(Translated by Google) This house is located in a neighborhood called "Dar Band Agha". Because this alley used to have doors on both sides, it is called "Band" and because some scholars and Sadats have been in this neighborhood, they call it Agha.
The house is between 150 and 200 years old. It was built by Fath Ali Shah for a person named Mohammad Taqi Hosseini behind Mashhad, who was one of the scholars of the 13th century and had correspondence and interviews with Mullah Ahmed Naraqi and Sheikh Ansari, and now he is buried in Habib bin Musa tomb. It is said that this person was one of the Sufis and was the head of a sect called Kamiliyeh. It is narrated that once Fath Ali Shah asked him which of my children have the right to reign, and he said Muhammad Mirza, while Abbas Mirza was the crown prince in Tabriz. Later, Abbas Mirza dies and Mohammad Meza becomes Mohammad Shah.
Different parts of the house
The house is made up of two main parts, inner and outer.
There are two platforms next to the entrance of the house, which are called "Sheikh Neshin" or "Pir Neshin".
After passing through the entrance of the house, which is called the entrance hall, we reach a covered space with rooms around and two floors, in the middle of which there is a water pond. This whole part of the building is known from the outside. The exterior of the house was used for daily visits, receiving guests and staying for travelers. This space itself is called Khodkhane.
(a roofed space in the middle of which there is a water basin). There are two rows of rooms in Hozkhaneh. The rooms in the upper part were for women and the rooms in the lower part were for men, which were used in weddings, celebrations, mourning or Muharram. All the rooms have wooden doors called Orosi, which are opened and closed vertically. Next to the pond, there is a large corridor that connects the inner part to the alley. (The house has two doors) This hallway was known as Hijab hallway.
The inner part of the house has a large yard with winter and summer sitting areas on both sides. The right part of the yard, which is sunny, was the winter part of the building. The spaces of this place are covered and have a room called the house chair where there is a big chair and under it there is a pit called the coal pit which is used for heating in winters. The left side of the courtyard is the summer sitting area of the building.
The spaces of this part are more open and have a beautiful porch called "Shah Neshin" where in the summers one can enjoy hookah and fruits... and the air is cool. Under the king's seat is the main cellar of the house. The house has several cellars. In the corner of the main basement, there are mesh windows that are connected to the wind deflectors of the house. Kashan wind deflectors have 4 wings (unlike Yazd wind deflectors, which are 8 wings) that can pull the wind in from four sides. In the middle of the wind deflector, there is a thin wall that causes warm and light air to rise from one side and cold and heavy air to come down from the other side. Under the wind deflectors, they dig a semi-deep well to reach the water, the water flow causes the air pressure difference and air cooling (the air sucked into the wind deflector due to the pressure difference caused by the water flow), which one wind deflector is equivalent to 6 to 7 coolers. It is effective.
The basements are connected by a network of channels and the air circulation in these channels creates coolness and comfortable air in the whole building. Inside the cellars, there are smaller cellars known as back cellars. They have been used to keep water and food cool. One of these cellars had a way to the nearby houses, which was for the passage of women. It was also a secret way and escape route of the house. The light of the cellar is provided by the windows and its grid door. The mesh of the windows and the door means that while providing light, a person cannot see into the cellar from inside the yard, because the family members of the house used the cellar in the afternoons and afternoons of hot days.
In the space on the roof of the house, there are walls all around the house, which are known as the Hijab wall. The presence of these walls has made it impossible to see the neighboring house when using the roof
