Really nice part of the city. Very old and well preserved. Most of the restaurants that we loved are here. There is a clock that is truly impressive

Lovely part of the old town, small, narrow cobbled streets lined with small cafés and shops. We went during winter, but we imagine it would of looked even better in the summer sunshine!

It’s a nice historical place where you can see the old German architecture from mediaeval period. Just keep your expectations are low before going there. It’s kinda small area.

A pleasant walk between small houses painted in colors and having some small ornaments, sculptures, statues in between. It's the details that make it interesting, but you should also dive in the small street leading from central square/Roland to the river. It also has interesting surprises.

A place to dive into historic narrow streets of old Bremen. Tourist attraction, nice artisan shops, street musicians or some a bit quitter areas - anyone can find something just for his/her liking.

Funny and colourful houses are around this little area, a few shops are selling kinda strange or funky stuffs, also you can find several cafes where you can sit and have a drink to relax.

You have to see it for yourself, photos only make it look quaint, being there in person makes you realize just how special it really is! It seems to always be busy except for between midnight and 7:00 a.m., there are always people walking and exploring, it's a special place!

Super cute nieghborhood with medieval or for Harry Potter fans Hogsmead vibe 😊 While I was wandering the streets I felt like I time travelled to another century. The area definitely well preserved. I went there on the weekend. It was crowded and be mind that some streets are real narrow. But I can easily say that this is a must see place when you're visiting Bremen. For some Lucky moment I get to capture the streets empty, hope you like them 😊

The time spent here was amazing. It was like I've travelled through time. The narrow cobblestone path and beautiful tiny buildings of medieval architecture makes this place the attraction of Bremen. I revival of the memories back 36 years ago when I visited these figures. Everything is nice in place the quality of place and the beauty has increased considerably except the service quality around in Germany which has unfortunately not picked up until now.

The stars of Bremen and situated within the town hall. There are restaurants to dine in in and around the area, as well as the St Catherine's Church nearby. Gift shops are also a stone throw away for those looking to buy gifts for friends and family.

Beautiful city hall however the inside can be only viewed with 7EUR tour, in German only, didn't see any options for English speaking tour so didn't go for it.

Very beautiful building going back to the 15th century. Unluckily it can only be visited with a guided tour which must be booked through Deutsches Tourismus.

Located in the historic center of city, it was constructed in the early of 15th century and renovated several times. It is renowned for its ornate facade which features intricate stone carvings demonstrating various scenes and figures. The interior contains grand halls and chambers adorned with elaborate decoration. The Town Hall is now iconic landmark and historical and cultural significance in this country.

Beautiful old city hall building with numerous amazing details. It's an example of the Weser Renaissance architecture. Together with the Roland statue is a part of the UNESCO World Herritage. There are some guided tours inside the city hall but I didn't visited them. The city hall is located on the main city square - Marktplatz and it's always very crowded. Also, just near the building there is a famous Town Musicians of Bremen sculpture, and from the other side - big gothic Bremen Cathedral.

The entrance of this place remains a mystery for me to-date. We entered somewhere we shouldn't I believe? A man behind glass said something in german that the entrance is around. No clear signage anywhere. Building is nice to see from the outside though.

The Bremen City Hall is the seat of the President of the Senate and Mayor of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. It is definetely one of the most important examples of Brick Gothic and Weser Renaissance architecture in Europe.

This was a great square to see. Historical European style buildings but without the massive crowds. Love this city, such a pleasant surprise. I really don’t know how this isn’t a more visited place.

Was absolutely stunning! There was also a free museum which was lovely, however almost all of the explanations were only in German, which makes sense, but just meant that we went quite quickly through the museum. No complaints here! Was lovely would recommend coming!

Free entrance for church and museum! Church is wonderful. Spent a little more than 2 hours there and had the chance to stay for the noon mass. Museum is well made, interesting and home to multiple ancestral fabrics and clothing pieces (first time seeing authentic clothes from bishops). I would have appreciated more texts in English in the museum.

Very big old gothic church with tall towers. The cathedral is dark in colors and has a bit dark atmosphere inside it as well. That's why I didn't feel comfortable there. From the right to the cathedral entrance there is a very interesting Bible garden with plants mentioned in the Bible. Just near the entrance there is an equestrian statue of Bismarck.

Worth visit due to acoustic exposure! Often concert venues makes occasions to experience magnificent sound inside. Music organs makes this place more Philharmonic than a church or cathedral. Usually paid entry. Toilet inside.

Beautiful and full of history! I enjoyed examining all the art inside, stone statues, and the doors of the Dom. I think it’s a must-see sight in Bremen, although it is very hard to miss. I would recommend attending any event they have there, such as the Bremer Orgelsommer! Even walking around inside and sitting on a pew is very peaceful.

Historical and beautiful. Mass was in German, and though I am not fluent, I could feel the message. St. Petri Dom is a sight to be seen. The Priest spoke with a way that invoked me to reflect upon my family and my life. It is truly a meaningful, beautiful, and historical place to worship.

Hanza Bremen, a beautiful German city on the River Vezer, deserves to visit it because it reflects a spirit that will make you fall in love with it. Tradition, culture and lifestyle are special and so carefully preserved and simply attract you to explore it. Beautiful streets, parks, historic buildings are at every step. Be sure to try local traditional dishes and beers. You will enjoy the time you spent in this beautiful city.

Very nice museum. We were a bit doubtful to enter or not because we saw a lot of kids haha and we were a couple of adults, but it is no problem!!! The museum is very didactic and fun for all ages. 3 floors of things to see, learn and play with. Totally recommend 👍🏻

Amazing architecture in a very strategic place, into the lake, although we didn’t go inside but it was a very beautiful place to visit.

This museum was the highlight of our trip. If you're a geek or have an insatiable curiosity for all aspects of life, particularly nature, the human body, and technology, then you're bound to adore this place. It's an interactive museum where you can experiment with your own hands, delving into the realms of physics and scientific laws. We felt like kids again, rediscovering the world as if it were our first time.

Excellent experience with kids, they are illustrating complicated science with simple and practical model. Many kids rushed around to having fun with understanding the scientific knowledge at the background. Either enriching your knowledge or just having fun, don’t miss the earth quake experience unit at 3rd floor and the lever of car at the entrance. Enjoy!

Excellent museum for the family. Everything is hands on so it's a lot of fun trying everything out. The special exhibit on space travel and the ISS was also well worth checking out. We spent pretty much a whole day (10am to 5pm). The restaurant was fine, they even had some vegan options but not particularly healthy food. Mostly burgers & chips.

The most BORING place in the world. Two stars because we weren't able to get tickets for 6 Euro for 1 hour 30 mins visit. The guy @ their front desk recommended to come back at 16:30 in order for us to be able to buy 6 Euros tickets. So we got 18 Euros tickets that cover a full day visit. However, there's nothing to do the whole day!!!! The most boring museum in our life. If you have better things to do in Bremen, stay away from this place. Would never recommend it and never ever be back.

A visit to this adventure exhibition is a must when in Bremen. Especially interesting for children. Many experiments and experiments are developed for the younger ones to understand. A 110 m long lane with very distinctive architecture in red brick and influences from Art Deco. It is full of shops, cafes, galleries and - tourists. This narrow street starts from the main square in Bremen's old town. Be sure to check out hidden corners for some sculptures and nice building decorations.

A very unique street. There are many different sculptures, shops with very interesting goods. If you are in Bremen, you definitely need to visit it.

We took an early dinner at the mill to catch the train back to Hamburg. A bit sad that the 2nd level is closed off. A bit of miscommunication here and there; corona became kola. Food was okay but nothing to be amazed at. With such a great location, things could have been better.

I always like this kind of restored places, it makes me feel relax and happy when I sit there.... We didn't enjoyed as much as we imagined because of so many bees flying around 😅 But this cafe looks so cool and I'd like to visit it one more time if I visit Bremen !!

Food: 3, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5 Lovely location and a varied menu. Also friendly service. However, the food was a mixed bag, perhaps because the current venue is still new and discovering itself? Some comments to consider. The portions are of great size, not too much or too little. The bread starter was tasty, particularly the bread, but was quite expensive for what it offered. It had too much butter. The vegan labskaus was great on all accounts. The hanseatenschmaus on the other hand, was a very 'disconnected' dish. The egg, shrimp, eel, potatoes and salad were separate on the plate and without any noticeable special herbs or spices. If you like the natural taste of the separate parts, you're good, but it did not feel like anything special for a regional dish - perhaps it's meant like this? We didn't take any desserts. The lemonades offered were nice.

I’ve always wanted to try this place because the location seems great. It seems in the establishment you mostly pay for the location because the food price/quality wasn’t on par with what i was expection. We’ve ordered the mulle spritz, lillet wild berry, mulle labskaus and the shnitzel. Let’s just say for the price of 93 euros in total this wasn’t worth it. I have eaten better shnitzel and better labskaus around bremen for a lot less money. The presentation was really nice. So all in all i would say you pay for the location and for the presentation but not the taste of the food. The service people were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.

We had the classic Bremen Knipp with classic Kräusen beer. Food was tasty and quickly prepared, which was important as we needed to catch a train. The price was surprisingly affordable considering the nice view.

I went for Sunday brunch, but I think I won't come back again for it. Coffee or hot drinks are not included on the brunch buffet (nobody warned me previously about it and I did not see it writen anywhere). No hot drinks refill option. No pastry options (no cakes, no cookies, no croissants). If you arrive later than 10:45 you won't find some of the plates since they are not refilled. Nice staff, but who attended me did not speak English.

We ordered Apfelstrudel in Beck’s Mühle where we thought was the best place to eat it. But it was a total disapointment. The dessert was cold and tasteless. They put a cream by its side, which we believe something readymade bought from the supermarket. The atmosphere was relaxing, though. The service was okey.

I knew very little about the Bremen Roland, but I am glad I got to see it. I was very interested to learn more about this important monument. I was amazed to find it was from 1404 and at the time symbolized some very progressive thinking! It confronts the church as a representation of city rights opposed to the territorial claims of the prince-archbishop, and symbolizing civic liberty and freedom!!! Very cool 😎

We visited Bremen on our recent cruise, we stopped off at the port of Bremerhaven and got a train in. The old part of the city was incredible, even in a grey cold winters day. The Bremen Roland stood tall in the main square. Picturesque buildings surrounding it.

This was first I visited in Germany 36 years ago and the memory came back. The service quality has unfortunately not have improved since them. Most of them still go to Ratskeller to laugh

This is a beautiful part of the city to experience as it has such incredible architecture. There is a real still feeling hear and all you can do is admire the many great works . You can spend a good few hours looking at this section of the city in detail and enjoy a nice meal in some of the many restaurants and cafes.

The Weinachtsmarkt located around this area is an extenisve array of all things related to the Traditional Christmas Market. There are a number of vendors offering an array of foods, drinks and small items to be purchased and taken home. There are a number of vendors catering for candles of various types and materials in addition to all things to effectively cater for the traditional Christmas meals. The market is located in front of the Rathaus and extends through to the Weser River. This is a great place to visit however in winter, dressing warmly with well insulated shoes is a must as it gets very unpleasant should you not be well prepared for the weather.

The different themes are nice, but there is a lack of English explainations. 80% of the explainations are in German only. Some of the displayed pieces are interesting, but we had to use google translate to understand the information besides them.

The Oceania part is under construction until winter 24/25, but plenty of other things to see. Very calm and almost no visitors. Most information was only available in German, but at some places there were signs in English as well. Still worth a visit.

It is a small but very nice museum with one minute walking distance from Bremen main train station. There is an Antarctic exhibition on the show at the moment to April. It is also really good for kids. If you happen to be in Bremen you should never miss this museum ;)

Loved visiting this museum as a kid. Its massive and varied collection of artefacts continues to fascinate. However, on my recent visit after many years, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of context on the colonial origins and histories of items. Some displays were quite outdated, providing stereotypical descriptions of a homogenous Asian or African ‘other’, while some of the information provided, such as depicting the impact of colonization through the clothing of Herero women while failing to mention the genocide against their people, left me aghast. Various beautiful objects in the permanent collection were also covered in a thick layer of dust. It’s clear that the museum, like many others, urgently needs to confront its colonial legacy and review/reimagine the way it contextualizes exhibits. I'm hopeful that the ongoing renovation might contribute to just that.

A perfect place to take a stroll in the evening. The colourful and fragrant blooms of trees in spring and the sunlight filtering through the branches all create a visually stunning experience. Those rocky built ups here and there with lichens and mosses are adorable. It's always a surprise! Every visit brings something new and unexpected to me. Truly a beautiful place!

Rhododendronpark is one of its kind in Bremen, definitely the best time to visit is on the months of April and Mai, when the summer is starting and all the rhododendros are flowering. The display of colours make the visit really beautiful. They are also a lot of places to walk and take a sit to enjoy the view or even take a coffee.

It's absolutely amazing! My family and I were amazed and delighted by this magnificence. I sincerely and kindly envy the locals who are able to walk here every day, all year round! Thank you to the garden staff.

Even in winter it was very pleasant to walk through the park. The bushes were covered with closed buds, just waiting for spring so they could open, the air was fragrant and the park was peaceful. The paths and gardens are well maintained and the variety of rhododendron was astounding.

I just love Kunsthalle. Every now and then when I have free time or have to work or study, I go there. Coffee is always good. I enjoy my flat white. Also Mohna Lisa cake is amazing. There’s a book store. Every kind of book. If you are an art lover you’ll find the book store amazing. The Sunset Exhibition was amazing as well.

I had the privilege of admiring works by Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne, and Picasso. The collection on display from the 14th century to the present day, predominantly featuring West European art. We recently visited the Bremen Kunsthalle with a large group from Bremen Universität. Our guide, a very kind and knowledgeable lady, presented the artworks with great passion and insight, though I believe such detailed presentations may be exclusive to group visits. I absolutely recommend visiting for anyone looking to explore the rich art and culture on display here.

I was here attending the exhibition named Icons. It was very good in fact. Many beautiful exhibits, some of them are very famous in fact, they are definitely worth to be seen. I really enjoyed it. The main exhibition is closed now, I think until May 2020. There is a cafe and shop inside. In the shop there are many different books about art, but the most of them are in German language.

I had my jacket on with my passport in the pocket and I did not feel safe to leave my jacket with a passport in a wardrobe. Also I did not have any sort of a bag to put my passport. I freely entered the exibition with my jacket on. During my visit I was stopped by security and they told me to either put jacket to a wardrobe or to leave. I had no choice but to leave. Surprisingly one of the best art museums that I've been to - and i had never heard of it before going there on a whim. Not just a beautiful collection that was interestingly presented, but also the curators have made the art pieces much more accessible than most other museums do by adding very interesting texts to many of it's pieces. the text went deeper than regular such text without being too long. Loved that! The personell were also very nice and helpful. They had a nice shop and lockers you could place tour bag in. The lockers costed 2 Euros (that you got back when opening) - i didn't have any euros on me so the personell lended me a coin in exchange for an id that was returned when I left. So nice!
