Better than I remember from 1983 and better than expected up the tower. A bit pricey at €20 but they have you over a barrel if you want to do it. Great staff and supervision. Great views on a good day and interesting seeing the bells at the top of the tower. Hard to believe it's nearly 1000 years old

Worth seeing but not what I expected which really was my fault. First arriving and parking: the parking lots are located about 1.5 kilometers away from the square taking about 20 minutes walk. It was HOT when we were there. We should have considered more heat precautions. Shops: so many shops peddling tourists goods of all shapes and sizes. Purses, shirts, pins, etcetera. Very few are worth while and had I known there was a proper gift shop I would have waited for it. It's located inside near the tower. Site: make sure to walk around and take in the structures from all the given angles. Tickets for the climb to the top of tower are worth it. There is also a small fountain on the corner inside where you can get some refreshing water from a small phallic out cropping. Also worth seeing.

The climb is not too arduous and you can pause along the way. You get some great views of the area, although Pisa is not as pretty as other towns.

I have to say... I was more impressed with the experience here than I was anticipating. We visited as part of a tour through a cruise and figured we would be here and gone quickly. The grounds were gorgeous and the tower was beautiful. It was a very busy day but people were polite and courteous to others trying to get their fun shots with the tower. Very cool experience!

Beautiful tower. We couldn't make it on top, there were no available time slots for it, so definitely recommending to buy tickets in advance online. But from outside it looks amazing as well. It's funny to observe people doing crazy poses while making pictures 😅👍🏼 but we all did it, right? 😅

Pisa itself as a city is very beautiful and gives a very good vibe. It is filled with young people as it is a student city. Piazza del Duomo is great to stay and to visit everything it has as it is included in one ticket that is worth the price (at the time i bought it for 10 euros not including leaning tower climb) and this ticked is valid for one year. Leaning tower is cherry on top. To be honest it is greater when you see it live than what photos show. To me this city has been out of expectations, very beautiful.

We visited as part of a cruise we were doing, and our cruise docked late so we ended up walking most of the way. It was well worth it though. We were able to meet up with our tour group and walk up to the top of the tower. Some of the steps up the tower have been worn down over the years so they can be a slippery, so be careful. The grounds that the tower sits on is well kept and there are various shops and restaurants in the area as well. We didn’t have any kids with us, but I would imagine small kids would have a hard time climbing all the stairs.

What an amazing site!!!! First, I saw it very quickly when I was in the train. Then when I went out from the train and was heading to the site, I saw the top of the tower! What a feeling!! Just amazing! It’s among the most impressive things I ever seen in my life! All people go there to visit the tower but you should absolutely visit the whole site: the cathedral, the museum etc… because each one of them is a must see site. I loved this place and would definitely come back during my next visit to Tuscany.

Very touristy but still very pretty. Worth a view if you're in Pisa. There are still plenty of places to get a photo and the other buildings are also very pretty. All round good visit. Didn't go inside but there's something about free entry to the cathedral, couldn't work it out.

It's a beautiful spot to see and take pictures. Located in the middle of the town, the route leads you through romantic and picturesque alleys and street. It's definitely worth a stop-over break if you pass nearby. I enjoyed seeing the tower and eating lovely food, but I wouldn't arrive here as my only holiday destination place. It's also amazingly crowded in the summer season. Heat was unbelievable 🔥, remember to take plenty of water 💧 Other places you could have seen before for free are at the charge in 2023- museum or Gardens

Fantastic historical monument! The complex includes Tower, Piazza del Duomo and Cathedral di Pisa. There was a parking close to complex with good price, although when leaving, there was issue with gate and not charged :)) There is a bazar in front and inside. To go inside the tower, need to have a ticket for 20 euro which usually comes with 1-hour wait. Ticket for the rest of the facility, will come with 7 bucks more, all for 27. I would suggest get the ticket for whole, and once you see the Piazza and cathedral, it will be your turn to get into the leaning tower. I liked to small Halal restaurant in front of the area. Overall, it will be a great experience to spend 2 – 3 hours over there.

What an amazing building to see when coming to Italy. It’s amazing how it’s leaning and hasn’t moved a lot during these past centuries. I really enjoyed being here and I would definitely recommend you to come. One thing to note is that when doing your famous leaning tower pose, there will be a lot of people walking in front of you. If you get the chance then you must go to an amazing building. It's quite mesmerizing as you look at it. It's not too busy but not too sure how busy it will be in the summer. We went over Easter break. One for the bucket list ticked off.

Absolutely amazing place. Love seeing the whole area in its historical beauty. The tower itself is smaller than I imagined but just fantastic. 294 steps to the top and you can walk around most of the upper level. The views make it well worth a visit. You can purchase a ticket for all buildings at 27 euros each or just the tower at 20 euros pp. There is a free locker room for you to put all bags into as you can't take any bags up the tower. There is a free car park about 10 mins walk away or a bus from same car park. The walk is lovely and not bad at all and all sign posted very well.

I recommend getting there early in the morning, it's really peaceful and there aren't many people around. Buying tickets in advance is also recommended, you will then have to leave your stuff at the wardrobe and then line up to enter. The entrance is divided in groups, your group will have a precise hour at which you will enter, so you have to come at least 15 minutes before. Green pass is needed to access the tower. The steps are a bit worn-out, so you should wear comfortable shoes. The view is amazing, you can really see all the city from up there, you might feel a bit of seasickness because of the inclination

Amazing climbing the steps of the leaning tower. When climbing the steps, you clearly feel a tilt. The climb is quite long. Please be careful when you go up the main stairs there is another smaller set. Which leads to the top. Many people don't notice the passage and it's worth it . The view from the top is simply breathtaking. An absolute must climb if anyone visits Pisa.

We stopped here on our way to Rome. And it's exactly that: a nice and quick stop on your way to another destination. We spent an hour here to walk around and take some pictures. It's a beautiful and funny sight to see There is a big amount of people, but still very doable to take pictures.

Exactly what you expect it to be from what all you've read or seen about it. Did not enter as we hadn't booked tickets in advance but still pretty good from the outside. We had visited in June and it was super hot though so make sure to have plenty of water and something to protect you from the Sun.

This totally met my expectations! A really fascinating and beautiful piece of architecture. I’d recommend buying tickets in advance to climb up although some tickets were available on the day I went (mid October and not high season). The Leaning Tower looks really pristine from the outside and is well looked after. Approx 250 steps to the top and spectacular views. Not too crowded as they have bookings for 15 min slots - it’s well managed. We went in November but I can imagine it being super hot in the summer against the marble.

We visited the tower on a rainy day. The tower still stands tall. It is amazing. The place is crowded. It is a must see and worth all the effort traveling from Rome to see the tower. The town is small, nothing much to see beside the tower itself. Highly recommend to buy the ticket in advance or come as early as possible. The line gets very long in the afternoon.

We have always wanted to visit here and it was even more incredible than we could have imagined! The tower really is a building marvel and is so cool that you can climb up to the top by staircase and see from up there. Buy tickets prior to not miss out and go early in the morning to avoid all the tour buses arriving around 9am. We got there at 8am and it was quiet but by 10am when we left, the parking had a 30+ car queue to get in. Great hour to explore on our roadtrip 🙌

This is a breathtaking place that I'd always wanted to visit and it did not disappoint. It was very disconcerting walking up the tower and falling over as it lent to one side of course. Even when you come out you're a bit disconcerted because you can't stand up straight! The cathedral and the baptistery were both wonderful as well. We had beautiful weather and to crown off a perfect day, the museum, full of statues and ancient relics, was a site to behold. There are wonderful cheap cafés nearby for excellent refreshments as well. My one piece of advice would be to buy a ticket for all the sites before getting there.

We’ve all seen this place on the TV, in the magazines and on the internet but to see it in real life is pretty special. For those who want photos with nobody in the background, get there early. The church, crypts, and museum are all worth the time it takes to visit them. Try to visit the baptistry on the hour or half hour mark when a security guard will amaze you with the acoustics by harmonizing with his echo. Truly magical display of sound.

Yes, it's very tilted. Different when you see it on the spot. I don't recommend buying tickets in advance because there are specifics that will be explained on the spot much better and the flow of people is quite smooth. Now, april 2024, the ticket is 20€ tower, 7€ all else, 27€ combined (recommended). Have at least 2 hours spare time, 4 if you're slow. You need to leave your bag in storage so rather go without any kind of bags. You must also collect them immediately after. Normal rules apply for the other spaces - you must be covered to enter. You can get here easily from Bologna and Florence by bus. Have someone with you to make the "holding" picture. There is a toilet in the museum (southern building). Ticket office is one, you can't buy tickets on the line for the locations. What shocked me most is - the tower is empty. Well, that's about it... Don't forget to have fun.

Beautiful if you can catch it in the early morning. If you just want to see the outside, that is the perfect time to go. There's no one there and you can see the tourist shops opening up their tents.

Very nice plaza. First time here and it was absolutely amazing experience. Most of this place it was built between 12 and 16 century, and how still standing, they way still looks its awesome. The whole plaza is something else you need to experience. The Cathedral sculpture inside and out are amazing, incredible designs in every angle. The tower very nice, also the rest of the buildings in this plaza are very good and deserves more than five stars.

A pretty cool place to visit. The interior of the cathedral is absolutely incredible! We spent hours in there admiring the windows, painting and sculptures. The Baptistery is also interesting. I could not go inside the Tower as I can’t climb stairs, but it was wonderful to see it with my own eyes.

While wandering around Italy, my family and I also visited the Square of Miracles, officially known as the Cathedral Square, twice. The square is known as the center of European medieval art and is one of the most beautiful architectural spaces in Europe and the world.

The share of miracles was interesting, I was there for Easter weekend and the entrance to the church was free. Plenty of police presence but lots of tent vendors and people chasing you trying to sell something. Though it didn’t feel sure pressured, it was just annoying. Overall great place to visit and history of the place is interesting.

Great historical place. The tower looks spectacular and it’s history is amazing. Lots of market stalls and shops. Plus a variety of restaurants. As it is a quite touristy place you also expect higher prices. Still, some places provide very good ratio on price and quality. Parking facilities very close and easy to get to.

Highly recommend seeing everything in the piazza. If you want good food, walk to the other side of the river. Buy tickets online in advance. No bags are allowed inside the tower.

It's beautiful and magnificent. There are many pictures on the walls, stained glass windows an a nice mosaic in the middle. You can visit it free, but you still need a ticket from the ticket office. There will be pointed the time of your visit. And don't forget about right clothes for cathedral

Wow, I am blown away by this Cathedral and the surrounding complex. If the Tower never existed this Cathedral would be just as flocked too and visited by tourists. The design and effort is a breathtaking achievement. I was taken away on entry, you can't help but look up. The huge columns and gold ceiling are incredible. It's is filled with beautiful Baroque paintings and sculpture and could be a museum of its own. It is well worth the price. I went in March and the queues were negligible.

A beautiful church, the tower cost €20 To climb up, but the church is for free. You only need to go to the ticket office to get a free ticket, and then you may go in. A lot of Medici signs in there.

Beautiful! Not too crowded, really enjoyed our time here :) the cathedral was beautiful and well worth the price. We didn't buy the all-encompassing ticket, we just bought the ticket to the Museum (7€ each), and each ticket would come with a complimentary visit to the cathedral. We felt like that was money well spent. The Museum also had a small cafe we ate at and I got the best pancakes 😍 The ticket to climb the Tower was 20€, and my bf had twisted his ankle climbing the Campanile in Florence the other day, so we decided not to go up it.

Is a beautiful place where you can admire again italian architecture. The cathedral is very tall and has beautiful pictures on the wall and ceiling. Is free to visit but you need to get a ticket.

While I didn't expect something extraordinary I found this ceiling in awe. The building is being reconstructed and hopefully it will become even better if they allow people to go up the stories. Seems to be 5 levels total. There is also a prayer section for believers. As part of a 7 euro ticket - it is very much worth it.

Great place, inside and outside. You have to see the pulpit made by Giovanni Pisano 700 years ago. How much work the artist had to put into it! It looks beautiful. Impressive paintings on the walls. Some of the original sculptures, religious books etc from the cathedral you can also see in the museum next to the tower.

I loved it ,you’ll need to buy the tickets in advance to avoid getting on long lines, I also recommend buying tickets to take the elevator up to the terrace if you plan to go up…we didn’t and ended up going up the stairs. If you like history is the place to be.

Stunning architecture & building! Visited few cathedral and each have their rich history and architectures. It’s amazing to learn how rich the history lies in the building! It really takes decades…Seeing is believing, nothing beats seeing the real thing compared to the photos you find in the history text book! We got there in the evening, it opens longer during spring/summer.

Gorgeous place. Entrance is free but you need to get free ticket from ticket office in prior. I saw a lot of tourists not going in cos they were lazy to get free ticket. Do not be lazy go and get it you wont regret. With free ticket you will be able to go in and usually there are no queues.

We got tickets on the day (the only option, I believe?) And our time was approx 1hr from when we got them. There is a nice grass area to sit in or you can go around elsewhere and explore. The cathedral is beautiful with beautiful art and sculptures. Explanation signs are in both Italian and English which was great for us. Id recommend getting your ticket first then exploring the grounds, if you do it this way there will be less waiting.

Busy place with charging parking garage around. Time management to visit this place is a big deal since there is a line to get in and probably you will have a ticket to get inside the leaning tower.

The Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta or Duomo di Pisa, is a magnificent Roman Catholic cathedral located in the Piazza dei Miracoli or Square of Miraclesand is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Though free to get in, it is by ticket only as its a timed entrance.These need to collected in the Ticket Office nearby. The cathedral is full of paintings, fresqoes, sculptures and decorations. Well worth the queue to visit.

My family and I visited the famous leaning tower and the cathedral twice while wandering around Italy. We were lucky with the weather. The leaning tower is the bell tower of the northern part of the old part of the city. The Cathedral of Pisa is one of the oldest buildings in the city. It is very nicely made, as is the tower that stands next to it. There is no entrance fee for the cathedral.

A beautiful and magnificent duomo! The facade is elaborate and decorated with statues. The moment we walked into the cathedral, we were stunned by the grandiosity and the ornate decorations. We spent about 30 minutes and took many pictures. A very impressive duomo indeed!

It’s a beautiful cathedral, full of beautiful paintings and etc. when I was there, it was a music playing. Great atmosphere. Pisa Cathedral is one of the most impressive churches in Tuscany, Italy. A masterpiece of Pisan Romanesque architecture chiefly famous for its bell tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It says the Construction began in 1063 and was completed in 1092. However, The cathedral was heavily damaged by a fire in 1595. The heavy bronze doors of the façade were newly designed and completed in 1602. The 27 paintings that cover the galleries behind the main altar, depict Stories of the Old Testament and Stories of the Life of Christ.

The cathedral itself is quite impressive. I would say going inside is more impressive than the leaning tower. Entering the cathedral is free as well and it’s good to take advantage of that.

You need to buy tickets not at the door but aromas the grass in a building. Doing it ahead of time is easier for sure. But on not crowded days it’s not too bad to do it on the spot

Wow, you always see picks of the Tower, but I had no idea the rest of the buildings in the area were so gorgerous. The door facing the Cathedral is exquisite. Inside the builders have created an incredible space. It's full of interesting historical details, if the Tower never existed the Cathedral complex would be just as busy with tourists.

Know that you must buy tickets to enter. Once inside it is huge and with stunning design and architecture. Get up to the balcony inside as well for a better view of the main area and altar!

It's worth the price of admission for the views alone. Up in the top, looking towards the Cathedral and Leaning Tower, was my favorite spot in Pisa. It wasn't crowded - the ticketing helps keep it manageable - and you have a perfect view over the piazza.

It is more beautiful from outside than inside, but it is worth it to buy ticket to go inside for the hourly demo of building acoustics and the view of the cathedral from the top floor.

A beautiful round building right in front of the duomo. It seems to be larger than the one in Florence. It also offers an upper gallery for people to walk around.

Tickets required. 7 for building only or 10 for the hole site minus the tower. Baptistery looked cool outside but undergoing renovations inside really limited what you could see as even the entire dome was covered when we went.

The Battistero costs $7 or $10 if purchased as a combination ticket which includes the Baptistery, Camposanto, Museo dell'opera and the Sinopie Museum or you can purchase a combination ticket with the leaning tower of Pisa which costs $27 which includes the tower, Baptistery, Camposanto, Museo dell'opera and the Sinopie Museum. It is cheaper than purchasing them all separately. You need a ticket to enter the Battistero and it is easier to purchase in advance. When booking the ticket for the leaning tower of Pisa we were not informed that there was a religious ceremony taking place that day. We were restricted from entering the Battistero for up to 2 hours due to this ceremony. Just be aware if you are limited on time you may not be able to see the building. In the building they demonstrate the sound by someone singing. The inside of the building is beautiful but the outside is just as beautiful. There is a grass area outside were you can sit and admire the building.

Nice structure. Not like the one in Florence though. Overall, the surrounding atmosphere makes it look interesting and great. The lush green grass makes the view even better.

Beautiful structure! I thought this was interesting and neat to see! I got the combo tickets that bundled the leaning tower tickets and a bunch of other attractions here. The inside of this building was quite impressive, and we climbed to the top for an even better view! I recommend checking it out, but with the bundle of the tower tickets!

It was gorgeous and worth viewing for the price, 10 euro to see all three, but if you must skip something... This was the last impressive monument in my opinion.

Visited this place in May 2017. The exterior of the baptistery is very detailed and ornate, traces of Romanesque architecture can be seen in some elements but it is predominantly Gothic in style. Seeing the exterior walls of Carrara marble in the early morning light is a sight to behold. The interior is quite a stark contrast to the exterior as it appears very plain and has little to no ornamentation. In my opinion, only the pulpit is adorned.

Actually the building is much more impressive from the outside than the inside. If you have a full tour ticket then you can get in, otherwise I don’t think it’s worth the money.

There was no line, we had the bundle tickets. Nice and cool inside if you want a break from the heat. A lot of people, especially tour groups only see the main floor and don't go upstairs which has a great view of the cathedral.

The highlight of the visit to the baptistery was witnessing the steward demonstrating the acoustics of the dome. There is a 10 second echo which allows him to harmonise with himself. We watched this from the upper balcony and it was very powerful. The rest of the building is majestic and in keeping with the other religious buildings on the site

A large square in front of a very prestigious university. There is not much to see or do, however I recommend going at night, very nice atmosphere for meeting young people.

Beautiful main square in Pisa, just 10 minutes from the tower. It's an odd shaped square and actually no cafes or shops on it. But the buildings and architecture is amazing, definitely need to check it out.

This square is very quiet, away from the busy Piazza del Duomo and Leaning Tower area. We spent a peaceful time wandering around it. The buildings surrounding this square are elegant palaces, medieval little churches, and a century old college belonging to the University of Pisa.

For the buildings around it, and the history behind them, particularly those associated with Ugolino and his family, it’s worth stopping. But you can’t go into any one of them.

Probably the most interesting location in the tower-area if you’re somewhat interested in frescos or religious paintings. Due to WW2 destruction huge restoration efforts have been done. It’s nice to roam through the spacious areas and take some time for the place.

Easily the weirdest graveyard I've walked upon. Look at your feet. You get the feeling you're in a museum, but most frescoes are under your feet, which is weird, because they're rarely surrounded and honestly I worry that people will wear them off just walking over them. It is interesting, though I wish there was more to read and not just watch, but maybe nobody knows much.. ps: buy the combined ticket.

Probably the most interesting building in the Campo dei Miracoli with none of the crowds that surround the tower. Although many of the frescoes are currently being restored, you can still visit the whole monument. Where the frescoes still cover the walls, it’s easy to imagine the impact they must have once had on visitors, especially the depictions of judgment day and hell!

Over a thousand years old burial site with some amazing sculptures. Definitely worth a look if you get the combo ticket with the tower.

An incredible area of the Pisa complex. Knowing the age and providence of the frescoes, artifacts and sarcophagi makes them magnificent. It contains a incense lamp that Galileo observe swinging inspiring his later equations. Also incredible paintings of Bible scenes. The first medieval knights tombs from the time of the second crusade in 1146 apparently are covered in soil from Palestine. The ongoing restoration works are still conducting repairs from bombing from WW2.

Tickets required. 7 for just the place or 10 for the complete thing minus the tower. With the tower it’s like 27. Pretty cool! Worth it if you get it as part of the entire tour. Lots of art and history to take in.

A burial site. Interesting murals and frescos. Often overlooked compared to the other buildings in the complex but I reckon it is one of the more interesting building.

Very interesting place, remember to visit the Museo delle Sinopie afterwards to really understand how beautiful this place used to be. 30 minutes was enough time for us to visit it entirely.

You need to see the frescoes. It is unique , very nicely restaurated and one of the coolest devils images ever, worth seeing.

The wall painting of the hell is interesting. One should watch his steps because the floor is quite uneven.

Visited this place last May 2017. As the name suggest: camposanto-it’s a cemetery. The place houses sarcophagi from as early as the Etruscan and Roman periods. There are also graves from different time periods. But for me what is noteworthy are the frescoes. They were painted from the 13th to 17th century, sadly they’re just fragments as most were damaged during the Second World War. There’s also a a sort of reliquary of saints. If you like history and this sort of thing; give it a visit when you are in Pisa. It’s educational and at the same time sombering.

Amazing attraction, lots of history and stories about the paintings on the wall. Definitely recommend visiting and spending enough time there. You can buy tickets on the day or in advance. The Camposanto has nice garden in the centre. There seems to be a room where they held regular services and prayers.

An extraordinary historical monument that is, in fact, a thousand old cemetery. The ornated tombstones, statues, and frescoes are incredibly beautiful. It is a quiet and sober place just near the crowded Leaning Tower. I found myself deeply touched.

Odd, very tiny, ancient ornate church right on the river bank. Why is it there?! Open doors, inside roof is nicely decorated, all wood planks and beams. How they survived is a wonder. Outside is a myriad of intricate carvings, busts, scenes. The door is surprisingly simple, but I guess time ate the first few. Definitely NOT worth a special trip, but on the way to the "star" attraction...for sure stop by.

It's a rare gothic church that can be found in Italy. The church is right by the river. I honestly love the fact that the road and path pass by it shows the importance of the preservation of cultural heritage. Compared to the exterior the interior is quite bland but nonetheless, the church is a masterpiece. Fun fact the former name of this church is Santa Maria di Pontenovo, named after a fallen bridge which was never rebuilt.

Santa Maria della Spina is a wonderful little Gothic church in Pisa, on the left bank of the Arno River. Built in 1230 The facade is decorated by the most outstanding Italian sculptors of that time - Giovanni Pisano, Lupo di Francesco, Andrea Pisano and his son.

The architecture of this church is so beautiful. I would definitely swing by here for a quick visit if you’re in the area.

An extraordinary example of Pisan Gothic, the small church of S. Maria della Spina was built in 1230 on the bed of the Arno in correspondence with an important bridge, the Ponte Novo, which joined the streets of Santa Maria and Sant' Antonio, destroyed during the 15th century and never rebuilt. Precisely the proximity to the bridge determined the name of S. Maria de Pontenovo, which later changed to S. Maria della Spina when, starting from 1333, the church kept a thorn from Christ's crown as a relic, now exhibited in the church of S. Clear.

Perfect spot on a way to Pisa tower. You can make good photos. Usually not many tourists. Really worth to see. Good cafe in front of mural. Burgers are amazing there!

OK, we walked by and looked. Along with a bunch of art students. Nice, colorful but zero that impressive. If you want impressive murals, go to Tbilisi, true art on brick. This is certainly not worth it, keep moving to the star-of-the-show 1km north. BTW, nice burger shop right in front. Good WC too!

Interesting piece of wall art and, amazingly, free of tourists. Well worth taking a detour to go and see (and to escape the crowds!). Easily reached from the train station.

Only a 2 minute walk from the train station. Free to visit. Very easy to miss as its a bit tucked away from the main walking routes. Well worth a short detour to visit on the way from the train station into the city for site seeing or shopping.

"Tuttomondo" is a famous mural created by American artist Keith Haring. It is located on the side wall of the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate. Great to see the work of Keith Haring just as a painting in the city center. His last work, so even emotional value.

The fabulous Tuttomondo mural was made by American artist Keith Haring in 1989. Located on the rear wall of the Sant'Antonio Abate church in Pisa, it was one of the last public murals executed before his death from AIDS-related complications in 1990 and it also one of the few outdoor public works created by Haring for permanent display. It must have been recently restored because it looks like it was just finished yesterday! Super cool and definitely worth seeing in Pisa—an unexpected modern twist in this small but beautiful Tuscan town on the Arno.

It is great to see that a classic Italian city embraced a mural ahead of its time on a monastery wall in 1989.

On the way to the so called “field of miracles”, a couple of benches installed there for easy viewing and contemplation I assume. The mural is well maintained (restored ?), and the size is impressive.

It is exactly as it looks, a wall with artwork on but well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went to see the Keith Haring exposition, definitely something interesting to see and standing in nice contrast to renaissance art you traditionally see in museums in Toscany.

Very nice museum with an engaging collection of Italian art, from furniture to sculpture to painting, as well as some history of the city, some great works by Artemisia Gentileschi, Simon Vouet, and others, as well as rotating special exhibitions. The location is great, right on the Arno River, staff are friendly, lockers to store jackets and bags, elevators and a small bookstore as well. A very pleasant small museum with high quality curation, well worth a visit if you’re looking for a museum in Pisa!

For me, this is the best art museum in all of Tuscany...and probably in all of Italy. One of my favorite museums actually. Whoever is curating their shows is the absolute best and should never stop. I went to a Warhol exhibit here, a Modigliani, a Dali, a Toulouse-Lautrec, a Keith Haring... they're all just so thorough with loads of works from the featured artist. So many times in Florence, especially at Palazzo Strozzi, you go to see the works of a big name, and there are only a handful. It's pretty disappointing. But I've always been extremely pleased in Pisa and make a trip to see the new exhibition they have, which is always the theme of Pisa's December marathon for that year. I love it!

A very interesting exhibition that makes you think. Beautiful photos are definitely worth seeing. Parts of the exhibition are found in the ocean plastic bottles, containers that still look the same after 40/50 years. The entire exhibition prompts you to think about what impact we as a human have on the environment and how much we still don’t know.

A very good place to visit. It has some very interesting pieces of art. It is quiet and the entrance fee is very affordable. We paid €9 euros for a family of four.

You wan't miss anything if you decide not to go. It's good because it's not crowded and you'll get discount if you have been already on Pisa walls and you saved ticket from there.

Such a great museum for those who love antique coins and beautiful interiors. You can see coins dated 540 BC - mind-blowing! Thank you for not sending people in a different building to get a ticket or create other inconveniences for customers like many other attractions in Italy do. Easily the best thing you can spend 3 euro for.

Palazzo Blu is a great exeperience while in Pisa. There is a permanent exhibition where you will find a lot works of art and furnishings. When I visited, it was a temporary exhibition with beautiful art of Keith Haring. You can find on their website what is new.

A very clean place taken the environment into consideration. The entry fee is 4 EUR per person. They have a lot of small benches where you can sit and relax and one of them has a view to the tower in Pisa. Inside you have different sections for different plants. The best time to visit is late summer when most of the flowers are blossom. There are also 3 different toilets inside, all of them are free, but in extremely poor condition. You would expect at least to have a look on the toilet door where they charge you to enter. If you have some free time and want to have a relaxing day with your family. This would be a great alternative.

The Botanical Garden in Pisa is a tranquil oasis where one can unwind and marvel at a diverse array of plants. In the museum, you have a surprisingly well-curated small exhibition, the museum is included into the tickets. On Sunday it's free entrance.

Spotless place to relax and enjoy the time. Ticket entry price is fair and plant selection is amazing, some trees dating 18th century.

This was a great find and a great place to walk around while visiting Pisa for the day. We did a self guided walking tour and decided to go in. It cost us 8.00 Euros for a family of 4. There were a lot of different plants and flowers to see as well as a lot of sign boards in English. There were a couple of school groups but it is big enough where you don’t notice them. Lots of benches and places to sit and relax if needed

Lovely tranquil garden just a short walk from the leaning tower. Families with children pay €8 special rate. Worth a stroll and visit. You can walk the premises for almost an hour amd visit the arboretum and small tropical hothouse. In the museum, you have a surprisingly well-curated small exhibition - my 4 and 7 year-old were more impressed by the walkways and ponds outside, non-surprisingly. A nice diversion from the buzzling town with a friendly staff.

Tonnes of environments with different plants I wouldn't have seen if I didn't go. Would recommend a visit, especially if you're in the Tower of Pisa area anyway

Such a wonderful place to visit! The garden is located in the centre of the city and it's connected to the university. There are lots of plant species to see here. Luckily our dog could also tag along!

Very interesting museum. Despite the comparatively small size, it has a wide variety of plants, and the museum shows plants and mushrooms from inside. I wish I knew Italian to be able to read all the descriptions. It's really worse to visit!

The good The gardens were lovely and diverse. Lovely place to hide from the heat and bustle outside. The wax model collection they house is also quite lovely. The bad One word of warning, beware the mosquitos that hang around the lily ponds. Use repellent or walk fast. The pretty Cute gift shop with nice books, puzzles, gardening sets, seeds and such. Nice to have options for souvenirs that are not a plastic leaning tower.

There is some old trees and some kind of pants. But hundreds of empty spots which I was wondering why they sell ticket to see those empty. It's better to open doors when it's ready!

What lovely way to spend an hour or so in Pisa, away from the crowds, enjoying the world's oldest botanical garden. We had a lovely time here today and will definitely go back - a real oasis in the city with plenty of lovely plants and trees, and lots of shaded areas where you can take a break.

Very nice and well-kept garden, quite large area. You can see that the garden was created a long time ago, but it is really well-kept, a nice large greenhouse with cacti. Definitely I recommend this place.

A small museum, various flowerbeds and a few greenhouses. There weren't too many flowers out in January, but it's a nice place to sit in the sunshine and there's toilets. You also get €1 discount on the city walls if you show your ticket there. For €4 entry, a place to pop into if you have time.

Oldest academic botanical garden well worth a visit after very crowded Tower of Pisa

The botanical gardens is a must-see if youre visiting pizza. One of the most extensive and varied collections of plants I've had the pleasure of seeing. The cactus greenhouse had such impressive specimens, the tropical plants were beautiful and the bamboo forest. The gardens were bigger than I expected I would set out at least an hour if you would like to appreciate it all.

The lady was in the till was so nice and helpful as I was talking only English! Really nice store and customer service!

Beautiful H&M, well maintained and a lot of clothes. There’s a women and men section, but no children’s section.

I understand that these locations see many tourists and it’s very exhausting, as well as stressful for staff. However, customer service is critical. We were two men in a line with many young teenagers making very random purchases before us and there was only one cashier. One store employee saw us many times patiently waiting for 15 minutes. Only when another lady stood in line behind us, the other employee opened another line and took the lady behind us. This is very poor customer service and in all this, the employee continued to look negatively at us, whispering something to the cashier we were with that our cashier was very cold without acknowledging the “thank you” I said to her. It is very unfortunate that in a fashion country of the WORLD, the customer service of a welcoming price point business for all customers, that the customer service is sexist and unprofessional.

We met a very nice young lady who had just started working at H & M upstairs in the men's department and she was Great! She took the time and helped me find the clothes that I was looking for and helped me get a 10 percent discount when I checked out at the register. Thanks for all of your help! Hope to be back soon! The sea was wild with a lot of current. The beach was free, and this is a great plus.

This should not be a place to go to as 90% of it is closed . But if you pay 35euros you can go on the tourist train that goes on the closed route to the beach . I did see and stroke the TAME deer at car park and saw some terrapin on the river as a road does cross it and you that is open now. A very wasted journey . On there own map they write all routes open

Highly recommended! A beautiful park with amazing pine trees . Dedicated bbq area, trekking paths, restaurants ecc You can also rent bikes to explore the area or take the little train that goes to the beach. Some areas of the park are not accessible so make sure to check beforehand at the visitors centre.

This is a beautiful and very natural park. You can even see deer here. There are guided tours, horse trails and carriage rides.

Most of the area is a so called zone 1, where you are not allowed to enter. But the areas you can enter, you will see lots of wild animals. you cannot access the beach since it’s in a forbidden area. without a map you will get lost since there are no signs along the way.

A very suggestive place, indescribable peace and holiness. It's a wonderful feeling when you visit here - you don't want to leave. Basilica di San Pietro Apostolo (Basilica di San Pietro Apostolo) located in the area of ​​San Piero a Grado, Pisa. Found this place after Pisa when everywhere was closed cos of cvd19 this was open and a mix of archaeology and ancient church great. Worth the visit

This is a special place to potentially all Christianity. This is a really old Church and reportedly where Saint Peter first landed and preached in Italy.

Amazing big church with incredible history and we were the only ones in it!!

A magical religious place, full of frescos and placed in a quiet location. The history of this beautiful Church goes back to the life of St. Peter, who visited in his life - see the ruins inside the church! - and don't forget to enjoy a wonderful ice cream just across the road! 😉

A beautiful mystical basilica, close to Pisa. Not on most tourists itinerary but one if the best sights in the region

Fantastic please full of history. Here is where it was Pisa arbour 2000 years ago.

One of the few parks near central Pisa with a playground for children. The opening times were correct but might not be during holidays (was closed on 1st May). The playground had swings for both babies and bigger kids, small slide, caroussel, but overall a bit run down. The park itself was pretty.

Cute little garden, nice place to sit. Unfortunately you're not allowed up the fortress walls.

This is a very beautiful and peaceful park. There’s a place that has chairs designed as desks. It was once a military fortress in the old days.

Fun to visit but was very run down and lack of maintenance was clearly showing. But the age of the place is amazing!

The park is nice and there is a small playground. It is on the small side so it can get crowded easily. It's still a fun place to see some Pisa history and let the kids play.
