. We would go back in a heartbeat 💓

I had a great experience today. The atmosphere was great, they had live music, we enjoyed the place very much staff was super nice we were a little sad some of the food was sold out but we tried their pizzas and salads will go back to try more items ...they have a cute store that sells jams,hot sauce,bread,and other cute souvenirs.. we had the honor to meet Dona Lupe she's an amazing person who took the time to talk to us and made us feel very welcome. we also met her son very nice family for a reason. This place has been open for years...agree can use some updates, but it still was a great relaxing place ...look forward to going back again

My wife and I visited with a wine tasting group excursion. This winery is not at all prepared for a group (2 busses showed up). There was a big line to a single wine serving "station", served samples in plastic cups(!?), no information at the tasting about the varietals or the winery. All the reds I tasted were very, very young and not ready to drink. I tried a nebbiolo, shiraz, pinot noir, and cabernet sauvignon. None had any nose at all, and only one was remotely drinkable for me. I did not try any sweet wines. The grounds are pretty, but I can't see any reason to try his winery again even on a solo visit. Maybe if you like sweet wines or whites they might have something for you. They did have live music which was nice, but other than that and the view there was nothing for me here.

This was the first stop on a cruise excursion we did. They gave out some food sampling with the wine samples. The Pizza sample was good and I’m not a big wine drinker they seemed OK. There was no direction on the wines or information about them, just sit and sample. Caught the show they put on and was entertaining.

And this Vinyard is just as amazing, with live entertainment both inside and outside, fun and relaxing atmosphere and food was great. Eat a Hawaiian pizza with was thin crusts freshly and organic made topping. Also had a veggi lasagna and tasted fantastic. I also enjoyed the wine samples (not free) is a total of 5 or 6 cups of different wines you can select bitter or sweet or mix. I select the sweet and it the person put them from less to most sweet. Had a great and pleasant experience and price was not bad cheaper than US restaurants. You can also buy some of the organic products and wine. The location was very clean and service was great. Highly recommend this place!👍🏼

We were craving pizza ( I know, such a bad thing while in Mexico keeping in mind the exquisite Mexican cuisine). Still, we went for it. We googled pizzas and this restaurant had good reviews. We adventured! Getting there it was quite confusing since there are no signs. We speak Spanish so we got there by asking people. The place was empty as you can see but for the size of the place you can tell they get crowded. The pizza was alright, nothing spectacular. It did the job. But the place and location is amazing. We had a very pleasant and serene experience first time wine tasting there. The aroma of the fresh Barbacoa and delicious wine selections and cheeses were just the right pairing! They also had a violinist live which was a very nice and laid back touch. Can’t wait to go back. We actually brought some tasty souvenirs from their gift shop as well.

We spent Sunday afternoon at La Casa de Dona Lupe in Valle de Guadalupe, the wine region of Baja California. It's a great place to visit and spend the day eating great food, listening to live music, taking in a great view of the vineyard, and just having a great time.

The experience was great! The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. The scenery is beautiful. The talent is amazing. The food is ok. But please be careful when buying the jams. I bought 3 to take home. I opened one up and the top had mold. The second one had mold on the lid so I tossed it too. I was very disappointed.

Had a fantastic Mexican experience with mariachi and festive dancing. Learned the history of how Maragritas got their name. We had a free sample with our tour and it was so good we got one to enjoy during the performance.

If you're into Mexican history, you will Love this spot!! I'm not at ALL, & still quite liked it. I felt a little creeped tho, like the place was haunted (with kind spirits), but I still enjoyed the amazing artistry (particularly ceilings) & the free margaritas that came with it.

Took a tour of this amazing building on a tour. learned some of the history of the area. It was very interesting RJ was our tour guide on a bus trip of the area. RJ is a very beautiful woman and knows her city's history.

This place was beautiful. The whole area is nicely maintained with interesting monuments put up all over the place. There are of course a ton of shops and stands where you can buy all kinds of things. We visited the museum there, which was free, and learned a lot of cool things about the history of Ensenada. Also, the building was beautiful I would definitely recommend stopping there if you're in the area.

Beautiful cultural center in the central zone of Ensenada. There is a great museum and little bar with a great outdoor patio. They serve 2 for 1 margaritas on Wednesdays for $5

Beautiful and well taken care of place. You can walk around the grounds and inside if it's open. They have a little market as well inside. Highly recommended visiting here especially if you're visiting Ensenada.

Great historic place. Although most of the venue was closed during my visit, I enjoyed the open sections. I will definitely return to check out the entire place on the future.

Beautiful place full of memories and history, you can almost hear the stories echo in the areas you can visit. I loved the painted ceilings, the place to have a drink after exploring. Shame the beautiful tiled fountains did not work.

You can't possibly go to ensenada without checking out this location! It is arguably the home of the original margarita! Either way, our margarita was great and the service was as well.

Beautiful historic building. Larger than it seems from outside. Formerly a casino from back in the 30s. Now popular for social events like weddings. The bar serves some fine drinks.

service here was not good, they didn’t explain Nothing about their wine. they just gave us a seat and they ask if we we’re ready to order. We order 3 different glasses of wine and one of them taste it like vinegar, and it had a lot settlements, and when we ask they said that don't filter that wine. But they didn’t offer to exchange it. The girl just said some people like it but is not my favorite. We left the wine there. The waiter didn’t care if we were happy or not. We went to other wineries and the experience was totally different.

We came upon ALXIMIA serendipitously, following our lunch at a nearby restaurant. We were very grateful for the accident. Alvaro and Lidia treated us to a tasting and shared the history of a family taking a chance and working together. They have solidly great wines. The Sauvignon was crisp and one of our favorites. The cab was also excellent.

Not a very popular winery yet, has only been here 9 years. But checked it out to try some wine and also had a cheese board. We got the package with 1 white wine and 2 reds. The wine was good and paired well with cheese board. I wish the cheese board bad more bread or pesto or even jam, because it did have a good variety of cheese but not much to pair it with. They also need to work on there parking lot, because you need to park outdoors and no signage as to where. They do have a small indoor gift shop with a variety of items to purchase from hats to jam to magnets and jewelry, but under staff. Not enough staff to cover all the areas they had for amount of people when I waa there. But so love the fact they had TV showing the history of the winery.

FANTASTIC place!! Held our welcome drinks reception here for a wedding party of 140 and we were so happy with it that a number of people went back the next day. Both owners, particularly Nydia, were welcoming and warm. They were knowledgeable about wine and agreed to stay open late for our group to have the place to itself. The wines were delicious, the place emphasizes sustainable winemaking, and they have hammocks and petanca/bocce ball. Can't recommend them enough; we will definitely be back.
