Friend and I stopped on our way home. I'm definitely not disappointed! We were sat incredibly quickly (Thursday afternoon, may change on weekends), polite service, and tasty food.
The two of us utterly smashed two appetizers - their weekly special of Gold Rolls and Buffalo Cauliflour. What started with questions ended in delight "gold sauce? What's that?" Hannah said to me as we waited, "I don't know, but I sure hope it tastes good." Just as I finished saying this, our waitress, Kat, swung open wide, the single red door separating us from what would soon be described as utter bliss. Upon stepping outside into a lively atmosphere of a group of friends excited to see their friend Dave - who had just arrived, awaited two, eager and starved 20 somethings drooling at the thought of devouring that of which they knew little. Brought before their very eyes was a beautifully plated pile of crispy, mouth wateringlu delicious Beer Battered Buffalo Cauliflower, made better by one thing and one thing only - the perfect portion size of dipping ranch. Hitting the table next was 8, perfectly crafted Pinwheeles stuffed with things I'm too full to remember. This was just the appetizers.
Next came the Pizza. I had to re read the menu a second time when I thought I had read "Jalapeño Popper Pizza," two of my favorite things combined into one, deliciously crispy, cheesy dish? To my suprise, my eyes this time had not deceived me - Jalapeño Popper Pizza was clearly printed in the menu. I was breathless. "You in?" I asked, fierce hunger piercing stomach. Two words. "I'm in," As we quickly devoured our appetizers, we waited in bellyaching agony, awaiting the epitome of perfection to land upon our table. With drool running down our chins, Hannah said, "A man woke up in his hotel room, pushed his car 3 blocks, and got arrested. Why?" This exchange of riddles continued until our waitress (at first we thought, how rude") said "excuse me,". Angry eyes quickly turned wide with joy as we saw a delicatly crafted, handtossed brick oven pizza just asking to become one with our bodies - and it didn't take long for that to happen.
I write this review feeling delighted with my experience here at Kannah's, stuffed to the brim, with a 2 hour ride home as the passenger princess. If you read that entire thing, thank you, lol. I definitely recommend stopping here, it was truly good! And only a 23-minute walk to Dairy Queen!
