This is the perfect picture spot in Mykonos! The windmills look amazing and it's also a really nice place to find some share and get shelter from the sun. Near the first windmill there's also a souvenir shop which sells more unique things than other shops in the old town so I would recommend checking it out. Also there are a few places around that sell water so stock up here instead of going somewhere more expensive!

If you visit Mykonos Greece you have to visit the windmills of Mykonos. Located right on the beach into center of local restaurants bars and tourist stores alike. Here you will find some of the most authentic food in Mykonos and the freshest fish in the sea. You will get lots of picture opportunities but be sure to bring a jacket if you plan on being here after the sun goes down because it will get chilly. It’s windy in the day so perfect for a sundress picture or a Windy shirt for the guys.

We visited Greece during July of 2019. We had Mykonos as a stop on our trip. We have Greek friends and relatives and were told to visit the windmills and the beach. It was very busy when we got there but the views with the windmills were very nice. Well worth the visit if you are in Mykonos.

Very windy, fine place to watch sunset. It will get crowded when sun is setting so go a little early if you want a nice picture with the windmills. Parking looked like a nightmare (which may be normal for busy Mykonos) but I walked there so I didn't have to deal with that! Right up the hill from little Venice.

Very nice place. Get here in the morning to get some of the best clicks. Looks very pristine without the crowds. The general area is very well kept and you'd love to enjoy some of the nice cafes nearby.

A must see for the history and the views. From the viewpoint on a clear day you can see the neighbouring islands. It's great to watch the high speed ferries, cruise ships and jet boats from this nice little vantage point.

Here’s a different vantage point on these windmills… we stayed here via Airbnb. Absolutely incredible experience and it was one of the nicest places we stayed while in Greece. The place was so clean and well put together and the location was perfectly located without being around all the loud evening scene of Mykonos. Three stories tall with two (arguably three) bedrooms and three bathrooms, this was the first place we stayed where the air conditioning was as good as what we have in the US. The views were stunning and it was an overall incredible experience. Not terribly expensive either!

My wife and I woke up quite early to take some good photos of this iconic and quite known windmills in Mykonos for our memories and also to share with our friends and loved ones. We stayed at the city centre so it just took us some few steps to arrive, well a little bit longer due to we shot some photos of the charming and beautiful alleys of Chora without people. When we arrived to this spot we got astonished by the beautiful landscape and marvelled because we realised we were very, very far from home and on a place too much people would like to be. This day was not as windy as other days, because, if you do not know, the location of this windmills was strategically set due to most of the time is very windy here, so, we could get some beautiful shots with our camera, our mobile and some aerials with our drone. These windmills were used in early days to grind grains like Wheat, Corn, Bulgur, Semolina or Barley which are used in the traditional Greek cuisine to prepare dishes like Greek country bread, Cretan rusks, Katsimaki, Bobota and Pilaf. The five windmills are in good shape and well maintained, in contrast with other windmills you can find along Greece. You can approach, sit back and take your photos, just try be early to have the place just for you. There is a small gift shop in the place named Mytho that sales greek traditional products if you want to buy some souvenirs. The attraction here are the windmills and the landscape view of the bay which is beautiful without the bustling of people. We heard that you can stay at this beautiful windmills via Airbnb, but it is not a fact.

A must visit if you’re in Mykonos even if don’t like art. Just in the hart of the town, is free entrance. The staff are super friendly and they explain you everything about every art exposed there. It would take max 10 min to see everything.

4 of my friends and i visited the gallery in july and was excited to see it for 3 months. when we saw the sign outside, we were very excited to finally see it. however when we went in, we were greeted by a very rude man who kept making rude comments and inappropriate jokes about my girl-friends. ignoring that, half of the gallery was closed for renovations and we were overall disappointed by the hospitality we got from this man :(((

This is a small gallery in downtown Mykonos, in the Little Venice district. The employees were absolutely fantastic and super knowledgeable about the art and the artists, able to point out interesting details and to provide some very helpful background information. The art is exceptional, in particular the photo realism pieces done in oil. We had a really enjoyable time admiring the art and learning about the artists and the pieces. Definitely recommend.

Small contemporary art gallery. Not crowded despite the prime location in the middle of everything. The staff was very friendly. Good respite from the hot Greek sun - had air conditioning.

A white historical church by the sea, the church looks different from the blue dome ones, it can not be entered and has a triangle top with only one bell. I visit it at noon and the sun is just too strong especially reflected by the completely white church, recommend you to visit during sunset hours.

Charming church where sunset could be a delight. It’s a picturesque spot with ample amount of hidden treasures. It might get a lot crowded during evenings but there is a lot of space to sit and chill. The walk to this place is just around the corner and it’s a lot less noisy than the little Venice part of the town.

My wife and I visited this iconic church on our last trip to Mykonos, it is just aside the remnants of Mykonos Castle. The whitewashed colour on the facade and the surrounding buildings and structures make this spot quite special to take some impressive photos or selfies for instagram, so that, try to arrive early to take some nice photos avoiding crowds. Watching the sunset from here is amazing due to the golden colours which paints the white facade and the surroundings, do not miss it. The name of this church (Paraportiani) translates into 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳, and it was, becase in early times, the door of the castle was next to this church. Indeed, it is not only one church, the construction is spreaded into five small churches, built one on top or next to the other. The church of Agios Efstathios is the center, surrounded by the churches of Agios Anargyros, Agios Sozon, and Agia Anastasia. On top of those four churches, lies the church of the Virgin Mary (Paraportiani), which looks like a dome.

An amazing place to chill and relax with the beautiful view. The place is less crowded during the afternoon but during sunsets and evenings its very crowded unlike the other town little Venice. Make sure u use the longer way of the old port road and avoid the aisles to get to this place. Recommend to visit here during sunsets. Couldn't make it up for one due to other commitments but would definitely plan for one in the near future.

Our day trip to Mykonos during our Mediterranean cruise a few years ago continues to stand out in our family's memories. We enjoyed hanging out and swimming in the waters of Psarou beach. The sunbeds were relatively cheap compared to the others nearby. The food at the canteen-style restaurant Be Cool was just what we craved. This beach was perfect for a family with children. Not like the party beaches a few miles away. Walking through the town was quite pleasant, albeit hot as it was the middle of summer. The Windmills of Mykonos were lovely. Will definitely come back and explore more of Mykonos on our next Greek isles adventure.

A location ruined by the rudeness of the guy who manages the cribs who thinks he can scam customers. We arrived 12 minutes late on the booking and he told us that if we wanted to recover the beds he had now given to others we had to pay 2400 euros instead of the 400 expected.

The worst experience of my life in a beach club. Incorrect people working there and the they forgot the education at home.

Nice clean beach, great sunbeds and parasols, looks well maintained, with plenty of room to move around and have access for a swim, the water is super crystal clear, cool and fresh. Great chill out music good vibe and atmosphere. Sunlounges a pair, with towels, go from Front row €100 to last row €40, (everywhere on the island is about this much) . Lunch was very tasty and good, we had ceasar chicken salad, and the beef tacos, everything was fresh and well presented.

I usually do not write reviews but since this was our worst experience on the beautiful island of Mykonos I would like to share my view. This was the worst beach in Mykonos and not clean at all. The beach club charges 50€/sun-bed for the last row. The sand and sun beds are very dirty and it’s not comparable to other beaches in terms of hygiene and service (e.g. Super Paradise Beach, Ornos Beach, Gialos Beach etc.). Glas, cigarettes and plastic can be found all over the sand of the Agia Anna Beach club. The music was way too loud and not relaxing at all. We asked very friendly to keep the volume of the music a little bit down since we could not hear each other talk but we were ignored. The service staff was very arrogant and non-professional. The parking service costs 10€/day which is fair. The only nice thing is the view with the rocks but the water is not extraordinarily different to other beaches. All in all I can say that I would 100% NOT recommend this beach club since it was a waste of money since you can find a lot of cleaner beach clubs with more friendly staff and more beautiful beaches.

Really nice staff!! The beach was absolutely beautiful and we loved being able to climb up the rocks to the Spilia restaurant for lunch. Drinks were great as well! Get the piña colada! Chairs were reasonable for luxury beach club.

The most beautiful beach around in my opinion, very expensive but you can stay for free on the back side. There's more space in comparison with the other beaches and a great place for snorkeling. If you go there, go earlier to find a parking place

Big Sandy beach, not many people lots of sand parking. It was windy when we were there. I couldn’t see any amenities, not sure if any up on the hill nearby?

Beautiful gamely secluded place with small former archaeology dig site done the middle of the back beach. The water here is crystal clear. Loses a star because of the used condoms and bear bottles and cans. When wind not coming from the north it is quite calm but can get very choppy when it does

Very windy beach with tiny pebbles and windsurfers all around. There is one big bar and music, no sun beds and the beach itself is a bit dirty. Overall its nice for a swim if you don't mind the wind.

Rocky dystopian beach. Not necessarily for swimming but very good for surfing or chilling on the rocky small hills and enjoy the view.

Nice scenic Beach especially for windsurfers and kitesurfing. Also if you rent a ATV or off road vehicle this is the place to be. I had a blast with our ATV as there are some off road paths at the beach. Was recommended by our atv rental company and I must say it was the best place for the quad. If its bot too windy this beach will be great for swimming.

It's a quiet and little museum to be fair. Only costs 4 euros for entry and has lots of items to see, and well worth the time. Beautiful objects of art. Great if you are having a short stay but if you have been to Delos island you might be a little underwhelmed by the museum and what it has to offer.

One of the oldest museum in Greece, built in 1905 to house the discoveries on Rheneia, a small island near Delos and used as a cemetery for the Delians (426 BC). The collection includes pottery, personal artifacts, grave reliefs and all kinds of grave-offerings. One of the most important objects on display is the relief pithos with scenes from the Fall of Troy from the island of Tinos. The entrance is 4 euros and it is open from 8 am to 4 pm. I recommend its visit.

Small museum with lots of archaeological excavations exhibited. When I visited, there was an additional exhibition of the history of Mykonos in pictures. This was refreshing in an otherwise rather monotonous display. It was also interesting to see how artifacts are restored even when some pieces of the "puzzle" are missing.

What a gem this museum is. I know Mykonos is known for beaches beautiful Cycladic architecture and the night life. This museum puts it all in perspective. Plus until the end of October there is a Robert McCabe photo exhibition.

Disappointed to find CLOSED FOR RENOVATION to (maybe?) August 2023. The Maritime Museum was also closed. Come on guys, you can do better than this. What was obviously a lovely fishing village has surrendered to cruise ship visitors and expensive shops selling imported tat. We do not recommend. What a shame.

Nice small museum with permanent display of Denos ceramic and other finds and temporary exhibits. Jewelry exhibit during our visit had ancient finds juxtaposed with contemporary designers. An interesting thing was to see in Neolithic case a gold bead and bronze pendant: while Neolithic age is by definition “new stone” it seems metal was beginning to be found...

Mykonos Island is something you would like to see and visit historically.

4€ entry fee with 3 indoor areas and 1 large outdoor area of steles and statues from Delos and Rhenia. Beautiful map of antiquity that I looked at for what felt longer than the rest of the museum. About 1 hour needed.

Great view ! Calm and relaxing beach ! If you want to swim just be careful to rocks in the water that can hurt your feet

On first glance, it seems nice, and the wind during these hot summer days is great. But going for a swim here is very dangerous! Very sharp rocks and strong waves. This combo caused a lot of small cuts on my feet.

Beach is pretty but there are absolutely zero warning signs about sharp rocks and slippery shelves. Do not recommend swimming on this beach

It’s a beach at least. The sunsets are great, but the harsh sand and winds really take away from the experience. Not to mention, there’s a lot of trash and we found some broken glass on the sand. I wouldn’t walk on this beach without some kind of footwear to be safe.

Nice regular beach, nothing special

As others have already pointed out, this is not the best beach you can go to here on Mykonos. The benefits are that it’s practically empty and it’s also one of the best spots to view the sunset. But the sand itself is full of small rocks and debris that makes this not an ideal spot to lounge in the sand without a blanket or something thicker.

It’s not the best beach in the world but the view of the sunsets from here are particularly spectacular. Most people at sunset probably flock to little Venice and the windmills but this beach is much quieter so great to avoid the crowds and is a short walk south of Chora

The closest beach to Mykonos town, just a 10 minute walk from the windmills / fabrika bus station and you are here. There are only 2 restaurants here and both provide deck chairs, no loud music and only a few people that come to this beach. I ate at the one restaurant called nikos taverna and it was excellent. Great place for those who need a break from the tourist crazy destinations. Great spot for swimming too.

The beach is nice but there's a coral reef very close to the beach, which makes swimming difficult. Even sea urchins are close to the entrance area. Overall it's a nice and quiet beach, with a perfect view of sunsets. Just be aware of the close reef :)
