The food at Blossom was incredibly good, I will give them credit for that. You can tell it's freshly made with quality ingredients. The prices and the service, however, are the reasons I, unfortunately, don't see myself ever going back. Our 3-person shared mezze platter ended up being €81 for 7 tiny bowls and a basket of pita. Considering the ingredients are mostly vegan or vegetarian, I simply can't understand or justify the price. On top of that, some of the plates had 4 or 5 items on them, so we weren't able to share evenly between the 3 of us. It just wasn't well thought out and we had to get the rest of our dinner elsewhere.
The service, unfortunately, was probably the worst part of it. They tried to seat us at a 2-person table before my friend corrected them, at which point they had to move people around and sit one of us in between two tables, right at the doorway to the kitchen, which set us up for an uncomfortable dinner. Once our entire party arrived, no one came for our drink orders, so we had to remind them that we had no drinks when they eventually came for our food order. We finished our drinks while waiting and were excited to move on to the lovely cocktail menu but, again, no one ever came back to the table so we kept having to wait for someone to come out of the kitchen and flag them down. They then couldn't remember our cocktail order and had to come back for clarification. When the drinks finally did arrive, the server wasn't sure what they were. Then the food came, at which point we realized we didn't have 3 sets of silverware or enough plates, but it took so long for anyone to bring a plate (and we had to help ourselves to the silverware) that we just decided to eat straight from the platter. After over an hour of this catastrophe, with no additional service, we decided to pay and get out asap so we could rescue our girls' night plans.
It's a shame because the pictures look so amazing, but I didn't realize how incredibly small the bowls were or how little food would be in them. On top of that, the disorganized, incredibly slow service just made it too unpleasant to give them a second chance.
