Very beautiful park for a short 30-60 minutes hike. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The plants variety is ok - they could add more exotic stuff. The "smells" garden is awesome! Officially the entrance is free but you would likely arrive with a car and will need to pay 25 NIS for parking.

Very nice garden with beautiful flowers and plants. If you are a green thumb lover like me, you must visit it. You are not allowed to bring any food inside (good thing actually, as it is super clean). There was a nice guard at the entrance.

A wonderful garden with a view over the Mediterranean. A walk at a normal pace would take around one hour. The park is accessible, and the walk is easy with many places to rest and sit along the trail. It might be a little chilly due to the height and breeze from the sea. The entrance is free but the parking costs 25 NIS per car.

I live close to this park, a nature reserve, so weather permitting - which in Israel is most of the time- I go biking or hiking, walking, strolling through this park. My last visit was with a group of friends for a sunrise hike over the old ruins. Spectacular!

My husband and I stopped here during our travels in Israel. It was the perfect break in our day. The owner gave us a tour, shared many interesting wine facts, talked about his interests in wine making, and of course had us taste different wines. You could see his love for good wine. They focus on quality over quantity. We’d recommend a stop here (or just a stop to get some great wine!). It was a much better experience than stopping at one of the mass production wineries. You could taste, see, and smell the quality.

Simply marvelous experience! We (couple) came to the winery at Saturday noon and and had a great hour or so with Barak (the owner). He was nice, paitance, super professional, welcoming and vary glad to answer all of our questions regarding wine, wine making process and tell sweet stories regarding his and his wife decades of experience in the winery and vineyards industry. The winery is small, very boutiqy and you can actually see with your eyes the complete process on wine making and understand it. The wine is super, they hold fabulous stuff, but I will say a little bit pricey - compared to other products in the market. But it totally OK (prices range from around 90 to 160 NIS). The tasting include some high level hard cheeses and crackers. The overall experience was super - quality, hospitality, style and professionalism. Enjoy (:

Really enjoyed the explanation on how they produce the wine (very impressive!) and their “family story”. The wine tasting was great and so was the cheese platter :) They have a great range of wines from “lighter” ones to full body ones. The family is really friendly and location is pretty and spacious.

One of the best winery visits we ever had. The owners Barak and Hila built this winery from ground up and they still grow the grapes, make the wines, decide on blends, guide tours and do everything else themselves which is admirable. We met them both as we arrived they are both really nice and fun to chat. Barak guidance was very interesting and inspiring and spiced with a grain of humor. Best explanation on wine making we ever heard (not that he reveled some breaking news but you could see it's in his heart). He was thorough and willing to answer any questions professionally and patiently. Finally the wine tasting - every wine we tried (we got to try 5 wines) was just excellent and better than the previous ones. Both whites and reds are very rich in aroma and flavour. We bought 2 bottles and will definitely buy more from them in the future. Prices range from 70 to ~200 NIS. We really enjoyed the visit and didn't want to leave. The only downside is that visits are available only once or twice a day and reservation is required (on their website), depends on demand. One more thing to be aware of - they don't serve food, just small plates of chease and biscotti so don't arrive on empty stomach. Bottom line worth the visit.

As someone who has visited dozens of wineries in Israel, I can confidently say this is one of the best wine tastings I've been to. We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was an exceptional experience. Barak gives a fascinating explanation and shares his ideology and values during the tour and you can tell that the family puts their heart and soul into this business. No greed, no shortcuts, just a couple with a passion for creating amazing wines. Each wine was better than the other, and the cheeses + atmosphere at the tasting room were just lovely.

Had a great visit and our guide, I'm sorry I'm terrible with names, was very kind and answered all our questions. Would recommend the tour and wine to anyone.

We enjoyed the museum so much. It was so well done with the different movies in different areas in the museum. We couldn't wait to follow the story.

The Aliyah Museum was lovely! It really helped me see the big picture and understand Zikron. Everyone needs to see this museum.

Insightful - eye opening. Based on a true story of a family arriving in the late 1800's from Russia and their challenges of life on a farm surrounded by the enemy. 6 short films on 3 floors all tied together with an interview 80 years later of the actual characters. For all ages. Little ones won't follow but 45 minutes moving quickly is all you need, they will manage. An hour+ if you move slower. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to get a glance into history of the difficulties first Jewish settelements in Palestine were facing in late 19 century and set the ground for others that came to build the country that will become to be the state of Israel.

Wonderful museum showing the history of NILI and the Aharonson family, who had an important role in bringing the British to overthrow the Turkish rule in the early 20th century. They do only guided tours, Eng and Heb. Informative and interesting. The preserved home interior, was also beautiful to see. Takes about an hour+ for the full tour. Parking is not easy, so you might need to park up to a few hundred meters away. But then you can visit the "midrachov" area after the museum.

Short, interesting historical tour and summary of the Aaronsons and NILI spy ring which assisted the British against the Turks. Guide spoke quickly and too quietly. All information was given in one chunk at the start rather than broken down as we went through. Film was a little graphic for younger children. Worthwhile as an activity if already on zichron but would not go out of my way.

Called and were told they had tours every hour. Asked if available in English, and were told, yes. Drove there, and were told no English tours. Don't trust what they say over the phone.

An amazing in depth museum. We did the Hebrew tour and felt that the guides were extremely knowledgeable- but that the explanations were quite lengthy and didn’t allow for enough time to thoroughly see and take full advantage of the interactive exhibits. The second guide basically repeated most of what the first guide had already said in detail - so we were left with only 3 minutes to rush through the exhibits in the home. We felt like we missed out on a great deal that the museum has to offer. There should be a minimum age for visitors - there was a baby in our group who cried a bit which was a distraction.

The museum has been renovated with new material, a new building and a lot more interactive. A great experience for those seeking the history behind the Jewish resistance against the Authmenian empire.

Absolutely remarkable museum. The exhibit itself is very well done and informative. But being at the very location where this history occurred connects you in a one-of-a-kind way with that history. We learned a lot about this chapter of Israeli history on our visit. Staff was friendly too!

Beautiful beach...just avoid the weekends...if you can :) A beautiful beach you should make time for if you're touring this part of Israel. It is also a natural reserve as well meaning it all. Just one thing: I recommend avoiding visiting it during the vacation and hagim (Israeli religious feasts) as the site is quite crowded, and the atmosphere of course suffers from it.

We're making a couple of days camping in the unregistered beach every year. It's a quiet, beautiful place. It's crowded though, but it seems the people keep it quiet over here. There is a sinked boat you can climb on and explore. There are no shops, restrooms or showers in the unregistered beach, so come prepared. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH!

Definitively one of the most beautiful beaches in Israel, i would still prefer Achziv. Dor Habonim beach is well thought, with toilets, showers... Entrance fees for a car is around 35 nis which is really fair.

A peaceful small beach. I went on a full moon night and saw moonset on the beach, and sunrise on the other side through the carmel mountain. Nothing prettier than that. Attaching a photograph to show u a glimpse :)

We pre-booked the winery tour and had a great time. Valerie was a wonderful tour guide, and we were able to learn about the impressive history of wine making in Israel and see some of the artifacts. At the end we were able to taste three different wines: a dry red, semi-dry white, and dessert wine. Very positive experience.

Went with a big group on a friday afternoon. It was a great tour. Very in depth about the history of the winery and zichron yaakov and even got to see different methods of wine making. 4 stars because I only got to taste 3 wines and I would have liked to taste more.

Really dissapointing experience. Ordered a private wine tour for 4. The place of the tour looks worn and outdated. Wines were not very nice and tour guides friendly but nothing special. Try some other winery instead.

Great experience! We had wine tasting and few snacks (cheese, bread, fruits and spreads). We’re also impressed with the quality of the service provided. The atmosphere was splendid ! Like in Tuscany.

The winery is always a cool place for a romantic evening gathering. But for me, It was a one-time experience here. Not the largest selection of wines (dry only). Quiet cramped place with a little space between tables. We didn’t get blankets, when it got noticeably colder in the evening, cause they were over. A lot of insects, we should have used mosquito repellant beforehand. Capreze and cheese plate were good 👏🏼

I went on a Saturday afternoon in July. We sat outside and did the “tasting” option for 140 nis per person. Nearly all the outdoor tables were in full shade and had a nice view of the surround nature. The wine was very good and the cheese/fruit/bread tray they served was excellent.

Magical atmosphere, great wine and cheese plates. We were party of 8 enjoying the wine tasting. The wine and the cheese plate are really good, the salami and sausage plate was not impressive. Definitely a good place to spend time in 🍷

Very nice winery place an hour or so drive from TelAviv. We booked the wine tasting experience. It comes with a cheese platter and bread. You can add additional salads. The atmosphere is nice. However, I would mention that it’s more like wine drinking than wine tasting. They serve you 4 different glasses of wine with basic descriptions. So all in all, a nice place to go for cheese and wine but not a wine tasting experience per se.

We celebrated my son’s birthday at the Amphorae winery and chose the wine tasting. The service was great. The staff was very welcoming and the wine was great. We got a huge plate with a variety of cheeses and enjoyed a great relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

A lovely place to chill with good friends. We were greeted by a friendly host who served us our first glass of wine. The servers would refill our glasses at our table and describe the wine we will be tasting. White wine, red wine, new wine, old wine. The cheese platter was perfect - grapes, bread, mango and apples. It was a the perfect date with friends. The price is not cheap (NIS140/person) and you need a car to get there.

Very nice setup. We’ve tasted 6 wines, the rose and white were very nice, crispy and fruity; the reds were interesting, but not really my cup of tea. The cheeses plate was good and “refills” were available when requested. The service was very friendly, everyone on the stuff was very nice. No very cheap, but definitely worth the trip.

Fun wine tasting, the winery is surrounded by lush nature and they have outside seating for a sunny day. Wines are nice, we picked up one of the wines we tasted. The cheeses served are fairly basic though overall wonderful experience.

As a former Gunner, G'dude55 I came to pay my respects to the fallen. My commanders name is inscribed there. Also came to take detailed pictures of the M107/110 that they have on display. I got what I needed but the state of the items on display is very sorry. Paint peeling off and just disgusting, the management though being an amuta type organization, makes doing things a little difficult I guess somebody needs to donate a sandblaster and a few thousand gallons of paint and some time. The office was mostly closed but the person cleaning it gave me some needed information on a project I'm working on I highly recommend this place for the military modelers out there and the people interested in history. I'd give it 5 stars but that paint and the bushes make it a 4

We had a celebration there of Kehilat VeAhavta for our 20th anniversary..the Beit Nir was perfect.

It's not a tourist site, and not open on a regular basis. It's a memorial place for IDF gunners, used to hold military services. Beit Nir is also within the compoud, serving as a performance hall for the local community, with scheduled live shows. In short: if you don't need to be there because you were invited or bought show tickets - there's no reason to visit.

Nice for kids. They can climb over the heavy tools. Not enough places to sit and rest. No problem with parking

Nice park, easy to get, easy parking. Get enough water at the entrance because there is no water fountain inside. Most of the park is not shaded, so it’s a bit hard for young kids in the summer. However, there are many shaded resting areas inside. In general, it’s about 2~3 hours of slow walking plus a picnic. Good to go when the weather is not too hot.

A great family park to visit, It's very nice and the staff are extremely helpful to explain and help. We really enjoyed our day trip in the park. The only thing is that there are no real attractions for the kids except for one or two. Overall a visit is recommend.

Charming place. Lakes, rivers, aqueducts, wooden wheels of water mills, animals. Once an hour they release water and you can see moving wheel. Short trails and one long trail to the sea.

Place with a great potential. It looks like some one started a huge project and left at the middle of the work. Only part of the park is well organized, in the other part :some roads are blocked or impassible. The arranged part is interesting with Roman time structures very well reconstructed, small lake, dump and small streams flowing . A lot of bird's flocks like pelicans, cranes, herons are hovering around. So beautiful. Recommended to visit during autumn till early spring. Suitable also for families with a little children and disable visitors

An excellent destination for a family trip, offering abundant water and natural beauty. The summer temperatures are moderate, making it comfortable to explore. The circular trail is effortlessly walkable, and a portion of it is wheelchair accessible. The water is teeming with fish, adding to the enchanting experience. Additionally, there's a trail that leads to the sea, and for a more adventurous journey, you can traverse a wet trail through a water-filled trench. We have visited this place three times already and are absolutely eager to return for more adventures.
