In my room, I could not figure out how to call reception on the telephone ( there is no leaflet with dialing instructions )
The safe was locked, and I could not use it
With surprise, I noticed that the minibar was empty, and not even a bottle of water was provided ( for the price paid of over € 150,00/ single room - a complimentary glass of water would be appreciated): upon check-in, I was not informed about this empty minibar and how the fill-up procedure works, etc. I had to come downstairs to shop at the mini market at the reception, which, after a long day's drive, was quite annoying.
Do not disturb - make up my room sign are not in the room, neither I could find a switch to inform maid service not to disturb …
The Pillows, which initially seem very comfortable, are high on the neck. While the bed is super comfy, the pillows are not, and I would expect an extra type of pillow in the closet for guests like me that find the pillow provided uncomfortable.
Restaurant reception, I visited the restaurant for dinner; I waited and waited and waited to be seated, but no -one showed up - I tried to make eye contact with one of the waiters but did not succeed, so I left. Upon breakfast, same story, but this time I decide to walk to a table and consume my morning meal.
I visited the pool in the evening and again in the morning. I am used to exercising in pools daily, but in this pool, it was a bit different because of the high content of chemicals in the water. You could smell a high content of chlorine in the water and in fact, my skin reacted in both visits by hitching.
The sauna and steam rooms are a nice addition to the spa area. It is a pity that in an area where the lights are very important to ensure relaxation, instead, I found large chandeliers over the pool with a cold diffuse light + intense spotlights pointed exactly over the relaxation benches and more hanging lamps with warm lights. The result of this light show is unpleasant and does not invite guests to enjoy the spa.
The evening I used the Spa there were no towels or water to drink. The morning after, even though the cleaner had been in the spa, no towels or the water in the XL bottle had been replaced.
There are two water fountains in the Pool - during both of my visits, I could not use them because they did not function.
