Excellent Cambridge museum. The current exhibition: Islanders The Making of the Mediterranean - which runs until 4 June - is spellbinding. It spans thousands of years, from neolithic Crete to Roman period Sardinia and includes an object that is 9,000 years old. The exhibition is free is free to enter but a ticket is required. The museum's permanent collection is also amazing; I particularly like the ceramic pieces that are on display.

Worth to visit this beautiful museum which is holding historical stuff from all over the world. It’s free and in centre location of Cambridge city. Building itself is a beautiful architecture. Not big as London Museum but still offering a lot from all over the world specially Egyptian, Greek, Roman etc which is spreading different time period.

We visited the Fitzwilliam on a Thursday morning, having pre-booked free entry. I've visited many museums but I think this might be one of the most fascinating smaller collections I've seen. In May 2022, they cleverly juxtaposed David Hockney's exhibition pieces alongside permanent and older work that resembled them, it was very well done. Highly recommend when in Cambridge.

Loved this museum. From medieval armors and weapons to ancient Roman Empire or even Egypt. The collection is superb and worths your time to pay it a visit. When you want to take a break there is a coffee/tea shop near the souvenirs. I really enjoyed my time here and definitely I'll return as I didn't had enough time to explore it properly.

The museum is definitely worth a visit! A great place with an impressive number of paintings and antiques from Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Unique collections of famous artists, interesting artifacts, sculptures, porcelain, armour. Everyone will find something for themselves! Admission to the Museum is free!

An enormous range of artworks, some especially famous ones such as Monet's. Great selection of flower still lifes, along with religious artworks. Art is sorted by country of origin. There is a gigantic collection of ceramics, varying in age. The gift shop is large and quite good, there is also a café.

One of the best museums in Cambridge. The entrance architecture is stunning as it is inspired by ancient Greek temples. Lots of paintings, historical weapons, statues, and objects. The entrance is free of charge and you get to see a lot of things, a must-stop when visiting Cambridge.

Nice Museum to visit, my son wanted to see the Egyptian items. You could spend a couple of hours walking around looking at the interesting artifacts. You have to book your tickets online before you go. Its free to visit or you can make a donation if you like.

Beautiful museum, which is definitely worth a visit! It's free and there are also a gift shop and a cafe. There is a lot to see, so you would need a few hours to see all the galleries. You can see art from all over the world and you can see artefacts from different time periods. There are sections dedicated to Egyptian, Greek and Roman history, just to name a few.

Amazing place! Full of interesting history (from Romans to Egypt, Japanese etc etc.). Very nice displays with detailed describtions. The art and pictures gallery upstairs was exceptional too, full of nice pictures. The museum is situated in the heart of Cambridge (good location). And all this wonderful experience was Free of charge!

Excellent museum. Free entry to permanent exhibitions. Or did I walk in unnoticed? Grand building. Parking nearby not cheap but worth a visit or several. Lots of pottery and trinkets but some great art. Handy cafe. Affable varied staff appear everywhere. Blake exhibition to pay to see at this time. But had to pick up someone at Cambridge North.

It was such a beautiful experience at the Fitzwilliam Museum. Although most of the art works are appreciated by just viewing and not touching, they’re still worth viewing. The entire museum is really big and the facilities are also good. It’s a very picturesque place, has a disability entrance as well. There’s also a table with supplies to draw and paint. Helpful assistants as well. We appreciated the moment.

One of the best museums in Cambridge if you are on a quick day trip (as ours were unexpected). We entered without a ticket,as it's only until January I guess. The paintings were fascinating. Much to see about Egyptian culture and sculptures. Not sure about the European potteries, didn't feel authentic. PS: do not fell for the shop and cafe, overpriced, you can get most of them around Cambridge City for less

Breathtaking chapel. Been local for all my life and have recently gone in. Well worth the wait. Beautiful structure. The grounds are quite something as well. Worth a visit in summer to see everything in flower.

As seen on the Christmas day service but with the live wow factor. We were treated to some organ music and a gentleman playing the harp which added to the atmosphere. The history of the chapel is fascinating and the staff were very helpful and approachable. One place I would love to go again, just to hear the choir.

One of the oldest colleges in Cambridge with a huge history! You can enter with a ticket to visit the place where it is wonderful. There you can read about its history and admire its magnificent architecture! You must first go if you want to see all the places to be informed if you allow entry all seasons and all hours in advance. There is a period when due to exams or other events you are not allowed to enter everywhere.

Went there last week and it was very beautiful inside, particularly the fan vaulted ceiling, the choir benches and the golden organ. The side rooms were full of history about the red and white roses (Tudor dynasty, the 3 kings who built the chapel: Henry VI, Henry VII, Henry VIII), as well as the construction techniques and architecture. I lived in Cambridge since 2012 and honestly this is the second best tourist destination in Cambridge. (the first is punting)

The words are too small to express the grandiose architecture exposed in front of my eyes. The history of it, the perfect garden near it, the small details, perfect of this building is extreme. I surely recommend it

I always say Yes to historical old buildings. It is so amazing how are built these old College Chapels etc. These old buildings are so luxurious, with lot of secrets. Maybe I don't see the reason why I need pay money to visit God house. But still was very exciting place.

Undoubtedly the most iconic building in Cambridge and one of Europe's finest late Perpendicular Gothic English buildings. Indeed, the Chapel features the world's largest fan vault. The foundation stone of King’s College Chapel was laid on 25th July 1446 by King Henry VI, but was not fully complete, including some of the finest stained glass windows in the world, until 1547 under King Henry VIII. Most days the chapel opens for sightseeing at 9:30am, with final entry 3:15pm; though make sure to check in advance because this can vary. It’s astonishing especially the inside. All the details on the vaulted ceiling and the coloured glasses is breathtaking. It’s has a very nice walk as well to the Backs which you can walk across the bridge and see the punts in the water with a whole view of the Kings college and the chapel. It is a million dollar view.

Very interesting beautiful building. Seemed strange to be in a Chapel which was full of youngsters creating quite a bit of noise. It was actually quite refreshing. Found the information leaflet really helpful. You can buy tickets from shop opposite King's College.

Absolutely breathtaking. Feels like a refreshing experience every time I walk into it. As well as the spectacular fan vault ceiling, and beautiful stained glass, some other nice things about it are definitely the organ, candlelit events/services, and, if you’re lucky, it’s heated flooring. Worth coming to visit!

Amazing masonry. Unbelievable that most of it has survived now than 500 years, that's what the patronage of Henry VIII meant I suppose. A couple of really interesting explanation areas, I would have perused a lot more thoroughly if alone. It seems rather expensive, but I'm glad we visited.

One cannot visit Cambridge without visiting King's College Chapel (a shop opposite sells tickets). There is a detailed exhibition of its history and a pamphlet guide. A stunning place!

Got very lucky today to have a chance to see this spectacular Chapel. King’s College Chapel is prime example of late Perpendicular Gothic English architecture. It’s the second biggest Chapel in the world and features the world's largest fan vault. Beautiful and stunning stained glass windows around whole Chapel 12 windows on each side. Window 1 - The Lamb of God and the Wedding at Cana, Window 2 - Christ and Jairus’ daughter and calling the fishermen, Window 3 - The transfiguration and Christ with the disciples, Window 4 - Lazarus and preparation for the Passover, Window 5 - The last supper and its Old Testament antecedent, manna in the desert, Window 6 - The Light of the World, Window 7 - The Bread of Life, Window 8 - The Lamb of God, Window 9 - Christ of Revelation, Window 10 - The Good Shepherd, Window 11 - Jesus appears to his disciples, Window 12 - The Ascension of Christ and Elijah etc. Peaceful and magnificent chapel where you can come to enjoy the beauty of the place itself and have time to think about life and merge with the wonderful atmosphere. If you get luck you can attend the chapel when they have their own choir singing.

The second biggest chapel in the world and incredibly beautiful as well. It's kept in perfect shape, the history behind it is really interesting and the tour guides will tell you everything there is to know about this masterpiece.

If you’re in Cambridge, make sure to go “punting” on the River Cam. Rent a boat for £30, spend a few hours paddling down the river. You’ll cross the Bridge of Sighs, the Mathematical Bridge, and many others. Many guided tours available. The red boats offer alcohol for sale. Excellent leisure activity in the afternoon with family or friends.

I was in a magical land for that one hour in River Cam on the punt. Can’t explain the ambience in words. A must must visit in the whole of UK. We went in late November, but the weather was kind and got some amazing pictures. I would recommend not focusing on taking pictures much coz you’ll loose the feel of the punting trip.

River cam is one of the most peaceful rivers I have ever come across. The river is a popular attraction in Cambridge as visitors can have the opportunity to experience punting. The surrounding of the river is very relaxing and tranquil. This place is a must-visit for visitors who are planning a trip to Cambridge!

The total experience of punting down the River Cam in the educational city of Cambridge was so awesome. It was exciting and calming at the same time, passing under various bridges and flanked by historic buildings like St. John's College and Queen's College among others. The views are picturesque and breathtakingly beautiful.

Well worth a visit during October. The trees were beautiful this time of year with all the reds and yellow leaves. Very autumnal. It took an hour and half to walk around the whole place. Its worth the money. We paid standard adult price to get in. There is a cafe there reasonably priced. There are toilets around. Friendly staff at the gate and in the shop.

I wish I could be there longer! I took a train to Cambridge for 49 minutes, then walked 5 mint there. Easy to find! The entry fee is 8 pounds, very reasonable. Although not cheap, the botanical garden was a fantastic location to visit. The glass house, winter garden, bog garden and rock gardens were all very well presented with a large variety of interesting and beautiful flora. I would have liked to see a bit more variety towards the south walk area of the park, but overall it was a lovely place to visit. Would recommend in all weather conditions due its natural beauty!

A lovely botanical garden in the centre of Cambridge. There is so much to see even in the winter, I'm looking forward to returning during the summer months. A short walk from Cambridge railway station. The winter garden is really beautiful and scented, a real lift during the dull day's. Lot's of places to sit and relax. We went to see the snowdrops, you can't believe that there are so many varieties.

Beautiful walk through this peaceful place. The entry fee for adults is £8 which includes a donation to the botanical garden. The greenhouse has a variety of plants from all around the world. The man at the entrance gate was very friendly and explained the map of the garden to us. It takes about 1.5 hours to walk around the whole area and there is also a cafe which serves drinks and food.

Lovely place. The kids did not want to leave. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place for picnic with friends or family. Close to train station. Better bring your own drink. The size of a bottle you can buy there is 33ml for around £4. One bottle was not enough for me on a hot sunny day.

A beautifully manicured botanical garden. Mine was only a short afternoon visit of the main gardens and Fens area in particular but there were woodlands to wander round too. All flower beds were modern but with a natural feel, full of plants we all know and love. There were clear labels and descriptions everywhere, from the map and information at the ticket office at the gate to the plant labels and zone signage. Really enjoyed it. I'm sure you will too.

I was in the greenhouse in winter, I really liked it, there were many tropical plants. The garden is well taken care of. I was earlier in Kyiv, Ukraine, in a similar botanical garden, it is incredibly beautiful. Hello to Cambridge from Ukraine!

A beautiful place to visit. I could have spent the whole day here. I would have loved to have the time just to sit and read a book in a quiet corner. We only had a couple of hours which wasn't nearly enough to wander around and see everything. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The glass houses were a tropical oasis on an early spring day. There was an interesting mix of different types of plants in the greenhouses too. The pond was beautiful, we sat and watched the moorhens play and feed around the island for ages. It was the perfect place to sit and chill before the long drive home.

Amazing Botanical garden close to the Cambridge train station. The ticket value (6£) worth the visit. Well maintained and a lot of variety of plants and flowers. If you love bees thera are some bees house around the garden. Lovely ponds. Very relaxing and is nice way to have a break during your Cambridge visit.

The garden has a small Cafe with really yum food which were normally priced and a free toilet facility. The garden is really beautiful and well maintained. The greenhouse is amazing and a must visit. I'm coming back during the summer time to see the beautiful blooming flowers. This is a paid entry of £7.50 for adults which is completely worth it.

I visited the Botanical Garden for the first time and it didn't disappoint me. It was just perfect and awesome experience. When I visited It was a Sunny Saturday Afternoon (12 PM) and It took me around 3 to 4 hours to roam around the Garden. The Garden is having almost 8000 Varieties of Plants and Flowers and it's extremely Unique & Beautiful. The main attraction is Glass House & Lake. It contains some extremely unique collection of flowers and plants. Few of them are extremely colorful. For general adult their is an Entry Ticket of 7.2 Pounds however if you are university students then it's completely free. The Garden is also equipped with Toilet & Small cafe for quick bite. The only disappointment is NO PARKING Space for cars. So if you are driving you need to make your own arrangements. However if you are using train then it's very close to Cambridge Train Station it's around 5 min walk.

Absolute must-visit place in Cambridge city center. Spacious, tranquil and kid-friendly. There's no short of activities for kids, and adults will find many spots to sit and enjoy too. Parking near Trumpingtonnroad is quite convenient, or Cambridge Leisure centre parking is not too bad either.

I had a lovely time at the botanical gardens, there are some excellent trees and the cactus greenhouse was a real surprise. I wasn't expecting to see so many varieties of cactus in such a wonderful setting. The gardens are really well located and it was only a short walk before we were in the centre of town.

Really lovely gardens to visit. It's a good size area but not overly large and ticket prices are really good value (£7.20 per adult). The space itself is kept really clean and the layout is really well done. The map is easy to read and free at the entrance, lovely variety of plants throughout that are all really well maintained. Well, we had a lovely visit to the beautiful lights show at Cambridge University Botanic Gardens. A great effort has gone in to making this a truly spectacular evening and a feast for the eyes. I was told the sweet waffles were delicious: ever hopeful for some leftovers.

A wonderful space, a true oasis of beauty and tranquility in the heart of Cambridge! Now that I have bought an annual membership, I am even more keen to go as often as I can. I loved the festival of snowdrops in February. Magical!! Now it's the blossoming trees, the peonies and tulips that are the stars. I like the café too. The green house is always full of surprises. There are so many lovely corners where one can sit just to bask in the sun, hide in the the shade, or read a book. In the summer, there are often concerts and various activities. In short, a truly wonderful place for young and old.

Beautiful gardens. You can walk around the whole gardens in a loop. The greenhouse section is very cool, which shows different climates. This is the busiest place and the section where you might find school trips and people seated or taking photos. There is a café which offers food and drink. There are also toilets you can use there.

April 2018 My first visit to the gardens on a coach trip. What an incredible place & so close to the city centre not what you'd expect. It's a considerable area considering where it is. Just loved all the different trees. Spent about 2 wonderful hours here.

It was a rainy Sunday morning in February and yet we had an amazing time. We love to visit Botanic Gardens and this must be one of the best one can visit as it's well maintained and the variety of plants and trees is huge. The best time to visit is probably between April and June so we will definitely have to come back one day. Highly recommended!

A must visit whenever in Cambridge. One of the most beautiful places in the city. It's all things beautiful and serene. One of my most cherished memories.

We visited the Botanical Garden in Cambridge in November, and while many of the plants were not in bloom due to the season, it was still a delightful visit. The garden's layout is aesthetically pleasing, with its expansive grounds featuring numerous beautiful and hidden paths that invite exploration. There are also plenty of benches for relaxation, making it a perfect spot for leisure. It's definitely a place worth visiting, and I can only imagine how much more stunning it must be in the summer.

It is the best of Botanico gardens I’ve been to in the UK. I like how they carefully planted various species of plant from the same regions or from the same climate environment in one room, yet spread them out in a way to fulfill the entire space, but left a nice path between plants that fit (at least) two people to walk through. the temperature is also executed perfectly. You can feel like when you and his room it’s hotter or colder, which is so respectful because this is very beneficial for them. You can find many very famous, unique bizarre, and magnificent flowers and plants in this garden, and they will surprise you can all kinds of ways. The outdoor gardens, such as the rock garden are also quite well designed, however, some other gardens have the same plants as the one that’s in the door, so I suggest just spending enough time in a glass house so you don’t have to look at every single plant carefully that’s planted outdoors does have a beautiful lake, gorgeous sakura trees on the shore, adorable ducks and ducklings swimming in the water, and a cute fountain, and many wooden benches for resting (around the fountain). It would be best to come here when the weather is hot and less windy so you can sit on the bench to enjoy the view more peacefully. It is worth my time and I wish I spared more time, like a full two hours, so I can make sure that you have a more thorough tour of the entire garden. because it is one of the most beautiful spots in Cambridge.

Beautiful place to go for lovely walks and see different plants, flowers, trees and tropical plants in greenhouse. Even tho today was raining I had lovely time exploring the Cambridge Botanical Gardens, the flowers are already blooming and it’s so relaxing, I can imagine in sunny day it would be even more beautiful as there is so many places to sit down and enjoy the view. The ticket was £7.20 and it’s definitely worth a visit.

A must do! Fabulous day out to enjoy clear weather! Such a lush oasis in the city, walking distance from the train station. A great time of year to enjoy newly awakening buds among trees and shrubs and the expansive diversity among the greenhouse diplays. I splurged and enjoyed a tasty lunch at the cafe, where service was quick and the staff friendly. But you could in theory bring a blanket to picnic, there's so much green space, many tucked away along paths to feel like you have a private hideaway. Lots of families and students were around during my visist so it is seems to be incredibly family friendly. My best tip: don't take the map! The gardens are a perfect location to just get lost and enjoy.

This cemetery was very beautiful, I felt very emotional reading about how amazingly brave the soldiers were in the war. I felt it was insensitive to take pictures of the crosses themselves so i only took pictures of a few of the lovely decorations. The place is very well looked after as it should be. It's a perfect place to remember those who fought and lost their lives for their country

Beautiful cemetery and memorial to keep our fallen hero’s memory alive and their souls cherished. Easy bus ride from the train station. The chapel was beautiful. Grounds kept immaculate. The memorial wall was remarkable. I also really enjoyed the visitor center. Powerful. My only slight suggestion is not to power wash during visiting hours. It was very noisy and in front of the beautiful chapel and reflection ponds.

Visited England from the states and this was a must stop visit. A very well maintained cemetery and quiet place. It really makes you reflect on the sacrifice these men and women payed to protect our freedom. They will never be forgotten. May their souls rest in peace

A truly humbling place to visit. A place where over 3,800 American service personnel are buried, a further 5,127 names are listed on the wall of the missing. The entire site in immaculately maintained and is a fitting tribute to those buried, or commemorated, here.

Beautiful but touching place! So peaceful and the grounds are kept immaculately as expected. Parking is free and also coach parking. I visited when on the A14 travelling home from work. It it literally 5 minutes off the main road and didn’t see any city traffic. I would 100% recommend stopping by some day.

A tranquil but powerful place. The unique spectacle makes me feeling like floating in the sea of history. Among a lot of reflections come out after the visit, the stronger part comes from those heroes' families or the one who loves them. History always means one or several generations. But for most individuals, it seems no meaning at all. The only option is to be coerced.

This cemetery have a rich history to be told and purely a historical place to visit. Visitors charge at Cambridge American Cemetery is totally free. And worth the effort. Its a calm and quiet place. They organised the place very clean and tidy.

A very beautiful and peaceful place to visit. I came with my friend and we hopped off the tour bus to arrive. We had a good walk around and felt very humbled seeing all those men and women that died for our liberty. I saw JFK’s brother’s name on the wall of the missing, and said a prayer for him.

An extraordinary place to visit, so beautiful and yet so sad. So many young lives recorded by headstones and names carved into a wall. There is also an excellent museum on site telling the story of many of the people whose names are remembered here. Free parking and level access.

This is a must visit place. The only US cemetery in the UK, and it is stunning. The chapel is gorgeous, plus it displays the theatres of war and the amount of missions by air. Graves are immaculate, and the wall of the missing is rather long. Visitors centre is also worth a visit and really interesting.

Such a gorgeous cemetery for the fallen. Quite amazing how immaculate it’s kept. It’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area. The visitors centre is fantastic too, so many amazing stories.

Like all ABMC cemeteries, Cambridge was meticulously kept and honors our fallen heroes with grace and compassion. The visitor center was well done and very informative, even to someone with extensive knowledge of WWII. Many thanks to those who keep the grounds and share the stories of our soldiers.

Amazing place with highly scenic picturescapes, traditional river punting. If you are with kids, it is too much to walk. So please take local bus to reach Cambridge city center one way to be more comfortable.

An amazing small University Town built around the Cam River that is a must visit. The rich history and heritage filled in each of its buildings, streets and even walls will make one feel at awe! The city is cute and well kept making the visit enjoyable. Was here only for a short while, but I am sure to come back for a longer tour.

Great place to visit if in London, only 40 odd minutes by train. The architecture is so impressive, and it would be amazing to study here in one of the world's most renowned universities. I paid to visit King's College, and it was definitely worth it, just the chapel itself is so amazing

I recently visited Cambridge University and was blown away by the stunning architecture and rich history of the campus. The colleges, libraries, and chapels are all incredibly beautiful and well-maintained. The tour guides were knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information about the university's history and traditions. I particularly enjoyed visiting King's College Chapel, which is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. I also had the chance to attend a lecture at one of the colleges and was impressed by the quality of the teaching and research. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Cambridge University for anyone interested in history, architecture, or higher education. It's definitely a must-see destination.

Great campus. You should definitely do the punting tour. Tour fee adult 20 pound. Children 10 pound. With the tour you get information from students studying at Cambridge and contribute to them.

Amazing place full of history and important figures that have attended this university in my books of history of my lifetime. Founded in 1209 and granted a royal charter by Henry III in 1231, Cambridge is the world's third oldest surviving university and one of its most prestigious, currently ranked second best in the world and the best in Europe. Boasting attendance of 14 British prime ministers, as well as 47 Heads of states and many iconic figures such as including Francis Bacon, Lord Byron, Oliver Cromwell, Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking, John Maynard Keynes, John Milton, Vladimir Nabokov, Jawaharlal Nehru, Isaac Newton, Bertrand Russell, Manmohan Singh, Alan Turing, Ludwig Wittgenstein to name a few. Cambridge alumni and faculty have won 121 Nobel Prizes, the most of any university in the world. For all the above reasons well worth a visit.

One of the top university in the world and has produced many Nobel Laureate price winner. An old university which has multiple interesting, beautiful and amazing Gothic architecture. It was founded in 1209, and the second oldest university in the English speaking world and the worlds' fourth-oldest surviving universities. It have 31 semi autonomous constituent colleges. It certainly worth your visit just to simply to understand its rich and complicated history while enjoying the wonderful buildings.

It's a nice place, however, it's quite small and wasn't the easiest place to converse through. It had many options though whether it'd be shops to restaurants especially with the diverse amount of places you can go to. There are also really cute small local businesses that are visit worthy if it's your first time here. The prices range from not pricey at all to a little pricey but generally affordable so shopping here is a good idea.

This market is really worth a visit, plenty food places, nice flower and veggie/ fruit stands, also you can buy lovely scarfs and Cambridge University merchandise items and if you are into different music bands you can get nice t-shirts too. Been here at least now 4 times and every time I find something to buy or try starting from lovely coffee and cakes, or a nice shopping haul, bought some nice t-shirts and hoodies for me and my BF, and a lovely scarf for my mum.

Great place for getting souvenirs and food. The souvenirs here were a third the price of any actual shop, and the food was great. Lovely place to hangout and get food.

Cambridge Market Square is in front of the Guild Hall. You can find many fruits, vegetables, flowers, delicious breads and souvenirs! It still has many small shops serving international cuisines, such as Greek kebabs, German sausages, Thai food or pasta. Here is a good choice for you to buy international products from dry goods to fresh fruits.

Absolutely loved it here! Lots of different stalls with a variety of things; a few stalls with jewellery (got a couple of lovely rings), T-shirts, bags and other things. Lots of different food options too which was amazing! Went to the Venezuelan stall and got arepas and some halloumi fries from a halloumi stall. Both were amazing! Got coffee from one of the stalls too which was good. Only sad we didn’t have time to try everything to be honest! There was a big Jamaican stall with cake that all looked fantastic!

Good vegetables and fruits, cookies, pastries. Delicious wrep, burrito brazilian cook beans , Greek giros a pancake etc. There are benches around to sit and eat! Clean and cozy! Book s, some accessories but I most like Brazil and African food.

Good market to check out when you can. Little but pricey if you want to buy anything at the stalls. Easy place to meet up with people but that makes it a bit crowded. Overall a lovely place to be around but it's popularity can be a detriment.

A cute market in the heart of Cambridge. I visited it on a Thursday in August and it was very crowded, I practically had to push through to get anywhere. They had some delicious juices and smoothies but unfortunately no healthy food option - I wish they had a stall with a salad bar.

The black rice paella was the highlight for us during our visit to the market. The other exciting part of Cambridge market is that there are lots of options! Options of food, crafts, drinks, gelato’s etc!

Nice market, plenty of selection. Often many empty pitches but its good the council are putting information about how it used to look as it adds to the vibe of the place.

Find the stand that sells Venezuelan Cuisine, an elderly woman manages the stand and generously provides samples of her delectable food. The food we got was £10 only, she wanted to add rice but we felt like it was too much. One serving fed two people, we were left full and satisfied after this wholesome meal.

Great place to try Eastern European cuisine in Cambridge. There is a family owned place and they have a wide range of traditional dishes like borscht, pelmeni (dumplings), cabbage rolls, piroshki, placinta, borek, shashlik and more. Everything we tried tasted so good!

I fell in love with the streets and the weather today. The place was amazing. Not much of a crowd. Calm and quiet. It was fantastic. Had a snack and was just feeling the vibe.

Breathtaking chapel. Been local for all my life and have recently gone in. Well worth the wait. Beautiful structure. The grounds are quite something as well. Worth a visit in summer to see everything in flower.

As seen on the Christmas day service but with the live wow factor. We were treated to some organ music and a gentleman playing the harp which added to the atmosphere. The history of the chapel is fascinating and the staff were very helpful and approachable. One place I would love to go again, just to hear the choir.

One of the oldest colleges in Cambridge with a huge history! You can enter with a ticket to visit the place where it is wonderful. There you can read about its history and admire its magnificent architecture! You must first go if you want to see all the places to be informed if you allow entry all seasons and all hours in advance. There is a period when due to exams or other events you are not allowed to enter everywhere.

Went there last week and it was very beautiful inside, particularly the fan vaulted ceiling, the choir benches and the golden organ. The side rooms were full of history about the red and white roses (Tudor dynasty, the 3 kings who built the chapel: Henry VI, Henry VII, Henry VIII), as well as the construction techniques and architecture. I lived in Cambridge since 2012 and honestly this is the second best tourist destination in Cambridge. (the first is punting)

The words are too small to express the grandiose architecture exposed in front of my eyes. The history of it, the perfect garden near it, the small details, perfect of this building is extreme. I surely recommend it

I always say Yes to historical old buildings. It is so amazing how are built these old College Chapels etc. These old buildings are so luxurious, with lot of secrets. Maybe I don't see the reason why I need pay money to visit God house. But still was very exciting place.

Undoubtedly the most iconic building in Cambridge and one of Europe's finest late Perpendicular Gothic English buildings. Indeed, the Chapel features the world's largest fan vault. The foundation stone of King’s College Chapel was laid on 25th July 1446 by King Henry VI, but was not fully complete, including some of the finest stained glass windows in the world, until 1547 under King Henry VIII. Most days the chapel opens for sightseeing at 9:30am, with final entry 3:15pm; though make sure to check in advance because this can vary. It’s astonishing especially the inside. All the details on the vaulted ceiling and the coloured glasses is breathtaking. It’s has a very nice walk as well to the Backs which you can walk across the bridge and see the punts in the water with a whole view of the Kings college and the chapel. It is a million dollar view.

Very interesting beautiful building. Seemed strange to be in a Chapel which was full of youngsters creating quite a bit of noise. It was actually quite refreshing. Found the information leaflet really helpful. You can buy tickets from shop opposite King's College.

Absolutely breathtaking. Feels like a refreshing experience every time I walk into it. As well as the spectacular fan vault ceiling, and beautiful stained glass, some other nice things about it are definitely the organ, candlelit events/services, and, if you’re lucky, it’s heated flooring. Worth coming to visit!

Amazing masonry. Unbelievable that most of it has survived now than 500 years, that's what the patronage of Henry VIII meant I suppose. A couple of really interesting explanation areas, I would have perused a lot more thoroughly if alone. It seems rather expensive, but I'm glad we visited.

One cannot visit Cambridge without visiting King's College Chapel (a shop opposite sells tickets). There is a detailed exhibition of its history and a pamphlet guide. A stunning place!

Got very lucky today to have a chance to see this spectacular Chapel. King’s College Chapel is prime example of late Perpendicular Gothic English architecture. It’s the second biggest Chapel in the world and features the world's largest fan vault. Beautiful and stunning stained glass windows around whole Chapel 12 windows on each side. Window 1 - The Lamb of God and the Wedding at Cana, Window 2 - Christ and Jairus’ daughter and calling the fishermen, Window 3 - The transfiguration and Christ with the disciples, Window 4 - Lazarus and preparation for the Passover, Window 5 - The last supper and its Old Testament antecedent, manna in the desert, Window 6 - The Light of the World, Window 7 - The Bread of Life, Window 8 - The Lamb of God, Window 9 - Christ of Revelation, Window 10 - The Good Shepherd, Window 11 - Jesus appears to his disciples, Window 12 - The Ascension of Christ and Elijah etc. Peaceful and magnificent chapel where you can come to enjoy the beauty of the place itself and have time to think about life and merge with the wonderful atmosphere. If you get luck you can attend the chapel when they have their own choir singing.

The second biggest chapel in the world and incredibly beautiful as well. It's kept in perfect shape, the history behind it is really interesting and the tour guides will tell you everything there is to know about this masterpiece.

Fantastic place to visit. Amazing architecture to look at and wonder at the skills of the craftsmen that took so long to build it. 30 years for the stained glass windows to give you some idea. Then walk down to the Cam via the backs.

The cathedral boasts impressive and unusual architecture, especially notable in the design of its ceiling. The informational displays in the side areas are well-prepared and intriguing, offering insights into the cathedral's history and significance. Visitors will appreciate the availability of flyers in many different languages, catering to an international audience. Additionally, the surrounding garden area is beautifully maintained, providing a serene setting for a short stroll. The price is a bit high.

Attractive small park area, home to one of the most iconic views in Cambridge. The magnificent buildings of King's College dominate the scene looking across the river, while punts travel past in the foreground. At the time of my visit in early April, the wooded area was carpeted with blue and white flowers, lending it a natural feel that contrasts well with the surrounding architecture. The paths are well maintained and the area kept spotlessly clean. A short walk across Garret Hostel Bridge from the city center, The Backs is a must-see location for visitors to Cambridge. Paid parking is available by the side of Queen's Road for up to 4 hours.

A green oasis very idyllic except for what the birds have left, so look where you step when you walk on the path.

I was looking for a park to have a lovely scroll, the weather was not the best, but it was lovely anyway, nice views and plenty pathways to explore.

How disappointing. You can only see the best of Cambridge from The Backs and to do that you have to be in a punt as the banks are privately owned and are therefore inaccessible. As we're both nearing 80 we did not want to go in a punt!

Astonishing place with punting through the river across the worlds famous colleges. It's ultimately an excellence of science considering those big names.

It rivals Venice, which I’ve visited twice. No punters fell in the water today, unlike my last visit. Unlike Venice, I couldn’t get access to Bridge of Sighs, due to access closed off.

First time visit to the Backs. Amazing views across to the college's, particularly Kings College and the chapel. So much history right in front of you, and loads of photo opportunities! We were lucky enough to be invited to join some friends for a punt along the river, and what a great way to spend an evening! Well worth a visit to the area, and the parking on Queens Road is free after five, so you can catch the setting sun lighting up Kings College and the chapel.

The Corpus Clock The Corpus Clock is one of the most striking public monuments in Cambridge. It is a unique and strange looking sculptural clock mounted at street level at Corpus Christi College. Invented by engineer and entrepreneur Dr John Taylor, we worked with his team of engineers and sculptors to create a truly spectacular landmark design. Unveiled in 2008 by famous Cambridge Physicist Stephen Hawking, the Corpus Clock is a stunning mixture of ultra-modern design and traditional craftsmanship

The Corpus Clock is just a clock right? Wait until you observe it for a while and you notice something interesting is going on (it freaked out my daughter :-)). It's fine to visit at daytime although at night time, the design really comes alive.

This is a clock. It is uniquely designed indeed. Pay it a visit as you'll probably visit something very close to it (King's college or the eagle are around the corner) but don't expect anything more than a clock with a bug on top of it "eating time". Don't think you'll spend more than a minute here, but again - worth the visit

You do not need tickets to see this clock, but you may need to wait for the walking tour groups to move on. For me, it was worth the short wait. Sadly the sun meant that my photos have not done the clock justice.

It's an interesting attraction right behind King's College Chapel. It has an interesting history - it was invented, designed and given to to the College by Corpus Christi alumnus in 2008. It was constructed with local engineering company and the clock was opened by physicist Professor Stephen Hawking. It's beautifully crafted, sealed behind a glass window. It's free to visit, but bear in mind that it's on a very busy street corner, and there are always people there, so you might need to wait for taking a picture. Also, during sunny days, the glass reflects light, so you might not be able to take a clear picture of the clock. Also it does light up in the night so it's worth seeing.

Its no more visible to tourist as had a broken glass wall which is being fixed. We were literally roaming so long loooking for it and realised its under repair.

I came here due to Tik Tok to be honest. It’s a cool clock to look at but that’s about it for me. Maybe if you cared to research the history you would find it more interesting.

It has a really great panoramic view from Cambridge but I need to mention that the 123 steps from the staircase are a bit hideous. My wife for example struggled a bit due to the repetitive view of the stairs going up in circle. Also mind your head 😅

The Corpus Clock is one of the most striking public monuments in Cambridge. It is a unique and strange looking sculptural clock mounted at street level at Corpus Christi College. As it's at street level and on a busy junction, taking photos is not very easy with people walking across and there's always a gathering of people there who come to see it. Highly recommend visiting while on tour in Cambridge.

This is a true gem for tourists. While daytime visits can be quite hectic with the constant flurry of picture-taking around you, I highly recommend experiencing it at night. The serene atmosphere allows you to appreciate its beauty without the pressure of crowds. The stunning display of lights further accentuates the artistry of this masterpiece.

Just an amazing intricate design and marvelous creation of this machine. I personally think it's a masterpiece of an art presented in a Clock, with a robotic insect dialing the clock in one direction.

A fascinating masterpiece worth seeing when visiting Cambridge. The Corpus Clock is just one of a kind and if you spend more time seeing it is quite unique. And it’s worths seeing it in day time and night time.

With all the beauty around town, I find this clock is just something done for tourists. Its location is terrible as the road is not close to traffic. Apologies, but I am able to understand its beauty.

We enjoyed walking through the old, beautiful interiors of the college, across the Bridge of Sighs and through the gardens. There is a good view of the bridge from inside the college. Admission is free if you go with a member of Cambridge University. The Chapel is mostly closed on the weekends.

St John's College is one of Cambridge University's largest, it has beautiful architecture and beautiful Chappel!

It is quite expensive at 12.00 a head, but it is definitely worth seeing if visiting Cambridge.

Home to the tallest viewpoint in Cambridge, John’s College has an excellent buttery (dining hall) and an O.K bar. The arches in the back is beautiful and so is the field. Right by River Cam where all the punters are. Definitely a must-see college while you’re at Cambridge

It's my 1st favorite college in Cambridge. The Chapel is mind-blowingly beautiful and the design is heavenly (for the Neuroscientists: it will activate your TPG!). Can't compare it to King's College, both of them are amazing in their own way. For the (Not Cambridge Students), pay the enterance fee, help University Organization, and enjoy the Beauty, Art, filled with Scientific Feelings!

I'm a bit biased as I have been connected to the college for years. It is a beautiful place and it has now been made accessible for disabled visitors. There is so much interesting history too. The heart beat of the college are the students though and they are pretty amazing.

It’s extravagant I might say. Cambridge and Oxford may be similar but the architectural building in the heart of Cambridge is more intriguing than Oxford. You can easily walk from St. John’s College to another one. And you can access the market just in a short walk. I had a nice day here twice with a friend, it is also free for you who attend the religious ceremony. Otherwise you have to pay admission ticket.

A really great college that hosts a fabulous May Ball for the end of academic year festivities. Even in the rain, this party went over and above what was expected and was such a lot of fun. The fireworks were incredible, there was a giant load of punts in the river waiting to catch them. The activities were great - future telling, star sign reading, all very interesting, a doughnut wall, punts filled with drinks, so much food (some fantastic steak), a table stacked with fruit! It had everything. The college itself is beautiful as well, architectural paradise for anyone that likes that sort of thing.

My wife and I, along with some local friends attended a group of sessions focusing on the differences between cheap, moderate and more expensive wines. Served semi-blind, we had to guess which was which. Not always easy! Mark's presentation style was very relaxed yet informative and well-supported with slides and videos. He managed to provide interest to those with no wine tasting experience up to those who already have a lot of wine knowledge. Everyone seemed to have a really good time, and interactions between the attendees added extra enjoyment. We'll be back. Highly recommended!

We were bought an ‘Introduction to Wine by Grape’, a three-part evening class at Cambridgeshire Wine School for my husband’s birthday. It was such an enjoyable experience. It certainly got us through the doldrums of the January blues, the Ukraine War, the NHS in crisis and economic gloom! I hope we are not shallow people! We looked forward to our Tuesday night sessions. We were introduced to a wide variety of wines and educated about the grapes by our host, Mark. He managed to draw even the shyest of us out of our shells with his well-placed questions. He was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and charming. The group was small and informal. By the end of the three weeks, we all felt like good friends. I would highly recommend this course for both beginners to wine tasting and those who have some knowledge of wines already.

You don't just taste wine. You learn so much more than names of the wines. It's a history lesson, it's a geography lesson, it's a lesson on how to focus your attention to what you smell and taste. Mark's step-by-step guidance during the taster sessions are invaluable.

My friend and l had a great time at the Venetian Bar, tasting and learning about Champagne, Prosecco and Cava. The talk was very entertaining and Mark has a wealth of knowledge and anecdotes to impart. I've done many wine tasting around the world but this season put so much into context and made sense. Tastes, locations and why matching cheese or other foods improves the moment. We even tried a conflicting combination, it tasted terrible. Avoid brie cheese!

I thoroughly enjoyed the course, Mark who conducted it is extremely knowledgeable, but makes what seems to be quite a deep subject very easy to understand and a lot of fun with his easygoing nature and humour, he has given me a better understanding of the wine I drink and the work and expertise that goes into making it. I would most definitely take part in another ,course conducted by Mark, without any hesitation. A brilliant and fun day, highly recommended.

Had an amazing evening of wine and cheese tasting at the 50/60 Lounge in Cambridge, Mark is a very experienced and knowledgeable taster and I have learnt so much not only about wine and food pairings, but also about how these are influenced by the vinification process and geographical origin of the grapes. All the information was delivered in a precise and technical language while also keeping a down-to-earth tone that never made a minute of the class feel boring! I highly recommend Cambridgeshire Wine School to everyone interested in understanding more what goes behind an excellent cheese and wine pairing.

The 8 week introductory wine tasting course is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a great way to learn the basics of wine tasting and appreciation presented in a very friendly, social atmosphere by our extremely knowledgeable host.

I ve always shunned cheese and wine events because if the truth be told, I don’t like wine much (okay, it’s effect is acceptable enough). I have fairly recently developed a passion for cheeses so I thought this would be worth a go for at least 50% of the sustenance on offer. Mark made this event very pleasant indeed. The education was interesting and fun. Infotainment at its mouth swirling best. The dialogue accompanying the chewing and the sipping and flavour mingling was excellent. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Better than I expected even if I repeatedly found that the cheese simply rendered the wine less unpleasant!! Would I go again? Yes! With more cheese and crackers to accompany the wine!

Would definitely recommend these events. We went to the Italian wine tasting day. The setting in the Cambridge college and lunch was fantastic. Mark was a great host and so knowledgeable and passionate, the information was pitched exactly right, we all learnt something and had a great experience at the same time.

Loved our three week course on blind tasting the same style of wine priced across three different price ranges. It was very illuminating to say the least. Mark made it fun and informative at the same time, using videos and background information to make the subject appealing and memorable.

We attended the Italy one day course at Madingley Hall and had to leave a review to say how brilliant the day was! Mark’s style is perfect…informative, easily understandable and very knowledgeable. Our wine tasting day was absolutely brilliant. Mark is an excellent teacher. He is down to earth and entertaining and there was no pressure to have any prior knowledge. The wines were great, and together with a lovely lunch, it made for a very enjoyable day. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We attended the Taste of Italy Saturday course at Madingly Hall and had such a great day. As well as tasting 13 different wines we learnt an enormous amount about the Italian wine industry and various classifications which was fascinating. During the tasting Mark always encouraged us to form and share our own opinions on the smell and taste before sharing his, which I think is the best way. Mark was very approachable and only too happy to answer any question we put to him, and I am certainly thinking about doing another class in the future. The venue itself is also great. It’s a beautiful place and there is plenty of history to investigate should you wish to. Overall, a great experience.

I did a Wine Tasting course with a blind taste test of different Australian Wines. It was a very informative course and an overall wonderful time! I left with new information and it was interesting to discuss the wines.

I bought tickets for a days wine tasting for my husbands birthday and it was certainly a treat, and we learned quite a lot too. This is an independent tasting so no particular wine to promote, and Mark has done a good job researching his wines and gives details of cost and where it can be bought from which is really useful.

A fascinating place. Loads to see, read, and play with. There are many old working computers from the 1970s onwards that you can play with. Those of a certain age will find this highly nostalgic. But there is plenty to interest younger people.

At first you may ask yourself the question why you wanted to visit The Centre of Computing History as the location is at an industrial estate just outside the city and the area doesn't look that great. This changes as soon as you enter and you realise you can completely nerd out on all the old computers and consoles from the past forty years. The staff is super helpful sharing so much information. It's a great way reliving the old times as most computers are working and you can use them. There are also a couple of arcade machines, you can finally show your child what a floppy disk, a cassette and a CDROM were and there is even an enormous display of a working computer that shows the inner works. At the same time it also describes part of the computing history in Britain and Cambridge. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Cambridge.

This is an amazing place, full of treasure. You can find Apple II, BBC Micro, Sinclare, Tatung and Commodore, and lots of game console like Nintendo Wii, Playstation and XBox from year dot to Wii Sport. Also IBM chess computer and AI, mobile phones from early years, as well as "big computers" like DEC and IBM 370. It is good for children to learn things, and develop love for computing. And it's also good for adults to walk down the memory lane. Came here with my wife and son and we all love it. There's Pacman, Space inviders, Diggers, Kungfu, Atari too.

A great day out enjoyed by myself and my teenage sons. Lots of nostalgia, some computers I'd never seen before, and arcade machines. The games kept the kids entertained, and the exhibits were interesting. I do agree with some reviewers that more could have been made of the development of computing throughout history, perhaps a guided tour or something like it explaining computers past and present and how they influenced the generations.

Populated by dads of a certain age and their kids. Not a criticism. If this place is for you, it's really for you. Loads of nostalgia for old kit and games galore. I can't wait to come back.

Travelled to Cambridge as my team was due to play them. I came across this lovely museum on Google maps. Fell in love with it as I'm a retro geek and a proud one too. So many games and consoles to play on. Loved going back to the time at school when most students played mind maze. Lovely staff, lovely layout of the museum to reflect what times were like growing up. Well done to all the staff that put the museum together. Will return. The price is reasonable and worth every penny.

My boyfriend insisted on going here whilst we were in Cambridge and I grumbled about it all the way from York… but HE had to drag ME out at closing time!! This place is brill! Really interesting. Surprisingly interesting. And very nostalgic too. Give it a go! 👏🏻

A great place to visit for the computer enthusiast and families alike. A great selection of computers, games consoles and even classic business computers. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and there's lots of interactive exhibits, computers and consoles to play with. Everything is COVID safe with machines cleaned before each session and hand sanitiser machines are dotted around the exhibition. Some rare prototypes such as the ZX Spectrum are also on display. It was well worth the 5 hour drive from Devon. :-)

A great place to visit with friends or family. They have a wide range of computers and technology from the past, nearly all of which still work! From PCs, to games consoles to mobile phones, the collection is maintained very well and it is highly interactive and informative.

WOW!!!! One of the best places of Cambridge! Obviously I’m biases as an IT professional. A complete working collection of personal computers and game consoles. Going through Mainframes, punched card machines, magnetic tapes, floppy discs and so on!!!! Friendly and helpful staff!!!

Tens of historical video games you can play! If you born in 70s and grew up with computer games, I bet you’ll love this place! (My 9-year-old kid wanted to visit again)

Turned up to Cambridge Museum of Technology instead of this one by mistake - but found it in the end! Had a really nice time here with my girlfriend and we'll definitely be back. 😊 I think the retro games they have setup to play were the highlight, my girlfriend loved playing the original Mario and Crash Bandicoot, while I had a go on Simpsons Hit and Run! 🚔 It would be good if there was a label with the name of the game that's playing, as it just said the console name, at least that's all I saw - also I wanted to use some of the computers but couldn't figure out the controls, so maybe having a sign with how to navigate the menus would be helpful. It's nice that they have gender neutral toilets and the mirror is an old Mac monitor 🖥️ Staff seemed nice and friendly and they had a cute gift shop + small café area with snacks 💜

Driving through the run down industrial estate and seeing this place from the outside you would be forgiven for feeling disappointed and have low expectations of what was inside - BUT - resist the temptation to turnaround and leave. It's like a tardis and has a truely outstanding collection of home pc's and gaming consoles from the beginning of time to 'fairly' recent-ish. The majority of which are on for you to use and play the original iconic games they were best known for. You must spend time using and exploring to enjoy and get value - once you do then you will be happy. There are also lots more themed areas with rare historical tech. Don't rush around it.

Visited Cambridge from London for a day and really enjoyed this place. It is a particularly niche idea but great if you are interested in historic computing and the most well-maintained archive of British technology such as Sinclair, Acorn, and Amstrad - two of which were from Cambridge. As a younger software developer I could have spent hours here just messing around with BASIC which isn’t something I’ve used, and the differences between that and modern programming are fascinating. Getting from London to Cambridge by public transport is very quick and easy but getting to this museum, which is on an industrial estate, was less easy and required a 35 minute walk crossing some very busy roads, so it might be difficult if you can’t drive but still worth it.

I’d give this place 10 stars, if I could. Fabulous place to browse through the history of computing, with worldwide coverage, but an emphasis on UK designed products. For some reason there’s a full sized LEGO relics of Doom Guy too…

I went there with my son, who loves modern computer games. By the time we left he also had a love of retro gaming. We both had a great time. There are loads of interesting computers and most of the home computer and consoles are on and you can play games. The cafe is clean and allows you to bring your own food and there is no pressure to buy overpriced food. There is a food shop but the prices are reasonable. Entry was £20 for my son and myself but I think that, given how long we stayed, it was well worth it. My son says it was the best museum he has visited so that has to be good.

I visited with my three kids, two teens and a primary age one, all big fans of gaming. A fantastic museum tucked away on an industrial estate, but worth the half hour walk from the station. The brilliant aspect was that my children could explore all the computers and consoles while I could read all the fabulous info about the history of computing. The story about how Lyons tea shops developed Leo 1 was really interesting. I also enjoyed playing Pong and Space Invaders which was great fun. I recommend this place to any nostalgic adults interested in computers and gaming and any children, of course. Really worth the visit and we easily spent 1.5hrs there but could have spent more.

A fantastic hidden gem. Highly recommend for anyone of any age, a great afternoon activity after walking around the city centre all day. There were so many interactive features! The playable game consoles were such a highlight. I would say allow between an hour and a half to two hours to get the full experience, but really you could spend so much more time... Students get in for £10, which I think is very reasonable.

It’s one of the most magnificent and historical college’s in Cambridge, I really loved the architecture and how much space you have around this college, it is very peaceful to walk around and see the stunning buildings and other premises.

One of the more well-known colleges in Cambridge with a large college ground near the city centre. Look out for the famed Newton's apple tree outside the college too!

The college is one of the most renowned college in University of Cambridge. It is also one of the biggest, popular and best performing college in the university.

If you walk through the grounds as the sun is setting you'll be rewarded with some amazing views.

The entrance from the river side is very pretty. Most of the time the college does not allow non members to go inside.

A very inspiring college with the most famous alumni: Newton, Bohr, Baggage, Maxwell, Ramanujan. We were there on Sunday and enjoyed the simple but delicious brunch. Not very crowded. Admission is free for visitors (max 2 people) accompanied by a college member.

Phenomenal experience playing on the Metzler organ and great input from the Interim Music Director - Michael Waldron. I absolutely loved the evensong, it was of such a high yet enjoyable and humble standard - the choral and organ music. Just absolutely amazing and I recommend this to anyone who has the opportunity to go.

Best tour we had with an ex army guy full of witty jokes and cool stories. All of the staff there especially the porters were top notch. The history as well as the atmosphere there is unbelievable.

Excellent institution in education, science and technology and the school that has the most Nobel prize. Isaac Newton is one of the most notable students at this college, and one of the most beautiful colleges in Cambridge!

This is a peaceful and serene place, you have to visit it once if you are in the UK. The students privileged enough to make it here are indeed extremely lucky.

Good place to chill out , peaceful quiet and brilliant place. Highly recommended to sit along Cam Riverside.

A detailed insight into polar exploration and the life of Scott. Incredibly friendly staff and very informative. Spend about 30 minutes here. Absolutely free but donation recommended.

Loved it. Got to hold a narwhal tusk as a special tour guest. Highly recommend this place. The library upstairs is amazing

Recommend for children in y1&2 that are likely to do Antarctica for Topic. My daughter loved her time here. Our only wish is that the museum was bigger and open on Mondays. Free entry. Bike parking space, 1 toilet, an activity for children to do however we didn't see it till we were leaving. I think staff could be more engaging with visitors.

really good exhibits that told very interesting stories, lovely layout and beautiful decorated ceilings. Free entry so relies on donations and definitely worth a visit while you’re in Cambridge.

Beautiful bridge. Worth to ave a look If u walking around this area. Full of history dating back to 1749. The beauty of this bridge is that it is curved or arched and yet it has been made entirely with straight planks of wood. I love the area around coz it’s situated on River Cam.

Attractive small bridge constructed of straight timber beams, held together with no fixings by the action of gravity. The design is impressive for this reason and the it has a storied history making it something of a local icon. Good view from the neighbouring Silver Street Bridge, or see it up close from a punt on the river.

Interesting bridge, the curves are an illusion as the bridge is made from straight pieces of wood. With some imagination & river reflections the arch continues to a circle. It connects Mathematics court at Selwyn College, best view is by punt on the river, but pretty good from the road bridge.

Went on a rainy day so it was the most pleasant however a cool bridge to look at. I was lucky enough to walk through the bridge.
