I visited to take photos of the steam locomotives and wasn't disappointed. Located in the Gloucestershire countryside the station at Toddington is beautiful. The staff compared to other heritage railways were very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The two platforms gave very good views of the locomotives and we were treated to more shows than advertised. The on site facilities were very good. The cafe served a decent cuppa, the toilets were clean and the car park costs were very good and not expensive. Well worth a visit.

A heritage train experience that takes you through scenic routes and tunnels that makes the journey enjoyable. Plus you can get down at stations in between and roam around. Great way to explore some of the Cotswold main spots. Very fun and classy experience. The Cheltenham racecourse station has free parking for the GWR railway and is accessible within the racecourse itself. You need to inform the security that you are visiting the railway station and they allow you. It is advisable to buy tickets online for convenience.

We visited on the advice from the lovely lady on reception at Hailes Abbey. We could hear the steam engines whilst we were visiting there. Its a lovely site. Friendly staff. We took a return journey to Broadway. You can do a longer journey to Cheltenham racecourse.l but we opted for the shorter journey today. The tickets were reasonably priced. Loved the comfortable seats and the views are lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Great staffs n great experience, v arrived slightly b4 10am on Easter Monday, n gotta know that the next stream train will b arriving by 1025, v get to take closed up picture with the train n visited the small museum about the history of steam train too. There were a few moving train model running in the museum. The staffs is very proactive, he saw me sitting down working on map, he just approached me and show me where n how to get around in Winchcombe with his great hospitality. The price of the cafe is also very reasonable, gbp 2.50 for soup, gbp 4 for sandwiches. Great experience, must visit as a tourist. The day i visited is purple coded.

Another extraordinary place where railway heritage comes alive. The amazing efforts to present Winchcombe Station are incredible example of what can be achieved with almost a vacant site. All of this fabulous railway and its stations linked together with a wonderful line through the countryside are most worthy of a visit. Top marks for the train operations as well. I hope to return again to experience this great railway.

Amazing experience. The whole rail is an absolute must if you're in the area. It is run mostly by volunteers and they are amazing people. Always with a smile on their face and helpful. The go above and beyond to make you feel great. Thank you Bill and Ian for making the day for 3 train loving children and their parents. I suggest getting the day rover (£110 for 4 adults and 3 children) as you can have the opportunity to go in all the stations along the railway and and enjoy all the different locomotives and carriages they run. Highly recommended

What a wonderful outing! I highly recommend the steam train for any family. It’s run by the friendliest volunteers. My 5 year old loved the trip. We got day pass tickets but we landed up taking the train from Cheltenham to Broadway and spending most of the day there, strolling down the high street and enjoying fish and chips for lunch and a cream tea. The train trip was great! We managed to get some seats in First class (you don’t pay extra) and they were super comfy. There were 2 seater and 4 seater table options. There was also a restaurant car on board with tables and chairs and a variety of food and beverage choices. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed both a steam locomotive and a classic diesel multiple unit at Winchcombe Station. All the volunteers were both friendly and informative. We plan to return again to ride to historic Broadway. Meanwhile Winchcombe town centre, albeit a longish walk, is well worth visiting for its shops, the fascinating museum and historic Sudeley Castle.

What an amazing heritage railway. 14 miles of beautiful scenery. Restored stations and coaches. Took my 94 year old mother and help was at hand to get her on and into a first class seat. Help on hand from Gordon on the return too who was waiting on the station for us. All in all a perfect day, wonderful staff who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. A superb day out. Carers go Free.

Loved this train ride from Cheltenham to Broadway. Took me to a different era. All volunteers and workers were in fantastic spirits which made for a delightful trip. There is no shortage of spots to view along a 14 mile trip, all laid out wonderfully in the guide. Will do this trip again.

A fantastic day out for old and young train lovers. Take a step back to the golden age of steam on this beautiful scenic route. Don't worry diesel lovers the fleet of br blue locomotives is plenty. A fair price for freedom tickets Parking at every station And the staff are always on hand to help.

What a fantastic experience! Took me back to my childhood as my Dad was into model railroads and we would visit a lot of train museums. We bought tickets at the station, but if it's a special event you may want to buy in advance. No queue on our visit. Thoroughly worth the journey on the all volunteer steam train.

Lovely day out Didn't need to pay for parking Beautiful scenery, so lovely to see the race track itself. Enjoyed going on both the diesel train and later the steam train home. Lovely playground in Toddington. The food smells so good, a little pricey but then again it is home made. Lovely picnic area outside the front too. We enjoyed the family time.

A wonderful day out! Our little boy loved getting up close to the animals, petting them and feeding them. The indoor and outdoor play areas are excellent. Our boy didn’t want to go home! The food on offer in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable in price. We will definitely be back.

Visited a couple of times in the last few months. Wonderful venue with lots to do and see. Big open spaces with lots of well looked after animals. It was lambing season, which was particularly interesting to watch the lambs being born live. My child has additional needs, but had no problems on the day. Play parks for young and older children, plus plenty of places for picnics and food/drink can be bought on site. Will definitely be back.

Second time visiting the farm park and first time staying at one of the lodge houses. It was a super fun experience for our family. We stayed at one of the sunset lodges. Spacious house and kids friendly interior. Sturdy built furniture and no fragile decorative gimmicks. Luxurious choices of kitchen utensils and outdoor electric grill. The only downside is the amount of flies entering the house during summer. It would be nice if the windows had a some bug screen. The park is walking distance from the lodge and we got free passes for the duration of the stay. I suggest signing up for their email list because I got a discounted offer to stay here in June.

Fab spot, staff so friendly and helpful, delicious food. The adventure playground was brilliant, especially “the pillows” and zip wire. Fabulous day out! Would recommend. We’ll be back!! We loved the way the adventure park was interspersed with the farm and animals, rather than being segregated. Our 10 year old daughter especially loved handling the chicks, and “the pillows”. We couldn’t get her away from either!! So interesting to read about the conservation work and rare breeds. Thank goodness Mr Joe Henson had the wisdom and foresight to save so many of those rare breeds, or they would have been lost forever. He was definitely a pioneer and before his time, before it became “trendy”! It’s amazing the farm has gone from strength to strength and carries on his legacy All the staff were fantastic and the food delicious! We ate, drank and licked our way round all day!! 🙈 Adam Henson is an absolute gentleman and such a genuine, lovely man!! He was saying hello to everyone on the farm, and some people even got photos with him too.

A great day out for with the kids, and you could literally stay all day long. Lots of fun things to do. Depending on the time of year you can hold the new baby chicks or watch lambs being born, buy a bag of food to feed the very friendly goats etc. and bounce on one of the giant trampolines. This is a very happy place for making memories. 💖

Had an amazing evening here last night. My twins have autism and they really enjoyed the whole experience as did my older daughter. The s'mores and toasted marshmallows and the fire pits was a lovely touch also the the lady singer singing Christmas songs was fab. My daughter loved the silent disco she really enjoyed that as it was a first for her. If you're a send parent looking to book please do it was lovely and we found it really enjoyable as mostly everything was outdoors and everything was wheelchair and pram/buggy friendly. We most definitely love to return here.

Went for the day to the farm, it was cold and rainy, so we were greatful for the 2 big indoor animal petting barns! It was lovely and the indoor play area was awesome for my 6 year old. Definately going to visit in the summer and maybe even camp there.

I enjoyed a visit a few years ago, and came back today (May 1st 2024) with my baby. Facilities are well managed and very clean. All the animals are very friendly and well cared for - However, I did see two animals with quite alarming lumps on them. Animal Petting area was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and perhaps the chillest rabbits I have ever seen. The little fluffy beige bunny deserves all the treats! The staff were also very good with the school trip children, who were present in the barn when we were. High quality play equipment for the children also. Nice to see Adam out and about on the farm, I've seen him both times I've visited. Good to see management being so involved. Restaurant was of medium price range, but well worth it as the food was really really nice! The relatively cheap admission fee makes up for slightly pricy food though. I highly recommend the burgers. We will definitely be back, and will recommend to anyone!

By far the best farm we’ve been to. They have struck the perfect balance between authentic farm and local attraction. We loved that the play areas for the kids was interspersed with the animal areas so you could dip in and out easily. You could easily spend the day here feeding the animals, petting rabbits and Guinea pigs as well as electric tractor rides and the lambing talks. The food offering could be a bit broader because the kiosks in the park only do ham and cheese toasties (albeit very good ones)

Lovely farm. Better when the weather is good. Feel there are less animals at the moment!? My 3 year old boy loved seeing the piglets, feeding the goats and playing on the sand area inside. Saw lambing and was interesting. Nice few hours out ☺️

Myself and my partner visited today. It was a lovely visit in the sunshine. Thoroughly enjoyed feeding all the animals outside and even got to bottle feed some lambs! It's a great place for kids as lots of play equipment but was also nice for couples like us who enjoy the outdoors and interacting with lots of animals! I would highly recommend buying the animal feed, it's great fun to go around and feed the animals! Overall a lovely day out ☺️

Amazing for adults and kids of all ages. Our 3 year old played with the pretend tractor and the trampoline the whole time while my husband and I took turns seeing the beautiful and rare animal breeds and reading about their historical context. Interesting way to learn about the history of the UK. I’ve heard it’s busy on the weekends and during holidays. Wasn’t busy at all on a random Thursday morning

It's been a great day. I went with my 10-year-old daughter and she enjoyed it like never before. The place is spectacular, with all the necessary services to feel comfortable. Outdoor and covered bathrooms and picnic areas, areas to have a coffee and a soft drink while the little ones enjoy the animals. All the animals and their plots very clean. The staff pleasant and attentive. Without a doubt, this place is worth having as a reference.

Stayed here in our caravan over half term as a base for looking after our grandson. The caravan site has pitches ranging from basic to fully serviced all with plenty of space. The toilet block is clean and warm. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, especially Mel.

This is an amazing day out for all of the family. The layout of the farm park is well thought out. Farm animals dotted around waiting for a stroke or tasty treats. Excellent play facilities to keep the kids busy. Lots of rare breed animals being well cared for. Stunning views whilst having a picnic it a coffee. Food in the Ox Shed is lovely. We visited during October half term so went in the pumpkin patch, rode the go karts and took lots of cool pictures. Opportunities to meet the farm animals during the day with lots of chicks, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and many more. We loved the 2 mummy pigs and their piglets and the beautiful cows so much. We loved it so much here we didn't want to leave!

Today we had the most wonderful experience at Cotswold Farm Park and simply had to leave a glowing review! Everything was top-notch from the moment we arrived, starting with the spotless and well-maintained facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, radiating genuine passion for the animals and the park itself. Their enthusiasm added a truly special touch to our day. The farm animals were the true stars of the show! We loved seeing so many amazing creatures in their spacious and well-appointed enclosures. What really stood out was their approachability. We got to see curious goats, watch playful piglets frolic, and even share a gentle moment with a curious cow. It was a privilege to get so close to these beautiful animals. We highly recommend Cotswold Farm Park to anyone looking for a fantastic day out in the Cotswolds!

Excellent day out. First time here as a birthday treat. We were very impressed with the whole feel of the park, from the interactive enclosures and barns to the woodland trail. Lots of information and plenty of friendly staff around. The toilets were very clean and there were hand-washing stations throughout the park. We were spoilt for choice for tasty food and there was surely something for everyone from cakes or snacks to full meals. Two highlights of the visit were being able to bottle feed the lambs and watching the very entertaining piglets. The animals all seemed happy and very well cared for. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

A cool, breezy day when we visited with our small family group. £20 ea was a bit steep, but hey ho it wasn't raining. Enjoyed feeding the goats (there's a lot of them!) and the kiddies liked their section too. This was a cool, windy day and it was mega busy. Must be impossible here on a warm Bank Holiday with crowds.....

Delightful place to bring your kids while indulging your inner child. A farm which doesn't smell! And has clean and well kept animals. Lots to do for the young ones, from feeding the animals, bouncing in the playground and exploring the wooded areas. Bottle feeding the lambs is very popular and the queue is very long, so make sure you get there early. Very informative.

Brilliant day out with the family. We were there for hours, lots to see and do, animals to get up close to and feed. Lots of play equipment for children to roam and burn off energy. Interactive areas and friendly staff. Food was really nice and reasonably priced too which was nice as often at these attractions the food is poor. To finish the day off, we met Adam on the way out who was very happy to chat! Well worth a visit.

Quaint. Cottages are nicely furnished, all the right appliances, dishes, mini fridge, coffee, tea, etc. Rooms are not cramped, clean. When we visited it was super quiet, no city noises, just nature (birds, some sheep). Activities: * Trail: there's a trail around where the sheep graze with some fun facts. Kids had fun on it, not much to see except nature, allowing the kids to refocus on nature and find interesting things to see. Example: they tried to communicate with sheep for a few minutes. * Farm park: lots of animals to feed, less to pet but still plenty. Lots of areas for kids to play indoors and outdoors. Milk feeding was great. Random notes: 1. No AC in cottages. 2. Doors in the cottages: to lock pull up on handles then turn key. 3. BBQ set that we got was fantastic, two meals worth. One kid said that it was the best milk ever.

Entry is very expensive. It's fun for kids , but really not enough to justify the cost. Food was good, above average prices, but acceptable. First visit in about two decades, enjoyed it, maybe I'll go back if I live long enough to take great grandchildren next.

Loved the light show experience. It was well thought out and set up, with lots to engage children and adults alike. Just very disappointed with the meal in the restaurant we had after our visit. The burgers were cremated, and tasted burnt. Given the cost of the food, we had expected better. Still worth it for the light show!

We booked to visit this park the day before, and for a family of four, for little over £50, I think it was a little pricey, especially as food for animals wasn't included. We were, however, pleasantly surprised at how close one could get to various animals, and the delight my children experienced with the interaction. (My son got rather attached to a certain goat near the main entrance.) There are lots of animals, that seem well cared for. There are benches at various points around the park, and there are viewing points to get a different perspective on things. The indoor animals were gorgeous. I loved the baby chick handling experience, and so did my children. So cute! We didn't eat here, so I cannot comment on those facilities. I do think the toilets needed upgrading, and employing someone to freshen them up a couple of times a day wouldn't hurt. They were dirty, smelly, and definitely not pleasant to use. Also, a personal preference here, but I don't agree with unisex toilets. Male and female are two different sexes, and I like to maintain that fact when using the facilities.

We headed here for a lazy Saturday morning brunch. It was easy to find and the car park was large, although very full. When we arrived, there was a queue at one entrance and we panicked slightly thinking we wouldn’t get served breakfast. However, we didn’t have worried as it was actually the queue for the kiddies animal farm. Now that our kids are grown adults, we didn’t need to visit there anymore! The restaurant was through the shop entrance, and we were a little disappointed initially that there was only one person serving drinks and taking breakfast orders. However, while we were in the queue, agency staff arrived and immediately set to work. We ordered the full English breakfast - there were only a couple of of choices for breakfast anyway - and were pleased with the portion size and quality of the food. The seating area was empty when we were eating. We thought that once the parents had tired out their kids around the animal farm, the restaurant would be very full. Overall, this was a good experience, and if we are in the area again, we would definitely go back.

Brilliant day, my wife enjoyed the bottle feeding experience. We loved feeding the animals, all of which are clearly well looked after. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great facilities on site, from wet weather set up and hand wash stations. Pleanty of options for food from eat your own facilities, snacks and everything in between right up to full meals. We ate in the Ox House and the food and service was spot on value for money, there is an alcohol bar, soft and hot drinks, the hot chocolate looked amazing. Definitely well worth a visit, very informative, you will learn things during your visit. All in all a great family day out and plenty of parking.

Great day out with little people and we will be going back! We enjoyed the playgrounds, sandpits, air pillows and ride on tractors. We saw new born lambs and chicks, petted rabbits and chicks, and fed the sheep and highland cattle. Lots more to do next time with rare breed and woodland walks, and the mud kitchen/woodland play. Accessible with a buggy. Good hand washing stations.

Only visited the Farm Park area plus we went for a lovely walk on one of the routes that you can do. The staff were all lovely, welcoming and helpful with any questions. We bought some animal feed bags for £1.50 ea which we thought was a very reasonable price especially as this place is very much aimed at younger ones. My biggest grip with this place us that I have tried contacting them via email and phone and not once have we received a response. That is not a very welcoming act!! The farm shop itself was not as we expected with very little in the way of farm products (meat veg etc) but again lots of toys for children. There were local beers there but again if promoting local then some of this has travelled many miles. The cafe was clean and tidy with everything at hand that you would expect. Very friendly and helpful staff at hand and all food was cooked fresh. The toilets were clean and tidy with hot water and soap and of a good size. Considering we travelled up from Bristol especially to visit we did leave a little underwhelmed

Kids really enjoyed it here and we've booked up for the camping in a few weeks time. It might be a good idea to have a separate counter for people wanting drinks, as we had to wait around 30 minutes to get the kids some pop and some a few teas near the park area. Great place though I'm happy to recommend it.

Such a great day out! It’s a cliche but it really is fun for all the family. The chick barn, lamb shed, bouncy dome and Easter trail with chocolate prizes were highlights. The staff were all really lovely, and the walkway is really nicely designed and quite unique (compared to other farm attractions I’ve visited).

A beautiful serene park built around a big lake. It has a boating area as well as dedicated fishing piers. The walking trail makes for a good view of the entire lake and is dog friendly. There is a resident swan of the lake which can be spotted at times. Definitely worth a visit for a leisurely walk in the park.

A fabulous little park with no end of play equipment. Some interesting birds and rabbits in an aviary, and plenty of free roaming birds on the lakes. A family of swans are always about, and a lot of friendly squirrels are always running around. If you're lucky you'll spot a kingfisher on the lower lake, or a heron skulking around. Woodpeckers, treecreepers and Jays for the birdwatchers, and a coffee shop for their bored partners.

Lovely place to take your kids and spend time. Lot of activities for kids both adventures plays as well as normal ones. Can see few hens, bunnies, birds and pigeons as well. Beautiful pond as well nearby to spend time. Suitable for adults as well to go for a walk. Free parking in few mins walkable distance.

Really nice and clean park. Toilets were provided. The kids playare were so nice and suite different ages.

A beautiful park with a lake to walk round , sports facilities, play parks and lots of green space. Unfortunately this does result in a lot of untrained and out of control dogs, depending on what time of day you go. Not a good place to walk anxious dogs but a nice place for families to go if they’re dogs are confident! We got some lovely wedding pictures there too!

Pitville Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the United Kingdom. It had a lake, Pitville Pump Room, three cafes dotted about and public toilets. There is a children's playground and tennis courts.

It’s such a stunning park! We took our son there for a bike ride. The play area is massive and if you go through the tunnel to the other side of the road, there’s a gorgeous walk around the pond there too. There were plenty of ducks and even some swans.

Brilliant park! Lots of things to do with the little ones! great for dogs. Beautiful and clean 🥰 I must admit, I feel a little bad for the birds and other animals locked in the cages with no supervision or protection, but apart from that perfect place to visit 🥰

It's always nice to walk I this park. Large kids playground with a mini zoo, before 5 p. m. you can enjoy coffee, ice creams, or sandwiches from one of the 3 coffee shops. Highly recommend it.

If you are thinking of visiting the Pittville Pump rooms, they are currently closed for refurbishment. There is a cafe with a limited menu, and walk in the grounds to the lake.

Great view summer, winter fall you name it. It's always beautiful. It's a dog friendly park and I love spending at least an hour walking around and spending some time on the benches facing the lake.

Absolutely beautiful park and the play area is one of the best I've seen. They serve ice cream there and are inclusive of everyone with vegan ice cream and cones and gluten free cones. I didn't take any photos of the play area because of all the children around but it's guaranteed to excite any child.

Gold Cup Day for us, And our first visit, Had a Ball, Obviously a huge week for racing and thousands of visitors but very very well run, Everyone having a great time drinking lots but didn’t see any trouble, Well done to the organisers. Food in VIP Boxes ok with good service, Great view of the race, will definitely look to go next year…

This place has a lovely vibe and is so electric and excellent. Gold cup days can be packed out. The facilities are really great and the food provided is very good quality. The bars and catering areas are well trained. In conclusion, the racecourse caters for the serious race punters to people who want a great experience and day out. They bet on £1000+

The racecourse has developed massively over recent years and is now a venue for much more than just horse racing. It's easy to park and simple to navigate around the facilities. Only surprise is that the vast amount of ground to the north of the track is not used for something productive.. a golf course or camping site maybe?

Fantastic racecourse with excellent facilities and top class racing at the November festival. Only criticism would be the prices, pint of 7.15 is a rip off and drug taking was on open display in the toilets around the racecourse with no visible security presence. Staff were in the main friendly and I used a bus to get to course without issue. I will be back.

Great racecourse. Visited recently for the Cheltenham Festival, and was pleasantly surprised. Club Enclosure is well worth it, and staff were very friendly. Food and drink was expensive, but nowhere near as bad as expected and would say was definitely in line with other racecourses and outdoor event places. Clean racecourse with great facilities, would return again.

The New Year’s Day races were really fun as it was my first time going. Didn’t do as well on the bets but it was just a bit of fun. Great venue and great viewing points

My first time there and it didn't dissappoint great atmosphere. Only problem was getting onto the buses at the end. We'll organised with plenty of buses, but the queues were horrendous and people were feral pushing and shoving there way to the front to get on the buses!

I’ve been coming to the Cheltenham race festival at the course, for a number of years. The vibe of the place has always been excellent. Gold cup days can be packed out. The facilities there are great and the food provided is very good quality. The bars and catering areas are well staffed. Overall the racecourse caters for the serious race punters to people who want a great experience and day out.

Attend a couple of meets every year, but The Festival is the highlight! Great facilities, plenty of food and drink choices, and reasonably priced for an event! Helpful, friendly staff on hand to help too.

Had a great day here for the Gold Cup with some work mates only problem I had is I didn't win anything!!!! But what a view we had from our balcony. The whole day was great helpful staff and all the drinks and food brought to the table if you asked great day had such a laugh 🍾🍾😁

Love going to the Cheltenham Festival. The best of the best horses. I just find that over the last 15 years from when I first went to Cheltenham the prices have went through the roof. Drink accomodation and tickets into the races. What I disliked the most was they had so many different races for these horses you get so many odds on shots. The best horses around the same distance don't take one another on.

Absolutely loved the Cheltenham races. So much fun and a great vibe. Obviously the drinks are very expensive but I guess that is expected for the Cheltenham races. It was such a fun experience and I would definitely return

Amazing atmosphere would definitely go agsin went in the tats more expensive than the best mate enclosure but worth it. We'll definitely be back!!

The theatre itself was well positioned within the town centre and easily accessible for parking. This would have been a 5-star review but the seats we had were very wobbly, making the performance less enjoyable than it could have been. Staff were friendly and polite.

I visited the theatre to watch Heathers the musical on tour, and it was a great experience. The venue is small so even sitting on the last row of stalls, you didn’t feel far away from the stage. The tickets weren’t marked as obstructed/partially obstructed from the overhang online, which is the reason it’s only getting 4 stars. The cast are all short so nothing was missed on the top part of the stage. Lots of leg room and drinks are cheap.

great theatre! it has so many seats and you can get a brilliant view of the stage. there is always an impressive show to watch. the interior looks incredible and the seats are very comfortable. the staff are quite nice and there are lots of refreshments to choose from. thanks!

Absolutely beautiful theatre. I took two of my daughters there this evening to watch Hairspray, which was brilliant. Great parking facilities and easy access to the theatre. All the staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂

Fabulous theatre. Went to see Girl From The North Country which is a great show. Very friendly and helpful front of house people, particularly the box office manager who helped me and my daughter with our tickets and seat suggestion. Will definitely be returning for another production.

This really is such a beautiful gem in Cheltenham. Whether you're seeing a show or have booked a tour, you will not be disappointed! The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. I've only had coffee and cake here but I can say that they were delicious. To learn of the amount of planning and construction with the sets and lights, not to mention the number of people who work back stage, was a real eye opener when we did the tour. I love it here, and it's so important that we support local venues like this so the future generations can continue to appreciate it.

Thanks to The Everyman and the cast & crew of Magic Goes Wrong for another fantastic night. The evening was very well managed, the staff were great, and the view of the stage terrific.

Beautiful theatre. Attentive staff. Good toilet facilities. Wish the kids boosters were more comfortable.

Having frequented over many years, performances have always been well organised and easy to access. Bar waiting times have been reasonable and the establishment is clean. Staff encountered have been friendly and helpful and haven't seen a bad show. Easy and convenient parking next door at the Regent Arcade car park with direct access.

Absolutely stunning interior and lovely, friendly staff. The toilets are on the small side but not a big problem and there is a cafe inside as well the usual confection area.

Went to see ‘Peter pan goes wrong’ here, beautiful theatre. Able to come about 5 minutes before start and didn’t feel rushed. Could be slightly cramped if you are very tall or large.

This is a great theatre in the centre of Cheltenham. It is stunning inside with plenty of space when seated. They are very quick with service at the interval of a quick iced cream or drink is needed. The carpark is easy to access and nice and cheap after 5.30 (£3 for the evening)

Been here yesterday. It is a lovely place with very friendly staff. Quite impressive theatre. And the artists were professional. But! Seats are a nightmare. I'm quite short and my knees were rubbing against the seat in front of me. It was quite painful really. My partner was struggling even more than me. So we left at the mid break. The gap between rows is so small that it is very dangerous to walk in front of people to sit. As matter of fact I almost fell on the people sitting in the row in front. Also I do not understand why it is not allowed to use the middle stairs in the balcony area. That would ease a lot to sit and leave. Quite disappointed that I paid 70£ for two tickets to sit in a rabbit cage. Been to many theatres here in the UK and this had by far the worse seats. I would have been better off to stand and see.

Shrek was excellent. It was a big show to fit on the Everyman stage, but they did an awesome job - the house was packed, and the audience loved the show! Understudy Jessica Lim played The Dragon, and did an incredible job - there were several really strong singers in the cast, but we were particularly impressed by her performance. I wish she'd had a bigger part! Overall, the show was amazing and I'd happily pay to watch it multiple times, especially somewhere as convenient to reach as the Everyman. More touring musicals please!

Great little theatre in the town centre of Cheltenham, very pleasant and helpful staff, a little bit chaotic in the interval with a long queue for the ladies but it didn't spoil the night. Went to see Peter Pan goes wrong, still laughing days later as it was an amazingly funny show. Won't hesitate to see a show at this theatre in the future.

Beautiful venue, had such a great time seeing Six the musical. Was blown away at the decor inside.

First time at Everyman Theatre Cheltenham. Saw Sister Act and it is an amazing show. The cast performance was outstanding. The theatre is lovely, clean and full of character. We were in Row E in the stalls and our view was excellent. The theatre is a nice size and feels intimate but with good views from all of the seats. I cannot wait to go back for another show!

The Everyman is a great theatre. Easy access from the car park though the steps are slightly on the small size so take care. Once inside the theatre all is good. The stalls are comfortable with unrestricted views except the very back where the height is restricted but wouldn’t think that would be a problem for most shows. There are two bars, the upstairs bar being the larger.

Went to see Tim Rice at the Everyman and it was a very good show. However, the seating in the grand circle is appalling. I am only 5’7”” tall but even for me the leg room was ridiculous. The gap between our seats and the back of the seats in front was so close that I could not sit without spread legs and even then could not comfortably. My knees were pressed against the eat back so painfully that I had to stand for much of the I feel it is scandalous to regard these seats as acceptable and I dread to think how a taller person would have coped. Sadly we will be returning to the Everyman but would rather go to the Belgrade or the RSC.

Had a brilliant day at this exciting reincarnation of the Wilson! Came as a family with our young son and there was something for all of us. Had a gorgeous lunch in the cafe, which was such a lovely open space made engaging and inspiring by art work and even home made wallpapers relevant to the collection and Cheltenham. Food was gorgeous and very reasonably priced! Brilliant lunch box deal for kids too. The exhibition spaces were beautifully curated and really interesting. Particularly loved the wow gallery for kids! And delving through the archive drawers which really made me feel connected to the collection. Not to mention the arts and crafts space which was a triumph, and loved the interactive space where we discovered local arts and crafts practices and practitioners. Can’t wait to see what they do next here as they continue to work with the vast collections! Really sad to see reviews, interesting that all come from those very connected to the old Wilson. I found this an exciting and engaging reincarnation that was relevant to Cheltenham today, love that there are more spaces for temporary exhibitions meaning a more fluid programme, and would recommend it to anyone.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet which was nice. There is no parking at the venue so we found a pay and display at Cheltenham Walk car park (about 5 minutes away) which cost £5.00 for 3 hours. We initially entered the library by mistake (as there was a museum sign outside) but the venue is next door through "The Kitchen" entrance. We had a coffee and hot chocolate here which cost £7.50. Unfortunately the coffee didn't taste very nice. Luckily the venue was free to enter. The exhibits were interesting enough for a few hours but they won't blow you away. The top floor had no displays on at the time as they were changing exhibitions when we visited.

It’s great to have this amazing museum with free entry in town. Their cafe is also a great place to relax and have a cuppa.

Great gallery with lots to do for children, the Wow Gallery has a collection of toys and some dressing up (with mini theatre stage). Particularly enjoyed the print exhibition from the Art Council. Cafe is nice, bit expensive for coffee but a good range

I love this place! It's wonderful to be able to come somehwere with your children and let them take everything in for an hour or two, with tea and cake at the end of it. There is also a lego wall, which is a hit! I had the absolute honour of photographing and videoing two new exhibition openings recently and I was bowled over by the passion and tencity of the people who run The Wilson. They truly care about art and history. Their vision of bringing these things to a place that children can also take in and enjoy has worked beautifully.

A wide range of artifacts, paintings; you'll need to spend some time here to appreciate it all. Really enjoyed looking at the work of designer Katy Welsh. Amazing screen prints.

Great free (contributions accepted) museum, Art gallery and cafe. Beware that some exhibits are behind blank walls and doors. I'm sure they'll reorganise the signage better as apparently it's only just re opened.

It’s a nice cafe with good atmosphere but honestly this girl was working alone between 2-4pm last Sunday. Dirty trays on all tables and serving counters. She made us nice drinks and afterward had to clear all these tables whilst two colleagues sitting outside smoking. Appalled to see. She deserves to be praised. Ice cream had melted and refrozen, so tasted more like ice lollies for £3.50 a tub.

This museum is a small and modest establishment with free entry, making it a quick and budget-friendly option. However, if you're looking for an extensive museum experience, you might be a bit disappointed as there isn't much to see. The museum spans across three floors, but you can easily explore the entire place within 15 to 30 minutes. On the bright side, they have a convenient coffee shop on the ground floor, providing a nice spot to relax after your brief visit. While it may not be a must-visit attraction, it's a pleasant stop if you're in the area and have some spare time to spare.

Quite commendable, well laid out with floors and activities for all ages. I especially favoured the spaces for early years and the interaction to create one’s own prints. Staff is friendly and welcoming with helpful facts. Additionally there are bathrooms on each floor with a beautifully decorated lift and a lovely cafe on the ground floor. Definite recommend and will visit again soon!

I enjoyed visiting very much. Highly informative and very relevant to the town. Historically fascinating and highly varied. A wonderful educational opportunity. Tactile elements to exhibits were highly enjoyable. A gem on my doorstep, and free to enter - with regular short term exhibits. I will definately visit again, and not alone.

I visited here in Mid March 2023. I found most of works from UK based artists. I liked artisans piano, antique furniture and pattern work by Farwa Moledina sessions during my visits. There is a nice and spacious cafe but I don't have chance to try. Free entrance to the museum.

Really helpful friendly staff, made the visit. Accessible. Not a big one but a lovely afternoon.

Huge thank you to the lovely women working on the reservations table on Wednesday evening for the rock orchestra. Understanding kind and thoughtful they made the night so much better thank you! The stairs are steep and there isn't a lift, however there are good rails both sides and it's big enough for people to walk around you. Thanks also to the lovely, tall, female usher to kindly gave me a taxi number. Highly recommend this venue and wonderful staff!

I can't fault the building itself. The staff are nice too, but that's what gets it 2 stars. To be fair the stage was raised, so we had a decent view. The chairs were laid out to maximise the seating, but even as a smaller person I felt hemmed in next to a stranger (who was lovely)...but far too close..over dramatic, but felt a little akin to battery hens. The organisation of drinks was woeful. Not the staffs fault I'm sure they were doing what they were told to. I got there reasonably quickly, paid for my drinks..which were only 2 and then moved aside to let someone else pay. They seemed quite disorganised as people who had been served after me were getting their drinks first. Other people were disgruntled by the apparent lack of organisation and pace. Not the end of the world, but when you pay to come out for an evening and the drinks are expensive, you expect good service. The queue was massive by the time I left and I'm sure many wouldn't have been served. I wouldn't choose to go to this venue again, beautiful.though it is. The Everyman is a much lovelier experience.

Good to see where your Council Tax is spent, has a public place for venues quite impressive, watched a show there which was well attended liquid refreshments were a little overpriced and toilets on the top floor would have been a good idea.

First time in the Town hall and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful venue. Only negative was my seat 😞 I could only see half of the stage due to being sat next to one of the (magnificent) marble pillars.

A really good venue always well presented show experience. My only criticism on this occasion was that the staff were searching bags and they consficated my daughters water and said that free water was available which under normal circumstances would be fine however we are in the middle of a pandemic and open cups on a table touched by lots of people is not a good thing.

Have been here a few times for shows and it's such a great venue. Seating is great and sound is awesome. Only one bar but has been well staffed the tines I have been.

Just been to see navi . Michael Jackson tribute was awful done 3 songs then went off early for 35 min then came back on and did 3/4 of a song and then told it was cancelled. Then when you go on the website for navi reviews it's been took off absolute joke . Never again .

Went to see the rock orchestra, they were absolutely amazing as usual. But last time we had no seats and got to stand which was fab. But tonight we had to sit, the seats are too close together and uncomfortable, the man next to me took up my seat space and I felt uncomfortable. I thought it was better without seats but the rock orchestra ar outstanding

Such a beautiful building to see a performance in. Right in the centre of Cheltenham with plenty of parking nearby and some great places to eat on the doorstep. A lovely bar for pre- drinks and interval drinks too. Also, very disabled friendly as we have discovered when bringing my mother in her wheelchair 3 times now. The staff could not be more accommodating - just make contact via phone or email in advance of the performance and they will move heaven and earth to help you out. Brilliant customer service.

A beautiful venue and helpful staff. Evenings entertainment ruined by the inability of the sound crew to compensate for the accoustics ofvthe building. I found the singers voices echoing and being drowned out by the volume of the drums and guitars. Only one number was pleasurable (acouctic) the rest were ineligible. Shame there was no willingness to tone it down. The sound engineer blamed the venue, yet didn't compensate.

While not necessarily the best venue in terms of modern facilities (more church hall sort of feeling) it's still a great place to go, and surrounded by nice park space and places to get a drink.

We have been to visit numerous times over the year but last night 01/12/23 was a good show but found the venue to be so cold. The audience sat all night in their coats. I hope when we co e in a fortnight's time we will find it much warmer

Enjoyable evening watching the music of the movies . Great orchestra.

Founded in 1246 by the Earl of Cornwall, Hailes Abbey is set amid delightful Cotswold countryside and is run by National Trust / English Heritage. There are only a few walls left, with information points giving details of the abbey and history. To be honest, there wasn't much there. Luckily the newly refurbished museum brings to life 300 years of piety, culture and tradition. As on its own I think the ruins are over priced. I think it could be a challenge to keep children engaged. Personally I preferred Hailes Church.

It is a nicely preserved, former Benedict Abbey, with its surrounding building ruins and an onsite English Heritage shop and be a museum.

Very beautiful place to visit. Abbey is also very good place as a hiking base. Staff and whole place is dog friendly.

Recommended for a visit. A key site linked to local history, Westminster Abbey, the dissolution by Henry VIII and religious iconography! It must have been an impressive building with a large footprint. Fascinating (deep) water management systems at the foot of the Cotswolds and close to Winchcombe and several other historic sites (see Belas Knap). Worth some time.

An excellent place to visit, the remains of the monastery where surrounding the remains is a wildlife hot spot. If you have or use the 'SEEK' ap (national geographic) you will amazed at how much is out there. The old church across the road is also worth a visit.

English heritage keeping the faith. Lovely church across the way, Hailes farm up the road and an excellent display of artifacts inside their museum. Quiet place for reflection surrounded by horse chestnut trees.

Excellent English Heritage site. Great for children, dogs and adults alike. Plenty of space to run around and lots of information plaques that children can read. Great fun.

Great location, audio guide, very interesting museum and a must see small church across the road. A small site but well worth a visit. Made so much better by the English Heritage employee at the kiost, a young lady clearly passionate about her job. Well done.

We absolutely loved our trip to Hailes Abbey. The welcome manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, which was really appreciated, and she was lovely with our two children. There’s free entry for National Trust members, and we were surprised by how much there is to see and learn here - the two museum spaces are fascinating and informative, and the site itself is very atmospheric (especially on a bleak February day!). We would love to return and do a walk in the stunning surrounding countryside, as well as visit the cafe up the road at Hayles Farm shop, and it would definitely be a fab place to visit on a sunny day with a picnic. Really recommended - and super dog friendly too!

As English Heritage members it's free, but if you're not a member, £12.30 an adult seems pretty steep for what is here. Not a lot left of the buildings themselves, some arches and low walls, and that's about it. With that said the audio guide is very comprehensive, and there is lots of signage. Some very interesting artifacts in the museum and the lady at the front desk is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Not a planned visit but we had our English Heritage membership cards with us which allowed us free entry here. We were certainly not disappointed and spent a happy hour wandering through the ruins. The lady at the entry hatch was wonderful. Informative and generally lovely and quite passionate about the location. Bought a guide book and Ice cream to wander around with, but there are far more things to buy from the shop such as Mead, books and artefact reproductions. There is parking a little bit down the road next to Hailes Church, which is where we went first. Built by the Earl of Cornwall in the 13th Century as a thanks to God for saving him in a shipwreck. Reputed to have had a ampule of the blood of Christ, which brought the pilgrims and much funding. This was found not to be a holy relic in the 16th century in a public denouncement. Not long after this, it fell under the suppression of monasteries under Henry VIIl Toilets on site next to the museum, and as open plan as there ruins are, wheelchair access is tight.

We've been meaning to visit this place for a while. So glad we finally made the trip. The lady on reception was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We are English heritage members so we got free entry. There is a free audio guide which was great to use. Easy and really interesting to hear the stories of the abbey. It was relatively quiet here today so that was nice as you could take plenty of clear photos. The museum is also really interesting. Don't forget to visit the church opposite.

I went to a Gin tasting here with my husband for his birthday. It was not at all as I expected. You get to try 4 different gins throughout the tasting without tonic, with tonic (flat tonic - apparently this is so you can taste the gin) then with a garnish. At the end you get a small shot of sloe gin. The host was knowledgeable and obviously had a keen interest in gin. We had a tour of the distillery (one room and a chat about how they make gin) All this took about 1.5 hours. Could have done with some nibbles and a selection of tonics to try. Overall not great value for money in my opinion.

Just kind of seems very disorganised and preoccupied. Attempted to book weeks ago and correspondence is slow and now non existent. Should definitely reevaluate their customer service, update their website to reflect what they can/cannot provide, or both. Really liked their distillery not sure what’s happened to them.

Ordered the pumpkin spiced gin and it was super 🎃👌🏻 flavour was brilliant and really good quality. Delivery took a good bit longer than expected but given the current climate it’s understandable. Dying to try more flavours...

Amazing place, a gem in Cheltenham with such history as the sculptures are influenced by Fontana di Trevi in Rome

It is a lovely fountain and I can imagine it might be a nice place to sit and take in but it is hard to rate this location because as a standalone experience it is just a beautiful fountain. I would have given it lower than 3 stars but I gave it 3 stars due to the fact it is part of an accumulation of sightseeing locations that come together as an aesthetic experience. Definitely go see it and other places, like some of the architecture while maybe doing some shopping.

Pretty, but a bit misleading when this is the main attraction used to describe Cheltenham. It's a pretty area but aside from this statue it is a bit like any other city with generic shopping and a high street.

Cool fountain that looks beautiful on a sunny day. It has benches by it so is a nice spot to sit and relax or have your lunch!

Couple of the nozzle is not spraying water properly but fountain is working, also genuinely impressive and comes with their own seagal doing squats trying to get food from underneath the statue.

We had an early lunch at the Heritage Deco cafe. The food was good. Would have liked steel cutlery, but I understand the limitations. Nice location and good atmosphere.

Lovely relaxing walk around the park and lakes. Lots of bird life, woodpeckers, swans, moorhens, coots, mallard ducks as well as sea birds....

Beautiful venue, I attend the Artisan Markets that they hold once a month the next one is on 23rd July, the Americano weekend last week was well attended with great music.

It's was closed off inside and unclear how to find this information in advance. However the outside lakes and walks were spectacular in spring.

Impressive building in my home town. Great memories of dances and events here. Beautiful place for a sophisticated chic wedding. Stunning decor and set in the grounds of Pittville Park.

Went there for the dog swim. It’s a great facility with friendly staff, a lot of fun was had. The pool is large and warmer than expected. Good facilities including a heated changing room! My dog did not enjoy the swimming but I’d recommend the pool anyway!

It is a nice place to go and enjoy an open air pool. Unfortunately the water wasn't as warm as written but it was OK. Better than ice cold water. I would like to have noticed earlier that there are lockers where I can put my belongs under lock (not provided). I definitely recommend it.

Lovely big pool with two slides, the day I went was cooler but still was a great swim. The cafe and sauna were not open but look forward to trying next time. Changing rooms were traditional and showers hot.

This is my little bit of pleasure! Ok to normal folks perhaps not, but when the sun is out, the cold water swim is very exhilarating. Slightly more challenging when its 3 degrees, and ice has to be broken, but I’m up for a challenge. Lovely group of people & staff. Wonderful cafe.

Sandford Lido is a fantastic family-friendly destination and the perfect spot to beat the heat on a scorching day. With its three pools catering to all age groups, delightful playgrounds and a charming coffee shop offering a variety of food, beverages, and ice cream, it's a one-stop destination for fun and refreshment. We had a blast and highly recommend it for a day of summer enjoyment!

Weather could not have been better! And must be the most profitable day for the Lido...Great idea at end of season to let dogs have the pool....just got to wait another year! And looks great for humans too!!!!!!!

What a smashing location!! We are doing SUP yoga classes in the pool, so much fun! Great staff, great location, great cafe! What's not to love?!?!

the parking is good you pay before you leave and it tells you how much and what was your time of entry so no mistakes and affordable prices , warm water ,nice hot showers, lovely staff and nice cafe .

A wonderful outdoor pool. Social distancing in place. The pool is large and there are plenty of space to change in a small square, which is socially distanced. There are family swim sessions to bring the children. Good direction to allow for social distancing measures. Staff were friendly. Good snack bar.

We go every year for dog day! If you have a dog and they love to swim! This is a must. The pure joy you feel for an hour in the pool with your pooch is the best feeling. You leave with a smile on your face! I'd also recommend if you don't have a dog to use the facilities. Nice cafe, lovely pool. Nice and clean.

Main pool rather nippy even on a hot day in June, kids pool like a bath. Well lifeguarded. Changing facilities and toilets could be cleaned more regularly. Busy but was half term

An interesting little museum. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The items on display were interesting and explained about Holst's life there until he was 8 yrs old. There is a video which is about 20 mins long but there are no subtitles to enable deaf visitors to understand it. Also the sound was so low that hearing people could not hear it either. Entry £7 for adults.

Excellent small but fascinating museum, really well interpreted by welcoming and attentive staff. Excellent short introductory film explaining Holst’s early life. Highly recommended.

Holst's birth place, the Victorian house has got a very good collection on display from that era. There is a room dedicated to Holst. It was a very pleasurable moment to stand by the piano Holst used while listening his pieces of piano music. It was very interesting to know that he had studied Sanskrit in order to create his opera Savitri and some other pieces of music based on Hindu scripts.

We enjoyed this museum for both its content and its wonderfully warm welcome. The exhibits relating to the life of Gustav Holst are fascinating. What sets this museum apart, however, is that it lets us look into the life of the house in the Victorian period and beyond giving a great human angle to the curation. A small gem, the highlight of our visit to Cheltenham.

Went there a few months ago, it was a very pleasant experience. No pressure or rush but rather enjoyed the moment. The house itself is a museum which is very clean and presentable of showing the Victorian life and history. Me and my family enjoyed it very much and spent about over an hour or two there. There is a cute souvenirs shop and you can stay in the house for as long as you want. The host was very helpful and kind, explaining the history of this house and also taking our coats to the hanger with a warm welcome. It’s an experience to remember. :)

We really enjoyed Holst's house. If you like period houses, or classical music, or both, do visit. Furnished in the period of Holst's childhood. Includes the actual piano he wrote the planets on. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Thanks for helping us when we arrived near the end of opening time. If you are national art pass members, you get in free.

Visited the museum with my children and we all enjoyed our visit to this wonderful small museum on the edge of the centre. We received a warm welcome. The video at the start gave us a lovely framework to start, followed by lots of background information on the life of Gustav Holst from the staff. We had an extra special treat with the victorian cooking in the downstairs kitchen and we could try all kinds of things. All in all a nice visit and I would recommend a tour if you are in Cheltenham

Fascinating museum that covers both Holst and Victorian living. The knowledgeable volunteer shared lots of interesting information with us. Loved it!
