This is a stunningly beautiful church both inside and out in the main square of Modena. Richly decorated inside including painted wood panels dating back to the 14th century.

This is part of Unesco world heritage. Built almost 1000 years ago, it has a very special architecture, with all the arches inside and the external basoreliefs. Beautiful!

It is the central church in Modena. Very nicely done and a lively place. The entry to the Duomo is free but there is a tower beside where you can visit paying 2 Euros. I haven't been there but what I heard from friends is that place is worth a visit if you are okay to go up quite some stairs. You get a better view of Modena from the top.

I'm not the best person to review somewhere like this as cars bore me to death, but I was dragged along with my husband and son. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very well done and kept my interest. This museum is more about the man than the cars and was quite interesting. There are plenty of cars about though, the green one as you enter is just stunning. The movie is well put together and engaging. All in all, pleasantly surprising. The merchandise however, is ridiculously overpriced.

Small but nice. I liked the fact you could see the various motors and cars. There is a video on the history but I must say it didn't detail how he came to build the 1st car or the 1st factory. The shop is nice, good quality products. Count a minimum of 60 euros for a t shirt. You can take a photo in a car for 15 euros and do a ride simulation for 25 euros.

Great experience, right in the house where Enzo Ferrari was born. The museum is not so big, but full of cars and memorabilia. I put 4 stars because 22€ is too much for a less than 1h visit. For 30€ you can purchase tickets for both museums (instead than 44€). Cafeteria and bathroom available.

Certainly, this is a place worth visiting during a trip to Modena - not only if you are a fan of sports and luxury automotive. It’s a symbol of the city, inseparably linked to it. The museum itself is small, exhibiting rather basic models of cars from different years and a few additional issues, such as engines. The average tourist will spend less than an hour there. The admission ticket price? In my opinion, overpriced, but I understand that for brand enthusiasts, it may not matter. However, charging an additional fee of 20EUR for… the opportunity to take a photo in one of the cars seems grotesque to me!

I visited this museum on Monday, and the place wasn't crowded. The tickets cost 17 euros per person. There are few things you can see here, but it's a short visit (1 hour maximum). It depends on how much you want to read, but mainly the visit won't take too long. There are no benches or chairs to sit inside the gallery, there is a movie being played for 10 minutes, and you have to keep standing in order to watch it. Masks are strictly advised to be kept all times, even if you want to take photos.. I mean ok, but for 5 seconds it won't make a difference to take it off. Yet the staff are strict and keep shouting. Is it worth it? Yes, if you are HARD-CORE Ferrari fan. No, if you are just a car lover, maybe the price doesn't justify what will you see.

Pretty cool museum, even if you aren’t into cars. Many Ferrari’s on display including good information on Enzo’s life. Bonus points for the wonderful air conditioning in the building. Small and free parking lot that often gets crowded. We found free street parking easily though. I would recommend checking this out if you’re in the area.

Very nice place. Try to get there early in the morning for a free secure parking at the Ferrari ground. If you come after 11 you will struggle with parking as it’s limited for spaces. Beautiful new building and lots of cool cars inside with a special video moment inside the building. Very nice surprise. Accessories are pretty darn expensive , after all , it’s a Ferrari.

It was interesting to see the story of Enzo Ferrari and the cars themselves. The video in the display area was well done. I would have maybe like to have had a bit more about the production or specialists on hand to share more detail about the cars and engines. But nicely done and worth a visit for the price of 17 euros a ticket. The bar was a welcome stop on the way in and of course the obligatory Ferrari shop on the way out

Nice museum. Parking is possible in the area, but there were no free parking place. You have to wait or find parking anywhere. If you have seen the movie about Enzo Ferrari, it is fine to see on person where it happens, but you will not see any special …

I wasn't a big fan of cars, but this place made a huge impression on me. I became a huge fan :))) this museum is fantastic and a must-visit in Modena. The cars are spectacular, shiny, standing under a beautiful, modern dome. Truly, as a woman, I was delighted.

Well organized. Including historical data, old pictures and amazing cars (especially old ones in a very good shape). Nice classical music on a background. The only thing that I guess could be improved is toilets. Definitely needs some renovations (at least).

Very nice collection of historic Ferrari cars. Also done insight on Enzo Ferrari's life. There are some amazing cars to be seen. However the museum is rather small. The museum in Marinello is more exciting. There is a lot to be seen inside and out. It is a good visit if you are in the area.

Amazing experience. So many beautiful cars . With a history of his life. There is another part you travel by bus but we didn't go there. Fabulous building with a cute restaurant. There's an area where you can experience driving a ferrari through a game. My 11 year old daughter love it. She had so much fun.

We visited the Museum in Modena but were not able to travel out of the city to see the factory and racing museum. The Enzo Museum was very well done telling the story and history of Ferraris founder and his vision. Plenty of fantastic cars on display to drool over and the history of the engines is an amazing tribute to the engineering and attention to detail of the team.

It's a pretty nice experience even for a non crazy f1 or car enthusiast in general. The car gallery is very nicely done, with the whole hall used as a short projection show in between. There is a continuation of the motors on display in Enzo's old home which was really nice to see as well. My 4 yo kid wasn't that interested but at least enough to wander around.

This museum is all about road cars not motorsport. Liked but thought there would be a lot more cars only about 30 sadly but each car was very nice. A film comes on and the lights go down, it was very interesting about the life of Enzo from his childhood all the way through only about 10-15mis long but a nice touch. There is 2 buildings you go in all though this is not so obvious as some was missing the smaller building. Worth a visit will take about an hour to walk round and snap some nice pics.

The Enzo Ferrari Museum is wonderful...if you love Ferrari, cars, or Enzo Ferrari himself. The museum is made up of two buildings. One is the original house of Enzo which is now a pseudo garage and racing exhibition hall. The second larger building is a beautifully constructed showroom for Ferrari's old racing and commuter vehicles. It's truly a room full of cars. Very little description is given about the significance, specifications, or detailing of each vehicle. While credit is given to each vehicles designer, no information is given about those people other than a passing name reference. The visuals are all extremely self promoting, and one room literally just plays Ferrari commercials. Yes, just advertisement. The gift shop is extremely expensive, so expect to pay over €300 for sunglasses, over €250 for a jacket, or over €60 for a key chain. So it's a cool museum if you're a huge fan. If not, skip it, and buy a nice meal with your €22-€30 entry ticket.

Engines are fascinating and of course the cars are amazing. Could do with more info about construction methods and perhaps how these have changed over the years. Perhaps that is something you get at the main facility... I'm sure I'll find out soon enough! If you have a PS5 and GT7 then skip the simulator - it's amusing but ultimately the left-to-right force feedback is nauseating rather than an accurate representation of an SF90 (though having real controls is a nice touch)

Absolutely fantastic to see where it all started. The story of Enzo himself and where he built a great car company. The museum itself is really well designed and cool. It's kind of hidden because it seems a lot of it is underground, but when you get inside it's very spacious and looks very good with all the white. I also like walking through Enzo's house and seeing his office setup and trophies. I really liked the walk through history.

Visited this museum while on a trip to Modena. I was surprised how much I liked it. If you like cars (which I do) this is worth a visit. It’s a beautifully laid out museum. The history of ferrari is communicated through pictures, videos, memorabilia and most importantly cars.

The place is small and neat! the first part of the museum is free, only the engine and car show room required admission. great for car lovers.

Loved it! Not only does the display room in the museum have a great ambience but I loved the ENGINES(!!) display in Alfredo's workshop. I spent three times longer here than in the Museo Ferrari. It's simply a better display especially with a lot of the cars on raised platforms so you don't have to look "down" but "directly" at the cars. Definitely recommended.

The amazing reviews are indeed true. We loved the museum as big Ferrari fans. Was meters away from the Modena train station and the staff was really friendly. We were lucky to visit it during a lovely exhibition about the personalization of the Ferrari cars which included a 30 minute movie. We also got the chance to get inside of a ferrari car and have our pictures taken. We chose which of the 3 photos we wanted to get a copy of and payed 25 euros (15 euros for the first copy and 10 for the second), but we were also given qr codes for all 3 photos to download in your devices. To us it was worth it but you can determine if you agree or not. PRO TIP; if you are planning to visit the museum, make it a whole day and add to your itinerary the one in Maranello too. The day pass for both of the Ferrari museums is kinda expensive but totally worth it. Also, if you arent traveling with car the bus which is operated by the company and connects the two museums is the way to go! We found it extremely convenient but make sure to buy tickets in advance and plan the visits around its schedule.

Decent museum, some Ferrari models, but I feel like some iconic ones are missing. There is some information on Enzo Ferrari’s life, but I expected more. It’s also a bit pricey, to be honest. Overall, I think it is worth a visit just because it’s Ferrari and you see some impressive cars.

Amazing museum. Loads of cars and other items on display. The exhibits rotate seasonally so you typically won’t know what you’ll see until you get there. Unfortunately, I missed out on seeing a few supers such as the LaFerrari however was able to see an F40 instead. Incredible museum for any car enthusiasts. It is also walking distance from the Modena train station making it easy for a day trip.

One of the most beautiful things that can be found in the city. A lot of cafeterias around where can be drunk best esspreso. Local people are very kind to explain anything you are interested in.

Piazza Grande in the heart of Modena is surrounded with Duomo di Modena, Palazzo Comunale and other important buildings. The Piazza itself is covered in cobblestones and closed for traffic. It’s a bit empty (a nice fountain or a statue would be a great centerpiece), but what you are surrounded with is what is really impressive. You have many little shops, bars and restaurants in the general area. The famous Mercato Storico Albinelli is nearby, just across the street is Trattoria Aldina, where you should reserve a table to try local cuisine. Modena is great, one of my favorites cities in this region.

The main square, although on 3 sides it has church or government building so really nowhere to sit and enjoy the views. However it's main point in town where the sights are.

Modena's central square is simply gorgeous, with on one side the cathedral and Ghirlandina bell tower, on the other the beautiful town hall with its still-working clock tower, as well as plenty of restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours, etc.

Recently, I had the pleasure of travelling to Modena's Piazza Grande, and I must tell that it was an amazing experience. The city's centre is home to this sizable, ancient square, which is encircled by some of the most exquisite buildings I've ever seen. Even though I live in Modena and have been to Piazza Grande numerous times, I continue to be in awe of its beauty and allure. The magnificent cathedral, an architectural wonder that is undoubtedly worth a visit, dominates the square. The cathedral's interior is as stunning, including a soaring vault and lovely stained glass windows, as does the exterior, which is embellished with elaborate carvings and sculptures. But Piazza Grande's attractions don't stop at the cathedral. The historic Palazzo Comunale, Modena's municipal hall, is also located on the Piazza. The palace is a magnificent example of Renaissance design, and it is embellished with exquisite sculptures and murals. In addition to these historic structures, Piazza Grande is a wonderful location to unwind and take in the city's ambiance. The square is filled with cafes and eateries where you can sit outside and take in the sights while drinking a cappuccino or eating a delectable meal. In conclusion, I would heartily advise going to Modena's Piazza Grande. You will definitely be impressed and inspired by this lovely and ancient square. Whether you live in Modena or are just visiting, Piazza Grande is a must-see location!

The tower is in good condition and the steps are quite wide and made of stone so you feel secure. There are 200 steps to the top but it is easy to climb. The view from there is amazing. The price is 3€

No access to the bell room, however it worth the trip to have a panoramic view of Modena.

This wonderful marble tower stands next to the cathedral in Modena's main square. For the princely sum of €3 you can enter and climb almost to the top where a friendly guide will explain the history of the tower and answer any questions. Due to COVID you need to book your entrance time by phone or on-line. It was originally built in 1189, and then extended to its current height during renovations of the cathedral between the 13th and 15th centuries. In fact the lower part is in a different style to the higher.

You can visit this place and have a full view on the city, nice if you like the view from above. It cost only 3 eur and you need ~ 20 min for the full visit. Inside it’s not too hot. Be aware that: - you need to book in advance using website - it’s 200 steps to climb, no elevator - with face mask it can be even more challenging - windows for camera are not too big, so selfies or big cameras … will not really work

It was a very spontaneous trip but what a wonderful experience. Valentina greeted us so warmly and gave us such a great tour around the acetaia. What I also liked, is that we were not pushed to buy anything, but honestly, after such a good tour you cannot leave empty handed. Also, it was our first time trying a vanilla ice cream with Balsamic vinegar! Highly recommend! Another thing - the tour was absolutely free. Awesome experience! Our hotel recommended this place, and we got a last minute private tour. Our tour guide (Nico) was so accommodating and welcoming. She even brought out some gelato (on a super hot day) so we could sample it with the buttery and rich balsamic! We learned so much about the process of making balsamic vinegar and got to enjoy various tastings too. We even got to see a balsamic barrel that’s been in use since 1512! 🙀 Definitely a must visit when you plan a trip to Modena!

One of the highlights of our trip to Italy!!! To see and hear the process of how balsamic vinegear is made was amazing. We were shown barrels that have been used since the 1500s. When our sweet guide said she had a surprise for us, she came flying around the corner on an ice cream filled bicycle. Who would have thought that balsamic vinegear on Gelato world be as amazing as it was. Their gift shop had exactly what we needed, and our friends at home will be enjoying a little bit of Italy.

We had a free tour of this acetaia. The amazing host really spends his time to explain the intricate details of making traditional balsamic vinegar. At the end of the tour there's a tasting round and afterwards you can buy products available for different budgets. They're not pushy, even explicitly said that we don't have to buy anything. It's beautiful to see how passionate they are about their work and product. Would definitely recommend! Just call ahead and ask for a tour.

Worth visiting the home of Luciano Pavarotti to understand what a talented performer he was. To see the costumes he wore and, through video, to hear the majesty of his singing. Also to understand the good that brought to those in need through his Pavarotti and Friends concerts. Personally I would have liked to see/read/listen more about his early life.

It was good, not more than that go there if you adore Pavarotti? If not it is just a house with 13 rooms. Sad point is in total you have to walk for 40-45 minutes and there is no public transport, so if you don't have a car it would be tough. But the house by itself is something that you would enjoy. BTW there is a restaurant which only works after 6 pm, so make sure you are bringing something with yourself.

We visited on a Monday at 1p and we couldn't have picked a better time. It was empty and it felt almost magical. It is definitely worth the 20 euro taxi. If you enjoyed his music and humanitarian work it is definitely a place you should visit. Audio tour available through the museum. We did not do it with an excursion. It was still very wonderful and peaceful.

Fascinating! I am not an opera aficionado but I can appreciate greatness. His lust for life and love of colour and warmth is apparent through the house. And the wall of photos with famous people is just symbolic of a life truly well lived.

We loved this museum, which provided an affectionate commemoration of the family and professional life of Luciano Pavarotti. It offers an intimate look behind the scenes, you really got a glimpse of the man behind the voice. A must for anyone who has ever heard and loved the work of Pavarotti.

If you are an opera lover and are in the Modena area, don’t miss it. One really can feel his exceptional personality, not only as an opera star but also a human being.

During this visit i became quiet. That doesn't happen often. It is impressive, in every room you feel that he is there. The beauty is that you feel his presence and the place is not converted into a Disney version of Pavarotti

We had the opportunity to discover a piece of his sunny and colourful personality and admire the simplicity of his living in this green and peaceful corner of Modena. Absolutely beautiful experience! It's amazing to see how one man from a small town in Italy touched the world with his incredible voice and a lovely smile. The tour consisted of 12 rooms that covered his daily life to the most memorable awards, pictures and letters. Definitely worth a visit.

Fascinating insight into the life of one of the greatest tenors. A modest residency, although he was a very wealthy person. I liked particularly the kitchen and the bathroom. No luxary, but cosy. Recommend to Pavarotti fans.

I went into Luciano Pavarotti’s house with no idea what to expect. I walked out with not wanting the tour to finish and with a new love for Opera. The tour was captivating and showed this great man a look into his life.

I love music but not a person that knows tenors /opera . But who doesn't know of Pavarotti. A greqt add to our trip to Modena. House where he lived and great insight including letters, art from lovers of what he did. What a man. Add to you list.

Some experiences remain more vivid than others and this will be one of them. I was introduced to and taste-tested the varieties in a friendly manner. Delicious! I was also offered a personal tour of the barrel facility and ended the visit by exploring the museum. I am very happy that I came to visit.

Really excellent tour and tasting that was free of charge. Tour starts in the Giusti museum which is well thought out to explain the history and process. Followed by trips to the cellar and tasting room. There we tried 2x traditional 5x PGI and 2x flavoured. Our guide spoke excellent English with great knowledge. Would recommend booking online as it’s free.

Wonderful English tour which I 100% enjoyed it! The process of making Basamico, the history, and the nutrition and fun facts were well explained. Of course, there were tasting session at the end, and the staffs there were not force selling. The whole experience was free (not sure if that’s a usual case), so I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Wonderful tasting room and tour. Tastings and tour can be in English and are free, and you aren’t pressed to buy - but you will want to! Large variety of balsamic vinegars, and even flavored ones and white wine flavored ones. Staff is FRIENDLY and gracious, even willing to move tastings from end to beginning of the tour. Will be coming back again! We did not come with a tour pre booked because we are here locally and not on a schedule, but I do recommend prebooking a tour if you can.

The museum mostly tells the story of the family and their balsamic vinegar. The guided tour was good and explained everything very well. The tastings was the best part - of course! They offer a wide range of balsamic vinegars including DOP.

Booked a tour of the estate with a tasting the evening before. Ther were very quick to respond. The tour was very interesting and the explanations were just right. Not too short not too long. The tasting of the balsamic vinegar was also very interesting. Everything was free of charge. At the end you can buy some of their products in the store.

This place deserves ten stars. The space is thoughtfully laid out, the family history is interesting - for Americans, just thinking about aging casks so much older than our country is amazing. The tour is free and there is little pressure to purchase but you will want to - reserve your space! I'm so glad we made the trip out from Bologna.

Great place. The guide spoke excellent English, and answered all our questions. The solace is small but with lots of historical details. The testing of the different balsamic vinegars in the end of the tour is the highlight. Also the tour was free, yet everyone usually buys some balsamico at the end of the tour. Call in advance for English tours since they are limited.

Had a fantastic tour (only 2 of us) with a super friendly and knowledgeable guide. A unique look into the history of the industry and how the Giusti family forged the Balsamic vinegar product. Wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning. The museum is stunning, authentic and informative. Our guide was extremely professional and engaging. The tasting is not to be missed! A synesthetic experience!

Eye opening tour. Highly recommended. Never have thought balsamic vinegar can be this versatile and amazing. Definitely would like to have more of DOP ones and PGI 3 medal , 4 medal and 5 medal ones.

You will learn about the provenance of Giuseppe Giusti, spanning 5 centuries. Our guide took the time to explain the process, certification and rich history, as well as answering our questions in an intimate atmosphere. There is a tasting at the end, and we were very pleasantly surprised about how delicious and complex the Aceto Balsamico produced by this family is. There is a beautifully curated range of product on sale at the end, which is just too tempting to pass by.

It was a great experience to know all the history behind the oldest acetaia in the world. The tour guide was very experienced and replied to all the questions our group had. The taste in the end was the grand finale. The smell where the barrels are is incredible and will be cherished in our memories forever. It was quick and easy to book and is free. The best experience you can have in Modena!

We didn’t make an appointment and just happened to be there when tour was about to start and we were invited to stay. A great choice! The tour was free, short, informative and we got to try about 15-20 different vinegars (all different and delicious!) and learned about the history, story behind this famous and oldest vinegar company. It's pretty but it doesn't feel safe. Numerous groups of men just hanging around the piazza. Would not recommend going there if you're a woman travelling alone.

Lovely market in old town Modena. Not only do they have a wonderful selection of fresh pasta, cheese, charcuterie and fresh fruits and vegetables but they also have a few eateries tucked away into the back corner. Don’t miss this when in Modena. We bought several different excellent sausages and salami as well as some mozzarella knots and a cannolo.

Fabulous day spent here today. We tried out the €25 tasting plate, hot chips & 2 Coke's. Worth every cent, the cured meats were amazing with a nice blend of cheese's. Worth a visit 👍

I always love going to all the different markets when I travel and this one didn’t disappoint. Fresh fruits, meats, cheese, fish, pastas, bakery items, side dishes, this market has it all plus many restaurants to try. It’s always a pleasure to walk around and soak in the local experience. There are a number of places to eat and I would recommend 2 restaurants to try in the market. Balsamico e Cucina – Monari Federzoni & Da Sergio "Abruzzo e le sue meraviglie " both are good for lunch or an afternoon snack. Great place to purchase gifts for the people back home.

I was having a fantastic time until I purchased a focaccia bread and 2 other small pastries from a woman in one of the bakeries there that charged me 3x too much for this as I found out later. I don't speak Italian and I'm sure she knew it.. so took complete advantage of this. I have been to Italy many times and thought of Italians as a noble people that exemplify class. We had an exchange student from Italy we were visiting that are like family to my husband and I - this experience was so disappointing!! This employee gives an otherwise beautiful center of Modena a bad name 📛

A lovely market in the beautiful old city of Modena. I highly recommend visiting it for an enjoyable time shopping for fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, cheese and so much more. A must see to appreciate. We loved our time at this market and were able to buy cheese, balsamic vinegar to take home and fruits to eat while on our road trip. I want to give a special thanks to Massimo at LA Forma Tradizioni. Massimo was a total gentleman and very gracious. The cheeses we bought from him were all just absolutely delicious and top quality.

Absolutely recommended to visit it! It was a pleasure to do the guided tour with Giulia, a super friendly guide who showed the factory and explained us the history of it, finishing with a taste of cheeses.

Great overall experience. The process of making the parmigiana was very interesting. The overall tour with explanation took us around one hour. At the end we did a cheese tasting. It was really good. Also the factory location is easy to find and there is parking on premises. I definitely recommend to take this tour if you are in Bologna and you have a car. Bonus, there is a shop where you can buy all sorts of parmigiana cheese.

Loved the guided tour and tasting. An amazing experience to see all the stages of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese marking from the inside. Great quality of information. Loved the time we had on the cheese storage room to make photos and videos without any hurry. The tasting was delicious too, very informative and pleasant. We had a great time during our guided visit with Martina. She makes it very special, with lots of details and attention to visitors needs. She speaks perfect Portuguese, so enjoy if you need it 😉. I recommend to do it as earlier as possible to she the production process. It costs 20 euros per person and includes a cheese tasting with sparkling wine. Fully accessible by wheelchair. Very interesting and enjoyable tour! Ended with a tasting of different aged cheeses. A very unique place and a really cool deli area where you can take some gifts (or lunch!) to go. Would 100% recommend stopping by if you’re wanting a parm tour. Very easy to book on their website.

We took a tour with a tasting while on vacation. It was very cool to see the process of cheese being made. Because we came in the morning, we got to see a good portion of the process in action. The tasting was a good portion and allowed us to try the cheese before purchase. It’s a great value as is the cheese itself (way cheaper than you will find in the USA). I would allocate more time than they say, I believe they said it would be an hour long, as the tour took a bit longer and then we wanted to purchase some products.

Very informative and interesting. We booked an afternoon tour which meant we didn't see the whole cheese-making process (as this takes place each morning), however there was plenty still to see (and taste!). Well worth a trip, taxi from central Modena was around €20 and took approx 10-15 minutes.

It’s definitely worth a stop. Great tour we had with Corrina, detailed explanations on the process of making Parmiggiano-Reggiano. The tasting is great too. Big factory, impressive views and great history.. what else :)

Wonderful parmigiano production factory! English tours are available, and happen throughout the day- HOWEVER you will want to call to book a spot for a morning tour as production/kettling of the cheese only happens once a day in the morning. Tours are 20€ and come with a tasting of 7 stages of the cheese, two jams and a balsamic, plus a red sparkling wine. The place was impeccably clean and had friendly knowledgeable staff. There is a very large caseificio(cheese shop) so you can buy the cheeses you try and other delicious products - including balsamics from a local producer who is 5 minutes down the road! Would recommend for a stop!

Took a tour of this fabulous dairy that makes really great Parmigiano Reggiano. The tour includes going through the whole process of cheese making from the enormous cauldrons that stir the cheese through shaping, salting and aging. At the end obviously a tasting with local red wine. Highly recommend! Book in advance!

Well organized modern gallery with a collection of some note, though you’ll have to travel to Dresden to see the heart of the collection, which was sold off in the 18th century. Nonetheless you can see masterworks by de Roberti, Tintoretto, Velasquez, Veronese, Bassano, Dossi, Spada, a great selection of Guercino paintings, and probably the world’s largest collection of Lelio Orsi paintings.

A beautiful gallery and a great change from the crowded and congested galleries elsewhere. It is worth a visit just for the superb Bernini bust of Francesco I d'Este alone. The gallery attendants were very friendly and helpful.

The location is interesting - it may seem that you took a wrong turn and ended up visiting a cattle farm but Google Maps is accurate! The museum is wonderful - intimate enough and with that wonderful smell of old metal, fuel and oil surrounded by memorabilia. A far cry from the commercial circus that is the Ferrari museum (not Enzo Ferrari museum which is excellent). There is a donation box as there is no entry fee. Definitely a stop for true petrolheads!

This is the official / unofficial Maserati museum, the Panini family purchased these vehicles from them directly in the 90s when they went bankrupt. Fantastic cars, very helpful staff member. ~25€ taxi ride from Modena center, no public transit will get you here. Must be taxi. Radio taxi only speaks Italian, recommend starting from the taxi stop in Modena (hail taxi from here) and tell them the location you want to go and asking the staff member at the museum to call the taxi back to Modena in Italian if you aren't confident. The price to get there & back with taxi is much more worth it compared to the Enzo museum in Modena. The museum operates off donations.

Very rare collection. Nice keept cars. I am a friendly person and the inspektor was wery negative as I friendly asked if I could see the motorcompartment on the Merak Turbo as I have one and every look in another car helps keep it as original as possible.
