Absolutely beautiful!! I love the cathedral, both in and out. Even managed to get up to the top today to enjoy some magnificent views! The tour was very informative. The highlight was getting to be stood right next to the bells as they rang!

There is so much to see here if you are interested in old buildings. There are loads of beautiful stained glass windows and the architecture is stunning. Every where you look you see something that makes you truly appreciate the skills involved in making this building. What I really like is that they have really committed to being accessible for disabled people with ramps or lifts to get wheelchairs and mobility spaces to most of the places on the lower levels. This is definitely the most accessible Cathedral we have been to.

This is by far one of my favourite cathedrals of all time! It is so beautiful and the architecture is amazing! It has the Harry Potter hall which is fun to take pictures in. Every time that I have been here, there haven't been too many people. If you get the chance to take the tours to the tower or the crypt, I would defiantly do that! The view from the top of the tower was amazing! I also loved the stops on the way up there. Seeing the bells and then getting to be in the room when the largest one rang. The crypt was really cool, a few movies were filmed down there! If you get the chance, I recommend going to the Gloucester Cathedral.

We made a special trip to Gloucester on a Sunday specifically to visit the cathedral. Ensure you know the visitation times. We expected to wait after Sunday morning service but even later on the day we were being asked to visit after 4 pm. I'm incredibly glad we did not give up! Spending over an hour at Gloucester Cathedral was an awe-inspiring experience. The magnificent architecture, with its soaring ceilings, intricate marble work, and stunning stained glass windows, left me utterly captivated. The cathedral's beauty and historical significance make it an absolute must-see for any visitor to Gloucester (not just Harry Potter fans). It is truly breathtaking interior with fascinating history, and peaceful atmosphere. There are informative displays and few (clearly knowledgeable) guides who were happy to answer questions. £5 voluntary donation per person is more than fair, as it helps maintain this architectural gem. The cathedral's inclusive approach, allowing visitors to explore without a mandatory fee, is commendable. Wow, what a stunning cathedral. Beautiful stain glass windows and details to the building. We found some areas where Harry Potter was filmed too. They had some fun activities on the upper level which would be fun for adults and children. Well worth a visit.

Cathedral was beautiful and all staff we spoke to were friendly and informative. We were allowed to leave our pushchair with a staff member while accessing the Whispering Gallery and interactive pieces. Lots of things were clearly labelled with the history or back story. We didn't take a tour as we were short of time but they were frequent and seemed really good so will do that next time.

Impressive architecture and history. The Tower tour is highly recommended if you like views from high places and don’t mind narrow spiral staircases and a few hundred steps :) The cloisters were also used for Hogwarts in a number of the Harry Potter movies.

Absolutely spectacular! It's free, donations are voluntary. So much to see inside, and I believe the passages around the cloister were in the Harry Potter film. Well worth the visit! The rest of the town was pretty modern and run of the mill, except for a couple of pretty streets.

Such an incredible cathedral with a calming aura. I visited during the day and paid the optional £5 fee and also at night for the light and sound show which was spectacular. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the very charming city of Gloucester!

We went to the Light Eternal last Sunday 22/10/23. Would recommend. Very quick queuing time. You are not rushed to walk around and take photos and videos. Very relaxing I found it. This would be great to take children with sensory needs too. Get there while you can. I also lit a candle with a donation in memory to my late mum who would have loved this ❤️

a very beautiful medieval cathedral, said to be the resting place of King Edward II. Also of harry potter fame. Very quiet for silent retreat. There is a small entrance to second floor to take in the sights.

Absolutely stunning place not to be missed if your in the area. 5.30pm every evening the choir sings even song its like attending a royal wedding the sound the small choir makes ....incredible!!!!!!!! The cathedral is the best I have ever been too. And of course the parts where Harry potter was filmed a nice little treat too. Perfection x

Beautiful place. Love it here. The reason why we like to come to Gloucester. Great place to take photos. If you are lucky enough to come when choirs are rehearsing you will be in for a treat. Fab acoustics. Interesting whispering gallery worth exploring upstairs. Clever idea.

Incredible feat of engineering. As soon as you walk in the grounds the scale of the building impresses. Inside the vaulted ceiling and stone work are a marvel. We went for the tower tour and were not disappointed. The tour guides were knowledgeable, informative and interesting, the climb up the various stair cases as they got narrower was enhanced by hundreds of years of graffiti and views across gloucester. Each level gave an interesting history and informative layer to the history of the cathedral. Highly recommended just to visit but go for the tour if you can.

A majestic architectural landmark in Gloucester. Absolutely amazing! Lots of information boards about the history and stories of Gloucester Cathedral that I found quite interesting. Architectural details, large stained glasses in different periods of time, lovely gardens and nice cafe. Definitely don’t want to miss it if you are in the area.

Magnificent building! The architecture is beautiful. It's free to visit with an optional donation. There is also a small gift shop as well as cafe and a beautiful outside area. The hallways and great halls of the cathedral were actually film sets for the Harry Potter films so if you're a fan, definitely worth a visit!

A wonderfully beautiful place to visit. I was drawn here in January 2023, as it was a Harry Potter and Doctor Who filming location, and because I heard it had a beautiful interior, but the visit surpassed my expectations. You could go up to a higher floor inside the building and look down to see the intricate detail/stonework from above. Here you also learnt a lot about the masonry, restoration and structure of the building. You find yourself looking upwards to see the exquisite sculptured ceiling, and downwards to the colourful tiled floors. The stained glass windows range from old to new. The interior and exterior of the building is stunning. People are quiet, respectful and at peace here. There are plenty of information boards around to tell you of the interesting history of the building, and the volunteer workers there are so kind and helpful. It's free entry, but we gave a donation. The upkeep of the building must be huge, it would be sad to see it ever go into disrepair so I was happy to pay to visit this amazing place.

Can’t believe this place is free. I visited because this is where they filmed a lot of Harry Potter scenes. I am a huge fan and wanted to see it. I wasn’t disappointed! It’s like stepping into Hogwarts. The cathedral is absolutely gorgeous. You can wander around as you please. There are some toilets inside too which is practical. The best place to visit in Gloucester!

The staff are so welcoming and approachable. The Cathedral is stunning and well kept with amazing frequent events throughout the year - light shows, concerts, and all kinds.

The cathedral itself is magnificent! We arrived late in the afternoon. So the lighting was beautiful. It's a great place to check out the cloisters for the filming of Harry Potter. The area around the church leaves a lot to be desired. So it's not some place I'd recommend to stay. But the church is definitely worth a stop if traveling through.

What a truly amazing structure and absolutely worth a visit. With Santa due overhead in a few days it was festive, not over done but enough to remind us. King Edward laid here after being murdered at Berkeley castle, by his wife so this cathedral is unique, also the cloisters were the location of Harry Potter filming, something for everyone. Parking 🅿️ as with most cities, close and lots of choice but available like peak times depict. Toilets, cafe, shop, magnificent windows statues and a whispering gallery, low entrance fee but we donated additional, this is well worth the time and effort to visit and we will continue to go there regularly

Last visited the Quays about 20 years ago and what a lovely surprise to see how it has been developed since then. Plenty to do around there for a day, shopping and eating places in abundance! Very pleasant place to wander around in the autumn sunshine.

Luxury shopping centre (has very attractive marble flooring) with a fairly large range of shops and restaurants. It's situated next to the Gloucester Docks so forms a complete section of Gloucester south of the main city centre. A good tourist environment can be found here within easy walking distance. For locals it has become a destination for people to enjoy time together, eat, chat, shop and dine. The M&S outlet store provides value for money. The Cornish Bakery sells delicious Cornish Pasties which are normally reduced at 6pm. Parking and access to shopping centre is straight-forward. Events are often held in the streets and square such as food fairs, retro weekend and tall ships festival (which is due to be held next in 2024). Another point of interest is found by the main dock basin. Here the work of Nielsen boat maintenance company is carried out. There's normally about 7 or 8 boats being worked on, some quite large, some with masts. You can wonder walkways by these boats and read the boards detailing the background to each job.

Love to visit this place. Beautiful view and the outlet shops with amazing low prices.

Lovely little area right on the water. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose from. Could easily spend an entire afternoon walking around and seeing the sights.

Nice atmosphere, easy parking with more than enough, Christmas market just outside the main shopping centre and plenty of people around for it not to feel dull and tired. Only giving it a 4/5 in comparison to London based shopping centres. Nice day out with lots of dining and cafe options .....

I've not been to Gloucester for some years so this was a real surprise when we came. A nice layout with plenty of varied stores. Clean toilets. Some fun and nice features. Nice wide areas to walk along also with plenty to look at. A little constructed at spots where they've put stands in the middle of the walkways selling things but that's fine when it's not super busy. A really nice spot to visit.

Gloucester Quays is a delightful shopping destination that seamlessly blends retail therapy with a picturesque waterfront setting. During our Sunday visit, I was impressed by the well-maintained indoor shopping area, conveniently located near the historic docks. The outlet offers a diverse range of stores, making it easy to find great deals and discounts. The relatively quiet atmosphere on Sunday allowed for a pleasant shopping experience, with attentive staff readily available to assist. I managed to snag quite a few bargains during my 2-hour shopping spree, plus enjoyed a relaxing hour at one of inviting coffee shops inside the centre. The Quays also boast a good selection of restaurants and a large cinema, providing plenty of options for a day out (do visit the reregenerated docks). Compared to other outlets we frequent (Bicester, Gunwarf Quays, Chashire Oaks) it is small but that actually makes it more manageble for a mix of retail, dining, and leisure activities in an attractive waterfront setting.

Worth to visit for shopping. Most of companies outlets there. Mean same quality at low prices. Good price, better quality n value. Staff is ok but at the end ur getting great stuff at low prices if u compared it with London, believe me 😳.

Good selection of shops with something for everyone. Very disabled friendly with plenty of blue badge spaces and easy access throughout, along with helpful staff on hand to answer any questions. The first four hours parking is free for disabled, just validate your ticket at customer service in the main mall. Well worth a visit.

The quay itself is lovely to walk around, have a relaxed coffee and generally enjoy the views and atmosphere. The Quays shopping centre nearby is superb and contains a large and excellent range of quality outlet shops selling products at good discount prices. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Great afternoon walk in the Christmas market. Recommend for something to do in Gloucester. There are loads of shops here to see and do.

Great place to visit we will go back in summer , lots of places to eat and lots of history it was once a bustling inshore port connected to the canal and the river Severn, the historic warehouse fronts are still intact , although most have been converted to apartments plus it is the home of the national waterways museum which is unfortunately shut on a Sunday which is when we visited also you can hire boats in the summer . Well worth a visit plus there is a wetherspoons pub on the Quay . Quite busy on the Quay but a really nice atmosphere walking around and soaking up the history.

My husband and I was visiting Gloucester for a one night stay cay and had planned to do some wandering. We happened across Gloucester Quay and was thrown by the array of stores. We have a similar designer outlet in Bridgend, Wales but Gloucester Quay was definitely better. The inside shopping centre was spotless and fairly easy to find and navigate and the sales, discounts and loyalty offerings were incredible. 75% off items in some stores! Worth visiting if you are in the area to grab yourself a bargain

Very quiet on a Thursday evening. Spent a couple of hours in Next and M&S. Very clean outlet shopping area and a good, reasonably priced car park.

Gloucester Quays shopping complex is easily accessible, many shops I.e Marks and Spencer, Next, coffee shops, you will get everything around here depending on your choice. You need to be patient to walk around all those many shops to get whatever you are looking for. Very friendly staff, great ambience and good views.

Great place to get your Christmas shopping done. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Nicely laid out area, offering variety of shopping experiences. Good transport links to the area.

A aircraft museum run by volunteers with free entry. This place is focused on the invention of the Jet in Cheltenham and is well worth a visit. A small cafe at the front provides refreshments. Full wheelchair access inside and more difficult stones outside, but still possible. It is alongside a working airport... While we were there a Vampire and a Yak landed...along with many modern light aircraft.

Great discovery! A fascinating insight into Gloucestershires contribution to aviation and more importantly the jet engine. My father was thrilled to find a Meteor 7 there, which he worked on in the RAF. Staffed by volunteers, free entry but donations gladly accepted.

This is a very important collection and a great place to take children if they are interested in aircraft. There is one of Whittle's first jet engines and the first airworthy unit (as well as the aircraft). Well worth an hour or two. Longer if this is your thing.

Great! Small but beautifully put together aviation museum, staffed by volunteers who clearly love what they do. Free entry but it really deserves a generous donation. Any aviation buff keen on ww2 and post war jets will be in their element here. Highly recommended. Open weekends only.

Great Museum, lots of information and opportunities to see the aircraft up close. Exhibits range from WW1 to cold war period. Cockpit sections avalible for visitors to sit in. The site is run on a volunteer basis, with friendly informed staff. It's free to enter with a choice to make a donation. If this is your passion, they are looking for more volunteers as the museum is continually expanding.

A little gem!! There are some fascinating exhibits here - focussed on the development of jet aircraft in and around Gloucester. You don't realise just how brave some of the early and war-time pilots were. It's nicely laid out - and there is a cafe and toilets. Very well worth a visit. Easy access from the M5 - J11. I can't believe that this museum is free to enter.... but it is. Strongly recommended.

Visited today and it was amazing, the fact that you can land and park your plane in front of the museum is a nice plus, knowledgeable volunteers including former pilot of aircraft on display is truly unique, everyone here was kind and helpful, what's more, the lemon cake at the café was top ! Book your ticket to the vulcan cockpit tour, its truly immersive in the cold War era 🫡

A very belated review for a visit last year with my toddler who had an amazing time. Wonderfully knowledgeable volunteers, who were very eager to involve an overexcited little one. Very well kept and looked after. Would recommend.

This was my 2nd visit, and it looked like there were a few new additions outside. Had a very warm welcome as this was a meeting point for a classic car drive out. Some very interesting aircraft and a good walk through of the bristish jet engine history. If you get the chance to climb into the Vulcan cockpit pit its well worth it. Keep up the good work.

It is a great museum highlighting the important role that Gloucestershire played in Britain's aviation history! With an added bonus that you can go into some of the cockpits of the aircraft! I can't believe that it is FREE to enter, run entirely on donations, and by very knowledgable volunteers.

My partner took our 4 year old plane fanatic son here on a Saturday for a few hours. Upon arrival my partner was greeted with an extremely warm welcome but not just to himself but for my son as well. The helpers here were enormously helpful to all and went out there way to make sure your experience is a 10/10 the staff are very knowledgeable of the museum and are always on hand to share this information. Our son has ASD and is non verbal but of course he was made to feel welcome, involved and understood. Both my partner and son loved there visit, my son loved to sit in some of the planes but what put the icing on the cake for him was watching the small planes take off. To all the staff who were working here on 9/3/24 from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much for your kindness and this amazing museum. We have paid to get into many other places yet my partner has never experience staff as caring, understanding and patient as he did here especially with my son's higher needs. Although it's a free entry people give up there time to work here 👏 Please donate if you can this museum is amazing and I can't wait to visit myself 😁

So I went to the Jet age museum based at Staverton airport today. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing it was. Firstly it’s free entry but you can leave a donation and please please do because they really deserve it. When I entered I was greeted by some really nice volunteers that help run the place who are knowledgable and are really easy to chat to. They also have all the right facilities for whoever is going. Toilets as you walk in plus a really nice cafe where you get some really nice and reasonably priced snacks and drinks. We enjoyed going around the museum as they had many interesting exhibits to see plus you can even get a tour of two of the plane where you can learn about the aircraft’s and sit in the pilots seat. This is a great place to bring the family as their is plenty for everyone to enjoy. They only open the weekends but I have had a great day out and will be back soon. Thank you for a great day.

Take a picnic and plenty of 20pences to feed the animals. Not huge but theres a lovely cafe, woodland walks and animals who are very tame. Once you're finished there take a stroll up the hill to the monk's home and spend a quiet moment in the small chapel reflecting on the day......

Have been a few times . Have always enjoyed. Great for children of all ages 2 to 92. If I've enjoyed it more, it's been in spring or summer. Was slightly disappointed on my last winter visit because of the lack of Chinese Pheasants, but my 2yr old granddaughter, the reason we went, loved it. She took great pleasure feeding :- the geese, ducks, pigeons, swans, chickens, ETC ETC and don't forget the peacocks, and the deer, goats , fish ETC. Great addition is the ticket office /visitor centre / cafe / shop. Lovely end to the visit, having a hot chocolate and watching other families walking around.

Beautiful place for a picnic and day-out. Kids would enjoy the whole experience of bird feeding , deers. Peacocks in this place are an absolite delight...perhaps one of the few places that have white peacocks and peahens as well. The place could be a lot cleaner though..especially the pond. Its got a lot of stagnant water that was smelling at a point. That was the only put-off! Staff is friendly..setting is beautiful..some may find the tickets a bit expensive! Overall..i would recommend for a day visit with family.

This is a brilliant place to visit. We love the birds and deers. Deers are friendly and lovely. We saw some eggs in the park and there are many birds, ducks and weird look chickens. Definitely worth to visit!

Lovely family attraction with many different breeds of birds to look at and enjoy, along with deer. Some areas of the park are a little run down, some of the paths for example. I'd avoid in busier times too as you want the birds and the deer to be wanting the food and the space to interact with them which wouldn't be possible if it's busy and noisy, or they've already had a lot to eat. It has a pretty cafe to enjoy at the bird park, and another up at the abbey car park.

Sarah and I took two of our grandchildren to this park to see and feed the dear. We all had an amazing time. We Will definitely be back in the drier warmer weather.

Excellent value but only for repeat visits. Great Café. Everything is well preserved and presented though there’s no sense of continuity or narrative to everything as a whole. I also found the layout sightly confusing and, on first visit, didn’t realise there was an upstairs. The many exhibits keep the attention of adults whereas the hands on stuff is very much for kids. The museum is fairly small so try and visit in half term to avoid school groups. The entrance fee is expensive for a single visit but includes repeat visits for a year. If the visit is a 'one off’ then get your money’s worth by buttonholing a volunteer to explain things. They know a lot that more than is on the display cards. All the staff are a great bunch and willing to help and offer information. The café serves reasonably priced food and drinks. The tea is good and cakes taste homemade (in a good way). If it’s not too sunny or crowded, sit in the area by the big window. There’s a small car park nearby (Southgate Moorings - Gloucester Docks), just off the main road, which fills quickly every day. The Quays shopping centre (5 minutes walk away) has a large multi story attached to it.

very nice little museum that gives you a good, basic understanding of the history of gloucester as a port as well as the history of transportation of goods. Wish it had a little more detail but otherwise makes for a good day out.

Engaging displays in a beautiful building with friendly staff. I enjoyed the video recollections of canal workers. The museum caters well for children, with plenty of things to do. The cafe and children's play area are particularly nice extra features.

My daughter and I went to see Santa at the National Waterways Museum and we had such a great time. We got to look in the museum and it was just great. Both, my daughter and I, had a positive experience and we will definitely go there again.

Great place to know history about docks. Once you buy the ticket, it will be valid for a whole year and you can visit it as many times as you want.... How amazing!!! It's a huge place to cover in a day, if you are also visiting other places in Gloucester, so plan your day accordingly.

Great day out and good value even in this time of watching every penny. The Boat trip was wonderful and well informed regarding its history as a Little Ship at Dunkirk. Good place for children and pets. Although anyone with a wheelchair might be an issue getting on board the boat. A new exhibition of the civilian Captain of the boat has just been put on display and the family was visiting the day we attended.

A major disappointment. Really overpriced for the meager collection on two floors. Primarily aimed at kids with a few historic curios & video displays with a few animated steam engine displays. They have 3 disabled parking bays. But they are very difficult to find & the local security guy tried to stop us ever reaching them. Friendly staff & there is a boat ride (when it's running). The docks & buildings are far more interesting. I'd just walk around them for an hour & take pictures. Obviously a superb place once. You can also see a massive dredger outside.

I hoped for more, considering that the museum has 2 stars (out of 3) in the Michelin Green Guide. The Severn cruise isn’t nothing special either. The museum itself provides the basic info (well explained) for you to understand the english canals.

The surrounding area around museum, the rejuvanation of the docks is fantastic, the old warehouses may have been altered from their original purpose but are still emblazoned with their original warehouse names, lots to see and do.

A museum focusing on the history of Gloucester Docks and the waterway including the canal and out to sea. Lots of short films and signs to read about the exhibits. Worth a visit for an hour or two. Quite a lot of interest for kids too.

It's worth a visit if you're interested in the history of the Gloucestershire Regiment. The story begins in 1694, travels through the Napoleonic Wars, the Age of Empire, Worlds Wars, Korea and right up to modern day conflicts.

Wonderful museum in the heart of the docks . The museum has many exhibits following hundreds of years of military history. The museum contains a shop and a cafe. The museum is also reasonably priced for families.

Didn't actually go into the museum and only had a coffee and shopped at the gift store. Just in that small area we were enthused so we will go back. Park in the historic docks pay and display carpark and walk 200m to the northern end of the docks.

This small museum is a heart-felt homage for all Gloucestershire soldiers in the past 250 years. The museum’s commendable curators have done their best with evidently limited resources. The museum’s historiography is devoid of woke ideology –something to be truly appreciated nowadays. A recommendable place only to those who are attracted to war history and other military issues.

Very nice museum, I really enjoyed my visit there. It has a lot of information and it's very detailed about all the battles and events. You can try real military equipment on and some uniforms. They also have a lovely gift shop. Would definitely recommend it!

Great place to visit. The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum is located in Gloucester’s Historic Docks. We reopened in April 2014 after a significant Heritage Lottery funded refurbishment. Come and discover the lives of Gloucestershire soldiers from the last 300 years. Try on Army uniforms, look into a First World War trench, learn about medals and how soldiers won them through history with our interactive displays. Do you know how the Gloucestershire Regiment won the Back Badge? See how the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars survived fighting in the desert? Have you felt how heavy a Rifleman’s rucksack is? With changing exhibitions and our Soldiers of the Month display, there is always something new to see. There is plenty for the whole family to do, children's games, uniforms to try on plus a free quiz. Our story begins in 1694, travels through the Napoleonic Wars, the Age of Empire, Worlds Wars, Korea and right up to modern day conflicts. Come and discover the stories of twelve generations of Gloucestershire soldiers.

Decent museum, on the docks, detailing the history of the Gloucestershire regiments, all the wars, and battles they were engaged in. It's a fascinating piece of military history, it covers various wars from boer to Afghanistan. They have a few Victoria crosses on display, lots of interactive displays for kids, dress up, real military gear so you can feel the weight. There's a small shop in front, and a small cafe. If you pay using gift aid then you get a year round ticket. Interesting for adults and kids alike.

Loved the museum and so did the kids. Wonderfully laid out and offers something for both the adults as well as the kids. Parking nearby is possible but it's a nightmare. Entry prices are great and really reasonable with £10 for a family with 2 adults and 3 children. Lots to see and there are interactive computer screens available for the kids and the adults. There is a dress up at the end and a gift shop as well so you will have a great time exploring the interesting history of the soldiers if Gloucestershire and their noble and varied history

We had a fantastic visit to this museum. Parking is well signposted ( Gloucester Quays) and is a few minutes walk. The staff at the museum were friendly and it is a well laid out and informative experience. There’s a good mix of personal anecdotes with the bigger picture. There’s a fun dressing up section too, I never realised how heavy modern body armour was! Good fun and great value.

Art in Nature at Wallsworth Hall near Gloucestershire is a brilliant place to visit. There are lots of lovely art work; paintings, tapestries, ceramics and sculptures to see. They have temporary exhibitions upstairs. There is a lift to the top floor. The outside sculptures are really worth braving the elements for. There is a great cafe serving, coffees, teas, cakes and lunches. Car parking is free. There is disabled parking near the house. They have a great team of staff. They are all very welcoming.

An interesting place to visit with plenty of various types of artistic genre's. As there is quie a lot of things to see outside it was good the weather was favourable. Inside the House were a good selection of Paintings, Sculpture, Carvings etc. etc. so plenty to see. There was also an outdoor studio with exhibits from local artists. A Cafe Inside provided a selection of food of a good quality. Supplied by helpful and obliging staff.

Fantastic day out, so much to see and do. If you love art of many types, from sculpture to paintings, photography, textiles, glass clay, and more this is the place. Not overly expensive, cafe and toilet on site, plenty of parking

Gallery dealing with the natural world in art. Good selection and variety of animal and avian subjects. Particularly liked the large pencil Otter drawing and the Cheetah. A pleasant wander around the garden featuring animal sculptures made from reclaimed metals. Cafe was fine, if small. Overall, a good hour or so well enjoyed, just slightly disappointed that photography was not permitted indoors.

Beautiful place.The art in the house is stunning, lovely outside space, very nice cafe and wonderful staff.

A delightful experience. A great variety of pictures and interesting sculptures in the gaden. Thoroughly enjoyed the Thelwell exhibition and the watching and talking to the artist in residence Simon, revealed the skill of the artists.

Excellent however, quite a small art exhibition but really lovely pieces of work and well worth a visit. Whilst we were there they had Nicholas Jones's Artic Visions exhibition which is quite frankly stunning. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming and it's the same in the café with very tasty food too. We will be back in better weather so we might enjoy the art garden too.

Great museum. Very friendly staff. Easy to park. Went to see the Bird Photographer of the year exhibition which was well curated. Stunning sculptures in the grounds.

Visited on a lovely warm autumn day. This museum is a real gem. The gardens and café are free to enter, and there is plenty of free parking. There is a small charge for entry to the galleries inside the fabulous 18th century house. The garden exhibited many intriguing sculptures. The food in the café was excellent, and all the staff in house and café were very friendly and helpful. We had only half a day and not enough time to see all the museum had to offer. Try to have a full day to get the best, or return another day. Altogether a delightful morning out.

Lovely visit, with some amazing sculptures. The art and photography collection is beautiful. My only downside was that a few of the garden sculptures are overgrown, and not entirely sure why or what they are meant to be. Other than that, a fantastic visit.

Good exhibits, but I could only visit because people helped me to get in and out of the place. (I'm a walking disabled person with poor mobility. There's a ramp to go into the building, for instance, but no handrails by the ramp. Or else there are a couple of shallow steps to negotiate.

My boyfriend brought me here after he went as a child, and I enjoyed the visit, some beautiful artwork on display in a beautiful building. The gardens were also very lovely and we enjoyed lunch and a drink in the sun.

It is a small local art gallery displaying drawing, paintings, furniture, decoration, art piece, etc, inspired by nature. There is a wildlife photographer exhibition running now which brings me to this gallery. There is small beautiful outdoor garden too. Unfortunately that I am on rush to leave and not able to take a look. Please note that you are not able to find this place by using the official postal code but require to drive 3 mins further from the given postal code. I believe the gallery is aware of this, and it seems that they will do something to give clearer signage on this.

Great Stadium with a fantastic atmosphere. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the food choice was a bit limited but decent quality. The lager was not cold enough, and there are nowhere near enough Ladies loos.

Visited for first time Friday. Great set up from ticket office staff, to those in the shop to the green fleece helpers. Well organised, good game against Quins with a fun atmosphere.

Took my Nephew last Friday Night. Good Atmosphere. Food was nice that we had. Good view about half way up in the main stand. Liked the Speedy Skips Advertisment behind the posts.

Great atmosphere for myself and my family in the Shed. Unfortunately my mother suffered a torrent of abuse in the seated stands from one particular "fan" just because she happened to be Welsh. We were attending a Gloucester v Bristol game so it's not even as if a Welsh team was involved. This particular gentleman was very fortunate that myself, my brother or my nephew were not in the same area. Great ground, great atmosphere but let down by border town mentality against a disabled 64 year old woman sat with her 2 daughter in laws and 10 year old grandson.

Stadium was OK but their it system for the bars was a joke. Unable to get refunds on any of our empty glasses glasses at the end so lost out on over £20.

Had a beautiful evening, as guests to the main sponsor. Great views, great atmosphere and good company with good hospitality food and very smiley, warm staff

Great rugby from both sides on the new surface which plays fairly and looks like it's safe to tackle on. Friendly locals in the pub and the ground- even if you are supporting Bath! Food and drink service was relatively speedy. Good views from our seats. Floodlights are really good too. First time I've been for a while and it's highly recommended for a fun day out

Another great event ran by Sterling Mix & Mingle again. The Stadium is fantastic for events and the team that look after us ate always friendly and on hand to help! Added extra was watching Gloucester-Hartpury Women RFC!

I'm afraid to say, I expected a little bit more from Kingsholm. We had seats in the Malvern Tyres stand, row R. It's not immediately apparent when buying tickets but the slope of the stands is very low on the seats closest to the pitch and the angle only really increases as you get past the row we were in. We felt the view wasn't great and would have been better off a few rows further back. It was surprising to see the bars still using the flimsy, single use plastic pint glasses. I thought most places had moved to reusable by now. The rugby was good, Gloucester were definitely the better side and it was impressive to see Mercer in action.

Really enjoyed the match last Saturday. Great atmosphere and staff.

First time visiting and absolutely loved the experience I was bought tickets for my birthday from my partner for the Gloucester v Bath we had fabulous seats.

Amazing day. Easy entry. Clean facilities. Wonderful cider. Great match and a Magical result from Gloucester. Very friendly crowd. Will return.

This is a great 16 miles of flat and well maintained tow path. Used by pedestrians and a few bikers. Safe for children on small bikes. Extremely scenic and well looked after. DO it in sections and savour the tranquillity. Great for wildlife.

To review all 16 miles of the canal as a whole is a hard task! The scenery, landscape and wildlife vary over a very short distance (For example, the closer to Sharpness you get, the more the River Severn is visible). I walked sections of the canal to get from "A to B," for years before falling in love with it proper. One day whilst out walking, I happened upon the site of the former Hardwicke Bridge. This ignited my interest in the bridges, and began my walking of the canal from bridge-to-bridge. From Gloucester Docks, the tow path passes many areas of interest, including but not limited to; Llanthony Secunda Priory, Saul Junction, Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Purton Ships Graveyard and the former site of the Severn Railway Bridge. [I walked a lot of the sections with my young family, certain sections (i.e. from Sellars Bridge to Parkend Bridge) are not pushchair friendly when it has been raining) and it gets very narrow in other places (Purton Bridges to Patch Bridge)].

Beautiful canal with an excellent cycle route that leads straight into the centre of Gloucester. You can see various house boats dotted up the canal which is always quite interesting.

Great place to go if you want some peace and quiet or if you want to admire nature!

Miles of beautiful (and wide) canal stretching from the heart of the city, running parallel to the River Severn for several miles before joining it at Sharpness docks. The canal offers great, easy walking and cycling, superb coarse and predator fishing with most coarse fish available as well as specimen Zander, Perch and Pike (£4 day tickets available in local tackle shops and on the bank). Lots of wildlife can be spotted or heard, including Kingfishers, Heron, Bittern, Crane and many other wildfowl.... The canal passes Slimbridge Wildfowl trust so presents plenty of Birdspotting opportunities. I've also seen Mink and Otter on the canal. With the City at one end and several pubs, cafés, canal trips and boat hires, along the route there really is a lot to enjoy here.

Stayed one night for my birthday. Wine tasting in the afternoon. Dinner was superb 👌 don't order to many dishes! . Food was delicious. Service excellent say hello to Gill excellent waitress thanks Gill see you again soon. The room's very spacious and clean 👌. The view's from the room's spectacular. We will back .

We only went for dinner one evening rather than staying over. Tapas Food was nice and staff were lovely. Slim on wine choices due to only offering their own. Quick service. Golf Club style restaurant lacked a little atmosphere as we were on a small table very close to reception. Some nice family areas within the restaurant area though.

If you want to get away from it all (and who doesn't, with the Covid madness that is raging as I post this?) then seriously consider coming here. We took a two-night stay, booking a lodge room. I can't speak for the other accommodation, obviously, but the quiet is incredible - occasional pheasant notwithstanding... the lodge rooms are about 500 yards from the main building, down a well-lit gravel road, in the centre of the vineyard. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and the ensuite bathroom (big claw-foot bath and walk-in shower) is perfect. The underfloor heating is wonderful. Around you, pheasants, moorhens, rabbits and other birds are not terribly disturbed by your presence, as you walk around the vineyard. Sitting on the adirondack chairs outside (even in winter sunshine) the quiet is so relaxing. I imagine you might spend an awful lot of time out here in the summer months. The bed is extremely firm, be prepared for that, but I can't fault it, otherwise. The restaurant is pristine, tables well spaced, and the staff are very efficient. It serves Tapas, with a wide menu, and everything freshly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, the preparation is really good, and very tasty. Have a glass of their cuvee to start with, it's excellent, and you get a large glass, too! Didn't want Tapas two nights running, so we found a local pub for our second night. You order your breakfasts (and choose times) beforehand, and a big plus for me was that marmite was included, I didn't have to ask for it... The wine tour - included in the price - was very informative, and it must be great to be here when bottling is happening. Generous tasting of 5 wines gives you a great idea of what they produce, all of which are on sale in their shop. All in all, an excellent stay. If the world settles down, I'd love to do the this again in the summer

We had a great time there. The rooms are fairly ordinary, you're paying for the view and the setting. However, they were clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The restaurant food at dinner was delicious, fresh and with plenty of options for vegetarians.

Stayed here 1st weekend in December. Did the wine tasting, lodge stay, breakfast and dinner combo as a winter package. Priced fairly IMO. Wines not my thing however it was a present for the other half. Bart took the wine tasting, very knowledgeable and helpful, explained lots of stuff and improved my knowledge and appreciation of how it's made and the lengths they go to. The lodge itself is a bit of a shed, tho comfortable needs a bit of TLC. Stayed in Hereford, RHS of the floor next to the bed gets very hot. Went in the middle of winter, which was a shame as the grapes had been harvested and we joked it kinda looked like a cemetery with all the metal crosses for the individual vines. The meal and breakfast were outstanding and so was the service. The wines and beer which I recommend were very well priced also. A good stay. If we do it again it'll definitely be in the middle of summer where you get better views. Really was a shame as it was frosty the week before and that would of looked awesome.

Oh my...what a little gem of a place! We had a drink out on the lawn...1st time we've cooled down in 2 weeks! Then went inside for food. The menu is Tapas style. Plenty of choice for meat eaters, cheese and fish lovers and vegetarians as well. We had a bottle of the sparkling wine...fruity, crisp and delicious and we tried the 2 reds that the vineyard produce...Ravenhill coming out on top. It is a little pricey but it makes a great place as a treat or special occasion. Definitely worth it. The staff are lovely and we had the best waitress Sharon...she was friendly and chatty. Overall best night out in a long time! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Well done 👍😊

Some if not all the rooms are located in a low level building overlooking the vinyard. All rooms have a patio with recliner chairs, and are shielded by planting and a veranda. On a day like ours the views and atmosphere were delightful. The rooms have been pretty well thought out and have all the usual luxuries. I would love to have awoken to the view, but sadly the beds aren't orientated that way, and the shower was rather lack lustre, being neither very hot or powerful. We had a very nice wine tasting session, which we continued into dinner. I'm no wine expert, but I would say that their sparkling wine is on a par with any French offerings. The two reds were also most enjoyable. The dinner is run along tapas style, which is more than adequate, and served by the most helpful staff. For those of you who have been to The Cape, you will notice certain South African influences, and the whole experience bears many similarities. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Wow - fantastic! A relaxing overnight stay in some wonderful accommodation on the site. The wine tasting was great and the food superb. However, the service was exceptional; friendly and attentive, but not too much. Well worth a visit and we came away with 12 bottles from the shop!

Visited the vineyard for lunch on a gorgeous sunny day and wow, what a location! The restaurant is really lovely, with rustic yet swanky decor and I really liked how it wasn't crowded. The waiting staff were excellent, made us feel every welcome and provided attentive but not overbearing service. We had a cheese sharing board which was top notch and we really enjoyed having a very relaxed lunch admiring the spectacular view through the open french doors. We had a nice walk round the grounds afterwards and bought a bottle of wine to take home. All in all it was a fabulous lazy lunch at a gorgeous venue.

Just returned from the wellness weekend at The 3Choirs Vineyards. I stayed in one of the lodges right out in the heart of the vinyard, was absolutely wonderful, surrounded by the peaceful Herefordshire countryside. The lodge itself was very tastefully furnished, warm and comfortable. This was was part of a wellness weekend organised by Alison who runs the yoga/mindfulness and meditation with gong bath therapy. The food and service was wonderful, the wine tasting was fabulous which was included.if anyone is considering attending one of these weekends then i thoroughly recommend it. Met some lovely people too! We are really hoping that Alison will be running another one next year! 🙏 10 out of 10! ⭐️

We had a voucher we won in raffle so came along- wine tasting for 2 , water & crackers. Unfortunately crackers weren't available so we ordered food as wine on an empty stomach isn't wise. We ordered the beef, fries & chorizo share dishes which were all delicious. We then ordered an share desert which was also delicious. All well presented, the view was beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the vineyards after food. It would be so much nicer on a sunny day.

A nice wineshop and tasting centre for the local wine with good parking and attractive vineyard. The prices were fair and the quality good. A good place for a meal as well with a nice Brasserie area. Nice location for a Weekend Trip Out.

We've been to the three choirs vineyard twice now. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and you can walk through the vines. If you're lucky with the weather, it's breath taking. There's a lovely outside area by the restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the views. They have recently redecorated the rooms which are more modern now. The room was very warm when we arrived. They have recently renovated the walk to the rooms which is now a really lovely garden. The food at the restaurant is tapas style, and it is recommended that you book. The waitress suggested ordering 2-3 dishes for 2. The cheese board for dessert is very nice but very big! Breakfast is quite good as well. We did the wine tasting, where (on a weekday at least) you pick 5 wines to try. This is done independently and we had fun trying to guess the different notes. Overall - a great place to visit.

Had a lovely one-night stay in one of the Lodges with beautiful views of the vineyard all around us. Beautiful bathroom with a stand-alone bath and spacious shower. We went in February, but the sun was shining! Service was impeccable from all the staff (Georgina, Sharon, Marta, Carole and Alex!) Food was fantastic and fair and of course, the wine tasting experience was chilled and at our own pace. Extra points for lanterns for dark walks to the Brasserie and back and prompt service at dinner and breakfast times. Would definitely visit in the summer!

It's a quaint local museum which is well-maintained and contains quite an interesting array of artifacts. There are exhibitions ranging from natural history items (such as dinosaur teeth and claws) found on the landmass of present-day Gloucester, as well as man-made items from various historical periods. Staff were polite here, and the location of the museum is ideal. I saw people of all ages having fun, and the entire environment is very family-friendly.

We went to the Museum of Gloucester today to see what it was all about. Fantastic experience the lady on the front counter was really nice and told Us where to go. We also noticed they had the Star Wars exhibition on as well. So that was fun. If you a fan of star-wars and history then this museum is great fun.

We had a fantastic few hours here with loads for my 4 year old to do. He loved some of the interactive parts - looking for night time animals, building towers, playing in the Roman kitchen, dinosaurs, old games area, duplo, and especially puppet theatre! There were so many activities for kids and I hadn't expected it to be so child friendly. We spent 5 hours there and my son learnt a little about the area we live in. The baby change toilet was clean and had everything I needed. I found it easy to change my newborn there. The cafe has a decent selection of drinks, but we were disappointed by the lack of cake selection. My 4 year old had a kids lunchbox which was a full 2 slice of bread ham sandwich, a packet of crisps and glass of milk. At £5.50 I thought it was a little expensive but we only paid a donation to get in, so it's not an expensive day out. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend and visit again!

I visited this museum during my visit to Gloucester. It was the first week of reopening and unfortunately the upstairs was closed. I was a bit disappointed! I visited the downstairs part which is about the prehistoric, medieval and Roman era of the city. It is interesting but mostly made for kids. I won’t complain as the entry is free but I wished the upstairs was open too.

A little gem, so much local history. Lovely gift shop which wasn't priced too high. Only negative was lift out of order, which is mentioned on website but does disadvantage less mobile visitors.

Fascinating museum full of the history of Gloucester and surrounding areas. From the time of prehistoric times up to modern. If you are able, take a tour or two, underneath the city to the time of the Romans and medieval times. It’s amazing what you walk over every day that predates our times, without even realising. The guide is fabulous, really knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the history and answer questions.

A lovely local museum. It is free to enter and view all the local history. It is very well curated, taking you from the Jurassic period, when Gloucester was under water, through the Roman and medieval periods up to the modern day city. They also have exhibitions for which there is a £4.95 charge. There was plenty to see for free - though it would be worth paying if you didn't remember life in the 80s too well. There is a self service cafe and a small museum shop.

I've been coming here, on and off, all my life and it never ceases to entertain and educate on each visit. The exhibits cover the history going back to prehistoric times. The modern era tends to be represented in the ever changing exhibitions on the first floor. Highlights (for me at least) are world's oldest complete backgammon set and the amazing Celtic Bronze mirror. I do wish that the mirror was displayed better as it's set up high and not in the best light. The staff do an amazing job with information and explanations. Get a guided tour if you can. Definitely call ahead to find out when there are tours of the underground Roman remains and views of the workshops.

This museum is spectacular they always have some kind of attraction. I went when they had an exhibit for famous robots from various movies and television shows. Bring the kids and bring the family everyone will have a blast. They even do tours of the underground roman ruins with a guide who dresses up as one of the roman soldiers. I'm looking forward to seeing the new dinosaurs exhibit in a few days!

Fairly small & cramped Tourist Information Centre, not stocking that many local brochures or leaflets, detailing the surrounding areas! This is not helped by the staff being too busy talking to each other, and a further employee, more concerned talking to the owner of two dogs & asking too many questions about their breeding, when she should of been assisting me, before I got fed up & walked out! As a stranger to the area, I needed help, which I certainly didn't get by any of the staff members, and isn't that what they are paid to do, help the Tourists?

I haven't lived in Gloucester for very long and whenever I needed to ask something, no matter how trivial, I've always come away with a satisfactory answer.

Took my 4year old here for his birthday today. The guy (I didn't get his name) was very good at explaining what to do. The track was great and I loved that it was just him on his own out on track. He took to it like a duck to water and towards the end some cones were put out to give him a little more of a challenge, it was exactly what he needed and did really well with it. Will definitely be going back soon!

Came in for a laser tag party for my son yesterday. My son loves the laser tag and will be coming again, Only concern we had when trying to speak to the "manager " he didn't seem to really care all that much and it didn't help when we had a genuine problem. My hint go to the staff behind the cafe counter. They were brilliant Other than the staff were fabulous. Venue looked lovely and well looked after. I've heard they do axe throwing as well. Might try that with some friends 👍

What a fantastic experience! My son’s 13th birthday and he and his mates had just the best time. Great racing, super friendly staff, and the marshalls really looked after the boys, making sure everyone had a great time while looking after their safety. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lot of people allowed on track at the same time. People who drive into you are allowed to stay on track, no warnings. It was a very poorly organised experience and ended up painful for a 14 year old. I attached a picture of his back bruised after multiple crashes. It seems this place is wishing to be closed. Not impressed by any part of this experience. I suggest that changes need to be made.

My son’s 11th birthday was in JDR Karting, thanks to Richard Gittings and his team. I didn’t have so much fun since I was a teenager… That was also the day I discovered how good is my son on the circuit, I was impressed.

Another fantastic day of laser tag and go-karting. Staff are super helpful and kit is all in great condition. £4 for balaclava and gloves for the karting which you can keep and reuse each time you go. If your scores matter to you its worth making sure your kit number matches your number on the scoreboard so your epic wins are recorded. You can pre-order pizza, chips, etc. for parties and other food and drink is available too when you're there. Lots of fun. Free parking available. A must do families or friends activity!

Easy booking on the website. On arrival, our party was not very welcome. The staff sat on their phones without being acknowledged until I spoke out. The overalls supplied were dirty and riddled with large holes. Apone getting into the gocarts I noticed parts hanging off the steering wheel was bent and part of the throttle cable was frayed and rubbing my ankle when brought to the marshal's attention he said it will be alright they are all like that and walked away. When we got going I was stopped 2 times being shouted at like a naughty school boy i dont appreciate having a foul mouth child tell me off first for going too fast...... are we not on a race track??? Then someone else nudged me upon entering the last corner of the long strip because someone had crashed and the Marshall not putting up a red flag! How am I or the lad who nudged me at fault ??? Employ staff that want to make the business a good memorable place to go not foul mouth school kids!

We paid over three hundred pounds to take our teenage daughter and her friends karting on her birthday.  It wasn't a good experience and it wasn't good value for money. JDR has become really run down and the karts themselves are in a shocking state.  The first I got was undrivable, with steering miles out of alignment and a throttle that worked intermittently or stubbornly jammed on.  The safety video you're compelled to watch tells you to notify a member of staff if you have problems, so I did. The young lady I approached couldn't have been ruder or shown less interest, even as the kart sat in the pits, empty, but still trying to drive forward with its throttle jammed open.  As I was climbing into the replacement kart she reached down, slammed my helmet's visor shut and stalked away.  A deliberate act of rudeness and not how you treat paying customers if expect them to return.  Her attitude was, quite frankly, dreadful. The new kart had its own very alarming handling problems and when the session was over I didn't bother with the sneering marshal, but went to find the manager instead.  To his credit, he handled the situation well.  I was really angry, but he remained calm and checked out the karts, before declaring them okay to race, sending them out with the next group.  In the meantime, we debated whether to even do the second session before discovering one of the marshals had shouted at my daughter's friend because she crashed at the start of the session, reducing her to tears.  She hadn't been karting before and was sufficiently shaken up that she took no further part. Chatting on the way home it was obvious most of the karts were in a really bad state, with bad steering, poor pedals and one which billowed out smoke. Several of the kids also experienced the same level of rudeness and aggression from marshals, who seemed to think it was fine to take out their frustration on a group of nice but inexperienced teenagers. It's a real shame.  We've been to JDR upwards of ten times for birthdays or just for fun, but it's gone really badly downhill.  We've even been there with my wife's scout troop here to do laser tag, but I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my kids or anyone else's here in future. Best avoided.

I can only speak on the axe throwing. I was disappointed with the pricing as the website does not explain it well at all 1 lane can be shared by up to 6 people for the time length you choose, yet you have to pay per person. My bf and I had to pay £20 each for 40 minutes of 1 lane but in the end only got 20 minutes each for £20 because of this poorly explained pricing where as if you are a single person booking you get 1 lane for the full 40 minutes. To me it just didn't make sense.

Great day out with 2 x 11 year olds. Decent venue and the staff are great. Harry (tattooed chap!) looked after them both brilliantly and we highly recommend. The boys loved every minute we’ll be back!

One staff member (Male - long hair, wearing shorts) here was completely disrespectful and rude, you need to sort him out. Unpleasant visit. Randomly getting shouted because I didn’t see the signs. Maybe you guys should brief probably for first time users or put in more warning systems around the court so people can see them clearly or even hear you. Instead of expecting them to know things first time round! Never had any of this problem in any other karting venues! However, I will give credit to the staff members at the reception as they were welcoming and respectful as we came in

Been twice, there is ALWAYS an issue with a car or 2, both times we had to swap cars, which is frustrating. The staff are nice, specially the man with the neck tattos, very understanding. Great track good price!

Great day! Lots to do from karting to laser tag, axe throwing and archery!! It was my first time karting and the manager Richard was honestly so kind and a great sport. Would 100% recommend this place for all your family and friends!

Very unpleasant visit. My partner and her friend, along side with two children booked the junior track at 14:10 on 15/02/24. They arrived earlier but there was someone playing segways and the staff said it would take only 20 minutes and asked if we could get a coffee break and come back, so they did and the last session finished at 14:40. When it was our turns, first the staff did not use the clock in the junior track but claimed he had used his phone without informing us when did he started clocking. Secondly he kept questioning one of the kid whether he is four or not and claiming it is a much faster kart and he might not be able to handle it. This is totally rude and unprofessional because he could have asked before he starts counting the time! Third and lastly, apparently they had a differential treatment because the teaching time was not counted in the segway customer but instead it was counted on us - and it is not shown anywhere in the website that the teaching time is included in the paid time. My partner had felt they were NOT treated fairly so she went and tried to explain our stand points, but the staff kept saying he had 6 years of experience and "you don't understand". What kind of customer services is this? AVOID!

Had my son's 10th birthday party here today. Staff were great and attentive. All felt very safe. Helmets and suits were clean. Karting ran well. The youngest, 8, had a crash and was a little shaken and the staff handled him really well and we had him back out on track in a couple of minutes. Highly recommend this. All the kids left with massive smiles

Great place to bring kids or go with family/friends or groups. I went tubing and had great fun at a reasonable price. The half hr session was just £12 for an adult. I would recommend you bring gloves to save you extra money as they are required to do the activity, but I was told you could purchase them for £2 if you forget.

Took my daughter for a ski lesson. Excellent instructor, George, really gave her confidence. All staff are lovely, very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Good viewing area above cafe, which has a good selection of food and drinks. The hot chocolate was great. An enjoyable time even though I wasn't skiing.

I've been tubing a couple of times with my nephew, and recently have learnt to ski at the slope. Absolutely brilliant instructors. Would HIGHLY recommend.

No thought about access for wheelchair users. My wife called and asked if they were wheelchair accessible and they said they were, but could not provide activities for wheelchair users. So not really accessible at all. We decided to meet with others to take the kids tubing. There was only one disabled parking space and no proper route to the centre from the car park. My wife went to the centre to ask about how I could get in. A young man opened a gate to a very steep and uneven slope that we only just managed because we're strong. We had to move the tubes off the path because it hadn't occurred to him to make room for my chair. The family thought the tubing was OK, but not very exciting. The matting is very aged and tired. I doubt we'll ever come back. I certainly won't. I'm going sit-skiing in Italy next month, pity I can't get any practice in here.

Recommend to join the class to learn how to ski. The instructors, Joe + Harry are extremely nice and patient to teach students how to ski. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable. Appreciate that.

I booked a coaching morning for intermediate skiers a week before going on a ski holiday as i wanted practice before my holiday as i hadn't skied in over 6 years. It was £26 for 2.5 hours with free coffee and biscuits break in the middle the staff were exceptionally friendly and super helpful. I was hesitant about taking the class but 100% recommend to anyone wanting extra confidence about their skiing before going away. Super great value and 2.5 hours was more than enough to get back into skiing, there were many different levels of skiers there but i felt more than comfortable despite only ever attending 1 ski school for a week and 1 dry slope before

I loved my experience. Every staff member was polite and nice. We did an hour ski lesson for beginners. I was so nervous as I have balance issues but from putting on boots, to skis to moving and even managing to stay still on a hill. It was just the right course for a beginner. My son just loved it and it was the right course for him as towards the end he was confident enough to go to near the top of the nursery slope and go down. Chris gave an incredible demonstration that was scaffolded and thorough and very instructional, and kind. Thanks everyone!

Took my 2x children tubing, it was fab, however there lacked an atmosphere. The chap running it didn't seem motivated or seemed to want to be there. No passion, so just put a minor downer on it. The view from the seating area I was quite impressed with. Probably consider going again, but maybe a different activity 🤔

This place contributed greatly to our skiing skills. We visited it a few times before going on a ski holiday for the first time. Because of our circumstances we had an opportunity to try different programs, including 'ski packs', the 'learn to ski day', and generic sessions. The coaches did a great job in all cases. The skiing equipment is OK. There's a nice cafe on site where you can wait/work while your family is skiing. Our subsequent experience on real snow proved the ski slope to be a good investment. We plan to continue visiting it to maintain our new skills.

Kids had a great time. We only went for tubing. Only disappointment was that the slopes aren't long enough.

This centre has ski slopes for beginners and more advanced skiers. They offer a variety of lessons as well as recreational skiing. I joined a ski pack 2 lesson to refresh my skills after 9 years. The session was taught by Terry, who is a very capable and patient coach. The 2 hour lesson suited my skill level very well and progressed at a good speed. At the end of the session I had regained my confidence and feel ready to go up a level and be prepared for my holiday.

Took a couple of little ones here for a tubing session. The ski slope has obviously seen better days (I remember when it was first constructed!) but is still perfectly serviceable. The tubes themselves look brand new. The instructor, Callum, was great: calm, helpful and good at managing young people including nervous first timers. The bar area was clean and tidy and not too expensive.

Had Joe as my instructor for ski pack 1 & 2 yesterday and he was excellent, by the end of the lesson I was turning and managing my speed comfortably, looking forward to doing 3 & 4 with him again. I highly recommend lessons with Joe for anyone starting out on their skiing journey. The ski slope had a great atmosphere, thanks for the great lesson!

If you are looking for a Zoo this is not the place for you. Such a great day out, If you are coming for a flying experience or a dedicated photography day you are in for a treat. Such a special place, with knowledgeable staff.

An absolutely outstanding photography day experience. I learnt so much about the birds themselves, and how to take my wildlife photography to the next level. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Just been today for the first time. Went for my girls birthday and she loved it. My girl and the Mrs held the birds and both want to go again.

Was very different to what I remembered 20 years ago, but they have moved; I had an informative chat with Vince and very much look forward to their plans for the future.

Amazing time had here! Learnt so much and so well explained. They're so passionate and shows. The birds take priority here and go by their timings so expect the schedule to drift a bit over. The birds all seem so happy and proved when they're free without wire or tag yet come back. Support this rescue centre and get booked up for the flying experience

Absolutely fabulous!! If you can go definitely worth it, whether your a keen photographer or you just love seeing the magestic birds of prey, just make sure to book!! Would highly recommend and the staff there are so friendly and chatty, amazing, thank you so much ♥️🦉🦅
