We had an excellent visit here recently. We were welcomed in and tried the liqueur and cocktails (really reasonable) and bought a few to take home. This is a place that has fun at heart but its backed up with great drinks options and staff. Steve had us in stitches as soon as we sat down but also talked us through all the drinks and mixer options for each. Looking forward to returning soon to try the cafe and more delicious drinks.

My partner I accidentally drove in and was pleasantly surprised. We did some tasting and the staff at the brewery were an absolute joy to be around, so funny, relaxed and welcoming. The rum and espresso martini’s were just devine, and the best we had ever tasted. Will be going back and recommending to all out family and friends. Thanks Steve - you were the highlight of our stop. Went here a few weeks ago for a drink and absolutely loved it! Location is amazing, enjoyed some tasty cocktails overlooking the vineyard and dam. Staff were super welcoming and excellent service. They even offer bottled cocktail recipes to take home

The establishment itself is lovely, not a bad selection of drinks at all; however, the owner Steve was appalling. A man of his age should understand respect and kindness. We had a winery tour take us and not only was he drinking on the job but he berated our tour guide in front of us about us. This was the last winery of our day and the one we looked most forward to noting it was cocktails... however only tasting two exceptionally sweet cocktails was disappointing. I further paid $10 to receive less than the 15ml serving as he ran out and I quote "only have two bottles left which I will be selling and not opening for your tasting" but did not further discount my less than adequate serving.

Had an awesome experience at the Grove distillery with a group of international friends some non-in English speaking on a bit of a work/a holiday trip. The personnel were more than accommodating and very professional. With one on ones with everyone in our group we left satisfied and a couple of bottles heavier if you’re down Margaret River way, I’d advise you to make a stop.

5/5 stars for everything. We came out here on a public holiday, it was open so we sat for a liquor tasting and a tasting plate. The service was absolutely amazing 6/5 stars, the two lovely ladies behind the bar went above and beyond to accomodate us. They engaged in conversations with us not only regarding the liquor but about our lives as well, making us feel super comfortable and happy. The liquor was incredible, we all walked away with at least one bottle. The tasting plate was incredible as well, the flavours were balanced beautifully and was enough for 3 adults. I couldn’t recommend the grove more.

Such an amazing place to visit!! The scenery is beautiful, with seating views of the lake and vineyard, and we ordered the dip platter, with multiple homemade dips and fresh soft and crunchy bread. The service was also fantastic, with the host being very knowledgeable with tastings and drinks, and very funny. The quality of the drinks offered was much higher than what is usually commercially available, and they really care about service. Definitely a place you must visit!!!

Not sure about the rooms, didn't stay there. But a big rating and recommendation for Elizabeth, she was awesome. Bloody good spirits and beer, served by Elizabeth, her personality is contagious. She is one of the few people in this world that can, just by their presence, make you feel good. I highly recommend a visit to The Grove.

Just stayed in the wonderful Chardonnay chalet, it was fantastic and spacious, very secluded feeling with wonderful views from your spa looking out over the vineyards. Everything you need for a home away from home feeling was included and we were extremely happy and relaxed staying here. Just what we needed!

The staffs there were super friendly! The atmosphere was good, also nice views. We ordered pizza and chips, both were delicious! The portion size is generous. Highly recommend their cocktails and liqueur, especially the Turkish delight! The liqueur tasting experience was fantastic, they would not only let you taste the liqueur itself, but also showed you the other recommended ways to drink it. For example, after tasting the Turkish delight liqueur, some ginger ale and cream were added to make it a lovely cocktail, which was marvellous! The coolest thing was, we didn't feel any pressure to buy stuff at all. Would love to come back when visiting Margaret River next time.

excellent service, could not ask for a better experience. the two ladies working the bar were lovely and extremely helpful, they went out of there way to accommodate our very large group. the landscape is beautifully manicured, and combined with the lovely service makes this a must stop for any trip.

We stayed in the Bungalow for a weekend get away we found the property clean and well presented. Walked down to the distillery for taste testing the staff was very helpful on explaining to us how everything was made and what barrel each one came from the interior of the distillery is amazing and the gardens are gorgeous. Will definitely be back there.

Arrived at the Grove on Saturday with a group of 13 without a booking and despite being very busy, the owner opened up another bar area to accommodate us with a tasting session. He then gave my wife the biggest glass of bubbles she has ever had as it was her birthday!! The Grove has an amazing selection of liqueurs and would highly recommend visiting this establishment. Thanks The Grove a great experience.

Lovely peaceful accomodation, quiet location. Comfortable beds. Appropriate heating and spa was an added bonus overlooking trees and vineyard. Distillery added another element to the experience with yummy cocktails.

My wife and I just had one of the best tasting experiences, our lovely lady behind the bar was so knowledgeable about their product, and had us laughing all the way. 100% would recommend for anyone in the area. Will be back for more delicious single malt whiskey and a good banter.

Absolutely beautiful location, service we received from the staff (Pam) was second to none, and there was the Whiskey well that’s a whole nother ball game I rate their to be the best you’ll ever have the pleasure of tasting. So do yourself a favour and make a visit to the Grove Distillery and have a dram or two of their Whiskies,

I visited with a group of 10 and the two ladies working at the time were very accomodating of us. They were genuine and easy to get along with and showed an interest in us as people. They definitely knew what they were talking about and even though I didn’t do any of the tastings because I was a driver, I learnt a few tips and tricks about cocktail making that I can take home with me and I purchased 4 bottles of liqueurs to try in my own cocktails at home. This is definitely a must stop place for any trip! I look forward to next time when I will not be driving and can take part in the tastings!

Nice location in the heart of the wine lands - very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful setting. Rooms were cold and no provision for heating them. The host was very rude over message. Locked the 3rd bedroom to "avoid cleaning charges" even though we booked 3 bedrooms, and then proceeded to tell me where my baby should sleep to avoid opening it on request. No WiFi, and no food available at all - despite advertising restaurant and cafe. Not impressed with the service and attitude. But otherwise, a nice stay.

Online order this time though I have been and stayed onsite several times and highly recommend it. The delivery was well packaged and arrived quickly, if you are unable to get down there I highly recommend jumping on the website and putting in an online order. Thanks again!

A place we visit regularly when in the region! This place always lives up to our expectations. Upon tasting the rum, whisky and gin (at a small cost) by the educated employees. With large and small bottles to suit everyone’s budget. Don’t miss out!

Amazing place and great experience! We bought a wine tasting tour with Richard ( if I remember well the name) and he was such a helpful person. The staff have amazing knowledge of the tours and finished having an amazing experience.

Amazing staff. Got us booked in for our overnight stay within 5 minutes. Also gave us options on where to eat for the night. The visitor centre is beautifully presented, could use a few more local products (although it has a great range, there is quite a few brands that are over East based.) Also conveniently located and we'll signposted.

Very helpful staff and a credit to the region. We were stuck and didn't know if our accommodation would be available. Without asking one of the staff was searching for alternatives if we needed them. Good information about the region as well.

Large, modern visitor centre located along the Bussell Highway at the bottom of town. Off street parking available at the rear. A very wide range of souvenirs, gifts and local tourist information. Friendly and knowledgeable staff help make this a good place to plan your Margaret visit from.

We were a group of 4 looking for information on venues for wine tasting and lunch. I would like to say a big thank you to Richard who gave us a wonderful recommendation and even booked it for us although that is not the information centre's job. He also suggested itineraries for days out and some excellent walks. He made our stay in Margaret River very special

We just went in for some help because we had no idea what to do while here for 2 days & Christine was absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable and asked simple easy questions to give us fantastic recommendations. Hands down made a daunting task of planning things effortless. Thankyou so much Christine!

The ladies here are all lovely. Very friendly and helpful. There is a large array of maps and brochures for both around the Margaret River region and also further afield. There is a good range of souvenirs and other products on offer.

TECHNOLOGY TO HELP! A great centre for visitors. WHY? - Has a VR experience that visitors can use to experience the caves and lighthouse - there is a screen which you can navigate through and as if you were on your phone looking at google maps. - the toilets were clean - staff were friendly - it had a range of lovely gifts for souvenirs - lots of tours and wineries advertised through posters and pamphlets

Nice staff providing loads of useful information. A free map showing all wineries in the area is helpful if anyone wants to visit on his own.

Great service, most friendly staff and right in the heart off Margaret River. Free Wi-Fi and toilets extra were a bonus.

Sunflower farm is an awesome place to visit for those with kids. The place is well kept for a farm, and the animals are friendly. The joey, sheep and cow/goat calf pens are open to public and the kids get to interact directly with them. Try to time your visit with some of the feeds, as it adds to the experience for the kids. Managed to catch the joey feeds and bottle fed and carried a joey. There are other animals around the farm to feed, who are more than happy to gobble up the food in the baskets that are made available to visitors. Emu, ostrich, hog, horses, cows, goats, alpaca/llama, chickens/peasants are part of their stable of animals.

We had a really nice time. Great outing for the kids. Only thing missing is maybe a map of where the animals are, so you can go straight to the animals you want to see (excited toddlers mainly asking to see ducks).

We thought it would be a nice family activity during our holidays, but we left feeling sad after seeing the animals. Some appeared lonely, and there was an excess of food; some animals seemed overfed while others appeared to be hungry. I can't recommend visiting there.

Recently stayed here in the North chalet with my family, the chalet could do with a little a TLC. Fly screens require replacing as the bugs just come through at night, furniture is a bit outdated and rundown too. Bathroom was fine. Overall it is not very inviting. No aircon available in this chalet which it could do with in summer, as there is no airflow and when you open the windows and the bugs just come straight in. Also my niece had a cockroach in her bed so it was a bit off putting. My sister was ready to pack up the first night, however I convinced her to look past it and just enjoy the weekend around Margaret River. The animal farm we cannot fault it was great to go out and see the animals within our own time and to not to be surrounded by outside guests. Our kids loved the animals and the view was good from the chalet too. If a little bit more effort was put into accommodation it would be a great staycation for a lot of Perth people. Just a little let down with the accommodation. Note - Also cleaning the dangling webs off the roof would go along way too and get rid of the portable water dispenser as the water looks green. As this gives me the impression it's not cleaned thoroughly after each stay. Cheers

Really enjoyed our outing here. Crushed gravel walkways and fenced off animal enclosures made walking thru the farm a joy. Entrance fee and feed bucket separate but well worth it...the animals loved the food provided in the feed buckets. Friendly animals who love being petted and very accommodating owners. Went in the morning (you can expect to spend a few hours here) and came back in the afternoon to bottle feed the babies...just keep your wristbands and you won't have to pay entrance fees again. 2 toilets on-site and an outdoor sink to wash your hands. Well enjoyed day and worth a visit.

Animals are in such poor condition, the horses were wind sucking which is a behavioural issue usually caused by Boredom, the long billed corellas beak is over grown and can’t close its mouth, the vines pigs enclosures where completely soiled and the kangaroos shelter had no bedding only hard rocks to sleep on. Would be a great place if their animals weren’t miss-treated

It was a nice visit and it was wonderful seeing all the animals.Loved feeding the animals as they were so adorable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Sunflower farm is a great little farm. You can buy a bucket of food to go around and feed all the adult animals. They have a variety of animals including a deer which I had never seen before! One of the alpacas did spit at my boyfriend but I guess that's just what they do. You have the opportunity to play with the baby animals also which was my favourite part!

An Animal Lover's Paradise in WA! I've visited this farm twice and it's a huge hit with my kids. From kangaroos and horses to highland cows and ostriches, the variety of animals is simply amazing. Love the option to purchase a food bucket; the handy instructions on the fences make feeding them a breeze. Don't miss the milk-feeding sessions for baby sheep and cows! With ample parking and easy walking paths, this farm offers a delightful experience for the whole family. Highly recommend for a memorable day out.

We loved our morning here. The animals look well cared for and the staff were friendly. Hold a chick or Guinea pig, touch some baby animals, and feed some friendly creatures. Make sure you bring your hat as some of it is out in the sun. 6 & 1 year old thought it was great. We easily spent 1.5 hrs here

Really great for kids/toddlers, lots of animals to see and interact with. Not far at all from Margaret River centre (10 min or less) and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, showing us new animals. Bonus that they have some Simmos icecream there in the shop!

Was so amazing at this animal farm being able to have the hands on opportunity to pat and cuddle the animals! The staff are so friendly and the animas are so cute, we even got to help out with the bottle feeding of baby joeys, cows, lambs and goats! Was so adorable. This animal farm was also very cost friendly.

What a magical place! We all had such a wonderful time with all the animals. They have plenty of space to enjoy their life. highly recommend to everyone. It was a fantastic experience!

We enjoyed our time at the animal farm. My daughter had an absolute ball! Make sure to pack sunscreen and a wide brim hat, as the sun really beats down on you while you’re walking around from pen to pen. Only criticism about the park is one of the kangaroo joeys seemed quite stressed at one point and couldn’t access its pouch to take some time out from all the attention. If I could make one suggestion to the keepers is that the pouches are suspended on a hook in an area maybe designated so they can climb into them when they need to and take some time out. Otherwise it was a lovely family experience.

It's not a hotel, it's for children to come and pet animals and feed animals. Pretty decently sized and sufficient animals. Not much by way of guidance. The bigger animals further back are hungrier if you're looking for something to feed. Could do with definitely better facilities like proper washrooms, more seating and rest areas. I mean come on it's not free entry and you're obviously catering to kids and families. Sheesh. Little off the ways to Busselton town, which is where the nearest food is.

Such a great place to take the kids. Our girls (4 & 6) loved feeding the animals and were there for the 10am feed of the babies so got to feed them some milk. A must visit if going through busselton.

A clean and lovely farm for kids and toddlers. My boy had great time feeding the animals. There were signs explaining the names of animals and what they like to eat. You can also pat some of the baby animals.

Parents with kids and teens (age 10, 16, 18) must come. They love it very much. Saw many younger children also enjoyed it. Suggest to come early in the morning like 9am. Animals are very hungry and will be very interactive with children.

Legitimate animal neglect. Only the most basic of needs met. Mice running all over. Caged chickens with overgrown nails due inabality to forage and scratch. infested with stick fast fleas. Single, lonely animals. Enclosures are to small in many situations. I'd warrant a vet has not been through in a long time. Not a great place for true lovers of animals. Left feeling sad.

Lots of really cute animals and some baby animals. Just a bit disappointed with the facilities, a little bit of green grass in a shady spot would have been good. Very dry and dusty. But great for kids and would recommend you go in spring, autumn or early winter not summer.

Did a tour through here, was enjoyable seeing and petting a lot of the animals you wouldn't see very often. Would recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen since you'll be out in the sun for most of the time as there's not too much shade, but they do have umbrellas at the front to help.

For a place that charges 4yr old the same price as an adult, you'd at least think they would have toilet facilities other than a porta loo available on a 40C that is sitting in full sun. Also don't expect to find the playground that you see in the pictures. Its a few old plastic type toddler play pieces.... also in the sun. I honestly walked around feeling disgusted in myself for supporting a company that cages animals. 2 absolutely stunning blue & yellow Macaws in a tiny cage with no trees, only a couple of thick branches for them to play on and 85% of the metal cage in full sun. The bucket of feed we paid for was old stale bread and a soggy old piece of what I'm guessing was lettuce or possibly cabbage. Sunflower Animal Farm needs to spend more of the profits on the animals enclosure and ensure the animals are happy & healthy, as from the outside they look far from it!!

We had a great time spending time together as a family feeding animals and looking at the birds. The staff and animals were so friendly! Great holiday activity!

Set on a gorgeous property, Leeuwin estate is a very homely and rustic feeling winery. We only managed to doing wine tasting and couldn’t enjoy the wonderful lunch that everyone is raving about because they are fully booked. So do remember to book and reserve weeks in advance! The sommeliers were very well versed in introducing the different wine during the tasting and we ended up buy a bottle to enjoy back in our accommodation.

I paid for the experience of Wine and Art for $45 and it was totally worth it! Me and my family had a wonderful experience understanding about different kind of wines. We had Cameron serving us, and he did an excellent job explaining from production, art, to wine profiles. The wine were amazing and having the idea of what happened during harvest time to the difference of the wines taste, makes the experience perfect. This is not my first time visiting winery and I will definitely recommend this to others.

Really great lunch in this sprawling estate with beautiful grounds. Food was really interesting and beautifully prepared and presented. Estate wines a perfect match. Photos are: asparagus, cuttlefish, scallops, lamb, fish, raspberry dessert, cheese, the interior and the exterior. A lovely, sophisticated space.

Beautiful estate. Big riot of kookaburra in charge of the lawn! Wine was lovely, we had a wine tasting and our sommelier was fabulous.

Beautiful setting. Service was superb. Very well trained staff. Wines were excellent. Food good. My starter of scallop crudo missed the mark (bland and missing the crab) but main of snapper (pictured) was top notch. Cheese dish to finish was quite unique.

The food was reasonably priced for what you get. The taste was unforgettable and incredible. The service was amazing and everything was worth it. The wine was beautiful. Amazing place to go. Bring the whole family (even the kids).

Stopped off at Leeuwin estate just before the cellar door closed. Luckily we were able to have a few samplers before purchasing a couple bottles. As we were late and restaurant already closing we were still able to sit outside and enjoy our newly purchased delicious bottles, along with the great view and the setting sun. Will definitely be back to sample more of the wine and the food menu next time.

Awesome. Took friends from the Gold Coast here. Was amazing end to end. We had the set menu with museum wine pairing. Service was excellent from Bella and even when the kitchen stuff up my fish they dishes it back up and also gave me the matched wine again. Beautiful views, fantastic food and the wines were good as well. Highly recommended.

Leeuwin is the top winery of all the wineries we visited in Margaret River. The art series chardonnay, especially the aged ones, is probably the best chardonnay I've had in a while. We did the lunch with wine pairing which felt more like wine with lunch pairing, as the wines really stood out when accompanied by the food. If you have only time for one winery in Margaret River, this is the one you want to go to.

We had a reservation at Leeuwin Estate for lunch and we arrived early and were able to taste all of their current wines at no extra cost before the lunch. The lunch went for about 2 hours with courses spaced out with enough time to thoroughly enjoy them. Paid $115 each for a 3 course set menu. Nice staff who have great knowledge about the food being served.

We had a fantastic experience in the restaurant - well thought out menu paired with impeccable service and, of course, excellent wines. We went for the museum wine pairing which was a very special experience and matched perfectly with the food. We were specially impressed with the vegan options - the barley-mushroom-caulini dish was exceptional! We'll be back for more!

Visited Leeuwin Estate from Melbourne with my partner for tastings and lunch on a beautiful mid – February Monday. Weather was stunning matching the aesthetic of the estate. Wine Tasting: Despite being a walk-in, we were greeted with open arms and availability and were treated to a very comprehensive and knowledgeable tasting. The sommelier Chenae provided exceptional cellar door service. She had extensive knowledge, friendly demeanour and provided tailored recommendations appropriately. She advised we sample lunch with paired wines that were excluded from the tasting to experience the full breadth of range at Leeuwin. The wine was so good we returned for a second tasting of the Museum wines post lunch. Paired Seasonal Lunch: We had the 6 course seasonal lunch menu with paired wines. All of the food and wine was exceptional and our waitress Marina provided both compliments and service of the highest quality. Started with sourdough with cultured butter and a Chef’s canape which was inhaled thus didn’t get a chance to take a photo. First course was a Scallop Crudo which was delicate and light paired with a Riesling. Second course was Stracchino paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. Third course was Fish paired with a Chardonnay. Fourth course was Margaret River wagyu with was tender and buttery paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon. Fifth course was a dramatic blueberry dish. Sixth course was the Cambray reserve cheddar with cornbread and spiced raisin. An interesting interpretation of a cheeseboard which was light and delightful to the senses. Gallery: Explored the gallery to digest the delicious lunch and tastings. The collection featured landscape works of Australian Art Modernists including Albert Tucker and Arthur Boyd. Leeuwin also have a service that ships your wine home which is handy for interstate visitors. Naturally we bought a case to take advantage. A wonderful sensory experience that we would highly recommend to those visiting the Margaret River region

We were so excited to attend this winery but felt the service fell flat. The grounds were gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed the Wines outside the gallery.

For me, a trip to Margaret River is never complete without a visit to Leeuwin Estate for lunch. This time, we had the tasting menu paired with icon wines.

If you are traveling wineries around Margaret river, it is a must visit one... Normally in the region, tasting is 10aud but after tasting if you buy a bottle, they dont charge you for a tasting. But here at Leeuwin Estate it is a bit different and tricky... Tasting menu has 3 section. Entry level wines are free to taste, art series are 10 aud but they dont refund it even you buy a bottle from the series and last icon wines, they are 10 aud to taste each, but they refund it if you buy a bottle which is around 100 aud. To be honest noone visit here for entry wines, so you end up paying 20 aud just for tasting... Be aware of that :) Apart from this, the estate is huge and you should spend couple of hours at least to enjoy.... Cheers

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River and I must say, it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I went with some friends from the Perth and we were blown away by the exceptional service and beautiful views. We opted for the set menu with museum wine pairing and it was truly a delightful combination. The food was fantastic, and even when there was a slight mishap with my fish dish, the kitchen quickly rectified the situation and even provided me with an extra glass of the perfectly matched wine. Speaking of wine, Leeuwin Estate is definitely at the top of its game when it comes to wineries in Margaret River. The art series chardonnay, especially the aged ones, left a lasting impression on me. In fact, it's probably the best chardonnay I've had in a while. The wine pairing during our lunch felt more like a harmonious symphony of flavors, with the wines truly standing out when enjoyed alongside the delectable food. Not only was the estate itself absolutely gorgeous, but the staff were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel at ease and were willing to go above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The art gallery downstairs was an added bonus, showcasing beautiful art pieces that were once featured as wine labels. If you only have time for one winery in Margaret River, Leeuwin Estate should be at the top of your list. It offers a prestigious selection of fine wines, stunning food, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend the ultimate experience package for an unforgettable visit. Amazing place! Kids friendly got some fun rides, plenty of sitting place, you can watch your kids wherever you sit! Pet friendly, our dog loved it here, walk-ins are welcome, fries were very and yummy! What else do you need!! All in all relax with your favourite glass of beer or wine!

The food is amazing! The Crispy Pork Belly is a must try… succulent meat, melt-in-mouth fats, with the right amount of crisp…. Heavenly. For non-meat lovers, the Vego plate served with toasted Turkish bread is perfect! The meat lover pizza is the best meat lover pizza I’ve had.

Dog + kids friendly. Lots of outside seats and a great playground. Lovely lake and surrounds. This was our second time, as we know it would be a stable option for both the furry one and the little one. I was sad to see the menu changed from our last time here, I was really hoping to get their korean fried chicken which I loved during our last visit!l They didn't even have the pizza for lunch so menu choices were quite limited. Burgers were good and came out quickly. Would be great if they had more non-alcoholic options in the future.

Booked in for lunch on a Saturday. Party of four for a family lunch. The setting is beautiful, lots of green grass, trees, a small lake, and kids playground. When we arrived staff were so friendly and welcoming, there was a great, fun vibe to the place. The menu is among the best in the area for the choice of food, we ordered the Cheeseburger pizza, Steak Sandwich & Chicken Tenders, could not fault the food, it came out quickly and it all tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

We had a lazy Tuesday afternoon at Cheeky Monkey. The service was great. The menu was easy and laid back. The surroundings were stunning on a beautiful March day. The beer, ginger beer and rosé were really tasty. Meg in the cellar door was the BOMB!!! Such a breath of fresh air!!! Had a few tastings and settled on a bottle of the Di Latte Estate La Famiglia 2019 Cab Malbec which we’re now enjoying at home. Highly recommend Cheeky Monkey for a chilled and relaxing brewery. 😌

Place was busy, staff were friendly. Unfortunately food was extremely average. And no pizzas on the menu that day (it was midday on Sat),which was a let down. The view was amazing but wouldn't go for the food alone.

Delicious beers (go the hard core paddle) and the falafel bowl was fantastic. So disappointed one of us had to drive home (responsibly) or we would have hooked in for hours.

Lovely place to visit with friendly staff, good vibes and scenic surroundings. The burgers are on point, chicken crispy and tender. Drinks are delicious, would like to see a cheeky monkey cider or two!

Wow what a ripper venue!! First time here, kids were amped about the massive play area. Loved their picnic basket choice of lunch, fruit popcorn and chunks of cheddar. We shared both their ‘hard core’ and ‘soft core’ paddles, both excellent. Stand out beer was the limited release and dangerously crushable (9%) east cape hazy. Finger licking pork belly was a monsterous serve, wings were equally delicious. Actually really good prices on food. Bartender Jack was super helpful making our selection and Zoe relaxed and helpful when I made a mistake on the QR ordering. We normally don’t lounge for so long at a place but the atmosphere and views were gorgeous, shady area for our Bub and kids to hang out. Glad to continue to support you guys at our local bottle shop, cheers! 🍻

I visit WA every year from the UK as an old mate of mine emigrated here and we always head to the Marg for a weekend. Cheeky Monkey is our favourite first stop off - friendly staff, great service and most of all excellent beer. Plus they always humour us when we ask for a photo of a random British light entertainer from the 80’s to be placed on the table!

We booked ahead for Easter lunch. I took my three children and my niece and nephew. We were given a table with stools (not appropriate for small children) the tables with stools are close to other tables and I kept bumping the people at the neighbouring table trying to settle the kids in. When asked for a different table we were shown a smaller table (for four but could add three chairs). It’s not easy taking five children out, but anywhere else would’ve been less stressful and more doable. If you are booking specify your table or your needs as much as possible beforehand or you might end up squashed on a stool like my family.

The beers are amazing and the food was delicious. Have been waiting to try this place for a while and wasn't disappointed. Visited on a Friday, it wasn't super busy and staff was very friendly. The grounds are well maintained and look stunning. Will definitely come back for more.

The view throughout the drive here was spectacular, only to be disappointed by a small beach covered with smelly mountains of seaweed and naked children running around. Don't waste your time coming here. Much cleaner and better beaches even in Perth!

Dog friendly beach access isn’t too friendly for dogs. Black recycled plastic boardwalk is hotter than the road surface. Needs to be redone from treated pine like most other beach access in Australia, or removed and left as a sand track. Not good for travelling Doggo’s compared to other dog beaches around Australia.

It's a great beach, long and sandy, not very busy on a midweek visit, plenty of parking and lots of friends enjoying the walks and the scenery

Ok beach near MR town. It’s got a lot of seaweed on the shore but ok for a little play in the water or fishing off the jetty. There is a restaurant right on the beach too but we arrived at sunset and it was closed so not sure how good it is. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but I would go if you want to take the kids to a close calm beach for a short time. I’m guessing it’s more of a local place not a tourist stop.

This is a great spot to come for a swim or have a coffee or something to eat I found it nice and relaxing and the views are really nice there was a fair bit of seaweed on the beach but apart from that everything else looks really good you could even hire some boards to go out to me it looks really good from mwh

Beautiful beach for walking there’s a nice footpath behind the dunes that can take you all the way to Surfers Point and the River Mouth. At times there can be clumps of seaweed washed up and it can be a bit rocky. Your best bet is going for a dip in front of the White Elephant Cafe. Great for paddle boarding.

While on our trip to Margaret river, we could help but stop off at gnarabup beach, for a swim 🏊‍♀️ , and our son enjoyed building sand castles . Afterwards we popped to the white elephant for a cold coffee and bite to eat. The staff where very polite but down to earth. In the harsh times where in, every was very respectful of the 1.5m COVID spacing and all using the COVID safe wa app. The food was good and the prices where reasonable. It’s got views on views that money can’t buy. I’ll definitely be returning again to both the beach & white elephant cafe

Lovely wine tasting experience by the English ( i think) lady and man whi bought the winery. They were absolutely lovely hosts and provided us with stories and histories of the wine. Wine was just so lovely. Will definitely be back! The food wasn't too bad either. Well cooked but just needed a little more seasoning for my taste.

Had a fantastic birthday lunch at this lovely winery and cafe last week . The service was outstanding with some very friendly and helpful ladies to assist us. Large servings for a good price , the fish was cooked perfectly and served with vegetables. My vegetarian friend was well catered for and the desert plate , complete with candles and sparklers was a delight . Definitely recommend for a tasty , affordable and delicious lunch or breakfast .

Went along with some locals - it is a hidden gem we hadn't discovered before. Sort of pub menu with a few extras and some kids options. Added bonus of wine tasting/sales. Nice obliging staff - would happily return.

Had lunch at Woody Nook this past weekend, my partner had as she described the best steak sandwich she had, had in a very long time. I had the steak and I can honestly say it is the best steak I have ever had. The service was first class from the moment we got there earlier than our booking. The wine tasting we had great conversation to the waiter second to none. Overall a great day. Thank you

Waited an hour to get our food. The chicken was pink and undercooked and the meal in general was quite underwhelming. So many much nicer restaurants with 5 star food around. I really don't recommend here for a meal.

Great low key place to have a non fine dining meal. Best part is having a wine tasting with the owner. Very down to earth with no BS. Enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful place, had to drive in to see the cafe. It’s very green, nice outdoor tropical setting for the cafe. Foods came out pretty fast. We tried fish and chips and the special of the day which was the grilled fish. I enjoyed the grilled fish better. It has nice flavour that is subtle but very nice. It came with beautiful greens and some ?capsicum pesto. The fish and chips were crispy, but to me it was rather plain. Overall very nice place to sit and relax. Beautiful greeneries.

Went here for lunch today It wasn’t awful but the food was very average. The waiter cleared the plates away while one person was still eating and another came and took away the glasses. No one asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Won’t go back

We had some lunch and wine tasting and were so pleased by the quality of food. The wines are our favourite but we never had a chance to visit the winery before today, we will be visiting frequently. Love the beautiful location

Went there for a wine tasting session. Was excited as heard much about their award- winning wine but to our disappointment, the hospitality was so bad. Assigned us this lady to introduce us of the wine ( in black in photo) who was so snooty throughout the session…. The whole group all felt the same about her. When one of the ladies in the group took a photo of the room, she ( lady in black) was so offended and questioned her rudely if she was filming her! Gosh! There’s better way to ask but not in such a rude and offensive tone! Someone is just taking a photo to capture a memory of the experience ! If photography or filming is not allowed , please put a signage there! We went back to the bus totally disgusted by her attitude . Guess what, none of us in the group bought anything there.. !!! We said we were not sure if the wine was not great or was the poor experience during wine tasting session resulted to us not liking any of the wine .:. So what if you have award-winning wine but with such poor service .. who wants to buy from you ? There are cellar door with nicer people and friendlier environment around!

This winery restaurant is obviously very popular with a great atmosphere, the wine and service behind the counter was exceptional and very nice selection of wines and tastings. We were served by a very nice well mannered waiter of French origin when we ordered our meals, but we were obviously forgotten about completely for over an hour until I mentioned we hadn't received our meals. It was very busy and they were turning away customers because they were fully for birthday parties and other large groups, I enjoyed the meal I ordered and it was 5 star as was the wine I was consuming, however some of my companions weren't overly impressed with the quality and quantity of their meals, which they thought were very small serves for the price. Getting access to the bar area was difficult with all the tables and chairs blocking the path with the birthday party happening inside and the other access was full of people sampling wines etc. The carpark was packed and could be better laid out. However, i would definitely recommend a visit to this great little venue as the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and I will be returning at a later date to hopefully give them a 5 star review.

If you visit the wine region regularly you need to at least have lunch here once. Great food.

Lovely, lazy, 4-hour long lunch with wine pairing at Voyager Estate! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Such fine foods and wines for the palate! Beautiful decor and garden for an after-meal walk. We have different favourites from the full course. My favourite was definitely the dessert! Worth the $!

Such a warm place to visit. The staff at the counter knows everything about the wines that are served. We really enjoyed our time here and before we knew we were an hour further. Beautiful gardens and lots of history. Special thank you to the Colombian - French lady at the counter who made our time even more memorabel.

Our favourite cellar door and estate visiting Margaret River! The walk in from the carpark sets the scene with beautiful vines and gardens. Great wines and informative staff. The rose and kitchen gardens are also a great visit.

Best winery in WA in my mind, good service, beautiful view, the sparkling grape juice is highly recommended. Food quality is very good. It’s a 2 chef hats on AGFG. If you travel Margaret river, this is a must try winery.

My highlight of the Margaret River trip! While the restaurant is inside the winery, the food is amazing on its own for sure. The ingredients are mostly locally sourced, and dishes have great creativity and are executed beautifully. And not only that, it's one of the best wine-pairing meals I have ever had around the world. It almost feels like the dishes and the wines are made for each other! All of the dishes have a beautiful marriage with the wine, definitely 1+1 >2. The staff are friendly and know the food and wine too. I would recommend my friends and family to come and try the wine-pairing lunch. It's a great experience. (Booking is needed to avoid disappointment.)

My husband and I did the voyager unearthed experience which included a tour of the vineyard, and thorough teaching about the wines and the Margaret river region. We got to taste wines at different stages in the making, and do an excellent tasting including education on which tastes to look out for and how they feel on your palate. Our guide was Sean and he was absolutely excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but very warm and provided in the information in an accessible way. The day finished with an absolutely beautiful multiple course lunch in the dining room. Could not recommend this experience highly enough!

Welcoming from the very outset. We were served by Justine who was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Wines were stunning. We could only stay for the cheeseboard after tasting and choosing our wines. We will certainly come again and this time plan and book for the discovery lunch and tasting. Highly recommended

Beautiful estate with some nice wine selection. I loved the gardens but would definitely recommend visiting in spring as roses were looking a bit sad in winter. We ended up picking up a few bottles of Chardonnay as it was very smooth compared to other Chardonnay we have tried.

I haven't been to Voyager for so long, and it didn't disappoint. Wonderful knowledgeable and friendly staff with a walk around garden. The garden and hedges are very well kept. I especially enjoyed the sparkling rose (pink colour)🌹

One of the most beautiful vineyards. We were served by a really friendly short haired lady. Had an amazing time both inside the building and outside in the gardens. So peaceful.

We had a wonderful experience at Voyager. The staff were so warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable afternoon. We shared a wonderful sparkling Rose and a delicious cheese board which was very reasonably priced. Definitely my favourite winery in Margaret River!!!

Wine was good but unfortunately for us (in a tour group of 10) the staff member that served us gave us the impression of disinterest in what he was doing. A shame as the other wineries we visited we felt we good more personal service and could ask questions etc. One of the wineries was heaps busier and smaller but the service was so much better. Whilst as mentioned the wine was good, having very average service does impact on whether to purchase or not particularly as there are so many great wineries in the Margaret River region.

4 of us booked in for a 9 course degustation yesterday and the service, setting, wine and food could not be faulted. Nothing was too much to ask and the service throughout was attentive but subtle. Jack was a great host and entertained us all for 4 and a bit hours with a cheery disposition and plenty of insightful comments. Would recommend this experience to everyone who has even the faintest interest in good food and wine!

Immaculate. Lovely gardens. Jan 2024 taste 5 wines for Au$10 if you choose to buy a bottle the $10 is deducted so I would say good value. Also Au$20 gets you 10 wines same deal money deducted from purchase price. Take the time to look at the gardens. Rose and Kitchen walled gardens as well.

Beautiful estate, impressive looking gardens and building that are great for pictures. Wine tasting is available standing up, seated or with private tours. We enjoyed the platter very much.

It was an amazing day. If you come here do check out their show time. Its at 11am & do come earlier to book your spot. Live demonstration of the birds.Educational for the children and adults. Toilets are clean and accessible. The children enjoy exploring the area and we had a great time. Do put on a good walking shoes/trekking shoes cos you will need to walk on rough trails.

Well worth a visit, the birds are very well looked after, great informative show and a chance for some great photos. All money goes back into the park and the birds. Doing a fantastic job guys.❤️

The show was very well presented, and the presenter very knowledgeable. The birds under treatment were well housed with large areas of freedom and areas which enabled them to hide from public sight, especially the more nervous ones. All in all, a most enjoyable two hours.

A very exciting show, the worker told the owl in an interesting way and demonstrated feeding the eagles in freedom. The place itself is spacious, many large aviaries with a variety of birds of prey. You can take a walk, see the animal world, make discoveries for yourself, take pictures and have a lot of fun. I think it will be interesting for children and adults to visit here. The staff are all friendly, the gift kiosk has a lot of interesting things to buy as a keepsake.

One spot we never miss on a Margaret River trip, no matter how long we're down. We've recommended it to heaps of friends and they all love it too. An absolutely must for animal lovers. The care the staff have for the birds in their care is clearly seen and felt, even since the founder's retirement. A special place to learn and appreciate our important raptor species.

Great place to get close and learn about birds of prey. The collection of birds weren't great at the time of visit (March24) but there were more exhibits and enclosures being setup opening soon. Highly recommend the show that happens at 11 or 1pm.

I LOVE BIRDS!! I did a raptor experience at Australia Zoo, but I felt this was even better!! The fellow who held Ivy (beautiful wobbly barn owl) did a wonderful job with the 11am presentation, and we loved the swooping birds catching their food in the air! Swoosh! Lots of fun! And informative! Did you know Ivy has Witcher senses - she can see in ultraviolet!! 💜

What a lovely way to spend the morning. t was an amazing day. Educational show at 11am for both the children and adults to enjoy - the demonstration and knowledge was so good. Walk around the grounds was beautiful and animals kept in great enclosures. Lady at the kiosk was very friendly and clearly passionate about the work which is helping birds recover or home them if they can't. Kiosk had a great range and reasonably priced too... very hard to choose only a couple of items! Well worth the $20 adult tix that's for sure.

Great place to see a wide variety of birds. The walk around the venue was scenic and enjoyable, even though we were unlucky enough to visit when it was raining! Due to the rain we didn't get to see the birds in flight but we did get to meet a couple of the owls which was a great substitute. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. There are also some wonderful things to buy in the first shop.

Eagles Heritage was wonderful to visit. I definitely recommend booking in for the educational and interactive display! Seeing these magnificent birds up close was a very sweet experience and highly informative.

Got to watch some cool birds flying around the encounter show and get up close to them. The staff were informative and friendly. The walk around the park was great too looking at the different raptors and the money goes to rehabilitation of wildlife.

Brought my 3 grandchildren here. They were delighted to see a variety of snakes , lizards and birds. Being allowed to handle a snake was the icing on the cake. A very informative talk on rescuing and rehabilitating wild life started our day .

I am not able to discredit the benefits of paying for a visit of this business. It is for a noble cause, and it is difficult to maintain such a volume of unique birds. If you're a bird lover, there is a lot here to see, and I believe 20 per person is a reasonable price to ask. That being said, the Attraction itself is very much a one off visit, offering no value or dynamism on repeat visits, apart from an occasional bird interaction event. You can pay 20 dollars for a nice charming walk through a bird park, and that's what you'll get.

Returning after 30 years, and it was still amazing. Did the walk around the cage circuit first and were able to see all their birds quite well. The Barn Owl on show was particularly well behaved, and the kites in free flight were just awesome, and very close. No hype or marketing, just an amazing focus on supporting raptors. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place. Learning about our Australian birds of prey. Awesome & very informative show. The young guy running the show was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour.

So many beautiful big birds. We did the walk around the park then watched the show. The bird handler was very knowledgeable and had the birds trained well. They put on a great show showing how they catch food while flying to save them from landing. The kids got a closeup photo with the albino lesser sooty owl which was awesome.

Amazing park near Margaret River, they try to rehab birds of prey that are injured or orphaned and keep only the ones that is not possible to release. Of course the bird would be better to fly free but when this is not possible, is nice that there’s someone that cares deeply for them, so thank you for the experience!

Definitely worth the visit. The furniture and Steel artwork are beautiful and impressive. Magnificent gallery art and very friendly staff.

Was wonderful looking at all the great workmanship on offer for sale. Worth a visit. Cafe was closed when I was there. All was saved from the bushfires that ravashed the area earlier this year 2022.

Heads up. There are no public toilets in the gallery. For some of us that is awkward. (And on the day we went the food place next door was closed and their toilets locked. So no toilets for miles.) I liked the furniture and steelworks. I always enjoy seeing the art of local artists and artisans. High quality. Artist who was volunteering and manning gallery was a little abrupt, when I first stepped in - about the no dogs rule. I get it. Though she is small and I carry her, and never her put her on the floor -it's the prerogative of the owner. I can't remember if I got a chance to ask or not. My husband managed to have a lovely long look and enjoyed his conversation with this gentleman. I feel it's important to add that.

Well maintained and beautifully presented with a wonderful variety of local product. Personally I felt it was quite expensive and may appeal more to the overseas buyers but quality non the less. Gorgeous furniture if only I could fit them in my suitcase!

Lots of beautiful art pieces which are mainly glass and wood. The wooden table were lovely. There are also lots of metal animal sculptures and a cafe.

We came across the berry farm cafe whilst quickly looking for a place to go for lunch, and we are very happy we did. The sausage rolls were beautiful and it’s perfect with the side salad and some wedges. The scone was nice but not my personal favourite kind of scone. I did however love the jam that came with it. I highly recommend coming by here, they have great options and it’s such a cozy place, great for the kids as well. My partner also surprised me with some sticky date pudding which came with hot caramel sauce, ice cream and custard which was divine. The awesome girls at the cafe also kindly surprised me with a birthday song along with it. We will definitely be back!

Can't decide what to get for lunch?? Just get the vegetarian platter for 2. Although it will easily feed 3. This is one of the best platters I've ever had, and we've had the veg platter at The Lake House in Denmark.. Which is amazing, but this beats it! Great beer selection too, gotta support local breweries and they do that here! Bird life is pretty good, Although I spotted a child throwing chips at the birds.... Please don't do that as it actually harms them. Thanks Berry Farm!

Lovely place!! We took a 2, 3 and 4 year old at around 10am in January and it was perfect for them as there was a shaded playground. The scones and jam were to die for! Lovely staff. Will definitely be back!

Delightful place to visit. The boysenberry pie was absolutely 100% delicious and will be back for more! The birds are everywhere and love helping you finish your sugary delight. Great kids playgrounds to keep the little and big kids busy whilst mum and dad smash the treats! Add this place into your itinerary

I like the venue because Nice atmosphere and lots of birds in the cafe. It was my first time to order a pancake. I’m disappointed it. I can tell you guys use a microwave to heat it up. I was traveling to the pancakes from home … better make fresh… It was lots of berries I like the point. Thank you

Cottage Cafe with nice environment and friendly crews, the only down side is limited choice for non beef eaters. Other than that, all are good. It’s a berry farm, so you can get nice desserts with fresh jam, and you can always buy back fresh jam at shop nearby after meal.

Great place to take the family for an afternoon relaxation and enjoy some scones with jam and cream. The kids have a nice play ground to burn off some energy. For a small fee, you can buy some animal feed to feed the farm animals.

Cool place .. 3 nice playgrounds for the kids to play on. The wood playground down the bottom could do with some shade, and the flying fox on the middle playground needed repairs, but apart from that, all good and the kids loved it there. Being able to see the animals was good fun, but the kids really wanted to get amongst it a bit more (petting/feeding/other perhaps?). The food was ok, but it was the playground (for us) that made it worthwhile.

Best birthday lunch ever! The pasta in the kids meal were cooked perfectly! (tried myself! we're Italians🤣). I went for the Chorizo plate and it was amazing. Fresh bread baked in-house and delicious wine. Awesome atmosphere and kids friendly. There's a playground at the back.

This place has nice outdoor areas, at the front and back. We chose the back area because it’s bigger and lots of birds were there. From the counter, I can feel this place is very environmentally friendly. Bird bath and feeder are there, and little blue wrens and honeyeaters were plenty around. The staff are very friendly and showed us if you put sugar on your palm, all these honeyeaters will eat from your hand. Had scone and their burger. Scone was very nice, but jam was quite strong so don’t use too much of it. Love that they are generous with the cream. The burger was amazing. Not only it has a lot of fillings, they are looking colourful and pretty! The taste was well balanced with the sweetness of the sauce. Very impressed overall. But we realised we didnt even see any berry plant or maybe we didnt look hard enough.

Great set up with the shop and cafe seperated. Several decent nature playgrounds too. Scones where nice and warm with fresh jam and thick cream. Heaps of wrens flying around which add more to the character.

I came to The Berry Farm last year but didn't get a chance to come to the Cottage Cafe. This time I made sure I went in and I had their burger. It would have to be the best burger I've had in Australia. The price is reasonable for the best burger you'll eat! The Berry Farm Beef Burger was $28 It had Homestyle beef patty topped with swiss cheese, caramelised onion, Berry Farm Zucchini Pickles & Beetroot Relish, with fresh tomato & lettuce on a warm potato bun served with hand cut potato wedges & Berry Farm Sweet Chilli & Tomato Sauce and you can order (GFO/DFO) On the next table the birds even ate the desert scraps, which were amazing as well!

Had amazing buttermilk pancakes & berry compote. Staff were so friendly & even took photos of my dog for their Inst page. Was very impressed with the shop ladies who went & sourced figs for us. Had a lovely time.

The beef and wine pie was beautiful, cute birds dashing around outside, good variety of sparking fruit wines to taste and jams and stuff. We brought the ginger fruit wine and their fresh figs and avocados. Great place to visit.

Such a nice place, there is a shop. A kids play area, things to see and a walk to feed the chickens. Top tip. If you decide to eat, sit at table 17!

I See a lot Of reviews disappointed with the atmosphere based on the wether. Personally, I’ve never had any problems no matter the weather. People talk about how the ideal weather is summer but I disagree, I enjoyed the Berry pies thoroughly during the winter. I had the pancakes just today and they have a delicious berry compote and ice-cream. However the pancakes don’t exactly taste like buttermilk pancakes, although still enjoyable. They didn’t seem fresh, but I wasn’t fussed by that, but I think a good crusty buttermilk pancake could enhance it so much more. The pie is perfect though. Good crust and it’s very hot, but that’s how it should be. People complain about the flies, personally didn’t have a problem, and I don’t think that’s the venues fault. The scones are traditional and great, good jam, personally not a fan of the strawberry chunks but I know it’s intentional, I’m just funny with textures. Gift shop is great. Burger was DELICIOUS, my brother says. Best burger he’s ever had, he’s a fussy eater and ate absolutely everything in that burger. Service could be a tad better, but the food is what I prioritise if I’m ever recommending a place to someone. Always looking forward to berry farm when I’m down in Margaret river. Never disappoints

my partner and I have been here numerous times over the last 5 years and it has always been such a relaxing place with quality food! I highly recommend the sausage rolls, authentic and hand made 😍 the honeyeater birds get very up close and personal with you if you happen to order sweet things! this one that I was lucky enough to catch a video of really loved the chilli jam (it's my favourite at the Berry Farm too, I had to buy some to take home!) they are also famous for their fairy blue wrens, a little more elusive but you may get to see them up close too! today the lady in the Berry Farm souvenir shop let me hold Bella the baby kangaroo, her fur was so soft!!! it made my day 🥹🥹

Many flies during this season, good to have swoosh swoosh device to keep flies away from dining table. Food was okay, playgrounds are good for “distracting” kids while adults can enjoy their meals.

One of the best cellar door experiences I've had in Oz. Maree was so knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. Tasting in the barrel room is also a nice touch!

I did Behind the scenes tour with my family. Leanne was amazing. She has all the skills and qualities of perfect host. She made this tour memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. I was delighted by the quality of wine and services I received at Cape Mentelle. I will visit it again as well.

AMAZING!!! This is my favourite wine cellar in Margaret River. The staff was super helpful in explaining the different wine characteristics and suggested us delicious wines. My top 3 are: Walcliffe Sauvignon Blanc, Walcliffe Merlot Petit Verdot Malbec & of course Cabernet Sauvignon!!

A short Cellar Door visit turned into slightly over an hour with a very patient LeAnn who took me through the whole tasting flight. Her enthusiasm for the heritage of the winery and willingness to share was a good start to the experience. She took her time for each wine and provided me detailed information, and a tablet, which I could turn to when she shuttles between guests. No question was too simple or irrelevant for her. The Cape Mentelle quality as well as the professional service makes this visit such a pleasant one. While I was very ably taken care of, my family had a great time walking around the grounds of around the Cellar Door and pronounced the place beautiful and they didn't feel that they were hanging around doing nothing.

One of the best wine tastings I've ever had. Staff member that worked on that day gave us a very detailed description of each wine and food pairings for wine that we were trying, she was also very pleasant to talk to. As an added bonus wine at Cape mentelle is very high quality and tastes great.

This winery is very pretty and clean. The staff was knowledgeable. But their wines were not that great. It was more pricier than another winery but another one’s wines were better than this. And it was busy so they didn’t remember what kind of wine we tried and if we don’t ask them any question, they will just tell you about the wines you chose and then leave😂

We enjoyed the tour led by Lee, who was very informative. Though it was not harvesting season, we were able to get a good experience by walking through the vineyards and cellars. We ended the tour with a tasting of 6 wines.

Shoutout to Sandra, our guide, who was so lovely and informative. We opted for the "behind the cellar door" tour and were rewarded with a wholesome tour around their vineyards & factory. We had a great time with the wine tasting at the end too; really appreciated the extra details and profiling done for each wine and also getting to try 6 different types. The wines here were really great!

A favourite for wine lovers The cellar store and vineyard are beautiful with lovely staff Enjoy a tasting in the barrel room, book a picnic or watch movie. One of the only vineyards offering a Zinfandel. Outside it dog friendly Watch out for chick's and geese.

Very nice vineyard tucked away from the main street. We came a little late and hadn't booked and we're given a spot at the Bar for a tasting. Highly recommend booking in advance. If you buy a bottle you won't pay the tasting - and it's well worth it, as the wines are incredible.

Food was tasty Lost 1 star for: 1. Better tasting wines at other places (this is my opinion). Take a trip around and do some tastings before buying. 2. Food was delicious and very unqiue but… Food wasn’t plated very well for the price (below expectations). Great taste but presentation could have been better. A great place to go to for a first-time wine taster or for visitors chancing on a restaurant… but… Wouldn’t really want to return. There are better places.

4 of us & our mini schnauzers were thoroughly spoiled yesterday at Xanadu!! After a wine tasting with loads of banter we chose the SSB for lunch. The food was delicious & menu interesting. Service was really attentive but relaxed. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon, we’ll be back for sure.

This is a great winery for a long lunch. The service and food are outstanding. We didn’t get a chance to do a tasting prior to lunch but that would be a good addition to the afternoon. Make sure your prebook to avoid disappointment.

Lovely restaurant setting, however the food was overpriced for two courses ($69), and I was disappointed in the wait between entree and main; I believe the staff and/or kitchen actually forgot ours as about 25-30 mins waiting I enquired, to which I was informed there is usually a 30 minute wait for the beef AFTER the entree is cleared up (not from the time of order). If this is true, it would surely be printed on the menu, but instead feels like an excuse. The table beside us (party of 4) who just received their entree after ours was cleared, received their main at the same time as my fiancee and I... Ironically the beef was chewy and slightly overcooked - this picture does it more justice than in person.

Flawless meal and delicious wine with great service. Visiting from London so went for a nice meal with mine and my partner's parents. We had the two course menu and everyone loved their dishes. Very friendly and attentive service.

Very good service from all three wait staff who attended our table during the meal. Excellent location and venue, really great place to dine. Food started a bit weakly with the entrees. Subtly flavoured and lacking wow factor. Mains were a step up and definitely well designed and plated. Once again very subtly flavoured. Desert (I’m not a desert eater usually) knocked it out of the park. The white chocolate and rhubarb parfait will be remembered for some time. Thanks for a memorable afternoon Xanadu.

2nd time to Xanadu. First time was pre-covid where tastings were free. Now they charge AUD 10 per pax but redeemable upon purchase. Went almost at closing time, but managed to do some tasting. I remember it was one of the better wineries together with Cape Mentelle but this time it wasn’t as great an experience.

We took our daughter for a late lunch on Sunday 18th Feb. What a wonderful setting. Staff were so friendly, very attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and the wines. The meals were just amazing and served so beautifully. You could tell each plate of food was made with love and the chef s celebration of the produce used. Great meal, they fitted us in even though we didn't have a reservation and they were busy. Lovely service and amazing food. Particularly loved the entries of beef cheek and the maple filo. So beautifully presented and delicious. Lovely spot, so beautiful in the spring. Went and did the wine tasting, concluded that the bottle we chose at lunch was best and ordered another 👌☺️

I’m a wedding photographer and the property at Xanadu is incredible with epic photo locations super close to the ceremony / reception space at the cellar door. The courtyard was an awesome space for an outdoor reception - highly recommended! Insta @photogerson

Had a anniversary lunch here, the two course one. The drive in is pretty far, maybe 1km or more? Outside is quite simple, with some nice grasses and seating area outside. Inside was pretty elegant. All the staff are really friendly and polite. They gave us complementary sparkling wine glasses for our anniversary, that was so sweet. Their complementary bread with oil and balsamic dip was very nice, bread very soft and fluffy, but crispy outside. All foods were presented beautifully. For entree we had this octopus dish on a bed of chopped veggies, possibly pickled. While it was refreshing like eating a salad, I wasn’t wowed but the flavour of the dish. The main was beef steak, and that was cooked beautifully, I really loved the anchovy garlic sauce, just gives the right amount of saltiness even if just used a little. For dessert we tried something unique, which was this watermelon and marshmellow with sesame crisp and soy sauce. It sounds weird but the soy sauce was very subtle and gave a nice balance to the sweetness of the dish. Again, that was executed really well and we were impressed. As suggested by the staff, we also had a side of this eggplant with miso sauce. That was delicious. Overall very happy with everything, good value for the price.

We popped by on a weekday for lunch and managed to get a seating. We were expecting the food to be exceptional but it was not quite there. For starters, the beef cheeks were good. However, the pork for the mains was a bit tough, but its plating was nice. My partner had the scallops for starters and that was okay, so was her main dish, snapper. They were both quite good. Other than food, ambience was okay. Service was not so good as staff were not very attentive. The food also took awhile to be served.

Excellent place to freshen up in the morning and enjoy "roaring of the sea" with morning view. The toilet facility is great and also has fresh drinking water. Lots of parking with sea view.

Absolutely stunning clear water. Beautiful lime stone sand. Plenty of young surfers having fun in the waves. A fantastic place on a day when the wind is low.

My partner and I stopped by the Margaret river mouth as a last minute sightseeing decision and we were so impressed with the beautiful views it has to offer. The water in the river mouth is calm and the beach is beautiful. Would definitely recommend you stop here if you’re heading down south

Margaret river mouth view point is a point where Indian ocean & Margaret river meet together. The scenery is very beautiful. The view of the water comes directly on the rocks is awesome. There is a upper view point of Margaret river. Here, there is a BBQ area. You need to come down to see the bottom view of its beauty. Enjoy😄

Amazing place .You can feel the power of the waves crashing over the rocks and onto the beach. When we visited the wind was gusting so beach was lovely to look at but flying sand made it impossible to sit on the beach. Never the less the white foamed waves contrasting with the blue sea was a spectacal to be seen.

We visited mid morning on a Monday. Car park wasn’t busy, and the view was spectacular! Highly recommend

Great sandy beach, wave is good for body surf and board. Public amenities; parking, toilets, showers and even a drinking fountain. The ocean side maybe rough for the little one or inexperienced swimmer, however the river side is calm and water is refreshing. Guided tour via canoe is also available.

Beautiful spot, just be sure you’re willing to get wet going through the river if you want a beach walk!

The Cape to Cape Walking Track crosses the mouth of the Margaret River at Prevelly. During dry times the crossing is easy sand, but we heard that when it is wet the trail is cut here, you will need to find another way across. The Viewpoint has carparking, and toilet facilites.

The Rivermouth is great! Stopped here during school holidays for a swim in the river, heaps of families swimming by the beach, oldies paddle boarding down the river and the carpark is easy to get to and offers a great view aswell. Lots of small rock pools to explore, sea creatures to find and so much space to swim about!

Stunning views of the coast and a great vantage point for the mouth of the river. The rocks around the beach are easy to navigate and make for some good photo opportunities.

If you are looking for a perfect beach package for kids and adults, this is best place in Margaret River. Parking is bit tough to find in busy summer season. Toilets available. Hiking option as well.

If you like the sun, sea and some waves, this is a must visit beach in Margaret River area. Very beautiful and clean beach ⛱️⛱️⛱️.

This winery already deserves 5 stars, just for how pretty it is! If you then count in how awesome their wines are, they would probably deserve a couple of stars more! Their tasting is a bit expensive, at 10 dollars, but it is worth it. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, this is a must stop for everyone!

Enjoyed our short visit and wine tasting experience at Stella Bella. The staff were very knowledgeable and willing to share.

This is a winery that is a must visit in Margaret River. Stella Bella Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 won the gold medal award 8 times during 2022-23. Their pink Moscato is sweet and tastes and smells of water melon and strawberry with very low alcohol content. Definitely 💯 you can pick up some of the best wines here. The cellar door is also uniquely historical with part of the wood from a barn built during World War II.

We spent three days exploring the vineyards in Denmark and Margaret River without a break. On our last stop, we found Stella Bella winery. The Chardonnay there was so amazing that even I, who doesn't usually drink, couldn't help but love it. All four of us agreed with nods and murmurs of approval as we passed the glass around ! 4 bottles purchased within 5 minutes 🙌

Really great quality wines here that are reasonably priced! Favourites are the Cab Sav and Chardonnay! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the different wines/flavour profiles during the wine tasting session too.

My first visit to Margaret River and the winery is located conveniently by the road on approach from Nannup. Seemed an obvious choice to try a first local drop. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable cellar door staff who was super-attentive even though there were several others who arrived at the same time. I'm no connoisseur but liked what I tasted and bought a bottle of all three.

Only about 4 km from the centre of the Margaret River town, you cannot fault the warm welcome and intimacy of Stella Bella Wines. I first tried their wine in a restaurant in Perth and whilst on our trip down south, I had to come and sample the rest of their range. I personally loved their cabernet merlot and the cabernet sauvignon. There a $5 per person tasting charge, however this is waived when you buy a bottle which I sure you will.
