I was so impressed with the Garden I bought a membership for my family. We are trying to go there at least once a month because of the ever changing things e.g. blooming flowers, events, decorations. My son loves their train and playground.

Had an incredible evening with my son for the Winter wonderland Christmas lights. I would highly recommend it for anyone, think it only runs until 2nd January 2022. But it really encapsulates the Christmas feel with their lights, ambient music and themes. It really is quite unlike anything around. Whilst yes there's plenty of beautifully lit streets and they are great to go see too. This has a magical feel to it. My son loved it, there's great food and drink on offer also. It inevitably comes with a price tag unfortunately, but a great experience all the same.

Absolutely amazing. The Christmas lights are truly breathtaking. Amazing day out the Ferris wheel and swings were a lovely addition and we're reasonably priced. The staff all around were really friendly and even offered to take pictures for the group. Would definitely recommend

Love trentham gardens. The gardens are kept beautiful. It's nice to see it at different stages of the year from winter , spring, when everything is starting to grow. Full bloom in summer and then the changes in autumn . There are cafés, toilets, and children's play areas. Sandpits, fairy trail. plenty to keep kids entertained . If your lucky spot beavers.

I was amazed by this park, I felt like a little girl in wonderland 😄! We spent 4 hours for searching all of these beautiful 21 fairies 🧚‍♀️ ! Each of fairy 🧚‍♀️ has a name! Beautiful park with many attractions for adults and children! Highly recommend for visiting 🙏🏻

We came here to meet some friends for our kids to play. I had never visited before due to the business of the car parks putting me off. We met on a bank holiday Friday at 9.30am to beat the traffic, and even at this time, the car park for pretty full. On the way out it was extremely busy and people were waiting for parking spaces. The park itself is very expensive for a one off visit (we were only there for 2.5 hours, and it cost us £35 for 2 adults and a 4 year old). The park itself is beautiful, and the footprint of the land is very large. There is a large lake to walk around and a boat experience, but we didn't use this. We walked around some of the gardens, and then ventured to the kids play areas. The kids loved it, and there was lots of varied areas for them to play in from large wooden play areas to sand pits. It was Easter Friday (Bank holiday) and there was a lambing event on, where we were able to see a variety of sheep either pregnant or who had just had lambs. We saw some lambs from 4 days to 7 days old. Staff were really friendly and chatty, telling us about them. There is a cafe on site, but we did not go in. There are toilets available, which were well maintained and relatively clean. Overall, it was enjoyable, but I don't think I would pay the price again to come in. If you are local, and enjoy walks (dogs are welcome too), you can get a yearly pass, which would be worth while, but I would not pay per day.

Beautiful gardens and can spend a lovely day out. dogs allowed in the park, but haven't seen any loose, what makes enjoyable day for everyone.big kids play area for big and small kids.lots of beautiful metal fairies to look at around the whole gardens.Wc and cafeterias at the both ends of the lake. Lovely well kept gardens with lots of walks . You can take your dog for a walk. The grounds are beautiful well looked after . Orchard Woodlands. There is a cost to be able to go into the grounds but there’s also have a discount card which if are you’re local is well worth it. The membership card can get you discounts in the shops and products that you buy . Definite place to go for a lovely walk in any weather conditions. This is a venue where you can go for a picnic go to the restaurant use the pods. There is concerts on during the summer months. Toilets facilities by the cafes . Play areas for the children. The only thing I would say is if you’ve got a pushchair all wheelchair because there are lots of gravel path this can make it awkward to push. Plenty wildlife in the area. There is a train track which you can pay to go on . Rowing boats .fishing if your a member of the fishing club .Cafes you can see people doing sports activities on the waters. It is a lovely place. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful gardens, but the price is quite high... £12.5 for a nice park.... hmmm. I am sure that you can find few similar parks in midlands for free, but if you want a family experience with a bit of shopping, nature and ok food this is the place for you. I been here few times now and sometimes the park can be amazing, sometime just a regular park. The best is to spend the warm part of the day in woods, then you can enjoy the sun and some average food at the local caffe by the flowers garden. They have few good places for kids and I think that for them can be a great experience. 👍

Great place to visit, beautiful gardens and lake. Lovely scenic walks and play areas. It was good fun for the whole family.

Good place for a leisurely walk around the well kept gardens and meet up with family. Plenty of playground equipment to keep the kids happy and loads of choice between cafes and restaurants.

I would not recommend going here in autumn and winter. It is very cold and windy. But it is so so fantastic in hot&sunny days👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 nature refreshes you 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️🌸 Just one negative side of there is : I think the ticket is a bit expensive. 🤷🏻‍♀️ thanks for proving us such a amazing area to have fun and to be relax 🎈🎈

I absolutely love this park! It's a fantastic place for families. The well-maintained walking path is perfect for strolling with buggies, and there's a plethora of activities for children to enjoy. The barefoot walk path adds an exciting element to the visit. The lovely picnic areas and clean surroundings make it an ideal spot for outdoor meals. Plus, the park offers breathtaking views, a few convenient shops, and clean, accessible toilets. Overall, it's a beautifully maintained park that caters to a variety of interests, making it a must-visit for families.

Took the plunge and cashed in some Tesco vouchers to by the annual pass for the gardens. Only got to use it 7 times in a year and you have got your money back. Lovely walks in well manicured gardens and around the lake. Gives you a reason to get out in to the outdoors ideal for dogs only on a lead though. Coffe shops half way round the lake and nice garden centre and lots of niknak shops eating places and cloth shops plus a farmers market on the 3rd Saturday a month. Loads of parking but can get very busy so go early

First time visiting here it’s a Beautiful place, we just about made it for the last entrance. Exceptional service from Jodie. She was extremely kind and very helpful. She made our day at the park and drive there worth every second. Thank you Jodie ! Will deffo be back again, and allow more time to explore the park.

The gardens are so beautiful. The team do a superb job maintaining them. It's a great place for a spot of mindful relaxation.

Trentham Gardens is a wonderful place. There are a number unique variety of trees and flowers, a huge lake and beautiful landscape and flocks of ducks all around the lake. A minimum of half day is required to visit the place. There are restaurants inside and outside the garden. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the entrance gate. It is busy on weekends but the garden is so huge, it never feels crowded.

Enjoyable walk around the lake, paths not messy, spotting the wildlife on land as well as on water! Excellent cup of tea and cake at the cafe at the beginning of the walk.

Good sized monkey park however, it was £55 for 5 of us (4 adults 1 child) and personally I don't think it's worth the entry fee. It's slightly cheaper if you book online in advance. Parking is free and there are plenty of spaces. It's nice to see the monkeys especially the little babies however, we had walked round the entire park within 45 mins. I think it is aimed more at families with younger children as it has a good sized play park and activity centre.

Really informative and exciting for any age!! 2 metre distance between yourself and monkeys at all times but they walk very close/across the path. Lots of new babies too!! Reasonably priced in total and you can make it last all day with the option of two play parks outside. We had drinks from the cafe but they sell hot and cold food too with a gift shop!

I was here today with my family. We had a great time. It's a wonderful place. The monkeys are cute. You can learn a lot of interesting things from the texts on the signs placed in the forest about the lifestyle and habits of the animals living there. I highly recommend it to people of all ages

I had a Breakfast with Monkeys experience here and absolutely loved it. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and it's an absolute joy getting to go around to the parts of the forest that the public doesn't usually get to see and help feed them their breakfast. I then got to walk around the forest after this as part of the general public and see them along the paths swinging from trees and chasing each other about. I had a huge smile on my face in this place, it's amazing. I definitely recommend visiting!

We visited some years ago, and it's alright the concept is lovely. I wish the tickets included garden entry. I didn't know about the gardens until we arrived, so we hadn't time to visit those. The toilets were fine, the food selection was still too limited like previously, no vegetarian options, eat before you arrive, plenty or drinks selection though. Lovely little play area. The monkeys make it a pleasant walk. Offering the opportunity to feed them would be a nice addition.

Had the best day at the Monkey Forest. It's fairly small but a lovely experience being able to walk amongst the monkeys roaming freely. They had regular feeding talks throughout the day and the staff were very approachable and friendly. My daughter asked a fantastic question during one of the feeding talks and the staff knowledge was both impressive and informative. We found the chief monkey in one of the two social groups and even got to see a few babies. As you go around there are a few lift the flap questions with multiple choice answers. We were lucky enough to get most of our answers to these questions during the feeding talk. It was a really good time of year to go (end of March) because it wasn't very busy today. This meant we got to see the monkeys well and had plenty of time to walk around without it feeling claustrophobic. The food was very decently priced and I was impressed that the hot drinks could be purchased in an Eco cup for just £5. This meant we got a drink and a souvenir all for a fantastic price. They also have 2 playgrounds, a pirate boat to play on, the Banana cafe and a small shop with a good selection of gifts and souvenirs. My pair absolutely loved visiting and we spent a good 4 hours here quite happily (although you can do it much quicker if you have time restraints). I would definitely recommend a visit. Lovely day!!

Stunning Monkey sanctuary set in beautiful Staffordshire countryside. Get up close to these magnificent creatures at the Monkey forest, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There's regular feedings with a team member giving out facts and info on the Barbary Macaques, they're great to watch.. very entertaining! Good amenities on site, great day out by yourself.. or with kids. Highly recommended 👌 👍 🦧

Will you see monkeys? Yes. However there are only certain area's where the monkeys congregate. You find that you are waiting for the feeding times when the monkeys are called by the handlers. The feeding times are throughout the day at different times, so I guess the other monkeys may not have been very hungry when called because out of 140 monkeys there were approx. 7-8 that came to the call. At various other areas there were also monkeys. They do walk across the paths however I only saw this happening when the call went out at feeding time. The overall walk through the monkey forest area probably takes 1.5 - 2 hours max. There are two kids play areas, 1 for older children and the other for younger kids. The on site restaurant is quiet expensive, therefore I would suggest that you take food and drink with you. Attached is a picture of the menu and prices. I think it is the place that you only visit once. I don't think I will be visiting again soon. Overall though it does keep kids busy for the day. Lastly parking is free which is good. If you have a picnic you can take you bag with you and before you enter the monkey enclosure you leave the bag with the attendants and they will give you a ticket. Alternatively you can leave your food/drink in the car and get your hand stamped at the entrance to allow you re-entry.

We had such a lovely time here. The monkeys were so interesting and entertaining to watch in their natural environment. I really like how they are not handled and the aim is to releasethem back into the wild due to such low numbers. The room they have is so vast I felt that they were living a great life. Toilets, cafe and shop on site. Parking was great and the whole experience was enjoyable. There is a disabled access part suitable for wheelchairs which runs by a lovely stream. The only thing I would improve is more seating around the place for those who struggle to walk.

Lovely little experience for all the family. My kids loved spending a few hours here. Its a pleasant little walk around the monkey forest. We watched one of the feeding times that they have throughout the day and heard some facts about the monkeys. Not expensive to get in, even cheaper online. There's a cafe and gifts shop. And a couple of play areas for the kids to enjoy. Will definitely be visiting again. But will wear mosquito repellant next time to save my legs

It was good little day out but there isn't much. Once you've been round and done the little interactive points it would of taken about an hour//hour half at most. The grounds are nice with 2 play park areas and the little shop is cute and an OK priced cafe. Not much to it so I wouldn't go often or for a full day.

You will get far more out of your visit if you go on a 'dry' day. There is enough to fill 2-3 hours and there is also a shopping village about a mile down the road and Trentham Gardens as part of the Trentham estate. The monkeys roam freely and there is the opportunity to observe feeding times scattered throughout the day. Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. There was a very lively and enthusiastic member of staff who worked alone in the small workshop right at the end of the trail. She had a great rapport with children who seemed eager to share what they knew with her. The video clips and additional information areas were also interesting to visit. My 5 year old enjoyed the quiz boards that were part of the trail as it made her walk to the next one without complaining! It is not a long trail and young children should be able to manage the walk. The outdoor play areas are fantastic and well kept. My little one loved playing in the maze and taking part in some den building. Definitely great for an outdoor, hands on experience.

Good day out. Reasonable price. Lovely play areas for the children. Lovely to see the monkeys up close and you get to see feeding time and talks too from the guides. Also an adventure quiz to do for the children. Steep slope down halfway through the walk, suitable for pushchairs as long as you hold on! Nice picnic area. Jungle shop and cafe available

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. We booked tickets online the morning we were visiting, not sure if that's a viable option for school holidays though. Nice walk around the forest and lots of monkeys to see, it was great to watch feeding time and hear the talk about how the monkey forest is researching the monkeys and supporting the endangered animals. The cafe is nice and decent prices and the kids play areas are lovely.

If you like Big round monkeys you should visit at least once. When i went it was a public holiday so everyone decided to come here causing lines to be long and parking to be scarce. When we got in there were a lot of people in the park so if you like it quieter go on a weekday while kids are in school. This is a good place to practice your wildlife photography as there are no fences separating you to the monkeys so the fences wont ruin your shot. Stay on the paths and dont try to feed or touch the monkeys. There are toilets and cafe and playground before you enter the monkey walk. The monkeys were very circular.

This has to be one of the best days out. The monkeys are in peaceful surroundings. The staff were very informative during feeding time. We went round twice as it is doable. We saw lots of activities in the trees, don't forget to look up. We got up close while waiting for them to cross in front of us. We're big fans of 🐒 so it was a no-brainer for us. You won't be disappointed. The toilets were clean too.

Great visit if you need to occupy yourself or any of you family for half a day. Plenty of educational literature on your walk around concerning the monkeys and what is happening to the species. You can take your own food or eat in the cafe which was reasonable priced but eat it before you go around on the walk as your not allowed to take any food in. As we had free tickets (not provided by the park) I can't comment on how pricey it is to get in and the comparative entertainment for that price. But, we all enjoyed our time there.

A chance to walk through woodlands with over 140 monkeys. This has a huge free car park and easy access coming from either the Stoke or Stafford North exits of the M5. Not too expensive to get in, and you can come and go into the Monkey walk area as many times as you like once through the main entrance. There is a good-sized cafe and if the weather is suitable, plenty of outside seating to eat your purchased food or your own. Prices in the cafe are fairly reasonable and decent selection of dishes. A couple of good quality and well maintained play areas for children so they can enjoy the day even more. There are plenty of keepers around where the monkeys are with two feeding areas. They give you loads of information about the monkeys, and all look well cared for and free to roam freely in the woodland. Well worth a visit with or without children.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here walking around the monkey forest. It was amazing to see how much the staff care about the safety of all the monkeys and visitors. They were all informative and happy to answer any questions. The scenery was amazing and you get a good walk if you go around a couple of times. I do advise that you book your tickets before hand, this doesn't only save you time at the entrance but this also saves you some money.

Amazing. Grate day out for the family. So fun to watch the money. Lots of other things to see too. The site is a lovely walk. Plants, trees and river, play areas for kids shop and restaurants inside too. Staff are very friendly, you can also get a stamp to leave and come back into the park. This is very helpful when going with the kids who play up or forget things in the car 😊. I honestly could spend all. Day here.

Great way to spend a couple of hours. Best when there's no rain as it's all outdoors. 140 monkeys in total that roam around freely. There's ducks , squirrels and the birds around. Recommend listening to the feeding talk, only about 10/15 mins. You not allowed to touch or feed the monkeys. Good walking shoes needed. Only a small bit that's a bit uphill. A nice slow walk round about 90 mins. A very good play area for the little toddlers and a very good play area for the more grow up. Park is well looked after, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of free parking. Recommend buy online before arriving as it's a few pounds cheaper. Great park for young kids and adults. Highly recommended.

Spent a quality couple of hours strolling around the forest with our grandchildren, in the company of the Barbary Macaques, watching them play, and feed. Kids loved it, had a very reasonable lunch at the on site restaurant. Large outdoor play area for the children with plenty of seating for adults. Would gladly go again.

I've been visiting the Monkey Forest for many years, first with my own children and now my grandson. We had a great time. My grandson was amazed by all the monkeys around him. We had a lovely walk round then had some lunch from the cafe and a run round the play area. Brilliant day out for all the family.

beautiful park where the animals are finally free and not tied up in small cells. The volunteers are very informative, and the park is well maintained and looked after. If I lived closer to this park I would go here every day!

Absolutely loved this place. My wife and I enjoyed it so much. We couldve stayed all day but had other things to do after but when we come back for a visit we will be spending more time. It was so nice to see the monkeys in a place that was so open and free for them to roam. You really wouldn’t see something like this in a lot of places! We managed to walk right in and buy tickets at the gate. The staff were all lovely. My only negative is probably the seating, would be nice for a bit more seating inside the actual monkey bit, I struggle to walk long distances so had to keep stopping and sometimes had to sit on the fence.

I think the monkey forest is small. So trail is short... We finished trail within 30 minutes. my little boys are 8 & 10 they are expecting for longer trail. Staff is professional and friendly. My boys enjoyed the playgrounds that were located outside of the monkey forest.

Absolutely love this place. A great way to spend the day with the family, great for children. There is a cafe and playground too. A great experience and not expensive either, to watch and observe monkeys roam freely in the forest. There are feeding times too. Overall a great experience!

Really fun day out for the family. We took our 6 year old and we all really enjoyed it. I had not been since I was a kid about 15 years ago and it was exactly the same except for the 4 new slides in tornado alley. Some areas were a little tired but on the whole a really great day. Also not too crowded considering it was a Saturday and the number of slides help to disperse people and keep queue times down. New slides are great however are already starting to look like they need some TLC especially in the exit area which is sad as they are only 18 months old. Only real negatives was the fact that having spent £80+ to visit they then want more money to park and then again more money to have a locker! I did think this was poor and left a bitter taste in my mouth. Also changing room cubicles are incredibly small and we could not find any family ones. They should definitely look at how Center Parcs run there changing rooms as its such a clever idea. Having said the above we would still recommend for a day out as we all had a fun time!

Fun slides and features but extremely busy, even on a weekday. The pool looks dirty and grimy in places. The food was absolutely abysmal and extremely overpriced. Despite it only opening recently, the Thunderbolt trapdoor slide was closed and looks to be in a really bad condition, covered in rust and completely dry. Most of the other slides were on rotation so weren’t open for long and once closed there was no information on when they would reopen. The changing rooms also felt very claustrophobic and worn out. For a hefty admission price of £24 per person, you would expect a much higher quality experience than this. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here. I wouldn’t recommend it whatsoever. Plenty of alternatives nearby, including Alton Towers Splash Landings and The Wave Coventry.

We visited today during the summer holidays and it was super busy. The slides and rides are great but the sanitary side however not so very well managed, chewing gum stuck everywhere and the spa pools were not working along with lots of no entry signs to areas that are no longer open. We saw debris floating in the wave pool and the amount of chlorine in the water made everybody’s eyes burn more that it should have. Aside from the bad points, my kids did in fact love their day out. I’m sure it would have been less manic during a non holiday weekday.

Our family have always loved Waterworld. We took our kids from being little and now take our grandchildren. It's great there are so many slide options once they are 1.1m so this time the youngest got his first go on big slides as well as still enjoying the children's area. I am gutted they removed the lily pads, we all loved going on them but I guess they were a bit of a hazard for some people? We can easily get a full day in once your kids are 1.1m or above as they just take themselves off. Cons: there's a one way system where you have to walk all round the pool with your rubber ring to get to the ride when you could just nip over the bridge. Seems it would have been better the other way around. Again U guess they had their reasons. Food: bloody nightmare! Waiting an hour in a queue for food really isn't acceptable. Then when we wanted a coffee later we had to queue again as the coffee till was closed. If they moved the coffee till to the corner staff could serve both sets of customers switching according to need. There's quite a few choices on the menu which is good. There were plenty of staff so I just think it's been badly /inefficiently planned. That really spoiled our experience of what is a really fun place.

A great day out. The food at the cafeteria was also good quality. Facilities were good but the outdoor pool area was closed and in need of refurbishment. Changing rooms were very busy as school holidays but ample lockers (£5 refundable) and free hairdryers. Staff were helpful and pleasant and pool lifeguards were very astute and ensured everyone was behaving. A well run facility. Best deals available by Groupon as it’s not cheap fur families with more than two kids.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the venue and the steps they have taken to mitigate the transmission of Covid which you can read about on the FAQ page of their website. My review is based on an off-peak visit, where we didn't have to queue for more than a couple of minutes for each ride. I do not think I would visit during peak times due to travel distance, and because many other reviewers say it can get too busy, but that's no different to the likes of Alton Towers or any other popular attraction is it?! The car park had plenty of spaces and was adjacent to the place (just enter reg number and pay with coins, no card payments as far as I could tell, and it's just a flat rate for the day). Staff were all very friendly and seemed to be very attentive to what was going on around them which was great from a swim safety point of view. We have been before and enjoyed the restaurant / cafe which overlooks the main pool (the one with wave machine), and I would say that the offering is varied enough to suit most people's requirements, with vegan options etc. I had the Aberdeen Angus burger which was good value, but it sounds more impressive and premium than it turned out to be when it arrived on the plate. The water looked quite green, but I had read about this on the website in advance so understood the reason why (basically, the water is sourced from a borehole and chemically treated, for environmental / sustainability benefit etc). It feels off putting at first as its not what you'd usually expect, but knowing that the water is scientifically tested helped me to overcome the natural mindset to suspect something was wrong with it. I'm still here to write the review after a week, so that's got to be a good sign! All in all, we had a fantastic time at this place, and would go more often if we lived closer. I always highly recommend Waterworld to my friends and acquaintances, and our kids have always thoroughly enjoyed their days out at this venue. The owner has nailed every aspect of this place and I look forward to seeing future developments and investment going into the business to help maintain its solid status. Very crowded on bank holiday. Long queue outside, but your time slot will start once you check in. Then there was a long queue again to get to any ride, people were standing on the stairs waiting their turn, my son took around an hour 😒 to try one ride. I would say because of bank holiday. People should have finished their time slot and leave but they were staying and came new people with new time slot over and so on. That's why it was crowded. My children were disappointed but they tried to enjoy playing in the pool instead of the rides. We enjoyed the food. In the end it was an interesting first time experience. I may repeat it again but in different aqua park or in normal weekend.

I hadn’t been here for over 20 years, but was in the area so took 2 teenage boys for the day. I have to say I was super impressed! Ive read all the negative reviews concerning cleanliness but can honestly say I found the facilities perfectly fine, and the park and its rides are far superior to anywhere else we’ve visited in the uk. We went mid week and during term time (for most schools) so queuing was not a problem: personally I wouldn’t fancy it during peak times. Even the cafe and available food options was much better than I had expected. The park also caters well for spectators. All round, a fantastic day out, which was great value for money and thoroughly enjoyed by two 13 year old boys. Well worth visiting.

Read lots of negative reviews about here but have to say, me and my 9 year old daughter loved every minute of it. We usually go Sandcastle in Blackpool (6 times now) yet for me, this park is better in every way. So many great slides, we went on 9 today and still had a few left to try. The negative reviews said it was cold in the air and water, yet today (14th May) was very warm for both. Blackpool your limited to 3 hours no matter when you go, yet today we was in for 10am and left just gone 4pm. Parking is £3.50, which gives you 8 hours, again for me this is reasonable, you pay more for 8 hours in Blackpool. Food is extremely expensive though, we got some food from the vending machines inside the changing rooms. I feel they should definitely lower the prices of food. That is a must. I will say they need much more clear signage for where the slides are. If you are coming for the 1st time like us, it took us a while to work it out. Staff were fantastic and friendly, changing rooms were clean as well. We will definitely be returning for sure.

Great place - we went on a Friday at 12 and there were no crowds. More people showed up around 2pm but still not a problem. Great pools adjusted to the depth for everyone. In the big pool amazing wave every 15/20min! nice river with a current that i would really fast. In addition, there are many attractions - 12 slides! We are almost 30 and had a great time for 5 hours! parking cost 3.50 for the whole day and the locker was 7.50 but when returning the key they gave back £5 so it cost 2.50🥰 a small minus for clogged jets in the jacuzzi, which made the bubbles only in some places and a small minus for a poor selection of food. We'll be back for sure! 👍

Don't waste you time. Firstly they won't allow you to bring baby food in you have buy from thier restaurant inside. (£8.49 a meal for kids) changing facilities are not regularly cleaned, Pools have limescale all over it especially the baby area. Queuing for a ride is about an hour (no limit just let everyone in all at once) and the food not worth the price. Queuing for a drink although it's a separate queue but still have to queue at the the hot food.

Disappointing and chaotic experience! It’s not clear what rides need an inflatable, and which rides each stairs go to and height restrictions. It was incredibly over crowded, the park clearly care more about packing you in like sardines and getting more money than they do about the customer’s experience! They should limit numbers more wisely. They’ll probably reply with it’s the legal allowance/capacity , but that doesn’t mean they have to choose to pack so many people in at once! Also everywhere was grimy even my daughter said the inside of the kids small slide was dirty and the showers were pathetic and cold. It’s the worst water park I’ve visited sadly. If it was cheaper then i probably wouldn’t be complaining but £24 for a 5 year old when we can’t even get on the slides is ridiculous, and then to charge you over £5 to park is a cheek!. Also I couldn’t see any experienced life guards just older teenagers manning the place , (again they’ll comment staff are fully trained 🙄) constantly blowing their whistles and chatting on their radios. And don’t even get me started on the food ! Or the state of the toilets ! Unfortunate. Greedy. Would not recommend and will not return.

Visited 16.03.24. Had a good day despite not being the biggest fan of waterslides. Seen a lot of bad reviews saying about queuing issues for the rides, personally we didn’t have any issues with this and we did The Black hole,The nucleus, Cyclone, Hurricane, The family racers, Wave pool, The rapids and the bubble pools. The changing rooms were a bit dingy i’d wear sliders/ flip flops walking around there and there was a couple of plasters stuck on the sides of pool walls. All the lifeguards were definitely on guard today, they didn’t all seem the happiest but they kept everybody safe. I’ve seen a couple of reviews about injuries in The rapids I did hurt my foot in there so maybe the tiling needs to be checked. Definitely eat beforehand as food prices are extortionate and you cannot take food in with you (they do bag checks to prevent this) You do have to pay for parking and lockers however the locker price does get refunded. At the end of it, we did have a really fun day here.

Very nice place in terms of water quality and attractions. In the summer is even nicer with the outdoor pool. And now the big downside is that it was very busy with 10 minutes wait to 15 minutes for rides. Food queue was huge as well and the drinks only till was closed. So had to wait 30 mins for a Coke and a bottle of water. And they don't let you bring your own drinks and food which I understand but they need to up their hospitality game by a lot.

Went for niece's birthday. Not very busy, so that allowed us to take our time. Lovely service from staff.

On balance my daughter and me had a great time, but you have to overlook a number of details to make the best of it. By this, I mean the entrance fee is high in my opinion. The fact you are forced to buy their food and drink and not being able to bring your own is simply profiteering to the max. On top of this there’s car parking charges too. For the two of us there was little change out of £100! It’s crazy to be honest. The place itself was very busy, but it was a school holiday week. I think queuing could have been managed better. The staff do seem typically quite young and in experienced. The variety of rides is much better than I remember. The inside temperature felt cold considering the amount of standing/waiting that is necessary. My daughter was shivering multiple times. When you’re stood around waiting, you do notice the place odd in need of TLC. Lots of areas are tired, need cleaning, painting, tending too in some way. I wouldn’t rush back, nor would be able to afford to in all honesty. If you can see past some of these points and prepared to pay, you’ll enjoy it.

£4.50 to park (I think that’s expected nowadays) However…. ITS THE SAME PRICE TO SPECTATE AS IT IS TO SWIM !! At £24 each to get in this is an absolutely ridiculous price to pay to be spectators. Don’t get me wrong it’s huge and I mean it’s a gigantic water park but unfortunately I have to give it two stars as I do t agree with this ridiculously priced spectator fee.

This is our 4th time going to Waterworld and i can say that our little one loves it there. Great facilities and a good amount of water slides for an indoor place. Plenty of changing rooms with showers, however not so many working hair dryers around so during busy times you will find that you have to wait a bit for one. Lockers are paid and cost 7,50 however you get a refund of £5.00 back to your card when leaving. They have a Hottub, a rapid river type of ride where you are pushed but currents and also during summer they open an outdoor heated pool too. There are queues pretty much all round for any slides and definitely need to be patient. Luckily for us, our 4 year old doesn't want to go to the slides as of yet but she has fun at the water waves and at the smaller slides for children. The food is ok , but a bit overpriced for what you get and there are quite long queues. For example when we were there this weekend, even after our entrance at around 11:00 till we left at around 14:30 it was queues all the way to beginning of the entrance to the restaurant so I highly recommend queueing at least 30 minutes before you want to have lunch. If you are looking for a great place to spend some time and enjoy some water slides, especially when the weather is a bit hit and miss, definitely recommend.

Great pool and a lovely place to spend the day. The queues for the slides where long, so I suggest that you queue when the wave pool is on as it’s much quicker and quieter. The facilities were great, but not so much the showers. They where freezing and not much water would come out, changing rooms are a bit dirty, but a lot of space and a smart locker system. My daughter on the other hand, loved the swimming pool, and so I suggest that it’s a great place for families.

We took a group of young people there for a trip with work. The young people had a good time and there were a lot of slides that the younger kids loved. I'll be honest though it looks dated, the whole place needs freshening up, the locker deposit was £5 which is nuts, especially for a not-for-profit youth organisation. We ended up getting the young people to store all their bags around a table at the restaurant, leaving a staff member with them. The best ride there was closed due to a technical fault. The rapids just go around in a circle but I feel I may be judging the place a bit too harshly as I've been to some fantastic water parks 🤷‍♂️ I will say the staff were really friendly and they were really funny with the young people which made the experience better. If you have younger children it's probably a good day out and I think older kids would enjoy it for the 3-hour time slot. Overall there's enough to do in that time slot without getting bored and the young people we took don't get to experience places like this so they enjoyed it which was the most important thing.

Great place to spend a day there. A good amount of slides however most of them do have long queues especially in busy periods. There are showers available and lockers are not free. There is a food court available inside the park however last time we went there were long queues for ordering and i believe it would take at least about 30 minutes to order something and potentially another 10-15 for the food to be served. Food is tasty but a bit pricey also and not really worth it, unless you gor for the likes of a platter maybe. Last time we went there, we didn't eat because of the long queues and decided to eat somewhere else. The water park is ok, but i think it is a bit pricey especially that most of the time you just queue for slides. The most we loved is the waves "pool", when it runs, which is i believe every 15-20 minutes or so. Overall a great day out if you are lucky and it's not crowded.

Beautifully well kept gardens, vegetable patches, lawns and Lake. Wonderful Large sized garden with a beautiful smell of flowers. The staff at the entrance were friendly. The entrance fee was £11 per person and parking is free. You are free to explore the large gardens and there is some information about the history in the house and the Cheshire Cottage. The gardens take inspiration from different cultures such as China, Italy and Egypt. It was a very enjoyable walk and it is also worth taking the time to feed the fish in the lake.

What a wonderful and intriguing visit! Not been for 20+ years and of course the Trees and bushes have certainly grown!!! Take your time to walk down steps, through Passages and up to the Chinese Bridge and pond. There's lots to see and, as it's the School holidays, lots of activities for children. Cafe was great and Staff friendly and efficient. Do visit but wear good tread Walking boots or Trainers, especially when it's raining ( lots of places to shelter in 😀) Just enjoy but take your time 😊 We will return soon.

An amazing and unique place to visit, a garden that was the creation of an eccentric Victorian. Where else can you visit a pagoda, then step into an Egyptian temple but out of a country cottage? Good cafe and pleasant staff. Recommended for every NT member.

A stunning place with surprises around every corner. Having not read any reviews beforehand I only expected a short walk around woodland and gardens. I didn't expect the tunnels, the winding off-piste footpaths and interactions with architecture. My favourite NT site so far and my most local too. Looking forward to coming back when it's all in bloom.

Lovely National trust property but much smaller than some others. Beautiful gardens but unfortunately not much in bloom (April). We went with children for the Easter Hunt trail. Nice activities and all mine (ages 7-15) were engaged. Some areas have narrow paths and steps that would be very difficult if not impossible to navigate with a pram (first hand experience 5yrs ago). Nice little tea room, prices as to be expected. Second hand book shop and small garden shop.

Beautiful stunning gardens. Plenty to see. Lovely little coffee shop. The wood trail is good for children as there are a couple of play items made out of wood for the kids to try out. £12 to enter, bargain price. The road trip was also worth it, with fantastic views over the valley. There is a county park next door which you can also wonder around. Its a must visit.

What a fabulous place this is! It's totally unique and, despite the rain, was great fun to explore! Came with a group and spent a couple of hours here. The NT guides were very welcoming and informative, and we were each given a map to help us find our way round. The large and impressive house was closed to the public, but we were free to wander around the gardens at will. It was like doing a whirlwind tour of the world, from the formal Italian terraces and an Egyptian temple courtyard to the otherworldly oak stump "sculptures" in the stumpery, a colourful and authentic Chinese garden and the lush greenery of the rocky Himalayan Glen. There were tunnels, follies and archways all along the route. The gardens are imaginatively laid out and very well maintained, with magnificent mature trees and flowering plants from all over the world. Be aware that some of the paths are uneven and there are lots of steps. Bought a nice sandwich in the little tea room where you can also get soup, sausage rolls, pasties and other light snacks as well as drinks and cakes. There are also clean toilets, a second-hand book shop, plants for sale and a reasonable sized parking area. Some good quality gifts in the shop, and the lady who served me was so friendly. Did not get to see every part of these gardens, but I loved what I saw and will definitely return.

This time it was just a very quick stop for lunch. But a truly beautiful national trust location I am definitely going to revisit for a proper visit and to fully appreciate the gardens. Hard work going on the NT commited teams making it such an amazing place. So many places for a sit and to admire the grounds. A few areas off limits due to maintenance but all for the greater good and renovation. A perfect location to enjoy with families I can imagine with the winding paths and different levels to explore.

Beautiful garden. I didn't realize that the house is privately owned so you can't go inside the main house but the cafe, bookshop & drawing room are inside one part of the house & is beautiful. The grounds are mostly all flat which I appreciated & there is a small play house with kids games like Jenga that the kids in our group loved. There are quite a few picnic tables near the car park for you to have a picnic. It is definitely worth a visit for all ages.

We loved this garden. Lots of activities for kids, games like throwing wellies and soft balls left there for families to enjoy. (Sanitiser provided to use!) Love the little caves for kids to walk around. We loved climbing the rocks in the China garden. Beautiful and colorful pictures in this area. Lovely tearoom/shop. They also have a second hand book shop.

Would have got 5 stars if better paths and more ramps. Superb gardens but even both cafe areas up steps. Nor really wheelchair accessible. Free car park with accessible spaces. Nb House not open to public. Lots of steps! Outdoor seating available.

Although there is a house on site, it is privately owned, so this National trust property is all about the gardens, and what beautiful gardens they are. It's a real adventure finding all the different areas and because of poor signage very easy to get turned round or slightly lost. Don't let that put you off , as you will often find areas you may not have seen otherwise. Being a NT property all the usual things are on site, such as cafe, shop, 2nd hand books, plant sales etc. Well worth a visit even for a hay-fever sufferer like me 😊

It was a wet, cold day when I visited this garden but this did not spoil my experience of this wonderful place. There is much to see there. When I visited there was a beautiful display of dahlias and I enjoyed exploring the Chinese Garden which has undergone recent restoration. I was most impressed with the garden urn which is thought to be the largest in Britain. The house is privately owned and not open to the public but there is a very pleasant café and a shop selling a good range of products.

Lovely place to wonder around. Pushchair friendly only on in the small area. There are lots of steps and most beautiful parts of the garden accessible on feet only. Picnic area next to the carpark, no picnics on the territory of the gardens. However, there are plenty of benches. Forest trail playground is available for kids.

Absolutely fantastic gardens. A real botanical feast for the eyes. The history behind the gardens is really interesting. There is a wide selection of plants from around the world but the best thing is the design of the garden leads you through sections as if you’re travelling around the world. You are in Italy for a moment, then you are in the americas. Through a cute cottage you’re then in Egypt and before you know it you’re deep in the jungle and thrust out into Asia. It’s a mad experience as far as gardens go it’s a proper roller coaster! It’s not a huge place and you can easily get around all areas in a few hours. It’s easy to navigate and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The house is private so it’s only the gardens you can visit. Although the cafe and bookshop are part of the house. Parking is decent, there are picnic areas around the car park. The shop is small but has a nice selection and there is a good selection of plants and garden accessories available. A brilliant day out.

Lovely garden to visit. Smaller than majority of National trust areas we have been to but extremely beautiful and worth a visit. Staff are friendly and the garden is very well maintained. Gorgeous flowers all around. Toilets near the main entrance along with a cafe, second-hand bookshop and shop. There is an area with some outside games to play like connect 4, jenga and boules (free) Car park is free

Definitely a worthwhile visit! Even though we can’t enter inside the house, which is privately owned, the huge and beautiful garden is really good enough for visiting. The plants are gorgeously grown and the whole design of the garden will surely impress you. The kids finds fun in different areas inside the garden. The staff are nice, helpful and cheerful. Magnificent place, especially if you're into horticulture or in my case,photography & videography, however, lesson to myself, if I want some decent photos & a cinematic YouTube video then don't visit on public holidays, Easter Saturday in our case! Still a great afternoon out surrounded by stunning trees, plants & various other things! Quite random, but very good small book shop there too, with some books over 500 years old! Great cafe, too, for refreshments after your wander round the site! Highly recommend!

From start to finish me and my family had a wonderful first visit. All of the staff we came across were so nice and friendly. The gardens were beautiful, we can't wait to see it when the flowers are blooming. Thank you to the lady who gave us a little talk about the fossils, my girls really enjoyed this. Great gardens with lots of variety and interest. Some sections not wheelchair accessible. Nice cafe. Well worth a trip, maybe 2 or 3 throughout the year as the floral displays will change. Young children will enjoy the exploration.

National Trust property. Lovely well maintained Gardens, great fun to explore. Lots of steps and winding narrow paths. I did see a few buggies about and there are some wide paths giving access to areas, consult NT website for a better idea of accessibility. Toilet and café facilities are good and there's plenty of parking.

A beautiful and intriguing garden with a fascinating history. The Café, garden shop, paleontological gallery and second hand book shop are also worth visiting. I had no problems finding a parking space.

Even on a drizzly day this is such an interesting and nice place to visit. The cafe has great food and cakes. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Spent about 3 hours here. Free parking too.

A top class museum to explore if you want to know anything about the Wedgwood family business and their amazing creativity from the late 17 hundreds to today . After exploring the time line and seeing beautiful show cases of all their work from cream and jasper ware to cameos and vases then you can pop into the tea room or shops. I recommend the Blue pagoda tea . It has a fruity flavour and a lovely mango aroma. The coffees are very good too with options for oat milk . I have also had afternoon tea with friends to celebrate a birthday .It's quite pricey but you will enjoy the surroundings and the ambiance as well as the fantastic cakes and sandwiches. A real treat !

Amazing experience. The kids get exposure to a new sensory challenge and feel the achievement of making a customised clay 🏺. Next phase is to come and decorate it. The lady was assisting our kids step by step and she is very patient and kind with the children.

Beautiful place! Factory tour is highly recommended! As well as an afternoon tea. The museum (V&A Wedgwood collection) reviews the history of Wedgwood as well as share 3500 items of their works over the years. I wish I could have stayed more and also join at least one of the Creative Studio experiences.

An amazing experience and so much to do! Pot throwing experience is very good making 2 pots with a very friendly knowledgeable guide. You can spend quite a while in the V&A collection museum which is amazing particularly if you are interested in ceramics, however the very well curated collection takes you through industrial and social history. The development of the factory and the different styles of pottery. There's a few oral histories too. Not a huge amount to keep children amused but there's a trail with stamps to impress in the paper. Don't miss the Tea Rooms. Pricey but good value for money and cater extremely well for vegans as they have an afternoon tea for them. We had scones but the afternoon tea looks legendary and they will supply you with a nice box to take away what you can't manage. Excellent choice of teas and very good coffee. Different styled rooms and of course eating and drinking off Wedgwood's finest china! There's also a shop, an outlet shop with stuff from the parent company Fiskers and a local produce shop if you've any money left after all of that!

Exceeded expectations with a beautiful display of collections, shop and exhibitions. Some exclusive styles available to purchase including exclusive Wedgwood advent calendar. Everything was beautiful, a visual feast. Really lovely staff. Wish we had come with more time to spend as you need a few hours to appreciate it all and to spend time in the wonderful café too!

I took one hour lesson of pottery and it was great. Emily gave the lesson and she was so patient and lovely with first timers like me.

I recently went to the World of Wedgewood for my best friend's baby shower to have afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was lovely, we were given a good selection of sandwiches including beef brisket, cucumber and cream cheese, chicken., Ham hock and egg mayonnaise. Two different scones with jam and clotted cream. Then an arrangement of mini desserts, including a macaron, sticky toffee cake, brownie, an apple pie like cake and a lemon posset. The staff were very attentive, especially to the mother to be in regards to dietary requirements and keeping us hydrated with tea, coffee and water. There was complimentary prosecco on arrival or the option of a soft drink. I'd recommend the raspberry lemonade. They can also cater for vegetarians and gluten free dietary requirements.

I thought it’s just going to be like the boring part of John Lewis but oh boy! We did the clay studio in the morning, lunch, factory tour, museum then shops and it has been the best day out for as far as I can remember. The clay studio was a lot of fun and you’re well supported as a newbie like me. Factory tour was surprisingly riveting. Restaurant food was delicious served up on Wedgwood, but what made all of it incredible were the people throughout the day who were the kindest, funniest and most patient. Still buzzing. Cannot recommend highly enough. UK’s most underrated attraction

Excellent venue. Very interesting museum and a superb tea room. Plenty of free parking and a couple of stores plus a bar. Easily spend several hours here or just pop in for something to eat and drink.

Amazing free museum with the excellent restaurant . Was able to have lunch without booking a table which was a lovely surprise. Fabulous food all presented on there own porcelain ware (Stunning) Everything used is for sale in shop, also the price of meal was so reasonable it actually compairs with eating out at any good pub or motorway cafe..... Looking forward to next visit and hopefully been able to book full tour and afternoon tea.

What a wonderful place! Beautiful museum and free with amazing exhibitions of pottery world created by Josiah Wedgwood famous for all the Stoke on Trent but also fare away abroad with fascinating heritage. You can see the stories of him and of his workers inside the museum. And the most important , you can see the truly heritage of pretty and exclusive pottery, how it was developed, painted and created. I highly recommend this place to visit.

Such a great, historical place to visit. You can explore nearly anywhere in the pottery and learn so much as you go along! There’s a tea and sandwich shop inside as well, that makes for a nice, affordable lunch out.

Well organised, informative museum. A great insight into the working life of the factory and the people who worked and lived there and in the surrounding area.

Waited ages to come here as it’s I’m usually working but took advantage of the bank holiday to finally pay a visit… love walking round old factories and have previously done the middleport tour. Also it’s the home of the pottery throw down so would have loved to have seen the bit they do the filming in but it doesn’t appear to be on the tour, none of the previous pottery throw down creations on show either that I could see. But still a great place to visit, entry price is very reasonable and there is a lot to see for relatively small site. The cafe was nice too although the squeaky sounding stairway up to it sounded like it needs a bit of TLC lol Would recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed

A wonderful museum, so much to see and learn. Really friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived later than planned, so only time for a flying visit, but we pretty much had the place to ourselves after 4pm on a Friday. Will definitely be back sometime soon.

Incredibly atmospheric location. Staff were very welcoming and friendly; one lady provided a demonstration with clay and another was hand-painting vases. I was the only visitor at the time so it was great to have the place to myself! I was surprised that the period machinery was in action; the noise was intense and gives a clear impression of what the working environment was like.

A really interesting experience. Went with my family and were there for several hours exploring all the things and could have probably stayed even longer if we'd wanted to explore in more depth. The toilet museum was a peculiar surprise and was honestly better than I feel it really should have been. The cafe was quaint and served lovely Staffordshire oatcakes. Would recommend this if you're in the area.

Very very interesting. Film show about history before you explore Gladstone pottery.staff very helpful.some people may struggle with cobbled floor uneven pavement.There is a lift to upper floor also cafe there based potatoes snakes etc.gift shop range of prices of gift enjoyable day.

A really good museum. We had three live demonstrations with people who had a genuine interest in their craft. We didn't do the cafe bit but a really good presentation from start to finish. Would go again.

I loved visiting the museum and having the chance to kearn a bit about the history of The Potteries. Highlights for myself were throwing a pot and making a flower, which I can both take home too. So enjoyable. Made my day today. Thank you!

My wife and I came down to stoke to visit a few things and this was one of them. We got into pottery through the throwdown show. This museum is a lot bigger than I imagined, it had so much in it, I feel like I’d need to come back again to see it all! A warning for the toilet museum section - it is quite smelly! I feel like I could smell it all day, obviously this is on purpose but just as a warning for people who have a weak stomach! My wife and I had a go at making the flowers which was a lovely keepsake at only £5 each! We went on a Sunday and it wasnt’t too crowded. Nice little gift shop with loads of selection. Didn’t go into the cafe but the coffee smelled nice.

Fantastic working museum. See the history of pottery in Stoke. The exhibits were detailed and really helped me imagine what it would have been like working in a pottery. What I couldn't envisage is how bad the air quality must have been when there were over 2000 bottle kilns in Stoke! Entry was cheap and an extra £5 to have a go at pot throwing was well worth it. My 4 year old son also had a go and the instructor did really well letting him do it and also giving sufficient help so that he ended up with a pot. The toilet history exhibit was also really good! Also, if you like the Great British Throwdown then this is where it is filmed!

I attended the craft fair at the pottery museum and what a marvellous day it was. I really enjoyed being fully submerged in my hobby. There was lots of lovely chatty staff to help with any issues and I throughly enjoyed meeting past great pottery thrown down contestants. I would say that this place is Very much worth a visit.

Very informative showing how hard life was for workers in the local pottery industry. Nice little cafe and some hands on activities which need to be booked as soon as you arrive.

A fantastic slice of history! It was brilliant to see a working museum in action and to really get a sense of what it must have been like to work there. Lots to look at and read, even my two children enjoyed it. Gladstone Pottery is where they now film the Great Pottery Throwdown, which is what inspired my love of creating ceramics myself. The staff were so informative and friendly...I got chatting to one of them and mentioned that I wanted a plate mould...they happened to have one in their car boot and sold it to me for a great price!!! It's a shame they were all sold out of the little hanging bottle kiln models though.

Such a great place! Informative boards and films with friendly staff. Lovely to see the big kilns and imagine what it was like with so many of the big chimneys spilling black smoke out. Tea room had great cake at a great price. Go and spend a couple of hours here!

Visited here whilst in the area, was pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed it! Interesting to see how the place was when in its full working ways. Fascinating to see what was done here and how the ppl worked. We did the flower making which we enjoyed, the lady who was doing it was very helpful and friendly. You get to take the flower home with you plus it was only £5. We had a drink and a scone with jam and cream in the cafe. Definitely Recommend going if you are thinking of going!! You won’t be disappointed

Perfect rainy day! Fabulous day out on a rainy day ⛈️ We arrived and headed straight to the restaurant in the garden centre for a lovely lunch. Impressed with the ploughman's and the panini, we were then ready for some retail therapy. The garden centre is huge with plenty of everything for everyone under one roof! Outside, you find the outlet shopping promenade... a whole row of all your favourite names and goods. Once we'd walked to the end on one side and back along the other side, we were ready for a brew and a treat ☕️🍰

I love it here, lovely shops. Lots to look at and buy. Varied shops. All staff I've been served by are polite. There are lots of different cafes and restaurants. Lots of parking as well.

Trentham has a good range of stores and makes for a great afternoon if the weather stays dry. It offers a limited amount of food options but enough to satisfy most peoples hunger. Home and Garden has a large selection of plants, homeware, gifts, snacks and festive ornaments that makes for a nice browse with plenty of tempting items on offer.

Visited the Makers Market today then had a look at the lovely shopping village with lots of unique independent sellers. Well worth a visit.

Lovely shopping area, a good mix of designer and high street prices and a variety of well-known and not so well-known brands. Lovely places to eat or grab a snack, toilets were clean and well-stocked. We were only able to visit for a short period of time but this venue is a great day out if you want to shop and browse at a leisurely pace.

Good choice of shops and products, plenty of parking, enough restaurants for everyone to find somewhere to eat. All the store staff were super friendly.

Car park can get very full very quickly. Also only one entrance and exit so it's not the best experience to begin with. Lovely shops I'm local and been quite a few times. Needs a bit more variety. The crepe shop at the end serves amazing deserts. Toilets are easily accessible. Could maybe do with a few more food outlets. Great for dogs 🐕 and you can access the gardens too.

Trentham shopping village has more than 50 different kind of shops. Cafes, restaurants ,gift shops , cloths and shoes and households. Also has a hotel ( premier inn) It has free parking. Also has facilitate electric charging points includin tesla charge points. Beautiful flower decorations across the shops area. If you will visit, do nt forget to taste the special 🍦 .

This place is maybe aimed at a different generation so please keep that in mind. Some good shops here but a small handful for people like me and my other half. There are a lot of shops but mostly offer the same items which defeats the purpose of a shopping area. It's a lovely little shopping village though! In a nice area just wish there was more shops that appealed to us. Maybe when I'm a little older I'll love some where like this but I'm not quite there yet! I would go back for the wine and cheese shop as they have an amazing selection and the waffle house place as the food there was fantastic.

A nice surprise to find this place. Next to the garden centre, the shopping village has lots of free parking spaces - it was easy to find a spot, even on a busy Sunday. A mix of shops, including independents and high street brands. Good, clean toilet facilities, as well as a selection of places to eat & drink. I'll be returning.

A good number of independent shops and smaller chains that don't usually dot our high streets. The home and garden centre stocks a wide variety of goods. Could do with one more bar/ pub that stays open for longer.

Set next to Trentham Gardens, if you want to visit those, there is the Gardens entrance for which a single adult fee is £13.50 and i think £39 for a family ticket, all set in the heart of the shopping village. If you just want to go just for shopping the shopping village has great branded clothes and outdoor wear including a garden centre etc. The shops are charming and have that European timber lodge feel and look with places to eat and drink. Car parking here is free and in general can make a great day out experience for the whole family.

Great shopping experience. Got lots of Christmas shopping. Very easy to get round. A very pleasant visit.

Atmospheric, especially at Christmas. There are ok establishments and some shops, especially like the tea and whisky shop. But took one star off as the shops aren't really a leg up there and for the most part they're not about anything.

Beautifully restored factory and terraced streets. Factory tour and self-guided tour were very thorough and interesting. The cafe food was tasty, especially the lobby and oat cakes (service isn’t rushed so allow time for this).

Living in Stoke-on-Trent I have visited Middleport Pottery often, and having grown up in Melbourne, Australia, this place is the very essence of the Potteries as I grew up hearing about them... I have brought friends and visitors here, not only to enjoy the historic setting of the traditional potbank with it's bottle oven in the courtyard, but also to enjoy a meal in the cafe. It's a great meeting place, and a lovely spot to wander and for friends visiting from further afield, there are some lovely, hand-made pieces in the shops for them to take home as a quality souvenir of their trip. The cafe is lovely with it's rustic appearance enhanced by the decorations which have their roots in the patterns of the Burleigh ceramics which were once created on this very site. The food is always great quality and the coffee is top notch, which really matters to me! I highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting the area - and if you are a fan of Victorian period dramas, or the reality show, "The Great Pottery Throw Down" you have the knowlege that you are visiting a location which is often filmed for film and TV shows alike.

Rather expensive on the face of it, however there is plenty to look at if you pay to see the areas that are not on the free version of the visit. The free version gives access to much of the site and all the outside areas. Lovely cafe and delicious cakes.

Went to this establishment today mainly to get some food on the way back home. Service was very good, lovely little cafe, quite cheap with some great seating by the side of the canal! Worth a look around at the pottery shops as well, quite a few skilled craftspeople working there. Heritage trail is also good, with some interesting guides. Staff were very helpful with my disabled son. Thank you!

A very Interesting place looking at the heritage of the pottery industry and it's workings. Nice cafe to get a bite to eat and a drink. Also some good bargains in the shop if you are looking for souvenirs or indeed a full dinner set.

We have just had the most wonderful day at Middleport Pottery. Such friendly staff and store keepers. So full of interest, every corner tells a story. Such lovely old buildings, so many lovely old pieces on display, so much history in original documents and order books. It has been fantastic and I can't wait to return! ❤️

We've just been for a visit in August 2023. A really interesting place to see Some lovely little shops where produce is hand crafted. A decent cafe, excellent food with great service.

It is worth coming here just for the cafe alone, which, unluckily for us, is precisely what happened, since by the time we arrived, the factory tour had sold out. But never mind! The pottery itself is located in very picturesque settings and very charming. It is impossible to leave the shop without buying some gorgeous potteryware. Just note that the sign posts for the pottery seem to run out in the last vital minutes of the journey. So be aware that it is located down some back streets.

First time here for there yearly Christmas lights turn on. What an amazing place. Can't believe all the years I have lived in Stoke and I have never been. On the night there were loads of children activities. My son loved it and had an amazing time. There is also lots of independent shops there as well. It's a great place to go for a day for shopping. Definitely be back for some Christmas shopping.

Fascinating place. Stewart, our tour guide did an excellent job of taking us through the history of the pottery, right up to today. This is not just a museum, but a working pottery, encompassed in grade 2A buildings that date from the 1880's. The entire pottery making process can be seen, by observing their very talented craftspeople at work. Excellent restaurant. Well worth a visit. We will be back, as the 5 hours we spent there was just not enough time . Book early !

Great place for a day out. Guided tours and self-guided tours. Still a working pottery and with additional craftspeople, cafe, shop. On the canal. A good day out and can be visited rain or shine.

We went primarily to view the FORTYSEVEN exhibition of bottle oven photos, which was very good and interesting. Many of the shops weren't open which was a shame and it was very quiet. We would like to do a full guided factory tour but this is only available week days. We will hopefully return for this. Had a drink and cake from the cafe, it was delicious and lovely to be able to sit outside by the canalside.

What a lovely experience. Came at a weird time so the shop was closed but we were able to do the heritage self guided tour. You get to see a bottle oven and all sorts of the tools used in the bottle oven. Some of the old equipment used was stored outside and is quite eroded but you can still tell what they were. Cute lil cafe on the grounds and some individual potters studios/galleries too! Great spot! Would recommend a visit!

Crockery made locally, designs are mostly historic, much more subdued designs and colours than Emma Bridgewater. Buildings are on a residential street near the canal. Also there's a very good cafe. Next time - our 3rd visit - we will take the self guided heritage tour. Even without, there's a lot to see down the alleys. We visited thanks to recommendations from Miranda Mills youtube channel

Middleport Pottery Pottery started in 1888 and was featured in the Peaky Blinders. Home of Burleigh Pottery. Follow trails or join a factory tour. Even has a workers terraced house. Interesting place, worth a visit. Next time will do the factory tour.

Spent a lovely afternoon wandering round the heritage trail at my own pace. It's imaginatively laid out and there's lots of information about this important part of British industrial history.

An extremely well-organised part of the Heritage Trail. A most enjoyable group visit with both guides and video commentary. Sympathetically preserved, and still-working/producing World famous pottery. Great insight into both the manufacturing process and historical background. On-site facilities include numerous WC facilities, lifts to all public-access floors of the building, and a well-appointed café for snacks. Our group was supplied with a satisfying lunch, halfway through the visit. There are a number of artisanal outlets within the complex, and a factory shop as well. Step into yester-year and enjoy an informative and enlightening few hours in this wonderful amenity.

I absolutely loved it here! Loads of history and it was great to immerse myself in it. The first couple of series' of The Great Pottery Throwdown were filmed here...the show that started my love for pottery and the reason for my visit. It would be nice to have a few more potter's work for sale though.

We went for the self led clay making experience and had a look around whilst we were in there. This was the first time we've been and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of history to learn about, lovely little cafe right on the canal also.

Looks very dated as soon as you enter.. but get past that and there's actually loads to see in the museum. Make sure you visit all 3 floors. We went in and did the middle floor and top and nearly didn't go downstairs and would have missed the spitfire and newer area. A great museum, it's free to enter but recommended to give a donation. You can do it by contactless. Worth a visit.

What a great day out. We had a guided tour taking in the history of the potteries. Great buildings, very interesting tales of peoples lives and work around the potteries. Had a wonderful lunch and then had a go at making a pot. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend it as a day out.

Took my Grandson to see the carboniferous monsters exhibition and stayed for the day. He couldn't believe we are lucky enough to have such a gem in our own area. He loved the exhibition as did we, and he wanted to see some Wedgwood....they'd learned about it in school. He absolutely loved the spitfire, and our family connection to it. My late Father, put the spitfire in the original glass house site and then put it into its old place in the museum. ( He was a crane driver and did the lifts, Longton Crane Hire) we had a very full day, and he was thrilled with the collection of wildlife and came home with a plasticine picture, one of the activities on offer. We had coffee and cake in the cafe which was lovely and the staff, even though under a lot of pressure due to the sheer number of customers, were excellent, friendly and helpful. Wonderful day out. He loved the art gallery too.

Spitfire Gallery is excellent. Interactive displays, movies, sectioned Merlin engine, cannon. Teaching facilities with plenty of space and light for large numbers of people. A first class resource for all ages

This place is free for everyone interested in the stories about potteries made in the area and also about the life in Stoke on Trent. From Romans to the present it is amazingly showed in plenty of interesting exhibitions. I typically liked the Nature one with sounds and visual effects, showing the different habitats in the area and the animals and insects. Great idea to bring in the children to this place. There is cafe and small souvenirs shop. I highly recommend this place.

Brilliant It was really nice to walk around it was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful the funny thing is that when I was younger and at school some of the exhibits on show now we're on show then not in this Museum but the old one ( we are talking the 60s) one thing I couldn't see was the huge wooden wheel driven by steam I would think, can't remember what it was used for but going by the size of it it was for more than one thing probably a shaft, I remember other things such as the large pot in the entrance close to the Museum shop then there was the coffin plus it's lid made from stone along with some other things, there are few things from the Coal Miners strike back in the 80s at the time I was a coal miner working underground at Hem Heath Colliery in Trentham. And a special mention to the Spitfire standing in its own room Designed by R G. Mitchell never actually saw it fly in the second World War as he passed away just before it started so he never knew how well his Spitfire performed during the war. Can I suggest during this summer holiday you go and have a look around YOUR museum and see it all for yourself.

Visited this museum on 27 April 2024. Entry is free and the lower ground floor has a cafe. Friendly staff and the entire museum is self explanatory. You will get to see the history of Staffordshire coal mines , early industry. Worth visiting in weekend

Excellent local museum - some nice art representing many periods, a bit of history, and an extensive collection documenting the potteries in the area. Take some time and read some of the documentation in the potteries collection. Interesting things to learn there!

Liked looking around at the various exhibits. The cafe food & drinks were very good, well worth a visit.

Well worth a visit. A very good range of pottery history and the Staffodshire Hoard to boot! Could easily spend 2-3 hours just browsing. Maybe a day if you have a strong interest.

Great place to go for any age group. Full of the history of Stoke on Trent . Love the face they have work sheets and maps for children to explore. A cafe that opens approximately 11am Never seems too busy . Staff that are so friendly and helpful. Amazing Spitfire with its history. Lots of school parties go see the various real animals that have been stuffed and in their own habitat. Most people haven’t seen some of the animals so closely. There are lifts or stairs to that can be used. There is an auditorium that you can go to watch films , have meetings. Would give it 5 stars if there was a car park attached to it. There is one for disabled but never any spaces for those that aren’t. Definitely worth a visit and they do change some of the artwork and artefacts in there . I have been here many times and had many visits here over the years on my own and with my family.

A really underappreciated place, I've lived in Stoke my whole life and only just been to the local museum. Deceivingly big once you get inside, staff were very welcoming. The pottery collection is amazing, The Staffordshire Hoard is very well displayed with an interactive part that the kids enjoyed And the Spitfire! So much local history on your doorstep, go!

Really lovely little local museum, the Staffordshire hoard is absolutely beautiful and worth visiting just to see that! There is an art gallery on the top floor and a spitfire on the lower floor and plenty of ceramics and taxidermy to enjoy. There is a cafe, plenty of disabled toilets and supports, and a cafe too which you can bring your own lunch to. There is a nice grassy area outside for picnics in nicer weather.

Very interesting museum with free entry covering local history, natural history and of course ceramics. All fully accessible with lifts and step free access from the street. Admission is free, but a donation should be made. There is a well stocked shop and cafe on the lower floor, next to a full size Spitfire. A great way to spend a damp afternoon.

Lovely afternoon for Chinese New year event. Such effort put in and the museum looks better than ever. I'm 35 and still love to go here. The Spitfire exhibit really does it justice and lovely staff too.

We had a fantastic time for Chinese New year. Still love the nostalgia feel of this museum, I spent a lot of time here as a child. There's been so much thought and effort put in for exhibitions and events. Lovely

Went specifically to see the Stafford Hoard, which was amazing, but enjoyed the rest of the museum too. Lovely coffee shop next to the spitfire. Excellent coffee & gluten free bakewell tart to die for!!!. All they asked was a donation of £2 each !! So we gave 3 times

Lovely railway which has lots of potential. Had great ride from Froghall to the end and back. Train was clean and staff were all dressed in period clothes which was nice to see. The countryside views are fantastic. There has been a lot of work on the route and buildings which has been great to see. Only negative thing is the tea room and the shop at the station. My wife and I felt that the selection of food was somewhat limited and the shop was poorly stocked. However don't let this detract from a great heritage railway and the work that they are doings

Amazing experience for adults and children. Beautifully done. The staff amazing, the staff on the vending ie food could do with a little work as they got flustered very easily and wasn't out to please any customers. May be having a bad day. The experience its self was wonderful and we will be back. The only suggestion I have is you state that booking v.i.p you revieve a bell cup and bag, and yes we got the bell and the cup but the bag was between 4 people that should be stated upon booking, or there should be 4 bags. We will be back as the experience its self was amazing 👏

Had a lovely relaxing day riding on the train. Very friendly, pleasant & helpful staff. Enjoyed reading the booklet about the railway. The speaker announcements were very informative, with good safety advice when approaching a station. Unexpected breakfast baps & drinks offered on the first train;- I must have missed that info on the website! On the other train trip, I was offered alcohol, but I opted for a cuppa as I was driving. The real fires in both the tea room and shop are very welcoming. Excellent day, please thank all the volunteers for making it that way. Will return quite soon. NB Shame the old type cardboard train tickets are not issued like other heritage railways do, as I like them as nostalgic souvenirs.

Great preserved railway, think they run steam and diesel but the train we were on was a steam one, good facilities at Froghall station where our trip started, lasted around 2 hours, they also run dinner services which we intend to try at some point in the future. A nice way to sample a little bit of British heritage

This is like a step back in time. A fantastic steam train, beautiful station, cafe and shop. The friendly staff were very helpful. You have 2 trains which allows you to get off for a pub lunch from one and catch one later to carry on and return. There's 4 stations it stops at I think. We stayed on for the whole journey which took about 2hr 20min. Some stops don't have much there. The train had about 8 carriages with a breakfast carriage. The whistle is very loud and the steam billows away. There's some good views too. Take a packed lunch or buy in the shop. This was a great experience and not expensive at all. Brilliant few hours

A lovely day out on the Churnet Valley Railway and it is clear they have ambitious plans for expansion. The staff were lovely and the rolling stock clean and comfortable. The views are worth the ride. Good facilities on the trains and at stations en route. My only challenge would be the timetabling. If you want to get off the train and see some of the sights mentioned in the guide you really need to take the early service and then wait to continue on the later service, if you want to see the whole route. Maybe sandwiching an extra, diesel hauled, service would provide passengers with more options, but I appreciate it’s down to volunteer availability and cost. Overall though a recommended day out.

Did the steam train with Sunday lunch experience and it was amazing! Food is tasty and huge portions; happy to cater to weird tastes too! Staff are so welcoming, friendly and make it fun! Seeing inside the engine room was so fun!! Excellent for all ages (I am 37 and found it magical) and solo person or families!

Full marks go the Churnet Valley Railway for organising a great experience for adults and children alike. The publicity machine you have is excellent. From ticket purchase through to arriving by car at the well signposted car park was first class. Organising coach by coach embarkation, was slick,and whilst waiting on the platform for the train was magical and full of suspense. Acting on the train was well produced with authenticity and enthusiasm. Santa at the North Pole with scenery on platform was unique and well portrayed. Would highly recommend but book your tickets early.

I stopped into the station just for a quick coffee and didn't go on the railway on this occasion. I was very surprised as I was sitting there to see an American locomotive! After looking on their website I discovered that there is a nice eclectic mix of locos at the railway from the US and a believe Poland which is a bit of a change to the usual British locos at a heritage railways so I will definitely be returning for a trip in the future.

Warmly welcomed on board where we experienced a fantastic breakfast dining experience pulled by steam. The produce is locally sourced and tasted great, really enjoyed the extra oak cake ! The journey takes you through the beautiful countryside of the Staffordshire valleys and moorlands. If visiting for the first time, recommend you start your journey at Froghall and Kingsley station where there’s a large free car park. You may find parking more difficult at the other stations along the line, specially if it’s busy.

What a fabulous place, highly recommended, nothing is too much trouble, clean toilets with hot water to wash with, not sure if food is available at the moment wonderful steam engine to look at a must place to visit for all steam fans, the station staff bent over backwards to help,

I lovely little train ride with pleasent views and friendly staff. We went for the breakfast experience and I would recommend it to anyone. I very much felt like we had gone back to a bye gone era, imagining Hercule Poirot to walk through the carriage at any moment. With other experiences available, including Sunday dinner, and a polar express for Christmas, we will definitely be back.

What an amazing day. So helpful from first messaging right up to the gift shop. The whole experience is one that everyone should experience. Had an cream tea experience, lovely dinning carriage, amazing scones and cakes. Staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Excellent hidden little gem of a place. I visited for the Real Ale Train experience, where at every station you alighted to a small beer festival at each place to sample the selection of ales. Consal Forge stop featured a Marquee with a stage and several acts that got you swaying to and fro while supping your beer. Its great to travel up and down the line with a ticket £8.50 for the day and sampling an great range of beer.

My wife & I visited this place today for a 3 course Saturday lunch on board a 1945 steam train 🚂. What a fantastic experience from start to finish 👏 We couldn't have picked a better day (weather wise 🌞) The whole experience is like going back in time to the 1950s all the staff which may I add are volunteers wore period clothes that match the era, they all looked great & were extremely polite & helpful. From showing us to our table & serving us from start to finish with impeccable manners they all should be extremely proud of themselves. The 3 course meal was superbly served & was beautifully cooked 😋 👌 Thank you. The whole experience lasted approximately 2 & half hours. We loved everything about this experience, the place, the steam train journey & the beautiful food & wine 🍷 We will definitely be back & would highly recommend 👌 👍 👍👍👍👍

We took a trip on the Bombay Express. It was amazing. The food was amazing, we were seated in the first class carriage and the seats were really comfy. Prices for the drinks were really decent as well. Not overly priced at all. The food was delicious, and plenty of food. We went on a lovely train ride which was around 2 hours 30minutes. It was brilliant. Will definitely be doing it again.

Great experience, very entertaining throughout, the chefs are great characters. Santa talks to everyone and makes sure he has enough time with each family. The whole polar express trip was magical

Excellent preserved railway steam gala; one of the few places you can see steam locomotives being worked hard on the climb to Ipstones, which is spectacular. Catering on the line is also excellent from my two visits, including doing the dining trains. Staff very friendly and it’s a beautiful line.

Extremely well organised Polar Express event. A thoroughly enjoyable experience for the whole family. A must visit festive venue. Will now keep our eye out for other events at Churnet Valley Railway throughout the year.

Highly recommend trip. We had a lovely breakfast on the 2 hour ride through the Staffordshire countryside. Very comfortable seats and well looked after by the volunteers. Nice cafe and shop at Froghall station. With interesting historic items on show. We will definitely be coming again.

Absolutely brilliant B day treat. Good weather service on train excellent, the meal ,could not fault it. I recomend it for any steam enthusiast.

Had the Sunday lunch in the first class coach (had to book), it was amazing, highly recommend. The train looked good, but the volunteers and staff were awesome. We will be back.

Amazing experience - afternoon tea on board an old (but extremely comfortable) steam locomotive, sipping prosecco and enjoying views of the local countryside and railway stations as they were back in the day. Highly recommended.

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party was utterly bizarre, amusing, and special. My 4yr old son hasn't stopped talking about how much he liked "that funny man" and how he wants to go again. Special thanks to all the cast who really got into character and made it a memorable experience. My son was initially scared of the Queen of Hearts because "what if I annoy her?" but when she came and spoke to him she was really nice and reassured him without breaking character (although my dad had been saving the jam tart she took off him 🤣). Well done everyone!

Booking ticket via website is quite straightforward, you can choose standard seating or dining seating with afternoon tea or 3course meals etc. When you arrive at the station, free car park, checked in at desk. It was just disappointed the printed ticket system was down and cant do it automatically by yourself which can be as a collector for railway ticket. The cafe and toilet at platform level, the coffee was absolutely delicious and those two elderly ladies were so attentively serving and kind to advise where the train head in and out direction. Whole journey was a bit bored and time table was not exactly like the website sceeen. At first we would be thinking can get off each stops platform and take a walk since 20mins of waiting regulating time but ended up with no getting down. The standard seating area had no heating so mind you if during winter early spring time. The train worker was so patient to explain how train roll and ride on rail, fennel and the stopping break functional, air duct and vacuum. Thanks. All in all, it was a unique experience for my little one who loves train a lot.

Brilliant production from Aussie Pink Floyd, (see video clips), but utterly shambolic organisation by the theatre. We were told to be there at 6.30pm, but we were crammed like sardines into the Rear Stalls foyer on the 1st floor like sardines until 7.15. It was sweltering hot, and my disabled friend nearly keeled over. So much for the "Covid precautions" they were boasting about. Not impressed at all with the lack of staff either - one for the whole level.

Went last week with my mum, who is in her 80's, staff and place was brilliant , we really enjoyed the show, my only niggle, would be only 1 disabled toilet downstairs, not sure about upstairs,

I do like the Regent. Plenty of nearby parking options and a short walk to the theatre. Drinks are overpriced, especially for Stoke-on-Trent, however there is the added bonus of getting your interval drinks in advance. We had stalls seats 4 rows from the front and the view and sound was superb. Bat out of Hell was an excellent show and we are back at the Regent for Bill Bailey in a couple of weeks. Which is another point. It lands some really good artists and shows and is much easier to get to than Manchester!

Attending staff were gracious and incredibly helpful, the theatre was clean and the show (Six) was absolutely incredible!!! This was enhanced by fabulous acoustics, brilliant lighting and a superb live band. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍

We are doing Dirty Dancing at The Regent Theatre here. Google Maps has it about .1 of a mile north of here. It is actually 39 Piccadilly, walking only. The stage door is right just around the corner from the punter’s entrance. The theatre itself is beautiful and fantastically equipped. Lots of backstage space and great sight lines. The acoustic is excellent and audiences are completely engaged. This is my favourite theatre so far on the tour. I’m certainly getting my exercise walking the Stoke-on-Trent hills!

Absolutely amazing night watching Luther Live tribute act. This was the best tribute act I've seen. The theatre itself has very comfortable seating & all the staff are welcoming & friendly. Fab place to see any show.

First time at the Regent but really impressed. Comfortable theatre with comfortable bar before the show. AddamsFamily the musical was brilliant and really seemed to suit the Regent as you could see the band in all their glory as well as the wonderful cast

Fabulous theatre. Comfy seat. The Dirty Dancing Show was incredible. We chose the Ambassador Lounge package too and Estelle was the most perfect host. Friendly, knowledgeable and respectful with a smile on her face at all times. She is an asset to the theatre. Thank you

We went to see ' The Ocean at the end of the Lane' - wow! It was amazing! Well done to the Regent for showing this, I hope it will return!

Beautiful building. Easily accessible from the street but taxis have to stop down the road due to pedestrian zone. Worth knowing if in a wheelchair.

Went to see Aussie Pink Floyd. Excellent show. Drinks expensive, ushers could be friendlier, just seem stressed. Great building and comfortable seats. Did I mention the drink prices? £6.40 for a water and a Pepsi Max. C'mon. You must realise this is ridiculous!

Saw Jesus Christ Superstar on Friday, which was excellent. The venue is nice and spacious in the foyers. Toilets clean and seem well maintained. We used the bar in the main foyer, which was a tad expensive, but that's to be expected nowadays. The auditorium is well ventilated and the seats were quite comfortable. An enjoyable night.

Went here to go see 'SIX' and was great atmosphere and clean and tidy place. Would recommend to go again and to all. First time of actaully going a Theatre properly and was perfect!

Been here lot's of times always find the staff friendly and welcoming. Love the productions. It's great to have such a wonderful theatre on our doorstep ☺️

I went with my daughter last night to see Paul smith but unfortunately we got scammed with our two tickets for a birthday treat for myself and the staff were disgusting how they spoke and treated us we felt criminals they never gave us the option to buy other seat as there was plenty vacant and we had family and friends with us we all booked our tickets together so I don't understand why we had to leave as there ticket were fine with a living crisis at the moment and people struggling they could of come up with a alternative shocking customer service and the bloke on the booking deck looking down at us I suggest the management learn there staff some people skills I rate you 1/10

We went to see the panto, which is a family thing we do every year. 11 of us. The regent theatre is a lovely place been to it many times for different shows. Bar can be a bit expensive, but possibly same prices as other places.

If you are looking for top of the range pottery don't look any further. Nice exhibition and place to buy first class poetry...the ones used by the Royal family as I understand. You have also a nice bar and workshop (needs booking) in the building. Around also an outlet with discounted prices and others bars open up to 11pm. Surely a must visit if you are around Stoke.

An amazing morning with a highly informative tour of the museum with many insights into the history of the company and its founders. Prices were reasonable and parking plentiful

The factory tour is very interesting and well worth booking for your visit. Would recommend the restaurant, food and service excellent. A great day out

Unbelievable collection and historical timeliness of the wedgewood family and various businesses. Make sure you have had a good sleep as you will get information overload!! There is a shop and great cafe where you are served tea and cake on wedgewood service ware. Free parking as well

WOW! What a fantastic time, the displays are amazing and loads of information to help you understand how the process evolved and how life influences changed considerably over time. The skills that started earlier are still evident even now. Well worth the time.

This was not as enjoyable as other museums of pottery nearby. Lots of items on show, but not presented in a hugely engaging way. Would have liked more dates on the objects to better understand pieces, and ideally a highlights tour sheet to make the huge scale less overwhelming.

We held my beautiful daughter in laws baby shower here! It was absolutely wonderful! Lovely afternoon. They gave us the ‘snug’ to ourselves which was perfect. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Excellent service which made us feel really special.

Great museum taking us through a comprehensive journey of wedgewood. We enjoyed see the evolution of the pottery industry and how Joseph change the world and creation of beautiful chinaware.

A brilliant collection in a well laid out museum hall. Very informative and interesting. Will be back in the near future for another visit

Had an experience day there and loved every minute of it. Highlight was the afternoon tea. Every one there was very pleasant. Great value day out.

Nice ground. Love 3 sides of it but not sure about the 4th. Been here twice and had a good time with 6 points. Inside the ground said "No alcohol will be served at half time" however, in both cases it was served. Good awayday for any football fan.

The stadium is far from transportation. We walked 40 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent station to reach it. The stadium area is large, nice, and clean. Access is very easy with electronic tickets. There are snack stands offering burgers and fries around the stadium. Inside the bleachers, it was good; we were in front of the field, allowing a clear view of the players. The match and the atmosphere with supporter songs were enjoyable. The stadium was not full for this match.

Had a great day visiting the potters, we don't watch a lot of football but grateful we giving the chance go have to the waddington suite, Have the 3 course meal a couple of drinks, mid match coffee and an after match mini pie We really did enjoy the day and the atmosphere was amazing. It is something we are looking at doing going forward to next season Always great support local team and they played millwall and won Not saying we good look but 9 games lost and won this one So great news off the losing streak Highly recommend and see you soon

Lovely stadium, good atmosphere. Stoke fans might be the biggest moaners I have ever watched a match with! The referee, the opposition, their own players, their manager - you name it, 90 minutes of complaining. They seemed to be enjoying it though, so fair enough

Very good experience watching football at the stadium. Entry was easy , and finding a seat wasn't difficult. Each stand and row is numbered. Has two TV screens, which only show score during the match. It would be great if they could show the last goal replay on the screens. Parking is difficult at in and out as thousands of spectators come out at the same time. If you are local, it is probably better to use a taxi or park half a mile away from the stadium and walk.

A decent stadium. I walked along the canal from and to the station. It’s not really well lit (there are dim spotlights in the ground) so the walk back in the dark wasn’t ideal. It took about half an hour each way. Apparently there’s a shuttle bus from the city centre. Programmes are readily available outside the ground. The view from the seat was good, close to the pitch, in the away end corner by the players’ tunnel. The stadium seemed half empty. The big stand to my left was literally virtually empty. It was very cold and the side to my left was open so it was exposed. The food was OK, it was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly. Overall it was a decent Cup away day.

Great days out with my dad who had taken me to watch Stoke City since I was 8 yr old. Now I'm nearly 60 and still a Stoke fan

Visited today for the Ladies match against WBA. On arrival there was a long queue for those purchasing tickets on the day. However having purchased tickets online it was an easy check in with a steward walking up the queue checking tickets and bags. This was useful as those with tickets on their phone were directed to a different gate, which made it quicker and smoother. For this match we sat in the Franklyn Stadium. As the ends are not enclosed, even on the warm days, this area can be breezy and chilly. It's a nice stadium with good views from all points. The halftime refreshment area was busy but the queues were well managed with additional staff doing the running for those at the till. The selection was good. We were served quickly and efficiently with 2 pies and a Bovril. The price was just under £10. Overall it was a good afternoon out, all staff were polite, friendly and efficient.

Great stadium and an amazing atmosphere wonderful support systems and security. On site parking is little to be desired can take up to an hour to get in and out due to only one entrance and exit existing for both car parks. This leads to a mass of parking congesting local residential neighbourhoods which leads to again, congestion attempting to leave the area after matchday. Either way the stadium is fairly modern and has good wheelchair access, eatery facilities and toilets. However some main paths lack stewards after matches which can lead to some incidents of pushing and shoving nothing major I've experienced in the handful of times I've been to watch the mighty potters

As a stoke fan this is God's garden, best place on earth imo However not much to do before the match unless you want to buy a car or have a beer In The local decent facilities here and plenty of burger vans, pies and chips but nothing more than that oh and the odd oatcakes, teas coffees hot chocolates limited sweets and soft drinks but all a bit above the shops to be expected tho, How ever the staff need some costomer service and the stewards are questionable there is some decent ones especally on my block they are fab Well worth a visit to watch some footy especally when kids for a quid is on the kids can watch some footy live instead of on fifa

My son had tickets for the Brighton game in Stanley Mathews suite with food and drinks then went out side to watch the game sitting in comfy seats .not been in this side if the ground as we've always been boothen Ender's Loved every minute of it despite stoke losing , really enjoyed it .
