One of the best white sand beach we visited here and spent whole day. Water is not so deep , very good for all ages. No stones , no litter on beach. Lot of parking and lot of bars on beach. Free parking. Have some peddling boats available to rent, 20€ per hour for peddle boat. Highly recommended beach to relax . Can hire lounge chairs for 12€ for whole day. Very nice beach. Highly recommended for all ages. Perfectly safe beach for kids and children.

What a beach! Fine sand, clear water; friendly bar staff to prepare your drink and more. Set deckchairs and umbrella only euro 6. Enough space to find your favourite spot. Lots of parking slots when we went.

Great yellow sand beach. It is very long and quite wide. Lovely palm trees where you can find some shade. There are kayaks, paddle boards, water bikes and sun beds to rent. It's great for families as water is shallow and there are guards. There's also a big car park. All amenities like toilets, showers, changing rooms are available as well.

One of the best beaches on the island if you're up for yellow sand and sun beds. Nice amenities on the beach (bar / restaurants / toilets) and it's big enough to find a free spot even when crowded (there are plenty of sun bed areas and natural shade). You have to take it for what it is. It's not a natural beach but protected from the waves. For smaller children it is very safe to swim there and there are no big stones that may hurt you. It's an ideal spot for a visit. I wouldn't spend all my beach time on a vacation there but it delivers what it promises. The times we were there it was clean and not very full. There is a lot of parking space behind the beach.

It is commonly stated that this beach is the nicest on the Tenerife. With the whitest sand from Sahara desert. Yes, it is nice, but from my perspective it is definitely not the nicest. Yo protect the sand there not any waves. It is more like pool then natural beach. Usually very crowded as it is just beside Santa Cruz. Beautiful long beach, very quiet. Sea is plain so can swim easily. 20 min by bus from Santa Cruz. There are some restaurants along the beach.

Probably the cleanest sandy beach in the island — most others are pebble or sandy beaches that require you to have some water shoes. Located in the north of the island, it is mostly where locals go on weekends and seldom filled with the usual Brit tourists you see up north. The sand is imported from the Sahara and the break water allows for calm and turquoise seas for you to freely float and swim in. Where ever you are staying in the island, if what you seek is quit and calm blue waters then this is the place for you — worth the drive!

We had a lovely day today visiting this beach. Very calm water for swimming, water temperature was nice and warm too. Plenty of space to sunbathe on your own towels or you can rent a sun lounger. Everything you need is on this beach - WC, changing facilities, outdoor shower, food and drink services on the beach front also. Lovely golden sand on the beach that was artificially made in 1970s bringing sand from the Sahara. No rocks or stones in the water making it easy to enter water.

A very nice beach with imported golden sand. Lots of space and crystal-clear water. Beds and umbrellas are reasonably priced. You can easily find some bars here as well. A huge plus for free and huge parking. The only drawback is that this beautiful golden sand is really annoying when it gets windy.

The beach is very beautiful, wide and long. It differs from other beaches around as it has white ( not black, volcanic) sand. There is a long free parking lot just next to it. There are a couple of bars with snacks, sandwiches, fried seafood and fast food, coffee, cocktails and beer. There are changing chalets and open showers at the entrances. The swimming area is in an enclosed bay so the waves aren't big and suitable for kids. Possible to rent a pedalo with a slide. All toilets belong to the beach bars. I didn't see public ones. In general you can spend all day here and have a nice day. Beware of the sun, take an umbrella or small beach tent as the sun is very strong.

Sandy beach on the northern part of the island. Not so busy as the ones on the south. There are lots of beach bars with nice food and drink, tapases. Toilets and changing rooms are fair enough. Easy to go there by bus.

It’s the golden beach of Tenerife, sand from Sahara. It’s really fascinating, I recommend to google the story. Beach looks really nice and huge territory. It’s super clean, there’s a lot of restaurants. And they have toilets which is really good.

Good facilities on site. You can rent a double bed with shade for €16 and have decent beach food served by the nearby cafes. A dish costs between €9-13 and is served by friendly staff. The beach can get crowded, but never to an extent that you’d have trouble finding a spot. Families with children are encouraged.

An impressive structure, really beautiful. You can find anything here, from local wines to local cheese. Also, in the basement is the fish market. You can get fresh fish and seafood, and get them cooked. Absolutely delicious. But watch out for what you order, or you're gonna have a surprise when you see the bill (like the crab legs - good, but expensive)

If you pass by Santa Cruz have a look at this traditional market. I enjoyed seeing all the different fruits and other foods. Had some takeaway chicken paella but it wasn't good at all.

Astonish place ! Everything 100% authentic 😍 I bought some Aloe Vera products that were made in the Canary island. The fish and the fruits were impressively tasty ! It’s preferable to pay by cash.

Great selection of fresh produce and a great sea food market downstairs selling fresh fish, shellfish and other seafood. A few small cafés where you can have the seafood cooked and served to you.

This was a fun market, veggies, fruit meat, fish, spices, lots of things to buy and try.

This market was wonderful. We went on Saturday after lunch, and it was incredibly busy. I would highly recommend going there to sit for lunch as there's so many fresh seafood places to eat at. If not seafood, there's jamon eateries and plenty of bakeries. Otherwise I could see lots of local people also going for the amazing fresh produce. If you are interested in flea markets, there is a huge flea market outside too.

A small colourful indoor market. Fish, fruit and vegetables, cheese, spices and other local goodies in abundance. Cactus jam. Both mojos (sauces), green and red. Friendly vendors. It closes at 14:00. We parked in the underground garage next to the market (around 1,50 €/hour). We ate fish in a place behind the marketplace, where there are many small fish restaurants one next to the other (one dish is ca. 8 €, local atmosphere).

Good choice of local food, freshest catch and seafood, a lot of cheese and jamon as well as ripped fruits and vegetables from the garden. If you want to drink local wine or coffee with street food you are welcome too.

Great market with quality local products and reasonable priced food. A wide range of stores. We bought food and locally made jewellery. Rings 💍 for 2 euros and food for 4 for 8 euros. The toilets were clean and free. Top place!

This is a great central market that has many vendors selling fresh produce and meats, prepared foods, crafts, and many other wonderful things! During the Christmas season, there is a large, decorated Christmas tree in the center and many if the vendors decorate their stalls. One could spend a full day here just to sample the goods on both floors of the market. Enjoy!

A buzzing mixed market with a wide range of vendors, including herbs, plants, seeds and handicrafts available as well as fish, meat and veg. Probably best in the morning as some stalls shut up at midday, and you may want to avoid Sunday when the nearby streets are packed for the flea market. The Fascist-era building is worth seeing and the location, near TEA and the bus station, convenient.

An indoor market which has a lot of architectural style. Very busy when we were there. Mainly locals going about their business. There are a couple of coffee shops in the market itself and several others around the outside. An easy walk from the Plaza de Espana and the MUNA museum (See the mummies). All three are worth a round trip.

This bazar (market) is a place that anybody should visit in Santa-Cruz. In addition to different shops there you can find a places where you can purchase a ready to eat food. It has different locations so I can name this pace as a food market as well. And try an ice cream there (gelato). It is really tasty. Also on ground floor near children playground there is a shop with local wines. It has a lot of positions. If you are in Santa-Cruz, go there and see the authentic atmosphere of this city.

Ground floor had a restaurant with every type of fresh seafood. Loads of beautiful fresh fruit and vegetables on the first floor and artisans selling their work.

We visited whilst on a one day visit from a cruise ship. We have been here before and enjoy walking around this attractive market which has a mixture of shops selling vegetables, meat etc as well as craft stalls.

Modern auditorium building, small scale Sydney opera house, unfortunately closed when we visited. Still worth a visit to the area, close to rocky shores and a basilica.

The "Adán Martín" auditorium in Tenerife was designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava . It is located on the avenue of the Constitution of the capital of the Canary Islands , Santa Cruz de Tenerife overlooking the Atlantic Ocean , in the southern part of the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife .The main hall or Symphony, is crowned by a dome: it has 1616 seats arranged in an amphitheater and a stage with an opening of 16.5 meters and a depth of 14 meters.The hall of the chamber, with 422 seats, reproduces the Symphony Hall on a smaller scale. In 1987 , the projects of architects Antonio Fernández Alba, Vicente Saavedra and Javier Díaz Llanos were presented , where the previous project was abandoned due to a conceptual change in the type of building. In 1989 contacts began with Santiago Calatrava Valls, who later became the definitive architect.

Nice building that fits in well with its surroundings. It is somewhat similar in character to the Syndey Opera House. The space next to it is also worth walking around.

Stunning architecture but totally not ergonomic. Different levels are not accessible from inside the building. No public lifts available. One has to go out and walk down and up stairs to find another entrance, which may be quite unpleasant in bad weather and if one has mobility issues.

Went there 3 times in a week. Each concert was fantastic. Great atmosphere. You could have drinks and food which looked good however I had already had food at my hotel. Drinks were €3 per glass which is a great price. I recommend buying tickets in advance but there was space for you to turn up and buy then and there unfortunately as the performances were fantastic.

It’s a shame it’s not open to public, at least it wasn’t when I came to view. I’m assuming you can only see the place inside if you go see a show. It’s an interesting building but it’s rather underwhelming viewing it on the outside.

An iconic and beautiful structure designed by Santiago Calatrava. It was by chance that I came to see another structure designed by him. The first one, was the Oculus structure in New York. I am a big fan of his designs and I would like to see some more of his projects as I continue my travels to Europe.

Really cool, modern design, possibly the only architecturally interesting modern building on the island. I went to a family concert of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an exhibition and... The quality of the sound and the orchestra surprised me. Sure it might be my favourite composer, but damn that was fantastic!

The idea of ​​a "building - performance" in the capital of Tenerife originated in the 1970s. In the 1990s, the idea was embodied in a project that began to be implemented in the old industrial area of ​​​​Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The grandiose construction, the erection of unusual structures looked charming. For example, the roof alone reaches a length of 100 meters and weighs 350 tons. At that time, each time entering the capital, the first thing that many paid attention to was the figures of workers climbing the sloping peak like small bees.

A very intriguing architectural creation. This building caught my attention not only with its shape but also with a large portion of its surface covered in white mosaic. I was also fascinated by another curiosity nearby. On the rocks serving as breakwaters, portraits of famous musical personalities are drawn.

We had an afternoon tour with Jonathan which was excellent. Jonathan kindly spoke in Spanish and English as he took us around both auditoriums for 45 minutes telling us some incredible facts. I would highly recommend taking the tour then grabbing a drink/lunch at the very affordable bar cafe.

The Auditorium is a building with two concert halls located in the southern part of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The building was designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and its shape is supposed to resemble the human eye, including the eyebrows. Construction began in 1997 and it was opened in 2003. Free parking is available nearby in the large car park. The building has a café with refreshments in the entrance, and it is also possible to have a bite to eat. Toilets are freely accessible from the main lobby and are free of charge. There is also a box office for purchasing tickets for the performance. Guided tours of the building in English or Spanish can also be purchased. The tour lasts about 40 minutes and the price is 5 euros per person. The tour is to the two concert halls, corridors and terraces, which are normally inaccessible to the public.

Auditorio de Tenerife is an impressive building gracing the otherwise not a very beautiful architecturally city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is designed by the same architect who built a similar complex in Valencia - Santiago Calatrava. Hence many similarities, from being very impressive visually but not very practical inside. Obviously the edifice is stunning, with the glorious position on the sea shore. However there is no elevator from the parking underneath to the entrance floor. There are great distances to walk which is somewhat inconvenient for the rushed atmosphere of the concert hall. Bathroom is only one, so then huge lines. Why in a modern building? The design clearly has preference for the looks. Inside the acoustics is good. But again further rows are too far from the stage, with the traditional circular design of a theater being abandoned for the movie theater concept which is not appropriate for the classical music. Parking in the underneath garage is plentiful and inexpensive. The buffet is adequate. The concert programme in 2024 is great but that is not really a building's feat. Overall definitely a place to see and certainly to attend a concert. The atmosphere is very civil, the public is nice and respectful of music.

Very nice building in santa cruz we have buy ticket for 5 euro and have nice one hour long walking tour inside. The guide tel us everything about the building and schow us all rooms inside was very nice.😊 we can just recomended

Nice Place near the Cruise Terminal - so all the Passengers can go there by a walk of some hundred Meters and it's worth it. The big Size letters with the Cruise Ship in the Background are nice to have on a photo. From here, you can walk around through the town with Shops, Cafes and Restaurants.

Lively and bustling area (and surrounding streets) with cafes restaurants and bars. Fantastic Christmas light decorations. Plenty to do here and well worth a visit. Nearby underground (paid) parking readily available. We paid under 5euro and spent 3-4 hours there

Very nice plaza with probably the biggest fountain on the island. The location is the perfect spot to start exploring the commercial streets of santa Cruz where there are many shops and restaurants.

Finally, the barren mountains provide the contrast to the blue sky in the distance. Be sure to check out the Los Caidos sculpture group, take a photo at the SANTA CRUZE sign, and walk around the lake to the gate that blends into the background.

Very pretty place to spend a couple of hours. We also went into the underground exhibition of old fortress walls, well worth a visit on it's own, free as well. Lots of seats all round the fountain, and a lovely living wall over the tourist office. The fountain was only operating sporadically, maybe it does all the time? Lots of photo opportunities, and only a few minutes walk to lovely tree lined avenues full of cafes and restaurants.

The Plaza of Spain consists of a large fountain located in the center, next to it is a monument to the fallen, those who died in the battles for the Spanish land. Further from it rises a monument in the form of a white cross, along with an observation deck at the top. It is impossible not to notice a beautiful arch behind the fountain; it was the main entrance to the alley of the Duchess of St. Helena, which was erected at the end of 1787. This arch is 20 meters wide and 9 meters high, designed by military engineer Andres Amat Tortosa. Since then, the arch has undergone several restorations. The alley now practically forms a single space with the square. Built in the same year as the arch (1787). During the holidays, under the mighty and ancient trees, various handicraft fairs and festivities are organized

A must visit if"you are in Santa Cruz if you enjoy walking there is a myriad of streets and plazas The Jewel of the crown is the wonderful park at the top of Santa Cruz a bit of a walk but weath it.

Nice little historical landmark in the middle of town. The fountain is also a nice touch. New “insta-structure” is up for tourists to take a photo as well. The statues are interesting but the history behind it is even more so. Do not forget to visit the small museum they have under the ground of the plaza and fountain itself — you will see the entrance stairs on the ocean side of the park — it is free to enter and it really gives more context to the place you are in. Situated in the centre of Santa Cruz near port. Nice pleasant park and green space to shade from the sun. Museum and celebration statues to commemorate the defeat of Nelson and his arm loss. The Plaza de Espana is beautifully done with it's huge artificial pool, numerous monuments, countless shops and cafes, and peaceful and open atmosphere. The nearby Monument to the Fallen, Santa Cruise sign, and sculpture "Lo llevo bien" all make this Plaza worth the visit

Place de Espana is a big historical square, which is located near the Santa Cruz port. It's in the city centre and it's the largest square in Tenerife. It has a nice fountain with an artificial pond, trees and a big Santa Cruz sign. In the middle it's the monument, tribute to the fallen in the Spanish Civil War. There is underground parking nearby and there a lot of shops and restaurants in the area.

Great garden with lots of different trees and plants. You can view plant blooms and fruits of so many plants! Also so many beautiful tropical leaves. There's enough to walk for an hour or two. It was decorated for Christmas though, and the blue lights were quite distracting me from the nature vibe.

A place full of the spirit of the nature from all over the world. The views from the hill are mesmerizing. It was very imressive to learn the garden was built on a hill of garbage as a proof of sustainability and resilience of nature. The staff was friendly and it was good that there were no crowds of visitors and one can enjoy a meditative walk. There were some interesting birds around if you are lucky and patient to notice them.

Great place to spend & hour or so quite hilly but once you're there worth it. Nice selection of palms & plants from around the world. Lots of seats & shaded area if you get too hot. Buy a map for 50 c as download takes forever & unless you have a tablet too small to be of practical use.

I simply got the idea to visit the Palmetum while I was exploring Santa Cruz and the idea turned out to be phenomenal! The information provided for many plants (mostly palm trees) was very interesting and encourages to do even more research on my own. The place is in a perfect condition. I recommend spending some time there and not to rush through it. I spent 2:30 hours there and it was enough to go both routes and look at some interesting plants in detail.

Gorgeous landscape on different points of the city, that's the main USP of this place. I'm sure it is worth it for plant lovers too. Why not 5 stars? The coffee place within the Palmetum is definitely overpriced. Other than that, it's a recommended place to spend a sunny morning or a sunny afternoon.

Loved it! Lovely greenery from all over the world, and a gorgeous garden at the centre (Octagon)! I could spend hours there, just enjoying the nature. There are benches along the path, and viewpints overlooking the ocean on one side, and the city on the other.

Relaxing and calming environment. Amazing variety of palm trees and other plantation with excellent explanation and information. The transformation of a waste pit to such an amazing garden is admirable and it has attracted many different species of birds and other animals. Overall a great experience.

Worth a visit on any day. Reasonable gift prices, all plants are extremely well labeled, non strenuous stroll, very well kept, great ocean views, €6 per adult, accessible for all. It is divided into many regions with all plants in good shape and great examples of their species. Nice views of the city and refinery that has a kind of industrial beauty.

We enjoyed this park, but would have enjoyed it more if we'd gone on a cooler day. There wasn't a lot of shade. We spent quite a bit of time walking around the area dedicated to plants that enjoy cooler environments. The park has a car park, but we had come to Santa Cruz by bus and it's about a 25 minute walk from the bus station. The cost of the park is reasonable. There are some lovely and amazing plants there.

A place with different species of palm trees from all over the world. At the entrance I got a leaflet about one non-European palm that managed to reproduce despite the lack of conditions, which increased interest. There are also viewpoints overlooking the ocean.

Indeed one of the largest collections of palms I’ve seen - definitely the largest in Europe! Very nicely arranged in global regions. I’ve not expected such large specimens in such a relatively young collection.

A beautiful oasis, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring this garden. We loved watching the birds, butterflies and turtles too. The only thing missing is a cafe.

Unique about this botanical garden, is their extensive collection of palms from all across the world. Both small an giant palms are lurking around every corner. Especially enjoyed El Octógono, a half-sunken shade house in the middle of the park, home to the most tropical species.

The museum is quite big (4 floors) and exhibits are presented very nicely. It’s a pity that all the text are in Spanish (the last star went there). Nevertheless, we got a picturesque experience about the island’s history, flora and fauna. My favorites were the collection of butterflies and moths, the life sized sea creatures and the birds. Plan approximately 2 hours for the visit. Definitely a very interesting getaway, away from crowded beaches and loud streets and/or rainy day. Parking is at a nearby parking centre.

A lovely, well maintained museum with both natural and archeological exhibits that is a very reasonable €5 for adults. All exhibits are in Spanish. There is a free online audio tour in English but it omits most of the museum and causes you to spent the tour with your phone speaker in your ear so you do not bother the other visitors. I visited in Feb and the cafeteria was closed as were portions of the museum. There is a lovely garden in the middle and the staff are very helpful. I bought a seashell jazz t-shirt, not sure what it had to do with the museum but it was cute.

A lot of the exhibitions are made up of pictures, so don't expect a lot of stuffed animals. The collection on Canary artifacts, including bodies and body parts of indigenous people are stunning, quite literally.

Spaces are beautifully designed with lofty ceilings, natural lighting and great visual connection across various programmes. Museum is free entry but library requires prebooking due to corona restrictions. Guard was kind enough to allow me to slip into library for a quick 5 mins session. Highly recommended to visit.

The lowest prices and the best product quality I have ever seen on the island. I always try to visit it when I am in Tenerife, always happy with the purchases. One can buy pretty much everything there. As a seafood lover I recommend the sushi-to-go counter, real authentic taste (prepped up seemingly by authentic/native sushi experts behind the counter). Among local specialties also recommend looking at a great selection of jamón, fresh locally sourced fish, cheeses, whines and fruits. By the way the local products are typically marked with the Canary Islands flag (not the UA one). Parking is free and spacious. Pop in and you won’t regret it.

Great mall with a good selection both native Spanish and international brands. Prices are a little higher than what you can find in less touristy places. It is very close to the Titsa main bus station or Intercambiar so it is easy to get there by bus. The top level has an open air food court with restaurants and coffee shops, most of which are reasonably priced. There is also a magnificent view of the ocean. There is a theatre at the top level as well. While living in Santa Cruz, we often went to the mall to pass time and enjoy a beer and olives at 100 Montaditos for around $3. We would definitely recommend this mall.

Quiet and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Restaurant buffet meal had a wide selection of quality food, outside swimming pool great for relaxing. Only down side was that it's somewhat isolated from main bus routes and excursions rarely pick up from this hotel.

A lot of it was closed when we went but it was worth the travel! Tickets are not expensive for what you get at all and you can spend quite a lot of time here! The middle part of the garden is especially pretty!

Carrefour is also placed in the first floor where you can find almost anything! You’ll spend 2-3 hours here at least. The toilet section is very clean and you feel like home. This is something you´d expect to see somewhere in the main Europe, but not in the Canary islands: A german Flak 88 between some nice palm trees A fortress with some cannons, mortars, MG´s etc. A weapon exhibition with some very unique weapons A Walker Bulldog and a Huey! (Military) history of the islands (mostly in spanish) with some unique objects like flags, weapons, dioramas, scale models etc... It was free, it was unexpected (to me), it was magnificent. I hope Spain will someday fund the renovations of the historical forts, bunkers and places of history like many other EU countries have. Most of the bunkers/forts around the island are forbidden to enter, because they are mostly a pile of rubble in dangerous places.

There is enough parking spaces for everyone, as there is not that many people walking the trail. The booking for entrance in advance had to be done very fast as tickets were gone in a few minutes. But it was totally worth the hassle. As we started walking we were apporached by the park ranger and had to show our reservation. The forest truly is enchanting, the path is nicely marked, just make sure that you take the path on the right as your way there. The map avaliable on the website is very useful for navigation. At the end there is a bigger viewpoint with a wall you can sit on and rest in the shade with a wonderful view of the coast.

The misty weather, the trees that were leaning one onto each other, the birds singing around, the entire atmosphere seemed like a fairy tale. ‼️ you can use this path only with a special permit which might be a bit tricky to get; totally worth it ❤️

I went there because so many people hype this place up and it has good reviews. I went there with proper sneakers and warm clothes (it's around 10 degrees up there and it's windy). It took me around 1,5h to drive to there from Puerto de la Cruz. When we arrived there, we noticed that there were no signs of roads and how long they were or what possibilities do you have. Roads were extremely slippery and muddy. If you do not have professional hiking clothes and equipment, don't go. Roads were clearly not cleaned (like majority of the hiking roads in Tenerife are) and there are no signs where to go or if you are even on the right path. After walking for 3,5km while surviving MAJOR mud and slipper road, we randomly ended up in the middle of the driving road (not the original place where we were supposed to end up like in 99% of Tenerife's hiking roads are made like a loop). We had to walk another 1,5km up the road (while walking on the driving road) back to our car. There were literally no maps on the road (to even understand where you are) nor any signs where to go. We decided not to take the road through forest, since it took us almost 2h not to slide down the mountain hill due horrible conditions of the roads. If you do not have professional hiking boots, don't go. Honestly I do not know why they call this forest echanted because there isn't anything special. It was very regular forest with zero views. I have visited MANY hiking places all over Tenerife and this was literally the most boring, dangerous and info-less hiking road I have taken. Unbelievably beautiful hike! Otherworldly! It took us about 2,5 hours and it was pretty easy to do. It can get slippery when it rains a lot, wear good shoes. When you get to the road, the path continues in the forest on your right.

We drove to the starting point of La Ensillada and walked down to La Cumbrilla village. We climbed back by the Cabezo del Tejo viewpoint, which had an amazing view to the sea. Review written mid-October - we visited the beach at 5 pm after spending the day on ‘Las Teresitas’. Las Gaviotas is a complete different vibe - first, it is not an artificial beach, and the black sand is a testimony for that. There were both nudist (20%) and fully dressed up people (80%) and everyone was really chill. We came by car and indeed it is a steep hill to go down/up so make sure you are driving extra carefully. We found scarcely 1 parking spot at the time we went simply because the sun was going down. We had lots of fun jumping the waves though.. as it is a natural beach, the ocean is quite untamed, so the current is really strong. I cannot swim myself and I felt the current pulling me towards the ocean - hence why i stayed very close to the edge. The only downside of it in my opinion is the lack of public shower / toilet.. it is crazy for me how the authorities made a public big parking for this, but no public shower.. the sand being black gets on all your clothes and towels, so having this would definitely help. There were also dogs running free on the beach, playing around with their families - something that I absolutely loved. Overall, a joyful experience, but perhaps would not return as it is not very convenient from the tourism pov..

This is a clothing optional naturist beach so don't worry about about bearing all, most on the beach when we visited were nude including ourselves. The water is very dirty, a lot of foam and pollution floating everywhere, maybe this day the current was trowing pollution to the shore instead of in the open sea, but anyway there's smell of gasoline as many boats are traveling just in front to the entrance of the peer, the beach could be nice if the local government take more care of the environment instead of just getting money from touristic activities.

The water in early march was still more on the cool side than warm, the sand was very clean and looked fantastic. I really like this beach! It's quite small, so I thought it was very good to bring my kids there. The beach is well sheltered from the wind, plus there are no big waves that reach the beach because of how well it is sealed off, so it's easy for small kids to play by the sea. What the kids liked best was of course the inflatable playground in the sea, or what they called the "wipe out track". It costs 20 euros per person and they get a life jacket and bracelet and it's valid for the whole day. There is a tent at the north end of the beach where you can buy tickets for it. Everything one could possibly need is just a few steps away, many restaurants and bars, supermarket, pharmacy, spa's, bike rental and so much more. It was very nice to be able to take just few steps to the street when the kids wanted drinks, ice cream or food. Even when one of the girls got a wound, being able to jump a few steps to buy band-aids. Next to the beach is the harbor, where you can find every possible water sport you can think of, such as jet skii, whale and dolphin watching tours, scuba diving, try dive, banana boats, water gliding and so much more. Parking is available both at the harbor and there is also a parking garage in the street above the beach.

Nice beach. Artificially constructed at its all just volcanic rock there, but it’s a lovely place for an evening stroll or a play with children. It’s a bit hot during the day in summer so we stuck to evenings.
