Amazing. A must see even if you don't have children. We had an absolute ball here. The day was a long one so be prepared to eat on site to make sure you get to see every attraction. Very worth the price and long day. The children and the grandparents loved it.

We have purchased tickets in advance, but can be purchased at spot. Plenty of parking, daily rate was 7 euro, with additional ticket taken in shops. A lot of connecting buildings, map can be taken at info point. Kids loved it, plenty to see and experience. We stayed about 6 hours and were able to see everything (about 8k steps :))

I visited L'Oceanogràfic on a rainy day in Valencia, and it turned out to be the perfect indoor activity. The aquarium is massive and incredibly well-maintained. The sea life creatures appear happy and healthy, making it a truly enjoyable experience. It was a fantastic decision for a rainy day outing. The location is awesome, the parking is quite convenient. I’d recommend to book the tickets in advance. This place can get quite busy on weekends and holidays.

I think it is a bit expensive for what you can see in the aquarium. Some animals, like the penguins were kept in a very small space and the dolphin show was a bit uncomfortable to watch, there are like 18 of them in a pool that is not big enough for them to swim and more so being so many of them being kept there... I liked the layout, that you can be outside from one part of the Aquarium to another, but for that money I was expecting the animals to be in bigger and better places, sort of like the aquarium in Lisbon. Also most of the vending machines were broken and it was very difficult to get a drink. But overall it was good, especially the tunnel where you could enjoy seeing a great variety of sea life swimming around!

So much more than an aquarium. We spent hours there and didn't get to see it all. The kids had a great time hoping from one creature exhibit to the next. The animals all seem to be top priority and well cared for. So many different animals to see and very up close. Tye dolphin show was a clear favourite. Lots of fun and amazing tricks. Make sure you arrive early because there is limited seating.

The place in total was really cool, and we had great experiences there. They had everything from tropical fish, to birds to penguins! They also had a dolphin show, which happens every few hours, and that was white cool also, and they also translated everything. Which was good. It does take a long time to visit everything, and I would say you need at least 5 hours to visit everything. The tickets were quite expensive, as for everything, we ended up paying 170€ for 4 adults and 1 child. The food there was also very good, however it was slightly expensive too. Overall, the place was really cool, and I would recommend. But beware, we went here even when it wasn't the crowded season, and it was still pretty full, so you might want to buy tickets earlier, depending on what time of year you want to go.

One of the best aquariums that exist in the world. I’ve been in multiple aquariums in North America, Asia, and Europe. This is simply one of the bests. It achieves a good combination of fishes from different seas and climates, as well as marine mammals, birds and lizards. A trip around the globe of multiple ecosystems in a single place. The facilities are clean, and well maintained. I was a bit hesitant about dolphins in captivity, but they seem to be treated very well and responsibly. Staff is nice and passionate about working with all this marine life. It was great to see. Last but not least, there are good food options, from casual restaurant, to a hot dog hut with multiple options. At 40 Euros, It’s on the expensive side, considering Valencia prices, but the trip was totally worth it. Good for adults, kids, and families. I was traveling solo, and no regrets.

A magnificent aquarium. You can spend almost a full day in it. An aquarium that hosts animals that you may not see in your life. It is very pleasant to walk in. Every detail is very well thought out. You can also coincide with events inside. There was an event with dolphins. Although I was against the use of animals in these events for commercial reasons, it was a good event. I felt sorry for the small area reserved for penguins. I am saddened by the confinement of living things that were brought from their natural habitats to small spaces.

Boss day out. Kids love it here. Lots to do and seem food is good but expensive. Toilets everywhere which is always a plus with 4 little kids. Not like your usual aquarium can spend a good part of the day here and not go bored. Dolphin show is good. So are the shark area. Lots of good stuff and good staff. 4D show is also good abs with the extra for the shark one.

Huge place that will require several hours for the best visit. Make sure to keep your kids well fed and happy to ensure that everyone will have a good time in yours and the others' groups. The exhibition will be crowded at times so have patience. The dolphin show is a must see. I watched it twice because, to be honest, it was a bit hard to follow. Young children around me thought the dolphin show was too much talk and too little action. When something cool actually happened they missed it because they didn't know where to look.I also weren't prepared when and where they would perform a trick. Penguins would have been so fun to see but the window on that exhibition was a bit dirty and had water droplets all over it making it a bit hard to see clearly. This diminished the possibilities of an amazing, once in a lifetime, experience. All in all, at first I thought it felt expensive but was actually very good value for money. If you visit Valencia and have the time and the money, go there.

Had a very nice experience with my family here. It was the main thing we enjoyed in Valencia. For anyone that is a lover of animals and oceanic life than I would recommend spending a couple hours here. We also got to witness the dolphin show where they taught us about the latest technology used in research and I found that really interesting. NOTE: We bought our tickets at the front office like a lot of other people. Definitely don’t need to book in advance unless you want to skip the line.

Amazing place. A must if you can - especially good for children. Sooo much to see. Be prepared for lots of walking both inside and out - place is enormous but very well designed and organised. Huge selection of rays and sharks. Beluga whales were the highlight for us and we  feel privileged to have seen them. Highly recommended buying tickets online beforehand

Recommending buying tickets in advance so you can skip the line. Need to know exact day and time of the visit to do so. There are some discounts if you buy combo tickets with other landmarks in the city. You can google it to see which ones. Also you need at least 4 hours to see all parts of the place, its really big. Dolphins show is worth it.

I arrived on a Saturday almost at 4 pm and they asked me if I wanted to enter because I had about 2 hours left for the visit. They were so kind. I managed to see everything in a bit of a rush, but definitely, I recommend taking more time. I loved the dolphin show, there was one ever hours and they announced it before the last one started. I also loved the rest of the visit, truly a great experience.

Such a great aquarium. I’ve visited many aquariums and this one is definitely top 5. So many different animals to see. I liked how they separated most of them by locations (where they would be found in the wild). They had very informative signs. Even though there were a lot of people, it didn’t feel overly crowded. We had a great time.

I absolutely love this aquarium one of my favorite. Easily my favorite part of Valencia. I would recommend buying the tickets online in advance huge time saver and it will save money. This place is great who all ages and you can easily spend the whole day here. I would highly recommend the dolphin show, it is amazing.

Amazing marine life centre, a must see. Amazing design and layout and plenty to see. Informative and instructional for adults and children. Good restaurant with table service and a reasonably priced food selection of food from the menu. The portions were very large as well. Highly recommended.

I did not know what to expect, but this place is really special. The buildings and facilities are amazing. You really need to 3 to 4 hours to see all well. The Delphine show is good (included as part of ticket price), but not super amazing, however it’s great for kids to learn. The shark tunnel is fantastic!

A diverse range of aquatic life on exhibit. Displays with an environmental theme are located throughout and feature powerful statements about pollution & plastics. Food services were not plentiful on site, but there are many nearby. Entrance price was a bit steep, but comparable to similar attractions in major cities.

This is definitely 100 times better than bioparc. It's got a huge space almost like the Disneyland of aquariums. It's easy to spend 4-6 hours here except the food options are terrible here so some people suggested bringing your own food. The dolphin show also is very boring, maybe it's very humane and kind to the dolphins but there was 70 percent lecture on saving the dolphins and 30 percent show. Kids couldn't even sit through it, the Spanish audience were the best though, they were singing and dancing thru the music which was much more interesting than the disorganized dolphins. To compare, even a tiny aquarium in Hokkaido Japan had a better dolphin show. However they do have some really cool tanks. I There was one underwater tunnel they had Atlantic fish which was not so pretty bit there was another tunnel with sharks and tortoises. It's very cool. The bird case was a cool structure but looks better from the outside than from the inside. The octopus is totally cool to look at. The whole area is pretty big but it's not too hard to walk it all. Not really sure I saw it all but the kids were too tired to keep going after 5 hours. Highly recommend the sharks, penguins, belugas, flamingos and the octopus. Very very fun place. Worth the entrance.

It's clear that the Oceanographic is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. From playful dolphins to majestic jellyfish, the experience is nothing short of magical.

Hands down the best aquarium I have ever been too - A great variety of spaces and stunning marine life, all in pristine facilities. We went there thinking it would be a couple of hours, but easily spent 4 - 5 enjoyable hours. Dolphins were definitely a highlight 🐬 Would certainly recommend going if you get the chance. Plenty of choices for food if you get hungry too - Great place for a family trip out

An amazing day out! We went In April and it wasn’t busy at all! They had great sections to view; split into regions and it was very spacious to walk around. So many cafe/food places to eat and drink. Great kids facilities. Very convenient busy-ness screens to let you know how full an exhibit is. Staff were all very friendly. Prices for food and drink expensive but expected in an attraction.

Fantastic place! We spent over 7 hours here, strolling around the outdoor exhibits, watching the dolphin show, and going through the many underground exhibits showcasing a wide variety of fish including sharks, rays and eels, as well as turtles, seals, beluga whales, and penguins. And so many birds - flamingos, ducks, ibis, swans, and spoonbills. Take your time! It's well worth the price of admission. This aquarium is well maintained and clean. Animals appear well taken care of. Staff are very friendly and most speak English. We went in January, with no lineups, but still recommend buying tickets online ahead of time. Got to go straight in! Be aware you can bring in water bottles to drink, but no food allowed. This is to make sure you don't feed the animals. Reasonable request considering the circumstances! This was definitely a highlight of our stay in Valencia. Highly recommend going for the day!

This aquarium is so pretty! There are a lot to see : beluga, turtles, pingouins, birds, crocodiles and more. You can easily spend half a day there and there are some restaurants/fast foods to treat yourself. I visited Oceanographic as an adult but I was as excited as a child. Would 100% recommend it, especially if you have kids.

Awesome. We loved it. The spaces are out of this world. I love how it puts a lot of focus on the environment. We booked the backstage tour that takes you inside and explain how the water filtration works. Our guide Nuria was very knowledgeable and replied all our questions. Also in case anyone needs it there are lockers, the size might fit a very small carry on, but otherwise I wouldn't take any luggage with you here. We also tried the 4D movie theater, it was very good. An amazing experience, I believe it was only 3 euros. It's a must see in Valencia.

Great place for the whole family, beautiful surroundings outside and the aquarium itself is really well managed and spacious. Even when busy, it’s quite easy to look around. It’s a fair bit of walking but lots of places to sit down.

Wow what a big and beautiful aquarium. I’ve visited some aquariums and I’ve never been to one where they pay so much attention to the animals and how big their living environments are. This is how we’ve ended up spending almost 4,5 hours here, something we couldn’t imagine beforehand. There are a lot different animals to see. Very good of the park to separate most of them by locations (where they would be found in the wild). Must say that the signage in English is very good and placed at every item.

Love the park. We had very nice weather so that is also a plus. But it's recommended to pay a visit. Only the Dolphin show was not what I expected. A little short in my opinion. But a lot fish and beautiful Aquariums to see.

Superb experience for our little one and for us. It was a bit crowded as we visited during the weekend. Parking is paid extra and the spaces are quite small. The show was wonderful, a bit short for what we expected but very friendly and lovely dolphins.

A unique market experience and must-see for tourists! While you might not be able to purchase many of the items, there are still fresh juices, drinks, snacks, and other take-home items. The freshness of every market item is unlike anything I’ve seen in the states!

The market is a dream come true for any foodie. We visited twice while in Valencia and got to try a lot of stuff. The produce is all fresh and the prices are absolutely fine. There are also bathrooms right by one of the main entrances. I'd appreciate at least a small corner to eat the food you purchase there. There's plenty of outside seating by one of the side entrances, but no shadow.

This market is incredible! It's probably the best indoor market I've ever visited. I'm almost lost for words. The building itself is beautiful, but it's the amazing amount of authentic working stalls inside that has to be seen to be believed. The choice of fresh seafood, vegetables, cheeses, meats, sweets, the list goes on, will take your breath away. The fact that this market serves the local community rather than pandering to the hoards of tourists adds greatly to its charm. Not to be missed.

The Central Market is one of the iconic places in Valencia. The architecture of the building itself, specially built for market trade, is noteworthy. But the most interesting thing is inside. There are fruit and vegetable rows and butcher shops with such a variety of jamon! Fish ruins are easy to find by their specific smell. But this is not the smell of a week’s catch, but a mixture of aromas of the freshest fish, octopus, cuttlefish and many more unknown sea creatures. Here you can wander around just like that, watching with interest the interactions between sellers and buyers, plunging into truly Spanish everyday life.

Fantastic place. First of all, the building is phenomenal, well maintained and beautifully decorated. The market has something for everyone, lots of seafood, different fruits and vegetables. Of course, there is also the famous prosciutto, which you must try. You haven't had breakfast, everything is waiting for you here 🙂🙂🙂

Very nice covered market in a very nice building!😍 If you are in Valencia you should definitely see it. Fresh meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, etc. A feast for the eyes. Wow, what an unbelievable site. There are so many vendors, fresh foods and delicious treats all over this place. There are a few things to know before coming here.. Some of the vendors only accept cash, they do not allow you to TOUCH the fruit unless you are purchasing it, it says it closes at 3:00 but everything shuts down at 2:00pm. On the back there is a nice bar with a long wait to sit at where you can grab coffee or a drink. It is crowded with locals and travelers. Go early on if you want a more upbeat relaxed experience because if you go towards closing there is a rushed feel. Next to the bar is a key copying place & a place to fix leather. This market is worth checking out!

A must visit for tourists and locals. One of the oldest markets in Europe that has been renovated and it shows; the architecture is beautiful and looks really clean for a market - so be sure to look up at the building as it can be missed with the other eye catching produce on offer. There can be an overwhelming amount of stalls to choose from and the market is huge, so give yourself ample amount of time to explore. There are plenty of cultural foods and drinks all at very good prices - there is bound to be something you will like. Minor issue is there is not much place to sit in so be prepared to either eat outside or standing up. Also there is a small fee for the toilet use.

Notice the parrot symbol all over the place, including the old parrot structure on top of the dome of the entire building. This bird is emblematic of the market being the place for news of town gossip! This symbol has existed since the central market has existed! Numerous fruit stands, delis, butchers, artisan products and etcetera. Also has a few restaurants to eat in while you are shopping. You will see that even locals shop for their greens and fruits here. I would recommend getting a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or a quick cafe cortado before walking around this massive commercial areas, which used to be the center of town. If wanting solid photos with less people in the vicinity, I would recommend coming right before siesta hours so that the place is semi-empty!

Amazing! Very hot and crowded -so maybe go early? Food was so fresh and was a great experience! Fruit, food, meats, a bar, desserts... Make sure to get the avocado toast in the back! Salads made fresh and such friendly service!!

Beautiful market, full of fresh produce, food and souvenirs. Make sure you try a few pots while walking around admiring the architecture. I was disappointed it was closed on a Sunday as I wanted more time there, but I'm glad I got the chance to see it regardless!

Nice place to visit to grab some snacks and taste some of the localities. There you can buy veggies, fresh and cured meats, cheeses, oils and amazing seafood and even some jewelry. The Pescados stand was amazing, there you can get some fresh Unis ( sea urchin) and oysters 🦪 by peace and try right there with lemon. That was so yummy! We tried cheese and sausages too. As well as some really nice olive oils. Amazing place to check out if you’re a foodie and you can get some gifts too!

This place was very nice! We got this delicious candied orange there and fresh fruits and smoothies. You can’t get lunch there but tons of places to get snacks. Tons of restaurants around the outside though. The setup was just beautiful though. Definitely worth checking out!

Fascinating old market building with all variety of foods on offer. Very Spanish and a treat to see all of the fresh produce. Worth going when there is some hustle and bustle around the middle of the day. It opens from 7:30am to 3:00pm so don’t make the mistake of trying to visit in the evening!

This is a beautiful traditional Spanish market with great architecture both inside and outside. You can find pretty much anything there including turon, sweets, chocolates, exotic fruits. It is also a great place to eat small tapas for lunch.

The biggest and most popular market in Valencia. We visited on two separate days to be able to see every shop. Multitude of options from trinkets and souvenirs to butchers and food stalls. If you’re a tourist looking to buy souvenirs to bring back home, this market is your one-stop shop.

This should be your number 1 place to visit whilst in Valencia if your a foodie like myself. It is simply stunning with a vast array of different shops and little restaurants inside. We spent a couple of hours here but could have stayed longer as it was so much fun. Free to enter and free to see all the beautiful types of foods from this area.

The Central Market in Valencia is great. It is in a very good location with lots on offer nearby, bars/ tapas/ street food, seating options a plenty. the street area around the market has lots to see with a number of vintage and artistic stalls. The indoor area is foodie heaven! With lots of local delights . And beyond that, lots of windy lanes to explore.

Love this market! Huge variety of food, both fresh groceries and cooked dishes. We wondered around for hours trying things from different stalls including fresh oysters! Great place to spend the afternoon. Only open until 3pm.

It’s the place to be when you want to buy fresh vegetables and all other ingredients. We saw a lot of things. If you just ho to the Central Market you can find all the ingredient to make a whatever dish you want to cook. We bought delicious Turron here to eat. Our first time. The atmosphere is good. The market is clean and hygienic. Even the fish and meat area are clean.

Paradise for foodie lovers! You can eat, drink, buy souvenirs, taste excellent oils and many more. Some merchants do not accept taking photos so please keep that in mind.

Beautiful old local market. Go early! Everything is closing down by 2pm (14:00). Great option for small bites, local specialties and local meat and seafood. If you’re a fan, look for the local fish mongers with fresh oysters 🦪 and uni/urchin,…or look for a favorite cured meat, paella, or seasonal fruit, all of which you can enjoy on the spot. For fresh food, be prepared with cash. Some vendors only accept cash, others only cash for small purchases, and most did not want to accept the Mercat certificados (cash coupons) that say you can spend them on market purchases. Most vendors told me they wouldn’t accept the certificates at all, or they were only for parking but not purchases.

A must see - one of the largest in the world with an astonishing choice and opportunities to drink/eat. Early in the morning the fish market is fantastic. A pity we cannot go shopping there every week.

I provide the review for the complex only.. as we did not have time to go inside the premises. To be honest, the architectural designs are extremely amazing. I cannot describe how it really impressed me. You can see from the pictures and video. The best is to experience the complex in the afternoon and enjoying the sunset to take pictures. We love the water entertainment too. Definitely in love with this place in addition to the paellas 🥳

Much fun for kids and grown ups. The science museum is one of the most interactive ones I've been to. The aquarium was well maintained, even though a bit expensive. Took us the good part of a whole day to cover both, ideally they should be done one a day. Buy your tickets in advance for sure, even for weekdays.

Special place, different and a must visit if you are in Valencia. Well served by means of transport and 10 minutes from the center. Futuristic structure, you can visit the botanical garden. the science museum, the innovation pavilion and what is on offer in the period you are in. Unfortunately, we came across a short period of exhibition and we still appreciated the architecture, the beautiful swimming pool with the equipment that you can rent. A moment of relaxation. You can also rent bicycles to go to the park next door or visit the exhibition space which is very large.

Amazing place. Even if you don't visit any of the buildings there, its still a great place to just take a walk and enjoy the amazing architecture. You can take a boat ride, grab a quick drink or sandwich at the small food stand. There is a small park there where you can sit on the grass and admire the view. I visited l'oceanográfico, it was nice. The kids would enjoy it the most, I think. It takes about 2-3 hours to fully enjoy it, and taking your time at each room.

If you like Architecture, photography, and wandering around in warm weather then this is probably the place for you. The architecture is amazing and provides countless photo opportunities. The only downside was that when I visited (mid June 2023) there was a stage built by the science building that obscured many views and I understood it was there all summer as they had a number of concerts planned in the space. Also, at night it appeared that a lot of the lights went off at 10pm, and only the opera building seemed to leave the lights on later.

The architecture is incredible. Each of the structures has distinctive features but maintains the space age style of the site. You can buy a range of entrance tickets depending on which attractions you wish to visit, the oceanographic being the most expensive. Also, it's only possible to enter the Opera House as part of a guided tour at set times. If you feel adventurous, you can hire a board or boat and shoot around the lake for a while. Each place is fascinating and worth a visit. You can also go in and out of the Science Museum as many times as you please during the day.

Must visit when in Valencia. You can walk from central Valencia in apparently 50 min or you can take a bus or a tram. Definitely very impressive! Spanish modern architecture to its T. I loved everything about it. There’s some restaurants and bathrooms if you are looking for one. Highly recommend.

Beautiful architecture and color scheme! It has many things to see and do. And is always full of people tourists, locals and students in large groups. The exhibits inside the water spaces are beautiful pierces of art. There are several shopping and eating places within walking distance.

Absolutely loved this place as the glass and skeleton like architecture goes so well with the water surrounding the buildings. The buildings and gardens are maintained well and they are very clean. We happened to visit when there was a Christmas market which was lovely as they had a variety of food stalls and gift shops. We didn’t enter any of the buildings but a walk around here and the park is a great way to spend the day!

Great place to visit with kids or kids at heart. Lots of interactive displays set in a very beautifully designed building. Worth the visit just to explore the building. Also tickets are reasonably priced compared to some of the close by attractions.

Amazing place. It looks like it’s from the future and I love it. You need to spend a full day there to really enjoy. I spent most of the time in the museum of Science and I loved the concept. There was a section for history of music, for the earth and mars and also different experiments you could try about a lot of scientific subjects. It is very educational and fund for children and people of all ages. I had fun.

These amazing futuristic buildings in Valencia are a must see. We visited on a cruise and the shuttle bus dropped up in the town centre where there are plenty of historic buildings to view. But I wanted to see the HEMISFERIC structure and other "star trek style futuristic buildings" and WOW WOW WOW. Thanks to Google maps and a cheap local bus ride to get us there.

The low rating is specifically for the science museum. I paid €9 and it was a total waste of money. The building itself is incredible, but you can see it for free from the outside. The exhibits inside are 90% Spanish with no translations. Everything felt disorganized which was a shame given how much space they had to work with. This could’ve been an amazing place to visit, but save your money and just walk through the lobby and visit the outside areas.

We liked the park because of the beautiful surroundings and everything is nicely put together. They have a lot of beautiful animals which you can see from quite small distance. We didn't like the price regarding the size of the park. It's actually quite small, was expecting a larger park... you can't bring some sort of food with you, which they don't have written on their site so don't bring many snacks with you, fruits are allowed. In general it's a lovely zoo but there are a lot more beautiful and larger round the Europe...

Bioparc Valencia is a fantastic zoo that is sure to please visitors of all ages. The zoo is well-maintained and organized, with informative signage and exhibits that teach visitors about the animals. The animals are well-cared for and seem to be happy in their enclosures. The setting of the zoo is also beautiful, with lush vegetation and ponds. I would highly recommend Bioparc Valencia to anyone visiting Valencia. Pros: - Well-maintained and organized zoo - Large collection of African fauna - Informative signage and exhibits - Educational and entertaining for all ages - Beautiful setting Cons: - Can be crowded during peak season - Some exhibits could be larger Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Bioparc Valencia and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valencia!

Very nice place to spend a day, very clean and well maintained. The animals are well-cared and have spacious enclosures, a lot of clean ponds and spraying water during the day. Even in hot summer day, there was so much shade it was actually comfortable. Food is expensive and not very good quality, but you do not visit Bioparc for the restaurant.

Bioparc was beautiful and very well designed. We enjoyed seeing the animals from different viewpoints. Eating lunch outside where we could see giraffes, lions and other animals was a great experience. Your food choices were amazing. It wasn’t “junk” food. We enjoyed Bioparc more than we have enjoyed zoos in the United States. The admission prices are fair and well worth the visit. Thank you.

I honestly loved this place. The enclosures are fantastic as different species live amongst each other. The animals looked relaxed and happy too which I find the most important factor. Plenty of drink vending machines and toilets dotted around the place.

One of the nicest zoos I've visited. The enclosures are built in such a way as to feel as natural as possible to both visitors and the animals of the park. You will hardly see any fences or cages, it all feels a lot more natural. The theme is Africa and there are only African animals in the park. The highlight has to be the fact that you can enter the lemur enclosure and have them running around you and up in the trees above you.

If you have an interest in wildlife and conservation, it is definitely worth a visit. Kids will love the place.

Lovely experience. From start to finish there were really entertaining ways to look and be very close to the animals . You also can have lunch and good ice cream there. Make sure to reserve about 3-4 hours to see everything calmly and enjoy it.

I've been to many zoos and this is among the best. Focused only on African species, they combine several different animals in the same exhibit. For example rhinos and zebras or giraffes and impala. there is a great flow to the design and you usually have different viewpoints of the animal areas. not a traditional cage anywhere. highly recommended.

Stunning modern take on a Zoo experience with carefully designed natural enclosures that will make you think "how can just that keep the animals inside?!" and fully immerse you into an authentic Safari experience! The highlight of my visit was seeing the rhinos and hippos playfully fight! What a show!

Had an amazing day at Bioparc, Valencia. It is so well designed and planned. It is really easy to see the animals and they are very relaxed and natural in this environment. There are plenty of signs giving lots of interesting facts too. Would definitely recommend to all ages and allow plenty of time for your visit.

Really enjoyed the visit. Plenty of biomes and animals to see. Lemurs up close were great. Restaurant food was brilliant and had no issues there whatsoever. Could do with more shading and possibly a mist feature to keep guests cooled during peak season, at some parts, the heat was unbearable.

I really enjoyed my visit to Bioparc Valencia. It is a nice zoo, smaller than I expected but that makes it easier to look around. My trip took ~2h for everything. It seems like they pay a lot of attention about every detail, especially animal welfare and their comfort.

Awesome park. Very pleasant place to spend time, especially with children. Very comfort spaces for animals, big, spacious, a lot of clean ponds and spraying water during the day, there is almost none quilty feeling on visiting zoo. I liked how clean the place is, wood, stone and glass everywhere for the terrain relief. There are nice places to eat, rest, buy a drink on premises.

A really great animal park - clean and animal friendly. The enclosures blend in with nature, there are no cages. Visitors really enjoy this place! Suitable for visiting with small children. Animals can be viewed from many angles. Their activities can also be observed in their private places - caves. Many food places that allow you to enjoy this pleasant park longer. What is very important for families with children - there are toilets everywhere. Some birds are "free range" (see picture!)

I think this was the nicest bioparc I ever went to. I really love the idea of creating micro-ecosystems and putting together species which are compatible. Also a great thing is they do not have cages! Animals are separated using streams of water and rock walls. I really recomand visiting this place!

Amazing place with various animals (yes it is not a typical zoo) - the animations are very educational (some of them are only in Spanish) and the visiting path is well designed, no need to look at the map all the time as there is only one main path. The animals are in quite good condition. The dauphin animation starts with a quiz (6 questions) to select a winner to have the opportunity to be interact with the dauphin which is a great idea! However the animation itself is a little bit “messy” as all dauphins are doing different activities on the same time.. the buffer restaurant has a great view on the giraffes and lions. Highly recommend to buy the tickets online in advance which saves time and money (slightly cheaper than buying on site)

Spent a bit more than 2 hours there. Amazing place to spend time and see beautiful animals. We went at 10AM right when it opens and had bought tickets in advance so we got in super fast and had no queue in front.

Nice park! Our 2nd time here! Great place to visit with the kids! Nice show of birds at 4.30 pm. The conditions for animals seem better and closer to natural than in the usual zoos. Make sure to put one layer of clothes more! It always feels colder than in the city. However, we hoped to see more species of animals such as snakes and others!

Easily the best zoo I have ever been to! Absolutely stunning landscaping and happy, healthy animals with large enclosures mimicking nature. So many interesting species to see and you get to see them so close I have never experienced anything like this! 100% worth a visit!

Truly amazing place. It's designed in a way that allowes you easily navigate to see everything without getting lost or using the map, although the map is available. You can spend there 2h but I'd recommend spending at least 5-6h. Personally I saw the whole park and after that I attended every event possible. Activities like live exhibition or meeting with keepers are enjoyable even if you don't speak Spanish. You can get a ticket online, including the meal which is a bit cheaper than buying it on site. Nevertheless it's not expensive either way. Bioparc is located 10-15 minutes on foot from metro. I should add that the whole place is so adorable, I'd go there even without any animals inside.

An uncontrollable river turned into a beautiful park: one of the best town-planning concepts I've seen around Europe. Lot's of trees, running tracks, bicycle routes, everything you need in a modern city.

It's an incredible 11 Km long park!!! The Lungs of Valencia City!!

It’s very big park thats good for Cycling, jogging, running and just leisure walk (around 9-10km).You can see very interesting trees and flowers just nice to keep up your activity. Went there during the sunny time (between 1pm-4pm) so you can imagine how hot it can be. Make sure to bring or apply sunblock when you’re planning to go be there same time as ours and don’t forget water. Oh and careful as well with animals poop as you might stomp it without you knowing it (my experience 😂) Recommended To have a visit on this park when you’re around the area.

Once a river, this park is 6km long and lower than the street level. Because of its river shape, it is a perfect place for joggers. This park has a designated track for runners with distance markers (every 100 meters). It’s also a lovely place to stroll, picnic, and do every kind of outdoor activities. It has become one of my most favorite parks in the world!

Beautiful and huge park. Cut through all the city like a green vein. Adapt for all kind of people and activities. However could use more public toilets!! (Sorry not my best pics)

Unique and extraordinary. It makes Valencia an outstanding first choice city break with children. The park runs 9km through the centre of Valencia between the bioparc and the centre of arts and sciences, giving traffic free access by foot or bike to many of the city's attractions. The park itself is a green oasis with lanscaped gardes, playgrounds, sportsgrounds and exercise areas. Could be improved if more toilets were available and bikes could be hired and dropped-off at multiple spots.

The Holy Grail is here! Believe it or not, you should visit the cathedral. The cathedral, La Seu in Catalan, is situated between two squares. It is built in Gothic style with Roman elements and other. For me, each cathedral is always one of the main sightseeing points. Because it is the history of the city. You can also visit the bell tower and enjoy the view of the city.

Must see when in Valencia! Entry ticket was around €10, you’ll get the auto guide included ( selection of languages available). Beautiful building inside and out. A lot of Artwork inside which is worth seeing and listening to the history. Cathedral was build in XIII century, so there is plenty history there. You have an option to climb the tower of the cathedral on your way out for an additional €1.5 ( you’ll definitely get your steps in that day ).

The most beautiful cathedral in Valencia! It’s such a precious place to visit and I believe it’s a must visit place for all tourists and visitors. Every angle of this cathedral is photogenic and it’s full of holy paintings and adornments that are worth the visit. The entry fee is €8 which is totally worth it as you can spend hours in there. It’s also quite close from the central station so you can walk there. Also there’s a mini museum inside so go have a visit.

Very beautiful place. We spend there around 2 hours as there are some additional zones with exhibitions around main part church. Inside and for an advanced price like 2-4 euro you can visit the tower. It's 240 stairs there.

The experience was made enjoyable through the useful audio guides and for €9 it was definitely worth it. Lots of other things to see not just the Holy Grail, which was impressive in itself.

You have to visit the cathedral if you're in the city. It's a bit pricey, and to go up the tower, they charge a supplement; but if the cost goes towards the upkeep of the building, fair enough. They do include an audio tour, which is surprisingly good, and there's a great museum inside that has superb displays and access to the catacombs.

we climbed the tower (207 steps, would not recommend the elderly or inactive) before visiting the church and the 360deg view was worth it! the church itself also exhibited a very interesting concept of mixture in architecture styles.. and one can see the holy chalice here. audioguide also enhanced the whole experience, worth a visit!

Went for the bell tower, but ended up staying for over an hour because of the museum in the cathedral. It is a separate entrance than the bell tower and requires a separate ticket, but is well worth it. Not only is the main part of the cathedral beautiful, but the museum is very interesting and actually takes you UNDER the church to an excavated area… which includes a small graveyard. Non-fluent Spanish speakers- everything here is in espanol, so I recommend downloading Google translate (and downloading the offline option, otherwise you won’t get the really interesting info from the sites under the church!).

Another great example of the church's wealth & power continuing into the 21st century in Europe. A good few interesting pieces, rooms & art. If you're spending a few days in Valencia, this is not a bad place to kill a few hours.

During my recent trip to Valencia, I had the opportunity to visit the iconic Valencia Cathedral. While the cathedral itself was undoubtedly interesting and impressive, the €9 admission fee seemed somewhat steep, especially since the building wasn't significantly more remarkable than other cathedrals or churches I've visited. As a non-religious person, I was still captivated by the stunning frescoes, intricate icons, and majestic statues throughout the cathedral. The architecture and historical context were noteworthy, adding depth to the overall experience. My main interest, however, was the 'Holy Grail,' believed to be the cup from which Jesus drank. Unfortunately, the artifact was tucked away in a small, dimly lit room and displayed in a dark case, making it difficult to see clearly. The room was under renovation, which made it challenging to appreciate the artifact in a serene setting. Furthermore, there was a lack of information or indication about the Holy Grail's significance, aside from a lengthy audio tour that included unnecessary chanting. In summary, the Valencia Cathedral is an interesting place to visit with its impressive architectural and historical elements. However, my expectations regarding the Holy Grail were not entirely met, and the €9 fee seems excessive for visiting what I perceive to be a public church. If you're in Valencia, it's worth a visit, but be prepared for the admission price and potentially underwhelming display of the Holy Grail.

Absolutely splendid medieval cathedral with significant 18th-century renovations. The prerecorded handheld tour guide was just right in terms of length and detail. There is a super museum accessed from within the Cathedral with amazing artefacts. The Cathedral itself has at least one painting by Goya. And if you like relics, this is definitely your kind of place!

Gorgeous cathedral with lots to see inside. Budget at least an hour if not longer. It's not only the church (which hosts the holy grail and the arm of the patron Saint of Valencia) but there is also a museum attached to the side. Be sure to check out the upper floor that has lots of artwork and artifacts. Clean bathrooms available on the 1st floor. If short on time, I would suggest the Valencia Cathedral over Saint Nicolas.

A very beautiful cathedral in the middle of Valencia's city square. A must visit when in the city. Beautiful altar that opens and closes like a cabinet. One of the best in Spain in my opinion, perhaps just behind the one in Seville.

Right in the heart of the old city centre, this cathedral is absolutely beautiful. It costs to enter, but it's worth it. You get an audio device as part of the entrance fee. There are chapels surrounding the main altar piece that are worth exploring. My absolute favourite is the magnificent and highly decorative baroque altar. Staff are very friendly and I highly recommend visiting.

Oozes history. The walk to the Bell tower is a great challenge too - 200+ steps but the view from the top is incredible. Top tip - you must have cash to enter as they don't accept cards

Well organized visit with relevant short explanations. Beautiful interior, certainly spend time in the museum. The tower is high (207 high steps, no resting place) and the view on Valencia from the top is a bit disappointing. We do not recommend to climb if you are not in great shape.

A very interesting cathedral - 9 euros entrance fee, they give you an audio guide, which lasts about 1.5 hours and tells in great detail and mostly very interesting about the history of the temple, Christianity and Valencia. You can calmly sit on a bench, listen to the tour and enjoy the beauty of the temple.

Really huge cathedral! There's an audio guide available, and I believe you'll need it to fully explore this wonderful church! We paid around 10 euros per person, but I've read that you can visit for free after 6 PM

Marvellous! It literally feels like stepping into a movie! We walked in during mass, which made it feel even more solemn. I wish I knew more about its history coz I think I would have appreciated it more. It’s super central so don’t skip it, you are gonna have to pass by it sooner or later, so take the opportunity and walk in and explore all the nooks and crannies!

Worth a visit as it’s free entry and it’s such a beautiful medieval architecture that used to be used as a food trading place, like a market. It’s right next to the Central Market and it has stunning views of the church in front. The gardens are well kept and the building has tall and delicate pillars.

Highly recommend to visit. This place is a hidden gem, just next to Mercado Central. Maybe it is not a very lengthy tour, just several halls, but each of them is just stunning! The main one is enormous and takes you back in time to middle ages. The price for entrance is also a nice surprise, just 2 EUR per person. In addition you can get an audio guide. We really enjoyed the place during wanderlust in Valencia.

A UNESCO World Heritage site, this monument is a feast for the eyes. Built by the city council in the late 15th century to house the commerce, the architecture and decorative stone work is filled with symbolism of religion, sin and wealth. The audio guide is highly recommended, highlighting the details and history of this impressive building.

Beautiful buildings with so much history. A great little place to visit and get a feel of what Valencia used to be like. Take your time strolling along the walls and door frames to see all stunning carved pieces. From the courtyard to the halls, all in their original layout and each area has its bit of historical place. Cheap to enter and Audio Information given. Definitely worth a visit

The building has very nice architecture, it isn’t too big, it’s has a small courtyard and and lovely interior with a small chapel and some plaques on the walls, the designs and structure was beautiful as was the garden, I would recommend checking it out if your in the area.

Incredible building! Beautiful both on its interiors and also facades. I would recommend to spend some time watching the videos explaining the history and details of the building! Sunday’s is free :) but regardless it would be worth it to pay for an entry ticket!

It's one of the highest-rated tourist attractions in Valencia for a reason - it's a breathtakingly beautiful building. The entrance fee was a measly 2 euros and the guided audio tour was really fascinating; I'm used to feeling ripped off when I visit tourist attractions but this was accessible, incredibly well-maintained, cheap and very informative. Highly recommend.

Beautiful building, inside and out. Definitely worth the visit even just to see the interior architecture and decor. You won’t spend a long time here as there are only three or so main rooms, but with the orange tree courtyard in the middle, and the amazing merchant trading hall, it’s not to be missed. Free entry on a Sunday!

I went here with the guide from a walking tour. She explained the history of this building, why it was built and many fun facts. In general, it’s a pretty and well-managed historical site to visit, but if you come by yourself, it might be more interesting to get an audio guide.

This entire edifice is an indication of how powerful and bold silk tradesmen were during Europe's expedition of the Orient (Marco Polo). The small, provocative ornaments on the structure's main door are facing the church directly... making it even more bold of the silk tradesmen back then! The architecture is obviously why one goes here. But the history of silk and how it built half the city through the Silk Road from Asia is also a narrative that provides more context to your visit. I suggest doing a quick wiki. The spiraling columns are different especially when you stand up close and look up. The best lighting seems to be around 10 AM when it opens.. the best time to take pics!

A very strange place - it costs 2 euros (free with the Valencia tourist pass), which seems like quite a bit. But surprisingly, the visit is not worth it at all. Well, that is, there is nothing interesting inside at all. The building is cool from the outside, it’s also nice on the inside, but there’s no information written anywhere about anything, all the halls are empty, there’s no ancient furniture or other furnishings that would tell us how everything worked here. In one of the halls they play a video - very boring.

An incredibly beautiful building and well worth a visit. We bought the audio guide and I found the nasal American accent which is supplied for English pretty grating and this detracted from the overall experience. Other than that it's well worth a visit - great insights into the history of Valencia.

Undoubtedly this place is among my top 5 in Valencia. It is so pretty with amazing architecture, gorgeous gardens and gorgeous views of the town. And the fact that is free is unbelievable! A must if visiting Valencia!

The place IS worth visiting provided you pay separately for an audio guide which offers visitors an abundance of details with regards not only to the historical significance of this place (see the triad The Cathedral, The Silk Exchange and Generalitat), but to the mixture of symbolism carved into stone both inside and outside. Not to mention the beauty of the gargoyles.....

This is a world heritage site, and I'm not surprised. It takes you back in time. I have never seen a building like this before. The features are stunning. The history have to be seen and heard via audio. We'll be worth the money and it does not take too long to see around the building. If you only have limited time to sea the hidden treasures of the city, this is a must.

Interior and exterior of this building is very beautiful. Large stained glass windows, wooden ceiling and a lot of stone looks amazing. It would be great if it has some information stands about the place.

Ticket machines are dreadful - be patient - as the queue for the ticket office was worse. Apart from that great location and interesting decor… Staff were very helpful.

The train station is a beautiful place, you can take the trains to go to another cities like Barcelona. And here also you can find a lot of coffee shops, stores and more. The decoration is lovely, you should visit the big office in the right side, the place decorated with colourful mosaicos is great!

Old school train station. But you can get a meal and snacks as needed. It's very close to the main city center and all metro stops. Just a classy train station.

Very clean facilities and lots of café options. Staff on hand to help with ticket machines and platform queries, clear signs to help you find where you’re going. Customer service can be a bit slow.

Train delayed by 2 hrs, no fans in rhe station- so hot!! Surprising the authorities have not thought of providing the fans or some cross ventilation!

I am really sure that is the most beautiful, amazing and remarkable railway station in the world. Every its rooms is a masterpiece of art, contaminated by arabic style. A typical style that you can find only in the Mediterranean Spain. This is the best artistic place in Valencia.

Beautiful old train station. I love the interior decoration; it is all covered with mozaic ornaments and paintings. On the right from the entrance there is a small hall where you can see some fantastic mozaic images giving you an idea what Valencia is famous for: silk, oranges, climate and ceramic goods. Sometimes they organize expositions in this hall as well.

A visit to the Plaza de la Virgin is central to Valencia. A must see when visiting the cathedral, the square is simply a pleasure to walk around or to sit down for a drink and enjoy this less frequented corner of the city. The plaza is host to a number of bars and cafes where you can grab a something to drink at any hour of the day and soak up the atmosphere. Around the plaza they largely sell beverages and snacks. TIP: If you’re in Valencia on a Thursday, it’s a good opportunity to see one of the weekly meetings of the "Water Court of the Plain of Valencia” held at 12 noon on the right side of Gothic Door of the Apostles of the Valencia Cathedral. Declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, the "Water Court" is the oldest working judicial institution in Europe.

Such an incredibly spot in a beautiful city like Valencia. It is surrounded by historic churches and has a nice fountain in the middle. I was in awe of the place and the energy around it. We visited during Christmas so it was all lit up and nicely decorated. I strongly recommend a visit to this beautiful piazza.

Two different churches in the same square. The first is baroque style. The other one is a mix from baroque, Gothic and Roman style because it builded in different periods of time.

Loved heading to Plaça de la Verge in the evening for dinner surrounded by beautiful buildings. There was different street performers every evening to entertain you. Always a busy spot

What a beautiful square! An absolute must go if you are in Valencia, it’s super central So if you stay in the centre start here and then move outwards, towards the parks and the ciudad des ciencias. When you approach this church from behind look up at the mini bridge linking the palace and the church!

Beautiful plaza where the main entrance to the cathedral is located. Lovely fountain decorates part of the square which is the heart of Valencia. Extremely popular place to visit so if you really want to appreciate it, visit early morning or during the night. Or enjoy it by sitting on the steps eating Churros & Chocolate ( typical Valencian dough sticks with Hot Chocolate) and watch the world pass by.

this is a great square to watch the world go by, admire the architecture and branch off into the surrounding alley ways and streets. Make for the city gates 5 minutes away and don’t forget the old river bed

This is a lovely square to enjoy and walk around in Valencia. The Turia Fountain, the entrance to the Valencia Cathedral and multiple restaurants are all here. There was also free street entertainment when we visited. The house of Santiago Calatrava, a renowned Valencia architect is also visible from the square.

Was a very lovely place with lots to do and see, there are several churches and museums in the area to visit and lots of delicious restaurants near by. Was worth stopping by and checking it out. I would recommend it if you’re in the area.

Beautiful place. Difficult to capture its charm in photos. The marble square floor meeting the surrounding historical stone walls. The female fountain figures sharing water with imaginary passers-by. Still, the poetry of this place can only be found in the absence of man....in very early mornings.

My visit to Plaza de la Virgen in Valencia was truly enchanting! Surrounded by the grand Valencia Cathedral and the Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados, the square exudes a magical atmosphere steeped in history. A beautiful town square with plenty of stores and shops around. Only thing to do is to walk inside of the church, but that’s about it.

The beach is huge, clean and inviting... I didn't get the impression that it was overly crowded, probably because of the large space - you can relax, read, relax and will not feel overwhelmed... In the afternoon, it is also worth visiting because of the beach volleyball matches. The atmosphere is definitely cheerful and friendly.

Very nice beach, which also has the beach bar on the sand area. There are not so many establishments (bars, restaurants, souvenirs shops, etc.) like at the las Arenas, but one can find many other paella and other restaurants nearby. Mobility between the other beaches is very easy, one can get from one to other within 10 minutes just walking across the sand area or concrete paths.

The beach is very beautiful, easily accessible, with very fair rental prices for umbrellas, €7 per umbrella and €5 for chairs. The kiosks sell various drinks at an attractive price. Family environment, calm sea, perfect.

Beautiful place to have a walk, very lovely beach, very clean, safe and water was very lovely. They have lots of shops and a delicious restaurants close by. Lots to do and see in this area. Great place to spend the day with family and friends. Great place for kids and to walk your dog. I definitely recommend stop by if you’re in Valencia.

Very long (around 1Km) beach. Amazing view. I advise to check sunrise time and go there at least 30 minutes before the sunrise, you won’t be disappoint. One of the main attraction in Valencia. Calm relaxing environment. Highly recommended

Really nice long beach, soft sand, comfortable water temperature all of August. Not much undertow as the waves are normally minimal so it's popular with families. There are walkways to take you out across the sand, and public showers / footbaths. I've been here numerous times over the last month, often for sunrise, before it gets crowded. The public restrooms open around mid-late morning maybe 10:30ish. There are a couple of portolets open by 7:30am if you really need a place to go. The city cleans the beach early every morning, empties all the trashcans, and even manicures the sand with tractors. There are also police on 4-wheelers patrolling after about 8am or so. I have a waterproof pouch to take a little cash, credit card, keys, and the public transport pass. There are trams that take you from downtown to the beach in about 20 minutes.

Great beach with soft sand and warm water. Went there in September 2023 and the price for umbrellas and sun beds was €7 each. It's close to multiple restaurants and it has a nice, relaxed vibe. Also it's really easily accessible from the city center by bus.

My wife and I took the tram from the city almost to the coast and enjoyed this really beautiful beach. Swimming and sunbathing is a real pleasure. However, it is necessary to bring a deckchair and a parasol. Great feelings and lots of enjoyment in the sun caressing you.

About 30 minutes by public transport from Old Valencia, this beach has a nice promenade and walkway that you can walk on for over an hour. The distance between sand and shore is long, allowing for ample space for sun worshippers. The water level as you enter the ocean from here stays shallow for a good few meters, which is good for families and kids to play in. Umbrellas (7 euros), reclining beach beds (7 euros), and folding chairs (5 euros) as of July 2023.

Had a wonderful time at Malvarrosa beach in the shoulder season (mid-October). Very quiet, pleasant temperatures in the mid-morning and late evening. Shower and foot washing facilities, plenty of eateries lining the coast which are not ridiculously overpriced. The water is a pleasant temperature, and remains below head height about 20-30 metres out. Was very calm both days I was there.

Climb the stairs and enjoy the views over Valencia rooftops. You go up on green semaphore and you descend on green also. Up there, if you are lucky, (at every exact hour) you will hear the huge bell ringing. If you go late, you may catch the beautiful sunset.

This Valencian Gothic-style bell tower of Valncia Cathedral is 50.85 metres high. It was built between 1381 and 1424 and access to the tower is from inside the Cathedral by means of a spiral staircase with 207 steps. Entrance 2 eur and you can count on really nice view from the top.

The entrance costs 2€. It is the best place to observe Valencia from top. On Sundays the opening hours start from 14:00. The tower itself was finished in 15 century, there is something magical in climbing those ancient narrow stairs!

The views are great. The steps are no joke. It is pretty strenuous and it’s hard for others to pass you, so make sure you are you are up for it. Also, make sure you have plenty of time. The stairs are one-way, so you have to go up and wait until the stairs are available for going down again. They do have a credit card machine, but they were reluctant to use it, so bring cash if you can.

Only 207 steps to see the city from a high point. Its worthed. Keep in mind there is a bell up there i(f you go at 12 o'clock for example) but the sound is bearable and not too sharp. There is a light to regulate the stream of people going up and down so dont expect to climb and go down right away -you will have to wait a little.

Beautiful chapel that holds the Holy Grail... walk thru this one without a tour guide. You can get an audio guide with your admission price and that's all you need..oh and alot of time... do not rush this one... there are some Goyas, some relics, an underground vault and, yes, the holy grail...

Great way to get a panoramic view of the city! Affordable price and great arrangement to access the top floor. The climb it’s around 200’steps on a narrow steep spiral staircase which can be trying. It is done by slots of 20 minutes so you can climb comfortably, take your time at the top and go down after the announcement is done so you don’t bump with people on your way up/down. I found that very smart, convenient and safe :)

The views are worth the climb up the steps. It is a true workout though, so if you are not in shape or have breathing challenges you might want to skip it. Bring your inhaler. Narrow staircase with only one way traffic.

Only €2.50 to go to the top. 207 steps up with a handrail, it does get narrow towards the top. Great red and green light system to avoid crossing on the steps.

If you love history, love churches and architecture you will be in seventh heaven pardon the pun. It literally is like being in the Sistine Chapel as you gaze up to the most awesome paintings ever. The full audio guide is definitely worth listening to and I found the $11 euros worth every penny. Adored this place and stayed for ages. Entrance is hard to spot so keep your eyes peeled for the large wall poster!

This is an unbelievable experience. Stunning art and beautiful architecture. I have been to Valencia many times and somehow missed it. It should be on the top of any visitor’s list. The people running the church are wonderful and very helpful. Audio guide is included with your ticker and you can even use your phone. The entrance is down a side alley so look for it but usually someone is by the sign to direct you inside.

When I read about this church I thought oh no, not another kitschy hyperbaroque escapade. They call it Sistine Chapel of Valencia. But when I actually entered it...yes, flamboyant, but still with character, balanced. I stayed here much longer than in the Cathedral nave, the atmosphere somehow caught me. Definitely visit and try to feel it. Perhaps it will be worthy, who knows.

An almost must see if you're into the Gothic style. This Roman Catholic church is stunning for it's murals and ceilings. Well hidden in the old city of Valencia between houses. Look at the opening hours (closed on Monday's), they may vary. Look at the pictures what to expect. Audio tour is available and inclusive. Price for adults is € 9.

must visit. I got a €4 reduction from €11 due to being an old g#t. The place is so full of Catholic bling. I have seen the Sistine and whilst not as wonderful it is still quite something. The free audio tour is worth using, though the amount of information is mind blowing. I am glad I don't have to sit an exam to show my recall. I took lots of photos and videos to help me recall. my visit. The time to get round is probably minimum 20 mins but half an hour is better.

Artwork is astonishing. Normally not a church guy but this is truly stunning. Recommend going full hardcore tourist and taking the audiotour. You can scan it with a QR code. Very easy. If you have a artsy bone in your body check it out

Our first time in Valencia and was told not to miss this church. This was one of the most beautifully painted churches I have been to. The paintings on the ceilings of the lives of Saint Peter Martyr and Saint Nicholas are amazing as well as the many chapels around the church. There is an audio guide where you can listen to the history as you walk around admiring the paintings.

Outstanding, impressive art. Very well put together its history by audio phones included in the entrance. This is a must see. The Sixtine Chapel of Valencia.Entrance fee was 9 euros provinding audio phones and an explanatory pamphlet in English and Spanish.

Absolutely gorgeous, definitely worth the trip, very lovely place. Lots to do and see, lots of delicious local food. It’s a very lovely church, they have lots of lovely artwork inside and the architecture was stunning; it is very well kept, nice and clean. It was free when we went it was a holiday in Spain; but they may charge $5/10 euros. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this church if you’re in the area / close by.

If only there were more than 5 stars to rate this church! I always try to visit different churches in Europe, admire their architecture and all the unique details. I usually do not review churches on Google but this one is the one to remember for long time! You can feel it from the moment you enter. The only thing i will mention is that it took 3 years to paint the whole church which is inspired from Sistine chapel in Vatican.

Definitely worth a visit. The entrance ticket includes an audio guide with a good headset. The English guide is good, clear and not too long or too short. A combination ticket can be purchased, currently at 12€, including entrance to church of Santos Juanes and silk museum although San Nickolau church is the best.

The sistine chapel of Valencia might be a bit of a stretch. We had high expectations and it is a very nice church with very friendly staff and good audioguide. But the church is actually on the smaller side if compared to some italian churches. Ornately designed but not exactly breathtaking. Feels very calm to be here. Not exactly a must visit but still worth a visit.

This is more of a business than a church. We entered for a mess for free and wanted to quickly look around before it starts, but were approached by staff and told in a not very polite manner that we have a right to only sit and wait for mess, if we want to look around we need to pay 10 Euro. Very unpleasant experience, not only they want entrance fee from you, they collect money during mess from people and next to every altar they placed a donation box. Just a facility to make money. Ceiling is nice but I would never pay that much money just for that. There’s so much staff watching your every move and instructing what you can or cannot do that they might as well have blindfolded us to make sure we are not looking around for free.

I’d looked at the pictures before but it really is like the Sistine chapel, and without guards shouting at people so even better. Free audioguide was a good take to understand some back story to the various shrines. Probably spent 45 minutes there in total along with some sitting down time looking at the details. Don’t assume the lady at the front is the ticket lady, she is most definitely not. Go down the alley to the actual ticket office

Very small, not very beautiful town. Boat rides on old boats. Rice fields only nice looking in particular season.

I'm not sure we actually were in the park bit we did visit El Palmar twice. The paella here is dramatically better than most places in central Valencia. If you like boats the boat rides are inexpensive and 40 to 60 minutes. The town itself is not interesting at all.

If you are in Valencia and love nature and dusk then please please take some time to visit this place. An absolutely panoramic view of the sun setting at the end of lake filled horizon. You can also book a boat to yourself to view the sunset. If lucky, you may encounter with the park’s own wildlife that trails like a jungle safari. This is the most enchanting evening spend I had in Valencia. Seriously, don’t miss it.

It was worth the wait for the last boat trip at 5.15pm in El Palmar. It was €6 and lasting for an hour. The boat stopped in the middle of the lagoon for passengers to view the sunset. Do wear a jumper. The problem was everything was closed incl restaurants and toilets when the boat trip ended. I had to hang around in the cold for 45 mins for the bus going back to Valencia. Otherwise, the experience was fantastic.

The boat ride is a MUST. We booked our tickets in advance for the sunset ride. Since it was cloudy, we couldn’t see a perfect sunset but the boat ride was worth. It was an hour ride in total. You can feel the stillness and calm when they stop the boat in the middle of the lake.

Highly recommend the boat trip from El Tio Pastella. 20 euros for the whole family for about an hour. Great way to see the Albufera.
